Hello everyone. This is uh forgot the camera's over here now. It was over here, now it's over here. I don't know what's going on. Guys, this is Holy Ghost Television Spirit Stream number 65. Uh, my name is Nick Grimsman, and I'm your host of Holy Ghost Television. Uh, after Spirit Stream uh 100, I don't know. I'm just gonna go to 100. That's my next goal. Once I hit 100, I don't know what's next. Maybe start a different show. I don't really know. This is a good uh a good start, though. Don't you think? I think it's a great start. God is good, God is faithful. So let's start with prayer. Um, and then uh we'll get into whatever the Lord wants me to talk about today because I don't really know. I just uh I just jump on the stream and allow the Lord to speak through my heart. So, Lord, I just submit my my brain, my emotions, my entire being to your Lordship, to the Holy Spirit living inside of me. And I ask, Lord, that you would bless this uh broadcast Spirit Stream 65 with your presence, with your truth, with your peace, with your love, and that someone watching this would have hope in that their hope would rise in Christ, that their hope would uh just be filled, their heart would be filled with hope. Thank you, Lord, that your word is true. Thank you that your word is always true, and we can trust your word. Thank you, Lord, for bringing the right people to watch this uh so that they may be blessed. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank you, Lord, hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Just a relaxing broadcast today. We're gonna do a relaxing, uh, peaceful broadcast. That's what I feel like this is today. I want to talk to you about uh how much God loves you and how uh how uh it's all about his love for you and it's not about you. You know, you have to get off of yourself. If you really want to experience all God has for you in life, you really have to get off of yourself. You know, when I uh first started um off in my walk with Christ, I was uh put under a lot of um condemnation and I never felt good enough. Um, you know, because I was under the belief that because I repented of my sins that I was saved. And so what I had to do was I had to remain sinless, supposedly, in my brain, thinking I was sinless to be able to uh be right with God or to receive from God. And God had to show me through a lot of mistakes that I made and a lot of false doctrine I believed. He had to show me through all the pain and condemnation I went through that I was forgiven forever, and it had nothing to do with me and my behavior. I was saved because I believed, I truly believed in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that he sits at the right hand of the Father, uh, making intercession for me, and that he's always with me and he doesn't leave me, he never forsakes me. I had to learn this. It wasn't something I was taught. When I was coming up what 20 years ago, uh, there wasn't a lot of like, let's say, grace preaching. It was more of um self-righteousness, uh do's and don'ts, can't listen to this music, can't do that. So you start dividing everything black and white. And it sounds really good, but what happened with me anyway was I started uh I started uh just eating off the knowledge of good and evil. And when you eat off the knowledge of good and evil, uh your your uh your view is slanted, you become like a self-righteous person, and so you see things from what you feel is evil or good instead of God's word and seeing things through the lens of love and grace and mercy, compassion, like Christ sees us. Uh the woman at the issue of the well or the woman at the well. Remember, Jesus uh met the woman at the well, and she had uh, I think several husbands before, and then I don't have the uh I don't have it open around the story, but uh, but she he basically read her mail, right? And he knew that she had all these husbands before and that she was living with a man at the time, and he uh didn't condemn her, uh, but his words went into her heart, and she knew what she was convicted that he was the Messiah, that because of his words to her. And then what did she do? She was touched, and then she went and she told everybody in her community that the Messiah has come, you know. Uh, in reality, she was uh a sinner, she was someone that was uh living in adultery or sexual morality, all that stuff. But Christ extended her mercy and forgiveness and grace, and then what did that do for her? That lifted her heart into faith, and then she became like an evangelist in her community. He didn't throw a stone at her, beat her up, and then she went back, crying to everybody that she was gonna burn in hell for her sins. No, she was touched by God because of uh how Jesus talked to her, and then He then she went and evangelized and brought many people to see that Jesus was the Messiah. See, and then through that, she'll she'll she most likely had a heart transformation eventually, right? Hopefully. And then she lived a different life. So it's about the heart transformation of the individual. And I want you to remember that when you minister to people, that God is working on people's hearts. You can't force your uh loved one or your friend to repent. You can't force them. Uh, you can't force them to get saved. And a lot of times we want to, right? We want to bash them with the Bible. We want to uh give them a bunch of scriptures and declare things over them and and uh judge them and critique them. You have to remember people are inherently sinners because of how they grew up in this world, and so they are prone to do stupid choices. What we can do as ministers is warn people that their choices always lead to decay of life. Negative choices, what I mean is negative choices will always lead to decay of life. Hi, Lisa on Facebook. Thanks for the comment. You guys can comment. I can see your comments here uh in the computer next to me. So uh I'm getting some new things maybe for the ministry. I might get uh a microphone, might get some other stuff. Then she'll have a studio, all that stuff. Right now, I'm just doing these uh little streams here trying to help people. This is how we're starting Holy Ghost television, and then we'll move from there. Thank you for comments. Uh thank you for your support, guys. Okay, so thank you for sharing the broadcast. So, anyway, so uh so when you're dealing with people in your life uh that you know they're they're sinning or they're living in sin or they're living with their boyfriend or girlfriend, or they have these attractions to different things and all that stuff, it's because they that's their nature, they're in human flesh, and it's fallen because of Adam and Eve, right? Because of Adam uh sinning in the garden, okay? So we're born into this human nature that is prone to sinful behaviors, getting angry, committing adultery, lying, stealing. And people can uh you know seem good, right? You can you can meet somebody and oh, they're good people, but remember when Jesus was uh on the earth, he was talking to law-keeping Jews in Israel 2,000 something years ago, right? And he was uh the walking Torah. So he was walking uh in obedience, uh 100% sinless. And then at the same time, because he was the Torah, he was espounding on or expounding, I don't know the word, but he was uh telling the people under the law, the the Jewish people that he came for, right? Israel, he came for them, uh his own people, right? And he was explaining the depths of the law, that it wasn't just about not cheating on your wife, adultery. It was deeper, it was in the person's heart and their emotions and their soul. Adultery was deeper, so it cut to the heart of the individual. Jesus' words were cutting into the Pharisees, were cutting into people, and they were realizing that the whole point of it was so that they realize that they're hopeless without believing in him. That's the whole purpose of this, okay? The whole purpose of the law was to show that we need Christ, we need the Messiah. The whole prophets and the law were all to point us towards our need for grace in Jesus for us to surrender to the Messiah. So, what happens is we think that it's about us and our behavior and all these things, and we're basically walking under the law and not realizing it, because your self, when you try to uh please God by doing works and earning things from God by doing good or uh not doing good or whatever, right? Like you're you're basing everything on your behavior. What happens is you start becoming self-righteous and then you judge others. And so let's not be like that. Let's repent today, let's change our mind, let's go a different way, and let's surrender to Jesus of Nazareth, okay? Surrender to his love, his forgiveness, realize that you're hopeless without him. And so, in the same way, your loved ones and people you minister to, they're hopeless without Jesus. They're hopeless without having that uh that uh circumcised heart. And that only happens by the work of God. So you only have a circumcised heart because the Holy Spirit did it for you. You only have faith because it was faith was released to you to be able to get saved. You only confess Jesus as Lord and believe with your whole heart that God raised him from the dead because God gave you that ability to do it. And then your heart cried out, Jesus is Lord. See? And so the work is a work of God, it's not a work of man, and it's all by his grace and and him. And so when you have this perspective, you can minister to people a little better because you have more mercy for them. You can see the unbelief that your daughter or son or uncle or whoever has as the issue, instead of, oh, they they uh they're an alcoholic, so you just judge them for alcoholism, instead of realizing that they have unbelief. And so we can pray for them in our private time, Lord, please lift the veil off their heart, let them see the goodness of God, and then you work on yourself, you have peace about your family, you have peace about your loved ones, knowing that God knows you care about them and God's working on them. You have to remember before you were saved, God was working on you. There was probably somebody in your life going, gosh, this person's a mess. How are they ever gonna get saved? Or, you know, praying for you or whatever, preaching to you, and you're not listening, and then eventually the Holy Spirit, you know, those seeds were planted wherever it was in your life, and then pretty soon it blossomed into being born again. So just have a different perspective with people, people at your work, just plant seeds, water, uh, love on them, care about them. But as Christians, we don't want to um embrace people uh uh lifestyles, you know, uh encourage their their bad behaviors, right? So we really don't want to encourage bad behaviors of people. Uh, for example, uh I don't want to celebrate somebody's sin, right? I'll let them know I disagree because I, you know, I have uh standards of love and loving my neighbors myself, and and I don't believe what they're doing or practicing is is uh is a good um is a good thing for their life or the lives of others. That's perfectly fine. We don't want to uh just uh celebrate their sin, uh agree with it. We don't want to agree with it because it's not really who they are in God. We want them to become part of God's family. So we don't want we want to love them where they're at without judging, condemning them, but it's okay not to agree with it. Like we can agree that stealing from your neighbor is wrong, right? So if my neighbor's stealing from other neighbors, I'm not gonna celebrate that with them and he's having a party because he sold something he stole. Now I'm gonna go over there. Oh wow, you stole, oh wow, you made some money, right? We want to maybe rebuke them, reprove them nicely, right? In love and lead them into the truth. You know, you know, stealing hurts people, right? You really want to hurt your neighbor, and then you start teaching them the ways of God, which is love God, love your neighbor. And you can't do that without Christ in you. You can't you can't actually love your neighbors yourself unless Christ lives in your body. You can think you do. You can think you love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength in your flesh, but you actually don't. And the law will show you that you don't. You know, it it's uh it's uh pretty strict if you want to try to live under the law. And remember, if you try to live under the law, one sin, one mistake, you're done. You didn't fulfill the law, you're done. See? So Jesus fulfilled the law for us. And so with evangelism, with talking with people, you really want to share truth and love and warn them, right? You want to warn them in the proper time. If you know, if somebody's doing something that's hurting others, you want to warn them, you want to talk with them, right? Some people need fear, they need to understand that there is judgment coming. There is a judgment day coming. And those who have put their faith in Jesus of Nazareth and have had that heart transformation, right, who have been saved, they get to have everlasting life. And those that, so those that have heard the gospel, right, and responded to it, those who have rejected Christ, rejected God, rejected the good news, they go to everlasting condemnation, whatever that looks like. Lake of fire. Okay, who's not written in the Lamb's book of life gets tossed in the lake of fire. Who gets tossed in the lake of fire? That's up to God. Okay, I believe God deals with each individual on the earth his special way. And so in the end, he has a just judgment for the person's life. Okay. Praise God. And the great thing about being a Christian is that we don't have to fear judgment anymore because we have passed from death to life. And so when Christ appears, we will be like him in glory. We will see him as he is, and we will be like him. And so you don't have to be afraid of death. You don't have to be afraid of dying, you don't have to be afraid of disease, you don't have to be afraid of war, famine, poverty. Because Jesus conquered death, he abolished death, so it's completely gone for you as a believer. You don't have to worry about death. You don't have to worry about, oh, am I good enough to make it to heaven? You have to get that mindset out of you. That is a self-righteousness mindset. If you think, oh, I'm not good enough, I hope I make it to heaven, I hope I did enough good works, you're putting yourself under the law. And so a lot of people, they're in their mindset, they're like in the self-righteousness and they don't even know it and they're praying, they don't get nothing. You're like, Well, I don't understand why I don't get it because you're self-righteous, you're putting yourself out, Lord. But I give, Lord, but I pray, Lord, I didn't do this today, Lord. I didn't do that sin today, and you're putting it on yourself and said, Lord, you never sinned for me. Thank you. You are perfect. My righteousness is in you. You are my healer, you took the whipping for me, you wore the crown of thorns for my brain to be healed. You are my deliverer, you have set me free from sinful behaviors. You have broke the chains of sin. You have broke the chains of addiction. I don't break them. See? But when you think you have to break them, then you'll just be stuck. Trust me, you know why? I know this? Because I've been through it. I thought that I could free myself from sin. I was under doctrine that I thought I could free myself from sin. So what did I do? I did all I could to not sin. Oh, I'm just gonna fight lust. I'm gonna fight this lust of the eyes, I'm gonna fight it, I'm gonna fight it, I'm gonna fight it every day. I'm gonna fast, I'm gonna pray, I'm gonna just, I'm just gonna fight, I'm gonna fight. And I had a fighting, you know, if you listen to my my past uh sermons or my past CD things, I, you know, CDs and audios and stuff I've done. I'm a fighter. I can pray hard. I mean, I have prayed for like, you know, 24 hours straight in in the spirit. I've done all sorts of prayer meetings. I can pray hard. I can reach the throne, as they say. I could spend hours praying in tongues and warfare prayers or whatever, right? I can do all that. But I couldn't free myself with all that fire, you call it, right? All that passion, I couldn't free myself from lust of the eyes. I couldn't free myself from lust of the flesh. I couldn't do it. I need to be transformed. I needed to believe the truth that I was already free and that I could not be free unless Jesus freed me. I cannot be free in my own strength. So if you're struggling, or your daughter, your mother, whoever is struggling, preach the gospel, the good news that when we were without strength and we had no strength, Christ died for us. We had no strength, Christ died for us. And so just admit you have no strength in yourself. You're defeated by sin, you're defeated by this stuff. In your flesh, you're no good. You can't do it. And then surrender at the feet of Jesus and ask for help. Just surrender. Lord, I can't free myself from lust. I can't free myself from addictions. I can't do it. You're gonna have to do it for me. And sometimes it's not instant. Sometimes this stuff takes time, guys. You were programmed to be self-righteous by the world. Okay? You were programmed self-righteous to be like the world. Like you get saved, and then you get into a church, and a lot of people still preach self-righteousness and works-based stuff, and then you're you just get more you, you know, you feel like you're just like a Christian that's in bondage. I meet them all the time, a Christian in bondage, or they think they're in bondage, it's manifesting as bondage, but they're not really, they just believe wrong, they were taught wrong. So it's like you get like the devil can't stop you from getting saved, right? So you get saved. So what is what's the next thing? What does he do? Okay, well, I can't stop him from getting saved. So I'm gonna try to give him false doctrine. So I'm gonna throw them in a cult. So I went into a cult. I got deceived and went into a cult. And then the Lord had grace on me, mercy, and got me out of the cult. And then I had to peel myself off all this other religious stuff I learned. You know, focusing on all the wrong stuff, focusing on demons, focusing on spiritual warfare all the time, focusing on uh my my body, what I'm doing, feeling how much I'm praying, if I'm reading the Bible, did I sin today, focusing on myself instead of focusing on Christ in me, the hope of glory. Excuse me, Christ in me, the hope of glory. So if you're struggling emotionally, you struggle with some different things, you're struggling, recenter yourself. It's about Christ, what he did for you, and him living in your body, and you died and you were buried with him in baptism, and you're risen into newness of life. You have to get off of yourself. I'm telling you, it's that is the key to a lot of uh a lot of freedom when you finally just. Get off of yourself. And then you'll find that the emotions that you've been connecting with and these thought processes are all lies. They're just lying to you. And they're programs from self-righteousness from the world system and from religious system. Okay? It's a program to make you think you can earn salvation, that you can earn blessings, that you can earn all this stuff. It's a trick. You know how many people I know give all the time, pray all the time, fast all the time, do all the healthy foods, work out all the time, do the naturopaths, go to the doctor all the time, do everything they can in themselves, and they're still sick, they're still tired, they're still uh uh they still have self-hatred, they still deal with uh lust, they still deal with anger, they still deal with relationship problems, they pray and they don't receive a lot of things, they still have all these health issues. Do you know how many people contact the ministry like that? And I try to explain to them that it's all about just surrendering your whole soul to the Holy Ghost. And some people can't let go of control, like they have to control, and and I'm not condemning anyone, guys. If that's you, uh, you know, if if you're one of those people, you know, uh, I love you, I care about you, but I I want, I don't have all the answers for you, but I do know that inside you can surrender the control of your health, the control of uh that you want for your family, the control of your finances, all this control issues inside, you can surrender that little by little to the Lord Jesus Christ, and he will show you the way, he will show you the answers, he will show you the wisdom you need, he will give you the breakthrough. I know he will. I hear the worst, uh, the worst people don't realize. I was thinking about this the other night. People don't realize what ministers like somebody like me and you know, pastors they have to hear. Do you know that people only really contact me for prayer for bad situations? Like people don't contact me and they're like, hey, I'm doing really great. Uh bless you, brother. Here's a testimony. Very rarely, it's usually always my my cousin died tragically. My child is in the hospital. Can you pray for them? I hurt, you know, I hurt my my arm. Can you pray for me? Uh I'm dealing with cancer. Can you pray for me? I just had uh, you know, a car accident, can you pray for me? It's all negative all the time. And people don't realize that. You don't realize that that's all I hear all day long. All day. I get messages, texts, emails, pray for me, this. And so I how do I handle all that? If I was emotionally connected to it all, how could I handle hearing all that? How could I, when I was a chap at the children's hospital, how could I go into a room and see a child dying of leukemia and not go into my own depression or my own unbelief? How could I go in and see a child with cystic fibrosis in one of those tents, these plastic tents? And most of those kids, uh, I believe so, they only lived like 14, 15, 60, it's a horrible disease. And they have to have this thing on their chest to like uh uh shake the uh mucus or whatever off their lungs. It's horrible. There's so many horrible, evil diseases in the world system, okay? So, how could I, as a minister, go in and minister these people, go to Africa and see people, you know, with polio? Have you ever seen somebody with polio, a child with polio? You know, we have vaccines here in America, parts of Africa, they don't have access to vaccines. Polio is still around in some places. I saw kids pushing other kids in wooden wheelchairs. I saw children dying of typhoid fever in the Middle East, all sorts of wild stuff. So if I was connected emotionally, if I didn't learn this, I would easily go into depression and tiredness, getting emails daily from people. You know, oh, I'm dying of cancer. I they gave me four weeks to live. Can you pray for me? Like, how do you not go into, oh my gosh, the world is horrible? Oh my gosh, where is God? You realize that you died with Christ, and it's Christ that lives in you now. So I can do ministry, and I'm not emotionally connected to every prayer request I get. I'm not emotionally connected to the the kids I might have to minister to at the hospital or in crusades or whatever. I learned to literally just let go in my emotions. Let go and let God, they say. So I learned to be a joy and peace and kindness and gentleness. So I get a prayer request of somebody dying of cancer. I'll pray for them, I'll bless them, I'll, and I'll trust God with it. I see a child I have to pray for that has leukemia. I'll pray for them, I'll love them, care about them, love on their family, pray for them, and then I'll leave the hospital room and I won't think about it anymore. I won't have an emotion about it. When I'm there, I could cry with the people, I can have compassion on them, but then I've learned to just like separate myself from all the negative. And so, how do you how do you do this as yourself, right? So let's say you're not in a ministry like mine, let's say you're uh, you know, you're a housewife or you you work at the local car dealership or something, you can do the same thing there. You can learn to walk in love, peace and joy, kindness, gentleness, goodness, and self-control. Those are the fruit of the spirit. That's who you are. That's who you are. So when you're feeling rejected in pain and uh ungodly feelings and weird desires, that's not really who you are anymore. That's that old nature trying to tell you you're still alive. And this is what you'll get from this uh the Holy Ghost television. You're gonna get identity stuff, you're gonna get truth that's gonna help you break free from some of the lies that you've been believing. Because I really want to help you walk out what God has for you. I don't care if you give money, I don't care if you watch all the shows or the live streams or you share, comment, anything. I I I just want you to take something from this broadcast and be transformed a little more down the road, a little more. Because in uh at uh Jesus' uh judgment, when we go and we meet with Jesus and talk about our lives and how we uh you know did our ministries or our lives and how we glorified him or however he judges us, okay. I want him to say, Well done, good and faithful servant. And and I don't want to have bad motives about stuff because it's really easy to say, oh, you know, follow me, buy my stuff. Oh, I could, you know, I could do that. Uh give me money and you're gonna be rich, all that. So I could do all that, but I really want to just help people because I I see a great need for Christians to um to get unstuck from so much false teachings, and I'm not saying my teachings are perfect, but there's a lot of things that you've learned in Christianity and me too, that have really damaged me in the past and may have really damaged you. You know, it's hard to go through uh walk, a walk. I don't know anybody who hasn't been around a controlling person that is supposedly Christian, right? Very controlling church leader, a pastor, a counselor, something that was very controlling. And you had to go through that situation. And maybe you're going through it now and you're maneuvering through it. It's very hard, it's difficult. I had to learn that there, you know, there's a lot of control issues. People have a lot of control issues, good people that they seem really good, and then all of a sudden you find out wow, this person controls everybody, manipulates people behind the scenes. You know, maybe your boss is like that. How do you how do you maneuver? What am I even talking about, Lord? This is weird. Anyway, you know, how do you maneuver around all these people? How do you protect yourself and your family from people? You know, that this spirit, this uh controlling spirit, some people named it Jezebel or whatever, right? It's like a controlling spirit. How do you maneuver around it? You know, and what I found is that it's always uh it's always trying to get you in your emotions, it's always trying to get you to fear, it's always working in a fear. Fear gets you in your emotions, uh, gets you to flare up so you say something negative, get you in your flesh. So if you think of spiritual warfare, for example, I used to think spiritual warfare was the devil's attacking me out here, the voices and all the stuff I used to deal with. Oh, they're attacking me. In reality, spiritual warfare was right here in my mind and in my emotions, my soul, because your mind, your emotions are connected to your will, right? So if you start thinking bad stuff, you start feeling bad stuff, you'll do bad stuff, see? And when you think right and you feel right, you do right things. It's actually very basic, but we live in such a we live in such an information age that there's so much information out there. And if you think that the the devil isn't using information against you as well, you know, God's trying to get information in you, and then the devil's using it as well. And you have to remember the Bible says that the the uh the uh the devil's servants, the servants of the devil, right, they appear as ministers of righteousness. So somebody needs to hear that. So the the devil appears as an angel of light. Okay, the the devil appears as an angel of light, right? Okay, so you have you have to remember he appears as an angel of light, and his ministers appear as ministers of righteousness. Very tricky there, okay. So the devil appears as an angel of light, and the and his ministers appear as ministers of righteousness. So you gotta watch all that. So, how do you discern? You know, you're sitting here, how how do you discern? How do you discern? Well, in first John, he said that you have need of no man to teach you, you have the Holy Spirit, the anointing that you have been given will teach you all things, and he is the truth, okay? And so when you are listening to somebody, you're reading a book, and all you want to be close to the Holy Spirit, and you want to uh really rely on the word of God and on the Holy Spirit in you for discernment. For example, I used to think people with power, you'd see people with power, fall people falling over, you'd see prophetic words, you'd see deliverances. I used to think people like that were these great men and women of God. And some of them, not all of them, some of them are false. Okay. Some of them are false. And the way that I learned to discern that is the fruit of the individual's character, how they carry themselves, the people around them, how who they disciple. And you can start seeing, oh, these people are actually not of God, even though they appear that they have all this power and they can prophesy. So I meet people all the time that you know they contact me, what do you think of this person? I'm following this minister and this, because they all want a prophetic word, they all want the power of God, which is, hey, I understand, but you have the same power that Jesus Christ rose from the dead with, the Holy Ghost. You have that power. Okay, so you don't have to be chasing prophetic words. What's God say today? What does God say to you today? I love you. I'm with you. I know what you need before I even ask you, or before you even ask me. I take care of all your needs in Christ Jesus. You have eternal life. I have good plans for you. I am your healer. I can restore you. I'm renewing your youth like the eagles. You can call upon me in the day of trouble, I will answer you, and I will deliver you. You are my son, you are my daughter, you are beloved. I am your peace. I am your friend, I am your father. I care about you. You know, like, I mean, in reality, what kind of prophetic word do you need? You know? You have it all right there in the word. Prophetic words are great. I'm not trying to bash prophetic words, but I'm talking about people who are like, what's God saying? I need prophetic words, I need prophetic words, I need, I see them all the time. They chase, they chase. I used to be like that. And then some of the prophetic words didn't come to pass. I'm like, what's going on, Lord? I don't understand. Well, maybe it was from the flesh. Maybe the person was in the flesh, maybe they have a familiar spirit. So remember, if you get prophetic words, let every word be established by two or three witnesses. So in reality, when a prophet is speaking, there's supposed to be people judging the word, believe it or not. That's in Corinthians. So when you're giving prophetic words, there should be two or three people uh that give prophetic words, and then the rest judge. You're supposed to actually judge prophetic words in your congregation, in your church, in your home group. Not in like an evil way, like, oh, that person's false, but you know, you is that of the Lord? You know, let's talk about it. Interesting, huh? Because you can get led away by it. You know, there is a person, I'm not going to say the name or nothing, but I remember somebody that was uh supposedly a prophet, and uh, you know, they do these meetings everywhere. And I was uh, you know, really intrigued because everybody followed this person. Wow, this person's great. And then uh this individual became a cult leader, started getting all, you know, getting all the people together, and and pretty soon they started their own like uh church, I guess. And and he this person started um uh giving like all these prophecies of end time stuff, and then pretty soon they're all cult members, and he was a cult leader, start taking advantage of them all. But at first, I was like, oh, this guy's got a prophetic gift. So you gotta watch this stuff. Remember, the Holy Spirit lives in your body and he will teach you all things. So it's really about cultivating that friendship with God and learning who he is and learning his grace and his love. It's great that you watch, you know, broadcasts and live streams and stuff, but your life should be you and the Lord. You and the Lord and what he brings you. If he brings you this broadcast, glory to God. But one day maybe you're supposed to be doing a broadcast, or maybe you're supposed to be starting your church or your ministry, or maybe you're supposed to start that business and you and Jesus do something great together. And you know, a lot of times we get pumped into like, oh, you're gonna do something great. You're gonna, you know, you're gonna be a nation changer, you're gonna win a, you know, Australia to Jesus or whatever it is, right? You get these grandiose things, and they sound really good. But what does that feed? Some of this stuff feeds ego, right? Some of it it feeds that pride of life. You're gonna be a millionaire and you're gonna have a mansion by the water. That feeds the pride of life, that feeds that ego. You know, what happened to humility? You know, I found traveling, so I've been to like I think like 50 countries or something, okay? I and I was alone a lot of the times, and and I found, you know, I found that a simple life, a simple, not complicated life is great, it is is is really abundant. It's abundant life in you know, a part of abundant life. You know, I used to think like being Jeff Bezos and you know, owning Amazon with you know trillion dollars or whatever, you know, and having all these employees and oh, it would be so great to run organizations and CEO of this and do this and do that and have houses everywhere, rental condos and you know, different cars and all stuff. And you know, God had to peel that off of me. He had to peel that out of me. Peel it because what really matters is your time with the Lord, is having time for yourself with the Lord, with your family, those you care about, doing ministry, you know, enjoying your day, not complicating your day with eight different houses that you have to watch, with four mansions you have to make sure somebody's cleaning. You could really complicate your life. So if your life is complicated and you feel like you have no time, maybe sit with your best friend and ask the Lord if you need to downsize. You know, ask the Lord if maybe you just have too much stuff or too many activities, too much things you're pushing, you know, you're trying to get done because your ego, you know, you're trying to store up a million dollars in your 401k for when you're 80 years old, you know, and you're working every day for this 401k, you know. Maybe God wants you to relax a little bit and trust that he can take care of you when you're 80. You know, maybe he wants to show you his goodness, maybe he wants to do something supernatural in your life, but because you're so self, self-self work hard, self, self, self, self, self, it's blocking him from supernatural things. Like, for example, if I just kept working uh in uh the behavior health field, everybody's still there, hopefully. Uh, you know, if I just kept working in the behavior health field, um I had my 401k, I had my retirement, I had the health insurance, I had the paycheck every two weeks. And this might not be for you, this is just my personal thing, right? I there's nothing wrong with working hard and all stuff. I get that. I'm just trying to help you maybe peel off the ego part of a lot of it, right? Trying to control your own life and getting caught up with the world instead of focusing on Christ in you. That's what I'm talking about. So, but you know, I remember when I uh when I felt like the Lord told me I was to quit my job, okay? I I was just hanging out and I felt like the Lord said, You're gonna put in your two-week notice. And I remember this fear came over me like, what am I gonna do for a paycheck? You know, what how do I how do I go from making money every week or every two-week paycheck to like living off ministry or whatever he's gonna have me do, get a part-time job or whatever he wanted me to do. And so these fears hit me, right? Because anytime God asks you to do something, it's usually in your flesh you're gonna feel uncomfortable. You're gonna try to explain it away. And and one thing with me I've learned that he doesn't really tell me things uh too far in advance. Because what happens is that, you know, you know, he uh he wouldn't tell me I'm gonna move in a year. He'll he'll tell me short. Because if I'm thinking about it for a whole year, I'll get myself involved instead of allowing God to do miraculous things. Okay, there I have a whole nother story for that. But back to this story. So I would have never learned all this unless I took that step, that leap of faith to put in my two-week notice and to retire from uh working in the behavior health field, which I was successful in. And I wrote about in my book that you know, the last day I typed in the human resources uh report. I wanted to see how long I worked there. I didn't know. Seven years, seven months, and seven days. Can you believe that? Yeah, so I knew it was the Lord, like wow, this is wonderful. And I retired from behavior health, and then now I was in ministry full time, and I didn't have a lot of supporters. Thank you to those that supported me way back when. You some of you were still around, thank you so much. Because I didn't know what I was gonna do. And I went like a year, I remember uh I went like a a whole almost uh almost a not a year, no, no, a little about six, seven, eight months, I think. And I just was going broke, living on my credit card. I'm like, Lord, this is not working, and I went to go get a job. I was gonna go weigh table somewhere or something. And I went and I remember Lord saying, You're not supposed to work, you're doing ministry. But what happened was I was looking at my situation, and like anybody would in their natural mind, go get a job as you're supposed to do. Of course, it makes sense. And I said, Lord, I gotta get a job. I I have bills to pay. I don't want to, I don't wanna deal with this. I had, I wasn't like broke, broke, but I felt broke. Do you know what I mean? And so the ego, my ego at times, like, well, I'll just go out and do what I need to do. I'll go get a job, which you should get a job, right? But I felt in my heart as a personal thing that. supposed to do ministry full time but i was trying to get a job anyway i go uh i go get application and i'm filling it out and i remember lord you know i just felt in my heart i'm not supposed to do this but i i needed i was operating fear and natural nothing was working out and then sid roff called and asked me to come on a show and then after that my ministry started uh going well again and so it's like i i wouldn't have ever experienced trust trusting god excuse me trusting god in the way that i have if i didn't take that step when i felt like he told me to quit my job and not know what's coming like he didn't say you're gonna quit your job and then you're gonna go and sit Roth he could have told me that you're gonna quit your job and then I'm gonna provide for you that's what he was basically telling me but I wanted to know the details so a lot of times you get these you're trying to figure out the details of how God's gonna do something so oh you feel like God told you you know you're gonna move here and you're trying to figure out what am I do for a job how am I gonna afford my home how am I gonna do this how am I gonna do that instead of Lord if this is really you're gonna give me some confirmation two or three witnesses it's gonna sit in my heart I'm gonna pray about it and then when it's time I'm gonna do it Lord with you and the cool thing is is that the Lord doesn't let you fail and if you do fail in a situation you learn from it. So it's not really a failure. And so don't be afraid uh you know when you really know it's the Lord and you have confirmation in your heart two or three right two or three confirmations let every word be satisfied two or three confirmations. So you don't just oh I heard God tell me to buy an RV and go live by the river okay you two or three confirmations. Okay you don't just go do something like that. Okay anyway so but I didn't I would have never got to the place I'm at now unless I made that choice to agree with the Lord He's gonna take care of me I'm gonna quit my job because it was a huge I never lived like this before and that was you know how many years ago that was that was over 13 years ago and I've always had food I've always had shelter I've always had clothing have I drove a Lamborghini no have I bought a Learjet no do do I have a house? No I live in an apartment right now do I have uh you know fancy clothes and expensive stuff no but one thing I do have is I know I can trust God I have a relationship with my heavenly father that I know that if the whole world's economy completely crashes and oil prices are millions of dollars a barrel the dollar's worth nothing there's famine there's disease all this stuff I know that I can trust the Lord to take care of me and my family you know and it's because of the process of stripping away that ego the self and some of you just get stuck there because you want control of your life you want the control of your family control of your job you want to control where you live what kind of house you live in the comfort level you want you know I lived in a backpack with the Lord for over like like eight months or something I literally had a backpack and a carry-on bag and I lived out of that I just lived out of it and I was happy living in Airbnb's little hotels here and there traveling that was fun I was alone with the Lord I got to do that because that step I took way back where I decided okay Lord I'm gonna do it it was hard these steps are hard but there could be a step in your life that God wants you to take that it's really hard for you in the natural you're like oh this is really hard and you might be dealing with fear about the future but Jesus said don't worry about the tomorrow don't worry about the future don't worry about tomorrow today worry about today all you can control is today right you can do things today you can't do stuff tomorrow right today so worry about today what do you got today do you have food do you have clothing okay Paul said what in these be content so instead of trying to figure out where you're gonna live next year or where you're gonna move or what your ministry is or how you make your car payment three months from now what job you're gonna have six months from now worry about today do you have food and clothing be content because you have eternal life that's what the gospel's about you having eternal life forever that's the good news when you get your mind and your emotions off the world system off the realm of the flesh then you just become simple you become simple and realize it's all about Jesus Christ of Nazareth the King of kings the Lord of lords and Father I pray for everybody watching this that the power of the Holy Spirit of God would move in their lives and that they would have a supernatural breakthrough and that healing would just pour forth in their bodies and in their minds and that transformation would take place that they would learn the word of God how to divide the word of God how to walk in righteousness in Christ's righteousness that they would learn to forgive easily through their forgiveness that they have received in Christ I pray Lord for healing of their bones their joints their their eyes their ears I pray for organs to be healed hearts and livers I pray for blood to be healed. I thank you Lord that I lift up the name of Jesus and when I lift up the name of Jesus miracles take place and I pray for miracles and healings and deliverances Lord I pray that people that can be delivered that need deliverance from addictions or demonic spirits that these things would start lifting out in the name of Jesus Christ. Father I pray that you would send your angels to minister I pray for people's finances Lord that that you would cancel debt that they would no longer have any debt that you'd cancel all their debts that you would help them financially that you would show them the to uh uh to be uh wise with their finances Lord and to not look towards a world but to look towards a kingdom for everything thank you Lord that your kingdom reigns on earth as it is in heaven I thank you Lord for filling them with your spirit touching them helping them being with them we pray for their family members that they would feel the love of God I Lord I ask that every one of their family members everybody watching this I pray for your family members Lord I ask that you would touch their family members and that you would do it in such a way that it would be supernatural and that their family members would change Lord just that they would start changing even just slowly Lord that just be wonderful to see change in their families.
