Paul Martinez - Live at “God’s speed”
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Sunday, May 31, 2026 - Paul's message centers on the tension between feeling insignificant and being chosen, and how transformation happens through surrender, presence, and action lived out in community.
He reflects on how insight alone is not enough—spiritual understanding must become embodied obedience. Transformation is described as the moment when intention and will are fully fused with the soul, producing lived action rather than passive belief.
A central thread comes from Psalm 73, where clarity comes “in the sanctuary”—the idea that perspective is restored in God’s presence and within community, especially when the world feels unjust or overwhelming.
“I am chosen. I am highly favored. I lack nothing.”
The message emphasizes the paradox of the Christian life: feeling both lowly and deeply significant at the same time. Weakness is reframed not as failure, but as the place where dependence on God becomes real and transformative.
“Choose this day who you will serve.”
The sermon closes with a call to slow down, be intentional, and live at “God’s speed”—prioritizing people, presence, and community over performance or urgency.
No, um no, actually this is probably fine.
SPEAKER_01You know what? Never mind. Oh man.
SPEAKER_00To be a cool 20-year-old again. That's that's long gone. Yep. We're gonna raise some cool 20-year-olds. That's what we're doing. Oh man. God, I love it here. I love that worship, RC and Zach, and everybody. I love coming into the presence of God. Like everything just is right. I can be so angry or I can be so confused or frustrated, but when I come into the presence of God and worship, it just makes sense. And it reminds me of Psalm 73, where David, this is not what I'm talking about, by the way, but it just reminds me about Psalm 73. David, or it's Asif, actually, he talks about, he's considering the wicked things that are going on in the earth. I think that's pretty applicable. And he's talking about the wicked, and their their eyes bulge because they always have enough to eat and they're well fed and they're fat and their tongues wag through the earth. They can say whatever they want, and there's there's nothing anyone can do. He's feeling powerless. And man, I feel powerless a lot in the scope of world events, in the scope of like war and famine, and even locally, like, you know, I walk the streets a lot and I just I see drug addiction and I see trafficking right in front of me. It's crazy. Like, Jordan, how many times do we go open our door where we work, and then we see like human trafficking going on, like in the street? You call the cops, things happen, but then it just it's just there. And you're like, what? What do we do? And so Asif is saying these things. He's like, why? Like, man, they they do whatever they want, they prosper, and they get away with it. And then he says, I didn't understand until I came into the presence, into the sanctuary, the sanctuary, the safe place. And to me, that's the presence of God, that's fellowship with people. And you reminded me of that, Rachel. Like, the fellowship of the body over the years makes a difference. It makes all the difference. You guys in our lives, you guys in our lives are seeing Lori in our lives for years. My friends are here, James and Autumn. God, I love you both so much. Sayla and Gemma, love you guys. I've seen you born, raised up before you guys were married. Here you are, serving the Lord, just giving him your all. Makes all the difference in the world. That's what I'm gonna talk about, and that's what Asif saw at the end of Psalm 73. He's like, when I beheld your majesty in the sanctuary, it all made sense. That these things pass away, the wicked get their comeuppance, and the righteous will inherit the earth.
SPEAKER_02Man, right now I just understand what Jesus said when he said, My heart is troubled within me, and yet he was anointed with oil and gladness above all of his companions. There's tension in the kingdom, and there's room for tension. You know, when I was younger, like you guys over here in this section, you know, I knew the Lord at 17, I really met the fire of God. And I thought it was gonna be somehow.
SPEAKER_00Like, I was like, oh, I understand, like I am a son of God, and this is what has to happen because he's the ruler of the universe and all things have to move. And if I say to this mountain, be moved, it will be moved.
SPEAKER_02And you know, my brother dies, and then my other brother dies, and then my mom dies, and I'm angry, and I'm like, why is this happening? This is not what I saw.
SPEAKER_00My brother didn't get saved in the way that I wanted. He struggled with addiction all of his days, and my mom wept in prayer over him, and we prayed over him. He got saved in jail, he turned it around for a while, and you know, he fell away again, and it's just like, oh God, why aren't you doing what you can do? And um, he's okay with that. You can bring your anger to the Lord. There's room for that. But um, look at all these journals. This is from the month. This is from what he's been speaking to me about because I had kind of a moment, maybe like you would say, a visitation or a season of time where for multiple days I was very in touch with how low and insignificant my life is compared to the world's standards and the way I used to view that it should be from young. I like, I was aware, I was very keenly under aware, and it was like no judgment, I didn't feel uh any type of way about it emotionally. I wasn't like, oh, that sucks. I really messed up here, and I should have, it wasn't like that. Because at the same time, I saw, I'm just gonna read. I said, today I felt the status of my position in the world as profoundly insignificant, but also at the same time highly favored and chosen of the Most High, the King of Kings. Um, this didn't even begin to do it justice of how I felt. Supremely significant and exalted, while also very lowly and unimportant. And um, I wrote a scripture, Hebrews 4.16. So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy's kiss and discover the grace that we so urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.
SPEAKER_02And I feel like the Lord's specifically putting me in a time of weakness. I feel very weak, I feel very powerless, feel very stripped down right now.
SPEAKER_00But I know a lot of people who went through that, and I I um I've been listening, I've been listening to our family, what we've been speaking to each other. I've been listening to Zach's word about repentance, the repenting over the things that we know the Lord is calling us to change, and repenting over the things that we thought we were doing right, and we didn't even know were wrong. Like, oh, I wasn't supposed to be thinking like that or doing that. And that that one speaks to me quite a bit because the disciples were so zealous and they were so on fire. And if you want to look at anyone in the gospels that were following Jesus in his footsteps right behind him, it was the 12 and Mary and Martha and the other Mary and his mom. These people were like, what do you do in Jesus? And they're following him, right? And that's a good thing. And by that measure, we can measure ourselves and say, we are following Jesus, but their worldview was about to be wrecked. Have you ever had your worldview wrecked? I'm gonna try to put you into the mindset of, you know, on the verge of the first century Jews. I'm gonna try to do that right now. Um I wrote it down because I didn't trust myself. Um we've, man, it it's been a ride for me since Holy Week, um, which was right before Passover. Um I was really focused on Mary pouring out the oil on Jesus' feet, and we just sang that song. We pour it all out on you, Jesus, and that one kind of wrecked me because it's like, here I am, Lord, arms wide and heart abandoned, all I am is yours. I don't even know what that means. Like, what does that even mean? Um, come on. Now it's locked up again. Okay, so here's the first burgeoning of the first century. As the governmental powers of the earth prepared in that day to receive great riches, revenue from the pilgrims that would travel to Jerusalem. You know, you got the Roman Empire just sitting there waiting like a vulture to tax the people, all the vendors that are gonna be coming to the temple, the doves that are gonna be sold, the goats, the sheep, the bulls, all that money had to go through an exchange rate. Have you ever traveled to a foreign country and like you do your exchange rate and you're not happy with how far the dollar gets you? You're like, oh man, like that's not gonna be enough. Uh these pilgrims were going through that in that time, in that way. Um, Rome's looking to get fat. Pilate's looking to keep the people, and he has Caiaphas kind of pulled in the high priest that was put in place by the Roman government. Not the actual high priest, you could debate about this, but I'm fairly convinced that Zachariah, John the Baptist's father, was the true high priest of his day by bloodline and birthright, and John the Baptist by proxy would have been the last true high priest, according to Aaron, but he's not in that office. So when you're not in your office that you think you should have, consider the company that you're in. Consider John the Baptist, the true high priest of the cosmic heavenly Rome and the cosmic heavenly tabernacle. He's doing exactly what he needed to be doing, but he's not getting well fed. He's eating locusts and honey, he's wearing a camel skin. This guy looks homeless. This is this is like he ends up in prison, and Jesus is saying, I've come to set the captives free. And he's like, Should we send somebody to go see if he is the one, or is another gonna come because I'm a captive? When do I get free, Jesus? In your kingdom. This is the world view, though. So here's the governments. You got the Jewish government, you've got the Roman government. Religious elements were heightened, the people were pressed with anticipation and forever, ready to explode. The eyes of the greatest empire at the time, Rome, was reluctantly having to waste time and resources on Judea because it's such a problem child in their empire. They're loving Greece, they're loving these other places, they're getting their taxes, they're like, yeah, dude, worship everything you worship. Yeah, Artemis, yeah, Eprophas, um, yeah, Zeus, Hermes, great, it's perfect. Just give us your money. But here's Jerusalem, like on the verge of another rebellion, and they're like, God, send some more soldiers over there. I don't know what to do with these guys. This sucks. So there's a lot going on. So the disciples, everyone has an expectation. Everyone has an expectation. The disciples are on a high. There's this huge momentum. They're riding into Jerusalem. They've got the popular opinion and the favor of people. Um they're expecting any moment for Christ to seize his kingdom. Maybe the ones that were listening were were troubled, like I'm troubled, going, oh God, he's talking a lot about dying. That's not really good. Peter rebuked him, you know, the famous uh God, the famous disciple, man. I feel like that a lot because I feel rebuked sometimes by the Lord. I feel um like I have betrayed him in my life before.
SPEAKER_02I feel like I've had to take those moments and go, God, what do I do with that? And he says, get up, feed my sheep.
SPEAKER_00Keep getting up. I love you. Do you love me? All right, feed my sheep. Anyway, you get the point. So they're in this, they're in this cataclysmic moment, and their worldview's about to be wrecked, and they don't get it. They don't get it because they all run, right? Except for John and the women that were at the cross. But they're weeping and they're wailing, and it's not a time for rejoicing. But in this moment, in this moment of world governments and upheaval, there's famines going on, there's wars, there's oppression, there's abuse. These soldiers are living amongst the people, doing everything that soldiers do, living among the people that they're oppressing. There's war crimes going on. And these people are crying out for real justice. And the Lord's response to that is to say, I'm dealing with sin, and you can now connect to me. That's his response. And that's what they didn't get. When he came in this moment of everyone's expectations and fears, you know, the disciples are in like this kind of, I think, place of being disturbed by the things that Jesus had said, but also like, yeah, but still, he's gonna rock this nation and the world, right? And in that moment, God is fulfilling his master stroke of genius. The thing that he's planned since the beginning of the foundations of the world from the ages past in the garden, when he says to Eve, Your seed will crush the serpent, and the serpent will bruise his heel. This is that moment. It's massive. It's the only thing God's been focused on the whole time. When Abraham's going up the Mount Moriah and to sacrifice his son, and he says, I'll provide the sacrifice. This is what he's talking about. He's just taking the human consciousness and he's waking it up slowly because he knows we need to get it. And he's like, I gotta tell this story, and you're only gonna get it in hindsight. I want to tell you that's what God's doing in our lives right here in Santa Rosa right now.
unknownCome on, come on.
SPEAKER_00You feel insignificant, you've I do, and if you are feeling that way, and if you are feeling like it's not really going like I thought, there has been some amazing miracles in this body through the connection of you all. I've heard stories about what's happened at bridges. I've heard stories about your fellowships together that have changed lives. Jesus started small. He started with the lowly, he started with the insignificant. If if you can hear what I'm saying and it makes sense, it's evidence that you're chosen. You are chosen by God. Those who are his hear his voice, they hear his words, it makes sense to them, and there's life on that. So if you feel that, like that's what I was rocked by is the word, I am chosen. I am chosen. Like I feel highly exalted, highly favored. I am chosen. It didn't look the way I thought it did. Sometimes I feel like in worship it was like all clear, like I said, like, oh my God, I feel like I've been resisting your hand, you're opposing me, because nothing else can oppose me. Does that make sense? Like nothing else can oppose us. Because if God is for us, who can be against us? So if if I'm pressing into something and the door is an opening, what's happening? Are you opposing me, oh Lord? Do I need to cry out on my face before you and seek you? What's going on? So if you hear him and you can feel the resonance of his voice to the words that are being spoken or read or sung in the songs from his word, you are blessed. That means you're filled up to overflowing. If you don't feel sense or perceive the word of God calling you right now, because this word is always right now. If you don't feel it, guess what? Then you can ask him because he will answer you. He came to save you from separation, sin, missing the mark, missing intimate union or intimate connection. You're you're lacking nothing. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I lack nothing. I have no lack. You could be going through the worst time in your life right now, and yet you will not lack. You will not. John 3 16. He gave his only begotten son. For who? Me. The world. You. You are chosen. You guys are chosen. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, not only for ours, but also for the sins of the world. He's chosen you. Now is the time of his choice. He made that decision. I don't get to make that decision. He made that decision. Who is it for? You. You are chosen. If you don't feel it, just ask him. You will receive, knock, and the door will be opened. Well, how do I knock? What should I ask for? Luke. Luke 11, Luke 12. His Holy Spirit will come upon you and make his home inside you, leading and guiding you. Do you want that? I mean, I've been hungry for that. I've had it and I've been hungry for it. And I've wanted more. I can't get enough. It's ruined my life.
SPEAKER_02It's actually ruined my life. In a good way. I can't. I can't operate the way that the world operates and gets success. I've tried and it doesn't work for me. He ruined it in a good way. And I needed to repent to see that this is the good path. His portion for me. I don't know what I am or what I shall become, but I do know one thing. He's ruined the other way for me, and he's ruined it for you all. He's wrecked it. You can't go back. There's nothing there. It's a shadow, Egypt. Today is the day of your salvation. Do not harden your hearts as in the old days.
SPEAKER_00He will fill you with his Holy Spirit. Your heavenly Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
SPEAKER_02What is the kingdom? I've been praying like this. Heavenly Father, you have to come like that. Heavenly Father, you're good. You're holy. You're set apart. You're not like the other gods. You're not like the other things that people worship. You're unique. God, let your kingdom, righteousness, right relationship, your peace, shalom, wholeness, let your joy come to earth right now, as it is in heaven. God, and give us right now real daily bread, your flesh that feeds and sustains us with the grace we so urgently need right now. Give us your flesh, God.
SPEAKER_00And He does, and I thank you for it. God, forgive my sins. Thank you for forgiving the ways that I miss the mark and I'm not aware and I don't perceive yet. As I forgive those who trespass and don't perceive and don't understand in the ways that they're missing it with me in my life. Lead me away from the tempter, the temptation to define right and wrong, the knowledge of good and evil, and grasp at making sense of what you are not telling me to make sense of. Lead me away from that. Deliver me from the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy the enemy, the one whose works you came to destroy. And as you answer our prayers, we know that you are glorified. So we take the words of Jesus that says ask, and it will be given to you. And my Father's answer will it will glorify him. The answer of God will glorify him when he gives us the things that we ask. Yeah. In Jesus' name. The kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. Here in Santa Rosa, God. And this is the word. This is the word that I got for Santa Rosa and for us and who we are. Organic, homegrown culture of reformation. Hebrews 9.10. Laying aside the washing of the cups and the things and the liturgies and the and all of the stuff. Now is the reformation of those things. Hebrews 9.10. I'll read it in a second, but the old wineskin is looking for the new wineskin. But it's the season of kingdom yeast, aka beer. This move. Yeah, yeah. He said yeast, but I was like, don't you put yeast in beer? This move will look nothing like anything before it, other than the power of God doing what the power of God does. We have something unforced and homegrown. Some ministries have been trying to grow unindigenous fruit that has been raised in different regions and brought back to try to grow here, and it's stunted and highly processed. We have the blossom of a local homegrown formation of God. Churches being birthed and leaders being raised up to bring in the harvest of Northern California. You know Pentecost was Pentecost Sunday was last Sunday. Pentecost Sunday, it was a real Jewish feast of the harvest. They were the grain, it was like right after the grain harvest, it was the barley harvest. That's a foreshadow of the harvest that has been happening since Pentecost. You all have your own personal tongues of fire resting over your heads. If indeed the Holy Spirit dwells in you and has made his home in you, you're a harvester. It's awesome. So continuing on from Holy Week, from the crucifixion, from Easter, the Resurrection Sunday, to Pentecost Sunday, it's like here we are today, the harvest, the people that haven't heard. God has been showing me the culture of Santa Rosa in glimpses and a foretaste of what he's pouring out to us as a kingdom culture locally. The culture here has a strong value on individuals. People are valued. Your voice matters. Working together is a core trait. Innovation and pioneering. I've seen ministries or ministers drinking the spirit move of yesterday, longing and calling out for the next move, saying more wine, but no wine. Paradigm time. Shift happens. Don't be afraid. And then this quote just I wanted to read it because this rocks. William Booth, the Salvation Army. The chief danger of the 20th century, 22nd century, will be religion without the Holy Spirit, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_00So that was a mic drop. I love that. I just wanted to punctuate it with that like prophetic word that I was getting kind of over us. God has spoken again and again to me about Santa Rosa. And I'm gonna end there because I really feel like God is bringing me into God's speed. It's something me and Krista are like talking about and reading a book about, and it just is this slowing down. It is not shooting off. It's like, wow, someone gets touched, someone gets healed. Let's talk with them, let's meet with them, let's slow down, let's go slower, let's be more intentional, let's walk our neighborhood, like Sandra's idea to go hand out flyers to our neighbors, and Bob's idea to have the barbecue. Was that your idea, right? Here? Someone's idea was here. It was a collective. That makes you feel better. Okay. To have a barbecue and bless our neighbors, which was awesome. That was God's speed. That's his love. That's him. That's us in him saying, yes, for right here. Let's walk this parish. Let's walk our neighborhoods. Let's be the light. Because it may not look like you thought, but you have the power of the ages to be his witness in you. You lack nothing. You don't have the gift of healing, but you have the healer. You don't have the gift of the word of knowledge, but you have the one with all knowledge. Yeah. So ask and don't doubt. Be afraid to say what you feel God giving you to say. I guarantee you I'll share a failure testimony, and then I'll share a couple really cool success testimonies. The failure testimony, the one that I wanted the most to happen with all of my heart and had the faith for, because there have been some good things happening, was my my lifelong friend who lives next door. I grew up next door to him since I was 10, moved away, came back, live in my parents' house, long story. He lives in the same house now, too, with his family. So there we are again. But long journey, long journey towards him accepting Christ as his savior. It's happened. But also just a chasm between us of like unsaid things and like what else can God do? And well, he he opened up to me and he shared a whole bunch of stuff that wasn't happening in his life. And he had an injury in his shoulder. And I was like, dude, God's so gonna heal this. I've just seen like a couple shoulders get healed and like a back get healed. Oh my God. Tell them the testimonies. I go over, I was like, man, I really feel like your family's supposed to be there. I feel like your sons are supposed to be there. Let's get together and pray. We pray a couple times, like three times, and nothing happened. He's like, I mean, physically pain, and you don't want to see that. He's like, Oh God, I can't. Oh no, dude, it's the same. It still hurts. I'm like, wow, that sucks. All right, man. Well, I just pray a blessing over your family. I leave. He opens up the next day. He's like, dude, this is what's going on in my life. This is another thing. Can you just pray over these things? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, pray that this happens, pray that that happens. It's like a sporting event. So I pray, yeah, God, okay, I'm praying right now, and I'll text you when I'm done. Okay, I'm done praying.
unknownGod, thank you.
SPEAKER_00Boom, there it goes. Everything I prayed, the opposite happened. His son got hurt and all this stuff, and that's exactly what we prayed for not to happen. And I'm like, oh wow, that's a big fail. Don't be afraid. Because I don't know what it opened up, but talking to him is different. He felt the love. He felt the connection. He feels like Paul's showing up for me.
unknownThat's not a fail.
SPEAKER_00It isn't a fail. I was like, wow, you used a non-healing to bring this kind of connection and relationship that I needed with my friend. Thank you, Jesus. So there's that. Now, here's another one. When the the these are why I continue to pray for people. You've got to swing, or else you're not gonna hit anything. You know, the biggest home run hitters in the history of baseball, guys, right, have the most strikeouts. Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, most strikeouts. Almost per their home runs. They almost beat each other for their strikeouts. But they're smacking them out of the park. So go for it. Um yeah, another one is me and Mark go to St. Elena, and you've heard some of the testimonies of praying for the barista and the cashier. Well, we prayed for the cashier again, and he had an injury in his he had pain in his arm, and he had like a growth. It was crazy. And he had a lot, he was like, bro, it's really bad. I can't, it hurts a lot. And we begin to pray for him, and he just starts heating up. I mean, like you could feel the heat coming off of his body, and you're like, wow, dude, you're like hot. And he's like, I know, and my arm's getting better. And he's like, but my back really hurts. So we prayed for his back a couple of times, and it's going away. He's like, it's about 50% better. And I was like, Well, sit in the chair, man, and we'll grow your legs out because you probably have one leg shorter than the other. Kind of just thinking about chiropractic adjustments and things that people have pain in their back for. I was like, oh yeah, yeah, probably have a leg longer than the other. Sure enough, it's uh it's about a quarter inch off. It's a quarter inch right leg to left leg difference. And we barely, I barely held his legs in my hands, and I prayed really quick, and it it just shot right out. It was we almost missed it. It's we filmed it. If it were you can hardly see it. You see it out, and then the next time I lift it up, it's it's in. And he all the pain left his back, right? He didn't have any more pain in his back. So it's like, praise the Lord. This is an individual who ended up giving his life to the Lord because of the repeated touches and reaching out over the coffee table and saying, Hey man, how are you doing? How's your life? Building that relationship at God's speed. Not like, hey man, uh, yeah, hey, thanks for my coffee. Do you need healing, by the way? Okay. No? Okay, you're good? Bye. No, it's like sitting there, sometimes in the uncomfortable moment. How's your how's your family? Oh, wow, you're going through a hard time. You're going through, wow, a lot. That's not good. Well, I'd love to pray for you for that. And that that's how God's kingdom goes forth. How his love is expressed, how right order gets established on earth as it is in heaven. So you guys just go out. You are the ones, you are chosen today. I just wanted to encourage you, like it says in Hebrews, spurring each other on to love and good works. You are his hands and feet. You are the ones that carry his presence. If you're struggling with God, if you're angry, there's room for that. Open up to him, pour out your complaints, read Psalms. He's there for you. But as you go through your journey, don't forget the ones right next to you. And I'm just blessed to be a part of you guys. I'm blessed to be a part of what God's doing here and in this city and in this county. So we're gonna end in prayer. Yeah. Heavenly Father, we just submit ourselves to you. We don't know what it's gonna look like, we don't know what tomorrow's gonna hold. But you do. And you have given us your spirit. You lead and guide us, and you are faithful. And that is that armor that literally protects us. You are our shield. Your word is the sword. Your word made flesh is the sword of the spirit. God, prepare us. God, keep us in your truth. By your spirit, show us the way. Give your body the insights as we speak to one another. Just help us to put together the tapestry of what you're doing here in our lives. We seek your counsel and we seek your way. And we just say, do more, Father God. Do more. We're open to you. We want what you have. In Jesus' name. Amen.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_03Thank you, bro. So good. So good. So if you're paying attention, the Holy Spirit is holding. I'm just saying it. And if you have ears to hear today, God did speak to each one of us in some facet of Paul's message, his ministry. And I want us not just to acknowledge it was good, because it was very good. But I want us to leave this place actually saying, Holy Spirit, what are you saying to me? What are you saying to us? What was the peace? Don't try to do it all at once. Sometimes we get so broad that we miss the thing, the one thing. So as we go, just Lord, what is the one thing that you have for each one of us individually? What is it? Maybe there's merry repentance that was talked about, right? Maybe there's I want more of you, but maybe I I've not been filled up by your Holy Spirit recently. Whatever it is, maybe I've go ahead.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah, I just I I wanted to speak to you. I feel like there's been a theme of the Holy Spirit beckoning, like the Lord's beckoning us, like you said, individuality and an organic reformation like community, that is both. Like he designed us so uniquely ourselves to be a reflection of him, and if we're not walking in that individuality, we're missing our part of the body, right? We need you to be your tendon. And also choosing to walk in community as your individual self, who God's made you to be, linking arms, linking shields of the spirit, shields of faith together at the same time. And there's this unique call to there is a very individual message that the Lord has just for you that you bring to the table. You bring your side dish that we need, or your main course depends on the season and what he's asking of you. There's that, and then that is all collective and this mechanism of the body of Christ that he's moving in both, and the repentance and the ask him, and wherever you're at is so individual, but it's so important in the season that you're in, young or old or somewhere in between, that we're asking him, what is your what are you asking me to do with you? Just me, and then what are you asking me to do here? Are you asking me to get more connected or to serve or to have people over for dinner or just share this piece of myself with my community? Whatever it is, it feels like there's a really big beckoning of just like I want each of you and exactly who you are who have made you to be to come out and into the shuffle of my body because it's so like there's no one that's you. There's no one that has the peace of God that you carry. He made you individual. Anyway.
SPEAKER_03So let's ask him, Holy Spirit, what is the thing for me this week? Let's make it like in the seventh day. But this week, what do you have in response to what I heard today?
unknownRight? And the word seal it. Go ahead, right? Seal it. That the word that was spoken, that the word that was spoken will not, it'll go into the soil and grow and bear fruit that the enemy or the cares about this world won't rob us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Because once we leave this gathering, this moment where we can go back into oh, we're back in this thing. We've got to go to work tomorrow, right? But like you said, it's not just us in this room. The body of Christ is all over the city. And so it's this piece of interaction as we go, right?
unknownWe're not trying to build something. We're trying to bring partner with him, bring his team into this earth. That's the call of the pitch. Yeah. That's who we are, right?
SPEAKER_07Um just about confirmation because while I was sick, God was telling me slow down and be more intentional. You know, you're trying to do too much, you know, and not everything is important. You know, be selective of what is important and develop your awareness, you know, of others and so on. So that was confirmation today.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because today is the only day we have. Tomorrow was only found on a fool's calendar.
unknownSomebody said once. We live for tomorrow, we'll never get there. Really won't.
SPEAKER_03He said that, right? Today's okay. Anyone else in Jesus' name?
unknownEveryone said. Amen. Oh, more.
SPEAKER_06I know this probably sounds a little silly, but when you were talking and you were talking about pushing on the door, I just got this thing of no, you were pushing on the wall, you were next to the door. Just you would just step over this one little step, so you would have gone through the door. Yeah. Yeah. So I I I was like hesitant, do I say anything or not? It just kept getting stronger and stronger in me. You're right where you're supposed to just look at.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I just wanted to say this word, if um, because I believe that the Lord is wanting to free.
SPEAKER_00This is a huge stumbling block that I stumbled with for a long time, and it was a guilty conscience even after salvation. How it harasses and accuses. And it says in Hebrews, it says, let us draw near with a pure heart and full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from evil conscience. There's a supernatural element, the spirit, the water is the Holy Spirit, and He can cleanse your conscience. And then in verse 24, he also says, um, let's see, yes, no, that was it.
SPEAKER_01It was the cleansing of the conscience. So I felt like that was a healing for somebody, as a word of knowledge, that there are those things that if they're not removed by God's power, the spirit, you can like be waffling.
SPEAKER_00I waffled for a long time between, like, oh, am I saved? Am I not saved? And it's a harassment from the enemy. And if that's you, the Holy Spirit wants to set you free, like it says in Hebrews, sprinkling your conscience clean. It's such a blessing to really actually enjoy your salvation. You're still safe. Doesn't mean you're not when you're being harassed, but to actually just enjoy the salvation of the Lord is amazing.
SPEAKER_01So, yeah. Yeah, there's joy and salvation.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation to take it in this time of sinning, after repentance of sin.
unknownThen he said, Restore unto me.
SPEAKER_04And when you are set free from that, then you can be fully activated into what he called you to do. Because the harassment is a distraction. And it causes you to feel disempowered.
SPEAKER_03Alright, stepping down on the wall here a little bit. If that is you or many of us in this room that would say, I want to acknowledge that's been I've been feeling harassed, I've been feeling uh a struggle with a guilty conscience. That's specifically what you mentioned. Is there somebody here? Is there one person or more than one that you would say, yeah, that's me. Whereas one I'm pointing out family. At least that's yeah. I'll say maybe it was that whole the ball's gonna drop thing. Yeah, still harassment because you're expecting bad news all the time. That's something that's still I'm aware of.
SPEAKER_01Because what I'm hearing is that comfort over your life is coming. Like the comfort of the Holy Spirit. So I just wanted to pray with you. Let's do that. Let's just receive that from the Lord today. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Lord, we just declare that we receive your heavenly blessing from above that frees us to experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit right now, be released and remove right now, the old nature that brings condemnation, because there is now, right now, now, no condemnation. No more. In Christ. Now and forever. No matter what you do from now on, no matter what is spoken over you, the Lord is your guard of your conscience. He sprinkles you with his Holy Spirit and cleanses you now. In Jesus' name. Receive the gift. Amen.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Amen.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01Praise the Lord.
unknownThank you, Lord. Amen. And so as we gather or leave that you need prayer, let the person you're hanging out with pray for you, or send someone on to pray for you. Alright? Yes. We are in the body, that's good.
SPEAKER_03Love you all.
