New episode of the Just Clownin' Podcast is live: The Hotbox.

The boys go head-to-head in Round 2 of Fun Box! This time, it's Ray's turn to put his movie knowledge to the test and rack up some points.

Sean also attempts a drunken breakdown of this week's movie for Movie TalkThe Furious—while Ray does what Ray does best: interjects with an endless barrage of jokes.

Ray then unleashes a fart so catastrophic it nearly wipes Sean off the face of the Earth, naturally leading to yet another round of poop stories.

Meanwhile, Sean continues using his own body as a science experiment. At this point, the man genuinely has no idea how to take care of himself... and frankly, we're starting to get concerned.

It's a long episode. Whether it's good or not? That's completely subjective.

You already know what it is.

It's the Just Clownin' Podcast, baby.

SPEAKER_01

Hello everybody. Welcome back to the Just Clown and Podcast with Sean Boulevier, Raymond Coss, coming to you once again from my bedroom. It is July 12th, 1124 p.m. This is a late night recording because fucking we both are working men now, dude. Sean, introduce yourself.

SPEAKER_04

Well, everyone knows I'm Sean Bouvier, and yes, we are live in Raymond's bedroom, and Raymond's totally correct. We are working men. Both Ray and I work Tuesday to Sunday this week coming up. So we decided like today is uh the only day, once again, to get this done. So it's uh it's a little bit later than it was last time, but we're getting it done uh for your you know listening pleasure.

SPEAKER_01

I would like to correct uh I do work Tuesday to Sunday this coming week. I also just worked Tuesday to Sunday this past week. So I'm coming off a six-day working binge here. I need I need some brewski's and I need some giggles because I've been surrounded by illiterates. Swear to God, dude. K. So I got ititerates or degenerates? No, illiterates. I have to tell this story. So the kid, it was it was I think it was yesterday at work, yesterday or the day before, whatever. So we have a jukebox at work, and it's it's pretty new. Like it's a brand new jukebox, so like it's got all the new music on it and shit. And uh so there's a bunch of people in there gambling at the VLTs, and there's this lady gambling there. She comes in all the time, she's in a wheelchair, she's missing a leg. She's still fatter than me. She's missing a limb, she still weighs more than me. Crazy. Um, and uh so there she's gambling at the VLTs, and uh she's with this guy who like um his pupils don't look correct. I don't know if he was blind in one eye, I don't know what was going on with this dude, but he had a fucked up left eye, and I was like, whatever. But so he she they're like, play some music, and he's like, Okay, what do you want to hear? And she's like, play Drake knife talk, and I was like, if that isn't the the joke, doesn't write itself, dude. These people are asking for the Drake song that is it's called Knife Talk, dude, where I'm working like I don't know. I was like, Jesus Christ, dude. You guys need to tone it down a little bit, and then I swear to fucking god, this guy at the jukebox goes, How do you spell Drake?

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

And I was like, I was like, I was sitting at the bar and I'm like, he's not talking to me. I'm not his friend, so I'm not answering him. Yeah. And his friends don't answer him, so he looks at me and goes, Hey, how do you spell Drake? And I'm like, in my brain, I'm like, fuck, and I go, D R A K Eee, this dude. There they're uh pretty sure uh half the people that come in there are don't know how to spell, don't know how to read. Yeah, well it's McLaren Hotel, man.

SPEAKER_04

Fucking knife talk. Like, yeah, whatever, dude. That's that's oxymoronic. How many people have gotten stabbed in that general area and they want to hear a song called The Knife?

SPEAKER_01

I think it's I think it's just ironic in general, not oxymoronic, because oxymoronic means like an opposite. Oh, right. I think it's just ironic because it's like you motherfuckers, everybody be stabbing everybody around here. Whatever, it's fine, it's a shitty ass job. Erica texted me today when she picked me up. She said, Hey man, you're she well actually she texted me, she said, Hey, I had to move my car, I parked way down the street, I got scared. I said, Okay, and then two messages down, it said, I think you're really brave for working here. And then the message after that said, if you want to quit, I'm okay with it. And I was like, I was like, nah, I think I'm good because like, dude, yesterday I made eighty-five dollars in tips. Ooh. Yeah, like in one day. So I almost made like I made I made like half my wage from a day. That's probably more.

SPEAKER_04

That's daily. So like Erica says you're very brave for working there. Do you think she sees you in a whole new light now? Like, do you think she like you like she views you as more attractive because like of not all of your bravery working in an establishment like this?

SPEAKER_01

Not even close. Not even close. Not even close. What? Not even close. Erica came in there today for the first time. She was uh uh I was at work and I was like, man, I'm fucking hungry. And I've been eating bun wages at work all week with the same lunch meat, and I was like, bruh, really don't want to eat this today. Erica was out doing shit. She brought me McDonald's, yeah, and she brought it, and I went outside to grab it because I was like, she definitely doesn't want to come inside past all the fucking jib heads at the front door. Oh, dude, I wouldn't want to lie. Yeah, so so I go outside to meet her and she's like, No, I want to see what it looks like inside. So she comes inside and she's like, Not as bad as I thought. I'm like, yeah, I mean it's the bar, it's not crazy, but like it's also fucking just it's the it's the environment. Yeah. It's the environment, it's the where it is, it's the location. Yeah. Yeah, anyway. Um how was uh how was your work week? My work sorry, keep going.

SPEAKER_04

No, sorry. Uh my work week was um I don't know, it was okay. We had a catering event on uh Tuesday, uh way out in uh La Brokery, and um motherfuckers were greedy, man. So like we had like uh a set amount of things that they ordered, right? Like a big rich dude ordered like a bunch of foods, like five fucking full-on briskets. We had like a bunch of Wake U sliders, we had like uh ro uh romaine, um like Caesar salads, and we had like garlic roasted uh Brussels, um, a bunch of other shit. And like people were coming up for seconds and thirds and fourths before fucking other people even like got to get their first fucking plates. So we rounded a brisket pretty quickly. Like uh I it was kind of a gong show. Nobody like there was like no numbered tables, so people it was a freak-for-all essentially. So people were just like slamming back their fucking brisket and then coming up for seconds and thirds, and there were people that didn't even get their first plate, so people were getting pissed because by the time they went and got their food, there was no fucking brisket left. So it was kind of a gong show. Um, we're still getting we're still waiting to get paid for that. Um it was also a really hot day, and I was sweating bullets. We were outside in a tent, it was an outdoor catering event. Um that was my Tuesday. It was pretty pretty wild. Also, like we got to drink for free a little bit there, so like uh we were having some brewski's afterwards with some like random country folk, and uh yeah, and then we drove back to Winnipeg, we're kind of half cut, and we unloaded the the U-Haul, and that was Tuesday.

SPEAKER_01

Sounds professional, dude. Sounds super professional. Sounds crazy professional. You would think you would think when you're doing a catering event like that, you would be you would be able to say, Hey, you can't eat until everybody you can't have more until everybody else is eaten. Like it's like what it's like, I don't know how like how does it work? So is it it's a catering event, this table comes up and grabs food and then this table and then this table? Is it like a wedding? Or how does it work? Everybody grabs who whenever they want. Because if if if if it's everybody grabs who whenever they want, and then certain people don't grab food and then they complain later that there's no brisket, that's on you, you fucking idiot. Yeah, like how well you have to explain to me how it was how it was operated. Well, like uh, like I said, it was a free-for-all. Oh, so it was a free-for-all. Then fuck them, then shut the fuck up. If they're out of a brisket, that's on you. That is the it's if if it's a free-for-all, then you're able to come up and get food just when everybody else is. You didn't come up when there was brisket, that's not my problem. Yeah. Okay, yeah, then fuck them. Who cares?

SPEAKER_04

But then also at the same time, it's like uh how inconsiderate can somebody be like knowing that people haven't even eaten yet, and then they slam back the brisket and then go up for like not just seconds, but thirds. There is one woman in general, a big set woman, who came up for thirds before fucking anybody else had any brisket.

SPEAKER_01

And you know what? The first come, first serve. That's fair game. I mean, yeah, fair game. Fair game, especially if everybody because you know what? Where people people were drinking there, obviously. Oh, yeah. So people were getting fucked up, and then they got drunk, and then they wanted brisket, and there's no brisket left, and fucking who? Suck a fucking dick, you loser. That's what happens when you get when you want to prioritize drinking over eating delicious brisket.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I see your point. I see your point. Like that woman understood the assignment and she took advantage of it. Maybe she was smarter than the rest of them, maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she took advantage of the situation. It was it like, I mean, if the brisket was like included with the venue, then I'm eating as much fucking brisket as I can. Oh, hell yeah. But you know how expensive brisket is when you go to a barbecue place? Yeah. It's very expensive. Yeah, it is very expensive. Have you ever been to the any barbecue places in the city?

SPEAKER_04

Uh I went to uh well, l local, locale, or the whole. It's not a barbecue place.

SPEAKER_03

It's not a barbecue place, but still it's pretty, pretty good, pretty spanky.

SPEAKER_01

It's pretty deadly. Okay, so I asked you if you want to do a barbecue place. He said, No, I went to this one bar restaurant. So that's a that's a no. No, no, yeah. There's only like a couple in the city. There's, I don't know if it's there, there's not one open in Marion anymore, but there was one called Lovey's Barbecue. I think they're still maybe have uh they're they do like catering or something out of Regent. And then there's obviously Famous Days, but that's like fucking like Montana style barbecue. And then a new one just opened on uh Nair and I forget what it's called. Um fuck, it's it was literally two blocks away from my work, and they have like live music on Fridays, but it's just a barbecue place. So it's it's so it's brisket, it's sausages, it's pulled pork, it's smoked chicken, and then sides. Ooh. And it's some of the best oh, and ribs, and some of the best ribs pulled pork brisket I've ever had. It's so good. But again, you go there and a plate is $40. Oh shit. The $40 plate because it's all it's all meat, and yeah, it's expensive. Barbecue is super expensive. So that's why it's like I understand. I I get where the fat bitch is coming from from the from the catering event. I get where she's coming from. You gotta get the brisket when you can. That shit's expensive, bro. Yeah, especially if that shit's free. Uh it's good, I'm eating all the brisket I can.

SPEAKER_04

I was expecting the Wagyu to fucking like fly off of fucking the thing more than the brisket, because like how often do people get to eat Wagyu beef, you know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. You say you say wag wagyu funny. Yeah, wagyu. Yeah, you say it funny. I do? Yeah, I just say wagyu like everybody else. I just say wagyu. Yeah. Wagyu. You're like really enunciating the why of the wagon. Yeah, I really am. I don't know. Maybe you're like it's from watching all the anime or something. It could be the Japanese. I don't know. But I don't I I'm just gonna say right now, I don't like it. Okay, I'll say Wagyu now. Don't like it. Again, we're gonna just keep saying Wagyu to fucking rage beat you. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I that's fair to be honest, but um, yeah. Um uh yeah, what else? Uh because I mean that was that seems like a pretty, pretty alright work week. To be honest, my work week was pretty boring, mostly just kicking out methods. Lots of people, this there's this one lady that comes in, and she like lots of people, so it's funny because like I guess maybe like you you've never been there, but like lots people in that place walk in like this. Like they don't, like nobody has a proper gate. I've never seen anybody walk into that place with a normal strut.

SPEAKER_04

It's like they're about to do the fent lean, but like they're like struggling to like not do the fentany.

SPEAKER_01

Or they're just like crippled in some way or handicapped. This guy came in the other day. This guy came in the other day, literally, swear to god he was retarded. Don't the d the the guy came in, he was like, he came up to the bar and he's he's walking, he's walking like crazy. Like he's walking like he's got like cerebral palsy or something. He's walking fucking insane. And he comes up to the bar and he tries, or he's ordering a drink, and in my brain, I'm calculating, I'm like, am I legally allowed to serve this retard? And like he's like, he comes up, swear to god, dude, he goes, he goes, ooh. I go, what? Boo! I go, what? I can't, I don't want to know you're saying boo. You want a beer? Boo. Oh, you're saying blue. We don't have blue. That dude was speaking fucking chromagnoid. Dude, dude. And like, and like, you know what the craziest thing? Blue is the easiest name of beer to pronounce.

SPEAKER_04

It's also one of the easiest words to pronounce.

SPEAKER_01

So so so after after I don't have blue, I'm like, how am I gonna know what this guy wants? Boo. I'm like, and then I'm like, we don't have that. And then I'm like, I just I'm like, I just gotta start naming beers. So I'm like, Coke any. And he's like, shakes his head, yes. I give him and his I give him uh beer, he pays for them, he drinks the beer, and then he leaves, and I'm like, thank fucking god, dude. That could have been a lawsuit. What the fuck? You can't even speak to me. You know what's also crazy? I start I'm starting to lose my humanity, dude, because like I said today, you're losing your humanity, yeah. Because it was 48 degrees out today, and people are coming in like this. They're coming in being like, hey man, can you just fill up my water, please? And I say, no, get out.

SPEAKER_04

Oh God, you're like a dictator.

SPEAKER_01

I said, get out, get out. Water's for paying customers, play the VLTs or buy a drink, I'll give you water. Really the Kim Jong-un of goddamn McClendon. When I get in that bar, dude, I don't give a fuck if you're fucking slouching around, if you're coming in. This is what people do. They'll come in and they'll come in and their friend is gambling, and then they'll just stand there. And guess what? Get out of the bar. Yeah. I go up to them, I say, leave. This guy came up, uh, this guy was sitting sitting down today, sitting down with his friend in all black with a fucking with a with a fucking uh shisty on, and uh they're sitting down not gambling. I go up to them, I say, hey man, you gotta leave if you're not buying anything. Okay, man, you could be fucking nice. I'm like, get out, dude. Just go, get out, you're not allowed in here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, fuck you.

SPEAKER_01

You can be nice, you fucking faggot. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, alright, dude. Get the fuck out now. Like, don't come back today. That's what I've been telling people all day today, because like people were pissing me off today, probably because of the heat. I was like, I was like, leave and don't come back for the rest of the day. I don't want to see you in here again today. Get out.

SPEAKER_04

So you're like me. You get gr do you get grumpy when you get hot?

SPEAKER_01

Nah, sometimes, but I really wasn't hot today. It was just I just wasn't taking any bullshit today. Because it was like, I know that it's so hot outside that these people are gonna be extra aggravated that I was like, I'm not taking any bullshit today. Get the fuck out. Just get the fuck out. And also it's like where I was so so I'm the only one on the bar who works there, so I'm basically the only one kicking them out. But if if if I if I encounter resistance, the guy from the vendor will come out from the vendor and be like, and come up behind them because the vendor's behind them and be like, hey man, get out. Now there's a guy in front of them and a guy behind them, and both telling them to get out, and then they're usually like, okay, I'll leave. And then the guy left and he's like, I'm gonna fucking come back here with a shotgun. Fucking shoot you guys. And my buddy from the vendor was like, You'll go to jail.

SPEAKER_04

You ain't wrong, you ain't fucking wrong. You'll go to jail. I was like, Yeah, I mean, fair. Is that what you want? You want to go to jail? Fair. I mean, he probably does want to go to fucking jail.

SPEAKER_01

There's fucking AC in jail, there's fucking three meals a day in jail, he's got a bed. Yeah. Yesterday while I was getting off work, this guy, so I got up early at 3 p.m. I was supposed to go up at 5. The guy who was supposed to who relieved me came in and he was like, hey man, I just I'm kind of bored, so I'm just gonna start working. I still got paid till five. Yeah. But he's like, I just want I just want to start working. So he came in and like he took over, and I went to go cash out the VLT tickets because you got I gotta do that before I do a shift change. And as I'm walking back in, he's behind the bar and he's going, Fuck you, bitch. Why don't you get the fuck out? And I'm like, and this he's also 74 years old. And I'm like, I'm like, I'm I'm walking back to the bar. And this is also it's so normal to me at this point. Didn't even react. Walked behind the bar and said, What did I miss? Tony said, That that that that that that bitch is being disr. That bitch is being rude. Kick her out right now. I had money in my hand. I said, Let me just put in the tilt, Tony, I'll kick her out. I said, Which one? He said, The girl on the red backpack. I look over, it's a woman in a wheelchair. I gotta go up to this woman in a wheelchair and I gotta go, excuse me, you gotta leave. And she says, Okay. And then she doesn't move, and I say, get out now. Why didn't you just wheel her out of there? Like, straw. That's like that's like a big that's like a I've already I think I've already learned not like not from experience, but I think I've already learned mentally the big thing is don't touch people. Yeah, that that will only escalate things further.

SPEAKER_03

That's true, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Don't touch people. If anything, what I'll do, could people fall asleep with the VLTs look, they're all fucked up on meth. I'll uh I'll go up to them if they're falling asleep and I'll smack the chair and I'll say, get up, get out. Yeah, yeah, that's that's no, yeah, that's fair enough. But whatever, dude. I made 44 dollars in tips today. Man, and I sold 31 beers. Oh.

SPEAKER_04

It it blows my mind how like fucking like you're making so much tips at the McLaren Hotel. Like it's just like just like meth heads and poor people.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so how it works is people, there's eight VLT machines there. If people win money, they tip the bartender. Same thing. Have you ever been at a casino or seen in a movie? You win a lot at a casino, you always tip the dealer.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You play in a card game, you always tip the dealer. Same thing at a bar. Whenever people win big at VLT machines, they always tip the bartender. It's just how it goes.

SPEAKER_04

Where I work, like we work at a place where like people with fucking money go to, and for some reason, these people, like our clientele, they don't tip very well. So right now I'm kind of just like flabbergasted, and I'm kind of respecting these, these, these, the, the, the, the, the, the tipping, the camaraderie, the etiquette of these of these homeless people and these methods. Well, if they understand the tipping etiquette better than these goddamn rich folks. Like, what the fuck is going on?

SPEAKER_01

I think you have a tiny bit backwards. So there's a difference between the homeless people and the rich people, right? Yeah. The rich people are still rich. Yeah. The homeless people are still homeless. Yeah. Because they give their money away, like, they don't give a fuck about it. The rich people don't tip. They keep all their money, they're still rich. Yeah. Homeless people are just like, they're so carefree with their money because they're like, who cares, dude? I'm just gonna go bum more, or I'm just gonna get another fucking check in two days. Like, there was this guy the other day who came in, actually was unnerving me a little bit at work. Like, he was kind of kind of startling, putting me on putting me on edge for sure. Because he kept coming up to the bar and like put making guns, gun uh shapes with his hand, and then pulling the trigger at me. And I was like, okay, like seems aggressive. He was buying everybody in the bar drinks. He seemed like a nice guy. He was calling himself Stash of Claus. Oh, also, he rapped a like two and a half minute verse at me that he wrote. It was good, but there was music playing, I couldn't really hear him. So I'm kind of just like I'm kind of just like looking at him, like being like, Yeah, dude. I'm like nodding, I'm like, yeah, that's sick, bro. Like, sick verse. He was talking about like JJ Harper, somebody who was assassinated. Like, it was insane. But at a certain point in the in the day, he walked up to me and he had a $20 bill in his hand, and he just gave it to me. He said, That's for you. That's it lit. I said, Thanks, man. That's actually pretty lit. Yeah, so like people there are crazy, but like I get insane tips. It's it's it's like it's it's like the the the the the fear almost out or the the money outweighs the fear. The money outweighs the fear. That is Ooh, is that the name of the episode? Money outweighs fear. That's pretty good. That's a pretty good idea. I do like that. I like that too. Okay, um fun box.

SPEAKER_04

We'll do fun box. Also, I want to let the audience know that uh we are not doing dragon talk today. Oh, yeah. Um, because well, it's a little bit late and we kind of wanted to get the pod rolling.

SPEAKER_01

And um and we're gonna and we're doing a movie today. And we're also doing a movie today. So I think in the future next week or whenever this episode comes out, whenever like whenever you guys are listening, the next week, we'll probably get we'll do Dragon Talk, but it will probably be condensed because it seems like we're gonna probably do a movie a week at this point until that starts to fizzle out and then we just change shit up. But for now, you guys will be fine. You guys will be fine.

SPEAKER_04

Or we could do fun box, dragon talk, and then movie talk. But like three things.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but how I mean we could do that next week, yeah, for sure. Yeah, next week. No, no, not last week. No, no, that's what I mean. Yeah, we'll we'll do we'll do Dragon Talk next week, but it will probably be sorry, I didn't get to that. It'll probably be condensed, it probably won't be as long as it usually is. Yeah, not a whole breakdown of the episode, just you know, just our general thoughts. This was gay, this was cool.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and maybe crack some jokes about the show?

SPEAKER_01

Unlikely. Dude, we're two of the unfunniest people I've ever met.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know about that. I think you're pretty fucking funny. Pretty fucking hilarious, my friend. But you know what? We gotta do something here, which uh we haven't done yet. Cocksuck? We haven't cheersed, motherfucker. We're saving the cocksucking before we get the camera.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, that's what you said. You slept here last week, motherfucker. You slept with my cock in your mouth. Cheers, brother. Cheers.

SPEAKER_04

Did you watch the UFC last night? I did not watch UFC last night, but I walk I woke up and I immediately like went and watched like clips of it. Fucking fuck Connor McGregor, dude. Okay, what a washed up piece of fucking shit, rapist, man. Fuck that guy, dude.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think they were just trying UFC was trying to sell another McGregor card and they probably made so much money.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they they probably did. I know I know like um like McGregor like made $15 million easily. Like, I don't know, I know um Holloway also made like millions of dollars as well just for like entering the octagon.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, exactly. Like they probably made so much money and like kind of shitty. No, hold up, hold up, I got a call. Patty Pemblo fight was crazy though. Corpse queve. Jump in the funbox, Mr. Host. Mr. Host, I am ready to play.

SPEAKER_04

Alright. I have five movies lined up for Raymond right now.

SPEAKER_01

And the the theme is animated movies. Alright. I'm excited. I uh yeah, I mean, I think I've watched some animated. Yeah. I think I've seen a couple animated feature films.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, you have, yes, you have. Let's see. Alright. Okay. And if you want, we can jump right in. You can do the first one. And I also like, I made sure these are animated movies that you've watched. And also, and I told you earlier they're not anime. They're not anime.

SPEAKER_01

If you would have done anime movies, I would have probably not got I would have done, I would have guessed like this. I would have been like Princess Mononoke. Princess Monanoke.

SPEAKER_04

Spear it away. Speared it away.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would have, I would have tried to pull that one. What's another one that's fucking studio Ghibli or whatever it's called? Oh, boy and the Heron. It was like, I've only I've I've maybe seen a maybe three anime movies. I've seen a couple series, but bro, if you did anime movies, I would have been like, okay, dude, it's called a wash, dude. You're really, you're really playing hard right now.

SPEAKER_04

Fuck yeah. I made sure that these are one hybrid set movies that you have seen. Yeah, yeah, of course. I had to. All right. So, clue number one for five points. Corporate HR failed everyone involved. Monsters and read it one more time. Corporate HR failed everyone involved. Wreck it, Ralph.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Ding ding! First cast! First cast! Oh, bro, you're on fire! That's five points!

SPEAKER_01

Let's go! Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Motherfucker, you're on fire right off the gate. Fire, fire, fire, fire, fire. Oh man.

SPEAKER_01

Fire, fire, fire, fire, fire. Okay. Okay, hold on. Read some of the other clues you have, though, because that's the thing. Every time I uh develop the game, if you get it too early, I'm like, dude, I took time finding these clues. Let me read a couple of them.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Yeah, read some of them. Clue number two for you. This movie believes root beer is a personality trait. That's a pretty good one. Clue number three was Disney accidentally made a movie about imposter syndrome. That's a good clue. That's a very good clue. Clue number four was a support group meeting has a higher budget than some entire films. Yeah, that's pretty good. Pretty good. Clue number five was one medal causes more collateral damage than most supervillains.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and that's like the easiest one of the bunch. So that's perfect. Belly. Alright, are you ready for movie number two? Movie number two. Give it to me, Daddy. Give it to me. Give it to me. Give it to me.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, clue number one for five points. If you do get this one, but you beat me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, dude. We're on the official run.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Alright, clue number one for movie number two is this. Kevin Spacey being the villain somehow wasn't the biggest red flag.

SPEAKER_01

Kevin Spacey. Bug's life. Oh my god. Ding ding ding. That's hopper, bro. That's hopper. Oh my god. That's hopper, bro. That's hopper.

SPEAKER_04

I shouldn't have made that in the fucking first one.

SPEAKER_01

You also, also, when when like when like so I texted you just to just because I just wanted to like ease my brain into what the category was gonna be, and you said anime movies, and I said, I think you made it too easy. Because there's like anime movies, like I don't know if you know this. Love animals. I know you do. Love animals. Oh my god. I'm a I'm a child at heart. I know you are.

SPEAKER_04

You and I are watching animated movies together like quite a bit.

SPEAKER_01

You know what's funny? You're every time I hang out with you, you're like, yo, Jill, let's watch Inglorious Bastards, and every time I hang out with you, I'm like, yo, let's watch fucking Toy Stories.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, that's so accurate, though.

SPEAKER_04

That's so accurate. Oh my god, you want to hear the other clues? I do, of course. Okay, fuck me, man. Okay, so clue number two was this movie has surprisingly strong union energy. Okay. I like it. Clue number three was every problem would have been solved if one guy just admitted he messed up. Clue number four was the circus performers are somehow the most employable people here.

SPEAKER_01

Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Dude, the circus performers are that honest Bugs Life, my favorite Pixar movie. I think it's close.

SPEAKER_04

It's also a remake of seven samurai.

SPEAKER_01

Shut the fuck up with your samurai shit. Tell me the next clue. Every fucking movie is a remake. Every fucking movie with you is a remake of a fucking samurai.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, okay. So clue number five was a single seed has the biggest character arc.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, hell yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Hell yeah. Hell yeah.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, brother. I'm on a fucking roll here, dude. I'm on a fucking roll ski. Okay, this is gonna be a good one. I gotta keep this, keep the flaming passion in my heart burning.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, clue number one. You might get this right away.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it hold on, look through your other clues. Maybe if one of the other ones harder, rearrange, rearrange. That's what I was doing like even last week, because I was like, some of them I was trying to rearrange to like how difficult the hardest, but like even the doing one last week, I was like, every single one of these I feel like you would have got on the first try. Like it's okay.

SPEAKER_04

So are you ready for clue number one of movie number three? Oh, I'm fucking ready. Alright, clue number one. Everyone in this universe needs a shower. Everyone in this universe needs a shower. Dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, gross.

SPEAKER_01

Fucking dirty. Gross, dirty, bug. Oh, we did bug his life. Not bug his life. Um, fuck. Cars? Wrong, brother. Okay, okay. Two more guesses, two more. Um, everybody in this Wally! Wrong again. Fuck. Um, let's go.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know, dude. I actually have no idea. Next clue.

SPEAKER_04

Next question. Next clue, brother. All right, next clue. Somehow both anti-Disney and incredibly Disney.

SPEAKER_03

That is clue number two for four points.

SPEAKER_01

Anti-Disney, incredibly Disney. And I was like, I the I know that's I know you didn't mean to enunciate, and I know that's not part of the clue. I just want to say the incredibles, though, because you said incredible in there, but I know it's not the incredibles. Because incredibles is yeah, yeah. That's not the answer, though, right? Obviously. That's not the answer. Sorry, read it one more time for me, please.

SPEAKER_04

Somehow both anti-Disney and incredibly Disney.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, damn, these are good clues. Damn.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_01

I got no idea, bro. Next clue, man. Next clue.

SPEAKER_04

I don't even have any guesses, dude. The soundtrack has more classics than some people's playlists.

SPEAKER_01

Ooh, okay, okay. That's a good clue. Because now it narrows it down to it's like a it's like a song movie. Yeah. Um, um shit, Lion King? Okay, hold on. Singing shit, singing shits, singing shit. Um, Hercules. Give me another clue, dude. I don't even know, man. Oh, alright.

SPEAKER_04

Here's clue number four. Two points. This movie won the culture war in 2001.

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit, 2001? Animated? Yeah. Oh, golly gee. That didn't help at all. That made me more confused. I know. That made me way more confused.

SPEAKER_04

This is good. This is good. I'm liking this right now.

SPEAKER_01

It's a song movie. Can you read the first clue again, please?

SPEAKER_04

The first clue again was everyone in this universe desperately needs a shovel. Pocahontas.

SPEAKER_01

Damn it. That was the Pocahontas though, because they're all dirty.

SPEAKER_00

Don't say it. Don't say it.

SPEAKER_01

Don't say it. Don't say it. What do you mean, though? What do you mean? I was just saying they're all dirty. Yeah, they're all dirty people. Yeah, people. I think we're gonna have to go to one point, dude. I have no idea. Also, I gotta have to piss over this.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, worry, kids is the last question, and you're probably gonna get out of this one. I hope so. Smash Mouth deserves partial writing credit.

SPEAKER_01

God damn it, it's fucking Shrek.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_01

God damn it, it's Shrek. Damn it, it's Shrek, brother. Wow, it's fucking Shrek. Wow, that was good. That was good. You fucking killed. That was good. I got pissed so bad though. All right, brother. That was like the perfect last clue. Yeah. That song is I was synonymous with that movie.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, okay, like that. That was actually Brittany. That's clue number one. I was like, I can't fucking do that.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not giving you very smart of you, bro.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not giving you 15 points right off the bat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, dude. I think you re- I think you did your clues in the wrong order. I think you put easy as first. I definitely did. Okay, we'll change it for the for your for your next. Oh, I got this, so you gotta hold this down.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I'll hold it down, hold it down. Woo-hoo, Shrek. Oh my god, this guy's tearing his whole room apart. Guy goes to take a piss and fucking takes the whole whole door down with him.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, Ray is back. I'm gonna let you know a little secret though. So you you may have picked the word like I did bat. I should have got that last one because we just watched Shrek. We just showed it to my son recently. Yeah, where and because like so my son's at the age, well he's he's really not at the age now, he's three, but still we we've addicted him to screens already, so he loves a good loves a good TV. We've already previously talked about how like uh he watches like a Harlan Williams TV show.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, you're like yeah, you're telling me that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was it was on episode like 10 or something. Episode 11. Uh yeah, whatever. Anyway, um, so uh no, so recently I went through because I was trying to find movies to watch with the boy, and I went through every animated studio's Wikipedia page and looked at every movie they've released. So like I got most of them up here. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

Fuck me. Yeah. Damn, okay. I'm gonna make it harder fucking next time. Next time.

SPEAKER_01

What do you mean? You can't just do you can't just make it increasingly harder every time because I'm doing better than you. You're you picked this shit category. That's on you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, fair enough. Are you ready for movie number three now, right? I am. Are you are you sure? Are you prepared for this? Movie four, right? It should be four. One, two, three. Yes, this is movie number four. Damn, okay. Movie number four. Clue number one. This movie accidentally motivated millions of people to order takeout. This movie accidentally motivated millions of people to order takeout.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know, Toy Story? Wrong.

unknown

Damn it.

SPEAKER_01

It's oh man. When when I get it wrong, I don't like your responses. Like to laugh at you? You are you are being way too snarky with this for a man who is. I'm already doubling your points. Already doubling your points. You better fucking tone your attitude down there, Buster. Okay, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding. But it is pissing me off. It's getting increasingly more frustrated. It is pissing me off. Don't be snarky.

SPEAKER_05

Don't piss me off, Sean.

SPEAKER_01

Well, fucking laugh at me. It's making me mad, dude. It's making me mad. Okay. Making me back someone in.

SPEAKER_04

Be proud of yourself, man. Come on. This you want me to repeat the question? Yeah, one more time. Okay. This movie accidentally motivated millions of people to order takeout.

SPEAKER_01

Hmm. Takeout, takeout, takeout. I don't know, fucking Wally. Next one, dude. Next one. Alright. I feel like you've actually probably never even seen Wally. I've seen it one time years ago.

SPEAKER_04

It's a great movie.

SPEAKER_01

It's a mid.

SPEAKER_04

Mid?

SPEAKER_03

So emotional. I love it, man.

SPEAKER_01

To each her own. Mid. That's a mid-tier Pixar movie.

SPEAKER_03

Alright, no.

unknown

Fuck!

SPEAKER_02

It won an Oscar.

SPEAKER_01

For what? Music?

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

You know how many Pixar movies have won Oscars? That's not a that's not a huge thing to claim. Oh, won an Oscar. Every Pixar movie that comes out wins a fucking Oscar, dude. What are you talking about? Best animated feature goes to the Pixar movie. What a shit reason to be a good movie.

SPEAKER_04

You're so right. Shakespeare and love won the Oscar over fucking saving your private Ryan and Pulp Fiction. Like, how the fuck does that happen? See? Makes no sense to me. Alright, well, here is clue number two. Inner peace has never looked so sweaty.

SPEAKER_01

Aladdin. Because they're Indian and they find inner peace and they're gross and sweaty. They're always sweaty, but you're also wrong.

unknown

Inner peace.

SPEAKER_01

Mulan.

SPEAKER_04

That's a good guess. It's a very good guess.

SPEAKER_01

It's a good guess, but um, next one. I don't I don't think I have anything for that guess. Inner peace. Go, go. No, here's clue too. Go go. I think I'm I think I got Dylan loses to self-esteem. Kung Fu Panda.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

I had it immediately before you started reading the last one. I said, Oh, it's Kung Fu Panda. And then I said, whatever, I'll just let him read this one.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, man. Again, the next clues were every mentor here desperately needs therapy. And the last clue you definitely would have got if I wrote if I read that too. It's like Jack Black yelling is somehow spiritual.

SPEAKER_01

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it came it came to me. I said, fuck Kung Fu Panda. Kung Fu Panda. Kung Fu Panda. Classic. It's funny because Erica, I was like, Erica, you have any uh because I was like, yeah, whatever, I'll toss it around. I couldn't really think of anything. I might have something in the can. I'm not sure what what we're gonna do next week yet, but I was like, Erica, what movie should we do next week? She's like, maybe like a Jack Black movie. And I said, Kung Fu Panda? I said, never mind. Never mind, baby. No, I mean we're gonna do Kung Fu Panda. I love Kung Fu Panda, but we'll I'll figure it out. I think I think I'm gonna do a movie that you probably haven't seen because you're like, I've seen so many movies, and so many movies have come up come out recently, and you're like, didn't watch it. And I'm like, well, you didn't watch it yet. What's going on?

SPEAKER_04

I fucking like uh I don't know. There's like a lot of new movies that are coming out that I haven't really like they're not. I don't know. It's not catching my eye, really.

SPEAKER_01

Project Hail Mary is a crazy movie to not watch.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, well, I'm gonna definitely be watching that for sure. I'm definitely watching that. I still need to watch it. I can't believe I haven't watched it. Yeah, it's probably it might be next week's movie. I am an idiot for not watching it.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, let us continue here, my man. Let us and tomato continue. Oh, look at that Project Hail Mary book right there. Oh, fuck yeah. Dude, I'm an I'm an avid reader. Yes, you are. This is movie number five voracious. This is movie number five already, I think. Movie number five. Oh my god, dang. Movie number five. All right.

SPEAKER_04

All right, here we go. Clue number one. The score is doing about 80% of the emotional heavy lifting.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Okay. Hmm. Now the question is, is it a movie that is like has a beautiful score, or is it a movie that it has beautiful music in it that is a musical movie? I don't know. No, emotional lifting though, because like I'm gonna say Lion King, but that's that's that's not true because when fucking when Mufasa or Mufasa dies, bro, that shit's emotional.

SPEAKER_04

That shit's emotional. I still cry to this day. Shit's emotional. I cried even when it was uh live action. They call it live action, but it's still fucking just like it. It's still CGI. The live action Lion King. It's just that's all green screen.

SPEAKER_02

It's just national geographics.

SPEAKER_01

The live action lion king is just national geographics. Look at the lions. Um it's not there's always no live emotional score, good score. I'm trying to think of a good score movie. Animated movie with a good score. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, toy story. Damn, that would have been a good one, though. You got a friend in me. You got a friend. Um, next clue, sir.

SPEAKER_04

Next clue is this. Every parent in this movie owes their kid an apology.

SPEAKER_01

Bad parents. The incredibles. Not the incredibles. Can't be the incredibles. He would have said some. Um bad parents, good score. Bad parents, good score. Um I'm also trying to keep it under 30 seconds, too, so it's that we're not like going over, because I think that should maybe we should implement that soon.

SPEAKER_04

Word.

SPEAKER_01

Because it could be fun. Or maybe just three guesses, whatever. Because I mean, we're not trying to like fucking zoom through it, I guess.

SPEAKER_04

I think like three guesses is good.

SPEAKER_01

I think we'll just think of the three guesses. Yeah, yeah, because because then because then even sometimes I'm not even doing all three guesses because I'm like, I don't even got anything. I need the next clue. Just like right now, give me a clue number three for three points, baby. Uh rule number rule.

SPEAKER_04

Clue number three is this. Autism coded kid adopts a flying cat.

SPEAKER_03

Autism coded kid. Alice in Wonderland? Wrong. Autism coded kid adopts a flying cat. Flying cat.

SPEAKER_01

What the fuck? Uh inside out? Wrong again. Flying cat. Where the fuck is there a flying cat in an animated movie? Give me the next clue, bro. I got nothing.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, this is clue number four. DreamWorks peaked when someone drew a dragon blinking.

SPEAKER_01

It's not how it's ring a dragon, is it?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there you go. Yeah, the dragon was immediately when he said DreamWorks, I said, okay, I can do DreamWorks, and he said dragon. I was like, How it's ringing a dragon? Give me the other clues again. I gotta put that all together now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so it was uh clue number one was the score is doing about 80% of the uh is the score in that movie good?

SPEAKER_01

It's actually really fucking phenomenal. Damn, I fuck. I gotta watch it again. That movie kind and the live action one of that one actually kind of rules.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I haven't seen the live act action one yet, but it's really good.

SPEAKER_01

It's scene for scene, the animated one, so like it's almost like what's the fucking point? But it is it does look pretty cool.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it looks really good. Looks really good. Uh what was the other question here? Okay, question number two was the second one was every parent in this movie owes their kid an apology. Yeah, true. Yep, yep, okay. Clue number three was autism-coated kid adopts flying cats.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, now I get it. Now I get it. It was like, what the fuck is a flying cat? And that's why I was like, there's no fucking flying cat.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, the kid has autism for real. Like, come on.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's that's why I guess Alice in Wonderland.

SPEAKER_04

Like the Cheshire cat, dude. Yeah, that's the only flying cat I could think of. That was also a really good guess. That's the only flying cat I could think of. That was a really good guess. Uh and the clue number four again was uh DreamWorks Pete when someone drew a Dragon Blood. Yeah, okay. What's what's the last clue that you had there? This movie sold more imaginary pets than Pokemon. Pretty good, yeah. Yeah, that was pretty good. And that was that was five fucking shit, son. And that's fun box.

SPEAKER_01

That was fun box. Let's tally up your points here, eh? I am sitting at a nice 16 points. Ooh, and I'm sitting at six. Six to sixteen for this round. Oh man, that is rough. I am fucking retarded. Yeah, you we like it's crazy. Because in this game, ladies and gentlemen, you can get a total of 25 points around. Yeah. If you get every question on the first or every movie on the first question, you are looking at 25 big points. If you score that at least twice, you're winning. You're winning. And like, I don't think it, dude, if any of us ever score a perfect round, yeah, we have to do something crazy. Oh, dude. We gotta like the next firework noises and all that shit. Well, no, even I mean the next episode, like the next episode after somebody does a perfect round. We gotta do something absolutely bananas. Because that that would be so sick. Yeah, it'd be fucking awesome. I don't like, and that's dude, you know what's crazy? Heist movies is the only category I could think of. Now I gotta think of another fucking category. Because I have no idea what to do for next.

SPEAKER_04

I have I have some categories locked in right now. Okay, keep them, dude. Keep them a tuck. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm not gonna fucking tell you what they are next time.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, don't. It's fine. Yeah, I'll I'll tell you every week though, because I think it's I think it's good to have a little preparation just to ease your mind. Yeah, like like uh I can't be petty. I can't be I'm gonna tell you every week what the category is before we do it, just so you can like ease your mind. Like, that's the thing. We're playing on the honor system. Yeah, so obviously don't go on letterbox and start looking up heist movie reviews because that would be fucking slimy. Yeah, that was. Don't do that. I'm not gonna do that. But like I actually don't I actually don't use letterbox. Uh the only the only reason I started using I started using it like maybe last year, and then I seen somebody do this game on like a YouTube video or a podcast, and I was like, that's cool. I want to do that. Yeah, so then I we started doing it, and I still have the app, so I literally only use it for this podcast. Fucking that's beautiful, but yeah, I uh do you keep your categories in a tuck because you don't want to waste them all because again, this is gonna go on for a bit, and I don't I don't really know. Ice movies, I'm trying, I'm trying to think. That's the thing because you don't want it to be too broad, but you don't want it to be too niche. Yeah, like you want it to be like the perfect, the perfect category.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

I'll think of some stuff. I'll think of some stuff. Oh, it might be even fun to okay. I'm I don't know. Yeah, whatever. I'll get to it. You can do like directors, you could do actors as well. That's what I was just gonna say. That's literally what I was just gonna say. I was gonna say we could do like Jack Black movies per se. That would be also very fun, but it's also like You want to pick a obviously an actor or a director with a wide berth.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

With a with a with a pretty big catalog. Yes. Otherwise, then you're guessing 12 movies. It's like I'm not going to do Quentin Tarantino movies because you have nine movies to guess.

SPEAKER_04

And you can't do Dale Day Lewis as an actor because he's only acting like what fucking six movies. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Like so it has to be, it has to be like a like a like a little bit like a like vast, but a little bit like niche. It has to be like perfect, you know? Yeah. It has to be the Goldilocks category. Absolutely. You can do like Scorsese Spielberg. Yeah. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I think I'm going to do, I'm still going to do, I'm going to maybe do genre. Okay. But like not like not obviously I'm not going to do action movies because that's mean. Yeah. That's a mean thing to do.

SPEAKER_04

That's a mean thing. There's so many.

SPEAKER_01

You know how many action movies there are?

SPEAKER_04

There's like a fit, there's an infinite amount, it feels like. There's like a such a wide spectrum of action films.

SPEAKER_01

I was thinking like um one of the ones I was thinking, because I know you're gonna hold all yours in the tuck because you're um scared. Um I'll tell you mine. I was thinking maybe like like space operas or movies like in space. I think that might be fun.

SPEAKER_04

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_01

But it could also be like two, like that's the thing. I think there's enough. It's it's also it's all the it's also the tough, the tough line, the tightrope of walking of movies that have a vast category, but also movies that you have to have seen. Yeah. Like it's like we I guess I gotta watch Project Hail Mary then. Well, that might be the movie for next week, but I haven't decided yet, so I'll let you know. And then by that time, well, so next week for schedule, yeah. I work so I work two like this week. Obviously, we're not recording because this is the start of the week. Yeah. So I work Tuesday to Sunday, and then I have Monday off, but I work Tuesday, but then I have Wednesday off. So if you want, we could record Tuesday at Your House again, but I'm watching the Odyssey. Okay. So if you would if you want to do that on the podcast, we could do that next week on the podcast, but you have to watch the Odyssey because it comes out next Friday. You're watching the Odyssey next week? Uh yeah, probably. Probably have to work on Tuesday if you want to come, and then we can go watch and then we could do the podcast after. But oh, dude, like 100%. Yeah, okay. But we're watching IMAX, like a little like it's gonna be really expensive. I'll I'll I'll have money. We gotta watch it in like the best quality ever. I'll have money. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, so that I mean that that because I really want to watch that movie so bad. I want to watch it really badly, too.

SPEAKER_04

Fucking fucking Elliot Page is in it.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, did you go? So there's uh have you seen the the footage of Elliot Page boxing? Yeah. Fucking dude, chick. He looks deadly on the pads, dude. Or on the he's on the he's only hitting like uh pool noodles, but looks pretty good on that. Looking pretty good, dude. He's fucking jacked. Fuck me up.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, it's like I don't like I don't want to step into Elliot Page. Some little fucking like five foot one fucking like dude like with a mangled fucking vagina. Yeah, they were uh I don't want to think about it. Some fucking makeshift cock sad, dude. Some makeshift cock coming at me. Yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_01

You know how they make some beefcake you know how they make the cock? They pull the pussy out, they reverse it, and they turn it into a cock. Yeah. I don't know. I just made that up. That's not a real thing, I don't think.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, you don't know how they make a vagina, they invert it. Yeah, but they cut the cock off.

SPEAKER_01

They don't invert your cock, they just cut it off and they make a little cavity probably. They fucking invert your penis. I don't think they invert your penis. Unless that's fucking some bullshit that they're on. It's not like we're using every part of the buffalo here. They're not like, yo, we can't. What are we gonna do with this good dick? Oh, throw it in his body. Like it's not I don't think they're like, I don't think they're like, damn, all this wasted caulk. Oh fuck, dude, there's so much wasted caulk here. Oh, fucking. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe.

SPEAKER_04

I wonder what the process is like, fucking, like, I don't know, for like a trans person. Are you trying to act like you haven't looked it up? I I haven't. I'm just like, like, what do they want? Do they want like big dicks? They're just like, I want the biggest fucking dick possible.

SPEAKER_01

Do you think a trans Do you think somebody wants a small dick? Are you fucked? That's very true. What are they talking about? You think they're like, yo, give me your smallest cock ever. Hey, I would like a can you give me just a small cock? No, nobody's asking for a small dick. It's like girls, it's like dudes who become women. They're not getting tiny tits, they're getting big, fake, bolted on titties. Yeah, that's very true.

SPEAKER_04

And also a case like it's like how does it get hard? Is it just like because like like a woman actually gets wet, right? So it's like filling, is it like filling up a fucking balloon? Is it just like fucking a water balloon? Is that what it is like? I I don't know, man. I don't know. The post juice is like flowing into this fucking flap of skin naked, erect looking.

SPEAKER_01

You think they would be able to like reroute veins, dude? Yeah, you think our technology would be far enough where we could like actually change a man or a woman to a man and it'd be like seamless. Can't you wait till it's seamless, till like I could turn into a woman and you could fuck me and you're like I you I don't even know it's you, Ray? I don't even know it's you anymore, Ray. Oh my god. Wow, I you never felt like he's so tight. Yeah. Ray, you never felt like this before.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god, dude. It's so much tighter than your bow.

SPEAKER_01

Did your asshole get tighter or something? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. You're yeah, exactly. You would fuck me hard. Oh, dude. But like like I'm saying, dude, can't you wait till it's it's seamless? Have you ever been tricked?

SPEAKER_04

Have I ever been tricked?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you ever been tricked? You ever been like looking at a girl online, and then you're like, oh shit, this used to be a guy? I I I actually k dude, I actually did get tricked one time.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, fucking, like, I had this person on Facebook.

unknown

Name's Jamie.

SPEAKER_04

And like I was like, oh, this chick's pretty fucking hot. So I had them and I was like liking their photos and shit, and this person inboxed me. And we were talking. It's like, oh, I got something to tell you by the way. I'm trans. And I was like, ah, well, fuck.

SPEAKER_01

And then you were like, shit, well, don't tell nobody. You're like, don't tell nobody.

SPEAKER_04

I di I dipped out pretty quick, but I'm not gonna lie, that actually that the shit happened. It's a true story. So hold up. That happens.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's fine. I have questions. So, like, when you were like, Oh, this girl was hot, I added her. Are you just looking through like other how did you find this person? Mutual friends on Facebook. Oh, then you're like, oh, this shit's hot, I'm gonna add her. Yeah. Hell yeah, dude. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Was like, okay, well, fucking, like, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No? Hell yeah. That's all it's it's always fun because I've I've been on the other end of that where I woke up and I was like, who the fuck's this random person on Facebook adding me? Yeah. And it's funny how you're like, I'm gonna fuck this bitch. And so on the other end, all these dudes that were adding me were probably trying to fuck me. Probably. I mean, that's just the basic one plus one equals two math that we just did.

SPEAKER_04

So, okay, the funniest thing was like fucking the guy that said, like, yeah, I'm trans, and I'm in the middle of transitioning. And I was like, Oh, oh yeah, good for you. He's like, Yeah, I'm just like just waiting to get my my cot cut off. Like it's like, fuck okay, you want to tell me that shit. And I guess kind of ended it politely. I was like, oh well, like good luck with. He was still hot though, right?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you added him because he was hot.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck you. Oh my god. Yeah, fuck, man.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I'm just asking. Like, you added him because you were like, this is a hot dude.

SPEAKER_04

I don't even know how to like respond to that question, man. What do you mean? It's not a trick.

SPEAKER_02

It's not a trap. I swear it's not a trap. It sounds like a trap.

SPEAKER_04

It's like, how the fuck? How do I word, how do I word this? How do I work around this quiz? What do you mean, dude? It's not a trap, I've heard. Oh my god. It's like, okay, well, like they were hot when I thought it was a woman, and then like once I found out it was like actually a dude trotter transitioning to her. I was like, oh, you still got your car? Oh shit. Do you tape it, do you tuck it back? Or okay, yo. Let's play with cocks. Let's go. Like shit.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. She don't want to play with cocks. She wants to tuck it back because she wants you to fuck her in the butt. She wants a vagina. Well, I mean, eventually. What do you think? She's made of stone?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. She has needs.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know if it just they have needs. It has needs. Pretty wise has needs. Yeah, dude. So did you fuck him or?

SPEAKER_04

No, I did not. I guess ended the conversation politely and haven't spoken to each other ever since.

SPEAKER_01

No one passed me on there.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we'll pass you one too. Like, I think that's when I realized, like, oh shit, maybe I'm not. I realized I'm gay. I think that's when I realized that, like, dudes, man. Like, this happened fairly recently. This is like a couple weeks ago, actually. This is something I haven't even told you. I can't even tell you.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, wait, wait. So this has happened while we've been podcasting. You didn't bring it up? Yeah. Wow, you really are closeted and homosexual. That's like, okay, Sean, I love you. That's like super gay behavior. Like, not even kidding, bro. Like, if you were straight, you would have been like, yo, dude, I accidentally added this trans guy, and I was trying to fuck him, and then I found out he was trans, so I didn't fuck him. But then you were like, I can't tell anybody about this. I was embarrassed, man.

SPEAKER_00

I was embarrassed.

SPEAKER_01

I was embarrassed. But we're telling it now. What do you mean, dude? Do you remember on the story that on the podcast you already posted where I told how small my cock is that I pissed all over my toilet? That's very true.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you told some embarrassing stories.

SPEAKER_01

Were you talking? Come on, dude. Like, come on.

SPEAKER_04

I also did go after my ex-girlfriend in a very embarrassing story for this.

SPEAKER_01

Is that embarrassing or was that funny? I mean, that's not that's not that's not embarrassing for you because I guess it is embarrassing.

SPEAKER_04

It's kind of embarrassing for me.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, we haven't talked about embarrassing yet. Oh, our our friend Zayn. Oh my god, talk about embarrassing. We wanted to go there? Talk about embarrassing. Yeah, what do you mean? Let's go there. How are we not talking about it? We have to, I mean, there's 10 people listening to the podcast and they're all our friends. Like uh one of them did suggest us to uh bring it up on the pod. I mean we might as well talk about it. So, I mean, you weren't so you're you're not in the you're not in the you're you don't have a number anymore. I don't have a number no more. So, but but uh uh Dalton said he texted, he's still messaging the chat.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and he's also apparently like uh he's like, oh, I thought I sent you the link. I think he texted it to my number because I didn't get no fucking link. But he sent me the link on Facebook. I was like, what are you talking about? He's like, oh, Zane's going viral. And I'm like, what do you mean Zayn's going viral? Like, what the fuck you talking about? And he's like, oh, like, you didn't hear about this? Like, oh man, you ring on bringing up on the pod. You know, I'll send you the link right now. So he sends me this link, and like our buddy Zane's just fucking juiced. Like, juice. Like, the dude's fucking hammered.

SPEAKER_01

So like everyday normal shit for him.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, fair enough. I mean, he's harassing a Filipino family. Harassing a Filipino p family at the pier in Victoria Beach.

SPEAKER_01

It's pretty wild. Yeah, well, hold on, hold on. Did you just you like what what was the what was the sentence you just used? He was harassing a family. You used there was a that was a very ambiguous sentence. Yeah he was specifically harassing Filipino people. Yeah. Because I think it was it was it was slightly steeped in racism. But also, let's say hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on. We're we're making this too serious. This was hilarious. It actually wasn't really funny. Some some of the quote Zayn was hitting off hitting off on this motherfucker was was um, no, you shut up. Yeah, no, you shut up. They they did that, they did that in the video, and I was die they did that for like uh like 30 seconds, and I was like, I'm dying. It was it was it was too Zane and this Filipino guy going back and forth going, no, you shut up, no you shut up, no you shut up. And I was like, what the fuck? You wanna know what my favorite quote from the fucking video is?

SPEAKER_04

My favorite quote, my grandpa built his peer. Not that one, not that one. You're taking all of our fish. There's lots of fish in the water.

SPEAKER_02

That was good, that was good. I heard that would do. I was like, you're taking all the fish, and literally there's a guy filming, and there's so there's water all the all for the eye to see. So much water.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, it's fucking Lake Winnipeg.

SPEAKER_04

You can't like it's there's water as far as the eye can see to the horizon, brother. Okay, you're taking all of our fish. There's fucking there's lots of fish in the water.

SPEAKER_01

You're taking all my fish really got me too. Holy fuck. And then, oh dude, oh man, I don't know. And then I think it was just like Zayn, like whatever. Maybe he maybe went down there, he was biking, he was on his bike, maybe he's all fucked up, see all the people fishing, maybe he got mad. But the when I watched it, I was like, dude, my son is Filipino. Fucking like, yeah. You were at the goddamn fucking first birthday party. Bro, you was there? Bro, I don't know. I either you know what? Uh getting mad at gay people. Yeah, you know, he was he was straight. He was straight. He just didn't like him.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, he just assumed that he was gay because of his uh because of his family. Because of his posture. Oh, his posture.

SPEAKER_01

It was it was literally just the way he was sitting. Yeah. Yeah, he assumed he was gay. Oh wow. Yeah, yeah. So yeah. Anyway, um that doesn't say anything, whatever. Anyway, anyway, let's move on. Um, but um, yeah, I I I don't know. It's uh so so tune hit the message chat, and he was like, Yeah, I seen Zayn because he was driving all slow by my parents' house again, and uh and I was and I invited him to watch UFC tonight, and that was last night. So I was like, Oh Dalton, you gotta report back and like tell me tell me what's going down with the video and shit. And he's like, Well, I had to bring it up when I seen him, and he said, Yeah, he's pretty embarrassed, super embarrassed, but he's like, just put it in the books. And in my brain, I was like, uh, like last time I looked on Facebook, there was two videos posted, and com in in combination they had a million plus views. Yep. Can't put that in the books, brother. You can't put it in the books, it's it's it's literally viral.

SPEAKER_04

It's got like it's got like 2.5k shares or some bullshit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's it's last time I looked. It's crazy, but also all respect to Zayn. You're we still love you. It's all it's all love. But I seen that and I was like, I laugh pretty. It was at first it was a tough watch, and then I watched it again and I was like, ah, it's perfect. It's funny now.

SPEAKER_04

It is it yeah, first, yeah, I agree with you. At first it was tough, but uh now I'm like, dude, this is fucking hilarious. Like it's it's comedy gold. Yeah, like and like it's not even meant to be comedy gold. Even like some of the uh the comments that uh on the video were like all the broken English. I was laughing at the comics at the comments. You speak English so well. I'm like, you don't.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Dalton hopped up in the comments and was like, lots of rods in the water, illegally fishing. And I was like, bro, you're on the fucking, you're on, you're on the Zane defense. Well, dude, well, cake the cake. I get I get he's our friend, but a bold strategy, Cotton. Yeah, but also but also pays off.

SPEAKER_04

Also, not wrong. I'm pretty sure it is illegal to fish off the pier like that.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, I mean, I don't know. I don't know the legalities of the rules, just like ne none of us do because we're all just speculating. It's so funny how we're all like it's illegal. I also heard that they were. You're not a fucking none of us know the exact rules.

SPEAKER_04

I also heard that they were like littering and shit, and like that's like what like set Zayn off. Like they were fucking like being disrespectful of the pier and they were littering in the water, and it's like fucking like and shit like that. It's like being disrespectful. Yeah, and like that's what said Zayn off because his grandfather built the pier.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, we we know we know from the video that his grandfather indeed built the pier. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

We know that.

SPEAKER_04

And he was born there.

SPEAKER_01

And you can shut up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you can shut up right now. He was born there. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Over there. Right over there. It's his home. He lives there. Yeah, I mean, peace and love to Zayn. Hopefully he's all good. Yeah, we worry about you, but we love you. Sorry, but fuck this dude.

SPEAKER_01

You can't we I mean, hilarious. I'll the only reason I also wanted to bring it up is because we're gonna watch a move, we're gonna talk about a movie in probably like five or ten minutes. And um, the movie is based in the Philippines. I think it's is it Philippines or though it's Indonesia? Nah, I don't know. It just says somewhere in Southeast Asia and all the people in the movie are speaking Filipino. Okay, that makes sense. So I think as in the top of the television, it sounds the same to me. Yeah, I don't know. I watched it, well, I watched it with subtitles, obviously, and uh yeah, it was lots of people were walking in, and it was just like Filipino talking, and I was like, damn right, texted Erica, I said watching a Filipino movie, be proud of me. And then I looked it up and I was like, Nope, Chinese. Nope, Chinese movie from Hong Kong.

SPEAKER_04

See, like I thought it was Indonesian because it has like so many people from the raid in it, and that's an Indonesian action film.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, maybe maybe it's Indonesian actors, but like lots of the lots of the side characters that were not the main characters, because obviously the main guy was from Are we just jumping into the movie? It sounds like we're jumping into the movie. It sounds like we're jumping. Sounds like we're jumping into the movie. But first, I want to hit your fucking vape. Alright, hit the vape. You're right. First, I want to hear your thoughts on the movie. Um do you want me to give well I have uh where's my phone? I have I have so I don't know. I I I watched it last night, I was pretty fucked up. Yeah, you took some fucked up notes. Uh, so I don't know how good the notes are gonna be. Um lots of them are maybe just like commentary shit throughout the movie, whatever. Uh yeah, so like I started working at this bar and I was like, I think I gotta try meth. Fuck off. Dude, last night I dinged out a fucking just a big fucking thing of meth and I watched this movie. No. And I made these notes. No, you didn't. Dude. Of course not. You dumb fucking.

SPEAKER_02

Why are you calling me going?

SPEAKER_04

I was like, the McLaren has changed you. You have lost your humanity, brother. The fucking like, dude, the McLaren has changed my friend for the worst.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, I was watching the movie last night and I was like, man, some of these notes are kind of like they're like not the best, but I was like, ah, whatever. I thought I thought of a fun uh meth joke to tell on the podcast. Can't dude tell right now, tell the meth joke. That was the one. I just did it. Okay, then well, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I just did it. You're fucking you got me going there for a moment, man. Actually, I was like, I was looking at you, I was like legit looking at you concerned. I had like legit concern on my face. I was like, this motherfucker, he did not.

SPEAKER_01

I well I did watch it pretty late though. I watched it because last day. Oh, actually, I mean I didn't talk about this. I watched Toy Story 5 yesterday. Pretty kind of mid. It's like Jesse's story. Well, like we were talking about earlier. Love anime movies. That shit came out on Torrente. Texted Erica right away. I said, Erica, when I get off work tonight, I'll download Toy Story 5. We can watch it with Andre. Fuck it. So we watched it. It's pretty mid, it's like Jesse's story. So it's it's no longer focused on Buzz or Woody, because like I was talking to Erica about last night. So like the first movie is uh Buzz's story. It's about Buzz's Buzz's story becoming like sentient, becoming a toy, and understanding its place. And then the next three movies, I think, are basically like Woody's story almost. Yeah. Toy Story 2 is kind of Woody's story where he's like, he gets fucked up, he gets ripped, he meets Jesse. Toy Story Three is pretty much Woody's story, and then Toy Story Four is where at the end of the movie. Toy Story Four is more about the fucking more about the plastic fork. I but at the end of the movie, Woody leaves. That's true. It's about Woody becoming like not a toy anymore for the for the for the pleasure of being played with, but he's a toy that literally is rescuing other toys. Yeah. Like that, so you you get to Woody in this movie, and he's with Bo Peep and fucking kaboom, Keanu Reeves, and they're just like rescuing toys, like lost toys. That's their whole thing. And um So yeah, anyway, but this is like more Jesse's story. Um it's pretty mid. They kind of like implement like it's uh it's like all about tech and all about tech taking over children's um children's uh attention span and morphing how they make friends and stuff, and it's like whatever. It feels too in your face, to be honest. It was alright.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like Toy Story should have stopped at Toy Story 3. That was the premier ending. Yeah. That was the per like why why a lot of people are gonna why they stretch it, like stretch it out like that. It doesn't make any fucking sense to me. And like to hear that there's barely any Buzz and Woody and Toy Story 5, like they're they've always been the heart and soul of Toy Story.

SPEAKER_01

No, they're in it, and then there's one there's like there's also um so like a uh like AI and technology, whatever is a big thing in it. So like there's there's a new age Buzz Lightyear, and he has like technology in him, and he has the ability to like he has like a hive mind. So it starts with a a shipping container crashing on a deserted island, and the shipping container is full of brand new Buzz Lightyears. Oh, yeah. And they survive on the island together, and then they build a raft and they make it to civilization, and then they just like start like doing shit together, and they're trying to find Jesse because she was the star of the inner still, whatever it's fucking bullshit. It's Jesse's story. Seven out of ten. It kind of sounds seven out of ten.

SPEAKER_04

Does not sound good at all.

SPEAKER_01

Mid, it's mid, it's mid, it's mid.

SPEAKER_04

Does not sound good. You lost me at Buzz Lightyears getting stranded on an island and making a raft and tearing shit up. Ugh. Fuck that noise.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, so one of the buzz the Buzz Lightyears, though, they have a cool new feature where they can extend their wings and then at the at the corners, at the apexes of their wings, um, little propellers come out and they turn into drones.

SPEAKER_04

They can actually fly?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they turn into drones.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, that's actually kind of cool. That's actually kind of cool.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, dude, how much is that toy? And Eric was like, You didn't see it at the store, it was eighty dollars. Oh my god, you can buy a real toy of this thing? Yeah, we just we actually just bought Andre like maybe a month ago when they were doing marketing for Toy Story 5. We bought him like the uh a bullseye, yeah, but it feels and looks like I I can't feel the one in the movie, but it looks like it feels like the authentic bullseye. Like all the parts are supposed to be cloth or cloth, yeah, all the parts are supposed it feels well. That's cool. So we bought it for him. It was like 50 bucks. But dude, I was like, this is a sick toy. He's got a woody. He's got a buzz. So we got him the bullseye now. And yeah, the bullseye is sick. Fuck. I used to have a woody and a buzz.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait, wait. Is this a joke? Where's the punchline?

SPEAKER_01

There's no punchline.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, oh my god, but that sounds so dirty. I used to have a woody. I used to have a buzz. Yeah, I was like, where's the? They're both gone. Where's the punchline, dog?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, fuck that.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway. I used to have those toys when I was a kid.

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit, son. That was a big fart. You should have used a fart with a tiny fart, dude. You should have just uh fart right in the mic. Not farting in the mic that I'm gonna put back to my mouth. We gotta get a fart mic. We gotta get a fart mic.

SPEAKER_04

There we go. Oh dude, fuck it, that's Rank!

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03

That smell I smelled fart. Yeah, I was like, dude, my fucking face was right there, bro. Oh my god. Raymond legit just fired in my face. God damn, bro. You hotbox this room with ass. Motherfucker, dude.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry you've been hotboxed with ass with you not taking a fucking shower after work, dude. Do you actually smell 48 degrees? Do I smell though? Coming in here with all your fucking furry hair ass body stinking like shit. Do I smell? Laying on my bed stinking like shit. I'm gonna have to wash that shit the more because it stinks like shit now.

SPEAKER_05

Be honest with me. Do I actually smoke?

SPEAKER_01

In here now. Not even because I farted because Sean's in here.

SPEAKER_04

But be awesome. Do I actually smell?

SPEAKER_01

Oh no I can't smell you. I'm sitting over here.

SPEAKER_04

Well word key, thank God.

SPEAKER_01

You can't smell that bad. Trust me. I work I work in a place where I people smell. Some guy came in the other day and I'm like, yo, you have shit in your pants. Yeah. Also, today, yeah, I or actually, what was it? Saturday morning, I came in, I came into work and I went to the bathroom and like I went to go take a take a shit and I go into one of the stalls and I'm like, I go, I go put down the seat because it's it's up, and I pull down the seat and there's a full shit on the toilet seat. Oh my god. That like that somebody that somebody so it was on the toilet seat and then they put they they lifted the toilet seat and pressed it into the back of the the top of the seat, the toilet seat cover. So like it was completely hidden. Like the the seat was the seat was lifted, like somebody was pissing in it, and then I went to go pull it down. There's a full shit on the toilet. I said, I dude, I lifted it right back up. I said, nope. I went to the other stall, I look in the other stall. The most shit I've ever seen in the toilet ever. The most shit I've ever seen in a toilet ever. So I say, okay, I guess I'm not doing this. I'd take a shit. So I leave, I leave that bathroom and I go straight to the woman's bathroom because I'm not open yet. And I go to the woman's bathroom and I take the fattest shit in the girls' bathroom ever. Also, girls' bathroom has has doors on the stalls. Guys' bathroom, no, no, no doors on the stalls. So people can just like wash them and take a shit. Yeah, but it's also locked. So the bathroom is like, it's it's a locked bathroom. If you want to use a bathroom, you gotta come to the bar and get a key. Right. And also you can't use the bathroom unless you're buying something or playing VLTs. Okay. So a big part of my job with people coming in and saying, Hey, can I use the bathroom? And me saying, it's not a public washroom. Yeah. And them saying, Please, I just gotta use a bathroom. And I say, No, get out. And there's this one guy who works there, and he's like, he comes, he comes in sometimes after, like, so I work 10 to 7 or 10 to 5, he'll come in at five, and he'll be like, hey man, keep the bathroom keys on the counter so people can just go to the bathroom. And I say, No, yeah, that's not the rules. Well, that's not how it works. He said, He says, You're just gonna be an asshole? I said, I guess so. I guess so, brother. Well, he's just also he I think he steals alcohol from there. He also, like the first Friday that I worked there, I was opening, so I worked 10 to 5, and he was supposed to come in at five, and I guess he didn't want to work. So he texted somebody that we work with and he was like, Hey man, can you work for me tonight? And the guy was like, No. So what he did is he lives there, so he because it's a hotel, so he ran upstairs, grabbed his sweater, ran out of the building, and just didn't come back for three days. Oh yeah, like just bailed on his shift, didn't come back for three days, didn't call anybody, was just like I'm out.

SPEAKER_04

The guy you're telling about, fucking the guy. The meth had one, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, oh my god, dude. Yeah, the one is he, the one that has like a a consistent bandage on his face. At a certain point next week, I'm gonna be like, dude, what is on your face? Like, what or is that is this a stylistic choice? You wearing a band-aid on your face?

SPEAKER_04

We're trying to be Nelly.

SPEAKER_01

It's but didn't he have it like on his forehead or something? Yeah, yeah, somewhere. He has it like under his chin, cheek. I'm like, what are you doing, you you fucking dope addict? You want to hear a funny shit story? This happened to me the other day at work. Okay, I'm gonna tell me, tell me your story, and then I actually have to take a shit.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so like uh I was at work and like man app. I fucking I had diarrhea and I took the biggest like giant like fucking like shotgun blast with fucking shit, right? And I flushed the toilet and all the stuff that was like on the toilet pool, and there was like a lot that goes surrounding the toilet pool was like not fucking like going anywhere. And I was like, oh my god. We weren't even open yet. I know a server comes in usually and like they go and they clean all the bathrooms.

SPEAKER_01

Ew, a server?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, they go and they clean the bathrooms.

SPEAKER_01

And they touch the food?

SPEAKER_04

Well, like you know, whatever. So like I I was like fucking like trying to fucking piss the fucking like the shit off the toilet pool wasn't working. So I just left it there and I was like, oh, which is terrible. Like the amount of shit that was like it's not that. Wait, did you shit on the toilet?

SPEAKER_01

I did, yeah. And then you tried to piss it off?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How does that make sense? Whenever I shit, I piss. There's no piss left after I'm done shitting.

SPEAKER_05

Oh man, dude.

SPEAKER_01

I don't understand how this story mathematically makes sense, John.

SPEAKER_04

I know, but I I try to make it work and it didn't work. It's terrible.

SPEAKER_01

Did you just start spitting on the shit? Like there's no there's no way, there's no way you had piss left.

SPEAKER_05

Well, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Isn't that how the human body works? When you shit, you must piss. How does it work for a girl? When they piss, do they shit? Yeah? Each time you think? Every time a girl has shit on me, she's pissed on me. Every single time. There hasn't been a time where a girl hasn't shit on me and she's pissed on me. You fucking ever do uh anal and have like a little bit of shit on your dick? Dude. All the time with my boys, dude. Last time I last last time we did anal, bro. You fucking shit all over my dick. Fucking dude. Fucking I'm all full of shit, dude. Fuck it.

SPEAKER_03

Full of shit. I eat so much I got shit all up inside me.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Wait, way to get real homophobic and scared about the bit. Anyway, you want to jump into the movie? Yeah, man. Okay, so um, I'm gonna Okay, so The Furious. Yeah, you can cut around because I already did like uh did the director, I did uh the actor. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So The Furious is this um martial arts movie that I've been keeping an eye on for quite a while now because as Raymond knows, I'm a huge fan of the Raid Redemption and the Raid Part 2. And then once I saw the trailer, I was like, oh my god, this has raid vibes. It's got uh characters from the raid in it. Like not characters, actors from the raid in it. Joe Taslam, for instance, he was uh bow and arrow guy? Uh no, that's uh uh a different guy. Joe Taslam, the guy that plays Sub-Zero, is is in The Furious.

SPEAKER_01

Is that the psycho guy who kills his wife?

SPEAKER_04

No. Which guy is he? He's he's the one that's like trying to find his wife. That's Joe Taslam. He's the guy that plays Sub Zero. He's also in the raid. Mid. Yeah. And the guy that has the bow and arrow, he's also in the raid. He kills Joe Taslam in the raid, and he also kills Joe Taslam in this movie. That guy, that guy, that guy's the best. He's he's he's the shit, man. He's he's honestly the shit. He does all the fight gun, he does all the fight choreography for the raid films. He also did the uh the fight choreography for uh the the new Star Wars trilogy, the the the the sequel trilogy. He did the fight choreography for that as well. Boo! I know, I know. Okay, and him and him and uh Ico Uwas actually have uh a cameo in um Force Awakens. They have a little cameo. But yeah, anyways, so it's about this guy, and uh you don't know like who he is. He's mysterious, he's got this brain injury, he's doing kung fu with his daughter.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, hold on, hold on, hold on. Movie starts with a title that says somewhere in Southeast Asia. Some so somewhere our close friend Zayn would absolutely hate.

SPEAKER_02

This is my planet. My grandfather built this planet. This is my daughter.

SPEAKER_04

My grandfather made me to make this daughter, dude. Imagine going to Southeast Asia and then trying to fish. Uh, and some fucking. Oh, wait, I got another one to hear about fish. I got another one to hear about fish. Imagine if Zane goes to Southeast Asia and he tries to fish off a dock, and then some fucking random Southeast Asian comes on to him.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, big grandpa boot this dock! My grandpa boot this dock. Oh, you are a rack in a separate went away.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna just leave it at that for now. Okay, wait.

SPEAKER_02

Oh man.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway, keep going. Okay, so this guy who knows Kung Fu he's also a mute, is teaching his daughter kung fu, and they get into some argument, and she decides to run away, and she gets kidnapped, and then from there, a whole awesome story unfolds. I really enjoyed this film. I thought it was great. I did I do believe it is probably the best action film of the year. Um, but I do have some gripes about it. I felt like uh each fight scene was kind of just like, oh, like how far can we push this? How how more off the wall can we push it? Um and it just kind of felt like a sequence of just like over-the-top action sequences, whereas like it didn't it didn't feel as grounded as the raid films, and that's what I expected of out of it because it's how it looked like in the trailer. I was expecting some grounded fight sequences, but uh the more like the more it went on, the fight sequences got more grandiose. There's literally a fight sequence with fucking bicycles in the movie, and uh I don't know. I really liked it, but they just like they just it got a little silly for me at some points, but very enjoyable film. Uh yeah. And uh Raymond uh has a whole bunch of notes here.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna do the I mean well no Sean's Sean's gonna we're gonna we're gonna take this a little bit differently. I'm glad Sean gave you his unfiltered classic opinion of his uh of his new favorite fucking action movie. But so what we're gonna do now is Sean, from memory, since so this is what Sean's gonna start doing in the future too, guys. I take hella notes when I watch these movies, so when we do the podcast, we can bounce off each other, have little fun riffs, whatever. Sean's gonna start taking notes too, so that this is gonna go a lot smoother when we're doing movies. So what but what Sean's gonna do for right now is Sean's gonna recap the movie from start to finish from his memory.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Well, I make jokes. Okay, so the movie opens up like this.

SPEAKER_04

So this uh Asian woman, she's like in some like basement. She looks through a hole in the wall. There's this kid who looks like he's about to get fucking murdered by some dude in a mask, and it's like, what the fuck is going on here? This kid's gonna get chopped out to pieces. She goes in there, fucks the dude up, freeze the kid, and then as she's like, there and she's like, yo, run away, run away. She's trying to like, you know, get the kid to flee. The kid's running away, and she's like fighting these dudes pretty well, pretty well for a woman.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna I'm gonna add. And then and then they tried to split a woman's legs in half only to realize she has a pussy and will not hurt.

SPEAKER_04

Ha ha! I was gonna say this. Like, oh dude, you're gonna try and like split her in half? This bitch could do the splits, dude. Okay, she's got no groin, jokes on you, motherfuckers, and she uses the splits against him in like such a fucking beautiful fashion. I thought it was really cool. Like, I don't know if he like noticed it, but she's like, that's pretty cool. And like uh, so like as she's doing all this, she's literally fighting for her life in this child's life. The child turns around the corner, boom, arrow in the goddamn motherfucking chest or face. I don't know. But fucking the kid got shot by an arrow. So this woman's, you know, she fucked up. Let's just say that. And then she dies. She dies, she gets murdered. She gets murdered. We know this.

SPEAKER_01

And I guess I guess the movie is about child trafficking and kung fu. Child trafficking and kung fu, they go hand in hand. I was like, I was watching the movie and I was like, I mean, I guess it's about child trafficking kung fu. Because they don't really tell you much. And I swear to God, dude, this like a so no hold on, keep going.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, so then after that, we pan to this father and daughter. It's all peaceful, it's all loving. It's kind of crazy to open up a movie with like a chit uh with a child getting fucking murdered with a bow and arrow.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, oh dude, dude, and like this movie, I was watching it and I was like, this movie must, it must take place in the apocalypse. Cuz why the fuck is this guy using a bow and arrow? What is happening? What is happening in in Southeast Asia why this man is using a bow and arrow in the in in in the year of our lord 2025?

SPEAKER_04

Wanna know why? Because I said it earlier. This is just just for fucking just for flashy fight sequences. And that's how I feel like each fight sequence of this movie was just like a sequence of flashy fight sequences, and it kind of pulled me out of it a little bit because the raid isn't like that. I mean the raid is like you know, flashy, but the raid's like so iconic and influential and groundbreaking because of how grounded the fight sequences are. Like there's like so many films that like uh and even TV shows that have been inspired by the raid, like Daredevil's fight sequences, for instance, John Wick's fight sequences, for instance, all bear heavily like heavy influence from the raid. Even goddamn fucking uh that movie there with um um Thor. The whole like what you know Extraction. Extraction, yes, all those fight sequences are heavily influenced by the raid. Yeah, the raid is the blueprint.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like it's yeah, it's I feel like it's easy to say that because like the raid is so generationally inspiring, but it's also it's also kind of hack at this point to be like, oh, this was inspired by the raid. It's like, well, maybe it's just an action movie at this point. Either way, whatever. It probably is inspired by the raid, but influential, the influences. Yeah, yeah. Um yeah, uh anyway, like the b the and like oh yeah, this is what I wrote down. Also, I wrote down like uh I wrote down 45 notes, but they're literally notes that are just like some some of them are one line. Like this one just says the furious and the fast because of how fast so fast they're fighting.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, okay, word. Okay, so I uh so anyways, my my breakdown of the plot. So it opens up this guy and his daughter, he's this dude's like doing kung fu on a fucking like one of those like iconic, like you know, like doll pieces or the hell they're called, yeah, he's doing his his thing. And like uh, so him and his daughter, they go to uh it's established that he has a head injury. It's also established that him and his daughter don't have the best relationship. For some reason, he lives somewhere in Southeast Asia and she lives in China because they both speak Chinese, the only Chinese speak speaking people in the movie.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, uh, and and also it's classic Asian action movie. Main protagonist is secretly a kung fu master ninja. Never explained in the movie, by the way. Never once explained how he's like so good at fucking people up and how we can just lock in. But is he Chinese? Is he all the Kung Fu and Chinese? Oh, oh yeah, oh yeah. And my next note, and he's a fucking mute.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and he's a mute.

SPEAKER_01

All the tropes from an action movie in one man. Yeah, it's all the tropes. He's secretly a master ninja, and he also cannot speak. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely. And then so, like, yeah, it's established that this father and daughter relationship. It's on the rocks, it's rocky. He's not as close to his daughter as he should be. He's um she's just there for the summer. She wants to live with him for some reason. He she can't live with him. Fast forward, next sequence. Uh we have Joe Taslam being uh charismatic more than I've seen him in previous films. He's smoking a cigarette in some fucking like place, and he's meeting some like shady looking uh Asian guy with an afro, and he wants to meet this guy's boss, and he's like looking for children. This dude's looking for children. He's like, No, I don't want four kids. I'm looking for like 30 kids. I'm looking for 30 kids to fuck.

SPEAKER_01

So I want to meet your boss. So hold on, hold on. Before we before we jump jump too ahead here, this is a movie I'm pretty sure based in the Philippines, just because I was watching it with subtitles and lots of people were speaking to Gallag. And a Chinese movie based in the Philippines, dude. I heard these people really like to fish. Yeah. Like a lot. Yeah. Like on piers. They don't own boats. They can't afford a boat. Also, 90% chance uh that so I was writing this as I'm watching the movie. So this is also gonna my notes are gonna categorically happen as the movie goes on. I said 90% chance his daughter takes a life of this movie, as I'm sure he will take many. There's a I was like, there's a because in the beginning of the movie, he's they're doing kung fu together. He's like, you need to do kung fu to protect. I'm not gonna be around. You need to do it to protect yourself. You need to protect yourself. Yeah. And uh okay, hold on. Sorry.

SPEAKER_04

Uh wait, I need to I have a question for you because the version that I watched, they had there were subs for like when they were speaking, but there's also dubs in like strange places where you could tell that people were like it was like dubbed by English actors.

SPEAKER_01

So so lots of the lots of the scenes where it was like they were speaking in Mandarin was in subtitles because they were speaking in Mandarin. Yeah. And then other scenes were dubbed where people were speaking in English, but it was clearly dubbed. Yeah. Same thing. I watched the exact same thing. Okay, where I watched the exact same. It kind of threw me off. It was it was weird. It was weird. It's it's like the it's like the thing where it's like it even though it's even though it's still foreign to us, I think the movie is trying to portray that they are still foreign there. Yeah. Because they are speaking Mandarin, they are Chinese, and everybody else is speaking like English, but it would be to Gallican. Actually, I Googled it.

SPEAKER_04

I had I had to Google it, and I'll give you the explanation for the reason behind that right now. It's because it's an international film. It was it um there is like American companies that are involved, there is Indonesian companies that are involved, there's Chinese companies that are involved, and they all want they wanted to make an international kung fu film that um that could that could connect to all these different audiences. So, in order to do that, they needed to have some dubs, they needed some some sub some subtitles and all that shit.

SPEAKER_01

For some reason, it was like just uh the yeah, it sounds like secret propaganda. Yeah. Um, hold on one second. That's why they did it. Anyway, so we were talking. Well, what did you you explained it, right? We're gonna cut back into where we were at. Yeah. Uh so I got I got here. Asian action movies take place in a world where at any moment you could be challenged to a fight to the death. I was watching it and I was like, dude, this movie is like he's like, my daughter's gone. Oh, oh, sorry. We we didn't even get like close. Oh no, you already got there because you you already his daughter's been kidnapped in your version of events, right? Yeah, well, a person.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, hold on.

SPEAKER_01

Well, well, if his daughter's already been kidnapped, then I got a couple more notes before that. Okay, right. Okay. So another classic, dead mommy, resentful daughter. That's another fucking action movie Asian classic. Yes. Mommy's dead daughter hates you. Yes. That's like got it trained to pass on shit. Yeah, okay, and then and then this this this is the part where she gets kidnapped. Garbage, garbage bag over the head and toss into the truck was insane. I don't know if you remember seeing that.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, who's fucking that tossed out?

SPEAKER_01

He literally fucking through right out.

SPEAKER_02

The scene where he tosses her, it literally looks like he's just throwing like a bag of air. Like it's so crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Also, fuck that little kid for like uh uh like that little boy. Hey, uh, some girl got hit by a car. I need your help. And her being a kind person, okay, show me where this person is injured. Yeah, it's over here, and then boom, immediately he gets a garbage bay toss uh. Yeah, what do you mean he was by some like some big behemoth of a man because he rained all through the back of this fucking truck?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because he's fucking under duress, dude. He's gonna be he's he's gonna be fucking killed if he doesn't rap. I think maybe that's where we were at in my notes because we didn't you didn't get to the point where uh um he starts chasing the bad guys yet, did we? No, not yet. Because you what'd you jump to? You jumped to uh it goes to fucking the guy Bar. No, we're not even there yet. No, we're not even yet. Joe Taslam's character. No, we're not there yet. I I I I well uh yeah, I was like saying 'cause it jump right out right after she gets kidnapped, motherfucker goes and there's a fight scene. Yeah. So we jumped right over that. We jumped right over the truck fight scene, dude.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Okay, dude, I'm I'm I'm backtracking here 'cause I I remember like where I left off. I left off like Joe Taslam goes and has a meeting with this fucking guy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's still still Like, like it's okay, keep going.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so then after that, the next sequence, father and daughter, they're getting their hair cut at some like hairy treasures place, and the daughter doesn't want to get her hair cut short. And the father's like, but you like your hair cut short, and she doesn't like your hair cut short at all. And she gets she throws a tamper tantrum and she storms out, and that's when she gets kidnapped. Yeah. Boom.

SPEAKER_01

Now the bridge is drawn. This well, this is before this okay. Well, whatever. I mean, we don't need a nitpick, but this technical the her getting kidnapped is before motherfucker meets Afro guy. No, it was in between the scene. It was in between. It isn't. It was in between. I took the notes in order of how I watched the movie. Oh word. Okay. I paused the movie every time I took a note. I watched it in order. All my notes are in order.

SPEAKER_02

It took me two days to watch the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So you know, okay. Okay. Well then there we go. Maybe I should be doing the breakdown of the movie. You want to do the breakdown? No, it's fine. This is actually common. I think it's funnier when you do it because you didn't take any note. That's why I offered you to do it. Okay. Anyway, but no, so so the she gets kidnapped, and then as she gets kidnapped, or she she she they're at the they're getting there, she's getting their hair cut, whatever, she leaves, she gets kidnapped. And then as soon as she gets kidnapped, the he sends out a lady to go after her, and she's like, I can't find her. Yeah. And then he runs down the street and he sees the motherfucker.

SPEAKER_04

This is the fastest I've ever seen somebody run. He's running so fast. I'm like, holy fucking like I'm like, dude, this guy's like and then this guy's an Olympian.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so he runs, he runs up to the truck, he runs up to like the garbage truck that's running, he jumps onto the side, punches everybody out that's driving the vehicle, the vehicle stops. And then all I have written down here is because it's a it's a big ass fight scene, it is major suplex to cock grab to drop kick. Oh my god. So I'm pretty sure one of the guys grabs him, suplexes him, grabs his cock, and then it throws him, and then another guy jumps up and drop kicks him. It's a pretty deadly ass fight scene.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's the first like fight scene of the film. Yeah, and like I said earlier, I love the raid films, and like um I was expecting like a fucking really deadly fight scene. I'm really happy that the first fight scene in the movie felt grounded, and honestly, this first fight scene of the film, as it get it gets wild more and more wild as the movie goes on. I feel like the most grounded fight scene of the film, in my opinion. I really like the first fight scene. Was it the fight scene? Oh, it was the first one? Yeah, the first fight. Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_01

This movie, this movie gets fucking insane. It gets insane. The movie scenes become more grandiose, but also also, even in the first fight scene, I have this written down because I guess they like get tossed into like maybe a shop or something, but one of the one of the bad guys grabs like a car part, which is made out of metal, yeah, and he starts smashing the main guy, and he's blocking with his arms. That's later on in the movie. And he's uh no, that's right here, dude. It's right here where my notes are, dickhead. I wrote them in order. I watched this, I watched this last night. Fuck it. Like, fuck you. Fuck you telling me where it is. No, this happened right now.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_01

And and he's smashing it with the car, the metal car part, and I'm like, dude, this guy's arms are made out of steel. Yeah, this guy's fucking he's going like this and he's blocking like an X, and the guy smashed him with the metal piece. And I said, I said, bruh, that shit is crazy. And then this is where it gets to the part where he jumps in the back of the car, yeah, and he sees his he sees his daughter back there under the under the thing. He's running barefoot, mind you. Oh, because he runs over glass in that scene, and he keeps running, which is a testament to his character, yeah. The ninja, ninja master. This dude's got fucking like the strongest bill. But also, I'm like, I he he his daughter's in the vehicle, passed out, and I'm like, dude, did they sedate her or did she get KO'd from that seismic toss?

SPEAKER_04

Dude, that fucking key. So like the guy seismic tossed is like the biggest Asian man I've ever seen in my life. He's like fucking, you know, the the thing from like so like this dude's like a mixture of the thing and an Asian man.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, yeah, I would agree, but definitely smaller. He's he's Asian. He's definitely shorter. There's there's only one part in the movie where this man impressed me, and we will get to it.

SPEAKER_04

So, like, well, it's pretty impressive that he fucking ragdolled this bitch, this little girl, like knock her out.

SPEAKER_01

That's pretty impressive that he ragdolled a child. Yeah. So impressive. I'm very impressed. It's hard to ragdoll children. Dude, this it has to be the apocalypse, because these dudes are driving through the street, kidnapping children. No cops around. Nobody. There's one point where they're driving down the street and he grabs a little girl, the the the big the little short thing guy that you're talking about, and he picks her up and he holds her by her ankles over the edge of the vehicle and then drops her down a little bit where she's closer to the city. Yeah. That shit, that shit is crazy. And I was like, how are they just what is this? Twisted metal? Like, how are they driving around the streets of the city?

SPEAKER_04

Like it's established, it's established in the fucking the police chief is corrupt.

SPEAKER_01

It is hold on, we haven't got there yet. Okay, no, no. Because my no, actually, we have got there because my my literal next my literal next note is because like I said, I'm taking this as I'm watching the movie. Next note says, Captain is dirty.

SPEAKER_04

Has to be so the kidnapper is the getaway, father running as fast as I've ever seen anybody run in my entire life. Like this dude's running fast. He's running fast. You saying bolt fast. Fucking exactly. Can't seem to catch up. Whatever. He goes to the police station, which is like one of the most bizarre sequences of the entire movie, in my opinion. Fucking, like, there's a lot of people, like, you know, trying to like, you know, um like they want they're talking to the police, you know, trying to make um what's the word I'm looking for here?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know what you're saying. He's well, he's he's he goes to the police and he's trying to file a report.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, that's what I'm gonna say. Yeah, he's trying to file a report and then So he cuts in front of all these people, like trying to file reports. Everyone's like screaming at this fucking like at this clerk. The dude cuts in line, he's bleeding all over the place, and he literally fucking writes down my daughter's been kidnapped, blah, blah. He has a license plate number, all this shit. Because he's a mute. Yeah, because he's a mute. He writes down everything and gives it to the fucking guy. Yeah, sorry. Um, I can't help you right now. Uh, you gotta like wait. We gotta, you know, whatever. Fucking with bullshit. I was like, what the fuck is going on here? This guy like literally like wrote down the license plate. His daughter just got kidnapped. But then what is going on?

SPEAKER_01

But then, but then a detective came in and was like, no, you need to come this way. And then he starts to bring him through the station, and then the captain comes up, looks at what he has, and says, No, this isn't enough to file a report. We're gonna report back to you if we find anything.

SPEAKER_04

What is this?

SPEAKER_01

And in that moment, I was like, that's what I wrote down. Captain is dirty, has to be. I mean, they're immediately I knew they're telegraphing it, dude. Like it's it's fucking it's it's simple. Also, and then after this, guess what he does? He goes home. Goes and does what?

SPEAKER_04

He puts on the steel toe boots that his daughter fucking bought him for his birthday. And he gets all dressed in a in like you know, all black.

SPEAKER_01

You're missing a part. He heals himself with Advil and water.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

He does like some takes Advil and water, there's a little montage of him like putting on his fucking boots and putting on his jacket.

SPEAKER_01

He does like weird shit with water where he's like healing himself, he's putting it on his body, and I was like, oh, so he's like full-on like monk shaolin monk ninja. Yeah, I literally wrote down Ninja heals himself with Advil and water.

SPEAKER_04

And then during during this montage, the fucking uh the technology's like, who is this guy? He literally has no identity. He came out of nowhere. Yeah, yeah, that part. There's no birth date, no name, no nothing. He came out of nowhere. And during this whole sequence, dude's like splashing water on himself, taking Advil. Very funny.

SPEAKER_01

I remember that. Didn't didn't write that down, but I remember that exactly. He was like, There's no, he has no record.

SPEAKER_02

He has no record. Okay, more cliches.

SPEAKER_01

Another trope. More cliches here. And and then, and then this this wasn't even like part of the movie. Uh it it just because because it happens. I said, gotta get out to a local MMA fight. That shit would be so rad because the next the next event takes place. It's like an MMA fight in a club.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, and the reason why I found that MMA fight is because like, okay, so these people were like um uh cosplaying as uh garbage men, and then why is it looking for his daughter through all the trash? Is the guy's like throwing trash bags around? He memorized this one logo of um of a local fight uh place. What are they called again? Fight club. Fight fight club, yeah. So like it was a fight club, and he fucking like recognizes that logo and he goes there, and guess what? Yes, it's a fucking cage match. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And then this this is this is the interstitial scene where your boy comes in and he's talking to Afro Man.

SPEAKER_04

Well, Joe Taslam, yeah, uh, after his little meeting with the Afro guy, he uh is about to meet the boss. And yeah, all these all all these guys were also involved in kidnapping the daughter, I must say. Afro man was there kidnapping the kid. Uh fucking big boy is also there kidnapping kid. So Joe Tazdom goes there, he's meeting the boss.

SPEAKER_01

And uh he is he is also, like, you don't know this yet, but he is the wife of the husband of the girl in the beginning of the movie. He's the wife. Nope. She went out and kicked ash at the beginning of the movie. She was the husband. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

No, I'm just kidding, I misspoke, but I tried to save it. Uh it's funny though, because like fucking, like, she had she had better fight moves than Joe Tasm in the entire film, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, okay, and then but then she goes, he goes and talks to Afroman. Yeah. And the the so the I just wrote down the husband of this movie says he'll pay market price for the kids. Now, what do we think is the market price for a child? Let's talk about it. Ten bucks. Ten bucks. Come on, dude. A good, healthy, newbile young boy. I don't know. I'd say market price for a kid. 250.

SPEAKER_04

$2.50. $250. Come on. We're talking about high price kids. Okay, $250? Hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Would you price yourself? Wow, what a good question. Naughty, not like, you know what? Funny, but I'm let's seriously think about this. Good word. My son. Maybe like $100 grand? Oh, dude, yes. $500. I have to go $500 at least. Half a million. Look at that Father's Day gift that he gave you of him like in his fucking UFC gear.

SPEAKER_04

My brother. With the shirt off? I'm like, dude, this kid could fight. Yeah, I thought you were going to get I could train a fighter on this kid. He's worth money. Thought you were going in a different direction with that one. It's like, dude, this kid could scrap. He's worth some money. He's Asian. He can do kung fu.

SPEAKER_01

He's wearing. Really, really. I was ready to go in another direction.

SPEAKER_04

I'm like, dude, I went in the stereotypical direction here. What do you think I was gonna say?

SPEAKER_01

I thought you were trying to fuck my kid. Nah, man.

SPEAKER_04

I thought you were trying to get in this little hole. It's like, man, if you want more money, why not fucking get a kid that you can make more money off of if he becomes an older person and can fight?

SPEAKER_01

True. Or just keep having more kids and sell them.

SPEAKER_03

Or that, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Double.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we're gonna.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so Q, mandatory nightclub fight scene. Mandatory. Man, uh Asian action movie, mandatory nightclub fight scene. It happened in Ongbok. It happened in Ongbok. Mandatory. Um, and so this is the point where he the daddy goes to the club and Afro Man's walking out of the meeting with uh with Joe Taslam. Joe Taslam and uh Daddy recognizes Afro Man, Afro Man recognizes daddy. Yeah. And scurred. Yeah, fight breaks out, fight great.

SPEAKER_04

And then so like, okay, at this point, it's established that Joe Tasman's character is not a shady guy. He's like, you know, undercover. Undercover. And then he's meeting with the boss. When the fight ensues, the boss is like, oh my god, who would you bring with you? And then another fight ensues. So two fights are happening at the same time. Joe Tasm's fighting these guys while fucking other Asian badass dude is fighting the other guys, and they're all in the same same place. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's like a it's it's it's a whole building of Asians just fighting. Yeah. So imagine that, and you're right in the middle of it. But there is, like Sean said earlier, homeboy puts his steel toes on, steel toe raid uh rib cage kick. Dude, that was hardcore. Gnarly. Gnarly as fuck.

SPEAKER_04

Gnarly as gnarly as fuck. I actually I did like this fighting scene as well. I liked how it bounced back and forth. Like I said, I love the grounded feel of the raid films. And Joe Taslam is from the raid. I liked how it bounced to like his fights where it felt more grounded because this guy wasn't, you know, he's not like a kung fu artist in the in the film. In the film. I mean, I think everybody in this film is a kung fu artist. Yeah, yeah, they are. I mean, Joe Taslam actually is kung fu artist. That's why he's sub-zero in fucking goddamn. Yeah, because we're all Asian. All Asians know kung fu. We know this. This is a phone. A known fact. Speak for yourself. And this movie proves it. Speak for yourself, dude. Your son's gonna be a kung fu artist.

SPEAKER_01

I respect all Asians. And I don't treat them this way. This is just a joke. Dude, stop killing the bit. I treat all Asians. Stop killing the bit. You have to lean in. You have to be the bad guy because I was being the good guy. I know. You got somebody, that's the thing. You gotta have the good guy and the bad guy. You you folded just now. You said I'm actually not a bad guy. Whatever, kid. I am a bad guy. Cage fight with a hidden hammer. Cage fight with a hidden hammer is something I didn't know I needed, and boy, was that shit fucking brutal.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, the hidden hammer thing. I feel like it was a throwback to another classic Asian film called Old Boy. And there's a fucking dope ass action sequence where this guy fucking legit fucks up dudes with a hammer in a hallway.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, maybe, but uh probably, but this guy's gonna hammer the whole movie. Yeah. This guy's hammering. This guy's weapon is a hammer. This is getting fucking hammered.

SPEAKER_04

His weapon is a hammer. Yeah. I I love I loved this fight scene because like there's one point, it was pretty cool. Uh when he fucking like uh the the dude with the with the afro, he like flees, and then Joe Tasm fucks him up, and then the dude f the afro guy falls into the pit, into the cage. So then fucking other Asian dude goes into the cage to fuck this guy up, and then he's fucking fighting the other the U MMA fighters, and then like he's literally fucking up dudes with the hammers so much. It's a pile of dudes, a big pile of dudes, he's like on top of a pile of guys, they just fucked up with the hammer and he jumps out of the cage. I thought that was cool.

SPEAKER_01

That's the whole hidden, hidden uh or that's the whole cage fight with the hidden hammer scene I was talking about because like he he goes and creates a pile of fucking Asians. He goes into the cage and they all just keep coming over the sides and he just keeps fucking them up with a hammer.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and eventually he's just standing on a pile of them and he jumps out of the cage. I thought that was fucking badass.

SPEAKER_01

And then and then they merge, and then it's two two men against the world, dude.

SPEAKER_04

Well they merge and initially they're fighting, then they re-like uh, and as they're fighting, a picture of uh his daughter slips out of his pocket, and then that's when Joe Taza realizes he starts to fight. Wait, are you looking for someone? I could help, I'm looking for someone too. I can help you. Let's team up and they fucking team up and they fucking flee.

SPEAKER_01

The most cliche scene ever. It's so funny. It's like what if uh he's like he's like, You looking for somebody? He's like, no, that's my child. Motherfucker, why are you fucking so easy to stop a fight when you see a picture, pussy? Um, and then uh I okay, I I really I jumped to the this next note uh is kind of I don't know what happened in between this, but the next note I have is Afro Man got turned into a Chinese popsicle. That does happen.

SPEAKER_04

Case like fucking the little boy. The little boy that um that um was like the um the lure for the man's daughter. Apparently Afro Man was his dad. You're gonna watch your daddy die and their fucking torture die. How how dare you introduce me to a rat? By the way, how weird is it to see an Asian wearing a cowboy hat?

SPEAKER_01

Unsettling. I was like, I was like, I don't like this.

SPEAKER_04

It's unsettling. He's wearing cowboy boots and uh and a cowboy hat. He reminded me of Mr. Chow from the hangover.

SPEAKER_01

It's uh I seen it and I immediately thought this is cultural appropriation. I was like, man, dude, that's Mr. Chow. I said, This is wrong. Yeah, this is wrong.

SPEAKER_04

This is wrong.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, dude, you're not white. Stop taking my culture.

SPEAKER_04

Stop appropriating half my culture.

SPEAKER_01

I seen it and I was like, this is it's borderline disrespectful.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly, dude. But anyways, yeah, so uh cowboy Asian who's the boss. Yeah, I'm gonna have to call him that from now on. Cowboy Asian. Cowboy Asian. Which one is that, even? He's the boss because he's wearing the cowboy hat and cowboy boots. Well, the not the boss boss, not the boss boss, but daddy. Oh, okay, yeah, daddy, daddy, daddy. Yeah, yeah. So daddy, cowboy agent. Yeah. Um, he's beating the fuck out of this guy.

SPEAKER_01

It's so funny how you said daddy, and I was like, oh yeah, yeah, daddy, daddy, daddy. Well, the big thing. I know, I know, I get it, I get it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's just funny in hindsight where you're like, daddy, and I'm like, oh yeah, of course, daddy. Yeah, of course, daddy. Why didn't you just say that? My bad. Daddy.

SPEAKER_04

He's daddy and a cowboy at bro. Uh so like yeah, he's they're torturing the fuck out of this fucking dude that's with the afro, and they kill him. Watch your dad. Blah, whatever. That's what happens.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then what and then whatever. They go to this fucking the two the two main guys, the the the real daddy and uh the real daddy. The reporter guy go to this whatever container unit and they find all these like fucking frozen, frozen things, frozen like cubes that are like rectangular, like fucking like almost like frozen and carbonite shit.

SPEAKER_04

Like first off, fucking Joe Tatum brings the other daddy to his van. I've been living in here. Oh yeah, yeah. I'm sorry if it's so messy. I've been living in here. I've been living in here. And he had a flash drive of like all the fucking. He says, lay down. Yeah, lay down. I'm gonna fucking fuck you. But you know, he's like, this is all the information that I collected. My wife was a journalist and she's been trying she's been trying to like uh shut down this like pedophilia ring for for years, and she went and she disappeared. I'm gonna show you like all of her all of her works here, but I can't like seem to find the connection. So mute guy is like looking around the van, immediately finds the connection somehow, takes all the pictures off the wall, boom, look at this. This is the location to where we gotta go to. And the location is the what you're talking about, where all the fucking ice people are. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it's so crazy how he puts that all together just with pointing with this mute daddy. Yeah. Mute daddy is honestly too OP. He's on point. Yeah, and and then obviously they get to they get their fucking Afro Master into Chinese pop school. Yeah. And then and then obviously it's been five minutes, so we need another fight scene. So there's another another fight scene with um with the guy that Sean says looks like Asian thing. And he does he does the my my favorite move in the whole movie. He does he spinning around with a sledgehammer? No, he does supersonic headcanon to the guy where he just runs at him and jumps at him full force with his head. Oh, yeah. And then he gets up and then he fucking cracks his neck like an alien. And I was like, Jesus Christ, dude, like, chill out. Like, what the fuck? Like, that is so aggressive. This dude's hardcore. Also, so many fight scenes in this movie that I'm like, this is well choreographed, but so not real. Dude, that's Kate, that's what I'm saying. You need to wait at least like 20, like, let us at least finish the review.

unknown

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so like that's what I was saying.

SPEAKER_04

Uh the the the fight scenes get more and more grandiose. They start all grand grounded, then they become more and more ground grandiose. Where it's like, um I don't know, they become silly. They they they gradually get more and more silly.

SPEAKER_01

They're they're definitely realistic, that's for sure. That's definitely like, yeah. And then fucking the so in this fight, too, while they're having this crazy fight, daddy fucking massive body tossed through the floor, literally through a floor building on his head, life ending. Literally, yeah. I hope I was like, I hope they give daddy, this is what I wrote. I hope they give daddy some cliche backstory, like he's a fucking top-level assassin in his past or something.

SPEAKER_04

I was actually I was hoping for that the entire time. I was like, I was legit hoping for that.

SPEAKER_01

There has to be something where it's like I know it feels cliche, but I was also hoping for it. Cliche. Um, and then and then I'm pretty sure he takes out a full four sledge to the dome. He does. There's full four because he's yeah, exactly what you're saying. The sledgehammer whirlwind that that that little Asian boy's doing.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he's not even he's not a little Asian boy. He's he's the big boy, he's the biggest Asian in the movie. But he we both be taller than him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I know. We're we're definitely taller than he's the biggest Asian in the movie. That's not saying a lot, Sean. It's not saying much. He's buff.

SPEAKER_04

He's both really a mountain of a man if you're if you're Asian. Okay, so he's five seven. Yeah. He's a mountain of an Asian man.

SPEAKER_05

Like he's the biggest guy in the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know. And uh Yeah, maybe you gotta fill me in on some uh story plot here because next thing I have is electrocution via chain link fence is a top-tier torture method.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so they're fucking torturing this guy. Uh fucking mute wants to find out where his daughter is, and the guy's not saying shit. So then Joe Tasm comes in, he's like, hey, they're doing good cop, bad cops for a deal. Hey, you can't fucking you can't electrocute him so much. And he comes in there and he and he shows this guy a picture of his wife. Do you recognize this girl? And then he goes off about this guy's wife and proceeds, and then Joe Tasm proceeds to like legit electrocute the fuck out of this guy. He was like, Oh fuck you. You know who my wife is? Where is she? And he goes insane and electrices the fuck out of him, and then the mute man becomes the voice of reason. And then eventually, uh uh cowboy Asian daddy says, The snake head. You'll find all your answers at the snakehead. And they leave him there tied up. Snake pit. Snake pit, yes, snake pit, yes. That's that's it. And then fast forward, we see the guy who's actually writing things. He's some fucking twink of an Asian man. Looks like a fucking pussy. Looks like a goddamn pussy. Looks like a pussy, but w what is he though? He's actually a badass.

SPEAKER_02

He's literally a demon. He's literally a demon.

SPEAKER_01

He's a demon. He's demonstrating. This guy can fucking fight. He's a demon. He's a demon. Straight up demon. And then fucking, hold on, let's see where I'm at here.

SPEAKER_04

And it turns out that uh they say he's working for like uh his his dad and like some other guys, and like they're against the whole pedophilia ring. They think this guy's a loose cannon. They want him to clean up his mess.

SPEAKER_01

So then him and uh Well, they don't even know about the pedophilia yet. Well, they don't even know yet. No, because it's not till like the we're near the end of the movie, remember when he f murders them all? Oh yeah. That's when they find out they're they're like, child, child, children? Yeah. Children? Yeah, that's where it's so I think they probably just think he's still doing drugs or something.

SPEAKER_04

So they want him to clean up his fucking mess. Like, yo, his kids lose cannon, you gotta you gotta take care of your shit. So then um uh so then um little twink boy who turns out to be a badass, goes with Bogai. I forget the actor's name, that guy. That guy's such a badass. And they go and they kill daddy with arrows. And then as that's going on, the other two guys go to the dragon pit. And this is Dragon Pit. So this is where the movie like finally becomes raid-esque. Um, they're in a building, and the building's full of fucking, like, you know, badass motherfuckers, and they're fighting their way up into the building to go save this guy's daughter.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they they they pull up out front and they see a little sign that's like a snake, and they're like, has to be the snake pit.

SPEAKER_04

Gotta be the snake pit. Yep. Yeah. And like they fight from the bottom of the building to the top of the building to go and see this guy's daughter, which is like I thought it was a really cool fight sequence. Like the whole, like, the last, the last 45 minutes of this movie is literally just like one giant fight sequence.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's it's literally like a fight from from start to finish. Like, I have maybe 10 notes left, maybe 15, and they're all pretty much just fight shit. Because like, it's like, what is it? My next note is father and daughter reunited happened faster than I thought. Time for some family bonding through murdering child traffickers.

SPEAKER_04

It's at this point where the movie kind of loses its plot.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, it eventually just kind of is like, okay, we have the daughter back. Yeah. Now it's just time for obligatory violence.

SPEAKER_04

Now we just need fucking violence. Yeah, straight up violence. Yeah. And it does get insanely violent. Yeah. It gets like fucking like it gets pretty fucking violent, man. It gets insane. Yeah. And it's like one like uh grandiose fight sequence after the next. You have like this guy finds his daughter, they're gonna leave. Joe Tazman's like, I got this, I'm gonna go save the rest of the kids. And they leave. You know what? They got in a motorcycle. They come jumping out the building and they're fucking juggling through a hallway. His daughter's on the fucking back of his uh motorcycle, slamming dudes with a hammer. They save Joe Tasman. Right right here, right here.

SPEAKER_01

How did he and his daughter not catch a blade or at least just get sliced riding the cycle through the hallway of dudes with swords and shit? I said stormtrooper like thugs. Right?

SPEAKER_04

I'm fucking like that daughter can swing a hammer, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then so so they get in there and then they they they fuck fuck everybody up, they save everybody. So they're breaking out with all these kids, and the daughter is taking all the kids out, and what they do is they tie blankets together, classic, like make a rope.

SPEAKER_04

Meanwhile, the like the police come and they're gonna go store them in the building, but the chief's like, no, they can't store them the building. Blah blah blah blah blah. Don't do nothing. He lets all the gangs pass, like, oh, that's the gangsters go through, and the gangsters go in the building and they fucking storm up those stairways. That fucking kid that shot was really cool. Watching all the gang members like go up the fucking stairs, the stairwell and shit. And fucking like Joe Tazman and fucking like Newt guy are fucking like, oh good, what are we gonna do? And they're fucking they're fighting all these fucking dudes. That shit was fucking cool as fuck.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I was saying, and like I said, I almost didn't want to read it because I was like, man, this is kind of gay, but I knew that shit, but it was also so obvious and right in line with this movie. Captain is dirty as a sponge.

SPEAKER_04

Dirty as a sponge. So, anyways, uh um the the bitch uh detective's like, you know, fuck you. We're gonna go help these guys. And they helped them. Kids escape.

SPEAKER_01

But hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. The the kid the kids escape and they tie all the blankets together, and all all I wrote down is tie the blanket to the pole, you dumb fuck kids. Do you remember the scene? Where they have one they have one kid holding the blanket around a pole, holding it as an anchor so they can all climb down. And he's gonna fight the plague. I'm also like, you tied all the blankets together. Yeah. Tie it to the pole, baby. They they they tied all the blankets together, they tie that shit to the pole. I don't know, man. I thought Asians were smart. That's what I wrote.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, okay, I was actually thinking that too. It's like, man, why are we letting the gimp kid be the anchor? This kid's got a fucked up leg and he's like carrying all the weight of these kids, like going down this fucking this blanket rope. Why is he why is he the anchor? Tie the fucking rope to something.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then like and when he when the last kid, like the little cripple kid is at the top, he's like uh he's like, oh, I'm gonna come down. And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this guy comes around the corner. But he comes around, like, it's so funny because like he's scaling the buildings.

SPEAKER_02

He could have came behind him, you could have came from everywhere, he came from like around the side of the building, and I was like, Where the fuck is that guy coming from? Are you just walking around the building?

SPEAKER_04

It's like all his buddies are fighting in the stairwell. This guy's like, you know what? We're just gonna climb the building. We're gonna scale the building. We're gonna parkour this.

SPEAKER_01

Literally was watching that. I was like, I have to write this down. That is so weird. Like, yeah, like where did he come from? Why did he come from around the other apartment?

SPEAKER_04

It got Joe Taslam and fucking mute dad down there fucking shit up, you know, fucking like legit holding shit down the stairwell. Where'd this guy come from? Where'd he come from? He's like, yeah, he's like one of the guys that snuck away and like went out some window, like scaled the building.

SPEAKER_01

He was like, he he he he just went to go smoke a cigarette and he was like, oh shit. Oh no. He's here. Oh, I guess I gotta kill him.

SPEAKER_05

Oh no, no, I gotta ski ski with this building.

SPEAKER_01

And then this jumps, this jumps over to um I don't know, you probably know his name better. The the main the main crazy Asian guy, like the the guy that's actually the most insane with the with the moves. Fucking the guy with the bow and arrow? No, pretty boy. Well, pretty boy.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know his name.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, but he goes he goes back to like Pretty Boy Asian. We'll take it away because he goes back to like So it goes back to Pretty Boy Asian.

SPEAKER_04

The whole operation is fucked up. And he gets called into his father. It's his father-in-law. His father-in-law runs the whole operation. So he gets called into his father-in-law's room. He's beating all these fucking guys, and they want to shut down his fucking operation. They want to fucking like they're mad at him, you know, like fuck you. You're a loose cannon. So what does pretty boy Asian do? He fucking kills everybody in the room in brutal fashion. It turns out this guy's not just some pretty boy with money. It turns out this guy knows Kung Fu.

SPEAKER_01

He's like literally the most hardcore. He's hardcore as well. He bites off his dad's finger, like he bites off his stepdad's finger. He bites like it's the most intense, brutal scene ever.

SPEAKER_04

He's using random objects as weapons. And like fucking, like, it's it's crazy. And then how is that and it ends like he accidentally stabs his wife in the stomach, his pregnant wife? Yeah. She comes for some reason, Drake, during all case. I thought it was fucking retarded. During all this coming in. Like during all this carnage, this guy's like in a fucking like in a fit of rage, killing everybody in the room, and she decides to go and tap him on the shoulder from behind. What were you expecting? And then he turns around and he stabs her in the stomach, and then she dies in his arms. And then as she dies, he's he puts all the blame on Joe Taslam and Mute Daddy. He's like, Oh, my mouth for blood now.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, uh, fair. I mean, kind of, kind of their fault. I agree a little bit.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I mean, it's kind of their fault for the ball. But I mean, it's definitely his fault. It's his fault for fucking like a stab. It's actually it's his wife's fault for dying. She shouldn't have came in there and like during his fit of rage, he was like a rabid dog in there. He's like, he's like splattered in blood, killing dudes with ice ice picks and broken glass and his fists. Like, bro. He's biting dude's fingers off, man. Like, what the fuck? Like, like, I don't know what the fuck she was thinking. It was so dumb.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but the that whole scene though where he kills everybody and then stabs his wife. I was like, wow. Oh, that's because like even the whole movie, I was like, oh, this is the at that point, I was like, this is the real villain.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, this is the real villain. Yeah. It's that turn in the movie where you're like, oh, this is the real villain. And then he then and then he and then he proceeds to fuck everybody up that he sees for the rest of the movie.

SPEAKER_04

For the rest of the movie, like they have a hard time fighting this guy. That's where it started feeling like like like the raid uh to me, because like the um in the raid films, there's also like uh like there's like at least one character in each one of those movies were like, okay, how the fuck are you gonna beat this guy? This pretty boy dude, during that whole sequence, it's like, dude, how the fuck you gonna beat this guy?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he becomes the the the undefeatable villain, the yeah, the immovable object. Yeah, how the fuck you gonna beat him? Yeah, yeah. And then fucking so at that point it's like, oh, the the the the the ring has been taken down, everybody has been saved, everybody is safe. But at that point, Daddy and Reporter are still fugitives, yeah, so they get arrested. They get arrested, yes. They're in jail.

SPEAKER_04

And then and then Well we left out the fucking uh the chief of police was the one that reported it to uh pretty boy and like uh and his and his father-in-law, and he's the one that gets fucking killed. He fucking gets stabbed up with a broken fucking with a broken glass. Oh yeah. I'm the chief of police, what are you doing? Yeah, embrace the fucking whiskey bottle and just fucking just stabs the shit. That's still in the scene, right?

SPEAKER_01

It's still in the whole scene where you're doing pretty boy fucks everybody. Kills everybody in the room. Kills everybody in the room. Yeah. I I actually until you just said that, didn't realize that was the same police chief. It was the same police chief, yeah. That makes sense. Yeah. Um, and then this is uh my favorite quote of the movie. Are you saying all Asians look like in this movie? Yes. In this movie, yes. I didn't realize it was the same police chief. What other police chief could it be? I don't know, dude. I thought maybe he was out of town. Maybe like he was from the other town over. Yeah, he was just visiting. But no, this is from Bing Bak Bing Bang. Exactly. At this point is my favorite quote in the whole movie where um it almost seems like oh all the drama has has faded, like, oh, they're getting arrested, they're in jail. And somebody asks him, somebody asked him, and maybe it's the female cop. She asks him, Who are you really? I'm just a dad. He says, I'm just a father. Yeah, I'm just you know, dude.

SPEAKER_04

I love I love that line. I was like, dude, I almost teared up, not gonna lie. Really?

SPEAKER_01

I heard that's beautiful. I heard that I love that line. Really? I heard that line. I said, that's the cheesiest thing I've ever heard in my life. Really? I thought it was beautiful. That might be the worst line delivery I've ever heard in my life. I thought it was awesome. I'm just a father.

SPEAKER_02

I thought it was awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe that's just my soft side. Maybe it's just my soft side. I'm I'm a softie. I'm a softie. I thought it was beautiful, I'm just a father. So this guy like went to like fucking like hell and back to get his daughter back. Yes, like a lot of like grandiose fight scenes and whatever. But this fucking this dude fucking like the heart and soul of the movie, the entire heart and soul of the film is his man getting his daughter back. And like, you know, like it's established that he fucking he loves his daughter. And I just thought it was nice. That was nice. Yeah, I thought it was a nice little quote. I thought it was nice.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you thought it was nice. I thought it was mid at best. Probably borderline bad. Not even borderline, bad. Bad line delivery, bad line, bad everything.

SPEAKER_04

Once again, me and Raymond are uh polarizing, which is actually great. I do love that we polarize. I like that. The polarizing.

SPEAKER_01

It's better to have two different differing perspectives than two people that are just looking at each other and going, Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

I agree with you. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's a boring podcast. That's boring. That's a boring ass podcast. Absolutely. Um, and then uh, oh yeah, so I mean I mean, I think we already covered this, but instead of gun down, homie got bowed down. Oh, dude got bowed. Got bowed down. I think that was that might have been daddy. It was daddy, it was cowboy daddy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Fucking so like so like uh um pretty boy and uh and bow dude are fucking mad and they're up for blood. So like wow, so is it so like the big Asian guy that I keep talking about, his daddy is the cowboy Asian guy. So like um mute man literally That's what he thinks. Yeah, that's what he thinks. So Mute Man fucking like during their fight scene, he fucking left um big Asian dude unconscious, and uh so big Asian dude, he fucking wakes up, he wakes up, and he sees his daddy fucking riddled with arrows, and now he's out for fucking blood. He's out for blood, and oh, he's full of rage, and he runs off.

SPEAKER_01

And that that the whole scene with the bow master was fucking was so legendary.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, so this guy fucking he goes into the police station, they cut all the fucking power. He walks in there and is methodically fucking shooting all these cops. It's like it's like the Terminator scene from the first Terminator movie, but a small Asian guy with a bow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Something about a bow montage to me is so sick. He's like Legolas, but fucking Asian. And brown, yeah. Yeah, and like like he also has long hair, but it he looks homeless.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so I'm gonna say Legolas. I wanna I want to say something real quick. So I don't I don't know this actor's name, and it fucking I I hate it so much because he's my favorite character from the raid films. He's all um he was so um iconic in the raid part one that they uh they casted him again in the raid part two as a different character, and he has a wicked fight scene in the raid part two. And um this dude is so good at the art form Pincock Salat, which is the art form of like um um it's Indonesian martial arts where you can like dumb disarm a dude with a knife and then use that knife against him. That's what a pinkack salat is, and that's the whole uh martial arts in the raid films. Pinkack salak? Yeah, uh uh pen a pencat salat. Pinkax salak. Pen cat pen cat pinkack salot. Pinkack salak, something like that.

SPEAKER_01

His name is Yai Yayan Ruhan. Yes, that's his fucking name.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he's fucking badass as fuck, man. So like I mean there's one thing that disappointed me about this movie is like the most time we see this guy using a bow and arrow, I want to see him use slot. But we do get a sequence of him using slot. We do get a sequence of the game.

SPEAKER_01

I want to see him using um his fucking tiny cock.

SPEAKER_04

He was badass with his bow and arrow, but I want to see him fucking fight. But when that fucking fight happens, man, boy, does it fucking happen.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, oh yeah. So so there's there's a uh that's the thing. Maybe you could break down some more of the fights here, but I literally just have some bullet points here because after the bow master, the next thing I have is um about the whatever pretty boy, the main the main villain at this point. Yeah. Uh where he's fighting the dude. He's fighting Joe Tasman. Well, I don't think he uses that fucking wicked kick move. I don't I don't think it's Joe Tasman. I think it's somebody else. He's fighting another guy, and the guy won't let go of his leg, and he he pulls he pulls out the he has the fucking sword and he's just hacking at his fucking arm. Cuts it off. And then that's when the fight sequence happens. That shit was unnecessary. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Unnecessary. It was unnecessary. It was so awesome. It was so awesome.

SPEAKER_01

It was awesome, but and it kicks off the longest fight sequence of the movie. Yeah, the dual, the dual showdown is always fun. The dual showdown is always fun. Yeah. And the back-to-back horizontal blades at each other's faces was a really cool shot. Yeah. Where it was whatever, Joe Tasm and the main guy, where they're back to back, and there's a guy beneath one of them with a knife going up, and a guy on the top of them with a knife going down. And I was like, that's a good shot. Yeah, it's a cool shot. I loved this fight scene. Very, very cool shot.

SPEAKER_04

And I nerded the fuck out. Okay, dude. I nerded the fuck out when Joe Tasm has the one-on-one with the fucking guy with the bow and arrow. Because I got that guy uh kills him in the first raid film. He kills him. He fucking kills him. Fucking they have a big fight sequence in the first raid film. So like the fucking sequence, and they're fighting one-on-one, and they fucking like then they kill each other, dude. I nerded right the fuck out, man. I was like, fuck yeah, dude. Even though Joe Tasman got his ass fucked up by that dude, but fucking like still at the same time, I was like, I was like, bro, he got really fucked up.

SPEAKER_01

He got fucked up, man.

SPEAKER_04

Brutally fucked up.

SPEAKER_01

Do you do you ever watch action movies and say to yourself, well, I would have been dead at minute five.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, definitely. The second I fought that fucking that little fucking dude with the bow, I'd have fucked up.

SPEAKER_01

It took me till this point in the movie to make the put pause that question in my notes. I said, I was watching the movie and I was like, I'd be so dead in this movie. Alright, so I did just finish taking a shit, and Sean was like, Man, I'm surprised you took a shit that fast. Like, usually I shit way longer. Dude, my shits take like 15 minutes long at least. Yeah, so I've perfected so I working at the McLaren Hotel. So when you leave like I can leave the bar to go cash out VLT tickets in the vendor, but there's always a clear line of sight from the vendor to the bar, so I don't have to lock anything up. But if I want to take a shit or I want to go outside for a smoke or something, they have there's two bolts coming out from on either side of the cooler with a hole in one side. So you put like a two by four with a hole in it up there, and then I lock it with a padlock. I can literally put a two by four over the over the cooler fridge doors, lock it up with a padlock, and then leave and go do whatever I want. Oh word. So like lots of people that work there, like lots of bartenders. I know this is so off topic in the middle of our movie conversation, but it's good. But it's it's still funny. It's because I took a shit. Lots of bartenders there. The other day I was working 10 to 5. This guy came in. We did we did uh shift change. Right as soon as he was done shift change, right as soon as he was ready to work, he put the two by four over over the bar doors, locked it up, and said, Going for a smoke. As soon as he started his shift? As soon as he started his shift, dude, that's fucking ridiculous. Locked in, got ready, put a thing over the thing, said, I'm going for a smoke.

SPEAKER_03

Give us one before you shift. What the fuck are you doing?

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's also like I think why a lot of the people that come in there, like regulars, why they like me a bit more, is because I'm not putting the thing on over the fridges and leaving every 10 minutes to go smoke. Or there's a there's a store across the street, lots of people go there and buy shit. Like I just sit at the bar all day. The only time I'm putting the thing on the on the on the bar doors is when I'm going to take a shit. And that's why I brought it up. So while I've been working there, if I gotta shit while I'm working, yeah, I I lock I lock up the bar, put put the padlock on it, whatever, go to the bathroom, take a shit, and I try and shit as fast as I can. Word. I'll do I'll sit down, I'll shit in 30 seconds to a minute, yeah. Wipe, I'm out of there. You're just fucking as pushing on the log really quick. That's the thing though. If you really have to shit, there's no pushing involved. Oh yeah. You sit down and you shit. If you have a proper diet and you have to shit, the shit comes out pretty easy. Yeah. Every time I shit, there's there's never usually an issue.

SPEAKER_04

This yeah, I had a hard time shitting today. Another off-topic conversation. I had a very hard time shitting today. Okay, off topic. Last night I got home and I'm doing my uh my food handlers course. So the same time. So at the same time I'm watching. Wait, did you pass? I did pass. 100% actually. Obviously. I did. I did 100%.

SPEAKER_03

I'm telling you.

SPEAKER_01

Was it was it so I have a question? Was it similar to the smart choices where you do the course online and then have And then it hold on, but it has like it has like seven little mini courses. Yeah, like modules. You do all those, you do a test at the end. Yeah. And then you do the test at the end for the big one. That's exactly what it was. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_04

Uh with within each of those modules, there was like um um quizzes, and you do the quizzes, practice quiz at the end, but it doesn't count towards your final goal.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So I skipped, I skipped all the modules.

SPEAKER_01

I did all the quizzes within the modules. Well, uh may maybe the food handlers is like that. I just did the smart choices. When you do the smart choices, you can't skip through it. You have to click on each individual one and click through each individual prompt. There's no skipping it. Maybe they didn't update the food handlers yet, but because the first time I did when I got my weed certificate to work at a weed store, yeah, I skipped through most of it. Yeah. And then I just did my smart choices like two weeks ago. Couldn't skip through any of it, had to watch it all.

SPEAKER_04

With the with the online food handlers, like you could like skip through all the modules and then do the practice practice exam before the final exam. But I wanted to go through the modules and do all the quizzes. I didn't watch any of the videos or whatever, because it's so long. I'm like, dude, I fucking I know all this shit already. I'm just gonna do the fucking practice quizzes, do the quizzes for each module, boom, whatever, I'm done. And then I'll do the practice practice exam. So last night I was like watching South Park and fucking I was like doing the fucking practice practice exam over and over and over again uh until I got to 100%.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's cheating then.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so yes, whatever. So I I kept on doing the practice exam and I ordered uh from um a fresh slice pizza, they had like a two for one deal, uh get buy one, get one free on DoorDash, uh, two medium pizzas, and I fucking I was so stoned I ate both of them in fucking one sitting. Where's fresh slice located, like around your area? Um, I think it's it's more downtown-ish, fresh slice pizza.

SPEAKER_01

I know there's one in like Grant Park Mall. Yeah, like where we go and watch movies.

SPEAKER_04

Mine is like 5.5 kilometers away from my house, so I'm pretty sure. Yeah, that's a decent drive. Yeah, yeah. So I ordered uh uh buy buy one, get one free. And I was sitting there getting stoned watching South Park and do my pass exams at the same time last night, and I demolished these two pizzas, and I was bunged up all day fucking because of all the cheese, man. I couldn't fucking shit all fucking day. So like I'm like, man, I'm hungry, my stomach's sore, I don't want to overeat, because I feel like my stomach's gonna fucking burst. I don't know what to do here. So I fucking chugged two fucking Red Bulls out of that shit fucking fester, and then dude, immediately I had to go to the bathroom. Giant log of shit, bro. I'm talking like the biggest fucking more probably one of the biggest fucking solid logs I ever fucking took in my entire life. Like lit lifted you off the toilet. Almost like Randy Marsh, brother. Fucking almost like that seat from the South Park.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, that's that's what I'm that's what I'm saying, right? Like he shit so much.

SPEAKER_04

It was almost like that, bro. I'm telling you, it was it was above the water shit, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I used to call those um Titanic shits because it's like the iceberg that hit the Titanic hit.

SPEAKER_04

I'm calling this one the fucking the perfect chocolate Sunday swirl shit because it had the perfect dude. I'm telling you, man, it had the perfect fucking dude. I'm telling you, man, I fucking I shit a perfect fucking spiral. It was above the water, it was like a perfect fucking like it was it was crazy.

SPEAKER_01

You you know you didn't you never you don't know what that means? What if your asshole shits a perfect spiral, that means you're 100% gay. Like it like your asshole is like it's that's a gay asshole. If it's shitting a perfect dairy, dairy queen little little little whip over the side, that means you got a gay butthole.

SPEAKER_04

Well, like it's like, oh dude, this guy's fucking. I should have put some sprinkles on that shit. Fucking I'm surprised like sprinkles didn't come out of my fucking bottle in the end, man.

SPEAKER_01

It's like fucking for it's all it's also it's also amazing like when you take a shit that big that like uh pierces the water that becomes no longer underwater, you really, really, really realize how much heavy lifting water is doing to conceal smell. Yeah, because because exactly shit to the to to to the naked to the natural nose is is it's so bad. It's distinctive. And like, dude, that that's how you know when you have a bad shit. Yeah. When you're like, oh, this is this is pierced the water. Yeah, we we we have reached maximum capacity, I can taste it in my nose.

SPEAKER_04

Man, I was doing everything today to try and trigger my shit. So I try to take a shit at home before. You figure your asshole? Well, no, like well, so it was oyster sundae today, right? Okay, and I love I love oysters, I do love raw oysters, I fucking love them. And like uh naturally, they do kind of like um they trigger something instead of make you hordy. Yeah, and they also make you want to shit too for some reason.

SPEAKER_01

So it's like so you're eating raw fucking sea creatures.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so it's like man, I'm gonna shuck I'm gonna like I'm shucking oysters and you know I'm gonna have like a I'm gonna like do I'm gonna sh knock back an oyster after every five oysters I shuck. So I fucking like I'm knocking back oysters, nothing's happening. My stomach's fucking gurgling and shit. Like, oh what the fuck am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? What the fuck am I gonna do? So I fucking ate a burger to try and like you know push the shit down. So I ate a fucking burger. I made I made a burger and I ate a burger, nothing's happening. So I fucking I shotgun to Red Bull. I was like, okay, let's see what happens here, and that shit worked. I was like, oh man, okay, I feel it, I feel it. Fucking, I was like turtle heading all that shit. I went downstairs, I fucking went into the handicap bathroom, my safe zone, my safe place. I went into the handicap bathroom, and the shit I took was gargantuan.

SPEAKER_01

You're treating your body like a science experiment. I don't understand. You're like, I ate two medium pizzas last night, woke up, didn't know what I was gonna do, ate more food. I couldn't shit in the morning. It kept trying to push it down with more bad food. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You need fiber. Well, I I had coffee. Fiber. Well well, yeah. You say coffee? I had coffee in the fiber. I know, but I mean coffee usually triggers my shit. Three vegetables. Well, coffee usually triggers my shit, too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's it. I'm surprised drinking a coffee and smoking a cigarette didn't make you shit in your brain shit.

SPEAKER_04

It didn't make me shit. That's why that's why I got worried. I was like going to work. I'm like, hey, what the fuck is happening? I can feel all the weight inside my stomach. I can feel my stomach legit stretching from the pizza I ate last night. So I was so stoned and I just ate a bunch of pizza and I was like, what the fuck am I gonna do? Let's see what happens here. I'll do an oyster. Didn't happen. All that happened was I got half a chub.

SPEAKER_01

You're just hard in the kitchen with so much shit in your ass. There's so much shit in your ass, and your dick's hard, and you're like, what the fuck? I'm gonna self-blump and I I was listening to one of the old podcasts, or maybe episode 10, and in episode 10 you were like, Alright, bro, I know. Next week when you come over, I'm gonna have money for beer.

SPEAKER_04

That wasn't a lie. That was just like a series of unfortunate events that prevented me from having money for beer.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, if you call doing cocaine all the time, it was a series of unfortunate events. Very unfortunate events.

SPEAKER_04

It was very unfortunate for me that I don't have money because No, it was unfortunate for me.

SPEAKER_01

It was unfortunate for me. Wasn't it unfortunate for you? Because guess what? The next week you still motherfucking drinking all the podcasts.

SPEAKER_04

Well, dude, fucking it was unfortunate for me because I was broke for two weeks. I mean, you weren't broke when I was around.

SPEAKER_01

Because I was fucking buying you shit. Well, come on, man. Come on, man. You're you're I I do that that that that is very sound. What you said is very sound. Come on, man. Makes sense. No, no, it's funny because I've been listening to the podcast lately, and I've been listening to the old like three episodes behind, and listen to some of the episodes, and you're like, Yeah, yeah, I got you next week. I got you next week. And then every time I'm like, this motherfucker didn't have me next week. Oh, can I say something real quick?

SPEAKER_04

It's the podcast. Hey guys, I'm the one that bought the beer today for once. Guess what? I just want you guys to know Sean bought the beer today.

SPEAKER_01

Guess what? Okay, hold on. This is episode 14. This is episode uh, yeah, 14. You bought in the beer of three of 14 episodes. Yeah, I know, I know.

SPEAKER_04

I know I know the listeners. There's no tickets that you're always buying the beer. They know that you're giving me beer. A whole total of three episodes. I just want you guys to know that I'm I'm growing now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's growing. Also, one time, maybe we didn't say on the podcast, uh, I came to Sean's house to podcast, and I was like, okay, well, like you probably gotta get some beers to drink, eh? He was like, Yeah, yeah, let's go to the vendor. And we walk to the vendor, we bust to the vendor. Oh, yeah. We're outside of the vendor. We're outside. We're at the vendor. Sean looks at me and says, Yo, can I get some money then? I said, What? I said, We walked all the way here, and like in my brain, you convince me that you were the one paying, and then we get here and you're like, yo, can I have some money? Swear to God, swear to God, four weeks later, three weeks later, three weeks later, where we we go on a fucking ride with Sean's dad. We go on because Sean's like, yo, I gotta get some beer for the vendor. I got there, I'm like, okay, yeah, let's go for a ride. We get to the vendor, Sean's dad drives him there. Sean looks to his left to his dad and says, Yo, can I get your card then?

SPEAKER_05

Are you fucking kidding me?

SPEAKER_01

And then and then Sean was like, Sean was like, Yeah, I'll just buy a 15. And he's like, Fuck you mean you'll just buy a six. And I swear to God, Sean hits him back and goes, I'll get an eight then. I'll get an eight then. What a fucking like a fucking real dickhead. You dude, you left the car, you left the car, and I was like, I was like, it's okay, Rod. He did that to me two weeks ago.

SPEAKER_02

He did the same thing to me, dude.

SPEAKER_04

And then I fucking, and the kids I get back in the car, and you cried the hilarious joke that fucking made my dad laugh so hard. Because I guess he might he cried a joke to my dad while I was like inside the vendor. So I get back in the vehicle and I talk shit about the fucking the crackhead fucking like uh bitch that always like serves beer there that looks like she hates her fucking life. And I was like, man, fucking like that girl's like always tweaked out, and then you're like, Wait a time, Moshawn. You're fucking like, you're gonna end up just like her. You're you're probably gonna end up fucking her. You're probably gonna like you're gonna be there, like waiting for it to open, be like, hey, uh I'll eat your pussy uh for an Apex. I'll suck your titties for a while. Suck your titties for an APA. That's gonna be you. My dad laughed so hard.

SPEAKER_01

Your dad's like, Whoa man, this guy's a this guy's a clairvoyant. This guy must be this guy must be reading.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, you made my dad laugh so hard.

SPEAKER_01

That's actually hilarious. Okay, well, it's so crazy because I don't even like we gotta jump back into this movie. Maybe we should just end the movie talk and like finish. I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, we end the movie like this. Okay, so we'll end it like this. So they have a great big awesome fucking fight sequence. It's amazing. I love it, and then it gets really silly. Uh with the bike sequence.

SPEAKER_01

This damn two-story drop onto bikes, and then the bike fight commences until he hulk smashes homeboy's face into the pavement.

SPEAKER_04

And they're using fucking pieces of the bike to fight each other, they're using fucking the bikes themselves, the bike chains themselves. And all this shit. Choking with the bike chains is pretty cool. Yeah, that actually was pretty cool.

SPEAKER_01

That's pretty cool. But then there's uh oh, I mean, I did I actually we missed this one part because there's actually one really cool fight scene or one fight move in the movie that I was like, Whoa, that's crazy. So homeboy, um uh guy that killed his wife, yeah, drooling like crazy, like penny wise. Yeah, and then that's he's drooling like crazy, and then he picks up the fight or picks up the knife with his feet, grabs the knife with his feet, yeah, and then handstands and moves and slams his feet into the dude, stabbing him with the knife. I was like, that's really good choreography. That's cool.

SPEAKER_04

Um, I thought I thought you're talking about like the scene where I got where a pretty boy's fighting Joe Taslam and like he uses his leg to like block all the fucking punches and shit. Oh yeah. And also like also at the same time landing kicks. Yeah, like he's like using his knees, all that shit, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, then fucking knocks him on the ground and then fucking jumps over him and then fucking like kicks him with both of his legs, and like you know, I thought that I thought that was fucking cool.

SPEAKER_01

That whole fight scene was cool, but the while I was doing it, I was just like, oh, I think this is like I didn't write anything down because I was like, I think this is just showing how crazy that this one guy is actually at fighting.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. During that whole fight sequence, you know, it was going through my mind. When is Joe Tasman gonna fight the little guy with the bow and arrow? When is he gonna get his fucking his uh his payback from uh his death in the raid? Because they fight in the raid. I was like, man, when are they gonna fight? When are they gonna fight? I want them to fight. I want them to fight.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that that's the whole that's the whole that's where they're fighting. Remember, we gotta go back then because before it becomes the two-on-two with the knife on knife, that's Joe Tazm fighting the arrow guy, and the arrow guy fucks him up, remember? Yeah, the arrow guy fucks him up.

SPEAKER_04

Well, before that, fucking like what happens is Kate, that one shot's cool. Fucking that one shot's so cool. The two of them standing across and the other two, they're about to fucking look on. And then big boy comes in, fucking like to revenge his dad. He comes in like a fucking bat out of hell, and they're fucking tearing Kate, that fucking scene was just fucking so cool. Because the guy's in there fucking, he's fighting all of them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well the whole that whole fight scene is like the whole combination of the end fight scene. Yeah. Where like that guy comes back in and then it turns into like him fighting everybody. Yeah. But then at certain points in the fight, them almost like certain people of the fights being like, okay, let's fight this one guy. Yeah. Like people were almost ganging up all at once to just kill the main guy. Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. And then I thought that was really cool. Yeah, and then all all I have, this is my third last uh third last note. I I don't even remember what point it was near the end of the movie. Fucking illegal blows to the back of the head. Yeah. Because I don't know, there's this one point where homeboy's just getting s oh yeah, yeah. Daddy. Yeah. Daddy's getting slammed in the back of the head by Pretty Boy. Yeah. Just slamming him to the back of the head. And then whatever, fucking Daddy comes up, fucks up Pretty Boy, and then all the kids come back and Pretty Boy comes out. Stop. Yeah, pretty pretty boy jumps up like he's gonna fuck them up. Yeah. And then like it was I didn't actually get this part in the end of the movie where he like has like a like a like a snap, and then he's like, Oh no, I gotta get home to my wife and kid. It was the head trauma from the from the fall.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, I guess it's because like daddy uh used him as a fucking like uh the uh he took all the blow like the entire impact because he was he was on top of him and he took all the impact when he when they landed.

SPEAKER_01

Daddy also beat the shit out of him. Like I said, smash his head like he was fucking him up into the pavement. It was an aneurysm that I had a brain aneurysm. Yeah, because then he stands up and then he walks away from the kids, falls down face down, bleeding from the ear and the eyes. Yeah, dies.

SPEAKER_04

He had a brain aneurysm, something in his brain popped, and he fucking died.

SPEAKER_01

That's that was so the the movie ends, and like I I'd okay, you'll have to maybe answer this for me because I'm not sure. Are we not really? It is. It's just yeah, it's just like uh it's just fine. Whatever. Um, so did the mute guy narrate the end of the movie? Because I'm pretty sure he did. I'm pretty sure Daddy's voice is the voice at the end of the movie that is being narrated.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I feel like uh the head injury that he had at the at the ending uh triggered back his uh uh his ability to speak.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, wow, that might be the dumbest shit I've ever heard you say. I know, but I think that's what happened. Oh, sure. But uh Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Because it was already established that he had an head a head injury at the beginning of the movie, and that's why he can't speak. Then he has another head injury by Pretty Boy elbowing him in the back of the head, and you think he dies, but then no fucking fast forward a couple months later now we can talk. Now he can talk. Wow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Deep. Last last note I have because the movie pretty much ends with um How did they get the wife's ashes?

SPEAKER_04

They had Joe Tasm's ashes. How the fuck they get uh Joe Tasm's wife's wife's ashes.

SPEAKER_01

There's no way because fucking Arrow guy had her ring. Yeah. And like they there's no way they like kept her body or some shit.

SPEAKER_04

But they're fucking like they're throwing away both her ashes at the end of the movie.

SPEAKER_01

They probably it was probably just like two by fours or something. Yeah, some kind of wood. Just like a bonfire. A ceremonial ash ash spreading. Um, but the movie ends with him like talking to his daughter. Yeah. I forget I forget what the conversation is, but the the the last note I have is um so this is how I met your mother. Sorry, I thought it was funny. Yeah, it is funny.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because that fucking the the the uh the um uh what's her face there? The the female detective, is that what you're talking about?

SPEAKER_01

No, no, because because the end of the movie is just daddy talking to his daughter. Yeah, this is how I met your mother about his about her dead mother, and like when I was watching it, I was like, I don't know, it just made me think about how I met your mother and how that's how like every episode starts or ends or whatever.

SPEAKER_04

What if it's what if it's like a a prologue to uh an Asian spin-off of How I Met Your Mother TV series? Dude, it it it's it's it's it's it's how I met your mother kung fu.

SPEAKER_02

This is how I met your mother, and then it's like it becomes a fucking sitcom.

SPEAKER_01

With with him just fucking people up, but in a fun dude, I mean I I could like it. He's fighting for love, but but it's like oh man, to be honest, now I'm I'm getting into this idea, and I'm like, dude, it would be sick if it was like Jackie Chan style action, yeah, but he's just protecting his daughter, and the whole story is whatever. Yeah, we're in. Anyway, let's let's give give you a review of the movie. Okay. I I I have a short paragraph here after all my notes.

SPEAKER_04

The reason why I wanted to show you this movie, The Furious, because I knew I knew that you would enjoy it. I knew that you would really enjoy it. Yeah. Yeah, and I know for a fact you really did did enjoy it. Yeah, well we'll wait for my review here and you you're gonna know. And uh I was like, man, I'm gonna I want to introduce Raymond to like uh some Kung Fu movies that I got. I do I do enjoy Kung Fu films, and my favorite ones are The Raid and the Raid Part 2. And uh the this movie has a bunch of the characters, a bunch of actors from the raid, and uh, I know you haven't seen the raid films. I was like, man, so we watched it together. We watched the first raid together, but we were drunk as fuck.

SPEAKER_01

We only watched every movie we've ever watched the other.

SPEAKER_04

So that's that's why I want you to after this, I want you to sit down. Um that's that's what I'm doing. So like uh next week you show me your movie, and then next week, because I'm gonna show you kung fu movies.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, every single uh that's what I was telling it's so funny. I hope I cut you off. But I was talking to Erica and I was like, fucking Sean's making me watch this fucking kung fu ass movie. Yeah. And she was like, whatever. And I was like, I was like, Erica, I guarantee you, every second week I'm gonna be watching this fucking Asian ass shit. Yeah. And she's like, Yeah, probably. And you're like, you're like, yeah, we're doing kung fu movies every two weeks. So we're like, I can do it, I can do it. Yeah, you can do it. You can do it.

SPEAKER_04

I really I really want you to fucking like see the influences and all this shit. Like how iconic these like. Yeah. Can't keep going. So so like uh so for from our view is um I love the movie, it had a strong narrative. The raid part one didn't have a strong narrative, but it had very grounded action sequences. So I put this movie above the raid part one, but I do not put it above the raid part two because the raid part two had the narrative, it had the grounded fight sequences, it had everything. The raid part two is amazing. It's a masterpiece of kung fu films. So uh the raid part two is a ten out of ten for me, a masterpiece. The raid part one is uh for me an eight. So I rate this movie an eight point five because it had the narrative and it also had I don't mean they're outlandish fight sequences, but they're also very well choreographed. So I put it as eight point five in my book.

SPEAKER_01

Eight point five. That's a that's a pretty good score. So I got I only got a really short review here. I said solid action movie, I'd give it a nine out of ten on an action movie scale. But on but on a regular movie scale, I'd probably give it like uh like a five point five to a six because like the the movie was great, the action was incredible, yeah. But the it's it's really it's really tough, even for me, it's really tough to grade action movies like this on a regular scale, yeah, unless they have that really, really deep, good moving narrative. And like I think the best example and the best example that people really have resonated with over the past ten years is and it's good, it's a North American one, but it's John Wick. John Wick, yes. It's John Wick because it's the dog getting killed, it's avenging the dog, it's everybody resonates with that movie. Yeah, so that movie is not only an incredible action movie, but it is also a great movie. Yes. So I would say this movie, like I said, nine out of ten action movies. Some of the action in this movie, I was like, that is it's crazy. Dude, that's why I want you to watch the raid movies. It's it's it's really good, it's crazy. Um, but yeah, the action was great. The story is literally any action movie. Yeah, story was not the point of the movie, it was solely action, and in that aspect, I think it nailed it. I think it fucking nailed it. I thought it was really good. I think it I think it nailed it from from every point, even though, like, like I said in all my notes, lots of it was very cliche. Yeah, but that's what these movies are. Yeah, I think at a certain point, like with certain movies like this, you can't you can't view it in the regular lens because that's not what. What it was it's meant to be almost like junk food sometimes, I think, right? Like almost like watching it, and you're like, that is fucking holy fuck, he just did that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Shit like that. Can I say something real quick? Uh I watched the trailer like the stop. I said no. The trailer came out a year ago for this film, and it was the way it was marketed was the best action film since the raid. So it's like, oh my god, we're gonna, I'm gonna expect some fucking like the raid level fucking type of shit. And uh I did not get the raid level type of shit. But I mean it's definitely close though. It's definitely close.

SPEAKER_01

I would say it's definitely like uh it's definitely close.

SPEAKER_04

It's closer to the raid part one than the raid part two, that's all I'm saying. Yeah, raid part two is a 10 out of 10 masterpiece, both narrative-wise and kung fu-wise. It's all I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

And I I think it's tough to nail that balance. It's tough to nail that balance. It's tough to nail that balance between being like a crazy good grounded uh kung fu or action movie while also having that gripping narrative, which is like even tough to like even normal movies have trouble pulling off a good narrative. Yeah. Throwing in all this action shit, making it a good narrative. That's it's tough. And when a movie does that good, you're like, oh, that shit is incredible.

SPEAKER_04

It's it's in the you know, fucking like in the way that's what I was saying, the way it was marketed, the best, the best fucking action film since the raid. I was expecting I was expecting uh narrative in kung fu. But I did I did get narrative in kung fu. Yeah, I mean I mean But I didn't get as strong as a narrative in Kung Fu as the raid part two.

SPEAKER_01

The Kung Fu was definitely stronger than the narrative, I would say. Yeah. Yes. But all around, I think I think it was a great movie. I enjoyed watching it. I know we really should cut this off right now, but we do need to talk about this one topic. It's literally gonna take probably two minutes. Okay. So I don't know if you've seen this yet, but we've been talking about it a lot on the podcast. Tomb Raider. Have you seen anything about the new show that they are making? I have heard whispers. Do you know who is in it? Who is Laura Croft? It's isn't it fucking what's her face on Game of Thrones? It is. No, Sophie Turner. Your opinions. Because guess what? I don't think she can do it. I don't think she can nail that role. I don't like you want my opinion?

SPEAKER_04

I do. You really want my opinion? Yeah. I thought she was a great Gene Gray. But that's why. I thought she was a great RPA. But uh listen to me. She can do action sequences. We know this. From from fucking X-Men. That's bare that's that barely action. Yeah, but you know what I mean. She's doing this. But we all we also put in the brand and go. We also know that she's got acting chops. She has a crazy arc in Game of Thrones. A crazy arc in Game of Thrones. But how you see her go from here to there.

SPEAKER_01

But how much do you of that do you think is um lightning in a bottle? How how how many other roles have you seen Sophie Turner in that you said, wow, that's great? I mean, I guess you're I guess you're saying Phoenix, but again, I don't think she was given much to do with in those movies. She was um definitely not the main character. She was sidelined. Jennifer Lawrence was the main character, James Backboy is a main character, Michael Fastbenner's the main character. She is uh a side edition, and they made that Phoenix movie just to make money.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like um if given the opportunity, if given a strong, a strong screenplay, strong direction, and I know that she does have the acting chops. I know like I feel like if they do it properly, she probably can pull it off because she does have the physique of a young Laura Croft. Okay, and especially from the video games, like she has the physique of a Laura Croft.

SPEAKER_01

The thing that I'm not worried about I'm not worried about the acting. I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about the action. Okay, where I'm worried about Laura Croft being Laura, like how how convincing is Sophie Turner as an action star, as somebody who is Laura Croft is a is a badass, is a fucking the take no names, tomb Raiden motherfucker. Fucking shit up. So it's like, how well do you think Sophie Turner is going to convey? I don't I don't think she has the the the bones and menacing.

SPEAKER_04

She literally bought Ramsey Bolton getting fucking eaten by the fucking dog.

SPEAKER_01

See, I don't want men I don't want menacing. I want I want like Laura Craw fucks dudes up. Oh yeah, I know, yeah. I I I don't know, man. I can't see it. I can't see Sophie Turner fucking dudes up in in the show and it even anywhere looking convincing. Okay. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

That's fair enough. I understand. Nothing. Yeah. She's she's using fucking telekinesis and shit and fucking in X-Men. And also in Game of Thrones, like she doesn't like really like kill anybody. She's a she's a great actor. Great actress.

SPEAKER_01

I like her as an actor, but I do not think she is going to be able to pull off this role. Also, probably a big red flag is this is an Amazon production. Okay. So it's otherwise gonna be very good. Good or very bad. Or very, very bad.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, look at the fight choreography in Jack Reacher. Look how fucking phenomenal that choreography.

SPEAKER_01

But also, that's fucking what's his name? That's literally bad. It's literally the biggest dude in the world. Yeah. It's literally the biggest one. The people that he changed his whole image too. Alan Richon. The people that fan cast Batman over and over and over. Like there's a difference.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. There's a difference. Look at this. People fucking shout on Rara Pattinson as the Batman. Oh, that's a good point. People shout on Rahber Pattinson. How can he pull off the Batman? And we got what? The most comic accurate Batman. Good point.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I do like that, I do like that point, but I don't think Sophie Turner is on the level of actor as Robert Pattinson. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

We haven't seen her in a movie like Good Time, for instance. Yeah. We haven't seen her in a movie like uh like goddamn fucking um like Tenet, for instance.

SPEAKER_01

What's the last thing we seen her in? God damn, bro. Game of Thrones. No, Dark Phoenix. I guess, but like, how does that even count? No, it was after. Yeah, I you're right, you're right. It was Dark Phoenix, but like after Dark Phoenix, what did she get? She ain't been anything in a minute.

SPEAKER_04

K dude, remember Kate, I want to say this uh really quickly. Remember, like it was like during COVID, you and I went to uh landmark cinema. We're the only ones in the theater watching Tenet. We're like fucking like hitting the weed pen fucking hard there. We're the only ones in there. We're watching Tenet. And it was like uh Batman just got announced, and we're watching it. Remember what I fucking remember what I said to you, man, after watching that shit? Like I see Robert Pattinson being a fucking badass. I was like, okay, this guy, I can see him being Batman. I'm okay with it. After watching Tenet, that's when I fucking knew. That's when I knew. I was like, man, they they casted the Batman properly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Well, well, I mean, like we haven't had that moment with Sophie Turner yet. There's like nothing where I'm like, they casted uh Laura Croft perfectly. So I see, I see your I see what you're saying. Yeah, well so at the same time, like let's give her a chance.

SPEAKER_01

I that's the thing. I mean, we don't have a choice. We we're gonna give her a chance. They're making the show, yeah. But Robert Pattinson is such a such such a good example, but also I think a bad example because Robert Pattinson went from Twilight and he left acting. He said, I'm gonna take a bunch of acting classes, yeah, and then became one of the greatest actors of all the best actors that we've seen now. Like he's in he's in everything. He's in the new Odyssey, he's in Dune. He's gonna kill it in Dune. He's gonna kill it in Dune. Yeah, like it's like he's in everything now, and it's like, man, uh, I don't I don't know. Whatever. Well we're we're gonna we're gonna wait to see, and maybe Sophie Turner is the greatest Laura Croft ever. I hope she's better than God named Angelina Jolie. But that's the thing. If we're talking about the actual live action versions, Angelina Jolie has to be the best one. I think but did you watch the one with She's too hypersexual, is my opinion, man. But that's that's just because the era of the era of television and that was that was just Angelina Jolie was hypersexualized in everything she was in. Did you watch the Alicia of a Candor one that came out in like 2018?

SPEAKER_04

Okay, she was she uh she was the closest one to the to the to the new video games. Yeah, with uh you're parting like a motherfucker. Little baby Billy in it. Yeah, no, Walton Gaugus. Yeah, Walton Goggles. He was a bad guy. I can't concentrate because you're you're starting to stink this bitch.

SPEAKER_01

What do you mean, dude? Chill, dude.

SPEAKER_04

I guess I deserve it because the last last time I slept here, I was blown parts. I thought I thought it was like why you left the bedroom, by the way. So I was like farting, I was farting hardcore in this bed. I woke up at like uh damn motherfucker, open the fucking window or some shit, bro. I'm fucking I'm not even lying, brother. I'm not even lying, brother.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, bro. Ask me what I ate today. Ask me what I ate today.

SPEAKER_05

What'd you eat, man?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yes from the fart. Yes. What? Yes. Chicken. No, like guess what I what could I have eaten that made my fart smell this bad, dude? Motherfucker, man. What'd you eat, man? Just tell me. McDino's Oh my god. McDonald's. It was a big Mac, wasn't it? No, chill out, dude. You don't you your nose isn't that good?

SPEAKER_04

No, I'm telling you, man, fucking.

SPEAKER_01

That was a real gag, by the way. That was a real gag. Dude, one time uh we were we went out, I was with my sister and Erica. We went out to like uh Posure, wherever Skinner's is the restaurant like out in Posier, whatever uh or whatever it is. Yeah. We went out there and we were getting food and we were sitting in the car, and I was in the back seat and I was farting so bad, and all the windows and doors were closed, and uh Carla opened the door and she threw up outside of the car, and I said, Yes. I was like, I was like, dude, that's I was sitting in the back laughing so hard because I was like, that might be the funniest thing ever. I farted and then somebody puked. Yep. Hilarious. You ever notice I don't take shits at your house? Yeah, because you have a tampon, huh?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, fucking my dude, my my shits fucking smell like crazy. I'm like, I'm I'm telling you, my shits are fucking rank. I'll tell you a fucking funny story. Uh when I was like working at Earl's, there was there was only like one staff bathroom, right? It was like there wasn't a female bathroom, there wasn't a boys' bathroom, it was like one fucking staff bathroom, it was like right by the fucking locker area. And I went in there and I fucking chopped a massive shit, bro. And I knew I knew it was rank. I knew it was a rank shit. Because I almost fucking puked fucking while shitting, bro. It was it was terrible. And I fucking I trot this fucking big fucking deuce and my and my shit was also like discolored. It was like fucking like bright green. I it was a fucking rank fucking shit, bro. It was a rank shit. And I fucking leave the bathroom and go back online. Bright green, what are you, my son?

SPEAKER_01

Dude fucking I was just a fucking guy that was this uh just fucked up. Yeah, yeah. So Sean took a green shit and uh it was actually a gremlin.

SPEAKER_04

So I fucking take this giant green shit and then my buddy Ben, uh not my not my cousin Ben, my buddy Ben from Earl's, he went into the bathroom after me. It was like so busy online, I fucking like because the like the the locker room's right there. It's like right next to line. I could see this fucking guy, bartender, walking to the bathroom. I couldn't fucking warn him. I couldn't warn him. I wanted to, I wanted to so bad, I wanted to so bad. I saw him walk into the bathroom and then I saw him immediately walk out and he was gagging like a bunch of pukes. He was like, he was like, he was like, who the fuck? He's like, he literally came online and he yelled out who the fuck did that? And I fucking had to say it in front of everybody. I was like, bruh, that was me. You don't feel proud? I was proud. I was like, bruh, that was me. So why aren't you ever shit here then? Because I don't want to put you or your family through that shit. What do you mean? I thought you felt proud. I do feel proud, but I also it also is kind of like a low-key embarrassing, having like really smelly shits. It's not that embarrassing everybody poops. That's very true. Everyone does poop. Yeah, well, I uh well we're I know we talk about shits a lot on the podcast, but like I don't I don't I don't know what it is about poops. You feel like fucking like every time you're like shitting, do you feel um what's the word looking for? Like vulnerable when you're pooping? You feel like you're fucking very eminent vulnerable state. That's that's I think that's just human nature. Yeah. And like, do you feel like uh after you leave the bathroom that your shit smelled? Do you feel like bad for everybody else around you?

SPEAKER_01

Never once. So I'm gonna tell you a story that that connects to your story about work. So when I was working at the warehouse, I would get in there and I would I would always go in early because I would get a ride for my boss. So I would get in at like eight o'clock or eight, eight fifteen. And the first thing I would do is I would go in, I would put all my stuff down, put my lunch in the fridge. Yeah. And then I would go around like 8 45, 8 50 into the main floor bathroom and take my morning shit. Yeah. And then I would leave, and that's around the time where everybody comes into work. So people would I I I would literally uh uh this would be my favorite thing ever. I would take a shit in the bathroom and then I would leave the bathroom and somebody would be waiting there to go in. Yeah, and I would leave and then watch them go into the bathroom and be like, fucking did that, dude. Now you gotta sit in my shit smell for the next five minutes. You know what I don't like though? What? I don't like when you you're waiting to use the bathroom to take a shit, and then you go in because somebody's in there and then they leave, and then you go to the bathroom to take a shit, and you sit down, and the toilet seat is still warm. Don't like that. Big, big hate that.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, at first I hate it too, but then also at the same time, I do kind of like it. It's like somebody warm this up for me. Yeah, also you probably jerk off to it.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody who's listening to this podcast, you know us. Yeah. So whoever's giving us bad reviews, you're hate watching, and it's okay because we're still getting views. You know what Howard Stern used to say? Howard Stern used to say, the people who love me listen for four hours. The people who hate me listen for six hours. Oh, guess what? Guess what? That's okay. But you know what? We're gonna tune out here. We we love you guys so much. Sean, why don't you fucking take them out? Peace and love, y'all.

SPEAKER_04

Um, maintain uh positivity, maintain a positive outlook on life, and and also maintain humor because the humor makes the world go around. If you can't laugh at anything, especially yourself, what's the point in living? So fuck you and have a good day and fuck yourself.

SPEAKER_01

And maintain a positive erection. Yes, and also.
