Boston’s Night Shift Brewing + Italian Food So Good It Made Dedra Angry

Episode 14 - We’re wrapping up our Boston trip with one last brewery stop, and this one deserves way more time than we gave it. In this episode of The Adam & Dedra Show, we visit Night Shift Brewing in Boston after a full day in Salem, squeeze in a couple beers before closing, take in a beautiful waterfront sunset, and somehow end the night with Italian food so good it makes Dedra angry.

We kick things off with Lunch from Maine Beer Company, a smooth and dangerously easy-drinking 7% IPA, before diving into our quick stop at Night Shift Brewing. Adam tries Double Parked, an 8.5% double IPA, Dedra grabs the hazy Fluffy, and we bring home Pie Scraper, a pumpkin pie ale that sounded amazing but didn’t quite hit the fall dessert dream we were hoping for.

Then it’s off to Boston’s North End for dinner at Quattro, where brick oven pizza, linguini with clams, halibut acqua pazza, wine, fresh bread, and sauce-dipping happiness completely steal the show. We also cover Boston concert crowds, waterfront fishing, weird brewery bathrooms, almost-Uber mistakes, and why Lake Pleasant may only have one tired fish that everyone takes turns catching.

Boston trip. There's one more brewery that I wish we could have spent more time at and we didn't. But that's okay because we still got to drink a beer there. We got to go inside, experience the place, and we did take some cans to go.

So this is true. So hopefully just our quick short experience will allow you guys, if you guys go to Boston, make sure that this is definitely a place that you go and visit.

Yes, yes. So first, um, to kick off the episode, we're drinking a beer from Maine Beer Company called Lunch. It's uh just a standard IPA at 7%. And I haven't had this one before, so cheers.

That's a new one. But uh Stone actually recently just got bought out. So I think they got bought out by Firestone Walker, who is also owned by Duval, a Belgian beer company.

It doesn't matter. So so uh this last brewery, huh?

So lunch, great stuff, by the way. Recommend trying it. Um, found this at a beer bar that we went to not even a week ago. The beer that or the brewery that we went to is night shift brewing out of Boston. And what a really cool place. So we just got off the train from Salem, and if you guys listened last week, this is almost like a continuation of that. So we got off the train, and I'm like, there's this was like almost our last day. We had to fly the next day. I'm like, I know we're not gonna have time to go in the morning, so we have to hit this brewery, and it's like it wasn't that far of a walk. We had to go through just those buildings, and as we walked up, we hit that like brick area because I'm just following the map on my phone. We hit that brick area and then that river. That was cool.

That that was something that I was not expecting to come up, you know, once we kind of reached, oh, we took a picture going through that tunnel, which was super neat, and it was in the evening, so the sunset was gorgeous, and it was just like the beautiful colors and the skies, the reds, the orange, and it was just like such a beautiful sunset. And we definitely took stop took our fair share of pictures. I think we spent more time taking pictures, which I mean, I'm not gonna regret and say, Oh, we shouldn't have taken so many pictures than you know, going inside the brewery. We'll always go the brewery, we will always be there. But those pictures that we took, you know, we can't recreate those with our kids. Yes. Um, because they're getting older and they're not always gonna want to go with us on family vacations like this, especially to a brewery. So very true. I'm glad we took that time and were able to get the pictures and the some badass videos every time.

But the brewery, I mean, it was pretty m amazing, and I wish we had more time. I wish it just was open later because the time we were we s uh stepped out to where that water was, it was just the perfect time of day. Uh, the scenery was just amazing. The river was nice and calm, and it just was absolutely beautiful.

That's the place. And they have seating outside where you can, you know, grab your beer and go outside and enjoy the scenery. Um, had they been open longer, I think that would have been definitely ideal. But was it because just like what day was it that week? Was it uh Tuesday? It was a Tuesday, yep. Okay, and they closed at like what four? I'm just kidding.

Um it was probably like eight o'clock or something, but the the sun hadn't gone down. Um and we took that walk. So we walked walked around the river and then actually had like a bridge almost that went over the water, and they had guys fishing right off that end of the water.

Dedra 5:42

That was so cool. Like I love, I love to go fishing. And when we go to Lake Pleasant, oh that's that's my joke for freaking Lake Pleasant. Okay, so I swear, I should you not, Lake Pleasant has one flipping fish. We all take turns catching the same exact raggedy ass fish, or get skunked. It's it's it's catch and release, and I swear we're catching the same raggedy fish. If if it's our day to catch it, but if you're not releasing that son of a bitch back into the water, you know what? We're all going home.

We're all going home if you're not doing catch and release. So keep that in mind.

We stopped and talked to one of the guys fishing there, and they were catching striper out of there. And it's one of them like, oh, that's that's cool. Not at Lake Pleasant, over at on the river there in Boston. And he uh we're like, Oh, that's really cool. He goes, Yeah, but you can't eat them. And I'm like, Okay. He goes, Yeah, I guess the water's too bad or something. I don't know, maybe had three eyes like that fish from The Simpsons. But taking that little walk, and then we ended up going up the stairs, and there's like a uh another bridge that goes over the water over the river, um, to I think it's towards like where MIT is and uh um what's the big uh Harvard? I think it's uh on that side, more inland. And sitting on top of that bridge there, we walked kind of like halfway up um across it, and in the distance you could see where uh what's that uh the bunker hill, the um Paul Revere Monument or whatever you could see um in the distance, and that was really cool too. We took some pictures of that and uh just being up there and seeing you know just the river down below was was really cool.

And the lights, the lights for the bridge, like they lit the bridge up beautifully. It wasn't just you know yellow lights. I believe they were colored lights, weren't they? Or like a sherben?

Adam 7:43

No, yeah, no, they were colored.

Dedra 7:45

Oh, right.

Adam 7:47

I don't know, you got pictures. No, give me a second. So we went to we went up on there, and then it was like, yeah, we did take our time going there. We knew the brewery was closing, but it was it was just something we we couldn't miss. Um, and I'm actually really surprised because you hiked up those stairs and we had to get back down. And yeah, I think I walked behind you and just like just in case you fell forward, you just push me down the stairs.

Dedra 8:12

Well, again, that was at the end of our trip in Salem. So day of drinking and eating, and that was the last stop before we went back to the hotel. So maybe I was just feeling bright. Maybe I had a little bit of liquid courage.

Adam 8:27

But we went into the brewery, and um, you're right. You were like, right when you walk in, they had that patio that was right along the outside there. And walking in, the place was huge. So really cool bar.

Dedra 8:39

Hold on. Lo and behold, right next door to night shift is what shoe company?

Adam 8:44

Oh, Converse, yeah. Very true.

Dedra 8:49

Can't just brush by that. That's where we get a 'cause it came back to it. Well, hey, that's where we get our chucks from.

Adam 8:55

Ah. Or what?

Dedra 8:56

Mine.

Oh, your chucks. I'm like, mine. Checks. I want a check from there.

Dedra 8:59

How do you get those? Well, that's where I get mine from. You don't have any.

So you walk into the brewery and they had this really big bar, and it was like you could sit all the way around it. And I thought that was really cool. Um, that's where we ordered from, and you could tell the the the workers there were all like trying to like put tables away, and they're like, um, we're about to close. And we're like, okay, I'll just order one. You can cash me out right now.

Dedra 9:23

Oh, and I'm I'm sorry. We were those people. Yeah. And but I mean, it was we don't go to Boston. I don't fly very well. So the fact that we flew all the way out there to Boston, I appreciate the people out there at night shift that, you know, were um nice enough to tolerate us and were like, here's your damn beer, guys.

Adam 9:43

Yeah.

Dedra 9:43

Now tip the shit out of me, which I really hope you did.

Adam 9:47

I'm sure I did.

Dedra 9:48

Because it the place is huge. Like you walk up to it and it's huge. Like I'm gonna and I'm probably just exaggerating, but I feel like we walked up to it and it was it was almost like I don't know.

Adam 10:02

Like a warehouse?

Dedra 10:04

Yes, but like three stories. Was it just one story or was it two stories?

Adam 10:08

It was kind of hard to tell. I mean, from the outside, yeah, I would say like three, four stories, but you're ins inside, you can't tell. But remember in the back of the bar too, like kind of in that corner where you go to the bathrooms, they had all those glass windows, and inside there, that's where you've seen all their fermenters and brewing equipment. So that obviously went a lot higher.

Man, I wish we really had a little bit more time to go check that place out.

Adam 10:32

We looked at the scenery, wonderful. We went to the brewery, got some beer. We do have to check those off, but yeah, there'll be another time where we get to get back and enjoy that a little bit longer.

Dedra 10:43

Very true. And actually, just thinking about it, like for anybody that lives out there in that area, that would be a really beautiful place like sunset to go and get like engagement photos done. Just because of like the bridge, the water, it's so beautiful that area.

Adam 10:58

And there were two bridges, remember? Like one to the north and one uh south of that area, too.

Dedra 11:04

No.

Adam 11:04

Okay. You don't know which way was north and south, do you?

Dedra 11:10

No, I really didn't care. I wasn't driving. It's just, hey, our Uber showed up. I think that's our Uber. Hey, get in. I hope so. I don't know. I trusted you and just got into whatever car you were like, our Uber's here. And I'm like, oh, awesome.

Adam 11:28

I'm sure it's right.

Dedra 11:30

See, that's how much I trust you because I just jump into whatever car, you're like, it's here, and I would have jumped in and you're like, ha, sucker, slam the door and like send me off to God knows where, like Walmart in Spain. Oh my god.

Adam 11:44

I did that one time. I was like, we were in downtown Phoenix and we left the place and we were in a hurry, and I like ran up to this guy's car and I'm all like shaking the hand. I'll probably freak the hell out of him.

Dedra 11:55

Yeah. Well, no, remember that one time when we went to the Cowboys game and we were leaving. That was crazy.

Adam 12:03

I was in Arlington and a guy's like, yeah, yeah, I'm your ride. And I'm looking, I'm like, and that was like a whole long day of drinking. And I'm like, and then it turned out to be a taxi. He was just trying to get a fair. I'm like, man, I already paid for somebody else.

Dedra 12:15

Oh, we almost got kidnapped. Yeah. And he was just like, Yeah, yeah, get in, get in. So that's how important it is. Check your Uber rides, check the car, check the license plate, because these people that are out there, especially for these big events, they're just gonna say yes to whoever is willing to get into the car. So double check your stuff.

Adam 12:36

And if you're drinking too much, I I don't even know how to help you because that's where we were at that point.

Dedra 12:41

Very true, very true. I'm just glad that you were like, no, no, no, no, hey, wait, I already paid for an Uber. You're you're a freaking taxi.

I looked at his dash and I could I tell, and oh man, that next day was tough because but that night, yeah. I I I'm glad I actually still remember that.

Okay, okay, get get back on track.

Okay, so we got into that bar, really cool. I knew they were closing. Um, and I had a uh uh double IPA that I actually really liked, and it was called Double Parked. Really cool name. Double IPA called Double Parked. I mean, come on, but it was 8.5% and another just solid beer. I feel like it was similar to the one we're drinking now, just a little bit stronger in flavor.

Dedra 13:28

The again, going back to this one that's called lunch, it's for being an IPA, it is really, really smooth. Yeah, I'm not getting any bitterness out of it. I'm not getting like any hops. Um, it's just it's very, very easy actually to drink. Um, and I'm looking at the label like I know what I'm looking at. So it's like I was gonna put that right back on the back of it.

There's like three paragraphs. It's like I don't got time to read all that. So we'll just say it's a beer. Um it's an IPA.

Right. That was the other thing I read. That's why I said like I looked at like three things back there. Yes. Pretending like I knew what I was reading.

Yeah, I did. I tried to read it, and I was just like, no, there's just way too many words to do that right about now.

Yeah, I already talked about my beer. What do you have? What did you have?

I had a I had a hazy. Of course you had a lot of New England hazy, and I was damn happy with it. It was called Fluffy, and it was delicious.

Adam 14:49

Like Gabriel Glesia, Fluffy? Yes, but it was good. We just sat there at the end table. I gotta say, the bathroom was weird though. So we were sitting there, you know, drinking, and we just, you know, went on a train. We went all over the place, and uh we both needed to use the bathroom. You go in there, and it's got like a line of sinks, and there's no door or anything. It's just like one kind of like a bigger room, and then those like stalls, individual stall knobs, and it's like it was male and female kind of together. Each every you pick your own stall, I guess. You walk out, and it doesn't matter, like the all the sinks were lined up, like you're inside of a regular bathroom. So that was strange.

Dedra 15:29

Yes, that was very interesting, especially for being like the last stop of the night after a day of drinking. That will really mess somebody up. And I'm surprised I made it that far. Like I actually expected to just take a nap on the train coming back from Salem into Boston, but oh my god. So we get into Boston, and right near where night shift was, I guess there's like a Coliseum or an amphitheater or something. There was a concert happening, and there's this guy, he was selling t-shirts, everybody's selling things, and and there's people, crowds galore.

Adam 16:04

Yeah, there was line lines, and we're like, what the heck are the lines for?

Dedra 16:08

So there I I stop and this guy's trying to sell me this shirt, and I'm like, no, no, no, no, I don't I don't want to buy your shirt. And I'm like, who is in concert? And he's all ASAP Rocky, and I was like, What? And I was like, there is no way, but I was shocked, and he was like, Oh, it's ASAP Rocky, and I was just like reflecting back on the train ride and everything, and I was just like, Okay, that I guess that makes sense, but I was like, I didn't realize he was still so relevant. I thought he kind of died out like a while ago, and yeah, kind of his fame and popularity, but I he's still strong in Boston, apparently.

Adam 16:43

So we went when we walked over there to the brewery, it was like when we came out of the train station, that's where all those lines were. And I think the train station is like a level or maybe down a little bit, and they were all going up to whatever was above, and that's where they were getting in, I think, because that's where all the lines were leading, and down the street and all that stuff. But um, yeah, that was I was like, what the hell's going on? And I'm like, we're trying to get to a brewery, it's right over here, and then we like it was like right on the street. There was just so many people, and then we turned off down towards the water, and maybe that's what made the uh the water over there just seem so much more peaceful because we got out of those crowds, and it was just like maybe so wow. Maybe this is nice.

Dedra 17:25

I was so glad to be out of that rush of people, like it was just an eye I hate being in that type of environment where it's so tight and packed. Yeah. Because then it gets like hot and humid, sweaty, people smell weird, and then you're just like shoulder to shoulder with them. And you know, after drinking all day, that's not the environment that you want to be in. You're just like, get me out of here. Get me my next beer.

Adam 17:49

Absolutely. But when we were when we were in there, it was just nice to just because it was at the end of the day, there was hardly any people there. It was nice and calm and actually really nice to to sit in. And they had this little room off to the side, and uh, you didn't go with me, but I'm like, ooh, they got merchandise and beers to go inside there. So I ran in there real quick, took a look at all the fridges, and uh, of course, everything was in four packs. And that was one thing that was disappointed. I wanted to buy some single cans at some of these breweries, but it's like they didn't have all you could buy was four packs, and I'm like, I'm leaving tomorrow, I can't get any more four packs. So I bought one.

Dedra 18:24

But that is weird, and I thought that was very strange because even at Trillium, uh that the first place that we went, I was like, Well, see if they'll let you break up a four-pack and you know, mix and match, do whatever you need to. And they were like, uh no. So that's interesting. So I'm I'm kind of curious as to why we I didn't ask, and I don't think you had asked, but if anybody out there knows or understands why they don't allow um you to mix and match your four pack, I please reach out, say something, put it in Instagram, shoot me a message and be like, hey, yo, this is why you can't do it. And I'd be like, Okay, that makes sense. And I'll even give you a shout out on the next episode that we do.

But it it probably could be like, oh, they just want you to buy two four packs instead of two single cans or something. Maybe it's a revenue thing. I don't know.

Dedra 19:13

But but out here in Arizona, we do that all the time.

Adam 19:15

Very true. You can get that almost anywhere, which is really neat. Yeah, so yeah, that's that's really good.

Dedra 19:20

But that's hey, we have a little bit of an upper hand on on Boston for that. So hey.

Adam 19:26

So I didn't buy any clothes, I just uh didn't uh I just I didn't have enough time to browse, and honestly, I didn't even think I was gonna buy anything because I was in there, there was nobody inside this room. I ended up just picking up this four-pack of beers, and it was called Pie Scraper, and it was a pumpkin pie ill, and because it was so interesting, that's the one I went with, and I just grabbed it to go and I was able to pay um like at the hostess stand, and we finished our beers and and took off right after that. Um, and we ended up cracking that open um that night, and it was okay. That one wasn't my favorite. I mean, it it did have the pumpkin pie flavor, but I expected it to be like much stronger. Like I wanted like a real pumpkin piece, like you know, nut brown or something like that would have been really good. It was a it was a standard pale ale, uh maybe a little bit on the on like a Marzan kind of kind of look to it. Yeah. And it was just it was kind of lacking the flavor that I wanted for the pumpkin pie, which was unfortunate, it was good, but it wasn't my favorite.

Dedra 20:26

Well, and that's the thing between him and I, I think I'm more of the pumpkin beer person than Adam is. But so Blue Moon, long time ago, years ago, probably like six, seven years ago-ish.

Adam 20:40

No, like eight.

Dedra 20:42

Fifteen years ago, Jesus. Okay, so about 15-ish years ago, they used to make um a pumpkin beer called the Harvest Moon. And that was my absolute favorite, favorite pumpkin beer. And then they stopped making it along with another beer that Lion and Cool used to make the Sunset Wheat. Yeah, no, I think they still have pumpkin, but I think they still make it.

Adam 21:05

They don't call it Harvest Moon anymore, but it was like the Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale or something. That's what they rebranded as the same thing. It's not, but uh I think they might still make it, but they don't distribute it out in their zone anymore. So you might be able to still find it out there, but I I you can't find it here. And that's what I've looked at. I think I might have found it online at uh one point, but neither here nor there. But the pumpkin pie ale that we had there was it was okay.

Dedra 21:31

It was subpar. I mean, it was one of those beers I think we had kind of both agreed that you have to really let it sit out and let it come to room temperature for it to taste like anything good.

Adam 21:41

I was just like, okay, this is just a mediocre beer. Um, but they had that double parked, and I'm like, I'm drinking that right now. So if I take it, I'm just taking the same thing that I had. So I wanted to try something different. And they had a couple other ones inside there. I I was just like, these are the ones that I think you like. And I think I took you the pictures, and you're just like, I don't. Know and I'm like, okay, I'm getting the pumpkin pie one then.

Sounds about right.

So, but all in all, it was uh I mean a great ending to our brewery tours, but now I'm gonna talk about dinner.

Dedra 22:12

Oh yes, dinner. We love ourselves in dinner.

Adam 22:16

So, for those of you familiar, if you're not familiar with Boston, they have the North End area, which is their little Italy section, and tons of little tiny restaurants, shops. Um, you know, you can go to into a bakery and all these little restaurants, and tons of them that have been there for a really long time. We stopped at one based on our selections that we gave to our kids and said, here, pick one of these places, we'll go to it. And they picked one called Quattro. And uh four for those of you that don't know Italian or or Spanish, I guess. It is, it was oh, that was really good. We went in there, really small place. I mean, you could probably count what maybe 10 tables in the whole place, plus the um they had like a little bar, and behind that that's where they're cooking the food. And so very small. And for the four of us, I felt even with people on the on tables near us, we feel still felt kind of crammed into that place.

But it was very, it was it was a dark place. It was dimly lit. I liked that, so it made it feel just more intimate, and then it was packed, so it just gives you that feeling like, hey, we are we're in a good place for dinner, we're gonna get some good food. Look how packed this place is, and then it's small. When there's a place that small and it's packed, that means people are sacrificing their personal space to sit next to a stranger to eat good food.

Oh, yeah.

Dedra 23:41

Good way to put it, absolutely, and that it was, it was very good. So I'll let you introduce everything that we had ordered.

Yeah, I'm this is gonna be hard because I had to try to remember the names of all of this stuff, and I have no notes. So I'm going off pure memory here. So we got a pizza, number one, and uh the brick oven pizza is something that we love. Our kids enjoy it too, and that's something that's one of the decisions uh we made it to this place is because the pizzas just looked amazing. So we got like a soapersata pizza, and I am partial to soapersada. It's kind of like a salami, but spicy also, and usually cut a little bit thinner. And uh or a Capricola, maybe a little closer to that. So it's it's really good. I I enjoy it so much. And that's I saw that pizza on the menu. I'm like, we have to get this one. Amazing. I mean, brick oven pizza. The dough is stretchy, I mean, it was cooked well. It was oh my god, it was so good. Um, so we got that linguinis and clam, which the linguinis and clam, we've had it with a variety of different sauces and stuff. And usually when you use linguini, it's gonna be like a lighter sauce. This was like a wine base, right? With little grape tomatoes that were fried in there with it. And the clams, oh, they were just they were cooked perfect, they tasted amazing. I mean, absolutely no fishy flavors. You could tell that they were just fresh.

That was so, so good.

And the one that you were leaning towards, the one that you uh, you know, you had to have off the menu, was called the halibut aquapaza. Yes, I do remember. Okay. And that was good too. So it had like a halibut chunk in the middle, clams on one side, uh, mussels on the other, a couple crustinis in there, and like a light, not tomato base, but maybe like a wine base with tomatoes inside there too. Um, and that was really good. And uh tell me what you thought of all those things.

First of all, shout out to our kids for picking this spot out because I we legit were just like, you know what? We've been making all the choices, the decisions, where we're gonna go, where we're gonna eat, what we're gonna sightsee, the adventures, all of that stuff. So we had legit put the pressure on the both of them and we're just like, hey, if you guys don't pick a place to eat, then you know, we're just gonna sit in the hotel all night and we're gonna just live on whatever junk food snacks that we got next door, and that's gonna be our dinner.

So they or they can have that, we're gonna go find somewhere.

So I was like, okay, I'll go down to the lobby and I'll drink my dinner. Liquid bread, right? That's right. So we were, and I don't think they had quite taken us seriously. So I was just like, all right, well, we're just gonna sit here until you guys figure out where you want to go for dinner. And that was the place that they had chosen. And once we got there, I was just like, and I had kind of a crummy attitude because I was just, I think I was just hungry. So I was just like in the Uber ride, I had a an RBF face. So we sat down. Wait, I ordered a glass of wine because I was kind of just tired of beer, and plus we're gonna be having seafood and stuff like that. So I was like, you know what? What white wine do you suggest that's gonna go with all this food, Mr. Server? And you know, he was just like, Oh, this one, ma'am. I was like, perfect. Give it to me. Pour me a glass, just bring the bottle. He's like, Yes, ma'am, brightly, ma'am. He's like, She's angry. Uh-oh.

Adam 27:30

I'm gonna make some money off her tonight.

Yeah. So I got that glass of wine started, and I was just like, okay, I'm I'm working on it. I'm I'm feeling I'm working through the emotions. Yes. And the food comes out, and just I was so, I was damn it, I was so happy. Like, you ever eat something so good, it makes you mad? Like, that's how this food there was, and that dish that I had ordered, just everything there. The pizza, the mussels, the pasta, the sauce, just clams, everything. Yes, the clams, the wine. I was just like, oh, I was so angry because it was so good. Like, I wasn't even hangry anymore. I was just angry because it was just so good. And I don't even know what you call that. That's like it's another level of just like here's the level where you're at when you're happy and you're eating and you like your little food happiness, but then you get to a whole nother level, like 10, 10 more levels above that, where you're just like, oh my god, this is this is so good. Like, oh my god.

I think I I have a theory right now. So I think that the reason why you feel that way is because you can't get the food all the time. So you you because you can't get that food like that all the time, now you're angry because you're and you don't know why. You're just angry. God, this is so good.

Well, what do I what what do you want to do? But that was good. The only thing that I didn't like is out of that uh the one that you got with the muscles clams, the from the fish. Yes. Alapaza, the uh halibut a lapaza was actually the halibut. So I had like a chunk of uh halibut that was in the middle of it, and I really love halibut, but one thing that I like with my fish is I do like it rare. So that one was a little denser. I felt like it was a little bit overcooked for what it was. I still ate quite a bit of it, um, dipping the bread. Oh, remember the bread came out too, and we were able to oh, just fresh butter. Oh my god. And I was like dipping it in the sauce. And then we had we because we had all that, we got little tiny plates, and we were just taking forks and I was like taking a little bit of the pasta, taking a bite, and I was using it just so I didn't drip on myself the little the little plate, the transfer plate.

Oh, I know, huh? But oh my god, that was so good. That I mean, that was amazing, and then I did have a beer there too. She wanted wine. Um, I respect that, especially with the Italian food. But I saw this beer on the menu called Cloud Candy from Mighty Rat.

Mighty Mighty Squirrel. Hey, I was close. That was the one thing you were trying to remember. Hey, I got 50% of it, okay?

But that was uh double IPA, I believe.

Okay, I'm gonna blame this on you because you took too long to get to this part of this segment that I for I started to forget.

Oh, but God, that was good too. Went well with my food. I think I only got one of them while we were there because again, we was like all day, but we ended up going back to the hotel room and drinking a few more. Actually, you went to sleep, and then I just said, like, we have too many beers, it's not gonna fit in our suitcase, it's gonna be too heavy. So I drank like three more, I think maybe. And I passed out.

Because you just like kept lining them up on the nightstand for me, and I'm just like, you just went, I can't drink anymore after eating such a robust dinner. I was just like, oh I tried, I tried.

You did, you did, I'll give you that. And uh after you fell asleep, I I went ahead and helped you out with the rest of them. So it's like it's like you were drinking them.

Oh, and I gotta say, yeah, the uh untapped, I'm getting a little bit better on there. I'm you know up to about 70, 80 beers now on there. Yeah, you're excellent, excellent at it, thank you. But I did rank something a number five, and we drank it on this show. That uh quadruple, that uh infinite haze by Treehouse. That oh, I had to put that one as number five. I it was that good. I enjoyed it. Treehouse, I'm gonna say probably number one in the country. That one was amazing. Today we're drinking this one from Maine, and it's still very good, but it's hard to any for anything to compare to Treehouse, at least for the hazy IPAs or IPAs in general. It's hard to compete with that. I mean, what do we have? Monkish, uh, Trillium. I mean, there's a there's a handful of them that uh make really good hazy's. I'm gonna forget a whole bunch of them, so I'm just not gonna keep naming any.
