SPEAKER_00

Praise the Lord. Let's all rise and go to the Lord in prayer today. We want to remember Brother Mathis. He's got to flare up with the condition that he's got. He's uh called me before church here, and he's always one that he hates to miss church. That's a good characteristic, isn't it? To hate to miss church. So we want to remember him in prayer. And then we got Sam on the way. We've seen the traffic backed up, so I'm sure they're stuck in traffic. But how many of you is glad to be here today?

SPEAKER_02

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Praise the Lord. Praise God. So that request for Brother Michael. Pray that you'll remember all of your brothers and sisters in prayer and pray that God will be with us. The most important part of our whole service is the presence of God. That's the most precious thing that we can ask for. Yes. Is his presence to come in with his people. And his presence comes into the midst of us according to how much we want his presence. And so me personally, and I can speak for many others, I'm sure, I need all the presence of God that I can get. Yes. Because I'm getting old and I'm not ready to go yet. I'm getting closer, but the closer I get, the more I find out God keeps revealing. And so it gives me uh time to look back and begin to realize that there's more work to be done in my life. But I don't want to keep you standing. But let's uh any other requests here today.

SPEAKER_07

So we found out yesterday my father-in-law Rick got skin cancer, but they are pretty optimistic about it. They're gonna get it remote if you shouldn't get you know, but appreciate the praise for that. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

What's his name again?

SPEAKER_02

Rick.

SPEAKER_00

Rick. All right, let's remember Rick. Amen. God would touch that. We've got a God that can heal any disease, anything. Uh he can he can do whatever's needed for his people, but there's lots of times, and most of the time, God wants us to do something with what he tells us to do. That's right. And there's where the problem comes in. But, anyways, who else got a request? Tuesday I'll enter another carpet.

SPEAKER_04

I'm sorry about that.

SPEAKER_00

Tuesday I'll enter another carpet. Tuesday, this coming Tuesday. Okay. Okay. All right, let's remember Brother Jason. We need every saint that's in this building. So we need God to keep us all healthy. Amen. Alright, let's remember Sister Becky. Let's remember Sister Ann. Andy's mother. I had her on my mind. Anyone else? Jess has an unspoken request. Yes. I imagine we all have unspoken requests, don't we? So let's remember that. It's good to have little Sam here with us. Yes, it is. Man, you're right. Her hair has changed color on its own. Anyone else? Let's pray that God will open our ears today. That's right. Praise God. That God will open our ears and uh keep us to where we can hear God when he speaks. Amen. So we love the Lord. We appreciate him. We appreciate everyone that's here today. We just pray that you'll get a blessing, a nugget of gold today. Wouldn't it be wonderful to leave this building today with a big nugget of gold and a big cup of fresh water from God?

SPEAKER_04

Amen. I'd like to I'd like to. I'm just gonna try the spirit here, and I want to request you for you out loud to request the Lord to allow the Holy Spirit. You request the Lord to allow the Holy Spirit to come in amongst us during the worship or whenever it sees fit to touch every individual here. Absolutely. Not just those that are sensitized or spiritual or heightened sense of awareness of the spirit, but every individual here. Because we all sit in heavenly places. One might feel the spirit, one might not. But I don't want to be a church that fifty of the brothers sees it and fifty of the brothers don't. I want to be a church where we all see it. We all feel it. We all hear it. Absolutely. So I just felt led to ask you if you would during your prayer to please request that type of the Holy Spirit in us. Anyone else?

SPEAKER_00

Alright. Dear Lord. Oh God. Dear God, we thank you, Lord, for another day, dear God. I appreciate everything that you're doing for the family of God. Oh God. I appreciate a covering in all of our lives, dear God. What a need there is for a greater covering, Lord. I pray this day, dear God, as the pastor of this assembly, Lord. God, oh God, that you, dear God, would touch every mind, every spirit, every soul, everything that's in our lives, dear God. That's something today, dear God, will break free. Such a wonderful presence. Something, dear God, will take a scale off of our eyes. Take something, dear God, from our spirit that might be hindering us, Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Oh God, oh God.

SPEAKER_00

Take all the walls down, dear God, that hinders us, Lord. Have mercy. Oh God, there's some walls that's too wide to go around, deep to dig under, and too high to climb over. Yes, Lord. God, you got the ability to knock down every wall, Lord. You got the ability to touch every heart that's in this building today, dear God. Not only us, dear God, as a small flock, but the great body of Jesus Christ throughout the world today, dear God. Your people need you in such an urgent way, dear God. Yes, Jesus. Let the power of God get greater and greater and greater, Lord. Have your way in every soul of God today, Lord. Every request, dear God, every need, dear God, physically, financially, and spiritually, Lord. We just put it in your hands, dear God, as the master that you are, Lord. We appreciate you. Thank you for everything in your sweet, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful name, Lord. Amen, amen, amen.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

And gives me something to say, not from my standpoint, but from God's standpoint. Here lately I've been sending out a few texts to the brethren. And then I hope that the brethren will share it with their wives about this man by the name of Lauren Livingston. And born in the church, from what I gather, and then a Holy Ghost-filled preacher down in North Carolina. And just stumbled across him on the internet and felt God tell me to listen to him. And so I've been listening to a few of his sermons. And he's definitely on fire. And he definitely has the vision for God's people in these last days as much as he knows the vision. And the one vision that he's got that I agree 100% is we're in the filthiest world that's ever been known to mankind.

SPEAKER_07

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's so filthy that I was in the basement the other day, and I felt like the Lord said, I'm so sick of what I'm watching I could vomit. We're in a world that's so liberal. Before my father passed away, and Brother Michael, he loves his statement that my father made. He said, Brother Michael Mathis, he said, before it's over with, he said, people are going to become so liberal that their brains is going to fall out.

SPEAKER_04

Brother Connolly said, so open-minded.

SPEAKER_00

So open-minded that their brains will fall out. I hope we all recognize and we realize that God's not a liberal God. When it comes to sin, God calls sin, and sin is sin with God. And what do you think he thinks about the homosexuality that's in our nation right now?

SPEAKER_04

Despise it.

SPEAKER_00

No matter what we feel, no matter how we have empathy, there's a difference between empathy and sympathy. Empathy is when you feel for somebody, but they've brought it on their self. Sympathy is when something is gone on, like little Sam here, that she had no jurisdiction over it.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You can have complete sympathy on this child. Something a man walks down the railroad track and sticks his leg out on the track and the car comes down and cuts it off. You can't have sympathy on him, you can have empathy on him, but sympathy you can't show to that man. I can't show sympathy to the homosexuality in this nation. Neither should you show sympathy.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

How can we justify something that God says is an abomination?

SPEAKER_04

That's right. So true.

SPEAKER_00

If God says it's an abomination and then you want to lift it up, you become abominable with them.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes, through association.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And so when you look at this world and the filth that's in this world, they're not content with what God created. They want their own creation. So they're mutilating children. Ask a five-year-old whether he wants to be a boy or a girl. My God, their brains is warped. They've got a warped brain in this world right now. Which one was it today that I got a Sister Connell showed me a picture of Ezra? He's crawling. Little AJ's walking. And Ada is on her way. She said she's trying. Do you know it's the same way that if we look in the natural, we can see the spiritual. Everything that's in this planet, the trees, the lakes, the oceans, our own walk with God, our children. If you look deep enough beyond the surface, you'll see God in everything. Everything. You can look at an oak tree and see God in that oak tree. Oh, yes. You can look at an ocean, and the ocean goes out, it's a tide and comes back in. You can see God in the moon agitating the ocean. You can see God in the sun keeping us alive. Not only is the natural sun keeping us alive, but we have the Son of God keeping us alive. The Son of God is keeping us alive. But you gotta have a want for life to ever have life. But I looked at uh that little Ezra crawling, and then I've seen AJ met us at the door waving and walking. Now she's not walking real good, but she's walking. And then uh it won't be long until probably Ada uh will be crawling also. And then it won't be long until AJ being the first one that started crawling, she should run before the rest of them run. Now, if you got ears to hear, I'm talking something spiritual. We all start out our walk with God in a crawl.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

We begin to learn how to crawl, and then we begin to learn how to grab a hold of something. And then we begin to learn how to pull ourselves up.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And we begin to build different muscles.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And we begin to walk, and when we walk, we need somebody to steady us. You know that's what an elder in the church is for? Is he a support, he's a shepherd, he's an overseer, he has a filling for the flock that might not everybody might not have, but he's got that spirit of a love for all the flock of God, no matter how many burrs is in your uh in your fur, no matter how many thorns you're walking with, he still has a love for you, and is all he wants to do is see you healed and up to higher ground. That's the qualifications that a man's gotta have, is he's gotta love the flock of God. But we also have to have enough understanding in God that even though somebody loves you with all of his heart, he also sometimes has to hurt you a little bit to ever get you fixed.

SPEAKER_05

That's very true.

SPEAKER_00

You can't go to the dentist's office and get a bad tooth pulled out without no hurt.

SPEAKER_07

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

If you find one, tell me. I'll make him my permanent dentist. If you find a surgeon that can operate on you, and when you wake up, there's zero pain, tell me his name. It's the same way in the house of God. God doesn't intend to hurt any of us, but in his procedures. Now listen to me. In God's procedures, in his process, we go through some hurts.

SPEAKER_04

Oh God.

SPEAKER_00

Brother, I'm 75 years old. I couldn't tell you how many valleys I've been in. I couldn't tell you how many bottoms of the mountains I've had to climb. I couldn't tell you how many sorrows I've had to press through. I couldn't tell you how many times my mind has disturbed me.

SPEAKER_01

I couldn't tell you how many times I fell and my saviors had to pick me back up. Hallelujah. I'm still here. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

When you're young in the Lord, you're just like that newborn. You got to learn how to crawl first. Then you've got to learn how to walk, and eventually you'll begin to learn how to run. And not long after you learn how to run, you'll start to climb. We've got a process to go through. Jesus put it very well when he inspired the apostle John to say, I speak unto you, babes, that you sin not. That's the ideal, is to get every child of God out of the sinning business. That's the ideal that we're speaking of. But the actual is always much lower than the uh ideal. But without an ideal, there is no actual. You've got to have an ideal of what you want in God. I'd like to have a peaceful walk with God. Would you not like to have a peaceful walk with God?

unknown

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

I wrote this down today. I appreciate you letting me speak to you. I appreciate you listening to what I have to say.

SPEAKER_02

That's good.

SPEAKER_00

I appreciate that God's brought each and every one of you here. That's good.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Everyone in this building today, God brought you here. For no man can come unto God or to the Son except the Father draws him. Do you know that God has called every one of your names that's in this building today? He has drawn you to where his son is being preached.

unknown

Praise God. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You're not following Brother Connell. You're not following any man nor any woman in this church. You are following Jesus Christ, your Savior, the anointed one. Hallelujah.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Praise God. And when you think you're something, you're nothing. And when you get too haughty, God's got a needle that's called deflate.

SPEAKER_03

Deflate. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

He's deflated me so many times that I almost can see the needle coming. But God loves humility. Oh my God, what he's got to do to get you humble. What he's got to put us through at times to get us humble. I wrote this down a little bit ago before I come to church. Who is thankful to be here? You know there's a big difference in just being here and thankful to be here.

SPEAKER_07

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Now take note of that thought. There's a big difference in being in the house of God and then being thankful to be in the house of God. This happens to be a day for me that I'm thankful to be here. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

But next week I might come to the house of God, but not be as thankful.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. How come? And what are you saying, Brother Connell? Because my spirit determines how much I'm thankful to be here.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That's so true.

SPEAKER_00

And my walk with God determines me on how much I'm thankful to be here. If I'm living in sin, I am not thankful to be here.

SPEAKER_01

I'm troubled to be here.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

But here's a place where the altar is always open.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You can always get your burdens delivered from you here. You don't have to be in this building, but anywhere that God brings you under conviction is the altar. Anywhere, if you're in the woods, if you're welding, if you're in the shop, if you're at work, no matter where you're at, if you're doing dishes, wherever you are at, if God brings you under conviction for something, you found God's altar. Praise God. That's it. That's the time to repent and don't put it off. That's right. You know why? Because the more you put things off with God, the deeper you go.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Very true.

SPEAKER_00

The deeper you go. Somebody said, Have you ever been on the sideline with God? I'm ashamed to tell you how many times. Because I don't even know how many times. Somebody said, Well, how do I know if I'm on the sideline with God? Can you feel him? Can you feel his presence? Can you hear him? Well, I don't hear him and I can't feel it. You're on the sideline, unfortunately. That's why Brother Sauders loved that song so much. If you're on the main line, keep up on that main line. If you're on the sideline, get back on the main line.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

How many of you love your power bill now? Electric bill. How many of you love the price of gas? How many of you love going to the grocery store? How many of you are aware that they're trying to oppress us until we give up?

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You know what you gotta have to continue to love God in this nasty wicked world that we're in? You have to be like a bulldog.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Grab a hold, and no matter what, don't let go of the only one that can see you through all this wicked world. That's good.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

He's the only one that's gonna get us to this nasty world we're in. Amen. As my father and the Lord said, we're not gonna get there in the sweet by and by. I'm here to tell you as a man of God, this ain't getting no better. Nope, that's right. It's only gonna get darker and darker until what Isaiah said that in the last days, gross darkness, gross darkness, shall fill the whole earth. Homosexuality is an abomination to God, and it's nothing but pure filth and darkness. If you have any other thoughts of that, repent for them. Ask God to cleanse you of those kind of thoughts. Well, do you hate them, brother Connor? I love every one of them.

SPEAKER_01

Bring them in, Lord, but only bring the ones that want to be delivered.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

That's well said.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Only bring the ones that wants to be delivered. And then if Bill and Joe is sitting in the back there, we'll go back and pray for Bill and Joe. If Sally and Mary are sitting over there, we'll go and pray for Sally and Mary.

SPEAKER_01

But you must change to stay in the house of God.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

All of us, that's right. Every one of us has got a change. Amen. It's good. If there's no chair, if there's no change in the apple tree that you've got planted in your garden, cut it down. It's worthless.

unknown

True, praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Make a shade tree out of it, but you're never going to get no fruit off of it.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_00

And we're just like that apple tree, pear tree, plum tree. We all start out with a desire to produce fruit, but we've got to crawl, learn how to walk, and then learn how to climb before anything is ever produced. But if you give up along the way, it's your fault for giving up. Because God never gives up on us. If we ever go back in the world, God forbid, it's because you and I chose to go back in the world. And you can do anything you want because you're a free-willed individual. But guess what? You might think it looks good out there, but I can guarantee you from experience. Experience isn't the best teacher. It's cruel. It's cruel to find out that God don't like that and you're determined to do it anyways. I'm a hard learner. But brother, once I get enough knots on my head, I learn. But if any of us desire the things of this world, we've got to put a stop to it. Because it starts right up here. Temptation doesn't come in your feet, your hands or your elbows. Temptation comes in your mind. That's right. And so not to not to just uh drive this point, but I want you to know you cannot stand for the homosexuality that's in our nation and be a child of God. You're a child of the devil thinking like that. Yes. You gotta make a difference to those that Brother Jesse said. The Lord said way back in the beginning, he said, you make a difference between them that love me and them that don't. My aunt before she passed away had a relative that turned to the homosexual way of life and tried to convince her that he was born like that. You ain't born like that. You choose that. And it's such a powerful spirit that's in our nation right now. My God, you can't even turn the TV on. Two big, full-size men kissing each other right in the mouth. You know God looks down on that and he could stick his finger down his throat and bomb it on that.

SPEAKER_02

Terrible thing.

SPEAKER_00

That isn't what God intended. He created one man and one woman. Told them to be fruitful and multiply. Two men can't be fruitful and multiply. Two women can't be fruitful and multiply. I'll tell you what they can do because of this rotten court system and the ungodliness of our nation. They can get a child and raise them up.

SPEAKER_01

What mind is it gonna be in a baby boy raised up by two men? That's unnormal. That's not normal.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. Somebody said, Yeah, but under the New Testament, you know, they can go to heaven with you. Leave me out of heaven if you're gonna take all those gay people and tread in heaven. They're not getting there. God ain't never gonna let a homosexual enter into eternal life. He's not even gonna let you and I obtain eternal life with sin in our life. That's right.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

The wages of sin is eternal life.

unknown

Nope.

SPEAKER_00

The wages of sin is death. And the unfortunate thing is, is you can be dead and still alive. Walking around dead. What do you mean, walking around dead? Adam was cut off from God and put out of the garden. When he was cut off from God, he was dead. But he lived to be 930 years old. But he was a dead man.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Why was he dead? Because the Spirit of God cut him off. And what cut him off was disobedience to God. That's what cuts me and you off. It's when we become disobedient to God. You can play church, you can act any way you want, but you can be a dead tree.

SPEAKER_01

That's true.

SPEAKER_04

Yep, very true.

SPEAKER_00

Because you've been cut off. What I do, Brother Connell, get hooked back up.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. If I don't pay my light bill, they disconnect me. But a disconnection don't mean that I'm always going to be in the dark. I pay my bill. And they come back and hook me up.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

It's the same way with God. I can guarantee you, if you're really sincere and you want to walk with God, you're going to feel some disconnection notices.

unknown

Oh, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I hope you can understand that.

unknown

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

You're going to feel some disconnection notices. You know why? Because God's a wonderful God of association.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

He loves association. I feel God. My soul is free. I love him. I've got the lovers so deep down in my heart, Lord. And then I trespass against him and my head goes down. What's going on? Association. Do you want sin? You can have it, but you won't have me with you.

SPEAKER_01

Do you hate sin? I hate it, Lord. Then I'm with you.

SPEAKER_00

Well, what about me, though, Lord? I'm still imperfect. Just wait. Because perfection comes like a newborn babe. That babe's no longer ready to go out in the world than you uh, than we're ready to go to the moon.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

It takes a while for that child to grow up and become independent and weaned.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Amen.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

You know what Isaiah said? Who shall I teach doctrine to?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

What is doctrine? It's God's word. It's his truth. I want you to hear this clear though. Maybe Brother Matt will be able to find that scripture for you. Who shall uh God teach doctrine to? They that are weaned from the breast. I think it's in Isaiah, Brother Matt, if you'd like to try to find it. So they can read it for themselves. People of God can read it in Isaiah. But Brother Tucker told me one time, he said, one of the saddest things I ever saw, Brother Connell, is he said, uh, I went to a home one time and he said uh the little boy was about 11 or 12, whatever he told me. He said, and he kept nudging his mom while I was talking to her about the things of God. And he said, come to find out that that 11, 12-year-old boy, he wanted milk. Would that not be embarrassing? To have a little uh uh Ezra, 10, 11 years old and still breastfeeding? That'd be shame, wouldn't it? You know where a lot of God's people are at?

SPEAKER_01

They have nothing other than milk.

SPEAKER_00

Because all they're getting is milk. And so the church should just keep growing, growing, and growing.

SPEAKER_01

What's going on there? They're not getting anything but milk.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Yep. But once you begin to bring out the word of God in these great big megachurches, you put a true man of God behind the pulpit, and that congregation will go from a thousand to fifty. How come, Brother Connell? Because they don't want to hear the truth, they want their ears tickled. The same thing is they want their Baba.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

They want the comfort of that bottle. This isn't the way I felt like the Lord was gonna take me, but nevertheless, I want to be led by the Lord, whichever direction God wants to go. It's alright to start out on milk, but milk is never gonna build you to be a very strong individual.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Nope.

SPEAKER_00

You need meat and potatoes. Somebody say, Well, I'm a vegetarian. I'm not talking about natural meat, I'm talking about spiritual meat. But first and foremost, you've got to get the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and this isn't uh this isn't playing anybody down, this is lifting you up.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Once you get the baptism of the Holy Ghost, something happens to your spirit and your mind to where these ears can hear that never heard before.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, it's true. Exactly.

unknown

Waking, yep.

SPEAKER_00

God does something with your senses. That's right. He does something with your ability to understand.

unknown

I believe, yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_00

And then you look at this world. My God, they're making it so they make it look like it's royalty to be out there. Sleep with one person after another person.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, uh, no care, just wipe your mouth off and go to the nest, male or female. My God, no conscience in them. And if you put your hand to say that's alright, you have chosen to put your hand to something that God says that ain't alright.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, amen.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

You can't agree with the devil and God at the same time. They don't mix. And when you want to serve God and walk with God, you're gonna have all kinds of people that's in opposition to you.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

The Bible says, even your own family shall become your foe.

unknown

It's Bible.

SPEAKER_00

Is that not Bible?

SPEAKER_05

Yes, there is.

SPEAKER_00

It's Bible. Whom shall he teach knowledge, and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and draw from the breast. Everybody starts out on milk. Jesus loves me. Yes, I know. For the Bible told me so. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Mary had a little lamb.

SPEAKER_00

Little sweet things about Jesus, which we all need to know how sweet and wonderful he is. But when you begin to grow up in God, you also know that you've got a God that's sweet and precious and sent his son for you 2,000 years ago. But God demands respect, God demands honor, and God demands growth.

SPEAKER_03

That's it. Growth. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

What farmer would ever plant a crop and never see nothing sprout out out of the ground? Would you keep dumping all your time and effort in the ground that's never produced one thing?

unknown

No. No.

SPEAKER_00

My father dumped oil, gasoline, everything he could think of that he didn't want uh uh that he didn't want, he dumped it behind the garage. Sorry to say, I caught a little bit of that spirit in me. Sometimes I dump some stuff back there I shouldn't dump. But guess what? I decided to grow a garden. And I plowed up that garden, but my God, was that ground hard? It was terribly hard. You know why a whole lot of the seed of God can't be planted in our hearts? Because we got hardened of the arteries.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

We got a hard heart.

unknown

Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Our heart's hard. How did it get hard? People stepping on you, problems and terrible things in life, difficulty, parents that didn't raise you right. All the things that just stomped you down to where you become so hard that God's got to put a big goat devil down in your land.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

He's got to dig it real deep. And then he's got to work real hard to get all that stony ground out and all that stuff that's been put down on you, all the false things that's been told to you. God's got to plow up all the ground before he can plant seed.

SPEAKER_02

That's it.

SPEAKER_00

If you plant seed on top of hard ground, guess what? Here comes the crows, here comes the birds, and nothing got any place to be planted because the fowls of the air came and plucked it up. That's true. It goes right along with the teaching that Jesus gave about the parable of the sower. Some seed fell on wayside soil, and the fowls of the air came and plucked it up. Now you don't think he was talking about crows and sparrows and birds, do you? No. The fowls of the air that wants to pluck up the things of God out of your heart is none other than the devil himself, the carnal mind.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Every time you hear something that's good about God, the devil will cause you to doubt it.

SPEAKER_02

That's true.

SPEAKER_00

Every time you get something from God, you get the Holy Ghost, and two nights later you're asking God, Did I really get it? You know what's going on? The devil is trying to pluck the good things of God. The carnal mind is an enemy to God. It's never going to be okay with God.

SPEAKER_05

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

It's got to be crucified.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

But God don't expect you to mortify the deeds done in the body until you're old enough to get it done.

SPEAKER_02

That's good. That's right. Well said, yes.

SPEAKER_00

A newborn babe in Christ, just enjoy your little, just enjoy your little wallaby.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, how I love you. Just enjoy that season with God when you're a new convert. Because it ain't long until he's gonna get you out of the crib and begin to tell you that you gotta straighten up. You gotta walk upright with God. You can't have fellowship with God and walk in darkness.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

God has no desire to walk in darkness. God can get you out of darkness, but he won't go join you in darkness.

SPEAKER_05

That's good. Yep, that's true. That's a good statement. It is good, yes.

SPEAKER_00

He won't join you in darkness, but he'll pull you out of darkness.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen. That's good.

SPEAKER_00

I had a dream from God a long time ago that I was walking down through this tunnel and there was a little bit of light, and I was thankful. But I was with a very ungodly man. You know, I'm with a very ungodly man every time I wake up.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

He's a dark passenger called the devil. The carnal mind. The serpent is right in our presence every day of our life. It's up to us to decide which voice we're gonna listen to.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Are you gonna listen to the serpent's voice? And what does the serpent like? Dust. Earthly things. Everything that the serpent dwells upon is dirt. There's nothing but dirt on the TV now. Every time you turn the TV on, made a pill to fix the homosexuals so they can still become, stay a homosexual. And cancer is still on a rampage. They won't spend the money and time to fix cancer, but they'll fix a pill for you to continue in your immorality. That's right.

unknown

That's what they're doing.

SPEAKER_00

Just glorifying everything about the flesh. My God, everything you turn on is something to make the flesh more beautiful. Buy this, it does away with wrinkles, really? Wrinkles are normal. You know what happens when you begin to grow old? If the devil begins to tell you that you need to stay young, you've been caught up in the spider's web. What about those women you see? 70 years old, my God, in a mini skirt, black boots, all kinds of costume jewelry, all kinds of cosmetics. And they walk around and they look ridiculous. You're supposed to get old. And don't kick against it, because if you kick against it too much, you'll get so carnal natural minded that you'll buy all that junk.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I'm guilty as charged. Oh, I don't buy things for that, but I Sister Collins. Got to tell me all the time. I'm always wanting more energy. So I'll see something on the TV. This gives you nothing but energy. Order that from me for me. You know, 99% of that junk that they offer you out there is all fake. But they know how they know what we are about, and so the children of this world are wiser than the children of God.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And they get you to buy all that crap. Pardon it language.

unknown

They know their customers.

SPEAKER_00

What should I say? They get you to buy all that junk.

unknown

They're scam artists.

SPEAKER_00

They're scam artists. You know how many scam artists is in religion right now?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You know what Paula White is? A scam artist. You know what Seth Fro Dollar is? A scam artist. You know what Kenneth Copeland is? A scam artist. You know what most of these ministers are? Scam artists. Send me a thousand dollars. Put it in my name. But send it to God. But make sure you write it out to me.

SPEAKER_01

And if you give me $1,000, Brother Ronnie, God's going to give you back $10,000. You know what? That is nothing but vomit putting on the table to God's people.

SPEAKER_00

That is pure adulterated, no good for nothing teaching. That you sow a thousand dollars and God will give you back ten thousand. That's right, not Bible. That's not Bible. Here's another teaching that they're giving out here in the world is that come to God and get rich. Come to God. You come to God, Brother Alex. It won't be long until you and Dana got a mansion somewhere. Wrong. Wrong. That's a fallacy being preached out there. It's a fallacy being preached that you're going to get rich giving your life to God. That's funny. The Bible tells me that the rich will scarcely make it in.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You know what Jesus said about the rich? He said, it's going to be harder for rich people to come into the kingdom than a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Bible. It's impossible. I don't know much about sewing, but every once in a while I'll get one of those needles out, that pin cushion to get a splinter or something out. And that little eyelet that's in that needle, you could never fit nothing through it but a thread. That's right. So what did God mean when he said it's harder for the rich to enter in the kingdom of heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of the needle? You have to study. You have to dig. You have to want to know what that means. You know what most people do with the Bible?

SPEAKER_01

It's harder to go through the camp, uh come into the kingdom than the camel to go through the eye of the needle.

SPEAKER_00

I don't understand that. Next page. Somebody said, well, what are you supposed to do with your question that you don't understand? Bring them to men of God. Somebody said, well, I need to get it on my own. You aren't fit. You aren't able to get it on your own.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

That's the way God set it up. Somebody said, well, why did he set it up for that? Because he knows our nature.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And he knows we don't like to learn from anybody, but we just like to lean on our own understanding. Absolutely.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_00

And so God set it up. He gave gifts unto men for what? For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and then that we be not tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. You hear a minister stand up and tell you that homosexuals and lesbians and transgenders is going to go to heaven. You better shut that man down. He is a false prophet. Then you say, Well, I got family. Yeah, I got family. But so what? You better choose God over your family.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

It don't mean that you treat anybody in your family bad. It just means that if they ask you what you think, you better tell them not what you think. Tell them what God thinks. Amen. God says it's an abomination. If you don't believe, Brother Connell, go back when you're at home, and if you ever study your Bible, hope to God you do. Because if you don't never read your Bible, and if you don't never pray, you're as about as spiritual as a frog. Let me say, oh, I don't need to read the Bible. Yes, you do. I don't need to do anything like that. Then why did Jesus say it in real, real plain words? Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood, there is no life in you. There's lots of times that I don't study my Bible every day. Oh my God, what kind of minister you are. A truthful one.

SPEAKER_02

That's right, a real one.

SPEAKER_00

A real one.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And you know there's some times when I can read my Bible that I get so much out of it, and there's other times I read my Bible, and it's like people pulling my wisdom teeth. The Bible. Times and seasons with God. That's right. But when you're not in season, don't fall in the ditch. Don't fall in the ditch when you're not in season. Because guess what? Spring's coming. Amen. And then if you're in the ditch, you're going to miss spring. Just stand still and know that you've got an ultimate, wonderful, powerful God that keeps the universe going, and he's borne you with his spirit. Amen.

SPEAKER_05

Amen. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

Hallelujah. Yes, Lord. So I want to just say this. That while I was studying, the Lord said, Who is thankful to be here? There is a difference just being here and thankful to be here. How many times have you come to the house of God and it was almost like a grudgery? Time to go to church, honey. Really? Time to get up, honey. Really? Time to go to the church. Really? I could be fishing today. I could be out at a baseball game. I could be doing anything that the flesh wants to do. And if you've got that in your heart and you come into the house of God and you'd rather be out there enjoying everything that the flesh wants to enjoy, you are here, but you aren't here.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, Jesus.

unknown

That's right. That's true.

SPEAKER_00

Is that true? Yes, yes, amen. And then Brother Patton said one time, he said it like this: He said, if we were wise, we would look at the problems that we have in this life through God's point of view. God's point of view. How does God look at it? My God, I cry over everything. I'm the worst complainer you've ever seen.

SPEAKER_03

Really, Brother Connell?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, God's got to get a hold of me or I just complain. I'm too hot. Now I'm too cold. I hate this rainy weather. My God, will the sun come out and go behind a cloud? There's just no pleasing the human family. God's never been able to please the human family. The only way that God can we can ever be pleasing to God is stop all of our murmuring and complaining. It's sin to continually murmur and complain. Well, are you saying that you sin, Brother Connell? I'm getting better. And that's all that matters, is that we're getting better.

unknown

That's right, brother.

SPEAKER_00

We haven't made it yet, but we're getting better. Amen. We're getting better. And so the thought came to me today is that, and I won't keep us much longer, my part of it, there's a difference in being here and thankful to be here. Lots of times I've been wonderfully thankful to be here. But let's just be realistic. If everything don't go right before church, you get in a spat with the wife, or the wife gets in a spat with her husband, or you uh are or you you you done something that you you you know that it did it it's disturbed you. My hair don't fix right. I gotta change my shirt twice today. Had to change my trousers. Guess what? This little old fat man needs to lose some weight. He said, No, now are you picking on us? No, no, I'm telling you about me. I don't have the money to buy new clothes, but there's something in me that just likes the fattening stuff. Cream sticks and donuts, chocolate candy, ice cream, T bones, and shrimp. And then you go like that, and my God, they don't fit anymore. I wonder why. Sure. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You know, this is such a tricky thing that you can be sitting here in this house of God right now and shut a man of God right down because he got on your nerves.

SPEAKER_02

That's true. Yes, of course.

SPEAKER_00

He touched something today that my God, what a spark went off. And from here on out, I'm not gonna listen to one thing he says. My Lord, folks. God didn't call me to make you feel good all the time. Amen.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

God called me to make you feel uncomfortable at times.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. The truth hurts.

SPEAKER_00

The whole thing about God's word is that God's word should put us under conviction.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And if you've lost the ability to be convicted over something you're doing, you need to go back and do your first worksover and find the love of Jesus Christ that you had to got you saved because you need saved again.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. It's the Bible, amen. It's good.

SPEAKER_00

How many times have I gone back and done my first worksover? I don't know, but I do know this that it's awful easy to drift away from God, but it's awful tough to stay hooked up.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yes. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

How do you stay hooked up to God? Pay your bills. Pay what God's given you to pay. Don't join yourself with the ungodly. What fellowship has light with darkness? That's right. Amen. Is that the Bible? Help me, brethren. I appreciated all the oxen around here today. Yes, amen. All gathered around. All these men that God's put in this assembly. You know God's dependent on us to take this church on?

unknown

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

You know God's dependent on the fathers and the men that's in this church to hold this labor up?

unknown

I believe it. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You know when God built the temple, you know what it was built on? It was built on a great big huge uh basin that held 3,000 baths of water.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

When God gave Moses uh and our David uh uh Moses first in the tabernacle, then David and Solomon. When David and Solomon began to build the temple, God said, build it just like I told you to build it, or I'm not coming.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

If if Noah wouldn't have built the ark just like God told him to build it, it would have sank.

SPEAKER_05

That's true.

SPEAKER_01

God is not going to back any church that's not building according to God.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Amen. Preach it.

SPEAKER_00

Right now, his mercy is so great that they can get excited out there. Brother, you could bring uh you could bring Jesse's guitar and put somebody on the drums, and I can guarantee you we could get a beat in this church, and then somebody put a little fog out in the air, and my God, just make it sound like A C D C a little bit. Hells fell.

SPEAKER_02

Sure, sure. There you go, preaching.

SPEAKER_00

And you'll get excited.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you'll get the spirit.

SPEAKER_01

But you know what it is? It's a flesh excitement. It ain't no soul excitement, it's your flesh that's exciting.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Natural surface.

SPEAKER_00

But this music today, in the hearts of the people, this was soul music, not flesh music. There you go.

unknown

Very good.

SPEAKER_00

So the religious world has gotten, they've gotten the ability to know that they can get big crowds excited.

unknown

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Just put the right beat, just put the right fog and the right light shining down on people, and the next thing you know, here is men and women in the house of God standing, so they think, in the presence of God, with their breasts hanging out and their butts showing.

SPEAKER_02

Sure, sure, sure. Yeah, getting like a friend.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Jesus. My God, ain't that good music?

SPEAKER_07

Strange fire.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. We had it in our church one time. Who was it that met them people? Jessica. Jessica met them young men that came and sang in our church. Yeah, you guys met him. Yep. Well, this ain't picking on nobody. I'm just using this as an illustration. And they came in our church, remember that? And they sang and played for us in that church. My God, it was just nothing but flesh, was it?

unknown

Pretty much, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You know that in the middle of the night, I don't know what time it was, Brother Alex, God woke me up in bed and he told me to go out in the church, which was in the garage at that time. But it makes no difference if it's in a garage, a cathedral, or a school building where God's at, there's where his presence is at. Amen. He woke me up in the middle of the night, Brother Ronnie, and he said, Go out there and anoint all them chairs and anoint that church and pray that God will pray to me that I'll drive out all the spirit that they left. Yeah, he told you to go out and cleanse the church. Go out and cleanse the church. So I was obedient. I got up in the middle of the night and went out there and prayed and took some oil and anointed some things and said, God forgive me.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

God forgive me for letting that in to our congregation. See, a shepherd has to watch over the flock.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Because you take sheep, and sheep will just stand in one place, and wolves is coming, bears is coming, but they just got their head down and they'll chew in a certain spot till the grass won't even come back because they eat root and all.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes, yes. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

The shepherd has to move them every once in a while to a different grazing area. That's why, that's why the the men that raised goats hated sheep herders. Or shepherds, they hated them.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Because they would just destroy all the grass. Brother Solter said, one time you can take a parable, and if you're not careful, you become like a sheep. And you just eat and eat on it until you even ate the roots. The woman swept her house looking for a lost coin. And when she found it, she rejoiced. She found that last coin. Now the prune handle means something. And we gotta make something out of every bristle that was in the prune and the band that wrapped it around. My God, before you're over with, you've lost the whole parable. Don't overthink it. Overthinking things. I need to sit down. So it's um it's our walk in God that determines our appreciation for being in the house of God. You can't be living in fornication. You know what? I don't care if your mom, your brother, your sister, I don't care who tells you. If you live in fornication, you are cut off from God. That's filthy in the eyes of God to have sex before your marriage.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

That's filthy. Filthy. Some of you say, well, we've probably all done it, yeah, but we've all been saved from it, right?

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes.

unknown

Yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_00

We've all been saved from it. God was merciful with us. We've made a lot of blundering mistakes, haven't we? But God has showed mercy.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna say something, it might disturb you, but if you get disturbed, don't get disturbed with me because I can show it to you how God looks at things. You know why it's so important to marry somebody that loves God? Because if you marry somebody that doesn't love God, you've got a divided house.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And Jesus said a divided house will not stand. Amen. Now look at the mercy God has shown some. Marion, hoping and praying that your mate will turn their life to God. But if God was a merciful and wouldn't have turned that mate to God, brother, you got a life of hell on your hands if you want to serve God. Because if you want to serve God and he don't want to serve God, you've got a divided house. And my God, what a terrible situation that is. Amen. Yes. Hellish. Aren't you thankful, Alex, that God gave you a good wife?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Then wanted a child and couldn't have a child, and God says, Well, now that you found your family, that they can help you to raise Ada and help your marriage, I'm gonna give you a baby now.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Amen. It's awesome.

SPEAKER_00

Why did God wait? Because they could have got tied up in one of those megachurches and had a baby, and the baby and Ada and Alex is going to hell. What do you mean, going to hell? You don't, you can't find life outside of the true house of God. That's right. You can get excited, you can go and get a good feeling, you can go home, but guess what? Until you're rooted and grounded and established in God, usually the first wind that comes along, your seat's empty. Amen. So I was telling a dream that God let me go down this hallway, and we got to the end, and I looked to the left, and it was pure solid dark. Black is this microphone. And the other side had some light. And I said, Well, I'll go right. And a voice said, No, you're gonna go left. I thought, left? Why would I want to go left? And after I went left, honest to God, this is a God's truth from your pastor. My heart stopped for a moment. It was so dark that it scared me so bad that I thought my heart was going to stop because the darkness was so dark and gross dark that I almost passed out my dream. Do you know that the Bible says in the last days, darkness and gross darkness is going to come upon the face of the earth? We're looking at it.

SPEAKER_01

We're seeing it. This is gross darkness out there. This ain't light. This is dirt.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

So after I woke up, I asked the Lord, I said, My Lord, why did you make me go left? And he said, So that you would realize how precious my light is.

unknown

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

Praise God. If you've ever walked with him, if you've ever had conversations with him, if you've ever felt his joy, if you've ever felt this peace, if you've ever been anywhere on the mountain with him, you know you want to go back.

SPEAKER_02

So true. Oh God.

SPEAKER_00

You know you want to go back. There's nothing like it. Nothing like it. Bear with me for a moment. I want to give you these scriptures, and then I'm going to sit down. I want you to know. I want you to know that God is omnipotent and he's omnipresent and he's omniscient. That's the God you serve. He's omniscient. That means that He knows everything from the beginning to the end, like one divine thought as right now. He knows the future, he knows the past as one divine thought. I'll share this with you. For a long time I kept asking God, show me how I'm made in your likeness. You know when you're a child, you ask for childish things. And then the Bible says, when you grow up, you put childish things away. You know how many childish prayers I prayed for years while I was still a babe on milk? Lots of them. Lots of them. And that's alright. That's a part of the learning process. That's a part of growing up. I don't want to wear you out here today. But I want you to know that we got an omnipresent God.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

His spirit fills all of heaven and earth. Then somebody will say, well, if his spirit fills all heaven and earth, why ain't my neighbors? Why ain't my family? Why ain't this one and that one filling him? Because they don't want him. They don't want him. God ain't kicking nobody's doors down to serve him. Stand at the door and he knocks at every man, every woman's door. But guess what? He knocks, but he ain't a burglar. He don't kick the door open. When he knocks, he expects you to get up, hear the knock, and open the door. That's right. That's good. That's right. When God knocks, he knocks up here. When God convicts you, he convicts you up here. When you get under conviction, that's God knocking at the door.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Open your door. Let it come in. Let the same blood that saved you save you again. Hallelujah. Praise God. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

So I'd like you to just those of you that can write these scriptures down. God's an omnipresent, he's an omniscient God. So I asked God for weeks. Show me, God, how am I made in your image? Finally, one night in the still of the evening, nobody around. I'm sitting there with my Bible, and God says, Here's how you're made in my likeness. He said, Look around. I looked around in that little apartment. And he says, Can you see everything that your eyes can see? And I said, Yes, Lord. And he said, Listen. And about that time, a roaring car came up the road. He said, Can you hear that car? Yeah. I said, I hear it, Lord. He said, Go over there and feel and touch that washing machine. Can you feel that? I said, Yes, Lord. He said, You're a speck. You know, everybody needs to realize that we're a creature.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's true.

SPEAKER_00

Every one of us needs to realize that when we think we're all that in a bag of chips, we can't be nothing.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

We have to realize that we've got to get low enough and humble enough with God that only God can make us something. Only God can pull us up out of the muck and the mark. So I said, Yeah, Lord, what are you telling me? He said, Well, I created you with hearing. I created you with eyesight. I created you to be able to smell. I created you to be able to see. And you're just one little speck that I created. But magnify that trillions of times over. And that's who I am. Wow. Wow. Amen. Amen. Yes. He sees all things, hears all things, and knows all things. Here recently we've been talking about being transparent. You know when it says the streets of that city, New Jerusalem, and that ain't no literal city, folks. That's God's people that makes up New Jerusalem. That's right. It says that the streets are like gold and transparent. Gold is a deity of God. Everything that was in the holy place was made out of beaten gold. Everything in third heaven and the third heaven of the tabernacle was made out of gold. Yes. But guess why? That gold has to be beaten into form. It has to go through a process to get where it needs to go. That's why we're filling the heat that's in our lives right now. And the reason why is because God's got us in a process. He's exposing things in our nature. He's talking to us about our will and what we want out of life. You can't serve two masters. You'll love the one and hate the other. You can't love this world and love God at the same time. He that is a friend of the world is what? My best buddy. He's an enemy to God. For the things of this world don't want nothing to do with God. That's why the apostle Paul, and I know I'm, I don't want to wear you out, but that's why Paul said, if you be risen with Christ, how many of you have been saved? You know you've been saved. So he said, I don't really know if I'm saved, you're not saved. Come on. If you don't know you got saved, you're not saved. You get saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. You'll never forget that day when the blood touched your life.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

You'll never forget. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, well, does crying make me saved? No, no, no. Bank robbers cry when they're caught. You know you're saved when your life begins to change. And you don't do the things that you used to do. And you don't go the places that you used to go. And you don't talk the way that you used to talk. And you don't dwell on things that you used to dwell on. Your mind begins to change. Your desires begin to change. And your attitude definitely must change. What about the woman that the policeman pulled her over? About 70-something years old, bun on her head, all these I love Jesus stickers all over her car. Then somebody pulled out in front of her and she gave him that hot sign. The police pulled her over. And I said, Ma'am, we pulled you over. She said, Why'd you pull me over? Well, because of all these stickers, I love Jesus, I'm going to heaven. But we saw you give him the bird. We figured he was in a stolen car. Yeah. You know we can talk to talk, but it's when you can walk to walk.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_00

And you can't tell anybody to quit their habits as long as you're in the same habit. That's right, amen. Tell your children, don't smoke, it's bad on you. And there you are puffing on an RG dun.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, Well, smoking a little one. Yeah, you're damaging the temple. Come on. I'm going to let you go here in a minute, but it's a little sin.

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, why is it a little sin? Because you're defiling the temple that God's supposed to be living in. It's hurting the temple. And you're hurting your lungs.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, well, fornication, everybody's doing it. The whole world's doing everything. Does that mean if you jump off of a bridge, I'm going to jump with you? Jump alone.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not jumping with you. I'm not getting on this bandwagon that's everything's okay. No. I'm not going to preach that in this church. If that's the kind of church you want, go find you a Harling because you won't fit here.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. That's a fact. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

God's dead set against this world right now. He's fed up with this world. In Genesis, and I'm going to I no, I'm not going to say that no more. In Genesis, all you got to do is go read the 19th, I think, chapter of Genesis and figure out why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they were so filthy that the angels that God sent in the city, the men were so perverted that they wanted to know those angels.

SPEAKER_01

I don't mean know them, they wanted to know them.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And what did God do? He destroyed it.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And then what does Apostle Paul say? Because in the book of Romans, he said, because when they knew God they would not glorify God, God sent them vile affections. That they would leave the use of a woman and burn within themselves, men burning for other men, and women using the leaving the natural use of a man and burning within themselves, woman for woman. Vile affections. Yes, fire. Now you got it on the TV. You've got these people all over. Pills that they could that they created so you can stay in those vile affections.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

No homosexual, no lesbian, no tangender is going to heaven unless God changes it. You or I aren't going to heaven unless God changes us. God must change us. What's he changing? Our minds. Our feelings. Our way of looking at things. Praise God. Let me finish here. When you go home during the week or whenever you can, I'd like you to read, I'd like you to look at Hebrews 4 and 12. If I'm going too fast, tell me. Hebrews 4 and 12. 1 Chronicles 21 or 28 and 9. 1 Chronicles 28 and 9. I was going to go through these, but I got off got off on a limb. Proverbs 16 and 2. Jeremiah 17 and 10. 1 Kings 8 and 39. Jeremiah 17 and 10. 1 Kings 8 and 39. Psalms 34 and 15. These are scriptures that will tell you that God sees everything, knows everything. So if God sees everything and God knows everything, just like Hagai, you know who Hagai is in the Bible? Hagai was the Egyptian woman that Sarah talked her into going in and sleeping with Abraham and brought forth a son. And you know the story. Eventually Abraham had to put her on a, I don't know what he, if he put her on anything, but he got her a bag of groceries and told her that you and my son Ishmael. Ishmael must leave the camp and go out of the camp. That was God that told him to do that. But you know what happened? Hagar found out, uh Hagar, or was that her name? Hagar?

SPEAKER_02

Isaac Ishmael, Hagar, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Hagar, the Egyptian woman. Hagar found out that God was such a merciful God that when she was about to perish, God sent an angel to her. And so you know what Hagar said? I'm gonna call this God that watched me in this desert when I didn't even know nobody even knew about me. I'm gonna call him Elroy. God sees me.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

God's watching you and I when we sleep. God's watching you when we're in front of the television. God's watching you when you're at work. God's watching and hearing everything that we're doing. That's right. My God, I'm in trouble. No, you're not in real big trouble. It's just that you've got to let God begin to put the fire in your life to purge you from the things that he is showing you that causes you to lose fellowship with him. Yes, Jesus. Yeah. That's good. And so those scriptures I gave you will show you, and you'll study them, you'll look at them. You know, it's really, I don't want to rebuke anybody, but sometimes a man of God has to just tell it like it is. Now, if I've asked you to go home and read these scriptures, and you're and you believe that I'm your pastor and your overseer, and you don't go home and look at one of them scriptures, what do you think God thinks about that?

SPEAKER_02

Not pleasing.

SPEAKER_00

Not pleasing, Nicolas. I send you, brethren, a message on the phone to look at this, and I won't even ask how many of you looked at it, because I know a lot of you wouldn't look at it. How's God look at that? Well, God either gives you a minister that leads and guides you, or you're just off on your own. And God don't reveal all of his secrets to everybody. He keeps his secrets to his prophets. And without a vision from the prophets, my people perish.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

They perish. Aren't you thankful to God? I'm so thankful that I've not ever given up on God.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody says, have you ever wanted to give up on God? Are you kidding me? Everybody wants to give up on God sooner or later. If you're in the fight.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But if you're not in the fight, no problem. No war.

SPEAKER_05

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_00

If you're not in a warfare, chances are you've sheared your conscience. Are you in a warfare?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm in a warfare every time they put some ungodly lustful woman on the TV. I'm in a warfare.

SPEAKER_00

Really, Brother Connell? Yes, really. When I go to the grocery store, the way that these women are undressed, I'm in a warfare. Every man that flips me off, I'm in a warfare. Every neighbor that gets on my nerves, I'm in a warfare. Everybody that gets under my skin, I'm in a warfare.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

What's your warfare? To do the right thing, regardless of what anybody else does, I will be rewarded by my Father in heaven by doing the right thing. But if I go and do the same thing, then yang y-oh, I got your number. Sure. Yeah. Just fix everything that troubles you. You fix everything that troubles you and you have no way to grow.

SPEAKER_04

That's very true.

SPEAKER_00

It's quiet in here.

SPEAKER_04

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

I'm giving you the keys to the kingdom.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You're gonna miserably fail. You're gonna lose your spirit. I was all spiritual today. I came out of the garage spiritual. And I stepped on the cat's tail and lost my religion. Ginger has a problem of getting in front of you. And every step you take, you gotta tell her, get going. And then she'll go down and then get going. And by the time you're at the end of the step, you're ready to kick her to get going. Especially if she got an urge. And she's in the way. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know a cat can be a candle of the Lord?

SPEAKER_00

Let alone a man or a woman being a candle of the Lord, searching what? The inward parts of my life. So I come out of the garage, Jay, spiritual. And I go down and go down the steps and I step on her tail. And she lets out a scream. And I said, You miserable dumb cat, you. Yeah. And I thought, oh God, don't understand. Least you fall. Yeah. Come out of that realm and step on a cat's tail and lose that good spirit and tell her she's a stupid idiot and get down to steps. Very good, though. So genuine and true. And so what are you saying, Brother Connell? I'm saying that everything that comes in our life, God can use it for his good. That's right. God can use it for his good. Poor Jason. Sister Connell got the best of him and talked him into taking two cats. He's at work and I watch him in the window. Jason's coming home pretty soon. You know this old softie. You know, at one time I didn't care about cats. But there's something about God that as he starts to work in your clay, I'm gonna close with this. You know that if you're a child of God right now, you're on the potter's wheel. Amen. Man, I can feel the Lord in that. Praise God. You know what he's doing? He's putting pressure on you, but it's because he loves you that. He's got to get all the wrong, all the sticks, all the stones out of your clay, all of the bitterness. If you're in this church and you're still holding on to bitterness, my God, you're in the belly of the well.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Sure. If you're in this church and you're jealous and you're full of strife, don't say that that's the wisdom of God. That's devilish wisdom. James said the wisdom of God is first pure, easily to be entreated, full of mercy, full of kindness. But the wisdom of man is sensual, devilish, jealous, envious. So what wisdom are we of? Unfortunately, we got both wisdoms. And God's trying to get rid of one to let the other one stay.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

To let the other one stay. Well, I guess I said enough. But uh I'll say this before I sit down. We had a very strange meeting two Sundays ago. And that is, is it in that special kind, loving service, God spoke to your pastor and said, From this night on, you have an elder in the church, another elder. Somebody said, Well, I've been around as long as he's been around. Look, I'm not the one that calls these men. I'm just the ones that recognize, I'm the one that recognizes that they've been called. Amen. Jack, you went and uh took a test, didn't you? A welding test. And you told me the instructor had to watch you. You know that instructor knew whether you were a welder or not right away.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

God knows who we are. Somebody said, Well, I want to be used. Well, desire to be used, but just remember if you're desiring a position in the church, your process is different.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_00

It's different. God will expect more out of you than the rest. Because you're to be an example under the flock. You're not to come in here and drag your feet. You're always to be on a positive level with God. You're never to give a bad report to the sheep. You're always to love them regardless of how much they get on your nerves. Has Ezra ever got on your nerves? Well, we know so. Because all children can get on your nerves. Now, Ada, I don't know, that little thing, she got some kind of special little spirit on her. I don't know if she even knows how to get on your nerves. She does. Oh, there's the father. He spoke up. She knows. She knows how to get on your nerves.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, just wait a while.

SPEAKER_00

AJ know how to get on your nerves? Yeah, sure. You know. Or if she hasn't, she will. But guess what? Where was I going with that so I can get down from here? What is it, brother? Loving the people. So that mother and father, even though Ezra has kept them up night and day, is getting better now, thank God. You know, I was in a meeting one time, and you know how old Pentecost? Old Pentecost used to thank God for everything. The preachers had a certain way to preach. You might remember this, Jason. And the Lord said, Oh, and God bless, oh yeah. Hallelujah. They put all these fillers in there. Well, back in the 70s, men used to say, Bless God for everything. Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Man got up one time and he said, My mother-in-law and my brother-in-law and her grandma got in an accident. Praise God. She broke her leg, hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

My brother-in-law almost got decapitated, thank God.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Them brethren got to laughing. Everybody was trying to hold their laughter down. But you know what that was? That was a Babylonianist preacher that came among us with things that had been taught. Praise God. Hallelujah. She almost got her leg cut off. Yeah. When you come to the body of Christ, God begins to refine you.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, refine you.

SPEAKER_00

He begins to show us how to let the Spirit of God move and not scare people to death. He begins to let the Spirit of God move in our lives, and it moves in such a way that it's done in decently in order.

unknown

Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Boy, I've been in some Pentecostal churches. No wonder Pentecostal got a bad name. Women over here dancing around, and the men get right in them. And before you know it, they're in the spirit with one eye open. They're body bumping each other and saying that that's all the spirit of God. No, that's the spirit of the flesh. And if there is any, God you taminated it. That's why our brethren get over here. And our sisters usually come over here. What's that all about, Brother Connell? It's because we're still human. And we need to recognize that and do things in decently and order in the house of God.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

And then not everybody should be praying for you. Especially the sisters. I don't care how many of you, brethren, pray for each other. I don't care if you get each other down and wraps leave each other around. But when it comes to praying for the sisters, leave that up to the ones that's appointed. How come, Brother Connell? Because I have watched dirty spirited men. You know a man knows another man just like a woman knows another woman.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

You know what? I'll bet you with uh I'll bet you to till tomorrow that every woman in here can detect a flirty spirit.

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_00

Really? Absolutely. Every man in here can detect a dirty spirit in another man. Somebody say, well, what do I do if I got a dirty spirit? Get washed up.

SPEAKER_03

That's it. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Just go to the Lord, no matter how many times you gotta go. Go to the Lord and get washed up.

SPEAKER_02

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_00

What if I'm a woman that's been serving God for 50 years, but I still like to flirt? Get that flirty spirit out of your life. Ask God to deliver you from a flirty spirit. Because you're not gonna do it on your own. You've tried. It's gonna take God. And that's, and I'm gonna close, I know I say that, but that's one of the reasons why we gotta have a holy sanctuary and a holy group of people here that's not lusting after one another and not letting everything go on under the sun.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Huh? If your wife comes up for prayer, Brother Luke, don't you want to know that Sister Tina is getting prayer from a man of God that doesn't have an unclean spirit?

unknown

Right, amen.

SPEAKER_00

That Houston Church, one of the big churches that was under the group of men that I was under. Hundreds of men in that church, and notes started coming forth out of the congregation. We need prayer, brother Wright, but we don't feel comfortable coming up there anymore because all the men are laying their hands on us, and some of them are unclean.

SPEAKER_02

Sure, sure.

SPEAKER_00

And Brother Wright addressed the church.

unknown

Sure did.

SPEAKER_00

He addressed it. And so when sisters come for prayer, get the proper people to pray for them. We had an old man in the church, 80 years, and had the Holy Ghost for 50 years, and he still had such an unclean spirit that, honest to God, he would go around and he lusted after my grandchildren. He lusted after the other women in the church. I felt sorry for him, but never once did I ever see him recognize that he had an unclean spirit. The unclean spirit had a trick. That he didn't have a you know what old that old man used to do? Wear your curse, here.

SPEAKER_01

Let me put my hand in.

SPEAKER_00

No man of God's got any business putting your hand on a woman on her belt. That's right. No man of God has no right to put his hand on her chest. Amen. There's nothing that God needs other than you to say in Jesus' name.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Very good.

SPEAKER_00

Peace and be a woman that serves God and loves God and don't do things that tempt the opposite sex. Be a man that loves God and don't do anything that would defile your sister's mind. And you know, I'm gonna close. The cunning craftiness of the devil can do things that's so deceitful that it takes a trained eye of a person, man or woman that's got enough God in their life to see what that devil's doing.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. I've had uh I've prayed for women before, and honestly, God, I I felt like they wouldn't let go of my hand. Sure. Now don't get all disturbed over what I'm saying. But but when a woman comes up and says, pray for me, yes. You pray for her and then she goes, Sorry covering your hand. Sure. Look out!

SPEAKER_02

Look out.

SPEAKER_00

Somebody said, I ain't never heard nothing like this preach in the church because you've never been in the body of Christ. Oh God, aren't you thankful for a covering? Yes, aren't you thankful that God's watching over us? Yes, aren't you thankful that God's helping us? I'd hate to be you, Jack. I'm serious. Yeah. In the day and age that we live in, girls are so promiscuous that it used to be the boy had to go and make an acquaintance with the girl.

SPEAKER_01

Now the girl just dumps it right on you.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And Jackson, nice looking young man.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Now he makes big money.

SPEAKER_00

He's got a truck. That's right. And my goddamn tires that catches the eyes of everybody. And there's young women out there. And he's got a job. That's right. Most of the bums in our nation will work.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

He's a rarity. Good man. Nineteen years old, is it? That is, brother. Good young man. Nineteen years old, got a good paying job, got a nice truck with big tires.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Serving God.

SPEAKER_00

And serving God. And you know what they are? They're out there sharpening their claws.

SPEAKER_01

Man, I wish I could get my hands on Jack.

SPEAKER_00

Security. Don't do it. I'll have a home one day. He's a worker. All the bums I've been with, they want one thing. And once they get it, you are a filthy dishwater rag.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

They've defiled you. Don't let no man defile you. Don't let no young girl defile you, Jack. You know why? Because it takes the body to commit fornication. And when two people lay down with each other and they are intimate with one another, and they have no intentions, are married and not going to get married and aren't married, you're a fornicator. You're cut off from God.

unknown

Yes, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

Until you make it right. I'll close with this thought. Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of beans. And he was also called a fornicator. You know why he was called a fornicator? Because he had two Canaanite women as wives. You know God ain't gonna let my granddaughters marry outside the faith. And the faith ain't a Catholic, and the faith ain't a Baptist, and the faith ain't a Methodist.

SPEAKER_01

The faith is the faith that God's given us.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

Be careful, Jack. My granddaughters, be careful.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_00

Be careful, every young person. Marry right. Somebody says, Well, I don't think I'm ever gonna get married. I'm gonna be an old maid. No, you're not. But find out if God even wants you married. God's got something to do with your marriage. He might not want you to get married. There might be a reason for you not to get married. But if you're not led by God, you'll never find out what the reason is. But in closing, I want to see our church holy.

unknown

Holy.

SPEAKER_00

I want to see our church living right. I want to see our church having the Spirit of God in her life. Not just on Sunday, but every day, pressing to have God's Spirit in their lives.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. This has been a good monumental service, hasn't it? Praise the Lord. And so those scriptures I gave you, I hope that you'll read them. Hope you'll realize that God's an all-seeing eye, all-hearing ear. And as all God's doing with this little flock, is he showing us ourselves. Showing us ourselves. I don't like what I see all the time, Luke. Luke touched my heart. Is this okay if I say this? He said he's standing over there, last service. Look at how God's working among his sheep here.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

And he said, I just felt like I seen walls all around me. Is that right? And he said, he said, if somebody gets up and talks about a wall, I'm gonna say something. I know what you should say, Brother Luke. I thank God I found my mom.

unknown

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

I thank God that I found the people of God. Because I got up, not even knowing, I spoke about a wall. That's God all day. So God's a He's such a good God, a loving God. And if Luke would like to say something, I'm I'll sit down. But I just appreciate God. Don't you appreciate the Stanley family?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

What about Tim and Loretta?

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You're not supposed to say their age, but you know when you get our age right, Sister Rolette. We don't care about that anymore, do we? Get a certain age and you are what you are. But don't you thank God that here, 70 years old, and God brings them into a church that can get them prepared for a final resurrection, if not the bride. Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

How about God bringing people 500 and something miles and to get Brother Michael to come, he's got to show him a pell horse riding across the street. Very good. And a vision. Very good.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah. Do you know how you got here?

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

You got here by the God of heaven, drawing you to the cross. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_00

And then ain't nothing only leave you out in Babylon, he brought you to the body of Jesus Christ. Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. Thanks for listening to me. I had a lot more to say, but I always have a big cup to say. But thank you for listening to me. Thanking you. Thank you for coming to the house of God today on such a beautiful day. Thank you for showing God that the kingdom means more to you than your pleasures in this life.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God.

SPEAKER_00

God bless you. Gospel Truth Assembly said, Amen. Amen. Amen. And have a good evening.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God.
