S&S discuss the confusing topic of “TIME”
I'm making carrot juice.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I just I was just about to start putting it in the little in the little jammer there, jamming it down, but I I'm gonna uh I'm gonna wait. How how are you doing? Are you making coffee? What are you doing?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm I made well I I I drink something like coffee.
SPEAKER_01What does that mean?
SPEAKER_00Well it's a super functional coffee alternative that has cacao, masala chai, a word I don't I can't under I couldn't even say lion's mane, rishi, chaga, turmeric, Himalayan salt. And why didn't you make me that when I was there? That sounds so California. Two grams of mushrooms. I'm drinking mushrooms. It's got a little caffeine.
SPEAKER_01Why didn't I get that? Why is that not for the uh guests? It's only for you. I was at my office. Uh you're at the office? Yeah. I'm at the in the cave. I get it. So well, hey man, I want to talk about time. Good. What about it? Well, I think that we should have like a universal time. Like I think eight o'clock should be the same all around the world. Hmm. And we should all be on eight, it should be eight o'clock everywhere. Like this time zone situation where on one side of this, you know, river it's one time or one side of the street, you know, or one side of a room. Like, I don't know. And then like some people change their clocks back, and some people, some states don't change their clocks in America. I don't know what they do in other countries, but I know they have different times, and I just don't understand why we can't all be on the same time. Like, don't you think? Wouldn't that make sense?
SPEAKER_00Well, how would you do that?
SPEAKER_01Well, I would change my hours at work instead of opening at 11 and closing at 10, I would open at whatever time that 11 would be and close at whatever time 10 would be.
SPEAKER_00Do you mean do you mean in the United States or in the world? I think the whole world should be on the same time. And then so when does the time switch over?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I haven't figured that part out yet, but um um because you know, are you a flat earther maybe?
SPEAKER_00Maybe that's maybe that's how it works. For for a flat, I can see like for a flat earther, maybe that that would that could work.
SPEAKER_01I think that there's an ant there's a there's always a solution to when you change like you just make a rule about when the time changes after 20 24 hours from when it started, right? Well, you know, yes, but we're gonna change clock. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00If it's 8 a.m. here, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's 8 p.m. somewhere else.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but the whole a.m. and p.m thing doesn't really matter, right? Because it can be it could be it could be midnight right now, as I'm as I'm having my breakfast, and that doesn't matter. That's you just get used to eating breakfast at midnight, like or whatever. You it's not midnight. Maybe we change the name of that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe we yeah. So it's not past meridian, or you don't even care about meridians. Maybe you just come up with a time thing that's like one through ten. What time is it? It's two.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I I'm all for simplifying, especially this idea of time, time zones and stuff. I just think we can do better now in this day and age. I think we could come up with something better. And I just thought I'd tell you because you might have more ability to fix that than me. Yeah. Yeah. I probably do. Yeah. What what do you have inspirational for me today? That's my inspirational thought.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's not inspirational, that's more of a just a like cosmic logistical.
SPEAKER_01Logistical?
SPEAKER_00That's a cosmic question. Oh, yes. Here's here's something that I, you know, my friend he got, he was like, You guys aren't talking about anything, you don't have any chemistry. I don't know if we will ever have chemistry, but uh I think he stopped listening, by the way. Yeah, I think he's probably stopped. I don't know. I don't know. Um well he's working on a movie. He's he's he's a busy, he's a busy Oscar winner. Um and so here's what I was thinking as far as because I am absolutely suffering from mild cognitive um impairment. I even forget the name for sure. Guaranteed. And so I thought, okay, this could be maybe something that scientists follow over years. Like you you can listen to my voice and listen to the words I say and or don't say or can't talk, you know, like like what Bruce Willis was had. Okay. You know, he had frontal temporal dis something. Um frontal temporal mmm something, where he started losing words like I just did. Okay. Like this can be a study. Like l oh, you know, maybe somewhere in the future, 100 years from now, they'll say, Yes, we listened to SSAD8 over years and we followed his mental decline? Yeah. Um over time. Like, here's proof. Like, you know, so maybe maybe here's proof. Yeah, we're documenting this is like can be a document for science.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You know, and what would but then what would and then they would probably document how I like improved over time and you declined? Maybe. And I could just improve and use bigger words, zeitgeist, uh, environment. I mean, I can think of a lot of big words.
SPEAKER_00I love how you put that environment. I love how you put that environment. Nobody puts the N in, but you environment. How do you say, how do you say L-I-S-T-E-N?
SPEAKER_01Listen.
SPEAKER_00Uh well. So yeah, so this will be this this is more of a science experiment that we are we are um you know engaged in. Yeah, see, I I couldn't come up with that word either. See, it's it's all starting. It's all starting. What do you gotta do today? I just have work. I've got work today. I'm working on it.
SPEAKER_01But what does work mean? Like editing things? Yes, editing things, just moving pictures around, watching movies, and then moving one picture over here and one picture over there.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I'm editing. What are you doing?
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm making carrot juice, and then I'm gonna work in the garden. Okay, and then uh I'm gonna um make some tiles. I'm gonna go to my studio and make some tiles. Those are my those are my plans, those are my plans anyway.
SPEAKER_00Okay, all right.
SPEAKER_01Uh you've been really good about um getting eight minutes every time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, we're gonna try it again, so we're gonna wrap it up. Here we go. All right. Uh I hope that my mild cognitive decline.
