Hi everybody, this is Nick Grimsman. This is Holy Ghost Television. This is Spirit Stream number forty-eight, I believe. So we're on forty-eight. You like the new setup here? I kind of like it. We have the countdown. Uh just gonna keep uh morphing or transform into a uh more uh more cool looking type uh television, Christian television network. I don't really know where it goes, right? But I know that I have a vision for Holy Ghost television. I just don't know, like I know where it goes. Like you don't you see like in part, right? So I don't really know exactly. You know what I mean? So I'm just starting small. We're doing this, uh, and we're doing this from the studio apartment here in Phoenix, Arizona. I have my little dog Timmy, he's really tired, he's sleeping. He was at the park all day yesterday. Uh, you can uh he just gets wiped out, and then today he was uh running around like a crazy maniac. So that's my little dog, little Timmy. Okay, he's a little multi-poo. Love him a lot. Uh Annette says, Hi, hi Annette on YouTube. Good to see you. Shalom, blessings to you, Nick, little Timmy, and everyone here in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. So uh Spirit Stream 48. Uh, we're gonna pray and we're gonna ask the Lord what he would like uh me to talk about today. I don't know how long it's gonna be, guys. I don't really uh write down a bunch of notes. Uh currently don't write a bunch of notes. I don't really uh prepare except through prayer and just hanging out with the Lord. And then because I really have found that when I relax and just allow the Holy Spirit to speak through me, um, he does a better job than I could in myself. And so if I get in my brain and try to give you all this stuff from my brain, then I feel like the anointing's not there. So I try to, when I preach and teach, I try to just allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me. Uh, not to say there isn't times where you use notes and all that stuff, but today's not that day. So let's pray, guys. We want the presence of God, we want the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost in our lives. We want the presence to saturate our entire being. And the truth is, is that the Holy Spirit lives inside a believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You have to get that in your head, right? You have to understand that a real Christian, a Christian person, according to Romans 8, is someone that has the Spirit of Christ inside of them. Okay, so people going around saying they're Christian, they might not be Christian, right? So anybody can say they're Christian, even the demons believe and tremble. That's what the book of James says, right? I think it's the book of James, okay? So you have to understand that someone has the Holy Spirit who belongs to Christ. And if you're in Christ, you're what? A new creation. And so we have to really transform, transfer ourselves through the word of God through believing correctly who we are, from sinner to saint. But a lot of times we what we take identity in our old nature because we've been programmed by it. So I'm gonna talk about it in a second, but let's uh let's uh let's pray, uh, continue the prayer. Uh, God is good, God is great, right? God is good, God is great, God is good, God is great. I I feel the joy of the Lord. Hi, Amber. Good to see you on YouTube. Thank you guys for sharing the broadcast. It's really simple. You can just copy and paste it right into your social media. You can text it to people. You can just text holyghost.tv to somebody. It's right on the bottom of the screen there, holyghost.tv. You can go right uh into you can uh text it right to somebody who's if you know somebody dealing with something and they need encouragement, just type in holyghost.tv and send it to them. You got that friend that's always texting you for prayer and they're always struggling, holyghost.tv. There's like almost a hundred hours now of free content of me sitting here talking, talking to people, talking people off the ledge, right? I get calls from the the one on the 1-800 number. I got to talk people off the ledge. Uh, people get in their emotions, people go through life challenges. All it's all talking people off the ledge, right? And so that's ministry. If you want to go in ministry, you're gonna be talking people off the ledge. You're gonna be encouraging people. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit through the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I thank you for the name that is above every name, every disease, every sickness, every life circumstance, every name that is named on the in the entire creation, in the entire existence, the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We glorify that name. We glorify that name. We thank you, God, for sending Jesus of Nazareth to earth to be born of a virgin, to live a sinless life, to walk among men, and to uh teach and preach and share God's love and show people the right way, which is faith through him. No one can come to the Father except through Christ. Amen. And Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, for every sin of mankind, and then rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Ghost. We thank you, God, for Jesus of Nazareth. And we ask that he would be exalted through Holy Ghost television and the ministry, the Father's friends, and through every teaching I ever do, that Jesus of Nazareth, the risen Savior, would be exalted, the Messiah would be exalted. In Jesus' name I pray, God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. I thank you for the power of the Spirit. I thank you for the kingdom of God. I thank you for the angels that watch over us. I thank you that your word is powerful. I thank you, Lord, for the anointing, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, whichever one, right? It's the same. Just old English, right? Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. We glorify you. Thank you. Speak through me, Lord. Help somebody, get somebody off the ledge. Amen. Amen. Amen. Guys, we got to get off the ledge. Amen. Got to get these people off the ledge. And how do we do it? We lead them to the truth. So I'm just gonna move this a little bit. All right. So the truth, guys, is what sets somebody free. It's the truth. The truth is you need the Holy Spirit, you need his presence, you need the anointing. That comes through what? Faith in Jesus of Nazareth. Faith in the gospel, the good news. Remember, we talked about Galatians, I believe, last time. Galatians talks about how there's another gospel out there, but it's not even the gospel. It's not good news. It's a false gospel. Okay? That's the works-based gospel. Guys, it's Jesus plus nothing. It's all about faith. People argue water baptism. People argue if you're supposed to keep the commandments, people argue all this stuff. Guys, it's faith. It's being circumcised in your heart, living a new life in Christ. And if you have saving faith, you have the Holy Spirit in your heart because God gifted you eternal life. And then you are commanded to go get water baptized. You get water baptized. You're supposed to. You're not going to argue being water baptized if you're really touched by God. So you don't need to argue water baptized with people. It's pointless. If you're saved, you get water baptized. That's how it works. That's what the Bible says. You go and get water baptized. Okay? I can explain all this why, you know, all you know, the uh the uh they didn't have a sinner's prayer back then. It was you go get water baptized. And then later on, people you know, they took Paul's writings and did the sinner's prayer and all stuff. Guys, you get saved by grace through faith, and then you get water baptized. That's how it works. Okay, water doesn't save you. Remember, it's the conscience, it's the answer of a good conscience towards God. It's receiving the Messiah, and you get water baptized as a type in a shadow of you being baptized, buried in Christ, right? Buried, you're baptized, you're buried with him, and then you resurrect to newness of life. And then you're in the church, right? Now you're a Christian. You're not a Christian if you just say you're a Christian because you grew up Christian. That's not a Christian. A Christian is someone that has been circumcised in heart. Remember, Paul talked about not all of Israel are Israel. It's only faith. Those who are of faith are of Israel. Faith in God, faith in Jesus Christ. Okay? So it's the heart of the person. And so it's a lot easier to be a pastor or to be a church leader or whatever when you're dealing with people, uh, when you realize that they need to have a heart transformation. You need to have a heart circumcision. So then you're not having to counsel and deal with all these people that are just living in the world and not uh living for Jesus. They're probably, most of them probably aren't even saved. So instead of trying to counsel them with all their issues, you lead them to what? Having the Holy Spirit. So when I talk with people, that's what I talk about. You have Christ. If you come to me and say, I'm struggling with this sin, I'm struggling with that, I like to do this thing, I want to smoke this, I want to do this. I will talk to you about do you have the Holy Ghost in your body? Right? Do you have Jesus of Nazareth living in your body? And if so, what does that mean to you? Are you the temple of the Holy Spirit? As the Bible says, Yes, I am. Okay. Start believing you're the temple of the Holy Spirit, and then it's harder to go live in sexual morality or live in doing a bunch of junk. You start realizing, wow, I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. It's harder for you to hold on to disease when you realize I am the temple of God. I have the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I have the name above all names living in my body. He gives life to my mortal flesh by the Spirit, right? The spirit that dwells in us. See, so bring people back to that. I have the Holy Spirit. Your heart has been transformed. You don't have unforgiveness. See, you think you do because you were traumatized in your soul. But you're a new creation. Old things have passed away. If you look in the epistles or anything like that, if you start looking at the New Testament, is there any counseling about all this stuff? You would think that there would be all this stuff, right? No. You teach people their identity and they start resisting the devil. They're submitting to God and resisting. So submit to the Holy Ghost in you, and right? And you resist the devil because the devil's going to tell you that you're an old traumatized person. Guys, I was in a full-blown cult. I was traumatized emotionally, spiritually, severely. I was controlled, manipulated, Jezebel, whatever you want to call it, all that stuff. And I was a traumatized individual as a Christian. This all happened to me. If I kept seeing that part of my human nature or my soul or my mind or my, you know, whatever, my body, whatever, if I keep associating with that, guess what happens? It just grows stronger. Or I just go around the mountain with it. If I just keep saying I'm a cult survivor, I'm a cult kid, I'm always going to be uh, you know, tormented with voices, I'm always gonna be tormented with rebellion, rejection, feelings, I'm always gonna be struggling with lust. If I just keep doing that, I'm just going around the mountain. Eventually you have to submit to God the truth that you have the Holy Spirit living in your body, and you are no longer alive, it's Christ that lives in you. The life that you now live in this thing, the flesh, you live by faith in the Son of God who what? Loved you and died for you. So when the enemy tries to say you did this, you did that, you'll never prosper, you'll never be healed, all that stuff, the Bible says, He, who is it that condemns? Who can condemn a servant of God, a true believer? A true believer, who can condemn? Christ died and rose from the dead for us. Who's gonna condemn you? See, so when you're dealing with condemnation, that's the enemy. You feel bad, guilty about stuff. Well, confess it to the Lord. If you've confessed it to the Lord, it's not part of your nature, right? So sin is not part of a new believer's nature. Hatred, all that stuff. Hatred, uh, ungodly things, uh, getting wasted all the time. All that's not part of your new nature. You could struggle with that stuff, but it's not really part of who you are. You might think you like it, but it torments you when you, you know, when you think about it or when you do it or whatever. You torments you, you feel guilty. That's because it's not, it's like uh it's like an identity issue. Your flesh or your soul is pulling you into this stuff, and you know it's not right, or you know it's not part of who you are, and so you struggle with condemnation and guilt, and the enemy's pounding you because you're you're you're identifying with the wrong thing. You need to identify with being forgiven. And then you walk free from this stuff. It's not always instant. You could be dealing with an addiction since you were 12 years old. You get saved, now you're 35, you've been walking with the Lord for five years, you still kind of go back to this thing once in a while. Maybe it's connected to something when you're 12, 15, 16, whatever. And so you want to renew your mind in that area and learn God's grace. The answer for everybody is God's grace, is God's grace. Learning that you're saved forever, that you can't lose your salvation if you're truly circumcised, if you truly have the Holy Spirit. You can't lose your salvation if you truly have the Holy Spirit. Or does he just disappear? He's the guarantee of our eternal life. You've been chosen by God. You didn't choose God, you think you did, right? So you got to get that out of your head too, because everybody wants to tell you you can lose your salvation all the time.
SPEAKER_01Okay?
SPEAKER_00That's what everybody wants to tell you. You can lose your salvation all the time. I'm telling you. Read the Bible in context and understand that Christ lives in your body and God will never leave nor forsake his son. Okay? Not happening. Okay? The argument is if the person was ever saved or not. That's the argument, guys.
SPEAKER_01Okay?
SPEAKER_00If you have a circumcised heart and you have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, you don't just lose your salvation. You get chastened by your heavenly father. So you run off and do dumb things. I've been there. Guess what? Chastening happens. You start feeling tormented, you get depressed, maybe you get mental illness, maybe you get an addiction, maybe you suffer some other way, maybe you go to jail, who knows? But a true son or daughter of God who's born again will be chastened. So you kind of choose what you want to do. It's kind of like as your kid grows up. You know, you're in your diapers, God, you know, uh the father, you're the father's very, you know, very gentle with the baby, right? You grow up and you start, you know, now you're in your toddler pants. You're still very gentle with a toddler. But then the kid starts getting older, 13, 14, you start showing, you know, discipline, all that stuff. I mean, you know what I'm saying. But discipline, right? You start getting discipline, right? Okay. Discipline, all that stuff, okay? And then so once the discipline, as you mature, eventually you become mature, fully mature, an adult, right? So we're on this path, and God will chasten us. And really, in reality, we go through chastening when we're younger. Because when we're when God finally finally we're full grown, right? We start growing up in Christ. We start learning how to love and all stuff. We learn all that bad stuff, all the stupid stuff we did when we were younger is not worth it. So the things I did, let's say 10 years ago, five years ago, I failed, or did I know not to go that route anymore. As I get older, I learn the consequences, all stuff. So remember, grace teaches you better behavior. It teaches you from your mistakes. Freedom Fighter on YouTube. Uh hi, good to see you. Uh, let's see here. Uh let's see who this is. It this person asked, what you mean by saved? You mean born again, right? Yeah, so I mean circumcised in heart. Yeah, saved. So uh, yeah, so if that if that makes sense. So uh being saved, you confess Jesus as Lord, and you believe with all your heart that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved. Remember, guys, it's in the book of Acts, he says uh he he the uh Philip is walking besides the uh person in uh the let's go, sorry, I'm doing this on the computer real quick. Uh the eunuch. Remember the eunuch in um uh the Ethiopian eunuch. Remember, and Philip, Philip was running alongside his chariot, right? And then the guy said, Well, and he sits up there and he teaches Christ to him, teaches him about the Messiah from the book of Isaiah, I believe. And then he says, Here's some water. What's stopping me from being water baptized, right? From being saved. What did Philip say? It's lawful only if. So water baptized is lawful only when, guys. It says it right there. We'll go, we'll go to it real quick. Okay, let's see if uh, oh, sorry guys, I'll put you on my my my screen share. See if I can do this. Um, yeah, I think this is it. Yeah, so I'm on screen share right now. All right, here we go. So let's go there real quick and we'll and watch it. Uh I think it's Philip. Phillip um hold on. Phillip uh how do you spell Phillip? It's two I no, it's one B. I'm sorry. Philip uh eunuch should come up. No? Oh my gosh, what's going on with my computer? Uh eunuch. Not there. Weird. There we go. Acts Philip Unich, it'll come up. All right, here we go. Uh Acts 838. Okay, so let's go here. Sorry guys. I like blanked out on how to spell yeah, Philip's 1L in the Bible. Okay. Uh so he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip, okay, so Acts 37, and Philip said, if okay, so yeah, Acts 836. As they traveled along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, Look, here is water. What can stand in the way? All right, what can stand in the way? You guys get this? Of my being baptized. As they rode along, they came to water. I'm just reading different translations because this is uh uh Bible hub. I like to read different translations. There's also the Greek meanings I can look up. I just like this, gives me better context. And as they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, Look, there's some water. Why can't I be baptized? And then another translation, what prevents me from being baptized? Now the Bible answers who can be baptized. Okay, can a baby believe with their whole heart? Okay, were you baptized as a baby? You well, you need to be able to believe with your whole heart in the gospel, in Jesus of Nazareth. A lot of people were baptized as babies, so they say, Well, I don't really need to be baptized now. But the Bible says you have to believe with your whole heart to be baptized.
SPEAKER_01Okay?
SPEAKER_00A baby can't understand the gospel. It's great that your parents, you know, uh wanted to honor the Lord and all that stuff. But as an adult, right, you need to what? Believe. Philip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered. So the eunuch answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Okay? That's who can be baptized. And Philip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may. All your heart. Let's look it up in Greek, just for fun. And Philip said, if you believe, have faith in, trust in, from among all, whole, entire heart. Your inner self, your will, your intentions. It is lawful. It is permitted. It is possible. Okay. So there's a lot of people, guys, that what they go out, okay? They go out and they they got water baptized, but they never believed in their whole hearts. And they're in churches, guys. So you meet these people in churches causing all these issues, and you're like, what's wrong with these people? Well, one, they need to repent, they need to change their mind. Maybe they're just in rebellion or they're confused, identity issues, they're baby Christians. Or maybe they're just, they're just uh not even born again yet. And so the pastors probably got to sit down and talk about new creation. The Holy Spirit lives in their heart, identity in Christ, all that stuff. See? Instead of trying to figure out all this other stuff. No, what's wrong with this person? I don't understand. Maybe they're not really saved, guys. Maybe they're not really saved. I'm not saying they aren't, but maybe they're not. Maybe you need to talk with them about what it looks like to be saved. Maybe they just went and got water baptized because their girlfriend got water baptized. And they, you know, they didn't, they just did it because their girlfriend. They wanted to please their girlfriend. Okay, guys. So let's go back to the to so I like this. I like doing the screen sharing. I hope it helps you. Please comment if it helps you. It is lawful, he answered, and he said, I believe, I have trust the that the Son of God to be Jesus Christ. And Christ means anointed one, the Messiah. Okay, the Messiah. So it is so then what happened? Acts 838. And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. Okay, and then later on the story is that he was uh translated into another area. The eunuch didn't see him anymore, right? And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down in the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. So when is it lawful to baptize someone when they believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? And guys, that's that's the requirement. You know, I actually had somebody comment, uh I was uh on TikTok, something they asked, when can I get baptized? Because some of these people they have to go to these classes for weeks and learn all this stuff, which you know, I understand, you know, why they do that and things like that. But in reality, it's as simple as, do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit? Romans 10, 9, 10, uh, 10.10. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe with your whole heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Remember, everything's very simple, guys. It's very simple, okay? Praise God. Praise God. So I just uh I just wanted to, I don't know why I talked about that. Maybe somebody needed that clarification, but it's truly about the the heart of the individual. And then you guys, if you think about the word of God, okay, the word of God is um the word of God is uh alive. Okay, the word of God is alive. I think that's in Hebrews. Um, let's see. Uh Hebrews uh Hebrews, hold on a second, gotta go back to this. So wait, where am I at? Here we go. I'm trying, guys. You know, I'm a one-man show right now uh with this live stream. Maybe one day I'll have uh uh uh somebody to help me. Hebrews, um Hebrews um word of God. Let's see. Uh no, that's not it. Hebrews word God sword. Okay. Why is it why is my enter not working? Hebrews uh word of God sword. It's like Hebrews 10 or something. Where's that at? Hebrews 9. Hebrews 8. Why is it taking so long? Did I lose my internet? You guys still hear? Did I lose my internet? Is that what happened? Looks like I lost my internet. No, here it is. Okay. I don't know what's going on. We're having issues. It's uh taking forever uh to figure this out. So I'm gonna go to uh Google. I don't know what's going on with the website here. Going to Hebrews Word of God sword. There we go. All right, here it is. I don't know why it's taking so long. You guys with me? All right, Hebrews 4 12. It wasn't Hebrews 8, sorry. For the word of God, so the word of God is what alive and powerful. It for the word of God is living and active. Okay, so the word of God is living and active. You have to understand that the word of God is living and active. So when you are reading a word with the Holy Spirit in you, right, it's transforming you, it's alive and powerful, it's living and active. So it's doing something to your mind, which is transforming your mind, right? And your mind is connected to your emotions. So if you deal with emotional problems, fear, anxiety, all this stuff, believe that the word of God is alive and active, transforming your mind and therefore transforming your emotions too. And then as your mind and your emotions start aligning with the truth and transforming into the mind of Christ that's in you, then your spirit man can start living more in the world. So, like, for example, the fruit of the spirit, uh, you'd have you'll walk in more, you'd access more faith, right? Like when I was younger in the Lord, I'd walk in like doubt and unbelief a lot and rejection and big feelings and emotions. But as I grew in maturity in the word of God and truth, then the trend, you know, then it starts trying the inside of me, it starts transforming. Not like I'm perfect or anything, but it starts transforming my mind and my emotions. So I don't deal with rejection anymore like I used to. I don't deal with uh fits of rage like I used to when I had rebellion and all that stuff. I don't deal with all the stuff I used to because transformation, because the word of God is what? Alive. It's living. King James says it's quick and powerful. New King James says living and powerful. See that? Very important. So it's alive and it's what? Sharper than any two-edged sword. Um this uh English Standard Version, sharper than any two-edged sword. Uh NLT, it's sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword. It's cutting between soul and spirit. It divides between soul and spirit, okay? Piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit. Okay. So think about it as your soul, which is your mind and your emotions, which has your will, right? Your mind, emotions, and will, your soul and your spirit, it can cut between it, it can divide it. So through the word of God, you can see what's coming from the Holy Spirit or the mind of Christ in you, and what your soul, your soulish realm. So, for example, uh Jesus said, Do not fear, right? Don't worry about tomorrow. So you start worrying about tomorrow. Where are you? Are you in the spirit or are you in your soulish realm, your mind and your emotions? Make sense, and the word of God divides it. You can go, okay, that's spirit, that's soul. See? Spirit, soul, and the word of God can do that. And then it goes on joints and marrow, uh, joints and marrow, and the joints and marrow, and is discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. Uh, as far as uh, let me see, am I here? Yeah, here we go. So as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow. So the joints and marrow are uh, let's see, uh word of God, an active sharper, it's sharper, keener, uh, more keen than any double edge of a sword. Uh sword, knife, it pierces, it pierces, it reaches through even to dividing separation. See, separation, soul and spirit, joints, a joint of the body, okay, and marrow, the marrow, okay. So think about it, could be it could mean the body of Christ, it could mean uh in the body. Some people believe it's like uh for the health of your bones and all that stuff. I'm not really sure. I'm not trying to decipher it, I'm just giving you what is on the screen here, right? Um, and then it uh it judges like I don't like it's okay to like teach or preach and not know everything in the Bible because remember, the Bible is uh God teaches us uh uh line upon line, precept among uh upon precept. So he has a way that he teaches you, and there might be places in the Bible or ministers you hear and you don't understand yet, or you hear and you're like, oh, what's that? I don't understand it, or it's just some people get something from preaching, you're like, I don't really get anything from that person, or whatever, is because God's teaching you differently than somebody else. Line upon line, precept upon precept. So he knows how you learn, he knows when to reveal new revelation to you, new wisdom, all that stuff. So some things I teach, some people, not a lot, I don't know, but some people can't get it. You know, maybe they're not there yet. Maybe they don't understand, you know, about their spirit, man. Maybe this is the first time you've ever heard that you actually have the spirit in you, and that's what makes you a Christian, not just because you go to church. Maybe it's the first time you ever heard that your mind is connected to your emotions. You know, maybe you don't understand how your soul is different than your spirit, how these two can be divided by the word of God, and you can see which one's which by the word of God. You know, for example, uh hatred, where's that? That's not in the fruit of the spirit, so that's part of your soul, the flesh, they call it, right? A fleshly thing. Let's look at some uh let's look at the chat real quick, see if anybody's uh let's see where we're at. All right, Brandy says, No worries. Okay, thanks for saying no worries. Bless you. I think that's a no, no worries. I think you're commenting because there's no worries in Christ. Okay, I don't know. All right, I'm gonna keep going. Uh, it judges the thoughts and intentions. Okay, so it judges, it discerns. Okay. So sometimes when you see judging uh in the Bible, it can mean different things. So, you know, like where Jesus said uh judge not and all that stuff. A lot of, you know, I believe we can look it up, but I used to think that was anything I say uh that sounded judgmental at all, and so I walk on eggshells, and people use a don't judge me, don't judge me. But really, it's kind of like placing a uh uh we can look it up. I'm not gonna go into it, but basically what I get from uh it's more of like uh you're condemning the person, you're sentencing them than making a judgment like, hey, you shouldn't uh you you shouldn't be uh shooting heroin. That's not judging somebody, right? That's just that's not condemning them. You're helping them not shoot, you know, you don't want them to hurt themselves, you're not judging them, right? But some people say, oh, you're judging me by saying that, but it's anyway, I'm not gonna get into that. All right. Okay, so it's okay to discern, it judges the thoughts, the reflections, the thoughts, the inward thought and intentions, your thoughtfulness, your moral understanding of the heart, the thoughts or feelings. You guys get that? Very important you get that. So the word of God, let's go back and kind of read this in context, right? So, or uh maybe I don't know if this context, but let's just read it for what it says in the Greek. For the word of God is living, so it's alive. It says alive and active, effective. It's production of due result at work. So the word of God is living, it's alive and at work, it's sharper than any two-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing, a separation of the soul and spirit, and the joints of the body, and the morrow. The morrow is uh uh the inside of the um let's see here. How do I get to the maybe I clicked wrong? I'm just learning this, guys. Hope you're enjoying this. Hope hopefully. And so the morrow is uh strong's 342. I should be able to go here and go to here. There it is. The morrow. It doesn't really have it's the inside of a bone, the marrow, I believe. Yeah, I can do this and hit um yeah, it's the inside of a bone. Okay, so the joints and inside of the bone, right? The marrow. I would say marrow, sorry guys. Tripping you up there. It judges, so the word of God. So what does the word of God do? It can judge, it can discern, it's able to discern your thoughts, your inward thoughts of the heart and your intentions of your thoughts and feelings. Isn't that interesting? So when you get a thought or a feeling, the word of God can discern it, right? You can discern it through the word of God, and it can go spirit, soul. You can go, oh, wait, wait a second. That thought or feeling is not from the word of God, is not from the spirit man. And it can help you, the word of God can help you understand your heart, your mind, how it works, all that stuff. Uh I I hope that helps somebody. I don't know if I'm helping anyone out there today. Lord, thank you so much uh for uh the word of God. It's sharp, it's powerful, it's able to uh discern between uh you know our thoughts and intentions. And so you can read the Bible where it says uh love your neighbors yourself. And then when you are acting out of, let's say, a mindset of jealousy or a mindset of judgment towards somebody, the word of God in you can let you know, hey, that's not coming from what? Coming from your inner man, that's coming from your soul. Amen. And uh and this is where most people all struggle, okay? Most people all struggle where in the soul. In the soul, in your soul is where your mind and your emotions is, and that's where the word of God transforms. And then if you go on, I'm gonna go back to the Bible here, and I'm gonna go to uh if you go on to um uh in your ignorance, in your ignorance. First Peter, here we go. All right, I think this is every year. First Peter. So if we look at First Peter, first Peter talks about um, so you must live as God's obedient children. Don't slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy in your own desires. You didn't know any better then. Well, that's kind of an interesting translation. Let's go to King James, as obedient children, not fashioning yourself according to the former lusts in your what? In your ignorance. But just as he who has called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. But as he who's called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct. So holy there, it can mean what? Sacred, set apart by and for God. Very important. Be set apart in all you do. You're different, guys. You're not a regular Joe anymore. You're a son or daughter of the Most High God. Okay, so let's read this in context. First Peter is he's he's writing to Christians, right? As obedient or submissive, compliant, so being some as submissive children. That's really what it's saying. Obedience is a is a good word there. Obedient, yeah. It can also mean submissive. So when you have a son or daughter, don't you like when they're obedient or submissive to your your uh your authority, right? So, you know, when you're you're you're you're young and your father's like, hey, you know, you need to clean up your room or whatever, and you're okay, okay, dad, I'll go clean my room, right? Your father likes that. He's pleased by that. So be submissive to the Lord. As submissive children or obedient children, you're obedient to uh his calling, to his authority. And it's and he says, do not conform, do not fashion alike. Example, conform to the same pattern. Okay, this is what you see, guys. You go on the internet, you see these different uh uh famous ministers, Christians, all these people, and they're conforming to the pattern of this world. It says, Don't be, don't conform yourself. Don't conform to what? The passions, the lust, the longing of what? Of your former ignorance, your willful blindness. When you were a sinner. Your old desires, your old longings. So, people, you know, you get saved, you're supposed to be transforming out of, you're set apart, right? You're supposed to be transformed out of being rebellious and and going after all your old worldly passions and trying to fit in and all this stuff. And you're supposed to be what? Transformed and conformed to what? Being obedient children to the kingdom of God, to the rulership of Jesus. And so we uh, you know, we we get uh confused by some. I I used to get really confused by people. I'd be like, wow, that person's like they they're not really acting set apart at all. They kind of just act like the world. Well, I'd go back to do they have the Holy Spirit in them? Or did they, or do they not, right? The Holy Spirit's working in the heart of believers to change you. Okay, and then there's people that are baby Christians and they remain baby Christians their whole life. Okay, we can go and uh see that in uh it was a Corinthians, uh 1 Corinthians. Um where's that at, Lord? It's uh it's easier if I use Google. I'll use Google real quick. Uh if you just go to uh Google and then you look up uh uh where was it at? Uh Paul Corinthians, and then you have the uh uh uh sinning uh our baby Christians, uh milk of word. Here we go. Here we go. So then you go to 1 Corinthians 3. 1 Corinthians 3. So in first so Corinthians is kind of a messed up church, right? These these people were pretty messed up, they were living in the flesh. So he goes, brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the spirit, but as people are still worldly. So people who are what still worldly are what me. Mere infants in Christ.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00People that are still worldly, that are not walking set apart, that are not submitting to the Lordship of Jesus as obedient children, and they're still walking in the world, the Bible clearly says they're what? Mere infants in Christ. They're very baby Christian, maybe not even saved, right? Some of them, right? That's between them and God, right? They need the Holy Spirit in them. And so as a pastor or as a ministry leader or uh a Christian, you're supposed to help other Christians get out of their diapers. But a lot of times, being in the you have people that are in their diapers teaching others in diapers to remain in their diapers. That's what I've noticed. I've noticed that there's a unfortunately, there's a lot of people teaching people that they're in their diapers teaching other, like they're babies teaching others to be babies. Right? And it's once you see it, you can't unsee it. It's like, okay, now I understand why they're like that. It's because they're babies. Guys, you want to help other believers get out of their diapers. For example, you're dealing with your friend that's dealing with an addiction. They're Christian, they're dealing with addiction. You want to teach them about the Holy Spirit in them and God's grace. Most likely they're under works-based salvation. They learned that they repented of all their sins. Then they get that, you know, then they they're now uh a Christian who who's not who's sinlessly perfect, and then the the enemy uses the law against them. Oh, you screwed up here, and then slowly brings them back into bondage with drugs or whatever, right? So you got to teach them grace that now we're dead. We died to sin. We died to the power of sin in Christ. We died. Now we're we're baptized into his death, we're resurrected in newness of life. So start teaching that person who's addicted, dealing with addiction, that first that's not them who's addicted. So if you're a born-again believer, you're no longer an alcoholic. It's not who you are, right? But people, what they do is because they've dealt with it for so long, they take identity in it, then the enemy comes and says, Look, you're not a good Christian. You keep sinning. You're this horrible Christian. Look at your sin. Look at your sin. See? But God wants you to look at Christ's sinlessness for you. Keep looking at Jesus Christ and his blood and his resurrection and Christ in you, and that you died and you're risen to newness of life, and then the addiction loses its hold. The power of sin is the law. So the enemy wants to get you under the law to condemn you, to tell you you're not good enough. He uses it's a trick. He uses something good against you. The law is good, holy, and just, right? Like in I always say, the law, there's a point to the law of Moses. It's good. Amen. But when you live in love, you fulfill the law. When you have Christ in you, you fulfill the law. The end of the law is Christ to all those who believe. Now we're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. So somebody that's addicted, dealing with something, it's their mind and their emotions that need to be renewed by the word of God that's living and active. And they have a circumcised heart by the Holy Spirit. So they don't really want to do something. That's why Paul said, if I'm sinning, it's not me sinning. If I'm doing something I don't want to do, it's not me doing it. It's sin that dwells in me. So it's an ongoing struggle people have. You're always going to have this because you're in you're in this body. Paul said, I'm still not yet perfected. But one thing I do is I forget those things behind and I press on to the prize of high calling Christ Jesus. So it's a transformation out of what? Well, Paul says it right here. A transformation out of your diapers. See? Out of your diapers. You're an infant. So when you're dealing with people, you're you're dealing with people who are what? As infants in Christ. So you can have a lot of compassion for people who are struggling. You know, they got saved in jail, maybe, and they come out and they're still struggling with homelessness or addiction or whatever. They're infants in Christ. So those people don't need you to condemn them. They need truth given by what? Love. So you always want to share the truth in love. And so you want to always lead people to Christ and who they are, what Christ made them to be a son or daughter of God. They're no longer an addict or a criminal, right? You know, if they've turned from that and they have a new nature, they're no longer a thief. They could struggle with that. That could be something that was programmed into them. Maybe they learned that from their dad or their grandpa. And so that's kind of programmed. It's kind of, you know, I was walking the other night with the Lord. I was taking little Timmy, my dog, out for a walk, and I was talking to the Lord, and you know, it's very interesting to think that we're kind of like our minds are programmed by trauma and where we live, our culture, what we believe, what was told to us. And so we're programmed like a software program. Uh, and then we act out what we believe. So if you believe you're an angry person, guess what you're gonna struggle with? Anger. If you believe you're a lustful person, guess what you're gonna struggle with? Ungodly images or lustful behaviors. So you have to disconnect, you have to reprogram yourself by the word of God. It's amazing. So you start believing that you're not a lustful person anymore, even if you struggle with it. Because if you're struggling with something, that means you know that it's not part of your new nature. Okay, a sinner will just live in it and not have any care, right? A sinner's nature is sin. So before Christ, our nature is to do dumb things, hurt people, sin all the time, get drunk all the time, uh, do a bunch of bad stuff all the time and not think anything of it. Be angry at people, get offended all the time, but then you get born again and you have a new nature, and now you're struggling with unforgiveness, you're struggling with uh drinking, you're struggling with these things. And you're like, I don't want to be like that. Why? Because you have a new nature. So if you've been circumcised in the heart, you have a new nature. So you don't have to talk people into not sinning. Like, I don't have to sit there and try to talk Christians out of not sinning. You got Christ in your body, it's not part of your nature, yo. You don't have to talk you out of it. Right? If you're born again, eventually you're gonna be chasing and it's gonna really, you know, not be a good thing. Or you're not even born again. You just want to live in sin. Sin always leads to death and decay, guys. Jesus told us that. Okay? It leads to death, perish. Your life will decay if you wanna if you want to live like that. If you live in the realm of the flesh, your life will decay. It's the way it works. Live in the spirit. How do you live in the spirit? You walk in love, you walk in faith, you walk as obedient children, you walk as submissive to the Lord Jesus Christ, you submit to God and you resist the devil. You disagree with him. He tells you you like to do this, and you know it's wrong, or you know in your heart that it's not part of who you are, and you just disagree with it. No, thanks. Not interested. And you start growing out of what? Being what? An infant. See? In this translation, brothers, I could not address you as spiritual, but as worldly, as infants in Christ. Okay, another King James says, I couldn't speak to you as spiritual, but as unto carnal, unto carnal people. You don't even understand anything yet, even as unto babes in Christ. Okay, so some of these people you're dealing with, they're babes in Christ. I don't care how long you think you've known the Lord, you could still be a baby. You could just be a you've been a baby for a really long time. It happens, guys. I meet people all the time struggling with stuff and they've they've been saved for 20 years. They're just babies. They were probably in a church run by a baby and teaching other people baby stuff. You know what I mean? And you know, it happens. There's a lot of them. It doesn't mean the person's wrong or me, you know, or meant wrong. Maybe they were just a baby they didn't understand. But you need to be set, you need to understand you're set apart by God. You're a holy person now. Anything that's telling you you're not holy, you're not set apart by God, you're not, you're not a king and a priest under the Most High, you're a sojourner, an alien on this world is a lie. They're lying to you. You're set apart. That's why you don't fit in, guys. That's why you try to fit in. I've tried to fit in, guys. I've tried to fit in with mainstream Christianity. It's hard. I've tried, guys. I've really tried. But thankfully that the Lord was with me and the Lord showed me that I'm set apart. I'm different. I got Holy Ghost television. I'm a little different, okay, guys? I was healed of schizophrenia. I had hundreds, maybe a thousand, I don't know, demons. Probably over a thousand demons tormenting me. God delivered me from this. And I've struggled with all sorts of stuff. I've been through hell and back, brainwashed by a cult leader, in all sorts of different churches, in ministry, witness so much religion and judgment, people rejecting me, people renouncing me in public, people posting lies about me. I went through so many things, and all I want to do is help people find Jesus Christ. You know, that's all I ever wanted. I cried to the Lord one time, guys. I cried, I cried to the Lord when I was schizophrenic. I was in my mom's house, and at the time uh I had agoraphobia, so I couldn't leave the home. Uh, if you don't know what agoraphobia is, it's when you're you you can't leave your house or somewhere because you think, you know, it's just fear, massive fear. It's a phobia of leaving your home. It's called agoraphobia. I was in my mother's home or her condo, and I was walking back and forth with anxiety so bad. And I remember I had this works-based mentality. I was really saved, but there was this works-based mentality. I had to earn God's love. And I felt like if I didn't lead somebody to Jesus, then I wouldn't go to heaven or whatever, right? And so I remember crying, and my heart, my heart was right. I wanted to win some, I wanted to win souls, like ever since I got saved. But it was kind of connected to I have to win a lot of souls or I'm not going to get to heaven. So that's a works-based thing, right? Anyway, I remember crying to God, like from my pure heart, as this 23, 24-year-old guy, young man. I cried, I said, God, I just please heal my brain so I can win one soul for Jesus. Please. I just want to win one soul. Look what the Lord's done with my life. One prayer. I've been to 50 countries already, guys. I've done crusades in Africa, I've been to Pakistan, Southeast Asia, I mean, all over the world, all the continents, even Australia or uh Australia too, but also Antarctica. The Lord let me go to Antarctica on a cruise one time. Okay, so anyway, he's really good. Anyway, I've been all over the world now, but I prayed that one prayer, and he saw my heart. You know, and so I've been through a lot of stuff and I've seen God's goodness. So when people call the prayer line, we have the prayer line, right? One day to know him. And you know, I answer the calls sometimes. Like I get the call on my phone because it transfers sometimes. And I'm like, hey, how's it going? Pray for him. And you know, people are in really dark places. And if you've been in ministry or if you you've just been anywhere, your family, there's people in dark places, you know. And if my testimony of saying that one little prayer, somebody out there can hear that, they're dealing with voices and they're afraid God doesn't love them or whatever, they're dealing with the disease, poverty, whatever it is, and you're praying, Lord, I, you know, and your heart is right, right? It's like just a real heart prayer. Know that God is going to answer you. He will. It might not be next year, it might be 20 years from that was 20 something years ago I prayed that prayer. So, like you could be praying something now from your heart, and God hears you, guys. You have to think of Father God as the best father ever. You've never even experienced a father on earth like Father God. Okay. In fact, Jesus said, if you being evil, okay, he called you evil. If you being evil, let's look that up. Actually, I was gonna continue with this, but let's go to let's go to that. I just want to look that up. All right, so we kind of understand the babes in Christ thing. Okay. Let's go here. I don't know what's going on with the search here. It's not working well. It's really starting to bug me. I guess I gotta go to Google. All right, ready for this? You guys ready for this? So Jesus said in Matthew 7, 11, if you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him? Guys, think of this. Jesus is saying we're evil, and we know how to give good gifts to our children. So you you love your children, right? You Christmas comes, birthdays come, you want to, especially when they're young, you want to bless them with something really cool, right? Maybe even when they're older. I don't know. I don't have children, I don't know. But I know I like to bless people with gifts. I like to, I'm just uh I I flow with blessings because it's a fruit of the spirit. Being generous and being a blessing to others is a fruit of the spirit, guys. Love is just blessings, right? Uh so you when you have love in your heart, you just want to bless people. Okay, you just want to bless. So, anyway, so you being evil know how to get good gifts. So, somebody who's a sinner knows how to get a give a good gift to uh to their kids, right? So, how much more the father of lights, right? The father of lights, there's no darkness in him, will give good things. How much more will your heavenly father give good gifts to those who ask him? Let's look that up in the Greek. Let's see what that actually, what is Jesus actually calling us? So if you, so that's us, right? That's us, who are what evil, evil, bad, wicked, malicious, slothful. Let's go look at the slip strong. There we go. Evil, grievous. All this mischievous, guilty, sinners. Think of that, guys. Jesus called us evil. You know how people are like, oh, well, that guy's a good person, he's in heaven. Well, believe it or not, Jesus was talking to Jewish believers or Jewish people who followed the law of Moses, most of them, right? And the Pharisees were there, the scribes, the disciples. Jesus was talking to everybody. So remember the Bible says that our filthy, our our righteousness to God's righteousness is what? But filthy rags. So when we have these religions that try to say, Oh, I do a lot of stuff, I care for people, I pray this much, I fast, I don't eat this, I do a lot of things. In the eyes of God, a holy God, those works, when they go to judgment day at the great white throne, are as filthy rags compared to Christ's righteousness. So a human in their flesh is considered evil by God. Why? Because of Adam's transgression, we inherited sinful human nature, and so no matter how hard you try to be good in God's eyes, you're not. Does that make sense? Overall, I mean you could do good things, and there's you know good stuff, but overall, we are seen as needing Jesus, so we're all considered sinners, so we're all evil in his eyes before Christ. And then Christ imputes his righteousness to make us good because God is good and God lives in us, and we're dead. We died with Christ, now we're we have God in us, and so we're born again, and now we're accepted in the beloved. Why? Because we did a bunch of stuff, that's why we're not saved by works. If we could work ourselves into heaven, then Christ didn't need to die. So you're not saved by your behavior, just like you're not, you're not, um you're not keeping yourself saved by your behavior. Your behavior is how you believe. Your but your behavior shows how you believe. So somebody that lives in sin, they believe wrong. So a Christian that is a baby Christian, they're they're not mature in what knowledge, they don't understand yet. See? And so they behave in how they feel and think in their unregenerated part of their body or their soul, and then their flesh does stuff. So you struggle because you believe wrong. And so that's why at our website you can go to 30 Days to Believing Right. We have those currently on our website. You can go there or YouTube or whatever. It's called 30 Days to Believe Right. I have a new book I wrote, 30 Days to Believe Right. It's a devotional. You can get it on Amazon or at our website. We have a lot of resources to help you understand. You have to believe correctly to be set free, truly. You have to embrace the truth of Jesus, what he did for you, to truly walk in transformation and freedom. You can go to a meeting and get delivered from something. I've done that, I've been delivered from something, but it'll slowly start coming back upon you if you don't renew your mind on the truth. So you can be delivered from rage, and then the enemy can start attacking you to try to rebuild the stronghold. So it's warfare. So think of the enemy like trying to rebuild these bricks inside of your mind and your emotions. So he'll put people in your life to get you to flare up and to give in to his temptation. Then you, if you don't believe correctly, then you start condemning yourself and it strengthens it more, more attacks come, and then it rebuilds. And pretty soon, two years after the conference you went to, you're dealing with rage again. You don't understand why. And now you feel like you're not saved anymore because you're you're dealing with a past sin. See, it's all a trick. So get that deliverance, get that healing, and then renew your mind on the truth. Renew your mind that that thing's not coming back. Once that that thing's gone, you're not going to receive it again. You're not going to fall for the lies that you're under the law and you have to perform to make God love you. A lot of people think you have to perform, you don't have to perform to get healed by God. You don't have to perform to be delivered. You have to believe the truth and you have to surrender, right? You have to be submissive to Jesus of Nazareth. Obedient, right? As obedient children. Understand your set apart. Understand that God is for you. Most people don't believe God's for them. I just read that scripture there. It said, if you being evil, God already knows you're messed up. So just embrace that. God knows I've made some bad choices in life. God knows I can't work myself into stuff. I've tried. You know, maybe you want to, your, your heart is you want to prosper. Everybody wants to prosper. You want to prosper, but you never went to college. You don't know about business. You don't know about investing. You don't know about anything. All you work, uh, let's say you're just a mechanic at a there's nothing wrong with being a mechanic, but let's say you're just a mechanic at a discount tire. All you know is to do tires. That's all you know. God can still prosper you. He can still do it. It's not like you have to figure out how to prosper. Everybody's trying to figure out the next business idea, you have to figure out all Stuff. No, you just have to submit to Jesus and realize that real prosperity is the presence of the Holy Ghost. So the real prosperity in life is not to be Jeff Bezos and float around in a yacht. That's not real prosperity. You have a big house with a golf course and back. That's worldly prosperity, and that's possible, I guess, with the Lord if you want that. And if that's what he's called you to have. But true prosperity, guys, you have to get this is that deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit of God. That is where you're going to find peace. You're going to find blessing beyond anything you ever dreamed. You're going to find the love of your entire soul. You're the lover of your soul. You're going to find unlimited love and satisfaction and joy and peace beyond anything you ever dreamed. You're going to finally be free from worry of all the stuff all these worldly people think about. I used to be worried about wars and rumors of wars. I used to worry about nuclear war. I used to worry about disease. I used to worry about debt. I used to worry about all these things. You know? And then I started encountering the Holy Ghost, encountering the Father, and realizing, you know what? Nothing matters but Jesus. Nothing matters but Him. Nothing matters but God Almighty. Nothing, guys. And when you get there, then you're not going to chase your idols. You're not going to chase all the stuff you thought you wanted. You know, when I was younger, I thought I wanted all this stuff. Oh, I want a big ministry. Oh, I want this. Oh, I got to have this. Oh, I got, I got to have this. I got to do this. I was chasing all these things. I got to have a 401k. I got to do this. Lord, I gotta. I gotta have a wife. I gotta have all these things. And then I just realized that in his presence is fullness of joy, and at his right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Nothing in this world can ever satisfy you like the Holy Spirit. Nothing. Nothing, guys. I know the enemy's telling you in your mind, what are you talking about? No, I'm telling you. Nothing in this world could ever satisfy you like God. Because it's here in your inner man. Okay? It's here. And so I want to encourage you to encounter the spirit. And so if you maybe you don't know how to pray that well, write a letter. I tell people, write a letter to God. You know? And you know, write a letter. Maybe you just go for a walk. Maybe hiking is your thing. Go hiking with the Lord. Amen. You you know, there's a lot of different ways to connect with God. It's not like you have to sit on your knees and pray a perfect prayer to minister, you know, to get to God. I remember a minister years ago, famous minister was talking about how he spends his time with God and how he did it, you know, how he does it. And so guess what I did? I that's so funny. I tried to do it, right? I tried to, you know, I heard what he said. I was like, I'm gonna do it. So I did it for like three, four days at night, and then I'd I'd start worshiping God, like, you know, worshiping God like he kind of told me, you know, told me or told people how to do it. I was trying to trying to do what he did. And I'd fall asleep, and I woke up and I'd be sad. I'd be like, oh Lord, I I failed. I didn't encounter you like like that person said they did. What's wrong with me? You know, condemning myself. Because guys, I I've come through a lot of condemnation, a lot of condemnation. And so one thing I I don't like to hear is people condemning Christians, right? For you know, struggles and things like that. Absolutely, if you're rebelling, I'm gonna tell you you're stupid, right? And warn you, right? The Bible is there to warn you. You want to go the right way. You don't want to perish, you don't want to decay, you don't want to die early, right? Why? Don't you want to fulfill what God has for you? I don't care where you're at, God, God has a plan for you. I don't care if you're sitting in a hospital room, God still has a plan for you. So, anyway, uh, I I did all this and I got really tired, and then I started getting sad. I was like, Oh, I'm never gonna be anointed like that person or have encounters like that person said they did. And because I don't pray like they they do, I can't do what they did. It's just so tiring, you know, it just seems like so much. And you it was really work. I felt like I was working, like hard working, you know, like working out trying to get to God. I remember sitting there, I feel like the Lord's like, uh, what why are you doing that? Well, why don't you you know how you like to pray, like how I like to posture myself and things. I'm like, oh yeah, I never thought of that, Lord. That's how I felt like the Lord told me. And so I went back to what I was doing before because it works, it's because what the Lord has for me. See, you're not me, guys. You're not me. I'm not you. So God has something for you. You can take from me, you know, you can take my teachings or my encouragement, but you're not gonna be like me. You're gonna be you, you're gonna have your own testimonies in your own uh special times with God, and God's gonna tell you things that maybe he didn't tell me, right? In that secret place. Wait till he speaks to you in the secret place, it'll blow your mind. Right? You know, there's things that God tells you in the secret place that you don't tell anybody. You just don't. A lot of things I feel like the Lord has told me, I don't even share any of it because people won't even understand. You know what I mean? You you wouldn't believe how good God is. You would never believe how good God is. Hopefully, you do someday. I mean, it's hard for me to believe it. Guys, we have a free ministry app. Did you know that? Go download it. The ministry is called the Father's Friends. Guys, God loves you so much, and through Jesus, everything is possible. Okay, I'm gonna pray for people. Uh, I'm gonna pray for those watching. I know discouragement is a huge one, and discouragement used to trick me, and I dealt with discouragement for so long. Okay, I dealt with discouragement for so long, guys. Uh, if you are blessed by the broadcast, if you're blessed by the ministry, you can become a ministry supporter. Super easy to do. Even five dollars a month helps a ministry. We get a thousand five dollars a month supporters, that's five thousand dollars a month. We can win a lot of souls. So thank you so much for your supported ministry, for your generosity. And uh thank you. Praise God. All right. So, uh, what was I talking about, guys? I just missed it. I was talking about something uh uh right before that. Um the app. What was I saying though? Oh, Lord, I missed it. What was it? Secret place of God. Oh, praise God. Oh, I was gonna pray for you. That's what it was. Thank you. We're gonna I'm gonna pray for you. Uh but oh, discouragement. So discouragement, thank you, Lord. So discouragement, discouragement kind of pulls on you, right? It feels like the way I describe discouragement is the kind of way it used to, I felt like it was. It was kind of like if I had long hair and like discouragement kind of grabbed the bottom of the hair, let's say. Let's say I had really long hair, and like discouragement grabbed, like in my soul, let kind of try to envision it. This is how I envision it. Like it would grab on the bottom of my hair, and it would just kind of pull, and it's trying to pull itself up to the top of my hair, like if I had really long hair, right? That's kind of how like you don't feel it immediately, right? It's not like boom, I'm so discouraged. It's usually kind of a creeper, right? That's how I used to deal with it. So it would creep, and I'd kind of eventually it would just take me out, and I would just be depressed for two days, discouraged, right? And then I started learning that the word of God can divide, right? And then I started learning that encouragement, God is the God of all encouragement, and I started realizing that discouragement, because it guys, this was like a process where I didn't, no one ever, no one ever told me like discouragement isn't you, except the Lord, I feel like. Like this is, I had to do this all myself, like not myself, but you know what I mean? Like I had to start learning this, and like there was nobody telling me, hey, this isn't your this isn't your personality, or this isn't who you really are. Like I was learning this like from being an ex-schizophrenic person, like somebody who used to deal with schizophrenia and all these different personalities and fears and phobias and discouragement and ungodly lusts and all this addiction, stuff, all these things. I had to come out of it and God had to direct me out of it. And I had help along the way. I'm thankful for the people who helped me and the teachings I've received, but really it was the Holy Spirit that taught me everything, right? And so, like, once like I got this revelation one day that discouragement isn't me. And I'm like, discouragement isn't me. The feeling, what I'm saying is the feeling is real. I'm not saying you don't have a fee, you don't you can't deal with a feeling, but know that the feeling is connected to a lie. And when you realize that it's connected to a lie, then the feeling is a lie. Because in reality, God is the God of all encouragement, and encouragement is who you are because God lives in you, and discouragement is what people of the world deal with, or the flesh, and you're dead. So is discouragement truly your new nature? See? And I learned this, and I was like, I one day I just got it, I was like, wow, and I just decided I will not be discouraged anymore. Discouragement is not me. This is uh, I don't know exactly how long ago it was. It was a while ago, a long while ago, but I just learned I just decided. Discouragement is not my personality, and so then that thing would try to grab on the bottom of my hair or whatever spiritually, right? And I could discern and go, wait a second, that's not me. So then what did I do? I was submitting to God, the truth, and then I was resisting the devil, I was disagreeing with him. So in your life, you can do that with anything. So start doing that with discouragement. You feel that heavy discouragement come on you. Just think of that thing as grabbing that long hair, trying to pull itself up onto your head or whatever, trying to grab pull you down. Just disagree with it. Hold on a second. That feeling, I take that thought of discouragement, I take that feeling of discouragement, I take this stuff captive. I grind, I grab that stuff and I take it right to the obedience of Christ. Christ crucified, the blood of the Lamb. I'm righteous, I'm not discouraged, I'm a new creation. Boom! And you destroy that thing. And pretty soon the enemy's like, ah, discouragement doesn't work that much in that person. Let's use something else. And then he'll find a new weapon, he'll try to, he'll use another weapon, and then you just do the same thing with that. Remember the battles in your mind and in your emotions, your soul. That's where this whole battle is. And Apostle John said, What? Beloved, I pray that you be in health and you prosper just as your soul is prospering. Your soul, your mind, your emotions is prospering. You're no longer an infant. Stop seeing yourself as this sinner. I'm just gonna struggle. I'm gonna be just angry, religious, judging people, unforgiving. I'm just I got doubt. I got unbelief.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I got unbelief. I got this. That's not you. You can deal with unbelief. You can deal with sinful behaviors, things that you don't like. You can deal with character flaws. Absolutely. But don't take identity in it. Realize that you're in Romans 6, 7, 8, right? Uh, you know, your spirit man wants to love, but your flesh, this soul that you're dealing with, wants to hate. And so it's who you're gonna submit to? Are you gonna submit to the devil and go hate people and get offended at church people and gossip and rage at your pastor and God, you know, all this stuff? Or are you gonna submit to Jesus and love your neighbors yourself and care for the brethren? Guys, remember a true born-again mature Christian loves the brethren. That's how you can tell if somebody's a real mature Christian, they actually love the brethren. They love the brethren. Fake teachers and pastors, fake false people, they use people as merchandise. They see them as they can get money from them. You can pay us a tithe, you can, you know, not everybody does that, but you know, you pay us a tithe, they try to sell you a bunch of stuff all the time, get you to follow them, to give money more money, more money, more money, right? They're making you merchandise, but a mature believer, a mature person in Christ, truly loves the brethren, actually really cares about people, especially the body of Christ. The body of Christ is very, very beloved of God. Amen. And so my job is what? To get you out of infancy. That's my job. I'm trying to get you out of infancy so you don't have to watch me anymore, where you can go encounter the Holy Ghost whenever you want, where you can go win souls for Jesus, where you can start your own Christian network, where you can go do your hospital ministry, your jail ministry, where you can do your business, your family, whatever God has for you. But you're not supposed to be a baby for the rest of your life. You need to mature. And you do that by truth, encountering the truth, encountering the spirit, encountering the truth, renewing your mind and believing God is good. Believe God loves you. Even in your darkest hours, God loves you, He cares about you, He has planned for you. He's not gonna let you go because you made a mistake. You might have to suffer because you made a mistake, because you went out sinning. You might have to, you know, deal with deal with the the problem you created. But God can restore, God can heal. Repentance is about changing your mind. So repent today. Change your mind. Go from darkness to light. Stop listening to the devil. Start listening to God. Amen. All right, so I'm gonna pray for you, Father. Uh, just receive, okay? Just sit there, receive. Uh, father, I thank you for your people. They are precious to you. And Lord, the the honor for me to be able to teach people and to encourage them in their faith. It's just so wonderful, Lord. And Lord, I ask that those out there that can receive from your presence, that they would receive from you now, God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. God, you promise, your word says, that where two or three are gathered. There you are in the midst, Lord. And I know you're here with us. And Lord, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father. And Lord, I pray for those needing healing. I speak to their bodies in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, and I command their bodies to be healed supernaturally. I command healing to come forth by the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I command miracles to go forth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I ask for those that want to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that they would receive and that they would start speaking in tongues supernaturally, Lord, their prayer language, that you'd bless them right now with the presence of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I command every evil spirit to leave anybody that needs deliverance. I command every evil spirit to leave them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I thank you, Lord, for the power of your name and your word. Glorify yourself through these people. Glorify the Lord Jesus, Father. Glorify Jesus through your people. Help them. Amen. Jesus' mighty name. Thank you. Jesus Christ's name. Thank you, God, for the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, that you're the Messiah. That you are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord. Let your name be glorified throughout all the earth.
unknownAmen.
