Let someone be drawn to the broadcast that really uh receives hope. Because when they grab a hold of hope, they can have faith and they can believe for great things. Lord, thank you for healing us, delivering us, saving us over 2,000 years ago at the cross. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your blood. Thank you for the crown of thorns. Thank you for the whipping you took for us. Thank you that your beard was ripped out, you were beaten, you were broken, you were bruised, you were stripped naked, you were hung on a cross, you were nailed to the cross. Thank you, Lord, for all the sweat and blood and tears for us. We thank you, Lord, that we were chosen to be holy in you, to be blameless before you in love. Thank you for filling us with the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for the joy of the Lord is our strength. I thank you, Lord, that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Partake of the new heaven and earth. We get to partake of the new heaven and earth, the kingdom of God. We get to resurrect from the dead and have new bodies, immortal bodies. Thank you, Lord, that you abolish death. Thank you that you conquered death in the grave, sin. You conquered everything, Lord. We glorify Jesus. We glorify Jesus. Let your presence be known here, Lord, and fell by your people. Amen. All right. Thanks for joining. Hey, hi Martine. Hi, Amber. Good to see you guys. Facebook, YouTube. Sounds good. Hey, uh, you like the new mic? Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Just got this. Hopefully, it uh helps with uh the audio and it drowns out some of the uh noise in the background. Sometimes my uh I'm I'm broadcasting from my little apartment here in Phoenix, Arizona, currently. And uh, you know, I was about to push uh live and then uh my neighbor's uh fire alarm just started going off. I'm like, what is that? So I go outside and I go upstairs. I'm like, you okay up here? And I guess he's okay, he's fine. I don't know if he was burning something or whatever, but his door was open, he was fine. So I don't know. But it was right when I start was gonna start the broadcast. It's very interesting. So we don't want to. Martine says it sounds crystal clear, wonderful. Yeah, this is a nice mic, very nice mic. Thank you. So uh anyway, it's just really funny how things uh happen, and you know, you could sit there and blame the devil or whatever, but you know what? All things work together for good for those who love God and who are called according to his purposes. So I'm uh I'm uh just rejoicing. Maybe I wasn't supposed to start it then. So for some reason the fire alarm went off. There's no fire, so maybe he was cooking something or whatever. It's all good, guys. Uh, today I'm gonna talk about the joy of the Lord because it is our strength. When I first started the broadcast, I felt the joy of the Lord, and I'm just gonna talk about the joy of the Lord. So uh I uh counsel a lot of people, talk to a lot of people, you know, pastoral counseling type things. I worked in the mental health field, I've done all sorts of ministry all over the world. And one thing I notice is that people they lack joy through the trials. You know, you go through a trial, you go through tribulation, you go through all these things, and the devil's trying to steal your joy, you know. Think about it. I'm gonna look up a scripture real quick. I'll I'll look it up on my phone real quick while I'm sitting here, and then we'll go to it. Um I'm gonna go here real quick. Sorry, guys. Okay, and then um sorry guys, just give me one second. All right, let's go to uh okay, let's go to Philippians chapter four real quick. I knew it was uh in the New Testament. Also, Nehemiah talks about the joy of the Lord is our strength, but let's go to Philippians four. Uh four uh four. Let's just start in chapter four. Uh, and let me see here. How do I share this? Sorry, guys. I'm blanking out here. Okay. All right. So we're gonna start in Philippians chapter four. We're gonna talk about the joy of the Lord today. Joy Lord is your strength. So say that with me. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Type in the comments. The joy of the Lord is your strength, it's our strength. We need the joy of the Lord, and a lot of people are looking for the joy of the Lord out here. So you're looking for the joy of the Lord when you uh pray, when you're going to church, where you're asking God for the joy of the Lord. But you have to realize the joy of the Lord lives inside your body. Okay. The joy of the Lord lives inside your body. So you're depressed, right? You're you're um feeling down, you're feeling sad, you're feeling these big feelings and emotions that are opposite of joy. So we have a choice to believe the truth that joy is inside of us and joy lives there inside of our heart at all times, or that we're just depressed people that are never gonna get anywhere, that we're always gonna feel lonely, we're always gonna feel discouraged, all those things. Okay. You have to choose what you're gonna believe. You're gonna choose to believe the truth, okay? You're gonna repent, you're gonna change your mind, okay? You're gonna change your mind and start believing that you have joy even in your trials and tribulations and in your torment. You still have joy. It lives in your body. Okay, so let's start off. Uh um, Philippians uh four, chapter four. So he's writing. Um, I believe he was writing from prison. Okay. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, this is a new international version. Uh, I can read from all sorts. I got all sorts of them here. I like to read from different translations, okay? And to study the Greek and the Hebrew meaning so that you don't get deceived. Okay. So you can read one uh translation that was done, then you can read another translation, then you can read another translation, then you can read the original, and then you can kind of put it together and see the flavor uh and the meanings of the words and how they got to the translations. It's kind of neat. So I encourage you if you want to learn more about the Bible, dig into Bible Hub, right? Dig into Bible Hub. It has all, if you can see the screen, if you're not listening, you're watching, uh, has all different types of translations here. And so we have the NLT, uh, ESV, Berean Standard, the Literal King James Bible, New King James, New American Standard, NSAB, all these different types, uh, amplified, all this stuff. So you can see uh kind of how the translators translated different words. And then if you want to go deeper, you can go into the Greek meanings of the words because the uh the transcripts that we have uh from old are from the ancient Greek, right? Okay, uh in the New Testament. Okay, so anyway, therefore my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crowns. So he's talking to his churches, and remember, Paul didn't have a megachurch. Uh he didn't have a megachurch, they met in homes. Very interesting study. If you want to look at uh, you know, the ancient Rome uh in Rome, they had homes that could hold, you know, 20 people, 50 people, and they would do meetings in homes. Everything was a house church back then when Paul was around. There wasn't some building that everybody joined together called uh Church of Ephesus, and there was uh 10,000 people there. They're different house churches. Okay, so you kind of got to remember this is uh it's different than nowadays. Nowadays we've got these mega churches with 5,000, 10,000 people in them. That's not uh in the original, you know, back in the day. That's not what it was. There's nothing wrong about lots of people joining together. I'm just saying Paul was he knew, he personally knew these people he was ministering to. Okay, he called them my joy and my crown. That is how you must stand firm in the Lord, my beloved. Uh, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. Uh, NLT. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you, dear friends. It's not a megachurch pastor, that's somebody that actually knows these people. For you are my joy and my crown, and the crown I receive for my work. So Paul knew that the people he ministered to is his joy and his crown. So when Jesus appears, God's going to give him rewards according to how he built on the temple of God. So uh everybody's a, you know, uh a temple of God. So how you build in your ministry is the fruit that you'll receive, uh, you know, the rewards that you'll receive. So joy, uh the joy and the uh crown that you get, crown of life, or different crowns or jewels or whatever you receive from the Lord at the judgment seat of Christ. And so these people are as joy and as crowns. So in the same way I minister to you, talk with you, I want to do the best I can with a good heart to build gold and diamonds and precious stones on God's temple and not hay and stubble. So a lot of ministers, uh, some ministers, not all, you know, not a lot, but they build uh hay and stubble and wood, and it gets burned away, and they don't they might not receive rewards for some of their ministry. So make sure that when you share the gospel and you build on God's temple, his people, you're building gold and gems and diamonds. Okay. You're trying to get them to grow up into the image of Christ, to transform, not just uh feel better, right? Not just uh, you know, pat them on the on the on the the fanny and and give them uh you know a little um a little bit of uh milk. You want to get them into the meat so that they can grow. All right, so anyway, let's move on. Uh Philippians four, four, four chapter, chapter four, verse two. I plea uh now I appeal to I can't even pronounce this, eudia. I don't even know what that, I don't even know how to pronounce it, Lord, and Sitish. I these are people in the church, please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. So these people had some sort of disagreement, and Paul's literally writing to the church in Philippians. So these are house churches, could be four house churches, could be a hundred. I don't really know how many there were, right? But there wasn't uh tens of thousands of people in the uh in the uh Philippians. I was gonna say in the Philippines, but it's Philippians, okay? And so sorry, this this broadcast might be a little weird, okay? Uh sorry. Um, okay. Uh so he's asking these people to settle their disagreement. Okay. And then Philippians 4, 3. Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life. So your name is in the book of life. Uh, anything that's telling you that your name is not written in the book of life, uh, you believe in Jesus Christ. Uh, if you believe in Jesus Christ, you've confessed him as your Lord and Savior. You believe that he died on the cross, he rose from the dead, you believe in the blood of Jesus, you have the circumcised heart, your heart has been transformed. You are now written in the Lamb's book of life forever, for eternity. Amen. All right. Uh yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women who have labored side by side with me. So he had women that labored with him, that helped him in ministry, in the gospel, together with Clement. So Clement was uh uh, I think it's a man and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the book of life. So he's encouraging them. So there's a disagreement, and he says, you know, uh, you know, fix this disagreement. And then he talks about how everybody's name's written in the book of life. Isn't that neat? It's so exciting, guys. Think about this. Your name is written down in the book of life. When Jesus appears and he and you go to judgment day, everybody's a judgment day or however this looks, the books are opened. Our names are written in the book of life. So you're gonna stand before God, the judge of all the earth and heaven. You're gonna stand there and he's gonna open his book of life, and your name is gonna. Thank you, Lord. Your name is written in the book of life. You open, he's gonna open the angels or whoever opens the book of life, your name is gonna be there. So if you're taking notes, write down that your name is written in the book of life. So when you go into bad situations, your family's going through stuff, you're going through discouragement, you lost somebody, you're going through addiction, whatever it is. You believe in Jesus Christ, your name is written in the book of life, and your name is written in the book of life before the foundation of the world. So, how does that work? I don't know. God is God. I'm just Nick. Okay. So your name was written there before the foundation of the world. So when he opens the book, your name is gonna be right there. It's gonna say Nick Grimsman or Nicholas Grimsman or however, right? I wonder if it's your full name, like with your lat your middle name and everything. You know what I mean? You ever wonder? It's gonna be just like first and last, or you know, is it your maiden name, your married name? Like, how does that all work? I don't know, but it's kind of funny to think about, right? So there's you know what I mean? So you're gonna open up, he's gonna open up the book, and your name is written in the book of life. You gotta get this. So when you realize your name is written in the book of life, who cares what life uh this life sends your way? These little trials you go through, the the rejection, uh, the issues you go through, it gets smaller when you realize your name's written in the book of life before the foundation of the world. And so when things hit your hit your life, when you go through negative uh situations, when you go through all these things and you got to go to the doctor and you got to do this, and this person did this to you, and blah, blah, blah. And there's disagreements, your name's written in the book of life. See, it's easier to overcome when you believe correctly. At our website, uh, the Father's Son's website, we have a ton of free uh videos and teachings to help you believe correctly. When you start believing right, then your life starts changing for the better. You can start going through things, okay? All right, so and you can go through things with good attitudes. So look, whose names are in the book of life, Philippians 4, 4. And then rejoice in the Lord always. I say again, rejoice. So, Apostle Paul, I believe, is in prison at the time. Let me see. I think it is. Let me look that up, just make sure I'm correct here. I don't want to be a false teacher. Uh let's see here. Sorry. Um uh uh was Paul in prison, right? Uh when he wrote Philippians. Uh yes, okay. So yeah, historically, they they find that the Philippians epistle was written when Paul was in prison. Okay. Paul was in prison, a literal dungeon. Okay. Like prison, it's not like a Norwegian. You ever seen those videos like Norwegian prisons or prisons in different countries? And some of them are really bad, like in the Middle East. There's really bad prisons in like Dubai. Then they show you like the Norwegian, I don't know, I watch documentary stuff, Norwegian prisons. They're like all like uh, you know, I think it's Norwegian, Norwegian, Norwegian, Norway. Uh, you know, they have prisons that are more like, you know, hotels, things like that. This isn't a hotel prison, guys. This is a prison 2,000 years ago. Can you imagine what a prison looks like 2,000 years ago? I should do like an AI video of what a prison probably looked like back then. I mean, have you ever been to like I like history and stuff? You you should look in this stuff. Like, they have all sorts of weird ways that they uh imprisoned people, they used to throw them in holes and just leave them there. They never fed them or anything. There's weird ways that they tortured and hurt people and killed people back then. And um uh like this isn't a prison. Like you're thinking like he was in like the county jail down here in Phoenix or something. No, we're talking about he's like in like some dungeon or something, like with chains on him, probably in some gross cell with no light, with the water coming in when it rains, with rats, with disease, nowhere to use the restroom, doesn't get a shower, doesn't shave, no clothes, you know, you wear the same clothes over. This is torment and torture, guys. Okay. For like somebody nowadays to go to a prison 2,000 years ago where Paul is and then write rejoice in the Lord Always. I say again, rejoice. How is that even possible? Like, how is it even possible he could write this stuff? You know, you're sitting there and you're like, Oh, I didn't get to, you know, oh, I I I missed out because I, you know, I didn't get to have, or the local McDonald's was closed. I had to go to Burger King instead, and you're complaining. Here's Apostle Paul sitting in a dungeon writing uh an epistle to people, telling them to drop the disagreements and that their names are written in the book of life and to rejoice. And we're complaining about little things, you complain about these little tiny things. You have to get a different perspective, guys. Get a different perspective. So if you're in that mode where you go into discouragement and that personality, if you think about these things, they're like personalities. So if you go into, if you go into discouragement a lot, that's like if you if you look at it as like what helps me anyway, is like a personality of discouragement that wants you to latch onto and live in. Or anger, it's like a personality. The person gets into a personality of anger or rejection, a personality of rejection. See, these strongholds are built in your soul through the way you thought, you think, through however, right? Uh, trauma, however, this thing's built in there, but it's built on lies. If you can trace it all the way back to lies, okay. And so the word of God helps you rejoice always, knowing you're in the Lamb's book of life. And you know, I didn't realize this stuff, guys. I struggled a long time. I was doing deliverance on myself. I was trying to cast out these evil spirits, tormenting me with discouragement all the time. I go to church and let's The pastor would talk about how discouragement is, you know, uh, it was a giant or you know, one of the enemies or something in the Old Testament, and they try to link it to how they would uh the back of the tribe, I heard it one time, the back of the children of Israel, uh, that's where they would uh be the most discouraged or something because they could see the enemies or so. I don't know, you know, people have different teachings and things like that. But if you think of discouragement as a personality that latches onto you through your soul, through your thinking, through your emotions, then you can deal with it and you can resist the devil and he will flee from you. So you submit to God. So you're submitting to God, you're believing the truth, right? You're believing the truth, you're submitting to God, you're submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, you're submitting to his ways, loving your neighbors yourself, having faith in Jesus, and then you resist those personalities, you resist the discouragement. So when it comes upon you, they're gonna come upon you guys, like it just the way it works. You're gonna go through things in life, you're gonna be sitting there, all of a sudden the thoughts are gonna come in, you might receive it, and then the negativity is gonna come in. But if you can, if you can pinpoint when that thing starts coming in and you can resist and go, wait a second, that's that personality type thing. You know, I say personality, try to help you, you know. Uh it's like a spiritual attack, and then it gets your personality to go into uh discouragement. And then pretty soon you're wearing discouragement. And the Bible says for us to wear Christ, right? So you're supposed to wear Christ. You're not supposed to wear discouragement, okay, on your soul or your personality. You're supposed to wear love, right? You're supposed to wear faith and all this stuff. Remember, it's all designed to get you in where it's designed to get you into unbelief. So if you're there right now, just renounce that personality, renounce that discouragement feeling. Lord, in the name of Jesus, I renounce the discouragement feeling that I sometimes latch on to. And I break its power off of me, and I choose to resist it and disagree with it. I am not discouraged because the Bible commands me, it tells me to rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, rejoice. Philippians 4, 4. So Apostle Paul is commanding you to rejoice in the Lord through the Holy Spirit. He's telling you, rejoice in the Lord always. Are you rejoicing in the Lord always when you go to the doctor? Are you rejoicing in the Lord? Are you rejoicing in the Lord when you have to go to work and you maybe don't like your job? Are you rejoicing in the Lord when you get a bad report from your friend or your family member, or you hear something bad in the news? Are you rejoicing in the Lord? You should always be rejoicing in the Lord's because the Bible says to New King James Version, rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say rejoice. But before that, remember, he says, your names are written in the Lamb's book of life. See, so remember when I was talking about opening the Lamb's book of life up and your name's gonna be there. That's a cause of rejoice, right? Of rejoicing. Your name is gonna be written in the Lamb's book of life. So the depression you deal with, the bipolar you deal with, the schizophrenia you're dealing with, whatever it is, whatever you diagnose this thing that they're trying to tell you, rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I say rejoice because your name is written in the Lamb's book of life forever. Okay. Forever. You're saved forever. It's if saved, always saved, right? You know, they say once saved, always saves saved. I say if saved, always saved. Okay. So rejoice that you are secure in Christ and that you have the joy of the Lord living in your body, and you, your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. And everything in your personality, your mind, your emotions, and your soul area that is trying to get you out of believing correctly, believing that you have joy, believing that you're saved, all those lies in there need to be renounced and disagreed with and resisted, and the devil will flee from you. That's the promise of God. Submit to him, submit to God and resist the devil, and he will flee from you. So do I get discouraged anymore? Very rarely. Why? Because I learned that it's not part of who I am in Christ, and I chose with my own free will, I chose to resist it. So, I mean, there's people that uh call the 188 know him number. You know, we have the 188 know him number. There are people that call and they are uh uh they are they are discouraged. Okay. So they're they're discouraged, and they will call and they will repeat discouraging things. This is what's going on in my life, my family's this, I'm no good. And I try to counsel or help them a little bit, and you know, with the little time I have on the phone, hey, um, this is uh, you know, you need to disagree with first just disagree with saying negative things, right? So that's probably the first step in somebody's life, right? You want to shut your mouth, okay? You know, you you say all this stuff. I'm broke, I'm depressed, nobody loves me, I feel lonely. You just start saying these things and start, what do you start doing? You start agreeing with what? The personality of lies. So you could have this thing that you're dealing with in your personality from trauma, rejection, self-hatred, self-harm. And that thing is in there and it pulls on you, but it's through lies it does it. So you go a couple weeks, you're feeling good, then all of a sudden somebody says something to you at work. And then you're like, Oh, yeah, it's true. And then right when you receive the negativity in your mind, it goes right into your emotions, and then pretty soon you you want to jump off a bridge or something. Okay. Praise God. Hey, Stacy over on YouTube. Thanks for joining joining uh join joining. Okay, so you so these things will try to pull you into this extreme behavior through your thought process, but it could be linked to trauma, it could be linked to a belief since you had since you were 10 years old. And so the important thing is for you to understand the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, and it's able to divide your between your soul and your spirit, and discern it discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. So the word of God can discern what's true and what's not in your soul. Think about it, it like divides it. So you could see your spirit, the emotions from your spirit, the joy of the Lord is your strength. The fruit of the spirit is love and joy and peace. And your soul telling you you're depressed, you're discouraged, you hate yourself, you're rejected, you have a bunch of lust, you're an evil person, just just uh hurt yourself, whatever it is. Your soul is telling you this stuff. So your spirit, you got the Holy Ghost, right? You're born again, you got the Holy Ghost. Your spirit, man, wants to live through you. Okay. It wants to live through you. So Christ in you is being formed. Another place Paul talks about how he he was uh he's uh he's uh interceding for them that Christ would be formed in them. I think it's Paul or Peter, right? Praise God. And so when he's interceding, that you will grow up, you will grow up into the image of Christ, that you Christ will be birthed in you. And so you're on this journey. You're the Christianity isn't about you getting your Ferrari and your white picket fence and your three kids and your nice house and all stuff. That's not what Christianity is about. Christianity is about a new creation that's never been on this earth before, that the principalities and powers they've never seen it before, before Christ resurrected. This we're a new creation. We have God living inside of our bodies. We have Jesus Christ Himself through the Spirit of God living inside your body, wanting to live his life through you. And how do we stunt this? Well, false doctrines, false doctrines, they stunt us. They they try to get us into what? Into self-righteousness. I talk about this all the time. I don't even know where I'm going right now, guys, with this. I'm just yapping. Uh, I asked the Lord before we started that he would just take over my body and speak through me. So hopefully, uh, hopefully he's doing that. And I don't really know what I'm talking about. So I'm just gonna keep talking. Okay, so you have this, you, you have this, uh, you have uh you have this uh the false doctrines that try to bring you into self-righteousness and the self, when you get on yourself, then you start seeing everything in yourself, all your flaws, all your all the negative things about you, all the you know, things you don't like about your looks or your weight or your financial status or your life. Uh, you start looking at, you know, how many failures you've done, uh, how many sins you did last week. You start focusing on yourself and then you start trying to perfect yourself in the flesh. And in Galatians, Paul talks about who bewitched you. Okay. He talks about who bewitched you, who who came in and bewitched you that you're trying to uh perfect yourself in the flesh. One thing I had to learn was that in myself, I'm no good. So I don't trust my flesh self, like my some this part of me that is being transformed, uh, the negativity that I could go into, uh ungodly behaviors from the past that I used to do, uh uh judgments that I've made, you know, that I can make if I go into my own thought process in my carnal mind, all these, I'm just trying to be transparent, but you know, you don't want to trust this part of you. You want to put your trust in Christ in you. When you start trusting yourself that you're strong enough, that you're good enough, that you can fulfill the law, that you can earn heaven, that you could be blessed because if you work really hard and you do all this stuff that all these religious people tell you to do, then you're gonna be blessed and healthy and all this stuff. Uh, and then you you run into a wall and you get into this wall when you become self-righteous. I've met so many people that struggle with health issues their whole life. I mean, I am telling you, I have prayed for so many people that are so health conscious, that do everything for their health, that are on all the uh holistic stuff, all the fasting things, all the eating healthy, all this stuff, okay. And there's nothing wrong with it, but when you're resting on something other than Christ in you, it can cause problems. Okay. And so if you're one of those people that have struggled a really long time, maybe you're dealing with self-righteousness or trying to fix the problem yourself instead of relying on Christ in you, the hope of glory and his finished work for you. And so, what does this look like? It doesn't mean you start eating bad and all that stuff. You can continue doing the things you need to do, right? Because eating healthy and taking medications that you need to take and vitamins and all that stuff. Hey, if you know, if that's part of your life, praise God, okay? And do what you need to do, but in what you're doing, really trust that God is working it all out for your good. And He is your wisdom and He is your provider. So you deal with things with finances. Maybe your finances make no sense. You give, you do all the religious tithing, you do all this stuff, and you're like, well, where's my finances? I don't understand. Get with the Lord and ask him for the wisdom. And a lot of times it has to do with control. A lot of this stuff has to do with control. Uh, money, sometimes money has a lot to do with control. So some people they they look at money as their security or their uh their comfort or they they have control of their life. If they have a certain amount of money or they're prospering, then they have control of their life. When they don't have money or they're living in debt or they're dealing with stuff, they don't have control. Or your health goes out, and you're like, I don't understand my health, Lord, and you're like, what's going on here? I do everything I'm supposed to do. I do the vitamins, I go jogging, I go to the gym five times a week. I'm a health nut. What's wrong with my health? Maybe it's control. Maybe you're trying to control your situation, you're trying to control your health, or it's a sense of control. So you can eat healthy, you can do all these things, but it's you controlling everything. See, and then everything's out of whack and you don't have any control, and then you freak out and you're, well, what's wrong with me? I don't understand, Lord. Maybe the Lord is dealing with your need to control. Maybe he wants to take over your body. Maybe he wants to take over your life because you died with him, you were buried with him in baptism, you were born again from the grave spiritually, amen. Christ now lives in you, so surrender those things. Surrender that control and talk to the Lord. Lord, what is it about the situation? Is it my need to control my own life? You know, you talk to people, they have all these dreams and goals. I remember when I was young in the Lord, I had all these dreams and goals. I was gonna do this, I was gonna do that. I told you guys a lot of this stuff, but I had all these dreams and goals. I was gonna do this, I was gonna do that. I had all this funny stuff. And I thought it was real. You know, 20 years ago, I was young, I was zealous, I was on fire for God. You know, the whole thing. I'm on fire for God. You know, people say that stuff. Okay, so I was on fire for God, I was doing all this stuff, and I was trying to attain all these things. I used to go pray in tongues for eight hours, pray in the spirit for eight hours straight. I praying tongues 10 hours straight. I'd sit in a room 10 hours praying the Holy Ghost. Okay, and I wasn't attaining anything that I thought I was believing for. And I got so frustrated and mad. I got mad at God. And after a long season of prayer, seeking the Lord, crying out to him, begging him for things, not receiving anything, getting upset. I felt like the Lord had me watch movies with him. Okay. I'm not trying to tell you go watch movies, but I had like a religious thing. I had a religious thing that everything was evil. So like I didn't look at anything because I came out out of a cult that told me I couldn't uh read the newspaper, I couldn't go on the computer, I couldn't watch TV, I couldn't watch movies, I couldn't watch anything. Okay. And so, but when I was a kid, I used to like watching movies. Uh, I thought it was fun, it was an innocent thing. I I liked watching like action movies and uh mystery movies, sci-fi movies, time travel movies. I like that stuff, but I thought I was giving everything to God, so I just cut everything out of my life, and then I judged everybody else for watching a movie or watching a television show or reading a newspaper because I was coming out of a religious cult. I really was in a cult, guys, a real cult. You can look it up online, the Tony Alamo cult. You can look it up. I wrote about it in my book. Okay. Anyway, so God had to show me that through this uh season of prayer really hard, trying to get things, and then watching movies and eating popcorn with them, which I thought was so weird and it was so hard for me because I was used to praying hard and doing all stuff, and then I'm like, I felt like I was supposed to just relax. And I grew, I grew with my relationship with the Lord when I just relaxed. I couldn't relax because I was trying to obtain everything with my own strength. And soon after that, uh, after that season, the Lord uh the Lord uh blessed me with a trip around the world to go uh minister. I think it was 2014, 15. Okay, so anyway, so then I went around the world. You can read about my book. I was live streaming Times Square, seeing miracles, went to uh India, I was in Europe, India, Japan, and Israel. I got to go, I got to blood uh I get to live stream the blood moons when the blood moon was there. I got to do all these things, and it was from you know, prayer is very important, right? Seeking the Lord is very important, but when you do it in your own strength for your own control and your wants, you'll hit a wall. And that's what I did. I hit a wall and I got frustrated and upset, and then Father God started fathering me. So some of us, most of us, we all need all of us really, we all need to know the peace and gentleness and compassion and kindness of God. We all need to know our father in heaven. Truly need to know him. So your situation, you could be hitting a wall, and it could be the Lord just saying, Hey, you need to just sit on my lap and get to know me as your friend and as your father. See that I'm compassionate, and I know you can pray hard, and I know that you want all these things in your life, but I'm gonna show you a better way. I'm gonna show you who I really am. And you know, there were times where God would father me and love on me where I don't I can't even share the experiences I've had, okay? I don't even share the experiences. Private experiences with God, things that He's told me, things that He's shown me, I don't tell people why because it's an intimate, close thing when you're close to the Father, when you're close to God. And I'm sure that some of you have had that where you've had experiences with God that you don't share with people. You just don't. But I'm telling you, if you truly seek the Lord and you believe in Jesus, then God is gonna come meet with you when you call on him with your heart. And you might be watching this and maybe you've hit the wall and you're like, I've done everything, I don't know what to do. Then maybe you just need to rest in his love for you. And resting is one of the hardest things I ever learned. Okay. Hey, Dylan, good to see you on YouTube. Thanks for joining. Right? So, this was one of the hardest things for me to learn was resting because I learned how to fight. You know, I used to do deliverance ministry a lot. I used to do deliverance ministry all the time. And I was a demon chaser. You know, I can cast out devils. Any any believer can cast out devils, but I really focused on it because that was just how I was brought up, you know, in uh in my walk with the Lord. So I learned a lot about deliverance. You know, one thing that really bugged me though was not everybody could fight like me. Like I had like a fight. Come out of there, devil. I could scream at the devil, I could fight in prayer, I can rebuke the devil, I could break the curses, and I had this fire, I had this fight in me, right? But I'd go pray for a 90-year-old lady at the hospital. And I try to get her to fight like me. You know, come on, lady, pray hard. And she's this little old sweet lady, 90-year-old lady or whatever in the hospital. And I would be yelling, come on out of there, devil. And she, you know, I'd try to get her to pray hard. And and I realized after a while, I was like, Lord, is this the only way devils come out of people? Is if they scream and yell at them and they fight like I do? Because not everybody's built like me, Lord. Not everybody is is like that, not everybody's personality is like that. Not everybody's a you know, a hard prayer warrior. Some people are more gentle and kind, or you know, gentle and kind, I'm kind, but you know what I mean. And so I I learned that uh that you don't have to scream at the devil, you don't have to all this stuff that truth is what sets somebody free. So when you get truth, you can be set free, okay? And God's presence comes to those with faith, right? So faith is believing God, right? Is trusting in God, is believing before you see, basically, right? Faith is a substance. Sorry, I'm getting all these texts. Faith is a substance of things hoped for yet unseen. So when you have faith in the unseen, you have faith in Jesus, you have faith in the Holy Spirit, then He can come to you and you could be free from anything. The Bible says, everyone who calls upon me, right? Everybody who calls in the name of the Lord shall be delivered. So if you need deliverance, you can you personally can call in the name of the Lord and to lead you into your deliverance. You might not need to scream at a devil. You might need to start believing, right? And resisting a thought process. You might need to forgive your spouse. You might need to just let something go. You might need to just get some truth around something. That stronghold is going to leave your body. I've, you know, I've been delivered from things when I'm sleeping. I've woke up and I was delivered from things. So you don't necessarily need to scream at devils to be free. You need a revelation of the truth and a touch of the Holy Ghost. So Lord, I pray that everybody watching us would have a touch of the Holy Ghost. And that, Lord, that deliverance would take place as they get a touch of the Holy Ghost. And I thank you that they submit to you and they resist and they disagree with the lies of the devil. And the devil will flee from them. And I thank you, Lord, that we can speak to these strongholds and they will leave. We can speak the lies and they will leave. We can speak our words. We can speak out of our mouth. We can command the enemy to leave our lives in Jesus' name. And I thank you, Lord, that you've given us all authority over the enemy and he's defeated. That Jesus defeated him completely at the cross. He's defeated. All the curses are broken because of Jesus Christ. I thank you, Lord. Thank you that every curse is broken because of Jesus Christ. Thank you that we're not cursed. And if there's any curse that's trying to land on us, it's not allowed to land on us. We don't have to be afraid of witches. Lord, I don't even know where this comes from. Why are people afraid of witches? My gosh. We got the Holy Ghost. We have the Holy Ghost. We have Jesus of Nazareth living in our bodies. Why are you afraid of witchcraft? My gosh, guys. Chill out. Okay. Have some joy. So anyway, uh, I don't know where I'm going with this, but you know, like I talk to people and they're they're always talking about demons and this and demons of that. And I just realized, you know, uh, they're all defeated, guys. Every devil is defeated by Jesus Christ. You didn't defeat them. Jesus Christ defeated him for you. Your job is to submit to God and resist the devil and to speak to your mountain, command it to go, command it to leave, to believe that you're healed by the wounds of Jesus, to believe that you're delivered from all principality and power, to believe that you're seated with Christ Jesus in the heavenly realms, to believe that your name is written in the Lamb's book of life, to believe that you have the joy of the Lord, which is your strength. So the joy of the Lord is your strength. So if you don't, if you don't have any joy, you're not operating in joy, then what strength do you have? Right? So what do you do? You surrender to the Lord. Lord, I don't feel joy. I'm honest. I just be honest with the Lord. So just be honest with God. Lord, I don't feel joy, but the Bible says I have joy. So I'm gonna believe the Bible until I start feeling joy. Thank you that you live in my body. You know, you deal with health issues. Sometimes you just have to, Lord, thank you that the Holy Spirit lives in my body and gives life to my mortal flesh. Thank you, Lord. That's what the Bible says. The Bible says the Holy Spirit lives inside a believer and gives life to their mortal flesh. Isn't that amazing? The Holy Spirit lives inside your body and gives life to your mortal flesh. I speak life into you. Amen. You have life living in your body. And so it's kind of like you have this flesh thing, right? This like body that you have to wear because you're you're on the earth, right? Which is in the fallen nature, right? Do you guys like uh where the microphone's at and everything? I think it looks good. Okay, so anyway, it's new. Oh my gosh. Okay, guys, I'm getting goofy. I'm gonna have to get off this uh uh stream here soon. Um because I just get goofy and I, you know, anyway. So think about it. You have uh you have like this body, okay, that it has sin. Okay, you sinned in your body, everybody has sinned, and we all have fallen short of the glory of God. So our body has to die. Okay, our body has to die um for us to get our new bodies or to be or we can be transformed. So eventually, basically, our old flesh has to be uh gone away, and we have to put on the new body, right? The resurrected body. Okay. So you're carrying around like a dead body in a way. That's why people of old age that get older and all that stuff, because they sinned in their body, Adam and Eve, and all that stuff. So it's like you're carrying around this thing. And so it wants to get diseases and it wants to, you know, it's capable of getting sick and all this stuff, right? Because it's it's a human body that's fallen. And then inside your spirit, where you actually uh live and who you are in Christ, you have life, and this life is sustaining this body, and it's giving life to this dead body in a way, okay? And the more you agree with the dead body, the more the dead body manifests more disease, uh, sin, sickness, all this stuff. Like, for example, like people get colds and coughs and all this stuff, okay. I don't really I haven't really got colds and all this stuff for a long time. I don't remember how long ago it was because I stopped believing that I'm in my flesh anymore. So, I mean, I'm not saying I don't deal with stuff once in a while or go to the doctor and things like that. I'm just saying, like, I I've really uh really started to believe that I'm in the Holy Ghost and He gives life to my flesh, and I don't have to be susceptible to allergies and colds and flus and COVID and all that stuff. I choose to believe I got the Holy Ghost. I choose to believe that I have health, I choose to believe that I have the light of God living in me that is stronger than this body that's connected to the world system, okay. That's not to say I won't go through things. People go through things physically, okay? Because of the the body, because we're carrying around dead like a like this fallen nature, okay. And then when we eventually pass away and we go into our resurrected bodies, then we don't deal with that anymore. Okay. But until we have Jesus return or we go to the dust and we resurrect, we got to deal with this flesh thing. It's here, right? But the Holy Ghost lives in your body and gives life to it. And so it's like death is trying to get you with disease or sickness or COVID or whatever. And then you have, hopefully, I don't get banned for saying COVID, right? I'm not gonna, right? Uh, you know how they do that stuff on social media. Anyway, you have like all this stuff pushing down on your life, telling you you're sick, telling you you're horrible, telling you, oh, you got to go to the doctor, you don't have faith or whatever, whatever, right? And you're fighting this thing in the in your natural and you're accepting it as you, but in reality, you got the Holy Ghost inside pushing against it and changing you, getting you to think right and getting you to believe you're healed and healthy, and you got the Holy Ghost power, right? And so start believing that you're healthy, that you're delivered. And even if you have to go get a surgery, you have to go to the doctor, you have to get blood tests, whatever. Glory to God. Your name's written in the Lamb's book of life. You can't, uh like Job tried to explain why he had to go through all the boils on his body. You ever looked up boils? I should show you a picture of boils, right? Okay. So, like the boils that they had. So imagine the boils are that Job had, okay? These boils are huge, like let's say baseball-sized boils on his body, all over his body. And the Bible says he was a blameless man. His kids died. He had boils on his body. He lost millions of dollars probably back then. All his camels, all his sheep, dead, gone, whatever, stolen. So he went through way bad stuff and he didn't do anything wrong. So you're going through something, you're trying to figure out what you did wrong, and oh my gosh, God hates me, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But it says Job was blessed what? Double for his trouble. Double. He was blessed double. God made it good in the end for Job, even though he lost his kids. You've lost a kid, believe in see the Job, the story of Job. Job lost his kids, and he did nothing wrong, right? He couldn't explain it, laying there with boils and his wife telling him, Oh, just curse God and die, man. He's like, No, I'm not gonna do that. He believed in God, he believed in Jesus, the coming Messiah. So, in the same way you believe in the Messiah, so get out of yourself and seeing all the negative and go into the joy of the Lord as your strength. Your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. Rejoice always. Again, I say, rejoice. He wrote that from prison 2,000 years ago. Amen. All right. So I think I'm gonna close up. I think uh I've yapped enough. Hopefully, uh Spirit Stream 66 has blessed you abundantly. Thank you for your support of the ministry. And uh I really appreciate everybody that supports ministry, means a lot to me. Uh, if you want to become a monthly supporter, it helps a lot. Uh, you can go and you can donate at thefathersfriends.org. Blah, blah, blah. We have a bunch of resources there. Go to our website, you got an app. And anyway, uh, thank you. Uh yeah, so anything else, Lord? Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So you don't have to look outwardly to find joy. You don't have to try to find joy in your friends, try to find joy in your spouse, try to find what I mean is like they're your source of joy, right? A lot of times we we don't live our life now. We're always waiting for the uh the we're waiting for something. Like for a really long time, I was always waiting for something, waiting for this to happen in my life, waiting for a spouse, or waiting for money, or waiting for this, waiting for that. And then my life began. And then, oh, this is my destiny, this is my life. So a lot of us are waiting for something, waiting to receive that healing, and then your life begins. But one day I was sitting there and I just a light bulb went off. My life is now. My life is now. My life is not when, let's say I get married, my life is not when I have a ministry center that I always wanted, or my life is not when I uh attain something or receive a healing. That's not when my life begins. My life is now, and so rejoice that your life is now, instead of looking at something going, I'll rejoice when. Rejoice now. Right this moment, if you have the Holy Spirit in your body, then you are seated in Christ Jesus, high above all principalities and powers, and every name that is ever named, your name or Jesus' name is above them all, and you are seated in him, and he is seated in the Father, and you're a joint heir, you're a joint heir with Christ, who is an heir to God, and so somehow you're highly, highly favored despite your behavior. And when you realize how favored you are despite your behavior, then you start receiving things you never thought you could receive. So when you get off of yourself and you realize Jesus is your perfection and Jesus is your righteousness, and Jesus is your joy, and just make your life about Jesus, then things start changing. And you start being joyful and happy, and you can love people and you can forgive people easily. And you don't judge people in your brain anymore because you realize that that's stupid, pointless. It's not love. Everybody's carrying around this thing, this flesh thing. And some people's sins manifest in public, some people's sins are private. God knows it all, right? I don't know, guys, but I'm feeling really heavy. I'm feeling like the Holy Ghost is just here. I just love the presence of the Lord. I want to tell everybody that Jesus Christ is coming back soon. Jesus Christ is gonna come back. He's gonna come back for his church, he's gonna come back for his people, and everybody that loves his appearing will be taken with them somehow. I don't know what the rapture is, I don't know if that's true or not, or mid-trib, past trib, post-trib, trib, this, trib that. I don't really care. All I know is that resurrection is coming. We're gonna get to see Jesus coming through the clouds, however that looks, right? We're gonna see Jesus someday. You're gonna see Jesus someday, and your name, he's gonna open the book, and your name is gonna be written in the Lamb's book of life. Why? Because you're a great person? No, because Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the Messiah, the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, the most wonderful savior, the most wonderful person in the entire galaxy, the entire creation, the creator, God. God is amazing. The angels are everywhere helping you. See, you're just negative all the time. Just get out of the negative. There's angels all around us helping us. God is sending people to help you. God is blessing you in things, the the things that you know you thought were an open door and it was closed. God's just protecting you, you know. God's just protecting you. You know, God is very protective of those he calls, those that have uh his heart, he's protective of you, you know, so you're not where you think you should be right now, but you are. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Lord, we love you, we worship you, we honor you, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah. Bye, guys.
