SPEAKER_02

Thank you, Lord. Well, I'm thankful to be in the house of God. I'm appreciative and thankful to be able to have somewhere to come to uh fill the spirit of God. You know, we can feel the spirit of God everywhere, each day, anywhere you take him, and uh anywhere you take the Holy Spirit with you, he goes with you. But it's important to have somewhere, especially to be a part of a garner where you can feel the Spirit of God. And he comes and dwells and rests with us and listens to us and hears us and speaks to us through the through the worship and through the ministry and through the testimonies and different things. And I'm grateful for that. I um I'm grateful for being able to be forgiven for the things that's not quite right. I'm glad that this isn't a one, just a one and done kind of thing. I'm thankful that it's not just an infinite repentance as well, but I'm grateful that it's not a one or two or even a dozen or you know uh two dozen kind of thing where you're forgiven, and that's the end of that. And I'm thankful that we have a place we have an ability to go to the Lord and ask him for forgiveness, ask him for help, ask him for understanding, ask him for ears to hear, ask him for uh eyes to see and a heart to receive. I'm thankful for I'm thankful for the truth that we have. I'm thankful for this little flock that we have. And I say little not because of anything other than that's what God called it. That's what the word of God calls it. If you're not little flock, it don't matter if we grow to a 400, we're still a little flock when you can when you consider the masses of the people. And just in our just in our country alone, not to mention other countries. But uh Brother Connell asked me to take us to the Lord in prayer, and more than anything, I just wanted to say that I'm thankful to be here. I'm appreciative of what God's doing. I'm thankful. I'm thankful for the messages that have been coming forth. And uh I'm thankful for the anointing that I've been filling on my father, our pastor. I can see, I can see, and Sam, I'm thankful Sam's here. You can see a seasoning coming to our pastor if you have eyes to see, and if you don't, I'm not throwing stones at you. It's okay. If you you'll you'll get it, just stick around. But if you have ears to hear and eyes to see, you'll see a different seasoning and a different spirit and a different anointing coming to our pastor. And I'm grateful for it because it's gonna take that. It's gonna take leadership that's willing to go high, high, high, high up on that mountain. Moses was called to the very top. He wasn't called to the side, he wasn't called to the to the first level, second, though, he was called to the very top of the mountain. Then he was asked to take off his shoes for he was on holy ground. And it was up to Joshua and the rest of the, and it would, well, Joshua at the time, but I'm putting that as the rest of us. It was up to him to find a comfortable spot on the side of that mountain. Not up high where Moses was, not down low where the people were, but somewhere on the side of that mountain. And that represents something really beautiful because it's it would be extremely difficult to find any amount of rest on the side of a mountain because it's all rocky and it's all this and it's all that. Think about that. You're laying in dust, it's hot, it's you're in a desert place, there's you know nothing but stones and pebbles all around you. But it was his job he was tasked with to make sure that he didn't get close enough to hear the utterings of in which Moses was hearing, because that wasn't for him, but he had to stay far enough away from what he heard down below him, which was the which was the just the the the sea of humanity where he had to find that comfortable spot.

unknown

There you go.

SPEAKER_02

And so I uh I want to do that. I I want to be able to do that. And I want to be able to um I want to be able to have ears to hear and a heart to receive and eyes to see, but feverishly work to allow the Lord to remove the self-righteousness, the judgmental spirit, and and and the uh the religiousness that I have in my heart and in my spirit towards not just us in this room, but for towards ever all parts of humanity. Do I see the wrong? Do I hear the wrong? Do I feel the wrong? Absolutely, but I'm not God and I'm not Jesus and I'm not their judge. And uh we're being asked to become a garner for the Lord. He wants to build a garner. And what a garner means is a place to where it's a just put it in natural terms, it's a dry, it's a cool, dry place where you can put your harvest.

unknown

That's it.

SPEAKER_02

You don't want somewhere that's you don't you a farmer doesn't want to put his his harvest in somewhere where it's gonna get burnt up or it's gonna get ate by the mice and the rats and different things. The farmer wants to put his place somewhere, his harvest that he's worked hard for all year, all season long, somewhere where it's cool and dry and away and out of the sun, out of the rain, and away from the the the uh away from the the animals. He doesn't want it to get all spent up and ate up and chewed up. Well, God's no different. He wants to build a garner somewhere where God, somewhere, somewhere where his people that might not even know the degree in which they are his people has to come. And that's what we're being asked to do. Build a garner. Build somewhere where he can bring his harvest when the time is right, out of the weather, away from the riff raff, up off the ground, out of the sun, out of the rain, where all the the where all the varmints can't get to it. Right? And that's what we're being asked to build. I spent many a lot of time thinking about when and where and how and the size and all those different things of of what God's doing here. And uh the older I've gotten, the more I've realized just just stay put, keep your seat, follow the ministry in which I told you to follow. You'll see all those things. You dwell, if I dwell on it too much, I'll put my hand to it here or there. Push this way, pull that way. That's not what God wants. He's got a plan. He knows what he's doing, he knows how to take care of his children, thank you. And I'm never gonna let go of that. And um, you know, I told somebody something the other day, and it's it's food for my own soul. I like to complicate things a lot of times. I like to overthink things, I like to make uh things more more uh difficult, thank you, brother, uh, than what they really should be. And um I don't do it on purpose, it's just my way of thinking. It's just my it's just my mindset, it's just how I break things down. Trisha and I ran into that together for 20 years. Her way of thinking is one way, and my way of thinking is another. We get we have to get prayed up to do the bills together. Her math is not my math, and I don't do it that way. No, it it's we've come a long way with it. But I've learned over the years though, that some of the way she does her math and configures things, it's better. And uh she's a better planner, and she's better with time. And um, you know, I tried a little something the other day. I have good intentions on a lot of things, but I don't do so hot with time management and or directions. I have zero sense of direction, naturally speaking. I get lost three streets over, I'll head out of the driveway not knowing where we're going. About, I don't know, five minutes will go by and she'll be like, hey hun, do you do you care to know where we're going? I'm like, Yeah, that'd be good. She's like, Well, where were you going? I was like, driving? I was just driving, you know. But that's just my temperament. But um I I I tried something the other day, and I told I told somebody this on the job site, but I I have we're very scheduled, we're very planned, we have a very busy life, and I'm thankful for that. Uh can be a little less busy sometimes, but I'm thankful that we're healthy enough and that we're able to do the things that we do. And it's just it's just busy work around the house, busy work in other people's lives, blah, blah, blah. You know, all the things. We're all busy. But I looked at her the other day and I was like, hey, coming up, I want to make, well, you help me. I need I need you to schedule me a time to wash my truck. All right? And uh by golly, she did, and it worked. And she reminded me, and I was grateful for it. And it took me 25 years to realize that I had I had a gifted individual with time management at my expense. Because I've always wanted to do it my way or no other way, and I don't care what you think or what you do or how talented you are or something, I I got me. And uh, well, it's humbling, but it showed me something in my spirit. I need to allow the Lord as an individual to do his work and to be whatever he is to be, or whatever he needs, and to remove whatever he needs to remove from my life and from my spirit, put in whatever he needs to put in from my life and my spirit, and allow the tools around me to do their work. Whether that be for my spiritual gain or for my natural gain or physical gain or all of the above, I gained from that. I gained from that. I I I felt overwhelmed with what I had to get done for the next three days, and I told her what I needed and how much I needed, and this, I need I need help scheduling this, hon, I'm not real sure how I'm gonna get all this done. And because of the gift in her life, she laid it out for me and I got it done. That's something that I've never taken advantage of. Matter of fact, I've scoffed at it and hated it and been like, don't tell me no more. I don't want to hear nothing else. I'm just being open here. I don't want to hear no nothing. I don't, I, I, I, I'm doing this, and that's the end of that. I don't want to do that with the Lord.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I don't want to do that with the Lord. I don't want to shut the Lord out and shut the tools around me that God's put in my life and around me. And I don't want to shut, I don't want to shut things out. I don't want to uh think that my way is better than any way around me. I don't want to, I want to, I truly want to grab a hold of what Solomon said, that a wise man learns from all and a fool learns from none. And there's another part to that though, too, though. Even though you see that somebody in your life is gifted in this area or that area, I mean, that's my wife. There is no other closer being to me other than my wife. Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone is what we're working for. And if I refuse that type of help from her for over a quarter of a almost a quarter of a century, how much more am I able to overlook what God's trying to do for me? How much more am I able to overlook what the Holy Spirit is trying to do for me? How much more am I able to overlook what Jesus is trying to do for me in my life? It's very simple, but very hard. Very easy, easy to say, hard to do, but we're capable. I'm capable. I'm 44 years old, and I've been one way all my life. But if I can take that and learn from that at 44, with the mentality that I have and the way that I am in my spirit, so can you. So can you, so can you. I don't care if you're 54, 64, 74. I've watched my father learn more think more in these past two years at 73, 74, and 75 than I have the entire 16 years I've been here. And it's amazing. So I wanted to say all that. I wanted to just say that I'm thankful. I'm thankful to be here, I'm thankful for somewhere to come. You know, it really is just this simple. People think that they're doing what's right by God outside of the whole outside of being baptized filled with the Holy Spirit. Because they have to, or they wouldn't be doing it. They have to believe in what they're doing. You believed in what you were doing. You believed in what you was doing, you believed in what you were doing. I believed in what I was doing. As I stood in Brother Brentley's assembly with my hands raised, Holy Ghost filled, still so wrapped up in the world that I did uh on on with with uh soul tags and different things that I could never see without God showing me. He gave me a bird's eye view of that years later and showed me that in my and in my mind's eye and said, Well, did you not love me then? I said, Yes. He said, Well, are you are you there now or where are you now? Well, I'm way beyond that now. But you love me then. The difference here is that I listened when he knocked harder. People so often hear the knock, and they'll let him in to a certain degree, maybe in the four year or maybe in the front, right? But that's the end of that. No, he wants to come in and sit down on the couch. He wants to come in and get comfortable. He wants to come in and investigate the house. He doesn't want a surface relationship. And for so many years I've looked at that and thought, well, this, that, and the other. But instead of me and be jump being judgmental towards him, I just want to step back and let God do whatever he's going to do. Because there is a time when the line will be drawn on the sand, and that's none of my business. But when it does, when that does take place, by God, I'm gonna find myself on the right side of the line. And if they don't, they don't. With everybody. I want to be on the right side of the line. I know how it feels to teeter from back and forth. I know how it feels to ride the fence, I know how it feels to be angry, I know how it feels to be jealous, I know how it feels to be uh envious, I know how it feels to be to have doubt, I know how it feels to have materialism in my life, I know how it feels to be uh angry at my past, angry at my present, by God, angry at the future to come, and it ain't even came here yet, and I'm still angry about it. I know how it feels to have all those different things. I remember one message that Brother Mathis gave a long time ago when we was in the garage and I was we we would we had been here for a year or two, and he said, if there's he said, if there's a thousand flesh hooks, I have them all. And I've never forgot that because I found comfort in you saying that because I felt the same way. I know how it feels, and more so than a brother standing in chew leather wrapped up in the same sin that you are. The Lord knows how it feels. The Lord knows how it feels. The Lord knows where we are individually, he sees us, he hears us, he feels, and something that I, and because of him seeing in us and hearing us, and because of my actions a lot of times, does not portray my heart. You might feel one thing for me, I might even say one thing to you, but my heart is not that way, especially if it's bad. I'm thankful, like my brother and I was talking over the weekend, that he knows the intents of each one of his children's heart. The Bible says that uh he, Esau, Jacob did he love, and Esau did he hate from the womb.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because he knew his heart. And I know you struggle, I know some people struggle with that. How are you gonna hate a kid from the womb? Because he's God and he knew the heart. Don't question that any further. You can't do that. I can't hate somebody from the womb. But he can. That's right. Because he knew the heart, he knew the intents, he knew who he was. And by God, he did, he performed and acted and did exactly like God knew he was going to do as a hairy, beastly, worldly, carnal man. He was born a beast and died a beast. We're all born a beast, but we don't have to die a beast.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

I want, I, I, I, and, and, and, and this, I wanted to say one other thing. This is not a rebuke, okay? This is not a rebuke. It's out of concern. Because the level of God and the Holy Spirit and the amount of the thing, the Holy Spirit is is you it's always the same, don't get me wrong. It has levels just like we do, you know, heightened levels, like you've always said, Brother Mathis, uh, prop wash, jet propulsion, and rocket, right? We have all that. We get we get that, we understand that. But if you feel, or if you have been feeling like our our assembly doesn't quite have the level of anointing it should, or if the worship isn't the way you feel like it should be, or if you're not able to be touched by God, or if you're not able to reach up and touch God, right? And you're questioning our assembly over that, I I ask you, I I I I plead with you. Yes, I make an appeal to you that instead of seeing that is a group problem, question your personal walk. I'm not rebuking, I'm not throwing stones, I because I have been there. I have literally felt myself on the verge of being like this to everybody in this room. And let me tell you something. When it's three against one, seven against one, maybe. But when you feel like if there's thirty or forty wrong, and you're the only one that's right, better take them on. That's dangerous.

unknown

Yes, right, yes.

SPEAKER_02

Again, I am not rebuking. I've done that. I have propelled down that side of that ship and done that before. And I felt very, very, very scared once the Lord showed up onto the scene.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

There's not many things I haven't done. I'm not I'm not proud to say that. But I am proud to say that through the Holy Spirit and through the mercy and grace of God, I'm still standing. And I'm still here. I'm not where I want to be, but I'm not where I was. And I refuse. I refuse to let go of this ship. I don't care if it's dragging me by a rope, hanging off the propeller about to be cut off. I'm still hanging on. I'm not letting go. My vision has not changed. I know that this is the way. And if you don't believe that for you, then I I again I ask you, I beg of you, I I I counsel you to go back to your first love. Go back to what you first felt. Do we have problems? Yes, we have problems. But God is using this church. He's working with this church. I appreciated the message that Brother Jesse said last service. It was good. It was anointed. You need to play that back and listen to it. It was good. Very good. God's giving us the permit to work. All I have to do is keep my seat. And when you see me dragging, and I'm standing outside the door, proverbially speaking, spiritually speaking, hypothetically speaking, I wouldn't want to approach me, but try to approach me. Because I'm an elephant. I'm a rock, and I know that. But I'm going to allow God to do his work in my life.

unknown

Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

If you really look around, and we're going to go to the Lord in prayer. Try to limit. I think that the going to the Lord in prayer should be just that. 10, 15 minutes, and let's go. Try to set the shipping the channel, get what needs to be said, done, and let's work. Let's move on. But if you look around, all all seriousness here. All emotions out of the way as much as you possibly can. I did not call you here. You did not call me here. I can change not one thing about you. You cannot change one thing about me. But I can shut you out of my life. If I didn't call you here and you're still sitting here, then who called you here? Why are you here? It can't be for the pizza dinners anymore because that's not happening. Why are you here? It can't be because your mom brought you here. Can't be because your sister brought you here. Because some of those are gone. Whatever you was brought here, how you was brought here first, whatever first, whatever vehicle brought you here, that was just a temporary vehicle to get you here. But now years later, you're still sitting here. You're here. That's right. So if you're here and I didn't choose you to be here, and you didn't choose me to be here, and you're not here for Mike, and Mike's not here for Crystal, and Jay's not here for Mike, and Mike's not here for Ansley, then why are we here? We're here because God put us here. He drew you to be here. He pulled on you to be here. The boom truck catching on fire, that was just a vehicle. That's gone because you're still here. Jessica, because you wanting Jessica to marry her because of this, that's gone. That was just a temporary vehicle. You're here. You being friends with Jay, and that's what drew you, and different things, and blah, blah, blah. That's a temporary vehicle. You're still here. I'm here because God called me to be here. That's it. You're here because God called me to be here. You wouldn't try to boot somebody off your natural team if you, so to speak, would you, on a baseball team? No, you might hate them and this, that, and the other. But at the end of the day, you look at them and you're like, well, I can't stand you outside the doors, but you're a good base hitter. Get in there.

SPEAKER_05

Part of the team. It's all part of the team.

SPEAKER_02

I've never talked to you off of this playing field before, but I know you can catch. Get in there. When I look at you, I don't like the way you make me feel. But you're fast. Get in there.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

All that for a natural goal. How much more for a spiritual one? That's right. We have a common spiritual goal that is keeping us together, whether you like me, love me, or not, and vice versa. We have a common goal that's keeping us together. And there it's it you can wrap it all up in two words. What is it? Eternal life. And out of this little church is the ability and the possibility of eternal life. And guess what? It's so powerful, it don't matter where we meet. We can be here today and in green tomorrow. And from green, we can travel to South Dakota and preach there. We can go to a chicken coop in Illinois if we want to. And that same possibility, that same capability is coming out of this ministry that God's building right here. This ministry that God's building, this group of people that God is putting together. We're all being asked to do a certain thing. Find your comfortable spot. Stop trying to take Moses' spot. Stop trying to go back down in the sea of humanity. Find your comfortable spot on the side of that mountain and sit and wait. Sit and wait. Sit and wait. I appreciate what God's doing. I'll save that for another time. I uh I need to get closer to the Lord. Our pastor's getting closer to the Lord. And that's okay for me to lag behind a little while, but soon and very soon it starts with our pastor. But when he is reconciled and he is done with certain things in his life, and the judgmental spirit and the religious spirit and the self-righteous spirit has been 100% eradicated out of his life, where do you think it comes next? To the ministry and then to the flock. I've known that for some time, and it's getting scary. Brother Lenninger coined this. He said, if you want to get close to me, you better get ready for the heat because it's hot. Because where I stand is hot. Meaning he stood, he stood as close as he could to the Lord. And what is what is our Lord? A fiery furnace. That's right. Consuming fire. A consuming fire. It's hot. But that's what it's going to take. That's what it's going to take. We don't have to walk around Bible thumping. We don't have to, I want to get to the point to where I don't even have to say anything to anybody. I don't have to wear, wear your crosses. I like crosses, they're pretty. Wear your t-shirts, that's great. But I don't even want to have to say anything to them. I don't want to make them feel uncomfortable. I don't want to make them feel too much freedom. I want them to be slightly like, ah, I don't, there's something about you, I don't know what it is. But at the end of the conversation or the end of the work week or something, finally it dawns on them. Wait a minute. You're one of them church folk, ain't you? Well, there's nothing else. There's nothing more to say, really. It's just that easy, it's just that simple, it's just that hard. Nobody has to go anywhere. None of you. Not myself. We don't have to leave this place of refuge if we don't want to. He's not asking us to be perfect. He's not asking us to know it all, to see it all. My God, there were 38 women in the upper room that couldn't even read and write. You think they knew all life's mysteries? Nope. And then Paul settled it like my wife read to me the other day, though I know all of life's mysteries. Move mountains. Faith to move mountains. And have not one word. Charity. It is as of what does it say? Tinkling symbols. It's tinkling symbols. And Paul, I am nothing. Charity. Charity. Covers it out. Covers it all. Is there any prayer requests today? I have one. I'd like for you to pray for me. To uh to just pray for my family. Because we're going through things just like you all are. All four of us. I need prayer. Addison's not with us. She's at camp this week. But uh just ask you to pray for pray for Tim, Trisha, Ansley, and Addison. Ask us to pray that the Lord will help us to truly be able to be in this world, but not of it, but without an awkward spirit. That awkwardness moves, pushes people little people away. We don't need it. So I'm about 10 minutes, 10, 15 minutes over here. So let's uh any or any other requests. I have unspoken, brother. Unspoken is from Brother Jesse. Anybody else? I have unspoken. Unspoken from Brother Connell. Brother, yeah, brother Jason mentioned uh his mother and his father. We need to continue to the Lord will help Brother Tim. That's a that's a buddy. He's probably got what 20 years on you having the same thing, right? Yeah, yeah. He's doing good though. We went over and visit him for a minute. He's doing good. Yeah. Well, I mean, that was only day three, two, but you know, he's doing good. Your mom didn't look too worn down, so that's good, you know. She was still spry, cracking jokes and stuff, and telling us that she was uh a quarter or an eighth Indian. We got to talking about all that. Then, of course, your dad jumped in there and started saying a bunch of funny stuff about that. She's like, Yeah, that's what's wrong with her. She's in there doing her, you know, doing her war, crying rain dance in the kitchen, you know, and all that stuff. And so that was pretty funny. But uh, anybody else? Anybody, anybody else need prayer, Brother Mathis?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Justin, Amy, and Paula.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, yep. Please continue to pray for them. Uh, please continue to pray for Justin and Amy and Paula and their children. Uh, that the Lord will give them wisdom and courage and strength and understanding. And I pray for the same prayer for Luke and Courtney and his children. And uh my sister. Pray for my sister and her family. I'll just say my sister and her family down south. Brother Jason. Yes. Brother Jason and Sister Amy. What did you say? Yeah, okay, that's what I thought you said. Yeah, yeah. I want to make sure. My hearing's I'm 44 now, so I gotta double check. Brother Alex. Yeah, buddy. Wait, wait till you get in there and start working at it. Trish and I have done it twice, so we know. That's lots of fun. Uh yeah, yeah, we will. That's a lot, brother. It's a lot. It's very special time, but it's very scary, very hectic. You have a lot of anxiety and different things. You just hang on that uh as long as you are asking the Lord daily that your will be done with this Lord, then I'm gonna accept whatever comes. Because He doesn't do, He doesn't put on us more than what we can bear. That's a promise from His Word. So, Alex and Brother Alex and Sister Dana, they're they're their uh journey of buying that home there. Yep. Anyone else, Jess? Yes, amen. Just got some physical needs. There's many of those, aren't there? I need a physical, I need the Lord to touch my physical body. I need the Lord, if if not a healing, just uh just help me to have more discipline to help myself and put this to sleep. I've had a rough couple months. Feels like it's changing. So that's not a good sign. That means there's mutation or whatever you want to call it going on here. Anybody else?

SPEAKER_06

Amen.

SPEAKER_02

And Sam needs prayer, absolutely. Absolutely, brother, brother Luke. Yep. Let's lift up the Stanley family. You know I can. I feel like there's a uh I feel like the Lord's gonna hear a prayer. Not that he doesn't hear every prayer every time we go to the Lord in prayer. I just feel a different spirit here today. You know what I can see in your eyes is genuinity that you need help. So as we go to the Lord in prayer, I'm gonna try to remember every one of these, and Sister Trisha's gonna help me. But as we go to the Lord in prayer, and as I'm calling each one out, ask the Lord to touch your individual situation. Ask the Lord to help you. He's here to help today. I believe he's here to I believe he's here, you know. There was specific times he came to answer prayer. Not that he doesn't always hear, but there was specific appointed times where he came to answer prayer.

SPEAKER_08

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

And this I'll grant for you today. I feel like we might, I feel like there might be some of these touches, if not, or some of these needs, if not all of them, touched here today. But I have one question for you before we go to the Lord in prayer. What do you think that question is? What is it, brother? Are you willing? Are you willing? Brother Alex, are you willing? Are you willing, brother? Are you willing? Are you willing? Am I willing? Am I willing to let the Lord do what he wants to do when we stand to our feet out of sheer faith, speaking into the oblivion of just space, that he's hearing us, knows us, sees us, and wants to help us today. Are you willing to do whatever he tells you to do? Are you willing to hear whatever he has to say to you? Are you willing to do, are you willing to accept whatever he says? And if the answer to that question is yes, then you're worthy of what comes next. And that's the answer to your prayer. Let's all stand and go to the Lord in prayer.

SPEAKER_17

Lord, I'm not willing to come before you here today. Dear Lord. I don't feel a willing bone in my body to lift my voice up to you today, Lord.

SPEAKER_15

Jesus, send your shirt.

SPEAKER_17

I had a feeling on the way in today that the Lord that you is going to put it upon my father's heart and ask me to take us to prayer. I felt it, Lord, because of my my the sin that's in my life and the things that I do and the transgressions that I have still. Yes, Lord. I feel zero willingness or not willingness. I feel zero worthiness, Lord, to stand before you and ask you to not only for myself, but for my family and for my brothers and sisters here.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, you can come in, seek of okay.

SPEAKER_17

But I ask you, Lord, to overlook my sins today. Overlook the things that's not right in my life. As I lift my voice for all of us here in this room, Jesus, I ask you to hear it, hear me, Lord.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, God, let's look at prayer to your life.

SPEAKER_17

I'm asking to hear us as a group, as a as a family, as a prayer. A garner that you're putting together, Lord, with every request made here today. Jesus, I lift up to you the Stanley family, and that you'll please see and hear. I know you see, Lord, but I ask you, Lord, to that you'll get that you'll that you'll supply unto them the very need, and whatever the reason is that Brother Stanley has for that, Lord. And I know that you don't take it lightly that when we're willing and we have enough faith to say things out loud like that. That means um that that means the the the weight and gold, Lord. I know that. I know that because that's a willingness from Brother Luke, and that's a faith that he has in the spirit that he fills here and the covering that's upon this ministry, Lord. Ask you, Lord, to touch the Stanley family, Lord Jesus. Oh God, ask you, Lord, to touch the Snyder family, Jesus. All the needs with this buying a home in and out, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

Oh God today, from this day forward, Lord, that if that's not where you want them to be, that you'll stop that deadness track.

SPEAKER_17

That if it is where you want them to be, let it carry on and move forward. We pray, Lord Jesus, for Jessica and her request for the things in her body, the physicality needs that she has, Lord. Whatever those be, you know each and every one of them, Jesus, and I ask you, Lord, to touch them.

SPEAKER_02

I ask you, Lord, that you'd see fit to touch her body, Lord. We'll give you praise and thanks and glory and honor. He didn't request it, but I pray for Brother Mathis and his in his and his physical needs.

SPEAKER_17

I ask you, Lord, to touch his body. Oh God, you know as time goes on and these types of diseases that we have, I don't even have to say it out loud.

SPEAKER_02

You know what it does, Lord. And I ask you to touch his body, Lord. I ask for the unspokens of my brother Jesse and our pastor, brother Connell. I ask you, Lord, to touch their needs, Lord. We pray for the Gaynor family, Jesus, as they're sitting at home because of Brother Gaynor's knee replacement, that you'll touch him, that you'll help him, that you'll let every ligament, every joint, all the different things that needs to be healed to heal properly, Lord, and that you'll give Sister Gaynor uh uh uh uh uh energy and and uh give her a uh give her strength in her body to help Brother Tim, Lord. And help him, Lord Jesus, as he was talking about having to take all that medication. I just ask you, Lord, to help him with that, Jesus. Pray for my daughter Addison as she's gone away to camp, that you'll that you'll use this time, Lord Jesus, to speak to her heart and to speak and speak unto her mind, Lord. I pray, Lord Jesus, for the request of Brother Jason, him and his wife Amy, Lord, that you'll touch them. Our sister Amy, Lord. Pray that you'll touch the touch the marriages in this in this in this room, touch the individuals in this room, Lord. Pray for Sam as she requested for prayer, Lord, that you'll touch her, help her, Lord. Continue to give her peace, Lord. I pray for those with children, uh, Amber and uh the Esephis and the Snyders and the Borthongs. I pray, Lord, that you'll touch them, Lord. Give them strength in their marriage because it takes strength, it takes strength to raise those children properly, and I know you know that, Lord. Strength in the between the two of them, the mother and the father. And the child has to feel that strength, Lord. And I know that you're raising three strong families there to rear up them children. You're adding it to the church naturally, right there, Lord. And I ask you to give them give them the wisdom and the understanding and and and and the patience and the love and all the things that they need to rear them, to rear those children properly. And I pray for all of our youth, Lord, all of them. Just my daughters, Jack. I uh I pray I continue to pray that you'll please touch them, Lord, that you'll help them, Lord. Continue to show them that this is the path, this is the way, Lord. And ask you to touch Justin and Amy and their children and Paula down south. And I just pray, Lord, that you'll that you'll touch uh Luke and Courtney and their children down there, Lord. Ask you to touch my sister and all of her family, my niece Sarah and Michael and Kevin and just all of them, Lord. Sarah's family. We pray for your will to be done. And I thank you, Lord, as we sat there over the weekend and I looked at the pictures, and my mother's a testament, a testimony of what the Holy Spirit can do for an individual.

SPEAKER_17

As I looked at the pictures one year ago, and she could barely hold her head up, let alone walk and do different things, and here she stands, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

I know that that's a testament of what your power can do and what your authority can do, and what being a part and present inside this assembly and part of this ministry can do for people's lives. I thank you for it, Lord. I praise you for it, Lord. I thank you for all that you're providing and all that you do and all that you've done. And ask you to bless the music, Lord. Help us here today to come forth into worship and to receive prayer, Lord, and to do whatever you'd put upon our hearts to do. And then I pray for the Holy Spirit baptism, Jesus. Dear God, there's no need to mention names. You know who needs it, you know who has it, and you know who needs refills, because there's some of us in this room that needs refills, guaranteed. Guaranteed. And you needing a refill or me needing a refill is just as important as somebody getting it. And I know that you know that, Lord. And I just ask you, Jesus, that if you'd see fit, Lord, to touch those needing the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to touch those that have it and need a refilling of it, Lord. And I ask you to have your way today, Lord. Help me to stay out of your way. I pray for everybody and everybody in your body of Christ around the world. We all come together to get collectively. And it's in your name. Amen. Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Yes, Lord. Thank you for that river, Lord, for life. Thank you, God. Thank you, God.

unknown

I come in here today with the bad spirit.

SPEAKER_07

I come in here today with the bad spirit. Yeah. Brother Connell come back to shook hands with me, and I said, Well, I might as well go home or go pray. One of the two. He prayed for me, but it didn't take away the first.

SPEAKER_15

Sure. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So Sister Connell, I felt better, but I wasn't right. So Sister Connell come back and took the other and I thought, oh, do I want to do this? But I'm gonna say hello.

SPEAKER_15

Bless your Lord. Praise God. Yes, Jesus. Praise his holy name.

SPEAKER_09

A few months ago, I had a couple of dreams. And the first one was I was just like in a body of water, and it was like the seas were really, really rough, and I was having a hard time like staying afloat. And then within the same week, not the same day, but like maybe a couple days later, I had another dream where I was in like a structure or a house and we were getting ready for some sort of party or celebration or something. And then I looked out the window and there was a huge flood happening. And so we started like running and starting to try and find protection. And it was like really, really crowded, and people were just like kind of all on top of each other, and someone pulled up my necklace. And my necklace was across with Ada's burst out. And I had to like try and fight them to get it back. And then last week I think I was kind of just praying and reflecting on stuff. And those dreams came back to me. And it kind of just showed me that you just have to keep treading, you have to keep fighting, you have to go through things, you just have to stay afloat and keep yourself up. And the verse also goes along with that. And it's Isaiah 43, 2. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. And to me, and I hope I'm interpreting it right, kind of just felt like when you're going through things, the Lord is with you. And when you're going through the fire, you're going through the hard times, just to stay afloat. The Lord is with you. And I just want to share.

SPEAKER_10

Thank you, Sister Dana, for that um sharing that with us.

SPEAKER_15

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_10

It was beautiful. And um, you know, it's easy. I was I was asked a question by someone and they asked me why I was here. And the first thing that I could say was, because I love the Lord. That's why I'm here. No other reason. There's no other reason to be here. If you don't love the Lord, then you're I mean you're here, and we're thankful if you don't love the Lord, but um still yet, um just loving the Lord is reason enough to be setting here today and um for all he's done for me. And and um I was talking with someone else, and um you get weary at times, and you feel like uh you can't put one foot in front of the other, and and um you don't you never think about giving up, but you just think you can't go on anymore sometimes, and it gets very discouraging at times. That's true. But at the same time, if you know what the Lord's done for you all of your life, from the time you were just a child, a small child, um, the things that He's brought you through and how He's watched you, and and even when the waters are rough, um the river's always calm, as Brother Pommel says. So when the sea of life gets really hard on us, we can go into the to the to the river of life and find peace. And um, I'm just appreciative today to be here. I'm appreciative for what the Lord's doing in our lives, I'm appreciative for the church, what God's doing for the church and all of his people everywhere, not just our little flock, as you said, but the entire flock of God throughout the whole world. He's creating um a body of people that is going to um come together and have eternal life. And I I can't imagine spending eternal life with anyone better than my brothers and sisters. Um what a privilege that'll be someday to have just peace and and nothing else troubling you all the time. And um I'm just thankful for all the prayers for Samantha. I know that she's sitting here today, um and she's she's been through a lot since November, but um the prayers have helped and they've got her through a lot. She still needs a lot of prayers, she's she's struggling with some different things in her little life, but I still think of her as a baby and not a 51-year-old woman. And um, so it's hard sometimes to see her going through things, and but I know that the Lord sees her, and he has. If there's one person I know that the Lord sees, it's Samantha. I know that she loves him. I know that she feels his presence when she's uh in church. I know she can feel his presence. She felt it in the hospital rooms, and when she was asked what she was feeling, she felt Jesus is what she said. She felt the Lord. And so I'm thankful for that in her condition that she has that love for the Lord. That's right. Um that I I just can't even fathom the love that she has for the Lord. But I'm thankful. I'm thankful for everyone, I'm thankful for all my brothers and sisters, I'm appreciative, and I just want to go on and strive and have eternal life someday with all of the other days. Amen.

SPEAKER_15

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_15

Praise God. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord, thank you.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God, praise God.

SPEAKER_15

There's something on your heart now today.

SPEAKER_14

This is the way God is starting to go here.

SPEAKER_15

Don't miss out. Your heart beat.

SPEAKER_14

God's got something in your heart to say to the church.

SPEAKER_00

It does help anybody who's listening who can't be with us, so it comes in on the microphone that Brother Alex uses, so that's a really good help, so I appreciate everybody. That's something new that we've never done, so I appreciate that. I just wanted to say I just my heart's beating like it like we've all felt before. And you know, if anybody has eyes to see here, you can kind of see what the channel that Brother Tim kind of led us into with the Lord's help today. And, you know, there is a thankfulness. I mean, Sister Becky's testimony is about thankfulness about the Lord hearing her prayer and turning her day around. And Pat's testimony was about thankfulness as well. Just thankful for everything that the Lord's done for and will do for it and Samantha and so on and so forth. And Dana's testimony is thankfulness, knowing that the Lord's gonna be here and you're gonna be there for us. And you know, Tim's Tim's little that was a 30-minute message he gave us. I mean, that was a mouthful the whole time. But if you all the messages that have been coming forth lately have been from the Lord, from Jesse, from Brother Colin, from Tim. And I uh it's very important that you listen to what's being said from the ministry. And if you just listen to what Brother Tim said about, you know, he said his father's coming up on a higher ground. The Lord's been doing something in the last two years than he hasn't seen him do for the last 30 or 40 or whatever it may be. And so, what's that mean for us? Our, like Tim said, it runs downhill. You know, that's a that's a natural term that people say that isn't very good, but uh spiritually speaking, it does run downhill. Whatever whether Tom goes through or the Lord puts him through trials, tests, whatever it may be, once he's overcame those or gotten through those for the for his season, well then it goes down to the ministry and then down to us and then to our families, to our children, to so on and so forth. And the same thing with us men in our homes, we're the first partakers of all the fruit. And then it comes downhill. So sometimes if I'm going through something, uh there's been times where I'm like, man, I'm feeling this way. And I told Andrew's like, well, they're gonna come to you guys. So, you know, if everybody wants to help me, you know what I mean, or whatever it is, I'm just joking. But uh what Tim was saying there, me and Jesse was talking about it down worship the other day, is uh you said uh Esau and Jacob, right, brother? Yes. Yeah, so one was hated from the womb, right? And that's a scary that's a scary thing. I don't know if I'm hated from the womb, I I I 99.9% believe I'm not, but you know, I'm sure Esau went his whole life thinking that, well, you know, we'll see what happens. You know what I mean? So like Tim said, people do have a hard time with that. Same thing with Judas on the cross, right? Or Judas Iscariot and the thief on the cross. Yeah, right? People have a hard time understanding that, right? But if you break it down just a little bit and just have you open up your eyes just a little bit spiritually and just think about what is happening here, and it repeats throughout the Bible over and over and over. Esau and Jacob, Cain and Abel, so on and so forth, right? It just repeats and repeats and repeats. And why does it why does it repeat so many times, right? When the message ultimately is the same outcome for all of them, right? And me and Jesse was talking about, you know, Joseph, right? Joseph, sold into slavery, you guys know the story. But why was him? He had ten other brothers who were out to get him, not just one and not just one and the other, but it wasn't just Cain and Abel. It was ten of them that despised him. They were jealous, they were envious, they had strife against him. They had all these different things that I have in me on a daily basis that I try to overcome, right? Sure. But, and then here's the kicker, right? If you think about this, Joseph and Benjamin had different mothers. Naturally speaking, they had different mothers than the rest of them, right? So that makes them different. But at the same time, they were blessed because they were willing. That's all it came down to. If those other ten brothers that Joseph had and Benjamin had were smart and spiritual, they would have looked at Joseph and been like, Well, brother, you're having these dreams. Maybe we should ask Dad about this. Yeah. Because that's that would have been ordered, that would have been the proper thing, and they would have been blessed abundantly early. They wouldn't have to go through a famine and a hardship and all these different things, years and years and years of struggle and hardship over something that could have been avoided all along. That's good. And it's no different, like I said. It goes through all time, it repeats Cain and Abel. Cain was cursed. He went off into the lane of Nod and he brought forth a you know a bad um seed. Yeah, he brought home a yeah, he brought forth a bad seed, a bad offering. Yeah. And Abel was willing to give his absolute very best. It's like those t-shirts we wear that say, oh man, are we giving our absolute very best? And the difference between Isaac and Ishmael, for example, they had the same circumstances. Isaac and Ishmael were raised with the same circumstances. They had the same opportunities, the same choices, the same everything. One chose the Lord, one chose the earth, and that's just the end of it. We really don't have to think too much deeper into it, is that one chose one way and one chose the other, and the Lord, and God knowing all things and being the Alpha and the Omega and the beginning and the end and all these words that we know, he knew that from before their creation. That no matter what you put in front of Ishmael, no matter what it is, I don't care if it's a brick of gold that says this will be blessed, will bless you and your generations for the and for the eons of time, he wouldn't have faltered because that's just it was in his heart to be that way. Right. And it's not it's not God to change that because then are we really in control of anything? Are we are we choosing a server order? Is he forcing you to do that? There you go. There's a difference, and you have to decipher that. And so as we continue to serve the Lord and hear these messages, some of them are very serious. So very serious, very deep. And like Brother Tim said today, we are hearing, and Jesse said in the last service, we're hearing a message that is different than what the world's hearing. And while Babylon is out there doing good things, there's good things out there. I mean, you'd be a fool to say that there's not good things happening out there in some form, right?

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

But it it's it's like they're stunted. It's stunted growth. Oh, yeah. There's a pinnacle that they're going to reach very, very early that they will not surpass because it's not possible. Spiritually, not possible. Naturally speaking, uh, me and Brother Bailey, we were big into uh fish tanks and aquariums and stuff. And one thing he taught me early on when he was getting the answer was your fish will only grow to the size of the tank that they are in. At some point, they will stop growing. It is just natural selection, that's just what it is. They will stop growing at some point. If I have a 55-gallon aquarium and I have a fish that grows to be two and a half foot long, it will not get that big. It will stop under a foot long because it just cannot grow in the environment that it's in. And it's no different with us, right? This is an aquarium sort of street, but spiritually, bring it over to the spiritual. We have a message that can outgrow any any aquarium that we're in, right? Spiritually speaking. It doesn't matter. And that's the difference between us and Babylon and anyone else out there, even people that are that say that they're in our body, it's different. They have stunted growth. It's not possible. And that's because of the perfection message that we're hearing, or the maturing message that we're hearing. And that's no different than these people who believe in a devil out here, or anything else around here. And I and I really, when Brother Tim said something that really cut me to the core, and maybe just because this is essentially all I've ever known, I guess. I grew up in an Islamic household world, kind of 50% maybe. And so he had made a comment where he said he wasn't rebuking anybody, and he had said, if there's anybody who's questioning the um basically like the the the uh the the the gifts that that's coming forth in the in the church and just like the um the ministry there it is, crystal said it. The anointing on our on our pastor in our in our in our church here, I mean that that was kind of a shell shock for me, because in my mind, I don't know how could you? You know what I mean? And so it's possible. It's possible, right? It's possible for any of us. And so that that was a really like a like a shell shock for me. It was like a shock in all. I'm like, man, like, because I have a hard time looking around. I mean, I know it's possible, but I have a hard time looking around and being like, how how could you question what you see or hear? And it's I feel it reminds me of that story that Brother Connell tells about that um old brother that was part of the ministry and part of the the church his entire life and never heard nothing else. And when someone told him that people believe in the devil, he cried and was like, what are you talking about? Like, yeah, how? You know what I mean? And his heart was hurting because he couldn't believe that there's something else other than what we know, you know. So that's all I really wanted to say, but I just wanted to say that I do appreciate everybody, and just like you said, just like Isaac and Ishmael, they had the same circumstances, and we have the same, we all have the same circumstances. If we're hearing this message, we have the same circumstances to make the bride, to do whatever it is that the Lord's calling us to do. We have the same circumstances. Judas is scary, have the same circumstances as all the other 11 disciples. So just keep that in mind as we uh move on, and like I said, I want to edify and uplift, that's what the purpose of testimonies are.

SPEAKER_03

So very good.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Keep bearing with us with the microphone. We've got my run around, pass it down to whoever needs it, so just let that be part of the norm. Don't let it end you from getting up or anything like that.

SPEAKER_04

Very good, brother. Praise God. Thank you. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_06

God is good. Our preacher is good. Yes. We love him. Glad God sent us to him to the proof. You're right, brother. If we're listening to the Lord's word and because he gave us a helpmate, if we listen to our sometimes, we'd be better off. But being mean and always being hard-headed, we ain't gonna listen to a helpmate. Sometimes we're gonna go our way or no way. Um it comes into an argument because you didn't listen to it. That's right. Somebody's trying to help you. I apologize to my wife. That's good, brother. Yes. You got kids, you don't want to talk about anything. I mean eating things for them. Even though they grow up, move out of the house, you still love that child. I mean though they're 40 years old, you still love that child. But when you lose a child, huh? Two people in your family didn't show up. My two brothers didn't show up here. I asked the world to help me to give that. Hold on to that, hold on to that. Oh God.

SPEAKER_13

Jesus helped us lord.

SPEAKER_06

Every time I'm went down there, all I'm gonna do is run up and straight up and ask them why you show up. Yeah. Why were you there? Thank the Lord, Lord grab up. I never done that. Amen, brother. But knowing the understanding that we have in this church, I think that's why I never acted like that towards them. And now I forgive them.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God, that's it.

SPEAKER_06

As much as I love how the top I know the word I know where they're gonna be at. I know the understanding of that. Because I love my child. I love my grandson. Granddaughter. Amen, brother. I'll draw a cat or do anything for anything. Yeah. You got kids, you understand what I'm trying to talk to say is how much you love your kids. Yes. How much does God love us? That's right. I ask for his forgiveness that I'm not doing what he wants me to do. Being rebellious, being overheaded, not listening. How can I tell him to listen when I'm not listening? Yes, amen. Yeah. How can I tell Tim something when I'm not listening? It's good. And vice versa. What can I tell you? I'll praise God for this truth. Praise the Lord. I'll thank you. For the truth. If I didn't have this crew, I would never want to get there all the stuff with this truth. I know why I'm here. The Lord brought us here. Ain't nobody brought us here for the Lord. Amen. But I know what I was doing. I know where I would be at. I know what I would be doing. Yep. I'm glad the Lord cleaned my life up. But not when I feel alive right now. If he would have cleaned my life up.

SPEAKER_15

Yes, brother. I'm grateful. Amen. Yes, you Jesus. Thank you, Lord. You know.

SPEAKER_06

I love the word. I love all my brothers and sisters. Amen. We might not get together as much as we should. You know, I apologize for that. Should have called my brothers and sisters more. Well, my brothers, not my sisters. But should call my brothers more and talk to them and get together more. Yeah. We're family. This is my family now. That's right.

SPEAKER_11

Amen. It's good, mate.

SPEAKER_06

I got family down south, but my true family. And the Lord is right here. Absolutely. The world is right here. That's right. And I know where this word is going to get me. It's going to get me eternal life. If I just sit here and listen and obey and do what the Lord wants me to do with being so hard-headed about everything. Get mad about this, get mad about that, do this, do that. I just listened. I told Brother Calm the whole night, Lord, been working on me. Since that happened with Isaac, my brother would show up. I've been it really took something from me. I got kind of got hard. Sure. Toward people. Sure. You know. And Louis been working on me. I told Brother Pong's been working on me to try to get me more sensitive. Or tenderhearted. I won't be tenderhearted to the word. I want to be the one who sit down and kneel down and cry, crap the Lord. I wish I was like that more. I wish the Lord just keep touching me and working on me for that. He is being so hard-headed and not sit here and go up here and praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yes, he is.

SPEAKER_06

Stand back there like a knot on the wall. Like Tim's got. Even Jason. He's got it. A lot of sisters got it. I think all sisters have got all that. I wish I could do that. I wish the Lord could I praise the Lord to work on my hearthead in this way. Let go. Let go and be free to walk up there and just praise the Lord. Stop crying. Yes, Lord. He is brother. Jason God. Well, Jason's got the Tina hearted. He gets up there and praise the Lord and take a ball now, right? Yeah. I wish I had that. Yes, Jesus. Well, I'm glad the Lord worked on me and got me to forgive. Amen. And quit harbor and stuff. Yes. But all that's gonna do, all that was gonna do is just eat me up. Yeah, it's true. That's a fact. Good matters. Praise the Lord. Praise God. And brother, like Ken said, I use helpmate. Yes. She said that God gave us gave us our helpmate for a reason. Yes. I was so right to be not as hard-headed anymore. Praise the Lord, brother. I appreciate you. I love y'all.

SPEAKER_04

Praise God.

SPEAKER_12

It's been quite some time since we've had, I think, testimonies. That's right. And since I've testified. And it can be hard because testifying is not easy. You get nervous and it's a very vulnerable moment. But it's a good thing because we get to hear from the saints. And one of the brothers said it's an active way to see how the Word of God is working in the saints' lives. So you see dreams, experiences, forgiveness, things you just you're walking through. And so it's a special time to share. And so I appreciate that. And I appreciate being a part of this more than words can say. And sometimes I don't appreciate being a part of it. Like Brother Connell said before, you can be thankful to be here, and sometimes you don't feel that way. So we're a church that truly does set in heavenly places. And just like Tim said today, I have had the moments of trying to find my place on that mountain, of not going up too far, not going down, getting around a golden image, or the things that the children was doing down below. Amen. Of finding my place. Like uh I remember, you know, back then, if you could say it that way. I'm thankful to feel the sword coming back into my life because it's uh it's bringing life back to me. And the Lord's been um working on my case because uh I had a severe case of uh is it road hypnosis he preached on months and months ago, you know, where you're just going down the road and he gets at one point to the other one, and you don't even really pay attention to the driving. You guys know what that is. So I realized that was me over the last um couple years, and um so I'm thankful that that word of God's out again and that sword's out. It's helping me, and the Lord's been shaking me around ever since uh January 5th when the doctors call about Ansley's MRI results. He's been working in my life and waking me up and reviving me and straightening me it, straightening me out, and pulling weeds and all the analogies that Brother Connell teaches us. I feel those things going on in my life, and I appreciate it very much.

SPEAKER_11

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

And I'm thankful for this garner, and I actually was considering um that thought this morning, getting ready for church, and that we get to be a part of that, and that um we will get to help people. We've already helped people, we've we're helping one another. And um, I was thinking on the scripture that um the in Philippians, and it says uh it's Philippians 1, 6, and I love it because it says being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. And we're not supposed to put any confidence in the flesh and lean on the arm of flesh, but you can put your confidence in the fact that God has called you here, and there is room at the table for everyone. Jesus has a table spread where all God's children are gonna be fed, and we've got to already show up here. So I'm thankful for that. So when you lose sight of things, or you feel low on yourself, or like Sister Dana shared her dreams, that was the Lord was encouraging her to keep on. You gotta this is a fight. This is a fight, amen. A battle. You know, we can't we can't icen that up too much. This is a fight for our life, and so but we can be confident that he's gonna be he began a good work in you and he'll perform it until the day of Jesus Christ comes. So, like Tim says, and I that was my very thought this morning was if I just don't quit.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

That's simple words, but man, do they mean something. Brother Connell says, if you don't throw in the towel, the Lord won't throw in the towel on you.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

It's it really is that way. If you'll just keep at this. Um, and I found where was it at when I was digging through something a second ago? I think I dropped it. Oh, cool, thank you, brother. Brother Connell wrote this and or said this, and I just wrote it. It's simple, but again, so profound. My life depends on this, is what he told us. Our lives depend on this.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

It really does.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

But we have it, we have something, and if we'll think on that and be confident in that, that he has everything we need here to get the job done. Wherever you're sitting in whatever heavenly place. I think about that when I look at all of us, and different ones are getting prayer, or they're, you know, you see people up one service praising God, and they might not be feeling so good the next. Well, we're finding our place on the side of that mountain. We're doing like it says in Psalms, where it says he gives us hindsfeet that puts us up out. It's um he gives us hindsfeet to sit in high places uh in Psalms. And I love that because it says in Psalms 18 and 30. Excuse me, my eyeballs.

SPEAKER_11

Take your time.

SPEAKER_12

18 and 33, he maketh my feet like hindsfeet, setteth me upon high places. And if you think about that, the hinds of an animal that goes and sits on the sides of those mountains, and their hinds are built in by God that way to stand in those very narrow, hard, uncomfortable places. And that's what he does for us. So no matter where you are, you might be in a decent place today, but maybe tomorrow or next week you might find yourself in a struggle or a hard place. Just remember that. Be confident in Jesus that he's gonna finish this work in us if we just hang in there. He's gonna get the job done. We have all the tools, like we heard, we're gonna be that gardener for God's people, and it's just a wonderful opportunity, and I don't take advantage of it enough. And I've realized that now that the sword's been out, is that we've got something, and and I have everything like he said, the recipe, is it the recipe or the ingredients? We have it all right here to get the job done, and so I want to do that more. And the one thing I wanted to share too, he said, and I don't have it dated, it's um actually on a sticky note list thing, anyway. We're not getting the results we want because we are not cooperative enough, we aren't working with the Lord enough to be pliable, and brother Carl said that months ago, and he kind of was bringing that in when he was saying how we don't we're not using our full opportunity, or however you guys probably remember that he was putting it like the the the opportunity we have here, the message we have here. Uh we're not living up to our full potential, is how you were kind of putting it, and the recipe and the ingredients. And I've been thinking on that, like, wow, I really like I can do this. I can do this through the Lord, and you can do this, and we can do this. That's right, right. So I just appreciate the Lord. I appreciate getting to be here, and um, I feel like I'm forgetting something, but again, I'm I'm a little rusty at this. So I wanted to sing something real quick, though, that was on my heart when somebody was saying something. It's a um a course, and we will learn it. When we get the band back, that's gonna be another added blessing, Saints. The band and the live music is precious and the worship, and so we've got a lot to look forward to. We do. So just keep letting the word of God work in your life.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_12

Feel yourself put in those places, let him give you hindspeed that you can stand there, like Brother Tim said, find your place on that mountain. Amen. So wait on the Lord and be patient and of good courage and confidence that he's gonna do this for us. And so the course goes um, uh it's part, I feel too part of my testimony, and maybe a lot of us that we're getting to still be here after all this time, and um, I don't want to get uh complacent or um taking advantage of anything or for taking it for granted. It says, Thank you, Lord, for living sweaty. But I'm so glad I'm in this race and I'm still here.

SPEAKER_04

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, praise God, praise his Lord, praise the Lord Praise the Lord, praise your praise.

SPEAKER_01

So I uh I mentioned it or alluded to it a little earlier in um the whole house buying process. It is the most stress I've ever felt in my life. Um and I don't sleep anymore. I mean I I I I get that light asleep. Um I just I don't there's just so much weight that seems on me all the time now. And I'll tell you what, I think it's good to bring up the bad just as often as you bring up the good, because a lot of us have the bad. And I lost faith. Um not fully, but just trust in the Lord's plan and timing. I lost it. You know, we get a couple things that go right and then something goes wrong, and we have to deal with that, and blah blah blah. We you know, put an offer on a house, we get outbid by $20,000. I mean, that's just nothing you can do. And I have to realize that there is nothing I can do. I'll tell you what though, one of the biggest faith builders I have is Dana. Because, I mean, you guys know us, we've been here for uh about a year and a half, now a little over. I don't mind talking in front of anyone or to anyone, I can talk about anything. Uh, Dana. And this isn't a shot at Dana. We all know who we are, and Dana is a very quiet and reserved person. That's just who she is, and I love her for it. And that's it. And I, you know, for her to stand up and talk and give her dreams, I just, you know, it tells me it's real. For her to get the Holy Ghost, you know, it tells me it's real. It's not that I don't believe any of you, it's not that I don't believe myself. But for her to experience it, I know she's not going to make it up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

She told me those dreams right after she had we were sitting on the couch, and I said, yeah, share, you know, and at that point I was it left my mind. I thought there was something, but I didn't put too much thought into it. And her saying that now, and then after the conversation I had with Brother Tim today during worship, um, it got me thinking. So through this whole process and through life in general, honestly, the last couple months, um I've been swimming against the current. So those flood waters, they're always there. Amen. You know, we're we're always gonna be dealing with that pressure of one thing or another in life. And I'm trying to go against it. I'm I'm trying to paddle myself upriver. And throughout life, that's usually what I do. You know, I I thought I had a good childhood, and I didn't have a bad childhood, but it's one of those things where I'll mention something briefly, and Dana will look at me kind of like, seriously? I'm like, what's wrong with that? You know, and and you know, things have been tough, and I've always tried to kind of handle them myself. Um I just gotta relax and treat it like a like a lazy river. I'll get on that tube and let it take me to wherever it's gonna take me. It's because the stress is just and the anxiety is just debilitating. It's overwhelming. And it doesn't have to be. All I have to do is say, Lord, please, just take this from me. You know? And then trust what I say. That's the problem. I say it when I'm at home. Or I say it, especially on Sundays when I'm here, you see, I cry like a bee. You know, I feel the Lord and I speak to the Lord. Sure. And then Monday, Tuesday, I'm like, alright, how do I fix this? That's the problem. You know, I go back to old Alex all the time. Here when we feel the Lord, when you know the music's played, it's easy. But on a Tuesday afternoon, after I just got a depressing email from work or whatever it may be, that's when I need to talk to the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

That's right, brother.

SPEAKER_01

And uh I'm not doing that. I told Brother Tim recently I've had a couple dreams, and there's still some more conversations that need to go along with those, but as you guys are sharing your testimonies, kind of got me thinking, and I don't think I got an answer to them. But what I do think they're showing me is there's major change happening in Harlem. Um and whether it's the house that we're working on right now or it's a different house, I that's that's the part that I need to accept as part of God's will, and whatever He wishes to be done will be done. But I have to get rid of the old house. I just have to do it. We all have old, we have old Jesse, we have old Matt. There's an old Dana. And they all come out. But we have to we have to shut that door on them. And this is me telling myself, you know, I'm in no position to tell anyone what to do. But my anxieties are alleviated when I talk things. It's fascinating. When we're at home, I'm like, are you sure this is gonna be alright? I bring it up five times. She's probably sick of it by now, but it helps me process what, you know, and and and I just I find myself praying, asking for an answer, and I think the answers are there in front of me, but old Alex is putting on sunglasses so I can't put it on line. And and just hearing like what you guys say, it's it's just I need to be in a different mindset. And I need help at that time, because I think we all need help at that. But we have faith builders, we have all of that kind of stuff all the time. So your faith builder may not be data standing up as we that's okay. But it may be something completely different to you. It may be just like the one day at service, and just because it involves me as why I remember it, when I fixed the microphone for you, you know, it's little things, and then just keep an eye out for that because I I'm rambling now. But it's good, right? I just it's tough to feel like you're doing it all on by yourself. It's just the weight, it's not good for anyone. You know, like with the house, a lot of the stuff I find having to do myself. And this again isn't a shot at Dana. Dana doesn't need to be involved with certain things. Um I was talking to Brother Tim. He said, keep it that way. Because if we bring the stress into the home, that stress has been brought up on Ada. So there's there's battles. We have to fight, but you always have the war next to you in that battle. And I'm trying to charge into the battle myself. That's my battle. So I bring up the bad to not warn you guys, but to just acknowledge that if you guys are sharing similar situations, to please, you know, do my suggestions that I'm also going to take into and just try. From the Lord and give it just because there's no point in ruining your physical body, your mental state. That's right, brother. When you have the medicine you need with the Lord. That's good, brother.

SPEAKER_04

Amen, brother. Very good.

SPEAKER_16

Let me see that mic just for a second, brother Jay. I wanted to thank Sister all the testimonies. I wanted to thank all the testimonies today. What a precious song, Trish, that you just sang. What a very precious song. We are going to learn that song. And I've heard that song. That's a body of Christ song. And I just wanted to thank God and I wanted to thank Brother Connell for allowing the service to go in the direction it went today. I feel people exercising. I feel uh possibly some gifts that God's going to raise up in the future. But uh again, I just uh did you feel the anointing behind Trish's voice? Yeah. Sister Trish, sister-in-law, please sing like that when we get back into church. She's got a gorgeous voice. That anointing that fell on you today. Brother, we didn't need an instrument nowhere. No. It's like the angels from heaven was back in her singing with her. I just really appreciated you being led by the Lord. I appreciated all the testimonies today. I appreciated Brother Tim getting up and uh telling us and talking to us and teaching a few things and taking us into the Word of Prayer. I appreciate what God's doing. I appreciate that we're a part of the true vine. Like I was telling some of the church members today. We have found the true vine. It says in the Bible that there's two vines going to be running in the earth in the end days: a false vine and a true vine. Well, they're both mysteries. Think about that, church. The mystery, Babylon the grave. It's a mystery. Most of the people that's in Babylon don't know they're in a Babylonian system. It's a mystery to them. And what we're doing's a mystery. The only way you'll come to this way, and the only way you're going to find the truth that's not been contaminated by man. That's the difference in what we're doing. The false finds been contaminated by man. It's got man's spin-offs on it. It's got man's philosophies and traditions. It comes out of the earth. It's not spiritual, it's earthly, essential, devilish. And they're only going off their own ambitions and they're going off their natural desires. And in the natural, a man can do a lot. Ishmael was a very, very powerful man. Ishmael. They said lineages and kings and nations would come out of him. Oh yeah. But he wasn't yoked up to Jesus. He wasn't part of the true vine. And so here we are today, and we have found the true vine. We don't have to be a part of Mystery Babylon the Great. The horror. The horror that sits upon many waters. And that tells me that they have a portion of water, Brother Jay, right? But they don't have the river of life. They do not have the river of life flowing out of what they're doing. And what somebody said today was very good. It's only going to take them so far. And eventually they're going to round. Eventually they're going to come to a wall, so to speak. And I appreciate what God's done in here, that we have found this true vine, that man's not contaminated this. I appreciate the older brother, and I mention them all the time, and I'm going to continue to mention them. That I remember when I was a young boy, Brother Connell took me up to Brother James Sauders one day, the first time I ever met him. And he said, Brother James Saughters, this is my son Jesse. I remember shaking Brother James Sauders' hand. The first time I ever met him. I remember being in his home and having dinner with him. I remember my father leaving that night with a pair of Brother James Sauders shoes. We just didn't stumble across this. God led us this way. And I appreciate the Lord. I appreciate all his saints and all you people that's that's willing, and I appreciate Sister Becky. I appreciate that you didn't let the sun go down on that. Amen. You could have gone home and slept on that. And we offend each other. We offend ourselves at times. We we hurt one another. And and shame on me for just going to bed like that. Shame on me in the past for just going to bed when I've hurt or harmed my wife.

SPEAKER_08

Sure.

SPEAKER_16

The one that stands the closest with me, the one me like Brother Tim said, who knows me better than my wife. And me and Sister Mandy in the past would go to bed on things and hurt one another with our tongue. I've never been the type to physically abuse, but our tongue is. I would rather somebody beat on me physically than lash at me with their tongue. Our tongue is a venomous viper, it can be. And I've had people lash out at me before, and it hurts. And your body and your mind never forgets that. Sure. It holds on to the words it's done to us. But I've also been beat down. I've had gangs jump on me. I grew up towards Brown Street. And I remember being a young boy one time, and we walked up to 7-Eleven on Brown, and a gang of fellas jumped on me and my cousins and beat us down. Picked me up and slammed me and blackened my eye and hurt me. And all I could do is get on the old bicycle and take off and run. I didn't have a bicycle with me, but the a man in the ring that's getting beat on, brother Connell knows, they tell him to get on his bicycle. That's terminology, to get start running around the ring. Don't let him beat on you. Wearing down. And I had to get on my bicycle and run. That's one thing they couldn't keep up with was old Connell's legs. I was quick when I was younger, so I beat feet and ran home. But I remember I got over that beating. My body healed and I didn't think too much of it. It warned me not to go up to 7-Eleven by myself anymore. Or even with my cousins because we were outnumbered. But you know what, though, in this, we're not outnumbered. We are not outnumbered. God is going to give us exactly what we need. And I thank God for what I see him doing in this assembly, in this church, in this body. I see maturity coming. Amen. I see growth coming. And that's what's going to bring a greater church. The maturity of Sister Becky repenting of somebody or acknowledging her differences and acknowledging when old Adam got on the throne and you got prayer and God slew him. God handled his business today for you. I appreciate the truth I hear coming out of here. Amen. So I just wanted to stand on my feet and testify also today and tell the Lord and tell his sheep and tell all of us that I appreciate what God's doing. I appreciate being a part of this, Brother Tim. Amen. And I just want to hold on to the true vine. I want to hold on to what God's given us and how we stumbled across this. And I don't want to be partakers of her sins, the Bible says. Be not partakers of her sins. Come out of her. Come out of her. I still have some of her in me. Come out of her, my people. You know, it's easy to say, well, we're in this, we're not part of that. But sometimes we can have things in us that we don't even know is there. And uh it says that that system out there, that false vine, is gonna be the cage of every foul and hateful spirit. Well, Brother Jay made something today, a comment, and that is when you take their gold from them and you start taking the little bit of Jesus they do have, they are gonna get really riled up. They are gonna be hateful and mean. But before even that happens, before even that happens, they are the cage of foul. I'm telling you, they're not, those preachers out there is not teaching the sheep. They're not teaching their congregation to get rid of that foul spirit. They're not teaching their congregation to repent to one another. They don't even know one another, let alone repent of one another. He's not teaching them to not uh draw their sword and mob each other's heads off. So they already are a part of the cage that's gonna house every foul and hateful bird spirit. And I don't want to be a part of that. I believe God's teaching us to love one another. And the messages Brother Connell's been giving us, and me and Tim and others backing the message, you can see God's starting to do something. I appreciate Brother Alex and all the families that God's brought this way. And I just want to keep serving God and I want to keep being obedient. I don't want to, I don't want to be partakers of her sins. I don't want to be part of that cage that's gonna house uh bad spirited people and never get on them, never tell them that that spirit's gotta go. You know, you go down with a raw or a bad spirit or any attribute of the flesh, do you know you're coming forth with that? And I said last Sunday that if you have a chance to get away from that and get repentance and learn how to not to partake of that and you continue to eat on it and hang on to it, it's gonna give us a bad upbringing. It's we're gonna have a bad resurrection, possibly. Not even, might even not even have a resurrection if you have a chance to get something eradicated out of your life, but you refuse to let it go. So I want to do what God's called us to do, and I appreciate Sister Dana. I appreciate her standing to her feet today. God knew what he was doing when he yoked you two up. You need her, and she needs you, brother. Your spirit, I'm the same way, full of sometimes a little bit of anxiety, get ahead of yourself, and then you've got your wife that's the complete opposite. She's sitting there going, calm down. Chill out. That's how Mandy is with me sometimes. God knows what he's doing. He was out ahead of us. And so I appreciate her standing to her feet today and giving us her testimony. And if it builds my faith, brother. You think you need faith builders? I've been doing this a long time. And I need more, all the faith builders I can get. We're in this together, Brother Alex. We're in this together, church. We need one another. It don't happen overnight. It is not going to happen overnight. It's a long race. This race ain't the Daytona 500, it's the lifetime eternal race. You could call it it's it's from here on out, and so we have to keep enduring. What do we endure? Whatever the Lord asks us to endure. That's what we must endure. And your dream, Sister Dana, was powerful about the flood coming in. I had a dream along the same lines years ago where a flood, I was in a Walmart, and everybody was doing their own thing. In this Walmart, this is before even God got a hold of us. But I remember in this Walmart, everybody was cashing credit cards, swiping credit cards, uh, talking on cell phones, just doing everything that the natural man can do. There was total, if you look at it through a certain point of view, it was almost like chaotic. There was just so many credit cards being swiped at the same time in the noise that they make. And then cell phone dreaming, people answering, and leaving voicemails and texting. All that was going on in this dream, Jay. And I looked around and I thought, my gosh, this is crazy. All these people's just caught up in the time. They're caught up in their self, they're caught up in the moment. And all of a sudden, when I looked out the window, I seen a tidal wave coming. I seen a in this Walmart that I was in, and Walmart's just a picture of humanity. Everybody you know shops at Walmart. Most people shop at Walmart. But in the in the back, I looked, and it was a window as big as that wall, and a tidal wave was coming, and it kept ripping and ripping and tearing and tearing and getting taller and taller and bigger. To where all of a sudden it was going to engulf that Walmart, and I looked around and I thought, does nobody else see this but me? We are gonna drown in this building. And so I looked to my left, and when I looked over, there was a set of doors about like that. And up to the, well, I walked over to the doors, and when I pushed on them, they was locked. It was locked, locked. Like if you lock those two doors, you're probably not gonna be able to beat those two doors open. They were stable just like that. And I thought, oh my gosh, and I remember glancing back out the window, and the wave was filling up with muck and mire and getting dirtier and dirtier as they approached the building, and I didn't want to die, I didn't want to drown in that. And so I looked to my right. They was hanging there the whole time, but I just didn't see them. All of a sudden I looked to my right and there was a set of keys. And I thought to myself, surely these don't fit this door. There's just no way that I'm the only one that sees these keys and they fit this lock. And I grabbed them, Sister Dana, and they slipped right into the lock and the door opened and I ran out. And that's God showing us that we got a chance to highball this. That's right. We got a chance to get to move out of life's soul or have eternal life someday. So I appreciate the Lord. Appreciate all the testimonies we've heard today. I ask God to keep touching the church, helping us to do what we need to do to make it. Thank you.

SPEAKER_11

Praise the Lord. Praise God.

SPEAKER_15

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_13

There's something you're gonna say. I don't know what I'm gonna say. That's good.

SPEAKER_05

That's good. No, tell me, so I'm gonna get out of there something. There you go, brother. Uh well no, I got many things to be grateful for today. Uh many of you know my testimony. A lot of you don't. Um just no more heart's not racing, which is a good thing. That probably gives out a little bit of confidence in what I'm about to say. Uh but you know, me and Jess have been talking about getting up and testifying and uh being more vocal to the congregation, and uh I think it's the perfect time. Uh I'm not going to tell my testimony, but uh God's brought me from a rough past and a very, very, very dark path that I was going down in my life. Um I was there for a long time, about 20 years exactly. And uh I think right now I just want to lift up his name. I just want to lift up his name and give thanks to Jesus, thanks to his Father. Amen, brother. Praise you God, Lord, praise the Lord. You know, me and Jay were just speaking on getting up front and being more humble and being more uh telling me how to more willing to uh to give praise to to the Lord and uh for the things that he has done in my life. Um I think uh the best way to do that is just to stand up and and testify and uh get past those those barriers to hear in my life. Uh uh I tend to overthink things, I tend to uh I just tend to overthink things. And I want to say the right things, and I just uh I just think the Lord today uh forgive me, Duncan and the brother behind me. Yeah, struggle.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, thank you.

SPEAKER_05

Praise God, brother. I appreciate the talk we had earlier. Yeah, and uh appreciate a pastor that has uh spent a lot of time with me. A lot of time. Um full of knowledge, full of knowledge, uh full of understanding of the scriptures. Um it's glad to be here. Very grateful. Glad to have a family that sits beside me, my mom and dad, today. Um just continue to pray for them, continue to pray for me. Praise God, it's tough out there. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. It's very uh it's an honor and a privilege to serve to do this. Praise God.

SPEAKER_03

Praise the Lord, brother.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you, Lord, hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus. Praise God, pray your name, Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you, Lord Genuinity and sincerity is everything. Praise God. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_14

Everybody stand up for a moment, praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_15

Stretch your legs for a minute here and sit for a while. Now everybody sit down. Praise God.

SPEAKER_14

I won't be here but a moment. I wanted to thank the church for building such a good uh testimony service. Yeah, you know, um there's churches all over the place that don't let the people stand up and say anything. They're afraid that they'll say something wrong.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_14

But here in the real true body of Jesus Christ, we're all members of that body and we all have a testimony, and we all have something that will encourage one another. And something that possibly you're going through that a brother, sister, and the Lord's go gone through before can help you to get through what you're going through. But um, I was talking with Sister Becky in the beginning of the service, and she was telling me how she feels in her body, and I was telling her I feel the same way. When you're getting older, we're gonna need more and more of God as you grow older because you can't rely upon your physical conditions anymore to do the things that you used to be able to do. But as you grow older in the Lord, we should be getting more easier to lean upon that yoke of Christ than our own yoke. And so when we get older in physical health, uh hope to God we're getting older in spiritual uh ways. So that uh so that as the body does begin to deteriorate and go down, that the inward man is strong enough to do just what's needed to do because one day every one of us is going to lose this body. This body's gonna go back to the dust that we was made out of. And the reason that we were made out of dust is because God wanted a superior being that would love him and honor him with a different nature than angels. Angels don't, they're not made out of the earth, they're made out of the same substance that God's made out of. They don't know what temptation, trials, or tests are. That's why the Bible says that the angels desire to look into such a thing called salvation. There's no need for no salvation for the angels. They stand in his presence. And God's got a rank and file in heaven. A lot of people don't know this, but before God decided to send his son Jesus to this earth, he had a determinate counsel that he sat down with. He counseled with the angels of God on how they would go about redeeming mankind, and that's in the Bible. That he that he had a determinate counsel. So God's got intelligent angels all around the throne up there. There's ministering spirits, there's worshiping angels, there's all types of rank and foul in heaven, just like there's rank and foul in the kingdom of God. But when you look at the greatness that God has done for us, that's been on my heart more and more and more. And I don't want to do it in injustice, so I need to study more about it. But one thing I will tell you that if God offers his son to you, my God, don't reject him. And also, if we get in trouble and we get off and left filled, or some silly little thought, or something takes place and it begins to germinate in our life, and Christ comes to redeem you from that, don't let it go. Go ahead and let God fix it for you. If we just stay in a repentant spirit all the time and stay repenting to one another, and certainly to God, we'll have such a riches in our spirit that there's no describing it. Because this is all built on forgiveness. Every bit of this is built on forgiveness. God sent his only begotten son just two thousand years ago to test the waters and see what all of our complaints was, and the law couldn't get that done. They all died without the promise. They all died in hope of a better resurrection. We have recognized. That resurrection. If you've received the Holy Ghost in your life, you have received the first resurrection.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_14

If you were dead and you're brought alive in Christ, wasn't you resurrected? And you didn't go nowhere. You were resurrected right out of the sin and the immorality and the ungodliness that was in your life. You were resurrected from that darkness and death into Christ. You've received that first resurrection. Somebody said, Well, what about me? I don't have the Holy Ghost yet. Well, you're a child of God by faith. Don't give up your faith. You'll soon be a child of God by birth.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_14

Because it's a promise. And God don't break no promises. And it's so much easier than what we really think. It's just a matter of believing, trusting, obeying, and having the faith that God can give us that wonderful gift of His Spirit entering into our lives.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_14

Where would I be today without God in my life, in prison somewhere, or dead because of the hootalim I was? But I thank God today. And the older I get, the more I know what a precious Jesus we have. What a precious Savior we got. What a wonderful God the Father that sent his only begotten Son 2,000 years ago. All of heaven was searched. That's right. All underneath the earth, everybody that ever came and died, there was no one worthy. And all of a sudden John said, Lo and behold, don't cry, John. Look over there, the Lamb of God's getting ready to come and take the book out of the right hand of his Father. He brought that book to us 2,000 years ago and brought the Word of God to us. And if we'll live by that Word of God, we'll have an abundance of life. That's right. Amen. But anytime we begin to just get off the beaten path, you'll have trouble. You'll have trouble in your spirit. You'll wake up certain ways. I needed to repent today. In fact, I needed to repent the other day. I'm still in the repenting business. I haven't made it altogether yet. But I hope that when God knocks on my door, when life passes from this natural body, I hope to be able to say I've done something for God pleasing enough to him that he'll allow me to either come forth or move out of this body alive soul. I'd like to move out of this body alive soul. And the more older I get, the more I crave that. This body's breaking down my mind and my physical body, and the more you get older in your natural body, you decide to think on heaven more. When you're young, you don't think on heaven. You just get up and do your own thing every day, day in, day out, and uh and you hardly ever meditate on God. But the older you get, the more you realize that you need God for everything. That's true. You need God for everything. If it wasn't for God, we wouldn't wake up tomorrow morning. He keeps his planet spinning on its axis. He keeps us uh breathing this fresh air. He keeps us uh uh growing our crops and the sun uh every morning coming up to grow them crops. He lets the rain fall on the crops that we grow, and he lets it fall on the just and the unjust. God's such a good God, and what a plan of salvation he set up before the foundations of the world. The Lamb of God was slain. Before the foundations of the world was ever even laid, God had already determined by his determinate counsel that he was going to send his son to redeem fallen man. Brother, if we reject that, we're blaspheming the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_14

We're blaspheming the wonderful Holy Ghost to reject Christ. And if you've had the Lord knock at your door, my God, what a privilege.

SPEAKER_04

Amen.

SPEAKER_14

You know, out of the millions and millions of people, look at just the small flock that's right here. And we're just a little flock of many of other God's children all throughout this world. But at the same time, do you know how many people come and die? How many people come and die? That's right. Come and die, come and die, come and die. Billions of people over the last 6,000 years has come and died. And who are we?

SPEAKER_04

That's right.

SPEAKER_13

Who am I that God would be mindful of me? Yes.

SPEAKER_16

That's it.

SPEAKER_13

To stop and look down at you, Alex, to stop and look down at our sister Dana, every one of us here, that he would stop and take the time to want to introduce you to the greatest gift that he ever had. Amen.

SPEAKER_11

That's wonderful.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_14

Praise God. And then in the time and day that we're living in right now, I just plead with you. As a shepherd, don't get caught up in the garbage of this religious world. Don't be hoodwinked by these false prophets and people making themselves into icons and gods. My God, I don't want no pictures taken with no icon in this world. And I'm not rebuking anybody. I'm just saying, make the right people your icons.

unknown

That's right. Amen. Yes, Lord. Help us, Jesus.

SPEAKER_14

Make the people that love God, people that love the Lord, people that's got God in their life, put them where they need to be. Not this ungodly, fake religious system that's out there in the world right now. It's a phony.

unknown

Yes, right.

SPEAKER_17

Sure is.

SPEAKER_14

Millions of people. They travel all over. And honest to God, what they're hearing is a thimble full of nothing more than just the flesh, flesh, flesh.

unknown

It's true. It's true.

SPEAKER_14

My Bible tells me that any of us that while we're living in sin, we're dead while we're living. That's right. That's what it says. That's in 1 Timothy. It says a woman that says she's a widow, but she's not a widow indeed, because she's living in pleasure, what kind of pleasure? Sexual pleasure. That she's dead while she liveth. We live in sin, and we're dead while we're living in sin. Don't let nobody kid you. If you've if if you or I have done anything that we know that God's displeased with, and we don't go to him and the Lord and go to him and ask for forgiveness with the right attitude, we're dead. We're cut off. You could be cut off right here today. Any one of us could be cut off. And I'm not preaching this out of meanness. I'm just telling you it's God's truth that every day I've been like a harp, like a broken hobby horse on the altars, the brazen altar and the uh golden altar. If you and I don't have a daily prayer life with God, and we don't ask God on a daily basis to forgive us for our trespasses, then neither will he forgive us our trespasses.

SPEAKER_08

That's right.

SPEAKER_14

That's so important that we have a clear path with God. God's such a holy God, I don't know, he might be upset with me today. I ate two and a half pounds of pork uh belly. It ain't funny. Alex got me hooked on him. Alex brought pork belly, cooked pork belly to the uh to the July 4th. So Sister Connell just bought me a little bit the other day, and uh I ate them all, and so I said, I want more. So she brought two pounds, three pounds. Oh God, I didn't eat all them, did I?

unknown

Well, you did eat two pounds by yourself.

SPEAKER_14

I ate two pounds of pork belly last night by myself.

SPEAKER_04

Too little, though.

SPEAKER_14

Yeah, thanks. But I woke up feeling like I ate pork belly. I come in here with a dizzy head today. My legs dragging behind me, and I'm thinking, what's wrong with you? And it was like the Lord said, you ate two and a half pounds of pork belly. You know, I want to associate that that we're whatever you eat during the day, whatever you eat during the nighttime, whatever you allow your eyes to feast upon, whatever you allow your spirit to feast upon, it's gonna affect you spiritually and physically.

unknown

That's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_14

You can't think on all kinds of negativity and one sister, I'm gonna close, but one sister came to me one time, a black sister we had. I hope that God brings some black people among us. I really do. They're spiritual, man. They've been beat down for so long, and it's been passed on from one generation to another, that they're humble. And if you ever get around some black people that's spirit-filled, man, they can make you spirit-filled right with them in just a New York minute. They'll get you fired up. But uh, where was I at? So I could get down from here.

unknown

Sister King.

SPEAKER_04

Sister King.

SPEAKER_14

Oh, sister, uh, what was her name? Sister Tucker. She came to uh me one time and she said, Um, Brother Connell, and I said, Yeah, she said, I'm just going through trials and tests left and right, all kinds of things going on. I need prayer. She said, I've been praying and praying. And I said, What have you been praying? And she said, I've been praying for patience. And I said, Quit praying for patience for a while. She said, How come? I said, Don't you know that tribulations brings patience? Patience does it a certain work in our life that nothing else can do for us. And uh, I'm a very impatient person. I really am. I I need a lot of prayer in that area. God needs to help me in that area that I'm I'm I'm not very patient, you know. If I want something, I don't want it next week. I want it today. I don't even want to go order it on Amazon. I want to go to the store if it's on the shelf. I want it right now.

unknown

Yep, yesterday.

SPEAKER_14

And that's the way the human family is. But God is not that way. He's just the opposite of that. God sometimes will let us go through things over and over and over and over and over until we finally get out of that grade. That's right. Until we finally pass that test right there. No one ever fails with God to just keep going back to the same grade over. But isn't that goodness of God to let us do that? Because there's giants in our lives that some giants run off when we get up in the morning and say a prayer. They're gone. There's other giants that stay with us all day long. They're just waiting for the opportunity to drop something negative in your heart.

unknown

That's right. That's good.

SPEAKER_14

They're just waiting for you to not have a spiritual mind just long enough that they can drop a carnal mind in on you. There you go.

unknown

That's it.

SPEAKER_14

And so our warfare is not a warfare that we beat at the air. We know where our enemy is in this church. We know what we're up against. We're not out here just beating at the air like some people and blaming everything on something else. Oh, I'm this way because of that. I'm this way because of her. I'm that way because of this. I'm you know what's wrong with people? There's not enough godly contentment in their hearts.

unknown

Yes. It's true.

SPEAKER_14

It takes godly contentment to go through this life. If not, you're always like this. Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme. And the more you get, the more it burdens you down.

unknown

It's true.

SPEAKER_14

The Bible says if you got a home and a shelter over your house, you got shelter over you, you got food, you got remnant, and you got clothing, my God, get real thankful for that. Amen. Become real thankful for that. Because the moment that you ain't thankful for what God's given you, you'll begin to feast on something that you don't have. You'll begin to pull at it, want for it, and desire this and desire that. I want a boat. Two years later, I want a bigger boat. I want a car. I don't want that car anymore. I want a Bentley. I don't like this house, I want a bigger house. I want this, I want that. When you're always wanting, how come you're wanting because there's something lacking that's causing you to keep wanting?

unknown

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_14

Everybody needs a home. Everybody needs uh their clothing and everything that God blesses us with, but be content with it and don't let the devil trick you into something that's just a barefaced lie. That the more you get, the more you're gonna be content. Honest to God, don't believe that. The more you get, sometimes the less content you are.

unknown

That's true.

SPEAKER_14

And so God wants us to just be satisfied, content, and there's more power on its way. God is getting ready to bring more power into the church because it's time for that. And all of our brothers and sisters out there that's in Babylon, pray for them. Because they're never gonna go to eternal life out of that out there. They don't have it. They don't have the words of God that's gonna bring eternal life. But, anyways, we've had a good service, haven't we? And I'm uh thankful for every testimony. Touch my heart, Sister Dana, with the dreams that God gave you. Of course, Trisha and the gift. We need to recognize what God does in our midst. We've got a sister here that's got a gift in her life of singing. And every time she stands to her feet, and I'm not puffing her up, but you can feel that anointing. And it's much better than what we're hearing out of them speakers. You know why? Because it's God anointed. That's right, and it's God's words that He's given through different people writing these uh godly songs. Yes. Appreciated Jason getting up today. I just uh I knew God wanted you to get up, Jason, probably just to break the ice. Probably more testimonies to come. Oh, sure. And uh didn't you enjoy these testimonies today? Haven't we had a good service today? Let's rise. Let's just rise and thank the Lord and tell him how much we appreciate him, how much we love him, how good he is to us, how great it's going to be in the future, having God on our side. Shake somebody's hand, tell somebody you love him, and good night, Gospel Truth Assembly.

SPEAKER_03

Praise the Lord.
