What's up? Hello, my friend. Hello, my friend. Good morning. Good morning. What are we doing, man? What what's going on? I'm I'm I'm I'm wishing that uh everybody wasn't jumping down my throat yesterday about having a pH in my name, but I I'm trying to get over it, you know. I'm sure you've had to live with it your whole life. No, people aren't usually people aren't usually mean to me. That's that's a new thing. Y'all be mean to me like that.

SPEAKER_01

We're just we're just getting to the bottom of it. But let's let's move on to that.

SPEAKER_00

Let's move on.

SPEAKER_01

You're still okay with me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You're still okay with me.

SPEAKER_00

I'm s I still want to talk every day for the rest of my life.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. I wonder what how this how I'm being what my grade is with my mental decline. Um the scientists now have like almost 20 20 um examples. So maybe I don't think it's happening very fast. Yeah, but it's subtle. It's subtle, I'm sure. I'm sure. So yeah, well what what's what's what do you got?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm I'm I'm at a um I'm at a big Goodwill in St. Augustine, Florida right now. Uh my daughter wanted to go to Goodwill, so we went up we got up and we she came with us to the beach and we got her a coffee at Duncan, as kids like to have these days, and then we went to the Goodwill. So yeah, I'm just kind of wandering around the Goodwill looking for her to give her this coffee back before I drink it all.

SPEAKER_01

Um but I have wanted go ahead. Do you remember I just I just cut you off there because it'cause I just that's okay. That's okay. I wasn't saying important. I want to try to get to something. I want to try to get to something here. I mean not that that's nothing, but it just I'm trying to you know get past the small stuff, get to the big stuff. I'm trying to bounce off of that. Do you remember as a kid? I mean you're younger than me, but do you remember as a kid ever going to a coffee shop or anything like that? Like that's when I was a kid, nobody ever did that. No, no kid drank coffee, absolutely not. Nobody, there was no Starbucks, there was no matcha, whatever, latte. There was none of that. None.

SPEAKER_00

No, but they they they made it so sweet that the kids can't um you know, the kids gotta have it. They made them they made these drinks so sweet that you hardly even taste the coffee anymore, you just taste the sugar.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I I don't know. I mean, I'm just saying the whole culture of coffee shop, that didn't exist. That didn't exist in my mind until the nineties, maybe? Late nineties? Late nineties maybe, yeah. And so here's my question. When you were so you're from the south, was like, oh yeah, everyone was drinking sweet tea. Was there any kind of because there was there was like Coke, you could have a Coke, dude.

SPEAKER_00

You could have I drink Mountain Dew constantly. You could have a Slurpee. I had Slurpees and Mountain Dew constantly.

SPEAKER_01

But but there was no culture, there was no like let's get together. Like you weren't you never said with your buddies, like, hey, let's go down to the sweet tea store and have a sweet tea.

SPEAKER_00

We would go to the barbecue place and get sweet tea and barbecue. That's what we would do.

SPEAKER_01

But that's going to the restaurant.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we go to restaurants. No, right. No, that's a new thing.

SPEAKER_01

That's new, that's new.

SPEAKER_00

There's a lot of new things.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, my parents never got me a latte. They would get me a Slurpee. Maybe. If I was nice.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I have this really amazing idea that I want to share with you. That I but I don't know, I don't know how to get it out in the world. And even getting it out here is not going to be enough because we need to get it in front of the right person. Is that where's that sound?

SPEAKER_01

Is this a groundbreaking? Does it happen at four minutes, maybe? I don't know. Is it is it something groundbreaking? Is this the groundbreaking thing?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, this is a groundbreaking idea that I had that I haven't told you about, except I told you that I had a groundbreaking idea, but I'm I can't stand not sharing it anymore.

SPEAKER_01

Not wasting time's time on the setup.

SPEAKER_00

We only have two have well the setup's important though. It's so good. But like we got this setup.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how we're gonna find the right person. Wasting time. All this setup is wasting time and go.

SPEAKER_00

It's not wasting time, we're spending time. We're using time. It's part of what we do. When you go to let's say Apple or you go to Spotify, there's like your top 100 podcasts, right? And you can see the top charts. Okay. I don't want to listen to those. You know what I want to listen to? The bottom 100. Bottom 100. I want to listen to the bottom 100. I want to try to get on the bottom 100. I want to see what's going on the least 100 popular podcasts. That's what I want to listen to. The one nobody else is listening to, the ones that are just, and when I go, I'm like, and I say, I want to look for the bottom 100, they say, Well, tell us what you what your niche topic is. There's a lot of niche topics. We'll find out, we'll find a podcast. It's not this is not about topic. This is about raw, you know, rawness, raw dogging. This is raw dog podcasts. I just want to hear what people are making. And so, yeah, I don't I think I don't know how to get somebody to say, let's make a bottom 100 list. But if they did, then people would listen to the bottom 100 and they'd probably get out of the bottom 100, which is also good. But at the same time, I want to listen to that list, and I think other people would too. I think it would be a popular list.

SPEAKER_01

Are we are we are we in the bottom 100?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure. We're in the bottom 100. And that's not why I want to get the list, though. I want to get the list because I want to hear what other people like us are talking about. I want to hear other bottom 100s.

SPEAKER_01

What other knuckleheads are talking about?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I want to hear that list. How do we who do we do you know somebody? Um Spotify or or Apple um businesses.

SPEAKER_01

You could call Jess. Maybe Jess knows. Jess knows those kind of people.

SPEAKER_00

All we got to do is find the right people to tell this idea to, and they might go, oh, find the person who's gonna tell, and then they go, Oh, that is a good idea. And then they say it to the one other person, and the next thing you know, they're it's easy for them to do. They can spin that list up no problem.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe Jess Bowers, maybe Jess Bowers is the guy to talk to. He invented DVDs, you know that, right?

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know that he invented DVDs.

SPEAKER_01

No, yep, he invented them. Yep, for sure. Like he's listening, he's that kind of guy, so he would know. I he I think he worked on I think he worked on Sirius or something. Uh, he did he was doing something.

SPEAKER_00

Like he might you know when I want to go look for the bottom 100 podcasts, that is not information that's out there, and I find that in this day and age, I think that's a crime. Don't you think my idea is good? It's really good. Wouldn't you want to listen to who's in the bottom 100? I don't want to listen to the number one bottom podcast. I love that's the podcast I want to listen to, and then they wouldn't be number one, they wouldn't be number one for long. The number one bottom.

SPEAKER_01

Well, your other podcast is called number one podcast for people, and that would that'll never be on the bottom 100.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's probably in the middle somewhere. It's it's not in the bottom 100. And if it was, that's fine too. But um I just I I I just I feel like the the this kind of podcast where people talk about nothing is the is my favorite kind.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And they're hard to find because every time you look for podcasts, they're like, well, what do you want to look talk about? Like sit.
