SPEAKER_01

Well I'll just raise uh rise to my feet and take us to the Lord in prayer. I'd like to say to the church that we certainly appreciate all your prayers and your concern for the family with uh my mother uh in the condition that she's in. Uh I think we're at the point now to where if God would just let her go, it would be his mercy and grace. And so uh Sister Connell has been with her for the last several days, uh, all night long, all day long. And uh it's something that she's doing on my behalf. Um and I appreciate her willingness to do that. I I didn't have to pressure her to do it, I didn't have to beg her to do it. The love that she has for my mother, she's been there with her, and I know my mom appreciates it. And we appreciate all the visitors that came. I've warned everybody, though, that uh if you come, be prepared that you're not gonna see uh the woman that you saw a year ago. Uh, you're gonna just see a shell of who she was. But the good thing about all this is that my mother has known the Lord and had the baptism of the Holy Ghost in her life for many, many years. And even through all the trials and the tests that life can bring, the ups and the downs, she has never gave up her faith in God. And that's what will bring her forth out of the memory of God in a final resurrection. I know that sounds strange to the religious world, but believe you, I know what I'm talking about. That God will bring my mother forth. And so I'm thankful to know that. That's a comfort. If my mother did not know God, I'd be a very, very sorrowful man today. Um but I think I was more sorrowful when my brother passed than any death I've ever seen in my whole life. I was more sorrowful for my brother. And the reason being is because I'm not sure where he stood with God. And because you can get so far from God in this life right now that you can blot your name out of the book of life. Yes. That's uh that's biblical, and it's uh it's an understanding that God has given to us that we know that people can drift so far from God that they can blot their name out. Esau's a perfect example. He blotted his name out with God. And he blotted it out over a bowl of beans, and he was a fornicator because he married outside the will of God. He married two Canaanite women, and God called him a fornicator for that. But here we are today, and we got a wonderful opportunity to praise the Lord today. We have a wonderful opportunity to bring God more into our life today. That's what I want. More and more and more of Jesus. As my years is running out, uh, I feel like God's been uh doing some tuning in my life that I never knew that I need tuned in. God finds areas in your life that you don't even know needs tuned up. And he has a He has a wonderful way about doing it. Sometimes it ain't always so pleasant, but nevertheless, it yields forth what God wants from our life.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

And so what we have to be willing to do with God is to constantly remind ourselves that he's the potter and we're the clay. And if we don't remember that we're the clay, we might fight against the potter. But the potter has the ability to make the clay anything he wishes to make it. And so Jeremiah had to be taught that when God sent him to the potter's house. And uh he saw the potter taking his hands and forming the clay the way that the potter wanted it to be. We're clay in the hands of our God, and he's the potter, and he's a great potter, and he knows exactly what each and every one of our vessels need. So trust in him, folks.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Don't let nothing back you up, don't let nothing take you out of the race, don't let nothing in this life take your walk, your walk away from God. There's nothing in this ungodly world that can even begin to phantom what God's got in store for each and every one of us to love him. The problem is, is we've got to finish the course. The Bible speaks of that, don't it? I'm not gonna preach, but the the Bible speaks of that. Uh, he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. Well, that doesn't go along with what the preachers are preaching today. They say that you've already got it made as soon as you give your life to the Lord. You've got it made. Well, that don't fit with what Jesus said that you gotta endure. What are you enduring? You're enduring all kinds of things. You know, when I look back on my life, I've had to endure all kinds of things. The first little Pentecostal church I was in, I had to endure about 40 people trying to kill me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They hung me out to dry. And it was over truth. Yes. It was over God giving me like a hundred dreams, and finally I got so uh to the point with God that I was just willing to just speak what he told me to speak. But sometimes when you speak for God, you always, or sometimes you're not always gonna get a great audience. You're not going to get uh uh what you wish you would get back because the truth sometimes hurts. But before I take us to the Lord in prayer, um uh we're gonna pray, and then Brother Alex said he had a little something on his mind, so we're gonna let him come forth before the music. And then I'd like to say this that uh I know last service, and being that we're only in one service a week, it makes it a little difficult here lately and always really, that we got so used for all those 14 or 13 years of having two services that come into church once a week, it almost it's almost like a lifetime before we're back in church again. There's such a gap between each Sunday that it gives the enemy a lot of time there to roam around and try to get our thought patterns off of God. And so I'm thankful that everyone is holding on to God. And um, when I said that endure to the end, I've had to endure a whole lot of things in my life. Uh I'm enduring something right now with the passing of my mother. But uh but the one thing that I know is the hope that I have is that my mother has, is that she'll come forth. And so we endure all kinds of things. If you're gonna live for God, we have to remember what Jesus said. Every man and woman that will serve me shall suffer persecution. That's right. Yes. You're going to suffer some things. It might come from family, it might come from friends that you've had all your life. I had tons of friends when I was in the world. When I gave my life to the God, the 160 men that said that they'd go anywhere that I would go and they'd fight for me in any place I wanted to fight, they was no longer to be found. And because light separates itself from darkness. And you have to watch who you communicate with, you have to watch who you associate yourself with, because everything that we associate ourselves with, somehow, some way, if we're not girded up and strong enough, it'll pull you down somewhere. So be aware of your surroundings, especially in the world that we're living in. And before we go to the Lord in prayer, I wanted to say this that I was awful strong last Sunday on the spirit of a of um of uh homosexuality and uh and the uh things that's going on in our world right now. But as a man of God, if I don't get strong against it, then possibility there might be some that will question whether God will accept that. That's right. And so I have to stand firm. And I'm gonna let the church know today you got a pastor that will be here until my last breath.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And everything I say, you might not like it, and we have witnesses around here, but if you will consider and pray about the things your pastor has to say, and if I'm right, God will show you that I'm right.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And then even if I'm wrong, watch how you reach out against the man of God. That's right. David had a wonderful revelation when he said, Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. Do you know that that saved him when he needed the mercy of God in such a great way with the fault that he fell into with Bathsheba? God remembered the mercy that he had on Saul. We've got a God that's full of mercy. If it wasn't for God's mercy, I'd never be standing here today. That's right. And I know I know this much that I am never going to throw stones. And the reason being is that I still have things in my life that God's still working on. And if I'm in a glass house, I don't want you throwing rocks at me.

unknown

That's right, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And so I'm not gonna throw rocks at you. That's good. That's what God really wants. Yes, in the finality of it all, I'm not going to stand in front of you, and you're not gonna stand in front of me. We're going to stand in front of God. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. That's right. We'll all give an account.

SPEAKER_01

We'll all give an account for every deed that we've ever done in the body, this body. And then also Jesus said, Watch even every idle word.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

For every idle word shall be judged. So I appreciate, I don't know how many of us read those scriptures that I gave out, uh, but I do know that we've got a God that's an all-seeing eye, an all-hearing ear. And when you look at our magnificent God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and you look through a telescope, or you look on the TV, or you see a program, my God, what a God we have. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. That's right. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

On a planet spinning a thousand miles an hour, and some days there's not even a breeze, five oceans kept in their basin by him, and the God of heaven can stop the sun or the earth on its axes and keep the sun in the sky for a battle to be won that he once won. He's gonna keep everything in place for us to win this battle.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah. I believe it. Just don't get off the boat.

SPEAKER_04

Do you believe it? Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

And if the boat gets to rocking, wake him up. Amen. Wake him up.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

Those apostles, those disciples, that had faith, and I didn't haven't attained yet. But yet when the ship got to rockin', they said we're gonna perish. And Jesus said, What are you talking about? I got control over everything.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. Praise the name of the Lord. You got a God that can do anything he wishes to do. And if you ask for the right things, he'll keep no good thing from you.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. Praise God. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Some people get foolish with that and ask for Cadillacs and mansions. Well, that ain't what God said. And so, if I got a little stern about homosexuality, let me make uh perfectly clear. I love every man and woman that's got the breath of life in them. Yes. But those men and women that's been caught up in that abominable sin, they have to change. No one with that sin will ever stand in the presence of God. And if you want me to prove it, I'll take 20 minutes with the Bible, and you'll never doubt it again if you got ears to hear.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

So if they'd ever come in and we're gonna get them.

SPEAKER_07

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

They're marching. They'll find us sooner or later. Oh, yeah. When we got a building that God's preparing for us, and he is getting us ready for a building, he's getting us ready, and you don't even know it. Yes. He's working on the foundation of this church. We're only gonna be as strong as the foundation. Oh God. And then on top of that, every $17, every week out of your pocket, he's preparing you to be financially fit to pay for a building.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Ain't that the wisdom of God? Amen. If you're already given $17 every Sunday, well then I think we don't want to go into that, but Brother Michael done such a wonderful job when he uh uh spoke to the church. If you figure it all up and we have to get a low, we got to get alone, we're we're doing that right now.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And so God's used some wisdom. You know, God tricks us sometimes. He's got methods that we don't even know about. And so he says, Well, uh, you didn't do what's right by preaching tithing and offering, but I'll just trump you, Ken.

SPEAKER_04

That's what you can do, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

And I'll put us in a building, and everybody will have to put into the kitty to keep the uh keep the schoolhouse going until I give you the building.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

He's wise. Sure is. It ain't gonna be like you're ripping your pockets open when we get the building. You're already paying for a building. Amen. Praise God. And so forgive me if I get strong at times. It's just that I have a love for God that I don't want anybody to soil what God's doing. He's a holy, righteous God.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, he is.

SPEAKER_01

And that no man or woman will ever see God without holiness. Amen. Holiness. And you know where holiness starts? It ain't here. It ain't here, it's right smack dab up here.

SPEAKER_04

Right there, that's right.

SPEAKER_01

And I'll say this, we'll go to the Lord in prayer and let Alex say what's on Alex's mind. And that is this when God gave the clothing for the high priest, he told Moses, he said, You see fit that you make one band of gold and you put it on the forehead of the high priest. And I want inscribed into that band that went around his forehead, holiness to the Lord. And that's where holiness starts. It starts right here in our thinking. Everything that we do comes from a seed of thought. There you go.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And seeds are like vehicles, they take you places. One thought in the morning can wreck your whole day, except you know how to eject it.

SPEAKER_06

There you go. There it is. There you go.

SPEAKER_01

If uh if a pilot shot down, thank God they invented the injection button. He just reaches over and pushes a button and out he goes. But without that, he'd go down with the plane, wouldn't he?

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

God's given us an injection button up here that we know when a thought comes in and it begins to trouble your soul, and there's nothing you can do about it, you're foolish.

unknown

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That's right. That's good.

SPEAKER_01

That's foolishness.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

I used to sit around and worry, fret over what the saints was doing. All kinds of things bombarded me, never no peace, no rest, until finally God spoke to me one day after sobbing and crying, and he said, Are you the father of spirits, Ken? I'll never forget it. It's in my Bible. I wrote it down. I said, No, Lord. And in the still of that church, that building, that garage, he said, well then.

unknown

Yes. Powerful.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know how much revelation is in that well then?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, very powerful.

SPEAKER_01

It goes deep, deep, deep. That here's what he really meant. Why would you trouble yourself? Why would you carry on the way you're carrying on when you can't add one cubit to one of my children? You can't change one hair on their head, and yet you're going to sit here and sob and carry on like you got the power to do something that I can't even do.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yep. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Think about it.

SPEAKER_04

Yep, think about it.

SPEAKER_01

Think about that. I'm giving you a big nugget of gold today. Yes, yes. If worrying would change things, then let's just take the next two and a half hours and sit here and don't do nothing but worry. Yep. That's it. It's true.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. You like that. You know what we're gonna have at the end of the service? A pot full of nothing. And you know when you begin to worry too much, you're actually telling God, I don't trust you properly.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. That's it. That's true. Yep. True. Break the chains.

SPEAKER_01

You know, the older I get, the more I realize that my life is set like flint as long as I hold on to the one that called me. Amen. Praise God. And you're not gonna find preachers anymore that want to preach the unadulterated word of God. They're too worried about their Mercedes bins and their mansions of gold.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And when you become a hireling, you become a puppet. Yes, yes. And if I never say anything else, which maybe I will, remember this one thing. What got Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden is when Adam began to hearken unto his wife.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

When Adam began to hearken unto his wife, he chose his wife over God.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_01

And the Bible says that Adam wasn't deceived. He willfully gave in to the voice of his wife. But it says that Eve was deceived by the serpent. My question is: if it took a serpent in the garden to deceive Eve, who to say it, who deceived Satan?

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Oh, that's good. That's good. That's very good. Yeah, there you go. That's fresh.

SPEAKER_01

If it took an outside force to make Eve sin, then what was the outside force that caused this so for this so-called Lucifer to rebel and take a third of the heavenly host? Where was his adversary?

unknown

That's good. There you go.

SPEAKER_04

That's very good. Praise God right there. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Brother, this little church has got so much tuning in.

unknown

Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. When it starts rolling out and the multitudes come in, you better keep their seat. Yes. But somebody wants it. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise God. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

And so when you look at what God's given us, yes. We're not all mixed up and torn up about a burning hell somewhere. One day, when we're in the proper setting, I'll give you the things that I've given the beginners here. And you'll rejoice.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. That our God isn't the monster that they make him out of.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

I'll give you a nugget before I sit down and go to the Lord in prayer. In the day that thou eatest of that tree, Adam, thou shalt surely die, go to hell, and burn forever and ever.

SPEAKER_06

No, no, not what it says.

SPEAKER_01

Right from the beginning, we can tear that theory up. God told Adam, In the day that you eat of that tree, Adam, thou shalt surely die, and from dust I made you, and dust thou shalt return.

SPEAKER_04

That's it.

SPEAKER_01

Yet he brought the whole human family under a curse. He goes back to the grave. But me, if I don't straighten up, I burn forever and ever. There ain't no logic or righteousness in that. Doesn't line up. Don't line up at all. Thank you, Lord. Then the God of heaven tells me to forgive my enemies 70 times seven, and yet he's gonna burn his forever and ever. That's another one that doesn't make no sense. And when you look at what God, the penalty of death, is absolutely enough. To never exist again after having this life, brother, I love life. I'm 75 years old. But guess what? I'd like to reach that point where henceforth, grave, where's my victory? Where is that? Oh, where's the sting of death? Oh, grave, where's your victory? I've got the ability and the truth and the house in the middle of the holy in the house, not made by praise God, praise God, praise God, but I gotta conduct myself right. I gotta live right. Yes, Jesus. This ain't a free ride. That's right. The little word if and by stops all that foolishness.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

You have eternal life if I if you mortify the deeds done in the body.

SPEAKER_04

That's it. Praise his holy name. That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_01

I could preach, but I better move over. But you know, I'm so thankful to God that I'm on such a solid foundation. I can listen to all this Babylonious garbage. They can just line the tables up with vomit and thank God I know what I know, and there's nothing that I will drink that will bring any harm to me because I'm settled, I'm established, I've been rooted, I've been grounded.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

That's what the ministry is for love God's people. Pull the birds out of God cheap when need be. But be kind, be loving, be an overseer.

SPEAKER_04

Oh God.

SPEAKER_01

Know that everybody's human and we're all altar! With all the towel! Get back, God!

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

You've got to understand the Holy Name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

God will never throw it in the towel on you. Praise God. You'll have to throw it in. Then he'll even try to get you to pick it back up. Yes, Jesus. But aren't you glad that we got a God that sees everything?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

You know that you and I, we might not completely understand that, what I'm about to say, but we're as transparent as a glass in a window.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

With God, we're totally transparent. He sees every motive, every action, every deed, and all that he can see and all that he can do. He keeps on being patient with us as we see ourselves.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God. Praise the Lord. Amen. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

And if he loved you, he will put a mirror in front of you. Praise God.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

And Lord. Praise God. I've seen so many ugly things about myself.

SPEAKER_03

Jesus too, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

But yet he just keeps on loving me.

SPEAKER_03

Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

He keeps on loving me.

unknown

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

And I don't need to have a lean to anymore. I don't have to have him talking on my shoulder every day.

SPEAKER_07

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

There's enough done in my life that if he wants to leave me alone for a while, not that he'll ever leave me alone, but he just doesn't have to keep my training wheel spinning.

SPEAKER_04

There you go. Jesus. There you go. Thank you for the word, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

He doesn't have to always hold me as I'm learning to ride.

SPEAKER_03

There you go.

SPEAKER_01

I'll never forget. I've shared it with the church. When my brother was born with a clapped lung, living in the foothills of Kentucky, nothing around. I spent years, five years of my life in the woods with a collie dog and a BB gun. But all the experiences that I had as a boy, seven years old, and God spoke to me for the first time when I shot at a thousand sparrows, never hit a one, and finally the BB gun struck one of those little sparrows in them woods. And when I reached over and picked it up, that sparrow was batting its little eyes, and immediately condemnation hit my spirit. I felt so bad for shooting that little sparrow. And a voice spoke to me. The first time I ever heard the voice of my Savior. He said, My eyes upon the sparrow, Ken.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

I ran in the house and told my mom. And my mom said, Mark it down, Ken. This is the first time God spoke to you. It wasn't long after that, my mother came down with pneumonia. She was very sick. We wasn't rich by any means. When you eat oats for three months without milk or sugar three times a day, you know you're not rich. My grandmother one time sent $20, and we thought was in heaven. And I thought to myself all day, no oats tonight. She went to the grocery store in an old 51 Ford that my dad had. That he had to get oil out of the uh out of the gas stations, use motor oil, and put in it because it smoked like a freight train. You know, I would not trade my childhood for anything because it's your childhood. It's a way that you're raised up that molds your character.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen. That's right, I believe God.

SPEAKER_01

Raise your children in the house of God and put the emphasis on the kingdom over everything.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

Because everything else other than the kingdom, it's just fugal. It's here today and gone tomorrow. It's all temporal. No matter how much money you stack up, no matter how many homes you got, no matter how many cars you got, when it's all said and done, none of that is gonna get you where you need to be. God is gonna examine your spirit and find out if you're ready for eternity or not.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

And so I'll never forget it. Mom took the $20. God bless her heart. Being the oldest, I suffered along with my mother with a lot of things. My sister doesn't even remember being in Kentucky. My brother Brad wasn't born, and my brother Dale was just an infant. And so I remember the day that my grandmother wrote my mom a letter and said I had such a tremendous burden that God put it on my heart to send you this $20. Well, $20 when I was a little boy, which was 70 years ago. Yeah, sure. Boy, that sounds terrible. You know, when I was about seven or six or seven, whatever I was, twenty dollars back then bought you a couple big bags of groceries. Twenty dollars now gets you a loaf of bread, possibly, and a gallon of milk.

SPEAKER_04

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Talk about oppressing the poor.

SPEAKER_04

That's it. That's true.

SPEAKER_01

We're being oppressed. And God's watching how we handle it. He's watching how we handle it. So my mother that day went to the grocery store and she bought that great big pack of round sausage. You know how they wrap it around? Yes, put it in a pack and then put foil around it and stuff. You know what, Ansley? My mouth was watering. Eat oats for three months, night and day. Just a bowl of oats and no milk, no sugar, no nothing. Just a bowl of oats. That's right. And you see a pork chop. That's right. You ever seen that cartoon where pork chops start going off, you know? Yeah, yeah. That was me. Yeah. And so she stopped in and went in to pay half the rent. I think she took $10 for the sausage and bread or whatever, and she's gonna go in and give Stefan, our landlord that owned the home was living in, $10 on the rent. Lo and behold, she left the back door open. And their big collie dog that gave birth to my collie that I had for years in the woods, that that mama collie jumped in that back seat. I tried to grab a hold of the saucy galaxy, and she got it before I got it. I pulled and she pulled and she won. And she took that sausage out of that back seat and she gulloped it down. And when my mom came out, I'll never forget the look on her face when she seen that dog eating the last of that sausage. She started crying. And I got out of the back seat and I said, Mom, please don't cry. It'll be alright. But I ate oats that night. But you know, I wouldn't trade any of that. If you never know what it is to be down and out, you'll never have no mercy on nobody. That's true.

SPEAKER_04

That's true, amen.

SPEAKER_01

You have to have experiences that uh that molds our character. But to make a long story short, I'll never forget the night, and it was in autumn, it was very cold, my brother had a uh a collapsed lung, and about 1.30 in the morning, my mother was out working as a car hop in a little restaurant. That's the job that she could only get. And she depended upon her tips and stuff. And so she was working until like 2.30 or something in the morning. My dad woke me up, seven years old. Back to the other story, and then I will move out of the way. I seen I seen great things when I was a boy, and they helped establish me and my faith towards God. When my mother was sick with pneumonia, and I mean she was very, very sick, she couldn't even get up out of the bed. That night as a little boy, after God had done spoke to me a few times, I had enough faith that at seven years old I began to cry out to my God, and I said, God, would you heal my mom? And as sure as I'm standing here, I would not lie to you. God sent an angel in that house in Kentucky. I saw a white horse with a knight with a Sir Lancelot pole, and he was in full armor, and he galloped down in front of my bedroom and went left into my mom's bedroom, and that night, God of heaven breathed down in my mother's lungs, and she was healed instantly of everything that was going on.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I believe that. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Now, God didn't give me that to keep to myself. I'm sharing it with you. You've got a mighty God. As long as you walk upright, even if you falter, he'll pick you back up.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

And so, uh not long after that, the coal oil stove runs out. Dad wakes me up at 1, 1.30 in the morning, and he gives me this pep talk. You know God's gotta give us a pep talk once in a while. Yeah. Don't y'all need a pep talk once in a while?

SPEAKER_05

Oh, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

Every team that ever plays needs a good coach once in a while to give them a pep talk. And so, uh, I know I've been up here a while. But I love to share these things with you. That's what God gives us this staff that we got, so that we can share with each other what God's done for me, he can do for you.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Don't we sing a song once in a while? What he's done for me, he can do for others.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

And so what God can do for one, he can do for all. And we're all children of God. If you've given your life to the Lord and been baptized, you're a child of God. Now, what we do with our walk with God is solely up to us because he doesn't want no robots. He's given us a will to choose to love him over the things that my flesh wants. And so he woke me up and he started. Now, Ken, you know you're the oldest. I thought he's half asleep. Yeah, Dad, what's going on? Well, the coal oil furnace has run out of coal oil, and your brother cannot get cold because he's got a collapsed lung. Now you're gonna have to be, as the oldest, you're gonna have to get up out of bed, Ken, and you're gonna have to walk down to Gagels, which is about a mile and a half through the woods, and he was one of the only homes down there, and he said he has coal oil also. Knock on his door, tell him what's going on, and ask him to fill the can. He gave me a can. I cried. Well, I can't do that, Dad. You're gonna ask me to walk almost two miles? Now how far two miles is? In a great big woods that the that the trees was big, huge oak trees had never been touched. We're in the mountains down there. I'm telling you, I lived in the sticks. And he tells me you're gonna have to go through the woods, son, and you know your way, because I used to walk the dirt road to the school bus about a mile and a half. And so I did know the way to Gagel's back door, but you tell a seven-year-old at two o'clock in the morning he's gonna walk through two miles of woods. And I said to my dad, I don't think I can do that, Dad. And he said, You gotta do it for your brother. So right away I started thinking about my little baby brother, and I thought about my sister, and the house was really cold. And I said, What? How am I gonna do this, Dad? And I said, Give me a flashlight, Ken. We don't have a flashlight. I have a can in my hand, and so my father tells me, we had a little front porch, nothing over it, just a little cement slab with three steps up to it. He said, I'm gonna stand on this porch, Ken, and I'm gonna call your name. And you answer me back. And I said, Dad, and he said, Come on, Ken, do it for the family. And I said, Okay, Dad. And I started into those woods and he said, Can you hear me, Ken? I hear you, Dad. I walked a little further. He said, Can you hear me, Ken? I said, I hear you, Dad. I walked on, he kept repeating himself. I kept talking back to him. All of a sudden the wind started blowing in the trees. I stopped. I could not hear my voice, the voice of my father anymore. Fear gripped me. I got a powerful fear that hit me in that darkness. And I thought, I'm gonna turn around and go back. And a little voice spoke to me and said, walk a little further, Ken. And without the voice of my father, I walked from here to the parking lot and I saw the light. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Praise his holy name.

SPEAKER_01

I saw the light of Cagel's house.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Joy took away the darkness.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Joy filled my heart, and no more fear was ruling over me.

SPEAKER_04

There you go. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

God takes 50-something years. And one day I was doing something, and God spoke to me, and he said, I watched you, Kenneth, walking in the woods to go get oil for your family. I watched you. I began to bawl like a baby, Alex. And the Lord spoke to me and said, I watched you. And when you got to a certain point and couldn't hear your father's voice anymore, I gave you the courage. He gave it to me a seven. Amen.

SPEAKER_04

I believe that.

SPEAKER_01

I had no courage to go any further. God gave me the courage.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

God's gonna give us courage in his life. Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

So the Lord spoke to me and said, I gave you that courage, Ken. I was just sobbing. I don't even know where I was at. Working or doing something. But I got to sobbing and I thought, My God, you watched me then. If you're in the house of God right now, you were predestinated to be given a chance for eternal life. He's watched you from the time you took your first breath. Your name was recorded in God's heaven before the foundations of the world, the Bible says. Now, once you accept Christ and with the will that God gave you, it's up to you now what you do with his plan of salvation.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

When I got to Gagel's door, he came to the door, he knew me. What are you doing, Ken? I held the can up. I said, Gagel, my dad sent me. Our furnace ran out of oil. No problem, Ken. He took me out to his big tank, filled that couple gallon can, and he said, jump in the truck. He ushered me back to the house.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God. That's what the Lord will say. Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

God will usher you and I if we keep on going. But when I couldn't hear my father's voice, I had to walk from here to the parking lot in the midst of big, huge oak trees until I saw the light on my own. God once in a while will let you walk by faith. And when you get to a certain age in God, he'll take your training wheels off. And he'll say, Let's see how you do now. Just in the last week, last week, little AJ was stumbling around. She had unstable legs under her. Today, her legs are more stable, and she's actually running. And Ezra, I think, is beginning to crawl, right? Here we are. In the natural, we can see God building. Just like in the natural, you gotta learn how to crawl before you can walk. And then you gotta get stirred, you gotta get strong enough legs to run for sure. Amen. God's putting legs under us. God's getting us ready for something. So I didn't know what I was gonna preach, but I've given you a sermon.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Very good. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

So I thank God for those experiences that I had. Yes. I thank God because they're not for me, but I'm sharing them with you. Now, when God gets ready for you to share with me, don't hold back.

SPEAKER_03

There you go.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_01

Give us some of your experiences because we're bone of each other's bone and flesh of each other's flesh. And one thing for sure, don't let nothing separate you from the love of God in these last days. Don't let the internet, don't let all these false teachers, don't let none of the garbage that comes across that phone, don't let nothing hinder you and separate you from the love of God, because God is getting ready to pour out his wrath upon this nation.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, I believe. Believe that.

SPEAKER_01

Believe me or not, God is getting ready to pour out his wrath upon this nation. And you know where judgment's gonna come first? To the house of God. And if the house of God reaches comes under judgment first, where will the ungodly and where will the sinner appear?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

That's why we're striving so hard to get sin out of our life. And what is sin? It's a transgression against God's laws.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Brother, we're blessed to be in this church. Amen. We're blessed to be in this church. Praise God. I don't know where to stop here. I feel like somebody said, I feel like a uh a blue jay in a cherry tree, and the cherries is ripe, and I hear a buzzall. And he's cutting down the tree. But guess what? Aren't you thankful, you folks that's been around for years, aren't you thankful that you know what you're fighting? Yes. Aren't you thankful that you got such a good God that ain't gonna burn people forever and ever? Aren't you thankful to God to know about the bride of Jesus Christ and the high calling? Aren't you thankful to God to know that if you go down striving, you're gonna come back up and finish your course? Aren't you thankful for all the revelations that God's given us? Aren't you thankful to know about the Holy Ghost? Aren't you thankful to have it?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

As a comforter. Praise God. So I thank God, I thank God, and I thank God. God teaches you all along the way. Had a piano player in a little Pentecostal church, had three children. She played the piano and she wasn't paid to play it. That's right. How sad it is to have to put an ad in the paper and babble and we need an orchestra, we need an organ player, we need a band director, we need this and this, and here's your salary. I want to work in the house of God. I want God's people to help take care of my needs, but I don't want more than what I need.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And I never want to become a hireling.

SPEAKER_04

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_01

But, anyways, that night in church, I was working a good year, and I was sitting there on the platform, and a little voice said, Give all the money. Now, this ain't about you giving money today. Don't wrap this up too tight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is just something that I'm giving you to help you with your faith. God spoke to me and said, Give every dollar you got in your wallet to Sister Phyllis. Her name was Phyllis. You know, when it comes to certain things, you can convince yourself that that ain't God. Right. God asks you anything that the flesh don't want to give up, you will try to convince yourself that ain't God, that's me. I told the Lord, that ain't you, Lord, that's me. What am I thinking like that for? And it got stronger. And it got stronger. Finally, I just stuck my head down and I got my Bible and opened it, and I reached in when nobody was paying any attention, and I got my wallet out, and working a good year, I made good money, but I had a family to take care of. And I looked down in there and there was $204, and that small still voice said, I told you to give it all to her. You know what my thoughts were? How am I gonna get by?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, sure.

SPEAKER_01

Normal. Normal.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And so after church, it was February. It was so cold. It was below zero. I'll never forget it. And I walked up to her and I had that $204 in my hand, and when I shook her hand, I slipped it into her hand. Yes. And I'll never forget it. She called me Brother Kenny. She said, What's that, Brother Kenny? I said, God told me to give it to you. And she counted it. She broke down and began to weep. And I said, What's wrong, Sister Phyllis? She said, tomorrow morning, they're coming to shut my gas off, and me and the children won't have no heat in the home. I needed $204.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my God, we got a great God. Amen. As long as He's got a mind that he can talk to you, He can lead you and guide you. That's good. But if you harden your heart to Him, or you're too carnal and not spiritual enough, you'll never hear from God.

unknown

That's it.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. There you go. That's it. Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

I'll never forget that. One time, unfortunately, my father and mother was having a war. I mean, they was at it hot and heavy. And um they had a tendency after a few days of it, they might go to fisticuffs.

SPEAKER_06

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

I had to grow up with that. But that's alright. God's seen me. He knew about it. And everybody can get. If you've got a marriage and you tell me you never have one difference, I want to know how you're doing that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, sure, sure.

SPEAKER_01

Every marriage is going to have some differences. You got to work through them. You got to pray together. You got to look into the Word of God together.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And you've got to fix things, not according to what you or her thinks, according to what God thinks. That's really the wisdom of God is looking at our life's problems through God's point of view.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, that's good.

SPEAKER_01

And so in the middle of the night again, it's always cold. A little small voice wakes me up about three o'clock in the morning, and a voice speaks to me and says, If you'll go and run around that house seven times, I will bring peace to mom and dad. I thought, surely that ain't you, Lord. That can't be you. It's five below zero and two foot of snow on the ground. That's me. And I tried to go back to sleep. I could not sleep. And the Lord got stronger. I finally just jumped up out of bed, Matt, and I put my boots on and put some clothes on and a coat, and I went down there and parked my street my car on Atwood, and I got out of the car at three o'clock in the morning. I come up the driveway, and as I went around the back of the house, Teddy, the family dog, started barking. I thought, this is the end of that. You're gonna turn the lights off. I said, Teddy, Teddy, Teddy, it's me. He just started whimpering, and that was the end of his barking. He knew me. I ran around that house seven times. I went home and went back to bed. Early the next morning, after they'd been fighting and carrying on for days, I got a phone call, and it was my mother. And then when I answered the phone, I said, What's up, Mom? I thought I was gonna get another bad report. She said, The funniest thing, your father went out to get the newspaper, and when he went out, there's tracks all the way around our house in the snow. I thought, yep, I know about them. And then she said, Your father got up out of bed, or after he got the newspaper, he cooked my breakfast and repented for his bad spirit.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

You get things like that from God, and God ain't some mystical God anymore. God's a very real God. Amen. A God that can do anything he wants to do.

SPEAKER_04

Anytime. That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

That's true. Some people are so faithful in church, they have perfect attendance, they never cause no problems, but yet they've never had no experience with God. My hat's off to them. But you and I that's had these wonderful experiences in God, God's not a myth. God is a genuine. Listen to me, God. You're a genuine reality.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

And your son's just as real as you are.

SPEAKER_07

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And he came for me. He left the throne of God and come into this darkness, never once trespassing against his father, that he could have the perfect blood and the perfect life that's shed on Gogotham Hill. And I'm here because of him.

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

You're here because of him. Thank you for listening to me.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

I could go on and on. I have a whole mental book up here of the things that God showed me how real he really is.

SPEAKER_03

Very real.

SPEAKER_01

He's so real. I hope today that after Brother Alex says something to us and we start the music up, or you get up, whatever God wants, I hope today that you'll just open, not even open, kick open the door. Yes. And tell him, I'm not perfect, God.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

And I've still got ice in the land. There's still giants that I'm fighting. But here I am, God, and you see me anyways, so I'm not getting behind no tree. You already see me behind the tree. You know my ice. You know my faults. You know my failures, but you're still loving me, and you'll love me till my last breath. I just want to finish my course.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord. Help us, Jesus.

SPEAKER_06

Hallelujah. Help us, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. So my prayer to you is, as a pastor, is that you open your door.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, open your heart and the body of Jesus.

unknown

Help your mind.

SPEAKER_01

The book of Revelation says that he stands knocking at every man, every woman's door, and is all he's wanting is for you to open the door and invite him in, and he will come and sup with you.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

You open the door right up here.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Right in from your heart. I hope as the Spirit of God moves in here today. We need the Spirit of God. But we also need to be planted. Amen. And so I thank God today. I'm trying to plant you. I'm trying to do what God's called me to do. He's called me to plant. Others will water. Others will take the word of God that I've been presenting to the church, break it up for you, give it to you like baby food. My calling is to plant you in the things of God. I'm a planter. I finally recognize that God wants me to accept my position. Praise God. Praise God. I say, open the door. Let him in. God could do nothing for the dead man that he loved. Lazarus. He was a friend. But yet God had to tell him to do one thing: roll away the stone. We need to roll back our stony hearts. We need to get rid of all the animosity, all the bitterness, all the strife, all the child things, and grow up and roll back the stone and let God come in. And when they rolled back the stone, he spoke. You know, I was Lazarus, you were Lazarus, we were dead and trespasses against God. But the voice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, delivered us from all of our bondage.

SPEAKER_04

That's right, amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Miracles are set in here.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. And it'll be a miracle if all of our young people stay in the house of God with the pressures of this life right now. I'm praying to God that every young person gets sensible and realizes what the devil has to offer you don't amount to a hill of beans. And when you think the grass is greener on the other side and he's beat you up so bad that you gotta come back all beat up by the world. You'll realize it wasn't worth it.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

It's not worth it, folks. Amen. Hallelujah. Save yourself, Jack, from the heartache and the hell that the devil's got to offer you out there. Moses could have gone that way, but the Bible says he had recompense of the reward, and he chose to go with the children of God and all their afflictions and to have everything the world could offer him for the little season, and then it's over.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Don't you feel some day?

SPEAKER_01

Don't you feel like God's trying to get you plugged in? Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

Fear not, little flock. It's my father's pleasure to give you the keys of the kingdom.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

We have keys in this church. Amen. And we want to share them with everybody that God brings through the door. If he brings Joe and Larry and they sit in the back, I'm gonna preach and I'm gonna love them, and I'm gonna tell them just like I gotta change, you gotta change, Larry.

SPEAKER_04

That's it, it's true.

SPEAKER_01

That's just that simple. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

We all have to change. We all have to change. God thank you for listening to me. Praise God. And thank you, church, for listening to me. I need to thank God for giving me the words.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Because I had something totally different on my mind.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

But God knows what he's doing, doesn't he? Yes, sure does. I tell you, as a church, as a 75-year-old man, I have been through valleys. I've been through hell and broken ships and water. I've been through so much I could write a book. But it's just by the grace and the mercy of God that he has forgiven me for everything that's ever gone on in my life. And I stand here anointed by God.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. That's right. No doubt. To preach his gospel. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And when it's all said and done, what is what this world's got to offer me? The more you have, the more you worry about not losing it.

SPEAKER_04

Right, that's exactly right.

SPEAKER_01

But what we have is eternal in the heavens. And that's why the apostle said, if you be risen with Christ, have you been risen with Christ?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Brother Ronnie, you've been risen from Christ. Yes. Telling me your past. We all got a past. You have been risen from death to life. Amen. Now the apostle said, if you've been be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above. Above. Praise God. Get your mind on godly things. And in my closing, I know I say that all the time, I'm gonna have to quit repenting for the word. And we still got plenty of time for you and the Spirit to move in. When you begin to realize that everything you think about is affecting your emotions, your feelings, and everything about you. Thoughts are like vehicles. Seeds always grow. No good seed produces bad things. No bad seed produces good things. So think on the good things of God. Don't think on the negative things of God. Leave each other alone. We're all in the same hospital. Yes. You, you, you, me, you, you, you. Every one of us is here to get fixed. That's right. And I'm the doctor.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

Me and the Lord's a doctor.

unknown

Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

You don't know it, but I'm a searching. Absolutely. And I'm not operating on your gallbladder. I'm operating on your spirit and your mind and your will. That's right, amen. And you need to pray that my sword will be sharp enough that you don't go out of here like a stuffed pig. Yeah, that's right. But you go out here just happy and your throat's been tight. And you're walking at the door, and then it dawns on you. My God, did he hit me today?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Word of God. That's what happened, Jason. Them priests would stand around and sharpen their little swords. And when somebody brought their sacrifice, it just slip over to that sacrifice, that little lamp, cut its juggler vein. It didn't even know that it'd been cut. But all the life is bleeding out, and it's just sitting there chewing its cut, and it falls to its knees. God help us. Help us to let you cut the juggler vein. Oh God.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Get rid of Adam. No matter what, God, don't give up on me. Yes, Lord. Don't give up on me. Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Don't give up on me.

SPEAKER_01

I have problems, Lord. I'm not a preacher that's going to tell you I'm a perfect man of God. That's a lie.

unknown

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

But I'm just like you. The difference is, is God put a gift down in my life to help you to get where he wants you to get. You've got a man of God preaching unto you. That's a fact. Amen. And that's why the apostle Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. Amen. Amen. But if you really want to know what he was saying, he was saying, imitate me as I imitate Christ, because they didn't even have the Bible to read. Yes. So he was their light. And he was the one that was leading the path to God's people to get closer to him. Let's rise. Yes, amen. Praise God. I want to thank you, Lord, for that word today. Thank you, Jesus. I want to thank you. Now don't hold back today. Don't hold back.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Don't hold back. Amen. God tells you to run around this building. I'll run with you. I might not run. I'll walk.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

God tells you to put your hands up and let Him break your spirit. Let God break your spirit. Yes, Lord Jesus. You know all God was trying to do with Israel for 40 years is break their spirit. That's right. That's all. Yes. Break our spirit. Why? Because our spirit is not a good spirit. That's right. We're full of problems, man. But if God can break our spirit, that lets him come in and renew our broken spirit with his spirit. That's good. Praise God. Who's got a request today? Remember my mother and uh my wife over there sitting with my mother. Oh God. Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

God be merciful in that situation.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Who else?

SPEAKER_04

Continue to remember the Huggins and the Hobas family in North Carolina.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, remember them that's really truly set on coming and being in the house of God with us. Yes, amen. You know, God can bring people from anywhere, can't he, Brother Michael? Jesus told the Jewish people. He said, if you won't praise me, if you won't praise me, I'll cause these stones to cry out and praise me. He wasn't talking about rocks, he's talking about them Gentiles around there. That's right. I'll cause these Gentiles to worship me.

SPEAKER_05

That's true.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. Praise the Lord. Remember Brother Michael that's out of town.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I thank my brother Jason for living next door to me. You might think, wow, what did I get myself into? Living beside my pastor. Well, he's got two free cats. He gets a nugget of gold every once in a while.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

We share each other quite often, conversations about the things of God, don't we? And then I wake him up on a Sunday and tell him, You gotta take me to church. What about this Stanley family? Oh God. I could mention every one of you. They're amazing. All these years now driving that distance to and fro. Yeah. And workers. Workers. God's building a church in this tower, full of righteousness and power. He'll have a ladder rain for all the world to see.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

What's the rest of it? It will never fall away. It will never fall away.

SPEAKER_06

He's restoring it today.

SPEAKER_01

He's restoring it today. And he's building it with stones like you and me. And he's building it with stones like you and me. Well, if he's gonna restore something, it means we got some problems. Oh yes. We're being restored. Praise God. Praise God. Who else?

SPEAKER_06

We have some uh the sister Rochelle, brother Jason's and Faye. Um she's uh state of the menu, and uh just the whole situation with her, and also her brother Dan, who's the doctor said it's not like too. So just like uh a bird on the family as far as praying for them and whatever God's will.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, let's remember that family.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

It seems like crisis comes the family, and it sure does have a tendency to bring out all the thorns and thistles.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, God, doesn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that's why it's so important for all of us men in this church to carry the burden of the church. Yes, yes, we're the oxen that's in this assembly here, carrying the labor for God and you sisters just as much apart as us, brethren. But leadership belongs to the men. Right from the beginning in the home, right into the church. God's got an order, he will not work outside of it.

SPEAKER_04

That's it.

SPEAKER_01

Anyone else? Brother Tim.

SPEAKER_03

Our granddaughter. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Let's pray for that. Your granddaughter? That she's going to church. That's good. Let's pray that God will put her steps in the right direction.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

Who knows? Eventually she might be here.

SPEAKER_04

Never know.

SPEAKER_01

You never know what God's gonna do. When you get a glimpse of heaven, brother, you'll travel near and far to get there. That's right. Amen. Anyone else? Teresa, my daughter Teresa. Let's pray for her. Yeah. She had a birthday here the other day. How old is she?

SPEAKER_03

58.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. My God, 58.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, because I'll be 54.

unknown

She's 40 years old.

SPEAKER_01

I think I was only 17 when she's born. Think of that. And by the time she's 12, I'd go into stores with her, and I had little white-haired women following me out around, rebuking my socks off like I was a pervert. Sure. Yeah. I had to tell this woman one day, she followed me up and down the aisles, Jay, and finally she kept giving me these dirty looks, and I looked at her and it dawned on me. And I said, ma'am, and I was a minister. And I said, ma'am, and she said, Yeah. And I said, That's my daughter. All the blood run out of her face. I was about ready to go to jail. So don't judge everything until you investigate it. Investigate things before you snap judgment on things. That's right, amen. Praise God. Anyone else?

unknown

Praise God. Bobbishes.

SPEAKER_01

The Bobbishes. I just talked to Brother Bobbish today. I don't know if he gets these things, but he won't mind. He told me the other day, and it bothered me all night last night, so I woke him up out of bed at 10.30 this morning. He told me, he said, Brother Connell, I feel like me and my family's a part of the fringe. It just went over my head. So last night it got to troubling me. And I woke him up this morning. I said, quit thinking like that. Yeah, that's right. What do you mean? I said, you're not a part of the fringe. Are you up here causing problems and sneaking around and causing issues with everybody's life? No, Brother Connell. I said, you are 70 years old and you live four hours away, and God knows all that. You're not the fringe. You're my friend.

SPEAKER_07

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Now the rest of us don't have no excuse for not being in church. Gonna take that away from you.

SPEAKER_04

That's good though.

SPEAKER_01

But thank God I I I told him, and he said, uh, I said, no, no, no, don't say, uh. I'm telling you as your pastor, quit thinking that you're a part of the fringe. Yes, as you think, yep. Just keep on coming when you can. That's right. Praise God. Anyone else?

unknown

Remember my wife.

SPEAKER_01

Remember? Sister Amy. She's working today. Yes, I did. Let's remember her today. Praise God. How many of you want to go? Do you really want to go? Do you want to go? When the Lord comes back? Are you not going to have your stakes so drove so deep in this life that you can pull up and go? Don't drive your stakes down into this world because when he comes, you won't be able to get them pulled up and go. Praise God. Praise God. Anyone else?

SPEAKER_06

Sister Mary.

SPEAKER_01

What is it?

SPEAKER_02

Sister Mary.

SPEAKER_01

Sister Mary. Oh, yeah, Sister Mary. Crystal's mom. Just remember Sister Ann. I had uh Sister Connell call her the other day. I got to thinking, my Lord, I need to call that sister and let her know that she's not forgotten.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's good.

SPEAKER_01

I put a lot on my wife at times. I can't be over there with my mom, but I thank God that I got a wife that can go over there and set with her. Praise the Lord. Let's pray for all the young people.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Let's pray for my two granddaughters.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Let's pray for Jack. Let's pray for um.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, Stella.

SPEAKER_01

My God, my mind, it's going. I just don't want the word to go out of my mind. Everything else can go. It won't. But Stella.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How old is Stella? 11? Gonna be 12? Man, by the time I was 12, I thought I was a big stick. We need our God in heaven to cover all of us. But we need a covering for our young people that nothing can entice them to walk away from God. No good-looking black-haired, blue-eyed stovepipe farm guy. No beautiful little blonde or brunette. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing at all. Don't let nothing, God.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Don't let nothing take one thing from the kingdom.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God. And then me and you, we're not exempt, neither.

unknown

Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, anyone else? Is Ezra getting better?

unknown

Jesus, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God for a good report. Is he sleeping now sometimes?

SPEAKER_03

He usually only wakes up like once a night now.

SPEAKER_01

Once a night. Praise the Lord. My God, what a miracle. Ezra's sleeping. Hallelujah. Yes. Look at what God's done for this church. I don't want to keep you standing, I promise. One more second. And that is that when Jay called me a year or so ago, or whenever it was, Brother Jay, and he started crying, he said, My God, Brother Connell, don't ever doubt your ministry. God is bringing people into the church, and they're getting baptized with the Holy Ghost. We ain't even got a building.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. That's right. Amen. That's fine.

SPEAKER_01

That's good.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

My God, it's powerful. He wants us out of the building. But he's gonna walk on around the building. You come in the building.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_01

How we get along with one another is how much glory of God's gonna come in. Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_04

That's true.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God.

SPEAKER_01

Don't get disturbed when somebody rubs you the wrong way. It's just part of the plan. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. All right, I've kept you standing too long.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Wouldn't you like to see the ones that need the Holy Ghost get the Holy Ghost?

SPEAKER_04

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_01

Well, then you as a child of God just start priming. One of the qualifications of the bride of Isaac, Rebecca could draw water. Yes, amen. I hope we learn how to draw enough water to feed everybody that comes in. Jesus. Want a glass of water? Go there and talk with Jason. Jason gets the fill in the Lord, go get right next to him. Yeah, that's right. Tell God, splash that over on me. That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

I pray for all those brothers and sisters throughout the world that are part of the immediate family of God.

SPEAKER_02

That immediate family of Jesus lovers out there that want to be part of a family of God.

SPEAKER_01

Give them a chance, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Help them to bring others into our Navy family.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. And help us, Lord, to be the salt that leads a man. That's right. Alright, dear Lord, we thank you today, dear God. I repent, Lord, for taking this time, but yet I don't repent. I ask you, dear God, to control every bit of this service, Lord. Thank you, thank you. Your presence is wanted, dear God. We need your power and your spirit to come into the midst of us. We realize, God, that we've got all these problems. But you called us with all these problems slowly but surely by your mighty hand. You're uh got us on the potter's will, Lord, and you're working everything out of our life that would destroy us in the fire. God, in your sweet name, I ask as your minister, as a pastor, that you let your Spirit of God touch everyone today that will open the door and let you in. I thank you for everything. I know that you've heard every word today. There's not a word out of any of us that you don't hear. I know, dear God, you've heard every word that I've spoken. I hope that I haven't discouraged your people, but I hope that I've encouraged your people. And I pray, dear God, for every request, every sickness, every need. My mother over there, dear God, I pray that your mercy will be with her, dear God. And every one and every spoken request, I pray it in your sweet name. Thank you, Lord. Come on, brother Alex, for a minute before Jess starts the music. He wanted to say something.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord. We want to give room, don't we? Absolutely. Yes, amen. Very important. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_00

You guys are my brothers and sisters, you know, your family. And with family, you're able to be vulnerable. So I'm going to be vulnerable and say last week, before Brother Tim got up and you know gave us the message about the oxen and about how we need to, if you know, for feeling the Lord, just like what Brother Connell just said, spread it. You know, if one person has it, gather around, hopefully it splashes on you. Amen. But the vulnerable part of that is Brother Tim spoke to me personally before he spoke to everyone. Because earlier that service I told uh brother Jesse I was feeling the Lord, and I was. And Brother Tim basically said the same thing. He said, you know, get let other people experience it. If you're feeling it, give it out. And I'm thinking to myself, while he's telling me this, like, I am. You know, I'm putting my hands up more than I ever have in any other service. I'm I'm I'm praising the Lord more than I have every service. And I wanted to at the in the moment say, Tim, listen, I am doing that. And then this whole week I've been thinking about that. And I was doing that. I was doing that for me. But I wasn't doing it for you guys. You know, I was I was praising the Lord, I was, I was, I was trying to to feel him for me, but I wasn't asking him to help you feel it. And that stuck with me. And I told them last week, and I and I still stand by these words, I want to be a participant. I don't want to be a spectator. I played baseball for 20 years. I love this sport. I watch it every day. Ask Dana, it probably annoys the, you know, annoys her. Um nothing compares to playing the game. I would trade anything, maybe not anything, but to be able to play that sport again would mean everything. Watching it is great, but it's not the same. And I wanted to, Brother Matt, can you share um Psalms 34:15? This is one of the verses that uh Brother Connell had us read. I promise this won't take very long, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_04

Take your time, brother.

SPEAKER_00

But it says, the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry. Okay, I heard a very, very good sermon this week about babies. We have three beautiful babies here. Okay. Me sitting up here, I'm in a different perspective than a lot of you. I see you. You guys are looking up at whoever's speaking, at whatever's on the screen. I can't see any of that, but I see you. I see these babies, I see these three moms taking care of these babies. When they cry, they smooth, they soothe them, they comfort the babies. That's it. We're babies.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Cry out to the Lord. Amen. There you go. Okay?

unknown

That's good.

SPEAKER_00

He will soothe you. You ask any of these moms in this room, and they will say they one of the best parts of being a mother is being able to soothe your child. That's it, brother. The Lord is our mother. Amen. Okay? If you haven't gotten the Holy Ghost, if you haven't gotten it in a long time, cry out. Praise the Lord. Okay? Say, if it, you know, whatever it may be, if it's fierce, say, Lord, I am afraid of this. I am afraid of looking silly. I'm afraid of falling.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know what? You can't rise unless you've fallen.

SPEAKER_05

Yes. Amen. Okay?

SPEAKER_00

And if you do fall, you have 30 brothers and sisters to pick you up. That's it.

SPEAKER_04

Amen, brother.

SPEAKER_00

Okay? That's it. This is just the flesh telling you, you know, you're gonna fall and you can't get back up. That's not true. That's a revelation. That's not true. Good. Just cry. Be that baby. And let the Lord be your mother.

SPEAKER_04

Amen, brother.

SPEAKER_00

Say, Lord, I know I'm not perfect, but I'm striving. That's it. I'm gonna get there. Or I'm gonna do my best to get there. That's it. Okay. I want to see everyone. Let me rephrase this. I'm in no position to give commandments. I'm the new guy. Okay? Um, similar to where I sit in here, I have a different perspective. I don't know a lot about scripture. I don't, I can't quote the Bible, I've said that multiple times. But from the outside, Jay mentioned it when he got up and spoke, when it comes to the Holy Ghost, whether you've never gotten it or you haven't gotten it a long time. It's so easy. But it's not because of the flesh. There you go. Amen. Okay? Fight that flesh. Don't be afraid of giving in. The best thing about fear is you can overcome that fear. Okay? That's good, brother. Now we're all in this together. I want to spend eternity with my family. Sure. You know? And there's there's requirements you have to meet. And it's the resurrection has been weighing on me a lot lately. I've been trying to learn as much about that as possible. And it saddens me. I grew up with my mom. She doesn't know the Lord. And it, you know, it it creates turmoil inside of me, knowing that she may not be able to experience what we're striving to experience. Yes. I can give her the coordinates, I can give her the map, I can give her the compass, but I can't steer the ship. That's it. And we right now all have the power to steer our ship. We're standing at the helm. Okay? When we're on our ship, the harvest, when you're a fisherman, isn't in the harbor. It's out, you know, in the open sea.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Past the horizon. You don't know what's out there, but you're gonna come back bountiful.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes. That's good.

SPEAKER_00

And it's just it's been weighing on me all week to just tell you guys, especially the men here, the brothers.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Be that oxen. Give in. You know, if if you feel compelled to cry out, cry out. There's no feeling silly. That's right. That's it. I have had so much anxiety throughout my life. I'm worrying about what others think of me. But think of it like this: when you're at home, no matter who you live with, that's when you're at your roughest. You wake up, you know, Sunday morning, you're in your mixed matched PJs, you know, you you we all let's be honest, we all are rough, especially in the mornings. That's here. That's at home. We're home. You know, we're a family. There's no need to be ashamed of anything.

SPEAKER_04

That's good stuff, bro. We're a family. That's good. Good job, yes.

SPEAKER_00

If we if if if we're striving together to get to the same goals, that's good stuff. If I can help you guys get to those goals, I'm gonna do it. It's just I want everyone to be greedy. Not selfish, but greedy. I want you all to feel that we deserve everything the Lord can give us. We deserve it. Be greedy about it. Want it. But it has to be together. Like I said this last week, I was in it for me. And that's why I'm up here now, so I can help. You know, as that new guy, as that outsider with a different perspective, just I can say it's easy. I can say just do this, this, and this, and you'll, you know, you'll get what you need. That's not true. But as long as you're trying, just put yourself out there, yes, you'll get it.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

That's all I got.

SPEAKER_05

Good stuff. Amen, brother. Good stuff. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord, praise God. Good stuff. You say Alex is getting his eyes open. Oh, yes. Absolutely. Praise God.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely getting his eyes open.

SPEAKER_01

Praise the Lord. Glory. Man, my God, we don't know what God's doing in the midst of this little church. That's right. Nope. We're getting a glimpse of it. That's right. That's good. Good stuff.

SPEAKER_04

Praise the Lord. Praise God.
