A reflective conversation on what it truly means to “be born again” — not as a religious achievement, but as an awakening into a deeper awareness of love, grace, and connection to the divine within us. At the heart of this episode is the idea that we are never truly separate, even when life feels heavy or confusing. Again and again, we are invited to return inward, to rest, to listen, and to allow ourselves to be lifted up, beyond fear, striving, and the constant noise of the mind. It’s a deeply human conversation about grace, healing, awareness, and the quiet transformation that happens when we stop trying so hard and begin to trust the presence already carrying us.
A new clarity on what it means to be “born from above”  emerges and no longer feel distant or mysterious, but something deeply personal, alive, and already unfolding within us.

Hello and welcome to our Journey to Truth podcast. I'm Maura Jennings and I'm your host for this series. Robert is back with us to continue this journey to truth. Robert, thank you for being with us again.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Mara. I'm happy, happy, happy to be here.

SPEAKER_00

Super, super. Now we had um a really great conversation last time, and you ended that conversation by saying that we need to be born again. Now that was a very interesting statement to make. I've heard that said. It's a very biblical statement, and I would really love you to go into that.

SPEAKER_01

I think that's probably a pretty good place to start. Um something comes to mind that I it uh I'd like to share with you. We've talked about it a few times, I think, in the past, but uh this is an actual experience that happened to me 13 years ago. Um, I lived in a little town called Rapid Valley, and uh I was standing on the porch. My son was in the road speaking to talking to the neighbors, and one of my grandsons, four years old, was on the his little trike. It's called a big wheel, big plastic thing, three wheels. And uh he would pedal down the hill and a little dead-end road, and at the end was gravel. And by the time he got to the second house, he would let his feet off the pedals and just go flying and hit the gravel and spin around. And uh that was he just he's a little daredevil, he just was having fun. And uh so at one point in time he comes pie of the house, and I'm I'm constantly watching him, but he goes about a house or two above our house. So now he's a little higher on the heel, he's never been that high. And uh he and I had had conversations about it. Like I was like, I was always like, Ale, you know, I mean, you need to keep your feet on the pedals because if not, you know, you can't hardly stop and control it. Okay, okay, Papa, okay. And uh so this time he comes flying by the house, and it's already too late. I his feet are off the pedals, the wind blowing in his hair, his little cheeks blowing back, absolute fear and dread on his face, and he's just flying. And uh, and I can't see to the bottom of the hill, but my son's standing in the middle of the road with the neighbors, and he looks down there, and evidently my grandson had wiped out, done a flip. And so my son goes running down there and he's barefoot, he runs through the gravel, picks up my grandson, brings him up there, and he's just crying and scraped up and you know, gravel and hurting and in pain. And so he brings him up there and he sets him down the yard. He's just crying, and he runs to me, and immediately I lift him up. I'm like, oh, oh, you know, he's like, Oh, Papa, oh papa, I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you, Papa. He's just crying. I'm like, no, no, no, no, it's okay, it's okay. And I'm kissing him, you know, and wiping the gravel and the dirt out of his face and his forehead, his little elbows, his knees. He had on shorts, you know, and um, so his little legs were scraped up, and he's just crying and squeezing my neck. Oh, I'm so sorry, Papa. I'm so sorry, and I'm just kissing him. And no, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, son. And uh right then the voice spoke to me. I'm I'm loving my grandson, trying to help him out, and the voice inside me said, You must be born again. And uh and I was I became attentive, although I'm still dealing with my grandson, but my my awareness was skyrocketed because I I've always believed I'm born again. I mean, ever since my youth, I said the Lord's Prayer, and and I am, I'm born again. I I have no problem with this, but my awareness goes, I mean, to a higher level. And I'm listening and I'm breaking, you know, brushing the gravel out of him and kissing him, and I set him down, he runs into his mom. I started contemplating that you must be born again. And the whole picture was, and this is what he showed me, when we get out of control and we crash in life, he sends his son to pick us up, and his son brings him to the father. And when he, you know, my son bore him all the way up that hill, and then he set him down, and then once again, I bore him up in my arms. And so I had to go back and restudy that word born again. And before it was interpreted into English, uh, that word born, b-o-r-n, and the word b-o-ur-n-e, born again, and born like lifted up, like being brought up. That's two different words, but in Greek they're simultaneous. When one happens, the other one happens automatically. You're born again, and the scripture says you must be born again. Now, that word must, see that must is something, it's it's must, it must happen. There's no stopping it at all. And when my grandson ran up to me, I must pick him up. I love him so dearly. All my all my grandkids, I love them so beautifully and dearly. They don't have a choice. I've got to lift them up, I've got to love them and hold them and kiss their wounds away. And then, you know, oh papa, I made this mistake. And see, in life, we do that, Mara. You know, we make mistakes and we crash and we get hurt, and all kind of hell breaks loose in our life, even if it's not our fault. But the son is always there, and he brings us to the father. And the father must, it's his character, his love for us is so great, so intimate and powerful, he must lift us up. And see, it says you must be born from above. In other words, our consciousness has to be risen up in us, and it's not us that does it. All we do is become aware of it, and that's running to the Father. Um, and so you must be born above. And the scripture says, By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourself, it is the gift of God. Now, by grace, it's his grace, it's his love that just lifts us. But it says through faith, and faith is the gift. And you and I discussed a little on faith, but faith comes by hearing. You know, you hear, and that lifts you. Every time you hear, and we hear with our awareness, and every time we hear, we're lifted. And especially if it's something to do, like, hey, go talk to that person, or hey, rearrange your schedule, or you know, anything just gentle that he says, I think you should turn left instead of right, and you're aware of that, he may save you from danger or something. We don't know how it works, but uh that's kind of the idea about being born again. It's not us praying, trying to get to God, and that's where we kind of in a way uh screwed up, I guess, because we want to get to God, we want to be born again, we want to be saved, but it is to be lifted into the higher consciousness by him, and it must happen. Does that does that make sense to you a little bit?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, it's um so it must happen by love. It must happen because that's the nature of the father, and the nature of the father, no matter what, because of the nature, will lift us up. Is that correct, Robert?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, ma'am. Yeah, that's it. See, there was the the greatest one of the greatest teachers of that time, Nicodemus, he came to Jesus. And then three, I do believe it's in Matthew, but he came to Jesus three different times throughout those scriptures. The first, now think about this first. Let's set the picture. Nicodemus was one of the greatest teachers of the Sanhedrin or in the Sanhedrin, one of the greatest teachers of the Jewish tradition. All the people had to come to them, that say it's like the Pope or the you know, the pastor of a big church or whatever, and all the people come to them for advice and listening for scriptures and all this. So this man had it down. He's a worshiper of God, he's a teacher of God. They kept all the laws and did everything they could to get to God, but yet, and so he had to come to by night to Jesus because this Jesus is a new feller, you know, on the scene that and he's not part of the religious order. And if he would have gone to him and just sat down and had regular conversations, he would have put his own reputation in danger. You know, people are like, Oh, he's going to that man, Jesus, you know. Um, so he came by night. Uh, the word night is really, you know, significant too, because he came in the darkness. Now, this is a guy that knew scripture, he knew everything that you could possibly know. He probably grew up from his youth, he knew everything. And so, you know, he he's like, he's talking to Jesus, and Jesus says, You must be born again. You know, and right away his mental mind says, What? You know, do we enter back into our mother's womb and be born again? How does this happen? You know, and he was confused, he didn't quite understand it. And uh, but to be born again is not to be born from the womb again, it's to be lifted by something greater than us. There's got to be a greater love, a greater understanding. And the second time, uh, he was, I believe they were in the temple, and these uh other priests and everyone, they were angry about this man named Jesus. And so Nicodemus kind of stood up for him. He's like, Is it uh proper in our law to judge a man, you know, basically before we've heard him? And so he was taking up for Jesus, and so to speak. But the very third time Nicodemus is mentioned, it was after Jesus' death. And Nicodemus was so convinced this was Messiah, he went and bought a hundred pounds of myrrh to anoint the man, and he did it publicly, like no shame. And I guess a hundred pounds of myrrh back then was like so expensive. He probably had to go to all the villages that sold myrrh just to get enough of it, because I'm sure one little, you know, vendor probably didn't have enough. Um, so in our walk, you know, we start out, there's there's always three phases with God, but we start out in the darkness and our mind is just not clear. But we pray the prayers, Jesus help me and all that. And we might even be a little embarrassed or shamed at first because you know, you can't go to your family and say, hey, I'm a Christian, or I received Jesus as my savior and all that. But then as you grow and you listen to the man and you listen to the message, your faith grows. And our faith grows and grows and grows, and then one day we enter into that death, and that death brings us our resurrection. And so to be born again, Mara, is not something we do, it is the gift of God, it is an absolute love, and he and every one on the human, every human on the planet has that opportunity because it's his love, his grace. He created mankind. We didn't create him, although there's an old saying, did we create God or did God create us? Um, but does uh does that uh help a little bit?

SPEAKER_00

I love these conversations with you, Robert, because you know Nicodemus in the Bible, and that's very famous, you must be born again. And that conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus is well known. And you know, even Nicodemus, fully established in in scripture, had didn't know these things. He couldn't get there, he had to be lifted up into that awareness himself. And I was also thinking about your you know, your grandson, because he came to you when you lifted him up, he said, sorry, Papa, sorry, Papa, I should have listened to you. So it's almost like you know, we know what we should do. We don't listen. We always we avoid what's true, we hear the voice, we not always obedient, we don't even know we're hearing it, but we know that we make mistakes and we we know that we turn away. Um and it doesn't matter how often that we don't listen, your grandson didn't listen to you and he fell, he tumbled, he scraped himself, he got himself into trouble, but he was still lifted up, and that's just so beautiful that even when we don't listen, even when we go our own way, even when we do things of our own effort, we can still be lifted up. There are no mistakes that will prevent that lifting up to happen. We, as you said, we all have the opportunity to be born again, and it doesn't matter what has happened, what has passed, what we've done, what we haven't done, you know, it doesn't matter how much time has gone by, it doesn't matter what age we are, the opportunity in every moment is there.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, ma'am. And see, it doesn't matter where you're at in the world and what religion you have, has nothing to do with religion. Nicodemus came with the most advanced religious mind of their time, probably. He was the top of the top, but he couldn't get past his thinking mind, his religious mind. He just couldn't figure it out. Could you imagine? This would be so fun. You know, we're walking around with Jesus, you know, we're his disciples, we're out walking around wherever he goes every day, talking to him, being with him, and just think sitting down at nighttime around these little campfires and having these kinds of open conversations. And uh it would just be so and one of them said, Master, increase our faith. And he said, and now instead of increasing their faith, he said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say unto this sycamine tree, get up and move, and it would have to obey you. Now that that didn't increase their faith, but if and we've been taught, oh, just say to this tree, get up and move, and God will do it for you, and all this, and that's how the church preaches it, you know. Say unto this mountain, get up and move. Well, what I've learned, more, is the word if and might right there. You go back in there, he said, if you had faith, you might be dangerous, because faith is the most powerful substance you can have. See, because all people have faith. We're born with faith, and we have faith in ourselves. We have faith we can do this or faith we can do that. We put that faith on ourselves. And if your faith increases and you have kind of an evil or ugly heart, you know, you might hurt somebody. What if you had powerful faith and you said, I wish you were dead? Boom. You know, uh, so he warns them, you know, you can increase your faith, and God wants us to increase our faith. As a matter of fact, I want to increase our awareness because when you increase your awareness, um, you can hear because we don't hear with our our mental ears, we just don't. We hear with our um awareness, and as we hear with our awareness, if we obey what we hear, and it may just you it's not always go do this or go do that. Sometimes it's just a loving presence of being lifted up, and you can sense yourself being lifted higher and feeling those beautiful arms wrap around you, you know, so to speak. Um and so I would like, okay, another thing his disciples said, I'd like to throw this in there before we get going. Um, you know, one time he they said, Master, will you teach us to pray? And they didn't say, Hey, would you teach us to walk on water? Or could you teach us how to multiply food? You know, you they didn't say, Hey, can you teach us how to get gold out of a fish's mouth or how to raise the sick and the dead? No, they were so curious. They said, Master, could you teach us to pray? Because they saw all the works. Now, the works, Mara, are the added things. All the human picture can see is the added things. We have to see the visual, but that's not what was going on. They knew something special about this guy. This was the master. And it wasn't that he was doing miracles, although they wanted to perform miracles, but instead of saying that, they said, Could you teach us to pray? Now he already said, Of my own self, I can do nothing, right? So to teach them to pray, and we know by what we've talked about before, pray is sitting in a silence, waiting for the master to speak, the Holy Spirit, what you want to call God or consciousness. And when it speaks or moves in you, that's prayer. Then the added things come on the outside. It might be a healing, it might be money, it might be multiplication of food, it might be, you know, anything, it could be anything, and something so small. It could be a friend of yours calling and say, Hey, I get the message, I love it, and I'm I feel like I'm born again, you know, because they heard on their own level. And so he wanted to teach them to pray. And when we pray, it means literally to sat in silence for a few seconds to a few minutes and open your conscious awareness and let the father lift you up higher in consciousness. Does that help?

SPEAKER_00

I really I'm sitting here listening to you, Robert, and I I can feel I can feel exactly what you're saying. It's that lifting up, it's from the in, it's the invisible presence. And then when the invisible presence lifts you up and you listen, you unite with that, and then from there, the manifestation of the invisible is the added things in the outer world. So the only place to really ever be is to be seated from in the source, in what we call God, is to be seated in that presence because from there everything is given and nothing is lacking. But if we try and do it of our own efforts, we toil, we struggle, we effort, you know, and it can never be pleasant. But sitting in the silence, connected, having been lifted up, all things are possible. I actually really feel and understand that. I mean, and even as you even as we're as you were speaking, I was thinking, you know, it your message that you're sharing with us, because as you're speaking, I feel as if I'm being lifted up right now into a higher understanding. I feel as if something inside of me is listening to that voice that is not outside of me because it's only there's only one. So as I'm listening to you, I feel I'm being lifted up. And that's really the purpose of these conversations. It occurred to me as you were speaking that this is the whole purpose of you and I coming on here, having these conversations, sharing them, and you know, as people listen, that they will be lifted up in some way. And it's and it's not just a lifting up one time, is it Robert? It's uh it's a it's a constant opening of our awareness, it's a constant, you know, shifting. You never stay stagnant, it's it's it's always moving, it's always been lifted up. Is that correct? It's not just one time.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes, I'm glad you mentioned that. I'm glad you mentioned it. Rest. See, the Bible says Jesus sat down, he's at rest, and for the body, we must be at rest. But you're right, see, because in that same experience I had, you're right. Because when he said you must be born again, and then the words again and again and again and again kept going through me and again. It's not a one time being lifted up. What if your parents only lifted you one time as a child? Oh my gosh, you'd probably grow up, you know, completely unaware of any kind of touch or love or emotion, you know. Um, but our parents lifted us and lifted us until, you know, basically we got too heavy to lift. Uh, but he's always there to lift us up, and we have to listen. It's line upon line. Every time we're lifted, he gives us a new understanding, a little brighter understanding, a little uh more love. And then and then that becomes our nature. When Jesus said, In my name, you'll cast out devils, heal the sick. The name in scripture only means nature, it means nature. So people go around in the name of Jesus, I heal you. Well, if you're not walking in the nature, then you missed his message. But if his nature is conscious awareness of the father, then that's all you know. That's that's what he said. I of my own self, I do nothing, and everything I say is of the father. I of my own self. I uh uh you're looking at a flesh man trying to think it's the flesh man. And so with prayers, you know, we go to God, please help do this. You know, God, I really need this money, I really need your help right here. That kid's suffering right there. Well, those are sacrifices. And he said he's not pleased with our sacrifices because there's a finished work. He's only pleased with the consciousness, the blood of Jesus. He's only pleased with what he did and not what we're trying to accomplish. That's why I said we got to get away from our mental prayers and enter into the conscious awareness of being lifted up. And uh, I want to, you know, we always want something to do. We always I'm gonna give us something to do. Okay. And uh, because we get in the silence, and if we do it for a few seconds to a few minutes, it's gonna help. Now, the mind wants something to do, so I'm gonna give your mind something to our mind, not yours, our mind something to do, uh, if it ever gets rattled. Okay, I want you to just sit with me for a second and envision all of us walking down the road, everywhere, everywhere you see a human, and imagine this little string coming out of the out of your spine, out of the top of your head, all the way up into heaven. And let's just say that's our connection to consciousness. Now, the awareness is in us. So every time you get in a problem, use your mind and think of that little string as, because this will give your mind something to do instead of your problem. You take your mind immediately to your little string, you know, invisible string going straight into heaven, above the clouds, into the firmament of consciousness or Christ, the resting place. And just let your awareness soak it up. It's like pouring through there, it's lifting you higher. And as we grow in this, let's let that little line go a little wider. Like now, now it's about as wide as a garden hose. And as we're aware of this, this is how it grows. This is how it grows. I'm gonna let you know the absolute how I'm aware that it grows. The more I'm aware of that little line, that little awareness connected to the Heavenly Father, connected to consciousness. And when he speaks or moves or gives me that emanation, no matter what it is, I'm aware of it. And then I look for the added thing on the outside. It could be a conversation. It could be anything, any of the added things. And if I can recognize the added thing, maybe somebody complimented me, or maybe I was supposed to compliment them. Who knows? Any kind of, but you know it's added, it's spontaneous. It ain't something you planned, it's an added thing. You become aware of the added thing that's increasing your faith because you were aware that you received something. You received what is it? Mana from heaven. You don't know what it is. It's manna from heaven. You receive that. And every time you're aware of what shows up in your life, that little hose, that little line grows. Now let's think about this. Our awareness is there like daily, because you have to have manna daily. So every day we have to sit in that silence, that presence until we feel that emanation of the love that lifted me just for a few seconds. Then I can go about my day. Or if during the day I don't feel good, do it again. And he'll lift you and lift you. That's running to the papa, that's running to him on the inside. So now we're so aware of that. Now let's let that little garden hose now let it grow to the size of, say, a fireman's hose. And now you're lifted up. Now you're more aware. All you want to do now, there's problems, but now you're you're being so flooded with being lifted up. Your consciousness is growing. And now let's let that thing grow to like the size of our body. And now you're walking in the light. You got a beam of light. Your consciousness is wide now. You're you're not even really connected. As a matter of fact, your thoughts get further and further away. You're so aware of this beaming light. Now, and some people call it the aura or whatever. But now let's let's say that let's say it's three, four, five, six, maybe ten feet around you. Your your light, your understanding, your precious, precious lifting is so now you're walking down the road and someone walks through your consciousness, they receive something unaware. They get lifted up. That's like you said, we're having this conversation, and you can be you're lifted up in this conversation. Why? Because our our awareness is there, and there I am right in the midst. And now just think if we sat there, Mara, and then two or three of us get together, we're walking down the road, think of how big our circle would be. And we don't have to talk to people and tell them and witness and try to get them born again. No, our shadow, the shadow of our truth. When this moment they come into our consciousness, something shifts in them, whether they're aware of it or not. And that's why when people come to us and say, Hey, could you lift me up? Sure, you know, sure, that sure, that's that. Oh my gosh, yes, I would love to. If I was your right there with you and I had the strength, I'd lift you up physically and hug you and embrace you. Um, but yes, our consciousness being on higher and higher levels, more aware of what Christ is doing, he's the one feeding that umbilical cord to us. Does that make sense to you?

SPEAKER_00

That's a that's a beautiful analogy. And as you were going through that, I had my eyes closed and I was picturing that. And um, and that really is the rest, because once you know where everything comes from, then that that connection, and I do love that word father, you know, because there is a it's symbolic when you're connected to the source, and you know that that's where all all goodness comes from. There, that's that's the whole, nothing is lacking from there. And if you if we understand that our source of all goodness, of everything comes from that source, we can just rest. Another biblical phrase, you know, in him we live and move and have our being, and that makes so much more sense now because we are moving in that and we're never disconnected, we're never alone, and that whole you know, feeling of being separate is so it's such anguish. And this brings me back to the conversation we had about um, you know, the anguish of Christ in in the garden. It is anguish to feel separate, and but to be lifted up and to know that you've always been lifted up, there is such a um a rest in that. It's a beautiful feeling, it's a beautiful sense. It's just it shifts everything. If we could really not you know, not understand it intellectually, but really rest in that and allow that to fill our being and allow that, even that knowing. And as you said, faith is the most powerful, powerful substance, and in that faith be lifted up and allow the faith which is given, which is a gift, to increase, then we can never feel separate again once that's really um understood and known.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you can't see that's and that's why he says, uh, you know, like you said, uh in him we live and move and have our being. And and that's where, oh my gosh, that's just the rest, I'm telling you. And he said, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We abide under that beaming shadow of his lifting, his love, his grace. And so all hell could be breaking loose around us. A thousand will file at one side, ten thousand at the other side, but it won't come nigh your dwelling. Why? Because you're in a secret place, it can't find you. Storms can't find you, uh, wars can't find you, things can't find you. Why? Because you're not there. You're dwelling in a secret place, the most holy place, the awareness of the silent place. And that is communion, that is the real prayer, that's the real understanding. And then if there's things needed, he's like, Oh, I already know. Uh son, I know your need before you ask. So you will find gold in a fish's mouth, or you will multiply. You know, you go somewhere and you got to feed somebody, and the money will just be there, or you'll you'll have extra lunch. I've done that many times. There's so many times I have taken off my jacket in the middle of the road and handed it to this stranger. I just done that all my life. And people thought, you know, and my sisters, you know, they know one of them went out and bought me another jacket. It's like, you always give them away. Here's you another one, you know. And uh, when my grandfather died many, many years ago, he had this jacket he always wore was a um just a denim jacket, had the white wool with the white collar, white, and it was just a beautiful manly jacket. And uh, and uh when he passed away, he wanted me to have it because I always loved it. And uh my mother gave it to me. She goes, you know, dad, I always wanted you to have this. And I loved it, I wore it every way. And one winter I was downtown, and this this poor guy was just freezing to death, just setting on the you know, poor homeless guy. I had such compassion for him. I had to give him Papa's jacket. And uh that's what we do. Because I was hearing from the father, I was I was in that secret place. That jacket was just an item, you know, and I'm not sentimental about any items because I've lost them so many times. I have no faith in items at all, nothing in this world, and uh that secret place that's where we have to dwell. So if your mind needs something to do, and I'm against letting the mind do anything, but he said, let your mind think on these things. And Jesus gives us some things in the New Testament to think about. He said, set your mind on things above, joy, peace. He he mentioned several of them, love, compassion, uh, you know, it's called the fruits of the spirit, virtue, and set your mind on those things. So if you have to think, that's what he says, if you have to think, think on those things.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and uh Paul that reminded me of uh the apostle Paul, he said, pray without ceasing, and that's this that's a similar thing.

SPEAKER_01

It is, it's the awareness, Mara. We uh once our awareness grows and grows and grows, and then I I assure you, talking to you right now, my awareness is so open, I just feel this encampment and circle of love and peace and harmony. And these are the kind of conversations they sat around with the master. They had these warm, beautiful conversations, and he was so loving and tender and open, all their questions, and it didn't matter. Every now and then he had to get onto a couple of them, maybe for saying the wrong thing. Uh, but for the most part, it was like so gentle and so peaceful, they could ask the master of the whole universe, God incarnate these things, and they're written down in scripture, but they had to be written in natural terms, and so we try to interpret them in natural terms, and we try to, you know, you must be born again, you got to get to heaven, you're gonna go to hell, and all the things that man's delusion, you know, tries to interpret. The most loving spiritual message ever written is the whole Bible. It is so spiritual from beginning to end, it's not a carnal book, it is a book written by wise people who heard from the spirit, their consciousness was open. It's it must be spiritually discerned, and that means consciously open and aware of what the Father's teaching.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm getting I'm beginning to understand more and more how um amazing the Bible is, and even just the way certain things are written in there, just the way it's written, even though my mind can't understand it, something in me is picking up uh the the aliveness of the words. So if if it's not fully understood, which for me, so much of the Bible is very cryptic, but even that phrase I just said, pray without ceasing, something in me knows what that means. My mind can't get it, but something in me knows what that means. And I think there's always a part of us when we begin to sort of go down this path and start to trust ourselves and our awareness opens up. We understand that we don't understand, but on another level, we understand something, and it it's not always possible to get it because what this things from the spirit are invisible, so it takes time for us to shift from the gross reality of things and touch and feel and the senses to fine-tuning our awareness to the invisible part of us, the greater part of us that's not manifest from where all things come. So it's a tuning. Is would I be right in saying that, Robert? That you do it's a fine-tuning that happens over time, but it's always there, but we're not aware of it.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent. You're you're correct. Just think about this. Uh, you start to play a new instrument. You get a child or anyone, they start playing a new instrument, and it just sounds god-awful. I mean, you know, but they're there, they're the more they practice, the more they practice. And pretty soon they got it, and then they're in their middle stage where they can make music sound good, but they hit a bad note every now and then. But then when they got it, they're masters of that music, that musical instrument, even singing, whatever it is. We always start out in the three phases. You know, it's like any story, it has a beginning and an ending, but it also has the middle part uh that tells the story. And so starting out with you know, with this conscious awareness for people who must be born again. Don't you sweat it. Don't you sweat it. You just take your consciousness, take this little mental thing I gave you, start being aware of that little connection between you and the Father. Just that that's all that's all you have to do, is just be aware of the connection because you already have consciousness in you. That's the life of God. Even scientists say when the person dies, something leaves their body that keeps it alive. It's called spirit consciousness, whatever you know they can name it. Uh, so if you've never even heard of Jesus and you're in the East somewhere, if you can get this kind of message and just for a few seconds at a time, become aware of your conscious connection. That's it. Use your mind for that, and it will grow. You'll tune it and you'll tune it and you'll grow it. And pretty soon you'll be so aware of the consciousness silence, the consciousness connection that that's more. I'm telling you, it gets to the point that's all you want. You don't want regular conversations. You got you literally have to come out of that consciousness to have a physical conversation with people about the weather, about their job, about their career, about being saved. And so you literally, and that's why Jesus had to lower himself. He literally had to lower his consciousness because it was at such a high level, and they weren't ready. You know, he said, I have things to tell you, you're not ready to hear, you know, and so it is a beautiful story, and like I always tell you, it's his story, but it's our story. You know, if we're in him, it's our story. We're his body, and that's what he tells us. It's our body. And if we can all take our place in that body, if we can, if we can enter into that, you know, when he said, uh, remember me, just take your member, your conscious awareness, and remember, get right in. You be the member, and and wherever you're at in that location, you're the member of the body. I'm across the big pond and I'm a member of the body over here, you know. And just think if we can awake Christ in the world, this sleeping man in people, we don't need to have wars, we need to have awareness, and that settles the wars, it's the added thing.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. And I was just going back again to the very beginning of our conversation where your grandson got lifted up, and and it's as you said, it's not a one-time thing, but once we understand what happens and how how we are always connected, and when our awareness fine-tunes to that connection, that we get born again all the time. So, because the nature of the father lifts us up, that the one that got lifted up is no longer the same as the one that was before the lifting up. So, when we get lifted up, our nature has shifted, we've reached a higher level without and I know higher is the wrong word, but we've we've taken on a different nature already. And when the lifting up happens again and again and again, the the one that was there before is has died, and it's a new person in that lifting up. But once we become aware of it, then we want to turn nowhere except to the source and to be continually lifted up, and the the beauty in that lifting up, the joy in that lifting up, the understanding of what that lifting up is, then and for me, you know, I find myself less and less the thoughts are still there, the worries still come, the mind still plays, you know, it's um its story, the narrative is still going, but more and more I just let it pass like clouds in the sky, and I and I kind of smile, and I'm not pulled in as often because I I know where I need to look, and that is the beauty that happens, is that nothing really changes, but the changes happen on the inside, and on the inside it's it's a whole different world, and there's a sense of peace and a calm that comes and a knowing, so that you can then just as the thoughts come, you can just go, that's not true. You understand that it's just a story, and instead you turn inwards and you let yourself be lifted up and you wait for the lifting up, and in that waiting, there is rest, there is joy, there's no striving, and um, and it doesn't mean that it's continuous because of course we step down, but we will get lifted up again. And when you know that you're always going to be lifted up, there's no fear.

SPEAKER_01

Right, right. And then eventually it grows and grows, and it's so simple to step out of it in the human. But think getting back to my grandson a few days later, he guess what? Papa, look at this, look at this scar on my elbow, look at this, oh, look at my knees, Papa, and my forehead. And he's now he's got paddle scars and he's got growth. But now, when my little grandson comes flying down the hill, since he's got growth and experience, he'll give me one, he'll like take one hand off his little steering wheel, give me a thumbs up, big old grin. And uh, because he learned now to keep his feet on the pedals and now he can enjoy. And what's cool is now he can do little spins in the middle of the road as he's going down. He doesn't have to wait for the bottom with all that speed, and now he's just enjoying life. And that's uh that's kind of what happens to us, Mark Mar. As as we grow and we do have battle scars, and you know, speaking of the battle scars, the apostle Paul he went through all his battles, and you know what he said, I considered all dung. And if you look up that word dung in America, it means S-H-I-T. All his learning, uh his mo he knew the Bible more than anyone. He was a great teacher, leader of their sect. I mean, this guy knew everything. You could not find a more religious man at that point. This guy really loved God, he sought with his whole heart, mind, and everything. And when it right came right down to it, he said, All my learning is dung. Think about how gross that is. That's what the mind is. It's dung to God, it's nothing. And uh, so we grow, we get our experiences. Yes, we get hurt, we get broken, we get bruised. Life don't treat us right. Well, if we can get an awareness of the father lifting us right out of that dung, that pile of heap we created, oh, life just gets better.

SPEAKER_00

Amazing. I really loved what we spoke about today because you made it so simple, Robert. And that's you know, that's a gift that you've got. You've got a way of presenting it in such simplicity and with such love, actually. And in that combination, a real clarity comes forth. And I do believe that anyone who listens to this message will now understand what it means to be born again, to be lifted up, to be born from above. Because the lifting up happens in a way from above. It's it's it's an above just means from a higher, a higher understanding, a higher awareness, a higher consciousness. So it's not above us and something we have to reach to. It's already within us. That higher understanding is already within us, and it's not something we have to reach for, it's not something we have to go to, it's not something we're separate from in distance or time, but it's already within us. Would you just kind of finish us with that? You know, just give us a little bit of a deeper understanding on the fact that it's already within us and it's not something we have to effort to get to, and just close us out with that, Robert.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would love to. Uh, because what comes to mind right now, you know, at the very end of the most holy book in the world, it said, New Jerusalem's coming down out of heaven. And see, it's not the physical heaven like we think. It's your right, it's that higher consciousness is coming down into our consciousness. The new Jerusalem is us, we're the city of God, we're the house of God, we're the dwelling place. You know, when he said, In my father's house are many mansions, that word mansions means dwellings, it means abode, a place of God, a place where He He rules and reigns, and it's all love. He just rules out of love. That's New Jerusalem in you and me, and that's what we're bringing to earth tomorrow.

SPEAKER_00

Beautiful, Robert. Absolutely beautiful. And I would just want to say again, as always, thank you. I feel deeply touched by today, it certainly um lifted me up. And I I I've often heard you say that there's an emanation that comes when you are in this most holy place, when you live from there, and I feel that emanation. So thank you very much for everything for these beautiful conversations. We will have another one again very soon. We'll go into more mysteries, we'll unravel more of the complexities and make it simpler for our audience. And um, I just wish every one of you that listened to this today that you're all lifted up in a beautiful way and that your understanding is made higher, your awareness is expanded, and that you live in in a state of beautiful um anticipation of the love that you are. Robert, thank you very much for being with us.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you again, Mara, and I'll see you next time.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, see you next time, Robert. Bye bye.

SPEAKER_01

Bye bye.
