Through a series of chilling recordings, police reports, and lost audio logs -- sent anonymously to an Investigative Reporter -- "The Radish Man" unfolds as a found-footage horror mystery, documenting one man’s descent into madness as he fights to save his family from an unstoppable terror. But the deeper he digs, the more the truth becomes clear: no one escapes The Radish Man. No one ever has.

SPEAKER_01

Well, despite my better judgment, I'm heading back into the woods.

SPEAKER_00

No sound.

SPEAKER_01

There's gotta be something that I'm missing. Something that escaped me the first time I was out here. And although rationality is screaming, why the fuck am I doing this? Everything else tells me that I have no choice. Things are getting worse.

SPEAKER_00

Where all the birds go.

SPEAKER_01

I mean if you if you can believe that. We're all we're seeing things now. Shadow figures, orbs of light in our peripheral. Electronics turn off and on, doors open and shut. There are there are voices. Whispers in the dark. It's like we're being haunted. But the thing is that this isn't a ghost or a spirit. This is different. We know this is different. While all these other phenomena are piggybacking onto this thing, I I I don't I don't know. Sitchels in the trees now. I don't know. Maybe the veil has thinned because of our proximity. Maybe it's because we know its name. What is this? I don't know. Maybe it's because he he threw a rock at it. I d I don't know, honestly. I just I don't know. Man, like I I love this genre. I love this genre of fiction, but it it's fiction. What are you? Not this. This is this is real life. What are you? Film, movies like like poltergeist, shows like the like the X-File. I fucking love the X-Files. It's like one of my favorites of all time. Fright Knight, Jaws, Close Encounters, Night of the Living Dead, the the universal monsters to the hammer horror monsters. We've been taught the rules. My entire life I've known the rules of horror.

unknown

I am.

SPEAKER_01

Not just in in film, but in literature. From creatures to curses, from from mask wearing psychopaths to monsters, from from witches to the macabre. Like we know the fucking rules, man. Like we We're supposed to know how to combat this. So what is this? Like what like what are we what are we dealing with here? Yes, yes, yeah, I I know. I know it's the radish man. The red man in the dirt.

SPEAKER_00

Help.

SPEAKER_01

Help. I know its fucking name. I get it. But what is it? Right like what is this? My gravesite. Like what what is this? Because there are no rules here. And and for this? Whatever this is, like fuck the movies. Because in our experience, daylight is just as fucking scary as night. Trust me. Doesn't matter if the sun is shining. It still comes. Alright, well on that note I'm at the um the barrier. It's actually quite pretty. If it weren't so fucking scary.

unknown

There's nothing like that.

SPEAKER_01

All right, well, let's get to it.

SPEAKER_00

The next three tapes to follow are unsalvageable.
