All right, welcome back to the awakeningconsciousness.community uh show. This is a series about social emotional intelligence for children and adults. This is by Ashley Heacock by me. So we're gonna do another poetry break before we get into the social emotional intelligence card deck to learn about emotions. So this poem is called A Jigsaw Puzzle of Our Hearts, Putting Ourselves Back Together Again. Alright, so here we go. Fitting together emotionally is like putting a jigsaw puzzle of our hearts together. Where will you complete me in the places and spaces I feel the most alone? Will we find each other in the darkest of caverns? Will you cuddle me in the curves I never thought would be loved? Can you connect to me in the faint openings of the mind? Can you shine the light on my wounds? And can we heal each other where we feel like a warm bandage that feels just right? Where do you need me? Where do I need you? Where do we connect like we're one when we're two? Emotionality as our guide to the twists and turns of life, finding our way back to each other, a family rejoining, one puzzle, many pieces, remembering who we are. Love spread out to distant shores. Can you greet me even way out here? Will you reach me at the highest peaks and the lowest parts? Can we put ourselves back together again? And is that the point in the first place? Are we the pieces and God the director? Or are the pieces our story and we the narrator? One light spiraling forever, finding our way back to love each other, ourselves, God the one, a puzzle complete, an image remade, love no longer forlorn, a whole story reborn. So this was uh my poetry, a jigsaw puzzle of our hearts. And know that when I say God I mean it in a very um it's for the whole world. You can you can um refer to God as anything you would like in your own spirituality. This is for anybody from any spiritual tradition. So um just know that. And uh please yes, meditate on this. It's it's also on my website. You can read it again, um, and I hope this is helpful. Uh, and this is kind of what we're we're trying to do with uh these emotions deck is is you know be with each other at the highest peaks in the lowest valleys, and and so I hope this is a helpful uh beginning to what we're about to journey into.
