Same color, just mismatch. This is the chapters. This is one is fentanyl. Chapter 2. So the science of fentanyl. So there are two different kinds of fentanyls. There's the pharmaceutical fentanyl. It's legally manufactured under strict regulations for the hospitals and prescriptions. And then there's these legal illegally made fentanyl, IMF, produced in like you know, those laboratories and sold illegally like everywhere. That's what's responsible for the overdoses because they're not being controlled in an environment. So what it is is it's 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine and is about 50 times more potent than heroin. Heroin. It's making it the strongest opiate of all medicine. It's used to treat severe pain, such as like advanced cancer pain. It's used for major surgery, but that's inside the hospitals. That's the pharmaceutical fentanyl. And it's synthetically made, it's lab-made, and it was developed for medical use and prescribed to treat you know severity, but usually they don't send them home. And if they do, it'll be with patches. It was made in the 1959s. Belgian doctor synthesized it. In the 1960s, it began being used in hospitals as an intravenous anesthetic. 1990s to 2000s, prescribed patches and lozenges became available for severe pain. Since the mid-2010s, illicit phenol became widespread and largely replaced her on and many illegal drug markets. And it made the overdoses deaths go up. So before there was overdoses with her on, you know, like of course, but this is almost like almost guaranteed. Not completely, because there's people who went from her on to phenol, and so those people are a little bit more immune, but the consistency of fentanyl is not enough for them to be able to be consistent with that. So that's why also the overdoses happen within the people who use that recreationally. It is also, you know, is illegal to even have the chemical precursors to make it for like the labs. So like even just to have like the little things that make it, it's illegal because it's so deadly. From China's chemicals. It's extremely dangerous because a small amount can kill you. So fentol is also found in her on, cocaine, methamphetamine, especially pressed into counterfeit pills, like M30s, the blues, what else? Xanax narco narcos, narcant, like no narcos. There's just like the pain medicines, the downers that are like for pain. Like if they're off the street, they're pressed, which means they're made fake, they're fake, and so they have fentanyl in them, so they they could like make the effect that the pharmaceuticals give. So, and the M30s are the ones that the only pill that is able to be smoked, and just the smoke alone can't kill you. Just let you know. So the doctors use it for the surgery and anesthesia, severe injury and trauma, or trauma, cancer pain, chronic severe pain when other opiates are ineffective. Prescription for include injectable fentanyl, skin patches, lollipops, lozenges, lozenges, nasal sprays, tablets. Let's see what else. I think that it is a big problem because you know, they know people are gonna use things, you know, we're gonna rebel, we all rebel. But the thing is it's so dangerous and it's it's it's a killer. It's killing a lot of people, whether it's intentional or non-intentional. And when the drug, you know, the drug users use it, like because it's like cheap to make, it is extremely potent, like it's really, really dangerous. Like you just the the smell of the smoke or even just touching it or smelling it will can kill you. It is easier to transport for people, and you can mix it in with a lot of things. The colors are like usually come in white powder, like chalky. It looks chalky. Like if you like like crunch up like a chalk and like off-white chalk, sometimes it could be white, it could be colored powder, it could be in counterfeit pills, meaning pills off the street, any prescription pills off the street. If it's not from a prescription, you should be getting it from a pharmacy, but you know, like they're pressed, they have fentanyl in them. A lot of people die from those actually all the time. Nasal sprays mixed into other drugs, they could be mixed into vape pens, you know, the little pens, the little vapor ones, they could be putting fentanyl in there too. They could be mixing them in a lot of different things. The prescription, fentanyl comes in patches, injectable solutions, again, lozengers, tablets, and nasal sprays. Narcan is the thing that will reverse a fentanyl overdose. Because fentanyl is so potent, like multiple doses of narcan or naloxin need is needed. And afterwards, you still will need to see the doctor to make sure you're okay. Uh also you know, this is just a science of it. The chemistry of the fentanyl is is basically like think of your brain having millions of tiny locks that control pain, breathing, mood, and pleasure. Opioids work by fitting into those locks called opioid receptors. Fentanyl's molecules have a shape that fits these receptors extremely well. When it attaches, the pain signals are greatly reduced. The brain releases chemicals that can produce relaxation or euphoria, andor the brain slowly may uh swells many automatic functions, including breathing. Because fentanyl binds so strongly, it takes very little to have a powerful effect. That is why a tiny difference in the dose can make the difference between someone feeling sleepy and someone stopping breathing. Your liver eventually will break down the fentanyl into smaller substances that your kidneys will help remove from your body. That's like a little a little bit of a little bit of that. And also, a lot of the prescriptions made these people like made people have habits, like whether it was they had a they got shot or they had surgery or they have pain, and like, you know, the doctors got them hooked on like narcos and and so I don't know, somas and and bigotin and Roxy's. I'm I'm not even sure, I don't even know. But I know that they the doctors are responsible for a lot of these people who are addicted to drugs, recreational drugs, because prescription drugs are drugs. So the doctors are the ones who usually turn out a lot of these people, not necessarily on fentanyl, but on heron. Because the ones they ran out of the pills, they can't get more pills. They what they resorted to the streets to fix what they've been what what what has came out of their injury or w or their trauma or whatnot. They also like helped, you know, it's it like it's oh I'm sorry. And they also has like a lot of them has xylosine, which is a horse tranquilizer. So a lot of people that's why you need a couple more like nor uh narc narcans because like not only is it too strong, but a lot of times it has something else or not like with the xylosine in it, so it makes it stronger. The narcans do not help with xylazine, it only helps with fentanyl, just let you know. Um, there's other things to help with overdoses if people have overdoses on other opioids. It's e and it's it's not cheaper than hair on, so and it's not easier, it's easier to find though than hair on. It's also basically taking out hair on off the streets. It's like replacing it, but there are some people who still want to use hair on, but mainly most of those went into hephenol. It is it's spread by hair beyond hair on it is like because it's in counterfeit prescription pills, other drugs, you know, cocaine. Sometimes it can even smell like cocaine and it's not, it's very it's very deceitful. You might think you're doing like a line of cocaine and it could be a line of fentanyl, and you're gonna probably die, unfortunately, unless there's people around you that will save you and give you CPR if they don't have Narcan, give you CPR or mouth to mouth. And even that is dangerous because you can die from giving mouth to mouth. Hmm. It is, you know, usually used for surgeries, like the the real legit ones. So people who take opioids can develop tolerance, meaning they need larger amounts to get the same effect. Illicit fentanyl is so potent and its drink varies, this greatly increases in the risk of overdoses. The biggest danger isn't just that it's fentanyl is powerful, it's that illicit fentanyl is often unpredictable. Two pills that look identical may contain very different amounts of fentanyl, which quality control people often cannot tell how much they are taking. So basically, like like you never know what it isn't unless it's coming from the pharmacy. Either way, be careful and you shouldn't be taking things off the streets. But I I I get it though, like if people have, you know, everybody has some type of an addiction, whether it's sex, food, chocolate, I love chocolate, drugs, alcohol, it could be anything. It could be just outside, it could be anything. Like people aren't shooting the fentanyl. It's like that's deadly. Snorting it is pushing the line of death. Like it's mainly smoked or yeah, smoked or yeah, taken in other forms like pills. So that's the science of it. That's like a little breakdown of the science of it. Sorry for my um because this is it's a sensitive topic and it is a topic that needs to be covered because most people there's so many different types of like things out there and and you know information and a lot of the information, it could be true or it could not be true. I'm not sure. I don't I haven't really checked into it, but I did my research on this, and so not to mention it hits close to home. This is chapter two, same color, Mr. Miss Natch.
