Turn into your Bibles if you would, please. We're in 1 Kings 3, 5 through 15. And if you don't have a Bible, I love paper Bibles. Who in here loves paper Bibles? I like to hold the physical thing. If I'm on my phone, man, I get distracted. It is not good for me. But what I've found is that when I set my phone aside, when I pick up that paper Bible, man, it just speaks to me. And so we've also provided Bibles in the seat in front of you. We'd love for you to grab one. If you don't have a Bible, take it with you. Write your name in the front cover. That's fine with us. We'd love for you to do that. But you know, we're in this fourth week of this series, we call holy fear, and we are learning what it means to be before a fearful God. And who knows that that is a healthy thing. It is very healthy. It is not this unapproachable fear, but this is a reverence, a respectful fear that we should have. And our series verse is Proverbs 9, verse 10. It says, For the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. And today, as we're focusing on, I who says I want to gain wisdom? I want to gain wisdom. And I sit there and ask, where does true wisdom come from? Where does it come from? How do we find it? For instance, I call my three boys the wise guys. Clearly, I grew up watching the three stooges. Do we have any three stooges lovers in the house? And even though even though it's a term of endearment, calling them the wise guys, calling someone a wise guy isn't very genuine. You know it. What you're really saying is you're kind of a knucklehead. You're being a knucklehead right now. And our world lacks true wisdom. And most people look at what we call conventional wisdom and we equate it to what we're talking about today. And I want to be clear, it's it's not. It's not the same thing, it's very different. There are so many outlets in what we can do to gain what the world calls wisdom. You can go to the bookstore, you can look at the self-help books, you can check out your podcast library on your phone. And there are so many success gurus out there offering quick fixes to turn your life around. I got a question. With all these resources available to us, how is there anyone making foolish decisions out there? Right? We should all be good. Are there any NFL fans in the room? Got NFL fans? You know, you guys are probably going through withdrawals right now, unless, unless for some reason, you know, off-season minicamp gets you excited and you're like, yeah, let's go. And in 2015, one of the hottest NFL coaches was Pete Carroll. You know, at that time, he was it and he had he had great success at USC. Then he kind of escaped some trouble because the NCAA was about to get on him. And then he went to the NFL and immediately he established a great team in Seattle. You saw it happen almost immediately. And you guys remember their defense stopped everybody. In fact, they were called the Legion of Boom. Who thinks, man, that sounds really bad? That sounds bad. And their offense there was was mostly successful, primarily on the back of their run game with a guy named Marshawn Lynch. And at the time, if if you were trying to stop Marshawn Lynch, you couldn't stop him. That dude was just, he was an animal, and so he was a scary guy to play against. Now, that coach Pete, Pete was a guru. He studied a ton of film, he was known as a tactician, but in the Super Bowl that year, they were trailing the New England Patriots by four points, and they had the ball at the one-yard line of the opponent's side. There's just 26 points left in the game, and and everyone's like, this is their ballgame. Like, this is it. They can end the game, they win it, and then they're Super Bowl champions. Everyone knew the Seahawks were gonna win. Just hand it to Marshawn. Just hand it to the guy, he'll crash right in. Pete Carroll had all the earthly wisdom and abundance, but in that high pressure moment, his decision was almost too smart, too cute, and he disconnected from a simple decision, and what he did, he called a pass play and watched it get intercepted by a rookie for the New England Patriots that sealed the game. You know, today we're looking at King Solomon and in him seeking God, he could have asked for anything in the world. He could have asked for riches, he could have asked for power, he could have asked for long life, and he asked for discernment to serve God's people. That's what he asked for. And so I want us to look at this section of scripture, 1 Kings chapter 3, verses 5 through 15. And what we're gonna see is that Solomon's approach to wisdom was very different than the world. And so let's read. It said, That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, What do you want? Ask and I will give it to you. Solomon replied, You showed great and faithful love to your servant, my father David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you, and you have continued to show this great and faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne. Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father David, but I am like a little child who doesn't know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people and nations so great and numerous they cannot be counted. Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours? The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. So God replied, Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice, and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies, I will give you what you asked for. I will give you a wise and understanding heart, such as no one else had had or ever will have. And I will also give you what you did not ask for, riches and fame. No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life. And if you follow me and obey my decrees and my commands as your father David did, I will give you a long life. Then Solomon woke up and realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem and stood before the ark of the Lord's covenant where he sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings. Then he invited all his officials to a great banquet. Let's pray. Father God, your word is good. And Lord, it guides us if we let it. But Lord, so often we read your word, we demand you to change us, and then we don't make the steps, we don't open up our heart for change. And God, I pray that that begin in this room today. I thank you in Jesus' name. And everyone said, Amen, amen. So, you know, when I'm when I'm reading this, there are a few things that really stand out to me. And the the first thing is that, you know, earthly wisdom, it seeks the interest of self. The interest of self always comes first, but godly wisdom, it seeks to serve. And we see that there in 1 Kings chapter 3, verses 5 through 9. And so all of a sudden, who who dreamed something last night? You know, I have these dreams, and I'm gonna be honest, my dreams are wild. I'm worried it's more the cheese pizza I had than necessarily something that God's giving me. But clearly it's noted here that Solomon knew he was in a dream from God, and God offers this generous gift. Imagine God asking you out of nowhere, what do you want? And I'll give it to you. What do you want and I'll give it to you? And I can only imagine what you might come up with. And if you weigh the first thing that comes to mind, if God was to ask you right now, what do you want? What would you ask for? And then ask yourself, Is my request out of selfish ambition? Is it out of selfish ambition? Because think about this Solomon could have asked for anything, he could have asked for long life, riches, victory over his enemies. But the very first thing it says he does when he's asked the question, he recounts God's faithfulness to his father David. Help me, help me understand how I can best minister and reach and serve these people. And so he asks God for this, and in his request, there is no self-gratification at all. Did you notice that? There's nothing that serves him in that other than for him to have better understanding and how to reach them. You know, so often you and I, what happens is we fall into this trap. This trap of we want things from God. God, I need this, God, I need that. And if we examine many of those requests, almost all of them carry only earthly benefit and no eternal benefit. Jesus tells us in Matthew 7 7, and this is gonna be your argument to me, ask and it will be given to you. Okay, God, man, I need a new car. Lord, my job stinks. My job stinks. You know what? Any job you find, you're eventually gonna hate. It's just that's the way the world seems to work. Lord, I need a new house. God, I don't have enough money. Like we can we can go over all these asks, all these things that we want. And Jesus also tells us in the Sermon on the Mount that we serve a good God who knows how to give good gifts to his children. And so we read those things and we say, Yes, Lord, and we start thinking about all these things that we need. And I want to tell you something, and I really ask you to examine this. Our heart is measured by what we ask for. Our heart's measured by what we ask for. When Solomon's father David was described, he was described as a man after God's own heart. And so he longed for the things of God and he wanted the things of God, and then he was just blessed in abundance because his heart belonged to the Lord. Now, does your heart belong to God or does it belong to worldly things? Is that what you're longing for? And so are we asking for things out of a deep relationship with God that He that we we understand his desires, we understand what he wants, or are we looking at our relationship with him as something that's transactional? Listen to Matthew 6, 19 through 21. It says, Don't store up treasures here on earth where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven where moths uh and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Where your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will be also. We're also gonna read verse 33. It says, Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Many of you have probably heard this story, and there's there's quite a few in the room that haven't. I I go down to Cuba a lot, and I do I do ministry in Cuba, and if you don't know, because of once once the US came into Venezuela in early of 2026, things in Cuba changed, and Cuba hasn't really been receiving a whole lot of oil. And so if you go over there right now, get this gas prices. You can only get gas on the black, the black or gray market, and it's going for around $43 a gallon. $43 a gallon. And these are people that they make are on average around $12 a month. It just you can imagine what it's done to the nation. And so I I love going down to Cuba, and you you see they're suffering and you see everything they're going through. But the reason I love going down there is because their faith is greater than mine. And the the very first trip I ever took down there, we are we we took protein bars because I was prepared. I was told, hey, they don't have a lot of food, and we don't want to take their food, so take your own protein bars so that we don't eat anything of theirs. And so I came completely prepared. And we sat at Pastor David's table, and there Rebecca was preparing a big meal, and all of a sudden we're all feeling guilty. And I'm like, my hand is going for my protein bars, like saying, No, it's fine. I I'm I'm taken care of. I I can get I can get by for five days. And the leader of our group said, Hey, we brought food. You you don't need to do this. Save store up your food, save it for a rainy day, and then kind of pointed at our stomachs and said, You can see clearly we don't we don't need your food. And Pastor David stopped us dead in his track, dead in our tracks, I should say. He said, We are Matthew 6, 33 people. God has given us enough for today. We eat. That began to change my thinking and how I approach what is it I really need? What is it I really need? Do I need that car? Do I need that new job? Do I need that game-saving medicine? Or do I need God? Do I need God? Now Solomon he responded to God overwhelmed by his position. And you know, he he approached the Lord with humility. And I think we have to begin to know the difference between what is earthly wisdom and what's godly wisdom. So earthly and conventional wisdom, it's it's self-centered, it's focused on personal gain, power, comfort, success, or maybe just trying to look impressive to others. But by nature, it's earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. Listen to James 3, 13 through 16. If you are wise and understand God's ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don't cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not God's kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind. I don't know about you, but I read that and I get convicted. You know, so many want to ask that that, you know, Paul Paul wrote in describing that we're of the day of the doctrine of demons, and what is the doctrine of demons? And I want to tell you first and foremost, and to understand why this would call it demonic, it is rooted in self. It is rooted in self-gratification, self-worship, self-desire, everything that we could possibly want. But then there's godly wisdom. It's humble, it puts others before yourself. What Solomon models in this, he models this meekness that he's aware of his limits. That's the very first thing he says. He's like, I'm like a little child. God, I need your help. And yet I'm burdened for your people. So give me what I need, and I need wisdom. Listen to 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 27. It says, instead, God chose the things of the world that the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. So what God does, he uses what seems weak to the world, those who are humble, those who depend on God, to confound self-reliant or wise people. And Solomon's request, it flows from this deep reverence for God, recognizing past faithfulness and an awareness that, Lord, I need accountability to you. You know, I think you can tell how smart people in leadership are by if they're self-serving or they're a humble leader. That's really where it begins. And you can determine the character of someone right away by if if they're just doing it kind of to serve themselves, or if they're doing it out of true true humility and reliance on God. And so when you pray, are you asking God for what you want, or what equips you to serve others better? To become wise is not by our effort. You're sitting there going, Pastor, give me the right book to read and I'm set to go. Like, Lord, God, if you will just download me what I need, then I'm ready. And listen, I know that true wisdom does come from God, not human effort, but it begins somewhere and it begins with our discipline and our obedience. It begins in his word. Now it says in verse 10 that Solomon's request pleased the Lord. Did you see that? And then God takes it a step further. Listen to 1 Kings 3, verse 12. It says, I will give you a wise and understanding heart, such as no one else has had or ever will have. And so here's the thing, because we we try and look for this and we try and say, Man, if I could just, if I could just be a little bit smarter in some of my decision making, if I could be like this person or that person, Solomon wasn't operating out of common sense. That wasn't what he was operating out of. He wasn't just a real smart guy. It's discernment rooted in knowing God. I want you to catch that. And so you're asking this question today, and this is what I really hope to give you. How do I become wise? You start right here. You start right here. The book of Proverbs, it repeatedly links wisdom to fearing God and obeying his commands. Proverbs 1 7 says, Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. James 1.5 says, if you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. And we believe we serve a Lord that God gives to those who ask, and he gives generously to those who ask. So where do we start? Fear the Lord and obey him. I'm gonna say it again. Fear the Lord and obey him. It's the obedience part that can be so difficult because guess what? We're we're these fleshly beings. Well, we think we are. We look at our flesh, we look at everything that appeals to our fleshly nature. And so that's where we struggle. Walking in obedience. You know, Solomon, this this changed everything for him. Eventually he wrote the book Proverbs, he wrote Ecclesiastes, he wrote Song of Solomon, and these books, what they displayed is wisdom that flowed from the revelation of who God is. You want to really know who God is. Fear and obey him. Fear and obey him. Solomon in all these writings, it wasn't just observations he made, it was this deep, intimate relationship that knew the heart of God. And I want to tell you guys, you can't just flip a switch and all of a sudden you have this heart out after God that's doing everything you could possibly dream of. Create a posture in your life that nothing else matters but Him. That's the key. Nothing else matters but him. And then what's going to happen is you're going to find your heart longs to read his word. Your heart longs to be in his presence. Your heart longs to have his understanding into all of your situations. And then you notice your desires change. I'm no longer desiring the things of the world. I'm desiring the things of God. And so we need to be able to understand. We do have to develop this. This does develop, but it develops with God doing the work. And so we start by recognizing what is wisdom, what's not wisdom. Earthly wisdom, it relies on human reasoning. It looks at trends or bases everything on experience, which often lead to futility. I hate that I go to so many pastors' conferences, and what they do is they say, hey, this guy was successful. Let's bring him in. Let's have him talk about how successful he was. And you know what that typically does? That starts to inflate the ego a little bit. And I'm like, that's not it. If you can't give glory to God for all the good and the bad in your life, then you don't have the heart of the Father. You don't understand that you need, you need to honor God through everything. And so success in ministry does not demonstrate, wow, that guy is close to God. That's not what it demonstrates. First Corinthians 3.19 says, For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God, as the scriptures say, he traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness. But godly wisdom. It's a gift from above. It's pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy and good fruit. James chapter 3, verse 17, it says, But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace-loving, gentle at times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Here's the thing: you cannot fake this. If you fake it, eventually the foundation cracks. It does. It needs to be out of this genuine relationship with the Lord. And so it starts with a reverent awe of God. Understanding God, He is powerful. He is good. He can take it away. He authors our beginning. He's authored our end. Solomon's humility, what it began to do is it opened this door, and what happened was God exalted him. That's all he did. Imagine if Solomon approached God in the wrong way. Just imagine that. But Solomon's wisdom, because he approached God in this right way, it became obvious to all through very difficult decisions. And here's the thing: we we so often think, if I am a wiser person, then life is going to get easier. That's not the case. But instead, God brings immediately this difficult decision to him. You can read it. It starts in the very next verse of 1 Kings chapter 3, verse 16. It starts in that verse that all of a sudden Solomon he's asked for this. God gives it to him. He is sitting on his throne and he has to make judgments in his kingdom. And he is presented with this judgment where two women come to him and both are claiming to be the mother. Awkward. Super awkward. And so he is sitting there, he's hearing these arguments, and I can only imagine the difficulty of the decision. How do I Sherlock this situation? I don't know. And so, so he just, I can only imagine Solomon and his wisdom. Lord, I need you right now. And his solution to figure out how the real mother was was so unconventional. He said, I have an idea. So both of you can be satisfied. Let's split the baby in half. You get half. You get half. You can imagine the outcry of the real mother in that moment. Please, please, please don't do that. Give it to her. Give it to her. She can have it. I do not want that to happen. The other one's like, yes, do that thing that you have asked. Do that thing. Split the baby up. That way we can both be satisfied. Immediately. Calling the bluff of the imposter. You know, we sit there and read that, and you're like, I would have figured that out. But much like Pete Carroll, in the heat of the moment, it's important to call on the sovereign God who will show us the right path. You're not as smart as you think you are, and you'll figure that out when the pressure is on. Lastly, godly wisdom brings lasting blessing when we walk in obedience. I can't say it enough. And here's the thing like we we believe that God can honor us in our disobedience. God cannot. He cannot honor us in our disobedience. We need to seek being people that obey what he asks of us. And so what I want you to notice in this section of scripture, and it's so vitally important that God adds blessings when Solomon displayed a right heart. He added blessings on and he gives Solomon what he didn't ask for. It says in verse 13, riches and honor, but with the condition. Listen to the condition. If you walk in my ways as your father David did, if you walk in my ways. Now look at Solomon's response. Look at the immediate response. We can read it there. That he wakes up from the dream, and the very first thing he does is he goes to worship at the Ark of the Covenant, which we talked about just a couple weeks ago, the dwelling place of the Lord, and then he feasts. Those are the steps that he took. And so his immediate response is not one of expectation what God's gonna do, his immediate response is gratitude. I'm gonna worship you, God, through this. And here is that where it gets obvious. It brings this temporary success, but it leads to emptiness, it leads to pride, it eventually leads to downfall. Now, here's the story that we're not covering today. Just a snippet. Later in Solomon's life, he did not walk as his father David did. Solomon became a man that was very worldly. He had over 700 wives. Gentlemen, come on, who says that's nonsense right there? It's just it's absolute nonsense. He had 700 wives, he had 300 concubines, and what he started doing was he started intermarrying foreign women. And here's the thing about God's standard with his chosen people, they were not allowed to intermarry. And so what Solomon was displaying was that he it had eventually got to him. He turned selfish. And it's noted in 1 Kings 11, it says, These wives turned his heart after other gods. The wisest man at his peak. The wisest man. But he drifted when he stopped walking in holy fear. And church, I I want you to know there is never a point where you're like, you know what? I've attained. I'm good. I don't need taken care of. I don't need, I don't, I don't need watched after. I don't need accountability. I am at a level with God that I am untouchable. That does not exist. In fact, I can tell you, my board has seen me break down in tears, acknowledging how fallible I am. And I want us to have this heart that God protect me at each and every step. Help me walk in wisdom. I know that even if I seek all the wisdom in the world, there is still a chance. There is still a chance I can fall away. If I seek all the godly wisdom in the world, there is still a chance that I can allow that earthly nature to take over. And so I've got a question for you, and it's a loaded question. Do you want wisdom? Because even with the greatest godly wisdom in the world, we can still fall away. It was rooted in very good things. But we are so delicate. But godly wisdom yields a blessing. So I say, yes, I want all the godly wisdom I can get. I need it. Discernment and decisions, peace, influence for God's kingdom, an eternal reward. I know all those things are good. And these things are gonna flow from an ongoing fear of the Lord. And so we really need to decide what is it we're chasing? What are we chasing? If we really get down to the desires of our heart, what are we chasing? Are we chasing worldly wisdom or the kind that pleases God and blesses others? You know, if you really want to know, really want to break it down where ultimate wisdom comes from. It's found in Jesus Christ. Listen to Colossians chapter 2, verses 2 through 3. It says, I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God's mysterious plan, which is Christ Himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In Christ lie all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. You know, the Bible describes that the cross looked like foolishness to the world, but was the power of God. And so if there is any scripture I read for you today that is important to seal to your heart, it's this last one right here. Listen to 1 Corinthians 1, 18 through 25. Says the message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction, but we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. As the scriptures say, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent. So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching. He has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended, and the Gentiles say it's all nonsense. But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God's weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strengths. The hardest part of writing a sermon is always the ending. It's always the end. Not knowing how do I end this? How do I see if it's being sown into hearts? How how how do we keep this going even though this ends? You want true worldly wisdom? Seek Jesus Christ with all your heart. There became a time in my life where I had to decide to surrender. You know, surrender sounds like a dirty word. It sounds like a word that we should just absolutely be repulsed by. Because in my pride in who I naturally am, I don't want to yield to anyone or anything. I want to show how powerful I am and that I can stand up against anything. Because we want to believe that that's the true victory, that's true wisdom. I want you to close your eyes, and I want you to listen to this story. I'm a visual person, so I like to close my eyes and I like to like to see these things. There was a story of a man named Jeremy Grunau, and he was a former U.S. Army Apache helicopter pilot who served in combat. Jeremy grew up with deep questions and pain. He lost his mom at a young age. And so he was always wrestling with doubts about God and he was carrying the weight of what he'd seen in war. All those battles in his life left him broken and striving in his own strength. Then came this critical moment. He was getting ready to have major leg surgery. And it was going to completely end his mobility. And lying there facing the unknown, he finally surrendered, and in his words, he prayed this Lord, if you save my leg, I give my life to you. I yield. I'm going to serve you the rest of my life. And in that moment of yielding, not just to the circumstances, but he yielded in that moment his will. Supernatural peace began to flood him. He woke up from his surgery with both legs intact, and more importantly, a transformed heart. He had complete mobility. And what he saw as a weakness in surrender became the beginning of real strength, purpose, and wisdom. Jeremy now runs warriors in Christ. And he helps others find freedom through that same kind of wholehearted surrender to Jesus. You want wisdom? Great. You gotta surrender. You want true wisdom? Seek Jesus. You want true wisdom? Read the word. But I am telling you, it begins with our heart posture. And if you don't adjust your heart's posture to say, God, I am choosing to yield to you in my life, then you're going to find yourself repeating the same missteps time and time and time again. So what I want us to do right now, I'm gonna ask everyone in this room to stand as we begin to close. I'm gonna say that again because I really want you to hear it. If you are going to yield, you have to force your flesh to do uncomfortable things. And so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna pray right now. I'm gonna pray for those that God is working on. And if God is working on you and you can feel the Holy Spirit's prompting and say, Hey, you need to yield to me. You need to surrender your all to me. What I want you to do is once I'm done praying in response, I want you to get out of your seat and I want you to come down here and I want you to surrender at the altar. Let's pray. Father God. And God, it is so easy for us to look to others to understand how it is to truly gain wisdom. But God, along that path, so often people don't learn what it means to truly surrender unto you. And God, I think we are only beginning to tap into true wisdom and true relationship and true love once we decide to surrender. So, God, I pray that your Holy Spirit, right now, as you are working on hearts and minds, and God, people can feel the pull that Lord, we respond to that pull that you are drawing us toward you. And God, we make that physical step to say, I am done fighting. I yield. Lord, I surrender to you and I surrender to your ways. So, God, today I believe that you are calling many to surrender. And God, spiritually, the work that you begin to do is only going to be solidified when we truly say, I'm going to set the needs, the desires of my flesh aside, and I say, I need you, Lord. God, we give to you, we thank you for your son Jesus Christ. Lord, may we walk in true surrender daily, knowing what it means. In Jesus' name. If that's you right now, if you say, I need to surrender, I need to yield to the Lord, we open up this altar as we sing. Would you come?

Come on, give the Lord a hand clap of praise, guys. The Lord is preparing our hearts for something, and I think we need to be prepared for many coming to know him. And listen, it is not good enough to just expect that they're gonna learn on their own. We need to be spiritually prepared to lead and guide and show them the path. So coming up, we're gonna be announcing it soon. There's gonna be a new prayer altar team class that's coming up in July. We would love for you to be consider being a part of that if you'd like to pray with others, if you'd like to come alongside them and keep encouraging them throughout the week. That class is for you. Also, today, we've got a fundraiser downstairs. I don't remember what it said they're making. Anyone help me out? Pasta. Pasta La Pasta. Monster Bars. You had me at Monster Bars, Joy's Monster Bars. Um, but I want to tell you this. We we'd encourage you to stick around. Fellowship, whatever you can give, we'd love for it. Because here's the thing, and this is key. This goes towards our kids going to camp. And we value that so much. We believe that God is going to do something great in them in a mighty way. So please consider sticking around. Help send our kids to camp. And I know that uh there are many kids in this room that grew up, but they can go back and credit camp as something where they learned about God. And so, again, again, you see the value in it. And I'm gonna close in prayer. Father God, I just thank you and praise you for what you are doing. God, we have responsibility that when we leave this room, who are going to encounter that we can we can just deliver that message of hope, truth, and love. And so, God, I pray that God, as you have done some groundwork here today, Lord, there's more to do once we leave this place. And so, God, keep directing. Showing us the way. And Lord, I just I just pray that each and every individual invited the Holy Spirit on that journey with them. We thank you and we praise you in Jesus' name. And all God's people said, Amen, amen.
