You know, if you look at the clock, it's about 5 to 1. A lot of times. I the older I get, the more I appreciate that we're not we're not organized in that manner. That we don't have programs and different things to to try to keep a control or check. There's control to be had. And there's order, but it's not it's not man-made order. You know, all those all those years of being in the being in management, the first three or four or five, and I'll tell you, managing southern men was difficult. No pun towards the southerners, but it was difficult, especially with them knowing my background. Because I'm a Yankee to them. You know, you're a northerner. But the first couple years, I I I led with my finger. I talked to them with my finger and dared them to get out of line, order. Don't, you know, you know, you got something to say, say it. If you don't like it, there's the door. And that's exactly how I was. Then the Lord began to deal with me and speak to me about you can lead that way, and it'll get results. But the type of results that it would take to be truly successful, they're not there. Because they're not committed to that company. They're not truly committed to you, they're committed to your authority and what you possibly would do or how you would possibly react, it's out of fear. Then he came onto the scene stronger in my life and be and he began to talk to me about no longer leave with your finger, but leave with your feet. If somebody sees something that you're doing that they like, that's right, and can has a level of righteousness in it, it's much easier for them to watch you walk and then adapt and choose to do so out of their own free will. And if they do that, then the outcome is much deeper. Much deeper. It's more personal. And that's just leading men and women, naturally. Now coming over into the spiritual, it's a totally different thing. We're to be led by the spirit. You have to have a certain level of order, absolutely, positively. You have to have respect and reverence for the five-fold ministry and for the ministry itself and for each other within these walls. There has to be a certain level of respect, decency, common order. And it's hard to keep that. It's hard. It's difficult to keep that because we see each other daily, day in and day out. I can't hear you because I see you. I need to wash that out of my spirit. Because if it's just me naturally talking to you, then you can just you can do as you wish with it. But if it's the Holy Spirit talking through me to you, or vice versa, then no matter how I make you feel, or what I done to you yesterday, or what you done to me a week ago, you you you you would do well to consider it. You would do very well to consider it. We're not always going to do things the way that we should. We're not always going to be the type of people that we should, naturally or spiritually. But if we can get in the mindset that nothing else matters other than serving and being a part of this work that God's doing right here in the city of Akron and making it to a making making that on the highest priority of our life, everything else below that will fall in line and fall in order eventually. All of it. Every little dot, every little diddle, every little T, it will all fall in order if we're making the common goal here is to work with the Lord while he's building a church, an acron, while he's building a sanctuary, while he's building a garner, while he's building a safe house, while he's building a work. If that is on the highest priority of our life, I'm talking above everything. How many here would forget to pay their rent or pay their house payment? You might forget once, maybe twice, but you would never forget a third time because you're getting eviction notices. Well, it's very even higher than that. Higher than our physicality, higher than our bodies, higher than our emotions, higher than our dreams, higher than our admirations. I can't tell you why people, why God chooses the people that He chooses. Sometimes I question why I'm even a part of it, because I don't feel like I fit there, here, or anywhere else. But the fact of the matter is, is that you didn't pick your brother, you didn't pick your sister, you didn't pick your mom, you didn't pick your dad. You're a part of a family for the good, bad, and ugly. And when you when you're born into that family, there's no dotted line to sign. It's just you are a part of that. Prior to a Mathis, you were a Maley. Prior to being a Combs, you were a Connell. And whatever took place inside that home, whatever good came from that home, whatever bad came from that home, whatever good came from that name, whatever bad came from that name. You were a part of it through association, whether you wanted it or not. I literally read, I have a book, a book that's called The School of the Prophets. It's one volume. Brother Connell gave it to me. And I love reading it from time to time. It was a it was pri it was Brother William Saudters. So there was no audio, it was all handwritten. And this is a volume of one of their meetings. And it was word for word, line for line. And brother Sodter's brother William William Saudters said this. He said, If you say, and you if you're portraying that you're a part of the gos, I think it was the gospel kingdom for him. Yeah, if you portray and you say, and you you're here day in and day out, that you are part of the gospel kingdom that they had back then, then you are part of the gospel kingdom through the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. All of it. That's not my temperament. My temperament is shut that out, open this door, close that, and I'm never looking at that again. I can't, we can't build in that manner. We can't do anything in that manner. We're gonna be so dwarfed, this ceiling is gonna be so low, there's gonna be so much brass involved. You know, back when my father went into the garage, I think you guys, I think everybody was in the garage for about a year before we got here. Something like that. 11, 12 months, and even before then, we were traveling two times a month up here. But he hammered and hammered and hammered and hammered and hammered and hammered on one three-letter word. And that was sin. S-I-N. S-I-N. Sin. There's many facets of sin. Many facets. Brother Matt, would you pull up the tabernacle, please? A picture of the tabernacle. Look at you. There's many facets of sin, and we're going to go to the Lord in prayer. We are being asked to leave this area. Now it's still here. This brazen altar area is for big outward sins. We have to walk away from talking about the bars and the drinking. You we know that we're not supposed to do those things. That is a no-brainer. You know you're not supposed to lay your body down prior to marriage. That's a no-brainer. Walk away from that. Let's not even discuss that anymore. Where are we right now in 2026? Right now, with everything we deal with. My god, you can't even read a sentence from Google without having something horribly provocative pop to the left, to the right, right in front of you. I'm gonna have to get to the point to where I'm so dead to that that that doesn't matter anymore. And I am not there. But I'm gonna have to get so dead to that that I don't, I might see it, I might feel it, I might hear it, but I'm not going to indulge in it. Because I have got to get away. I've got to get away from this. Very true. And find myself more. Right here. Now, how do you do that? How do you do that? When I want to be ugly, I'm kind. I horribly fell at that. When I want to lash out, I don't. When I want to be fake, I don't. When I want to blame, I don't. When I see you for what you really are, I keep my mouth shut. This is for me. This is something I'm dealing with on a daily basis. When I want to look at something that I shouldn't, I don't. That in which I would do, I do not, and that in which I would not, I do. I have a point here. Five more minutes. What does it look like to be holy and righteous in an unholy and unrighteous society, time, day and age, error, millennium? What does it mean? You've all heard the jokes, the Bible thumping, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, walking with the big Bible. That's gone. The minute they hear that you speak in tongues, your credibility is shot. Shot. With a lot of people. The most credibility I've ever received with anybody out in the world that, and the, and by, by, by, by the way, the highest compliment that any of us can get is for an unbeliever or somebody in the world to walk up and say, I knew there was something different. That's the highest compliment that you can receive as a Christian. I've only had that a handful of times because most of the time I'm out here stumbling around, mad, agitated, angry, about to blow up on you, about to blow up on you, about to go off on this. Can't stand the guy that just ran, just ran the red light. My house payments due, and we don't have any checks coming in. Most of my time is spent right there at that brazen altar, and God is asking us as a group, will you please, Tim, begin to grow up. Begin to wake up and stop spending so much time at this altar, which will get you nowhere. Eventually it's going to be rolled up, wrapped up like a scroll. Your time, Tim, is running out. You don't have long. If I honest to God believed that, I would be way further along than what I am today. Now I have a high point here. I'm going to take this down and I'm going to bring us back up. I've got to figure out how to get into this second heaven, holy place condition, and stay there longer, longer, longer. Begin to live in it, eat in it, sleep in it, drink in it. How do we do that? I just told you. It's more simple than what you think, but harder than what you think. All wrapped up into one. God forbid any of us that there's any fornication or adultery going on. God forbid any of us that we're going to the bars and drinking and all those things. We've got to get so far beyond that that that's not even a question anymore. That's true. Don't just stop talking about it. I'm done talking about my past. It's horrible. It's a junk pile. I'm guilty of it. Things will come up, and I'll say a little something here and there. I'm done with that. I'm not bringing my past up no more. Only for it to be used to humble me and bring humility to my spirit. The past is the past. Do you know that anybody that comes in this room, in this congregation from this day forward, do you know that they should know very little about the first 15 years other than the good? Now stop and think really hard what I'm up what I'm saying to you. If this shoe fits, I want you to slip it on your foot and tie it up and lease it down. Leech, just lasso it down. Do you know that there's vic there the if somebody gets added to the church on next Sunday, they should only know the good from every Sunday, Wednesday from the past, from when this started to now.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_06

That's true.

SPEAKER_03

They should know nothing negative. Let them figure it out for themselves because Brother Tim's gonna get exposed. Because three Sundays from then, I'm not gonna be standing where I'm standing. I'm gonna be sitting there talking. They'd be like, whoa, Brother Tim's got some temperament issues there. Well, let them figure that on their own. There should be no discussion of things in the past.

unknown

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

None. You should no nobody that comes in should know that the that that Jay that you you you deal with certain things. That Sister Crystal, that you deal with certain things. Now, if you tell them, that's on you. But they should never be hearing it from somebody next to them.

unknown

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

Period. Period. Keep that. I I gotta learn to keep that, let that, let that lie, let that die, let that rest. Out of reverence and respect for you as my brothers and sisters, because what do you think that does to the credibility of that individual? It spits on it. What? What? Do I want people knowing that I had a drinking problem? No. Do I want people to do do you really want people to drag out the drunk junk drawer on you for real?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_03

Do I? Do I want people to know that I was soiled by 13?

SPEAKER_04

Do I? No. No. Do I want people to know that I was living a life at 15 that 25-year-olds wasn't living? No. Let them see my war wounds. And when they do, and they want to know, let them come ask me.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

My God. Who am I to judge?

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_04

Who am I to look down the barrel of this nose at any of you?

SPEAKER_03

And who are you to do it to me?

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Delete, let he without sin cast the first stone.

SPEAKER_04

I don't want people to know my past. Even the funny stuff, it's carnal, it's gone.

SPEAKER_03

I need to stop talking about it. I don't want to talk about it no more. I need to focus for the next seven years coming.

SPEAKER_04

I'm telling you there's something coming that we're gonna need God, and we're gonna need to be in that second heaven condition.

SPEAKER_03

I'm telling you whether Brother Lineger was right or wrong. He's within a couple years. And if you don't know what that means, ask somebody. Now that's another thing. Start asking questions, people. There's only a couple reasons that you don't ask questions. It means you already know the answers. Or you think you do. You don't care enough, or you're embarrassed to ask. Yes?

unknown

How do you ask? How do you ask and do you ask?

SPEAKER_03

You can come to my father, myself, or me. For biblical things. What'd I say? What I say? My father, my brother, or me. Is that what I said? Oh, okay. I said me twice. Thank you. Sorry. Forgive me. Well, don't come to me twice because I got enough of me. My brother, my father, and myself. Primarily for big stuff, go to my father. And then if he wants you to talk to my brother or me, he'll say so. That's why a lot of times I'll say that through the direction of Brother Connell, I'm calling you. Or I want to talk to you or want to ask you something. That is the leader, shepherd, pastor of the church. It's his umbrella. Do we have to go here again? I know this makes some people uncomfortable, but it is what it is. He holds the umbrella and it's my job to help him hold it up. I don't do that all the time. Now, is there callings on my brother and I? Absolutely, absolutely, positively. For future reference, I don't know what that means. But I'm going to work diligently with my brother and diligently with my father to take away all ought, all uh ill will, all earth, all doubt. You're not looking at three perfect men up here. I'm not my brother. I'm not my father. And vice versa, they're not me.

SPEAKER_04

But I'm telling you now that if you don't have a vision of what God's doing in these three wretched individuals sitting up here, then your seat's gonna get really uncomfortable because you're not having the proper faith that it takes to see it.

SPEAKER_03

Which leads me to my punch point here. Faith. Real quick, what does it take? What does it take to get behind that bell and stay there? Dying daily. What does dying daily look like to you and I? I not don't not being sarcastic. Wife, children, forgive me. We have a level of sarcasm in our home that's absolutely detrimental. I'm not one, I am not one that hides from from being like, oh, I don't know, that's not me. No, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I wear my feelings on my sleeve, and it can be a good thing or it can be a bad thing. We have a level of sarcasm in our home that's got to go. We have a lack of conviction in certain things that's got to go. We have a level of the hierarchy of the home, being the me being the father, uh, God, God, Jesus, man, woman, child, that has to be corrected to a certain degree in my home. What else? Ask me. I was going to tell you we probably got it. But you know what matters the most? I don't have to beg my kids or or threaten them for them to get up and put their clothes on to come to church.

SPEAKER_04

And I praise God for that.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_03

I don't have to beg my wife to get up and go to church. I don't have to, I don't have to, usually I only have to say a few things and things get corrected in order. I have girls that want to do what's right. They might fail, they might falter, you might see them fail, you might see them falter. But remember, you're 30 and they're 16 and 19. You're 27, they're 16 and 19. If I go back to where I was at 16 and 19, oh my God. And I have to do the same thing for your children. And for your children, and for everybody coming in. If I can't love my brother, then how can I love not my natural brother? I love my natural brother.

SPEAKER_04

We've been through a lot together. There's been things that I won't even tell you what we've done, good and bad.

SPEAKER_03

Even when I was wrong, even when he was wrong, if you mess with one, you mess with the other. And now you're in big trouble. Because now you got two of them on you. That's naturally minded, but spiritually we have to get that same way. You mess with my brother Mathis, you mess with me. If he stands up, I stand up. You insult my brother Mike, then I you're insulting me. You insult my pastor, you're insulting us all. A brotherhood without the natural clickiness garbage that goes on. A brotherhood. And sisters, don't get hung up on that. You're part of the brotherhood. We're all a part of this. I'm going to tell you what's about to come. There's going to be an inauguration take place. And there's going to be some fear instilled. Fear. Yes. Reverence. Fear. You and I must have reverential fear installed and put in within our lives, or we're not going to pay the price that it takes to get behind that bell and stay there. There has to be a level of respect. I hope Brother Connell brings on more teachings about the about the about the fivefold ministry, about the laying on of hands, about the doctrine of water baptism, the doctrine of the hells, the Godhead. Because I'm just gonna put you on the hot seat. I've heard it more than I've ever heard it before. People are hungry to hear. They want you to teach us, preach to us, talk to us, plan us. We don't have much time. Bring it on. Now, I know God's got a time. I know that he wants to stand up and say certain things, but God has just goes like this. Not yet. So who's who who whose problem is that? His or God's or ours? Answer me. Ours. Ours. Mine. Mine. Because I have to get my ears capable of hearing what he's saying because God does not cast his curls among swine. And every one of us in this room has a level of swine still. You have to hunger and desire after that word. What does it say? Signs and wonders follows after the word. There's a season of worship and there's a season of word. And the worship is abundantly powerful. Erase, eject all that garbage from the past when we used to get heated about the debating on water and word, water and word. Forget that nonsense. We need them both.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

There is no division here. None. Differences? Absolutely. But no division as far as our schisms or isms as far as the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ goes and what our goal is. Our goal is in its entirety. There's no division here. None. None. You might see differences of opinions, you might see differences of personalities, you might see a frown on my face, a smile on my brothers. But when when the chips fall, and it matters most, there is no division here. You will not find that. It's not there, non-existing. So what does it take? What does it take? I'm telling you what it takes. It's that simple. Sarcasm. Got to go. Lack of belief. Got to go. Flying off the handle. Got to go. Over-emotional about things. Got to go. Help me here. Help me. Let's talk. For two more minutes. What else has got to go?

unknown

Rage.

SPEAKER_03

What is it? Rage. Rage. Guilty. Got to go. Gotta go. I was waiting for somebody to say jealousy. You know, that is the least talked about thing ever. Say it again, brother.

unknown

Jealousy.

SPEAKER_03

Gots to go. Gotta go. What is it? Worry. Worry. What else? Envy. Strife. Bitterness. And I don't think that all of us quite know what any of that really looks like. But if I look at you and I have a little bit of cringe in me, or a little bit of avoidance, or a little bit of this, sorry, I don't want to make too much, I don't want to pinpoint you out. Or you, or you, or you. If I have any of this, just a little something I feel in there, brother. Just a little something. Well, there's something. You know exactly what I'm talking about. And we know exactly how God can heal things. There's temperaments in this room that does not mesh. But through God, we can mesh.

SPEAKER_04

Having a willingness to say, I want to mesh with you. I'm no longer going to judge, why are you sitting here, Brother Jason? I'm no longer going to judge, why are you here? Why are you here? But I'm going to make myself a part to you. And if you know that I'm putting it on and I don't have it, then by God have enough decency within your soul to put it back on towards me, with me, together. And eventually, charity will win. The bond of perfection is what? Charity. Charity. My God, I gotta have charity with my own children. This one's so much like me that I have to walk away from time to time.

SPEAKER_03

A, sometimes it brings laughter, and B, sometimes that brings me anger that I can't control. If I look you in the eyes and I feel anything, or if I just have a little squirm this way or that way, for us to get where we need to go and for God to pour in what He's going to pour in on top of this foundation, that's gotta go. That's gotta go. There is no house of Tim. There is no house of Jesse. There is no house of Brother Connell.

SPEAKER_04

You are looking at the house that God is building sitting in front of you here together. We just so happen to be brothers and a father and a family with the same last name. And this is heavy because who can I get angry with the most? My brother and my father. So, let me finish.

SPEAKER_03

We like to quote this scripture. Finish it with me. If you just have a grain. What is it? The faith? Tell me. The faith is a grain of a mustard seed. You can move mouth. You can move mouth. No, I found out something before reading that.

SPEAKER_04

Do you know who he was talking to when he said that? Do you? Okay, I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's you know why? Because nobody goes pat beyond that. They just go to that. This one that I was reading. He was talking to his apostles. His apostles. He was telling them that you lack faith. His disciples, but which turned in to be his apostles. If you go to Luke or something like that, Matt, there's another one. Because of your unbelief. Well, in one of the Snoctic Gospels, it says it differently. It might be Luke, it might, but take my word for it, go look for it for yourself. He was literally talking to his apostles. Now ask yourself this. This is where we have to get our mindset going here, folks. It's truly just a mind shift. A mind shift. A mind shift. Half glass full. Half glass full. Half glass full. Half glass full. God can do it. God can do it. God can do it. God can do it. We can make it. We can make it. We can make it.

SPEAKER_05

Amen.

SPEAKER_03

It's a mindset. Turn. Turn. Turn.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Turn. Turn to the right, not to the left. I am Eeyore through and through. Half glass empty. Woe is me. I'm never going to sing and praise the bars off the jail cell that way. Never going to happen. I'll sit in that jail cell and rot.

unknown

True.

SPEAKER_03

I have got to shift my mind that direction. Now, if the Lord had to say that to his disciples, his apostles, whoever it was, and the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. Here they are asking him to increase their faith, and they had done seen mountains moved. They had done seen the tomb, the tomb opened up. They had done seen famine beat or uh uh the fishes and the loaves. They seen dead people rise.

SPEAKER_04

And here they are asking, increase our faith.

SPEAKER_03

Increase our faith. Increase our faith. Think about that. Have you ever seen a dead body rise? No! No! But we're I've seen miracles everywhere. Everywhere. We just have to have eyes to see them and ears to hear them and a heart to receive them. Here is the most powerful leadership of the early reign church looking to their Savior and asking him for help. Increase our faith. Increase it. I'm lacking. I need more. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. 17 6. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of a mustard seed, ye might say unto the sycamine tree, be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the seed, and it should obey you. They lacked faith. I lacked faith. One more time, the tabernacle. Sister, you're going to get the Holy Ghost baptism.

unknown

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

You're going to get the Holy Ghost baptism.

SPEAKER_06

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Don't ask no more as to why I didn't get it today. Just know that it's coming and it's ready and it's all, it's going to be exactly the way you need it. It's going to be exactly the way you need it.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_03

You're going to get it.

unknown

No doubt.

SPEAKER_03

Know it, own it. The world, this worldly system that we watch out there, name it and claim it garbage. They don't even have the right to do so. But here sits the children of the Most High God, baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, and don't have enough faith in my own body to say, God can kill my daughter.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

God can help me with this procedure coming up Wednesday. God can.

SPEAKER_03

He is always there. He's omnipresent, omniposed, omniscient. He is on the throne today, tomorrow, in the next debate, in the next debate, in the next debate. If they needed their faith touched, my God, what do you think we need? Our faith. Oh my gosh, I need my faith touched because there's no way, brother, I'm gonna lay down and let somebody stomp all over me. I'm a horrible, wretched part of the man.

SPEAKER_04

I have things in my spirit and my soul that I need cultivated and dug up and uprooted and plucked out and sheared off and hurt with blah blah blah. I have so many things inside my life that I need my faith touched.

SPEAKER_03

How do we get back there? How do we get back here? How do we get back here? How do we get back here? Stop thinking anything other than just you being the way you know you should be. Don't look at that. Don't say that. Don't speak of that. Read, help Lord, help me to read my Bible more. Help me to think more on you. It's just that simple. Purify this up here. Purify this up here. And we will go back there and stay back there more than you've ever seen. And that's what people are gonna see. They're not gonna hear you speaking in tongues. They're not gonna watch you do this, they're not gonna say this to you, they're not gonna hear you say that. They're gonna feel what's emanating from you because of your atmosphere of where you're living, which is behind the veil. Amen. And here, here, here, here's a huge. You can't even do that without the Holy Ghost. So anybody out there that says that they're behind that veil, I know that's hard, folks. I know that's hard to hear. They're lying. They're deceived. God is coming to his people. In the Jewish days, in the Israelite days, if you were not born a Jew, born of an Israelite uh uh seed, you were not God's people. It's that simple. Everybody around them was not, was the they were outsiders that had to come in, and the requirement for them was the same for everybody that was already there. Now, today, if you don't speak in tongues and you don't have the forget the doctrine for a minute. That'll come. But if this isn't the minimum, if you don't accept the Holy Ghost and come into this, then you can be no part of this kingdom because this is the kingdom. You're born into this kingdom. You're born into this kingdom the same way that was born in by a natural seed.

SPEAKER_06

There you go, natural, spiritual.

SPEAKER_03

So if anybody doubts or you know people that say this or that about the Holy Spirit or about the Holy Ghost and about speaking in tongues and different things, let them say it. Let God judge all that. Let God work all that out. So as we go to the Lord in prayer today, my name, my number one focus here is this. Lord, please, Jesus, help my faith. If those great men of God needed it, I need it. And it's that simple. It's that simple. I don't care what you're doing. Just stop today. It doesn't matter what you're doing, just stop. If Brother Lineger was anywhere remotely close to what his depiction was for possibly the latter rain breaking out, then brothers and sisters, we are close. I'm not going to put times and dates on it. You guys can do as you wish with that. God wants us to come to higher ground, wants me to come to higher ground. Wants us to worship in a different mindset, in a different way. If you have had trouble filling the spirit, or if you've had trouble worshiping, or if you've never felt the worshiping spirit, or if you've never really felt like that bubbling up and and different things, some of the men, some of the men here, I'm talking to you, because it's different for men than it is for women. But if you if you look around and be like, man, I kind of wish I could, I wish I kind of wish I could worship like this one or that one. You can.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

But you've got to put forth an effort to do so. I'm not a natural worshiper. I have to put that on until it becomes part of me. Part of me.

SPEAKER_01

Part of me, part of me. It's not faith. You're putting it on. And eventually it will become part of the home, part of the house.

SPEAKER_03

If you have need today, don't take my word for it. You know, and some I'm not I'm not gonna go there because that'll sound like a rebuke. We've got to get beyond my opinion. And what I think you should say, and how I think you should say it. If everything that I just said wasn't of the Lord, then pick out and choose what you think was. No, you should consider it all. Not that I'm some holier than thou righteous man, because on the way over here I got bent and had to close my mouth because I was about to go off on somebody for running a stop sign in front of me with the trailer. My atmosphere was instantly doomed. Bam! Just slammed to the ground. So if I was here, see you later. I'm back out here now. It's that simple. And once we get inside this this area right here, and we begin to partake of the unleavened bread that's in there, and allowing the Lord to shine like a candlestick within our life, showing us everything that we need to let go of, and we feel this aroma, this has no aroma. There's a perpetual incense burning there, but it has no aroma until you put it on there. No, that's the other way around. That's wrong. That's backwards. This smell would represent the preciousness of God and what he can do in your life in prayer. In prayer. Backwards. This has no burnt offering until you put it on there. But once I get in there and I spend enough time in there and I'm feeling what I'm feeling, Brother Connell's close. I'm just gonna call him out. He's spending more time in here than I've ever seen him spend before in my life. And rightfully so, because he must be first partakers. And now he's gonna start preaching and teaching and doing all the things that he knows to do to drop breadcrumbs so that you and I can pick them up and follow after him. Anyway, okay, so let's wrap up here. Once you spend enough time here, you're not gonna want to come back out here. But we've got to fall in love with this enough to where this doesn't call or call for it back. That's all there is to it. It's that simple. It's that simple. Modern-day holiness and righteousness looks just like that. That's my whole spill. Yeah. Sure, sure. I think that that's an individual thing. I really do. Uh, but but yeah, you're not the only one that said that before. He said that don't you think that the church should get together, brothers and sisters should get together and talk and fellowship together more than just on Sundays. And I I this is I know that Brother Connell has told me this in the past. Yes. The answer to your question is yes. But that's an individual requirement or an individual draw or an individual desire. You know what I mean? If you desire that, then you then then then that's something that you can seek after. Or if that's something that you need or something that you require, that can be an individual thing there. But do I think that we should spend, no, no, I I I think that we should we should try our best to to at least talk to one another or at least fellowship with one another here or there. Uh or or say certain things, or or just you know, like some of you sisters, I'll see you drop cards or or just send a text or this or that and the other. I mean, I'm not gonna write you a card, Jason. I probably should drop a text to you. Be like, hey bro, you good over there? Yeah, I believe that. I believe that. But there's also a danger there, too. Sometimes fellowship even furthers what you see that you might not like inside that brother, and it can hinder you or that sister. But with full maturity, absolutely. We better get used to seeing each other because you're you're striving. I don't know if you know this or not, you're striving to have eternal life with me. I'm striving to have eternal life with you. You think I'm going away? No! Eternity with each other. Let that settle in. Thus bringing the back to the point: if I can't love my brother or I can't love my sister, well, let's just add a little bit to that, then how am I supposed to love my Lord? And whom you say, in whom that you've never even actually seen. I have not seen one thing that those apostles, that early, that early reign uh uh uh uh movement church had seen. I've not seen nothing of those of those natures. I've seen spots be moved, I've seen, I've seen you know, God touch uh physical things inside the body, but I've never seen a withered hand go away. I've never seen a tomb and say Lazarus come forth and here he is walking out there after being dead for three days. I've never seen all that. I've never watched somebody be bit by a viper and be completely okay. No. So if they lack faith, I must know and admit that I lack faith and ask the Lord to help me increase it today. Today, today, today. Today is the day of salvation. Yes. Today. So without further ado, I appreciate you listening to me. I appreciate you considering what I'm saying. I appreciate you being able to strive and to try to overlook my temperament, to overlook my personality, to take the good and leave the bad. Ask the Lord how much of what I said to you today is from the Lord and just from my own common knowledge. It's expensive in here. We need to take, we need to take, we need to take better inventory of it. I need to take better inventory of it. This is expensive. It's very expensive to be in here. It's very expensive to talk. One time a week, bro. That's all we got for now. So be in prayer for everything with the church, the the stuff with the uh with the the the the uh the lawyers and different things, and that's all that's all coming to a head now. We're within just a few emails, and that's that's done. Gospel Truth Assembly will be an official unincorporated LLC. Um we've had some tax, yep, tax exempt, uh but but not in the common way that we think. And here it's been a long road with that. I've dropped the ball, she's dropped the ball, blah blah blah. A lot of work though, a lot of work, a lot of red tape. Because we we we worked feverishly to make sure that we that the that what they said on that paper doesn't infringe on our belief. And buddy boy, I'm here to tell you it was very difficult. My gosh. Because it's just cut and dry with them. Oh, you're a church. Here you go. No, I was like, nah, no, we're gonna have to take that out.

SPEAKER_04

Well, what do you mean?

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, you're gonna have to, it's been a lot. And I'm not a lawyer. No. Anyway, let's go to the Lord in prayer. Let's ask Him today. Let's ask the Lord today to come in and help us. I challenge you. And this isn't just for one of you. This is for four or five or ten of you. I'm not singling anybody out. I hear a lot of chatter. A lot of chatter. None of it straight to my face or to me directly, which I don't like. But I hear a lot of chatter. There's some of us in here that hasn't touched the spirit in a long time. Everybody wants to talk about how we had worship services in the garage. That is no different than then to now. If you want that today, come up here and draw down on it. Pull! If you want that today. If you don't want that today, then don't do that. And Brother Connell probably has something amazing to say to us. But if you want a knockdown, drag out, drunk in the spirit, worship service today, it don't matter what song he puts on them speakers.

SPEAKER_00

We could just clap our hands.

SPEAKER_03

We could just go right now. But see, you have to have the faith that it takes and get outside your comfort zone. Me, I don't require a ton of worship and a ton of this and a ton of that. But I have to push beyond that. What would it be like if there was not one individual in this room talking to each other as we worship? I'm not saying you shouldn't do that. Don't get tucked your toes back here for a second. But what if? What if there was no talking at all during worship? Every one of us with our hands raised after. Whose fault is that if we don't get it? So today, come on up if you want. Don't come on if you want. Whatever you need to do, do it, but do it with your whole heart. How about that? If you want to sit down there today, sit down there with your whole heart. If you want to come up here and run across back and forth, then come do it with your whole heart. Don't do it because I'm telling you to do it. Do whatever is going to bring you some type of a clarity and some type of a touch from the Lord. Because the touches from the Lord and the worship is what helps the medicine go down. And the medicine's coming. Alright, so let's pray. Let's all stand and go to the Lord in prayer. I need help today with my faith. I need help today with my body. I got a procedure coming up. And I know you've heard this before. I'm sorry. I'm sorry it takes 40, what is it? 40. 40 minutes. I wanted to be talking for 20. I'm sorry. It's just that it's I'm sorry about that. Because I'm I'm a firm believer that we need to be on point. We need to be on point. And I'm I'm saying I'm sorry to that because if I were better geared, and if I were more spiritual, and if I had more time reading, I probably would be quicker, sharper. Bang, bang, bang. Let's pray and ask the Lord to help us today.

SPEAKER_01

But please, please.

SPEAKER_03

Do it with me. For you. Pray for you. Wipe away what we're about to do tomorrow. Wipe away just for 20 minutes. Do you know what kind of healings we can have in 20 minutes of a worship service that you've never felt in your life? One drop. One drop. And it's all up to us.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, Jesus. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_03

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

I'll just take a few minutes here. First and foremost, I want to thank our Jesus and God the Father for giving our sister the baptism of his spirit.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You know, everything that God does for us works off of faith. For you to give your heart to the Lord that you've never saw, first and foremost, God has to begin to draw on you. And then you've got to get a conviction that begins to deal with your conscience, that you're living a life that's not pleasing to God. The whole word of God, everything in those 66 books is for our admonition and for our learning and for God to give us instructions. And as our brother Tim was saying today, if you look at the body of Moses for 40 years in the wilderness and watch them Jews ever since God brought them to become a nation by sending 70 souls into Egypt, and then they had the land of Gosha, and everything they went through for God to get them where he wanted them to be, it took faith, and it took a process for that. But it takes faith to get saved. First and foremost, the Bible says you must believe that he is. Well, how do you believe that he is? Well, you're standing on a planet that's spinning over a thousand miles an hour, and the oceans, five of them, are staying in their basins. And God created an atmosphere for us to breathe. Then he gave us all the vegetation, all the herbs that we need. When you look at the universe and you look at the way God's done things, well, it's pretty foolish not to believe. I think it would be harder not to believe in God than it is to believe in God. Because when you look at the natural body and the way that God made the body, look at what a magnificent, I think it was David in the Psalms that said that God has created something magnificent when he created the human family. But he created the human family that we might worship him as our creator. But the problem's always been that the devil don't want to worship God, he wants to worship himself. And that's where all of our problems is at, is that uh God wants us to worship him, but we have a will and we have another spirit that's in our life that wants us to worship us instead of worshiping him. And the sisters and the brothers in the church that don't have the baptism of the Holy Ghost as them yet, it's a promise. God don't break no promises. It's just a matter of you or I or whoever needs that gift to reach that certain point to where you can slip behind that veil that Brother Tim was talking about today. Um, you know, I've never watched a woman give birth, but they say that she walks down to the valley of death, and that it's a uh that it's a terrible ordeal to bring that new life into into the world. There's a pressing, and there's uh something that she has to go through to bring that new birth into uh into the world. It's the same way with God. When that new birth comes into our vessel, it only comes by us pressing. I seen our sister uh uh gainer today pressing. She was actually, her eyes was closed, getting her mind just totally on God, and then all of a sudden I seen the Spirit of God come down upon her. It ain't gonna be long till she'll be speaking in tongues.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, Well, how important is it? It's so important that Christ came to bring it. How much more important could the baptism of the Holy Ghost be than Christ come to bring it?

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And then to find out that not one soul under the old covenant could move out a live soul or have eternal life. Not one of them. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, all the great prophets. Nobody under the law could have eternal life.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

There was no eternal life under the law. Let me just give you a couple scriptures up. I'll work Brother Matt and Brother Michael out a little bit. But aren't we thankful for a new birth? Amen. Do you know when you get the Holy Ghost, as our sister did today? Do you know that when that Holy Ghost moves into your vessel, you've got a portion of the power of God that created the universe living in your vessel?

SPEAKER_03

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

Born again, just like Jesus said you would be born again. Jesus told him at the Last Supper when he broke the bread and poured the wine. He said this to him. He said, Do this, and as often as you do it, do it in remembrance of me until I do it anew with you in my Father's kingdom.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Until I do it anew with you. That takes place when you drink of that wonderful Holy Ghost. It comes into your vessel. God gives you a sign by letting your tongue speak in tongues, a language that you know nothing about.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And now that's your prayer language. Sister Dana, you've got a prayer language now.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

That if you get really burdened or troubled or you get to praying real hard, let that tongue come forth. Let that new birth come forth. Let that sp uh that tongue speak to God with that Holy Ghost that's within you. Let it talk to God. The problem of it is we're bombarded in a world that's so natural. Everything's so carnal. And God's anything but natural and carnal.

unknown

Just the direct opposite.

SPEAKER_00

He's spiritual. He's a spirit being. He dwells in the spirit. He lives in the spirit. And he wants that Holy Ghost to have residence in every one of his children. The Jews had a terrible time believing in Christ. You know why? Because he kept telling them, you must be born again. And there was already a kingdom. The Jewish nation was a kingdom. And there was a kingdom through a natural birth. Do you know that the only people God called his kingdom was the Jews? He didn't call the Canaanites or the Gershonites or the Hittites. He didn't call none of them nations that was around Israel, his people.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

He called his people the people that he had his covering on.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

And wherever those Holy Ghosts, wherever those people of God went, they had a cloud that followed them. For 40 years a cloud followed them. If they lost sight of the cloud, they lost sight of life. There was no life outside of that cloud. They depended upon it for water. They depended on the cloud for food, manna. They depended on God's covering wherever they went. But God always wanted to move inside these clay vessels. He lived right there in this holy of holies. Right here. He lived right here. Presently, the Shekanda glory of God rested over that mercy seat, a cloud by day, a pillar of fire by night. That's right. And yet all that being done, and them Jewish people were just like me. Stubborn, stiff-necked, and hard to believe in the things of God unless God's right there, spoon feeding you every day.

unknown

Oh God, that's true.

SPEAKER_00

The moment God ain't around, the devil jumps right on the throne. And nobody can ever say that God backed up on us. No one can ever say that, for he said, Lo, I shall be with you always. I'll never forsake you, never leave you. If you get uh off the trail with God, it's you chose to do so. It isn't God that put you off the trail. And uh we all get off the trail whether we want to admit it or not. We're always not on that uh hot trail of God. We're not always under that canopy of God because sometimes we miss God. And it can be something that's so important with God that he won't let you fill his spirit properly until you find out where you miss God at. Where did I miss you at, Lord? I've given the story many times about the hunting dogs, and Sally was such a good uh blue-ribbon dog that she was so smart that she knew when she lost the trail just to continue to make little circles, then bigger circles, until finally she'd pick up that trail of that rabbit. Well, we've got to make little circles and big circles until we find out why God ain't around. Why aren't you around in the home anymore? Why is my marriage not uh doing very well? Why is my children this way? What's going on, Lord? Start to sniff, start to put your nose towards God. Ask God, what if I missed you at, God? Where did I miss you at, Lord? And go back and get back on the trail again and watch God come onto the scene again. Amen. Somebody said, Well, I've never done anything. Brother, we're wrapped up in such a mantle of flesh that you don't even have to go out to sin anywhere. You can sin right within your own heart by meditating on things that's not of God.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Just let some uh wrong thought come in. Get a wrong attitude toward your brother or your sister. Start uh nitpicking each other. You've missed God. When you begin to become a nitpicker, don't tell me you're walking in the spirit. You're walking in the spirit, alright? The spirit of Adam. That's it. But the more God gets in our life and the more we realize how wretched we really are, we'll put down our rocks and begin to pray for each other. I look at our brothers in the church and I think, what a brotherhood we can have. Arm in arm. You know, I've never been in the military, but uh they who is it? The Marines that says we'll leave no wounded soldier behind? No, all for one, one for all. One for one?

unknown

All for one, one for all.

SPEAKER_00

All for one and one for all.

unknown

And no man left behind.

SPEAKER_00

And let and leave no man behind. So we know a brother or a sister in the church is going through a valley, a trial, a test. Then what do we do? We get around that brother and that sister, not even if it's in the physical, in the spiritual. We begin to pray and bombard God for that brother or that sister. We don't want to see anybody die. We don't want to see anybody backslide and go back into the world. We don't want to be, we want, we don't want to lose one soul.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

But we have to learn with wisdom on everybody is different and nobody grows alike.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_00

Nobody in this room's got the same mentality. Most people are smarter than I am in this room. But guess what? I don't never want to get so smart that I think that I'll ever out fox God.

unknown

Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_00

You can't out fox God. You can't do it. He's an all-seeing eye, an all-hearing ear. He knows everything about us. There's nothing that we can do that we can hide from him. David said, Can I go to the depths of the ocean and get away from him? Nope. Can I go to the highest mountain and get away from him? Nope. He watches us night and day, but yet with that merciful spirit that he's got, that love that he's got. He sees us falter. He sees our spirit get it in a certain way that's not of him. He doesn't beat up on us, he starts loving on us.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

I think the worst whippings I've ever got from God is when I knew I needed a whipping, and instead of whipping me, he loved on me. I couldn't take it. I'm just standing there like this, waiting on him to give me a whipping. You knew you shouldn't have done that, Ken. And I'm waiting on a whipping, and instead I feel the love of God come down on me.

unknown

That's right. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

And he breaks my spirit by loving on me when I'm not even lovable. He's a good God. He loves every one of his children. But the law could not produce life. Believe me, not a soul under the Old Testament went to heaven. Not one. Bring me up this scripture. I'm not going to take too long. We've had a wonderful service. The most wonderful part of this whole service is going to be remembering the day that Sister Dana got the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And what did she say? Somebody told me she said, I can't believe I got this. I can't believe I got this. So now she's got something that can take her further and deeper in God.

SPEAKER_06

Amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Further and deeper in God. And then those of you that's striving to get the Holy Ghost, just remember. God ain't never gonna break no promises. Luke's gonna get the Holy Ghost. Dana's gonna get the Holy Ghost. Dana got it. Tina's gonna get the Holy Ghost. Sister Loretta's gonna get the Holy Ghost. Who doesn't have the Holy Ghost in this church is gonna get the Holy Ghost. I guess if I could put it real simple, if God would help me, is that you were a part of the kingdom of God by a natural birth when Moses went to deliver the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. Those people were called his kingdom. And that kingdom of God lasted until the day of Pentecost. And then God done something to take away that kingdom and replace it with a different kingdom, a spiritual kingdom. The kingdom under the law grew by natural birth. And by a natural birth, every Jew that brought forth children, the kingdom started growing. And seventy souls went into Egypt, and after 400 years, there was about a million and a half of them come out of there. After 400 years of being in bondage, God brought them out. Then he brought them out into the wilderness to test and try them. So he said, test and try them. That's exactly what God done for 40 years. He tested his people and tried them to see whether they'd love him or love the nations around them and their gods.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Their gods of the other nations wasn't Israel's God. They had all kinds of gods. Egypt had 300 gods. Their two major gods was the sun and the moon. And that's why, when was it Jacob or Joseph that got the dream that his brothers was going to bow down before him? God gave him a dream. That God gave Joseph this dream that he saw all of his brothers bowing down before him, as sheaths of grain, as like wheat, I believe it says. That they bowed down before Joseph. And when he told them that dream, they envied him even the more. They hated him about that dream. You're going to tell me that we're all going to bow down before you, Joseph? Then he got another dream that even the moon and the sun bowed down before him. And it even upset his father, Jacob. Jacob said, Will you even come with this dream to me like as if me and your mom's going to bow down before you, too? But that dream came to pass because God don't break no promises.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

That dream come to pass because when they sold him into slavery and thought that they were rid of him, God blessed him everywhere he went. That's right. Everywhere he went. And finally, when he became next in power to the Pharaoh, God gave him the keys to the corn crib that everybody needed to survive, and here comes his brothers. Bowing down before Joseph. Why? Because God honored that man and God blessed that man. But Joseph went through a whole lot of trials and a whole lot of tests before God gave him that power to have the keys to the corn crib. Whatever God's going to do in your life, there's challenges that'll come with it. There'll be testing points that'll come with it. God wants to know what you're going to do. If you've got this weakness in your life, I've got a weakness. There might be different weaknesses. God, every once in a while, bring it up before you. You might miss it a dozen times, or you might miss it year after year, but God never gives up. This is a school that you never fail. You just stay in the same grade. Until you pass that grade and get up to higher ground. But God's a God that's uh that's a promising God, and he promised the children of God that they would see a better resurrection. The people under the law. So just for, I mean, I think I don't think I know that our brother Jason Gaynor, he put an article, he's got an article, on uh the law could not produce life. I think that uh anytime he wants to pass that out, have some uh articles of that made up. But this is something that we went through in the garage many, many years ago, knowing that God did not give eternal life under the law. Just uh let me just uh give you a couple scriptures here uh so that it might help you. Let's go to Hebrews 10 and 1. Hebrews 10 and 1. For the law having a shadow of good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year, continually make the comers unto perfect. They'reunto perfect. Perfect is a, you know, to the flesh, perfect is a bad word. And perfect, I think, is a better way of saying perfection is what God's after in our life, is full maturity. You can say that you got a cherry tree, an apple tree, a plum tree planted in your yard, but you can't say that it's a full mature tree until it produces what it was planted to produce. My grandfather, when he'd plant his garden, he'd put a little stake at every row, and then whatever seeds he planted, he'd put that cover, that packet, down on that little stake that he put in the ground so he knew what to look for, what was going to be growing in that line right there. And when it would pop up, you couldn't tell what it was. But as it began to get grow bigger and bigger, it began to manifest what it was. If it was corn, it began to look like corn. If it was beets, it'd begin to look like beets. If it was a candle, or if it was a melon, it'd begin to look like a melon. And so that's the way God is with us. He's a seed sower. Now God planted a seed today in our sister. God gave her the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is going to increase her hearing and increase her understanding of the Word of God. That's what Jesus promised that. That when you receive the Holy Ghost, you not only receive power, but you also receive the ability now to the Spirit of God working in your life to hear the deeper things of God. The deeper things of God, the things that the natural mind and the carnal mind can't receive. Now, keeping that Spirit of God working in your life is a whole different process.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

Whole different process. But now Alex and Dana, their home is one. They both got the baptism of the Holy Ghost in their life now. And the same's gonna happen for every child that's here. Don't get discouraged. Who is the longest one tarryan out of our group? Was it Crystal?

SPEAKER_03

Sister Crystal or Brother Michael or Brother Michael.

SPEAKER_00

How many years did you tarry for the Holy Ghost? Ten? Ten years. How about you? Seven. So don't get discouraged. Seven years after asking God for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And then once you got the Holy Ghost, you realize you could have got it a long time ago. It was just that perfect faith, getting behind that veil long enough that spiritually speaking, the old man dies for a moment that God can come in.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Brother Connell, could you hit on how important it is for those of us that have it to speak, to keep it alive, and to speak in tongues?

SPEAKER_00

Well, sure. The Holy Ghost is a prayer language also. And when you receive that baptism of the Holy Ghost, now you can pray in tongues. You won't even know what you're praying. But the Holy Ghost that's within your vessel knows what it's saying to God, even though you're not knowledgeable what it's saying. It's the Holy Ghost in you making intercession with the Holy Spirit above. And you might be praying in tongues and not know what you're praying about. Just go to God and you're so burdened, or something's happened in the family, or some tragedy, or something, and all of a sudden you bend down to begin to pray, and no words come out except the Holy Ghost language that God gave you at your birth. It begins to come and flow out of your belly, and God receives it, and God knows everything that it's saying.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

What a marvelous God.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

And then Jesus even said this. He said this to his disciples. Don't you depart from Jerusalem until you're endured with power from on high. Don't you leave Jerusalem until you receive this new gift. Could you imagine how they felt when Jesus was around them at the campfires and talking to them about the parables and everything about him and his father? Books couldn't even contain what he talked to those men about. But three and a half years around the campfire, following their master wherever he went, listening to all the messages that he gave, watching all the miracles that he done. And then he tells them, I'm going to have to depart from you. I'm going to have to go back from where I was before I came. And they got very sorrowful. And Jesus made the statement, he said this. He said, I'm not leave you comfortless. You've had me with you, but not very long from now, I'm giving you a commandment to go into Jerusalem. And in my departure, me and my father's coming back, and we're going to give you a comforter that will abide with you forever. Amen. Hallelujah. And that baptism of the Holy Ghost. But you can grieve the Holy Ghost and not fill the Holy Ghost like you should be filling the Holy Ghost by just dumping everything into this vessel right here, except for what God wants. Just everything. That little phone of ours is the most ungodliest, wickedest thing that's on the planet right now.

unknown

Yep, yes.

SPEAKER_00

It was devised by man, and now this AI is the exaltation of man, and it's the last time he's going to get exalted before God ends it. That AI is so smart that within moments you can go across the world and get all the knowledge of all the professors, all the theologians, everybody, and everything you want to know something about, that quick it can pop up. Search and found. But the problem of it is, is that she hasn't been born again because she's a machine. And she has no feelings, no emotions, or nothing. You can gain the knowledge that she has, but you can't gain the spirit of God. She has not the spirit of God. She's a machine. So that special touch that God gives us when we get to baptism of the Holy Ghost, Abraham desired it. Isaac desired it. Job desired it. All the prophets desired it, but they all died without it. Every one of them died without it. Let me finish this and I'm going to get down from here, but. Yeah, that's a good one, Brother Matt. Just stay right there. Because I have, this is in red. If you got a red letter Bible, they're right. You don't have to worry about it. When they took the original scrolls and they put Jesus' words in red, you don't have to wonder if that's right. That's right. When you read your Bible, if it's a red letter edition, everything in red, they ciphered down to it. This is all the words of Jesus. Because I have said these things in you, sorrow has filled your heart. Well, Peter got rebuked. Jesus is talking about his death, and Peter said something along the lines, oh, not so. You don't know what you're talking about, Jesus. And you know what Jesus said to him? He said, Satan, looking at Peter, he said, Satan, you get behind me. Now don't go off in the cosmos with Satan. He was a Satan to Christ that day because Christ was already suffering mentally. He was thinking about the cross, knowing the price he was going to have to pay, and here comes Peter punching on him.

unknown

Yep, yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

And so Jesus called him an adversary. That's all the word Satan means. All the other stuff that they've come up with is come out of the confines of carnal men, wanting to interpret the Bible without even having the Holy Ghost in their life. Putting their own spin on it. But the word Satan just means adversary. So he called Peter that day. You today, with what I'm suffering mentally, knowing what I'm getting ready to go through physically, and you're saying these things to me, Peter, right now you're an adversary to me. Satan, get behind me. You can become an adversary to your neighbor, your friend, your wife, your brother. You can become an adversary just by not treating them right or doing the right things by them. You could become an adversary to them. So if somebody looked at you after you punched them in the nose and said, Boy, you're a Satan, all that person would be saying is that, boy, are you an adversary to me to this day? I heard Brother James Sauters one time. He asked the people to pray that God would deliver him from a devil. Now hold on to your seats. That man didn't have no spirit being that was in his body. He had diabetes. And that diabetes was an adversary to him, and so he called it a devil. He called it an adversary to him. So he asked the men in the church, pray for me that God would deliver me from this devil. This adversary that I'm having to deal with with diabetes. Well, you could call anything a devil. Anything that's in your body that's causing you issues, you could call it an adversary. An adversary. Amen. I know that's a very deep subject, and we'll we'll deal with it more and more as time goes on, but let me go back to this. From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go into Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him and began to rebuke him. I'm rebuking you. You're telling me you're gonna leave the church. I'm rebuking you. That's what Peter began to do with Christ. He began to take his Lord and rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord. This shall not be unto thee. But he turned and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan. Was Peter some fallen angel that day? Was Peter a fallen angel that day? No. Think about it. Was Peter a fallen angel that day? Was that Lucifer standing there in front of him? No, that was a man with the wrong thoughts, and that had become an adversary to our Lord. And so the Lord says, You're an adversary to me, Satan. You adversary, you get behind me today, for I'm suffering to go to the cross. That's powerful, folks. Get thee behind me, Satan. Thou art an offense unto me. For thou savorest not the things that be of God, but those things that be of men. Now, what were you saying? Could I elaborate on something else?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, just uh how important it is for even those of us that have it that haven't spoken tongues in a while. It's important that you that you become fluent in it. Yeah. It shouldn't be a long time past before you speak in tongues.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Well, there's people that's gotten the Holy Ghost and didn't speak in tongues again for years and years. Right. I I think it would be a good practice that once you get the Holy Ghost, like like Dana now, and all of you that's got the Holy Ghost. How many of you have ever knelt down to pray and this and the Holy Ghost take over? Have you ever done that?

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's God's uh given a language to you that your soul can begin to cry out to God with that Holy Ghost that's down in you. That Holy Ghost that you receive on the day that you receive it, a power comes into your vessel. The same power that created the universe, now a portion of that is in you. That's why Jesus said, I've been with you all this time, and the Holy Ghost has been all around you. Do you think that the Holy Ghost still gets around those of you that don't have the new birth as of yet? Do you think that you're walking this by yourself? No, no, no. The Holy Ghost is around you, but he wants inside of you. The Holy Ghost is around you, keeping you, holding you, but just like he lived in a tent, when they lived in a tent in the wilderness and the tabernacle, he lived in a tent. But he always wanted to be in the hearts and the bodies of his believers. That's where he wants to be. That's why who was it that said, I think it's in the book of Corinthians, isn't it Paul that said, we have this treasure in earthen vessels? Give me that scripture. We have this treasure in earthen vessels. I think it's 1 Corinthians.

SPEAKER_03

2 Corinthians 4 and 7.

SPEAKER_00

2 Corinthians 4 and 7. What does it say right above that brother? For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Break that down and think about that for a while. Then Paul goes on and he says, But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. Everything they'd done under the law was done by the flesh. All their sacrifices, everything. It all pointed to Christ to come, but now God didn't want that anymore. That came to an end on the day of Pentecost. The law was done away with, and a new kingdom came on the day of Pentecost. And it came to a certain hundred and twenty people. Nobody else on the whole earth was receiving this gift but the hundred and twenty. The Sadducees wasn't receiving it, the Herodians wasn't receiving it. The Pharisees wasn't receiving it. You had to come to God. You had to believe in God, and on the day of Pentecost, what he promised took place. Tarry in Jerusalem until you receive power from on high. Power to do what? Power to do what the law could not do. Power to get closer to God. Power to pray to God in tongues. Power to put down the flesh that nobody could do before the power. Came.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

But you got to live in the spirit to put the flesh down. The flesh is never going to get rid of the flesh. That's right. Remember that. Flesh does not get rid of flesh.

unknown

Nope.

SPEAKER_00

Flesh eats flesh.

unknown

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

What did God say to the serpent? Upon thy belly thou shalt go, and dust thou shalt eat all the days of thy life. There ain't a snake on the planet that lives off of dirt. But we live off of it. We live off of everything that grows out of the earth. We live off of it.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Everything grows up out of the earth is coming up out of the dust. And we eat that stuff that comes up out of the dirt. But that's in the natural. But where it really gets bad is when we begin to eat the things that's carnal over the things of God. Guilty.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Guilty. You know, I'll say this. I'm just like everybody else in this church. There's only the only difference between any of the men or women in this church and your pastor is that God's given me a gift to lead you further on in God. So I go through the same struggles, I go through the same valleys, I go through the same doubts, the same fears. And as you're growing in God, so am I growing in God. So as I'm patient with you, be patient with me. Because I ain't got there yet, Alex. I'm still a man and a man at best. But I want to get closer to God so that I can help you to get closer to God. That's why he gave gifts unto men. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry. Then people will tell you, well, nobody can be fully matured in God. Well, that isn't what the book of Ephesians says. I know I'm jumping all over the place here, but the book of Ephesians says that he gave wherefore he saith in Ephesians 4 and 8. Now he said this. Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. What did he lead captivity? What did he leave captive and took it back to heaven? What does that mean when he ascended up on high? The captivity that he capted, uh, the captivity, if I can get this right, what he done is he came down here and he put the serpent on a cross. He crucified his nature. So when he went back to the father, he led captivity captive. He had captured it. He had defeated it. He led captivity captive. He had captivated that old man that you and I fight with every day. He overcome that old man. He never once sinned against his father, but tempted at all points. He led captivity captive.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Hallelujah. That's right. Nobody knows what that means.

SPEAKER_00

Praise God.

SPEAKER_03

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Then he uh he made a statement in John 3, I believe it is. Now let me finish this, and then I'm gonna get out of the way here. Drop down to the 11th verse. In the 10th verse, Brother Matt. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens. What heavens did he get above? Why does the Bible even speak about first heaven and first earth is gonna pass away in the book of Revelation? We had that chart up here today. We'll stay right here. But Tim was showing you that the courts is first heaven. And eventually that's gonna be rolled up and put away. Because the courts is where all sin is dealt with. Sin is dealt with in the courts. There's no sin behind the veil. If you tried to bring sin behind the veil, you drop dead. That's what happened to Aaron's two sons. They didn't go through the proper procedures. They just grabbed a coal out of a fire somewhere and ran into the holies of holies and dropped dead.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Strange fire, the Bible said. The strange fire was that they didn't get it from the proper source, which was the brazen altar.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

They had to get a coal from the brazen altar. They just grabbed any old coal and thought they was going to run in and meet up with God. They dropped over dead.

unknown

Didn't respect the process.

SPEAKER_00

They didn't go through the proper procedure.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

And so here we are today. We're learning more and more about God. But the way we learn more about God is learning more about his son. That's why he sent his son in the fullness of time. He sent him in the likeness of sinful flesh.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And for sin, condemn sin. We're in the flesh. In the flesh.

unknown

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

We're all born of a fallen seed. We're all born of Adam. That's right. That's why we gotta be born again.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Because as all you've been born of is Adam, you can't produce Christ properly.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

You've got to be born again to produce Christ in your life properly. And then you've got to stay in fellowship with what you've been born of.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

And the only way you can do that is by meditating, listening to things that's got a good smell and a good taste to it, something from God, listening to a tape, listening to some godly music, doing things that keep your heart in tune with God. Praise God. This heart right here, I got stints in it. And it's getting weaker. I'm 75 years old, my heart's getting weaker. I tackled the yard and thought I was 35, and at 8 o'clock that night I realized I was 75. I couldn't even get out of bed the next day, hardly. Guess what? I'm not worried about this heart. This heart is not going to get me eternal life. This heart will get me life. Amen. That's why the Bible says, guard thy heart with all diligence, for out of your heart comes the issues of life. Amen. You begin to think evil of somebody. The Holy Ghost ain't giving you those evil thoughts about somebody. It's the flesh that's giving you those evil thoughts about somebody. You get jealous of somebody and what they're doing and all that they have. That ain't God giving you that jealousy. That's the nature of the flesh that's giving you that jealousy. You get bitter at somebody for what they've done to you or how they mistreat you, and you hold on to that bitterness. That ain't God giving you that bitterness. That's the flesh giving you that bitterness. And guess what's going on? The serpent is eating the dust.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That's right. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

He's eating nothing but the carnality, the dust. Brother William Sauders, every time he'd go to a different town, he'd go to the zoo. And he'd go to the reptile section of it. And he'd ask these people that was taking care of all the snakes and all the reptiles. He'd say, Do you got a snake in here that eats dirt? And he always got the same, no matter what zoo it was. No, we don't have such a snake that lives off of dirt. Well, I know a snake that lives off of dirt. Cabbage, green beans, carrots, it all comes from the dust. But the worst thing is, is not only the cabbage and the green beans, which is good, God gave it to keep the old man alive, but the worst thing is, is when you begin to partake of the carnality that God put in man in hope that he would serve the creature, I mean the creator, more than the creature. That's where we're at. We're up against that. That's all our battle is, is whether you're gonna serve the creator, the creator, or you're gonna create, or you're gonna serve yourself.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

I don't feel like going to church today. I stub my toe. I don't feel like going to church today. It's beautiful sunshine. I got a thousand things I want to do other than go to church. You just gave in to the serpent.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You just gave in to the old man.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You just flat out gave up and gave in to the old man. Now you're sitting on a beach drinking bomberito or drinking some uh cocktail drink, and you're getting the sun and you're just living it up when you know good and well that there's having church. Putting other things before the kingdom. When you start putting other things before the kingdom, there ain't nowhere to go but down. You're just gonna get further down, further down, until finally you don't come back at all. What happened? You got lost somewhere. So he said, Well, what about vacation? Everybody deserves vacations. But, okay, so Tim buys a bass boat. And he says, Dad, I won't be in church no more on Sundays because I joined a bass tournament. And now I'm gonna be in a bass tournament every Sunday. Whenever he comes back to church, you're gonna see a wrinkled up mess. He chose bass tournaments over the kingdom of God. This is the kingdom. The church is the kingdom. When it says first seek ye the kingdom, that means seek each other in each other's welfare, and each other's uh growth and prosperity in God. Seek that first, and then all these other things shall be added unto you. So if Brother Tim, where would we be if just joined a baseball team? I won't be there anymore on Sunday, Dad. I joined uh the Hooligans. I joined a baseball team. And unfortunately, it's every Sunday. I won't be there anymore for a while. Tim, I won't be there either, Dad. I joined a bass tournament. Well, what's gonna happen if everybody gets that attitude in the church?

unknown

You won't have a church.

SPEAKER_00

You won't have a church. Everybody's seeking something other than the kingdom. They're seeking their own things. We read it last week that uh in the book of Timothy, that they have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

There's no change in their life. If they feel like staying home, they stay home. If they feel like going to the bar, they go to the bar. But they're gonna be there for their 45-minute sermonette. Come Sunday, they'll be there, and the smoke will be out, and the guitars will be playing, and everybody will go home with this fictitious veneer that I'm serving God.

SPEAKER_03

That's it. That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_00

They're not serving God.

SPEAKER_03

They're serving the mammoth themselves.

SPEAKER_00

They're serving self. Most people wouldn't think of coming to church at one o'clock, and now it's a quarter to four, and I gotta quit. No. That's too much church for them.

unknown

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

What are you gonna do if you make eternal life? And churches every day. All day, every day, in and out every day. You're in the presence of God, and you think you're not gonna worship, you're not gonna be there until you learn how to worship.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

That's it. Amen. Amen. Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

So let me quit because I know we've got to wrap up and put everything away. But this wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost. Keep praying, Tina.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Keep praying. Keep praying, everybody that's got the Holy Ghost, that we'll begin to use it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We'll begin to communicate with God through our tongue language, through the language that God gave us. I put this in a nutshell. The Corinthian church got so excited about talking in tongues that that's all they were doing. Nobody knows what they said. The whole church in Corinth was coming together, and Monty was speaking in tongues, Sister Lavir was speaking in tongues, granddaughters was speaking in tongues, the brethren was speaking in tongues, and people would come into the Corinthian church and say, them people are out of their mind. And so Paul had to write an epistle to them about tongues is wonderful, but I'd rather speak five words in a language that you understand than 10,000 words in a language you don't understand. What if I just stood up here today and started speaking in tongues? And for 45 minutes I spoke in tongues and said goodnight. You went out of here with no knowledge whatsoever about God in any way. I just had a real fun time with me and God and my tongue language, my prayer language, communicating with God, and so did the whole church, and we went home, and nothing was profitable other than the Holy Ghost is within you talking to your maker. So is it bad to talk in tongues? No, it's wonderful, but there's a time and a place for all things. So they just got carried away with it, and they was coming together, and everybody was just speaking in tongues, speaking in tongues, speaking in tongues, and people was coming into the church to see what was going on, and Paul said, This ain't profitable what you're doing. You need to speak with the things of God, but you need to speak in a language that people can understand. You're communicating with God, and then some people will say, Well, Paul never spoke in tongues and doesn't say that he spoke in tongues. Yes, it does. He said, I thank God that I speak in tongues more than any of you. But in the house of God, he said, I'd rather speak five words that you can understand than 10,000 in a language that only me and God knows. So Pentecost has gotten out of order in some things, but now you don't have to worry about that in Pentecost anymore. They've done away with the Holy Ghost. They've become a Judas. Pentecostal churches has become a Judas to God. They don't teach it anymore. They don't even believe you need it. It's just an added gift. No, it ain't just an added gift. It's an absolute commandment of God that you can't have eternal life without it.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

It's a commandment. It's not if you feel like it, it's a commandment from God.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

But I gotta let us put this tables back and stuff. But aren't you thankful for the Holy Ghost? Amen. You know what's gonna bring the Holy Ghost more and more in our church services? Start talking about the Holy Ghost. Start being obedient to God. Start doing things that you know the old man don't like. You know, you it's not hard to find the old man. Just turn on the TV. You'll find him instantly. Just turn on your phone. Tim's right. My God, we're gonna have to get to the point where this phone, no matter what, you're gonna ask something that don't relate to nothing. And the next thing you know, you've got some ungodly provocative woman or an ungodly provocative man staring you right in the face and undressed in front of you. Immediately the serpent goes to eating.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Starts eating the dust. Starts eating the dust. That serpent likes dust. And if it's something spiritual, the old man wants to spit it out.

unknown

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's why the Bible says the word of God is precious to the soul, but it's bitter to the belly. When it talks about the belly, it's talking about the old man.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

The old man. But as you begin to eat more and more from the tree of life and leave the dust alone, the more spiritual you become. The more God talks to you, the more God gives you dreams, the more your home gets in order, the more peace you have. I've got to quit, but I want to say this. In the baptism of the Holy Ghost, just like in the natural seed of a man, when a woman and a man get together, that seed meets up with a fertile egg, and nine months later a baby is born. That baby has got the genes in that baby. I noticed, little Ada. She got red hair, don't she? Red hair. Isn't it funny? Isn't it funny that I eat green beans, you eat green beans? I eat corn, you eat corn. We all eat the same thing, but every one of us got different colored eyes, no thumbprints alike, different colored hair, different features about us. Why? Because it's all locked up in that seed. Everything that the Holy Ghost has to give to us is resonant in the baptism of that seed in your life. The Holy Ghost. We ought to be full of joy. We ought to be full of long suffering. Patience. Mercy. All the nine spirits of the fruits of God should be beginning to manifest in our life. After years and years of having it within us, it should begin to manifest some of God's character. I mean, I've looked, I got two sons. One's six foot three, one's five, eleven. One weighs two hundred and two forty, two fifty. One weighs a buck eighty-five. A buck seventy-five. Same seed. Different though. But down under, they got a whole lot of dad. God bless them. God help them. God help them. But as you're born again, then you begin to manifest Christ in your life. Huh? So somebody pulls out in front of you and gives you those hand signals and you're ready to stomp on the pedal and run them off the road. You're eating the devil's food. The serpent's eating on dust.

unknown

That's a fact.

SPEAKER_00

But if you can get a cool head and just say, man, God, they must be having a terrible day today. I hope and pray you can help that individual. Now you're eating heavenly food. And the old man wants to vomit that up. But the Holy Ghost within you wants to keep on saying that. God bless that man. He must have a terrible day today. I haven't reached that point yet. But I'm laboring for it. I'm better than I was when I was young. Oh God, oh God. Oh, I'm so much better. You know, we ought to give ourselves some credit. Everyone in this building ought to give yourself some credit that you're still here. And you're here after a message I gave last Saturday or Sunday. I wondered how many was coming back. You shocked me.

SPEAKER_06

Oh God, we love you, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

You're all back. It's because we're lovers of life and we want fellowship with God. And God will not fellowship us until we're fellowshipping Him. Draw nine to me, and I'll draw nine to you. In closing, you draw nigh to God, not by these, not by your feet. You draw nine to God right here. David said, I've put the word of God down in my heart. I've buried it there so that I'll sin not against you.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

That I'll sin not against you. And then keep your conscience alive. That's the last thing I'm gonna say. Keep your conscience alive. Don't shear it. Have you ever sheared your conscience, Brother Connell? More times than I ever want to tell you. But guess what? That merciful God can restore your conscience. You know what your conscience is? It's what every baby and every human being is born with. A conscience that God wants to take over. He wants to take that conscience over. If you begin to do something and your conscience bothers you, that's God's way of telling you, stop what you're doing. Stop what you're doing. If you're screaming and hollering at your wife, and all of a sudden your conscience gets a feeling bad or bad, stop screaming at your wife. Your conscience is telling you you're not doing the right thing. Vice versa. Wife screaming at her husband. That ain't God. God don't go around screaming at us.

unknown

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

But yet we've got to get that old man tamed before we can whip him.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You can't spoil the strong man's goods until you first bind the strong man. You will never get out of the web and kill the spider until you're free from the web.

unknown

Yes. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Praise God.

SPEAKER_03

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Hallelujah. Amen. This ain't a new gospel. This is an old gospel coming back to be brand new again so the world can hear what God gave the twelve. God bless you. I love you.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God.
