Well, let me say happy Mother's Day to all the mothers today. If it wasn't for a mother, none of us would be here. Eve was called the first mother of us all. And uh I think the apostle Paul said, the woman was not without the man, and the man is not without the woman. So God created woman out of the rib of Adam, but every man afterwards came from a woman. So we're thankful for all you mothers in this church today. And no wonder the Apostle Paul said that uh we're a part of the New Jerusalem, the mother of us all. Because the spirit of a mother is so much different than the spirit of a husband and a man. She's more gentle, she's got the ability to reach out and touch things with the children and do things that the man hardly ever takes any consideration about it. But we're thankful for all of you. I'm glad to hear that you had a good time yesterday, and we just want you to enjoy yourself here in the house of God today. Want you to be free. I think the house of God, we shouldn't be bound. Uh we should be free. And the best way to be free is to be walking uh as close to God as we possibly can with the circumstances around us. So I'm gonna ask uh Brother Matt to come in. He's got something on his heart, but take us to prayer. But we love you all. Want you to press in today and receive something from God. I guess uh women don't like their age to be noticed, or what do they say that us men shouldn't do? They claim that we should never tell their age. You get in the doghouse real quick, but um we're glad to have uh the um elderly mothers here in the church with us. And then I wanted to say this today that every Sunday, all that has to be set up in the church, uh loading the cards up and getting the equipment in here, I want to say that God's watching that. I don't want to give you flowers because I would rather God to repay you for the goodness that you've got in your heart to do the things that you do for the kingdom. That's right. And the kingdom is setting right here in this building today. Yes, it is. And uh the kingdom is God's people that's born again, uh got conversion in their heart, and then born again, and then uh wanting to do the right things with God. And that's what my goal is, is to do the right things with God. Before Brother Mac comes up, I'd just like to ask the church to give a special prayer for my mother that's going through a very difficult time. Uh her mind is uh is uh beginning to slip, and she won't set still, so she's had four or five different falls now, and uh the one last one bruised her forehead pretty bad. She looks real bad as far as picture, but but just pray that God will put a piece on her. Uh I think we get to an age sometimes that that uh this is just me speaking. Not the Bible, but me speaking. That I think we can get to an age sometimes to where uh our our value of our quality of life is just not what it should be, and then we're in such a bad uh shape physically that we're that we can't speak properly anymore. I think sometimes the mercy of God is to take us, but God also has something in the thorn sometimes that we can't take away. Uh suffering is a part of walking with God, and nobody really wants to hear that part. Uh, and nobody really hears that part because it's not popular and you won't get a big crowd teaching the truth of how God gets us there. But I'd just like to for the Lord to be merciful, and uh with my mother and everyone else that's struggling with their physical health and uh declining in age. I'm there myself, but um I have no bad report to give. Whatever God wants to let me go through, if he'll give me the grace and the mercy to go through it, I want to go through it because even Paul had a situation that it said that he prayed three times that God would take this thorn from his flesh, and God said to Paul, My grace is sufficient for thee, Paul. So sometimes the problems around us and the things that we're going through, we wonder why God's letting us to go through that. God could have taken that thorn from Paul, but God saw something in the thorn that Paul had to get a revelation to see himself. And that's the way it is with our walk with God many times. We don't know what God's doing in our life, but we just have to have faith that God's a good God. Nothing will he do to us that's bad. We bring bad things upon ourselves, but God's a good God, a just God, a righteous God, and a holy God. Therefore, whatever comes our way, we just have to trust God that he knows about it. Come on, brother Matt.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm thankful to be in the house of God today, and I appreciate uh Brother Connell starting us out there, and I appreciate the Lord just leading us and guiding us.

SPEAKER_02

And uh, you know, every time when when you kind of get asked to come up and take us to prayer and stuff, sometimes it puts you on the spot, you know, and uh it's good.

SPEAKER_01

It's good because it gets you to prep your mind and keep your mind prepped. The Lord said, be the Bible says be instant in season and out of season.

SPEAKER_02

So there's times when you might not have your mind geared up and somebody asks you to do something, and now you gotta try to get your mind ready.

SPEAKER_01

But how much better is it to have your mind geared up coming into the service, ready to go, to where if you are asked to get up, or if the Lord does put it on your heart to get up and testify, you're already in the gear, you're already in the mode to get up and get going. And so uh I'm just I'm thankful. I want to I want to try more and more to get my mind on not only on church days, but every day, to get my mind geared up for the Lord, because how do I not know that I might run into somebody out at the grocery store or run into somebody on the job site, somebody that might be asking for prayer, might be struggling with something, somebody you might feel something coming from somebody. There's been, man, time after time, just walking through Home Depot or Lowe's, and you run into somebody that's that's just going through something, and they can feel the Lord coming from your heart enough to where they feel comfortable, and in 10-15 minutes of talking with this individual that you haven't met one time, they're pouring out their whole life and their whole heart to you. And there's a reason. If that happens to you, there's a reason for that. Maybe the Lord, if nothing else, if you don't even drop a seed to that individual, maybe the Lord is wanting you to pray for that individual because one day, one day the Lord might touch their heart and their spirit and draw them in, and who knows, they could come into this house and they're like, you know what? I remember talking with you, and you were kind and you were there. Keep my mind prepped up because what if the Lord tells you to drop a seed, and now there's somebody new being added in to the house of God, a new soul being saved? And so before I go too far with anything, I just want to thank the Lord today, and I want to say thank you to all the mothers here today, and how we appreciate the mothers. Without a mother, none of us would be here. And I'm grateful for it. A mother's love, a mother's covering, a mother's guidance. It's so precious to have. It's good when you have a good mother, isn't it? I'm thankful. You know, every time I get up here, I've said this before, I get nervous. There's a nervousness in my heart because to be honest, I'm not good at talking in front of people. I never have been. I almost failed out of high school because I wouldn't give speeches. I don't, I've never really liked it a whole lot to be truthful. It's just something I was never super good at. You get just nervous eddy. But how much more important is this because you're leading souls into something far greater than talking about Thomas Edison or something silly, some goofy little speech. You're talking about lives, there's hearts, there's souls at stake, and people are listening and looking to the words that are coming out of your mouth, whether it's a testimony or up front in front of the church. And there it just puts a nervousness down in your heart because I want to be led by the Lord in all that I do, in all that I speak, and all that I guide. I want it to be led from the Lord, and I want my words to not be my words, but the words of the Lord speaking through the Holy Ghost, guiding and leading, because it's it's part of the church, it's part of the mother helping and leading and guiding, and just like that picture that was up here prior in the beginning of the service. That mother Jesus said, I how often do I wish to have gathered you as a mother would, a mother hen would her brood, gathering them in up under her feathers and protecting her. You know, a good mother knows when protection's needed to just push out everything, come in close. A good mother just tells me all the time when she's out in the stores, there's certain things you can sense coming from people, and you know, and you can sense something because the mother's heart and the mother's love can see something's just not right, and you begin to draw your children in close. Come on here close by my side. I always tell my children, listen, if I'm not nervous, there's no reason for you to be nervous. Just listen to what I'm telling you to do, and everything will be fine. Even if something's weird, something going on. There's been a few times we've been out places or out in the front yard, and something gets to happen, and I tell them, come here. And they get to question me, and I tell them, don't say nothing, just come here and let's go in the house. Because it's better to go in away from the trouble than to get wrapped up in the midst of it, you know? And so a mother, a father, a parent, they know and they sense and they feel things. And as the children begin to trust, as my children begin to trust me, all they have to know is what am I feeling? Am I nervous? Am I calm? Do I need to listen to my father? Is he serious right now? Or is he laughing? Is he joking? What is going on? And as they begin to sense these things and begin to listen, then all of their fear should begin to rest in their hearts because all they have to do is listen to their mother and their father. That's right. When I walk with the Lord, all of my fears, as I begin to put my trust in the mother, the church, which is connected to the Lord, which allows me to put my trust in the Lord. As my trust begins to grow and my love begins to grow for the Lord, you know the Bible says that true love casts out all fear. And the the religious world says that that true love is a uh sorry, I had my, I forgot to shut my phone on, put it on silent there. The world says that that true love is Christ's love towards us, that it's just his true love allows you to not fear nothing because there's there's no sin. It's completely washed away and done away with, and no matter what you do, there's nothing to fear because He has He's covered you, and that there's no way, and even if you're living in the darkest of sins, even if you've walked away from Him, as long as you've confessed His name, His love covers it all, and there's nothing left. No. That perfect love is my love towards the Lord, and as my love towards the Lord grows more perfect, and my trust towards the Lord grows more perfect, all my fears begin to wash away because I know that all I have to do is I'm under a covering, I'm under an umbrella that if I just trust, if I just follow, if I just listen to what the Lord, what the church, what the Holy Spirit is leading and guiding in, there's nothing to fear.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Because he's not going to lead me into a problem. He's not going to do that. Troubles and trials might come due to natural life, but he's not going to lead me and get me murdered.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_01

These people, and I'm I'm thankful for the people that go out and try to preach the word to these different uh countries and these third world countries and all that stuff. But there's sometimes they they they they get themselves into a mess because they're not truly being led by the Lord, and they're out in the middle with a group of people that have never seen civilization before, not once. And as you walk in, now all of a sudden you're it you're like you're a threat to them, and they're taking your life and they think, oh, what's going on? I thought I was being. Well, did the Lord truly lead you to that place? Did he truly lead you? Because there's times when you just you have to really trust and allow the Lord to lead. Because this day and age that we're in, there's so many messages, so many churches, there's so much garbage going forth, and they never the Lord gave me the thought with the systems now. Whether it's on the religious side of things or on the liberal uh freedom uh universal church side of things, the Babylonians just live any way you want. No matter what it is, both sides are the churches of the unfinished. Not that we're finished, not that our hearts are finished. We're still growing, we're still striving, but their messages are unfinished. They cut out everything that they can't explain or everything that goes against what they do. They don't finish none of their scriptures. The religious don't let you come in and begin to grow up with the Lord because they think that you should change the moment you give your life to the Lord, and you should look this way, and you should stop everything right in this instant, and you get just absolutely so bound up that you just crumble to dust and you can't make it. Then the other side is they look at you and say, Just come in, there's nothing you need to do. Just say, I love you, Lord, and you're going on. That's it. And then you get in the, you're getting yourself into a mess in life where you think, Well, why am I surrounded by all this turmoil and all this trouble? Why is my life not changed? I thought I was supposed to get better. I thought my life and my burdens were supposed to be lifted. Why is that not happening? Because you're not taught to go on from the neither do I condemn you. Everybody runs to that scripture with the where everyone gathered around with the stones in their hands. And they they read the scripture, but they don't finish it. They read it where Jesus said, Where is where is like accusers, woman? I see none. And he says, Neither do I condemn you. They stop there. That's where the world stops. They don't go on to the go and sin no more. Go and sin no more. They they read the scriptures, there is no condemnation for those that walk in Christ Jesus or that are in Christ Jesus. They stop there. They don't finish the rest of the scripture that says that walk in the spirit and not after the flesh. They don't finish what's there because they can't work around it. They just dance around all these scriptures and they cut out this and cut out that, and we're being part of a group, not just us, but throughout the world, throughout everywhere. The Lord's raising up other churches like us that's on the back side, that's being that's being strengthened and lifted up, and it's under protection and under covering, and we're hid, and we're back out of the limelight for now, for right now. And the Lord's teaching us how to combine, how to go right down the middle to take the neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more, and bring it together as a good mother would. A good mother is gonna love on you when you fall down and you make a mistake. A good mother is going to pick you back up and say, Well, let me explain to you now why you fell down, why that mistake happened. Had you slowed down like I told you to, you wouldn't have fell. You wouldn't have tripped over that. We're learning as a church how to take and forgive and love and build. See, that side, they have the love of the Lord down. It is absolutely amazing. Because the Lord's love is never ending. His mercy goes from, just as they say, as far as the east is from the west, it's just unimaginable. But at the same time, they forget to go on. That while that mercy is there, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. All ye that labor to labor is to work. These things, the forgiveness, the mercy, the grace, it's there as I'm walking as a tool. It's meant so as I am striving, as I am pressing, as I am trying to grow, and I stumble and I fall, there is the mercy and the grace, and it'll be there for me every single time that godly sorrow is in my heart. Every single time I come to him and I feel convicted for what I've done wrong, that mercy is there to pick me back up. But then on the other side of it, when I do stand back up, there's the correction from the Lord that says, now that you're back on solid footing. Don't do that. Don't do that. Let me teach you. And how does he teach us? Through the ministry, through the church, through the mother to lead us, and you wonder, why is this being said? Why is that being said? Why, why are we being told to beware of this and to beware of that? Because it's all around us. And at any moment, at any moment, with the blink of an eye, it can come into your heart. And next thing you know, you're swept off your feet by some Babylonian church, or you're swept off your feet by some ungodly sin, and now both of them get you just wrapped up and chokeholder to the point to where you almost aren't gonna return, except through the Lord, except through the power of the Holy Ghost. Why has the Holy Ghost been being preached so much lately? Because we need the Holy Ghost. We need the power of the Spirit of God to flow in our hearts so that we do not be deceived by not only this religious system, but by the flesh that comes up in our life. This world, they deny the Holy Ghost. And what's crazy is they look out, and through reading the scriptures, some say it's of the devil. Well, that's funny because Jesus Christ standing here said that this is from me and my Father, and I'm going to send it back to you. If it's expedient, I go away, because if I don't, the Holy Ghost can't come back. So if it was of the devil, why would Jesus be sending it here? It is power. And then you have the other side that says, you know what, it's just an added gift. It's just a bonus if you get the Holy Ghost. I'm telling you, why would Christ say, Tarry in Jerusalem and do not leave until you're endured from power from on high? If it was just an added bonus, he wouldn't have wasted his time. He would have said, just go start preaching and do your thing. No, they had to tarry, they had to wait. And even if it was an added bonus, why would I not want every drop of power that I could get from the Lord and from God? Because he said that I will send back power. Power, this is a thought, and this is right here. This is the only thing I had on my stuff here. It was with the Holy Ghost. Is what is it power to do? Jesus said, I am the truth, the life, and the way. If anybody comes up any other way, he is a thief. So the Holy Ghost. What is it power for? To apply the truth that we're hearing to our heart to obtain the life more abundant that this world wants to twist up and preach that it's riches of this world instead of godliness, instead of growing and finding peace in the midst of the storm, as is that picture that we had up last week, I believe it was, of the storm and the seas and just everything raging all around. And here they are, because they didn't have the proper trust in the Lord, that fear was gripping their heart, and they woke them up. For first thing, they let them go to sleep. They let them fall asleep in the bottom of their boat. And then now here they are, fearful, and they got to wake them back up and say, Here we are, we're scared, we're afraid, and he peace. What manner of man is this that even the seas listen, even the storms listen? That is life. Peace in the midst of this dark world when anxiety, depression, fear, just being downtrodden, just absolutely being crushed, and just you cannot get ahead in this life. Everything in this life is miserable except you find the Lord, and then you find life in that more abundant. Because you know what? Our life is not hinged upon the things of this world. Because if they were, we would be miserable. Unless you're sitting here with 10 million in the bank, you're miserable. Because there's not much else you can do. Things are rough, they're hard, and I don't want no part of this natural world, just enough to get by in this life and make it through and get beyond, pay my bills, have my house, have my food, have my clothing, our car, just the the just the things in life. Outside of that, anything extra is a blessing from the Lord, or it could be a curse if it's in your flesh, one way or another. But I want to obtain the spiritual life that the Lord has. That's not hinged upon who's in the presidential office, it's not hinged upon who's the governor of Ohio, it's not hinged upon what kind of liberal filth that they're putting across the airways tomorrow. None of that matters because it's all in the hand of the Lord, because they can do nothing except the Lord allow them to do it.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Uttermost filth that this liberal system that's being brought up in the natural life out here and being thrown, all they have to do is change one generation of kids, their mindset, and to they have to push this out, push it out, push it out, and get one generation to accept the liberalism that they're preaching with all of this junk and all the stuff that they're pushing, and everything's done. From there, there's no more work left to be done because that generation's gonna raise up, and they're gonna raise up another generation that's more liberal than them, and another generation that's more liberal than them, and then they're just gonna overtake and take over, and there's nothing else to be done. But no, there is a church, there is a people that God is calling and raising up that when that liberalism begins to reach out and take over into the church system on a large scale. When this when this religion see, right now, there is a uh the the civil powers, a lot of people don't know this. When Trump came back in on his second term here, there's always been in the White House a group that's been dedicated to kind of overseeing and looking over the religions and things like that. Trump signed in within the first month or two, protecting, he created a another position and another office within there to oversee and make sure that the religious systems are not being treated unfairly, to make sure that there's not people coming out and shutting them down and that they're free to preach the word of God. There's things through this turning point USA, through Donald Trump. There's there's chess pieces being set up right now that out of their goodness, of their heart, they're raising up something that for now, just as when the children of Israel got brought into Egypt, they were under a covering and under a protection as their nation was beginning to grow within Egypt. Right now, there's things being set up that's putting protection upon us as a religious group. That's what we'd be labeled as a religious group, even though we're just tied to the Lord. Well, I wouldn't label us as religious. We're just people trying to walk for the Lord, trying to grow, trying to make it, trying to apply the things of God in our life. There's protections and orders being set in place right now within the government that they're taking in and they're starting to draw these things in to where now their hands reaching out and touching the religions. Their hands starting to reach out and gather and touch and reach and gather and touch, and they're taking a power that through right now is goodness in their heart. But sooner or later, sooner or later, there is going to be somebody that takes up and stands up and rises up into office that's gonna be full of this liberalism, this filth, this garbage, and they're gonna separate all this stuff and they're gonna give it back over to the church. They're gonna separate the church and the state again, and they're gonna hand it over to the universal church, which is gonna be the one that they all run to. The Catholic Church, Mystery Babylon the Great, and they're gonna hand all of this power and all this authority over to this church. And now here we are, now the sword's drawn. Now the Lord says, now come out of her, my people. You're no longer part of that protection. Come out, come under my wings, and I'm gonna raise you up, and you're gonna preach a message. You're gonna reach out to a people, you're gonna heal the sick, and their power is gonna begin to diminish and be shut down. And the Holy Ghost and the Spirit isn't gonna flow no more in the midst of that mess out there, and he's gonna reserve it for his people, his group. And you're gonna see you're and the ones that have had the Holy Ghost are gonna have a choice to make. I'm either gonna stay here because my grandma and my grandpa and my mom and my dad, and this is all we've ever done is this way. But here's the Holy Ghost that's dried up, forget that. We're gonna start dancing around this scripture and just say, you know what? Maybe it's not really needed anymore. And here's a church that's gonna rise up on the backside of the desert, and they're gonna take a stone in the sling, and then they're gonna reach out and they're gonna begin to slay this giant that's gonna rise up, and we're gonna have the power of God flowing, and we're gonna see the Spirit of God moving, we're gonna see lives being changed, withered bodies being healed. There's a there's a presence that's coming if you believe it. I'm telling you with all my heart, there is a movement coming that's gonna be greater than the former reign. The Bible says the latter will be greater than the former. Think of all the miracles we're reading in the Bible right now. Think of those. Are they real to you? Are they real to you or are they just stories? Because if they're real to you, all of those things that transpired and happened then is gonna happen greater if you just hold on. Hold your seat, keep going on this pathway, keep a part of this mother because there's a love coming from this mother that even when it don't feel like it, even when it feels like you're just being beat and beat over your head, it's love out of the mother towards your soul to see you not get twisted up and eat something that's poison, not get wrapped up in something that's filth and ungodly and gonna take you out of the church. Keep holding on to the mother. Keep holding on to the Lord, the church. Keep pressing. Don't give up. Don't give up. We have a mediator. We have a mediator. Yes, we do. We have one that knows all that you go through, and he takes it back to the Father to bring forgiveness to you and I in our hearts. And that's another thing they want to do away with nowadays. None of them understand and follow the Godhead. And so now they've they've danced around it so long that everybody you go to now, instead of you, you know, you before you had your your oneness, then you had, but back in the day, the Trinity used to be just three. Yeah, now they're combining it, Trinity is all three and one. They're just they're all just mixing everything up. But then Jesus standing here when he was talking in um John, I believe it was John uh John 8. He's talking, and so here's the Lord. This is the scripture I love because it just puts the nail in the coffin to me and bends it bends the head over right here. Is Jesus. Now, here you are trying to gather. If you're if you're being accused of something false, you're gonna gather as many witnesses as you can that stand true, right? So if you could gather more, you're gonna you're gonna want to, correct? But now, Jesus, if he said what he said here, he's either a liar by saying this, or, and then on the other side, he's why would he not bring in more witnesses? He says that if I judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am the Father that sent me. I am not alone. Here's Jesus. Yeah, I am not alone. I'm not alone. I'm not one, I'm not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. And then right here, this is the part he said, It is also written in your way that the testimony of two men is true. So here's the Lord trying to witness to these filthy Jews that are just they're just they can't, the Sadducees and Pharisees and their minds are so wrapped up on what they thought the Lord was supposed to look like. And here he is. If he wanted more witnesses, he would have brought in the Holy Ghost as a third witness if it was a person. I'm bringing in as many as I can here. But he said, two, two men. It's true. I am one that bears witness of myself, and the father that sent me bears witness of me. There it is. That's the Godhead. And I need the Godhead properly. Why is it important? Because if I'm running to God only, he does not understand my sin.

SPEAKER_00

There you go.

SPEAKER_01

Now, for people that are being taught wrong, the mercy of the Lord is he comes into play when they're praying to God because they've only been taught oneness. But when you're praying to the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost is just the Spirit of God, it has no power. The proper order and the proper authority is me coming and praying to the one that was sent, the one that was that was just beaten, the one that endured all the stripes, all the ridicule, all the trouble that he went through. That is the one that I'm to bring my sin to. That is the one that's able to be my mediator, that's able to bring forgiveness down, that's able to go to God the Father and say, listen, this is what they're struggling with. Can we send them something else? Can we help them here? We've sent them the Holy Ghost. I need the Holy Ghost baptism in my life. I need the Godhead down in my life. I need the devil subject right in my life. Why is that? Because it's no longer a crutch that I lean upon of my sin, but it is me knowing and understanding that my flesh is the one that's causing my problems. And if I apply the Holy Ghost with forgiveness, I can overcome my flesh. I need these things down in my heart right. And why is it being just one service after another? Planted, planted, planted, planted, planted, plant it. Because the internet is more prevalent, prevalent, how do you say that? Prevalent, right? Yes, now than it's ever been before. In every moment, if you're following anything religious, anything of any kind of Christian belief, all of their just their junk and their their doctrines that are completely twisted up are coming across and being fed to your ears. And you know, without you even know it, the seeds are subliminally being planted into your brain.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

I was watching a I was listening to a thing, and this guy was talking, uh he was saying some good things based on the flesh and in your heart, and he was talking and he said, Do you realize that as you're beginning to slowly feed things into your mind and in your heart, your brain, you don't even realize what it's taking in until after the fact. Your brain starts to show you now your glimpse, the slightest glimpse of this comes up, and your brain starts to recognize it and pull it out, whereas before it was never there. You ever notice when you go to when you start to look for a car and you're looking up a key of soul, right? You never noticed key of souls before a day in your life, but you start looking them up and you're training your brain to look at a key of soul. Now all of a sudden you see every single key of soul on the street, and you're like, Man, I never realized there's that many people driving these things. It's crazy. Everywhere I turn, it's there. Because my brain now has been trained to spot a key of soul. So as these things are being slowly pushed into your ears, if you're not careful, if you don't apply the oil of the Spirit of God to your ears properly, and if you're not strong enough to take the good and leave the bad, it's very, very dangerous because even though you don't realize it, these things are being slowly planted, slowly planted, slowly planted, and the next thing you know in your heart, you're thinking, maybe I don't really need the Holy Ghost. That's what it does. You begin to question, there's already question in your heart. I pressed for the Holy Ghost seven years. Seven years I pressed trying to get the Holy Ghost. Do you know that there were many times in my heart that I begin to question? Do you if this is so needed? Why I'm pressing, why am I not getting it? If this is so needed, you begin to get doubt, and then now you take that doubt and mix it with a message that your brain is hearing, your ears are hearing from some ungodly preacher. That's how you get deceived and swept off your feet. The Holy Ghost is important, and you will receive it. You will receive it if you had not received it yet. Keep pressing. Don't listen to this junk, and that's why we receive the same. We're being planted right now. Brother Connell has shifted a lot from the sin side of things. Not that he's not preaching against sin, but he's been preaching very heavily against the Babylonian systems of this world. And why is that? Because it's so dangerous to our ears. It's dangerous if you're not careful. Even the very elect have to be careful. The Bible says the very elect will be deceived. Why is that? Because until the Lord shuts things down on that side, the things that they're doing are gonna be very close and similar to what the things the true church is doing. As the churches, the true church is growing, here they're growing. With the Moses, when he was gonna go in and bring the children of Israel out, wasn't it, Moses? They threw the staff down and their magician? Yes. Yeah, doing things very, very similar, but there's one thing that they can't do the same. And that's gonna be known as the Lord begins to raise the church up. There's one thing they can't do the same, and that's take you on to full maturity. That's right. They're not preaching it. This side won't allow you to grow, this side don't teach you to grow. The Lord, too hot, too cold, just right. He's teaching us how to come right down the middle and be the one. Do you think as the as the as he was looking out for his son, the prodigal son, as he was looking out and waiting for his son, he didn't go out in there and was digging and searching through all the junk and the filth and the hog pins. But you know what? He went up waiting. Waiting, waiting, and waiting for his son to come home. All the Lord's waiting for, he's got a church, and he's waiting for the sons and the daughters to just come home. And when they come home, there's gonna be a mother, a church that's able to run out and gather them up and meet them at the doorway and say, you know what? We've been waiting a long time for you to come.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That's it, brother.

SPEAKER_01

No longer do you have to stay in this filth. We're gonna teach you how to come up and get cleaned up. Come on. You know you have to teach your children how to bathe themselves properly when they're when they're young? Yes. They'll just get in and let the water hit them.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

Just get in, let it hit them, jump back out. See you later. Why do I smell BO coming from you? I thought you got a shower yesterday. What? What? Well, they're not applying the soap. They're not washing properly. What is the soap? The Holy Ghost coming in. If I just jump into the water, but don't apply the soap, I'm both. There's nothing to be done. I'm not getting clean. I have to apply the soap. Not only the Holy Ghost soap, but sometimes you got to get some other soaps out. The word of God has to be applied to your life. The Spirit of God has to be applied to your life. The mercy of the Lord has to be applied to your life. You cannot jump past. You couldn't. The tabernacle was set up in a way that you could not bypass one to get to the other. You couldn't start here and come here. You couldn't jump from here to here. You had to come through the proper steps. You need all of it.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

About a month ago, Brother Connell was talking, and he said something about the ingredients. About having the ingredient, the uh what was it? Not only the ingredients, but the uh the process. Was it the process? I think it was the process. Yes. You know, about four years ago, three years ago, I had a dream that there was a handful of us. I don't know who all was on there. I was I just know I was on there. And there was this roller coaster going through, and it was down, there was this big lake and this water, and this roller coaster was going on down and around these obstacles, and it was all dark around us, and it was just one thing going over another, coming around, and then we we came around this corner and we approached, and there was this big dark wall, and it began to open up. And as this wall, this doorway began to open up, this room was the brightest white that you've ever seen. Just pure white because it was in the midst of all this darkness, and this man stood up on the boat. This it was a small boat, like a little John boat, brother Mike. Little small boat, and this man stood up and he said, This world has uh let me know what let me read it because I want to get it exactly right.

SPEAKER_02

It was uh because it went along with what Brother Connell um said there. If I can find this, if not, I'm moving on from it. Um dreams right here. I have a dream folder. I do like to keep track of dreams. Um, let's see. You know what? I might uh that one might not be. Let me see.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, right here. All all ingredients. Right. I had a dream there was a deadly sickness in the world. I was with some people that knew where the cure was. We had to go through an obstacle to get it. We were in a boat. It was a boat on rails. It could it was guided on these rails like a roller coaster, and it was going along, and as we came up, there was a hidden door that opened up, and this is what was said. These, inside this door that opened up, these are all the ingredients for the cure, but they're missing the last ingredient. And this man that stood up held it in his hand. These churches, they have all kinds of the ingredients. This church might have this ingredient, this church might have this ingredient, this church might have this ingredient, but there's going to be a true church that rises up and says, All these ingredients are great and necessary, but this is the last ingredient for the cure. And when Brother Connell was talking on that a few months, about a month ago, about all the all the ingredients, but not the process, that is the last ingredient, is the process on how to eradicate sin and reach full maturity in our lives. Are we all gonna reach full maturity before we pass away? Probably not. But if we're striving, if we're pressing towards that mark, I have to have that goal set here, or else I'm never going to press towards it. You know, on job sites when you're out on the job, big construction sites, they set deadlines knowing that they're not gonna meet the deadline, but they set it short anyhow to keep them in pressing towards it because they know if they set the deadline when the deadline actually needs to be set, that it's not gonna happen. So they set it here. There is the ideal that Brother Connells preached on. This is the goal, full maturity, and it's absolutely obtainable. They say that no man can be perfect, no man can get all the sin out of his life. They're right. No man can do it. That's it, no man can do these things. It is impossible with man, but with God. All things are possible with the Holy Spirit, all things are possible. This goal up here is absolutely obtainable, and we have to preach this goal because nobody else is. Nobody else is preaching not only the goal, but the process on how to get to this goal. And so, as it's being preached in this day and age, we have something to strive for. And as we're striving, if we fall short of the mark, we get to come up in a just resurrection. Why? Because I was striving for something great and I fell short. But they don't want to teach you to strive at all. They want to teach you just to accept all the junk that's in this world. All the junk. They're so overwhelmed with junk that they're bringing it into the churches. It's sad. It's sad when you go down the road in these churches, when the Bible clearly talks about it, talks against it, and you have these churches flying rainbow flags and the LGBTQ plus whatever another, all over their flag flying up on the churches and preaching all the stuff. There's one on Portage Lakes, or not Portage, Portage, uh Portage Drive. Portage Drive. Up there, um, is that Portage Trail? Up there, Portage Trail. Up there on Portage Trail, there's a church that's their headquarters that their sign out front has rainbow flags all over it, and they're ungodly. No, it's a flag in their window. That's a rainbow flag, and they're ungodly, just sarcastic. Their thought pattern on that rainbow flag says God's still speaking. Then people are gonna be spit out. The Lord says, You stink. That's right. They are a stench in the nostril of the Word of God, they're a stench in the nostril of the Spirit of God, that they're no longer preaching against the sin, but now they're saying, come on in, come on in and join us and just be part of us. Why is that? Because nobody else is staying around and we need some money. So come on in here and be okay. Join us, be part of us, because we need to grow. Because that's what we're built upon is our numbers. That's what we're built upon, is our building size. What people look at and see, all the good that we reach out and do, all these things. And Jesus said in the last days, there's gonna be a people that say, Look at all this that we've done, look at the buildings we've built, look at the people that are part of us, look at the the LGBT community, they're part of us. We're trying to help them. No, you're not because. You're not preaching against the sin that they're part of. You're not teaching them how to come out of that. And so, as they're standing there, look at these great monstrosities we built for you, Lord. Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity, for I never knew you. Why are they workers of iniquity? Because they work against the true word of God, which teaches that you have to come out of sin. And so now there's iniquity put in their heart against any church that says that you can't have sin. You have to eradicate sin. You have to work against sin. You have to come out of the homosexuality. You can't change your gender from a boy to a girl and a girl to a boy, and they can't stand it. And so they preach iniquity against the churches that stand up and say that you can't do that. There's iniquity in their heart and they don't even know it. Because the moment you stand up, you get people texting you and telling you, well, there's no works to be done. This somebody texted my wife and they text something about the works, and I read it, and I could not believe the scripture they put out there and twisted up and twisted around and said that it meant that you didn't have to do any works. Do you remember what scripture it was? I can't remember, but it absolutely blew my mind because it was actually a scripture that talks about doing works and fixing up your life. But they're being twisted up because there's men, men in the saddle. There's no anointing in the word of God that they're preaching, and they're just getting up and doing something to try to do good, to try to do good. And they've chosen to stand up and do this, and because men's understanding is preaching the word of God, and men are raising up and doing and saying what needs to be done, and not the Holy Ghost, not the Spirit of God, not the Lord anointing and working through these men, they're raising up messes, and they twist these scriptures just completely out of this world, and now here's a poor soul that's lost and won't hear nothing other than the twisted up mess, and they just ignore when you tell them that's not actually what that means. And they don't even listen. They don't want to hear that because they've been told week after week after week after week, just keep living the way you're living, just keep going, just say I love you, Lord, and that's it. No, saints, there is a lot more to do than just say, I love you, Lord. We're being taught if we mortify the deeds in the body. That's a big mouthful. If we mortify the deeds in the body, and so uh I'll take us to prayer here. I didn't mean to say all of that, and some of that stuff uh some of that stuff is is could be rough on the spirit, and I don't really like to say those things sometimes, but uh it's still the Lord, and that's part of salvation, that's part of growth. Just like that uh that article of that car that Brother Mike was talking about to me a few weeks ago or a couple months ago, that car that was on that that trailer uh years ago, the Lord gave me that uh that article to put together there. And part of that car, just because it was brought out of the junkyard, don't mean that it's saved. You know, the message that they preach, that'd be like an alcoholic going to an AA meeting and them saying, just say you're part of us and you're healed, you're better. They have a sickness that they need help with, and they need guided on how to come out of that sickness. They need somebody that has the ability to work with that kind of person and deal with that kind of spirit that comes along with it, but guide them as they come out of there because they're not saved from alcoholism just because they go to one meeting or ten meetings, they have to realize that they have an issue. That's it, and they have to be taught on how to get rid of this issue. That'd be like Alex at work. Somebody calls in an order for you, and they say, I want this order. You're like, Got it. 150 shirts coming to you. And then you hang the phone up but never do nothing else. Well, they're not getting their order because there was no other work done between that phone call. That is the unfinished part that the world preaches. The just come in and place the order, but don't actually pay for the order or work for the order or pick up the order or do anything for the order, just say that I put the order in. That's all they're doing is putting the order in for salvation, but they're not actually obtaining it because nobody's picking up the bill and paying for the salvation. They teach you that there's nothing to pay for in it, that it's just free and it comes to you, and it is free. From the financial side of things, it is absolutely free and it flows over abundantly, but there is something to do to obtain it because part of salvation is the conviction hitting your heart, and for conviction to hit your heart properly, you have to understand that I can't be doing this. Otherwise, I'm just speaking empty words of forgiveness because that's what I'm told. Just ask the Lord to forgive me, and that's the end of it. Salvation is a process, and it's salvation isn't just the saving of coming in and accepting the Lord, it is this process in a whole. This is salvation. I am still reaching for salvation in my heart. It didn't end the day that I accepted the Lord in my life. It ends the day that I reach full maturity. Now I have been salvaged. Now I have obtained salvation, whether it's now or whether it's on the new earth or whatever transpires between them, that's when my salvation is fully obtained. Until then, I am reaching for salvation. I am striving for salvation in my heart. And so, with that being said, is there any requests? Any requests today? I know we have some out that's sick. I know um there's there's a woman that Tim and I did some work for, and uh she is a believer, whatever, however, whatever her walk with the Lord is, she uh talks of the Lord abundantly and and trying to work with women that are have been hurt and abusive marriages and things of that nature, and she has a very pleasant spirit, and for whatever her walk is, her she has some issues with her husband. They've been separated for a while, and he recently has passed away, and so they have been separated, but he's given her some issues, and so um, you know the Lord works in mysterious ways for his people, and you might not see it, and you might think that that's kind of harsh, but you know the Lord can move pieces out of your life if you're truly connected and you have a walk with the Lord, if there's something that's burden, burdensome to you, causing you not just I don't really care for them a whole lot, but somebody that is just an absolute tyrant, goes out of their way to just belittle you and be terrible and just beat you down and do things, whether it's a job, whether it's uh just somebody here, somebody there, whatever it is, something, it don't matter. If you're connected up with the Lord, he can move these pieces out of your life however he sees fit. Sometimes it works this way, sometimes it works that way, and that's the mercy and the love of the Lord for his people. And you might not even realize it at the time that it's going on until after it's said and done, and then you think, you know what? I look back and I see that that's that's the Lord. And so uh this there's just was some issues there, and so I asked the church to pray for this woman. Her name was Kay. Yes, and so um there's there's some things there with that, and so um, any other requests?

SPEAKER_03

Let's remember Brother Tim. Yes, he's under the weather, and my mother.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yep, and uh Kevin and Teresa down there. I pray that uh it was wonderful seeing Kevin here, and I pray that uh some seeds were planted in his heart, and maybe one day in the future things are in the Lord's hands, and I pray one day in the future maybe we'll see him and Teresa sitting here in the house of God with us.

SPEAKER_00

Justin. Justin. I talked to Justin for the first time on the phone. Okay, young man that loves God, he's really, really wanting to move up here because of the truth that he's hearing. That's wonderful. So let's remember him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, and that's a that's a big move there, too. So let's remember him. That's a lot. That's uh moving anywhere is a uh a struggle, but moving 500 miles from sunshine to the rain, that's uh that's rough. I know some people don't like to hear the stuff about the weather, but it is rough. The weather is rough here sometimes, you know. We me and Tim, we're out doing uh when you work outside, you don't realize how rough the weather is until you try to work outside. When your jobs are outside and you're trying to plan stuff, and it's like tells you the day before that it's sunshine for three days, and then you're like, all right, let's go do this tomorrow. And you get up that morning and you're trying to do a brick wall and it's raining all day, and you're like, what happened to the sunshine? It changed this morning. It wasn't so last night I went to bed and it wasn't supposed to rain for three days. Now I get up and it's gonna rain this evening. I get to the job, now it's raining all day, and they change it by the moment. And I'm like, what in the world? So you're out here trying to do something. Welcome to a wall. That's it, that's it. So it's it is rough, and my heart does go out to people that uh, because your heart really can't comprehend that unless you've done that and come from there to here. But others have gave up things on other sides of things too that are that are there, and so I just my heart goes out to people that are that are coming. Uh I pray that the Lord leads and guides and touches their mind. Because if the Lord's leading, then who cares? That's right. The weather won't, it is what it is. It stinks sometimes, but you know what? It's part of it, and I'm not here for the weather. I'm here for the Lord. If I was going somewhere for the weather, it wouldn't be here. I'd be not here, I'd be somewhere else. But I'm I'm here because of the Lord, and that's what keeps me planted here and grounded here, because this is the word of God that we're being taught, and we have the Spirit of God flowing forth, and we're being taught on how to press into that, and this stuff isn't everywhere. This isn't everywhere. If it was, if this was down there, do you think the Lord would ask Justin to move up here? If this was actually if this was able to be obtained there, do you think the Lord? So between 500 miles away and here, there must not be much else. That's right, or else the Lord might ask Justin to maybe reach out to something a little closer to home and you wouldn't have to leave. This is far and few. Little flock, little flock, little flock, the narrow way. That's right, the narrow way. So I pray for Justin and his family. Yes. Anyone else? Jay's mother. Yes. Is she how's she doing, brother? Yeah, she's been having some issues with her kidneys, correct? Um, she's starting dialysis, isn't she? Okay, yeah. So she's had some issues with her kidneys, and so I pray for Jay's mother. You know, with that, and I don't want to preach on each thing, but with with Jay, through this, sometimes when when natural family gets going through struggles, and you come to them having the light of the Lord in your life, they these are the times that some people that these this is what it takes to draw them in. Yes, draw them in, you know, not beat on them, not not harm them and hurt them, but draw them in, you know, and be easy and gentle with them and try to just love on them and get them to get them to form and come this way, you know. And it takes the spirit of the Lord, you know. Another story about the brick, and I'll I'll sit down and get out of the way here. But we're doing that brick wall Friday. We're doing it for we have we've never done brick before. And so he's like, somebody asked us to do this little brick uh facade thing on the front of a garage, and we're like, sure, we'll do it. And uh, so we're out there, and Tim's like, You ever done brick before? I'm like down in brother Tim Gaynor's basement. I did some brick around like a slop sink, you know. And so we're out there doing this this wall, and I didn't realize it, but I'm sitting here smoothing out the mortar joints, you know, as the day goes on. I'm just working on these mortar joints, we're building the wall, and then I'll smooth them out and go. Well, the first part of the first half of the wall, the the mortar was a little bit thicker, you know. I it needed to be a little thinner than what it was, but I was working with it and just sliding in there, so I was really getting in there, grinding on it, you know. And so then the second half of the day, we applied a little more water to the mix. There you go, thinned it up a little bit, you know, not too much, but just enough to get it just right, and the mortar joint started to smooth out better. But because of me grinding on this, right, on all my fingers here, grinding and grinding and grinding, your brain don't realize something until after it's too late, right? You don't realize you're grinding on somebody and causing harm to them until they say, Hey, hey, hey, you're kind of hurting me here a little bit. Chill out. My fingers all three woke up at one time and decided to tell me it was too late. Out of nowhere, they all three was like, Hey, I'm hurting. I ground my my fingertips down to where it's completely. Oh, I can't hardly touch anything, it's terrible. But I didn't realize it, right? That I'm sitting here grinding on it, and you don't realize the damage that's being done. Sometimes when somebody's new, you don't realize as you're just like just beating and grinding on them that they're until they're like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, I'm hurting here a little bit. Let me let me bring in a little water. And had my mix been thinner all day, and I had the right amount of water mixed in with the the sand and the rock there and the mortar, it might not have ground down and hurt so bad. So we got to let the Spirit of the Lord lead us and guide us when we're working with people, working with one another, loving on one another. Man, I don't want to beat on my brothers and sisters. When I'm I don't know about you, but when I'm down and I'm hurt and I'm in the valley and I'm going through something, the last thing I need, and I already know I'm messed up. I already know what I did was bad, I already know that what I'm going through is terrible. I already feel like just absolutely just just beat and defeated. I don't need somebody to come along and just smack me upside the head again or kick me in the ribs or come in in here and jab me in the eyeball or something like that. Grab me up by the ear and say, I don't need that. I need somebody to come up and say, Man, brother, what's going on?

SPEAKER_00

That's it, brother man. Come here. Lift him in. Come here.

SPEAKER_01

Can I help you? Lift the spirit, I can't do that without the spirit of God in my life. Because the flesh is terrible. The flesh gets mad and upset, and it just because this and that and circumstances, it's led around by the nose of circumstance and whatever I'm feeling and going through in my natural mind, that's what I let come out and come forth. But when I let the Spirit of God flow and let the Spirit of God work through me, now I can begin to work with somebody that's hurt and struggling and going through something and is knocked down. Somebody that's never known the Lord. I can approach them in the right spirit and say, maybe not even nothing about the Lord. You know the Lord can save somebody without you even mentioning the Lord's name. Just your spirit working with somebody fresh, somebody new, or coming around, coming in. Hey, I love you. I appreciate you being here. I'm thankful. Make yourself comfortable. If there's anything I could do for you, I'm here for you. I love you. If you have any questions, give me a call. Let me be there with you. Let me help you. Let me sit down at your table and eat. When nobody else will. Let me come pull up a chair and sit down here next to you at your dinner table and eat with you and talk with you for a minute just on life. And you know what? That love that they feel coming forth draws them in. Now they can begin to hear the word of God coming forth in their heart and in their life, and they can begin to apply it because you showed them love. So, I'm sorry for preaching again, but love with correction and guidance. That's it. Love with leading, love with process. That's right. Love with growth. So, if there's no other requests, we can stand up and let's uh let's go to prayer. Pray for the uh all the new mothers and the the babies. I know I know it's uh when sicknesses and stuff start coming around, I know it gets nerve-wracking. We uh we've we've been there, and I've every mother has. You know, you feel like you're going through something and nobody else has been there in those shoes because it's you feel like ah it's been so long since you've done that. Well, things might be a different, but some things are the same. Yeah, and the nervousness of sickness and stuff, I know that that that can weigh on a mother, and when the children are sick, they don't sleep the best. And so I pray for the children that the Lord would keep them healthy and and guide them and let them be raised up. So all righty, Lord, we come to you here today, Jesus, and we just thank you, Lord. I ask you to forgive us for our sins, forgive me for my sins, Lord. And I ask you to just be with us in the service, that your will be done, Lord. I pray for Justin and his family, Lord. Pray for Tim, Lord, our brother Tim as he's out and out feeling well. And sister Anna, Lord, Jesus, touch them, Lord, with that sickness, Jesus. I pray for Sister Anne that you lead her, Lord, touch her mind, touch her heart, Lord, help her with her situations, Lord. Pray for all these children here today, Jesus. Pray for the bobbishes, Lord, that you touch them and lead them, Lord. Jesus, we thank you for everything. I ask you, Lord, to build the remainder of this service, Lord, for you. Let your spirit flow today, Lord. Let your word of God flow today, Jesus. We love you, Lord. We appreciate you. We need you, Lord, more now, more now than ever before in all of humanity, Lord. We need you. We need your presence. We need your strength and we need your help, Lord. As darkness comes from all angles, Lord. And we're bombarded more now than ever before, Jesus. We need your help, Lord. Your strength, Jesus, your teachings, Lord. We need you, Jesus. We love you, Lord. We appreciate you. It's in your name we pray.

SPEAKER_00

Praise God. I won't keep you long. I really appreciated the good words that our brother Matt said. Um time, Brother Tucker asked me to come down and preach in his church before he had let my sister and my brother-in-law come home. They was in that church. Uh, my brother-in-law, Russ, at that time, was in the Air Force, and uh I think somehow I introduced him to Brother Tucker because they was in Little Rock, Arkansas.

SPEAKER_03

That's where he had him stationed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's where he was stationed in the Air Force. So uh they was wanting to move back home and be in the Akron Church, and Brother Tucker said um, he said, Brother Connell, I'd like for you to come down and preach so that I know where I'm sending my sheep, that I'm not sending them off to Babylon. Because I knew him for years in the meetings, but never got to really talk with him and get acquainted. After I went down and preached in that church, well, he came and spent some time with me and sent me tons of articles and sent me tapes all the time from him. Brother Tucker was unique, he had a unique way about him. But um, you know, if you wouldn't understand that, you would wonder, well, are the people captive? Are they, does the minister have the right to say that they couldn't move up to Akron? Well, a good shepherd wants to know where his sheep is going. And if uh if I would have gone down there and preached a bunch of Babylonian stuff, he wouldn't have told Brother Russ and my sister Deb that you can't move. He would have just said, in my better judgment, you're not gonna be following the truth if you move to Akron. That's right. Now think of that. And so he loved his people enough uh that he said, um, before I let them come up, Brother Connell, I feel a whole lot more secure if you come down here and preach. Well, you know, you get nervous. You're gonna plan out your sermons, and you're gonna do all this and do all that, and finally I went down and he asked me to get up, and and I forgot everything I studied. I forgot everything that I had written down in notes and just let God grab a hold of my heart. And I began to testify and talk to uh the congregation, and then I began to preach a little bit on doctrinal subjects, and finally when I sat down, Brother Tucker rose to his feet and he said, I heard no hash dod whatsoever. He said, I heard no false teachings. He said, I feel wonderful about sending Brother Russ and Deb up to Akron to help. Build the church in Akron. There's going to be a unified ministry in these last days that's going to see eye to eye.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, it doesn't take an Einstein to figure out something's wrong.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You know, when you go to church and you pass five churches on five corners, and the per parking lots fuller in one church than the other church, you've got to come to realize that what is going on here. If there's one gospel, one baptism, one faith, all these seven ones in the book of Ephesians, I think it's a fourth chapter, speaks about seven ones, and yet they won't even share each other's parking lots. And uh and there's strife between the churches over the names on the doors. The Baptists don't want nothing to do with the Pentecostal, the Pentecostal don't want nothing to do with the Methodists, Methodists don't want nothing to do with the uh the Jehovah's Witnesses, and so on and so forth. If you talk about something that's confused and conglomerated together, it's religion. And so in this book right here is uh something that's so valuable, is uh this Bible right here. First and foremost, for you to grow, you have to believe that this is the inspired Word of God.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

And even though we're in the year 2026, this book is still as good as it was when it was written by the apostles. The letters that they gather and put this Bible together. And within this Bible, these 66 books of the Bible, Old and New Testament, is our map. It's a map to get where we want to get. We all want to go to heaven, don't we? Do I know anything about heaven? Nope. I don't know nothing about heaven. I've never been there. But I've had enough heaven here to know that that place must be awful magnificent. It's gotta be great. That's true. When the apostle Paul said that he was caught up to the third heaven and heard and seen things it was not lawful for him to divulge, to give out to the people, God told him, Don't you dare say anything about what you saw. He saw something so great that he wrote in one of his other epistles that these light afflictions. Yes, my afflictions don't seem very light sometimes. When you're struggling to pay your bills, wondering how come your light bill's $300, and you're trying to put gas in your car, and you're being oppressed by a rich nation that could make everybody wealthy if they just get up off of their greed. God's watching the oppression that's being put upon this nation that we're living in. God's watching it all. He's also watching what our brother Matt was saying. The filth that they're being uh preached every Sunday, that everything's alright. Look, God loves all the gay people, but he does not love their sin. It's true. He does not love their sin. God loves you and I, but he doesn't love our attitudes. He doesn't love the things that's in us that's contrary to him. That's why we're going through so much. That's right. Uh I really appreciated Brother Matt. He opened so many doors, I don't know which one to go through. But I'm not going to go through any of them today. But I thought that was magnificent. You could tell that brother has been in the church how long now? Yeah, 20 years. 20 years. Close to it, yeah. And so when he stood up and began to uh talk, you can tell that he's been taught. Just the way that brother Connell was taught. When I found them older brethren, I didn't know which was up and which was down. I was so confused. You know, if you listen to the radio or your phone too much and you're not solidly rooted and grounded in the gospel, you'll get an upset stomach, spiritually speaking. You'll get sick to your stomach because there's so many things being taught out there today that's contrary to God that if you listen to all that, you might be okay during the daytime, but at nighttime you'll have scrambled brains because it's just such a mess. I thank God I'm so unworthy. There is not one worthy thing in me that God led me to a group of old men of God before they died and put me at their feet. And I was humble enough because God took a process. Processes can't be eliminated. If you jump past the process, you'll never get rid of the problem. Processes get rid of the problems. And so I'm thankful to God that he humbled me before I found those old men. Because at one time you couldn't tell me a thing. You couldn't tell me nothing. If I didn't think that this or that, I was so strong-willed that I would just fight you tooth and nail. But God had a process that he took me through, and I'm thankful that when I did meet those old men of God, that I was humble enough that whatever they told me, I considered it. I listened to it. And so those old men of God will always be preached as long as Brother Connell's alive. I agree. I'll always honor those men that taught me the things of God. I'll always I'll always appreciate Brother Tucker setting for one solid week every night, night in and night out, from about midnight till five and six o'clock in the morning, and drilling me to understand the doctrine of the devil.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

He did too. Amen. He told me, he said, I told him, I said, Well, Brother Tucker, you just had a heart attack a while back. And don't you think you ought to go to bed? And he looked at me, pushed his false teeth back up in his head, and he said, I don't have time to sleep right now. He said, Some of us men's gonna go off the scene, Brother Connell, and this torch has got to go on. And he just kept up every night, every night, every night, and finally God cracked it open to me. I saw the light. I began to see what he was talking about, and how that uh how that the world has just twisted and changed that around and gave us one great big escapegoat. The devil made me do it. I would have never been that mean, but the devil must have got on me. I would have never done that to that person. I would have never been so jealous that I hurt their feelings. I would have never been so mean that I was just everybody around me could feel how mean the devil got me. Now the devil didn't get you. Your flesh got you. Right within the seed of man is everything that you can read in this book about the works of the flesh. Every work of the flesh was born in you when you were born by a corruptible seed. It was all resonant in that seed. Look at the Adam's two, or look at Adam's two sons. One Abel, he had a spiritual mind, he had a son that didn't have no spiritual mind. Abel brought a blood sacrifice to God, and God accepted it. And Cain, he brought his own fruit of the ground. He was carnal. He was carnal. And that's what religion is today. It goes all the way back to Cain and Abel. That's right. The branch came or the split came from Abel and Cain. Abel was a godly man and a spiritual man and knew by what God done for his father and mother that he slew an innocent animal and put coats of skin on them. Abel was smart enough and spiritual enough to know that when it came time to give God an offering, he needed to bring a blood offering. We need to come to the same acknowledgement as Abel came to that we need to give God a blood offering. Somebody said, Well, what are we going to do? Cut our wrist? No, we're going to give him the blood is the life of every creature. God wants our life. That's right. He wants our life. And not to make it hard on us, to make it easy on us. To fix us up. You know, the closer you get to God, the more you get fixed up. The more closer you get to God, the more peace that you have. The more tranquility that you have. But that process isn't easy. That song that was being sung, Ashes for Beauty. The ashes for beauty. Well, without an understanding of that song, that song ain't gonna bless nobody, ashes for beauty. But when you realize that that's going back to the brazen altar and everything that was offered unto God that was burnt up, the ashes would go down into the bottom of that brazen altar. But the beauty of it was God smelt that sacrifice. God seen that sacrifice, and so for that sacrifice, he gives us beauty for ashes. Let God burn everything out of your life that he wants to burn out.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Let God fix everything in your life that he wants to fix. But um, I stood to tell you this: that this Bible is a sealed book. Not everybody can pick it up and understand it. And if that would be the case, then what would God raise up men and give them gifts of the ministry for? There'd be no need for the ministry. Somebody told me one time, said, Oh boy, you're a false prophet. I said, How's that? He said, It says right in the Bible that whatsoever I've taught you, I shall bring to your remembrance when the Holy Ghost comes to you. And I said to the man, I said, Well, I appreciate you giving me that scripture. But I said, one question I got for you, who was he talking to? Was he talking to everybody? No, he was talking to the twelve apostles. Those is the ones that he gave the word of God to. Those are the ones that he anointed to bring forth the church and establish the church. So I said under men that I know without a shadow of a doubt, that I told God when I had the world by the tail, and I'm not gonna go back into my old past because the apostle Paul says, keep the old man's conversation, leave it alone. He didn't say it quite like that, but he said, now that you're a new creature, forget that past old man. Want to brag about him? Want to tell you how this was and that was? Leave all that alone. You're not of that anymore. You're a new creature. Talk about godly things now. Talk about things that's good, talk about things that's solid. Don't go back and tell them how many this and how many that and this and that. No, that's that just brings you down, is all it does. It brings any spirituality that you have, it brings it back to an earthly, an earthly understanding once again. But um, I thank God for those men. They're gone now. And there's a few men that's still my age is preaching in that group of people. And they're holding fast to the things of God. And uh their congregations isn't very big. You know why the congregations isn't very big is because most people in the day and age that we live in now, they just want to go to church for 45 minutes and get their ears tickled, their conscience fixed up, and go back home and feel good that I went to church. But did you go to church and hear anything? This Bible is written in three ways. It's written literally. That means that whatever you read, if it's literal, anybody can understand it. Jesus wept. You can't put that. That's just literal. That's the smallest passage in the Bible that Jesus wept. That's a literal statement in this Bible. There's lots of literal statements in this Bible. Then this Bible is written parabolic. All those parables that's in this Bible. It's written parabolic. Somebody said, Well, I can understand all the parables. Well, you're better than I was. I couldn't understand hardly any of them until those old men of God broke the word of God down. Those old men of God paid a price that I've never had to pay. Fifty years. Their fathers' fifty years. There's over a hundred years, way over a hundred years of a thrashing floor that those men set and listened to every denomination under heaven. Every idea about every scripture in this Bible was thrashed. What I mean by thrashed is that they would let anybody get up and talk. Anybody could get up and talk subject to question. But many men, when they got to be questioned by those older men of God, we hear you, brother, but could we ask you a few questions? They'd get red faced, their neck would swell up, and they'd storm out of the building. You know, until you can talk to somebody and reason with them and deal with their spirit, they're a heathen. Is that not true? The Bible says he that can receive no instruction is brutish. So the first thing that God began to do with your pastor is humble me to those old men of God. Humble me around them. They was my age now, and I was just a young man in my twenties, and they begin to teach me and talk to me and spend time. I think it's a great privilege that out of all the ministers that I was with, that brother Linninger flew in on his little plane and spent a whole weekend with Brother Connell. I think it's a privilege that Brother Tucker came and spent almost two weeks with me. I think it's a privilege that Brother James Sodters got his shoes out of his closet and put them on my feet.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

It is a privilege that I had Don Patton stay with me for a whole weekend. It's a privilege that I got to sit down and eat with those men. It's a privilege that they embedded in my mind the gospel. Praise God for those old men of God. Standing on their shoulders is what we're doing. And they gave us a vision that the world don't have. I have a vision that I'm trying to impart to you that the religious world don't have. You know why? This Bible is written literal, parabolic, and symbolic.

SPEAKER_03

It's hidden, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

Parabolic. Kingdom of God is like ten virgins, five wise and five foolish. That's a parable that somebody has to break down and give it to you. The kingdom of God is like an unto a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, but when it's planted, it becomes the biggest herb of all. Even the fowls of the branches come and lodge in the middle of that. That has to take understanding to break these parables down. But yet Jesus stood one day, he might have preached eight hours. I don't know. And as all he'd done was one parable after another parable. To the point where his disciples come and said, Jesus, don't you know that you've offended all these Sadducees and Pharisees? All the group that showed out today, you've been offending them. He looked at him, he said, You've talked in parables all day.

SPEAKER_03

That's what they said.

SPEAKER_00

And they're offended because they don't understand any of the parables. God's wisdom was if they was hungry enough and they was really seeking God properly, they came to him at the campfires and got the parables. Yep. That's right. But most of the people was filled with fish and loaves, and they just went on home and forgot about the parables, but yet Jesus said, These things I speak unto you. They are truth and they are life. That's right. Wouldn't you want to know what the parables is then? If he spoke all these parables? So this Bible is wrote literal, parabolic, and symbolic. Somebody said, Well, what do you mean symbolic? A woman stood on the sun. Crown of twelve stars upon her forehead. No, she stood on the moon. She was wrapped in the sun and had 12 stars on her forehead. That's all symbolic language. I saw a beast come up out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns. That's all symbolic language. And without somebody, a man of God, breaking that down, you could be in the dark for these symbolic things the rest of your life until somebody cracks them open. It's just like the serpent in the garden. I'm going to get down from here, but the serpent in the garden is symbolic. There was no third person in the garden. There was nobody making Eve transgress against the law of God. Where is the scripture? And then being born again, Brother Matt was saying that the church world doesn't even believe in being born again anymore. Pentecost is backslidden on God. You know what Pentecost means? 50. You know what happened at Pentecost the 50th day after the resurrection of Christ? 50 days after Christ resurrected came Pentecost. And Pentecost means 50. On the day of Pentecost came a new birth. The church was born by a new birth. That's why he told Nicodemus in John 3, isn't it? He said, Nicodemus, you must be born again. Is that up there? Can we look at that real quick? There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night. One of the older brothers said, He didn't come by day because too many people would have seen him.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

And he was a leader in the synagogues. You know, not to get off the subject, but do you know that Jesus one time told all those leaders of the synagogues, the preachers? He said, You know who I am, but you won't follow me because you love the praises of men more than the praises of my father. And besides all that, you won't give up the comfort of your synagogue to come follow me. That's right. I told him that. He told them that. What was he talking about? He was telling them basically, I have the truth. And you're not willing to admit to that, you're not willing to follow the truth because you love the praises of men more than the praises of God.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

When I was a young minister out in Wadsworth, Sister Truman, which was where we started the church in her living room, Sister Truman got all excited. She called my dad, and then she called me. And there's a church out in Wadsworth. They're looking for a pastor. And so she made an appointment without asking me, but it was out of the goodness of her heart, she said, uh she said, Well, we want our young preacher to come out and preach. And so I remember going out there, and it was out there off of uh, it was right out there where we get off to go to see mom. Cleveland Maslow Road. A beautiful church, Luke. It was a big, beautiful brick church. Had a parsonage with it, and um they told me right from the get go if if you happen to get this job, if you happen to get this. We're gonna give you a new Buick every three years. We'll give you a salary. And there was about 75 or 100 people that showed up there. And uh I got up, and as all I'd done was begin to speak on on Noah's Ark. Them people come unglued. Well, we thought this was a storytell that you tell in Sunday school, and here you're making a sermon out of it. So they got all excited, and so the man came out and uh he went to my dad. I guess he thought that was the wisdom to get to me is to go to my father. He said to my dad, he said, We want your son. We want him. We know what we want him to preach in our church, we want him to become the pastor. My dad said, Well, that'll be up to my son and the Lord, because the Lord's in charge of my son's ministry. And so the man said, Well, is all we have to do, and we'll do it, we'll do it real quick, is get the board of directors together and I'll vote him in. Dad said, strike one. He said, What? What's that? What do you mean? He said, My son ain't gonna go for no board voting him in. Well, why not? He said, That's not the way God builds. That's man's way of building, voting preachers in and voting them back out. My lord, the church never gonna grow as long as you can get rid of the guy stepping on your toes. Get rid of him. And then uh they told me when I got up, he said, now you have no longer than about 40 minutes. Don't don't go past 40 minutes. I I knew right then this ain't my place. You're already putting Saul's armor on me. You're already giving me some backslidden king's armor. Uh but my dad said, I don't think he'll go for that. You know that man followed us all the way from uh from out there in um Wadsworth, all the way back into Arlington Street, right there at that little home beside the Burger King. He got out of the car and he would not shut up. We just gotta have him. We want him. Could we raise your salary? Could we do that or do that? And the Lord just said, be still, and I said, I really appreciate you offering me that, but I'm not for hire. God blessed me for that. God uh honored that, He recognized that. I've had a lot of ups and downs in my walk with God, just probably like some of Yuns have. But the one thing that's held me through all things is the gospel that's been planted in my heart. The gospel that's been planted in my heart. And so out of this Bible, literal, parabolic, and symbolic, there's a germ kernel in here. A germ kernel of process that nobody hardly knows. And that little germ kernel is just like when summer comes and you get you some good corn on the cob, you'll see in that corn, every kernel has a little bitty speck about the size of a pinhead that's in that kernel of corn. You know, if you take that little tiny speck out of that corn, you can plant all the corn you want, it'll just lay and rot in the ground. You've removed the life of the corn by eliminating that germ kernel. When you eliminate this gospel of an overcoming message and crucifying the flesh, you have taken the germ kernel out of the whole Bible. There I go.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

There it is, right there. From Genesis to Revelations, God has asked his people to be overcomers.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

The only difference is under the law, they had no ability to become overcomers. The law was just and good, the Bible says, but the flesh was weak. And God seeing all that, he sent another comforter on the day of Pentecost. And when he told them it was a commandment to receive it, not if you just decide to, it was a commandment to be born again. What for? Because that new birth brings the ability to fulfill the germ kernel.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly right.

SPEAKER_00

The overcoming of this bur of this word of God. But without somebody having the germ kernel, you just go on playing church, feeling real good about your attendance record, to find out one day I never knew you. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

That's it.

SPEAKER_00

How could people do all these things that the Bible says and then end up hearing the Lord say, Depart from me, for I never knew you? And Brother Matt hit it right on the head. They're called workers of iniquity because they're standing against the truth. That's right. Just so that their pockets are lined, and just so that they can brag about a thousand people in their congregation, and they can drive around in big fancy cars, have big fancy homes, they're hirelings. And if they begin to believe that they're touching the lives of the people and upsetting them, they'll shut up.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

And the reason why is they don't want to lose that position. They're just like the men that Jesus said 2,000 years ago, you know who I am, but you love the praises of people more than the praises of my father, and you love your synagogues. That's right. I love God more than anything. You've got to love God more than anything. He's got to be above your wife, your children, uh, your job, your money. God has to be in first place. He gave that to us right from the get-go when he gave us the Ten Commandments. He said, I'll have no other gods before me. I'm a jealous God. No other gods before me.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I still have gods before him. I still have things in my life that I struggle with. But the goodness of God is, is after the day of Pentecost, in came this precious new covenant, and the new covenant came with mercy and grace.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

The old covenant was an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, and if you committed adultery, you was put to death. If you stole, you could have your hand cut off. All the old covenant was wonderful, it was good, but nobody could live up to it. But when the new covenant came, no longer do you die physically, but you'll still die to the sin, or you will die.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. The penalty of sin is what? Death. So what are we trying to do? We're trying to find out what the germ kernel of these 66 books are and apply it in our life to get rid of death. There you go. We're all born into death. And the reason why we must be born again is because in that new birth comes all the characteristics of the fruits of the Spirit: joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, kindness. All the works of the fruits of the Spirit are locked up when you get that Holy Ghost. But see, you've got to move furniture out of the house to move furniture in. Once in a while I'll watch that program on TV. It's called Hoarders. You ever seen it? Where they just pack their houses full of everything. They won't even throw away bubblegum wrappers. They'll wrap them up and save them. And I've seen it to where they couldn't even get a foot in the door until they started pulling some of the stuff that they packed in there. Well, unfortunately, I was a hoarder. I hoarded everything that the flesh wanted and done everything that the flesh liked. When God got a hold of me, he had to begin to clean house. He had to get rid of the things that I'd hoarded up. And so slowly but surely, God began to move this and God began to move that. Did it hurt? Oh man, did it hurt. Yeah. You ain't gonna convince me when I got a bad tooth and I'm in the dentist chair. By the way, do you like I hate dentists? I don't like the way they grind on your teeth and fill them. But aren't you thankful for them when you got a toothache? But some teeth can be fixed, others gotta go. I've had it both ways. I've had I've had bad teeth pulled, and then I've had other teeth filled. But uh, what was my thought there? You don't like what they're doing. Oh yeah, I didn't like what they're doing. But nevertheless, after they were done, I went out and I said, man, after the nova cane wore off and I could eat something now without my jaw killing me, I thought, man, I appreciate that doctor. Realized what they did. Yeah, I realized they helped me. That's right. Didn't convince me why I was in there pulling my tooth out. But it's like Sister Connell, she had a bad gallbladder. And Dr. Olwender, he's dead and gone now. He was a pioneer in that laparoscopic surgery. He helped uh invent that and bring that about. And so he told uh he told Sister Connell, he said, Oh, they don't cut you from here all the way around now to take your gallbladder out. That was the old way. He said, now they just make three punctures or whatever it is, and they go in there and laparoscoscopically remove that, they deflate the gallbladder and they pull it right out through that little tube. I guess that's the way it is. But uh, to make the long story short, he took Sister Connell's gallbladder out. She had a few uh bad experiences because it's given her the wrong medicine, right? And so she was just aching and hurting, felt like she was dying. And he walked in the room, and first thing she said is, You told me it wasn't gonna hurt. He said, Well, I might have overemphasized it a little bit. It's gotta hurt a little bit, Pat. And so when they figured out that the medicine was wrong that was being given to her, it calmed it all down, and she was thankful to God to get rid of that gangrene gallbladder. She had gangrene in her gallbladder. Now, you know, the difference between a surgeon and a man of God is that he's working on your flesh, and a man of God's working on your soul. And just like it hurts to be in the dentist chair and it hurts to have your gallbladder removed or something done through a surgery, uh, what is it though that afterwards and you're all healed up, you go over and you shake his hand and say, hey doc, thanks for fixing me up. Because it's over with. The operation's done and you've recovered from it, now you're feeling much better. But when a man of God begins to get this word of God out that's sharper than any two-edged sword, and it begins to cut away at the flesh in your soul that God wants to eliminate, it don't go away overnight. You might hurt for some time as God's eliminating that problem in your life. But thank God he loves you enough to eliminate it. For if that gallbladder would have been left in her life, it would have killed her. An abscess tooth killed uh, what was the great man that cried when he had nothing else to conquer? Uh Alexander the Great. He had conquered the whole known world. And the Bible says he got manically depressed because there was nothing else to conquer. My Lord, if all he'd had to have done is look in a mirror and it had a lifetime of battle to bring that man under submission to God. But the Bible says he died because of an abscess tooth and a drunken debaucher. He got depressed that there was nothing else to conquer. Until I take my last breath, I'm gonna have to endure. That's right. That's right. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. What are you enduring? This ungodly nation, for one. Do you know how bad they're doing us? With the gas prices at the pump and your gas bill to heat your home and your electric bill. They're oppressing the poor in this nation. And there's enough rich people in this nation that nobody should be poor. It's just the greed that when you get it, you won't let go of it.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

It's the evil of it. It's an evil. The root of all evil is what?

SPEAKER_03

The love of money.

SPEAKER_00

The love of money. Somebody said, well, does that mean that I'm not close to God because I ain't got no money in the bank? No. Don't mean that at all. It just means that if the money is in the bank and God asks for it, you'll give it. But if you won't give it when he asks for it, uh-oh, there's another God in your life, and that God's above God that really should be above your life.

unknown

That's it.

SPEAKER_00

There's so many gods that we can get tied up into. So many gods. But in closing, my thoughts, I thank God that we have the germ kernel of this Bible. And that germ kernel is a message of an overcomer. It's so easy to deflate their teachings on once saved, always saved. It's so easy. It's so easy that true men of God, when that is exposed out there, they're gonna hate you. Because you're gonna begin to tear their playhouse down. And when you begin to tear their playhouse down, they're not gonna love you. They're gonna despise you. When you tell them that everybody ain't gonna go to heaven, only the overcomer is gonna get eternal life. There's only seven promises of eternal life. They're found in the book of Revelation, and there's other places you can find it, but there's seven promises, and every promise is to the overcomer. Overcome what? Overcome self. Overcoming this nasty nature that we have. Do you know that if you live with jealousy in your life, you got a chain? Do you know if you live with bitterness in your life, something terrible happened to you when you're a little boy or a little girl or something recently or whatever, and you got a whole heart full of bitterness? You know that bitterness in you will take you to the grave. That's right. It'll take you to the grave. That's a chain of bondage. And when we come to God, we got all these chains hanging on us: jealousy and strife and envy and uh bitterness of things that's gone on in the past. We have all these things in our life because we've been bruised by the world. And God said he would not uh harm a bruised reed, nor would he put out a smoking flax. Thank God I was a bruised reed that he chose to come in and begin to fix up. I haven't been fixed up altogether as of yet. Somebody said, Well, what kind of preacher tells you that? Paul told him that. Paul said, I haven't apprehended that which I've been apprehended for as of yet. And he also said, every time I go to do good, evil is always present with me. And then he said, If I if this is all we got to look forward to, as Matt said, we're men and most miserable. I wonder what kind of day Paul was having that day. Do you ever think beyond just the words that you read? What kind of spirit was Paul having the day that he says, This is all there is, we're all men and women are most miserable. He wasn't on the mountain, Alex. He was somewhere down between the valley and the top when he wrote that. But after he's seen that glorious third heaven, a glimpse of what he was striving to get in his epistle after seeing that, he wrote to the Corinthian church, your light affliction that's just for a moment doesn't even weigh up to the things God's prepared for you that love him. If you took a balance and you put eternal life over here, and it just went bloom, and then you started putting all your trials, all your tests, everything you're struggling with, everything you're going through, you could just keep stacking it, keep stacking it, keep stacking it, and this over here ain't gonna move. Nothing measures up to eternal life. Nothing. And so I get to feeling sorry for myself at times. Anybody else got that pity party in their life? Pityful me? Oh, little me. At times God has to correct me. He has to tell me. Oh, you think you got it bad? Have you ever gone through anything like Abraham went through? Have you ever gone through anything like Job went through? Have you ever gone through anything like Paul went through? Have you gone through what Isaiah and Jeremiah went through? Have you ever been beaten for the gospel? Have you ever been locked up in jail yet for the gospel? No, no, no, no, no. Well then be quiet. There you go. Be quiet and know that I'm God. And the process that I'm taking you through has to be done.

That's right.

I'll close with this thought. Recently, if you'd like a good story to read, read 1 Samuel, the 25th chapter. You'll enjoy it. And if you don't understand it, write out a note and we'll help you as much as we can. But you'll find out that David, do you know David was a man after God's own heart? You've heard that all your life, probably. David was a man after God's own heart. Do you know what God had to put David through before he could put him on the throne of Israel? You ever consider it? He was anointed to be king when he was a teenage boy. But there was so much in David that had to be changed that God put David through a whole big process before he put him on the throne. He killed Goliath as a teenage boy. And Samuel dumped a whole horn of oil on him and told him he was going to be the king of Israel. But it took 30 years of David going through one trial, one test after another, the process to get David to where he to be the king that God wanted him to be. Do you know the Bible says that if you make the bride of Jesus Christ as an overcomer, that you will rule and reign with him with a rod of iron. And you shall be kings and priests. Well, to be a king and a priest, you're going to have to go through a process. You're not just going to be able to say, I accept Christ, and then go on your way and live your life the way you want to live it and ever come to a place where you have eternal life. I'll close with this thought. You can't get in the police force unless you pass a civil service test. Isn't that true? You can't become a certified welder until you take a certified test. You can't be a doctor or a lawyer until you put in your school. You can't become a nurse unless you put in the ears it needs to become a nurse. Everything in life, if it's real cheap, it normally doesn't last very long and it don't amount to a hill of beans. And somebody said, Well, I don't have none of those traits. Or none of those trades. That don't matter in this world. What matters in this world is that you got a place with God, and God's putting you through a process to give you life eternal. Amen?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

If you had some young kids come into this room today and they had them green scrubs, is that what they call them? Scrubs? Green scrubs on and those funny looking hats on, you know, that they go into surgery with, and they come walking in here and they said, We want to do brain surgery on everybody. I'm running. They're not qualified. They're not qualified to do that. Well, that's the same way it is in the gospel. There's men out there that's not qualified to be doing what they're doing. They chose to do it on themselves.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. But when you find true men of God, they didn't choose it. God chose it. That's what I told the Lord. When I had the world by the tail, and he got to dealing with me, led me down in a little gay bar. I ain't gonna talk about my past only for this moment here. A little bitty fella beat me until I sipped saw uh saw uh soup through a straw for a week. Yes, he was terrified. Black eyes, jaw swelled up. What was God doing? He started his process. Did God tell that man to jump on me? No, but when God saw that man jump on me and humble me like that and beat me half to death, and I was at home filling this big and sipping soup through a straw, God told me right there, I have called you. And I'm humbling you for the process that you must go through. That's right. Cleaning garbage cans out after being a union representative, making big money. Now here I am in the park lane manor and pulling cans out of the ground in 90-degree weather and full of maggots, and I'm washing the maggots out, and I got my head down in there, and it stinks to high heaven, and I got some silver paint, and I'm painting on the inside of that. And after a week of that, I started crying in one of them. My head was down in there, and I started the ball, and I said, Oh my god, what are you doing, Lord? And he said, I'm humbling you. You know, one of the first things that God has to do with any man or woman before he begins to have the ability to really work like he wants to work, is we have to become humble. And brother, our nature fights tooth and nail against being humble. Isn't that the truth? And so I'm thankful. I'm thankful for our service today. I'm thankful for all the mothers that's among us today. And uh because of our setting and because of our limited time, uh, I'm hoping and praying that God will deliver us a building soon. For all of the all of us, and even the ones that's been taught, we need to be refreshed. And uh when we get a church building, we'll have the ability to have days set apart or whatever for teaching, to where we can go through the subjects. How many of you like to be so secure in the Godhead that a oneness person could come to you and a Trinitarian person could come to you at the same time, and because of the foundation of the teaching that's been put in your life, the word of God that's out of this Bible, that you could help them, not belittle them, not make them feel inferior to you, but you could open the scriptures to them and they might understand the gospel in a more excellent way. Would you like to know the Godhead? Would you like to be secure in knowing how to deal with the Godhead? Would you like to know the truth about hell? Would you like to know the truth about the resurrections? There's four major doctrines. And it's in Hebrews 6. I'll close because it's 5 to 4. But Hebrews 6, brother Matt, 6 and 1. Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, well, that's the most principal doctrine. That's the cardinal doctrine, brother Ronnie. Without preaching Christ, the rest of the Bible is void. It's in vain. The only way that we can get there is through Christ. So he's the principal teaching. People have to know what Christ came and what he'd done for us. That's the very cardinal of the Bible. The cardinal teaching of this Bible is Christ crucified, raised the third day. That song, I love that song that we play, No Grave's Gonna Hold Me Down. We all like that song, don't we? It puts a little charge in your step. It's got a little bit of something in it that's a seasoning that I can get excited with that song. But you know, if you didn't know the truth, which some of you might be here and not understand that song, when that song says that he died and went to hell, they told one big lie.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Christ didn't die and go to hell. Christ died and went to a tomb and went out of existence. The Bible says he poured out his soul unto death. How can a body live without a soul? So he died. But wouldn't you like to know the truth about hell one day? The Godhead. Right here is the rest of it. Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to what? Perfection. Let us go on to perfection. What does that word perfection actually mean? It means maturity. Let us go on and develop into maturity with God. So here's what he says: laying again the foundation of repentance, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God, of the doctrine of baptism. Come on. Does it say baptism? It says baptisms. Of the doctrine of baptisms, of the laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do if God permits us. Yes. That's the four major doctrines of this Bible. Christ crucified, the doctrine of laying on of hands, the doctrine of baptisms, and the doctrine of the resurrection, and the doctor, uh the doctrine of what else is it? Four of them, of eternal judgment. You need to know those doctrines to have a good foundation in your life to continue to strive lawfully towards God. Somebody said, Well, what about all the people that love God and never heard this? We're in a real gracious part of uh of God's kingdom right now. I gotta stop. Somebody, I think it was Sister Tina, you don't mind me saying this, do you? She asked me the other time when we went out to eat, Jess. She said, Well, what happens if somebody dies without the Holy Ghost, but they're striving to get it? You're coming up. Somebody says, Well, I thought I'd just go to No, you can't go to heaven without the Holy Ghost. I hate to be so blunt. But I'm gonna be as blunt as Jesus was with Nicodemus. Nicodemus, you must be born again. Why? Can I enter into my mother's womb again? No, Nicodemus, you're looking at this through a natural mind. You must be born of the spirit and of the water and the spirit. Two births there. The birth of the outward man is when you get saved, you get water baptized, and then the spirit birth is what some of us has been receiving here in the last few services. You must be born again. And so if Nicodemus had to be born again, and Christ came to bring the new birth, if we reject the new birth, then we're rejecting Christ. And if we teach that it's just an added gift, we're a worker of iniquity. Then God's gonna separate the workers of iniquity from those that's truly preaching the gospel one day. You ought to be thankful. I ought to be thankful. We ought to be more thankful than really what we are, of what God's doing in our life in this little building. And what he's done for all those years in the garage. We ought to be thankful. But not being in church all the time, uh, I know for speaking for myself, it's taken a while for God to get me back to where I need to be. But I'm willing to go through whatever I gotta go through to get completely where God wants me. Amen. God bless you all. I hope you have a good evening this evening. And once again, we uh pray that God will bless all the mothers in the church, fathers too, and thank you for being in the Gospel Truth Assembly. And come next Sunday expecting great things from God. Come expecting great things. God bless you, and good night.
