Praise God. Let's all rise and go to the Lord in prayer. Hopefully everybody has repented today. Uh I try to repent every day. Sister Connell and I will have a prayer every day and always ask God to forgive me every day because God's ways are so high above our ways that the children of Israel offered a burnt offering on a daily condition before the Lord for ignorant sins. And uh God's ways is so high above our ways. But without repentance in our life, we could be carrying around sin from yesterday, five days ago, a month ago. That's why it's very important to repent every day on a daily basis with God to keep everything clear before us in the Lord. But uh we've got some um announcements. The men's bathroom has uh don't have no running water. I guess everything works except for the sink. And so there's a bathroom back here through a kitchen back here, and then there's a little place outside there somewhere that's got a family restaurant right out that door. And uh we want to remember Brother Tim Gaynor that goes in Tuesday for a knee replacement. Brother Luke will have a lot of empathy there for knowing he's gone through that. And uh uh anybody else here today, we want to remember Sister Becky. We're thankful that she had uh that her surgery on her eye was successful so far, good. And uh who else got a request here? I have a spoken protocol. Unspoken request. I've always got an unspoken request. There's always something that I'm trying to bring under submission to God. So uh anyone else? Well, let's worship today. Yeah, let's uh let's have a mind to praise God. Somebody said if you've got breath, that it should be spent praising God. Amen. I think the scripture says everything that has breath, it's in the word of God, praise ye the Lord. That's right. So the only excuse is you're not breathing. That's right. Other than that, we need to be thankful to be in the house of God, don't we? Praise the Lord. I don't tell the people enough, I won't keep you standing, but I appreciate coming in here on a Sunday and seeing the same faces uh every Sunday. It really means something to God, our faithfulness and our commitment to come to the house of God. Yes. God's watching us. Is there a time when God's watching the church? It's right now. He's watching the church and what we're gonna do in this wicked world that we're in. Amen. And so we're thankful for all of you. So don't tell the brothers, don't tell the sisters enough how much I appreciate your faithfulness and your commitment to love and to serve God. It'd be a lonely walk if we just walked this alone with it. That is true. But uh, we're thankful for each other. We're like a family here. Even though we have our differences and we have our own backgrounds, this is where God blends the people of God together. That's right. And we need to bend and blend with one another and bear with one another until we don't need to bear anymore. And that's only gonna happen as we go high up on the mountain. Higher up on the mountain. So we appreciate everybody being here today. Anyone else with a request? Praise the Lord. Please, Jesus. All right, everybody must be in pretty good shape. That's true. Thank you today. So, dear Lord, we thank you today. We appreciate everything, dear God. We thank you for all the saints that's gathered here today, Lord. We're appreciative, dear God, for your hand to be a covering on our life in this world we're in. I pray, dear God, for every need, whether it be physically, spiritually, most of all, financially, Lord, whatever it may be, all the unspoken requests, dear God, you know the souls of each and every child of God here today. You know what we have need of before we even ask. Love you. I pray, dear God, that if there's anything in any of our lives that would hinder you in any way here today, that you would touch that, that you would forgive us, that you would put us back in a right standing with you. We thank you, Lord, today. We pray, dear God, that your will would be done throughout this whole service today. That we give the reins to you, Lord, whatever you want to God this day, Lord. We thank you, Lord. I want to thank you for my health. I want to thank you for being alive today, Lord. I want to thank you for another day, dear God, that I can raise my hands to you, Lord. Hallelujah. Thank you for your mercy, all the things I've ever put you through, Lord. Thank you today, Lord. Everything that I've ever troubled you today with, Lord. I pray, dear God, today, Lord, that your sweet spirit will enter into the hearts of everyone that's here today. Oh, God, and we'll see just how precious of a walk we have with you, Lord. Jesus, in your sweet, precious name. Yes, Lord. We love and thank you today. Praise your name, Lord. Amen, amen, amen, Lord.
SPEAKER_00I thank God for I just want to repeat what I told all the brothers. I'm thankful for my father. Thankful for my brother sitting there. I'm thinking, thankful for all my brothers and sisters. Absolutely. I'm thankful for the father that sits above. I'm thankful for that grace and mercy I felt in here today. I'm thankful once in a while that he'll put on us, uh, he says he wouldn't put on us more than we could bear, but he'll take us right to the brink.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00He'll take us right to the edge, to where it's almost possible to fall over, to fall off. Really? But he don't let us. He won't let us. But he'll take us right to the brink from time to time. So I just wanted to stand before the assembly today and thank God. Thank God from where he's brought us all from. Thanking the Lord. I woke up uh yesterday with certain burdens and certain people on my mind, and I woke up this morning and I felt like the Lord was telling me, again, reiterating it in my mind, what causes a child to be spoiled? What spoils us? What spoils children when you buy them things and they don't take care of what you buy them? They're non-appreciative. They don't appreciate things, and that's what causes us to be spoiled. What'd you what's the word, Brother Tim, you used?
SPEAKER_01Ungrateful.
SPEAKER_00Ungrateful. It's easy just to do this walk. It's easy just to walk this walk and be a Christian. And try, yeah, so to speak. And try to do this and try to be different from the world and try to strive and try to pay attention to the word of God and try to uphold the truth and try to pray and try to fast and uh and try to do this. But it's easy just to get to doing that. It's easy just to get to walking the line, just living the motion, living in the motion, a hamster running on its will inside the cage.
SPEAKER_01That's right, that's right.
SPEAKER_00And that's all he does. I've owned several hamsters over the years, all the way up till they pass, and you gotta dig them out of there. One hamster I had years ago died in a little shelter that I put in there, and I couldn't get him out of there. Rigamortis set in real quick, Brother Tim. Yeah. And I couldn't get him out of there, so I buried the whole little thing that he died in out in the backyard. But watching him for three years, he was about three and a half years old, and that's a good long life for a hamster. All he'd done was barrel down under the sawdust and the chips that you put in there and make him a little bed. And me and my sister Teresa and Brother Tim was young, but we'd throw toilet paper in there, and he'd stuff it in his little jaws and fill his jaws full of that toilet paper, and then he'd go in there and make him a little bed, and he'd fall asleep. He'd get up from sleeping, he would eat a couple of his little pellets, he would drink some water and run on his will, go to the bathroom, run on his will some more, drink his water, go back to bed. And he'd done that for three and a half years.
SPEAKER_03Repetition.
SPEAKER_00Over and over and over. Oh, how sad if I get to doing that.
SPEAKER_02Amen, bro. That's good.
SPEAKER_00There's more to this life to live more abundantly than we ever could imagine. Absolutely. There is a life that God wants us to learn how to live and live it abundantly.
SPEAKER_02Amen. That's good.
SPEAKER_00You can't do it so much in the natural. You gotta mix some spirit in there once in a while. All the time. All the time. All the time. There you go, brother Connell. I uh get to tinkering in the garage and I get to messing around with mopeds, and I get to, you know, I was off week, I was off work for a week.
unknownThat's good.
SPEAKER_00I've been, I took five vacation days and was off the whole week after the fourth. Pray for me tomorrow, brothers and sisters. I gotta get up at 7 o'clock. I've been sleeping until 11. Me and Mandy, I wake up at 10:30 and I was like, man, this is great. Stay up and watch movies and sleep half the day. I said, I wish I could retire. I told her yesterday, I wish I could retire right now. My mind got to racing thinking how I could pull that off. They got it almost impossible. And by the time you get there, you're about to ready to go to the grave. And that's what they got too in mind. What a shame. I do not want to run this race in vain.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00I refuse to serve God from here on out and not gain something from it.
SPEAKER_02Amen. That's it. Good thought.
SPEAKER_00To serve God is great gain. To be content, be happy with what you got. I had a seven-day Adventist, a couple fellows stopped by the house the other day, and I was on vacation, so I was out there tinkering around with the Toyota and wiping it down and checking the oil and two seven-day Adventists, young, nice, pleasant young men, good spirited, rode up on bikes and said, Hey, can we invite you this Sunday to church? And I said, Yeah, you certainly can. I was like, I'll probably be in my church more than likely. Oh, where do you go to church? I said, The Gospel Truth Assembly. My father's the pastor. Oh, okay. And they're, you know what? I'm just gonna be honest with you, their whole tone changed after that. Right? Let's just call it where it's called. They just completely changed on me. It was getting ready right away. They didn't want to know. I said, Well, before you take off, let me invite you to my church. Where's it at? I had a chance to tell them where it was at. I was like, it's the Gospel Truth Assembly. Come and see us. I was like, I'm not telling you I won't come and visit you. I think they're right down there on Waterloo at the Seven-day Adventist church, right there in Waterloo and Coventry. Nice church, beautiful. But uh, they drove away. And I praised God for what we have in here. That's right, brother. I thank God for Brother Connell that those shoes fit from Brother Sauders' feet right onto his.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00You know, the Seven Day Adventists got some light.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00They don't have as much light as we have. That's right. They do not have as much light as God's blessed this church with. That's right, brother. A lot of churches around the nation and around the world have some light.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00They have light. They know how to get you saved. Absolutely. They can get you water baptized, but they stop right there, a lot of them.
unknownBecause they have to.
SPEAKER_00Because they have to. They follow a program. They do what they've been taught to do.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00They do what the school they went to tells them what to do. And if they get out of line and they don't obey the program, they get voted out. Or they're simply asked to go somewhere else and work. We do not want to employ you no more. We will not give you a paycheck no more. Go find another job. In here, there's no dollar bills that can ever get us where we need to go. There's no paycheck. There is a paycheck, but it's spiritual. Brother Connell didn't go off to schools of theology. That's right. He did not go off and learn stuff. He learned stuff all right from a brotherhood that was called of God. That hashed out the word of God for over a hundred years and got it right. They got it right. They got these major doctrines down. And so I do not want to become unappreciative. When I was growing up, my family, my parents would buy me certain toys that I still have to this day. Little trinkets, not worth nothing, maybe to a collector, that they're not worth nothing to me because I tell the family all the time they're only worth if I would sell, but I'm not selling them. Only if the Lord told me to sell them. But my point is here, by taking care of the toys that was bought for me back in 1974, I got some little things that I still have from when I was born, 1972. You know, I have two safety pins that held my diaper on when I was a baby. Now that is, I'm just being honest, that's kind of silly, but my mom had them in a jewelry box years ago. That's cool. Two safety pins with little duck heads on them. And they was clicked together, and I pulled these out, what, 20 years? I said, what is these, mom? Those was yours, baby. Still calls me. Those was yours, honey. I was like, that held my diaper on? Yep. I was like, I'm taking them home. That's pretty unique. Absolutely. Sometimes I still gotta get them out and put them on.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. That's good.
SPEAKER_00Sometimes I still gotta have my diaper pinned on. That's it, bro. That's good. Sometimes Mandy's got a pin a diaper on me.
SPEAKER_02Oh, God.
SPEAKER_00Sometimes the Lord's got a pin a diaper on me. Absolutely. I'm sick of him having to pin a diaper on a 53-year-old man. Praise God. I gotta be ashamed. But, buddy, we're going on with God.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00There's a paycheck coming, Brother Alex. You receive a paycheck down there with Brother Jay and Brother Ronnie and Sister Crystal, what, every Wednesday or Thursday, whenever you get paid every two weeks, whatever it is. But buddy, there's a paycheck coming for those that love God.
SPEAKER_02That's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00Those that hold on and endure to the end. Those that hold on, Sister Crystal, you say, Well, what do I have to endure? Whatever the Lord asks you to endure. That's right. Not getting your questions answered when you want them answered. Not getting your house when I want it. Not getting a husband when I want it. Not anything. I could go on all day about things that we have questions on. And when I learn to surrender them over to the king of all kings, the man that can answer any question, the man that sees through us like we're a crystal clear glass. Amen. When I learn to surrender my life over to him, God will make up your mind for you.
SPEAKER_02Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God.
SPEAKER_00He'll have his way. It's so easy for me to go around saying, Lord, have your way with me when I'm in his way.
SPEAKER_02That's right. That's good.
SPEAKER_00Oh God, have your way with me, but let me stand in your way. Praise God. What? A dummy. It's like I told Brother Tim the other day. If you walk up to an orange tree and you ask that tree why it's not giving you bananas, you are silly. That's right. That's right. Every tree will bear what it is, good or bad. I might say, well, I want to do this. And I if you've been called for the ministry, God will show you that eventually. That's right. If you've been called with that kind of target on your soul to work in the ministry or be a part of leadership or be a part of the five-fold ministry, don't think for a second that God is not going to tell you, brethren, who's been called for that five-fold ministry. He might make you sit there and wait a long time. It depends on you and your spirit. How long I wait on things and how I am very short-fused in some areas in my life. Other areas I could just bear and bear and bear. And you might say, My gosh, how do you deal with that? That's something in my life that don't bug me. There's other things that bug me, and I want to address it yesterday. But I'm learning to put my sword away, so to speak. I'm learning to yield it over to the Lord. I'm learning to wait on Jesus. Waiting is the worst thing about serving the Lord that possibly could be. Waiting, patience. Very hard. Waiting. It's one of the things, brother, that you got to go through, and God has to, and you say, Well, I got it, and He's got to show you, no, you don't have it, I'm going to make you wait some more. Well, I got it, no, you don't, I'm going to make you wait some more. And most of our waiting depends truly upon us. But I'm so strong-spirited that I don't figure that out right away. It takes me years of waiting, waiting to say, My gosh, are you kidding me? That's all I had to do?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Simply put, fall down on the rock and be busted. Be broke.
SPEAKER_01Amen, brother.
SPEAKER_00God is coming back for a group of sisters and brothers that ain't no more of you and me left. What is going to produce the restored church? You and me? Brother, I can show you where I can get you real quick. Naturally speaking. No. There won't be no more of me and you. We'll be poured out. Our soul will be poured out almost unto death when God gets ready to wrap this thing up and restore the church. We are around the corner of a restored church.
SPEAKER_02I believe that.
SPEAKER_00What do you think is going to bring and produce the latter rain? The restored church. Amen.
SPEAKER_02They go hand in hand. That's right.
SPEAKER_00Brother, we are dealing with something, and we're trying to do something that's so serious that I don't think my little flimsy mind can comprehend it as of yet. Brother, we are going to be dealing with souls, not just 35. A lot. Yes, I believe that. And if we don't yield ourselves over to God and learn how to get spiritually minded, we're going to collapse under the weight.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_00The foundation is always going to take more than the people, than the than the walls that are erected on the foundation. The walls support the walls. The tubites support the drywall. The paint covers the drywall so it don't deteriorate when a little moisture sets in. But the foundation that holds the whole nine yards is what God has established in this assembly. Amen. He is an establishing, and he's going to continue to establish a foundation that is unmovable.
SPEAKER_02That's good.
SPEAKER_00You say, Am I a part of the foundation? Ask the Lord that. If you're in and you can't get out, you're very well part of the foundation. Brother Connell says it all the time. How do you know you're in? How do I know I'm into something? How do I know this is the body of Christ? How do I know this is where I belong? When you can't leave.
SPEAKER_01That's good.
SPEAKER_00I have tried to leave, Tim. Sure. I'm sorry, but your elder's telling you, I've tried to leave. Old Adam has jumped onto the throne in the last 20 years and said, Why don't you go do this? Why don't you do this? I've got a bad spirit. I've had a bad spirit. I've had bad spirits towards leadership. I've had bad spirits towards things that's not even important. Most of the things that I let get a hold of my crawl is frivolous. Most of the things that the Lord is starting to show me at 53 years old is pathetic to even get upset about.
SPEAKER_02Jesus, that's good, brother.
SPEAKER_00I want to be a part of the foundation. I want to see the Lateran movement. I want to be a supporter, if not a load bearer. The two by fours support the wall. Tell God to make you at least a two by four. At least make me part of the paint that goes on the wall. What is it, Tim?
SPEAKER_02Something.
SPEAKER_00Something.
SPEAKER_02Part of the house.
SPEAKER_00Part of the house. There you go. Part of what God is erecting. Part of what God He's giving us a permit to build.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00You've heard it over and over, but the Lord's given us a permit to do what we're doing. That's right. Brother Connell told me a story a couple months about a month ago, two or three weeks ago. He said he was building, when he was putting all that money into the home there, they was putting windows, uh, siding. He even had a roof put on. But as they was putting the windows and stuff in, he said a city man started driving around. The ones that, what do you call them, Tim? City inspector. A city inspector was driving around and shut him down. Walked up and knocked on the door and says, uh, sir, where is your permit to do what you're doing? He says, Well, sir, they're only putting windows in. They're not ripping anything down. Uh, you have to have a permit. Shut him down. If you don't have a permit to do what we're doing here today, God will eventually shut us down.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Man, we got a permit.
SPEAKER_02Amen. That's good.
SPEAKER_00God is permitting us to do what we're doing.
SPEAKER_03Amen. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
SPEAKER_00If not, you're gonna get shut down. Those guys drive around looking for people. Looking for to just to get their nose and stretch their neck into something that really they could just drive off down that wood and say, Let me leave that guy alone. He's upgrading his property, he's making it look a lot nicer, but let me go harassing. Let me go. Brother Mathis did this. Let me go get that man to fork out a couple hundred dollars just to put windows in his home and put a new vinyl siding on there. It's crooked. Everything's backwards. I want to upgrade my property. I want to make it nicer, a nicer area, a nicer apartment for people to come around and go, wow, that man is taking care of his house. He's really doing things nice. But they tell me, no. Without permits and the people that's been called to do that, you are not allowed to do it. Not only have we been called to do this, but we've also received our permit. There is a spiritual permit hanging on our door right now. That when the angels go to and forth and they seek, God's gonna send out his angels in the last days. He's gonna send them out. And they're gonna start to tear down the walls. They're gonna tell men of God that you do not have a permit to do what you're doing.
SPEAKER_02That's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00You ain't called to call to preach that. That's right. The angels that says will go there forth and to conquer. I believe it's gonna be even third heaven angels that's gonna be partaking in that. That's gonna be the earth-dwelling angels, mainly the ministry is gonna go forth to conquer, to shut people down, to tell them you are not been called. That's right. Do you preach the Holy Ghost baptism? No, we do not. Stop that. In Jesus' name, preach the Holy Ghost. Well, it's not even a thing anymore. Yes, it is. Yes, that's right, brother. Why are we all about it? If it's no longer available and it's no longer needed, why are we still receiving it?
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00It did not go away 2,000 years ago, it established itself. Paul said it's for you and them a far-off.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00We are a far-off people, folks. When God sends forth his angels to slay the giants and to open up the fossiled systems and to expose all the darkness and everything that's been done in darkness, everything that's been covered up, he's gonna shout it from the mountaintops. That's right. Everything that's been done in darkness and in secret, he will shout it out. I want to be right there with him. I want to be transparent. I want to be holding fast to Brother James and Brother William Sautters' messages.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00I don't want to let anything come in and creep in. I don't want a sealed house to get a hold of me. I don't want to be a sealed vessel. We look around and we go, well, that sealed house don't stand a chance. You know, most problems start from within. Oh, yes. It don't take nothing from out here. I am not worried about Babylon interfering with what we're doing. I worry more what happens within these four walls than anything. Absolutely. Most problems start from within your body.
unknownThat's good, brother.
SPEAKER_00We are a part of the body of Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_01That's very true.
SPEAKER_00How do you know? Because there's earmarks to prove it.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00You cannot say that you're a part of the body of Christ if you do not preach the Holy Ghost baptism. That is one of the biggest earmarks of the body of Christ. If you preach a devil and there's something causing you to go contrary, and you believe in a serpent that told them to eat a big red apple, that is false doctrine. Amen. Amen. That is false. Amen. And false, a little leaven leavens the whole entire thing. That's right. That false doctrine will cancel you out in the end. You'll say, I did all these things, but I believe in the devil. Step back here, get back to the back of the line. You must learn where the flesh dwells. You must learn what the flesh was. You must learn. But I've learned all these things. But I that the serpent caused me to do it. No, it did not. You caused yourself to do it. Get in the back of the line and learn what I've taught these. What do you think is going to teach Babylon? That's right. What do you think is going to teach them? The Latter range true church.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_00The church that hasn't been all sealed up.
SPEAKER_02That's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00A gate of hell. The gates of hell shall not prevail against what God's doing in these four walls. That's right. But the Lord spoke to me a couple weeks ago and said, you could have a gate of hell right in your body.
unknownAbsolutely.
SPEAKER_00I could have a gate of hell. I could have something down in my spirit that can cause division.
SPEAKER_02That's it.
SPEAKER_00Discord. Absolutely. You say towards who? Don't matter. Anybody. That's it. Anybody, especially those in leadership.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, most problems start from within, Tim. You can have a terminal ill disease in your body, and you don't know in a lot of people. Don't know until it's too late. But if they would have just had a good doctor to do an ultrasound or find that cancer and remove it before it spread throughout the whole body, they could have lived. But they didn't even know it, is my point. Most things start from within. We're worried about the gates of hell. We need to handle this. We need to worry about each other. There could be something from right within these four walls that could snuff me out right in the very end. That's right. Most of your accidents come within two miles from your destination. Most of your accidents, you're on your way within a mile and a half or a mile or two miles, I think it is. You wreck your car because you get impatient. You take that corner so fast because you know you're almost there. And you smash and hurt yourself or lose your life. We are approaching something, folks, out into the future that is very, very, very serious. Amen. This latter rain church and the church, the restored church that Jesus is coming back for, the church without spot, wrinkle, or any blemish. You might say, well, what are those spot wrinkles and blemishes? Anything that's not of God in you and mine spirit. That's it.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00Really simple. Anything that's in your spirit or my spirit that's not of God, it is not of God to sow discord.
unknownThat's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00It is not of God to go around being something at work and something different here. If you don't cuss here, don't cuss at work. I'm not correcting you, I'm just telling you. How do you know that, brother Jess? Because I used to do it.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00I would live for the devil on Fridays and come to church on Saturday when we was having our Saturday Bible studies. And God had to let me live that way for about two or three years. And finally one night he says, Are you gonna make up your mind and quit being a ridiculous hypocrite?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, it's good, brother.
SPEAKER_00And I fell out between two trees, and Brother Connell met me, and I finally gave my life to the Lord that night.
SPEAKER_01That's good, brother.
SPEAKER_00And then when I'd cuss at work, my heart would get the beaten and I'd have to go repent of my boss.
unknownYeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_00Let's just get real, folks. I've lost my temper on my boss, men I've worked with. Road rage is at an all-time high. People shooting and killing each other right down the road from me. There was another episode down there last night where they had the whole road blocked off. Brother, brother Connell is so right. If there's ever a time that we need Jesus, it is now. That song we sing more than ever before, Lord, I need you.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00More than ever before, Lord, I love you. I want to serve God, Brother Tim. I don't want to let anything get into my crawl that's going to separate me from God's people. Don't let anything that get into my crawl that's going to separate me from the body of Jesus Christ. We are a part of the body. We're not the only ones. We are not the only ones with this doctrine. Brother Connell sends out emails and messages and texts and forms that you can jump on, and they are preaching the same thing we're preaching. It's not everywhere, but we're not the only ones.
SPEAKER_03That's right, Red.
SPEAKER_00This truth is hid. And it's mostly like the Bible said, hid from the wise and the prudent. The wise of what? The wise of yourself. The wise of the world, the wise of all naturality, the wise of carnal things. God's gonna hide it from them. But if you fall down on the rock and you let the rock break you and you let God raise you up, that is part of serving God as you must fall from time to time.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00That is truly part of serving God. The key is whether you get back up or not. That's the key. So I don't want to let anything in my body affect me and affect my brothers and my sisters. I don't want to pollute what God's doing in here. Amen. If God's called me to build and be a part of foundation, then so be it. Build my spiritual mind muscle that I can bear the weight. When they come in and they pile in on us from every wind of doctrine, from every naturality, nationality, from every uh part of walk that you can come from. Sister Dana, Brother Alec, man, what when they come in, they're gonna be full of themselves.
unknownOh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Full of possibly babbling and things they thought that they thought was right. They're gonna come in possibly to try to change us.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like we've had in the past. We've had so many fellowship and so many visitors coming in, and they thought they were called to change us.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah.
unknownSure.
SPEAKER_00No, I don't say that boastfully, I say that humbly. No, brother, you have something, we have something that you need. That's right. And when you tell them that in a crying spirit broken, they run out the door in rebellion.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Now I've been called to show you your music's not quite right. There is a devil. You are a devil by teaching there's not a devil, Brother Connell's been told. That's funny. Jesus said, How do I do all these things from the devil?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Is the is Belsiebob causing me to produce these miracles? No. So when they start to come in, I want to be part to where I can bear. I can grin and bear. I can I can uh bear the burdens of the week. I can uh learn to bend and blend.
unknownOh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00How are we gonna learn to bend and blend anywhere if we can't do it here? That's exactly right. This is where it starts. It starts here and in your home. Don't expect your children to mind you when you don't make them mind at home.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00I've told Jay that. I've told other ones, I've told my brother that when my nieces was younger. Tim, you making them do that in the home? Well, yeah, but the home's the home. No, that's where it starts. It starts here. Here's our home. If you don't do it at work, or you don't do it here, don't do it at work. We used to go around in our youth in our youth, about 20 years ago, me and Mandy say, What what would Jesus say? What would Jesus do? If you don't do it here, don't do it anywhere else. That's right. If you don't curse and lust and do anything you want to do, then hold those same standards everywhere you go in your life.
SPEAKER_02That's right. That's right. That's godly.
SPEAKER_00And watch God start to back you and support you in ways that you never even thought possible. It all starts from within the home. That's it. You cannot make little Ezra go out to a restaurant and sit and eat his food and start to learn things. Even at ten months old, he is learning. At ten months, he's already turning around and looking at his father when he goes to grab the dog water bowl. He goes to grab it and slam it over and knock it, and Jay just looks at him, he pulls his hand and walks away. That's because Jay's been working with him in the home. When my children was younger, we made a mind, Brother Alex. When they was able to turn around and look at you and say, No, no, I'm gonna teach you the word no. And you don't have to do it mean. You have to be stern. You have to teach them that the word no means no. No ain't 50 no's. What do you do? You grab their arm and you push it back towards their body and say, I said no. They'll learn. They will learn not to grab the water bowl just by you taking their little arm and pushing it back. No, lowering your voice. Jesus is the same way with us. Once in a while I've heard him say, No, Jess. You woke up on the side the wrong side of the bed today. Do not take that out on your wife before you walk out that door for work.
unknownGood, Jess.
SPEAKER_00And I do. I take it out on her before or when I get home.
unknownSure.
SPEAKER_00Guys breaking things right and left, dad, and you tell them, don't, why'd you break that? Who are you to ask me why I broke it? How did I broke it? What do you mean how I broke it? Do your job. That's how them guys are. You know what I'd like to do? Take them and grab them by their shirt and rustle them to the ground and say, go home. If I had that authority, I might, but I don't. And God's teaching me how to work with a bunch of men that's so rebellious that if you tell them not to spit their tobacco pouches on the floor, you walk in the next morning with a big pouch with 50 of them laying in front of your cage. That's how rebellious they are. Can you just please go out and spit your pouch outside or take it out of your mouth and throw it in the trash can and walk in the next day and they're all through your cage area? We'll show you. That's the world we live in today. Unfortunately, I can be just like that.
unknownOh, yeah, me too.
SPEAKER_00And so I, what was my thought? What was I saying before I got off track there before I sit down?
SPEAKER_02Thank you, brother. That's how God does us.
SPEAKER_00And he's had to lower his voice with me. And I'll say, okay, Lord, but I do it anyways. I want you to go to church today, and I want you just to fall down and possibly just surrender it all. That contrite spirit that I see on our there was a nice contrite spirit flowing through here today, wasn't there? There was a broken spirit. There was like a spirit of for me, I seen it, and I seen others really crying out from their heart and from their depths of their soul. And thinking that if God sees it, that's what we're thinking. Do you see this, Lord? Do you feel this burden? Of course He does. Amen, brother. My gosh, the burden that man carried. And so once in a while I'll say I hear you, and I'll say I feel it, but I really don't. And I prove it by my actions. I get to work and I'm on the wrong side of the bed. My boss comes out first thing in the morning. Tomorrow I go back to work after being off for 10 days. Help me, Jesus. Now, and I'll go in there and it'll be, I get there at about 10 till 8, and sometimes he'll come out. Hey, and he'll fill me out. My boss has got to know me over the years. If he comes out and I don't even look at him or something like this, look at this. He knows don't he'll go back in his office. Hey, Jess, I'll come out in a little bit. That's ridiculous. That is pathetic on my behalf. That is no example of our Lord and Savior. That's right. Shame on me. Help me. Help me, Lord. I want to bring this under submission. Walks out and he looks at me, and I'm like this. But tomorrow I need to go in there and go, hey, how you been, Matt? And he might say, Well, I'm doing good, but get on that. We need that tomorrow. If I ain't careful, I'll say, I'll get on that. I'll get on you. That's the flesh. That's the old man. But I want to look at him in the future and say, okay, Matt, I'll get right on it.
unknownAbsolutely, brother.
SPEAKER_00Work your jobs. Do everything in life as you're doing it unto the Lord. As you're doing it for the Lord, because ultimately you are.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_00We're doing this for the Lord. We are truly pilgrims passing through.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_00This is not our home. This is our temporary home.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00I have a permanent place dwelling for me on the other side. I don't know who's been called for the bride, but I know I got a chance to earn the penny at the end of the day, which is eternal life. Amen. And I want eternal life. And I don't want God to have to lower his voice once in a while and say, I told you not to do that. But unfortunately, he does. And then all of a sudden, once in a while, I'll feel the Lord reach down and grab my arm. And I can handle it. Babies, you got to be careful with. You know, raising children's a lot of common sense. Even the animal kingdom sometimes has got more sense than I do. You ever watch the animals how they discipline their kids and their offspring? I've seen dogs get on their offspring. I've seen dogs, I've seen cats. I've seen a cat one time have babies, and them babies would not leave the mom alone. In about an hour of that, that mom came unglued and bam! Smack that baby, and that baby thought twice before he jumped at his mom's neck again. All they wanted to do was play. All I want to do is play most of the time. When you're a baby, you just want to play. Everything goes in the mouth. I purposely hand my grandson things to see if it'll go in his mouth without letting him put it in his mouth. We were walking yesterday, we we took a little uh rendezvous, and we was walking around, and I picked some crab apples out of an old tree, Jay. Big green crab apples, and Ezra was just fascinated with them, and I put them in his hand. And he looked, well, I stuck them down in his little front pocket. He's starting to gain coordination. These babies are starting to get coordinated. At first, he couldn't even grab on the stuff. He couldn't even grab things, his hands would go all around it. Now he reached down in his shirt, pulled the crab apple out, and looked at it and went, oom, and I had to grab it. Keep him from putting it in his mouth. Why do we want to put everything that we come across in our mouth when we're babies?
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_02Good thought.
SPEAKER_00Everything, Mumam served. When I first started serving God, everything I seen and came across wanted to go. I wanted to eat of it. And so praise God that He's taught me certain things. He's reached down and I can take it now. He's reached down and he's grabbed my arm, Tim, and applied a little pressure. Grab my shoulder. I told you stop that. Amen, brother. Spiritually. I told you, and I felt that. And I want to grow and I want to glean and I want to grow up in the things of God. And I want to be able to put those duckling safety pins away and not have to get them out anymore.
SPEAKER_01Very good.
SPEAKER_00But back to my thought before I sit down, I want to appreciate the things of God. What makes anybody, including myself and a child, become spoiled? A non-appreciative spirit.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00You take a child and you buy them nice gifts. My father, on my tenth birthday, bought me a racetrack that was amazing. Said taiko on it. How many of you know what tyco is? Tyco is not even around anymore. Tyco. Two cobra vets that if you put weights in the back of them, Brother Alex, and gun the paddle, they would pop willies and rip down the track. When I opened that on my 10th birthday, I was beyond, beyond thrilled.
SPEAKER_02Oh God.
SPEAKER_00And I took care of it. I would get it out for everybody to see. I didn't hide it under a bushel. I didn't hide it and not take care of it and rip the cords out of the paddles.
SPEAKER_03That's good.
SPEAKER_00I took care of it for many, many years. And my father knew that I was one that didn't take toys for granted and I appreciated things. And so my next birthday, he bought me a smash up derby. From 1976, Stars and Stripes Smash Up Derby. That when you hit the cars, they fall apart and you can put them back together. I remember things like that. Stars and stripes 1976 smash up derby cars. Look it up on your phone later. You can still buy them, but get ready to jerk your wallet out because you're going to pay for them. The things of God are priceless. You cannot buy this. Very good, brother. You can't buy this what we found. We have found the pearl of a great price.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00We've stumbled across the narrow way. Let alone stumble across it.
unknownVery good.
SPEAKER_00Few be that will even find it. You have to stumble across something before you pay it attention. I'm sorry. Moses paid attention to a bush that was burning that probably, he probably seen many of bushes catch on fire in a hundred-degree desert weather. But that bush, it says that he noticed and he walked over and he paid it us some attention, and God spoke out and made him one of the greatest men. Pay attention to what God's telling you to pay attention to. Then don't pay attention to stuff that he's telling you not to pay attention to. If he's telling you to leave it alone, leave it alone. Don't make him scold you. Don't make him correct you. I don't want to have to receive correction for the first for the rest of my life. Please allow me to grow up. Please allow me to bear fruit someday in my life. Please don't let me be an apple tree and produce cherries. Show the church, show the angels, show yourself, Lord, show myself what I am. Amen. Let me produce fruit and that more abundantly. Let me be godly contentment. Let me take care of what the precious things and the jewels that God's put in my life. The specialty things and the things that God's let me run across, and the things that Brother Connell sewed into my jewelry box, the trinkets that he's dropped in there, the jewels and the money spiritually. Let me put them up and take care of them. Don't let me grow wither. Don't let me grow uh wither on the vine, so to speak. Amen. You can be on the vine and wither. There can be fruit on the vine and it begins to wither. Most of the time, the reason that is is it's overriped. It becomes over-ripened. Jesus will not let us over-ripen. He will pick us when we're just ripe. A lot of times, other times a fruit on the vine will start to wither because the little vein that connects it, the little stem, will have damage done to it. A windstorm will blow through and sever a little bit of that vein that connects it to the vine. A lot of times it'll get bruised and battered. Or an animal or an insect will get a hold of it and it starts to wither on the vine. And it's on the vine, but it's beginning to wither. We can be on the vine. We can be in the kingdom and begin to let go.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_00Do not let go.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00Do not wither on the vine. If you're attached on the vine, wake up every day and praise Him for being on the vine. Praise God. Do not let me become unappreciative. Do not let me take things for granted. Do not let me be the hamster that runs on the wheel and gets off the wheel and runs on the wheel and goes to bed and eats, drinks his water, gets back on the will, and lives three and a half years like that, and you never gain anything else but that little reputation of a glass cage. Do not let me fall into that category, Lord. Teach me what this life is all about. Teach me when I'm supposed to witness to somebody. Teach me when to be this and that and spiritual. Teach me to cry with those that's crying. Teach me to fall down and be broken when God wants us to fall down and be broken. Teach me to rejoice when I need to rejoice. Lead me and guide me in all things. Let me be a greater witness to the king of all kings. A greater witness is what it's all about. We don't have to go door to door and do that. I don't feel God's called me to do that. There might be a day and age come, and I'll never say never. There could be a day and age. There could be some part of the ministry that might go door to door. I haven't seen that as of yet. But the greatest witness you can be is in your everyday walk. Every store you go into, every gas station you walk and pump your gas into your car, every street you go down, every person you look at, everything you do, let you be a representation of the king of all kings. And how would Jesus handle this ridiculous serpent and viper that's wanting to seek me? What would Jesus do? Vipers and serpents, we've heard about them for two and three weeks now. If I'm not careful, I go from a lovely child of God to a viparous viper. Real fast. I will bite you if you bite me. Remember when Moses, Brother Connell, taught us last week. When Moses picked, when he had the staff in his hand, it was a staff. It was up off the ground.
SPEAKER_03Between heaven and earth.
SPEAKER_00It was between heaven and earth. It was a staff. Remember. Is that the staff, Brother Connell? The butt the butted? Or is that not the staff? The staff in the tabernacle that produced almonds and leaves.
SPEAKER_02Aaron's staff. Aaron's staff. It could have been the same way. It could have been.
SPEAKER_00Not important, but it could have been. But my point is, though, is we're all just staffs, we're all just chunks of wood. Broke off, salt off some tree sometime in life. But when you start to apply yourself in the things of God, Aaron's rod was just a broke off staff. A chunk of no good old withered up wood. But when they stuck it in the kingdom, when they stuck it in the ark in the tabernacle, in the uh the holy place, down into the ark of the covenant, and put the lid on it, they went in there and seen that it began to produce life. An old wither-up stick started to grow leaves and buds and almonds. That is God all the way around. All will ever be without the Lord is an old withered up, busted down, broken stick. No good for nothing but to be cast in the fire and burnt. Why do you think the parable in one of them says that they got upset? Some men gathered sticks and threw them in. That's all they did. They went around gathering sticks on the Sabbath and they got put to death over that, did they not, Brother Connell?
SPEAKER_02One man, yes.
SPEAKER_00One man. It is so important that we don't stay an old withered up stick with no sap, no life, but we let God start to bring us back to life. So when Moses picked it up the staff, it was this, it was a staff. When he threw it down to the ground, it became a serpent. When we go down to the ground spiritually, and when we fall down and we let the devil, we let the serpent get a hold of us, and it tells you, well, you've done that, you might as well go all the way and do it. Ah, you slipped up and you smoked a cigarette, you might as well go get you a jug of whiskey now. Well, you've done filthy sailor mouth cussed, you might as well cuss tomorrow all day at work.
SPEAKER_01Sure. That's it. That's the devil. That's right.
SPEAKER_00When it gets you down, it wants to keep you down. That's right. Oh, you're thinking on that? Well, you might as well act upon it.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_00Keep thinking on it. That if there was a devil, that's what he'd tell you. Keep thinking on it. Keep thinking on it. Keep thinking on it. Eventually you'll act upon it. Eve thought a long time before she did what she did.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes.
SPEAKER_00It doesn't, that's not recorded how long Eve thought about the sin she done in the garden before she acted upon it. She might have had that in her mind a long time. But one day she let it out and she acted upon it. So when he threw that staff, Moses threw it down on the floor and it became a serpent. That's when we do our best serpent work. That's when we become a serpent, is when we fall down and we get our feet attached back into the earth spiritually. I've had dreams where I can jump and levitate. I've had dreams where I can jump and levitate about that far off the ground. And it's impossible to do that, but it is possible to do that with the Lord. You can spiritually levitate above the ground. Spiritually. Spiritually. So I'm sitting down, but I don't want to be a serpent. I don't want to be a staff to want to get when I get thrown and a trial and a test comes, or the serpent, or somebody steps into my life and starts tempting me in ways that I don't like, I come unglued. That's right, brother. What is it, Brother Tim? I become a striker. A striker or a brawler. It's because I've let my stir, I serpent, I've let my staff, I've let my soul fall down on the ground. Get back up. Tell the Lord to reach down and jerk you off the earth. Yes. Get me up above the carnality of this life. Get me up above the carnal and the natural things.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_00Put me above heaven and earth. Hold me up here, Lord. Teach me to be not a serpent no more, but a staff that's producing life. And that more abundantly.
SPEAKER_02Praise God. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00So that's that's that's part of the serpent. I don't want the serpent to keep begiling me. I don't want the serpent to keep telling me it's okay. When I know good and well, it's not okay.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00Most of serving God is good, wholesome common sense. It's just a problem I'm dealing with is I don't have good common sense a lot of times. The devil will tell me, no, that's that's okay. Think on that. That's good food to eat. And you get to pondering on things that you know you shouldn't think on, and the next thing you know, it overpowers you. That's right, brother. And you start to eat of it and you start to partake of it. God help me curve my appetite. How does the church gonna grow? How are we gonna grow and produce this? How are we gonna be a part of the latter rain? How are we gonna be a church that's without spot, wrinkle, or blemish? How are we gonna be a people that's without spot, wrinkle, or blemish? The church, yes, but us individually, we're the church. How can I not show Tim that there's a spot? How can I not show any kind of discord? How can I love my brother when they're unlovable? How can I bear with them when I don't want to bear with them? By bearing with them, by letting your spirit fall down, by not letting Jesse say, I'm sick of the way that person treats me, I'm treating them back the same way.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Two crooks on a boat, two crooks robbing the same bank.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00And they both get busted. And they go, What happened? We didn't go about this right. That's good. There's a way to go about serving God, Brother Tim. I want to love my brothers and my sisters. I want to come to an agreement that I'm not gonna bomb out. I'm gonna build with Brother Tim. We're gonna see the true church established in the end times. Oh God. Oh God. The restored church is around the corner.
SPEAKER_02Jesus, Jesus.
SPEAKER_00And we have a chance to be a part of that. We have a chance to be partakers of that and be loadbearers and supporters and support when they come in that we don't crumble under the weight of the world. Worldly people are gonna come in. And if we don't have the world out of us, we are going to crumble. Because the devil's gonna tell you, I ate of that, I know what you're dealing with, I lusted like that. If you ain't careful, you're gonna slip that way, possibly again. That's right. We got to be overcomers.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00We got to at least drive to be an overcomer. Amen. Yes. That's right. At least you said, I ain't been called to be an overcomer. How do you know?
SPEAKER_03No, we've all been called to be overcomers.
SPEAKER_00One way or another, we're gonna overcome. That's right. Whatever sin takes you to the grave one day, you'll come forth with.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00Nothing else, nothing will be added to you, and nothing will be took. If you don't get rid of it this time aside of life, and you have a chance to get rid of it, you might not even come forth. That's it. Listen. Listen, real quick. Yes. If God gives any one of us, or anybody that's coming into this church in the future, and they're coming, a chance to receive the Holy Ghost baptism, a chance to get their eyes open to who the serpent was, a chance to understand the Godhead, a chance to understand the gospels.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00What else, Brother Tim? Some of the major doctrines that's been established in our life.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Hell Godhead.
SPEAKER_00Hell.
SPEAKER_03The baptism.
SPEAKER_00The baptism, water baptism, Holy Ghost, the Godhead. If you have a chance and you reject it and go down with that rejection in your life, you are not guaranteed that you're going to come forth. Because that is a portion of blaspheming. I'm not giving you that right off the top of my head. The Lord showed me that a couple months ago. If I give you, Jesse, the opportunity to get something under submission in your life, what is the biggest tree that you've grown and I've grown? You don't have to tell me. Just think on it.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00What is the biggest tree in my life that's been growing the longest? A tree that grows the longest is the biggest and the hardest to get up.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00I told Brother Alex today. God and the Lord has got a chainsaw that puts Huscovarna and still to shame.
SPEAKER_02That's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00He can hack down any tree that you and I have grown. Nobody else has caused me to grow these giants. Not one individual, nothing else has caused me to grow these trees in my life but me. And if I have a chance to get rid of that ridiculous giant that I know I have, one by one, all of us in this church have one big giant that you know is the hardest one to conquer. It might be totally different from you than a sister, from a sister to you, from the I don't know. But I know what my biggest tree is. If I can say trees, trees coral. And I don't hew them down.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00And I don't let this truth establish me and stabilize me.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Amen, brother. I'm not coming forth. Oh God.
SPEAKER_00Why would he bother?
SPEAKER_02That's it.
SPEAKER_00You have to go down striving with your hand on the plow.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_00You go, well, I didn't get that boulder up. Was your hand on the plow when you went down? Yes, you're coming forth.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Did you give up on the plow?
SPEAKER_00Did you give up on the plow and walk away?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00Did you throw the staff down and wipe your mouth and walk away? Or did you pull the staff back up and cry out to God and say, God, please help me? You're coming forth. But if you have a chance to get your eyes open and you reject the truth, the Bible says, buy the truth and sell it not. Amen.
SPEAKER_02That's good.
SPEAKER_00How do you sell it? With your own adamic spirit. Period. The only way you sell out on God is the Adam that's down in all of us, born when Ezra was born. You're already seeing little Adam spirits come out of my grandson. It's inherited. We inherited. We got traits. What's the thing? The bee? The bee and the turtle?
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00The nature. Brother Sauter says, I inherited things from my mom and my father, my father that I did not even ask for.
SPEAKER_01That's right, brother.
SPEAKER_00But they're there. I did not ask for this tree, Lord. But it was there and I grew it and I fed it. Now teach me how to not feed it no more and starve it. And please teach me how to get a spiritual chainsaw out. Amen. And not only cut the tree down, but get a what a stump grinder. Most trees will start to grow back after you cut them down.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_00You could go back in a year or two and there's a little tree growing out of that big tree. And if you don't get a hold of that and hew that down, it'll grow another giant tree.
SPEAKER_01That's good, brother.
SPEAKER_00God allow me to take a stump grinder, which is the word and prayer and fasting. You want to get closer to the Lord? You want to be more spirit-led?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Do you want to be more spiritual? I do, then start to crucify the old man. Amen. You might say, how? Fasting. Yes, Jesus is a huge key. Whatever dinner throughout the day you really, really enjoy. I love my breakfast, let's say. Ah, man, I can't do without lunch. I love dinner. Start to fast. I'm telling you, don't take my word for this. Try it. There you go. It crucifies the old man. When you don't put a steak in Jesse's belly, I get angry. But you know what, though, before you do that, pray about it. Ask the Lord to give you the strength. Tell him why you're fasting. That's right.
SPEAKER_02Commit it.
SPEAKER_00Commit to it and tell him why you're doing it. You know, one time I started a fast and I went, I was at work, and I told the Lord, I fasted for three days, Brother Tim. Three days. About the third day, man, I was like, yeah, I got this. I feel so spiritual. And I did. And I was humbled. I was really kind of broken because I didn't feed the old man three days. I just sipped on water. But about the fourth day came along and I told the Lord, I'm continuing this fast, Lord. And I boastfully said it. God does not like a boastful spirit. He handled my case real quick. And I said, I'm doing this. I'm fasting again, Lord. And I got so miserable, Dad. I was at work and I had the most hideous hunger pains. I had a throat out of nowhere, Brother Alex, this came on. For three days I was walking across. The first day, wow, I'm hungry, but I'm not feeding him. Second day, wow, I got a little bit of a headache, and it's this is bad. Sipping on water. Third day, it starts to let up, at least for me, and you think, okay, I got this. But then into the fourth day, I was at work and I got boastful. And I got full of Jesse again. Even in that contrite, broken, humbled, not eating state, the devil jumped back onto the throne.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00The serpent.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It didn't even work. It worked for three days, and the serpent said, Oh, wow, you got this. He jumped right back onto the throne. That's right. And I looked and I looked and I thought I was killing you. And he winked at me, he's like, You thought so.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's right. That's right. Very good.
SPEAKER_00And I got so miserable, Brother Mike. Miserable. My stomach started hurting, my head started pounding, uh, my hands started going like this. I was dehydrated, not eating. And the Lord spoke to me and cracked my spirit right away. He said, Why don't you stop this and go get a hamburger? I'm telling you, I went up to Burger King and I got me a hamburger, and as I was eating my hamburger, I began to sob. We cannot do this on our own. That's right. And the flesh wants to do it on its own. It don't need nobody.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00It don't need nothing around. It's just prevalent. It's just there. I inherited things that I didn't even ask for. You could say, Where did you come from? And he could say, if he could speak, I always been here. Just begin to feed me and I'll show you more. I'll show you what all you can have. That's what he did to Eve. And I went up, and as I sat and ate my hamburger at the Burger King drive-thru, I began to cry. And I repented to the Lord for getting a boastful spirit. And I'll tell you one more thing that God's gonna deal with me on in this assembly. And that is being uh sarcasm. Sor this is this is the Lord, He's been putting this on my mind. Don't be sarcastic with your brothers and your sisters. That's right. Sarcasm. It starts out little, but then you get to doing it, and some and eventually you provoke your brother or your sister. And you gotta remember where sarcasm's from. I could give you many of ex many examples of sarcasm. You know, where'd you buy that at? That place is junk. Why do we even want to tell our? I'm just making that up. Oh, where'd you get that? That place, man. That's not of the Lord. That's old Sloughfoot. That's Jesse trying to be sarcastic or evil or bad interior motive. Undermining motives. I don't want to be sarcastic with Brother Tim. I can joke with my brothers and sisters and laugh and giggle, and we can tear it up, Brother Maley. We can laugh with the best of them. But I don't want to be a devil. I don't want to be sarcastic towards my brothers and sisters. That's right, brother. Me and Brother Mathis, when we first met, we'd be in church and he jerked my shirt up out of my back. We'd be in church after church, and I'd be knelt down, getting a pop or something out of the fridge, down in the old garage, and Brother Mathis would walk up and go, and jerk my whole shirt out of the back of my where it's tucked in, and look, Brother Mathis, remember? Stick a cold pot down on my back. I put up with that for about a year, and it was starting to get the best of me. The devil was going, why don't you turn around and rebuke his socks off? The serpent said, Turn around and rebuke your brother. And finally I turned around and I said, Brother Mathis, why do you keep doing that? Remember that, brother? Oh, I'm just joking, Jess. I was like, Yeah, but the Bible says not to provoke your brother. That's ice cold, and you're jerking my shirt out. We grew up. Let's just stop right now. We grew up, brother. Absolutely. We grew up. I do not want to provoke my brothers and sisters. I don't want to be sarcastic. I want to be there for brother Jack. Jack's not a 53-year-old man.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Jack's a 19-year-old man.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00My granddaughters, they're not 53. They're not 43 or 44. They're my granddaughters and they're young. We got to give each other time to grow up in the things of God. Bear with one another. Love one another. Appreciate one another. Do not take things or this for granted. Bend and blend with one another. Very good. I don't like that. Well, try it anyways. That's not me. Well, who's telling you that? The serpent or the Lord?
SPEAKER_02Very good.
SPEAKER_00I appreciate the Lord. I appreciate the things of God that Brother Connell and the older brothers established in our hearts. I appreciate all the things and the toys when I was younger. And I and it taught me something naturally how to appreciate toys that I still have them to this day, Tim, some of them. But when you don't appreciate things, you become spoiled. And when you stick something in the refrigerator and you let it sit in there too long or on the counter and it becomes spoiled, it starts to stink. And any food that becomes spoiled, there's no reversing it. It's no reversing something that's spoiled. You can freeze dry it, you can stick it in the freezer, you can anoint it with oil, you can pray over it. You might as well throw it in the trash. That's right. I do not want to become spoiled.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00I want to thank the Lord for where he's brought us all from.
SPEAKER_02Amen, brothers.
SPEAKER_00When I look at my brothers and my sisters and recovering addicts and people that didn't even know about the Holy Ghost and question God.
SPEAKER_02Praise the Lord.
SPEAKER_00Family members that their kids don't seem like they're doing this, and now all of a sudden God's giving them a change of plans.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_00Thank God! Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank God. I watched an old video the other night, Brother Tim, of the Brother Mathis before when he bought that home down there. An old video, I got them out, the VHSCs, and I stuck them in the camcorder and wired the camcorder to an old TV, and the kids and I was sitting around and we was watching some old videos, and one popped up of Brother Mathis when he first bought that home, and all the Harley Davidson's and the fire pits, and just the grass was all grown up, and it was just trashy looking over there, and all the parties and the women, and before he met Sister Rochelle, and the drugs and the doing the burnouts in the main street saloon. It wasn't good enough that he could go in there and park his bike out front and drink. He had to take his bike in there and do a burnout on the dance floor. That wasn't good enough for me that I could be in the house of God. I wanted to drink and serve God. I wanted to smoke my cigarettes and serve God. But praise God, get down all of us. Amen. People that's given up smoking dope and blood. The world's pushing that. They're pushing that. You can buy it on every street corner now. It's legal. Bible says, be ye sober-minded.
SPEAKER_02Amen, brother. That's good.
SPEAKER_00They're starting to say it's okay to drink all the wine. I heard a minute, I heard a man that's a pretty good, uh, he's a he's a he's a man that's been all through Hollywood. Grew up in this. Grew up in the world, I should say. And I truly believe that the Lord did get a hold of Kurt Cameron.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00He's got good things. Yes. But now he's saying it's okay for you and your brothers in the church to go buy cigars. No, it's not. Is it a is it ridiculous to be smoking on a cigar in your garage? There's so many worse things you could be doing, but you're gonna stink like a stogie. The bottom line is you're gonna stink like a cigar, and what kind of witness is that?
SPEAKER_03That's right. That's right.
SPEAKER_00Slip behind the barn and drink a shot of whiskey or a glass of beer or smoke some bud? That's between you and the Lord. But he sees it.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00He sees it. And what if your brother comes in your house and you're hiding a 12-pack of beer in the refrigerator? Why are you gonna explain that? You're not. Oh, brother, I do that every once in a while. Man, shame on me. That's it, brother. God is gonna have a church that's holy. Don't need pot.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_00Don't need cigarettes. Don't need whiskey. Don't even need a glass of wine from time to time.
SPEAKER_02Amen, brother. That's it.
SPEAKER_00You say, really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00Maybe not you, but God's gonna have a uh He's gonna have some stabilized, stabilized uh foundation pieces that don't need anything of the world in their life anymore. Am I there yet? No, but I'm striving. Amen. As the world brings carnality on, and as they push natural things, and as they push their cotton candy bud, found a baggie laying in my street yesterday, and I picked it up and looked at it and opened it up, and it smelled like the dank. It was that's a natural carnal word, but it was funky. I was like, whoa. Yeah, guess what it was called? Cotton candy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's everything.
SPEAKER_00It should be called of the devil. Let's just be real. Brother Alex, what God's done in your life is nothing short of a miracle.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00When you're leaning on the arm of my beloved, when you're leaning on Jesus and learning what it means to lean on him, you won't need the pot anymore. That's right. You won't need an occasional glass of wine.
unknownYou won't need the booze.
SPEAKER_00If you drink a glass of wine, Brother Connell's taught us this. If you drink a glass of wine in your home and the privacy of you and your wife, that's your business. Ideal and actual. That's right. The Bible says, no drunkard shall enter into the kingdom. Jesus drank wine, but I can tell you right now that Jesus did not get drunk. I don't know that. There's no, I don't think it's written in the Bible, but I felt like the Lord showed me that the other day, too. He drank wine. And he might even have possibly knocked the edge, if you know what I mean. But he did not become a drunk.
SPEAKER_01I believe that. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Come on. That's the king of all kings. That's the mystery man that walked every street in Galilee just about. And nobody understood, other than those that was supposed to understand. He looked at the twelve and he said, To you I give the keys, but to them it's a mystery.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00When they crucified our Lord, some said they heard thunders and lightnings out of heaven, and others heard the voice of God. We're no different today. You want to hear from the Lord? Do I want to hear from the Lord? Get more spiritual. Amen. How do you get more spiritual? Giving up earthly desires and traits and habits and things and this and that and even the thoughts. Try to bring every thought into captivity. Am I there yet? Nope. Nope. The tree that I've grown since I was a young boy is ridiculous. But I'm eager to get it hewed down.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna stay on the vine. Amen. And I'm gonna stay in the ministry. I'm gonna stay in this church, rather. That's right. And I'm gonna let Brother Connell take his chainsaw out from time to time and carve on this old tree.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00And when the tree's hewed down, don't stop there. Go rent you a stump grinder. Get the stump and the roots out too, because it'll come back. The flesh is a bottomless pit. It don't stop. It don't have to, it won't. It can't. It don't know how. Only thing that the Lord will ever do with our flesh is put it in the ground.
SPEAKER_01Kill it.
SPEAKER_00Kill it. So I appreciate the Lord today. I want to be appreciative for the things of God. I do not want to come reputation.
SPEAKER_03Thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_00I do not want to do that, Brother Tim. Don't be a problem from within. We're gonna have our problems from without. But those problems, the Bible says, cannot do anything against the house of God. It's the problems that arise from within that's gonna tear it down. That's right. The gates of hell will not prevail against this. But be careful, the Lord told me, be careful, you're not a gate of hell.
SPEAKER_02Oh God.
SPEAKER_00Be careful. I don't have something against my brother, my son-in-law's, any one of you.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_00Any one of you. Anything. Work it out. Work it out. Love one another. Forgive one another. Go out to dinner from time to time with one another. Be with one another. Support one another. So I love the Lord. I'm sorry I took so much time. I appreciate Brother Connell. I appreciate Brother Tim. Me and Brother Tim was asked two things in the beginning. I was asked to stand aside and support your father throughout this. Tim was called to be a part and support and be a part of the success of the gift that's in Brother Connell. I've never forgotten that. You desire to be a part of the ministry in this church, it's a good thing. That is a good thing. Keep praying about it. Keep seeking that. God will raise up in this church who He wants. I don't want anything to do with that.
SPEAKER_03That's God's business.
SPEAKER_00That's God's business. I don't want anything to do with who's gonna make it and who's not.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00Somebody's been around us in the past, and you see them now, and they're crooked as a dog's hind leg. Leave it alone.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_00Somebody came and got the Holy Ghost, and they're no longer a part of this. Turn that over to the Lord. That's it. We got a big future out ahead of us, and I don't know it all.
unknownPraise God.
SPEAKER_00I don't know the future and the plan of God totally. I'm starting to have a glimpse of what he wants me to do, but I gotta learn to leave others alone so I can handle my own business. The problem with Jesse is I want to cut your grass and mine too.
SPEAKER_02That's good, brother. That's very good. Judgment. Yes, judgment.
SPEAKER_00Judgment. Pray for one another. Pray for your brothers and your sisters, you see, that's all riddled with the things of the world. Sow down with their self and their flesh. Pray for them. That's it. Be good to them that despitefully use you. Amen. Pray for them. Love them. Don't say that. Jesus said, Don't say you love me if you don't love one another.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00You're lying. I'm lying. I want to build with this church. I want to be a part of this. I don't care as long as I receive a penny.
SPEAKER_02Amen, brother.
SPEAKER_00As long as I can get eternal life. I want to live forever with you. I don't want to die and go to the wayside. I don't want to wither on the vine and join Babylon. God's going to push us one or two ways in the end times. If you go down willingly carrying sin, you might not come forth with a chance to get rid of that. You've got to be willing to surrender it and give it up. Whatever you go down for with is the only thing that's going to bring you forth in a resurrection. If you go down and all sin is eradicated out of your life, you possibly made the bride. You won't go down. You won't go down, you'll move out of live soul. That's right. But if I go down and there's a tree that I just could not quite cut down, my chainsaw blade wasn't quite sharp enough. Right. But if I just leave it alone and wipe my mouth and walk away and go, you know what? I am not messing with that tree. I like that tree a little bit. I like that attribute. I like that trait in my life. I like what I inherited from my father and my mother. I like that uh what's the bee? The bee and the I like that nature. I was born with that. I think I'm gonna keep that around. If you have a chance to get rid of that and you don't, shame on you.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Jesus spoke to the church to us years ago, and he said it could be one thing, one attribute, one single thing that either makes you or breaks you. One thing either can put you in the goodness of God and you can make it, or that one thing could keep you from making it. One little ridiculous tree that I refuse to get took out of my life. I want God to keep helping us. Thank you, Brother Connell. Thank you for preaching lately. Praise God. Thank you for bringing your sword out of the sheath.
SPEAKER_02Yes, hallelujah.
SPEAKER_00They do not preach out there. You get tickled on your ear and they go, Oh, is that an itchy spot here? Let me tickle you. Let me pin your little diaper on for you. Seriously. Come on, folks. Yes, yes. Are we a bunch of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts? Are we gonna do this thing? Have we been called to run this race? Yes, we're not to run it in vain. That's right, brother. You can run this race in vain. You can run this race in vain. There's people burying with things and sacrificing things in vain. You say, how? Because they haven't been called. They might not have the true germ kernel. We have been called to run this race and run it truthfully and faithfully till the end. That is part of our ministry to do this till the end, to usher in the latter rain. It is part of our calling. God has targeted this body, this group of people, to bring in the restored church. We are gonna be part of that. They preached it 40 and 50 years ago. They thought they were gonna see it. We, a few of us, I hope I'm around, we're gonna see the true restored church. And there won't be nothing that will be able to stand up against it.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna leave you with this. The biggest thing that can stand up against what God's doing is things from within.
SPEAKER_01Yes, that's it.
SPEAKER_00There's nothing from without, he said, that can haunt you or kill you. It's what comes out. It's the things that we grow in our life, it's the things that I won't give up towards my brother, it's the things that I might not give up towards my son-in-laws. That's right, that's right.
SPEAKER_02That's good.
SPEAKER_00I can let a root of bitterness, I can be unforgiving, I can be uh contentious as ever towards my saints. I can be uh, what's the word I used earlier? I can be full of uh uh sarcasm. That's a bad thing to be too sarcastic. I don't even want to be no sarcasm. Look the word sarcastic up. It's gotta go in the house of God. It's not a good thing. Your brother comes to you and tells you, your sister comes to you and tells you something they purchased or bought, support them.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00Don't support them when they're sinning. Get on them. Get on them. There's even a way to do that. There is an even way to get on each other when we're seeing our brothers fall. The best way you can get on them is to fall down and love them and lift them up. Cry with them. Tell them, can I pray with you? Can I help you? But don't be contentious and sarcastic and go, oh, yeah, that's nice. Tires are bald. That thing's loud, junk. That thing's slow. Any little thing. That's good.
SPEAKER_01That's it.
SPEAKER_00And look at this knife I bought. Look at these glasses I went yesterday and bought. Six bucks at Walmart. You got them at Walmart? I got mine at a way better store than that. Oh, yeah. That's the flesh.
SPEAKER_03Sure it is.
SPEAKER_00That's not good. We don't do that towards our brothers and sisters. Love one another. Love one another. Support one another.
SPEAKER_03Amen.
SPEAKER_00Really?
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00I don't like what you're doing. Leave that to them in the Lord. If it ain't haunting you, or they ain't bringing it in the assembly, or it ain't troubling things, or they ain't condoning sin, leave them alone. It's certain people's jobs in here to tell people what to do. If something comes into the church and they're going around spreading gossip and this and that and sowing diverse seeds and sin, we had a brother come amongst us. He's not a brother. We had a man come amongst us just 17 years ago that was telling all the men it was okay to watch certain garbage on the television.
unknownThat's right.
SPEAKER_00We had to get him out of here. No, it's not okay to watch anything you want to watch. That's right. This is the house of God, where the souls of just men and women is going to be made whole.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Perfect. Praise God.
SPEAKER_00I don't want any more spots, Brother Alex.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00The biggest spots I contend with is ones that I've put there.
unknownThat's right.
SPEAKER_00I love you, Dad. I love you, Tim. Every one of you saints, I love you. Brother Ronnie. Blesses my soul to see where God brought that young man from.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00Those people do not budge. That's right. You have a testimony, brother. We all have a testimony to give to each other from time to time. And as people come in, we'll be able to help the drug addicts. We'll be able to help the people that smoke the bud, drink the bruise, tell the filthy jokes, watch the pornography. We'll be able to help them with all that. The true church, God's gonna back it and support it with signs and wonders. I need more power.
SPEAKER_02Yes, Lord.
SPEAKER_00Is he gonna give his power to Babylon? So they can tread it under feet. No, he's gonna give his power out to those that's drive. Those that's got the goal of the good and the gold. Amen. That's who his power is gonna back. Not Babylon. They're gonna come out of that. And they're gonna have to come into something different. If they come into something they've already been sowed into, what good is it? They're gonna have to come into where it says the ladder shall be greater than the former. Sometimes I often think, why is the ladder gonna be greater than the former? Because we got more trash to contend with. We got more garbage than they contended with 2,000 years ago. They didn't have this little thing over there that I play my cell phone. I didn't have one of them to take out and look at anything you want to look at. They didn't have all the filthy jokes, they didn't have all the lustful spirits, they didn't have all this carnality that's around them today. God, we need more power to overcome the serpent. We need more power, and he said, You'll get it. The latter range shall be greater than the former because you must need it, they could have added. You're gonna need more power. They didn't walk around with all the trash, they didn't walk around with $500 Nike air shoes on. They didn't walk around with pants that you go spend two and three. And if you do that, more power to you. I can't afford Nike ears. Amber bought me my shoes and they're about five years old and they hurt my feet. But I'm content, is my point. I'm content. Don't sew your things down in the world. Don't let things get a hold of you. If you got them, great, but if they get a hold of you, be willing to give them up. They didn't walk around with all this flesh. They didn't walk around. Jesus fed himself from a fig tree. He didn't wake up and stuff eggs and bacon out in his mouth every single day. Sausage, gravy, and biscuits. Get this. He walked up and it says he was a hunger. And he walked over and he went to get him some figs. What a simple man.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00He didn't look at his disciples and say, whip me up some fish and cod and make some loaves of bread and let me get them in my belly. I'm trying to show you something here today.
SPEAKER_02That's very good, brother.
SPEAKER_00You want to get more spiritual, you want to be more spirit-led, do something against the old man. Fast to dinner, fast to breakfast, fast to lunch. Read your Bible. Read your Bible. That's a given. Brother Connell, thank you, but that that should be a given. I might not get my Bible out, but I look a scripture or two up on my phone.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00But let God teach you what it means to crucify your spirit. And so they didn't have all that to contend with like we do. He went over to the tree and he got upset because it did not produce any fruit. He went over to get him some breakfast. If you read, it was in the morning and he was a hunger. And he went over to get him some figs. And he was gonna plop some figs off. I tell you what, if we woke up in the morning and started to eat figs for the next week, we'd be a lot healthier. You want to lose some weight? Eat figs for the next week. You want to get regular? Eat some figs. I'm just being natural, but it'd be a lot healthier. But when he walked over and seen that the fig tree didn't have any fruit, but it did bear leaves. See, we all got a chance to produce leaves, but the fruit's what he's after. He got mad and cursed it. And the next day they they marveled that it withered up and died. I do not want to be a tree that refuses. See, there's the key. I do not want to be a tree that refuses to produce fruit. You can refuse to bear fruit. You can refuse for the for a tree to not be cut out of your life if you hold on to it. So I love the things of God. I appreciate the Lord today. I want to be more appreciative. I want to love my brothers and my sisters. I don't want to let natural things get a hold of me. I want to be more spiritually minded. More more spiritual. So what do you do? You eat more spiritual food. You go against the grain. You go against the grain. One way, shape, or form, go against the old man. Start to I'll I'll do this with you. Start to fast a little bit. Maybe it's a Sunday. Maybe you fast a dinner on Saturday and you don't eat till you till you get on, get out of here today. Just a little bit, God honors it. So pray for the youth. Pray for the youth in this church. Pray for me. Pray for one another. Pray that there's nothing from within that's going to tear this down. I don't want anything in my heart. I don't want to sow discord and division.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, me neither, brother.
SPEAKER_00I do not want to do that. When I support my brother, I want to support him 24-7 every day, 365 days out of the year. When I support Brother Connell, I want to support him 365 days out of the year. I don't want to have any butts in my vocabulary. That's right. I appreciate him telling us that over and over. Man, I love Brother Connell. He sure can preach, but right there is a gate of hell. That could be a gate of hell that can tear down. I love my dad, but Brother Alex, he's long-winded. You just sold some discord. You just sowed some discord in your brother.
SPEAKER_02It's that simple.
SPEAKER_00It's that simple. Man, I love Brother Tim. I love my brother, but he just don't do this the way I think he should. You just sowed a little seed in your brother's heart. That's it.
SPEAKER_03That's it.
SPEAKER_00All junk. All trash. Joseph is said there was a man that chose his words very wisely before they went out of his mouth. Joseph. And he became the governor of all of Egypt. Why? Because he went around sowing discord and rebellious and told everybody just how it was. Opposite. Joseph became the most humblest man besides Moses on the earth, one of them. And God raised him up to be second in command, and the Pharaoh slipped his ring on his finger. I want the Lord to slip a ring on our finger. I don't want anything to come out of my mouth that's not of God. Anymore, Lord.
SPEAKER_01Help me, Lord. Help us.
SPEAKER_00Help us. You want a church that's going to produce this and produce a ladder rain? Start to do these things. Little by little. Little by little. I appreciate the Lord today.
SPEAKER_01Keep your hand to the fly. Keep your eye on the goal. Keep on reaching for perfection.
SPEAKER_03It'll bring life to your soul.
SPEAKER_01Leaving only his beast. Coming forth goals. It's the only way to make heaven.
SPEAKER_03And move the living soul. Keep your hands to the hands to the soul.
SPEAKER_02Praise God reaching for perfection.
SPEAKER_01It brings life to your soul. Leaving all your hands beyond. Hunting for the spirit goal is the only way to make heaven and move out a living soul.
SPEAKER_03Praise the Lord. Thank you, Trash. Praise God. Thanks, Jess, for preaching today. Amen. Can you enjoy that? Absolutely. Feel like you've been in church today? Very good. Praise God. Sweet Spirit of God moved in here. Touched us. Broke the earth up a little bit. And uh all the words that was planted here today. Very good. Thank God for having a church that we can be led by the Lord, not led by program. Praise God. Amen. God bless y'all. We love you. Have a good evening this night. Praise God.
SPEAKER_02Praise God.
