Hi, everybody. Nick Grosman here from The Father's Friends. This is uh Spirit Stream number sixty three. Yeah, Spirit Stream number sixty-three. I actually got a new camera, so it's this camera that's kind of not far off, but it's not using the other camera I was using before, the laptop camera. I'm gonna try this one out. I think it has better quality. Um, I'm just trying to look at the camera and stuff because this is all a one-man show right here. Um, just the quality and everything and seeing if it's uh working for you. Hopefully it's streaming right. Um, the quality seems pretty good on my end. And uh just let me know. Give me a comment if you like the quality of the video. I'm gonna try to upgrade and keep going and going and going. That's a little different for me because now I'm like looking right in the screen. And before I was kind of like looking at the I was looking at like the laptop, now I'm looking at the screen. So I got to get used to this new type of uh uh media I'm doing. I used to do it. Hey Amber, good to see you on YouTube. Thanks for joining us, appreciate it. So I'm trying to get used to this. I probably need to get like a screen up over here so I can see it better. I'm not really sure, but let's start with prayer. This is Spirit Stream number 63. And uh I am Nick Grimsman, your host of Holy Ghost Television. This is just the beginning of whatever God has for me and the ministry and for you and everything. So every day is new, and you can forget those things behind, all your failures, all your doubts, all your unbelief, and all that stuff from yesterday and the past behind. You can move forward into the prize, the high calling in Christ Jesus. So I'm gonna start with prayer because I'm gonna start preaching. So I'm gonna start with prayer first. So, Lord, thank you, uh, Amber, for the quality looks great. I appreciate it. Um, I'm gonna try to figure out some other stuff with it. I'm gonna um I'm gonna try to uh incorporate more stuff. Um eventually, this is all gonna change. This is just uh like the beginning stages of Holy Ghost television. I have no clue where this is going. Lord, I thank you for taking uh just a little seed of faith. When I was a young man, I prayed and I said, Lord, if you would heal my brain, that so I could win one person to Jesus, that's all I want. And that was my heart's cry, Lord, to win one person to Jesus. And now, Lord, I've led many people to Jesus. I mean, you have through me, but it's just amazing how you take little prayers and little seeds of hope and faith and you grow them into great uh flowers and trees and great plants with lots of fruit. I thank you for the ministry of the Father's Friends. I thank you that we're a fruitful ministry. We're gonna keep moving forward despite all the challenges and things that have uh uh happened to me in my past and things I go through now and in the future, Lord. I thank you that you're gonna continue to bless the ministry and put a special anointing on Holy Ghost television. Lord, I pray for a special anointing of the Holy Ghost on this uh on this network, on these streams. I pray for just a special Holy Ghost anointing that would go through the airwaves and that people would feel your tangible love, that people would feel the power of God, that they would know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is with them as they watch this broadcast. And Lord, I thank you for uh keeping me humble and and uh humble hearted. And uh yeah, and thank you for continuing to work on me and thank you for continuing to work on all of us through your spirit. Thank you for the word of God in Jesus' name, God. Thank you. Thank you for talking through me tonight, amen. Praise God, praise God. All right, so uh thank you for joining. I'm trying to get used to all this. It's so weird to have this. I can move it over, but then it's gonna show on the screen and da-da-da-da. I'm already feeling the presence of God, Lord. Thank you so much, Lord. I love your presence, guys. When you have the presence of God, you want to uh you want to uh you want to I I guess cultivate it or hold on to it or not just uh put it out, right? Like quench the spirit. So we don't want to quench the spirit, and I feel peace, I feel love, and I just feel that God is uh pleased with Jesus in us, right? God is pleased with Jesus, and we believe in Jesus, and so God is pleased with us. And uh, you know, uh when I was talking earlier, like how I wanted when I was young, I wanted to uh lead that one person to Jesus, and God did uh beyond anything I ever asked or even dreamed I could ever imagine God did. And you know, you get into certain situations and then you get tested again in your faith. And so God doesn't tempt you with sin, right? The Bible says that God doesn't tempt us with evil, but he allows certain things in our lives through our own choices, probably, or however else it works, to allow us to kind of almost get put in a corner sometimes, where your only hope is to get out of the boat, like Peter did, right? So Peter, he was uh in the boat and he saw Jesus and he asked Jesus, Lord, can I come out there with you? Beckon me and I'll speak your word and I'll you know, I'll come forth or whatever, right? So he gets out of the boat, but that took Peter to actually step out of the boat, you know, and so you get put in these corners sometimes and you forget these stories of faith. You forget how uh Samson, you know, was blinded. Remember, Samson was blinded and he cried out to God one last time, Lord, and he destroyed the temple of the Philistines and uh you know got his revenge or whatever. You forget all the stories of David and Moses, and I mean just imagine being at the the the Red Sea. Like, really think about that. You have a whole army of Egypt following you. You don't have any weapons or nothing. You're following this guy, Moses, and you see the sea, and you're stuck in a corner. Imagine what all those people were feeling. The Israelites, imagine what they were feeling when they're coming out of Egypt and they saw the sea in the Egyptian army behind them. Are you in the same spot? You know, like a lot of times we get into the same spot where we get to the edge of the sea and we don't know what to do. And we look back and we continue to look back at the army instead of looking forward towards the Lord. So if you're in that spot today, if you're in that spot where it seems like you're against a wall, what I like to do is teach you what I do in those situations. I try to rest in God's truth, rest in the truth that God has spoken to me in the past and speaks to me through his word. Okay, so what does the word of God say? That you're blessed, you're righteous, you're forgiven, you're holy, you're set apart, you're uh you're chosen, you are a holy nation, you are uh a priest and a king unto God, you're a son or daughter of God, you're blessed, not cursed, you're the head not the tail, you're lender, not a borrower. All these things, God God speaks about us, but when we get against the wall, we forget. And so what I do is I try to go into like my soul, kind of like just how I'm thinking, how I'm feeling, and then remind myself of the truth of who I am in Christ and what God actually did for me at the cross through Jesus Christ. So at the cross, Jesus destroyed the work of the devil. He destroyed and defeated Satan 100%. So I get emails a lot from people that are uh, oh, uh, you know, uh, the devil's this, the devil's that, pray against evil here, do this, evil here. You know, like uh they're they're focused on all the evil of the world, they're focused on all the evil around them, what people are doing to them, how they're getting offended or angry or whatever it is, because people and the devil and all that stuff. Instead, look towards Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of your faith. So you are free in Christ 100% right now. I am free, you are free 100% right this moment. So, what's the problem? Well, we have to transform into who God has us be or wants us to be. So there's a whole process there, and these walls that you hit and you don't know what to do, they can work for your good if you allow it to. A lot of people get to the wall and they go around the mountain, like the children of Israel did. They just go around the mountain and go, and why did they go around the mountain? Remember what the Bible said? They got discouraged, they were sinning uh because of unbelief. So unbelief leads you to what? Sinning, going back to your old life, uh, going with uh, you know, doing dumb things, not going to church, not praying anymore. You start, you get discouraged, and you go into unbelief. And so you have an opportunity when you hit the wall to say, I am encouraged because Jesus did everything for me already. I can rest that he has the victory for me. And it's real hard for people to get this because people live in their emotions. Okay, so when I counsel people, I talk to people, everybody lives in their emotional realm, their soul. Not everybody, but most people. So it's okay to have feelings, it's okay to have big feelings, it's okay to process through emotions and things like that. Absolutely, you don't want to deny your emotions, but you don't want to agree with things that are lies. Okay. And so when you get to the wall, if you're in the wall situation, you're stuck in a corner. Try to do your best to submit to God those emotions and those thought processes that you're dealing with. Okay. So what are the thought processes when you hit the wall with finances? All of a sudden, you all these credit cards, or your your car payments due, or your house payments late. What are the thoughts and feelings and those big emotions that are coming towards you and trying to attack you when you're at the wall? And so a lot of people they think they're gonna fast and pray for finances. Okay. I'm just using finances for example. They think they're gonna fast and pray for finances. And am I looking at the camera, by the way, guys? Can you let me know in the comments? I don't know. I'm looking at, I'm just making sure like my eyes aren't crossed because I can't tell. Okay, so so a lot of people think they're praying. Let's say, oh, God bless me with finances. I need financial miracle, I need this, I need that. But what if the wall that you hit is designed to get you to repent of some belief system or conquer a belief system, a core belief system that's inside of you? So you've been praying, God bless me with finances, bless me with debt freedom, bless me with a new job, bless, bless, bless. Why is this all happening? Boo-hoo-hoo, and you're stuck in a corner. What is going on in your belief system and in your heart and in your mind, your soul, right? Like, what is really going on in there that God might want you to repent of, to change your mind about? For a good example, is if you're if you feel like you're lacking, and it could be a fact that you feel like you're lacking, you're you're dealing with lack in your life, but what are you measuring it on? I've been to 50 countries, I've seen a lot of different things, a lot of very, very poor people that were happy. And so you base your lack on knowledge from where you are maybe culturally, or where you live in America or Western society, or whatever. You don't have the newest iPhone, maybe you don't have the newest shoes, whatever. You're basing your lack on a belief system, okay. And Apostle Paul said something. Uh, I'll just go. Cameras, I'm looking at the camera. Thank you so much for letting me know, guys. Okay, so I'm gonna look this up real quick, guys. Okay, so he said something. He said, uh let's see if I can find it real quick. All right, so let's go to uh 1 Timothy 6. So we'll just uh we'll start there. Um, let's start at uh 1 Timothy chapter 6. Um let's just I'm getting there real quick. Sorry guys, give me one second. Uh chapter 6, okay, 6-1. Okay. All right, so he's talking about in here in the context of it, he's talking about uh uh all who are under the yoke of slavery. Okay, so he's talking about people who are slaves or servants at the time. So in Rome and different countries, they're slaves. There's people who are literal, uh, bondservants, slaves, uh, they're put into indentured servitude. So so Apostle Paul is speaking to Timothy, uh, and he says uh in the New King James, let as let as many bondservants as are under the yoke, so under slavery or bondage to uh a slave owner, or you know, however that works, uh wherever that's at in the world at the time, right? So some people in like Pakistan have to they owe debts to the brick uh kilns or whatever, the brick uh makers and their whole their whole families in slavery to this day. There's real slavery in this world still to this day. Um as under the yoke, count their masters worthy of all honor, worthy of all honor. That is amazing that uh Paul said that. So that the name of God, so why do you honor those people? So that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed or discredited or slandered. So you want to have a good testimony, even if you were a slave. You wanted to have a good testimony of love and respecting others and treating people right, even if they were slaves. This is hard to believe, okay? But it's wise so that the teaching and the name of God is not uh slandered or so you or bring shame to the word of God or the name of Jesus. So you could lead those people to Christ eventually, right? Hopefully, right? That's the that's the goal. And they can repent. And those who have believing masters, so now he's speaking to people who uh that are that have people that are slaves or servants or servitude or however this looks in whatever culture. Uh any and in uh oh, you guys can't see this. I'm so sorry. I have to put this on. I'm sorry. Uh let me see how I do this. Here we go. I'm sorry about that, guys. Okay. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, okay? Because they are brethren. So if you for some reason are in indentured servitude and the person that is in charge of wherever you're living or whatever you have to do, you're supposed to respect them. And you're supposed to uh not despise them because they're your brethren, but rather do them service because they are faithful and beloved partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. Okay. So you have to remember this is a different culture back then, okay? So there's a lot of people that uh became indentured servants that were servants, um uh uh slaves, things like that, and not everybody treated them horribly and all that stuff, right? In the Old Testament, they used to, if you loved your, if you loved your master, you would go and I think they would uh give them an earring or something, and then they would belong to the master because they love the master, so they treat them right. So I'm not saying you know slavery's good or anything like that, but different cultures, things like that, hey, I'm just reading God's word. You can judge me all you want. Uh if any man teach otherwise, so if any man teach otherwise, okay, so if somebody does not teach that and does not consent to wholesome words, okay. If anyone advocates a different doctrine, okay, so what's the doctrine here? Treat others with love, respect each other. That's what he's saying. Okay, basically, right? And does not agree with sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords to what? What's the doctrine conforms to godliness? So the doctrine we're supposed to have is godliness. So Paul's words there are basically be godly and treat people with honor and respect and love the best you can. That's basically what I get from it. You might get something different, okay? No matter where you're at. If you're a slave or you're not a slave, you're a master, you're a slave, whatever. Different culture, different times, okay? Um, these teachings in New Living Translation, these teachings, what they promote, promote a godly life. And that is in the New Living Translation. Godly teaching, godly life, according to godliness. Okay, so the doctrine that you're supposed to be under is a doctrine according to godly living. Loving people, forgiving people, having the testimony, uh, choosing right when you when no one else is around, you know, forgiving others, not gossiping, not hating people. You're supposed to have a godly life. That's what grace is supposed to teach you. You're supposed to be a godly person because that's Christ lives in you. Godliness lives in you already. And it's a trend, it's a transformation process. You have to start believing you're a godly person. 1 Timothy 6.4. So if they uh uh if anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and do godly teaching, 6-4. They are what? Conceited and understand nothing. He is proud knowing nothing. Okay. But is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words. You ever met these people? There's a lot of people like that. They want to dispute and argue over words and meanings of this and uh, you know, all sorts of stuff. From which come what? Envy, strife, rivaling evil suspicions. Uh in the new American standard, he is conceited and understands nothing, but he has a sick craving for controversial questions and disputes about words from which come envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions. These people always cause trouble, their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs upon the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy. Okay. Love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, okay? Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, this is King James, 1 Timothy 6 5, and destitute of the truth. Supposing so they they believe that gain is godliness from such withdrawal thyself. So people believe imagine English standard translation, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy, so they pretend to be pious, to be religious. Yet true So New Living Translation, I like this one. Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. Now godliness with contentment is great gain, New King James Version. But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. Interesting, huh? Amplified Bible. Read this one. First Timothy 6, 6. But godliness, so godly living, actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment. That contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God. So Apostle Paul is telling him that to be content. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world. So you were born with nothing, you were born naked, and we can't take anything with us when we leave it. So he's talking about material possessions. That's what he's talking about, right? This is what I wanted to get at being in the corner with the finances and not knowing what to do. And having food and clothing, with these, we shall be content. Isn't that amazing? That is one of the hardest things for people to get, especially in the Western culture. But if you travel around the world, there's a lot of people that live in little uh, you know, I was in Mexico down in Juarez, Mexico, one time. Juarez, I think South El Paso, doing ministry down there, and they took us to this little uh place with uh this little uh place where they were. Sorry, I gotta move this over. I don't know how to do it. Oh, hi Julie, good to see you on YouTube. Uh so in Freedom Fighter, good to see you there. Okay, so they so I I was in uh uh Juarez, Mexico, and they took us to this missionaries house where these missionaries go, and they want they're giving us like a tour. It was a pastor, he was giving us a tour where you go down there from America or wherever you go down, and you uh basically um you spend time building a home for a poor family, a Mexican family down there. And he had us tour this one home, and it was a cinder block home. You ever seen those cinder block fences? Like in Phoenix, there's cinder block fences everywhere. This was a cinder block home, I guess. I think he said it cost about $4,000 per home to make. It was like, you know, very small, maybe 600 square feet, no, 400 square feet. I don't know, maybe 400 square feet. Uh it was a square or a rectangle, and it had a just a metal top on it and had dirt floor. It was cinder blocks with dirt floor and a metal top. Outside, there was a little spigot for water and like a little place where they could cook, and then they were building an outhouse or something for it. Okay, so my point is that this couple with their young son, uh they were extremely poor. They were living in like uh, I call it like an igloo. It looked like an igloo, but it was a um, it's made out of chicken wire and cardboard. So you take the cardboard and you put the chicken wire, uh, you know, you put it between chicken wire and then you make like an igloo house. These people were living in it, and uh they were selling like beads or something on the roadway. And I think the husband might have been sick or something. I don't know, I'm not really sure, but they're very poor. And they um they just got this house and we met them, and they were like in tears. They were so happy that they got this cinder block house with a dirt floor with a metal roof, and you know, things like that make, you know, when I sit here and I'm like, oh, my air conditioning, my apartment turned off the air conditioning units or electricity went out for an hour or whatever. I think about the times that I've been in different places and I've seen extreme poverty, and I snap out of the complaints or the discouragement in my soul quicker because I get a different viewpoint. So a lot of times when you're stuck against the wall, you need to get a different viewpoint. You need to pull yourself out of your Western mindset, your thinking from your childhood or how you grew up or your family culture or whatever it is, you need to pull yourself out of it and you need to see it with the mind of Christ. And right here is the mind of Christ, and having food and clothing, we will be content with these. So the next time you want to complain about finances or you don't have enough or whatever, and you're thinking, oh, I give, I do this, I don't understand, God, what's wrong with me? Try to go into your soul and figure, you know, and sit with the Lord and figure out what you're believing that could be wrong. Are you believing you're not blessed because you couldn't afford to go to Applebee's tonight with your family? Oh, you're you're not blessed because that well, right here it says, if you have food and clothing, you shall be content. And contentment with godliness is great gain. So Paul was that so so Paul was encouraging Timothy there, but I want to use it to show you that sometimes we think wrong, we think with our carnal mind, and then it keeps us in a corner for a really long time. It keeps us in a corner for a really long time. A lot of people want spouses, you know, and they oh, I just gotta be married, I gotta be married, I gotta be married, and they obsess over it and they're still not married, they're still not married. And if you look, Paul actually encouraged people to remain single if they could, right? You know, it's a gift to be single or a gift to be married, right? Uh each has their own gift. But sometimes you get put in a corner and you think, oh God, my life is not complete unless I'm married. I have a spouse. Oh my gosh, my life is over. And you go into a negative feeling and a lie and an unbelief. Then you think God's not good, he's gonna make you a unit for us. Trust me, I've been through it before. You never be happy, never have a family, never fulfill anything, you know, all this stuff. But it's all a lie. So what you can do is what I what I just learned to do is go right into where I'm thinking, my mind and my emotions, and take those thoughts captive, just like the Bible says, to the obedience of Christ, take them to the Word of God. No, that's a lie. God promises good things in my life, and then you accept if God wants me to be single, okay. If he wants to be married, okay. But I'm not gonna let it affect my faith. See, because it affects your faith, and it's a weapon from the enemy to go into your emotions to get you discouraged. And once you're discouraged, it takes you into unbelief. And then you sit there and pray and fast all day long, and you're like, what happened on this day? You're freaking out. It's because you're living in the realm of the flesh at that time, because you're living in unbelief, and then you're stuck against the corner going around the mountain, and pretty soon you're like, I'll just go to the bar and get drunk because you know God doesn't want me to be married or anything. I don't have any money, I'll just go do this, and then it leads you into sin, and then you're just going around the mountain, then you repent, then you try to get back, then you feel tormented, condemned because you because you have a mindset of a works-based self-righteousness, and then pretty soon, church. You go to church, your church isn't helping you, you don't know what to do, and then you call me on the 188 no am number, and I try to help you, right? Praise God. Just need to repent. Everybody just needs to repent and just go all in with the Lord. That's my message, okay? Your message, my message is to just repent and go all in with the Lord. Just go all in. There's facts, right? There's facts. It's okay to say, hey, I got a fact here, I don't got any money currently. That's like the children of Israel standing at the at the Red Sea. Hey, here's a fact: the Red Sea hasn't parted yet, and the enemy's right behind us. That's a fact, that's an unbelief. But people get really paranoid and they don't want to accept facts. They kind of live in a la la land. Well, if I say that's a fact, I'm gonna I'm gonna be cursed because I said that's legalism. God knows what you're going through. Believe it or not, he already knew the diagnosis was gonna come before you went to the doctor. He knew the diagnosis was gonna come before you were born. Okay, he already knew everything that's gonna happen to you. So why are you in the corner crying and being afraid? You need to step out and submit that to God, submit the facts to God, but you need to resist the devil, disagree with those things, start disagreeing in your mind, your emotions with these lies that try to pull you into what unbelief. Okay, and then we'll go here real quick, we'll go back over here. Wait, where's uh turn that back on here? All right, okay, so we'll just go right to um thanks guys. It's good to see everybody here with the comments and stuff. It's pretty cool. Hopefully, you like the new setup. I don't know if you like it or not. Please comment if you like it or am I looking away too much because before it was on the camera. You know, I could probably move it underneath. I don't know. Anyway, I'm just trying new things. This is all uh, you know, all a growth process. I like how the Lord's doing this for me, like kind of like a growth process. I like it. Um, okay, so oh, here we go. Okay, so let's go to Hebrews 11. Okay, the book of Hebrews was written to the Hebrews. So these are Jewish Christians and churches with Jews. Okay, the Hebrews, 12 tribes. Okay, so Hebrews, we know what Hebrews is. Hebrews is the the faith chapter. Everybody reads the faith chapter. Let's go to Hebrews 1. Let's start in context, right? So it goes, it it Hebrews 10 is you know all the scary stuff people talk about, right? Where you know, if you willfully sin after the knowledge of the truth, so if you turn away from what the sacrifice of Christ and go back to the temple system, then there is no more sacrifice for sins. Okay, that's not that doesn't mean somebody that sins and screws up, they've willfully sinned, they're gonna go burn in hell forever. That's not what that means, okay. So that's Hebrews 10. Hebrews is supposed to encourage you in your faith, the whole book, amen. Okay, the whole book is supposed to encourage you in your faith. It was supposed to encourage the Jewish Christians being persecuted and tempted to go back to the law system that in Jerusalem there was still a temple there at the time. Okay, there is no temple there anymore. And most likely you're probably Gentile and you're not part of the 12 tribes, uh, physical descendant of uh Jacob or Israel, right? Maybe you are, praise God. But anyway, so the whole book is to encourage the reader in their faith. So Hebrews 11 explains it to you very simply. It's very simple if you read it. Now, faith is confidence in what we hope for, and assurance about what we do not see. King James, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Okay. Now, standard version. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the convictions, the conviction of things not seen. Okay. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. I like that. The assurance. Amplified. I like amplified sometimes. Now, faith is the assurance, title deed, confirmation of things hoped for, divinely guaranteed. Divinely guaranteed. Your healing is divinely guaranteed at the cross. Your eternal life is divinely guaranteed at the cross. You know, a lot of times with healing and deliverance, it doesn't come exactly how you want it to. You get stuck in a corner again, you get stuck in the wall. You want the healing this way, you want the deliverance to happen instantly. You want this, you want that. That's not submitting to God's will. God's will is fact. I need healing, fact, I need deliverance. Lord, you do it your way. My life is yours. I trust your word. And you might be praying self-deliverance at night, you might be declaring healing scriptures. Praise God, that's all good. And then struggle for a little bit, and then you go to a random uh a random conference, and somebody comes up and prays for you, and you get instantly healed. And that was the way God wanted to do it. Another time, maybe you just go and you you're in a in a small prayer group or something, somebody cast the devil off your head. I don't know. But it can be different. There's so many different stories of how God healed somebody, delivered somebody. And it might not exactly be like how you think it's going to be, like you pray and then, oh, I feel better. Wow, that was awesome, God. It could be you prayed for a year or two, and then you randomly are driving down the road and you receive healing. I prayed for people to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you know, with the uh the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you know, the gift of tongues, you know, the prayer language. I prayed for people and they've sent me emails that I think I've had two different people say this. You prayed for me, and I was driving down the road singing a worship song, and all of a sudden I just got hit with the Holy Ghost. I got the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I was singing in tongues, praying in tongues. Driving on the road. So allow God to be God. You are supposed to just have faith. Okay. You are supposed to have faith. You are supposed to believe God is good and that your your sin is is is washed away, and that you're a daughter, a son of God. That's what you're supposed to believe. You're supposed to believe the truth that you died with Christ, you're baptized uh into his death, and you're risen to newness of life. And now you're a new creation, you're a new person. It's no longer you that live, but Christ that lives in you. The problem most of us have is that we hit the wall and then we just and then we think it's all you know, us, us, us, us, us, all about us. What I do wrong, what can I do? How do I figure it out? Instead of rest and trust and faith. So let's go here. So now faith is the assurance, title deed, uh, title deed, confirmation of things hoped for, divinely guaranteed, and the evidence of things not seen, the conviction of their reality. Faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses. Okay. So being assured that whatever you're hoping you're hoping for, it can come to pass, it will come to pass. And then he gives examples. Then it says, Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. So through their what? Trusting in the unseen, trusting God, basically. For by the elders obtained a good report. All right. By faith, by trusting in the unseen, by having hoped for God to come through for you. By faith, we understand that the universe was formed at God's command. God spoke and the universe came to being. That's how it happened. It says right there how it happened. Okay. That what we so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. So what was seen was not made by it was made by invisible forces. So you could create some. God created the world without anything being there. Amazing, huh? Hebrews 11:4. Then he talks about the story of Abel. By faith, Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. So Abel had faith. By faith, he was commended as righteous when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith, Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. So that's the faith of Abel. By faith, Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, because Abel had faith in the Messiah, the coming Messiah. And so he gave his what? The best of his flock. Cain trusted in his works, and he went and he dug up the best of his fruit. He said, Look how hard I worked. See the difference there? Are you Cain? Are you Abel? And what did Cain do? Cain got jealous of the grace person, of the faith person, just like nowadays. The guy that works really hard and is trying his best to overcome and be self-righteous and keep all the law. It just boggles their mind. They can't believe it. We're resting in Jesus, his righteousness. We understand that the Messiah is everything. It's nothing to do with us and our self-righteousness. Once you let go of your self-righteousness, it gets a lot easier. You just let it go. And remember, the flesh and the mind is programmed by self-righteousness because that's in the world. Everybody's self-righteous in a way, right? So God commended him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. So Abel's faith still speaks. By faith, Enoch was taken from this life so that he did not experience death. He could not be found because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. Okay, so he talks about Enoch pleased God. Okay. Then it goes to where I was talking about, what I want to talk about, Hebrews 11, 6. And it is what? Impossible to please God. Without what? Trusting in Him. Faith. Trusting in the unseen. Having hope for something to come. That's how you interact with God, having hope for things. So I feel like I want to tell you there's something out there that should just write down the things that you're hoping for. Just write it down. Write a letter to God. Maybe make some uh point bullet points. This is what I'm trusting you for. Just write it down. And instead of crying about everything and trying to figure it all out, just go back to that piece of paper once in a while. You don't have to obsess over it. Just go back to the paper and remind the Lord this is what you're trusting him for, and you're believing because it lines up with his word. He withholds no good things to those who walk uprightly. There you go. No good thing. So I know if I walk in the light, I walk with a good heart towards the Lord. I uh I'm I'm quick to you know confess and forsake things and do my best to live uh a righteous life to the best of my ability and love people, care about people. I'm not perfect, right? But walk in the light, walk in the truth of God, have fellowship with God. I know that he will withhold no good thing to those who walk uprightly. So what does that say? I walk in the light as he is in the light, and we have fellowship with one another. The blood of his son cleanses me from all unrighteousness, and he will withhold no good thing to me. Because I walk what? Uprightly with a relationship with him. So no good thing is gonna withhold my life. So I don't have to sit here and hit a wall and be afraid about finances, about a spouse, family, uh uh, car, what I'm gonna do for ministry, what's my life gonna look like, my health. I don't I don't have to do any of that because I trust in the Lord. I have faith in his word. And so it's very important that you understand that his word is powerful and it's transforming you. Your mind is transforming, your emotions are transforming while you read the word and while you pray in fellowship with the Holy Ghost. Another thing with me is when I uh when I read like the word, I don't read it like most people do. Like I can read it, I mean, I do, like sometimes I read like you know, a whole chapter or two chapters or a book or whatever, right? Usually I just when I feel like led to, I just sit down and I just tell the Lord. Like him to teach me something from the word, and I get maybe about three or four sentences, you know, like little blocks, you know, for scriptures, and then I just start uh just praising God for how wonderful the word is. Isn't that neat? So, like I used to be like I'd have to read and read and read, and I feel like I was doing out of religion, and then now I just have this relationship with God, which you do as well, because you're a born-again person and you have the Holy Spirit, so you have the same Holy Spirit as me. I read the word and it's fun and exciting, and it's literally like three or four uh uh lines, and I'm like, wow, that's wonderful, Lord. That's so beautiful. I start crying sometimes because I see the beauty of God's word and the cross and what he did for us. But before, when I was self-righteous a lot and I was under his works-based doctrines and trying to be good enough for God and always condemning myself, I thought reading the word was like I had to do it. If I didn't do it every day, I was gonna burn in hell, you know? And we get taught that stuff. We get taught that we're not, you know, we have to do, do, do, do, do to please God. But in reality, faith is holding on to the unseen, believing that God is gonna come through for him. What could Abraham do other than his regular duties with his wife to produce a baby? You know, he couldn't force his wife uh, you know, to get pregnant at their exact time. He couldn't have her take pills, he couldn't have her do anything. He had to trust that God was gonna do it through him somehow. Okay, so in the same way, you have to trust that God's gonna do what he said through you. If God told you that he's gonna use you to go on missions trips, then trust that God's gonna take you on missions trips. If God has told you uh, you know, that you're gonna be married someday, then just trust the word of the Lord. Just trust him. You don't have to obsess over it, trust him. If God said you're gonna have a business, you don't have to try to figure out how to start the business, trust the Lord. He withholds no good thing to those who walk uprightly. So he's not gonna withhold any good thing to you. But the key is really is to have your conscience cleansed. You want your heart cleansed. You you don't want to have this uh self-righteous mindset that's always trying to condemn you. You know, most, a lot of people, not most, a lot of people live in condemnation all the time. Every little thing they do, they're so obsessed with, oh, I did this, I did this, oh, I said this, you're being self-righteous. Let it go. God's grace covers you. If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship, fellowship with one another. We have fellowship with God Almighty, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all unrighteousness. And then later on, he talks about I write these things so you don't sin. But if any man sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And so you walk in the light, you screw up, you make mistakes, God washes you, you you get back with him, you keep going. You don't want to be legalistic and think everything is doom and gloom and curses and all this stuff. You want to believe in God's power to keep you, his power to deliver you, his power to free you, his power to heal you, all that stuff, prosper you. So just change your mind, repent. So it's impossible to please God without having faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who want sincerely or earnestly seek him. So be sincere when you're seeking him, be diligent. Be sincere, be diligent. Remind him of his promises, remind him that he's a good father. And if you feel like you're far away from God, you know, it's very interesting. I have a, you know, I I, you know, because I was I went through so much trauma and stuff when I was younger with the cult I was in, and just a lot of self-righteous works-based doctrines and weird stuff I went through. I really had to have God father me. I was extremely afraid of uh going to the lake of fire. I was more afraid of judgment after I got saved than before I was saved. So, like I wasn't afraid of God until I started learning a lot of false doctrine and trying to be self-righteous. And I was really, I had this extreme fear of hell as a Christian, a baby Christian. And, you know, I was dealing with voices and torment because I thought I'd blaspheme the Holy Spirit. You know, there's a lot of people out there just like uh I was. There's tons of people I emailed a ministry, uh, you know, I think I blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Okay. Well, if you think you did, and you're emailing a Christian ministry, uh, because okay, somebody that blasphemes the Holy Spirit is not emailing for prayer or to confess it or whatever. So you made a mistake, you may have said something wrong, you may have done something wrong, and you feel convicted for it, you feel bad about it. That's the Lord. That's you know, that that tells me that you have God, that God is still working on you. Somebody that, you know, loses the supposedly loses their salvation, does that, or whatever. Uh, I don't believe people can lose their salvation if they're really born again, right? If you're saved, you're always saved. But you have I had to get that too. That was another thing. I lived in this constant fear, and then I was always about behavior. Everything was about my behavior, how much I prayed, how much I gave, if I tithed a certain exactly 10%, or if I was under 10%, then I was gonna be cursed. All this stuff. And it was all legalism, and so God had to father me out of it. And he gave me the father's friends, I believe he gave me the father's friend's ministry, a ministry of the Holy Spirit. Because, you know, people need to know the love of the Father, that Father God is good, and that if Jesus said it's his good kingdom or his good pleasure to give you the kingdom. So, Father, I pray tonight that those watching this would experience your kingdom in a new level, a new grace, Lord. I pray that the kingdom of God would show up powerfully for them in their life, that they would experience more healing, more deliverance, more breakthrough, more revelation, more wisdom. I pray for the gifts of the Spirit to come uh to manifest in their lives. I pray for the anointing of God to just uh just uh pour out upon them, Lord, that they'd have new, fresh, uh, fresh anointing, fresh fire, that they would feel your presence more, that their heart would be open to you, that you you would teach them who they are. And Lord, I pray for those that are suffering tonight, that they would see the light at the end of the tunnel. Those people, Lord, that feel like they're at the wall, Lord, and they're they're those Israelites standing at the the Red Sea and looking back and seeing the Egyptians. It's a fact that they are in a tough situation. And Lord, it's a fact that these people could be in a tough situation. But Lord, the truth is that all things are possible to those who believe. And we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. And Lord, you promise in your word that when the gospel is preached, when Jesus died and rose from the dead, that everyone who calls upon him shall be saved. Lord, you promise when your word is preached, when your gospel is preached, the good news, Lord, you promise that signs and wonders would follow. And Lord, it's your promises, Lord, how we conquer. And I pray that signs and wonders would go forth through the screen tonight. And whoever's watching or listening to this would receive from your presence and that miracles would come and healings would come and deliverance, and that that anybody tormented with mental illness would be released tonight from it. And anxiety would go, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Lord, and I thank you for filling your people with your spirit, and I thank you, Lord, for renewing their mind, and I thank you for eternal life. I could pray all day, Lord. Lord, I just bless everybody. I love them, I care about them, and I just want to see them prosper in all things. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen, guys.
