Hello and welcome to uh Sheffield Wednesday Live, brought to you by The Wednesday Word. It's me, Joe Cran here. It's been another busy week at Sheffield Wednesday. Lots going on. Um, this one today, I think, is predominantly to try and answer any questions that you guys might have over the season tickets. It's been a a day that a lot of Wednesday fans have been waiting for for you know trying to figure out what's happening, where arise are going to go with it. Um, but before we get into sort of your questions, I have taken everything you asked me. I've tried to get some answers from the club. And yeah, I'll try and bring you those uh those answers a little bit later in the show. But first I just want to sort of touch on the the key takeaways, I suppose, from the from the season tickets. I think first and foremost, we're talking cold, hard cash, uh 10% discount across the board. You know, I think, yeah, it probably is still a little bit uh well, it's a lot of money, you know, for a lot of people. Um, but I think the fact that they brought the ticket prices down is is good. It's it's nice to see. Um they didn't, I suppose they didn't have to. I think we everyone expected them to, but you know, they didn't have to do that. So I think to see that uh across the board is is good. I've seen a lot of fans talking about the amount of money that they've saved in comparison to last year. So yeah, major major positive is people are actively saving money. Um the new age bands are good as well, I think. You know, the the key one is the you know, under-11s has moved to under-14s. Under-14s can now get a you know a season ticket every game for 23 quid and pound a game. I don't think you can really complain. I uh I think you obviously they've moved a few of them down, uh sorry, a few of the ages up, which is which is nice. They're clearly making a push to um you know get the next generation in. There was a I mean, I think I'm not the only one who thinks this. There's there's there was a concern that there was going to be a sort of a lost generation for Sheffield Wednesday for the supporters given everything that's happened, the amount of people that that weren't going, that weren't renewing, that weren't buying season tickets. And I think with with the prices, with the way they've done it this time around, is it's very clear to see that they're they're trying to get the next generation of Sheffield Wednesday fans to get in through the door. Um the the other big thing I think in it's uh I suppose an acknowledgement of of why people stayed away is the fact that they're allowing people to renew uh even if they lapsed, you know, for the last, you know, going back to anyone who had a season ticket in any of the seasons from 21-22 onwards, you're able to renew rather than buy a new season ticket. And yeah, I think that's uh it's a really nice little touch that, you know, considering the reasons why Wednesday fans stayed away, you know, whether it was because of Chanceri, whether it's because they couldn't afford Chan Series prices, um now in a position to be able to ask those those guys to come back. Um but yeah, getting on to your your questions, please. If you have any more that I don't answer in the show, I can see the comments coming in already. Uh so I'll I'll sort of get to those a little bit later. But first up, I I want to answer some of the questions that that were asked on on Substack on Twitter. Um so yeah, I went and try and find try to find some some answers for you. Uh the first question was um is it the same visual card on your phone like last year? Um so what I've been told is that new links will be coming through to you guys uh probably around late July, August. Um so then you'll download your new digital passes there. Um can you upgrade a child's ticket to an adult one for the odd game? Yes, you can. You can pay the difference in price. Uh that can be done at the ticket office when that game goes on sale. So that is something you can do. Um if you choose the interest-free option, can you pay it off early if you want? Yes, you can. Um so if you've taken the, you know, it's a really, really nice thing they're doing there with the 20% paying it over five months off and all at once, interest free, no credit check, none of that. Um, but yeah, if you do the 20% and you come into a bit of money or you you know have a bonus or whatever it might be, you can go to the club and you know pay off what's uh what's left. Um I had a question about memberships, just generally what's happening with them. Uh so there'll be more details coming on the memberships uh later in the summer. You know, that'll be all be released in in due course. Uh, question about concession tickets specifically for disabled children. Um, do they have to pay the concession price on each stand? Yes, that is that's an understanding. They will be paying the concession prices. I did have a um a question specifically about uh disabled people on the west stand. Haven't quite got an answer for that one yet, so I'm trying to find out what the pricing is for that. Um, but I imagine it'll be similar to last season's in terms of which stand it lined up with price-wise. Um, can last season's physical cards be reactivated instead of spending another 15 quid? Uh no, is the short answer to that. Um, you have to get a new card. I think part of the reason for that is, you know, they they they would rather people bought online. I know people like to have a physical card, but there are a lot of costs incurred with that, you know, in terms of postage, in terms of um having the cards made. But I think there's also a push to reduce the plastic being used as well. You know, that is a uh a real genuine thing that they're they're trying to avoid of you know having all these physical cards uh hanging about. So yeah, they they I think with with that it's uh it's a case of they they would just ultimately rather people had the digital cards. It's it's a lot for a lot of people it's easier. I could completely understand um if people want the physical thing, you know, there's some people that don't have smartphones, for instance. Um, but yeah, ultimately the answer to the question is uh is unfortunately not. There will be uh you you do have to spend the 15 quid even if you had one last year. Um just a little follow-on from that as well. Um, someone asked if you had the physical card, do you get a digital one as well? Uh again, the answer to that is is no. So if you get the physical card, you won't be getting a digital one. If you lost it or whatever it might be, you you'd have to just you know go and get another one. Um Kada had a question here about um the safe standing, or I don't think they call it safe standing, but you know what I mean. Um was consultation had with season ticket holders in the new safe standing area um that that maybe might not want to stand. Or all I all I know on that is that you know it was discussed with the engagement panel last year, and there's been sort of conversations with the relevant authorities about that. So, you know, ultimately it's it's a way of trying to cut out persistent standing. Um, you know, it's been a it's been a success in a lot of grounds around the country, and then obviously Wednesday are going into a trial period on that now. So um as far as I know, discussions were had, conversations were had, um, and this is the you know the decision that they've ultimately ended up making. Um had a few questions actually about the the 10-year tickets. Um with the basically they will have seats. If you bought a 10-year season ticket, um that will be put through by the ticket office, it will be valid. The multi-year tickets will, you know, they they will continue to be honored by by the club. In terms of the the timeline on it, um, I don't have full details on that, but all I do know is that anyone who's got a you know a multi-year season ticket that will be that will be honoured by the club this season. Um question on uh discount season ticket holders uh with replica shirts and other things in the shop. So there's no specific discount in that sense, you know, that the there's no um you've got a season ticket, so you get X amount off a shirt. But you know, what I have been told is that for every pound uh as a season ticket holder, should I say, uh for every pound you spend in the the state in the club shop, then you get uh uh 10 Wednesday points, and obviously they they accrue over time as well. Um, is there any word on how many sale phases there will be? I know that phases of uh exposed good reason after what happened in the transseria era. Um the phases has has been something that has sparked conversation and a bit of discourse, but um, as far as I know, two just the two phases, which is uh nice, because at one point it felt like we had three million phases and it was it was all a bit ridiculous, really. So we've got the current phase, people have got, I think, a month to to buy these, whether it's a renewal or a new ticket, and then there will be another phase. Um, obviously the the aim is with that to try and get many as many people buying as quickly as possible. Um, you know, the the club has just come out of administration, yes, we're under due ownership, but um, yeah, they could still do with uh a little bit of money in the door, I think. So I think that is why the there's a I suppose an incentive to get people to buy them, buy them now, but there will only be two phases. It's not a you know, I think a lot of fans felt like they were being held to ransom by the the last ownership. You know, if you don't get it now, you're gonna be punished again and again and again if you the sort of the longer you wait. So with this one, it's a case of this is the price now, that'll be the price then. Don't know what that's gonna be, don't know what the match is. Another question I got asked a lot was was match day prices. Don't know that yet, but yeah, that's uh that's kind of where we're at. They are the um they're the answers to the questions you had. I'm gonna jump into the comments now, see uh, see if there's anything else. Um, question from from Mark there, just saying what do I think about the prices? I think it's pretty fair. You know, I think you know you look at you know the team across the road, um, it's a it's about in line. Some bits are cheaper, some are a little bit more expensive. Um there's teams in you know, lower down the divisions who have got more expensive tickets. It's it's a bit of a, I think it it seems about fair to me. I I don't think that they're crazy cheap, but I don't think they're, you know, I don't think they're extortional at all. And I think the, you know, especially what they've done with the the young, the the young fans, making it accessible to them is is really, really good. Um a question here from uh Zed Moyd. Um hi Joe, when do you think the retain list will be out? I was gonna talk about the retain list because that is uh it's something that I've been asked quite a lot over the last few days. It always happens this way at this time of year. Um, so the players have got to be told tomorrow whether they are having their exercise, their options exercised, if they are um, you know, if they plan to try and open up contract talks of a new one, if they're being released. Um, that has to happen by the the third Saturday of May. Obviously, that is tomorrow. It doesn't actually have to be made public. I think it's become such a common thing with retaining lists being released, there is no actual deadline to make it public. They have a deadline to tell the players, they have a deadline to speak to the EFL and tell the EFL what they're doing. Um, but in terms of announcing it publicly, I mean they don't have to do it at all if they don't want uh, you know, Wednesday will, I'm sure, just like every other team in the country seems to. Um, but there's no actual, you know, you have to do it by this day. You have to, I mean, like I say, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. Um, but I imagine, you know, that's something we'll get in the in the coming days. You know, when players, we've already seen Nathaniel Shallow say goodbye, we've seen Rio Shipston say goodbye. So yeah, I imagine that once players are told, they'll start to sort of go public with things as well. So I expect quite you know, probably quite a busy couple of days in in that sense. Um one player I do know, I did a story over on the Wednesday word earlier today. Ernie Weavers had his uh contract option exercised, which is absolutely zero surprise, um, considering how well he did when he came into the side. I would imagine, I don't know for a fact, but I imagine uh George Brown's in a in a similar boat. Uh with Ernie, my understanding is that they've exercised their option now, so that takes him to 2027. But then there will be further talks, you know, down the line uh regarding a an improved contract, should we say, because this will be uh an option that's been exercised on effectively a youth contract that it was on before, and you know, he's climbed a little bit further with the pecking order since then. Um got a question here saying with the new restrictions on finances, we need to generate income. Absolutely right. You know, we've uh we've got uh the the these new uh financial rules that came in today with uh with with League One. I mean, they've they've done it at various divisions, but the League One is uh the put simply is teams can spend 50% of their turnover. Um if you've just come down from the championship, you can spend 65%. So Wednesday need to, this is on wages, um, and the managers are included in that, I think. Um yeah, so Wednesday need to generate income if they're going to be able to spend on wages. Obviously, there are lots of other little moving parts from a Wednesday perspective in terms of the business plan. We don't know the the full details of that, but yeah, Wednesday are I think given the the fan base, given the amount of money that you guys spend in the club shop and on season tickets and things like that, I do think Wednesday will be pretty well positioned next season. Uh when I did a piece a couple of weeks back about the the the competitiveness of where Wednesday are going to be financially, I was told that they wouldn't be particularly worse off than any of the the other teams in the in the division. So, you know, that that is uh that's a really good thing to know. And and the fact that they're you know, going on to to the the the comment there about about needing the income. Um I think that's it that's exactly right. Dan Langton there saying we need that. And yeah, I think that's like part of the reason that they wanted um they want to have people buying it as soon as possible. Um Joan Burt saying I got this my senior ticket this morning, fantastic stuff. Um, I think it could be a a fun a fun um fun season ahead. Uh Mark Hayes get got told my digital be sent to me in July. That sounds about right, yeah. Um need the Umbro kits releasing ASAP, also easy whim to release some Umbrella classic kicks as well from the 90s. Um, yeah, the Umbra stuff's cool, in it. Um, as a as a fan of a certain vintage, um, you know, there's a lot of us that that remember Umbro and remember the great times that we had in Umbro shirts. It's been uh uh I suppose a badly kept secret for a little while that that Wednesday were potentially gonna be going to go down that route. Obviously, my my good friend Alex Miller did a story about early in this week just confirming that that it was gonna be Umbro that was taking over. And yeah, I think you know what Dan's saying there about it being easy wins, yeah. I imagine I think this shirt might sell quite well. Um, you know, it's gonna be interesting to see what they do with with the prices on the shirts, um, the price on the kits in general, I suppose. But yeah, I I um I think if they bring them down, which given what they've done with the season tickets, I would expect them to. Uh I think this could be quite a big seller. Um, question from Tom Matthew saying, Do we know anything about Simon Wilson holding equity in Stockport? Seen some of their fans mention that on X. Uh I'll be honest, I uh Tom, I don't know on that from I'll I'll have to go and do a bit of research on that. Um I've I've not seen that myself. Um what I do know is that that he's a very well-respected man in his uh in his role. Uh he's he's done a you know fantastic job at Stockport, watching them sort of climb up the divisions, spoken to a couple of people um who have got nothing but good things to say about Simon. Obviously, it's not been confirmed yet, but my you know, my understanding as per Alex earlier in the week as well, is that you know that is that is going to be happening. Uh he's been in Sheffield, you know, David Bruce has come in as CEO. Simon Wilson's expected to come in as uh as a sporting director. So it feels like they're filling these positions up, and that was always something they wanted to do. They want to do it quick. You know, they they want to hit the ground running, you know, there's already work being done at Hillsborough, as we've seen in some of the pictures that were put out today. So they're not they're not hanging about, they've got things to be doing, and uh, yeah, no, they're not they're not messing around. Um any inkling on time frame for the kit release? Uh no, again, we we've we've not really had any sort of a hint on that. You with with kits, we I mean with the season tickets, we kind of knew that was that was coming around this point. Um kit release. I imagine it'll be not too far away, but you know, with a new kit supplier, it's you it's a little bit more difficult to do. They, you know, I think you know, when people have kits made, they're often done, you know, months and months in advance. And that isn't going to be the case in this one. This is a very, very quick turnaround with Umbro. Um, you know, look the club's not even announced that Umbro are the new um are the new kit makers yet. So I imagine we'll get that sort of possibly drip fed through over the the next weeks, whatever it might be. Um what we got here? Uh can can please you can't please old people all the time. Yeah, absolutely right, Dan. Yeah. Uh you're never gonna make everybody happy. I think you know, there's a lot of people think the ticket prices have been have been really well priced, other people that think they're too expensive, and and you know, that's all that's all fine. You know, that is that is what it is. Um, just another question on the financial stuff saying that the 65% is it uh all wages, staff, etc. CEO. I think it's just the team and the manager. I think uh, you know, I again I need to, it's only been announced today, so I'm still sort of doing a bit more recent research into that. So uh yeah, we'll keep looking to that. I am hoping to put a I spoke to Kieran McGuire earlier today. I'm hoping to put a more comprehensive piece together on what what all that means uh sometime next week. So yeah, keep your eye out for that and hopefully I can answer some of your questions um from a financial perspective uh in that. Um opens the door to bringing in the old kits into the store. Yeah, yeah, I think you know that there will definitely be a a desire to see some of those old 90s kits back in the back in the mega store. And I'm like again, I'm sure they will sell very, very well if they uh if they do. A question from Jordan Hector saying, Hope you're well. Uh have you heard anything on incomings as of yet? It's a little bit early, you know. Heard a couple of names. Yeah, I know that with Tayo Adamarola, uh, Adamola pop Pati back in. Tayo Adamarola Adoro, oh my word, Tayo Adaramola. There we go. Um with Tayo Tayo, um, he is a player that they'd like to try and get back. You know, he's got another year on his palace contract, as far as I know, so um that would have to be some kind of deal struck there. Wednesday can pay transfer fees again, but I can't imagine they'll be going out and chucking money all over the place. Similar situation with Jaden Hesky as well. So I know they're two players that they they'd like to get back. Jerry Yates is another one that I'm sure there'll be discussions over. Um, but yeah, that the there's a lot going on behind the scenes at various different uh elements of the club. It's not just the football team, it's the it's the stadium, it's the training ground. It's you know, trying to figure out what's happening here, there, and everywhere. So I think once we've started to move past these early steps, you know, fixing up the big things that need to do at the training ground, once the sporting director's through the door, once the contracts are sorted and offered, and there's a bit of progress there, then I'm sure you know we'll we'll start to hear a little bit more in terms of potential incomings. Um, I know that, like for instance, with Will Granger, he's a player that a lot of Wednesday fans want to keep around, the club want to keep around. I know there's sort of conversations going on there around him. Um, but yeah, incomings, I think it's a little bit early, just given everything that's happening at Wednesday at the moment. Um, don't get me wrong, I'm sure Henrik and his team and his uh Kev Beadle will be doing a lot of work um trying to sort of make sure that they're prepared for what's coming ahead. I know that they were watching League One games, going to League One games to try and make sure they were ready for for the season. And yeah, I I think there are plenty of conversations happening. I uh but yeah, I think it might be a little bit too early for me to be doing uh too many rumours on incomings just yet. Um asking if I'll be going to the trust. I I won't, unfortunately. I won't be going to the the trust AGM. Um I think it could be a great night though. You know, looking at the different people that have been announced. I mean, it's uh it's choking cheese, isn't it? From from what Wednesday fans have have come to expect. Uh you know, to see David joining online, to see Tom Costin joining online, you've got Chris Wigfield going through, Ian Bennett, um even the great Dom Housew's going to be around. So yeah, it should be a really, really good afternoon. I'll I'll be uh I'll be tuning. I think the the Wednesday die boys have said they're gonna be streaming it, so I'll be tuning into that and seeing what's going on. But yeah, should be uh should be a really good night. Looking forward to uh to to checking it out. Um if you have got any questions, I'll be wrapping up in a in a few minutes. So if you've got any questions, send them on through. Um I think we've covered covered most of the the bits and bats from from today. Um got another uh another message here from Paul saying we need to have a retro section in the megastore. Uh yeah, generate income from nostalgia, like he says. Wednesday fans love a bit of nostalgia. It's to be honest, it's all we've got a lot of the time. Um you know, for a large, large chunk of the fan base, looking looking back is you know, is all that you know we can really really remember. Because you know, good times in the modern era have been few and far between. So yeah, I agree. Like and by all accounts, chatting to a few people arise are definitely looking to pull into the nostalgia. We've seen it with the badge, we've seen it with what's happening with Umbro. I think there's going to be a lot of that nostalgia draw, and and rightly so, because you know, it's it's definitely something that works with with Cheffy Wednesday fans. I think it works every every club, but I think at Wednesday in particular, you see the amount of retro football shirts around these days. Um yeah, uh yeah, I think that's something they're they're gonna be utilising. Questionnaire about Kaelin Cadamari back on loan next year. He's still like 15. Like he's he's I I don't think I don't look Kalen's had a brilliant season at Man City since he left Wednesday. He's scoring loads of goals as you as you'd expect, but I'm not sure he's ready for first team football yet. Um be interesting to see what happens with him. Um obviously there's more money out to Wednesday, depends on how he how he does as well. So it'll be uh but wish him all the best. Kalen's a he's a great kid and he's he's very, very talented. But yeah, I'm not sure uh not sure League One football is what he uh what he needs just yet. Um question from Tom saying in a hypothetical sense, do we have an individual transfer fee cap per player, or do the EFL have to sign off transfers which include a fee? Um as far as I know, that they are working within this business plan. They are allowed to spend transfer fees, but it's not a case of you can spend X and that is it. Um, you know, the the seven million uh a year, seven grand a week could. Those wage caps are gone. So that that that's not something they have to worry about now either. Um, but yeah, no, I don't think it's a case of like you have to, you know, it's not a per fee, you know, per player fee that is pre-agreed upon. So I think it's just a case of uh waiting and see what's uh what happens in that sense. Um face punch, face punch, 007 Minecraft, great name by the way. Um, do you reckon we'll be better off, worse off, uh, or probably the same as a club with these new uh rules regarding wages? I think when you're a club of Wednesday's size, the situation when you're allowed to spend X amount of your turnover is actually pretty helpful. Um, obviously, Sheffield Wednesday's turnover is going to be vastly different to a Bromley. Uh so what they'll be allowed to spend is vastly different to a Bromley as well. Um, one thing I do know is that Wednesday aren't allowed to utilize the owner equity top-up, which is something that you know um was also mentioned in the in the press release today. It basically means that the the owner can top up what's uh what's allowed, and a portion of that can be attributed elsewhere. Uh Wednesday won't be allowed to do that as per the sort of agreement with you know what happened in the takeover. So um yeah, that that's kind of where we're where we're at on that front. I think there's probably a lot to come out of the rest of this summer in terms of figuring out all that, you know, figuring out where Wednesday are as a as a club in terms of what they're looking to spend. You know, we we don't really know what a Rise want to do yet, but look, don't get me wrong, I I I think they'll spend a bit of money, but I can't imagine we'll be seeing any kind of Birmingham situation where there's you know millions and millions being thrown around all over the place. Um, do you think Baza will come back? I could see it. Um obviously there's a lot of moving parts with that, and you know, everyone knows how much Barry Bannon loves Sheffield Wednesday. How much um Cheffey Wendsey loves Barry Bannon? You know, I I I could definitely see it happening. Since I sort of reported a little while ago that Wednesday were looking into the possibility of bringing him back, I haven't heard anything more concrete, which is why I've not really reported much, because um I do think there's a lot of moving parts. He is contracted at Millwall. Obviously, they missed out on the Premier League. I think it potentially might have been more likely him coming back if they got promoted. But yeah, we'll have to wait on wait and see on that one. I mean, I'd love to have Barry back because I saw what he did in League One last time, and it was a it was a bit of a joke. Um, Alpha Life, get the old 90s legends in with Steve Bracknell for a kit launch. Again, I could see that happening. You know, you utilize what you got, and Wednesday have got some great legends, you know. Steve, Steve from Royal Oak. Uh our Steve is uh he's a he's a Wednesday art as well. So yeah, definitely could see that happening, um, but we'll have to wait and see. Um, question from Brett Oldfield saying, Can I ask how you became ITK? As folks say, um, did you already know people around the club or does it come with a job? Uh it's a lot of phone calls, um, a lot of networking, a lot of badgering people, a lot of getting ignored. Um, yeah, I mean, I've been in the industry a long time. You know, I've been I've been a journalist for 15, 16 years now. Um, in you know, worked in two different countries, and there is a little bit of overlap with the people you speak to, with, you know, like I say, spend a lot of time on the phone with people at clubs, people at agencies, you know, sometimes get to chat to players as well. And there's a there's a lot of uh, like I say, a lot of unrequit unrequited messages that go uh that go around, get like I say, it get ignored a lot. And you know, a big big part of this job is is getting blanked by people, but you kind of just keep uh keep plugging away and and hopefully your work speaks for itself. And you know, if if you create a good reputation for yourself, you become trustworthy, you become fair, um, or or known as a fair person, then you know that's uh that's a really good place to be in. Um what else have we got here? Um any updates with Charles? Um, yeah, it's from Reese McMillan. I've completely forgot about that. Um did a story earlier in this week that Wednesday were in in discussions with Pierce about new contracts. He does have a year left on his deal. So, you know, the he's he's if he does go this summer, he'll be going for a fee. Um, Wednesday are desperate to try and get something done to time down a long a longer term contract. Now, I know Pierce loves it at Wednesday, I know Pierce's family love it at Wednesday. Obviously, his brother shared a great time at Hillsborough as well. So I don't I don't think it's a definite no, but I do wonder if if Pierce Charles is a player that will be playing in League One next season. You know, we've all seen what Pierce is capable of. He's a he's an incredibly, incredibly good footballer, um, great goalkeeper. And um, I think Wednesday gonna have the work cut out with with keeping hold of him. Uh fingers crossed, because I'd love to see him stay in a Wednesday shirt for a little bit longer, but yeah, it could be uh it could be a tough sell given uh given the situation. I think losing, you know, getting back to zero points for the start of next season definitely helps. That's something that that works in Wednesday's favour. So that's uh you know, that's a big bonus. But yeah, uh with Pierce, I think that we the the conversations will continue, but I also imagine there'll be uh a few conversations had from other clubs as they come knocking on the door as well. Um, what else we got? Um do you know what works are being done to the stadium? Um sorry if you already said that, it's from Joshua Batters Bay. Um, no, not in great detail yet. That's again something I'll be looking at looking into in the next few days. Hopefully get a little bit more detail on the exact exact things that are that are being done to Hillsborough. I know they've taken some signage down that you know, obviously, I'm sure they'll be um doing some work to the pitch this this summer, although it won't need as much work as it has done in the past because uh the job that the guys, the groundskeepers did this season has been uh been unbelievable. Um, I don't think I've ever seen Hillsborough look as good as it did the other day. Um at this time of year, it's usually pretty worn out by now. So yeah, there's there'll there'll be that sort of stuff done, but I know that world-class Wi-Fi, which as a journalist is a is a massive plus because the Wi-Fi for years has been absolutely bobbins. So yeah, that would be really nice having working Wi-Fi at Ellsborough. But yeah, work Wi-Fi, hot water, you know, all the things that David Stoich said, they are things that they're working on. So, you know, that's it's all positive stuff, you know, little little baby steps as we uh uh as we as we say. Uh Harvey Walters there saying, uh, been in the industry 15, 16 years, don't look a day over 21. I'll send you, I'll send you your check in the post afterwards, mate. Um Rusty Rood saying must admit the season ticket prices were a little underwhelming. Understand they need a budget, but thought it could have been cheaper. Yeah, you're probably right, mate. That they they maybe could have gone cheaper. Um, but I think there's also it's it's also relative to to the current economy as well. Um, I think like you like I said earlier, there will be people that think it could have been more expensive in terms of what they could have got got away with um and that the price are fine. There's also people who think it should have been cheaper. So yeah, you you as as someone else mentioned earlier, you're not going to please everyone. I think the general the general tone of everybody's opinion has been it's it's alright. And I think that's uh that's not a bad uh a bad place to be. Um what part of Hillsborough is getting safe standing? So that's over by the T1 end. Um so around there by the away end. Um there's a little bit more on the Wednesday website about that. Or um the guys over at the star did a nice piece on that earlier as well, if you want to go check that out. Um hi Joe, sorry if you've covered this. What's with the away stand this season? As far as I know, it's the same. I think there was just like a bit of a when when the season ticket went tickets went on sale, there was a bit of a crossover um with the the map that came up. So I don't think that you know there's there's anything going on there. Um there's anything untoward. Um, but yeah, we will uh we'll we'll see what happens with with that away end, because obviously it's got a um a difficult past. So it's gonna be interesting to see what a Rise do with that in the in the longer term. Um B3 Mappo saying another positive day being a Wednesday fan. Yeah, it's getting a bit weird, isn't it? It doesn't feel like our club. Um we've had we've had some tough days recently um for a few years. So yeah, it's nice to see good news and good news and good news. And um yeah, uh that's gonna be hopefully the way that things go from now on. We uh we can hopefully start to look forward to just being a normal football club with normal things happening. Um I think that's about it. Um heard the rumour that Messi is creating a team to play a friendly against our 21s. Yep, they'll definitely true, definitely true. Um, I've actually heard he's just pying off the World Cup entirely so he can come and play at Middle Road. So you heard it here first. Make sure you uh go get your tickets for that. Everybody, thank you so much for joining. It's been an absolute pleasure. Um, if you have got any more questions, you can send them through. If you're uh subscribe on the Wednesday Word, you can get me directly on there. Um, if not, send me a message on Twitter and I'll see what I can do. Um, but yeah, thanks for joining. And if you've got anything you want doing on the Wednesday Word, any articles you want writing, any people you want interviewing, please get in touch and I'll see what I can do. Um, but that's me. I'll see you next time. Cheers
