SPEAKER_06

Thank you, Lord. Pray to God. Pray your holy name. Thank you today, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Pray your holy name. Thank you, God.

SPEAKER_07

Pray to God. Pray to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Pray to God. Pray to the Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_06

Pray to God. How many of you came? Expecting God. Expecting God to move in the midst of us. We need his covering, don't we? We need his power in our lives. It's a long journey. A lot of pitfalls and a lot of snags in this life. Don't know which way to go sometimes, but we got a God in heaven that watches over us. If he sees the sparrows fall, how much more does he watch us? So it's good. We're thankful for everybody to be here. The Bobby's up from Pennsylvania. We have Teresa and Kevin up from Carolina. And then we have all the locals. How about being called a local? But we're thankful for everybody to be here today. We will get out of this service what we put into it. If we come today with a spiritual mind, God will give us something spiritual. And so to be spiritually minded in the day and age that we live in with all the surroundings around us, everything at our fingertips, the television, the radio, them little phones, that everything under God's heaven can pop up on those phones. To be spiritual minded in the day and age that we live in takes exercise in your mind to become more and more spiritual than carnal and natural. Amen. But it takes the Spirit of God to do that. How many of you need something from God today? Whether it be a healing to your soul, whether it be a healing to your body, whether you need the baptism of the Holy Ghost, whatever it is, nothing will ever get done without the power of God moving in the midst of us. Amen. Because everything works off of the Holy Ghost. And so for God to come in and touch our needs, we have to draw on. A lot of people don't know what it means to draw on God. It means you get your mind girded up. Don't worry about what somebody next to you is talking about. Don't worry about what's going on out in the hall. Don't try to disrupt the service with your phone. Don't get up and go out of the building unless you have to. All these things, the Holy Ghost is like a dove. How would you like the Spirit of God to come in here and give you a witness of how real God really is? How would you like to be the children of Israel and all of a sudden look up and every night a pillar of fire over that tabernacle? How would you like to have a big cloud every day? Wherever they went, a cloud followed them. And every time they needed water, they would speak to the rock, and the rock would give out water, and that rock was Christ following after them. Such miracles that went on. But yet the rebellion that was down in them, it hindered everything that God ever done. The biggest thing we're fighting in our day and age is rebellion.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

And that's a nasty word to people nowadays. Yes. You talk about rebellion and they get all funny and act like you're some kind of a cult or this or that, but in reality, if we can just get above self, just get our minds on God and get him one accord today. They was ten days in that upper room. They was fixing things up, they was repenting to one another. They was talking things out, and finally, the Bible says, when they became one and one accord, suddenly a sound from heaven came into that upper room like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled everyone that was in the house with the Holy Ghost, and they all came out of that upper room, speaking in tongues of other nations around them.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_06

What a marvelous uh witness God gave on that day of Pentecost, the 50th day after Passover. Hallelujah. What a marvelous witness. Wouldn't it be wonderful today? That if we could get in one accord mentally, our minds on nothing but God today, wanting to know what God wants out of this service today, wanting to get up higher with God, getting our minds on God pressing through this whole nasty veil of the flesh, this carnality that we all have, getting close enough to God to bring God in here for somebody to get the Holy Ghost, somebody to get healed, somebody to get a revelation, somebody to get saved, somebody that's backsliding to get back on track with God. None of it can happen without the Master. Yes, hallelujah. It takes God and His Holy Ghost, His wonderful spirit. You can't see it, that's why it's called a Holy Ghost. It's a ghost. You can't see it. God's made himself visible to the children of Israel with a cloud and a pillar of fire. But I have actually seen that cloud two times in my life that the power of God actually moved in. When you get enough experiences with God, you won't have to live by faith alone. You'll have enough on your staff that you walk with in this daily life, as nasty as it is, you'll have something on your staff with God that anytime you get discouraged, you're down in a valley, you're going through a trial, whether it's a long trial, a short trial, or an immediate trial, you can just look at your staff and know where God's brought you from, and you can put the devil to not by telling him, look what God has done for me.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_06

Hallelujah. Look what God's done for me. Praise God. So let's have, let's press today. We're thankful that God still gives the Holy Ghost. Amen. Had one get the Holy Ghost last Sunday. Our sister Dana got the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Somebody says that ain't for nobody but them back there. Well, I don't know how she got it then. Why is it still happening? Amen. Why is it still here? It's here because it's a commandment. It's a commandment of God. We must be born again because that first birth is never going to produce nothing but the flesh. But that second birth can produce Christ in us, the hope of our glory.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Make yourself at home today. Don't get afraid of anything. Don't question nothing. Just if God comes in when the music starts, just raise your hands or fold your hands. Whatever you can do to get yourself quiet enough to let that wonderful dove-like spirit get a hold of your spirit. Yes. And you can begin to worship him like the true worshiper does in truth and in spirit. The time has come when the true worshiper shall worship me in spirit and in truth. What spirit? My spirit worshiping his spirit. And his spirit helping my spirit. And brother, when you get 20 or 30 people together and get your mind on God like that, you'll have a service that you'll never forget. Praise God.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, it's good.

SPEAKER_06

So let's just uh maybe start out with some music and praise the Lord. Get the brown ground broke up. Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Bless the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

How many of you have been going through a trial? Yes. How many of you has had God picking at you? Somebody said, picking at you. Yeah. How many of you has had God speaking to you about different characteristics and different things in your nature and things that you shouldn't be doing? Oh God. Can God do that? He absolutely can do that. Better hope he can do that. Because if we don't have our conscience sheared, we're going to be dealt with, especially as time goes on. Because this little church and tens of thousands and the millions don't realize today how close we are to God wrapping up this Gentile world. We're right on the verge of God wrapping things up. I don't know if I'll get up again, but I'm set because I'm not feeling the greatest. But let me tell you this God's watching the oppression that's put upon the work of man in this nation. We're in a backslidden nation. This nation is no longer a godly nation. They ought to take that saying, and God, we trust off of every dollar bill after off all coins because this nation no longer trusts in God. That's right. This is a backslidden nation that we're in. And we've got to walk through it and keep ourselves pure walking through it. What a calling is on our life. What a challenge is on our life. We can't do it without the help of God. But when you look at the gas prices, $100 to fill your tank up. Go to the grocery store. Brother Ken said that gas in our city is over $5 a gallon now. It's going to get worse because of all the trouble over there in the Middle East. Go to the grocery store. When I was a young man, if you spent $100, you had a shopping cart and another shopping cart and come out of the store. Now you walk into the store and it's $200 and you can come out with two little miserable bags. Yeah, that's true. And then your gas bills, your electric bills, everything is being oppressed. It's nothing but pure greed. It's greed. Yes. Yep. And no wonder the Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. That's right. Why? Because money will make you famous, it'll get you anything you want, ungodly or godly. It'll get you anything you want. But God's people normally are not a rev a real rich people.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

Because Jesus said, beware of the riches of this world, because a rich man has already received his reward. What's that mean? It means that a rich man has already received his reward because he doesn't need God because he got enough money to buy himself out of everything. Best doctors, best lawyers, best homes, best cars. What's he need God for? But he said, Preach my gospel to the poor, for they shall gladly receive it. Praise God. But there's different ways to be rich. And I'd much rather be rich in Christ than rich in this world. Amen. Hallelujah. Because the riches of this world is soon to come to naught.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Our nation that we're in, oppressing the poor like they are, every other nation, this nation that forgot God, you know when God gave us a sign that his covering wasn't on us properly anymore? When those two planes crashed into the Twin Towers? If you were spiritual, you could get a revelation that day that God is not in charge of this nation anymore. You know what God is in charge of, though? His church. But the church is going to have to separate itself from the world. We're going to have to separate ourselves from this world. That doesn't mean that we go out of the world because we got to work, we got to live, we got to eat in this world. It just means we don't participate with the things that the ungodly participates in. Then we have to make sure that we don't get involved in this ungodly religious world. That's right. This is an ungodly religious world that we're in. We're in a Sadducee-Pharisee world.

SPEAKER_11

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Everybody's having their ears tickled.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

45 minutes they're back home, the next day they're in the bar drinking. But yet they're on their way. They do not know their Bible, and the preachers that's preaching that garbage to them are going to give a greater account to God than those that they're preaching to. That's right. Because they're preaching fallacy. That's right. They're preaching fallacy. So we've got to guard our heart because it looks real good, don't it? Sure. 45 minutes and you're back home watching the ball game, and you never heard nothing that troubled you at all, everybody's toes went out without a bruise on them. Nobody got their toes stepped on. But that's not what's going to take us to get where we need to be. We need some more Isaiahs to rise up. Matt? Brethren, we need some more Jeremiah's to rise up. We need some more Ezekiel to rise up. Jeremiah was called a weeping prophet. Why? Because he saw what was getting ready to take place, and he saw the conditions of idolatry in the hearts of God's chosen people, and he was constantly weeping and putting out messages to prepare that God is not going to tolerate this much longer. That's right. He kept it up until they stoned him. They didn't want to hear him no more. You get people going into these little sermonettes on Sunday. I'm sorry, but I just need to tell you this. They go in there and get their ears tickled. And you know why? Because we are in the day and age. Don't look outside this building. It's you and I that's a part of this also. We're in the day and age, so where men and women will not adhere to sound doctrine.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

What is sound doctrine? It's the doctrine that came from the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and pregnated the minds of 12 men. That's what we have to go by.

SPEAKER_11

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

The pattern that we've got to live our lives by is that Bible and the words of those 12 men of God that God left to lead the church.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

There's no new pattern. Just because we're in the year 2026, everything's changed, God don't change. If it was wrong for them, it's wrong for us. If it was good for them, it's good for us. You've got people that'll go to church today. That'll get into those little 45-minute church services, honest to God saying how great thou art, and was sleeping with somebody last night.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

You know, if you're a fornicator in this building today, you need to get right with God.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Because sooner or later you could get cut off and God not deal with you again anymore. That's right. But there's some sins God just won't tolerate. And I heard a Baptist preacher preaching, looked up at his choir, and he made the statement. He said, Some of you was out last night sleeping around. No intentions on marriage or nothing else. And here you are in the choir today. What do you do, Brother Connell? You can't put a stop to it altogether. But you know what? God is watching every one of his children. That's right. And I'm not bringing the church down. I'm lifting you up. I thank God for all you people in here. It's a miracle that we got this many people here. It's a miracle. It's a miracle you're here, Tina. It's a miracle, Luke. It's a miracle. It's a miracle to have my daughter and my son-in-law with us today. It's a miracle to look back there and see you sitting back there. Amen. Praise God. And every one of us is miracles. Look where God's brought you and I from. From the gutters and from the down and out and the trodden on, and sin captivates every one of us. But God one day broke it all by that powerful blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When you met your Savior, you met that power. That wonderful working power.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

I want saved again. Amen. Amen. Let me say, well, what do you mean you want saved again? I want saved again.

SPEAKER_11

Sure.

SPEAKER_06

I want to be saved day by day. I want God to give me a new walk, a new inspiration, a new touch from Him day by day. Absolutely. Praise God. And so I'm not, I'm proud of the church that's here. Proud in a good way. I'm proud to see young people here. That's right. I am. I don't think nobody had to drag you to church today, did they? No. My two granddaughters over there, you came on your own.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

What about that? Very fortunate. And you know, uh just say this and we will let the music play. God has been letting me to know your pastor know. At 75 years of age, I'm just getting fully the revelation that God's been trying to give me for most of my life. Now you figure out how hard-headed I am. After 75 years, you know what I'm really realizing more and more is that you are God's children. Everybody in this building is God's children. That's right. And I can't change a one of you. That's right. If I could change you today, I would come right back and lay my hands on everybody in this building and change you. But I can't. But when God spoke to your pastor years ago, and I was bawling and crying about everything going on in my own life and around me, and he said, Are you the father of spirits, Ken? And I said, No, Lord. After an hour crying and praying, he said, Well then, that's how he ended that conversation. Are you the father of spirits, Ken? And I said, No, Lord. He said, Well then. Yes. What about that, Matt? Well then. You know what he meant by that, well then? Then what are you doing out here crying for the people and seeing their faults and failures and your own faults and failures? Can you do anything about them? You just cut the grass in your own backyard. You do what I ask you to do, and I'll take care of my children, thank you. That's right. Amen. And when God goes to taking care of his children, nobody can take care of you like God.

SPEAKER_01

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_06

So I don't want to preach at you. I want to preach for you. Amen. I want to preach for you. If you're here today, God's brought you here today. You might as well get something while you're here for a few hours. You might as well let all your ambitions, all your troubles, all the things you've been going through, let them all go and just get God if He comes into our service. You know, if we never got nobody getting the Holy Ghost, I'd be afraid. But when you still got people getting the baptism of the Holy Ghost, you know God's in the midst of us. And right now is in our time. Right now is in our time. We're on the back side of the desert, and God's working on individuals to bring about this latter rain. And so right now, if you're being chiseled on, hammered on, and put through a process, thank God for it. That's right. Thank God for it. Job, after everything he went through, can you imagine what Job went through? Lost all of his children, all of his property, all of his cattle, all of his wealth, and finally there he was, sitting in the midst of all those ruins, and God smote him with boils. What was all this about? Even losing his wife spiritually. What was all that about? It was about God trying to break Job's spirit. Breaking Job's spirit. But there he was, boils from God. The religious world will tell you that the devil done all that to Job. Job says who done it to him. He says, God done all these things to me. And so when you realize what God will put somebody through, man, we got it made right here. We're under a shade tree right here. Amen. Not going through anything those old men of God went through. But Job, as he was scraping the boils off, his wife said to him, Well, Job, after all this, we've lost the children, we've lost everything. Why don't you just curse God and die? That was a logical thought. It was so bad and everything stripped from him. Go ahead and just curse God and get it over with and die. But Job had the statement that should ring in our ears. Foolish woman, can God bless me and give me all this? And can God not take it away? Should I quit serving God because everything isn't peaches? Can I serve God only when I'm on the mountaintop? Or can I serve God when He's testing me so severely that I'm sitting here scraping these boils off? Praise God. I hope I don't have to go that route.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, God, help us.

unknown

Help us, Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

But God's got a process and he's not going to change. Every child of God that loves him is going to go through the same process. And that process is called the baptism of fire to purify our nature and to get rid of the elements that God doesn't like in our life. And if we refuse it, we fit the scriptures. We have a form of godliness, but we're denying the power thereof.

SPEAKER_02

Amen, amen.

SPEAKER_06

We're refusing to make any change.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, Lord, yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. I want to change. Don't you want to change? Yes, amen. I want to change. Hallelujah. I'm sick and tired of who I am. I'm tired of being the one that always has to look up and ask God for more mercy, more grace.

unknown

Jesus, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_06

I'd like to become an obedient child of God before I pass from this life.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_06

I'd like to hear God say, Well done, thou faithful servant. Enter in. One more thing and I'll shut up.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, God.

SPEAKER_06

Jesus made a statement in the book of Luke. He said, pray that you can enter into the strait. How is that spelled? S-T-R-I-A-T? How is that spelled? Luke there. The book of Luke. I think it's Luke 13, 23 or something like that. But that straight is a different strait. Where's it at? Yeah, S-T-R-A-I-T. Yeah, S-T-R-A-I-T. That straight, when you look it up, it means real narrow. It means so narrow that you're going to struggle to get through it. That gate is so narrow that you'll struggle to get through it. But what did he say? He said, strive to enter in at the straight gate. For many, read that.

SPEAKER_01

For many. Strive to enter in at the straight gate. For many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in and shall not be able.

SPEAKER_06

What in the world? That don't sound like once saved, always saved to me. That don't sound like it's all fixed up and ready to go, just accept Christ.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

He's saying strive to enter at the straight gate. The other straight, which is what, S-T-R-A-I-G-H-T? That means like a piece of metal that's bent and you heat it up and straighten it out. Or you straighten this out this way. That strait that he said is so narrow that many will strive to enter in and not be able. I'm striving to get in through that gate. I'm striving to get in through that gate. What does it mean, many shall not be able? Too much flesh. And I'm not talking about this flesh. I'm talking about this flesh. The carnal mind.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_06

It don't matter how big you are as far as your body goes, but how big are you up here? Oh God. Is this up here over? Is it taken over by the carnal mind and the natural mind? Are we striving to be more spiritual? And as we strive to be spiritual, the outward man dies, but the inward man is renewed day by day until the point to where you walk through that straight gate and you're not so stressed anymore, for you have captured the old man and put him in place. Praise God. I'm striving to do that. But boy, is he tricky. Is he tricky? Amen. He's the most subless beast that the Lord God made, the serpent. Sure is. And don't look around for no serpent. Just look in the mirror and realize that that serpent's staring back at you. It's that carnal mind.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. I've said enough. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Take off from here, church. What's that? Just preach the vision.

SPEAKER_01

Preach the vision.

SPEAKER_06

Our vision. Absolutely, that's our vision. We have a vision that's different than most of the religious world's got. We have a vision that God's going to have of a people that are pure in heart. And that He's going to have a church that's not got no spots, no wrinkles, no blemishes. Don't look at me because I still got spots. I still got blemishes. And guess what? I'm just here to help lead you. Not to drive on you. I'm not doing that no more. Help me. Help me not to do that. Yes? I don't want to drive on the flock of God. And I can do that. That's in my temperament to drive the flock of God. But guess what? If you drive the flock of God, sheep are very, very uh skittish. If you go to driving on them, they'll just go to wandering around and wander off somewhere. But on the other hand, you can't lead goats. Goats don't, they're not led. There's no shepherd in front of them leading them. They have to stand behind them with a little prog and keep poking at them to do what's right, to go in the right direction. I want to be a sheep. But God's got to change the goat to a sheep in my life. That's right. And that's what I'm after. Hallelujah. I'd like to be a good sheep for God. I'd like to be a good sheep for God, wouldn't you? Amen. That's why we're here. And to get this many people with this message just now and day and age, you're a miracle sitting there. Praise the Lord. Why would you come and listen to a man keep preaching against sin and getting your life fixed up with God when you can go get a 35-minute sermonette and get your ears tickled and go back home and never know that you're on your way to hell?

SPEAKER_11

Oh my God.

unknown

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_06

You're on your way to the chambers of death. Because there's not enough gospel being preached to get you out of those chains of death. That's right. Praise God, I've said enough. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Very good. Somebody take off from here. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Wouldn't you like to see the power of God come in here and touch us all? Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. We got people that drove from down south. People that drove from Pennsylvania all the way from Carolina. We got the Stanley family makes an hour drive every Sunday. Every Sunday. Every Sunday. Powerful. You tell people that and they think we're crazy. Why would you people be doing that? Because we found something. Yes. We found something. Amen. We have found something. That's right. What have you found, Brother Connell? We have found the gospel that Jesus Christ delivered 2,000 years ago, and we're wanting to get all the rubbish off of all that and get our spirits where them men and women's spirits was, so God can bring in this latter rain.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_06

The power of God that you'll see the dead raised again. You'll see people in wheelchairs. Get up and walk again. Everybody says, Oh, I want to see it. We better be ready to see it. Yes. Because when it comes, judgment comes with it. That's right. And the Bible says judgment starts at the house of God. And if it starts with me and you, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear? Praise God. Where will they appear? And what keeps us going on in our imperfections and our daily faults and failures is grace and mercy. And then the idea that we're striving. How many of them still got giants in your life? Oh, yes. Don't be afraid. He already knows whether you are. You're transparent. Everybody here today is transparent before God. That's right. Knows everything you're doing, everything you talk about, everywhere you're going. There's nothing hid from God in not one individual's life here today. That's right. We're all transparent to him. But we're looking through a glass darkly right now because if God showed us ourselves everything about each and every one of us, or put it up on that screen, here's what Jason is thinking about. Here's what Brother Connell's thinking about. Here's what Jess is thinking about. My God, that would be a mixed-up mess on that screen. One's thinking, won't he shut up and let us worship? That'd come up on the screen. One's saying, I don't want the service to go this way. That'd come up on the screen. I'm thinking about who's going to win the calf game. That would come up on the screen. I'm thinking about what I'm going to do after church. That'd come up on the screen. And then we wonder why God ain't around. That's good. God ain't around because we're not around.

SPEAKER_03

That's good.

SPEAKER_06

We're here, but we're not here. We're absent. We're here in body and absent in spirit and mind. My God, my God, this is a day that we need to get closer to God is not tomorrow, but now. Now we need to get closer to God. How do we do that? Pull on the Lord. And let that Holy Ghost, the power of the Most High God that created the universe.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Our sister last Sunday got the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You that's got the Holy Ghost, you've got the power of the Most High God dwelling in this earth and this alright. Hallelujah. And if you can learn to let the power preach up to the power that gave it to you.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

Hallelujah. God, what a church service we could have. Amen. Amen. The boy bringing our minds into captivity to God. It takes God's help to do that. Yes, Lord. Takes God's help to do that. Amen. Praise God. Amen. So whoever was thinking, I hope he shuts up. I'm done.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Lord. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Brother Tim.

SPEAKER_10

Just like my whole ministry.

SPEAKER_06

That's a good talk, right? Good talk. Amen. Amen. That's right. Amen. Brother just starts out with the music, just think of what our brother said. That's right. If God's resting in your life, if you haven't got him up on deck, he's still resting. You need to, yeah, he's not running the ship of your life. Get him up. Wake him up. That's right. Wake him up in your life. Wake him up through prayer, through meditation, asking God for forgiveness every time you falter and fail. No one's gonna get there without faltering, failing. That's right. A good man's gonna fall seven times. The difference between a good man and one that's not so good is the good man keeps getting back up. The bad man stays where he fell.

SPEAKER_07

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

He never gets back up. But you're right, Brother Tim. That's what we need to do today. How many of you feel like you're weak spiritually? Yes. That you've been going through things. Sure. That there's mountains in your life. Let's wake him up. Yes, Lord. Let's get him on top of the ship today. Let's give him the rudder to this service today. Let him guide and lead this church service where he wants it to go. Noah's Ark took all those animals and uh for all those days and nights tossed to and fro by that wind and rain coming down that flooded the whole earth. And there was not no rudder. No rudder to steer that ship nowhere. God said, when you build it, don't put a rudder on it. Why not? Because I'm going to be in charge of the ship. We take the rudder off of this service today and let God lead the ship today, and we get him up where he needs to be, a hold of the rudder. We'll get something from God. But it's only going to come to those that want it to be here.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Lord. Praise God. Praise God. Help us today, Lord. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Praise your name. Thank you, Jesus. Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Thank you. Could we just praise him? Thank him for his covering. Thank him for his presence. Yes, Lord. Do you know God's presence just came into this building? God himself, his presence came into this building. Oh, God, how unworthy I am, Lord. Praise your name.

SPEAKER_07

Jesus in your sweet name. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I just want to stand at my feet and tell the Lord I'm appreciative. I'm thankful. I'm truly thankful to the Lord from the bottom of my heart. Because I once was dead, now I'm alive. And I once was blind. But I see now, Kevin.

unknown

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Been talking with my family the last couple days, and lo and behold, everything we've been speaking on, Brother Connell, my father, got up today and said some of the same words. Put it out there the same way me and my family's been talking about it. And so you know it's God because I haven't spoken to him. And so I just wanted to stand on my feet and say, I'm thankful for what God's done in my life. I'm thankful for him saving. Brother Connell said he's thankful to have his children in here serving God with him. And my sister's a walking miracle. My mother, walking miracle. Absolutely. There's so many people that pass out of this life with an illness, or they can't find a liver. I had a friend that I grew up with, Gary. His name was Gary, and he was down there in Hickory, North Carolina, and he got something wrong with his liver. And they couldn't get him a liver in time. And he passed. 51 years old. And it just makes me so more that much more appreciative that God seemed fit to save my family.

SPEAKER_02

Amen, brother.

SPEAKER_00

Not only from a natural death, but a spiritual death. I'm alive. I'm alive today. I see more clearer today than I seen five and six and ten and twenty years ago. I see and I know what God's after out of my life. If I could just get there, Lord. I'm thankful to have a family, like Brother Connell said, and I'll reiterate it that two son-in-laws and two daughters filled with the Holy Ghost. All you family members. I think I appreciate every day there ain't a day that goes by. I don't think about Brother Tim Gaynor what he said at the Easter Sunday dinner. He looked at me and he says, I love this. We was eating our dinner and he looked around at all the flock and what we was doing in Brother Mathis's garage, that big pole barn. And I was sitting right beside him and he said, Brother Jesse, he said, I love this. He says, I'm thankful that I found this family.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

I'm thankful I found this family too.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Amen. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

It's uh it's it's it's nothing short of a miracle. We're all miracles. We're all miracles. If you'd have told me years and years ago that God was gonna bring Brother Ken and Sister Roxanne and their son back to the house of God and we'd worship together again, I'd have told you you're crazy. But when I was all involved in the world and doing what the world does, I didn't think about all that.

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

It didn't cross my mind that my kids would marry two men and they'd be filled with the Holy Ghost. And give me granddaughters and grandsons. And then he would call Brother Connell back. It never dawned on me. When I was all wrapped up in the world and doing what the world does, it never dawned on me that my father would preach again.

SPEAKER_11

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't think about it. That's not what I wanted back then. I just wanted to serve mammon. I wanted to serve Jesse.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I wanted to do what I wanted to do. But lo and behold, back in 07, praise God, got a hold of us. Praise God that he got a hold of us. My father began to call more than he ever called. He said, son, I feel the pull of God calling me to preach again. What do I do? I was like, let's get down together and repent. And let's press towards the mark of the high calling, and let's get back on the ship. Let's get on that street called straight. Go straight ahead. Brother Connell spoke on that today. Straight. So back in 07, God began to bear down on the whole family. And uh one by one, he was dealing with Tim and my mother and my sister and everybody's household was just calling each other. And Tim started a little work down there in his home. Started bringing people in and letting them fill the Spirit of God and doing things. And then he put the put a spirit on my brother to come up and build with his father. Be a part of what God's doing up here. And Tim gave up a good fine job and everything that he had and moved up here. God will make you do things that you'll never dream of. Yeah, same way. I remember people telling me I'll never do that. Well, they're doing it. I'll never move there. They're living here. I've learned one thing with the Lord, and that is never say never. Because he can change your mind in a New York second.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Just with the click of his finger, so to speak, he can give you a whole brand new change of thought. You can go to bed on the wrong side of the bed and be all about yourself. And in the morning, God rejuvenates your mind and you're back on the street.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

I've had it happen. Go to bed raw. Something in your spirit. Bitterness, jealousy, envy, strife, rebellion, sin. Go to bed like that. Thinking God ain't gonna do nothing. And by the morning, I feel God jerk me out of bed and tell me to repent. Come to me, all you that are heavy laden.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I'll give you rest. Rest from what? Rest from the things I used to do in the way I used to be.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Am I perfect? Is everything bought and ready and paid for? Am I on my way? Not just yet, but I'm striving, Brother Jay. I told Brother Kevin last night, I said, you know what it is? We gotta keep our hand to the plow. We gotta keep our hand on the plow. If a farmer lets go of the plow, that plow goes every which way but where it should.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, it's true.

SPEAKER_00

You ever ran a plow? I love Brother Connell when he gets up and talks about the old one that my grandfather gave to him. That thing was about a 1965 plow with an old eight horse Briggs and Stratton on it. It wasn't self propelled. You know what pulled it along? The the the uh the uh the blades. Most of these uh walk behind uh rotor tillers nowadays are self propelled, the back wheels push it. This thing pulled itself along by the blades turning, so you had to hold on to it. It. But if you didn't hold on to it, it would go all over the place. But I want God to help me keep my hand to the plow.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Because I got a lot of junk in my earth.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

I got a lot of stones and sticks and sandy soil or this kind of soil or clay or whatever might be down below the surface. God's got a plow and He's uprooting it out of my life, Brother Jay, so I can be more plantable. And we got seeds in our life, and there's good seeds and there's bad seeds. Bad seeds produce bad things. Good seeds produce good things. You can't take a bad seed and make it do good things. You can't take a good seed and make it bad. It's every seed after its own kind. And so the things that I let in my kit my childhood, the things that I was an adolescent or a 14 or wherever I was at in my life, and I let seeds come in, they've grew up and they've produced things, and now God's teaching me how to hew them out of my life. God's teaching me how to get rid of that crop and let a new crop take over. And it's hard. It's hard. It's hard when God gets a hold of your life and you begin to put your hand to the plow and start to let him dig up old rotten things out of your life. Not the soil we lay our eyes on when we walk outside, but this soil. I want to be plantable. I want to have fertile soil that when Brother Connell or whoever puts a seed or the Lord Himself drops a seed into my life, I want it to sprout up and be something. And I don't want it just to lay there and die and not germinate. I want it to take root and grow up and produce other fruit. That's the main focal point of any plant that you ever plant, that it is able to produce other plants. Unless an ear of corn fall to the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it does die and goes to the ground, an ear of corn produces a hundred stalks of corn. I want to die out for the Lord. I want this adamic nature to fall off and fall down and die out for God, that I can produce some good, mature fruit.

SPEAKER_01

Amen, brother. That's good.

SPEAKER_00

My fruit sometimes ain't where it should be. God forbid that I could wake up tomorrow in a bad spirit towards my wife over a silly dream. You ever wake up and have a dream and it feels so real that you're mad at your wife, or you're mad at something, or you're mad at you don't even know what you're mad at. Sure. You just wake up on the wrong side of the bed and you're angry. That's how powerful the mind is. But if we can get to where we can produce more righteous fruit, more mature, a tree don't produce fruit until it's mature enough to do so. We can't produce fruit until we're mature enough to do so. You can plant an apple tree and you can wish and wish and wish that it'll produce your apples, but until it reaches that time of maturity, it's not going to produce you an apple. And neither will I. But through this time and process, Brother Connell's been teaching us on process. There's a process that we all one by one must go through. And God has to get us to where we need to go. He's the one that's going to have to get us there. He that winneth souls is wise. It don't say he that saveth souls is wise. He's the only one that can save our soul. But we can win one another. We can win somebody over to the Lord by witnessing to them and being a good example and letting them feel that sweet spirit of God, letting them experience it's something that they've never felt. This world, and I'll speak for myself, I felt all kinds of things. I felt just about everything there is to fill. Literally. I've done the drugs, I've done this, I've looked at this, I've watched that, I've drank this, I've gone here, I've gone there, I've listened to the rock bands as loud as you could imagine. I fed all that into my garden. But none of it was worth it. I thought it was. See, when you're engulfed in darkness, you don't know how dark this the dark is until you come out of it and somebody strikes a light up. Then you realize how bad I was in darkness. But when you're in the darkness, it don't dawn on you because you're in darkness. But when God shed his light into my life, I started to wake up and come alive and say, My God, heal me. My God save my soul. My God, this light's wonderful, but let me experience more light.

SPEAKER_02

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_00

Jesus said, I'm that light that came into the world. He says, I came down and he told them. They all sat around. I told my sister last night, they all sat around and ate meat and big, glorious, wonderful, natural dinners. And he looked at him and he said, You go ahead and eat that. He said, But you'll be hungry again by tomorrow.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

He said, Why don't you try this meat I have? That meat was his word. That meat was his word. He said, Eat of this what I give unto you, and you'll never hunger again. Does that mean your natural belly ain't gonna wake up tomorrow and want some Bob Evans sausage and some eggs? No, it ain't got nothing to do with that.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

It got to do with your mind. Talking with a young man at work, and we get done after a 40-minute conversation, and he looks at me and he says, Man, what am I feeling? Crying, crying and feeling good and feeling joyous and thankful. He said, I go to church every Sunday and I never leave filling this. Sure. What am I feeling? I said, you're receiving the meat that Jesus said, I can give you this meat. I said, Austin, you're getting your belly filled.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Not this belly, this belly. In here we eat with our ears. I love Brother Lineger saying that. He said, How be it around here we don't eat with this, we eat with these? You let the seeds come into your life. And I begin to witness to this young man, and I do when I feel the leading. Do I always feel a leading to witness to him? No, there's some days, some weeks that go by I don't feel the leading. But when he comes up to me and it's five o'clock and he's getting ready to leave, and everybody piled out of the office, he's getting ready to walk out, and he says, Can I ask you a question? I know God leads me to drop a couple more nuggets his way.

SPEAKER_11

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

And when he told me that a couple months ago, he said, Man, what why do I feel this way when me and you have these conversations? I was like, because the Lord's filling your belly.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I was like, you can't sit down at every table, and not every table, and not every restaurant has good food. You know that?

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

They can do all they want with the outward appearance, and some restaurants will fool you. You pull up to some restaurants, man, and you're like, wow, that's gotta be the bomb. And you sit in there and they feed you nasty food. Not everything that glitters is gold. Not every table that's being spread has the right food to feed you.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

They might have a glit they might have a glimpse of something. They know how to give you a surface charge, but they don't know how to give you an overnight trickle charge. And neither would I unless God showed me. The Lord has opened our eyes onto the truth.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

He's opened our eyes to something so miraculous that it's not of this world. What we're doing ain't of this world. That's right. This ain't picked up, and this ain't some man didn't develop this. Some theologian and some man's mind didn't concoct this up what we're doing here today. That's right. This was developed 2,000 years ago with our King of all kings, the Lord Jesus. He planted what we have here today in the spirit we fill and the word we get. He started this 2,000 years ago. And here we are, 2,000 years off, trying to do this. Like Brother Connell said today, we're all a bunch of miracles. In an age where they're just preaching fallacies and things that's not of God, and they're they're doing what the Bible said they would do. They're calling good bad and bad good. Every commercial you see, I gotta basically turn them. I don't want my grandkids seeing some of these filthy commercials they're promoting.

unknown

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

But you know that's gonna happen, and we can't change it.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

We can't stop it. Do we have to accept it? No, but it's gonna happen whether you accept it or not. We gotta move on around it. We gotta build right on around this garbage. Don't let it get on you. Just walk around it. You can't trip over something you see. If you can see it and you trip over it, shame on you. If you can look down and see a stump going across the path or a big old log and you walk and trip basically deliberately trip yourself, and the flesh will do that, it'll trip you up from time to time. But if you can see it and you learn to step over it and work around it, you can stay on the path.

SPEAKER_11

That's good.

SPEAKER_00

But if you keep seeing something in the middle of your path and you keep walking up to it and tripping yourself over it, shame on me.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Walk around it. How many of you've got things in your life you're sick of tripping over? I've had so much garbage in my life since I was a young 13, 14-year-old boy.

unknown

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I got good and sick of about 10 years ago and still today tripping over some of it, Brother Alex. And I had to cry out on God and tell him to ask me, help me, Lord, teach me how to walk around that. The flesh will just keep tripping over it.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And tell you it's okay. Oh, that's normal. No, it ain't normal. God wants us to learn to have victory. That's right. God wants us to learn to grow up and step over the stumps and the things that trouble us and get away from the things we're watching we shouldn't watch.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Don't do it anymore. Unfortunately, I've done it and done it and done it and been forgiven and forgiven and forgiven, and finally I broke one night and bawled like a baby. The Lord said, I see it. Are you ready? I can feel the Lord. Are you ready? Are you sick of the way you feel? Are you tired of stumbling over that? Are you tired of feeling a guilty conscience?

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

But I had to experience that guilty conscience over and over and over and over. I'm a tough learner. I don't learn overnight. I gotta go over things and over things and over things and stumble and do that and look at that and watch this and think that and bad spirit and all the works of the flesh, possibly. Until I get good and sick of it, and you realize and you come to your senses one day that that's not good. Teach me, Lord, to walk away from it.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

I keep trying to munch on that, and I get sick to my stomach, and then I gotta get up and repent. And finally, over a process of time and suffering, when you walk away from the fleshly desires, you suffer. That is a form of suffering in your flesh. When you walk away from things that you once did and you try not to do them no more. Try. Don't give in. Keep trying. Do we do we make it overnight? Do I do am I there? No. No, things will still try to bombard me, but you've got to put your hand to the plow and say, you know what? Today is the day of salvation, and I'm walking away today.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

I can't do nothing about yesterday, and I don't know what tomorrow brings, but I can serve you today. I can repent today, Jesus, and if you'll show me tomorrow that I'm getting ready to stumble over that again and let me see it, teach me how to walk around it, I can start to grow up in the things of God. That's right. I don't have to go through these sufferings anymore. He that suffers in the flesh, eventually you'll cease from sin.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Suffering in the flesh.

SPEAKER_00

Suffering's part of the process of serving God, folks.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

When God's not dealing with you and you don't have the germ kernel and you ain't getting the unadulterated word of God, there's not much suffering to be done. Boy, I can feel the Lord in here. Yeah. But when you start suffering and you walk away from what's contrary to God, if it's contrary and you don't, you don't, and your conscience tells you not to do it, and you start to walk the other way and not do it, you're gonna suffer a little bit. That's right. But boy, I tell you what, eventually the peaceful fruit of righteousness starts to take over the land. And you're in your garden starts to grow, and you start to look down and you spiritually say, Man, I'm starting to mature. I'm starting to get some fruit that I never once had.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

And that fruit will splash off onto others.

SPEAKER_11

It sure will.

SPEAKER_00

How many of you enjoy a tree where it produces enough apples where we can all walk up and get an apple off of it needed? Jesus walked up to the fig tree and got upset because it wasn't producing any figs. The fig tree's a picture of you and me. He walked up and he was hungered, it says. He got hungry. And when he walked up and all the fig tree was producing was big green fleshly leaves. But it didn't have one fig on it. He says, Cursed be thou tree, and in the morning his twelve marveled how the tree withered up and died. It's expedient. It's very important that we produce fruit for Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

I don't want to be a tree where he walks up to me in 50 years, Brother Alex, and I ain't got a big juicy piece of fruit hanging on me. Right here.

unknown

In your spirit.

SPEAKER_00

In my spirit. There wasn't nothing that talked to Eve. You know what serpent talked to Eve in the beginning? A two-legged serpent. And I'm not even going to go there. But you think on it. My gosh, if there's a serpent that go around and talk and tell us to do bad things, we might as well hang it up. Might as well forget it. If there's a snake, brother Ken, that's going to cause me to do wrong and transgress against God, what in the world are we doing? If you stop and really think about that, Brother Kevin last night said it. He's like, man, it's it's common sense. Foolishness. How do you it's something out of a comic book? It's something you read out of a fairy tale, like Brother Connell said. A snake told me to eat this juicy apple, and now I'm a sinner. Oh, praise God for the truth, folks.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

If you just ask God to touch your mind on that, he'll open it up and show you. She talked to herself that day. How many of you act upon something and you yield to it after you think on it long enough?

unknown

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You don't do nothing you're not supposed to do without thinking on it long enough.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You think on it and think on it and fool yourself and go, it'll be alright. Ain't that what she done? Sure. Nothing will happen to me. I won't die. I do that all the time. Oh, I can say this little fib. It'll cover my hide. This little fib will make me look better at work.

SPEAKER_11

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I can look at that guy and give him a demon eye that just did something to me in the other car. That's okay. No, it's not. No, it's not. That's me telling me that. There's nothing making me do anything against you people or wake up on the wrong side of the bed or do anything I'm not supposed to. You have to ponder on things, and I'm the type where if I ponder on it long enough, Dad, I'm gonna do something. I'll just act upon it. But I'm learning to keep it contained. I'm learning to keep it up here, Brother Tim. Yes, before I let it out here. You see what I'm saying? Absolutely. Eve might have thought things up here for years and years and years, but one day she let it out here, and that's where the sin started.

SPEAKER_11

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Her husband should have put her in her place.

SPEAKER_11

He yielded willfully.

SPEAKER_00

He should have looked at her and said, Woman, you get behind me and let me lead this.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

What you're thinking right now is not of God. Now you stop it. And you repent, and let's get back on a street called straight, but he he ate it with her. Did he eat something with his mouth? He ate it with this.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

And they did something that wasn't time to do. It wasn't an apple on a tree. It was the pear on the ground. Now you think on that. Don't thank Carnel. Thank you, Brother Connell. Don't thank Carnel. Just not the apple on the tree, but the pear on the ground. They'd done something that it wasn't time to do yet. There was a set time for Adam and Eve to procreate and start filling the earth. Now I don't know about you, brothers, but boy, lust is bad. Sure. Lust is sick. Praise God. Man, God can deliver us men. But you gotta want delivered. You gotta get so sick of the carnal mind that you cry war upon it. God's delivered me from some things, and I'm thankful.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

But that's seven deadly, that's one of the seven deadly sins is lust and pride. Pride, I say, I don't have a lot of pride, and God proves me wrong all the time. It's easy to pick up pride. It's easy to be jealous. It's easy to be envious of your brothers and sisters. It's easy to get envious of something at work. You know what we ought to look at our people we work with, how we ought to have? Pity. Pity for them. Not envious of what the ungodly has. I don't want to do that. I want to rejoice because we have a chance to see the Savior someday.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. That's good.

SPEAKER_00

I know men that's older than me that's never felt the presence of God. And it might just so be, Brother Mike, that they don't want to feel the presence of God. I want to feel the presence of God. Amen. The gainers, I love the story of the gainers. I love the story of my sisters and the Mathises and my brothers and my father and how God saved us all. The Stanleys. I began to tell my sister and my brother-in-law last night how God brought us all in. I appreciate what the Lord's doing. I appreciate how that when I looked at Sister Loretta months and months ago, maybe a year ago now, and I said, Have you ever felt the presence like this? And she said, No. Seventy something years old, 70 years old, and feeling God and rejoicing and trying to get the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

How do we know that God wouldn't have just let us go off the scene without never feeling his presence? It ain't never too late to serve God. It ain't never too late to put your hands up and worship him.

SPEAKER_02

Amen, amen.

SPEAKER_00

But I tell you this: the younger you are, and the quicker you get a hold of this, the easier it is.

SPEAKER_06

Exactly right.

SPEAKER_00

The younger you come into this, the better off you are in the long run. So when I look around and I seen all of us as living testimonies and what God's done in our life and recovered us and got us off the drugs, saved our souls from death and opened up our eyes, Brother Jason. Filled Brother Jason with the Holy Ghost. He prayed about it and prayed about it and was reading about it in the book of Acts and how it fell on them. And he said, What is this? One night it fell on him. God said, Oh, I won't just have you talk about it and read about it. I'll fill you with it.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Then he just so happens to be at his job, and Brother Mathis comes in there to do some welding, and Brother Mathis broke, he blows a hydraulic line, and Brother Jason helps him fix it and put the fire out. And Brother Mathis started dropping nuggets and seeds. And there he sits today.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. There his mom and dad sit. Amen. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

There you sit. Little Jack came and didn't know what he experienced over there in that VFW hall. But he went home and he told his mom and his dad, he said, I don't know what I seen, but I know it's real.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Next thing you know, there sits Brother Luke. There sits Sister Tina. Hallelujah. Sister Mary, you're a testimony.

SPEAKER_01

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

God's delivered every one of our souls from death.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Are we bought, wrapped up, and ready to go? Not just yet.

unknown

We're on our way.

SPEAKER_00

He that endureth to the end.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, the same shall be saved.

SPEAKER_00

He's the one that's going to be saved. The end of what? The end when you take your last breath. You gotta go down serving God.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

You gotta go down rejoicing. And so I'm sitting down, but I appreciate the Lord. Thank you. I appreciate him giving my sister a liver.

SPEAKER_01

I love you, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

I can't thank him enough for my sister sitting back there.

SPEAKER_02

Praise your name.

SPEAKER_00

If you would have seen pictures of her one year ago, I warned my family, I don't think my sister's gonna be around. I warned my family, I didn't think my mother was gonna be around. Sure. But here she sits today with a healthy liver. Heard her speaking in tongues and rejoicing and thanking God for what he's done.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

She hasn't had an easy walk. He hasn't had an easy life. Has any of us? Has any of us had just a bed of roses? Just you grow up and you think peaches and cream and everything is hunky-dory, and my God, I never went through anything. I got the perfect family, we got the perfect health. That's garbage. I'm not saying that don't happen. But usually God's got us all in here, and we've been knocked down and kicked around and come from this and come from that and went through this and went through that. That's who God works with. He came to the down and outers. He saved the sinners. He saved the people that got drunk. He saved the people that was drinking too much. Told them, don't be a drunkard no more. He saved us. He brought us in one by one.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Saved our soul from the wretched state that it was in. I've been knocked down, been through some things. It ain't even worthy to be mentioned. It's not even worthy to mention all the names. Negative things we've all experienced in this life. That's exactly. If we can just get our mind on what God has in store for us, we have a chance to see Jesus one day. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

I have a chance to stand with my sister-in-law. I have a chance to stand with Brother Ronnie.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And we can both hug the king of all kings' neck together one day.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

Think about that. I love to hug you brothers. But how do you how much better is it going to be when we wrap our hands and our arms around Jesus? One by one, you'll be able to hug Jesus. You think, how's that gonna get done when there's millions of people gonna want to hug him? Because we're gonna have eternity to get it done. It's gonna take a long time for a lot of people to hug his neck, but when you when you highball the graveyard and you move out of life soul, if that's what you've been called for, or you eradicate sin out of your life, we have a chance to have eternal life. Praise God. If you inherit that and you make heaven your home, whether it's here on earth or whether it's up there in that literal place, if you've been called for that, it don't matter to me. I want eternal life. If I can spend eternity with my brothers and sisters on this earth, and then when it's all done and wrapped up, and then God Himself's gonna come down to the heav the earth, my touch one of the Jubilee that's gonna break out. And you'll see the Bible says that. It's the great jubilee will break out. God with his arm around his son, with Gabriel, the angel walking right behind him. We'll see the one day! Woo! It's gonna be wonderful, Jay!

SPEAKER_03

And it'll be worth it.

SPEAKER_00

It'll be worth it, and we can we can do this. You gotta get your mind sometimes elevated. You gotta get your mind up off comic book fairy tales and think that this is real. There is gonna be a God that when all sin's eradicated and everything's back to the way it was supposed to be, God Himself will come down and ascend with the heavenly host and all the angels.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

And will meet God.

SPEAKER_03

The earth dwellers will meet the heavenly host.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. It says the earth dwellers will be like the sands of the sea. People that make eternal life on earth, it says they'll be like the sands of the sea. The earth's gonna be filled. And it says, in that day and in that time, every knee shall bow. And everybody will know the Lord. There won't be nobody that needs to be saved anymore. They're all saved. We'll all be bought and wrapped up and high above the graveyard and overcome self.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

We'll be full mature vessels, and we can walk off into eternity with each other and the king of all kings and God and all the heavenly hosts. Yes. My God, get ready, folks. Amen, brother. Is that tomorrow? No, we got time. There's time. Jesus ain't coming back tomorrow. At least I hope he doesn't, because I'm not ready.

unknown

He's not coming back.

SPEAKER_00

He's not coming back tomorrow. There's still prophecy in the Bible that's got to be fulfilled.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

But when all the hat shit, the shadows and the hidden types and everything in Revelation comes forth, get ready.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Get ready because he's going to be right around the corner. But see, really, he is around the corner. Oh, yeah. Because our timing ain't God's timing.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

So you really can, you know, the Bible, the the great men of God back in the 50s and 60s and 70s said he was right around the corner. Well, he was. When you think about a hundred-year times uh table, a hundred years? That's nothing. I mean, God, there is no time. Do you think we're gonna wear wristwatches when we have eternal life someday? There won't be no importance on seeing what time it is. We'll have eternity. You won't have to rush off your job, Brother Kevin, and be and worry about being late.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Time was created for man.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

With God, there is no time. Now there is a timing to things.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

See? He works. The Bible says Jesus and God work in time dispensations. There is a timing to everything, but not the way we look at it. There ain't no alarm kind of alarm clock gonna hum on your dresser tomorrow and wake you up when you don't want to get up and tell you to get up and go to work. Everything will be changed. All formal things will pass away. Everything will be made anew, the Bible says. Do I have all the answers? Do I know how he's gonna do all that? No, and I don't ponder on it too much because you'll find yourself a miserable wreck. You ever done that? Sit around and ponder on how the Lord. How are you gonna do this, Lord? Where's time gonna go? Where did God come from? How do you not have a beginning, God? What are you gonna do with all these people, Lord? How's the resurrection gonna take place? Are they gonna come forth out of the grave the way they went down? How are you gonna just all over the place? Your mind can get everywhere. No, don't worry about all that. He's the king of all kings, not me. He's the God that created everything, not me. He's got this. Sometimes I tell the brethren in the Bible studies take a chill pill, but I'm the one once in a while that needs to take a chill pill, sort of speak. God's got this. He's got this. Is there questions that we're gonna have answered? Absolutely. Is there big dynamite doctrines in the Word of God that we're being taught? Yeah, we're being taught as we sit here to tell you the truth. Sure. You can get on subjects in the Bible, and there's a time and a place for that. But when Brother Connell's up talking, he is an apostle. He does the work of an apostle. I'm not titling him that, but he's showing the fruits of that. He's planting us. He plants us. That's the main gift of an apostle is to plant our souls in the Word of God to show us where we're going wrong. And so he'll jump around and he'll hit from Genesis to Revelation in one hour. And you think, man, what was all that? But believe it or not, God's doing something in your soil.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

The Holy Ghost and the Spirit of God can bring everything back to your remembrance that needs to come back.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

In the flesh, I forget things in two hours. Very important things that my boss will remind me at work or something and it's gone. He'll ask me a week later, Did you do that? Did you call that person? Did you make that note for me? And I forgot. But when it comes to spiritual things, God will bring it back to you when it's time. And if you got the Holy Ghost baptism in your life, it's the spirit of not forgetting. It's the spirit of wisdom. It's God's spirit. It'll give you everything you need. It'll open up your vessel. It'll let you see further than you ever thought you could see.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

But I appreciate the Lord today. I'm thankful for being here. I thank God for what I felt here today. I'm thankful for the Spirit touching all of us. And I just want to tell the church I love all of you.

SPEAKER_11

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

I appreciate you. We're going to do this together. We're going to do this together. You know, it is an individual walk. It is an individual walk. But we're all a part of the body.

SPEAKER_07

That's right. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

We're all a part of the body of Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

We're all in this together. We have to be there. When one cries, we cry with them. When another rejoices, we rejoice with them. When one's down, you get over there and you pick your brother or your sister up. When they're up on the mountain, tell them to help you get on the mountain.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

But it's an individual thing, though.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You must go through your own individual suffering. You must go through your own individual walk with the Lord, and you must go that lonely road sometimes where it feels like there's nobody around you. That's part of serving God.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You have to be showed where you stand so you'll quit falling. If you never know what makes you fall, you're going to keep falling. But if we know where we stand, we'll quit falling eventually. And so as an individual, you must keep your hand to the plow. As an individual, Sister Crystal, I can't do nothing for you other than pray for you and me and Sister Mandy come down and visit you from time to time. But when it comes to your salvation, that's hinged upon you and Jesus. But at the same time, we're a part of the body. So we're all doing this here, but individuals trying to do it on our own. Does that make sense to you?

SPEAKER_11

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

I want to be a part of the body of Jesus Christ. How many churches out there say they're a part of the body? Well, there's earmarks to say that. There's earmarks to be able to say you're a part of the body. And I know one by one we have the earmarks in this church. One of them's love. Loving one another. Another one's the Holy Ghost baptism. These shines shall follow. These shines shall follow. There's many earmarks to say that this is the body. And when you see the body, you'll know it because you'll see the flags. You'll see the markers popping up. Don't let nobody tell you that this is the way to go. And they don't, they have a road atlas that's just wrong. You don't see road atlases anymore. I got a whole closet full of them. The kids got them out a couple weeks ago and was laughing at me. Not laughing at me, but laughing when we used to head down south and I'd get the old road atlas out and mark my route out. Now you just pop that little computer out and it tells you which way to go. But if that road atlas was wrong and I didn't pay attention to it, you're gonna get off on the beaten path. And so I want to stay on this street. I want to keep the the markers. I want the markers to keep popping up and showing me. One more thing, we went into the wilderness that time, and Brother Mathis was smart enough to tie little pieces of tulip paper down the trail as we went up the mountain. Sister Rochelle did that? Praise God for Sister Rochelle. Because when we went up into that mountain up in Canada, I looked at my dad and I said, Hey dad, Tim, how far are we gonna go? I started getting a little worried. He took me and my brother up to Canada. And one day they both all woke up, they all put before me. I slept in, I built fires, they was all out fishing. I stayed back and built fires and tinkered around and carved sticks. I love the fish, but not like these two. Not like Brother Williams back there. Jay. I love the fish, but I'd rather build a fire and hold a hot dog over and eat a hot dog. Tinker! I'm a tinker. I'd rather take a stick and carve it into a little Indian guy standing there or something. I don't know. But that day we headed up this mountain, Sister Roxanne. We kept walking and walking and walking. All of a sudden I got to looking around. I say, hey Tim, how far are we gonna go? Oh brother, that's alright. Dad knows his way. I was like, you sure? No, I didn't know my way. I looked around, I said, yeah, he knows the lakes. He don't know all these wilderness trees. I looked back and Sister Rochelle was tying little pieces of toilet paper every 50 feet. We sat around up on that top of that mountain for a couple hours and finded some we found some slate rock, a couple old uh still pegs that they used to bust the rock up with.

SPEAKER_03

We found a miner's hammer.

SPEAKER_00

A miner's hammer. Interesting. Way up in the wilderness of Quebec, walking around on a slate mountain looking around, staring down at the lake, sister Dana. When we started to come down off that mountain, we got a little twisted around for just about 10 minutes. And I felt anxiety and panic get a hold of me, Kev. I was like, whoa, wait a minute, man. If there are a bear in here tonight or we don't have a tent to pop, don't tell me we can't find our way back to the cabin.

SPEAKER_03

Well, there's bear droppings everywhere.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

We lived in bear country.

SPEAKER_00

We was in the middle of a wilderness and I had a full-blown real quick panic attack, Jay. I ain't ready to say goodbye. I want to call Mandy one more time. I want to see my I don't want to get stuck up here on this Quebec mountain and not find my way back to the cabin.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And finally, Dad, he just took over and he said, Ah, wait a minute, we're fine. Somebody noticed one of those little pieces of toilet paper, and we started, we found our way back down off the mountain. But it's a scary thing to lose your way.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's even a more scarier thing to lose your way in God.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Don't get off on the beaten path, folks. Stay on the trail. Stay on this trail of righteousness.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Keep doing what God's called you to do. We all got different callings in our life. Keep letting God mature that calling in your life.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Keep being here and keeping your seat. Don't give your seat up for nobody.

SPEAKER_11

You'll regret it.

SPEAKER_00

You'll regret it, Brother Tim says, and he's right. Stay on the street called straight. If we lose our way, call your brother and tell him to have help me get back on the street called straight.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Go in your basement and repent. Go down in your basement. Go in your bedroom. Be on your way to work and call on God and ask him to save your soul again. That's right, amen. Repent for your tri the Bible says you don't hear the prayers of a sinner. What does that mean? People that don't repent.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

People just live this life, wipe their mouth, and walk away and do anything they want to do, and try to pray to God and never repent. You gotta repent. That's right. And you gotta learn godly sorrow. Unfortunately, that don't happen overnight, but once I sinned enough and got sick of repenting, I started to really cry out. And I found remorse for what I was doing years ago, and God delivered me.

unknown

Amen, brother. Wonderful.

SPEAKER_00

He delivered me from some things. So I appreciate the Lord. I appreciate his people, and I appreciate all of you.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_09

Praise the Lord. Appreciate you, brother. Appreciate you. Thanks for getting up. Miracles. Yes. Miracles all right. Worry about my job, but work without getting fired. I'll forget about the parents. You've been there for me any kind of car, yeah. We're living downtown. Hey, man. I was hoping to pray and you'll come to that.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_09

That's a miracle right there, that's right. But he decided to show up and come with the wire church. Praise the Lord. Praise God, brother. Lord. Thank you for standing over there water.

SPEAKER_02

Hallelujah, brother.

SPEAKER_09

What you went through. Sorry. Amen. We have the proof of the paper down. Where we were going to be a good idea. Yeah. Last time I think I'll pray for your don't forget. Lord. I'm bad about that. Lord, I pray for stuff. Lord thing. The next day I forget all about it. Sure. Yep. It's all over. Whatever. The Lord's done, you know. Yes. I don't don't don't forget what the Lord's really done for you. That's right. Amen, brother. I guess He can do something for me today. And tomorrow I'm just like, whatever. Sure. That's taken care of now. I don't have to worry about it. No, I gotta remember what the Lord done. That's right. Where he brought us from. Where I came from. Where he delivered me from. Where he healed me from. Amen. There's a movie called Miracle at Waterworth. Crew movie. I watched it all in my hand show. At the end of the movie.

SPEAKER_05

So I heard a story today. I don't think it's biblical, but it may be. But a farmer and his wife were hiring a farmhand. And you know, they were interviewing guys, they got this one guy, he said, you know, what can you do for our farm? I said, Well, I can sleep soundly through a storm. They thought, that doesn't really help with anything, but they needed a guy, so they hired him. A few weeks later, sure enough, really big storm comes through the farm. The farmer and his wife wake up, they call the farmhand to go help get the farm situated. He doesn't answer, he's sleeping. They go outside, they notice, well, they go outside to start working, they notice the shutters are already put up. They notice the animals are already in their pens. The hay is already baled up in the fields, and the tractor's put in the garage. So then it gets them. Realizing he can sleep soundly through the storm because he already prepared for the storm. So then that got me thinking. You know. For me, you know, watching the things I shouldn't watch, listening to that stuff, I still struggle with that. But you know, that's easy stuff to fix. Just turn off the TV, turn off the radio, do, you know, do all that. My thing is faith. You know, the Lord has blessed me and Dana with a miracle, with Ada. And I still struggle with faith at times. You know. I want to be able to sleep soundly at night. Literally and figuratively.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_05

And spiritually. I want to be prepared enough, and I want my family to be prepared enough to where we don't get woken up. And it's really funny how you start noticing the Lord is always speaking with you. You know? The first service we ever came to, over a year now, a little bit close to a year and a half ago, I had a really terrible toothache. It was just miserable. And you guys know if you have a toothache, there's nothing you can do to run from the pain. Just sucks. And during the service, Brother Connell mentioned a toothache. Now you guys have been going here for much longer than I have. How often does he bring up a toothache?

SPEAKER_03

Just like the wall.

SPEAKER_05

You know? And he touched on on drugs. And before I found the ward, I just I ran I ran the weed every day. That was my crutch, that was my band-aid. Yeah, sure, sure. It ruled my life. If I went to the grocery store, I'd say, Dana, hang on, let me smoke a Jay. Or you know, before every dinner, hey, wait a sec. Let me smoke a Jay. It ruled.

SPEAKER_03

Be real, that's good. And being transparent.

SPEAKER_05

He brought that up too. And it was so, it struck me so strongly that I asked Jay after the service. I was like, Did you you told him about me? And he said, No, not at all. I just said, I have a buddy and uh his wife are coming, and I think they need to find the Lord, and and that's all he said. And you know, there's things that Brother Connell says in the service that doesn't necessarily apply to me, but it may apply to one of you guys.

SPEAKER_11

Sure.

SPEAKER_05

And on the same lines of the Lord speaking with you, you know, he showed me that video today, that story of the storm. And then today, two separate brothers at separate times told me the story of Jesus and his disciples on the ship during a storm. And what does that really talk about in his faith?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_05

And I can't quote scripture, but you know, Peter he walks on water, he attempts to. But then he starts looking around.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Not a lot of you guys know our personal struggles, but recently we've been in a valley. We found out last week that where we live is being sold, and we don't know what the future is. But personally, I'd rather control my future than rely on someone buying our duplex and letting us stay and this and that. So we've decided to buy a house. I've really struggled with knowing if that's the right situation and knowing if you know just the stress is overwhelming. And I'm going back to my old ways. I'm I'm trying to figure it out all on my own. You know, I'm I'm trying to all these calculations, not for money, but just for life, are going on in my head to figure things out. And Friday was like the nail in the coffin when we found out those new that news. And weirdly enough, at work, our office is split up in two sides. I was the only one on my side. I broke dra I broke down. I wasn't good. I was crying. And I went home in a very poor spirit. I got home, I sat on the couch, Dana came up in front of me with Ada holding her, and she was distraught. She said, what are we gonna do? And in that instant, the Lord told me, you're gonna be okay. And I needed to be the husband, the father that I need to be. And I need to tell my family that this is going to be okay. So that was Friday. Sunday, we have our service. And I'm I'm praying, I'm trying to just, you know, get an answer. And everyone always says the Lord will provide you an answer, He'll guide you, He'll tell you what to do. But I never really understood what that means. Is he gonna whisper in my ear and say, you know, you're gonna buy this house, put this, whatever, whatever, whatever? No. You know what he did? He gave my wife the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_05

You know, I asked for an answer, and he gave us the biggest answer we could get.

SPEAKER_02

Amen, brother.

SPEAKER_05

You know? And with the storms, we all go through storms. That's right. But in the history of this planet, name a storm that hasn't ended.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_05

They all end.

SPEAKER_11

That's right, brother.

SPEAKER_05

And whether it's a wildfire, a devastating flood, you know what happens in a few weeks after? Those saplings start growing back. That soil has never been as fertile as it is after those storms.

SPEAKER_03

That's good.

SPEAKER_05

It's filled with nutrients. So the storms are gonna be rough. And they may be terrible, and we may think that we don't have an answer, we're not gonna get out of it. But with the faith, I'm starting to learn. It's gonna grow back. So I just I felt compelled to share that and and just know that if the disciples could lack faith on that boat after everything they've seen Jesus do. That's right, that's right. It's okay that even though I have a beautiful daughter right there, that I can I can lack faith. Because I know it's all gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_07

Praise the Lord, brother.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God, praise God. Thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_07

Keep on reaching for perfection. It'll bring life to your soul. It's the only way to make heaven and move out of the thing's soul. Keep your head to the plastic. Keep your eyes on the goals. Keep on reaching for perfection. It'll bring life to your soul, leaving all your cares behind. Coming forth as your goal. It's the only way to make heaven and move out a living soul.

SPEAKER_10

Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_07

Thank you, Peter. Praise your wonderful name. Praise the Lord. Praise your name. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Praise God.

SPEAKER_12

I'd really like to be here today. Sorry if I had to talk about the word up here. But I just wanted to put it over. I remember that when I first started off. And I had to learn what we got to what you want. And we I think I think it was Monday I came back to work and I and Rachel had to go outside with all the time. I wasn't on here today at the time. And um it was raining. But he had to go for a walk. So I took him out for the walk, so rain. And he doesn't have a phone. She had a report. And I ended up running in to an older lady down for the wall. And she needed help by the doorway back home. But what happened was she really holding my carpet. She said I've got around to me. She had crossed around to me and didn't realize that she was my home. And I don't know, that's sure what, but somehow she had stuck. But the Lord really tried to my heart to make my daughter. And so I did, and I ran before my that was pretty good. So that was one of my first experiences learning two minutes ago when you call it. And yeah, it was it really have to find that year's card. Yeah. And it was like a revelation when I realized the board maybe I was boring that training out. Yes. But but everything was fine, but after you're so live received from church papers, I think. You think we can make your crutch now? But um, I'm just really happy to be here. I wish I could make it more often. And they want you to make it more often.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And we appreciate you. We appreciate you being here. Amen.

SPEAKER_12

You have to keep your face. I mean, I also have a little bit of your hand. And I he told me not to say he told me not to work out. Don't worry, they weren't going to do this. But I didn't say and I was just like in the back of my mind that was like my son to see that mom. You can look at something like that.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_12

I had to be there today.

SPEAKER_03

Good.

SPEAKER_12

And it means in the store. I mean my house. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

And here I have a bottom.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, 2010, 29 year old friends. But anyway, so just have faith.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Sure does.

unknown

No, it'll be all right.

SPEAKER_07

Praise.

SPEAKER_12

That's awesome. I've got it for you. So yeah, I know I'm not here to help them, but I still love you to make a lot of you.

SPEAKER_07

You're a part of our fans, right? Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise God. Praise God. Appreciate that. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_13

Isn't it beautiful to see the Lord growing in life? Yeah. Yes, it is. Each one of you gets here. So thinking we're right in the midst of spring and all those plants are coming up out of the ground, and that's what we're doing. Keep growing us. Keep growing us and we're going to be beautiful flowers or beautiful plants or strong trees, whatever you want to be. I'm thankful for that. And I'm thankful for the truth also. I'm thankful for a man called God the Lord showed me years ago up on that border in Canada. Boy, so uh I'm just thankful to be here. I'm thankful to be part of this. I'm thankful to see each one of you. And Teresa, I'm so thankful you're here. I've got to keep on promise.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Wait a minute.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, Jesus. Thank you.

SPEAKER_13

Appreciate it. We are all miracles.

SPEAKER_07

Praise the Lord.

unknown

The Holy Ghost is a miracle.

SPEAKER_13

Just like Alice is a miracle, and she hasn't lucky it.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_13

Amen.

SPEAKER_07

Amen. Praise God.

SPEAKER_13

He's got a moment that's special for you and Dinah stay hope for you. Hallelujah. That's the growth that I feel. That I can see with my spiritual eyes. I just see the Lord cultivating this land.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_13

I remember when we first started having church. I had a dream, Brother Matt, we had big heavy equipment in our front yard. Like a cat, or I don't know all the different big heavy equipment, but it was like a backup or something. We would dig it out that hillside. And the Lord showed me that was the handle that's the old cat. Dig it out all that junk out of my life. That happened over the years. I've had heavy equipment in my life. I'm thankful for that because the Lord still shows me. He's still breaking my spirit over things that need to be broken. And I appreciate it. I appreciate it so much. I want to make it like a pleasure. I just want to make it. I really do. And I love the Lord out of my heart.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_13

And I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful for each testimony in here. It is precious to me. Talking with you, or when you stand to your feet, it just blesses my soul. I'm thankful to be a part of this.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Hallelujah. Praise God. We're going to make it. That's all I know. We're going to make it.

SPEAKER_11

We're going to make it. And the Spirit of the Lord will make it through. Jesus Christ is the way.

SPEAKER_07

We're going to make it. We're going to make it all the way. We're going to mistake it. Show yourself the mistakes. We're going to make it all the way.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Just a little thought here. And that is, is it when people or somebody gets up and speaks, and I'd like to acknowledge and help me up for just a minute. I want to just take five or ten minutes. You know, this is sick to get this old. But you know what? I'm glad that I'm getting old with the Lord. Getting old and without the Lord, I can't imagine that. Can you? Getting old without the Lord? But I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the service that was built here today. If you've got spiritual eyes, God built a service for us here today. He uh put it on the minds of those that he wanted to say something. And then uh we were willing to worship and be appreciative for what God's doing for others. Um that's a part of just like my natural body. If uh I remember brother, brother Ken Bobish. One time he came to me and he was on a farm or something. He was working. By the way, he's a wonderful woodworker if you can get him to work with it. But he smashed his thumb. You remember that? And he had come to me and he said, Brother Connell, he said, is this a what did you say? Is this a fiery trial? Or a fiery temptation. Or a fiery temptation. That thumb looked mean. I mean, it was bad. And I said, No, brother Ken, it's neither one, you just smashed your thumb. But but it was a trial, wasn't it? Because you hurt yourself or something, and you know the old man, he can come to the surface real quick. Real quick, you know. Uh stub your toe or do this or that, and if you're not careful, that tongue will utter something that you'll wish the god I wouldn't uttered.

unknown

There you go. Sure.

SPEAKER_06

Then you're back to repenting again, you know. Uh your pastor, I've got such a temper at times that God's had to tame that I've actually, you know, got upset with a big burn or something from us and threw my hammer across the shop, and then have to go get it, and then have to feel bad for losing my spirit. But, you know, we're gonna lose our spirit hundreds of times before we make it.

unknown

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

It's just that you don't give up. A quitter never wins, and a winner never quits. And there's no more truthful statement than that. We're all going to be in valleys. But just remember the tree grows stronger and it's and it grows higher in the valley. So we're all gonna go through valleys, but wasn't it good to see the spiritual mind of our brother Alex in just a year's time? Amen. I'll just leave you with uh this thought. Uh thank uh brother Matt and Brother Matt and Sister Rochelle, that uh that equipment that you had that dream of, I keep telling Brother uh Matt, yeah, I recognize that God's gonna use Brother Matt. There's other men in this church that God's gonna use. And uh we have to go through a process, though, for God to get us ready to be used, because if he used us, I don't know about any of you other brethren, but if if my shadow starts healing the sick or raising the dead, or I'm laying hands on somebody that's been crippled all their life, and they get up out of the wheelchair, brother, I better be way up the road, or you won't be able to get me my head through that door back there. You'll get so exalted that God has ways of humbling us and keeping us humble. But when you look at where we've all come from, we ought to be humble to begin with. How in God's name did he look at any of us and decide to call your name out of the billions of people that's on this planet? And he called your name. Gave you an opportunity to get to know him in a better way. To get to know him in a better way. Don't worry. Worrying's really of the devil. When we get to worrying, and we're all guilty, I mean, maybe not all, but I'm guilty of it. You get to thinking on things and pondering things, and then you get to worrying. And when you get to worrying, you're really telling God, I'm lacking faith in you.

unknown

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, really, it's true. Because the God of this universe, and the God that keeps this planet spinning right here today, and the God that causes the trees to grow and the oceans to stay in their basins, and then we come up against a little mountain and we don't think that he can handle it, he can handle all things. But sometimes God don't move mountains for us, he wants us to learn how to climb them.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_06

How to climb them. If he'd done it all for us, then we'd be no different than uh the angelic host. The angelic host has a will, but they have no nature to sin against God.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

There's no nature in an angel to sin against God. They're made out of the same substance that God's made out of. God spoke them into existence. I gave this, me and Tim was talking one day in the truck, and he said, That sealed it. I said, What's that, Tim? He said, just what you just said. I told him, I said, God spoke the angels into existence. In the book of Psalms, God spoke them into existence. If he spoke them into existence, and there could be a war in heaven, and a third of the heavenly hosts could gather their self to retaliate against God, then God's word can go bad.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

Do you believe God's word can go bad? God's word can't go bad. And if he spoke them into existence with his own divine nature, there's no way that they can sin against God.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

And if they can sin against God, we're striving to get somewhere to where we might have to leave one day because of another angelic rebellion.

SPEAKER_01

That's right, true.

SPEAKER_11

That's right, true.

SPEAKER_06

No, the only problem God's got, the only adversary God's ever had was who we repented that he ever made. Man.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_06

Man. That's right. But slowly, but surely we are regenerating ourselves.

SPEAKER_11

That's it.

SPEAKER_06

We're getting closer to God, and as we get closer to God, he's not so repentant that he ever made us.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_06

He's more satisfied with our walk with him and our life with him. But I'll leave you with this thought. I think it's in Romans, uh, brother Matt, uh, Romans 12 and 2, if I'm not mistaken. Well, we might as well read the first verse, too. I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice. Now, what's he asking us to do? Present our bodies a living sacrifice. This body right here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You can use this body to serve God, or you can lose this bot, use this body to serve the devil. And uh, some of the sins that it takes the body to do is fornication and adultery. Top of the list on the works of the flesh. And unfortunately, preachers in this world isn't telling their church that you can't commit fornication and be okay with God.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, they don't want to hear that. They don't want to hear that. But as a man of God and every child of God, you've got to speak up for the word of God, because if you don't speak up for the word of God, you're basically telling God, I'm ashamed to speak up for you. And the Bible says, if you're ashamed of me, I'll be ashamed of you. But if you confess me to other men, women, then I'll confess your name before my father. So the more we testify to people about how good God is, the more God's taken our name to the Father.

SPEAKER_11

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

And so we're growing. And I think it's marvelous to see Alex stand up here and with a spiritual mind do what he wants to have a desire to share something with the flock that will feed us in any way. That's wonderful. But you know, there's another scripture, but let me finish this and we're gonna I'm gonna get down. And be not conformed to this world. First of all, he says, I beseech you therefore, brethren, mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice wholly acceptable unto God, which is just your reasonable, not asking for more than what we should be asking, just your reasonable service to God. Just your reasonable service to God. That you don't lay your body down to fornication, you don't lay your body down to sin. We bring our bodies to God as a as a living sacrifice to God now. I I came in the parking lot, I didn't see no goats, no lambs, I didn't see nothing out there. Because we're done with those kind of sacrifices that won't pay God back anymore. He wants you and I to present our bodies as that sacrifice to him. That's right, amen. Holy and acceptable unto God.

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

And the moment that you trespass against certain laws with God, you might think you're alright, but you've been cut off divine. Snip, you're off divine. You can't be a fornicator in the house of God. You can't be sleeping around in the house of God and be and think you're alright with God. You're all you're in the house of God, but you're withering while you're sitting here.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

You're withering away. Somebody say, well, is there hope for me? Absolutely. There's no sin that God won't forget. Adultery, fornication, no sin that God will not forgive if godly sorrow enters into your conscience and you make the proper steps to God with godly sorrow and ask God to forgive you, then he's a God that will never back up. He'll save you from that sin. That's right. He'll save you from that sin. But uh, what I wanted to get to is be not conformed to this world. That's what God's asking for us. Not to be conformed to this world. What is this world? It's the pride of life, the lust of the eye, and the lust of the flesh. It's everything that satisfies self. Self is what our problems is that we have. Nothing but self is what's fighting us. And then it says, but be ye transformed by what? By the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. That's where our battle's at, is being not conformed to this world, but being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Right up here in our mind is where our battlegrounds are at. But I thank God for this service day. I thank God for the brethren that bring all this equipment every Sunday. We ought to recognize that. Don't you appreciate these men bringing all this stuff every Sunday? Amen. We appreciate Kevin and Teresa being in this service with us. Kevin said one time to me, Oh, I can't, maybe the church will fall in if I go. Well, it's standing here and you're still here. I look for Kevin to become a part of what God's doing. He's already a part. And you were right, brother, when you said that sometimes when a woman or a man goes through a sickness or an illness, the mate goes right along with them.

SPEAKER_11

Very good.

SPEAKER_06

Your wife or your husband gets down in the valley, you're right, you're going down in the valley with them. And every man in this church is a priest of his own home.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

God's dependent upon all the men in this church to lead their families, their wife's their children, all their families to be led in the right paths with God. You're on the right path, Alex. Dana getting the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Did you notice how all that praise and people around her and uh just excited about her getting the baptism of the Holy Ghost and kept praising him and telling her to do this and do that? And that baby was just as calm as a cucumber.

SPEAKER_11

Just like the Lord.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, there was that baby. And that baby wasn't crying, wasn't scared, it wasn't nothing. You know why? Because that baby felt the love and the warmth and the love and the care of a mother. And do you know that we're supposed to become the mother for God and his children?

SPEAKER_11

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

Right here is a mother. The sign that we're a mother is another child was born. Amen. And there's gonna be more children born. And you're going to get the Holy Ghost, Sister Tina, despise everything.

unknown

That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_06

Your whole teaching, your whole childhood, everything. One day God's just gonna reach a point, hit you in a point, and Sister Tina's gonna raise her hand.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_06

And she's gonna kneel down on her knees. Whatever it takes. And you're gonna come up speaking in tongues.

SPEAKER_07

You're gonna be a witness to your whole family.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. Hallelujah. That's right. I already claim it. Amen. Praise God.

SPEAKER_06

Praise God. Hallelujah. So I'll just leave you with this one thought. That is, a natural-minded man does not perceive the things of God. I don't want to be so natural-minded that I can't perceive spiritual things. I want to be able to receive what God's doing. God built this church service today. Brother testified, drilled, God knows what to do when we yield ourselves to it. And uh and I thank God for the church. Thank you for bringing my daughter. My family's got a turn. I see my two sons are different than family. But when it comes right down to it, somebody comes to the door and attacks him. All the brothers is gonna stand up for Taylor. All the brother would stand up for Jess. Jess would stand up for his brother. His brother would stand up for him. United we stand, divided we fall. So we're a brotherhood and sisterhood in this church. Continue to love one another and watch each and everyone grow. It's wonderful to see growth now. God bless you, and we appreciate you being here today. And we just pray that God be with you and all the needs that we have. Just pose by saying, God, every need that we have. Yes, to be merciful and look upon every need, God.

SPEAKER_07

In Jesus' name, amen.
