Hello. Hey guys, it's uh Nick Grimsman Spirit Stream number sixty-four. I got my new little setup here. Let me know how how you like it. I have my computer right here instead of kind of like I'm looking at the computer down when I'm typing, like for scriptures and stuff. So I'm uh I'm right here looking at you. Hopefully that helps. And then I'm down here looking at the screen, kind of like a uh one-man show right now. Uh, but uh that's where we're at. And so the Bible says not to despise the days of small beginnings, and I like it uh kind of small because you know you get start getting bigger and bigger, and then you miss out maybe on some things that you get to experience when you have a smaller type uh uh ministry and things like that. So thank you so much for joining. This is Nick Grimmsman Spirit Stream 64. It's in the afternoon, so I don't know how many people are going to be watching on the afternoon, but I want to just jump in. Hi, June from uh on YouTube, appreciate it. Hi, Amber, good to see you on YouTube. Uh, my little uh dog, little Timmy, that's usually on here, he uh had to get his teeth cleaned. I didn't even know they did that, but I guess small dogs like him because he's real small, he's 11 pounds. So he uh had to get his teeth cleaned because he was a shelter dog before I found him chasing uh dog or cars out in on the street. I didn't find him, but the dog catcher found him as a little puppy. So then I got him and he had some issues with his teeth, all cleaned out perfect. He had to be put under with anesthesia. So I was like, you know, Lord, I'm trusting you. He's my little baby, you know, because he's my little dog, you know, he's my little friend. And God blessed me with him uh about a year ago, and he's been a really good dog. He went through sickness one time, but God's really used it for uh for the good to um to grow me in more trust. You know, a lot of times we try to uh you know, trust God, but we get in the way. And so today I feel like I want to talk to you about how I've learned to trust God in certain situations, tough situations, scary situations, all sorts of stuff. So let's start with prayer. Uh thank you for uh sharing the broadcast, uh, encouraging others uh to watch. If if it blesses you, share it. Thank you for your support, ministry, your financial support, blah, blah, blah. I really appreciate it. And it helps the ministry move forward. So, Lord, I I thank you. Uh, I have no clue really, Lord. I jumped on here just to say hi to people and to try to encourage someone. I don't really know what I'm gonna be talking about, but I felt anyway, I felt like I was supposed to encourage people anyway in rest. But Lord, I just thank you so much that I can pray all day. I love you. I thank you for this broadcast. I thank you for the presence of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God here. And I ask that you, Lord, would speak through my heart, through my mouth to help your individuals that love you, these individuals that love you. And I pray, Lord, that your people would be in unity and that we would learn how to uh walk in in the grace and the peace and the love of Jesus Christ. Amen. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. So, yeah, so I used to think, okay, so I used to think, so we're taught that we just, you know, kind of declare scriptures a bunch. We just keep declaring scriptures and God's gonna do what we we were commanding him to do. You ever you ever get like that? Do you ever get like where uh you feel like you're just declaring scriptures all day and nothing's happening? You're like, what's going on? Maybe you're somebody like that as you know, you've prayed for years, you're declaring scriptures all day, you're you're trying to get the breakthrough and it's never coming. You're like, what's wrong with me? What is going on here, right? And um there it's good to declare scriptures, it's good to speak with your mouth what you're believing for. That's all good things, but you can turn it into kind of like a religious thing where you're just speaking a lot. And you know, I used to drive down the freeway home or uh home from church or uh to work, and there was this giant uh mansion on the freeway up in the mountains here in Phoenix, this little mountain hill. And I used to declare and decree that I was gonna get that mansion because I was a young Christian. I heard uh a minister talking about how you can just declare things and you just get them, right? So I was declaring for this mansion when I was a young Christian, um, you know, still very insecure, a lot of rejection, all that stuff. And and I was decreeing and declaring I was gonna get this mansion up on the hill. And it'd be cool to live there, absolutely right. But I was driving by and like I really thought that I was gonna get the mansion, that I was just gonna get this mansion because I declared and decreed it. That's not how it works, guys. Okay, that's not how it works. The way it works is that anything we ask God according to his will, according to his will for our lives, for the kingdom of God, for the people around us, according to his will and purposes, we will receive. Okay, so how do you know something's in God's will for your life? Well, it's a promise, right? A promise of healing. So God has a plan for you to be healed, and healing can take place in in different ways. You can get deliverance, you can get um uh, you know, uh physical healing supernaturally, you can get a miracle, you can get you know supplements, whatever it is. There's there's a healing that can take place. So, God, your healer and your deliverer. Those are promises. Having a mansion on a hill is not specific, specifically a promise, right? And maybe that was uh uh a heart's desire when I was young because it was connected to different things. So you might have a heart's desire that you feels like a you feel in your heart that this is a desire. I want this person in my life, or I want this type of car, I want this type of business, and it's in your heart you feel like, right? But then later on you find out that it was attached to some sort of uh brokenness inside of you. So you pray and beg and declare and decree, and you never receive it, and you find out later it was connected to lust, it was connected to ego, it was connected to the lust of the flesh, the pride of life. Okay, and so if it's connected to those things, then what do you think God wants to do? Do you think God wants to just give you something that could destroy your life? So at the time, a mansion I couldn't handle. I had a lot of issues in my character, and so a mansion wasn't a good idea for me, but in my heart, this mansion on the freeway seemed like it would be so wonderful. Oh, a dream to live in a mansion. Well, I wasn't renewed yet in my mind, I wasn't uh I wasn't more mature yet. And so a lot of people get in these doctrines, they start decreeing and declaring, decreeing and declaring, and they never get what they they want, they never get what they they're desiring. Why? The junk in there, this this piece of your soul. So, what I've learned is that if you are believing God for something, it's usually connected to your soul, your mind and your emotions, a some sort of belief system. So you've been praying a long time for a new job, and you're just mad because God's not giving you a new job. You just feel like this job is horrible. What can why am I here? I don't understand it. Why, Lord? I don't understand. You go and you complain, you get mad at the supervisor, your, your um, your uh your secretary, your co-workers, you're all upset, you get offended, they persecute you, you don't understand why why? And you're praying and begging and fasting for a new job, but it feels like you're stuck financially. You're you have to work this job, and and you just you're confused. Okay, maybe it's words for you, I don't know. Rethink it, okay. Remember, the goal isn't for you to have a mansion and to have a perfect job and to have the white picket fence and the 2.5 kids, you know, as they say, the American dream, and the the nice Cadillac out front and the boat in the back, and you're just just enjoying your life 24-7, it's just a perfect life. That's not the goal. The goal is for you to be crucified with Christ. It's not you that lives anymore, it's Christ that lives in you. So you are a new creation, and God is using things for the good to get you to transform in your identity, in your character, and to walk more in love and faith and to see uh your dreams really come true, your true dreams that are inside your spirit, your heart in there, your new heart. Okay. And so you're in this job situation. I'm just using it for example, and it seems really tiring. It seems like it's never ending. Sit with the Lord and figure out with him, because he's your counselor and he's he will give you wisdom, and you'll find that there's a belief system in there. Maybe he wants you to overcome discouragement. And you've just been living in discouragement, going to work, hating it, and discouraged all the time. And it just keeps happening. You're fasting, you're going to church or prayer, and it just keeps this thing, is like you're going around the mountain, going around, you're declaring, you're decreeing, you're going around the mountain. Maybe God wants you to overcome the giant of discouragement in this season. Maybe God wants you to overcome the giant of impatience. Maybe you're dealing with impatience, a stronghold of impatience, and he's trying to transform you in that area. And a lot of times we don't we don't see this because we are uh wanting to get out of the situation. We don't want to be in the jail cell, as we say, right? The spiritual jail cell anymore. We don't want to be in this situation anymore. Of course, you don't. Who wants to go through bad things? You know what I'm saying? Like, who wants to go through bad things? So I empathize with you, but we all go through bad things. But the promise is that God works all things out for our good. Okay. So I never got the mansion. You know, if God wants me to get a mansion later on, fine, I don't really care anymore. It's not in there anymore. Why? Because it was connected to a piece of my old self that had ego and pride and worldliness in it. And the closer I got to the Holy Ghost, the closer I started uh getting to God. I started learning who I was in Christ and materialism and having mansions and fancy cars and all that stuff wasn't something in me anymore. I started changing and I just want to do things for the kingdom now. And I know God will supply all my needs in Christ Jesus, and He will He will withhold no good thing to those who walk uprightly. So He'll give me good things in the right time. And so I don't have to sit around and declare and decree I'm gonna get a new house or declare and decree I'm gonna get a new car, or declare and decree I'm gonna have a mansion, or whatever, right? Because the promises of God are in him, what? Yes and amen. All the promises of God are in Christ, yes and amen. They're always yes and amen. And he promises he will take care of all my needs in Christ Jesus, and that I'm blessed already through the blood of Jesus. See? And so I just come from a place of understanding that whatever God wants me to have, he's gonna give me because he withholds no good things to those who walk uprightly. So I don't have to sit here and declare and decree for a mansion, declare and decree for a car, declare a decree for this stuff and that stuff, because I know God is good. I've experienced his goodness and his kindness. And it just took me to go through a lot of stuff to realize this. So you might be there, you might be somebody that's sitting there. Um, are you guys still with me? Just making sure I'm still connected. Okay, so uh, so you might be there in that situation where you're really believing God for something and it seems like it's not happening yet, and you're getting frustrated or discouraged. Keep going. Sit with the Lord and seek him, ask him, hey Lord, is there some sort of something you're trying to get me to overcome here or to think differently about? Like, for example, your job might be really rough. You might not like your situation, but you have a job that's giving you food, that's giving you shelter. There's people that are struggling all over the world. You know, I've been to what 50 countries or something. And there's people struggling everywhere. So, you know, start to think of it. Maybe God just wants you to be thankful for your cup of coffee or your uh, you know, or or uh your ability to be able to drive to work or for your health. He just wants you to be health or uh happy where you're at, maybe, so that you learn contentment. So you learn that life isn't about trying to get things. Eternal life is not trying to, you're not trying to get things, guys, okay? Walking with the Lord is not trying to get things. You know, I first I first got saved and I got under these doctrines of, you know, if you give a bunch of money and you pray a lot, then God's gonna give you, you're gonna become a millionaire and you're gonna uh you're gonna be famous or whatever it is. You're gonna you're gonna get everything the world wants to give you. So the world system, that's the world system. The world system is all about money, materialism, greed, fame, lust of flesh, pride of life. That's the world system. Okay, and the kingdom of God is totally different. The kingdom of God is all about the spirit of God, about God's goodness, about fellowship with Jesus. So sometimes you have to just rethink where you're at. Just rethink your rethink it. Okay, I'm in a bad situation. That's a fact. I don't like it. Personally, I don't like the situation. I've been in so many situations that I personally did not like, but I didn't deny I was in a in that position, right? So I wasn't denying that I was in this position. You know, like you get diagnosed with something, you don't deny it. It's a fact. You were diagnosed with something. Okay, so Lord, you promise me wisdom. See, God promises us wisdom, and He is the God of all wisdom and might, right? So in here, you have all the wisdom you need. You just have to access it by believing correctly, believing that you're, excuse me, you are uh you are loved by God even in your circumstances. Another lie is that I had to overcome was having a lot of money means God blessed you, that you have favor with God. Okay, that's what the Pharisees taught. Okay. The Pharisees taught that, guys. The Pharisees taught if you have a bunch of money, then you're blessed by God. And then it goes into Christianity. So then we're in crit, we're we're you know, we're these Christians, and uh, you know, all these people are saying, Oh, you know, I got all this money and I'm blessed this way, this way, because of God. And then we think, oh, we're not blessed because we don't have a new car or a big house or a large social media following or whatever it is, right? A business and making all this money. Contentment with godliness is great gain. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Okay, so being a godly person and being content where you're at in life in all things is great wealth in itself. Okay, that's great wealth in itself is being content in your heart. So sometimes you have to you have to go out of yourself and start seeing from a different perspective. You one thing you you have to you have to learn to let go of is comparing yourself to others. You're a certain age, you're comparing yourself to people of your age group, you're not married, so you're comparing yourself to all your friends that have have kids and families. You don't have a ministry yet, so you look at ministers, you're like, Oh, I want to be a minister, so I'm not I'm a loser because I'm not in ministry yet. So you start comparing yourself to others, and the Bible says you're not wise when you do that. So I get tempted all the time to look, oh, that person here, they're doing that, they're doing that crusade. Oh, wow. Uh, and I'm, you know, I'm doing a live stream. And then I could go into negativity and go, oh, God doesn't love me as much as they love He loves that person because they got to do that or whatever. But that's not wise. So you have to realize that God is a specific plan for your life. And if you're in a season of where you feel very small and you feel ineffective, or you just, you know, you're working at the local burger joint and you you feel like you're, you know, you're not significant, you are significant to the kingdom of God and to the Lord Jesus Christ. Wherever you're at, you're significant. So encourage yourself with this. Encourage yourself that wherever you're at, you're significant to God, and He cares about every little thing. And the way, and what I want to talk about now is I want to move on to how I've received things from the Lord where I didn't think I could receive them in the future. Or uh I didn't, I prayed so long to receive them and I didn't understand. And so I prayed and prayed and tried to receive things. And I declared and I decreed and I didn't receive things. I'm like, I don't understand this. And I now understand that it's about character, it's about what your God's plan is for your life. And remember, your path, God already knows the path that you're going on, He already knows where you're going. Amen. Hey Motiki, good to see you uh in Africa, YouTube. Thank you so much for joining. Okay, so God already knows the path that you're taking because He is already at the end of your life. And so let's say at the end of you, let's say He's promised you something. He's promised you you are, you know, you know that God has called you to be a pastor or an evangelist or whatever it is, or to be a business owner. So at the end of your life, you're gonna look back, and that's all happened already in God's mind, right? So God already knows how he's gonna get you to where you're going. And then you go through these things and these valleys, and you go, oh, well, I don't have a church yet, or I don't have a ministry yet. How am I gonna do missions work or how am I gonna do this? I don't know how to do it. And it could be around a big bend in the narrow road. There's a big bend right there with a big mountain in the side, and you don't see that God's taking you around this mountain, but the mountain's so big, let's say debt or lack or uh family problems, or you went through a bad relationship, whatever it is. There's this big mountain in the way, and God's taking you around it, but all you see is the mountain. He's already standing at the other side, celebrating with you when you open your first church or you do your first missions trip or you get married or whatever. But all you see is this mountain and you freak out. So, what does that do? That takes you to your emotions, okay? So I can't stress this enough is that your mind is being transformed by the word of God. It's like being swept, swept, cleaned, and then rebuilt. Okay. And so the way you think and the obsessive thoughts and the anxieties and all that stuff, that's your carnal mind. That's not the mind of Christ. And so your carnal mind is what needs to be demolished by the truth and recreated by the Spirit and by the Word of God. And so you're going through, everybody's going through this process to start believing differently, to start actually walking in the promises of God, start walking in that newness of life and the faith of Jesus that lives inside of each of us. So you have the faith of Jesus living inside your body. You've been given a measure of his faith, however, that works. You have a certain portion of faith. Some people have bigger portions than others. I don't understand it. Okay. But so you are transforming. The problem is that you still think you're alive. That's your problem. That's most everybody's problem. You still want control of your life. It's all about you. That's the problem. Surrendering is how you overcome that problem. And you do that in your soul, your feelings, your emotions, your heart. For example, you want to be healed. You've been praying for healing, but it has to be your way. Okay. It has to be, it has to be uh through a supernatural miracle. You have to Be healed supernaturally, and so you're praying, and it's not coming to pass. I've been through this personally, and then all of a sudden you have to get surgery, and you're like, Why do I have to get surgery? I don't understand, Lord. I prayed and prayed and fasted, and I didn't receive healing, but now I'm forced to get surgery. What happens to your emotions at that time, or you're thinking, God didn't answer my prayer, God's upset with me. I missed out on the healing, I didn't receive a miracle. What am I going to tell my Christian friends if I get surgery? That, you know, or those the outsiders that say they saw me praying or whatever. They saw the scriptures that I was healed by his wounds, and now I'm getting surgery. I'm a loser. See, so you get these thought processes and these emotions about self-condemnation, all that stuff. And then afterwards, you you realize that that's how God wanted to heal you. He chose that route somehow for you. But you didn't want it that way, see. And so sometimes you pray for things and God does it a different way than how you want it. Like you wanna a business, but you want it on your terms. You want you want the money to come out of the blue for you, or you want uh a business partner, you you know, you want it this way, you don't want to start small, you don't want to uh go to school to learn or anything, you just want a business, and you sit there and you declare you're having a business, and it's been 10 years. Where's my business? But God's like sending you people, and you're like, I'm not interested, you're not listening that way, because it has to come the way you want it to show up, okay? The way you want it to show up. Let go. That's a part of controlling your own life. You're controlling your own life. Your life does not belong to you anymore, does it? Yes or no? As a born-again Christian, as someone with the Holy Ghost, you don't belong to yourself anymore. You have been purchased with a price. Now, therefore, glorify God in your body. So do his will. And what's his will? For you to surrender to Christ, to the Holy Spirit in you and allow him to live his life through you. So the way that I go through things, this is just to maybe help somebody, is you're praying for something, you you have a need, you find those scriptures. Okay. God shall supply all my needs in Christ Jesus. In everything, what give thanks. In all circumstances, give thanks to God for this is his will for you in Christ Jesus. And then uh you cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you. So, what does the devil try to do? Oh, my kid's going through something, my dog's going through something, my aunt is going through something. Oh, this is happening. Oh, what is God? What does the devil try to do to you? He's trying to get you to what? Believe God's not good, believe God is not faithful, believe you have to keep you have to keep fasting 20 hours a week, you have to keep declaring 80,000 scriptures a minute. You know what I mean? He gets you to go into yourself and to become self. What am I not doing right? What is wrong with me? What can I do more? And you get burnt out, and then you think God's not answering your prayers. You're like, what happened to God? I did everything, Lord. I, I, I. When you start saying I, I, I, that's when you need to just hold on a second, Lord. It's about you, you, you, not me. What would you like me to do? Because you get all the formulas. You, you know, most people read, you know, 50 books on healing and deliverance and prosperity, and they're still in the same problems. Seriously, guys, I've been in ministry for 15 years. I meet more people that know more about healing uh than scholars. They have uh read every single book. They know about inner healing, they know about they've been to the inner healing schools, they've been to the deliverance schools, they paid money to go to the colleges to learn uh you know how to love better. You know, they go to the Christian colleges, they do the online certificates, and they're still stuck. Why? Surrender. It's surrender and it's believing correctly. So you could go to an online school, you know, you pay a thousand dollars, you get the certificate, but if it teaches you a bunch of false doctrines, what good is that? So your online school should be you and the Holy Ghost together. That should be your school, not your online school, but your school. Your schooling should be you and the Holy Ghost. So today, just make the choice that you are going to be taught personally by the Lord Jesus Christ, living in your body through the Holy Spirit. Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit. Okay, just choose it, Lord. I want to learn from you, especially if you're somebody like me that learned a bunch of false doctrines everywhere. I learned so many false doctrines, and I'm not saying my doctrines are perfect, but I learned so many hurtful things. You know, I used to think I could lose my salvation. I'm a born-again, spirit-filled Christian. I have the Holy Spirit living in my body. I have been sealed for eternity, I have been perfected forever through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Everlasting covenant, God will never leave me nor forsake me. So the last thing I needed to hear when I was a young Christian, struggling with sinful behaviors because I didn't know who I was, was I could lose my salvation. That doesn't teach me the goodness of God, that teaches me fear. But in first John, it says that those who fear, fear what? Condemnation, punishment. They haven't been what? Made perfect or matured yet in love. And so, what was my answer? My answer was actually, I need to learn more of the gospel about Jesus Christ and his goodness. Because every time you hear the gospel, the good news of our salvation, Christ is glorified, and the Holy Spirit can manifest. And then you experience more of God's love. That's what transforms a baby Christian from struggling to knowing their identity in Christ, not telling them they can lose their salvation. So, this thing I struggled with for so long that I was struggling left and right because I was trying to perfect myself in the flesh until the point of struggling so bad that I gave up and I cried out to the Lord, and he started showing me grace, and I started learning grace. Some of you learned grace early on. I didn't. I learned a bunch of rules and regulations and uh you know being sinlessly perfect and God's mad at you all the time and you might miss out on heaven. That's self-righteousness, self-righteousness, that's what that is. You cannot earn eternal life. It is a gift, it is a gift, you're gifted eternal life. If you're truly, so my stance is people say, oh, one saved always, mine is if saved, always saved. Amen. So if you are saved, if you have the Holy Spirit, if you truly have had heart circumcision, your heart has been circumcised by the Spirit of God, and you've confessed Jesus as Lord, and you believe with all your heart, right, that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. And if your heart has transformed, you have that. If saved, always saved. You need to relax, see? And so I I finally got it, and then now I'm kind of like a uh I really can't stand the losing salvation stuff because I see it damage so many young Christians. It hurt me so bad. Religious tithing was another one that tried to destroy me. You know, I was taught that you owed back tithes. You owe money to God or you'll be cursed. I owed when I when I didn't tithe for a year or two when I first got saved, whatever. I learned I owed money and I pay God money so I don't get cursed. Guys, that's self-righteousness. That's not resting in the goodness of God. Hello, 10% of your money doesn't belong to God, 100% of it does. What's happening here? Flow with God, give as your heart wants to give. Those who reap, you know, uh they give sparingly or blessingly in the hopes of blessing somebody or blessing others, will reap blessings, just like if you give, it shall be given back unto you. Shaken down, pressed together, running over men will give under your bosom. That's not talking about money. They use the scriptures wrong, guys. You got to catch these people, right? That's talking about sowing love and compassion and grace towards others. You show people love and compassion, then they're gonna, it's gonna be shaken up, pressed on, and people are gonna give it back to you. If you show people blessings, you'll reap of blessings. You want to bless people, you'll reap of blessings. But if you give greedily and you unforgiving and you hold things against people, you give greedily and all that stuff, then that's what you reap. See, it doesn't have to do with dollars amount and this percentage and that stuff. No, it's all about the new nature, your heart. Amen. And so be free to live in the spirit and love your neighbors yourself. You're supposed to learn to love your neighbors yourself, all the stuff you go through. You're supposed to be learning to love people and forgive people. I can't forgive these people. I can't well, you're probably believing a lie. So, what would what should you do? First, realize you can't forgive anybody without God's grace, right? You can't forgive somebody that hurt you as a child fully without the Holy Spirit doing it through you. So, what do you do? You realize you died with Christ, and now you just agree that you're forgiven completely, and everybody that ever hurt you is forgiven as well through Christ in you. And you just agree with the truth, and then you're not struggling for the rest of your life with all the junk you deal with. You ever meet those people? They've been to every single I don't know. I feel like I'm like uh lecturing. Am I lecturing? I don't know. Give me a comment, tell me I'm not lecturing. Maybe I am. You ever meet those people that they go to uh they go to every single inner healing thing, they go to counseling for years. Counseling's fine, inner healing's great, but eventually you have to stop talking about your past and do what Paul said. Remember, Apostle Paul, he was persecutor of the church, so he actually had to see people that he was consenting to their loved ones' death. He probably had to meet with people and talk with people that he was consenting to throw them in prison for the gospel. Maybe he even uh uh consented to some of them being put to death. Imagine that. You're in a church meeting and you consented to having the the cousin of the pastor put to death before you're a Christian. So he dealt with a lot of past issues, didn't he? Okay, thank you, Amber. Amber says good stuff. Thank you, Amber. Okay, so he dealt with a lot of past issues. So if you deal with a lot of past issues, eventually you do what Paul said. What did Apostle Paul say? The word of God says, This thing I do, this is the one thing I've not yet been perfected. So we're not perfect until we get our new body, till resurrection day. So you will not be perfect here in heaven or uh on earth. Maybe I'm in heaven right now, seated in Christ, amen. But you won't be perfect here on earth, you will not be perfected until you receive a new body because your soul is connected to your flesh. That's why when you get tempted, it's in your mind, it goes to your emotions, and then it goes into your flesh, it resurrects a part of your body, right? So let's say you were uh you were an immoral person before you get saved. So you get tempted to do immoral things, right? It comes through your mind, your emotions, and then tries to resurrect that part of your flesh that used to like to do that. The devil tries to trick you to think you're still alive. Oh, you like that. That's that's uh that you know that will satisfy you because you know God's not gonna satisfy you, whatever, right? And the lie comes in, then you start feeling the temptation, then temptation comes and you fall. Okay, so you so if you think about your soul, uh, so your your flesh, your soul is being renewed, right? So Paul said to forget those things behind. He's not perfect yet, he still makes mistakes. Not that he's living a sinful lifestyle, okay? You're not gonna live a sinful lifestyle as a born-again Christian forever. You're supposed to turn from ungodliness. Real grace teaches you to turn from ungodly behavior, okay, because it doesn't produce any fruit, okay, and it's bad testimony, right? And it hurts people and it can damage your walk with Christ. It can uh, you know, hurt yourself. You could die early, end up in prison, all sorts of stuff. So you want to repent of ungodly behavior, okay? And the grace of God teaches us that, but Paul said he's not yet perfected, so he still had issues or things that uh would flare up, uh, temptations. Um, you know, I'm sure he dealt with the temptation to uh stop uh stop uh ministering because he was highly persecuted. They used to beat him, they used to whip him, they did all sorts of bad stuff. So he was probably tempted to go hide in a mountain somewhere and just hang out with God for the rest of his life, okay? But he said he beat his body in subjection because he wanted to fulfill his purpose. He wanted the crown of glory, he wanted the rewards that were coming to him. And so that's what it means. He was beating his body in submission. He was being tempted, probably, to not do what he was supposed to do, go where God told him to go, because he knew he was gonna go there and get beat up. So he was tempted in different ways, you were, but he still went through normal temptations as well, just like us. Tempted to yell at somebody, tempted to get frustrated, right? Greed, all sorts of stuff he could be tempted with. So he wasn't yet perfected, he still had that human nature he had to deal with because he was in a human body. But we're gonna be perfected at resurrection day, so you can be uh encouraged that you're gonna have a new body without sin, without there's not gonna be any sort of that anymore. Praise God. Okay, so he said to for he forgot those things be behind him, he forgot the past. So you need to forget the past to move on. Okay, I'm not saying like uh, you know, you just oh, you just oh, it's not there anymore. No, you with the Lord's help, you ask him to help you just forget the past. So Apostle Paul didn't have to sit there every night and cry that he used to persecute people, or you don't have to sit there and think about the sin you did two years ago and mourn because you screwed up five years ago. You don't have to do that anymore. You have the spotless blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse your conscience from everything, to cleanse your memory from everything. But what happens is we get into these different things where we think we're broken. We're just a broken person. So you get, you know, you go to a church and they talk about, I'm always, you know, you're just a sinner saved by grace. You're always gonna have those desires, you're always gonna struggle with same-sex attraction, you're always gonna struggle with uh drugs, you're always gonna struggle with wanting to hurt people, you're always gonna do you're a sinner saved by grace. No, you're not. You were a sinner saved by grace. Now you're a saint of the most high God. You were holy, you were set apart, you were transformed by the power of the Holy Ghost. That's who you are. You're not an addict, you're not struggling, a struggling sinner. You are a man or woman of power. That's what you got to start believing. And yes, you may fall. Yes, you will still go through temptation, but Jesus Christ in you helps you overcome all things so that you will learn from your mistakes and you won't repeat them in the future. Amen. And as you learn from your mistakes, that's what grace can do, is teach the child the right way to go. It teaches us what to abstain from an ungodly behavior. So you may fall on some weird, ungodly behavior, but God can teach you through the horrible fall to get you out of it, to teach you godliness. See, all things work together for your good. If you're born again, God is working on you. If you have the Holy Spirit, God is changing you. Even when you don't see it, even when you make a mistake, even when you fall. We all fall, we all fall short sometimes. Okay. But we want to learn from, you know, you yelled at somebody at work. You want to learn from that. Okay, Lord, I repent. You make it right with that person. Lord, I just confess that to you. That was help me with that. And you make it right with the person, and then you transform. Lord, I learned. Wow, that was, you know, you're not mad at me, God. That was dumb. Now I got written up at work. I don't want to lose my job because of that. Okay, I'm gonna learn from bad choice. So instead of just making bad choices and not learning from, learn from them so you don't repeat them like you would tell your teenage kid, hey, you did something dumb, you made a dumb choice, you got tempted. Okay, get yourself up, wash yourself off, and keep moving. But what happens is if you think you lost your salvation or that you're just this horrible sinner that can never change, you just live in fornication as a Christian. You're just oh well, you know, I'm just a sinner, and you know, guys, you know, they just always want to be with women, so that's just the way I am. I can't change. I'm a hopeless sinner. No, get up and walk in the light, and God will cleanse you, and you can move on. You can move on from the bad choices, move on from the bad choices. Like, think of like uh sinful behaviors as like um childish things, like yelling at your spouse, it's childish, holding on to unforgiveness towards your neighbor, childish, lying, stupid, childish, sexual, uh immoral things, childish, dumb, stupid choices. See, just start looking at it as like this something I did when I was a sin. This is stupid. That's stuff people of the world do. I'm not interested. I have a new nature. See, you have a new nature, you have a new nature. So your old nature is is crucified with Christ, but your programming needs to transform. So you're still programmed like you're an old nature person. See, that's why you struggle. And depending on the doctrine that you receive is how you how you either walk in freedom or you walk in bondage. So if you believe you lose your salvation or that God's mad at you, or that you're never going to overcome anything, and you're always gonna be an addict, and you you've identified with different attractions and things like that, then it stunts your growth, and the enemy wins because what happens is that your growth is stunt, and then you're just wearing your diapers, your whole Christian walk. And churches are filled with these people. I meet people, there's an unlimited amount of Christians that I meet that are stuck in their diapers because of the way they believe and the way they've been taught. I'm not like I'm I'm not saying I know everything, guys, but I have experienced all this stuff. I have experienced feeling condemned all the time for everything I do, every little thing. I watched that TV show, I listened to that song. Oh, I went to the store and saw that magazine on the counter. I'm gonna go to hell. God hates me. Guys, I remember how hard it was walking in the flesh as a Christian, walking under the law, self-righteousness. Then I would be mad at people that seemed like they were kind of worldly and they were, they, they, they seemed to be blessed by God. I didn't understand, but they had a hold of grace differently than uh, you know, than most people. Okay, they had a they had they weren't self-righteous. And so even their life looked kind of off a little bit. God was, you know, it seemed like they were still free from a lot of stuff I was struggling with. I didn't understand it. They had a hold on grace more than I did. And then you can go extreme. So you can go extreme grace. Sometimes when people first experience grace, they go extreme in it and they think I can just live in sin because I have grace. That happens too. But if you're truly born again, God will reel you back in and teach you that ungodly behaviors always leads to decay of life. Okay, and we are supposed to renounce darkness and move forward in light. In love. We're supposed to walk in love and treat our treat our neighbors as we'd like to be treated, right? All these things that Jesus taught. We're supposed to walk in repentance, mind change, transformation, turning around. Your life as a uh a sinner is dead and gone, and you are living a new life now. And the mind and your emotions will tell your flesh that your old life was fun. Your old oh, that was fun. I had friends, I could go to the bar and have friends. Oh, I used to go on dates, it was exciting. I had to be with different people. Oh, I, you know, I used to make more money when I was immoral. And the enemy will use that to try to tell you, oh, that you know, you're just, you know, just go back, just live like the world, you'll be fine. But God is working inside you to transform you so that you are an overcomer and that you can change the world for Jesus. Okay, you have some sort of calling on your life, I don't know what it is, but God does. He has some sort of calling for you and he loves you, and he's trying to get you to repent, change your mind, and learn how your emotions. And how you think can dictate your life. So you're thinking nobody loves you, nobody loves you, you start feeling depressed, discouraged. Pretty soon you're diagnosed with depression. You start thinking, oh, I'll never be married, I'll never be married, always struggle with lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life, all this stuff. And then you start feeling what? Ungodliness. And then you go into ungodly behaviors, looking at stuff at the computer, doing all that stuff. Why? Because that lie came in and started giving you unbelief. So remember, it's a it's a it's uh it's a war of faith. It's a war of faith. Faith overcomes everything. The only way to please God is faith. So when you are in unbelief, you start going into sinful behaviors. When you stop believing for God to come through for you, that discouragement starts creeping in, and then the enemy uses a weapon to bring you into bondage. But you're never truly in bondage because you're in the spirit. You just got tricked, fallen from grace, basically. Now you're in the law and you're being tormented by the devil because he's made you self-righteous. Now you're relying on yourself because you're in unbelief. You got to pull out of that, change your mind. So we'll say a prayer here. I'm gonna end this, but uh, we'll say a prayer. We're gonna we're gonna start walking in faith. And faith is not how you feel, okay? Unbelief is a feeling, can come in as a feeling. But so when you feel that thing, when you feel that discouragement or that unbelief, catch it in the mighty name of Jesus. I don't deal with that no more. I am not receiving discouragement or unbelief. That's ridiculous. Oh, there's that thought. In the mighty name of Jesus, not interested, devil. And then what happens is he stops feeding you the same lure, like a fishing, like somebody fishing. He's trying to lure you with a belief system, lure you with feeling like you're no good, lure you into thinking you have to do a bunch of stuff to get God to love you or to be free, luring you into thinking you're always a broken person and you'll never overcome. You know, I'll just end with this real quick because I I think I covered it and then I just went on. Uh, going back to going to counseling and always thinking you're a broken person, there comes a point, like Apostle Paul, forgetting those things behind me, but I press on and I press on to the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. So eventually, in your counseling appointment with your pastor or in your prayer time, you have to come to the point where you believe you're forgiven and that you can let go of all the trauma in your soul. And it's as easy. I mean, literally, guys, I'm I know that you're like, oh, well, Nick acts like he's arrived, but I've been through really bad trauma. I was in a cult, I was brainwashed by a real cult leader. You can look it up online. Okay, his name was Tony Alamo. It's a real brainwashed cult, okay. I went through severe mental illness, schizophrenia. I went through heartbreak, I went through rejection, I went through horrible things. I was rejected by ministry people, I was rejected by friends, I was betrayed by somebody I cared about, all sorts of horrible things in my life, but God has worked it all out for the good. But I learned that if you change your mind, if you repent in your mind, which everyone can do if you're born again and God has given you the ability to repent. If you're born again, he's given you the gift of repentance. So you just choose to change your mind. So the way that you do it is, or one way is Lord, you know every single trauma that I've been through, all the betrayal, all the stuff, all the fear, and I have taken identity in a lot of it in my emotions. It's scarred me in my brain. It's, you know, I feel like it's part of me. But Lord, I am a new creation and I am in the spirit. And Lord, you live inside of me. And so today I'm renouncing this stuff. I am repenting, I'm changing my mind. I'm just choosing to change my mind with your help that I am no longer a traumatized, unforgiving, religious person. But now I am loving and kind and forgiven, and I can choose to forgive others. I am repenting, I'm choosing my true self, Christ in me, the hope of glory. I'm changing my mind with your help. Thank you, Lord. And you could just make that your prayer once in a while. When it starts flaring, Lord, I choose. I have chosen to repent of this. I have submitted to God and I've resisted these feelings and these thoughts for my past. And you can literally just say, I'm not looking at my past anymore. Let's say you went through a divorce 10 years ago and it comes up once in a while in your mind, oh, you know, it could have been different, blah, blah, blah now you're unhappy. You just, I'm not looking back at that anymore. It's under the blood. You did some last year. I ain't looking that at that anymore. It's under the blood. You know, one time I was sitting there, uh, you know, I would sit there and I would confess my sins of God, which is good, is to confess things that are on your heart or your mind that you feel like you want to confess the Lord. But what happens is, is if you keep confessing them all the time, are you trusting in his forgiveness for you? Okay. So, you know, you hurt somebody, you want to make amends with that person. You go off and do something dumb, you want to make amends, you want to make, you want to talk to the Lord about it, you want to confess it, get off, get it off your chest. That's a good thing, okay? But one thing you don't want to do is get in the habit of overly confessing or just being sin focused all the time. Okay. Every little thing, all stuff. You want to uh be aware, you know, of when you grieve the spirit, like you really grieve the spirit, or you're just walking in the light and you make a mistake, you just keep moving on. Okay, because one is like self-righteous and you're sin focused all the time, you're law-based, all stuff. The other is grace-focused in a relationship with the Lord. Okay. And so you really screw up. Okay, yeah, confess that to the Lord, talk to him about it, and then let it go. First John says, I write these things to you so you do not sin. But if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. Okay. So Jesus is our advocate. If we stumble, we fall, we sin, we do something dumb. Okay. But you don't want to focus on your flesh. You want to focus on Christ in you, on his grace for you, and that he's always with you. You're not going to lose your, you know, you're not losing your salvation because you made a mistake. You want to keep moving on. You want to have that relationship with the Holy Ghost. You want to pray, you want to surrender, okay? And allow God to transform you and learn from your mistakes and move on. Okay. So you don't repeat them. The grace of God teaches us to renounce ungodly behaviors. That's what it's teaching you, okay? And so, uh, I forgot what I was talking about. So basically, you have uh you're that part of you that's traumatized, right? And that soul area, and it's a fact that you have these feelings and this stuff. That's okay, it's a fact. But if you have confessed to the Lord, you've talked to the Lord, you've done counseling, you've done all this stuff, there comes a point where you have to just sever it off and choose to not look back anymore. I'm not looking back when I was 10 years old. Because you can sit there and talk about the hurt you went through at 10 years old for the next 50,000 years. You really could. Eventually, you have to trust that God's uh only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, can heal you of that, right? And then what you do is you sever that off, you decide that you're changing your mind, okay? Amen. Hi, Lisa. Good to see you on Facebook. Thanks for your comment. Amen. That's a good point. Amen. And you sever that off, right? And then you repent, you change your mind. Then what's the enemy gonna do? He's gonna try to get you what? To start thinking about something 10 years ago to get you to want to talk about the trauma from last year or what somebody did to you last week. No, I've already talked, Lord, about that. It's under the blood. I'm trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ. I am trusting in my savior to cleanse my conscience, to cleanse my memories, to cleanse my heart, to cleanse my mind, whatever it is. And then I'm moving past it. I'm not remembering or bringing up my past sins. So I was praying and praying and praying and declaring, you know, not declaring, but uh confessing my sins to God. And one time, you know, I made some dumb choices, uh, which we all do, made some real dumb choices. I told the Lord, uh, you know, I talked to the Lord about it, talk to the Lord about it. A year later, talk to the Lord about it, talking to the Lord about it. You know, Lord, I'm so sorry about it. I remember I felt like he just he in my heart, it was like, uh, why are you talking about this? We've you've you've I mean, this is a long time ago. You've already talked to me about it. I don't remember your sins. Why, why are you talking to me about it? Okay, and it really, it really struck me. I was like, whoa, he's right. I'm living in condemnation for this stupid thing I did years ago. Okay, or whatever, right? So you're living in condemnation. So if you're confessing sins that you did six months ago, or a mistake you did 10 years ago, or whatever it is, and you still talk about all the time, are you trusting in forgiveness? That's my question. Are you really trusting in Jesus' forgiveness for you? Amen. So start to believe that you're forgiven, believe that you're saved forever, believe that Jesus Christ is real, that he lives in your body through the Holy Spirit, and that the word of God is true, that he is your deliverer, he is your healer. And if you want to receive something from the Lord, remember your mind and your emotions are being transformed. And so you can sit with him and you can talk with him and you can get wisdom. And a lot of times it's about resting in yourself, in your soul. And I talk about this a lot in the on in the ministry. I talk about resting in his promise. So, for example, you uh you you're desiring healing and you've done everything, okay? Do everything, pray, take communion, get prayer at church. Absolutely. Continue being uh, you know, do everything, be uh, you know, have endurance, fight the good fight of faith. But there comes a time where you have to trust, right? So pray, but pray from a place of trusting. Take communion, not in fear that you're gonna go to the hospital. Fear or uh trust that Jesus is true, that his blood does cleanse you from all unrighteousness, that he is your healer, and that you don't have to do things for him to uh accept you, to accept your prayer. You don't have to do a bunch of stuff because you're already accepted in the beloved. So believe that he hears your prayers, he knows you need healing, and then the enemy, what's the enemy gonna do? You're gonna pray, you're gonna read the word, you're gonna quote scripture, and then immediately he's gonna try to take it out of your heart. He's gonna try to attack your belief. Oh, you prayed last night, nothing came. You didn't get that supernatural miracle when your pastor prayed for you. You're never gonna be healed. Or you took communion for a week, and you know, you're not healed yet. And so what? Your mind and your emotions. You start getting impatient, you start questioning God. Oh, unbelief, right? You start getting these thoughts and these feelings that God's no good. And so, what I do, Lord, I will go through this as long as you want me to. You're my healer, you're my deliverer, you promised me this. All things work together for my good. I'm gonna rest in your in your truth that I'm healed. And the Holy Spirit in my in my body gives life to my mortal flesh. And I'm trusting in you, Lord. And then what happens? The enemy tries to attack that. Oh, well, you feel the pain. Oh well, you know what? Uh God's not trustworthy. Look, remember when you prayed for that? You know, you you wanted the mansion, you didn't get the mansion, whatever, right? Example. So he'll try to remind you of stuff, and you stay in trust, Lord. I trust you. I try all this pain, I don't like it, Lord. I had a pain for a really long time. The Lord healed me of it. Took three years. Three years of back pain. I went to all these doctors, I did all the stuff that you're supposed to do. I prayed and prayed and prayed. One day I woke up and it was gone. Three years. Why did I suffer three years? Why did the woman with the issue of blood suffer for what, 12 years? Why wasn't it one year? Why wasn't it 12 months and she met the Lord? Why is it 12 years? So, you know, you questioning how long something takes, that's not really what we're supposed to be doing. We're supposed to be trusting in the faithfulness of our savior and doing what we know what to do. And other than that, trusting in the faithfulness of our savior. Okay, so if you're dealing with something, trust in the faithfulness of your savior instead of allowing your mind, your programming, your soul, your emotions to pull you into unbelief and discouragement. And so today, repent, change your mind. You're gonna start believing the truth that God is for you and that no weapon formed against you shall ever prosper. And you start walking in the truth, and you'll see God's promises come to pass because you're walking in faith and not in unbelief in your emotions and in your flesh. I don't know. Hopefully, I helped somebody. Let's pray, and we're gonna pray that people really, uh, whoever watches this gets touched by the Holy Spirit because we love you. Uh, Lord, I um I thank you for helping people rest in the truth that they died with Christ and their life no longer belongs to them, but they are born again in the spirit and they are new creations in you, and that the Holy Spirit lives in their body and gives life to their mortal flesh. And Lord, I thank you for their souls being transformed by the word of truth. I thank you for the grace of God that teaches us to embrace uh right living, righteousness, and to renounce darkness and ungodly behaviors. Thank you, Lord, that we can choose to repent and choose to believe differently, choose in our emotions what we're gonna receive. And I thank you for giving those watching this some sort of revelation that they need today. I pray that their eyes and their minds would get some sort of revelation from your spirit. And I pray for those suffering with pain in their body, that their pain would leave their body right now in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. And Lord, that you would heal them like uh like you did the lepers. You know, you healed the lepers, Lord. I don't even know how that even would happen. I don't even know what that would even look like. A leper being healed. I used to say leopard, Lord. Remember that? But it's a leper, leprosy. Lord, thank you for healing the lepers. And Lord, if you can heal lepers, you can heal people's bodies of cancer, and you can heal people's bodies of arthritis and high blood pressure and heart disease and lung cancer, you can heal people uh of uh torment in their minds. You can remove bipolar and schizophrenia and anxiety, you can remove blood issues, Lord. If you heal the lepers, Lord, you can heal everyone watching this. I pray for healing and miracles to go forth and encouragement for the body of Christ. Thank you, Lord. Fill us with your spirit, fill us, Lord, to the brim. Fill our entire being with the Holy Spirit, every cell of our bodies, Lord. We pray that the Holy Spirit would take over. I pray that the Holy Spirit would take over my mind and my emotions. I pray that my eyes and my ears would be open to hearing and seeing what the Holy Spirit has for me. I pray, Lord, that the angels would minister to me and to those watching. And I thank you, Lord, for your glory. And I thank you, Lord, for the ministry, Lord, that you've given me, you've entrusted with me. And I and I pray that you would use it to bless the nations. I pray, Lord, that everybody watching this would feel your presence and your glory and that they would have so much joy knowing that they have eternal life and that they are truly saved forever. Perfect love, Lord, your mature, perfect, fully grown love drives out all fear. Thank you, Lord, that there is no fear in love. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name. I can pray all day, Lord. I love you, Lord. You're so wonderful. We glorify you, Lord. We glorify you. We thank you, Lord, that Lord, that you prosper us in everything we do. Thank you for giving us wisdom at work, with our businesses, with our ministries. Thank you for speaking to our hearts concerning our friends, our relatives, our families, uh people we work with, Lord. Thank you for giving us prophetic words for people out in the community. Thank you for filling us, Lord, uh, with your word of knowledge, your word of wisdom, Lord. Thank you for the gifts of the Spirit. I pray that those be released. I pray, Lord, that the joy of the Lord just overtakes us all and we just laugh and laugh and laugh. And just, we just, Lord, I almost knocked over the the the uh the camera. Praise God in Jesus' name. Little Timmy wants to say hi. You know, he's tired. Hi, little Timmy. You want to say hi, man? Little baby. No, you guys might uh oh I'm looking over here.
