New episode of the Just Clownin’ Podcast is live: It Ain’t Easy Being Sneezy.

First things first, Sean just got back from vacation, so apologies for the little lapse in content! Things are going to continue as unscheduled as ever, because apparently Sean's still not responsible enough to have an actual release schedule.

Now, onto the bullshit.

The boys—Sean and Ray, in case you somehow still don't know—take on this week's Movie Talk with a full breakdown of The Odyssey. It's a three-hour-long epic, so there is A LOT to talk about. Be patient as the boys attempt to coherently dissect the whole damn thing over plenty of beer, bad jokes, and an absolutely shit-ton of sneezing.

We don't know what the hell was going on with Sean this episode, but apparently the filthy-ass chair in Ray's room triggered an allergic reaction of biblical proportions. The result? An uncontrollable amount of sneezing that probably isn't what you'd traditionally consider "good podding"... but goddamn, is it funny.

As the case of beer gets emptier and Sean's consumption gets increasingly irresponsible, the boys go head-to-head once again in Fun Box!

Sean is also starting to question his own movie knowledge. Is he actually a drunken cinephile? Or is he just a guy who needs to learn when to shut the fuck up?

Probably both.

And finally, there's a $7 prize up for grabs for anyone who can accurately count the total number of times Sean sneezes throughout the episode. Good luck. Seriously.

It's the longest episode yet. If you aren't used to this shit by now... get used to it.

SPEAKER_01

From it seems like our new recording locale. Raymond's bedroom. Introduce yourself, Sean Bouvier.

SPEAKER_05

Hello. Once again, we are in Raymond's bedroom. I don't know if it's like the new locale, but it's a change.

SPEAKER_01

It's the new locale, dude. The last three weeks. Last three weeks in this bedroom. Next week, I bet you it's gonna be in this bedroom too. You just can't get enough of this bedroom. I love this bedroom, dude. Yeah, because it's plain like a psychopath. Because the walls are blank. Yes. Blank walls with assorted hoodies. Yeah, they're all fucking gangster. That that green one right there, Theo Vaughn. Dude, that's gangsters. The last two on the on the right, both channel five hoodies. Shout out Andrew Callahan. Black one? Don't know. I can't see it that well. That's your Kendra Glamar one, I think. Exactly. Kendra Glamar one. Oh my god, what a fucking what a collection of fucking hoodies, dude. What an absolute fucking beast of a collection. Absolutely. Anyway, so we just got out. Oh, hold on. We gotta do we gotta do time. 10 44 p.m. July 21st, Tuesday p.m. 16 degrees. Oh, beautiful night. Um we just finished watching the Odyssey, Christopher Nolan's latest um masterpiece.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, masterpiece is definitely definitely a word to describe it, I would say.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean it it definitely wasn't bad, like everybody said it was. Like it's just like like we said, I said this in the cards, manufactured controversy, just to like it throw shit at the big thing or something. Like, I don't know what it was. Maybe it's just like echo chambers on the internet where 30 people sound like a thousand or sound like ten thousand, but it's literally thirty people just being upset. Yeah. Like, I don't know, you never know. Cause it's like you just see things on the internet and you're like, oh damn, this must be how everybody feels. And it's like you watch the movie and then you're like, oh, this is his best movie ever. Yeah. Oh, this might be his best movie ever. And the theater was absolutely packed. Yeah, I don't think that's on a Tuesday, which is crazy. Yeah, well, it's cheap night on Tuesday. Yeah. So that makes sense. But also, it was an IMAX theater with so many seats. Yeah, it was packed out, dude. Wasn't wasn't a fucking empty seat in the house. Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah. Um, guy next to me pops in, walks up. We're all sitting there, we're all having a good time, making some jokes, pops down, pulls out of his fucking out of his sweater the crunchiest cheesies you've ever seen in your life. You know, Hawkins cheesies, the fucking in the clear bag that are just crunchy as fuck. Yeah. This boy picked them out of his fucking sweater. Also, I already told this story in the car. So Sean's like, he's like, I heard this one, I'm not gonna react to this one. You gotta fake laugh.

SPEAKER_03

I'm letting you, I'm letting you like a roll.

SPEAKER_01

The part where you fake laugh almost goes. No, but yeah, he pulls out these fucking crunchy cheesies, and I'm like, this boy is gonna be a problem. He's gonna ruin my movie theater experience. He was so respectful, dude. He was nibbling on those Cheetos, on those fucking Hawkins cheesies, just ever so slightly, like a little mouse, dude. And but he one thing he did that kind of it didn't bother me because I wasn't sitting in front of him, but at one point he picked up his leg and he stretched it out over the people in front of him. Oh, dude, I saw I saw that on the corner. What if you're just like shoe dust is falling in their hair and popcorn and shit? Like, what a fucking goober. I was like, go go go for a walk, dude. Go take a piss. Walk up and down the aisles, nobody's gonna care. Yeah, no, no. Yeah, he took his leg out and he extended it fully over the person's head in front of him. This is IMAX seating. There's not a lot of room between you and the person in front of you.

SPEAKER_05

No, yeah. I thought I was like, okay, dude, crazy move. I saw that and I was like, man, he's got the right idea. I want to do that so bad, but like it's also disrespectful.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean, also you and You could like potentially kick the person in front of you. You and your dad had a decent spot though, because there was like almost like a balcony or like a ledge in front of you where you didn't have people sitting in front of you. Yeah. So technically, if I was sitting where you guys are sitting, I thought I was being nice. Maybe I left you guys less leg room, but you literally could have just propped your legs up on that fucking little thing and sat comfy. Yeah. Real comfy. Because nobody on your side got out to even leave. No. You guys were fucking buckled in, dude.

SPEAKER_05

We were fucking we were in for the ride.

SPEAKER_01

How fast did I piss, though? You fucking pissed.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, and you were gone for like 30 seconds. We were gone for like 30 seconds. I was like, holy fuck, where's this guy going? There's there's shit about to happen here. Yeah. And like, uh you left, and it's like, okay. Then he came back like instantaneously. It's like, what did you do? Like, sprint out of the doors, run to the bathroom, whip your cock out, piss real quick.

SPEAKER_01

I literally sprinted back. I just felt so weird about pissing my pants right next to you. So I ran down. I didn't even leave the theater. I just pissed my pants and then I ran back up. No, it's funny. I seen a guy leave before me, yeah, and then I left right after him. And then when I sat down, he was walking up the stairs, sit down. I'm like, dude, I left after this guy and returned before him. Also hit the vape in the bathroom. Hit a vape, took a piss, came back, and I was like, dude, I feel like I missed like three minutes. Dude, fucking I feel like it was like less than three minutes. Because I when I when I left, they were going to the island that is can that is like the Helios' island, the sun god, and uh Odysseus is basically like, don't eat the sheep there, because if you eat them, it's gonna be a fucking affront to the gods, and you guys are all gonna die.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, don't eat any of the cows.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the cattle or whatever. And then when I that was when I left, and then when I got back, they were eating the sh the cattle, and I was like, I didn't miss anything, dude. They got to the island, they ate the cattle, Odysseus didn't eat it, obviously, and that's where I got back. I was like, bruh, I'm fucking bathroom. Was also men's room was literally the next door over. Yeah. And I walked in there, walked in the first stall, closed it, whipped, whipped out my vape, hit it as hard as I can while I was pissing, blew the smoke down into the other stall, and then walked out of there. Dude, you were on point with that piss break, bro. I had to, yeah, I had to. I was on point. I was getting uncomfortable, and I like my watch will give me a notification every hour, like every at basically 8 50, 9 50, 10 50. If you're not standing up or you haven't stood up in that time and you're still awake, the Apple Watch will tell you, hey, maybe it's time to stand up. Yeah. Because you've been sitting down for a while, buddy. Yeah. And so on the by the time I got the second alert for that, I was like, oh, it's been two hours since we sat here. Because it was 8 50, so like maybe like an hour and 45 because movie starts at 7.50, whatever. But I was like, there's still an hour left of this movie, and I got up this really bad. So I was like, I gotta go. I gotta go right now. If I go right now, I'm not gonna miss anything from the ending. I didn't miss anything from the ending. Nope.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, like also, like that's one thing I want to say to you. Like, we'll break down uh the movie like uh later on, but one thing I did want to say was um the runtime didn't like it was not a big deal for me. It didn't really feel like three hours.

SPEAKER_01

I thought it was like really well paced. Yeah, a good movie will make you not understand that it's that long. Yeah, like you go into a movie and it's good and you're like locked in, then you're like, wait, that was three hours? Yeah, fuck, that was crazy. Didn't feel long at all. Didn't feel long at all, it was paced perfectly. It was incredible. Also, we can break down the movie, but it's also the Odyssey. It's a 3,000-year-old story. If people don't know it by now, we don't need to tell it to them. That's very that's very true. But we will we will talk about it. We're definitely gonna talk the fuck out of it. We're gonna talk the fuck out of it.

SPEAKER_05

Because I got some I got some raging thoughts, some raging ideas.

SPEAKER_01

I was thinking about that when we were in the movie theater. I was like, we usually break down the movie, but what are we gonna do? Break down this three hundred three thousand-year-old story and be like, so this is the Odyssey guys. It's like, yeah, mother, everybody's gonna be like, motherfucker, we know. Yeah, motherfucker we know. Just talk about the shit you liked.

SPEAKER_05

My mom doesn't even know about the Odyssey. It's like she's like, is it a sequel to something? I was like, well, yeah, technically it's a sequel to the Iliad, but you know.

SPEAKER_01

Technically a sequel. Yeah. I mean, she's on point, dude. She's on point, yeah. She's on point. Um, that's the thing. If I walked out of this room right now and I was like, Mom, do you know what the Odyssey is? She would be like, or the Iliad? She'd be like, she'd be like, no. Well, there you go, dude. Fine. All good. So maybe we do gotta break it down a little bit. Maybe there's no, I mean, that's the thing. We could break it down a little bit, but I'm pretty sure even Nolan's interpretation is a little bit different from the original text. Yeah, it's definitely a little bit different. Like it's a little bit, it's a little bit different. So we break this down, it is not a true, is like it is a it is a it is a muddied version of the of the actual true tale of the Odyssey.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, there's definitely a lot less uh rape of little boys in this film.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely zero. Yeah, there's I would say absolutely zero. I was disappointed. Absolutely zero. Also, a big thing at the end, like a big thing that they changed that I didn't think they would, is like we're just gonna jump around this whole episode unless we unless we actually do a breakdown. But at the ending, when Telemachus doesn't help Odysseus kill all the suitors, yeah, that's it, that's how the story is. Yeah, him and Telemachus just fuck everybody up, and that's the story, and then he's uh then he's Odysseus again, the king of Ithaca. Yeah, but in this one he's like, you can't help me or you'll be exiled, and then he kills everybody and exiles himself anyway. I was like, I guess.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I guess. We'll do a we'll do a more of a breakdown later.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, why let's just start it right now. What are we doing? We can just start it right now. Fuck it, yeah. Fucking yeah, just start it right now.

SPEAKER_03

Nights, camera, it's movie talk with Sean and Ray.

SPEAKER_01

I need you to get like seven more drinks than you, and then we'll do pum box. Okay. You gotta rig the game here. I am done.

SPEAKER_05

My first beer. If you want to pass you my second one, I didn't hear the magic word in there.

SPEAKER_01

Please. Oh, thank you. Like you're my son, bro. Oh, thanks, G. Can. Yes, I'll pass you the can.

SPEAKER_05

What's the magic word? Now. Bitch.

SPEAKER_01

Pussy bitch. Now. What did I say? Oh, that was. I'm just getting pleased, thank you. Please and thank you. Thank you, thank you. Um, yeah, so I mean, yeah, you can you can take it, bro. I'll take it. Okay, so like Christopher Nolan. I feel like I thought you were gonna be like, Christopher Nolan, born. Do like his whole fucking backstory.

SPEAKER_05

He was actually not born Christopher Nolan. I don't even know if like fucking. He was born Christina Nolan, most popular transgender director of all time. Which is why he casted Elliot Page in this film.

SPEAKER_01

Well, he also cast Elliot Page because I said this already and I'll say it again. Elliot Page is hands down a better actor than Tom Holland. Yes. There's no fucking doubt about that. Give me any range that Tom Holland has done. Tom, you know what I've seen on the internet? And I was like, damn, that's crazy. It's like they were like, did they cast Tom Holland because he's just a nice guy? What it said was Tom Holland, the guy who's cast most because he's just a really nice guy. And I was like, I mean, fair. Like, I mean, I've never seen Tom Holland in like a I guess this movie had a little bit of range for him, but lots of the lines that I hit he said fell a little flat for me. Yeah. They did fall a little flat. I don't think I mean, whatever, he's Spider-Man. He could keep being Spider-Man.

SPEAKER_05

Well, there's that one movie that's called Cherry, where he's like literally getting butt fucked in a in a bathroom. Is that range, or what are we talking about?

SPEAKER_01

It's really hard to grip tile and get bummed in or butt fucked in the in the bathroom. I was gonna say bumfucked, and I was like, that sounds weird. But anyways, the Odyssey. So it's the it starts with it starts with Travis Scott, who's like uh he's like a he's like a singer, like a guy who recounts tales. He's a bard. He's he's a bard, and he's smashing his fucking, he's smashing his staff down. I was like, as soon as the movie started, I said, this motherfucker would have been a slave. Already, already taken out of the movie, already taken out of the movie. Travis Scott wasn't singing about in the castle. How many other people, how many other black people you see in this movie? Uh like three three other ones. Three, and guess what? Two of them were like queen and some shit. No, yeah, ain't no way. Ain't no way. You know what? I respect Chris Fernoland. Travis Scott did pretty well, I mean, he was very small in it. He was in the beginning, and then he was at the very end. Yeah. And he was good for what he was in it for, but I was like, whatever, dude. He's the bard.

SPEAKER_05

Bards uh they they they tell the tales. That's how the Odyssey uh was at first before like Homer put it into text. It was exactly that. It was just bards. It's like uh telling the tales of Odysseus. Yeah, white bards.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. They're more than likely from the Caucasus Mountains. Yes, they're well more likely Mediterranean looking. I mean, Mediterranean's just like code for white. Yeah, yeah. No, uh uh with your theory, it's just it's just white people with a tan. Isn't that what you think? It's just white people with a tan.

SPEAKER_05

Tanned white folks, man. That's crazy. Tanned white folks. But um, yeah, I feel like uh this was Christopher Nolan at like really showcasing his directorial abilities. Like, I don't know, I felt like I haven't like watched a movie like this in a while where I like left the theater thinking to myself, like, I truly watched something special. I haven't had that feeling since I watched Dune Part 2. You cried, right? I almost cried. No, you cried though.

SPEAKER_01

Somebody was crying to the right of me. Somebody was crying to the right of me, and it felt like the guy that was right next to me. When when Telemachus is talking to Odysseus and he realizes that it's his daddy. Okay, dude. The dog, when he when the when he touches his dog, and the dog is literally also the craziest thing ever, dog has been laying in this shit pile for literally weeks. Yeah. How is it still alive? Nobody's given that motherfucker water. The blind guy's fucking exiled to his hut. Dog's dead. But Odysseus comes up and is his hunting dog, and he touches it, and his dog recognizes that it's his master, and then he passes away. And that shows Telemachus that this is actually Odysseus's father, who he doesn't even remember. Yeah. But he's like, because they said earlier in the movie, the dog's waiting for his master to come home. Yeah. Odysseus comes home, touches the dog, dog dies, and then Telemachus is like, who is Tom Holland's character? Tom Holland, Matt Damon. Matt Damon's Odysseus, Tom Holland's Telemachus. I feel like we should be telling these people these things. We should probably tell them that, yeah. Telemachus is Telemachus. Yeah. Um, but yeah, and then uh he he he looks he looks at Odysseus and he's he's like, Man, you're my father. And Sean, I swear to God, to the right of me was like I was like, dude, it's fine, it's fine. I definitely breathed in a little bit heavy. It's fine. I felt like I felt it and I was like, nah, I don't feel it. Don't feel it. I felt it. I felt it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I definitely didn't like have tears strolling down my face, but I felt it. Yeah, your dad was sitting to the right of you, dude. He would have beat your ass.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, don't do this in front of my dad. Don't cry in front of daddy about daddy, dude. Crying in front of daddy about daddy in a movie.

unknown

Woo!

SPEAKER_05

Now that's crazy. Oh man. Like, um, anyways, like uh I felt like, yeah, but I don't even know what to say, really. I'm just like like I'm just like awesome. Sorry, I didn't mean to call you out on your crying. Oh no, it's okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just like in complete awe right now. Still still in awe. I'm still in awe. Okay, well, I'll break it down then. So it starts off, Travis Scott's talking, he's telling the tale of Troy, of the sacking of Troy, and Telemachus, Tom Holland's character, and Penelope, Ann Hathaway's character, who's Odysseus' wife, are both there, and the fucking castle is full of suitors because the suitors are there to claim Penelope for marriage so they can be the king of Ithaca and take Odysseus's place. But Penelope still believes in her heart as well as Telemachus does, that Odysseus is still alive because people still speak of his name, but it's usually just like rumors. Nobody really knows, nobody actually knows, but they they feel in their heart and soul that my father and my husband are still alive. So that's that's how the journey starts, and then it kind of jumps to Odysseus, who is kind of stuck on he's stuck on stuck on this island with Calypso, the goddess Calypso. Played by Charlie Staren. Played by Charlie Stheron, who is absolutely didn't even know she was in the movie, absolutely killed it. Um and then it's it's her feeding him lotus flowers because the lotus flowers make him forget and make him not know who he is and don't know his memory, so she can keep him there because she's in love with him. And then it kind of goes back to Telemachus and Telemachus, and then introduces Robert Pattinson's character, who is fucking don't know because I don't remember his name. I don't remember his name. I know it starts with it, but we're just gonna call Rob, we're just gonna call him Mr. Battinson. Let's call him Battinson. Yes. Battinson. So Battinson. Battinson is one of the suitors. He is trying to bang Tom Holland's mom, and he they're also trying to make Tom Holland break to attack one of them because under the also, sorry, we should we should say this thing. They're only in the castle, and everybody's only left in the castle because of Zeus's law. And Zeus's law plays a big part in the movie. It's the whole movie, it's the whole message of the movie. Zeus, Zeus's law is you gotta treat everybody the way you want to be treated. So all the beggars get food, everybody's welcome in the castle, blah, blah, blah. They treat everybody they want to be treated. Robert Pattinson and the homies, the suitors, they're trying to they're trying to make Tom Holland get angry so he attacks them. Because if he attacks them, then they can defend themselves and kill him and then take his take his mother's hand in marriage and become the king of Ithaca. So that happens. Some guy tries to some guy tries to press him.

SPEAKER_05

One of the only black guys in the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, he was black. He was black, yeah. And he thought Ann Hatley was gonna marry him. Yeah. What a fucking goober. What a fucking goober. Absolutely. What a fucking goober, dude. The only black people getting married in this movie are Lapita Nuango and her twin. Oh yeah. Uh, but yeah, so they try and press him. They press him because they're they're fucking with the blind guy. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They're fucking with the blind guy, or they're fucking with the homeless guy, whatever. He he tries to step in, and as soon as he like hits them or brandishes a weapon, the black guy pulls his, pulls his sword on him, knocks him down, is like, he everybody saw it! I'm gonna kill him! And then Penelope and Hathaway's character comes out and says, Do not touch my son! Mr. Battinson comes in and says, Don't do it to the rescue. Don't to the bascu. To the fucking Battinson to the rescue.

SPEAKER_05

This child.

SPEAKER_01

So they so he takes the sword away, telemachus, uh, Tom Holland is kind of um he's he's saves for the moment, but that in that that moment, that that that that interaction causes him to say, if I stay here, they're just gonna keep trying to make me fucking lose it, and I'm gonna get killed. So what I gotta do is I gotta go, I gotta take a crew, and I gotta go find Odysseus. I gotta see if he's alive or if anybody knows anything about him. Yeah. So he takes a crew and he sails to fucking Sparta.

SPEAKER_05

How cool is it that he brought his trainer whose name is Mentor, where the term mentor comes from. I didn't even know that. So uh Homer created the term? Yeah. That's pretty cool. Yeah, fucking like the guy's name is Mentor. That's his that's his actual name, and that's where the term mentor comes from.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I thought I thought I thought they were just like I thought they were just calling him mentor as in the term of mentor, and then like he he had a name, like is in the end of the movie when Telemachus doesn't realize it's Odysseus yet, he's kind of Odysseus saves him, and he's like, His name was mentor. I thought he was just saying that to be like he didn't have a name, his name was your mentor. Treat him that way, and then then now you're saying his name was actually mentor. I'm pretty sure his name's actually mentor. Crazy. It makes sense, sounds like a name that would be in that era. Yeah, also mentor.

SPEAKER_05

And then also Orestes fucking killing his uh killing his mother, she got arrested. Like, you know what I'm saying? I mean, I think there's like a bunch of Greek words that fucking like it's like, yeah, it's I just thought it was cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Hold on, but you know for sure. A mentor I could get down with Orestes. You know for sure that that's the root of arrested, or you just you just came to that thought on your own. Yeah, I just came to that thought on my own. Cool, cool, cool. Let's let I mean I'm not gonna agree with you on that one. She was not arrested, she was fucking slaughtered. Yeah, dude. Slaughtered by her son. Okay, we're jumping ahead. Um so where are we at here? Okay, so Telemachus is out, he's going on his journey to find any news he can, or to find his father. And then it jumps back to Odysseus, and Odysseus is is is now not eating the the lotus flowers that Clypso has been feeding him, Charlie Sheron's character. Yeah. And so that causes him to start remembering all of his tales. And this is the part in the book where it leaves Telemachus, and for like eight chapters, it's just Odysseus talking to Clipso, recounting all their adventures since Troy, before Troy, and after Troy.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I'm Googling this real quick. I'm Googling this real quick. Where does the word arrested come from?

SPEAKER_01

You Google it, dude. You Google it. I'm fucking Googling. You Google it. I'll wait here and I'll wait here in patience and silence. It's Arestes, bro. I'm telling you. I might believe you, but hold up here. I need you to not search something so specific, like though, did arrested come from the Homer from the Iliad. I mean, you could probably search that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, no, I'm I'm I'm completely wrong. Yeah, okay. It traces back to the vulgar Latin arrest er, a combination of the Latin prefix, add to and reserve to remain or to stop. I was completely wrong.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck. You know what? Mentor, I'm cool with. You don't even gotta look that up. It's fine. I'll believe you on that one. I'll take you on that one. Arrested? Nope. Was not taking you on that one. I apologize.

SPEAKER_05

That was definitely that was definitely a stretch on my part.

SPEAKER_01

You're pulling it from your butthole, and I heard I could smell it. I can smell your butthole. I can smell you pulling it straight out of your butthole. I was 100% region. Yeah. Um, so where are we at here? So okay, so this is where um Odysseus is recounting his tale of adventures to Calypso. I feel like I'm explaining the whole movie here. Would you like to take over?

SPEAKER_05

I want to take over. So like uh so they do they sack Troy. Um it doesn't really like show the complete sacking of Troy yet. There's a lot of like bouncing back and forth between like timelines within this movie. So it shows the beginning of the sacking of Troy, where um they're put inside of the giant wooden horse. Horse and Sid Sinon, played by Elliot Page, is standing on guard of the horse. The people of Troy come in, they kill Sinon, and they take the horse into Troy. And then it just shows that part. It doesn't show the whole battle yet, but it just shows that part, and then flashes forward some more. And it shows him and his crew on their ship. And they're pulling up to this island. They're looking for food. They don't want to go with Agamemnon, who's played by Ben Safi. They don't want to go his way, they have because they feel like if they follow him, it'll take them longer to get home because there's more mouths to feed. So they go on their own separate way, on their own separate journey. We'll get home faster, they think, and we'll just like hit up on little small islands on the way there, and you know, we'll get our you know provisions along the way. So the first stop is this island. They're hungry, they're starving, then they see a sheep, and they're following the sheep, and they follow the sheep into a cave because if there's one sheep around, then there's gonna be a herd around. And they follow it into a cave. And they find, like, you know, a bunch of cheese hanging from the walls and the ceiling and stuff. Like, oh, this is really good.

SPEAKER_01

We should take this. Sorry, before you jump into this, I feel like we should say three more things. First thing, Cinnon is Elliot Page, and it shows a flashback of Odysseus recruiting all the soldiers to go and fight in the Trojan War. And Robert Pattinson is a ch is a young boy, and he has memories of watching Odysseus hunt and how great he was, but also when they're going to war, Odysseus doesn't want to take all these young boys away from their fathers. So what he does is he drafts a lottery. A lottery for people who can come and people who have to stay. So two people go up, they pick a piece of wood, whoever gets the smaller one or whatever, that's the person who goes. So two people draw, two kids draw, and this young boy draws, and then this older boy next to him who's young Robert Pattinson draws, and they try and switch. So Robert Pattinson can go to the Trojan War instead of the other kid. And Odysseus says, No, your son has to stay here to protect everybody, so he's gonna stay. We're taking this boy. So Robert Pattinson doesn't go, and Elliot Page does. Yes. And then also when they create the horse for the for the Trojan War, Elliot Page has no idea they're inside. Because it because if he knows, then he's gonna maybe tell somebody and everybody else might know. So Elliot Page is left completely in the dark, is lied to about being in the horse, and he only know he only knows that it's a gift from a gift from Athena. A gift from Athena, a gift from the gods, a gift from Athena. Anyway, sorry, we'll get back to the island of Polyphemus now.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so onto the island of Polythemus. And so they enter the cave, and then the rest of the sheep enter the cave, and behind them is the giant cyclops. And I thought the cyclops looked fucking pretty cool, even though his eye did resemble a vagina.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's what your dad was saying. It did definitely resemble a vagina. It looked it uh it I definitely liked the design. I thought I I was uh I wasn't surprised, but I was also a little bit taken aback how it was so much more um animalistic. Yeah, didn't talk really at all, could barely see out of its eye, to be honest. Yeah, and almost like went by sound. Yeah. Yeah, so interesting design also like looked very good.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, because like also there's a whole like iconic thing within like uh the Odyssey, like Homer's Odyssey, where Od uh Odysseus and the Cyclops actually have a conversation with one another. It's like supposed to say it's like one of the most like iconic parts of that of that story is Odysseus and the Cyclops have this conversation.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they didn't they didn't really do that. They kind of like the the the Cyclops was more like a like an animal, like a wild animal, which I thought was like a little bit meh considering like it's technically a demigod. Yeah. It's technically a demigod and a cyclops combined. So like Poseidon's the father of that. Exactly, yeah, which which they do some good exposition on because I was like, I don't know if they're gonna explain that, whatever. So whatever. They get they go in the cave, they get locked, they get locked in the cave because um the the the cyclops picks up picks up a rock and covers the door. So they're like, fuck, what are we gonna do?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so they fucking they wait for it, they it sleeps and they wait for it to wake up the next day, and they their plan is once it opens the the door, they're gonna bum rush the door and escape. And they try it one time and the cyclops picks up a dude and just starts fucking eating them. It's just starts eating.

SPEAKER_01

Also, as soon as the cyclops gets in there, it shuts the rock door, closes them off with any light besides the fire they have in front of them, and he picks off like three or four of them. Yeah. Like he fucks two or three of them up, and then he kind of just goes to sleep. This part I was like, what the fuck, Odysseus? I thought you were smart. Yeah. So the Cyclops eats two of them, lays down, and goes to sleep in front of the fire. Literally a second later, Odysseus is like, I think he's asleep. I was like, Motherfucker, give it 10 minutes. Motherfucker, wait a minute. He's like, literally, the Cyclops closes his eyes. Odysseus is like, I think he's asleep. He doesn't be sleeping. You've just laid down. How about you chill, dude? You've been at this journey for so long, yet you're like, let's get him. It's like, I was like, I was like, dude, wait a minute. But I guess he did just see his man get murdered, so I'm like, okay, I get it. But I was like, as soon as he was like, he's asleep. I was like, brother, come on, man.

SPEAKER_05

He was definitely very uh impatient. He's hasty, dude. He's a very hasty individual. He's just a man that wants to get home. He's a man on a mission. I understand. He's a man on a journey.

SPEAKER_01

He's a man on an Odyssey. Anybody want to clap? Yeah. This is the part where you clap, guys. I'm holding a microphone, so I'm not gonna clap my cheeks. Gotta clap.

SPEAKER_05

But, anyways, yeah. So, like um, the first attempt to escape doesn't work. Cyclops immediately locks him back in there. So they're waiting and waiting. They diffuse his plan. You know what will wake it up and will jam this hot burning coal inside of his fucking eyeball.

SPEAKER_01

Which is which is from the book, but I think Odysseus like throws a spear at it. Yeah. Yeah. I don't I don't think it's a it's a hot piece of wood.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think it's a hot piece of wood. Yeah, I don't think it's that. So then they do that, they piss off the Cyclops, and they escape um dressed like I don't know, they were like wearing things on their back.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so so the in the story of the of the Odyssey, what how they how they escape is they're they're trying to they're trying to disguise themselves as sheep. Yeah, disguise them. They're trying to disguise themselves as sheep, which they did very poorly in the movie. Yeah. They literally put fucking a little tuffle of fur on the back of their thing, and then they escape. Also, one part of the movie, which I really thought they were gonna do, because it seemed like they were foreshadowing it. Um Also after after they stab him in the eye with the with the wooden with the flaming wooden log, the cyclop starts talking and it starts actually speaking. Yeah. And it's turned around and it's talking to somebody. As soon as it was turned around talking to somebody, because in the whole movie, we've all we also forgot that Athena is showing herself to Odysseus the whole movie and talking to him and telling him like what to do and kind of like guiding him throughout the movie. Yeah. We also miss his essential part where before he left, Penelope gave him a pendant that was an Athena pendant and was basically like, wear this, and any rumor that comes back about you, I'll know it's true if they know you have this pendant. Yeah. So she's like, if they don't know that you have this pendant, then I'll know the rumors aren't true. So anyway, Athena's helping him, but he's so where where was I? He fucking know. He stabs him in the eye, and then he turns around and he's talking, and he's talking aloud, and I'm like, bruh, he's talking to Poseidon. He's talking to Daddy. He's talking to Poseidon. He's talking to Daddy. Yeah. So they again, like, they they wait, he opens, he opens the door the next day, and they all get on their hands and knees and they run out. This is the part where I thought they were foreshadowing that they were gonna show, which they didn't, which I thought would have been fine, because it's like, whatever, just kill a couple more. Yeah. While they're walking, while they're crawling through under Polyphemus' hands, Polyphemus has his hand laying down because he can't see now, and he's grazing the back of sheep to almost feel if it's a sheep or if it's not a sheep. Yeah. And the the fooling him with the three tufts of hay on the back, I thought wasn't enough. Because he definitely touches Odysseus's helmet. He definitely does. And he doesn't grab any of them, and I thought he was definitely gonna at least grab one of them. Yeah. Didn't grab a single one of them. No. And then after he leaves after they leave the cave and they're about to escape, what does Odysseus do that kind of that kind of fucking pisses his men off? Okay, and he turns around and he fucking shoots a thing in the fucking eye. He fucking turns around with his fucking arrogance, he shoots the cyclops again one more time, which causes the cyclops to be like, oh, now I'm enraged. Yeah. Chases them all the way to the boats. Chasing them all the way down to the boats, killing a few guys in his wake. For sure. And also another thing I thought they were gonna do in the movie, because technically it was like, he technically is a demigod.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He goes into the water and he has no like no magic little abilities or anything because he is the son of Poseidon.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So you think going into the into the ocean or something like that?

SPEAKER_05

With like grant him like some sort of like water powers.

SPEAKER_01

Do something, man. It's a time of magic, bro. There's they literally say that in the beginning of the movie. The movie starts, it was a time of magic. So it's like I thought he was gonna at least like do something. All he does is he gets in the water, dives under, eats a couple dudes that are there, and then takes a rock and throws it randomly, and then just stands there. And I was like, I guess.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, well, he can't see, he can't see where he's landing. So he's like, Yeah, he just like throws a random ball.

SPEAKER_01

But you think like he's a fucking son of Poseidon, he can at least feel the vibrations from the water or something, like Aquaman. Something, dude. Like, I don't know, but anyway, so they escape. They escape the island of Polyphemus.

SPEAKER_05

And then at this point, like uh, because of what Odysseus has done, because like uh he has angered Poseidon by uh hurting his son, the Psychops, uh Paul Paul Polymetheus Polythemus. Polythemus. Fucking I'm not good with Greek names. Forgive me, guys. I might I might stumble, uh I might stumble upon someone.

SPEAKER_01

Also, when they're in the boat, when they're leaving, they do some exposition that explains that, oh, that is the son of Poseidon. Now you have angered the gods. Yeah. So they they do a little exposition on that part, which I thought was great. The next part they get to, they don't even mention the characters' names, which I thought maybe like it's because maybe it would take you out of it or something, but keep going and I'll tell you because I don't know. Do you know their names? Uh I just know like uh Ulicus.

SPEAKER_05

That's the little fucking name.

SPEAKER_01

No, I mean like the big silver guys.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, the big silver guys. I just like know them as like the giant cannibals. I they don't even say their names. I don't even know, I don't even know what the names are.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they don't say their names on the movie. They're the okay, anyway, keep going. I'll let you keep doing this breakdown.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, okay, so like um at this point now the whole crew believe that they are cursed by Poseidon, that Poseidon has cursed them, and now that their voyage is cursed, and they all blame Odysse Odysseus.

SPEAKER_01

But it's not a full-blown mutiny yet. They're just like, it's just he's sowing doubt in his crew.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He is sowing doubt in his crew. But then the crew they come up to another island and they're like, God damn, another land.

SPEAKER_05

The more land, let's go. And they f they pull up on this land, they see like this child, a giant child, crying in the woods, and they're like, hey, what's up? He's like, we need food. The child starts screaming and then just proceeds to run into the bush, just screaming bloody murder, and then in come the giants, the giant cannibals, and they just start tearing shit up, and they kill like half the fucking crew.

SPEAKER_01

I think in the Odyssey they're called Last Dragonians. Last Dragonians. Yeah, Last Dragonians. So they're like, I'd think they're like half human, they're like also like a little, they're like orcish almost. Ooh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But so it just shows them in the movie. I don't like I seen online, I don't know if this was CGI or forced perspective that they did for these shots, but they are they're like way bigger than Odysseus's men. Yeah, Odysseus's men are like, we gotta get the fuck out of here. And as they're trying to escape, the trees start to move to start to lock them into like prison cells, so that the last Dragonians just come in and they start stabbing them and fucking them all up. That shit was brutal.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, that seems like really cool. It's like probably like one of my favorite scenes in the movie, too. It was kind of trippy, like how like all the trees are moving. Well, it was fuck, it was really cool.

SPEAKER_01

It was good, it was good. And Odysseus uh holding his medal with a Last Dragonian. I was like, pretty fucking crazy because he goes sword fighting that motherfucker. Doesn't kill him, but doesn't die either. Yeah, exactly. Well, he he kills one with a bow and arrow later. Yeah, that's later when he's on the boat.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Yeah, so then they they all flee, get back to the ships, and they're going back to the ships, and they all get there. And you'll see there is three ships with them, but then the uh Lash Dragonians they come in and they destroy the other two ships and they kill like everybody.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody two-thirds of all of Odysseus's men. Yeah. And Odysseus at that moment, too, they're about to take off, and he's like, Wait, wait, and then he waits, and then his main dude is about to get fucking drowned by a Lashgonian. Bow and arrow straight to the eye, comes back up. Sure, dude. You lick my ass. Comes back up and he fucking saves him, jumps back in the boat. I think that was his name. You lick us, right? I don't know, bro. I only know the names are like the main guys. I only know main names, dude. I I heard he says his name a few times. I was like, okay, I gotta remind this name. Probably starts with an A. I feel like a couple of them start with an A. Then those are the ones I don't remember. Like Batenson's name starts with an A. That fucking that little brown guy starts with an A. Or is Agamemnon? Agamemnon, I remember that one because he's a fucking he's aura farming.

SPEAKER_05

His fucking armor is crazy cool in this movie. I kind of wish we saw more of them. But then he they gotta make Troy know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, I mean, dude, like even just the scene at the end where it shows the full or the full sacking of Troy, or maybe not at the end, but where he's where Odysseus is following him and he's just walking through the city, walking up the steps to the main part of the city, and like nobody's fucking with him because he's got so many dudes around him. I was like, bruh, that motherfucker got some fucking swag. That dude's got some fucking aura. Swag!

SPEAKER_05

Swag. Yeah, so then at this point, that's when like the the the crew is like, yeah, fuck you, Odysseus.

SPEAKER_01

We I think we're cursed now. Yeah, but they're they're also like, we have to leave right now. And Odysseus is like, we don't have enough supplies for a blind journey. We have to turn, follow the coast of this island, and see how much shit we can get before we leave. Yeah. So they turn, they go, and Odysseus comes back and he's like, prepare a landing party. And his man, his man, a like ass, what's his name? A uh Ulicus. Ulycus is like, is like, tomorrow. And he's like, Alright, tomorrow. So they go on to shore the next day, and they they're all gonna go up, but all the whole crew is like, we want you to stay behind and watch the boats. Yeah. Because they're like, at this point, you're fucking up everything, bro. Yeah, they you're making all the bad decisions. He lost their he lost complete trust in him. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, exactly. So they all leave all the landing party go up to this hut that has smoke billowing out of it. So they have to go investigate. I'm gonna need you to take a little bit of a pause. Daddy's gonna pee.

SPEAKER_03

I was right. Mentor is his name. That's his fucking name. That's cool.

SPEAKER_05

I l I legit just guessed that. And I was totally right. I'm happy about that. I gotta tell right now when he gets back. So I was like totally right about mentor, by the way. I had to pull it up here for the people.

SPEAKER_01

You got to be right about one of them, brother.

SPEAKER_05

The concept of a mentor originates from Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey. Before departing for the Trojan War, the Greek hero Odysseus entrusted his old friend mentor to look after his palace and guide his young son, Telemachus. Hey, guess what?

SPEAKER_01

You know why I didn't fight you on that one? Yeah. Because it sounded legit. Yeah. Second one you said? Orestes? Orestes was the was the origin for the word arrested? No. Yeah. No. Mentor, I was like, yeah, I get behind that. I'm not even gonna argue with you on that. Don't even look it up, because guess what? I believe you. And you know, Achilles, dude. For the longest time, I don't know why. I knew Achilles died in the Trojan War. Yep. For some reason, maybe I've seen someone online, and maybe it was just like hate fate hate farming. Swear to god, I thought Elliot Page was playing Achilles.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, dude. Yeah, there was a lot of god I thought. There was a lot of hate farming. When they found out that Elliot Page was casted in like a secret role, everyone's like, okay, maybe it's Achilles.

SPEAKER_01

Because I seen that and I was like, he's definitely playing Achilles, and then I watched the movie, and I'm like, not fucking Achilles. Also, we're gonna get to it, and you you probably don't agree. Elliot Page has hands down, probably one of the best scenes in the movie. Okay, easy. You know, yeah, but we'll easy. We'll break it down. We'll break it down. Easy, easy. So anyway, they're fucking there. I'm glad I'm glad you got the mentor one. Well, 50% so far, brother. Very happy with most of the time. 50% one of the two, that's not bad. If you if you can keep those odds later on in the fun box game, brother, you're gonna do good.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I'm really sitting here glowing with pride right now.

SPEAKER_01

Sean's fucking hard as shit.

SPEAKER_05

Like, holy I'm bricked with pride.

SPEAKER_01

Gunself bricked with his own knowledge. Fuck out, man. I was stroking it a little bit when you were in the bathroom. Gross, dude. Just kidding. Pull it out. Fucking pull it out, dude. Yeah. Fucking pull it out. I'll fucking kiss it. Okay. Anyway, so they they pull up and then they all go up to the they all go up to the hut. And the hut is the is the hut of as they're going up, they see a lion, they see a black pant, they see a black leopard, they see a fucking cheetah, they see a fucking whatever, all these beasts. And then they get inside, and it's Circe, the goddess of the beasts.

SPEAKER_05

And also at this point, too, like meanwhile, the guys are going up to the hut, Odysseus is like, okay, well, you know what? I'm gonna hunt for food. Because if you guys don't find anything, you know, at least I'll have food for us. I'm gonna I'm gonna hunt this deer that's like in the field over here.

SPEAKER_01

I think his quote was, I think his quote was, if you don't find anything, we'll still eat tonight. Yeah. And I said, bruh, bars. Dropping fucking bars of knowledge on these bars. There's some good bars in this movie. Like, I wish I would like we watched it in the theater. I'm not gonna pull up my phone and start writing shit down. But there's some like Christopher Nolan is known for writing really good dialogue. Yeah. And this movie is a testament to that because it is like about 70% of it is dialogue. There's only a couple good action scenes in it. Yeah. It's mostly dialogue. There's mostly people talking to each other and Matt Damon um telling his story to Calypso. Yeah. And that's that's basically the movie, and it's captivating.

SPEAKER_05

It's very captivating. Like I said earlier, man, the pacing was on point. Like it like it was a three-hour-long movie that didn't feel like it was three hours. And most of that time is literally just fucking talking.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's all it is. It's like lots of exposition, lots of talking, and man, holy, I mean, I gotta bring it up now because I'm gonna forget. Matt Damon's fucking ripped to shreds in this movie, dude. A couple of times when he's got his shirt off, I'm like, Jesus Christ, how old are you, Matt Damon? You gotta be at least 60, dude. Fuck it. I'm gonna go. Why are you why how you look that good, brother? There's one part in the movie where he's supposed to look emanciated because he's been at the sea for so long. Even then he looked crazy jacked. I was like, what the fuck, Matt Dude?

SPEAKER_05

That's what emanciated looks like. Holy fucking Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_01

You're supposed to be emanciated in that sequence.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, when he when he washes back up on Ithaca.

SPEAKER_01

That dude looks fucking tired. He's fucking tired.

SPEAKER_03

Fucking Matt Damon. Matt Damon. What was that googly again? Fucking what was that googly again?

SPEAKER_05

I forgot we were talking about Matt Damon's bond. Oh, just how old he is.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yes. Yes, there we go. Jesus Christ, dude. Put your bone in your waistband, you fucking little pervert. Talking about his body got you all confused.

SPEAKER_05

Let's fucking find out the age of Matt Damon. He's probably he's a major delf in this film. Dude, he looks crazy good. Yeah. Fucking age. Oh yeah. Matt Damon age right here.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, he's 55 years old.

SPEAKER_01

55 years old, he looks crazy good in this movie. That's crazy. That's absolutely fucking wild. Yeah, I was watching some of the scenes, I was like, Jesus Christ, Matt Damon, chill out, dude. That dude like maybe just like he made me inspired right now. It's like when I become an old man, there's still hope for me. There's not hope for you now because Matt Damon looked like that when he was our age. He looked like that way before that. I need to lock the fuck in. Lock the fuck in 10 years ago. I gotta start. Lock it in, dude. Yeah, time machine. Yeah, there's no fixing what you got, brother.

SPEAKER_05

There's no fixing this. I'm gonna be dead before I turn 55 if I keep this shit up. 55, brother. That's generous. 35. How old are you?

SPEAKER_01

Don't give me 32. 41. Give me 41, dude. Shit, I don't got much time. You got a decade left. Live it well. Fuck it, Chris. I'll I'll do my best. Just kidding, that's fucked up. I shouldn't say that. Oh, yeah. So fucked up. Because people are gonna listen back to this podcast when you die, and they're gonna be like, what the fuck, dude?

SPEAKER_06

Did you kill him? Did you put a hex on him? Did you put a hex on him? Fuck, dude. No.

SPEAKER_05

Listen back to this episode riddled with guilt.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, dude, I'll never I'll never be able to listen to the podcast again. Fuck. I killed Sean. Fuck it.

SPEAKER_05

Inadvertently killed my friend. Fuck.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so like Matt Damon's body. That's where we left off. Yeah, but no, so he so they're at the they're at the hut of Cersei. Matt Damon's body is just that was just a side tangent that I was just thinking about. I wanted to keep talking about it. Okay, well we can talk about it. His V lines are crazy. God damn, the dick is popping, it's po it's popping through the shorts, dude. His pectorals on point. Make me hard, dude. Anyway, so they go up to the hut, all the soldiers go up to the hut of Cersei, and they go inside, and Cersei's like, okay. We don't know if she's Cersei. Yet, but there's obviously some some foulness afoot. But she says, Okay, I got tons of food. If you want to eat it, you gotta leave your weapons and armor outside. And then it turns into this crazy fucking body horror scene. I was literally gonna say that. Dude, it's so body horror crazy, and it looks really good.

SPEAKER_05

It looks really good. It made me cringe, which you like uh like case. Like all the guys are eating the food, they're starving, and they become pigs because I guess like once you start eating your food, you become like uh like uh the animal form that you take resembles like who you are as a person.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't take that, I just got it as her like her taking taking control of their body because the stew is obviously some kind of mind control shit where they just keep eating, and then she was like morphing their bodies, she was crafting their bodies, she was crafting them into what she thought they were inside as people. Okay, yes. That's what I thought.

SPEAKER_05

That that that that seems more plausible than what I said.

SPEAKER_01

What do you think? Who that's the thing. Now the question is who do you think the lion was? The lion had to be somebody badass. Oh, who's like if she's crafting these regular men soldiers into pigs who won the Trojan War, yeah, what it what who did she craft from the lion? Exactly. Who the fuck would that be? I don't know, because I don't know. I've never read the Odyssey. I guarantee you have any of them. I haven't either.

SPEAKER_05

I just like no, I just like know about the Odyssey.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, same. Like I I know I know peripherally about the Odyssey. I know, I know the the the the the cliff notes, but like I was watching, I'm like, so she turned them into pigs because then this is just what I thought. Um, because that's who she's seen them as inside. Because later on when Odysseus comes to her hut, she's like, they're pigs, they've always been pigs on the inside. Yeah, and I was like, okay, so she's just crafting them into what she sees them as spiritually as an animal or whatever.

SPEAKER_05

It was like one of those like moments in the movie too, they kind of like have like a tonal shift. Like it was like super jarring. It's so it felt like very Cronenberg-esque.

SPEAKER_01

It was fucking the scene where she's like where they're eating the food and they can't stop eating, and they're so addicted, and they're just shoveling shit into their mouth, and then she starts morphing their bodies. There's one part where she shoves her hand down the down a guy's throat and starts fucking him up. And I was like, bruh, this is like did not did not expect this. Yeah. Did not I was watching, I was like, what the fuck is this, dude? Fucking Christopher Nolan, dude. Like, you need a direct a horror for Lil' No. That's what you said in the card. Like, I'm not, I'm I'm definitely behind it. Don't see that in his future. I don't see it in his future. Don't see it in his future.

SPEAKER_05

I could still see him doing a really good job doing one.

SPEAKER_01

I can see him doing a good job doing any movie. Yeah. Like I like that's the thing. Like, Christopher Nolan has like a unbeatable track record. Yeah. Like, even like I was looking at it earlier. I think his lowest IMDB rated movie. I think it's the follower. It's like 70 something percent. Well, like his main, like all his main movies. Like, I don't know what the following is, but that definitely wasn't the movie that he liked. Directorial debut. Gotcha. Well, that was not in the list because guess what? Probably has such a low score that they were like, we're I had it. So was it Tenet? Tenet was the lowest one, yeah. Tenet was the lowest one. Highest one was this one that we just watched. It was 97% on Rotten Tomatoes or on IMDb. Word. Yeah, 97%. It's the high it's its highest rated movie. It's definitely in my top.

SPEAKER_05

When it said top five of the car, and then you said top three, I was like, okay, like you know, I could see it top three for sure. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I was gonna do something later. I didn't really have it planned, but I could do it off the cuff. I was gonna do you have to, I'm gonna give you we're gonna do a blind ranking. You know what that is? Yeah. So I give you movies from Christopher Nolan's um filmography. Yes. And it's only five of them, and you rank them one to five without knowing what is coming and what is next. Okay. So maybe we'll do that later. I think that might be fun. We could do that right after this. I think that might be fun. Yeah, we'll do that right after this, and then we'll do funbox. Word. Okay, cool. You wanna see my Google?

SPEAKER_05

They're not like Matt Davons, but they're alright.

SPEAKER_06

Fuck you, dude. What the fuck?

SPEAKER_00

That's so fucking disrespectful, dude.

SPEAKER_05

That's like, you know, you gotta work on it.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck you, man. I'm fucking, I'm gonna work on it. Hey, man.

SPEAKER_00

I think it's nothing's too late. God damn, that's so funny. I think it's too late.

SPEAKER_01

No, fuck you, dude. It's too late for you. I said it's too late for you. You can't do that to me. You can't Uno reverse me. That's fucking crazy. Dude, it's too late for us, man. Fist bump on that one, brother. Fist bump on that one. We are fucking washed. We're arnk. We're dead. We're washed. We're dead, dude. We're dead. Um anyway, so we're really okay. So Cersei that she turns all his all his men into pigs and like the craziest body horror scene ever. And then next thing you know, um Odysseus shoots the deer that he's trying to hunt, and as he shoots the deer he's trying to hunt, he uh I was like, what the fuck are you doing? Um Sean was fucking up last night hitting dingies, boy. Oh damn, yeah, I got three of them. Um so Odysseus goes up, he's hunting the deer, he shoots the deer, the deer dies, and as he goes up to claim the body of the deer, it has turned back into a human, the man that it was. So Odysseus is like, dude, there's some magic afoot. I gotta get to my boys. So he runs he runs back to the ship. There's another guy there, he says, Stay here, I'm gonna go up. He runs up to Cersei's hut, sees the lion, sees all the big cats. He's like, something is fishy.

SPEAKER_05

Yep. Very fishy indeed. So he gets up there and then there's Cersei, and she's feeding these pigs that like that are his men. They fucking like immediately starts feeding them grub, feeding them water and shit, and Odyssey's like, hey, I'm looking for my men. Have you seen them? Blah blah blah blah. And she's like, He look hungry. Do you want to come into my hut? And I'll I'll feed you. But you gotta leave your your sword and your armor outside. Just like what she did with his men. So he does that, but he hides a dagger on him.

SPEAKER_01

Also, hold on. Also, his men are dumb as fuck. They all bring their weapons and their gear outside. There's a clear shot of them seeing all the abandoned armor and gear from the other dudes that she's turned into animals, and they're just like, nah, what are you gonna do?

SPEAKER_05

We're hungry. Yeah, we're hungry.

SPEAKER_01

I guess that scene shows the power of how hungry they are over how well they are at making logical decisions. Because hunger is driving them for survival, so they're like, We're not even gonna look at this shit that's fishy, we just gotta go eat. Yeah. Maybe that's what that scene is trying to show, but I don't know. But I seen that and I was like, how the fuck are you not like, hey yo, what's up with all this all these shields out here?

SPEAKER_05

I think it's like a like a testament to like the selfishness of man and how far a man can go out of like, you know, like like pure selfishness.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, I could see that, but I think I'm gonna go with the hunger thing for me. Well, that too, yeah. I mean, selfishness of man is probably like one of the themes of the story, right? Of the Odyssey. Like it's one of the themes of the story, like the selfishness of man going against the gods to to to get what his king is asking of him.

SPEAKER_05

And like how far how far a man would go. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So anyway, so she uh Odysseus goes into her hut and she's like, Yo, I got lots of meat here, I got lots of food, let's eat it. And she serves him a bowl of the shit that she was serving to the other soldiers. And as he's sitting down, he's like, or no, no, what happens is the pig comes in and she's like, You could slaughter one for our dinner.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, that was fucking crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so she hands him the blade and he's trying to chase the pig around and he can't catch it, and she's like, Oh, you're obviously not a farmer. And then he looks around and he says, You got enough food. We don't need to kill this pig. There's only two of us. So he doesn't kill the pig, and then he sits down. It's this intense dialogue with him and Cersei, which is pretty good, I would say. Also, hold on, we didn't bring this up earlier. No, didn't know fucking Mia Goth was in this movie. Yeah, I didn't know Mia Goth was in the small role, but I'm like, wait, what the f- is that Mia Goth? That's Mia Goth get naked. What are you doing, bitch? Take your clothes off.

SPEAKER_05

This is the first time I ever saw Mia Goth in a movie where she did not get naked.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, well, that's disappointing. Yeah, like, what the fuck, dude? Show those fucking tiny titties.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck is that if I see Mia Goth in a movie, I expect her to show a little bit of skin.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But so she is she plays um Penelope Anne Hathaway's like servant, like her personal servant. Yeah. Who is you find out maybe later, and maybe at this point in the movie already, that she is in di she is uh fucking Robert Robert Pattinson, and she is she is betraying Penelope Anne Hathaway's character and trying to help Robert Pattinson take the throne. Yeah. Yeah, so fucking Cersei and him have an intense dialogue. I don't remember any of the really good quotes, but essentially she's like, she's like, I I let a liar into my house. You have a dagger under your under your belt or whatever, and he's like, if I give you the de if I give you the dagger, what did he say? What has this happened? Uh if I what the fuck did he say to her again? Something that happened. Like he has to put the dagger on the table, and what is it? If I if I give you the dagger, then you do this.

SPEAKER_05

Well, like uh, and he's like uh like uh he pulls out that guy's ring. I guess that guy's ring was like in the soup or some fucking thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was that was in the bread in the middle of the table. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. And that ring was like uh the ring that he gave to Ulycus. Ulicus had that ring. Yeah, yeah. And it was like to remember You lick my ass. It was like to remember like the guys that had fallen. Um what was it by the from the Cyclops earlier on the movie?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's well, it's all those. So a big theme in the movie is like Odysseus's Odysseus's um his his character, his is uh Keep asking the fucking clear. These fucking cat allergies are fucking killing you right now. Odysseus's big, big theme in the movie is that like he has to honor his fallen soldiers. So all the people at Troy were honored, they were they were buried, and as they left Troy, he gave one message to his men, and his message was sail home, but sail home in honor of all the people we've lost here. So he's a big guy of like bury your dead, respect them, whatever. But at this point in the story, Odysseus is like, we can't do that because guess what? We gotta fucking go, dude. We can't we can't honor everybody. So at a certain point, Odysseus is like, we gotta leave these motherfuckers, we'll figure it out later. And at that point, that is also a big slap in the face to the gods, which we will find out later what he has to do to atone for these sins. Yes, indeed. But anyway, he fucking I don't know what happens. He puts the blade on the table, she like takes the blade, and then at the same point, he like figures out that she is she is not who she says she is. That she's a witch. She's a witch. She's uh that's the thing. I think she's a witch, but I think she's also technically a goddess. Like it's like it's kind of like a little bit. I think she's like another demigod.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's gotta be a demigod. It's probably something like that, but um the only people that can like do magic and stuff, like uh during like uh you know, like in like Greek mythology and stuff, or actual like demigods, like demi-humans and shit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, or gods. Yeah, or gods. Um, but yeah, so she they put the knife on the table, he figures out her ploy that she he has turned all her men into all his men into pigs, and then she pulls the blade on him. As she pulls the blade, she's got this crow like in a fucking in a cage. And he grabs the crow and he's like, if you kill me, I'm gonna kill this crow. I think she's somebody important to you.

SPEAKER_05

He starts fucking like he's gonna shake the cage. If you do this, I'm gonna shake the cage.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, he no, he grabs the crow. He's got the crow in his hand. Oh word. He's gripping the motherfucking crow.

SPEAKER_05

He's gonna fucking shake the crow.

SPEAKER_01

Like, no, he's gonna snap his neck, I think, is what he's saying. He's got the crow in his hands. It's a little tiny bird. He's got the crow in his grips because he goes through the cage, because it's just a little wooden cage that they built like back in the day.

SPEAKER_05

He says something about rattle. I think he meant like fucking, like, give it the death rattle fucking because he had the like the the crow in his hand.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know. He grabs that motherfucker though. Grabs that motherfucker, and then he he like finds out it's his it's her sister that she turned into a crow, and he's like, if you kill me, if you fucking do anything to me, I'm gonna fuck this crow up. And then she's like, Alright, man, I guess it's a truce. And he's like, turn my men back into themselves.

SPEAKER_05

And then she touches his that she touches the pigs, and she's like, I know I'll turn you back to your other form.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, no, you're just she says disguised form, I think. You're just not gonna call it she calls it your disguised self. Yeah. Because she's like, you guys are actually she says to Odysseus, there's a pr they have a pretty heated talk. And she basically says, I turned your men into pigs because that's what they are in their nature. She's like, haven't you raped and pillaged your way across the seas? Haven't your men done everything that they've told you that you've told them to do? But would they have done it if you didn't tell them? She's like, they are bad men in their hearts. That's that's pretty good. Yeah, that's actually pretty good. It's kind of what she says. And then Odysseus is like, they were just following orders, whatever, blah blah blah. If you want this fucking bird to live, fucking turn him back. She turns him back and then listen here, bitch. She turns them back and there's this whole fall. This part was actually kind of funny. I gotta chuck a little of the audience. I definitely thought it was pretty funny in my head. And then it cuts to a scene of his men, because they they when they come back, they're all naked. It cuts to a scene of his men walking in from the back of her house, fully suited up again. And I'm like, bro, that's so funny. They're like, fuck, we gotta get our gear back. Yeah, they're like, shit. And then and then Odysseus is like, take everything you can for our travels, except the meat. Yeah. So then they then they take off, and then at this point, Cersei is like, Your men are never gonna make it back home. He's like, You put a hex on them? She's like, No, the truth. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

And then he asks her like uh uh for directions back home, and then she gives some directions to Hades instead.

SPEAKER_01

To the underworld. He has to sail to the underworld before he can make his way home.

SPEAKER_05

He's a long way from home, and apparently the underworld is like where they have all the answers.

SPEAKER_01

Very surprised they added that in the movie. What's uh the underworld?

SPEAKER_05

His trip to the underworld. Yeah, well, that's also in the Odyssey, isn't it? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I on that's why I said I'm surprised they added it in the movie. I didn't think they would do it as well as they did it. Yeah. I understand it's a part of the book. I'm saying I I was surprised that they added that whole sequence into the movie. Yeah. Considering they they change other things and they leave other things out. They have to. It's one of the longest stories ever, and they told it in three hours. Yeah, very true, very true. You're fucking hurting over there, bud. Oh my god, man. My allergies are keeping over here. Look at my eyes, they're all fucked up. Yeah, well, I mean, that's normal. That's your eyes lift.

SPEAKER_05

Do you have Benadryl?

SPEAKER_01

I do, but that's gonna make you sleepy. Do you have I have I have allergy medication, but it will make you sleepy. It won't make me sleepy. It really will. That's what it does, but I'll get you some. Well you'll after the pod. Alright. I'll struggle. That's the thing. I'm gonna give you 10 more minutes, and if you keep sneezing, I'm getting you a fucking Benadryl, dude. If you pass out here because you're all fucked up on Benadryl, I'm gonna piss in your mouth.

SPEAKER_05

I'll be okay. I'm sorry, guys. My fucking outs are all fucked up. It's this isn't This hasn't happened? It's me for a while. Crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so um, where are we at here? And anyway, they they all leave, they take all the provisions, and they're like, alright, back on the boat. Back onto the boat. Time to go to the underworld. Even though Odysseus's men don't really know that's where they're going. Odysseus is the only one who knows the route. He's the only one who knows where to go. So they go and they sail to the underworld. She says, Sail until the river of ice meets fire. Yeah. And then go onto land and bit dig a trench and sacrifice enough blood to fill the trench.

SPEAKER_05

So they kill two goats. They fucking like slaughter two goats, which also pisses off the gods, too, I'm pretty sure, is that sacrifice? They pissed off the gods, brother.

SPEAKER_01

Why do you think that? I thought they said that in the movie. They fucking that it was like they pissed off the gods. Uh well, tell me when and where and why they said that.

SPEAKER_04

Never mind.

SPEAKER_01

I don't I don't I don't remember that being said, but they might have. I took a piss at a certain point, but it was I wasn't gone for very long. Yeah. Anyway, so they go there, they sacrifice the two goats, they bleed their blood onto a shield, and then they wait. And as they're waiting, thousands of dead Greek soldiers come out of the ground. Elliot Page's character being one of them, and then as as they're waiting, they're all waiting. Elliot Page's character is there waiting, and then Hades comes out of the ground. I thought Hades was very well designed.

SPEAKER_05

Super cool. Okay, this whole sequence, uh, like you were saying earlier, I have to agree with you, but I think it was like one of the best sequences in the whole film. When Elliot was like really cool.

SPEAKER_01

Well Elliot Page was talking to Matt Damon's character. I thought that was one of the one of the best, like back-to-back like monologue, whatever, like back and forth between a character, especially Elliot Page's monologue. Anyway, so Hades comes up and he's trying to talk to Elliot Page's character, whatever his name, whatever his name is. Sinon. Sinon, yeah, exactly. I thought it was an A name again, but yeah, no, it is Sinon. Yeah. And uh he's like, uh he's trying to talk to Sinon, and Hades is like, let him have a drink first. So Sinon drinks some blood from the shield, and then he starts talking to Odysseus about all the lies Odysseus told him and everything that he did, that and then and then uh Sinon died, and Odysseus was like, I was right there. I was inside the horse when you died. I smelt your blood. And Sinon is like, What did that do for me?

SPEAKER_05

That was no comfort to me or something like that. That shit was bars. That was bars.

SPEAKER_01

Also, Elliot Page is like fucking covered in mud, like all fucked up, looks like he's an undead soldier.

SPEAKER_05

Can't even tell that it's that's an actual female.

SPEAKER_01

It took me, it it took me, it took me 30 seconds at least to be like, oh, that's Elliot Page. That's Elliot Page, yeah. It took me a minute, and I was like, Oh, okay, I get it. And they talk about they talk about the whole thing about um Robert Battinson not switching places with him, and Cinnon gives Odysseus the piece of wood that they used in the lottery and said, bring it back to Robert Battinson and show him his shame.

SPEAKER_05

We just call it like he called R Pat Batten.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know his fucking name, dude. I know his fucking name, A-Man. We call him A-man, but people are gonna be like, Who the fuck is A-Man? Oh Robert Battinson. Yeah, we'll call our R Patson. Anyway, so so they're like, like, bring this back to him and show him his shame, whatever, blah, blah, blah. And then um he's like Hades is like, for the rest of the prophecy, your man has to leave. So he's like, go to the ship. And then Hades tells him that he has to go home, or he tells him that if he goes they're gonna they're gonna encounter uh Kerbotis, I think is his name, and Scylla. Yeah. The whirlpool of the whirlpool of monster or the monster in the cliffs. And he says, if you if you go the Cherbotus ray way with your crew, they're all gonna die. If you go the Scylla way, only six people will die. Yeah. And Odysseus is like, I will do anything to save my men. And then at that point, Hades is like, Yeah, you'll do anything to save your men, except you know, all these motherfuckers that you lied to, they want to kill you now. Yeah. So now Odysseus is like, back to the ship.

SPEAKER_05

They all start okay. Also, we left out uh Agamemmo comes from comes back too. Yeah, dead. Agamemma comes back and he and he tells Odysseus like what happened to him. Like, it tells him, Don't expect a welcome home party like I did. If you go back home, wear a disguise.

SPEAKER_01

Damn, we're also we're also missing all of Telemax's story here. Yeah. So Tom Holland, at this point in the movie, has definitely already made it to Sparta. He's met up with Menelaus, who is John Bernthal's character, and Helen of Troy, who is Lapita Nuango's character, and he has come into their castle and their sanctum and their kingdom, and then immediately Menelaus knows that he is somebody of importance. And Helen of Troy recognizes him. Menelaus recounts the story of Troy and how they built the horse and got into the the city of Troy and fucking got out and all this bullshit and took the city, and then he That's where we see the first half of the battle. That's we see the first half of the side of Troy. We see the horse being built, we see them inside, we see his men drowning because they were in the tide. So as the tide was rolling in for the first couple days, a bunch of his men in the bottom of the horse drowned. Shows him being pulled to the castle. They take the castle, it shows him opening the doors, Agamemnon's men coming in, and that's where it cuts for that moment. But Telemachus is still in Sparta with Menelaus, and they're they like go hunting and shit. And basically, Menelaus is just kind of telling him stories about Odysseus and stories about his father from the war.

SPEAKER_05

And like during this whole time, too, our Panson is plotting on like sending some like uh basically I want to call them like assassins. He's like he wants he wants to assassinate bandits, assassins, yeah. He wants to he wants people to go and kill Telemachus on his journey back from Sparta. He wants like you know, he can because he wants to marry um Penelope, and he doesn't want Telemachus to be around because he doesn't want him to assume the throne. He wants to be the king himself of Ithaca. So his whole plan is I'm gonna kill Telemachus when Telemachus comes back from Sparta. Yeah. That's that that's the whole like subplot.

SPEAKER_01

They tribal, like, so so Robert Pattinson meets with um Penelope, Aaron Hathaway's character, is like, I want you to pick me, and it's okay, we'll just be married, and Telemachus can be king. Bold face line? And Ann Hathaway's like, you fucking liar bitch. And this is the point actually where we learn that Mia Goth, her personal servant, and Robert Pattinson are banging because they make out after, and she's kind of been feeding him information. But yeah, so they set up, they set up their they set up they set up to kill all the priests in Pylos, a city, a stop on the way back to Ithaca, and they think they're gonna intercept them and go there, kill all the priests, and then um fucking ambush Telemachus and kill him. But hold on, where where are we with Odysseus's story? So Odysseus just left the underworld. So he just left the underworld, because that's the thing, you gotta keep jumping back. Because we did fucking leave Telemachus in the in the Dust there for the thing.

SPEAKER_05

There's a lot of jumping back and forth in this movie, so it's kind of hard. I mean, like there's something's gonna be left behind.

SPEAKER_01

I think that's what I'm saying. I'm just trying to get them all in, brother. Because we're we're about an hour and six minutes in right now, and guess what? We left Telemachus in the dust about 25 minutes ago. And he's like telemachus, like Dom Holland's character is a pivotal part of this story.

SPEAKER_05

He's like a huge part of the story.

SPEAKER_01

He's a pivotal part of the story for sure. So we can't leave that out. Anyway, so they leave they leave the underworld and they're like, okay, we gotta get back home. I know the route, I know where to go. Oh, yeah, the sirens. We go to the sirens first, and then right after that, it's the charbotus and the Scylla. Like all in sequence. Yeah, all in one. It's like right after, like the sirens, and then it's literally the whirlpool right after.

SPEAKER_05

So the siren sequence, they all put wax inside their ears so they don't hear the siren song, except for Odysseus. Odysseus is like, I want to hear the siren song. So they tie him to the uh the center of mashed.

SPEAKER_01

I'm getting you a fucking Benadryl. Hold on.

SPEAKER_05

Holy fuck, boys.

SPEAKER_01

I'm so sorry. Benadryl be nice. Sorry. You know what the craziest shit is ever? Stop, bro. This is your third week here. Never once happened before. Yeah, I know. I think it's because even in has there been cats in this room. No. No. Shit's been clean, bruh. Fucking what the fuck is wrong with me? Weird. There hasn't been cats in here any more than there has been in the past. Okay, word. Again, I don't know what's going on with your nose and your fucking body, bro, but I think you're sick. I'm not sick. I think you got AIDS. That's not that. I think you got AIDS. Anyway, so fucking they go, the A ties him to the mast, they tie him to the mast, and everybody else puts wax in their ears. Literally, exactly from the story of the Odyssey. Literally, exactly. Exactly from it. Exactly. So they they cruise by and fucking fucking Matt Damon's Odysseus is like freaking out. He's like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_05

I like how like us, the audience, also didn't really hear the siren song. I felt like the sequence was like uh really well done. Yeah. I think it was on purpose. It was definitely purposeful for sure. Because everyone like it was like really quiet, like you don't hear anything. It's like all muffled and shit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so so they they do a very good thematic thing in a movie, or maybe not thematic, but they do a thing in the movie that I've seen done in other movies where the main character, what's his name, As Liccius? Uh yeah, Ulycus. Ulycus. He as he's putting the wax in his ears, all the sound from the movie drains out. So it's basically following that character because Odysseus doesn't have wax in his ears, so we're not going to hear his shit. So it follows As Liccius. He puts the wax in his ears. As soon as he puts the wax in his ears, all the all the all the sound from the movie fades out. And you're basically just watching Odysseus freak out on the mast. Yeah. One homie, one homie out of retard, I guess, out of nowhere just. The only Asian guy on the expedition. Takes the wax out of his ears and just jumps in the water. And I'm like, Swims to the sirens. What a fucking loot. But he probably got laid though. He probably did get laid before they looked. They did look kind of hot. We're distanced. I mean, they're sirens. They gotta be hot. They gotta be. Gotta be hot. So after that they get out, Odysseus stops screaming so much, so yeah, uh, Ask Lyckius knows that he could pull the wax out. He pulls the wax out, unties Odysseus from the mast, and he proceeds to tell them what the siren song sounded like. Because before this happens, this is also a bar. Odysseus is like, he's like, tie me to the mast. He's like, You're not gonna put wax in your ears? He's like, Nobody has heard the siren song and lived. He's like, Well then I want to be the first one. Yeah. I was like, bro, bars. Bars. Fucking like jumping bars.

SPEAKER_05

Matt Damon's literally dropping bars the whole movie. Yeah, yeah, of course. He's dropping bars the whole movie. Even like the next quote, I can't quote it like word for word, but the next quote telling them like what he heard the siren singing, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That whole quote, that whole piece of dialogue was straight bars. Yeah, he's like, it's everything you loved, everything you thought you had, and then everything you lost all combined into one, and it's like an itch that you that you want to scratch, but then the itch turns into something like uh undescribable or something, like it's painful. Yeah, it's crazy. It's bars for sure. Bars definitely bars, like crazy bars. So then they make it out. Actually, you fucking jump in the air, I gotta take a sip. Right. Yeah, so like after that, after that, what happens next? Um, they jump out, they jump out of the siren song and immediately into the whirlpool. Immediately into the whirlpool into Scylla. Charbotus and Scylla or whatever the name is.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so uh theyulicus has the grand ideas like we we can we can go to the uh what was it what's it called again?

SPEAKER_01

Uh the like shallows, the rocks, the pass in between the rocks.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, we'll go through there, we'll like go around the whirlpool. And Odysseus is like, no, we can like go through the rural pool and they just get lost on the other side. He had a slingshot. Yeah, slingshot idea, yes, exactly. Yep. And he's like, nope, fuck you, we're gonna go through here. So then they go through there, and they're immediately getting it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like they they betray Odysseus in this moment, yeah. And they they they they don't follow his commands, and the his first mate, I essentially that's I think what the ring means is that's his first mate for the ship.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

His first mate is like, no, we're going through the rocks. So they turn, they hit the shit, they pull out the rudders, and they go through the rocks, they break a bunch of the rudders, but they make it into the rocks.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. And then when they get through the rocks, uh, what's that creatures? Scylla. Scylla. Scylla starts snatching dudes out of the boat, out of the ship, and killing motherfuckers. They get through, they escape, and then immediately you're like this is like, you knew this is gonna happen. What else did uh what else did Hades tell you? Like, you know, like yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He's like, What else haven't you been telling us? What else have we been lying about? Yeah, and it's like, hey man, that's the thing. Scylla only asked for six people, so six people got taken from the ship, and Scylla looked pretty cool in the movie. Yeah, I thought it was gonna because I always remember, like, just from like hearing about the Odyssey and watching videos, that Scylla was more of like a aquatic and like more of a serpent-like creature. Yeah, no, I think it always lived in the rocks, like lived in that area. Yeah, yeah. But I think it was more I thought it was more serpent-like when it was described. And this one looked like it looked chunky, dude. Yeah, it looked chunky.

SPEAKER_05

It didn't really have like any like physical features.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like it just like it just like looked like a mass of exactly. Yeah, it was almost like I don't know if that's what it was supposed to be, but it almost looked like it was like mouse on the end or something, or like just whatever was grabbing it, it looked kind of creepy. It was very Lovecraftian. Well, yes, 100% agreed, yeah. 100% agreed, very Lovecraft. Very Lovecraftian, very, very 100% agreed. Anyway, so six people died, they make it through. Yeah, you Ass Lickius is like, how many? You knew and you lied.

SPEAKER_05

He's gonna keep calling him Ass Liccius. That's his name, isn't it? Yeah, you lick this asshole. That's cool. That's what I thought his name was. You lick this asshole.

SPEAKER_01

And Ass Lickius was like, bro, you fucking knew? And he's like, I couldn't tell you. What else have you been lying about? Blah blah blah. They make it through. I think this is almost where the point where I go take a piss. Yep. Again. Almost almost were what? Oh, oh, oh, oh, in the theater.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, in the theater. I think it's just almost time I go take a piss.

SPEAKER_01

Like, bro, again? Yeah, if I take a piss, I'll just say I'm gonna take a piss. No, in the movie, in the movie. So I think this is like they they escape Scylla, they're down six men, and at this point, fucking his Odysseus's men are even more, even more not inspired in him. They're even like, fuck, dude, this shit's like.

SPEAKER_05

Odysseus also did tell them, like, you guys are gonna die. Like you guys are all dead.

SPEAKER_01

Well, no, he doesn't tell them that yet. He tells them that at when they're about to get to the island of Helios and eat the cattle.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because that's why he's like, they're like, they see an island, because I think that's the next part. They see an island, and they're like, we need to stop here. And Odysseus is like, we can't stop here. This is the island of the goddess of the god of Helios or the god of the sun. And if you stop here, eat the cattle. I've been told that you guys are all gonna be doomed and you're all gonna die. And they're like, We don't give a fuck, we're hungry. So this is why I went to piss. You could take over for three minutes.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so when you're pissing, uh Odysseus literally makes them promise like that they aren't gonna eat any of the cattle. So they get there, and like uh at first, like, yeah, they don't eat anything, they're surviving on berries and whatnot, but the tide, the water isn't moving. There's no break in the tide. So every time they try every time they try to leave on their ship, their ship won't leave. They can't get off the island, so they're stuck there and they're out of provisions. They're getting hungrier, hungrier, and hungrier and hungrier.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, that's actually you know what's crazy? Left for three minutes, pretty pivotal moment. Pretty pivotal moment, pretty pretty pivotal moment into why they actually stay there and eat the cattle. Yeah. Because they can't leave. Didn't see that part. Crazy how like three minutes of a three-hour movie, yeah. You miss like I miss like the reason why they were staying there.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I was actually waiting for you to ask me once I could explain it in a theater, so I'm glad I was given this moment to tell you.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, I wasn't gonna be like, yo, what'd I miss when I sat down? But whatever. Like when I sat down, I was like, Yeah, I feel like I didn't miss anything. But also in this movie, three minutes could be like three quotes.

SPEAKER_05

There's like a lot of things that happen in this movie.

SPEAKER_01

You'd be surprised.

SPEAKER_05

You'd be surprised, man. You'd be fucking surprised. This shit is uh epic. Okay, so like uh it's also like uh the cattle's also tempting the uh his uh his crew. There's like cattle like hanging around. And then one guy even like throws a rock at one fucking cow, like, yeah, shoots it off. Like, but that's happened that happened when you were gone. They don't want to eat the cattle because they know their their fate is sealed once they eat one of these cattle.

SPEAKER_01

Interesting. And then then they obviously succumb to their hunger, and then they're just like, we're gonna eat this motherfucker. And this is when I came back, they're all eating the cattle, and Odysseus is like, I don't just let me eat the fucking cattle. Like, you're fucking doomed. Yeah. And then he's leaving, and as he's leaving, fucking Ask Liccius is like, what did you want us to do? He's like, the men would rather would rather drown than starve. And I was like, bars. Bars, bars, bars. Men would rather drown than starve, bars. So whatever, they eat the cattle, and then as they're going back to the ship, they see calm and clear waters, and they're like, This is our moment. Let's get out of here.

SPEAKER_05

They all hop on board the ship and they take off.

SPEAKER_01

Again, bars right here. Oh Matt Damon's um talking over, like uh narrating the movie, and he's like, uh Poseidon calmed the waters enough for us to be tricked into going into the ocean, and then Zeus and Poseidon fucked us up. Because that's the thing. Like, I'm watching the movie and I'm like, okay, Poseidon is the god of the seas, but every time there's a big ass storm, that Zeus. That's Zeus. That's Zeus fucking them up. Zeus fucking them up. So it was a combination, because at this point, so I mean, at this point, there's a good they're they're sailing through the storm and they get fucked up, and it's a combination of the the the water and the storm, and their ship gets fucking split in half.

SPEAKER_05

Destroyed. Because like uh I want to add this um Odysseus' men have been breaking Zeus's law the entire time in the movie. They've they've been breaking Zeus's law like very, very like regularly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but also this all and we'll we'll I mean this is the climax of the movie, but Odysseus believes that all this is happening because of his original defiance of the gods at Troy. Yeah. Like that's a whole culmination of the movie at the end where he's like, This is only happening because of what we did at Troy, and we defiled the gods, and them cutting the statue, the head off Athena, yeah, and then murdering the slave girl who looks like Athena. Yeah. Which I was like, oh, nice touch. Nice touch.

SPEAKER_05

Or was or was Zedea like uh or was uh Zedea's Athena uh manifesting herself as that slave as that as that I think that's what it was a girl. No, that's what it was.

SPEAKER_01

So like so like that's not how the Athena's form I don't think is is true in any form. She could take any form. She's a god. In the book, Athena takes the form of like a beggar four times.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Four times she takes the the form of a beggar. So like I think it's just she's taking the form of the person that Odysseus feels the most guilt about. Yeah. And that is that girl that he's seen get like beheaded on the steps when Athena's head got cut off. So he is it is like a it is like a like a like a combination of him, like you know, seeing that girl and then Athena's head getting cough. He's like, Oh, that's Athena.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, okay. Awesome. I thought the same thing. Yeah, of course. I thought the exact same thing. Yeah, cool.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah, so I bought three tickets for this movie tonight, and it was Erica was supposed to come. Supposed to be me, Erica, and Sean. So we could come back and do the podcast after. But Erica was feeling kind of sick today, so she was like, Ah, I don't really think I could come. Is there any way you could refund the tickets or possibly find anybody else to go? And I was like, I don't know, man. It's kind of late notice, but I sent I was like, oh whatever, I'll text Sean and I'll see maybe if his dad wants to come. Because Sean's dad is uh is a pretty big Cinephile, loves movies. So like I bet you he'll want to watch this shit in IMAX, why not? And it's otherwise find some I texted my other buddy too, and he was like, I'm down, but I was I already texted Sean first. So I was like, I'll just wait to see what Sean's dad says. If he wants to come, he can come. If not, I'm gonna get my other buddy to come. It was otherwise that or eat the price of the ticket, which was $22.25 for an IMAX ticket. I was like, don't really want to do that, rather have one of our friends or somebody that we know come. So Sean's dad ended up coming to the movie, and I think he liked it. I think he liked it a lot. I mean, he's a pretty stoic individual, so maybe like six words out of the man and in in like a 20-minute period, but yeah, I mean maybe he just thinks I'm gay or something, but sometimes I'm like, bro, why aren't you talking? Just say a word. Say a slur if you want. I won't tell nobody. I get it, bro. You're bald, you're white. If you said a slur, I probably wouldn't even flinch. Probably be like, alright, that's on par. Anyway, so yeah, um, it was it was a good it was a good time. I mean, packed out theater, Sean's daddy came, bought Shawnee some popcorn, bought Shawnee some drinkies. So the movie, the movie ticket that um his dad had had claimed the 2225. I said, he's like, hey man, I'll buy you a drink, buy you some popcorn or something. I was like, no, it's fine, don't worry about it. He's like, well, you don't want the money. I said, how about you just take the money and buy Sean some beers so he doesn't come to my fucking house and drink all my shit up? And he said, Really? I said, yeah, I'm a I'm a donating man. I'd fucking I love a good charity. And guess what? The biggest charity case we all know? Sean Bouvier. What up Sean's back, dude. I was just recounting the story of how I got your father to join us on the theater. Oh, yeah. Definitely listen to that back. Definitely don't cut all of it out. I could probably run a solo podcast. Don't need you. Anyway, what?

SPEAKER_05

Oh I'm sorry. I'm like feeling fucked up.

SPEAKER_01

Not like drunk or anything. No, it's it's sad. No, it's you can't definitely don't touch any of my shit. It's it's allergies.

SPEAKER_05

I know, I know, I know, I know what my allergies are. It could be like I think it may have been the gl the glad in the bathroom, that automatic spray thing. Because I'm also allergic to allergic to some fragrance fragrances. My mom like has like these candles that she plugs into the wall every every time she does. I get exactly like this. I mean, I understand. And when I first when I first showed up here, I was totally fine. Then I used your bathroom, then I come back, and I'm like all fucked up.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I guess, but that's been my bathroom for weeks. You've you've you've had you've ingested it before. It's been in your system, brother. Nothing's changed in my house. The only thing that's changed is the germs in your body, bro. You're all fucked up on germs. I'm gonna fuck you up with this little fun box game, dude. You're gonna be so fucking loopy. You got what Erica has, dude. You got what Erica has. You immediately walked in the house and you said, I got what you got. Did you kiss Erica? No. Did she like this too? Dude, she's dead on the cut. No, she's she's got like a stomach flu. Okay, okay. You got AIDS. All that fat life. Why are you so defensive about AIDS, bro? You got AIDS?

SPEAKER_03

I have fucking AIDS.

SPEAKER_01

You got AIDS, bro. You thought you're really defensive. It's not AIDS. I gotta get tested now. It's not AIDS. We can do AIDS tests on the podcast. We'll save that for when we get uh fucking cameras. Yeah, yeah. Um, anyway, so where we left off was fucking um Odysseus. All this time, too, he's talking to Clipso, he's telling Clipso the story, and he's slowly getting his memory back.

SPEAKER_05

So he's like, Well, that uh we were talking about like uh the wrath of the gods, uh Poseidon is Zeus. We didn't say what happened once they reached the water.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, I think I said it, but we didn't we didn't continue. Their split gets sh uh sh uh their ship gets split in completely half, and Odysseus is on one half, and his whole rest of the crew is on the other half. Yeah. And at that point you're like, oh, they're all dead. Yeah. This is the fate of the fate from the gods, they're all fucking dead. This is the moment. So and and then this is where in the movie you catch up to where the movie started. Because Odysseus washes up on Calypso's Island, and then he is with Calypso, and the movie starts with him on Calypso's Island with her. So the the story has come full circle now to where he has told his story to Calypso about the war, and now he is back where he is with her.

SPEAKER_05

Well, yeah, so like uh he says he wants to go home, but she says I knew the title would come when he wanted to go home. And then like uh it's like revealed that she's been like making him eat this like this lotus flower that has been like uh suppressing his memories and that he's been kept there against his will for seven years because she has fallen in love with him. Yeah, he's been he's been held uh prisoner by Calypso. Like, who knows how often he's been telling the story to her. I'm telling you though, that dick game gotta be crazy. Gotta be crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Like you Matt Damon gotta have a bit like Odysseus, never mind, fuck Matt Damon. Odysseus, Homer must have written him having a big fucking hog, dude. Well, fuck it.

SPEAKER_05

If you see Greek statues, all that have tiny penises, so I don't know if he's fucking I don't know if he was. I'm a Greek god, dude. Every single every single statue or painting of like of anything remotely Greek throughout history, notoriously they all have tiny peckers.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, dude, tiny pecker is a sign of royalty, brother. I am I I I am descended from kings. Fucking idiot. I'm descended from kings. Anyway, so fucking damn. I'm on your I'm on your edge right now where I'm just saying fucking every three words.

SPEAKER_05

So like uh they are they're he was like making a raft this whole time for like seven years, slowly building a raft.

SPEAKER_01

Well, hold on, hold on. I don't think he was doing it for seven years because I think he's been like she's been wiping his memories. Oh, yeah. So I think he's only started building the raft after she stopped making him eat the lotus flower. Yes. Because then he's like, she's like, now you're ready to go. She's like, I've been in love with you, and I fell in love with your I had to heal your body before I could heal your mind, and I could never come around to healing your mind because you were probably gonna leave me. She doesn't say that, but that's probably what she means. She's like, Yeah, as soon as you find out, because he keeps asking throughout the movie, keeps talking to Clipson and he keeps asking her, Do I have a wife? Do I have a son? He doesn't find out until like, yeah, after stops eating the Lowest Flowers, and then she's and then he builds a raft, and she's like, You need to take the raft out into the sea and let yourself go to the gods. You need to you need to let Poseidon inflict his wrath and punishment upon you. But guess what? Zeus will not let you die. So he's like, Whatever, dude. He builds a raft and he just lies on it, literally back on the raft. Literally getting waterboarded. Literally getting waterboarded. Back on the raft, back on the raft. He's like, I'm just gonna let the gods take me, I'm gonna sacrifice control. So he washes off the raft, he's in the water. Next scene, wakes up in Ithaca, Zendaya, Athena sitting right beside him. He's like, Where am I? She says, Don't you recognize your home? So this is this is where he's he's back in Ithaca now. He washes up on the island, he walks up and he remembers Agamemnon's words. Do not expect a warm welcome.

SPEAKER_05

Fucking disguised. If you if you go there, make sure you disguise yourself. Exactly. Yeah. So where does he go? He goes to see John Leguizamo.

SPEAKER_01

John Leguizamo, who I don't think we've really mentioned. John Leguizamo is like the blind shepherd from like and but he's also apparently a badass. Like duh Tom Holland is like that guy will fuck people up even though he's blind. Like he's apparently a badass, never lose showing the movie.

SPEAKER_05

He's like Zatoichi.

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

The blind samurai. He's like he's like Ching Chong Bing Bong. He's like Zatuichi. Anyway, so um Odysseus gets gets back to Ithaca and he goes, he goes to shut the bug up.

SPEAKER_00

He's like Bing Bong Bing Bong. Stop saying Zatuichi, dude. Nobody knows what that is.

SPEAKER_01

Nobody knows what that is. We're all white. Everybody listening is white. No Asians allowed.

SPEAKER_07

Um sorry through.

SPEAKER_05

He's like Zatuichi.

SPEAKER_00

Stop saying Zatuichi. Expecting you to know who the fuck Zatuichi. What the fuck, dude saying Zatuichi. I'll fucking show you. Shut up, dude.

SPEAKER_01

No, I'm just kidding. Um Zatuchi, you got me so thrown off now. Zatuichi. All I can think in my mind now is Zatuichi. Zatuichi. Zatuichi.

SPEAKER_05

We're gonna call John Ego Zambo that now. His character.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, Zatuichi, Zatuichi. Now you're now you got me back on track. Okay, so Odysseus. Goes to visit Zatuichi. Zatuichi's all fucked up because earlier we missed the part where when they sent the bandits or the assassins out to Pylos, that's the city that Telemachus Tom Holland is gonna rest in.

SPEAKER_05

And Zatuichi was listening the whole time.

SPEAKER_01

Zatuichi is a fucking, he's got ears of a fucking fox, brother. Fox have good ears?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sure. The little do fox. Ears of a fox. I said it and I was like, I don't know what has good ears. The eyes of a hawk and the ears of a black person. Ears of a blind person. Oh, that's what he is. Great. Zatuichi. Um, so they they they go to Zatuichi's hut and they say, We need all these pigs for our journey, because we're going to Pylos to ambush Tom Holland's character so we can kill him. So there's nobody who can vie for the throne but the king who marries Penelope. Yes. So they fuck up, they fuck up John Leglizamo, Zatuichi. They fuck him up, they take all his pigs, they kill his dogs, and they kill two of his boys. And uh Odysseus comes up in a hood like a beggar, and Zatuichi is blind. Yeah, Zatuichi doesn't even recognize his voice. Kevin recognizes him at all. Yeah, so Zatuichi he comes up, he's talking to Zatuichi, he's like, What happened here? What's going on? And he tells him about Telemachus leaving and the people going to assassinate him. And Zatuichi or Odysseus is like, alright, he starts fucking nursing Zatuichi. He says, I need to go there now. I'm gonna beat them, and then I could save Telemachus. And then there's a jump cut to Pylos, and Telemachus is arriving there, and Odysseus is already there as a beggar. This is a big point that I have a little bit of a gripe in the movie. So they I I I understood whatever. Yeah, you didn't they cut, and then immediately Odysseus is in Pylos, and I'm like, How did you get there? You couldn't have taken a ship with people because nobody has to can know who you are as Odysseus. You are a beggar. Did he build another raft and he was like, I'm just gonna let Poseidon take me there? And Poseidon took him there in time? I don't know, dude. I'm like, did he dude? You have to go home after this. You were fucked up. Really? Like, I'm just kidding, but like you were fucking retarded right now. I don't know. Your whole head is red.

SPEAKER_05

Is it really?

SPEAKER_01

Dude, it's like you look like Mega Mine right now. I think you're inflating. Is my face really red? Dude, I think you're having anaphlax of shock. Anaphlactic. You're fuckable. You're fools. Your throat's closing up.

SPEAKER_05

Shut up, look a purple. Keep talking. It's not deathly allergies, motherfuckers. Fucking. I don't know. I don't have them. I'm just making fun of you.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just trying, I'm just trying to get you all fucking paranoid. Um anyway, so so yeah, the the the whole jump cut, and then um Odysseus is already in Pylos. I was like, I feel like we could have benefited from seeing how he got there. I don't know. It's just a jump cut, and then it jumps to Pylos, and then Mentor and Telemachus, Tom Holland's character, they go to give uh well he said this uh earlier as well to be like just like off uh off mic.

SPEAKER_05

Like, how much more seafaring expeditions do you want to see? Oh, true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't bring that up. Like he literally just like got back from like uh what like 20-year expedition.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and all the whole movie the whole time has been just them at the sea. It's nothing but seafaring. Yeah, it's mostly been seafaring. Let's throw in one more seafaring scene. Christopher Nolan's like, I've done too much sea stuff, it's out of budget. Yeah. He's like, no more. No more jump cut. Jump cut now. And I'm like, okay, I guess, whatever, jump cut. So they get there, fucking Telemachus is getting inside, he's going to give the a gift or prayer praise to the to the statue of Athena, and as he gets in there, you can immediately recognize the fucking little fucking Neanderthal head boy that's there.

SPEAKER_05

That guy looks like a that guy looks like a fucking ree, dude. He looks like if uh what's his face from uh um Brooklyn 99 and Marcus Zuckerberg had a baby.

SPEAKER_01

Okay guys, so um, I'm gonna need you to do me a favor. I know you guys have already listened to this whole episode, but I'm gonna need you to go back and start counting the sneezes of Sean. And if he surpasses 35, then guess what, dude? He is oh, there's another one. I'm sorry. 15. If he passes 35, I don't know what he gets, but he's gotta get something. I don't know. Somebody out there count him up right in. Tell me how many sneezes Sean has had this entire episode. Because it's been a lot, bro. Sean's literally pulling gunk out of his eyes right now. Oh my god, dude. Everything you touch is contaminated. I'm not sick. You got some fucking you got something bad, bro. We have to go aside, like, take a little breather here real quick. Yeah, well, we should probably definitely especially if you're uh your throat's closing up, right?

SPEAKER_05

It's not closing.

SPEAKER_01

Your throat's closing up, right? The window's open. Hold on, let me just pull this, pull this aside. My fucking allergies are fucking killing me. What the fuck is going on? We could uh it'd be sick if I could take that screen off and then we could just podcast outside.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That'd be sick. Oh, we'd be tight. Sorry, continue. Oh my god. Um, yeah, okay, so they're at they're at Pylos. Telemachus is going inside to give thanks. He immediately recognizes Ratface bitch. Oh. And then, well, actually, no, we recognize him, but Telemachus sees Tom Holland's care sees when he passes him the wine. Yeah. That he's got a little bit of a blood of blood stain on his shit. A little bit of blood stain on his shit. So he's a little bit weary already, so he doesn't drink the wine. Mentor drinks the wine, dies immediately. Odysseus comes in dressed as the beggar because uh he talks to um Tom Holland as he's coming in, and Tom Holland's like, find me that beggar. Yeah. Because throughout the whole movie, Tom Holland is adamant about this thing that any beggar can be a god. And that's like very true to the story. Yeah. Because in the story, Athena shows up as a beggar a lot of the time. Yeah. Shows up as a beggar. Yeah. So I'm like, okay, fucking, I fuck with that. So he's like, gotta respect all the beggars. So I can't, I feel like I shouldn't say beggars anymore. It's getting a little bit dicey. Um anyway, so they go into the they go into the temple, or the sorry, they're in the temple. Odysseus comes in and he's like, I got something for you. And I forget what he I forget what he's got, whatever. He anyway, he fucking stabs Neanderthal guy in the face, fucks him up, fucks him up good.

SPEAKER_05

I think this is a this is a dagger. You know, he uses his own sword against him. Yeah, he used to be. Twits his own swords right in the fucking throat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then continues to murder everybody in the room. Um, Telemachus, Tom Holland's character, does his best to try and fight one guy and immediately gets fucking packed up, put on the ground, knife to his throat, only saved by his daddy Odysseus. Yes. Also, at this point, Odysseus is like not, he's like, I'm not telling Telemachus that I'm his dad. I'm just gonna tell him that I was my name is Sinon, and I am a veteran of the Trojan War, and I worked with his father.

SPEAKER_05

It's crazy. Also, I want to bring something up here real quick, too. How pivotal was Sinon? Like, people like uh I mean like Elliot Page was in the movie, yes. Like turns out that Elliot Page played like probably like one of the most pivotal characters in the entire movie.

SPEAKER_01

I would agree, and also like if we probably had to count up Elliot Page's screen time, it's not a lot. It's like eight minutes, not a lot, and also he was like a main part in the ending of the movie and like a whole almost like inspiration from Odysseus himself to like do better. And also, we didn't mention this. I think like when he's on um when he's on the when he's in the underworld, they tell Nayas to sail to the unknown west to give honor to all his fallen soldiers that he didn't honor on the war and on the road. Yes. So that's his main goal at the end of this journey is he's like, it doesn't matter if we leave any soldiers at this point because I am gonna go and I'm gonna sail west and I'm gonna honor everybody. Yes. So they mentor dies, Telemachus and him, Tom Holland's character, Matt Damon, leave, and as he's leaving, uh Tom Holland is like, we gotta fucking we gotta help, we gotta, we gotta honor him. And he's like, We'll honor him with fire, we'll honor him later. So they burn down the whole priesthood and they escape with the priest's robes. Yes. Immediate again, jump back to Ithaca, but I'm fine with this one because Tom Holland actually has a ship there. Yes, that makes sense.

SPEAKER_05

This one makes sense. That one makes sense for sure. And uh he also makes Tom Holland dress up uh in a in a disguise as well. Yeah, they dress up like priests. They dress up like priests, yes.

SPEAKER_01

So they get out. You wanna you want to jump in here? You feel a bit better, you want to fucking talk?

SPEAKER_05

I'm feeling a little bit better. Um sorry about that, guys. Uh, I know that probably wasn't good podcasting material. We beating all sick.

SPEAKER_04

Sneezing all the time.

SPEAKER_05

I didn't I didn't make sure that I pull my mic away whenever every time I sneezed. Oh my god. Cut mine out, dude. Terrible. Um, anyways, uh fucking terrible. So once they get back to Ithaca, um, it's like Tom Holland and Matt Damon, Odysseus, and Theremachus. What's his name? Telemachus? Telemachus. I was gonna call him Theremachus.

SPEAKER_01

That's the thing. Like, they say it a couple different ways in the movie. Mia Goss says it says it Telemachus, and then like Odysseus and Penelope say it like Telemachus or something. Like there, there's a couple people that pronounce it differently in the movie. Everywhere I've heard people talk about the Odyssey, everybody has pronounced it Telemachus, but I'm not I'm not sure. Like, it seems Christopher Nolan was like, I don't know, you guys pronounce it however you want, because definitely Miyagoth and Penelope or Odysseus, Mia Goth says his name differently than both of them do. Yeah, it's a different pronunciation a little bit, and as I was watching it, I was like, Oh, that's weird. You think you would make them all say it the same way? So it would be kind of like like more believable, but like she says it, Miyagoth says it differently, and then his parents say it a certain way. So maybe it's just like other people who don't know him, they're not pronouncing it right, but like you know, I was like, I was a little bit taken aback when they were saying it in the movie because I was like, that's never how I've heard his name pronounced. Anyway, so they make it back to Ithaca, they survive the assassins, and as they're going back up, they gotta go talk to John Leguizamo because they're like, yo, we gotta fucking figure this shit out. And then as they're heading up back to the castle, um, earlier we also for neglected to mention um Odysseus got a hunting dog when he when the puppy was very young, John Leguizamo is throwing puppies off a cliff. Swear to god, part in the movie. He's throwing like he throws like two puppies off a cliff. Yeah, and then like and then like Matt Damon's character jumps in. What's the dog's name? Argos? Sure, dude. Ass liquor, dude. They're all I think it's Argos, dude. But so Matt Damon jumps in and he says that I I want this dog. He's like, it's gonna be my hunting dog. So he takes it from John Leguizamo and takes it as his hunting dog. And John Leguzamo says earlier in the movie, the you're the the dog is waiting for his master to come back, and when his master comes back, he will die. So this dog has been like dying the whole movie. Swear to god, dying the whole movie. They throw him out on a peat on a on a pile of shit in front of the castle and they leave him there for like days.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it's because like Batinson doesn't want this dog like in the hall. He's like, you know, the dog is outside now. Yeah, it's outside. I don't want that mutt in here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, it's also bats see that's the thing. At a certain point, certain points in the movie, it shows Battenson is not really like a a primarily evil man because he saves Tom Holland and he also saves the dog's life by not letting it get killed in the hall. Yeah. And then at the very end of the movie, it shows that like he's also not a courageous man and kind of a pussy and doesn't really want that smoke because he just hides behind a pillar and tells everybody to do everything else. He's just a man that wants to get some pussy. That's literally all he is. Well, so it's also it's also pussy, but I think it's also the whole thing about the suitors is it's power, right? It's lust her power. It's power, it's power, right? Also, the pussy is a good aside.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, and also it goes back to show you like uh like uh the selvishness of man and how far man would go. Yeah, of course. How far man would go against the pussy.

SPEAKER_01

Man will go pretty crazy against the pussy. Anne Hathaway pussy? Are we talking about Anne Hathaway pussy?

SPEAKER_05

She also waited 20 years for some Matt Damon dick.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well that's that's uh I made the joke in the car where I was like, because at the very end of the movie, Matt Damon's like, he's getting he gets fucked up, he's kind of dying, and he's in Penel, he's in Anne Hathaway's arms, and she's like, No, don't die now. And I was like, bro, she waited 20 years. 20 years for that good dick. Also, there's a scene earlier in the movie where they bang. Yeah, she gives the pin of Athena to Odysseus, and the pin is what's holding her clothes together, and he takes it off of her, flips her over, and bangs her out. Lucky man.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it cuts off too soon for me. I was like, I was about to pull my cock up.

SPEAKER_01

Obviously, it cuts off too soon, bro. Chill. What's the matter with you, bro?

SPEAKER_05

I don't know, man.

SPEAKER_01

You know how many people were in that theater, you fucking berber.

SPEAKER_05

I like good gooey material.

SPEAKER_00

You just look at it.

SPEAKER_05

Like it was on the precipice of being good gooing material until it wasn't they cut it off too soon. Precipice, eh? The precipice, yes. Precipity. Precipity.

SPEAKER_01

Um, anyway, so where were we at here fucking?

SPEAKER_05

Because we had to go back to Okay, so like uh Oh yeah, so this is literally all leading up to the final moments of the movie, the final moments of the story, the final moments of the journey, the final moments of the Odyssey here, guys.

SPEAKER_01

The the the penultimate moments, which is also like the so this is a thing that I was as I was watching it, I was like, oh, they foreshadowed that for later in the movie so that it can be a real thing. Because like, I was like, how else are they gonna show that? So the big thing about Odysseus's hunting bow and how he is the only one who can string it.

SPEAKER_05

He's the only one that can string that bow. And he also has this thing, too, that before he shoots an arrow, he pucks his string. That's another big, big thing. I think it's another pivotal.

SPEAKER_01

That's definitely that's well, that's definitely what shows Ann Hathaway's character that that is truly Odysseus because he is the only one who has ever done that. They mentioned it earlier in the movie when he's talking to John Leguizamo and he's hunting, and John Leguizamo says, Why do you do that when you're hunting? He says, Because I think it deserves a chance. And he's like, He's like, Oh, I think it deserves a chance in battle or something. Yeah, and he's like, he's like, it's not battle, you're hunting. He's like, bat hunting is only battle with stealth.

SPEAKER_05

And I was like, bars, bars, bars, bars dropped by Odysseus, and Odysseus straight up just dropping bars left and right.

SPEAKER_01

And John Linguizamo, even in the movie, was like, damn. I think he says something like damn, bars. Like he says something like, fuck, that's good, bro. That's paraphrasing a little bit, but yes. Yeah, I mean John Linguizamo definitely says damn. Oh no, that was Travis Scott, sorry. Travis Scott says they date him. Cut that out, cut that out. Oh shit, we gotta cut that out, cut that out. Don't need to be saying that one. Anyway, so the the whole thing is Odysseus. After uh Telemachus, Tom, Tom Holland finds out that it's his daddy, where Sean was crying a little bit. This is where um Telemachus understands and Odysseus tells him the plan. He says, Go tell your mother that she needs to take on another suitor, and we need to make another, like a a whatever they call it, a a f a festival, a spectacle to see who can actually take her hand in marriage, but we're gonna lock all the doors and we're gonna hide all the weapons.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

One part in the movie that I feel like didn't ever come back to be what it was, and I was like, wait, what's that? So didn't Mia Goth's character take a big ass axe and hide it under like a piece of stone? What was that scene? What was that scene where they're hiding all the weapons? Because Tom Holland's character is like he tells John Legazamo, take all your trusted servants, take all the weapons, lock them in the storm, and leave them. In that fucking montage of them locking up weapons, there's a scene of Mia Goth taking a big ass fucking spear, pick lifting up a rock, and then it feels like she drops it under there, like she's trying to hide it from Mr. Battinson. And never comes back. I feel like am I crazy? That definitely happened, right?

SPEAKER_05

So I was like, okay, but while you're talking about it, I was like pondering back and thinking about it. Like I'm not you're I you're not miserable.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe maybe I'm crazy, but I swear that happened to that scene because that's also the scene where the guy with spurs sees everything that's happening and then later on relays it to Robert Pattinson while they're in the fight in the throne room. Yeah, maybe she felt bad. That's the thing though. Like, I thought she was gonna at some point, like, even behind the scenes the next day, that night, tell Robert Pattinson that, oh, there's a weapon here, go grab that, fucking kill Odysseus.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Either way, so Odysseus has a big conversation with um, so he go he goes into the the throne room that night, and when they're having their big dinner, because Telemachus comes back alive, and Robert Battinson is like, You're alive? Fuck, dude. I'm gonna try and kill your ass. Well, so what is it? Telemachus comes back, and everybody's like, no fucking way, he's back. Ann Hathaway comes out and she's like, Oh my god, my son. He goes into the back room.

SPEAKER_05

Tom Holland drops bars here too. He does. Drops crazy bars. He says something like so crazy that he shoots like Robert Panson and fucking dirty fucking look too.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, yeah, because he's like, he's like um uh the beggar comes in as well. Yeah. And he's like, Oh, you're even you're even bringing more beggars and dirty s dirty things in here. He's like, no more beggars than usual. Yeah, yeah, that's the bar. That's the bar. And he looks back and he's smiling at Robert Patson. I'm like, dude, you just barred his ass. Oh, drop the bar. It was good, it was good. That was a good bar. But he he goes in the back room and he convinces Anne Hathaway to remarry because he thinks that's the best thing, so that she can leave and he can ascend the throne and then become king. And she's like, This isn't gonna happen the way you think it is. Like, at this point, I was like, Anne Hathaway's a crazy bitch in this movie. Yeah, but Elvis.

SPEAKER_05

I don't want anyone else. I want Odysseus!

SPEAKER_01

Melby's kind of crazy in this movie. I was like, Jesus Christ. Well, she's like filled with like sexual rage. Pent up aggression.

SPEAKER_05

Pent up sexual aggression.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, so Tom Holland Telemachus convinces her to remarry, and he convinces her to have like a like a duel, not a duel, but like a tournament, to see which suitor can do what the task that she asks.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And the task that she asks is restringing Odysseus's hunting bow and firing an arrow through twelve axe handles that are crawl that are interlaced and hit hit the target. Something that Odysseus was only able to do. Exactly. One thing that they showed in earlier in the movie is that this is the Odysseus is the only one who could ever string this bow.

SPEAKER_05

There's also his famous movie, he would like to pull it out during dinners or whatnot. He was he would just like pull it out rarely during dinners and like, you know, fucking show you one of them like, hey, look at me, blah blah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was like uh an ode to how good he is with a bow. Yeah, and one thing, one thing that I thought they could have done more in the movie, so I mean, it happens a lot in the story, I'm pretty sure, is that Athena disguises Odysseus with magic as a beggar, so he doesn't look the same. Yeah. So that's why he's able to just walk around and just be able to like participate in the tournament. In the movie, Odysseus just has a hood over his head all the time.

SPEAKER_05

He's just wearing Athena's cloak.

SPEAKER_01

He's just fucking dripped up with the fucking hood over his head.

SPEAKER_05

Looking like fucking Obi-Wan Kenobi up in his business.

SPEAKER_01

He's like, ain't nobody gonna recognize me. So anyway, the tournament commences, all weapons must be left outside, and all the weapons in the throne room were moved away. So they start this tournament where everybody has to take their shot and try and string the bow and try and shoot through the axe heads. Nobody can do it. It comes up to Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland telemox himself, goes up to him because he's a little cocky bitch at this point. He's like, I said I know my dad's here. He's like, I'm like, I don't give a fuck at this point. He's like, do it. And he's like, nobody can do this.

SPEAKER_05

You've made your point, Penelope. Exactly. You've made your point. None of us will ever match out to Odysseus. So let's choose the best one here.

SPEAKER_01

Essentially, is what he says. Exactly what he says. Yeah. And then at that point, Odysseus in the back, uh, disguised as the as the beggar speaks up and he says, I haven't tried yet.

SPEAKER_05

Everyone's laughing at the beggar, making fun of the beggar. And like this this scene, honestly, is my fucking favorite part of the movie, man. I love this scene so much. There's a part of me that like I wanted to jump up and clap, but I was like, no one else is doing it. I'm not gonna do it. I really want to clap right now. I should have just done it. You should have, I would have laughed. I should have just fucking done it. But like he comes in and he strings his bow and then raw her pants and has like a look of fear in his eyes.

SPEAKER_01

But also, hold on, hold on. It takes him a minute. Because at the first part, he tries to string it and he can't get it. And then John Leguizamo's character is like, alright, time's up. And then he tries one more time and he fucking nails it. Yeah. And then you're like, everybody in the room is like, no, no.

SPEAKER_05

This is really fucking so like Rara Pantson in that moment, he knows and he fucking starts to fight fleeing. Then random black dude's like, oh my god, you Odis He doesn't even get the word out, boom, arrow right in the fucking neck, man. Yeah. Deservedly. Deservedly. He was kicking that dog. He was kicking that dog, bruh. Fuck that guy. Yeah, and then Odysseus proceeds to fucking fuck. Everybody up in the room.

SPEAKER_01

He fucks everybody up in the room. He's murdering everybody. And Robert Pattinson's hiding behind a pillar, being like, Yo, man, like we got we gotta just fucking kill this guy. So he's like, Where are all the swords? So he sends the guy earlier who in the movie is wearing spurs inside. So he's very loud when he's walking. Sends him up to the storeroom to go and get all the weapons. As he runs into the storeroom, blind John Legwizama comes up behind him. Zatuichi himself. Zatuichi and comes up behind him and says, Too loud again, man. Locks him in. So, and at this point as well, um, Odysseus has told Telemachus, Tom Holland's character, that he cannot join in on the battle because if he does, he will be exiled and he will never be able to be kicked.

SPEAKER_04

Because of Zeus's law.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so at this point, Tom Holland's character is just kind of watching his dad get his shit beat a little bit. Like he's holding his own. Matt Damon's holding his own, but he he gets stabbed in the stomach. He gets shot by two arrows. I think he gets bearded a little bit.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah. Like fucking, I think it was like Pants and it stabs him in the fucking neck with a fucking arrow. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So like he's he's he's getting fucking packed up. He's getting kind of he's getting kind of worked over. Just like what? Who said that to her? Calypso said that to her. Calypso said, Zeus will not let you die. I'll let you die. So I think that's what I said this in the car. I was like, I think that's why at that point too, Matt Damon's character, Odysseus, was like, Yes, there's the he's like, there's no way I can't die. He's like, he's not gonna let me die. The gods are real. Also, when this tournament starts, people walk in and they hear thunder and lightning outside. And one of the dudes is like, I think Zeus is Zeus is ready for the answer of this of this marriage ceremony. And I was like, bruh, fucking gods are there, bruh.

SPEAKER_05

The gods are there, the gods were the ones that guided Odysseus back home. Also, one thing I liked about this fight sequence was like one by one how people were starting to kneel. When they started realizing, oh my god, this is fucking Odysseus. This is actually Odysseus. Yeah, yeah. And they all start like slowly like kneeling one by one while Odysseus is like is like collectively like just like fucking up dudes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then then the guy's so cool. The guy from upstairs that they locked in the room, the storeroom, he starts smashing through the floor with like a big hammer and starts dropping weapons through. And as Tom Holland sees that, he runs upstairs and starts fucking trying to fucking fight this guy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Also, not very well. Tom Holland's not a very good fighter at all.

SPEAKER_04

Not a very good fighter until he taps it to what Bedor taught him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but that's the thing that was that's so that's so foreshadowed and almost like is like as soon as they started fighting, I was like, oh, I bet you he's gonna learn what John Legamo, or I bet you he's gonna do what John Leguizamo taught him earlier. Open your belly up and then get him. And I was like, oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah, all right, dude. Full circle, but I was like, I was like, I guess, I guess, whatever. The one time he wins a battle, and then what and then whatever, he fucking packs the guy up, kills him, but at as at the same time, this guy's fucking up Tom Holland.

SPEAKER_05

Like throwing down more and more weapons down the hole.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, and this is I think probably probably one of our favorite parts of the movie. So Robert Pattinson is just hiding behind a pillar. Being a slimy little fucker. Every time a new weapon comes down, first he drops swords. The Robert Pattinson's behind the thing and he's pushing guys out and he says, grab the swords, grab the swords. Push it, dudes. Next, next thing, shields come down. He's like, The shields, get the shields. Yeah. Next thing spears come down.

SPEAKER_08

He's like, Spears, get the spears.

SPEAKER_01

And it's like Robert Pattinson's just hiding in the back and commanding dudes to go and grab the shit so we can fight them. So it's ultimately showing that Robert Pattinson is a coward and probably wouldn't even really want to go to Troy, dude. Who do we got? Oh no, somebody was outside. Yeah, say something. Yeah, what's be in the podcast? Let's get it. Chill, chill, chill. You gotta chill, bro. Okay, just kidding. Don't be doing that. Anyways. That could definitely just be my neighbors. It's also insane how we're just podcasting with a window open. People are gonna be walking by and like, wow, these guys think they're funny. Yeah. Anyway, let's close it now. Let's forget about the window. No, you're gonna if you close it, you're gonna be like, Aju!

SPEAKER_05

Aju! I've actually been like feeling a lot better now. The window's open. Close the blind then. Yeah. I don't know if you've noticed. Move your beer though. Nose is so stuffed still.

SPEAKER_00

Literally goes, it's just so full of shit still. Holy fuck, man.

SPEAKER_05

I'm so sorry about that. The first half of this podcast was not good on my end. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

You're fine, dude. You're fine. It's all good. I think we're having a great time. Hey, do you know how long the movie was and how it flew by? Yeah. Guess how much? Guess how long we've been recording already? Two and a half hours almost. An hour and 57 minutes, which is like very long, and I don't feel like it has been.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think it's been that long either. Yeah, we're already a good time.

SPEAKER_01

Hold it down, I'm gonna piss. Okay, word.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna hold it down. Ray's gonna piss. We're holding it down. Yeah, don't want to miss this. Ha!

SPEAKER_01

Okay, let's fucking Yeah, raise back. Let's fucking let's end this motherfucker. Okay, so Odysseus comes fucking everybody up. He kills everybody, kills fucking kills Robert Pattinson. Um says at this point, it's like cut the head off the snake and all the body will die. As soon as he kills Robert Pattinson, everybody's like, we're done. We're stopping.

SPEAKER_05

We're not gonna fuck with you anymore.

SPEAKER_01

We kneel to the king. So it ends with Odysseus being on the stairs almost dying, and Penelope being like, don't die, I need to suck your dick one more time. Dude, she was fucking boisted.

SPEAKER_05

And he's like she literally locked herself in the room and like fucking like listening to all these dudes getting murdered on the other side of that door.

SPEAKER_01

And she's like, there's like flicking her bee in the hole. Also, one thing that I didn't that that we didn't mention earlier, yeah, she's definitely flicking her bee and she's so wet. She's like, oh my god, she came back for a while. She's also so wet because she killed everybody.

SPEAKER_00

She's fucking wet.

SPEAKER_01

She's wet, dude. She's wet. She's dripping. Don't die me. Snow my fingers. Also, she locks me a golf. I don't know how that's gross to me. I don't like it. But yeah, she fucking she starts fingering her bean and then just fucking shoves it in his mouth. She fucking flicks her asshole a little bit. She's like, You remember that taste, right? He's like, Oh, that's shit. Smell my fake, guys.

SPEAKER_05

Don't die. It's like smelling salt, brother.

SPEAKER_01

And then and then he's like, he's like, he's like, I'm not gonna die. Because he's like, I just want to see Ithaca for one last time. And she's like, Don't die on me. And he's like, I'm not gonna die. Exile. Yeah. And then and then it cuts, and then the board of this the ship.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

And uh Telemachus, they they leave Telemachus to to rule Ithaca, and uh Penelope and Odysseus decide to just go in exile, go to the the forbidden I was gonna say forbidden west, like what the fuck? Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah, they're going to the forbidden. They're going to the forbidden west. The unknown west, something they call it too. But yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so so they leave, they they they sail off, and they're like, Telemachus is king now, he is the king of Ithaca. This is the end of the movie. It also mirrors earlier in the movie, before Odysseus was leaving. Penelope told him, We could just get on a ship with all your best men and sail into the horizon and sail into the ever-setting sun. Yeah. And that's how they end the movie. Yeah. Which I thought was pretty good. I thought it was pretty good. Dude, easily for me, 9.5 out of 10. Probably one of Chris Pernolin's best movies. The only thing that took me out was Travis Scott not being a slave. Yeah. And um the the Odysseus teleporting. Oh, and Tom Holland's sometimes being a little bit bland in his delivery. I I feel like uh I give it a nine out of ten for me. Yeah. Nine out of ten. For real.

SPEAKER_05

I'm teetering on nine point five, but I think nine five.

SPEAKER_01

I'm going 9.5. Don't let my my decision influence yours. Be your own man.

SPEAKER_05

Maybe a little bit, but uh, I think with a second watch, it'll go to 9.5. But right now it's a 9 out of 10 for me. Uh, I don't have the same feelings as he. I thought Tom Holland was good, even though he just seemed like Tom Holland. Also, John Burnthal just seemed like John Burnthal.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, but we never really thought about John Burnthal. I thought he kind of did alright, but yes, I agree.

SPEAKER_05

He was just John Berthall. And also he dropped his iconic John Berthall line. Let me tell you something. He said that in this movie, too. He fucking said that in this movie. Yo, let me tell you something, you telemacchus. Let me tell you something, Telemachus. He did say, let me tell you something. He dropped his iconic. Let me tell you something. He did. I clocked it. Fucking it was just John Berthel being John Berthel. Yo, let me tell you something about your dad Telemachus. Let me tell you something about Troy. Let me tell you something. Yeah, like, you know.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't catch that.

SPEAKER_05

I caught it right away. I was like, I was like, there it is. Yeah. John is iconic. Let me tell you something. That's so funny, dude. And then Elliot Page at first, her first appearance did pull me out of it a little bit. And then uh it was like when I saw her dead covered in mud. I keep saying her. I'm sorry if I offended anybody.

SPEAKER_01

I said him the whole time, dude. I'm great at pronouns.

SPEAKER_05

When I saw him covered in mud doing that scene that Ray talked about earlier, the back and forth with him and uh in uh Odysseus. That's when yeah, Elliot Page uh kind of shined in that scene. I'm not gonna lie, lie to you about that. Yes, but then it was amazing. All the other scenes when he was in a live sit on.

SPEAKER_01

But he's also like he's also not given a lot in those scenes. Like, what is it? The first scene where he gets nailed to the fucking Trojan horse and killed. Just what is he supposed to act his ass out in that scene where he's literally doing not much?

SPEAKER_04

It was just very feminine to me. It is the there's the it is it is just kind of feminine.

SPEAKER_01

You're just trapped in your heteronormative beliefs, bro. Yeah. You need to open your mind, dude. Some of these dudes are girls now, and some of these girls are dudes now.

SPEAKER_05

But it wasn't enough for me to hate all the movie, like most people are hating on it, like, oh, oh, oh my god, there's a there's a black Helen of Troy, there's Elliot Page. Oh, I'm not gonna watch the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Didn't take me out of the movie at all. Didn't take me out of the movie at all. Not any of them took me out of the movie at all. Black Helen of Troy, I was like, I watched it and I was like, it's Lapina Nwango, dude. And also it checks out.

SPEAKER_05

And also, Zeus literally impregnates, I forget the woman's name, but he impregnates Helen's mom as a fucking swan. He comes down as a swan and fucks this girl as a swan, and she lays an egg which births Helen of Troy's sister. That's game, dude. That's fucking that's that's on game. Helen of Troy literally isn't even a human being.

SPEAKER_00

What do you mean she's a human being? Do you see that black pussy? That black pussy. She was born from an egg.

SPEAKER_05

You know, like we're getting mad about the color of her skin you all. She's like literally born from an egg. It's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we also left out a big part, so I mean, we're ending the review here, but we also left out a big part where Agamemnon went home, and the reason why he told a killer told Odysseus not to expect a warm welcome is because when he went home, he was killed by Helen of Troy's twin sister, his wife, was plotting with her lover the whole time that as soon as he got home, they were gonna kill him. So he got home and he was immediately murdered by her by his wife.

SPEAKER_05

Well, they whined and nine him first, you know. Well, they didn't want to be a little bit. Yeah, massage him, you know. As soon as he was laid down to get his kick sucked. Like fucking, he was wanted to get fucking like straddled by this fucking black goddess. Dome. Dome, let's be real. No, dude, fucking she was like lifting up her skirt like that, you know. Dude, it was ebony. She was gonna fucking give that fucking ebony fucking like fucking BB dub, bro.

SPEAKER_01

No, it was ebony throat queens all the way. Yeah, word can't. I don't know if you've ever seen the subreddit. Great. Check it out. Word, I'll check it out. It's so funny that I feel like I've inspired you to stand up. You have. Sometimes I'm just like hitting the stand on the pause.

SPEAKER_05

You're starting to breathe better.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think you are. I don't know. Anyway, okay, so I don't know you are. I don't think you are, but anyway, so the movie's over. Um, yeah, nine point anyway. So we both give our ratings. I think we're there. Yeah. Nine out of ten for me. Okay, cool. So are you ready to jump in the fun box?

SPEAKER_05

I am, but I want to go for a smoke first because I think I don't think a smoke is gonna help you. If I go inside, it's the fresh air. Just trust me. Okay, let's go. All right, we'll be back in. We are back, guys. Um, this next part of the podcast is gonna be a lot more better because um I'm starting to feel better out of nowhere, because I feel like the fresh air really helped me out a lot. Um, my allergies are terrible. And I apologize if that first half of the podcast was uh bad on my end.

SPEAKER_01

I think we did good. I think we did good. I think it's been good so far. And you know what? Stop doubting yourself. You're a great man. But guess what, brother? This week, I am your host. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to It's Fun Food. All right, so Sean has already been made aware of this in advance. His category for this week is going to be monster movies. Yes, let's go. All right, Sean. How are you feeling this week about this round? I feel like uh about 50-50 about it. 50-50.

SPEAKER_05

I have watched a lot of monster movies, so I get it's a very broad range of uh it could it could be anything, really.

SPEAKER_01

It could be anything. So I will give you a small hint. I am a good friend. I know you're you're you're one of the best friends I got. Um do you recall in my last episode of Funbox when I did heist movies? Yes. And I said Avengers Endgame. Yes. And you said, Wow, I never thought about that. Yes. Think that way this week. Okay, so it so could so the monsters that could probably be humans then, too. Just all I'm saying is I I look through a list of monster movies and ones that I know you've a hundred percent seen. Monster, Charlie Stern. Wow, didn't even cross my mind. What a great one. Putting that on the list. Putting that on the list. Didn't even think about that. Great, wow, holy fuck! Crazy how that never crossed my mind. Wow. Oh my goodness, brother. Been blowing my mind since 2009. Just kidding. I don't know when I met you. 2011, baby. Okay, so are you ready for this one? I'm ready. So your first clue for your first movie in the category of monster movies is going to be, and these are all, I think this is the only one that I'm not sure if you haven't seen. Yeah. But I'm sure you have. Okay. We need more of the brother-sister duo in horror films.

SPEAKER_05

A brother-sister duo and horror films. This is a handsome griddle. Brother, sister duo in horror films. Huh. Brother, sister duo in horror films. And it's uh it's a monster movie. Godzilla.

SPEAKER_01

One more guess, and we will move on to the next question, my friend.

SPEAKER_05

Your mom's yelling from the other room. Monster Mash. It's definitely.

SPEAKER_06

Mother! Please! Please go to bed. That wasn't my answer. That was no answer.

SPEAKER_01

You need more brother and sister and monster movies. I also didn't know if you knew this one, so maybe by the fourth one, you're definitely gonna get it.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, okay. Give me give me clue number two. Clue number two is the two.

SPEAKER_01

Clue number two is 2000's horror fucks really hard. Oh my god. So I have given you a small timeline. Oh my god, okay.

SPEAKER_05

Brother and sister, 2000s horror. It's a monster movie. Brother and sister, 2000s horror monster movie.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so you have all the facts correct.

SPEAKER_05

I know I'm thinking the thing stir. I don't mind.

SPEAKER_01

I am letting the thought stir. I am just trying not to make dead air. Or as one would say. Corpse queave. Corpse queee. We're gonna start integrating that again in the podcast. It's it's a bit that has been long since forgotten, and we are only on the 15th episode of the show. I use it a few times, but don't worry. I'm still gonna use it. I've been listening, hasn't been used in ages.

SPEAKER_04

Hasn't been used since episode four.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, do you have a guess? Oh my god. Okay, so uh would you like me to read any more of the clues back to you? Also, feel like also, okay, hold on. Two other things before we start guessing. Yeah, maybe there could be a thing where it's like, I I don't think it's I think it's fine to just read the clues back to anybody as many times as they want. I think there could also be a thing because we're doing categories. Yep. Because I'm I'm playing fast and loose sometimes with the categories. I think there should be a thing where it's like uh you could challenge if the thing is actually fitting to the category, and if it isn't, then maybe you lose. But that's the thing. There's only two of us here. Who's gonna decide what the challenge is? Exactly. Okay. All right. So that's not gonna work until we get a third person in the mix. Yes.

SPEAKER_05

It might be our friend Tomato.

SPEAKER_01

Tomato! Anyway, we're gonna keep this podcast going and we're gonna keep it rolling. Do you have a guess, sir? Oh, for this one? No, I do not. I can't really think of it. We are moving on to clue number three for three points. I honestly don't see the big deal. He's just hungry. He's just hungry.

SPEAKER_05

Two thousands horror film. Monster movie, I mean. That has a simple movie. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And he's but it has also been told to you in the last clue that this is indeed a horror movie. Yes. 2000s horror fucks really hard. It does fuck really hard. Oh my god. Um brother and sister duo.

SPEAKER_05

We've already established that it's not Hansel and Gretel. It is not. I mean, it was more of like an action fantasy. No, there there was the there was a different one. There was a a different one. I would have never have guessed that you have seen that movie. They had that chick from like uh from It in It and stuff. Fucking that movie was actually pretty wild. It was like a very artsy Hansel and Gretel film. If you say so, sir. Oh, but we already know it's not that. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

It is not that.

SPEAKER_05

Uh we already said it's not Godzilla. It is not Godzilla. Like, not the remake of Godzilla.

SPEAKER_01

Any Godzilla, I would have to make you give me a date. Oh, well, there was there was the one for the. But there is no Godzilla answer in this question. Is it the the the the thing remake? It is not. But I guarantee you, if you do not get it on this next one, I have guaranteed that you at least get one point.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, give me the next clue. Fuck me, man.

SPEAKER_01

My sister used to terrorize me with the song. Crying laughing emoji.

SPEAKER_05

Oh. My god.

SPEAKER_01

So there is a song associated with this movie. It is also about an a villain who is hungry. Two thousands. Brother and sister duo. A villain who is hungry. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

A villain who is hungry. There's a song she used to terrorize you with, and the villain is hungry. Oh my god, dude. Oh my god. Am I mentally retarded? I don't think so. Maybe you haven't seen this movie. I may have. I mean I know I know I have.

SPEAKER_01

If you do not get it on this next one, I will know you have not seen this movie, and I will take it as a wash.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, give me the next question.

SPEAKER_01

Who had the better unnecessary backflip? Leon Kennedy or the Creeper? So the Creeper is obviously the name of the monster.

SPEAKER_05

It's not Resident Evil fucking two, is it? Who had the most unnecessary backflip? Oh my god. Leon Kennedy or the Creeper. There's a movie called The Creeper. Have you not seen this movie? Maybe I had it. What's the movie then? I just tell you what the movie is.

SPEAKER_06

Jeepers Creeper. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

You've seen it, right? Yeah. Okay, then you don't get the you don't get the the you don't get the wash. Oh. That's zero points for that one. Why was that so hard for me? I don't know, dude.

SPEAKER_05

You've definitely seen Jeepers Creeper. Justin Long. I've seen Justin Long, yeah. Brother and Sister Duo. Two thousands whores. It's been a while. I thought that was him and his girlfriend. Anyway, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well that's been a while. Brother, I apologize, but that's a zero.

SPEAKER_07

That's a fucking zero.

SPEAKER_01

I really feel bad. That's a zero. I feel bad. All right. Are you ready?

SPEAKER_05

I can't I botched that shit so hard.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like the clues were pretty decent, too. Like I gave brother and sister. I gave timeline. I gave he's hungry. I gave there's a song in it. Even in the last clue.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god, we're back. Oh my god, I'm back in it.

SPEAKER_01

And I even told you the name of the guy. I said the better unnecessary backflip, Leon Kennedy or the Creeper. And I was like, dude, this movie is synonymous with me because I'm like, it spooked me a little bit. It was creepy. I've only ever watched it like maybe like once or twice. Okay, well, whatever. That's payback, I guess, for the Inglorious Bastards. That's definitely payback for the Inglorious Bastards. That's the thing. Every other movie on this one, that's the thing. I don't know if you've seen more than once, but they're definitely memorable to you. Okay, where than they're also more recent. I'll give you that clue. Okay, where? Because I feel bad for the zero. Don't worry. Don't worry. It's okay. Are you ready for your second movie?

SPEAKER_05

I believe I'm ready. I believe I'm ready. I believe in myself. Let's go.

SPEAKER_01

Best movie about fracking ever made.

SPEAKER_05

Best movie about fracking ever made. Fracking is literally like uh taking natural resources out of the land. That's what fracking is. So we're taking natural resources out of something. And it's a monster movie. And it's more and it's recent. And uh KO. Is it The Gorge?

SPEAKER_01

Always in my mind, as I'm guessing as well. I don't know why I'm giving you tips and tricks here, but always think of anything that could be tongue in cheek. Something that could say something but mean the complete opposite. Or something that you would never think of. No more tips from me tonight. This has been your host, Raymond Coss. When I think of fracking, I think about mountains. Okay. Think about mountains. I'm not gonna give you any more than this, but I will talk to you about it. Pew, pew, because people like frack mountains. Like it usually is mountains that are getting fracked. I frack a mountain like a motherfucker. If you want to give me your second guess, I will gladly take it. Oh otherwise. Let me stir a little bit here. I'm letting you stir. I'm just saying, bro.

SPEAKER_05

Let me stir here. Case like case of fracking, fracking.

SPEAKER_01

This is gonna be a three-hour episode minimum. Oh, definitely. Case of mini.

SPEAKER_05

So fracking, fracking, fracking.

SPEAKER_01

Because we also are doing the blind ranking of Christopher Nolan's movies, which we forgot to do earlier. Yeah, we'll do that. Okay, give me the next fucking clue. Next clue for you for four points, my friend. Oh my god, I better get this one. The gaze getting the right to adopt is a direct effect of this movie, and yes, it is that serious.

SPEAKER_05

She's not really a boy, she's a robot. She's an android. She's an android. You said the uh the end game thing comes into play here too. So like, okay, so oh my god, fracking homosexuality.

SPEAKER_01

I need you to step out of your brain for a minute and stop thinking of monsters in the traditional way. Okay. I'm gonna give you another clue after this next question. And because I like, I don't know, man. Like, I I don't want this to just be like me getting all the shit right now.

SPEAKER_05

Is it the gray? The gray?

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. No. Because the next the next clue I'm gonna give you is gonna give you a name of one of the main characters in the movie. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

I don't know if I want that one. Well, you're gonna need it, it seems. Okay. Give it to me, man. Give it to me. Give it to me.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, for three points, my friend. Everybody or everyone needs a mic in their life. Everyone needs a mic. Again, I need you to step out of your reality and think. Is it dreamcatcher? Incorrect.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

I have two clues I want to give you. The first one is gonna be a lot more subtle. The second one is going to give it away. Hold up here. Let me keep thinking here.

SPEAKER_05

Let me keep thinking. Okay, so we have it can't be, it's not uh a conventional monster film. We know this already. Um so it's also got fracking involved.

SPEAKER_01

So stop thinking of fracking in the traditional sense. Okay. Stop thinking about the descent. Is the the descent? Correct.

SPEAKER_03

Fuck me, dude.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna give you one more hint because you have one more guess on this point value. Yeah, give me give me one more hint. Do you remember earlier when I said monster movies and you immediately thought of the movie monster?

SPEAKER_05

Oh, so it's a person.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_04

Is it Friday the 13th?

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. We must go to the next clue now. Fuck. Laughter is much more powerful than fear. Black phone.

SPEAKER_05

Laughter is much for my hit.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna give you one more hint because I want you to get two points at least.

SPEAKER_05

Laughter is much more powerful than that.

SPEAKER_01

Do not guess. Don't guess yet. Think, what was your category for me last weekend? Animated movies. So this is an animated movie then.

SPEAKER_05

Laughters are powerful in fear. Monsters Inc.

unknown

Ding ding ding!

SPEAKER_06

We got the answer for two points.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

That was good. Dude, that was those questions. I never would have thought Monsters Inc. Those clues? I'm like, dude. I was thinking about fucking homosexuality.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, yeah, well, I yeah, I feel bad now. That was that's what I was trying to give you some more hints. The la the last clue was Door City over here. Okay, well, that's what I wanted to give it away. I mean, I hope so. Okay, well, this one, this next one, dude. I really hope you get this. Monsters ink, that was good. I really hope you get this because like these last couple, I'm like, oh, you have to get these. Okay, we're okay. Are you ready for movie number three? I'm fucking ready, man. Let's go. Let's go. I was entirely way too high to handle this movie.

SPEAKER_06

That could be any movie. What do you mean? How could that be any movie? You have to think of a movie that goes crazy. How is that any movie?

SPEAKER_01

There's so many. But you it's in the category of monster movies, dude. What, Cloverfield? Incorrect.

SPEAKER_03

Godzilla?

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. King Kong? Fuck me, dude. When the mommy kink goes too far. Oh.

SPEAKER_05

Is it fucking uh okay, what's that fucking movie? They're in the fucking woods, and they find that uh the the fucking the feral children. And like uh mama!

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect.

SPEAKER_05

Mommy kink.

SPEAKER_01

And I can guarantee you've seen this movie. Probably more than once. Ooh.

SPEAKER_05

Mommy King. Hereditary.

SPEAKER_01

Correct. Are you ready for your next looser?

SPEAKER_05

I'm not ready yet. I'm not ready yet.

SPEAKER_01

I'm ready. Fuck it. Alright. This is a long one. Bear with me. The best Wes Craven movie Wes Craven never made. Gleefully perverse. Genuinely fucked up. Wildly entertaining. More than a little bit subversive. Maybe the wildest genre film of 2022. The best Wes Craven movie that Wes Craven ever made. And see what I mean? Like, you're like, oh, these clues suck. Brother, I gave I g I'm giving you years and shit. I you've never once given me a clue that gave me a fucking release date.

SPEAKER_05

2022. 2022.

SPEAKER_01

Repeat that question again, actually. Repeat that clue? I will do my best. The best Wes Craven movie Wes Craven never made. Gleefully perverse. Genuinely fucked up. Wildly entertaining. More than a little bit subversive. Maybe the wildest genre film of 2022. This question also has honorable mentions because I couldn't figure out which clues to include. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Evil Dead Rise.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect.

SPEAKER_05

Black phone.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect.

SPEAKER_05

So I'm thinking about like Wes Craven right now. Things that Wes Craven may have directed.

SPEAKER_01

Well, this is a movie that the best Wes Craven movie Wes Craven never made.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. So it is not Wes Craven. I know. That's why I said black phone.

SPEAKER_01

He's also been dead in 2022. He died before that, didn't he?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so I was thinking that's why I was thinking of thinking black folks. Black phone's alright. I'm not mad at the gifts of black folks.

SPEAKER_01

Black phone's alright, but the mommy kink doesn't make sense. Mommy kink. Ooh, okay, so it's Molly Kink. Fuck me, man. Go for the next one. Damn, you can't have shit in Detroit. Crying emoji, crying emoji, crying emoji. You can't have shit in Detroit. It is adult breathe too. Correct. You can't have shit in Detroit. So the movie is based in Detroit. Barbarian.

unknown

Ding ding ding!

SPEAKER_06

We have got the answer.

SPEAKER_05

There we go.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, alright. That's two points. Hold on. Let me lock this in here at two. And then I'm gonna read you the rest of these clues because some of them are honorable mentions. Yeah. The last the last clue is the most fucked up Airbnb commercial ad I've ever seen. Oh my god. My honorable mentions are Detroit Become Baby. And the Descent 3, How I Met Your Mother. I see both those. I was like, I don't know if I want to add those in because I was like, I was gonna switch them in for like the last two, and I was like, both of those I think he would probably get.

SPEAKER_05

That's fucking awesome. Okay, word. Oh, I I botched the first two. Uh I botched all of them so far.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're doing fine, dude. You know what? These last two, I feel like you're gonna nail.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. So barbarian, fucking K. I got barbarian so far. I'm happy with that. I'm happy with that one. Alright, let's go. Give me the next one. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And also, it's funny how you're like, I read a five, a five-point question, and you're like, how am I supposed to know that? And I'm like, dude, it's worth five points. It's not supposed to be easy. Yeah, I know. It's not supposed to be easy. It's not supposed to be easy. You every time you give me questions, you give me the easiest one first, and you gotta get better at rearranging your questions.

SPEAKER_05

I gotta get better at rearranging my questions.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so this is your fourth movie, my friend. Alright, let's go. Got a new weed guy, and this came on Sky just when he had popped in, and we ended up watching all of it together. Repeat that. Sorry, one minute, my phone closed. Got a new weed guy, and this came on Sky just when he had popped in, and we ended up watching all of it together. Cabin of the Woods. Incorrect. But wow, that's a great guess. I didn't even put that on my list.

SPEAKER_05

Because I heard weed guy, and I was like, oh, Cabin of the Woods. Cabin of the Woods is a good guess. I like that. Okay, got a new weed guy. Can I ask for another repeat? Can I ask for one weed?

SPEAKER_01

I will give you one more repeat. Yeah, one more. Got a new weed guy, and this came on Sky just when he had popped in, and we ended up watching all of it together. To be honest, sometimes when I'm giving you when I'm giving you these first ones, it's never anything that's gonna give anything too much weight of the movie. At this point, you just kind of gotta guess, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I should get better at that. Mandy.

SPEAKER_05

Is it Mandy? Incorrect. I'm thinking of movies that you want to watch when you get stoned.

SPEAKER_01

I want to almost give you a hint right now.

SPEAKER_05

No, I don't give me a hint.

SPEAKER_01

Are you sure? Because it's it's gonna be a slight one.

SPEAKER_05

The color from outer space?

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. I'm gonna give you a hint. You've guessed it already tonight. You only get one more until the next clue.

SPEAKER_04

Hereditary.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. Second clue for four points is the things men do for some puss.

SPEAKER_05

Oh. The things men do for some puss. And I already guessed this movie earlier tonight. Things men do for some fucking puss, dude. Fucking Christ. I already established that it's not hereditary. The things men do for some puss, Godzilla.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. Which Godzilla would you have been guessing? Why were you fucking like, I don't know. Okay, good to know. You didn't know either. Fucking King Kong, brother. Is that what you're guessing? Yeah. Incorrect. That's a good guess, though. Wow. Thanks to that when you were supposed to. Wow, that's a great guess. That is not it. Not even on my list.

SPEAKER_05

Son of a bitch. I already guessed it earlier tonight. Nightmare on Elbestree.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. On to the next clue for three points. Well, that was an abrupt ending. Big monsters. Whoopsie, yes, it's a little bit. Clover field. Ding ding ding. We have gotten the next one. That is. I just dropped a drink all over the ground. Didn't spill a drop though because it was closed. Hold on. That was three points, though.

SPEAKER_05

No, it was three points, yes, and I have I have four.

SPEAKER_01

No, you have you have you have more than four, my friend. You are sitting at for this round so far, you were sitting at seven points. Okay, okay. That is already better than your last episode. But okay, I'm gonna read you the next two the next two clues that I had. Okay. Let me punch the cameraman, please. So I figured I figured that would tell you like it's a found footage movie. Yeah. Last part is, and this this is where I was like, you have to get it on this. The best part of this movie is when TJ Miller shuts the fuck up. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, dude. TJ Miller's the cameraman. Yeah. Fucking Christ. Okay. All right. Are you ready for your things I gotta go through to get some pussy? Like it's his ex-girlfriend's on the on the other side of New York City. Chloropield. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, he's he's just trying to get a shit. He's literally like going to go and try to save his ex-girlfriend. That's the whole plot of the film. Oh man, that's fucking that was a good one. That was a good one, dude. Fucking, yeah. I like how you like uh construct these questions, like they're like these clues, they're really good.

SPEAKER_01

To be honest, I don't know how long it takes you, but like the other night, so when I was, I think it was Sunday, I was here at my house, and I was like, dude, I feel like I have some drinks. I kind of got fucked up, and as I was getting fucked up, I was constructing the idea and the category, and I sat here for like an hour and a half. Like I compiled a list of movies that I wanted to go from. Yeah, and then I went to Letterbox and looked up reviews for certain movies, and some of them are better than others. So I picked certain ones that I was like, I think these ones are gonna be different. Like, that's the thing. I'll tell you right now, I didn't pick aliens, I didn't pick the thing, I didn't pick anything that would immediately come to your mind.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, because you know I fucking I've watched those movies like fucking like exactly so many times. Okay, word you're picking like movies that you know I've watched and like don't watch as religiously as these other movies.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not picking the most iconic monster movie. Like I was thinking about core fields pretty fucking iconic. That's true, that's true. I've I that's the thing. So I told you I have a list of like 13, I counted them 13 movies. I only use five tonight. So next week or in the next two weeks, when it's my turn again, yeah, I might just run monster movies again. I'd do it, man. Oh yeah. That's the thing. There's only one on the list that I'm not sure if you've seen, so I'm I'm not gonna use that one for sure, but all the other ones I know you've seen.

SPEAKER_05

I'm not gonna lie, man. Your clues for cheaper's creepers are also pretty fucking awesome. Like they're they're like the way they were worded, it could it couldn't have been any fucking movie.

SPEAKER_01

I thought it was great. Thank you, man. I really appreciate it. But also, like any anytime like like it feels like because I don't know how how it's gonna be perceived when it goes out to people, and people might be like, man, Raymond's just making really hard clues, so Sean can't get them. And that's not the thing. I'm trying to make clues within order of how difficult they are. Yeah. So the first one is worth five points. It's got to be difficult. It shouldn't be easy. Yeah. The second one, like I always try and do like I always try and add like a date of when the movie came out, or like um, like maybe something that's associated with the movie. Like I try and add like some very, very specific clue in there that like when you think back, you're like, oh, that all does make sense together.

SPEAKER_05

Well, you want to yell up Monster Mash, I immediately start thinking of Monster Squad. Oh, okay, but it's gotta be Monster Squad.

SPEAKER_01

I don't even know. Isn't that I don't even know what that is?

SPEAKER_05

It's an 80s movie where all these kids they find Frankenstein and a bunch of fucking like other like like movie monsters are coming back into like into the reality, and they're fucking like they're fighting off movie monsters. There's like Dracula in there and fucking the Wolfman, Frankenstein. Are you sure you don't have AIDS? Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Mummy. Like they're all in the movie. It's called Monster Squad. Okay, I understand. Didn't answer the question. I don't have AIDS.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you could have some. Okay. I don't know if you see the answer, but I hope you didn't. If you get it on the first one, then Motherfucker, man. I'm fucking near Sliderman. I'm not part of Sliderman.

SPEAKER_05

I'm not gonna be able to read that tiny ass shit. I'm standing like six feet away from you with a tiny ass phone. Did you see the writing?

SPEAKER_01

Motherfucker. You're also you're also anaphylactic. You're also about to die. The pet hair has made your head grow three sizes. Give that back. What are you doing with that over there?

SPEAKER_05

Keeping it from a thoughts.

SPEAKER_01

That's not how it goes. All right, guys. As soon as I got out of the vehicle with Sean and his dad when we got to the movie theater, Sean goes, Yo, so you got a weed pen? I said, I thought you bought weed last night. He said, Oh, I forgot it at home, bro. I'm like, Yeah, I bet you did. I bet you forgot it at home, fucking pussy. I was never gonna see any of that weed. Never have. Alright, man, you ready for question number movie number five? Ray called me a holdout. He called me a holdout, even though I can't. A little tiny bit. It's fine. I don't mean to be. I get it. It's fine. It's fine. Hey, man, that's how you conserve is you just say, nah, I don't got shit. You know what? You know what? I just parted on your bed just because of that. It's farted right on your bed. That's fine, dude. You already got AIDS on it. Been AIDS on it all night since you've been coughing and sneezing all over my shit. Bruh.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, it's like last time I was here, you're farting all over the goddamn place. My bed. My bed. You were ear fucking stinky. Man, dude, you're hotboxing the entire room.

SPEAKER_01

And guess what you did? You said, I'm just gonna go back to sleep because I'm his little bitch. You said I'm his Little baby bitch. I'm gonna go back to sleep. Yeah, but what did you do? Do you go back to sleep? You said I'm gonna shut my mouth and go back to sleep because I'm his little bitch. Yeah, fuck it. You thought that was gonna go good for you, didn't you? You thought that was fucking.

SPEAKER_05

Give me the fucking, just give me the question.

SPEAKER_01

Let's fucking read it. Motherfucker thought it was gonna go. It's fucking the question, motherfucker. No. Fuck around and found out. Yeah, I'm gonna go. Anyway, very quick. First clue for your fifth movie, my friend. Alright, let's go. Is they fucked around and found out. That could be any movie. It's five points.

SPEAKER_00

Think of a monster movie, dude. Okay, they fucked around and they found out.

SPEAKER_05

And that you're it's already been established that it's not something iconic. The descent.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I I mean, I've never said it was this movie. The descent incorrect. It's worth five points, dude. What do you think I'm gonna give you? Like, like you did one time. You were like, I was about to tell you that it was Smashmouth that sang the theme song, and it's like, dude, I would have known that Shrek. It was last weekend. I have to tell you to reorganize your questions.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Okay, KK. So they fucked around and they found out. So this is definitely a movie where people uh they're they're they're they're doing something, they think what they're doing is and also also uh you know what?

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna give you another hint here because I feel so generous. Don't think about the Kate. You know what's crazy? I feel like every single one of my first clues are something that you should read or hear and think about in a completely different way. Maybe in this term, a literal way. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Yeah, so I'm saying, yeah, they fucked around and found out around and found out in a literal way.

SPEAKER_05

Uh 28 days later, they fucked around and found out in the movie.

SPEAKER_01

You got one more chance on this one now.

SPEAKER_05

So they fucked around and they found out. They fucked around, they found out. Eight-legged freaks.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. People like this, I've taken scarier shits. Maybe that should have been our first question. So this is a movie that people that that somebody, maybe a general audience, thinks isn't that scary.

SPEAKER_05

Interesting. And then everybody fucks around and finds out as well. People think, oh.

SPEAKER_01

And they possibly have fucked around and found out. X. Incorrect. No monster in that movie, just a serial killer. Well, we we already established that fucking like humans can't be monsters. I've never established that. There's not once on this list that the human has been a monster.

SPEAKER_05

Well, when it's in the movie Monster or Charlie Sturr you, you fucking.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but I thought I thought it was a good idea, but I probably wouldn't put it in here because I don't I don't really think that's when you think monster movies think about monsters. Yeah, like every single one of these questions and answers has been a monster movie. Jeepers Creepers, Monsters Inc. Cloverfield. Repeat the question Barbarian. Repeat it again. People like this, I've taken scarier shits. They fucked around and found out. And I did I did a pelvic thrusting motion. There's fucking in the movie. Splice. Correct. But you are on the trail. You have one more guess, and we are going to the next one.

SPEAKER_05

I'm on the trail. You know what splice is. The guy fucking like he fucks his goddamn creation. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Splice.

SPEAKER_01

But but but what I'm not I don't want to give you the clue. I'm gonna let you guess this next one. Because this next one, I don't know. You're a pretty big score guy, right? A big what? Score. Oh my god, stand up. It's the chair, dude. It's a chair. It's the chair. It's the chair. Stand get away from the chair. Every time you go back on the chair, dude, you keep sneezing. I think it's the chair. I think it is the chair. Fuck you, dude. You think it's a chair? I think it's a chair. Your time is up, brother. Are you ready for the next clue?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, give it to me.

SPEAKER_01

The composer put his whole synthusi in this one.

SPEAKER_05

Holy fucking man, it's a Jurassic Park.

SPEAKER_01

Correct. That's pretty good. Pretty good, uh, pretty good, I guess.

SPEAKER_05

Composer. Man, it's like we know like oh my god, dude. I'm thinking of like fucking like John Williams here.

SPEAKER_01

It's just got an incredible score to a monster movie. Jaws? Horror. Jaws. Oh my god. Modern.

SPEAKER_05

Quiet voice.

SPEAKER_01

Incorrect. Your next clue. For two points. Sex question mark? Cancelled. Monsters. Oh, sorry. That's the last clue. I'm gonna give you the the the fourth clue at the same time, just because I read them wrong. The fourth clue is what about gay sex? It follows. I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you. You know what? Because I fucked up. You're gonna get a couple extra. I'm gonna give you 27 points on that one.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, we're gonna get it follows up. Is that right? Yeah, of course, bro. Oh. Awesome. So it's an STD, fucking. Like, it's uh yeah, fucking cool. Okay, oh God.

SPEAKER_01

How much points did you give you? I'll give you extra points. No, no, no. You'll I only give you two.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because I fucked up on the reading. So you're at you're at a nice 15, brother. Okay. Okay, so how did I get the extra points then? You didn't get extra points. I just gave them to you because so I fucked up the reading of the clues. Yeah. So I was supposed to read you the gay sex one first. And since I fucked up, I was like, I'll just give you the two points regardless, because that's the clues I fucked up on.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, okay. Okay. All right.

SPEAKER_05

Woo! Alright. So I got fit.

SPEAKER_01

I wasn't actually I did better than I thought I did. Yeah, so you got you got two, two, three, and then two. So you're sitting at right now a comfy 15 points.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, in the guy. Where are you sitting at right now? We wrote it down, I'm pretty sure, didn't we? You want to know? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

16 points. 16 points, okay.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

This is the second official game of uh This is the second round of the official game. The second round and the first round. So technically, next week is my second round. This is your second round. Yeah. So next week after that round, we will be even.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Okay, word. Yeah. Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So depending on how next week goes, you might be fucking like way in the lead. Maybe way ahead of yourself.

SPEAKER_01

Depending on how next week goes. So like I already know.

SPEAKER_05

I'm going to come back hard on my third round.

SPEAKER_01

I already know you're going to come back like crazy difficult. And guess what? It doesn't even matter. Like I said in the text message, you were like, I was I was like, I might change my category.

SPEAKER_02

I might change my category.

SPEAKER_01

You still need to be respectful and let a band know in advance, like I have. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_05

Actually, I'm going to keep the category because this Disney is the very uh broad thing. It could cover anything from like, you know, old animation to Pixar to like live action.

SPEAKER_01

That's the thing. Like the the when when you said Disney, I was like, does that accompany only this things that Disney released or everything that Disney owns? Because Disney owns everything.

SPEAKER_05

Only things that Disney has released.

SPEAKER_01

Then I think I can manage that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But like, you know what? You do whatever you want, man.

SPEAKER_05

It doesn't matter what definitely not things that Disney owns. I'm not going to throw like fucking like pre impreditor band like that. Star Wars or Star Wars and shit like that. Yeah. Because like those franchises are pre-existing. Like to like Fox and shit like that. I'm not going to do that to you. I'm talking about pre-prexisting Disney shit. It's all Disney stuff. It's all Disney.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm down. And I'm like the only thing I'm going to do is maybe do monster movies again. Or what was the category I said earlier that I forgot already? What was it? Fuck. Whatever. Oh, movies that are based on comic books. Ooh, that's a good one, too. Yeah, movies that are based on comic books. I was thinking about doing that one because I think that's got some juicy content in it. Well, hell yeah, I did. Fucking history of violence. Let's go. Did I ever even thought about that one? I would probably just do like because there's so many modern ones. Yeah, it's literally based on the comic book. There's so many modern ones that I would probably just try and do modern ones and try and trip you up. But you know what I would also do is I would do I would do spawn just to mess with your head. Dude, dude, you know I love spawn. Yeah, you're gonna be listening to this back, and you're gonna be like, wait, is he gonna do spawn? And you're gonna be thinking about it next time. Fuck you, fuck you. Every guess is gonna be spawned next time, dude.

SPEAKER_05

I got to get another piss, and then I saw jump into our Nolan rankings here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we'll jump into the blind rankings here because what are we sitting at, dude? Fumbox is probably two hours and fifteen minutes, I want to guess. Yeah, 248. Oh, right, right. I'll be right back. You've always been about three minutes off at the maximum. So you know what? I'd call that a pretty good time perception on your part. Not bad. Not bad for King Goober. Dude, swear to God though. So I got this chair that I bought when I broke my foot, and I just was using it to like sit up in bed so I could like game and like read and shit. And uh Sean started sitting in it and he started sneezing like crazy. And then he's like, No, I feel good, I feel good. He's sitting up like by the window, like on the edge of my bed, and then he goes back and he sits on the chair again, and he just starts sneezing like four times in a row. I'm like, dude, I think it's the fucking chair, bro. I think you gotta just get away from that thing. And then he moves away and he's like, Yeah, I'm good now. And I'm like, Yeah, bro, I think it's the chair. I think it's just full of like cat hair and shit or something. It doesn't look like it is, but I think it's deceiving. I think it has a deceiving pattern on it so it can hide all the pet hair and shame. But I don't know, man. I don't really I use it like if I'm gaming or if I'm like watching some shit like deep, like getting deep into some shit. You know what I'm saying? You ever get deep into some shit? Like you're at home, it's your day off, and you're like, I'm gonna get deep into some shit. That's what I use a chair for. Anybody. Anyone who wants to get deep into some shit, get one of these chairs on Amazon. It comes folded up, like a tiny box. You open it up, boom, hits you in the face. Boom, you got hit in the face. Fuck, dude. What the fuck happened? Oh, the chair slap you in the face. They fold them shits up tight. Tight as fuck, dude. Tighter than Sean's little butthole, dude. I bet you he's all fucking sneezy and shit. There ain't nothing tighter than my butthole, yo.

SPEAKER_05

He's all sneezy and shit. It ain't easy being sneezy. I feel a lot better though. Fucking, I definitely was. I think it was that thing it was leaning on. 100%. You think so? I think so.

SPEAKER_01

I think so.

SPEAKER_05

Alright. Give me Let's do it.

SPEAKER_01

You ready? I'm fucking ready, man. Okay. For your first movie, it is gonna be The Prestige.

SPEAKER_05

The Prestige, okay. And uh it's it's gotta be out of five stars, right? Out of five, just uh one, two, three, four, five.

unknown

Hmm.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna put it at number five. Alright, so five. Alright, Sean puts it at this point as his least favorite Christopher Nolan movie. Prestige.

SPEAKER_05

Still a good movie. Prestige is is great. But he made it like uh it was like right after Batman begins and he wanted to make a smaller film. And Prestige is a really good movie. It is a really good movie, but if we're doing a top five right now, Prestige is at number five. So that's that's that's my alright.

SPEAKER_01

We're I need to respect your decision. Second movie is going to be Insomnia.

SPEAKER_05

Oh I'm gonna put it in number four. I'm putting that in number four. Insomnia is so good, too. Yeah, it got it got like a powerhouse performance from Robert Williams. He plays a fucking legit like serial killer, which is kills in that movie. He's fucking so good. Even Al Pacino kills in that movie too, man.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely amazing. Insomnia is a great, oh my god, dude. Oh, okay. Isn't like the girl from The Matrix in it too, or am I crazy? No, the um I think the I Who's the girl in it? Hillary Swank? Oh, Swank, yeah, yeah. Okay, so four and five. Your next Christopher Nolan movie is going to be Interstellar.

SPEAKER_00

Oh I'm gonna put I'm putting that at number two. Number two.

SPEAKER_05

I gotta go, I gotta go five, four, three. It's gotta be number two for me. Also, Interstellar is fucking amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Interstellar at number two interstellar for Sean Buvier.

SPEAKER_05

Interstellar number two for sure. Yeah, let's go. Alright, next one.

SPEAKER_01

Next one is going to be Tenant.

SPEAKER_03

That shouldn't be my number five. I have no I have no I have no choice than to put out number three because I can't that can't be one number one. That can't be one number one. Tenant, for fuck's sake.

SPEAKER_01

Son of a bitch. Let's go. Alright, my man. And you have chosen correctly because your last movie is The Dark Knight.

SPEAKER_05

Alright.

SPEAKER_01

I've chosen correctly. Out of this list, uh Yeah, I don't think so either, but you know what? That's how blind rankings go. Yeah. And we should, I think, I think we could run this more often because it's a real quick, fun, easy game.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so like what do they have here so far is like Dark Knight is my number one. Uh uh, Interstellar is my number two. Number three is Tenet for Insomnia, five prestige. Honestly, within that ranking, I don't feel too bad with it. Within within the within those films.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think so either. Maybe I would I love Insomnia, but I also really like Prestige. I do. I might switch them. I might switch them.

SPEAKER_05

We'll probably switch places with them too.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, give me a cheers, pussy. Cheers, brother. I think that's I think we've got to close out now, right? Like someone's three hours. What else do we got, man? We got nothing left to do. I don't think we got more. Oh, hold on. I actually got something.

SPEAKER_05

We can't do a four-hour pause.

SPEAKER_01

I got some. We might be able to do a four-hour pod because I got some. I got some stuff. We're up and writing shit down. Okay, we're gonna go. That's the thing, because you know what's crazy? We've only done the Odyssey and Funbox this episode. We haven't talked about how our weeks were, we haven't talked about anything on our minds. Oh my god, bro. This whole episode has been the Odyssey and Funbox. Swear to God, three hours Odyssey and Funbox. Yeah. So okay, I got a couple here. Um couple here. So Mike Flanagan was supposed to do a Dark Tower series. What happened to that? Do you know? I don't know. Apparently, the first season is finished with a promised five seasons and two movies. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

Problem it's Mike Flanagan. Mike Flanagan has like fucking like done like fucking Oh my god. Okay, so yeah, this guy. Mike Flanagan did the the sequence. He did Doctor Netflix. But also he's he did Doctor's Sleep. Mike Flanagan did Doctor's Sleep. I don't think many people like that. Yeah, but I'm just saying, but Stephen King wise, he's done Doctor's Sleep. He's also done Gerald's Game. So that so we know that Mike Flanagan. Gerald's game was amazing, by the way. Fucking that that novel scared me when it when I read it, and the movie also scared me. Novella. Yeah. Well, Gerald's Game is a fucking actual novel. Novella. Sorry's novella. Just a combination. Gerald's game's a fucking full-on novel. It's only like 200 pages, bro. Dude, it's like dude, no, it's not.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, sorry, I thought it was.

SPEAKER_05

No, Gerald Gerald's game is a fucking full-on novel. How many pages? It's like fucking over 400.

SPEAKER_01

332. Alright, alright.

SPEAKER_05

I'll say it's a novel for sure. It's a novel. Yeah. I feel like uh Mike Flanagan, like uh right hand is to do the Dark Tower.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, dude, like literally, I read that, and I read that recently, and this has been ongoing already, so I looked it up. Ray, you know I love the Dark Tower. That's why I brought it up. That's why I brought it up because I know you're a big fan. Also, I've never read it. I love the Dark Tower. Never read it. I really want to read it, and I'll show you a video after we finish this podcast that I think encapsulates not just the Dark Tower, but the Stephen King universe as a whole. And it's seven minutes long. And like, bro, it's the the video's legit. Anyway, so the reason why I brought it up is because I know you love the Dark Tower. Fucking love the Dark Tower. Also, I've watched a couple of Mike Flanagan shows that he's got on Netflix. He's done some great ones. Some really good stuff. Which was based on the post it. Yes, yeah. I watch I watched that one and then I watched, because there's like four or five of them on the Midnight Mass is also very Salem's Law-esque. Yeah, I didn't watch that one, but that that's that's the one that has uh vampires, brother. Yeah, but it has the guy that's the main character in that Saros game now. Yes. Rallo Cooley. Yes, yes, yeah, yeah. Um what he did like a couple other ones. I watched the one where they're like in a house and their dad died, and like there's just a bunch of trauma shit, and they're just back in their house reliving all their shit. That was like the Haunting on Hill House or something.

SPEAKER_05

It was an expo, it was Haunting of Something Else. It wasn't Haunting of Hill House.

SPEAKER_01

A Bly Manor? Yeah, Haunting of Bly Manor. That was the one. Yeah. I'm looking at a couple of his shows because like he he's re he kind of bangs when it comes to that shit. Yeah. Okay, so the no, it's a haunting of Hill House, 2018. Yeah. Midnight Mass. Oh, he also did the Haunting of Bly Manor. Yeah, he also did the Hunter. I think it was the Haunting of Hill House that I'm talking about.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he also did uh the Fall of the House of Light.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he did Hush. Wait, he did Hush? That was the retro debut of the club. Oh, he did Oculus too? Yeah, kind of. This guy bangs.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on. Is he actually directing Clayface?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he is. He's directing I'm pretty sure he also wrote it too. I'm pretty sure he wrote and directed Clay Face.

SPEAKER_01

Directed by no directed by James Watkins with a screenplay by Mike Flag. Oh, okay, word, yeah. Yeah, yeah, cool. Um, but yeah, no, Mike Flagan banged. So I I read that and I was like, okay, I gotta tell you about it. Also, what I read is that this could also just be a fucking clickbait or whatever. Yeah. But I read the article and it was like, apparently, Stephen King has seen the first season and like thumbs up. Give it a thumbs up. Thumbs up. Okay, word. So it's like, man, that's fucking high praise. But also, Stephen King probably has also freaking laid some dog shit. Is is each season gonna follow each novel? I don't know, because there's seven, right? Yeah, there's seven novels. So that's the thing. Mike Flanagan promised five seasons and two movies. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So it's like well, it it could it could make the first novel and the second novel into one season. Because like uh The Gunslinger is a very short novel. It's like fucking like less three hundred three hundred pages. Yeah, maybe two hundred, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

290 something. It's it's short. It's also like heavy world building shit. Very heavy world building. Heavy world building. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I've I started reading it because I have I have all the novels. I own them all on paperback. I started reading the first one and I was like, I don't know, man. I'm gonna read some Mr. Mercedes or some shit.

SPEAKER_05

The Gunslinger is the weakest the weakest entry.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it it didn't hook me at first, but after knowing so much about the the the the the universe and everything, I'm like, yeah, I gotta check that. Gotcha. Okay, so have you heard of this other? So we we'll do this one first because they're kind of in the in the genre of uh of television media. Have you heard the the Batman 2 has been pushed back to 2028 again?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, they they had that teaser trailer. It was like Where it was just him and the man in the teaser trailer, it was like literally the teaser trailer from like fucking like 2022, but with snow.

SPEAKER_03

It was it was like it was like that's that's what it felt like to me.

SPEAKER_01

I think it was like they're just like, yeah, this is him and the new mask and shit, and it's like, dude, why the fuck isn't this movie coming up?

SPEAKER_05

It looks exactly like the same outfit. The ears are a little bit taller, but that's about it. Yeah, like the cowl and everything looks the same.

SPEAKER_01

So as of right now, as of right now, two Batman movies are slated to release that year.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you have Brave and the Bold, and you have uh fucking the Batman part two.

SPEAKER_01

And both of them have Matt Reeves attached in a certain way.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, uh Matt Reeves is uh uh co-writing Bray from the Bold, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Or is he uh co-producing some shit?

SPEAKER_01

He's attached to the movie in some way. Yeah. And it's like, isn't that insane that both those movies are coming out in the same year, and they're like, Yeah, let's just run it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Let's just fucking run it. Uh what what do I got here next? Last thing I got here is I mean, might might not be much, but I thought it was pretty funny. So there's been a New York artist that has spent a hundred thousand dollars. Yeah. On a Charlie Kirk statue. Yeah, and they're putting it up in fucking in Times Square. And no one wants to buy it. Nobody wants to fucking buy it. So no, it's the he's not he's not putting it up Times Square. I think he's but maybe maybe that's the new news. But last thing I've seen is that he built this statue, spent $100,000 on it. Looks very much like Charlie Kirk says like justice on his shirt or something, and nobody wants to buy it. He's just like sitting there.

SPEAKER_05

Also, like you're in New York. New York is like a Republican as fuck, brother. Like, dude, fuck it, like, not Republican. They're Democratic as fuck, brother. Like he like he thinks he's gonna he's gonna sell a Charlie Kirk statue in fucking New York? I don't know, bro. It's a bunch of lefties in New York. He he's trying to fucking sell a Charlie Kirk fucking statue. Not gonna happen.

SPEAKER_01

Not gonna happen? You say you say no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_05

Not gonna happen.

SPEAKER_01

You say no no no no no. Yeah. Okay, Sean says no no no no no, and I don't think I have much left on the docket here. Unless you want to talk about news. Oh. Have you ever heard of this one? The theory that Willy Wonka is an escape Nazi scientist?

SPEAKER_05

Ooh, I heard about that one. I actually heard about it. I heard about a conspiracy theory here.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you also probably heard about the classic one that Germans are obsessed with chocolate.

SPEAKER_05

Germans love chocolate. Okay, yeah. I'll go for my chocolate. I'm German.

SPEAKER_01

Definitely one theory.

SPEAKER_05

Have you ever seen the Do you want some chocolate and uh Gubin Flappen? Huh?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, let's get it all up. That's my German impression. You got a couple more in you. I know you do.

SPEAKER_05

Hey Greg, do you want to lick some of chocolate off of my balls?

SPEAKER_00

There we go. There we go. I knew there was at least one more stuck inside of you, dude.

SPEAKER_03

You want the studel?

SPEAKER_05

What's a studel? Only studel? It's a studel? That's my German accent. Let's go. Hey, minus. Hey minus.

SPEAKER_01

Um why are we talking about Germans again? Because we're talking about Willie Walken. So mostly because it's about the control and all the slavery that he does in his uh factories and all the crazy experiments he does, but also whatever you said. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. They love their chocolate, brother. I yeah, oh the chocolate thing. That's what you said.

SPEAKER_05

They love their chocolate brother. Fuck it. They invaded Switzerland, brother.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's true, dude. The Nazis were like, you guys are Switzerland now. Yeah, make us make a chop, make us some chocolate. Alright, well, you guys have been a glorious listening audience. We thank you so much. Sean's head is so huge right now. His eyes are so swollen.

SPEAKER_05

I look like a fucking fruit gusher.

SPEAKER_01

He looks like his eye, like his throat is gonna swell up and his eyes are gonna fucking burst. Sean, Sean literally didn't barely did anything. I feel like Sean was contributing a good amount, but as soon as he sat in that chair, I mean I said it when Sean went and took a piss. I hope he doesn't cut it out. That chair must be filled with like cum and germs or something. Because as soon as Sean touched it, he was like, You pull that chair away from me, man, and I feel right in his rain. Yeah, of course. I think it's like because we'll do something about that chair. There's something in that chair that's fucking me up, brother. Like bare ass on it. Whatever. It's fine. Who knows? It's on there. I don't know. I don't even want to know. Give me a it gave me an allergic reaction. I don't even want to fucking know, brother. Don't worry, I'm gonna rub it on your head when you fall asleep. Anyway, thank you guys for listening. It's been a great night. I hope you guys enjoyed all our stupid squabbling about the Odyssey, all our fucking back and forth bullshit. Subscribe, leave us a comment. Actually, tell me how many times Sean sneezed in this episode. If you could tell me accurately, I'll give you seven dollars.

SPEAKER_05

I'm also gonna write it in the description as well. In the description is gonna say count how eight times Sean sneezes this episode. If you do, you get seven dollars.

SPEAKER_01

If you do, you just get a dick pic from Sean Bouvier. Sean will send you his cock and I will send you seven whole dollars. I'll send you seven whole inches. Yeah. He said eight last time, he's lying. I don't even know if it's gonna be.
