Welcome in to another edition of The Truth Behind the Truth. I'm Jonathan Prell. Thanks for tuning in. And more importantly, as we say all the time, because we really do appreciate it, we really appreciate the time that you give these episodes. And today, I think we've got a pretty juicy one. We have said from the very beginning that we're going to deal with anything and everything that's even remotely controversial. And at some point, that might even get into conspiracy theories. And we're not going to talk about a conspiracy theory per se in this episode. However, we are going to look at UFOs, extraterrestrials, and where we are today versus where we were just a few years ago. The title of this episode is Are Extraterrestrials Real? Or are they us in the future? Think about that. And while we're thinking about that, let's go back to the beginning and break all of this down. It is well documented that things have been happening in our skies and potentially even beyond our skies or even beyond our atmosphere for centuries. I mean, even dating back to the ancient Incas and the Mayas, who would depict on walls. They would draw pictures of things appearing to come from the sky. They would have pictures of things that resembled what we would refer to today as a flying saucer. And they even drew these very crude pictures of beings that they believe came from these places. So those have been around for centuries. But where we are right now essentially dates back to 1945 and specifically 1947, because it was in 1947 that we had that incident in Roswell, New Mexico. And there are still people who call that incident an incident today. Although the narrative is starting to change because thanks to Congress, they there have been a whole bunch of declassified files, uh, videos, people who were earlier not allowed to talk about whatever experience they had are now free to do so. And a lot of those people uh that tried to prevent you from talking about those things are gone anyway. So, but we have reached a point where the discussions are more realistic and they're more focused on getting to the actual truth behind the truth, if you will. Going back to 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico, we know for a fact that something happened in the open desert area in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Something crashed. What crashed is still up for debate. There are many people who believe very strongly in both directions. But back in those days, you didn't talk about that. We also didn't have what we have now, and we mentioned this many times before, the 24-hour news cycle has changed everything. So in 1947, something happened. Yeah, a lot of people started talking about it, but it took a little while for the press to catch on and figure out is there something going on here that we need to look into? And clearly there was. Eyewitnesses claim that what landed or what crashed was nothing that they had ever seen before. There were people who insisted that it was a spaceship, that it came from outer space. They watched it come all the way down and then crash. And then there are those who say that in that crash, the beings that occupied that craft, whatever it was, were dead. And that their bodies, at least one of them, was outside of the craft. And what we do know is that before anything could really happen, people were talking about what was going on. They were making their way to that area to see what was happening. And before they knew it, in the blink of an eye, there were trucks coming from everywhere that appeared to be military who simply took the debris, wrapped it up, cleaned up the entire area, and then they loaded those trucks and they took them wherever it was they took them. Some believe that they were taken to Area 51. Uh, some people say they were taken to Los Alamos and then moved later to uh Area 51, but nobody really knows for sure. And of course, back then they said, oh no. Initially they came out. The initial reports were, yeah, this thing came from outer space. And what we saw on the ground in these beings are unlike anything we've seen before. They're certainly not human. I mean, they might have looked a little bit more human than you might expect in terms of a body, arms, legs, and a head. And of course, they were always described as having very, very large eyes. And, you know, that seems to be the general thing. And there were people who swore up and down that they saw all this. And even when the military got there and started talking about it, after they were loading things up, they said, Yeah, we we might have a spacecraft here. But then that quickly changed. Within just a matter of probably 24 to 48 hours, it changed and they said, no, this was not uh a craft from outer space. I don't know if they called it a weather balloon or exactly what they called it, but they they gave an explanation as to what it was, and that did not sit well with most everybody else. It really didn't sit well with the press either, because the thing was so intense. And if it wasn't anything that we need to worry about, how did those trucks get there so fast, get that stuff loaded up, covered, and get it the heck out of Dodge? How did that happen as fast as it did? It almost appeared like they knew that this was going to happen and they were prepared for it. And these trucks were already making their way to the New Mexico desert. But if if it was nothing to worry about, then why say it was just a weather balloon and not say anything else about it, not allow people to see what it was that they collected. They just blew it off and said, Oh, yeah, we explained it. It was a weather balloon or something like that, or we were testing something uh that went awry. But the the way the government responded to that was very, very strange. And of course, at that time, you know, the government didn't talk about anything. But even to this day, our government, although a lot of files have been declassified and a lot of videos have been declassified to this day, they still don't want to say, oh yeah, it's spacecraft or it's extraterrestrial. You know, we know that for a fact. They're not saying that. They're saying that there are things that have been reported that have been seen. Back in those days, let's back up a little bit. They were referred to as UFOs, unidentified flying objects. Well, that has changed. They are no longer called UFOs, although using the term UFO is still very much acceptable. But they came up with a new name called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. And the reason they changed it is because they wanted to create something that was a matter of aviation safety, maybe even intelligence, and national security. And again, the term UFO is still commonly used by the public, but official agencies now use UAP because it covers anomalies not only in the air, but also in space, underwater, and across multiple domains. And as a result of the name change, there is now a central reporting office. It's called the AARO, the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office within the U.S. Department of Defense. And their mission now, you know, it it used to be reports were taken from farmers and, you know, people like that, and general public, in other words. And even in some cases, you had police officers, firefighters seeing things that they were reporting. So it was almost 99% of the time reported by something other than some official channel. Well, this AARO, its sole mission now is to collect reports from across the military and the intelligence community. They are able to analyze sensor data. They are able to determine whether sightings are attributable to drones, some kind of foreign technology, natural phenomenon, or something still unidentified. And their job was to brief Congress and issue public reports, which is a brand new thing because they're talking about these things a lot more often than they used to, and they're certainly releasing information way earlier than they used to. Now, the current policy is that military personnel and DOD civilian employees, they report UAP through their chain of command under updated joint staff guidance. Uh, civilian pilots, for example, if they see something, they are to report any unusual sightings to air traffic control, and then the FAA will step in, and then those reports will ultimately go with the AARO. And the general public still still does not have a direct public UAP reporting portable. But the AARO says that one may be created in the future, but it has not been opened. So we're still kind of left with that stigma, you know, that we had for so long that it's it's always the guy making a still in the backwoods wearing uh John Deere ball cap, a hoo-farted t-shirt, coming down from the hills saying, Oh, yeah, I saw it. I come up over that hill over there, and it was shaped like a giant cigar. And it didn't make a sound. It was as quiet as can be. And, you know, we still tend to rely on those people. Those are the ones that seem to make it on television anyway. But uh, but that's about the only way that the general public had to report these things. And a lot of times, if it came from the general public, it was uh, you know, it was dismissed. But one of the biggest differences from a few years ago is that whistleblowers now have an official channel. And whistleblowers would be current and former members of the military, government employees, maybe intelligence personnel, contractors who have first-hand knowledge of alleged U.S. government UAP-related programs dating back to about 1945, and they can submit their information directly to the AARO. But the fact remains that something was taken out of that New Mexico desert in 1947. And since then, there have been all kinds of things that have happened. They have been recorded uh on video back when we had those video cameras that we had to mount on our shoulders, but now we get cell phone videos, and the technology with those has changed tremendously uh just over the last 10 to 15 years. You can now get a much clearer picture using a cell phone camera that you could have there's no way you would have been able to get 25 years ago. So it has gotten easier, certainly, but there have also been a tremendous amount of things that have happened in broad daylight in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Uh, one of the more famous ones happened just a few years ago uh in Chicago. It was the middle of the day. You might even remember this. It was the middle of the day. And above O'Hare Airport in Chicago, something very strange appeared in the sky. And it moved in a very precarious way. It seemed to be able to go fast, slow down, stop, turn on a dime, and move around in a way that nobody has ever seen aircraft move around. So right away, people are thinking, and this is above O'Hara Airport. So the tower even reported seeing this. And of course, so many of the pilots who were both coming in and on the ground waiting to take off, they saw it. And they all said, Yeah, I mean, I've been flying my whole life. I've never seen anything that had that kind of maneuverability. And again, that was over Chicago, Illinois, in the middle of the day. And then another one of the more famous ones, I think it was in Australia. It was either in Australia or South Africa, but I'm pretty sure it was in Australia where there was this open field. And again, in the middle of the day, on a weekday, this thing landed in this field that was right next to a school. And the kids looking out the window in the classroom, they all saw it. They all saw it coming down. The teachers saw it. Everybody started running outside, and they actually watched this thing come down, whatever it was. And the way people described it was very unique. Unique in the sense that, yeah, that doesn't sound like anything that we know of that we would have access to and that we might be testing and that we might be operating. It was very, very strange. And they even said that at one point a door opened up and a couple of beings walked off of that craft. They didn't walk up directly to the kids, but they were certainly close enough that all the kids, the teachers, everybody saw this. It was amazing. I mean, this thing has been on 60 minutes, and that is probably the single most famous incident. But there have been so many others that people have captured. There was a whole group of them over Arizona a few years ago. And just about every state has something that has been reported that they cannot quite determine what it is. And it's fascinating because I developed some of my own theories on what could be happening. And one of the interesting things to me is if you've seen some of these videos where these things are moving and then all of a sudden they take off at an incredible speed. And the questions they're asking now about those videos, and I give them credit for even asking these questions now, because 30 years ago they wouldn't. They would have just tried to explain it away and keep the general public as far away from it as they possibly could. But the way these things are described as maneuvering, and you can see in these videos that this thing will stop and it'll take off and it'll stop on a dime, move around very, very strangely. And in some cases, they're sitting there and within a nanosecond, they're gone. And uh there wasn't a sound, there wasn't any kind of a chemtrail behind the thing, which kind of led some people to wonder are those things really getting away at an enormous amount of speed, or are they dipping into and out of another dimension? That has become a working theory with some of these scientists. They're not saying that's what they believe it is, they're saying that it is interesting that when they look at this, what appears to be something moving at an incredible rate of speed that is not really visible to the naked eye might not be something going off on speed alone. It might actually be disappearing into something another dimension. And that gets into portals, and that gets into black holes. And what we do know about black holes and portals, well, we don't really know much about portals because there is no scientific evidence that a portal exists. Although there are things that people have talked about. Clearly, some people do believe that the world is made up of different dimensions, and every so often it is possible for these dimensions to cross paths. And but whether or not that's true, it seems a little far-fetched to me, but it does make sense that you see something in the sky, and then literally in the blink of an eye, it's gone. Now, surely it can't get away that quickly. It's possible, but it does leave open the possibility that this thing disappeared into wherever it came from. In other words, another dimension. And that is becoming more and more popular with people. And government employees who at one time were told you cannot talk about this under any circumstances. There was a huge hubbub with that Chicago thing. They didn't want, you know, the airlines immediately jumped in. They didn't want their pilots doing television interviews, you know, TV crews were not allowed to go talk to the tower or anything like that because they didn't want, you know, to start some sort of hysteria that they never could have gotten under control. But I mean, it did happen in broad daylight, and and and it was witnessed by hundreds, if not thousands, of people. But this this theory of interdimensional travel. Now, again, black holes exist, and there are theories on what the black holes may be, but they are not showing that there's any evidence that these black holes could be used as a traversable portal. Uh it could be, but they say there's absolutely no experimental or scientific evidence for extra spatial dimensions. So, in other words, they're saying right now that yes, it might appear that way, but we don't have any evidence to back that up. What we do know about portals and black holes, black holes do exist. They merge and they emit gravitational waves. And these gravitational waves are so incredibly strong that a beam of light cannot even escape. That's why they're called black holes, because there's nothing there. If something is emanating a light from somewhere, it will not come through and be seen in the black hole. Now, what we do not know is what happens in those black holes is information destroyed. Uh, one of the big questions is can you survive entering a black hole? What most scientists will tell you now is that no, it is physically impossible to survive an exposure to a black hole because it would, it compresses matter so much that anything that might enter it, uh, they call it something, uh, what is the process you know that they call it that it would spaghettify. Yeah, spaghetti, you know, that it would spaghettify whatever was in there, whether that be a human, whether it be some other type of being or some sort of a spacecraft, it it would spread it out, it would spread it out so much because of the pressure that would be on that. So again, very interesting, but if you've ever seen the movie Interstellar with Matthew McConaughey, I have come to believe, and this movie that I just recently saw touches on what I believe could be very, very possible because we don't have evidence of extraterrestrial beings beyond what's been written, what's been photographed, what people are saying. Uh now, even though people still say to this day, and former government employees still Say that not only do we have some of these beings, but that some are alive and that we work with them and that they're helping us with our technology, that they're actually working in conjunction with our government. Now, of course, the government would never admit to anything like that. But the fact that they're still hesitant to say anything really makes me wonder why. Why, why, if it's nothing to worry about and you're able to prove that it's nothing to worry about, why aren't you talking about it? And they're not. They're just playing the denial game. And, you know, the clearances that you have to have to know some of that information. But clearly our government does know a heck of a lot more than what they're telling us. I mean, that that is, I don't, I don't care who you are or what you believe. And if a government representative wants to call me and say we don't know anything, that's a lie. We all know it's a lie. We have seen enough over the years and the decades to know something is going on. And our government is well aware of it. But something that I have been thinking about for a long time, I've read a couple of books, and I'm wondering, especially when you hear reports of people saying, yeah, our government actually works with these beings, and that's how we have been able to create some of our technology, like our stealth bomber technology, something that can fly and not be detected by radar. A lot of people believe that is the result of technology that was taught to us by extraterrestrial beings. But what if, if that's true, why does it have to be extraterrestrial? And when you look at movies like Signs, for example, you know, the Mel Gibson movie where you actually see these beings and they actually come into his home and they have to try that they're all portrayed the same way as being human-like in that they walk upright, they have arms, they have legs, they have a head, they have these large eyes. Um but we have seen this depiction. So how do we know that those things are or are not extraterrestrial? Is it possible that these beings and these things that we're seeing are nothing more than our own technology from the future? I mean, it very advanced technology that we were able to create in the future. And the way these beings physically looked was the way that they adapted to maybe a new atmosphere or any changes that happened in the atmosphere, and that that is simply the way humans evolve in the future in order to sustain life here. And the reason that they keep coming here is because they know what's going on down here. They know what we're capable of, they know about the nuclear, the nuclear technologies, they know about the bombs, they know about the weapons, they know about the wars. And who's to say that they are not so incredibly afraid of losing their society way into the future that that's why they're coming here? So they can try and prevent things or report on things, or at the very least, just keep a watchful eye over all these things to make sure that we don't do anything crazy, like start a nuclear war and destroy the whole thing, which might endanger their existence later in the future. And honestly, that makes much more sense to me than anything else. But I also happen to believe that are we alone? I don't see how. In this vast universe, and there are still galaxies out there that we don't know anything about yet, but in this vast universe, I find it hard to believe that we could be the only intelligent life out there. And underline that word intelligent, because if we are, then that speaks volumes about the universe. If we are the only intelligent life out there, the future's doomed. But if it's simply us in the future evolving both physically and technologically to the point where in the future we have the capability of going back in time, time travel, through some kind of a portal. And again, there's no scientific evidence to prove these portals exist, but a lot of people do believe that they exist. And that there are many different dimensions, and it just depends on which one you go to. So there's there's so much for the believer, and there's an equal amount even for the non-believer. I'm not saying that that's what I believe these things are, us in the future, and the crafts that we see is the result of our enhanced technology thousands of years into the future. I'm not saying that is. I'm also not saying it isn't, and I'm also not discounting the idea of extraterrestrials. I mean, we we we've only scratched the surface of what's out there. They're already learning with the Mars rover and other telescopes that they have used over the years, that Mars, for example, there is evidence to indicate that there might have been some kind of life on Mars way back when. I mean, what, you know, like Star Wars, you know, millions and millions of years ago, uh, that is possible. They're finding strange things on Mars. They're finding strange things on Jupiter, they're finding strange things related to the moons that Jupiter orbits. So there's an awful lot out there. Whether or not they are extraterrestrial, I don't know. But the only reason I don't think that's necessarily true is why have they never attacked? Why have they never shown any kind of aggression, like they're gonna take over the planet? Which is why, in my mind, it makes more sense that maybe this is nothing more than us in the future using the technology that we have developed over the decades and the centuries. And they're trying to maintain their society, and it requires them to be here to try and put a stop to anything that could jeopardize their future. I know that's a little deep, but that does make sense to me when you wonder and you see movies like War of the Worlds, where these things attack because uh, you know, they've used up all the resources and and and they move from planet to planet. And as soon as all the resources have been consumed, they move on to the next planet. I mean, that's possible. You know, Independence Day, that that that is possible, but it hasn't happened yet. We haven't seen anything, even with these stories of people seeing these beings coming out of these crafts that are almost always described as very oddly shaped. And the most important characteristic is the fact there's no noise whatsoever. Absolute dead silence. There are no chemtrails. Now, there is a video that's circulating from something that was spotted, I don't know if it was over Arizona, but it was some cylindrical thing that was vertical. You know, from it had a top and it had a bottom, and and and it was cylindrical. And as it moved, it almost looks like the air behind it is disturbed, meaning that it's leaving a trail of some kind. But if they have, it it it hasn't been detected yet. But people do report almost inevitably every time, these things do not make a sound. And they have different light patterns and things like that that again don't make any noise. But the patterns that they demonstrate don't really make any sense. And but anyway, it is it, I think it's a great thing that the government is finally coming out and at least open to the possibility of talking to the general public and saying, yeah, we we we we do still have a few cases that we really just don't know. And to their credit, they're not saying one way or the other. They're certainly not saying that, yeah, it's extraterrestrial. And they're certainly not saying it isn't extraterrestrial. The fact is, they're saying they really just don't know that it is unusual. And yes, these things have happened in front of hundreds and thousands of people in places all over the world. I mean, not just here in the United States, but there are sightings all over the world of these things. So, but the fact that nothing aggressive has happened, at least to our knowledge, I find it hard to believe unless it is a race of extraterrestrials who are just so curious about what we're doing down here that they are they're fascinated. And they are keeping an eye on things to make sure that maybe we don't go too far. Um, but it's it's not that they're angry or anything like that. They're just fascinated by what we do here on Earth. And maybe they're trying to figure that out. They're trying to document it, they're trying to figure it all out. So it's either extraterrestrial or it's us in the future. I mean, I think it's one of the two. I think the days of denying that there are extraterrestrials or beings or strange ships out there that have come from other places, I think the days of denying that are over because I think enough has happened that certainly leaves the possibility open that anything is still possible. The extraterrestrials could be out there. We could have alien spacecraft out there, but it it's a very good thing that the government is now at least talking about it and they've established a formal way of being able to report. Again, the general public doesn't really have a way to do that, but they are working on that. I mean, the general public can call, you know, if if there's something near an Air Force base somewhere or some sort of military base and something is happening, more often than not, these military bases, their phones go absolutely nuts. And people are asking, what is that in the sky? And the only thing that they can really say is, well, we haven't seen anything yet. We're not seeing anything on our radar, but we're looking into it. But again, it's there. And they're getting hundreds of calls from people saying, What the hell is that up there? And when you look at the way it's moving, something is wrong here. Something is not right about the way that thing is moving. The whole thing is just very fascinating. But Interstellar, the movie with Matthew McConaughey, does touch on that working theory, or I guess it really isn't a theory at this point. It's really more a hypothesis than it is anything else. That what if that is in fact us in the future, and we're trying to prevent certain things from happening in our lifetime that could completely destroy the existence of future generations. And the reason I say that Interstellar is such a great example of that, because Matthew McConaughey, when he goes on this mission, his daughter is very, very young. I think she's like nine or ten years old. And her whole life after he leaves, because he's going on a mission that's going to be very far away, and and time is going to pass before they get back. Quite a bit of time is going to pass. Yet the story centers around his daughter, who claims that ever since she was about nine years old, there's something in her room that she calls the ghost that moves things around and tries to communicate. Uh, and I don't want to spoil the movie for you. If you haven't seen it and you want to see it, but you should watch it. And it will make you think differently about uh extraterrestrial alien beings versus us in the future. Because it does touch on that. And when all of that is explained in that movie, you find yourself going, okay. If that's true and if that's even possible, let's just say that was an actual story. That would lend quite a bit of credibility. Again, if you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend that you do. But if you have seen it, it it does touch on that. And it could be something very, very significant that could have a huge impact on our future as a planet, and maybe our future somewhere else, other than Earth. You know, they're talking about building uh space stations on Mars, on the moon. So maybe, and the the physical form that humans have to take is all dependent on what they have to adjust to, depending on where they are, what the atmosphere's like, what the conditions are like, what the weather conditions are like, whether or not there's water, uh, and if there is water, is it the same type of water that we have here on Earth? Are there oceans with salt water? What is it? But that movie does open the possibility, and I really do think that that's something that we need to look harder at is what we're seeing and what we believe to be out there. Is it just us or is it something extraterrestrial? And I don't want to say nefarious, because again, at no time, all of these reports, at no time has anybody reported anything aggressive. I mean, you've had some people report that they were abducted and that they lost um two hours of time and they don't know what happened. They remember stopping the car, looking and seeing some lights, and then all of a sudden they're back in their car, but they hurt, you know, they have pain, they feel strange, um, you know, whatever. But it's it's gonna be very interesting over the course of time to see exactly where we go with this. But I am becoming more and more of the school that you know what this very easily could be us in the future trying to prevent something catastrophic during our lifetime, which could greatly impact future generations, if not make future generations impossible. So we just don't know. But it's something to look at. And if you do see something in the air, you should report it. There used to be a stigma, you know, associated with it that uh, you know, that if you report it, oh, guy's crazy. Yeah, the guy's absolutely crazy. Yeah, we saw that. It wasn't cylindrical, it didn't, it didn't look like a flying saucer, but then again, you have you have photos now and you have videos, which make it impossible for the government to deny. They have to look into it at this point, and not just here, but they're also working on this in other countries. Great Britain has been involved with this for a very long time, I believe almost the same time that we have, going back to the 1940s, maybe even a little bit earlier than that. But it's fascinating to think about, and what really is more fascinating is what we are going to be learning in the future and what we're going to be seeing. And hopefully, at some point in time, the whole thing will end with us seeing something to indicate, wow, we were right, or we were dead wrong, or it turns out to be something that we never even imagined possible. Think about that. And we might do an update on this episode at some point. But in the meantime, just think about it. That's gonna do it for this edition of The Truth Behind the Truth.
