In Spirit Stream #53, Nick Griemsmann shares a transparent teaching on trusting God's sovereignty in every season of life — the valleys (trials and pruning) and the mountains (victories and blessings). He explains how God uses both to build character, draw us closer to Him, and produce lasting fruit through the Holy Spirit.

Discover powerful truths about:
• God's absolute sovereignty — questioning "why" is futile; reverence Him as Creator who commands nature (Job 38)
• Life's valleys are temporary and work for our good (Romans 8:28); greater blessings often come after the trial (Job 42:12)
• Sanctification: Your spirit is instantly perfected by Jesus' one sacrifice, while your soul (mind & emotions) is renewed day by day
• Escaping self-effort, self-righteousness, and fear-based doctrines
• Resting in grace, surrendering control, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead spontaneously
• Overcoming negativity by shifting perspective and declaring God's promises

Nick shares personal testimonies of deliverance from schizophrenia, voices, depression, and performance Christianity. He also recounts a powerful healing testimony of vocal cord paralysis being supernaturally restored through persistent prayer and faith.

This stream is full of practical wisdom, gentle encouragement, and a strong call to full surrender and intimacy with God.

🙏 Watch until the end for anointed prayer!

This switched over. Hey. Think it switched over. I was looking at the you can look at the streaming software. Because I pretty much do all this myself, the streaming software and everything. I like things really simple and easy. Hi guys. Welcome aboard, Nick Grimsman here. I like things really simple and easy. I don't like to complicate things. Really a lot. People complicate things. Holy Ghost Television, Nick Grimsman. I am your host. Hello. So yeah, so hi Martine over on Facebook. She says, Hi, Nick. Glad Facebook is letting you live stream again. Yeah, for a while, uh Holy Ghost Television was uh not allowed to live stream on Facebook. I don't know exactly why, but they let me back on. Praise God. Hey, so uh uh yeah, so I like things um easy. I guess I shouldn't say easy, I mean not complicated. I found that the Lord uh makes things not complicated for us so that we can rest in his presence and rest in our lives. We're supposed to be resting in him so that he can do the works through us. And uh, you know, it's real easy to use your carnal mind and make everything very complicated, you know. Like, for example, I could have a bunch of volunteers here doing the lighting and doing everything and all that stuff, but then uh then I'm gonna have to uh you know, uh, I couldn't just jump on whenever I felt led to do it. I would maybe only do one broadcast a month or a month or every two weeks or something because everybody's scheduled and all that stuff. So I like doing stuff easy and simple, um uh just to make it uh, you know, uh uh more of a flow instead of a production. You know what I mean? I think there's a time and place for production, don't get me wrong. Just for me right now, I like to just flow with the Lord and drink some tea and uh hang out with everybody. So, how is everything um uh everything going with everybody? This is kind of my new little setup here. I got this little um this little area here where you see the camera, and then over on that side you see the comments. I did that because I like to read the comments, uh, especially right now where we don't have like thousands of comments coming through really fast, so I get to hang out, people talk with you. This is the spirit stream. Uh eventually I'll have different types of shows on Holy Ghost television. This is where we're starting. You're at uh you're basically seeing the beginning of something wonderful that the Lord is doing through the Father's Friends Ministry. And then also, what's pretty cool is that I think I can do it this way. I can uh click, let's see, right here. I can click right here, and I can go to my screen share and we can go and talk in uh uh about the Bible. We can study the Bible together because you you know, we learn a lot of things. Um, we learn a lot of things that are extra biblical that somebody made up somewhere or a denomination made up. So I don't know why, you know, maybe it's to confuse you, maybe it's to lead us away from grace or God's word, or they just didn't know they did it. But how many things have you learned that were not actually in the Bible? One that I learned, I'll just uh say it, was that I I owed back tithes for when I didn't tithe or something when I was younger. I learned back tithes. Can you believe that? And so here I was, a young man. I was just coming out of schizophrenia, and I hear this mainstream uh person on television say that if you didn't tithe when you're a baby Christian, you now owe back tithes. And I was under the doctrine of if you don't tithe, then you're cursed and God hates you and all that stuff, right? Uh so I was very fearful about uh being uh low on my tithe or whatever, right? And so I would give like 25 cents or a dollar more every paycheck or whatever. I was, I think it was on Social Security or something at the time or whatever. Uh this is years ago, 20 years ago, or whatever. And I remember looking at it and thinking, oh, I hope I did the 10% right. I want to go a little bit over because I don't want to, you know, I don't want to uh be cursed, you know. And God had to, you know, show me through his word uh that we are no longer under the old covenant system that was designed for Israel, right? We are in the new covenant, and it just it just took time for me to learn that. And a lot of times uh we we get we uh we hear things that are kind of mixing grace and law, and we get confused. You know, I used to think that my job was to um try to keep the Ten Commandments, you know, that was what I was supposed to do, keep the Ten Commandments. But you're actually when you start focusing on the things that you're not supposed to do, you know, your uh rules and all that stuff, guess what happens? You're focusing on the wrong thing, you're focusing on your flesh and on yourself. So you get into self-effort. So the commandments are good and holy and and perfect, but man in themselves cannot keep the commandments because why? Because of this thing, fallen nature. So if you try to um be self-righteous, oh, I don't do this, I don't do that, and you're resting on that, then sin is going to flare up and you're gonna break more commandments. So the answer is Christ in you, the hope of glory, and that everything is fulfilled in Christ, and now you can rest in his perfection that lives inside of you. By one sacrifice, he has perfected forever those who have been made holy. So you have been made holy, and now you're going through a sanctification process in your soul. Okay, so think of it this way: your spirit is new, your heart is new, and now you're going through a sanctification process. Sanctification is one time, and it's a process in a way. Does that make sense? So you are holy by the blood of Jesus forever, sanctified, holy, set apart, right? And then there's this internal thing that's changing you from your old mindset, your old emotions, and how you believe and think and feel to start operating the mind of Christ. It's like a flower growing, like you're growing, right? So the flower is, let's say, the flower is a pink rose, okay? So it is a pink rose, even when it's in the dirt and still dirty and growing and growing. It's always a pink rose, right? Uh, but the enemy wants you to believe that you're just this weed, you know. Oh, well, you're not a pink rose, you're a weed, right? He's trying to confuse the let's let's just I'm just using an example, like if you can if you can get it. So you got this rose growing, but before it can see that it's a rose, the enemy or a voice tells it, no, you're a weed. And so you start, you know, thinking you're a weed and then you're no good, or whatever, right? So, in the same way, the enemy tries to tell you that you're not really righteous, or you're not really free, or you're not really loved, or you're you're uh, you know, you're this horrible person, or whatever, because he's trying to get you to focus on what you're doing, your behavior. And when you focus on your behavior, you're just empowering more negative behaviors. And it starts in your soul, your mind and your emotions. And this is a lot of teachings I do, is really about how do you uh overcome those big feelings and those mindsets that are dragging you down. Because the enemy, what he does, the devil comes, you know, and he shows you things, you know, the giants in you know, in the promised land. There's these huge giants, and look, we're the only the size of grasshoppers, and uh we're the size of grasshoppers, we can never defeat the the giants. But what Caleb and Joshua came back and said, No, you know, we can do this because God is on our side. So God is on your side in your battle, and walking with the Lord is valleys and mountains. You're not going to just get saved and everything is uh hunky-dory. I don't know if people even use that word anymore. But like you're not gonna, you're not gonna get saved, and everything's gonna be perfect the rest of your life. You're gonna go through things. You are supposed to stand on God's word. You're supposed to stand on the promises. See, the promises of God are your weapons. So God promises healing, God promises blessings, prosperity, health, relationships, eternal life, forgiveness, all this stuff, deliverance. He promises all these things. Our job is to hold on to those promises while we go through the valleys. So you go through the valley, eventually you get to the mountaintop. So when you're in the mountaintop, somebody might call and say, Oh, uh, Brother Nick, you, you know, you're uh you're, you know, I prayed, you know, you prayed for me, and wow, I got deliverance or I got healing or I got through this mess, and wow, I'm just on the top, you know, I'm super happy right now, I'm super, and I always let them know, hey, praise God, but remember, you overcame in the valley, and so now this is a mountaintop. Remember the mountaintop experiences because the valleys will come again. Okay, the valley, you don't have to be afraid of the valleys coming again because God's with you always. So I've learned that everything works together for good. So everything in your life is going to work together for good. Another thing is is that God does what he wants to do. God is sovereign, God uh he hardens who he will, he has mercy on who he will. We we can't look at God and go, why did this happen to me, or why did you do this to me? Why did you create this way? Why, why, why, why, why? God is God. So you have to get that reverence uh in your heart, right? In your mind, that God is God, and we really have no right to question why he does what he wants to do, like in the book of Job, right? In the book of Job, let's go to the book of Job. That's a good one. Let's go there real quick. Uh, how do I get there? Uh remove that. Then I gotta go here. Let me see if this works. Um, can you see it? Hopefully you can see it, right? Okay, I'm trying here. So I go up here, let's go to the book of Job. And I think it's 38. I think that's where it starts. Maybe not, might be wrong. All right, here we go. So let's see if it comes up on the screen. Okay, so you can kind of see it. How do I can I move this? Enable zoom and scroll. Let's see what that is. Oh, I can do this. Can I oh, I can't move it over. That's weird. All right, no, that's not gonna work. Sorry, guys. I'm just getting used to this. Okay, so let's start here. Job 38, 1. Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. Okay, so imagine Job. Here's this guy who you know, he's pretty much perfect in his own righteousness. He he does his best to keep the law. The Bible says he's perfect, or he was righteous, right? So he was a he was a good man, he lived a righteous life. Um, he he was afraid that God, you know, that his kids might be sinning, so he was even doing sacrifices to God for his kids. And, you know, remember the story? Satan comes to uh God and says, hey, uh Job only uh only you know only uh serves you because you bless him so much. And so then they kind of made a deal. Hey, well, you can take everything from Job except spare his life. So what did Satan do? Killed his children, okay? So his children, I mean, think of Job here, killed his children, uh, took his business, took all his cattle, his camels, everything, uh, took all his money, destroyed his property, his house. All that was left was his wife, and all she did was tell him to curse God and die. Then his health was destroyed. He had boils. Uh let's look that up real quick. I want to look that up real quick, guys. I want to see if I can do that. Does this come up on here? No, I gotta change it. Um let's see. Oh, yeah, I'm probably not gonna show that. The boils are pretty gross. You can look it up yourself if you want. So he had these boils all over his skin, right? So imagine Job sitting there and he's got boils, these painful boils all over his skin. It says that his bones are on fire, everything like that. Okay, so this guy's lost everything. So then, and he's questioning stuff, and his friends are talking to him, right? You know the story, you've read it, hopefully. If not, read it tonight. Job 38. Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. Okay, who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words or without knowledge? See that? I don't know how to move this over, guys. I'm sorry. It's fine though, right? I'll I'll uh try to do it next time. Okay. Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Or who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? King James, who is this that darkens counsel? Darkens counsel by words and knowledge. What does that actually mean? Who is this who obscures, who darkens my counsel, my words, my discourse without oh, basically he's negative about it, right? Uh without knowledge, okay. So who is this that's uh is doing this? Brace yourself like a man, right? Because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. Okay, so now this is God talking to Job. So this is God Almighty here, guys. Okay, so imagine you are going through something and you're complaining to God and you're in your emotions and da-da-da-da-da. Trust me, I've done it many times, but encourage yourself today in Job 38. Where were you when I laid the earth's foundations? Okay, right there. Where were you when God when God uh created the earth? Where were you? Tell me if you understand. Okay, so in your little brain, in our brains, we get upset with God, but we weren't even here. We don't even know where we were at, right? When the earth was created. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying land? Who stretched a measuring line across it? Who fixed the earth's measurements? Or who supports the foundations and who laid its cornerstone? While the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy. Where were we? Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth the womb? Okay, so he goes into all this stuff when I made the clouds its garment wrapped in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place. Who, when I said this this far you come and no further, here's where your proud waves halt. Okay, so then he goes in. So so Job is uh so God is telling Job, hey, I commanded all these things, I made all this stuff. Where were you, man? Have you ever given orders to the morning or shown the dawn its place? Have you ever commanded the morning to appear? I mean, think of this question. Next time you're like getting upset with God about a situation or about something going on in your life or whatever, you start feeling like you want to just complain. Think about this. Have you ever commanded the morning sunshine to appear? I mean, that's that's that's I mean, that gives me a great reverence or fear of God. Have you ever commanded the morning to appear? And that's pretty interesting, huh? I want you to get a different perspective so that you can step out of your negativity. Because the negativity it eats it starts to eat at your life. Okay? Negativity eats at your life, those negative emotions, those self-condemning emotions, the self-hatred, depression, discouragement, anxiety, all these things start eating at your life. It starts to decay your life, decay your uh your flesh, everything. You suffer from depression for a really long time, your whole life can decay, right? Okay, so I'm trying to help you get a different perspective. So if you help people, if you're somebody that helps people and they come to you and you talk to your friends or whatever, and they're asking for advice and things, help them get a different perspective. Maybe ask them. Have you ever commanded the morning to come into being? All right. Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth? And the wicked be shaken out of it. Might spread the ends of the earth and shake the wicked out of it. The earth takes shape like clay under seal. Its features stand out like those of a garment. Okay. My neighbor decided to start vacuuming upstairs as I'm doing this little uh broadcast here. So praise God for that. Uh the light disturbs the wicked and stops the arm that is raised in violence. Okay, so he's now he's going into wisdom. Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? Have you entered into the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? He's literally asking Job here, have you been to the springs inside the springs of the sea? I don't know what that means exactly. Springs of the sea, uh, basically the starting points of the sea, right? Have you journeyed to the vents? Yeah, fountain of the sea. Okay, that's why I like uh Bible Hub. This, I mean, I'm not like putting it out there, I'm not like affiliated with Bible Hub, but I like how you can just go up here and you can click the Hebrew and you can start reading the Hebrew. Have you journeyed? So have you come to or go to the vents, which is a fountain of the sea, or walked in the trenches of the deep, the abyss. Okay, that's that's why oh, you can't really see it on here. I gotta fix this. I'm sorry, guys. Um, let me see if I can do this. No, that's not gonna help. How do I move it? Well, let me move it. Okay, well, I'll fix that next time. Anyway, that's why I like Bible Hub, because you can go through uh you can go through all you can click Hebrew uh or the Greek and you can read it, okay? You don't have to be like a Greek scholar, Hebrew scholar, because it's all right here. You can also use AI or whatever to search things and learn different wordings and things. So what I get from Job right here is basically Job's going through a horrible thing, right? You're going through a horrible thing, or your family, or whatever, and you're looking at God, why God, and then you maybe get upset with God or think God left you or God's not good, and then God just asks Job these questions. I mean, honestly, have you been to the depths of the sea? Have you explored down into the abyss, the deepest parts of the sea? You ever been there? No, you haven't, just like I haven't. Okay. So the the neat thing though, so once you get that different perspective, you're um you're you can snap out of the negativity, okay? You can snap out of the negativity. That's what is destroyed that tries to destroy your life, is the negative thoughts that lead you to negative emotions that pulls you into unbelief. Because remember, we're in a fight of faith. You are in a fight of faith. Are you gonna believe that God is good, just like Caleb and Joshua? We can defeat those caterpillars, uh we can defeat the giants. We're not like caterpillars, or uh not caterpillars, grasshoppers, like the other ten said. Are you the are you the unbelieving ten? Or are you the two people, right? Caleb and Joshua said, you know what? They're gonna encourage themselves in the Lord, just like David did. He encouraged himself in the Lord. So if you're going through something or you you try to get a different perspective and look at how God has come through for you in different mountaintops or different valleys. Okay, so you're in one valley today. What did God do for You in the in the in the in the past valley, and how did you get to that next mountaintop? See, so God's always faithful to you. I mean, I remember dealing with voices in my head, I remember dealing with schizophrenia, all these medications I had to take. I I remember dealing with uh depression, deep dark darkness. I remember dealing with addictions to cigarettes, I remember dealing with addictions to looking at stuff on the computer. I remember hating myself. I remember all these feelings of rejection I used to have. I remember all the ego I used to have, all you know, that effect in my relationships and my friends and stuff and my ministry. Okay, I remember all this stuff, but God got me through it all. So the more you go through the valleys, right? Mountain valley, mountain valley, pretty soon you have all these testimonies. And that's when your anointing increases. That's when your ministry starts, uh, you start seeing where you're supposed to be in ministry, you start having faith for bigger things, like I'm believing for a building for the ministry. You know, I used to look at people uh for uh, you know, I used to look at people for finances and oh, I gotta, you know, ask everybody to sow or give to the ministry, and then I learned that God is my supplier, you know. God can tell somebody out there to give $100,000 of ministry just like that. I don't have to beg people or ask people or try to manipulate people. God is in control of Holy Ghost television, the father's friends. And so I just learned that through going through valleys, mountains, getting on the mountaintop, looking back, going, glory to God, go next valley, go to the next valley, go to the mountaintop, glory to God, go to the next valley. And pretty soon you're a trained soldier. Pretty soon you're a trained soldier. But what happens is you get in the valley and then you go negative, and then the enemy just keeps bombarding you with arrows, just like in a battle. You know, you get in the valley, and let's say there's sidewalls, and the enemy gets there. You know, let's say you're fighting some enemies or whatever, you got uh in the physical, and you they got the bow and arrows up there at the top of the mountain, or the rifles, and they're shooting at you, and you are down the valley getting nailed. Okay, and that's how it feels sometimes. And so I'm not um making you know uh light of your battle because a lot of people are battling with a lot of bad stuff. For example, someone that messaged the ministry, uh, they've messaged a ministry uh several times for prayer. They're dealing with a bunch of stuff, but we uh so they've been going through valley and valley. But today I got a message that says, You prayed for me many things. Uh one, my voice has been attacked for almost a year. Uh I've uh battled and I've relied on prayer, and this person says, My voice has returned. So their voice was going out like it was um the docs said the vocal cord was paralyzed, so this person has been going through vocal cord damage or paralyzation of the vocal cord. I don't even I don't even understand it, but it says, Through prayer, it has resurrected. I can't thank you enough for prayers of faith. This is what this has just came in to the ministry, okay. Um, can't really see on the screen, but uh I can't thank you enough for prayers of faith, and then they say praise, praise, praise, and they think they uh cite it. Okay, so prayer gets you through stuff, okay. The word gets you through things, okay, and you valley, mountain, valley, mountain. So now this person that would just message ministry is in a mountaintop experience, they've just received this supernatural healing. That's what they said. That the doctor said their vocal cords were paralyzed, okay? That's scary. That person was dealing with a deep valley, okay? A deep valley, and what did they do? They persevered in believing that God was going to heal them. They'd email for prayer. I'm sure that they probably go to a church that was praying for them, and they got healed. And so then the valley is done with. They overcame in the valley, now they're in their mountaintop experience. So, what happens then? Another valley could come into the person's life. You don't want to always think bad stuff are going to happen to you, but you want to just the fact is you live in a fallen world. And the fact is, is that uh Apostle Paul even said he looked forward to tribulations, he looked forward to afflictions because he knew that they worked patience and they worked godliness inside of them, okay? And perseverance and character, okay. So, character is what God's about. So, so he wants you to have a character. I really truly believe that what we deal with in this side of eternity, um, character building, I think character is a really strong, strong one. I think God is really after us having good character as Christians, having good character for the new earth. Amen. And I think that's how it works. There's gonna be a new earth, a new heaven, and we're gonna have character, and we've been trained uh in righteousness here on earth and how to love people, how to forgive, how to be patient and kind, because those are the fruits of the Holy Ghost. Okay? All right, so anyway, so then Job. Job goes on in the last um the last uh uh the last thing he says, Job uh says, I know that you can do anything and no one can stop you. Okay, so I know that you can do all things that no plan of yours can be thwarted. King James, I know that thou can do anything, and that no thought can be withholding from me. And I know that you can do all things, and that no plan is impossible for you. That's a pretty good translation. I like that. Look at that, guys. I know so. Job, after this whole experience, he hears from God, gets the gets the reverence of God, he's like, wow. He says, I know that you can do all things, and that no plan is impossible for you. I know that you can do all things. So change that perspective if you're going through something. Oh, it looks impossible. I'm not gonna be able to get out of debt. Oh, this person is sick in my family, oh uh, nobody likes me. Oh, I need to find a job, oh, I don't have a car. I know that God can do all things, and that no plan is impossible for him. So no purpose that he has for your life can be thwarted. That's basically what it says, right? If God says in his word that he has good plans for you, plans to prosper you, to give you hell, to give you future, all these things. Who's gonna thwart that plan? Who can do that? If God spoke that, okay. So God is good and he has some sort of plan for you. Just because it doesn't look like you think it was gonna look like, or you're going through stuff and you're in this valley, doesn't mean there's not gonna be mountaintops, doesn't mean there's not gonna be blessings, amen? Doesn't mean you're not gonna feel joy again or have that relationship that you always wanted, or whatever. Doesn't mean any of that. See, you're you're in your carnal brain, you're in or your carnal mind, right? You're in your brain, you're thinking, oh my gosh, so scary. The economy and gas price, you know, gas prices are super high. You know, they're really high right now. There's a war going on or whatever. Who cares? I got the Holy Ghost, right? It doesn't matter what's going on in the world. Gas prices go to $50 a gallon. I got the Holy Ghost. God will always make sure I can get to where I need to go. See, that's the kind of attitude you need to have. That's a faith attitude, right? And if everything goes down, oh well, I can I can go anywhere. The Bible says we should be content with what? Food and clothing. That's what it really says, food and clothing. You should be what? Happy with these. See, everything else is just an added blessing. Amen. Get a different perspective. Then things don't freak you out anymore. Oh my gosh, my stocks went down. Oh no, they went down 4%. Wow, scary. I have food and clothing. I don't care about the world system. I don't care. There's nothing wrong with stocks and all this. I'm just trying to give you uh a little different perspective so you can trust God. You need to be able to trust the living God, the savior of all mankind. You need to be able to trust Jesus as his word. He'll never leave you nor forsake you. Do you believe that? Do you truly believe that you were forgiven at the cross of everything? Do you truly believe that when you uh feel that you have uh sinned, that you can confess that to God, and that he forgives you of that sin and he cleanses you of all unrighteousness? Do you believe that you walk in fellowship with the Most High? Do you believe that you have the Holy Spirit fellowship? You know, start spending time with him. Start spending time with the Lord. You know, start spending time with the Holy Ghost. Maybe just sit in a chair, turn on some music and just ask the Holy Spirit to come. Maybe you won't feel him like you expected the first time you do it. I used to do that. I used to lay on my floor in my room for hours and pray and beg God to come and didn't really feel much, sometimes a little bit, and then one night it just a big wave, like it trickled in, and just a big wave of like water of the Spirit filled my whole room. Filled my whole room. I just kept being like a kid. God, come bless me. I want your presence, Lord. I don't know what's going on outside, guys. I got all sorts of weird stuff going on outside my house here, my apartment here in Phoenix. I got my little dog, little little Timmy. He's uh doing his little pre-bark, a little gurr thing, looking out the window. He guards the house. He's my my guard dog. If you've ever seen little Timmy, if you want to see him, he'll be on one of the broadcasts in the future here. Sure, or maybe he'll come over. I don't know. Anyway, little Timmy, you okay? So I don't know what I was talking about. All I'm saying is get close to the Lord, right? Amen. So then in the end, in the in the book of Job, I always like this. I think it's like, I don't know. Let's go here, see where it is. Um, let's see. Yeah, so then we go to Job 42, 12. Okay, this is what I want you to get. Okay. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part. How is that even possible? Think about this. Job had a family, he had his children, he had business, he had his camels, his ox, whatever, right? All this stuff. He had all this wealth, his land, everything. But it says that the Lord blessed Job more than before he got attacked by the enemy. New Living Translation says the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more in the beginning than in the beginning. For now he had how many sheep? 14,000. This guy had six thousand camels. Can you imagine? A thousand yoke of oxen, a thousand female donkeys. Imagine having six thousand camels. That's a lot of camels. Fourteen thousand sheep. This guy was loaded, okay, according to back then, right? God blessed him more after he went through the valley. Amen. Amen. Oops. What am I doing here? Okay, so God's ways are different than your ways. See, he understands how the earth was formed, he understands how the rivers and the oceans all work, he understands what the depths of the sea, he understands how the clouds work out, how to command the morning, all this stuff. You don't understand anything compared to God Almighty. We are commanded to believe in Jesus of Nazareth. We are commanded to believe, we're commanded to repent, change our mind, and we're commanded to turn towards the Lord for mercy. We're commanded to turn towards God, we're commanded to confess Jesus as Lord. Basically, bow the knee. Okay? You are commanded to bow the knee to the King. That's it, guys, right? You bowed the knee to Jesus of Nazareth. You surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. Full surrender. Full surrender. Guys, you'll never be happy in your Christian walk unless you do full surrender. And it takes time because there's different levels to surrender. You know, when you got saved, you surrendered. Okay? You you got saved, okay. I surrendered from being a non-Christian to a Christian. You surrendered from, you know, going your way, and now you're going to follow Jesus. But there's deeper surrenders. He might want you to surrender the fear about your spouse, the fear about your kids. He might want you to surrender the fear about your 401k, the fear about the gas prices, the anxiety about uh your child in the hospital, uh, the uh uh, you know, whatever it is, the little things, right? But some are deep in your emotions that are like built inside. Okay. Emotions can be built right inside you that are wrong or that are connected to wrong mindsets. So your emotions can be connected to wrong mindsets, and the word of God transforms your mind, and then you start feeling differently. For example, you could be going through something, you know. I meet a lot of people, they they're praying for something, they're praying, they're praying, they're praying, and nothing happens. They're praying, nothing happens. Their life praying, nothing happens, it doesn't change, why not? I don't know all of all the times, I don't have the answer for all the times, but sometimes it's connected to surrender in your heart, letting go of some wrong belief system, letting go of trying to hold on to stuff. If you hold on to things, then that kind of stunts you from moving forward. You know, it can stunt you if you hold on to idols, if you hold on to stuff, holding on to the world system, holding on to some dream of uh, you know, they that is just all ego. You know, all this stuff can can stunt your growth, can can keep you from moving forward in Christ. So all it's real simple, guys. Just be honest with God. Be honest with the Lord Jesus Christ, be honest with him. When you pray, be honest. When you pray and you're honest, I truly believe God honors that, and that the Bible says, when you ask, you shall receive, when you seek, you shall find, and knock, it shall be open for you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks finds, everyone who knocks, it will be open for them. Okay, so if you ask and you seek and you knock, guess what will happen? God will answer. And sometimes He'll answer you in a different way than you thought. You might be praying for healing for your tooth. Oh, my tooth needs healing, my tooth needs healing, my tooth needs healing. God, I'm praying for healing, I'm praying for healing, and then all of a sudden at your church you meet a dentist who's really nice, and he's like, Hey, I can come, I can fix your teeth, that's really easy. He goes, does it for free or whatever? Was it an instant healing? No. Did you get your miracle at the altar that you're praying for with your pastor? No. But did God send the right the right person to you to get your tooth taken care of? Yes. And maybe that's why that's how he wanted to do it. Who are you, right? Who are we to say, God, why did you do it this way? Why didn't you do it the other way, like I was expecting? Okay, so be like be available, like available to allow God to do whatever he wants in your life. Okay, you're called to be a disciple of Jesus, not just like a fan of Jesus. So there's tons of fans of, oh, I'm a Christian, I'm a Christian, this and are you a follower of Jesus? Are you a disciple? A disciple is someone that will go and end up maybe getting uh you know martyred, like all the disciples, pretty much except John, right? The apostle. Okay, the apostle of love. But every other disciple, according to legend or history, was uh martyred. That's a disciple. A fan isn't gonna go get martyred. A fan is, you know, oh, persecution comes, I'm leaving. See you later, not interested. Okay, that's that's not what God's calling you for. God's calling you to be a what? A disciple fully surrendered. Okay, Lord, you want me to go do missions here? Okay, I'll go. Lord, you want me to sell everything and move over to Tokyo and be a pastor there, okay? Right? That that's the kind of attitude you want with the Lord. You want just the attitude, Lord, I'm all in. I'm all in. Because God is so good. The more you start experiencing God's goodness, the more you want to surrender. The more the world looks so pointless, the world system's so pointless, so boring. There's nothing in the world system. It's all fantasies, it's all fantasy lust. That's all it is. Promises, big promises. Oh, be a millionaire, you'll be happy. Okay, what about those people that become millionaires and they're not happy, like Robin Williams? What happened to him, the famous actor? Right? What did you have? Depression. Went into depression. Super millionaire, super famous, super funny, family, everything. Anybody ever wanted life? And he ended up, you know. So, hey, I'm telling you, go all in with the Lord. You will not regret it at all. You're gonna go through valleys and mountains, valleys and mountains, valleys and mountains, but it's worth it in the end. It's worth it in the end because then you have that closeness with the Holy Spirit, and the closeness with the Holy Spirit is the best, is the blessing. So, like, you know, everybody's like praying for blessings all the time. Oh, I want to be blessed, I want to be blessed. I want all those blessings, Lord. I just want more of the presence of the Holy Spirit. I want to know God, all right. I'm known by God, right? Right, you're known by God, God knows you, right? But you want to know him, you want to go up to that mountaintop with Moses and go talk to God face to face, right? Now you have the Holy Spirit in you. Now he lives right inside of your body. So you need to learn. Holy Spirit lives right in your body. So you feel anxiety, okay. Holy Spirit, thank you. You live in my body, and I don't need to have anxiety because I have you. See, a lot of this stuff comes from self-righteousness, a lot of attacks that we go through, a lot of different emotional stuff, mindsets, uh, torments. It comes from wrong mindset, it comes from wrong believing and forgetting that God lives inside your body. Right? So you go to the doctor, you're afraid, or you're dealing with something, you're afraid. Or something happens in your life, you you go to fear, you go to doubt, you go to unbelief. You forget that Christ paid the penalty for your sin, all of it forever. And then Christ now lives in your body, and he owns you now. See? He owns you now. You're holy, you're righteous. That's who you are. And then when you fight against that, that's when you you know end up going through more worse stuff than you had to in the first place. You know, rebellion's no fun. Trust me. Chastening, it's not fun. But what does chastening do? The book of Hebrews says that chastening will produce righteousness, right? It'll produce fruit. Because it's teaching you the right way to go. So if you're being chastened, God's teaching you the right way to go. And the right way to go is always with Jesus Christ of Nazareth, always with him, because he knows the way. He knows the right way to go. You know, you want to make a decision, you don't know if you should sell your house or your car, or you don't know if you're supposed to buy that or do this or move here or whatever. He knows. And it says that in all your ways, acknowledge him and he'll direct your path. So you don't even have to worry about decisions. Like I used to worry about all the, oh, is it God's will? Is it God's will? Oh my gosh, is it God's will? Right? I and people are like, I gotta break God's will, I gotta figure it out. Uh, what's going on? Nah hey Lord, how's it going? I'm thinking about doing this decision here. It says, uh uh, you know, acknowledge you in all of my ways and you'll direct my path. So, you know, in my heart, I feel like this is a good way. I'm gonna start going this way. I trust you that you can always work it out for my good no matter what. I trust you that you're in this, and if you're not in this, I trust that you'll speak to me or you'll maneuver me somewhere else. You don't have to be worried. Walking with the Lord is not like this, you're afraid all the time of making the wrong choice, of screwing up, of God's gonna be mad at me, or oh my gosh, I'm gonna ruin my life. You're walking with the Lord is uh intimacy, like just knowing that you're loved and cared for, and that no matter what happens, God is in it somehow. God is in it somehow. You know, God is in God. Already knows where your life ends. He already knows the moment you take your last breath here on earth. He already knows everything. He knows the minute you were born, the second you were born, he knows all the hairs on your head. He knows everything about you. And then you worry, start worrying, and you're distrusting. And God the whole time is just trying to tell you, trust me, trust me. And that's the same thing He told the children of Israel, right? Trust in the Lord. Keep trust, trust in His plan. Do what He says. It says, Love your neighbor. He says, Have faith in me. Forgive others. Walk in peace. Forgive yourself. Expect good things. Have hope for the future. Right? Bless others. Give mercy to others. Right? You can do it because you have the Holy Spirit in you if you're born again. If you're not born again today, then you need to make a confession of faith. Jesus Christ is Lord. You need to make that confession of faith and believe with your whole heart that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved. And then you need to get water baptized. A lot of people get baptized when they're babies, they get baptized when they're toddlers or something like that. When you know in your heart that you have a heart transformation and Jesus is Lord, you you really believe that. Then you need to go get water baptized to make a public declaration of faith and to uh and it's a type of um it teaches us, it shows us what happens when we get saved. See, we're we are alive, we get crucified with Christ, and then we get buried with him in baptism, and now we rise, we're we're risen to newness of life. So when you come out of the water, you're a new person, right? When you get the Holy Spirit in your heart, you've made that confession of faith, you're a new person. See? So go get water baptized if you haven't yet. If you if you know that you have a Jesus inside, you really believe in him, go go find a church, find a pastor, and ask them to pray for you or to be baptized in water and to pray for you to receive the Holy Spirit baptism. Okay, receive the power on high, right? You want to receive the Holy Spirit baptism too. Okay, you be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and then you get a prayer language. You can actually have uh your own supernatural language where you can pray to God, and it's the Holy Spirit praying through you, divine his divine will through you. Okay, like uh if you imagine like a priest doing prayers while the Holy Spirit takes over and does prayers through you. Okay, they call it tongues or gifts of the Holy Spirit, right? The gift of the Holy Spirit. And you know, if you don't believe in that, or you don't know yet, or however that works, do your own study, right? Get it from the Word of God, read the Bible, do your own study. Just don't take my word for it or somebody else's word. Really do your own study. You don't want to be deceived. You know, I was in a cult years ago, 20 something years ago, or whatever. I don't even know how long anymore, but you know, or now it's 20, I can probably figure out 20 years ago. Okay, 23 years ago. I think about 23 years ago, okay. So 23 years ago, I got brainwashed by a cult leader, spiritual, spiritually abused. So that stuff happens, that's everywhere, guys. There's a lot of people that do that to people, they do it unwillingly sometimes. They put a lot of fear on people, a lot of control, you know. They they uh they use them, all that stuff, and they hurt people. And so I was very hurt when I came out of the cult, and I didn't know anything except that I was probably I felt like I blasphemed the Holy Spirit, I was probably going to hell at any moment. That's what I thought. As a Christian, as a Christian, you should not all you should not think be thinking that you blasphemed. If you know somebody who thinks they blaspheme uh and they're they're afraid that they've done it, and they're Christians, and you know that they've confessed Jesus and they're afraid they blaspheme, and they're talking about it, that means they didn't blaspheme. Somebody who blasphemes doesn't want to be forgiven or doesn't want anything to do with God. Okay, so if that's you out there and maybe you said something or you did something stupid, just confess it to the Lord and move on. And for some reason, I I feel like I'm supposed to say this. If you've done something that you feel like God has not forgiven you for, the devil's lying to you. If you've confessed it to the Lord sincerely, right? If you've really confessed it to God, then he is faithful and just to forgive you. Apostle John told us in 1 John, if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father Jesus Christ. And he's the propetition, so he is our sacrificial lamb, he is our sacrifice for sins. So Jesus is our high priest that makes intercession for us. He knows that we're weak, and at the same time, he knows how to get us through temptations. But when we fall, we can talk with him about it and he can cleanse us, cleanse our mind, cleanse our memory. A lot of people have memories of stuff they've done. Ask the Lord to cleanse your soul, your mind, your emotions. Maybe you fell into some weird stuff, cleanse your soul of it. Ask the Lord to specifically cleanse your memory, cleanse your mind from it so you don't feel it anymore, you don't uh have the emotions of it or the thought process or you know, all that stuff. You can just ask the Lord. And then once you've done that sincerely, then you need to move on from it, right? You need to move on from it. So thank you so much for watching today, guys. Uh, this is Nick Grimsman. This is Spirit Stream number 53. Uh, thank you so much. I'm gonna probably end the stream. Do you have any questions or comments? I'm gonna pray, and then you guys can uh I know there's a little delay. So, Father, thank you so much uh for this broadcast. Thank you for Holy Ghost Television, what you're doing here. Thank you for the people that watch these uh these live streams, and I pray that they will grow closer and closer with the living God, that they would know for sure that they're born again, that they would know for sure that they are loved by you, that they are safe, that they are saved, that they have eternal life. I pray for those that maybe don't know you yet, that they would have uh an encounter with you, and that they would feel your presence and be born again in the name of Jesus. I pray, Lord, for those that need uh home churches or they need uh people to come around them to help them and pray for them. I pray that those people would show up in their life. I pray, Lord, that uh victory for them. I pray victory as they concentrate on the word of God. The truth sets them free, and the truth is in Jesus of Nazareth and what you did for us at the cross. You you died for our sins, you rose from the dead on third day, you sit at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. I pray that the angels would come and minister to those watching this, and that the Spirit of God would go forth and heal hearts and minds, that healing and miracles would take place in Jesus' name. Annette says, God bless you, Nick. Thank you for encouragement. Hallelujah. Amen. Thank you, guys. Uh love you. Have a good day. Thank you for your support of the ministry.
