SPEAKER_02

Well, we're thankful to be here in the house of God again, aren't we? David said when they said let's go to the house of the Lord, he got excited. And so we should be excited to come to the house of God. I know that we had a wonderful picnic yesterday. We appreciate all the labor and the work that went into that picnic. And I didn't get to see the fireworks in in person, but I saw them on the internet and realized we have a, don't don't help me get this right, a pyro technician. It was better than probably downtown Akron. He treated the Gospel Truth Assembly with a wonderful fireworks, didn't he, Brother Jason? Then all the food that was there and all the labor and effort that went into uh the Fourth of July picnic. It's uh it's a pure sign that God's building among us. And then we're glad to have the Huggins family with us today. And they're they're not uh they're not visitors, they're just guests, as I said yesterday. Uh the family of God is the family of God. No matter where we come from, for north, south, east, or west, uh, it's God's family. And if you ever read the Bible much, you'll find out that most of God's peoples was travelers. They was constantly traveling. If it wasn't Abraham traveling, it was another one traveling. And then the children of Israel, they packed up and moved many times in the wilderness until finally they got to the promised land. But um that journey they had was quite a journey. How many of you is realizing that the process that God's putting us all through is quite a process? He's never changed his methods, even though I've cried about them a few times and not completely adjusted to them properly, but yet his ways is so high above our ways that we have to trust him in the good times and the bad times. That's right. Now I know some of you is tired here today, and I'm right with you because for some reason I went to bed and God just started flooding my mind, and it's not good for Brother Connell to take his phone to bed. My wife can always tell when I've had my phone with me all night, because it just seems like I'll look up one scripture and roll over and decide I'm gonna go to sleep, and then another scripture will come into my mind, and I want to make sure I got it right, and so you can see the daylight come through the windows, and by the time I'm ready to go to sleep, it's time to get up. So, pardon me if my mind isn't real snappy today, but uh we have an opportunity today to worship God in a sacrificial way. It's real easy to worship God when you're on the mountaintop. It's real easy to worship God when everything is going peachy king. Can I say it that way? That's just an old expression of everything's going rosy. Some people like to look through rose-colored glasses, and um and it gives you an optical illusion, really, because you look through it and everything looks rosy, but if God takes the rosy glasses off, everything isn't so rosy anymore. God has to take our rosy glasses off to let us see just who we are. You know, if we never see who we are, we'll never change. That's right. And sometimes we look at what God shows us, and it's almost scary to we want to run from it, don't we? I felt like a lot of times when God would show me things, and God just uses methods, he knows how much to show you and when to show it to you. And he doesn't show you more than what you can handle. But as you grow and manifest more in God, the more he shows you. So I've heard people say before, well, I don't want to know much then. Well, if you don't know much, you're not gonna go very far. So God's got it figured out. You've got to know a lot to get where you're going, and yet you uh you don't want to know too much too soon. It's just like coming to God. When we come to God, we all come with a carnal and a natural mind. Do you understand that? Yes, that we all come to God with a carnal and a natural mind. And what the Holy Ghost is for, and what the baptism of fire is for, and what the word of God is for, is to begin to circumcise that carnal mind into a spiritual mind. And you can't do that by not never studying, never reading your Bible, never going to the Lord in prayer. There's commandments that God gives, and if we break them, there's always a refute, there's always a repute to it. There's always a consequence to it. I wouldn't want to live in this city today without the police force, would you? Huh? Not in the day and age we're living in. And I wouldn't want to live in this city without red lights. And I wouldn't want to live in this city without stop signs. And I wouldn't want to drive on the freeway without yield signs. And I wouldn't want to drive on an old country road without signs marking my path. That's right. Yes, yes, amen. You know God's got signs for us, and He marked our path if we have a mind to pay attention to the signs. Sometimes we'll have you ever got off on the wrong exit. I'm gonna take us to the Lord in prayer, and if God puts something on my heart later, I will. But what I'm saying is real good now.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I'm getting the boat up ready to sail on whatever path God gives us today. And so uh I've gotten off on the wrong exits before. Sister Connell and I got off on an exit in Toronto, Canada. A million and a half or five million, I think it's five million people in that city. And we got off on the wrong exit. You know where we ended up? In a concrete jungle. We we was, I wasn't as scared as she was, and if I get scared, see it makes her more scared. You know, us men, we've got to be the leaders of our home for many various reasons, but for one reason, our wife's is a weaker vessel. Don't hang me out to dry, sisters. That's the way God intended it to be. Lots of times, though, that our wife's is stronger than we are. And unfortunately, lots of times, churches is filled with more women than there are men, because they have a more tender spirit, more apt to reach up and touch God. For us brethren, to get together and begin to praise God and love on each other, it takes uh the hand of God to do that. The sisters can gather themselves together, and it seems like it just comes natural to them. But us oxen, brother, we stumble around. We're trying to get rid of all this foolish stuff that men don't cry, and big egos and all that stuff. But you know, when you come to God, you come natural-minded, you come carnal-minded, and then as you grow and develop in God, you become more spiritual-minded and your troubles become less. I told Brother Tucker one time, I said, I'm so troubled. He just looked at me. I said, No, I mean it, Brother Tucker. I'm troubled. What are you troubled over, Brother Connell? Well, I can't understand all the things that I'm hearing. Well, good, he said. I thought, what do you mean, good? He said, being troubled means that you're open-minded. When you think you got it all, your mind's closed. Somebody said a closed mind is like a parachute. You're in bad shape if it don't open. Also, it says if you're closed-minded, it's like a stuffy closet. It'll get more and more stuff in there. But thank God, thank God, thank God for Jesus today. Thank the Lord for his goodness. Thank God for his covering in this wicked world that we're living in. I thank God for the Holy Ghost today. I thank God for his presence that'll come into this building today. I thank God he's watching each and every one of his children. I thank God that he knows each and every one of us. He knows us that's bruised, he knows those that's uh in the valley, those that's on the mountaintop, and he blends us all together. And if we let God have the reins today, we'll have a wonderful outpouring of the Spirit of God in the midst of us.

SPEAKER_03

Bless his holy name.

SPEAKER_02

You know, a team of horses always knows who's on the uh, what do they call that, the buggy, uh, the seat. Saddle, in the saddle, on the rein. In the saddle on the reins. On the reins. You know how them horses know is that a newcomer or one that's not very equipped with the horses will hold on so tight that it makes the horses nervous. One that's been in the saddle for quite a while knows how to just hold them reins just right. Yes. And the and the and the horses, they get real comfortable knowing that somebody's in the saddle that should have the reins.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Then you can squeeze on people to where you squeeze them right out.

unknown

Like sand.

SPEAKER_02

Like sand in the hand, as just said. Yes. You can pick up a handful of sand on the beach, hold it like that all day, but go to squeezing on it, and it'll find every little crack and crevice before long, you've lost most of the sand. That's why God don't want ministers to be a lord over God's heritage. A lord over God's heritage.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

And then God don't want us to lord over each other. And when you really look at the way God set the kingdom up, and by the way, you're in the kingdom, you're born into the kingdom through a spiritual birth. Somebody said, Well, I haven't been born again. Well, you're a child of God by faith. But if you keep holding on to your faith, you'll soon be a child of God by birth. There you go. You know, every every mother that carries a child, it's in the womb. But when the water breaks, you know the baby's on its way. Same way in the kingdom of God. When people's water baptized, they repent of their sins. They're in the process of being born again by the power of God coming into your life, and the evidence that it came into your life is you will speak in a tongue that you know nothing about. It might be Italian, it might be German, it might be Slovak, it might be any kind of a tongue, but it can't be your normal tongue. It has to be any tongue but your normal tongue. Some people say, well, that was done away with. Well, that's funny. I speak in tongues quite often. And somebody say, well, why do you want to do that? Same reason why the apostle Paul said to do it. He that speaketh in tongues speaks to God. Yes. Speaks to God. Yes, amen. Man, what a privilege to speak to God.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

What a privilege to have God for a covering in this life we're living in. Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

What a privilege to have a covering from God.

unknown

Praise the Lord. Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

But you have to stay right with God to keep that covering. There's some people that's lost their covering in God. You know, it's kind of like it might not get back up, but just to get us on the right track today, I'm trying to dig down and get on something that God will bless today. One thing He always blesses is a thankful heart in the house of God. Amen. He'll always uh he'll always appreciate that thankful heart. But I had uh the privilege of hunting rabbits with my father, and he had some real good beagle dogs. He had one that was a blue uh ribbon dog, her name was Sally. Then he had one that was as wild as a Mustang, his name was called Benny. Benny almost got left behind many times. My dad would try everything under the sun with that dog. He fed him good, talked to him real nice, but Benny just had a wild spirit about him that he could not stay where he should be. He constantly ran uh scents other than a rabbit scent. He'd run a fox, he'd run anything. And brother, if uh something come along, you could hear him in the next county barking. Now, not with uh not with Sally, she was a blue-tick dog, a blue-ribbon dog. She stayed right on the trail. And whenever she lost the rabbit, Benny, he didn't pay no attention to his uh, I think it was his mother, but he didn't pay no attention. He just ran off. He'd run a block away and you'd hear him barking over there. And then here with Sally, she would make little circles, and then she'd just widen her circle and she till she picked up the trail again. You know, if you ever get off track with God, which we all will.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I've never been off track with God. You haven't walked very far. We'll all get off track with God sooner or later. You know, is all we gotta do is go back to where we lost the trail and pick it back up. There was a church that God had to speak to, the last message to the seven churches of Asia, and he told those people, he said, You say that you're need of nothing. You have no need for nothing, you're rich. And he ended up telling them, No, you're blind and naked and cannot see. I hope to God, none of us fall into that. Matt's probably trying to follow me a little bit, but you'll find that in the book of Revelation. He said, Because thou sayest I am rich and increased with goods, have need of nothing, and knoweth not that thou art wretched. That's a bad word, brother, and miserable and poor and blind and naked. Now he ain't talking to the ungodly, he's talking to a church that Paul had uh that the apostles had established. You know, we can get blind, naked, and miserable and poor, spiritually speaking. You know how that comes upon us? By losing our intimate walk with God. I hope you give me the freedom to continue to speak when God gives me the anointing to speak. I wanted to say this before we go any further. Yesterday, when I gave the prayer over the food, I might have I might have sounded a little bit firm. I hope that people that love God don't take my firmness as being dictator or a Lord. The firmness that I have with God's children is because of the calling that's in my life. And it's not a dictatorship, it's not a Lord over God's people, it's a highly concerned spirit for God's sheep to come to higher ground. Yes, amen. And if there was ever a time we need higher ground, we need it now. That internet and the television and everything in this world right now is so corrupt and so far from God that there's hardly any of our young people that's real anymore. They're made up of fictitious plastic. I'm not talking to my granddaughter, I'm talking to all of us. You can look at this world today, and there's very, very, very little that's real. Very little genuinity. Nothing's genuine. And then the sad thing of it is, is that a lot of people's got the same spirit my grandma Collins had. Everything she watched on television, she thought it was real. You know, you can look at these fairy tales on the soap operas that we have nowadays, and if you're not careful, you'll try to gauge your marriage according to 20th Century Fox. You're going to be miserable. Because they don't tell you the ins and outs, they just tell you the plastic stuff. Yes, yes, yes. Praise God. I remember my grandma Collins, she would make my grandpa stop in the middle of the grocery store and go home to watch as the world turns. And you could not convince her that that wasn't real. You know there's a lot of people that's sitting in fictitious churches today, and it's nothing but a veneer. It's not the real thing. It's imitation. But guess what? You gotta have a vision to know what is imitation. Thank God we have a vision in the Gospel Truth Assembly. Amen. Thank God we're a bunch of people here with all kinds of different backgrounds, all kinds of different childhoods, but thank God we have found the mother where the church is made perfect. How's that going on? It's going on by us developing maturity. And as uh we grow in the Lord, we're to take now, this isn't for any of our new people, unless it fits. But when we grow up in God, we're supposed to be the ones that help those that's trying to grow in God. As we're growing in God, we reach a hand out to those that haven't come to the place we are so that they can come up on the mountain where we're at.

unknown

So true.

SPEAKER_02

We all lift each other up. We all have a love for one another. Somebody say, Well, I love that one, but leave all butts out. When you say but, here comes the devil.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

I really love Brother Connell, but well, look out. I watched Brother James Sodters, and what a great man of God he was. His father was William Sodters, that uh God called off the river, Ohio River, and said that uh every religion in this world's got a measure of truth. And he told Brother William Sodters, he said, I'm gonna give you a revelation on how to get it all. And he said, David's uh thrashing floor is where the farmers would bring their bundles of wheat, and the oxen would get up and tread on the wheat. And then the little boys and little girls had these willows, or I forget what they're called, but they're kind of like a little. Fork, little pitchfork. And they would throw that grain up in the air, and all that precious grain would come down and land in a pile, but in the meantime, the wind would blow the shaft away. And then you'd have a full pile of wheat. God spoke to Brother William Sauders and he said, Every denomination that's been coming up out of the wilderness, leaning on the arm of her beloved, has got a measure of truth. The Methodist people have a measure of truth. The Jehovah's Witness people have a measure of truth. The Baptist people have a measure of truth. Even the Catholic Church has a measure of truth. But guess what? All them truths need to come together. And that's what God done for a hundred years.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen, brother.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. He took that great man of God and he had other men of God come among him and he taught them according to the things that God expressed to him. And he took a little from here and a little from there and a little from here and a little from there. And we stand on a foundation today that's been tried by fire. It's been tried over and over and over again, and it stands firm. We've got proof in this church that many, many people have not even heard as of yet.

SPEAKER_03

Amen, amen. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Praise the Lord. God's depending on us, brethren, and on you, sisters, praise God, to grow up to the point to where we can be a garner for God bringing in the precious wheat from every denomination, every field that's out there in this world, every bar, every nightclub. They're on their way. You can hear them marching.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That is the truth.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Praise the Lord. But you know how strong the church is going to be? As strong as you men that God's led to me. Yes. Praise the God. You might not even know this, but you've been led to a man of God. Amen. Praise the Lord. You sisters also have been led.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

But we're only as strong as the weakest link.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely correct.

SPEAKER_02

Let's all be powerful links. Let's love one another. Let's bear with one another. Let's uh prefer one another. Let's uh show us that we are a part of the body. You know my calmly parts. People look at you and say, Boy, you got pretty eyes. My eyes ain't pretty anymore, they're old eyes. But I don't care who thinks my eyes are pretty. I just want God to think that I see real well. There you go.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

There you go. Amen. But uh but when you look at the natural body, everybody can say, boy, you got nice hair, you got nice eyes, got a nice complexion. But guess what? Them's the calmly members of my body.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_02

That's what Paul meant when he said, the calmly parts of your body, it don't need much praise, it don't need much patting on, but the parts of the body that nobody recognizes, that's the parts to lift up and exalt.

SPEAKER_01

Praise the Lord.

unknown

Praise God.

SPEAKER_02

Nobody ever walks up and says, Man, you got a pretty elbow. Your big toe's nice. There you go. Your eyebrows is okay. No. Nobody ever says that. They pick your calmly parts. The parts that everybody sees. But God's looking at this church, and he's looking at the calmly parts, and he's looking at the parts that never get no recognition. Guess what? It makes no difference. We all get a penny at the end of the day.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_02

God's building a church. And so as God spiritualizes you and you become more interested in the things of God than you do in natural things, you'll begin to tame that carnal nature. And you'll begin to feast on things that's not so carnal. But unfortunately, Jesus gave the parable of the sower. And he said the seed fell out, the seed went out, and it fell on stony ground. You ever see stony people? No matter how great the spirit moves, no matter what the preacher preaches, they sit there with a stony heart, and there's no chance for them to have anything sprout up from the church service they've been because they're carnal, natural-minded, and the devil gets it before it has any chance.

SPEAKER_03

There you go. Yes, yes. Solid.

SPEAKER_02

Then it fell on stony ground. The first was wayside soil. Have you ever seen any wayside soil people? We've had them throughout the years come and visit us. Sit there and somehow somebody invited them, and uh they didn't know our church service was going to be more than 15 minutes. And they just sat there and I would watch them in the garage. They'd get as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. They could not wait until somebody shut up. They could not wait until the door opened up and they never come back again. What happened? God just sent some wayside soil in.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

Then uh then the uh the the parable Jesus went on with is he said stony ground. And he said, the stony ground receives the things of God and instantly begins to grow up because they have no roots going down. But when the fire comes, or any trial or test comes, or they're offended by the word of God, and the word of God will offend you and I, it says they wither away for they had no root within themselves. Then he went on, he said, and some seeds fell among thorns and thistles. And the thorns and the thistles took the word of God out, and they brought forth no fruit. Man, I feel good today. I didn't sleep awake last night, but I feel the Holy Ghost in my life today. Is that it? When that took place there in that parable, he said the thorns and the thistles choked out the word of God. And then they wanted to know what the parable meant. And so they came to Jesus and said, Give us the understanding of the parable. And Jesus explained what I was just explaining to you. And then when he got to the thorns and the thistles, he said, These are they that will never bring forth any perfection from me, because the cares, pleasures, riches of this life choke them out from producing God.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, there you go. That's what it is.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, yep. So as we come to God, we all come carnal and natural.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

But as God begins to raise up people, and those people that know how to circumcise the old man and get him off the throne, then they're in a position to help those that's coming up the ladder, just like you and I come up the ladder. But ultimately, what God wants is a church that's all spiritual. Everybody sees eye to eye. Everybody glorifies God with the same mouth. This man doesn't see something different than his brother sees. Brother Michael doesn't see it different than me. This is not Babylon. This is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ where there's seven ones among us.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

One body, one faith, one baptism, one Lord over it all. And so when you look at what God's building in the midst of us, he's building something very beautiful. But we're going to have to contend with a whole lot here soon. Because they're going to come in dressed any way they want to dress. We're in such a rebellious world, and if you think there's no rebellion in you, I hate to bust your bubble. We're born with it. But what God wants to do is he wants to slay that rebellion and replace it with obedience. But last but not least, let me say this. I've been studying over and over. God gave me something very precious. I don't know if he saw my heart sorrowful that I wasn't going to see my mom no more for a long time. What it was, but I was sitting out on the front porch and God spoke to me out of nowhere, and he said, the mystery of how to blaspheme the Holy Ghost, I'm going to give it to you this day. Man. I'm an unworthy vessel. But God don't give it to me to keep it for myself. God gives your pastors things to give it to the saints of God so that we can all enjoy the things of God together. But you know what happens? Is egos and spirits. It's contrary to God. Gets down in our lives. And if God don't give it to me, I don't want it. What a fool you are.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen. True.

SPEAKER_02

But God don't give everything out to his saints. If he did, where would the ministry come in? There'd be no need for a five-fold ministry. And you are going to see, before God ramps this up, you will see a five-fold ministry. It's going to come up out of the sea of life, and it's going to come up like a man's hand. And when old Elijah told the servant to go up on the seventh journey up, he said, I see a cloud coming up out of the sea like a man's hand. The apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor, and evangelist is going to sweep this world over. And those men will see eye to eye and glorify God with one mouth. And they'll be grown-up men. Men that's grown up.

SPEAKER_03

Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Not childish men. Grown up men. So when you look at what God's doing in the land, if you have eyes to see, we're going to begin to talk on things that might be hard to understand. Just put them in a drawer and put them up on the shelf. And sooner or later they'll be gotten down enough times that you'll get a revelation from them. Over and over, a repetition. And God will bring these things to your heart and enlighten you. And so we're looking at a world right now that has gone completely crazy. They're out of their minds. They don't only want us to accept what they're saying, they want us to believe they're right.

SPEAKER_03

That's it right there.

SPEAKER_02

You know the sad thing of it is, is we could fill this building, take that wall out, and bring 500 people into this building. And out of those 500 people, a man of God or a brother or sister could stand up and say something spiritual. And you know how many out of the 500 might get it? There are four. Ten if you're lucky. And the rest goes away empty. You know why? Because Jesus said, Blessed are the hunger, those that hunger, for I shall fill them. Yes. And so when we come to God, we all come natural-minded, carnal-minded. I can't even believe how how childish and carnal-minded I was. I appreciate Brother James Sauders putting up with my childish acts. I really do. Show up in a piano suit with a tail that drug the ground. Maroon in a pink boat, pink shirt, whatever color it was, with big ruffles. My god, he probably looked at me and said, We got some work to do. But I'm thank God that I didn't retaliate.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen. That's it.

SPEAKER_02

And this one thing I can say that those older brethren worked me over. They wasn't as scared to tell me when I was wrong. They wasn't as scared to correct me when I needed corrected. And the one thing I can say with a very pure, unfiend heart today, without any anything in my heart, is not once did I ever retaliate against anything they ever corrected me over. That's why I'm here today. You know there's men that can take no correction. They can't take any correction. Women too. Just can't take any correction. When I sit down, I'll be done, so bear with me. If you take Ezra, Ada, and AJ, they're too young to be corrected yet. Maybe who's the oldest? AJ? And then who's next? Ezra? Well, you see, there's a sequence there. Do you know, as a father and a mother, you're doing yourself a great justice to correct your children when they're young? Yes, Amen. Because a child can get to the age to where you can't correct them anymore, and you spiritually can get to an age to where God can't correct you anymore.

unknown

So true.

SPEAKER_02

And the Bible says God corrects everyone that he loves. And if you're without correction, you are a bastard. That's right. Is that Bible?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_02

It's Bible. What does it mean to become a bastard? It means that you've gotten so much rebellion in your life and such a contrary spirit that God can't deal with you anymore. So He doesn't back up, He just lets you get further away. Do you know it's a beautiful thing to understand the parable of the wheat and the tares? Let me share this with you a little bit. The wheat and the tares. They're all grown in the same field. It's all the same seed, but you don't know who's a tear or who is wheat until the time of harvest. And then the disciples said, How is it that you sowed good seed and there's tares in the field? And they said, Should we go out, Lord, and pluck up the tares? And Jesus said, No, no. Don't pluck up any tares until the time of harvest, least you pluck up some wheat also. That was God's wisdom, Jesus Christ's wisdom, to us to understand that you've got to let everybody grow up.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Let it all grow up.

SPEAKER_02

And all of us grow together. And then he said, in the time of harvest, he'll send forth his angels. You don't think he's going to bring third heaven angels down here, do you? They don't know nothing about our flesh.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Tell us.

SPEAKER_02

They're perfect and holy. No temptation for an angel. If they could be tempted, Christ would have fixed heaven before he came to fix earth.

SPEAKER_03

That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_02

Man. I think God loves the truth. Praise the Lord. That's good. Amen. And so you know what makes a tear? Is a person that has been sitting in the field along with the wheat that hears the word of God, hears the word of God, hears the word of God, and does nothing with the word of God until they become a tear.

SPEAKER_03

That's exactly right. Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

That's exactly right. And in the time of harvest, God manifests who is tares and who is wheat. The wheat can't be mistaken for they bow. They bow and they're heavy with fruit. They're heavy with grain. The tares sticks straight up. That's it. It's an attitude. It's an applying yourself to the word of God. That's why James said it's not the hearer of the word, but it's the doer of the word of God. Amen. Most people will be in church today, possibly drunk last night, possibly a fight in the family. All kinds of things go on in the July 4th. Christmas, New Year's, the flesh takes every precious day and they use it for the flesh.

unknown

That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_02

Fellas. I'd like to get drunk today. And wake up tomorrow with no hangover.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

And you know what it is, don't you? It's what Jesus poured out at the Last Supper and said, drink ye all of it, for this is the blood of the new covenant. We're having communion today. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. What a wonderful thing that we have an understanding that God's given us.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

I told the church years ago, if soda crackers and grape juice can make me closer to God, I'm going to spend my whole, what's that check I get? Social Security. I'm going to spend my whole Social Security check. And I'm going to go to giant eagle or Kroger's. And I'm going to buy box after box of saltine crackers. I'm going to buy me five gallons of Mogan David wine. I'm going to sit and stuff myself with them crackers and drink that wine till I'm rolling around home drunk. And is all I'm going to do is wake up with a hangover and bad taste in my mouth.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

But when you know what communion is all about, when you understand that the communion of God Is right here in the midst of the Gospel Truth Assembly when we partake of this word of God and then God comes in and washes it down. You've had the best communion you can ever ask for. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord. Man, it's a world in for a treat. If God opens their ears up, brother, if you won't shout in this church, there's people on their way that all out shout you and take your child away.

SPEAKER_03

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

And I feel God's anointing coming upon your pastor more and more.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

I got laxed and laid my sword down, and nothing can he told me. You're gonna pick it back up. I didn't call you to keep your sword in your sheath. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Lord.

unknown

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Praise God. But I know that it cuts. Pray that my sword can get sharper.

SPEAKER_04

Sharp, Amen.

SPEAKER_02

That you can get your juggler vein cutting here today. And you'll be grinning while the blood's running out.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

And it'll take you a week to figure out. He sliced me up. Oh, Jesus. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Praise God, praise God. That's what he's after. He's after lively stones. You know, I worked around a bunch of Masons when I worked for Frank. Had one old Mason, his name was Frank Ritchie. What a wonderful Italian fella he was. Good natured, healthy as a horse. And I seen him one day out there putting those sewers in, you know, the red brick that storm sewers goes into. Every brick he picked it up, he hit it with his trowel. And I thought, I'm gonna ask him. So I walked over to him and I said, Frank, yeah, Kenny. I said, what do you hit those bricks for? He said, because a certain brick that can take weight will put out a certain sound. Oh, Jesus. It's awesome. So you had a few bricks over here and a whole big pile over there. I said, What's the big pile? Bricks that can't take no heat. Or not no heat. Bricks that can't take no weight. I said, You mean you sounded that? Yep, every one of them. Here's a good pile. I'll put them in as a foundation that can stand the weight that's needed to stand, and then I'll put the ones that don't sound so great on top of the foundation. Praise God.

unknown

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

What are you gonna be?

SPEAKER_03

That's it.

SPEAKER_02

What am I gonna be?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

In a large house, there's vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor. The vessels of dishonor are there to get the vessels of honor where they need to be. Don't be a vessel of dishonor.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise God.

SPEAKER_02

How am I a vessel of dishonor, Brother Connell? By your tongue, by your jealousy, by your envy, by your strife, by being a troublemaker and not a peacemaker. You fall on a vessel of dishonor.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's true. It's true. Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But thank God. God in all of his mercy can take a vessel of dishonor that wishes to become a vessel of honor and take that clay and mold it into a vessel of honor after it was a vessel of dishonor. Praise the Lord. No wonder God sent Jeremiah to the potter's house. No wonder God sent that great prophet down there. No wonder Isaiah in 65 said, We are clay and he is the potter. No wonder, Hebrews says, why does the clay say to the potter, don't make me what you want me to be. I want to be what I want to be. God molds whoever he wants to mold into whatever he wants them to be molded into. But your attitude decides what you become molded to be.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, yes, that's right. That's true. Decide your attitude. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, I didn't know I was gonna say all this. I had something totally different on my mind. But I want to be led by the Spirit. And as many as are led by the Spirit are what? The sons of God. I ain't gonna downgrade anything, but we used to have a group come among us, and their cards said, as many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God. And I thought, brother, you should have taken that out of your wallet. You don't know how to be led by the Spirit of God yet. That's right. But you know what? That's a part of being mature enough to let them remain immature and see if God will bring one of them immature people in and give them some maturity.

SPEAKER_03

God's right, amen. So true.

SPEAKER_02

So what's gonna make a tear?

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

What's gonna cause us to be a tear? Is constantly partaking of the things of God and doing nothing with them.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And then you know, this five years that we was out of church, boy, sure did God uh gave God a good chance to manifest everything we thought was hid, didn't he? Some people was real sweet and meek. Now they got an attitude like as if no more will I be sweet and meek. You've lost your contact. You know, I heard somebody here uh a few months back, they told me in my home, they said, I hands on the hips, I'll just tell you the way it is. When somebody doesn't do what I think they ought to be doing, I march right in and I give them a piece of my mind. When you say, my mind, you have gotten off of track.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

When you want to fix everything that ever bothers you, you're doing away with the grindstones and all the things that's gonna perfect you by getting rid of it.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, true, yeah. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

We all need something to work on us from time to time. Well, I didn't mean to take all this time, but I hope you got something out of this. So I'm finishing what's gonna make when God sends forth his angels. And let me say this. I know I sound awful bad about the good old USA like yesterday. I'm sure some people thought, well, man, he just makes it sound like we're in some ungodly nation. Not yet. But we're fastly approaching it.

SPEAKER_01

Of course.

SPEAKER_02

There's thousands upon thousands and thousands more of good people in this nation. There's wonderful good people in every denomination. But the problem of it is, is every denomination isn't being led by Christ. They're being led by men in the saddle.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. There's the difference right there. True.

SPEAKER_02

And when you find the body of Jesus Christ, you'll find men that's letting God lead the church services. Amen. Praise God. Right now, you need your pastor to keep planting.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

You might not know it, but today, for an hour now, I've been planting.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Hallelujah. Plant and stable God.

SPEAKER_02

And so, what are we going to do? Are we going to apply ourselves to God or just hear what God has to say and then walk away, as the James, the half-brother of our Lord, said, hear the word of God, wipe their mouth, and walk out the door, and never do nothing but what you heard. You will be a tear.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. That's right. That's exactly right. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

I know I get loud. I might have to calm it down someday, especially if the Mennonites come among us. You get that? But in reality, we think that we're going to get people to see. And honest to God, you can't get nobody to see. That is true. And you can't get one person saved.

SPEAKER_01

That's so true. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

But you can get somebody a stumbling stone over you.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. That's a nugget.

SPEAKER_02

You can't get no one saved, but you can become a bad spirit and a stumbling stone. You can be a little liar, a little troublemaker, gossip all the time, show all kinds of bad spirits to people. You're needed though. When God's done with you, he'll fold you up and get rid of you. I hope to God he don't fold any of us up. I hope to God he changes every one of us. But right now we're like every other church. We have pros and cons. I told Brother Justin and his wife yesterday, I said, you're not coming among the perfect church. Do you know that? But you know what God's after? A perfect core. A perfect core to the church. There'll never be a perfect church until God takes a church out of a church.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. There you go.

SPEAKER_02

When God takes the church out of the church, that church that comes out of the church will be like the rib that came out of Adam's side. A beautiful bride. Perfect in every way.

SPEAKER_03

Amen. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

So I'd like to be a part of that bride member, wouldn't you? Somebody said, I want to be in the bride. You better get saddled up. You're going to have one one tremendous ride.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. Yep. Get ready.

SPEAKER_02

You will be exposed in ways that you never even thought that you could be exposed in. And you will definitely come to the revelation that you and I are always going to give an account for what we do and nobody else. And the blame game will go out the window with God. The first blame game there ever was is when God commanded Adam to keep his wife in order. And you know the story. Something happened to her. She got deceived. And who deceived her? The serpent. The serpent deceived her. That's right. And so when God came in the cool of the evening, Adam was hiding behind a tree, like as if he could hide.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

And God said, Where art thou, Adam? He said, Over here behind this tree. He said, What are you hiding behind a tree for? Because I'm naked. Who told you you was naked? There you go. Here comes the blame game. The woman that you gave to me told me I was showed me I was naked. Then he looked at Eve and he said, What happened to you, Eve? She looked around, she said, The serpent beguiled me.

SPEAKER_01

Tell us. Yeah. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

You know this little church has got a revelation. Huge. That everybody is waiting to hear. Amen. They're fighting paper dragons. They're fighting like Santa Claus. Sooner or later, you've got to tell your kid Santa Claus ain't real. That's it.

SPEAKER_04

Huge key. Huge key.

SPEAKER_02

When you understand what we're warring against, the devil won't hide anymore.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

No matter how hard you try to hide from God, you and I are an open book.

unknown

Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_02

That's right, amen. And thank God we are. Thank you for listening to me. But I thank God that we have a revelation on the serpent.

unknown

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

Wasn't that amazing how God just came in last service when I was talking about the serpent? And then I related it over to where John the Baptist saw him coming, and he said, Who's warned you to flee from the wrath of God? Ye serpents and vipers? Why did he say serpents and vipers? Because I will pick up a gardener snake, but I dare pick up a copperhead.

SPEAKER_03

That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_02

I don't pick up snakes, period. Why would he say serpents and vipers? Because a serpent can just be something that's cunning and crafty, but not so harmless. But you know what a viper is? A viper, he or she is not only cunning and crafty, but if they bite you, they will poison you.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Possibly kill you.

SPEAKER_02

Two totally different. And so when Jesus called Moses, he called Moses, and Moses said, How do you suppose I'm going to do these things? And he said, What's in your hand? Like as if he had to ask. He wanted Moses to talk out loud to him. He said, It's a rod. He said, Lift it up and throw it down. Lift it up and throw it down. And when Moses lifted up that staff and threw it down and hit the earth, it became a serpent. And he jumped back from it. And God said, Don't be scared. Grab it by its tail.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And then Jesus said, those that follow me, that's my children, I'll teach them to pick up serpents and vipers and scorpions. And they'll drink anything. And if it's deadly, it will not harm them. But don't go drinking until you're fixed. That's right. Very good. That's right. Where you've got enough gospel that you're not hood-winked. Amen. Then finishing this. Not only did that happen with that rod, and you look at that as the word of God, God sent his beloved son to this earth, and he took on the nature of the flesh. He took on the carnal mind. He took on the serpent.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And then what did he do? He crucified the serpent. Just like in the book of Genesis, when the Bible says that he looked at the serpent and he said, What about you? People want to put a third entity in their garden. There was no third entity. There was just two people in the nature of the flesh.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody said, Well, why did God get upset? Because Adam and Eve was told to procreate. Yeah, when God told them to. And the biggest test for any young people, any old people, any middle class people, is the wait on God to give you a mate. Brother, if you go ahead of God, you'll just fix yourselves what you're going to do. Amen. And so when God spoke to Adam and Eve there in the garden, what did he tell the serpent? Because of what you've done, upon thy belly thou shalt go, and dust thou shalt eat all the days of thy life. You know, we all eat dust every day. Carrots, cabbage, green beans, everything comes out of the earth. But most of all, our nature comes from the earth. Natural, carnal, subject to the flesh at all given times. Brother, you guys has heard something today. I'd sit down right now. You've got more than most people will ever get.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. In a lifetime.

SPEAKER_02

There's been a little price paid for it. But I have full intentions. Long as God gives me breath, I have full intentions on fulfilling my father and the Lord's request for me. Your shoes will fit me just fine, Brother Connell. Amen. When you hear Brother Connell preach, you're hearing the older brethren. They're not dead. Some of them's under the golden altar, but you're hearing them through your pastor. Who planted me is who's planting you now. Amen. Hallelujah. I'll close. We're going to sing. Make an effort to praise God today. You've had enough bread today that without praising God, he's going to be disappointed in you. That don't mean you got to do anything. It just means get your heart thankful that you're hearing something that the world is dying to hear. That's right. Amen. And no matter what the serpent has tricked you into, trick him back. Be as wise as that serpent and begin to do something with your spirit, your attitude, and your priorities, your map, MAP, mode of attitude and priority, so that you don't end up a tear.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, amen. Praise the Lord. There you go.

SPEAKER_02

Brother, where did all that come from?

SPEAKER_03

Praise God. Straight from the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_02

Don't you want to build? Don't you want to see God bring souls in?

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Well, bring good people. Well, none of us is good.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

You came bad. They're coming bad. And we're still bad. And he said, I'm not bad. That's what you think. You just haven't had enough fire put down in your life yet. That's right. That is true. That's right. But when God begins. That put you through the fire baptism, you become small and he becomes great. Yes. Paul said, I'm at my greatest when I'm at my weakest. That's right. Amen. Praise God. And so, in closing, my thoughts, isn't it peculiar that all through that New Testament church, all through them scriptures in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, that it talks about the serpents. Paul spoke about Eve being deceived by the serpent. And he gives us a key when he says, as Eve was deceived by the serpent, so don't let your minds. Yes. That's right. That's where the serpent lives in the carnal mind. Don't let your minds be deceived. And then, isn't it peculiar that when they was murmuring and complaining, you know, I criticize the Israelite people for murmuring and complaining, and I'm a hypocrite.

SPEAKER_01

Me too.

SPEAKER_02

I'm a genuine preacher hypocrite. Somebody said, I don't know about that. Well, I know about it. Because a hypocrite is one that teaches others and shows you how to live for God, but don't do it himself. Somebody say, Well, are you living bad? No, I'm not living bad, but I'm not here to tell you that I'm ready to fly away. I'm not ready to move out of this body, a live soul. If I die tonight, I'm gonna have to wait on the final resurrection because I know where my giants is at, and I know that I knock them down, but they keep getting back up. But when the lot of rain breaks out and the most powerful spirit from God the Father enters into the church, those things that we have struggled with will not overknock them down. He'll give us the power to grab a hold of the hair of those giants in our life and just cut their heads off. Amen. Dance around with them. Amen. And so it's peculiar that when they got to complaining in the wilderness, now some people think the serpent's a fallen angel. I don't know. Somebody told me I shouldn't use this word, so I'll try not to use it. But boy, it's right there. I want to say it. Poppy cosh. Somebody told me, Brother Connelly shouldn't use that word. I didn't know it, and I still don't remember it, or I might be having to repent for saying it again. But to me it always meant rubbish. No, it's just all fictitious. Nothing real to it. But when those children of Israel got complaining about the manna, can you imagine being in bondage? Being a slave for 400 years, your ancestors in slavery, and God delivers you with a man named Moses and a little stick in his hand. Yes. That's it. Delivers all those million and a half Jews out of that bondage, and then they get out, and just a few days after they was out, they begin to murmur and complain. He brought us out here to kill us. No water. They came to a little pond or a little oasis. And they got to murmur and complaining and saying the water's bitter. And God told Moses, he said, cut that tree down over there and throw it in the water. And when he threw it in the water, the water became sweet. You know, no matter how bitter life's been to you, no matter how much gall you've got in your life, no matter how bad you've been hurt, no matter how much you're bruised, if you find that tree of life, it'll sweeten you up. Yes, amen, amen. That's right. And so they begin to murmur and complain. And guess what God tells Moses to do? Throw a bunch of brass in the fire, Moses, and get your coppersmiths to form a big brass serpent, put it on a pole, and everybody that's been bitten by these fiery serpents, because that's what God done, he sent fiery serpents among them for murmuring, complaining about everything. You know that fiery serpents is still, listen to this preacher. Them fiery serpents is still here today. If you're never happy, if you're always troubled, if you have no peace, look and see if the serpent hasn't bit you.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, amen. There you go.

SPEAKER_02

And so when God said, Raise that serpent up in the wilderness, and everybody that looks upon it shall be healed. Then let's go over. Now, isn't that funny that if Satan was a serpent, that we're gonna get healed by looking towards a serpent? No, when you get a revelation of the serpent in the garden, you're gonna question all the rest of the scriptures about the devil.

SPEAKER_03

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. But that serpent in the garden, God said, put it up on a pole. And everybody that's been bitten by the serpent, somebody said, I've never been bitten by a serpent. You were bit by the serpent when you were born.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Is bitten by a nature that's contrary to God.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

We're all born with it. That's why we must be born again. Amen. So the serpent doesn't live with us forever, but we begin to crucify him.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

And so in closing, they looked upon that brass serpent, and they were healed. Then you tie in all the other scriptures that Jesus called them serpents and vipers, and John called them serpents and vipers. And then you go over to the book of John, the third chapter, and Jesus himself says this as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up. But whosoever looks upon him shall be healed. Amen. God sent his only begotten son two thousand years ago, not with the nature of angels, but with the nature of a man, and for sin, condemn sin right in the flesh, because this is where the problem's at. It ain't somewhere out here, it ain't somebody over there. It's you and you and you.

SPEAKER_03

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

You are the problem.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Praise God. And brother, you'll never go anywhere blaming your problems on somebody else. That's right. That's right. Every man, every woman will stand before God that gets to stand before God and give an account that they've done while they're living in this body.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

There's gonna be people come through that door that they are the serpent 100%. They're gonna come provocative, they're gonna come full of rebellion, they're gonna come gossiping and talking and tattletelling and stirring up as much dirt and garbage as they can. You know why? Because the church is just like Noah's Ark. Three floors in it. The first floor was carnivorous people, animals rather. Carnivorous floor was the first floor of the ark. Them characters on the first floor had sharp teeth, and they was in the most darkest part of the ship, the bottom of it.

unknown

Yes, they were flesh eaters.

SPEAKER_02

They was flesh eaters. Unfortunately, we all have the uh the ability to eat and devour one another.

unknown

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

We have to grow up to get to the second floor. I'll close with this. I fetch you so much it's running out your ears. I hope to God you all got several bellies so you can regurgitate this up and chew on it tomorrow and chew on it Tuesday, chew on it Wednesday. Chew on it until you come back Sunday, and I'll fill your bellies again.

SPEAKER_03

We asked amen.

SPEAKER_02

If God will allow me. What was I gonna say so that we can go to this song? The second floor had clean animals in it. It just meant that it was the animals that their teeth was blunt. They wasn't carnivorous, they didn't chew on each other. They could be left alone and not come back and find several dead. And then the third floor is where Noah and his family lived all alone up there, and they were the ones that only had a little cubit of light that came down upon Noah and his family, and the rest of the floors had to see the filtered light get down to them.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

And what was on the ark? There were skunks on the ark. Somebody said, What's the skunk represent? People that go around stinking things up. Making a stink over the most silliest little things you ever heard of in your life. There were some giraffes in there. What's the giraffe about, Brother Connell, that was on Noah's Ark? It's them people that's always got their neck in somebody else's business. Got enough in your own backyard, but you're gonna stick your nose over in everybody else's backyard.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_02

What else was on the ark? And I'll I'll move over. There was some um there were some ostriches on the ark. What do they represent, uh, Brother Connell? That you ever see an ostrich? They say when an ostrich gets real scared, they don't do anything but find a hole, dig a hole, and bury their head in it. They stick their head in it. You ever see people that they won't face their problems? They'd just rather bury their head and feel sorry for themselves.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

What else is on the ark? Huh? Bear? Yeah, there were bears on the ark. What's a bear? It's a grumpy old spirit that wakes up on the back side of the bed every day. And just grumpy. Don't bother me today, I'm grumpy. Well my god, that's what you're trying to kill. The grumpy spirit. Yes. Well, I've been trying to kill it for 20 years. Just don't quit. That's right. Amen. Keep on killing it. Keep on saying no to that grumpy spirit. And so, what else was on there? Huh? Goats. Goats and sheep. Ain't it funny how God likens God's children upon sheep? And he also likens us on the goats. What's the difference between a sheep and a goat? Attitude. Attitude. Try to move a try to move a goat. I jumped over the fence in the children's zoo one time, and there were some goats in there, and grabbed him by his horns. Man, he just kept pushing back. I'd push him, he'd push me back. And then I went over to the sheep, and those sheep, my Lord, they just follow you around, pet them. The nature of a goat and the nature of a sheep is what God calls his people. The goats are those that God can't do anything with. They're too strong-spirited. Somebody said, Well, I think I'm a goat. Well, unfortunately, we probably all got some goat in us. But we want the sheep to take over the goat, dog. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

And there was some sheep in there. What else was in there? Oh, there were some turtles in there. Well, maybe they've swimming around, but I'll just say they were in there. You know what a turtle is? It's those people that carry their little feelings. Me little feelings are always out on my sleeve. And the moment that you hurt their little feelings, they tuck their head away in a shell and they kick, then they just say, I'm not coming out. You hurt my feelings. You little baby you. What else was on there? Porcupines. Come on, help me, church. Porcupines. You know what a porcupine is? It's people that, if you get too close to them, they'll shoot a quill in you faster than you can move out of the way. What do you mean, a quill? Hey, do you know what so-and-so did? A quill. Shooting right from you, you porcupine. Yeah. I hope you get under condemnation today. I hope you want to change those beastly natures. I hope we want to grow up.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

So all those animals that got on that ark, they were personality traits that you and I all have. But thank God, thank God, you have found the church where the spirits of just men and women are made perfect.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Mature, developing. And God's going to send the angels forth at the end time of this Gentile world, and he will reap the fields. Praise God. I'll close with this. I keep saying that, so I've got to repent, repent, repent. Moses had to draw a line in the sand when he said, Come down off of the mountain, and those Israelites were so full of rebellion, so full of idolatry, that they threw all their earrings into a fire, and Aaron molded a golden calf. You know, when you got a God in your life, you do away with your hearing spiritually. You lose your ears with God. That's right. Because that nature blinds you and keeps you from hearing. I want to sit down. Where was I at so I can close?

SPEAKER_03

When Moses came off the mountain.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, when Moses coming off of that mountain, he said, All that's on God's side, come over here. I'm saying to all you over today. Who's on Brother Connell's side? Yes, amen. Because I'm on God's side.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

You know what though? Churches get split and splintered over the serpent getting in the midst of the church services, and over egos, big eyes and little U's, and over names. I got news for you. Don't think the Connell family is anything great. We're everything but great.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

unknown

Preach it.

SPEAKER_02

That's it. You got that?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

We're everything but great.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

When you look at our background, my God, the mercy that's had on the Connell family. Yes, amen.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

But how come I don't know? But he's called the Connell family to help build. But not only the Connell family, but the Williams family. All the families that's in here. You've been called to build for God.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

You young people. Honest to God, if I could take my head off just for a few days and put it on your head, Anthony. Put it on your head, Anthony, and I and Addison and Jack.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

All the young people, I'd put my head right on your shoulders, and in a few days you'd come to me and say, Man, my God-grandpa, the things I used to think, I don't think them anymore. You know why? Because God's got to get you out of the world enough and give you enough insight about the things of God that you don't ride the yellow line in this highway of life, Jack. Amen. That's right. Amen. Don't ride the yellow line. Sooner or later, the devil's coming down the other side on the other side of the yellow line. And a big bad accident's coming.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_02

Pay attention to the signs in the road. There you go. When it says there's a swerve in the road, God can tell you there's a swerve coming your way. Slow down. Take a look at your dangers.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Amen.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

But you know, sometimes people got to learn the hard way. That's right. Unfortunately, I don't want to see any of us learn the hard way. And you know what I want to see? Everybody not hanging on the ark, but go ahead and get in.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. That's right. Get you a seat. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

You can hang around this and hang around it. And you ain't in. Somebody says, How do you know when you're in? You'll know when you're in because you can't get out.

SPEAKER_03

That's right, amen. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I fed you so much, forgive me. But don't forgive me. Praise the Lord. Shouldn't we pray? Then we'll sing. Come on, let's rise up. Should we pray? Well, I don't know. After that, we probably need prayer. But not really, do we? How many of you have got any of that? Very good. Very good. Praise God. Glory. Hallelujah for ears to hear. How many of you want to be wheat? Yes. You know, we all got some tear in us, though. Oh, yes. Every child of God's got some tear in us. That's right. We're trying to purge the tear out so that we can become pure wheat in the eyes of God. Let's pray for the Huggins family. When are you going back, brother? Tomorrow. Hasn't it been a joy to have that family in the midst of us? Wasn't it a joy Thursday night in the backyard of elder brother Timothy Connell? Yes, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. To be baptized, see our dear sister. Yes. Both of our dear sisters baptized in that water. Wasn't that precious? Very amen. What a miracle God is. The Gainer family. They're like me up in age. And to find this, to find this, God led you to this. You can't find this. God has to lead you to this. That's right. Amen. So we're thankful for that. Who else needs prayer today? Sister Becca. She goes tomorrow for cataract surgery. Said she's scared. Well, you know, when you're having some procedure done, and if they're putting you to sleep, are they putting you to sleep or no? Well, I know when I had them stints put in my heart, I thought I was a goner. My arm got numbed, felt like an elephant sitting on my chest. Doctors, I hollered over the curtain, I said, Hey. So what, Ken? I said, Am I supposed to feel like an elephant sitting on my chest? And my arm feels like somebody's trying to cut it off. He hollered out, Nitroglycerin. Instantly the elephant left, and I got to feeling better. But you know, when I was on that table, I got to thinking, my God, I'm not ready to go. Guide this surgeon's hands. Give me a few more years, Lord. I want to go. I'd like to move out a live soul. I know what I'm asking. If I don't make it, I don't make it, but I'm gonna strive to make it. I'm gonna strive to make it. Anybody else? Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Brother Gainers. Yeah, they're on the road driving. I prayed for them knowing that this morning. God give them safety. Amen. Amen. Who else?

SPEAKER_00

Brother called. My brother called this morning. And him and his wife, a friend of theirs, and uh Karen actually works with my sister Laura Lynn. Their daughter, I think she's about 30. She has two children. Mary has two children. She took her life this morning. This morning she stepped out from the train. Oh Jesus. And they're all just just that family just needs a prayer.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. You know how many suicides now is in our nation? Oh yeah. They're terrible. It's because people don't have no hope. No, hardly any hope for them. How many of you brethren are gonna stand with Brother Connell? Raise your hand. Yes, Lord. You're gonna stand with me? When I draw my sword, are you gonna draw your sword?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, amen.

SPEAKER_02

If you're up speaking, I'll draw my sword with you. Amen. And it really ain't gonna make no difference, Brother Jason, in the end time, who's up behind the pulpit? Is all he wants from all of us, brethren, is to send the proper ammunition to whoever who's shooting the gun and not send different calipers. That's right. Unity. Unity. Man, we have heard something today. Yes, amen. Praise God. Who else? Praise the Lord. Wouldn't you like to see Brother Tim and Sister Loretta's oldest son come up and visit us? Yeah, amen. I'd love that. Let's pray for our young people. Yes. I love the young people. Do you think I want to see Jack or any of these young people or Crystal or anybody go out in the world and then have to worry about if they ever find their way back? No. My God, no. I hope to God you can listen to some of the people in this church. Not play around with your life. Yes. But get in the ark and just shut the door behind you and find out how much peace and safety there is when you've made your mind up to go all the way. That's right, amen.

SPEAKER_03

Anyone else? Praise the Lord. There's some medical situations in the church. We know so that's all. But prayer would be that the church would pray. God can heal these situations. Alright, doctor, whatever. Some of these ailments that we have in our bodies. God knows He knows everyone's church. That we pray as a church for each other.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. I'd like to be delivered of diabetes. I got a devil. Got a devil? Sure do. It's an adversary to my body. Them shots every day, you know how sick I get of those shots. I get tired of pricking my finger every day and tired of taking those shots. I'd like for God to heal me of that devil. It's an adversary to my flesh. I'd like to be healed. How many of you want healed of a bad spirit? Oh, yes. Yes, Lord. How many of you want to be healed of a critical spirit? Yes, Jesus. How many of you want to be converted from a porcupine? Yes, Lord. We all want to grow, don't we? Yes, Lord, yes, Lord. And we'll grow as we apply ourselves from the things of God. Who else? Who else? Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Well, just to keep hold of the willow stick that's guiding us to the water and not take it off that water together.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

You found the water, and this is continue on with it.

SPEAKER_02

Keep on. Yeah. Unplug the wells of Abraham. Yes, Jesus. How many of them want a drink of water? Yes. You got stuffed with bread, you know that, don't you? Yes. I just stuffed your whole basket full of bread. Yes, Lord. Go ahead and get you a good drink of wine. Amen. Spirit of God comes in here. Throw your hands up. Let God touch you. Let God deliver you. How many of you want a closer walk with Him? Want a closer walk with Him? Yes, Jesus. Praise God. How many of you want God to change your mind of always bouncing back whether I should serve Him or whether I should go in the world? A double-minded man can only be stabilized by God stabilizing that double mind. Praise God. Yes, Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Anyone else? Dear Lord, we thank you, dear God. I appreciate your anointing today on my life.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

I thank you for the things, dear God, that you put in my mind today. Thank you. To feed the sheep of God today, Lord. I thank you for everyone that's here. Knowing that they're probably all tired from last night and all the work that's been done. My prayer as a pastor today, dear God, is that when the music starts up, that we'll see you in a mighty way, touching our tired bodies, honoring our sacrifice of praise today. Thank you, Jesus. And dumping out the waters of salvation upon those that want it, dear God. Thank you. We love you. We thank you. You might be here by today for several to get the Holy Ghost. Jesus, Jesus. You're in charge, Lord. Love you, Lord. Every request, every unspoken request. Dear God, we just ask you to be mindful of us. In your sweet name, we pray. Praise your name. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.
