Hey everybody, how's it going? I I really like the opening that we have for Holy Ghost Television currently with the uh with the Rams Horn. I like that. You know, I did a CD years ago uh that it was uh it was a deliverance CD called I Hate the Devil, and it's uh it was a deliverance CD to help people struggling uh to be able to uh you know cast off, cast out devils if they felt like they were demonized or um going through it with demons. Um it's called I Hate the Devil, and it had that on there. It had the uh uh the shofar in the beginning. I like that. So how's everybody doing tonight? This is Nick Grimsman. This is Spirit Stream number 58. I'm live from Phoenix, Arizona. My little dog, little Timmy, is sleeping over there in his little nest. I call it. He has this little nest uh bed and I call it a nest. I say, go to your nest, and he goes to his nest. It's very uh cute. I love my dog a lot, as you can tell. Let's begin with prayer, and then we will uh we will uh ask the Lord to uh bless us, uh bless us, broadcast. Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness to heal and to deliver all those that call on the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, that your name is above every name, and every name of everything must bow to the name of Jesus. So no matter what anyone's dealing with, the name of it, the uh the diagnosis, whatever it is, has to bow to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. We thank you for authority through your name. We thank you, Lord, that we have salvation and wholeness and completeness in your name. We have eternal life in your name. We thank you, Jesus. We ask that you would be here today by your spirit, by the Holy Spirit of God, and that the angels would minister to those watching, listening, wherever they may be. Let the gospel go forth with power, let people be saved and transformed in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So today I went to this uh this restaurant to get some takeout. Hi Martine, good to see you on Facebook. Um, I went to go get some takeout today, and uh I uh I uh asked the young lady if she's ever heard the gospel before, and she looked at me very innocently. I think she's 25 years old, 24, I don't know, in that age in that range, 25, 26. I don't know. I think it's 25. Anyway, I think I asked her. All right, that's not the story. The story is I asked the young lady if she's ever heard the gospel, and she looked up at me very innocently and said, No, I never have. And so I shared the gospel with her. I shared that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died for our sins and rose from the dead, that he was born of a virgin, he lived a sinless life, he fulfilled with the law and the prophets, spoke about him, and then he shed his blood for us and rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, proving he's the Son of God with power. And her eyes lit up and she's like, Wow, thank you so much for sharing that with me. And then I talked with her about how you come to Christ just as you are, and you allow the Holy Spirit in your heart, and he will begin to transform a person. And that's uh, and I shared, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe with all your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. And then after you have that saving faith where you truly believe Jesus is the Messiah, that's when you go and get baptized. And she's like, Oh, wow, I never learned that. Thank you so much. And then I smiled at her when I was leaving, I said, You've heard the gospel now, and I walked off. Another gentleman, I was uh pumping gas, and uh it was an older gentleman, he had a uh like a military, I think it was Purple Heart on his license plate. He's probably about 80 years old, maybe. And he uh he was in the uh the stall in front of me at the gas station, and I was getting gas and I saw his license plate and I thanked him for his service um because uh you know it's honorable well, you know, to uh sacrifice yourself for the country, right? You know, fighting wars and stuff. That's uh those people are are brave for you know fighting for our protection and stuff. And he's an older gentleman, and I and I let him know I respect him for that. And then I smiled and I said, Have you ever heard the gospel, sir? And then he looked at me and he said, What did you say? I said, Have you heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ? And I smiled and he said, Uh, yeah, yeah, I have, not interested. I said, All right, well, Jesus is Lord. Have a great day. Thanks for talking, or whatever I said to him. So, some people you will want to share the gospel with and they won't want to listen like that older gentleman, uh, which I don't understand. I mean, I kind of understand it, you know. Uh you know, as you get older, you get hardened, right? You keep getting hardened and more hardened, and you know, they you've seen a lot and been through a lot in life, and you get hardened with sin, you get hurt, you get more trauma. You know, pretty soon you're 70, 80 years old, and you're just really hard-hearted, maybe towards God or towards the world or whatever it is, right? And uh, you know, and so the old older people can be saved, absolutely, right? But I've just noticed when you get older sometimes, uh, if there people aren't saved, they get a you know, they they kind of get a harder heart because I think the strongholds grow as you uh continue uh in your flesh your whole life, right? So what we want to do is we want to repent, we want to change our mind, and we want to uh uh be saved. We want to repent towards Jesus, right? We want to change our mind towards Jesus. He can change anybody if they're 90, 100 years old, he can change them in their heart. But it was just uh two contrasts, right? Got the young lady, and they got the older gentleman, and the young lady uh was really excited about the gospel. She was thankful I told her she felt I think she felt encouraged. The other gentleman, maybe it was the wrong timing. Maybe somebody else will talk to him about the gospel. Our job is to what? Our job is to share the gospel. So you got to get your gospel message down, right, guys? You got to figure out what you're gonna tell somebody. You're gonna you're gonna go to the grocery store and stand there in line with somebody and feel like God's put it on your heart to tell the gospel, share the gospel, and you don't know what to say. I've found I used to, or I still do it sometimes. I used to kind of just talk with people a little bit and then ask them, you know, stuff maybe about their life or whatever, and then ask them if they'd like prayer, things like that. I do that sometimes. But I've uh recently, and like probably like last year or two, I just look straight up at somebody, you know, do a little conversation or whatever, and I'll just ask them, have you heard the gospel before? You'll be amazed at how many people have not heard the gospel, even in America, in Western society. And you don't want to be ashamed to ask somebody if they've heard the gospel because you might be the only person, the only person in the uh in their life that has the gospel to share to them with them. You might be the only person, you know, you might be the last person they see. They might leave the grocery store or the library or wherever you're at and get in a car accident. Maybe God was giving them the last chance to hear the gospel. We don't really know. Our job is to share the good news, and then we allow the Holy Spirit to work in the person's heart. So the young lady at the restaurant or whatever, she didn't uh say a sinner's prayer, she didn't uh ask where my church was or anything like that. I planted a seed, I shared the gospel with her. Now, what happens after that is God is gonna work in her heart through the word of God that was spoken to her, right? And it's either gonna be a good soil or bad soil, right? So you're gonna have good seeds uh uh that land on what the the um the good soil and they produce fruit someday, or you're gonna have it's gonna fall in rocky soil or rocks or it's gonna have weeds grow up, whatever it is. There's different uh different outcomes to your seeds. Your job is to plant seeds. So if you're taking notes, maybe just write down plant seeds in people's hearts. So not everybody is ready to give their lives to Jesus. Okay, so understand that some people you beat, sorry, some people you beat, some people you beat are uh hearing the gospel for the first time, and maybe they don't understand it fully yet, and they need to have somebody else explain to them in more detail, maybe six months from now, or maybe they'll listen to uh Christian radio and hear it, or um their family might rule tell them or something. So there's always seeds and there's always watering. Just plant seeds and you water those seeds, right? So you plant a seed, and I might run into somebody and water that seed that you planted, and you might water a seed that I planted. Like Paul said, uh, you know, one plants another waters, but God does the increase. And then each person, each worker, each farmer, watering the one who plants and waters and sows and all that stuff, get a gets a reward on how they plant it, right? So you get a reward according to how you plant it. Some people plant uh hay, right? They build on uh, you know, hay, their rewards get burned away because they were not diamond and gold, uh, the the way they ministered to people or they share the gospel or the word of God or prayed for people, or whatever. I don't really know how the reward system goes. But if you look at it, like you you could plant on uh a Christian or on a person, you can plant certain things on them, right? You can plant, uh, you know, if you are, let's say you say now I'm going in like Christian sense because that's kind of what Paul's talking about, how you plant on the you build the temple either with hay or rock or diamonds or gold, right? And you're building on the church, you're building on one another. So you want your message and your teachings to be gold and diamonds. You don't, you don't want to just uh build hay on your congregation or on your on the people that you care about and the people that you're trying to disciple or whatever. Okay. A lot of people build hay, they give people just um very um easygoing messages. Um, you know, God just wants you happy and just live your life and you know, all that stuff, right? So so it's very um what people will call like lukewarm or soft or whatever, right? So it's according to, you know, like how you're going to uh give a message to somebody. So if I meet somebody who's a let's say now we're talking about Christians, let's say I'm talking to a Christian and they're they're talking to me about something they're uh they're doing or whatever, and uh did I warn them, right? Did I warn them? Did I gently try to bring them back to the truth, or did I just act like it was no big deal? Did I rebuke them, reprove them, or was I just like, oh, that's no big deal, right? Oh, you're doing that type of stuff that's hurting people? Oh, no big deal, right? Or do I gently reprove them or rebuke them if they need to be rebuked?

Right?

Most people I run into just need to be reproved and let them know, hey, that stuff brings decay in your life, guys. Sin always brings decay in somebody's life. Okay, sinful patterns, sinful behavior will always lead decay in your life, either relationships or finances or health or whatever, because the devil, when you are doing things that are anti-love, your neighbor as yourself, anti-love, uh going against what God wants you to do is love your neighbors yourself and live a good, uh, clean, righteous life, right? Because that's your identity. Uh, you you can start reaping bad stuff in your life. Why? Because you agree with the flesh, and when you're in the flesh, then the enemy comes and starts manipulating you and you start agreeing with the realm of the flesh. And that's where the devil starts operating in your life and brings in all this stuff, right? Read Romans 6, 7, 8. You'll find that if you sow to the flesh, right, you'll reap corruption of the flesh. But if we what by the spirit put to death the deeds of the body, we shall live. I think that is in actually in um Galatians. I might have misquoted that, but you get the point. You can always Google those. I'm gonna go over to my uh my uh Bible hub uh thing right real quick. We'll go over there. I just have to remove that, and then we're here. Okay, so if you go to um I think it's Galatians, right? If we put to death, you know what? I'll just search. Put to death uh deeds. Oh, it's Romans 8. I guess I was right. Thank you, Lord. Okay, Romans 8. So if you live according to flesh, right? Uh new living translation, Romans 8, 13. If you live, what uh if you live by according to the flesh, in an English standard trans uh version, for if you live according to flesh, you will die. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, right? If you live according to the flesh, you will die. But if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Okay, but if by the spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. So if you want abundant life, right? If you want abundant life, you want to by the spirit put to death the deeds of your body, of the body. What are the deeds of the body? Fornication, lust, uh, drunkenness, anger, adultery, all these things, stealing, all those things are lust of the flesh or deeds of the body. And it says, if you by the spirit, is it by yourself you do this? No, it's by the spirit. By the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body. How do you do that? You believe correctly what the spirit says in the word of God, and you surrender to the spirit, and you surrender to the truth that those deeds of your flesh were crucified. It's no longer you doing it, it's sin that dwells in you. So you have to stop identifying with the deeds of the flesh. So if you're an angry person, you feel like you're an angry person, tonight you need to repent and you stop taking identity in that deed of the flesh, which is anger or frustration or anxiety or rage or lust, ungodly desires. So you can by the spirit, you put those things to death. It's not yourself, you don't do it. The spirit does it as you believe the truth and you agree with the truth, and as you renew your mind on the truth, you died. Remember, your life is now hidden in Christ Jesus and God. There is no condemnation for you anymore. Okay, let's keep going. So Romans 8.14. For those who are led by the Spirit are children of God. Okay, that's Romans 8.15. I don't even know where I'm going. I'm just talking now. Okay, so Romans 8.15, the spirit you receive, so the Holy Spirit does not make you slaves. Okay, New Living Translation. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Is that you that used to be me? I used to be afraid all the time. Okay. I used to be afraid all the time. I used to be uh fearful. I wasn't doing enough for God. Oh, I was sinning too much. I had uh issues with personality issues, all this stuff. God was mad at me. I, you know, all the stuff. No, I'm not a fearful slave anymore. See, early in Romans 6 or Romans 7, better it's Romans 7, Paul uh says we were married to the slave master. So think of yourself as uh you were married to a slave master and that slave master married you, you were married to sin, basically. Okay, you were married to sinful fleshly things. Okay, now that person has been crucified. And if you by the Spirit believe that you're crucified, then those behaviors and those sinful life patterns and those habitual sins will start falling off of you. You have to start identifying with the Holy Ghost in you. You are no longer a fearful slave like you were when you were in the flesh. So if you deal with being afraid all the time and you feel like a slave to sin and you feel like a slave all the time, you're not believing the truth. You need to repent, change your mind. Why? Because it says right here, Romans 8, 15, says, For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption as sons. Okay, let's go to New King James. All right, let's go to King James. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba Father. We cry Abba Father. Let's go to the Greek real quick. Okay, for you did not receive a spirit of slavery, bondage. Okay, so if you are a Christian and you are declaring you're still in bondage, you're believing a lie. You need to just repent. You are not in bondage, even if it appears you are. You're doing an habitual practice, a sinful practice that you feel like you you're in bondage to. You're not in bondage. You have to repent. Just change your mind and start agreeing with what the Bible says. See, the problem is we agree with everything we feel. We feel like we're in bondage. We feel like this addiction is too tough. And it may be, I'm not trying to downplay a physical addiction or a psychological addiction. But you are not in bondage to sinful behaviors anymore. That's not an excuse anymore either for people. Well, I'm just a sinner. I'm just gonna sin all the time. I'm always gonna be, you know, addicted to looking at things on a computer or uh smoking uh drugs or whatever it is, right? Because I'm a human. Well, you were in the flesh, you're no longer in the flesh, you're in the spirit. See, you're in the realm of the flesh, now you're in the realm of spirit. It's like just transitioning yourself, guys. Okay, so start transitioning your mind to start believing you are in spirit, not because of your behavior, but because of God's grace, and he has put you in the spirit as a gift, right? You've been born again, you have been reborn. Okay, so you are born from above now. You need to disconnect from identifying with bondage. You're not in a slave anymore. It says right here in the Greek a spirit of slavery, bondage that returns to you fear. So, what does bondage do? It causes you to be fearful and terror. Okay? You have terror in fear. And in first John, it says, He that fear. Is what not made perfect in love, so fully grown or mature in love. So if you are dealing with fear, you are not mature yet in God's love. Okay. And I still deal with some fears here and there. So I'm not yet matured as well. Okay. So we're all in this together. Transformation of mind is super important. Remember, we're trans, we're to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Transformation is like renovating a building. Imagine your mind and your emotions, your soul being renovated. So you are totally removing all the furniture and all the walls and everything in that mind or that house, right? And then you rebuild it by the word of God. So your mind thinks a certain way. Fear, I'm in bondage. Oh, ungodly lusts, anger, emotions of rejection, emotions of this and that, and offense, and I can't forgive, and all that stuff. You need by the word of truth and God's grace, it renovates all that. It removes it all and replaces it with the mind of Christ. Be transformed, be renovated, right? Be transformed. I'm sorry, be transformed by the renewing, the renovation of your mind, basically. So you're renovating your mind. So when you read the word in the spirit, and I'm not talking about just like sitting there reading the Bible just to read the Bible. I don't do that anymore, guys. I don't, oh, I got to read the Bible every day or I'm gonna go to hell. I don't do anymore. I'm not a slave of fear, I'm a son of God. Okay, so I read the Bible and I feel led to read the Bible. And then when I read the Bible, I get a revelation the first two seconds I'm reading the Bible. But before I used to read every every day, you know, I have to read it or I'm gonna go to hell. I have to read it, or I've or God's mad at me. Guess what happened? Revelation was very little at the time. But now I just when I feel led to, I feel my heart, Lord. I really want to read the Bible. I'm gonna I'm gonna sit down and read this passage. Boom, got another revelation. Like today I was reading, and you know, I I have something I want to talk about sometime. I don't know if I will, but it's just very interesting to think about. Okay, very interesting to think about. Okay, all right. We'll talk about that some other time because I'm on Romans 15:15. All right, so fear. Okay, so going back, for you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns to you fear, okay, that returns to you that uh once more again to fear, right? But you received the spirit, the Holy Spirit, of what? Of sonship. Okay. So when the devil comes to you and says, You're a horrible person, you know, you're never gonna get anywhere, you don't have enough money, you'll never have a spouse, you'll never have a ministry. Life's boring because you're just a slave of sin. No, the Bible says, I have a spirit of sonship. You have a spirit of sonship inside of you, so you're not a slave, you're a son. So start thinking of yourself as a son or a daughter, right? You've been adopted by God. Okay, you've been adopted by God through the blood of Jesus by grace through faith, which is a gift. So God gifted you faith by his grace to get saved. Okay, so you don't have to be afraid anymore. If you're somebody struggling, which most people are struggling with something out there, you don't have to be afraid thinking God's gonna leave you. It says right there, you have a spirit of sonship. Okay, a spirit of sonship, it says from a pursuit pursuit, it's strong's 5206. We'll look into this. Let's go right into it. Okay, let's go to Strong's the placing as a son. See that the number one right here. There's three things the placing of son, adoption, and christian Christian sonship. Okay, for from a presumed compound of he, I can't pronounce this, heos and a derivative of teeth and my placing as a son. Do you guys see that? Can you see that? What happened? Why'd it move over like that? Huh? My computer just did that to me. Why did it do that? No, okay, it's back. I don't know what's going on. But it says right there, I'll uh circle it right here. For those of you listening, I'm on the computer circling it. What does that say right there or highlighting the placing as a son? This is amazing, guys. See the scriptures, how you can literally just read a couple verses in context, right? We want to read in context. These verses right here are telling us what we're no longer slaves of the devil or of our flesh or of the world system or of the law. We are we've been placed as sons. We have the spirit of a son. That's good news, guys. You're the placing of a son. So that voice or those thoughts come to you and say, Oh, you're gonna lose your salvation every second. God's mad at you, you're never gonna get anywhere, always condemning you for stuff. That's the voice of condemnation. Condemnation wants you to think God is not good and that you are earning your salvation, that you can be good enough to say to Jesus when you get to heaven or judgment day or whatever, I earned it, Lord. I I didn't do anything wrong with my whole life. I was perfect. That's what this slave, the slave owner, wants to try to teach you or tell you. That you have to live up to earning salvation. That's not how this works. By God's grace, we have been saved, and then we get a spirit of sonship that allows us to do better behavior, to live as a son of God with Christ in us, and then we can mature in love, and then we can forgive others easily. So maybe you don't need deliverance from unforgiveness. You need to learn that unforgiveness is not part of your inner man. See, unforgiveness, write that down if you're dealing with something. Unforgiveness is not in your new nature. God is a God of forgiveness and He's forgiven you. What for you to forgive or to let go of this mindset or these feelings of unforgiveness is to stop condemning yourself and realize that's the voice of the slave owner. Your old nature is trying to, that thing is trying to steal your joy, your peace by telling you you can't forgive people. And then he brings you to scriptures, scary scriptures, that if you read out of context or not understanding things, you think you're never going to be forgiven by God. Because Jesus said, if you don't forgive men their trespasses, either will my heavenly father forgive you yours. Who was Jesus speaking to at that moment? People who are resting on their own behavior for salvation. Okay. You can't truly, he's basically giving them an impossible. You can't truly forgive people that have hurt you and traumatized you in your life without the Holy Spirit. See, he was telling them that you're done. He's trying to tell them that they're sinners. There's no way for them unless they come to him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to the Father except through him. So the only way to truly forgive everyone, all their trespasses is what? Have forgiveness, have a new heart inside of you, a spirit of sonship, and allow God to forgive those people through you. See? But you learned a bunch of works. You learned that you had your behavior is just, it's all about your behavior. And then you get on yourself and you try to fulfill the law in yourself, and then now you're tormented and you're struggling and you feel like you're in bondage because you just believe wrong. Somewhere you learned wrong, or the devil taught you through the world, or through maybe you learned a false gospel, maybe you learned other things. I don't really know. But we're we all from the world system, we all learn wrong. That's why we need to be transformed. We need our brain to be restructured, renovated. And you need to start believing you don't have unforgiveness inside of you anymore. That is a stronghold. That is my old nature trying to make me offended at people. That is my old nature that was been crucified with Christ. I'm putting to death the deeds of the body, which include unforgiveness, and I shall live. By the Spirit, I do that. By believing, I'm not in bondage to unforgiveness anymore. I'm not in bondage to those things anymore. Why? Because God has given me a spirit of adoption, sonship. I got the Holy Ghost. I identify with the Holy Ghost. That's what you should say. I identify with the Holy Ghost. You know, maybe you identified with different uh different um uh lifestyles. Maybe you struggle with identifying with different lifestyles. Maybe the enemy's trying to tell you this or this or that. Maybe you need to start identifying with Christ in you the hope of glory. Start identifying with his desires, you know, if you struggle with all this stuff, struggle with ungodly lust, lust the eyes, lust of flesh, pride of life. You struggle with all stuff. I you guys, I am going through the same thing as you. So I'm not trying to say I've made it or anything like this. Just like Paul said, I'm not yet perfect. One thing I'm doing, I'm forgetting those things behind. So I, you know, the reason I can teach a lot of stuff is because I've gone through it myself or am going through it. So then what we need to do is agree with the spirit. If we by the spirit put to death the deeds of body, we shall live an abundant life. We can live a blessed life, abundant life. And remember, abundant life in Christ is different looking than what you think an abundant life on earth looks like. Okay, that's something I've been learning lately. So an abundant life in the realm of the world, what people think abundant life is, and what true abundant life is are two separate things. Okay, all right. Praise God. But we but the devil, the world tries to deceive us and tell us abundant life is this and that. All right, but true abundant life is knowing God. That's real abundant life, guys. Having eternal life, and then everything he wants to do through you and in you. Okay, so sonship, uh Romans 8 15, by whom we cry and we cry aloud, Abba Father, Romans 8 15, Abba Father, those words there, right? Abba Father. Let's look this up, Strongs 5. So, what's Abba mean? Um, referring to or addressing one's father. Father also uses a term of tender endearment by a beloved child. Example in an affectionate, dependent relationship with their father, daddy, papa. Okay, those are some examples. Oh, yeah, you can't see on the screen. That screen changes. Sorry. So basically, it's saying here that this Abba word in Romans 8:15 can mean like an endearment towards a father. So we cry out, daddy, papa, father, like in an endearment way, okay, like love. We love our father. A child, a small child would say papa in some, you know, in some families, or daddy in some families, or whatever it looks like. Okay, so it's a term of endearment towards a father. Okay, and so let's go back here. Let's just read it again, Romans 8:15. The spirit you receive does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again. Rather, the spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship, and by him we cry out, Abba Father. Isn't that wonderful? God is so good. God is so good, Lord. Thank you so much. Lord, I pray for people out there that really struggle with this idea of having a deep relationship with you, God, and struggle with their own self. They feel broken, they feel like they don't even know who they are inside their soul or inside their brain. And I ask that their the identity of a son or a daughter would just cement in their soul tonight, in their personality, that they would just see themselves as even me, Lord, as a son or daughter of the king, as adopted by God's grace as a gift. Lord, I pray for those people tonight in Jesus' name, amen. Praise God. Isn't the Bible amazing, guys? I'm so happy. Praise God. All right, so then it goes on, Romans 8:16. Remember, in the beginning of Romans, it talks about if you don't have the Spirit of Christ, you don't belong to Him. Okay, if you don't have the Holy Spirit living in your heart at salvation, right? When you get saved, you should you have the Holy Spirit. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe your whole heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. And then your heart transforms when you have the Holy Spirit in you. Okay, and then you are called a Christian. Okay, and you get saved. You're not a Christian just because you go to church, you're a Christian when you make that confession of faith and you truly believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, and then your heart transforms. So when I talk with somebody, uh, let's say, oh yeah, I'm a Christian, I talked to them, oh, I've been a Christian for 20 years, or I grew up in a Christian family. I always ask them, when is that moment? Do you have a moment when you feel like you really had a heart transformation with God? And then that's usually when they had their born-again experience. Some people don't realize what it was, you know. Maybe they grew up in a Christian household and they, you know, they're baptized and they're 12. You know, they don't really know anything. And then, you know, they'll tell me, Oh, yeah, I had that experience in college. Yeah, I remember praying and really feeling my heart change. And I consider myself, you know, a follower of Jesus or I grew closer to God or whatever. Okay. So some people don't have like uh like I did, I was a nightclub bartender and I had this wow, you know, experience. Um, you know, this I repent and I got hit really hard with the Holy Ghost. Some people don't have that experience, everybody has a different experience, but it's when your heart transforms, when you have a new heart, is when you get born again, you get circumcised in a heart. So there's a lot of people running around saying they're Christian, but they haven't been circumcised in their heart. Okay. Are you circumcised in your heart? And if you don't feel like you are, then get on your knees tonight, wherever you're at, and pray to the Lord. Confess Jesus as Lord and ask him to come into your heart, circumcise your heart, give you a new heart. And it's simple. God, God uh answers the prayers of his people. If you call on the Lord, you shall be saved. It's just calling on the Lord from a sincere heart. The spirit, so this for his spirit, Romans 8 16, joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children. See, so when you're doubting in your mind, your emotions, remember that your spirit has been joined and it affirms, it testifies to your spirit that you're God's children, you're God's child. Now, if we are children, so so now he's saying, now, since we are what sons, we're children, daughters, we're children of God, we've been adopted, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ, we are heirs of God's glory. Okay, you got that now. Here we go. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. What's that mean? King James, Romans 8, 17. And if children then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also glory be glorified together. Then he goes into suffering, okay? So these people that are telling you that there's not going to be any suffering or tribulation, or you know, everything's just a blessed life. You're supposed to be a millionaire and live on a yacht, fly around all the time in your lear jets and jet skis and go everywhere. Where's the suffering? Where's the tribulation? Where's the right? So you got to watch that. There's times in your life that you might get to go on jet skis and go on yachts or whatever. I'm talking in general, a servant of God who's a son or a daughter will go through what sufferings. It could be physical, could be financial, could be family, you could lose your business. All sorts of things could happen to you. I'm not gonna say it's going to, but we all go through different types of suffering, some worse than others, right? Some people go through pretty bad stuff that I can't explain. Other people don't, it doesn't seem like they go through a lot of stuff. I don't know how that works. Depending on your your calling, maybe. I don't know. I'm not here to judge that, but it says right here in Romans 8 that we are sons of God, and if we're gonna partake of his glory, right? Then we partake, we will partake of his sufferings. Then he goes on. New King James, Romans 8, 18. For I considering that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. So life has a lot of sufferings, God, just in general. People backstab you, people steal from you, you know, you you lose friends, uh, church splits, you know, all sorts of divorces. People go through all sorts of stuff. But Paul in Romans 8, by the by the power of the Holy Ghost, wrote, I consider that our present sufferings, so the sufferings of persecution they're probably going through. Uh, you know, Paul was persecuted, uh, the Romans were, you know, people were persecuted in Rome and Jerusalem, all sorts of places. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed where in us. So remember, John said in first John, he talked about how when Christ appears in his glory, we will see, we will see ourselves as like we will see our true selves basically, which Christ in us. So the glory of God is in us, we will see who we truly are, like a mirror, right? So when you see Christ on resurrection day, you'll see yourself like he truly sees you. Like it's gonna be wild. And so our present suffering. So if you're suffering tonight or today, or wherever you're listening to this or watching, just know that your sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory. That will be revealed in you. Get a different perspective. Transform your mind. Repent. Change your mind. Instead of focusing on the suffering and all the persecution, and they're doing this to you and at work, and you're the diagnosis, whatever it is. It's not compared, it's not worth even comparing. Nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in you at a later time. So you can be excited that God has something greater for you than just your sufferings you're currently going through. Okay. This gets better, guys. I'm telling you, here we go. Follow along. Then uh verse 19. Then it talks about the creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. The revealing of the sons of God. So all the creation waits for the creation. Then it talks about uh against its will, all creation was subjected to God's curse, but with eager hope, Romans 8.21, that the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. So in the end times, when Christ returns, the whole earth will be freed from the curse. Okay, Romans 8.22. For we know all that creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, I'll read New Living Translation, 8.23. And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory. For we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. Okay. So you still deal with sin in this life. Your body is still subject to death because of sin in this world and in this life. You're not a sinlessly perfect individual. You're just not in your flesh, and because you have what? This body that tries to pull on you. We too wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. So you're gonna get a new body. You need to start believing the truth over how you feel and the what-ifs and all this stuff. Believe the truth. We are gonna get a new body because God has promised us this. God does not lie. You're gonna get a new body someday. Your body now is gonna decay, and you're and you're gonna end up hitting the grave someday, or Jesus is gonna return. Either or, right? So I'm either gonna decay, or Jesus is gonna return and give me a new body, right? We're we're all gonna hit the grave someday, or Jesus is gonna return. Praise God, and you're and he's promised you a new body. So why are you so scared? You're not a slave anymore, you're a son or a daughter. Romans 8:24. We were given this hope when we were saved. Okay, if we already have something, we don't need to hope for it. So let's read different translation. New King James. For we were saved in this hope that we have eternal salvation, new bodies, all that stuff coming. But hope that is seen is not hope. For why does one still hope for what he sees? What he sees. So we haven't seen it yet. You haven't seen your new body yet. But if we hope for what we do not have yet, we wait for it patiently and confidently. So we want to wait patiently. Another translation says patiently and confidently. So you want to patiently wait and be confident in the word of God. God does not lie. When you hit that dust or you blink your eyes, or whatever happens, when you go and meet Jesus, you're getting a new body. You're gonna resurrect from the dead with a new body. This is Christianity, guys. Real Christianity is this world is fading away. Everything is gonna fade away. It's all cursed, right? It's it's under the curse, and so everything has to die, unfortunately, right? Because sin's in the world and our bodies have sinned, so it has to die. The soul that sins have to die, right? So basically your flesh, because you've sinned in it and it's it's uh it's not perfect, has to go away. That's what I'm trying to say. Might have misquoted something there with the soul that sinned, because that's talking about eternal death, talking about physical death, right? So we physically die, and then we get an eternal body. Is anybody excited for to have a new body? You're gonna resurrect from the dead and have a new body. That is incredible. You should be excited every day. So when if you are depressed, discouraged, mentally ill, going through bad relations, whatever's going on, try to get a different perspective. Repent. I'm gonna get a new body someday. See, when you start getting like eternal perspective, like, wow, I'm gonna get a new body someday. You stop worrying about all your bills, you stop worrying about your health, you stop worrying about your family in like a in a fearful way. You start looking forward to you start looking forward to the things to come. God has a new body for me. Who cares what the doctor says? One day my body's gonna be resurrected, it's gonna be new. I'm gonna have a new body. Wow, I owe all these bills. Glory to God. I'm gonna have a new body someday. God is good. If he's gonna give me a new body and I'm a son, then he's gonna pay my bills. He's gonna give me wisdom in this situation with my money or with whatever. See, encourage yourself in the word. I haven't even read that much, and I'm so encouraged, I could scream. Like I could scream, I am so encouraged just by this. I didn't even read all of Romans eight. Only half of it, see, when you read in context and in love and with the Holy Ghost, with faith, see, we didn't just do a do a Bible reading. We read only like how many verses? We're not done yet, though. We're gonna keep going because it gets better in the same way the spirit helps in our weaknesses. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groan uh groans. See, likewise, the spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the spirit himself intercedes with groaning is too deep for words, so the spirit intercedes for you. So when you're too weak or you're in the hospital and you can't pray well, or you're you know, however, people you know, however, this works, if it's uh if he's talking about praying in the spirit or the Holy Spirit's praying for you, I'm I think it's all the time because Jesus is interceding for you at the right hand of the Father. So and the Spirit intercedes. It says the Spirit intercedes for God's people, okay. So you can be encouraged that the Spirit is interceding for you. Jesus is interceding for you, not Mother Mary, okay. Sorry to hurt your feelings. There's one mediator, right? One mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, right? So Jesus, the Holy Spirit, is interceding for you, not the saints, okay. Remember, everybody's in the grave until judgment day. That's when we get our glorified bodies. Some people believe we go to heaven now. Some people believe we it's instant, like you go to the grave and it's instant for you because God's outside of time. Hey, I don't really know, but I do know there's resurrection, everybody's in the grave somehow. But if it's instant, it's probably instant to the person because God's outside of time, right? So you got to think of it from a different perspective sometimes. I don't know. I'm not gonna get into theological stuff, doesn't really matter. All I know is there's judgment day, and those who put their faith in Jesus and truly saved, they get eternal life, and those that reject God and rebel against God, they go to the lake of fire. That's what I know so far. Okay, guys, lake of fire is eternal forever, or do they go to dust? That's between God and them. I don't really know. You know, I don't know. It can be either or, I guess, when you read, you can argue both. I'm not here to argue all that stuff. That's that's a God thing. Okay, so Romans 8:27. He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the spirit, because the spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance to the will of God. Okay, will of God, guys. Everything works according to God's will. Job, that was all according to God's will. So Job was sitting there with boils, and his children were dead, and he lost all his money and wealth and businesses and house, and all he had is his wife, and she was telling him to kill himself, pretty much, right? Give up and die, curse God and die. That was all God's will, somehow. So you had a bad day at work, and you think God's mad at you. God's a God of love. Remember the book of Job, how God was compassionate, gave him double for his trouble. So something's going on in your life. Why don't you start thinking about Job? Job's in the middle of boils on his body, screaming in pain. His bones are on fire. And somehow that's God's will. How does that work? I'm not God. You know, I've been to places I prayed for people that I got upset with God because they're good people. Why would God let them die? I prayed for them. They their whole church was praying for them. I met a pastor once, really nice person. Everybody's praying for this person, the person died. Why? I don't know. All things work for God's will, though. In the end, the whole universe and the world works according to his good pleasure, his will. Okay, it's just the way it works, guys. You can say you have free will and all this stuff. It feels like we have free will, absolutely, but God's outside of time. There's that time thing again. Time's very interesting, right? So there's things to think about. Okay, but you can trust him because he is a good father, and you're his son or your daughter, his daughter. So you don't have to be afraid, right? You don't have to live in fear anymore. He intercedes for you. See, I like uh I've spent too much of my Christian walk complaining to God, uh, being mad at God, trying to figure out why this happened or that happened, or why did he let this happen? Why didn't I get healed then? Why did it take this long to get healed? Why did I have to take medication for that or this or that? I've tried to explain why some people get healed, why they some people don't get demons out, some this, that, why some people don't get saved, you pray for them forever. Why is this? And then I realize that I don't even know how the earth works. Just like he said to Job, do you know how the clouds were formed, or how the clouds, you know, the wind comes from, or do you know this or that about the universe, how the sun sets, how how the how the moon works? No, I don't understand any of that. So who am I? Uh, just uh this this earthly and earthy vessel made from the dust, who grew up in sinful flesh that knows nothing really. Who am I to complain against, Almighty God? Who am I to complain against the creator who created me? You know, I could sit here, God, why'd you let me go to that cult? And you know, years ago I ended up schizophrenic on the street. Why did you make you know have me go through all that? Well, I could say it's my fault, you know. But God could have stopped me, right? God could have stopped that person from doing something to me or you or whatever, but somehow God is still good in the midst of all the horrible things that take place on earth. God is still good, and his word is sure and true. Okay, so encourage yourself that God's word is true and that he is good, and that we don't have a right to really question him and a question about things that we don't understand that seem bad, but we don't really understand. You know, I was a chaplain at the children's hospital, I saw a lot of children uh, you know, pass away with really bad diseases and things like that. I prayed for them and some of them unfortunately passed away. Why? Why didn't they all get healed instantly when I prayed for them? Wouldn't that be God's will? Well, maybe, maybe not. I don't know. Maybe I didn't pray right. You know, I could beat myself over, you know, over the head for the rest of my life. That one person I prayed for, why didn't they get healed? For the rest of my life, I could sit there and try to figure it out. Why didn't that kid get healed when I prayed for him? Why didn't that person get out of a wheelchair when I prayed for him? Why, why, why? They were crying, they really wanted to get touched by God, they didn't get touched by God. Why, God? See that that's like asking, there's probably so many things involved with all that we don't really even know. And it could be too great for me to understand. I God's wisdom is too great for a human to understand, right? In my brain, and so I've learned to just submit and say, God's will be done. Remember, everything works together for God's good pleasure. I don't understand that because there's so many horrible things in the world. So and we live in a fallen world too, right? So now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because he, the spirit, makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, Romans 8 27 and Romans 8.28. This is everybody knows the scripture, right? King James Version, and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Whose purpose were you called for? Your own, so that you can be successful and you could be famous, and you can do this and that, and you could be comfortable in life and live in your mansion in the hills. No, it's according to his purpose. So God has a purpose for you. There's literally a purpose for your life. You know, the purpose-driven life, they say, right? That that book or whatever a while ago. It's really true. God has a purpose for you in the body of Christ. You're not just supposed to sit here and listen or watch me all the time. That's not your purpose. You can learn from me and stuff like that, but eventually you should be doing teachings, or you should be leading people to Jesus, or you should get on with your life, right? You don't need to just sit and listen to scripture the rest of your life. Eventually, you need to repent and start believing correctly. You need to start praying and leading people to Jesus, starting your own church or prayer group, or maybe you're supposed to uh get married to someone, have a ministry with them. Prepare yourself. Prepare yourself for your future because God has a purpose for you. And we know that God works all things together for good of those who love God. And why do you love God? Jesus said the two greatest commandments love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. Now, let me ask you a question. Do you feel that anyone in the world can love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength apart from the Holy Ghost in them? Of course not. So everybody listening to Jesus at that time was convicted of what? Sin. They were convicted. Wow, I need Jesus. I need grace. I need to look up and say, wow, I could never be good enough to fulfill the law of Moses on my own. So you and me can confess that we have not loved God with all our soul, soul, heart, and mind, right? Our whole lives. We haven't. But Christ in us does, see, the fulfillment of the law. Christ in us loves God 100% for us. And then all we have to do is just agree with it and you'll start feeling the love of God more. You'll start loving God more. See, it's about agreeing with the truth. Are you gonna agree that you're in the flesh, or are you gonna agree that you're in the spirit? Are you gonna agree that you're healed, or you're gonna agree that you're a sickling? You're always gonna be sick. Are you gonna agree that you can change through the power of the Holy Ghost and you can live a good life and love your neighbor and be righteous? Or are you gonna believe you're just a sinner? What are you gonna believe? And then as you start believing truth, it starts transforming you, and then you can start transforming from glory to glory. You go from one glory to the next glory, however, that works, right? I don't understand all this. I just like reading the Bible with you, and I love you. Amen. You know, a lot of people watch my stuff, they want to be delivered and healed and also wonderful, praise God. But this is the I just gave you a wonderful few scriptures, what 10, 20 scriptures, verses it said you're gonna go through suffering, right? But God, what in the end of Romans 8, 28, all things work together for good. So even if you're suffering tonight, or wherever you're listening, if you're suffering, somehow that can work together for good. The worst thing that you've ever been through can still work together for your good. Okay, the worst thing can still work together for your good. So don't lose hope. Don't lose hope. Don't not pray or do think God's mad at you or anything like that. Because you're a son, you're a daughter of God. You need to start identifying with the truth past your emotions. Your emotions are part of your soul connected to your mind, and they will try to manipulate you or deceive you. The devil will use them against you, that unregenerated part of you that's transforming. Strongholds can be in there. A stronghold's basically lies, right? A fortress of lies. You give a fortress of lies telling you you'll always be mentally ill, you'll always be fearful, you'll, and it comes with a feeling of fear and anxiety. Well, tonight you're gonna break it by truth. I am no longer a slave of fear. I break this thing off of me. I am no longer a schizophrenic or a bipolar person. That's not me. I am a daughter of God, I'm a son of God. I'm no longer a uh a broke person, I'm no longer someone that just keeps saying I'm broke all the time, or I'm tired all the time, or I'm depressed all the time, or I can't stop overeating, or I can't stop something. You're not in bondage to food, you're not in bondage to ungodly lusts. You might struggle with things, it might be a weakness, but you're not in bondage to it. Renew your mind on the truth of who you are. Start identifying with your true identity as a son of God and take those thoughts captive and break them. Amen. Amen. If you have a prayer request, please comment in the box here. I will pray for you. Um, but I really care about you guys. Uh, I care about everybody. I really want everybody to come to the knowledge of the truth, right? I want people to be saved, healed, delivered, filled with the Holy Ghost. I want people to feel God's presence when they watch Holy Ghost television. I want people to be released from torment when they watch Holy Ghost television. I want people to feel loved when they watch this. When they watch Holy Ghost television, I want them to have hope for the future. I want them to have hope for their families. Guys, a lot of times we pray for stuff out of fear. And so you waste a lot of your time not trusting God, but you but somehow you got programmed by religion telling you if you pray a lot about something that you're trusting God. Are you? I'm not saying not to pray about stuff a lot, but check your motives. If you're praying because it's in your head all the time, maybe it's an idol. Maybe you've created an idol about this situation or the battle you're going through. Maybe you need to repent, change your mind, which in turn is change direction, right? So when somebody repents, they change their mind and eventually it'll go towards change of direction, right? So let's say you're an alcoholic, right? You deal with alcoholism. Well, in Christ, you're not alcoholic, but let's say you deal with alcoholism. Your new nature is not alcoholic. But let's say you deal with it, you could repent, right? You change your mind. You're like, I don't want to drink anymore, I don't want to be this person anymore. You've repented, you change your mind. Now there's that turning that God is going to help you do, that turnaround. Okay. So you can be in repentance and still be struggling. Because Paul said that when you're if you're uh sinning, it's not you doing it, it's sin that dwells in you. So there's a programming there. That mind transformation, encountering the Holy Ghost will start changing you. So, like before drinking was like a big deal, and then pretty soon you're like, oh, it's not that big deal anymore. And then a year later, you're like, I don't even think about drinking anymore. I can walk down the aisle at the store and there's wine everywhere. I don't even care. Because you've repented, you've changed your mind, and then now God is taking you around the corner to go the other way. Okay, and the reason you do stuff is because there's a programming of sin in your brain, in your emotions, in your flesh. And you got to learn you're crucified with Christ and then put to death the deeds of your body. How? By the Holy Ghost, not by your own strength. Realizing you've been crucified with Christ, realize you're no longer under the law, you're not condemned anymore, you're in the spirit, you're not in the flesh. And you start learning you're that's not you anymore. That behavior is not really you. Drinking all the time is not really you. Hating people is not really you, and you start seeing it. Wow, that's a stronghold. Wow, that came from when I was a kid. I learned to hate people. Okay, Lord, thank you so much. I just surrender. I just surrendered to you. Thanks, Lynette. Good to see you on YouTube. Praise God. I haven't seen you a while. Praise God. Thanks for your comment. She says great word. Thank you. All right, guys. I'm gonna I'm gonna uh close it now. It's uh over an hour, so I'm gonna close it down. And uh thank you for sharing the broadcast. Thank you for blessing the ministry, uh, praying for me, supporting us. You can do that at the Father's Friends website. So let's uh uh let's pray and just relax and and believe the truth that God loves you. Just believe it, that He He actually chose you to hear this message tonight. He chose you before the foundational world to be saved, to walk with Him, to be holy and blameless. And how do you do that? By the Holy Ghost in you and the blood of Jesus over you. Father, thank you so much for the power of your word, and we thank you that it transforms hearts and minds. We thank you, Lord, for just breaking, breaking these things off people's minds that are keeping them uh uh thinking they're in bondage because they're not in bondage if they're born again. I thank you for helping them uh be transformed by the renewing of their mind, helping them wow wash away all the negative thought processes and all those emotions and taking identity in flesh when they should be taking identity in the Holy Ghost. Praise God in Jesus' name. Thank you, Lord. Bless your people. Amen. Amen. All right, guys. Well, it's uh good talk with y'all. This is Spirit Stream58. It's Nick Grimsman.
