What are you doing? Driving over to my uh one of my rentals to meet the uh garage door guy. It seems there's something wrong with the garage door. Isn't that exciting?
SPEAKER_00Isn't that so exciting? That is just the most exciting thing I think I've heard in the last 10 minutes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the overhead door. It's called overhead door. And I don't know. I think something's wrong with the track. I think it's gonna be you know big deal, but maybe not. We'll see. Those guys are good. What are you doing?
SPEAKER_00I'm just drinking some coffee sitting on the back.
SPEAKER_01Oh, is it is it early? Yeah, I guess it's early morning for you over there.
SPEAKER_00It's kind of still it's kind of in the eight eight o'clock a it's kind of old school for us. Remember way back in the day? Remember back in the day? Eight o'clock. I mean, that was every time ago. That's back when we were young.
SPEAKER_01You know, I I was finding that uh I'd stay up till midnight almost nights, and that was the best time before I went to bed to call you, which would be 9 p.m. your time, but you weren't answering most of the time when I called you at midnight.
SPEAKER_00Usually sitting on the couch watching something and rubbing my wife's feet. That's usually what's happening at that time. And so that wins. Sorry. Yeah, wins. Okay. I mean, I'm you know, I like feet, so I'm kind of a foot guy, so you know, that's gonna win. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. All right, so I'm well uh so you must have something inspirational today. Well or you do. Oh, I'm getting over like just I went on that trip with the boys to Texas and I wore myself out, and then I got home and I just you bought a purse. I I think I was pretty much almost sick.
SPEAKER_00I'm still trying to recover from that. You bought a purse, is what you did. That's the first thing you did. You went out, I did what? Started shopping for purses. No, we didn't do that. Yeah, it's kind of what you should do.
SPEAKER_01That's that's we're like it's kind of more tougher than that.
SPEAKER_00That's a smart, that's what a smart person. Yeah, but you know, when you get our age, it's all about it's not about toughness anymore. It's about just being smarter. You gotta be smart. Yeah, and it's just way smarter to have all your shit in one thing that you can just pick up and so you have a purse, you have a purse, and you're trying to uh justify that. And so does most every man in Europe have, which is the you know but do they call it a satchel? No, I don't know what they call it. I think they call it a purse. I don't think they care. I love it when people come to me, they're saying they're going, oh yeah, you have a merse. I'm like, nope, nope, it's a purse. No, you have a man purse. I'm like, nah, it's just a purse. It's just a purse.
SPEAKER_01I don't need to look like a purse.
SPEAKER_00I don't need to it it's I don't know what uh the purse looks like have you ever gone to a purse store? Like no in the it's there's nine billion ways to make a purse. It's just a thing that you know holds things. It's just a thing that holds things. You know, back in the day, back in like cowboy days, they had like a little bag where they had all their stuff tied to their horse. I mean, right? They didn't have pockets.
SPEAKER_01I've just got pockets, yeah. I don't have any problem with pockets, they work well for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but how do you where do you put your phone? And then you've got my altoids, and then I've got my sunglasses, and then I've got my you know, my wallet's the size of a you know, small house, and then I've got my you know, if I have any pills I have to take for um allergies. I just it's just all in one thing. I've got papers that I whatever. It's just all that you know, you know what I used to now. Here's one. This one's good, this one's gonna really rock your skirt. You know what I used to carry in my purse? Oh, you know what's funny? Before I had a purse, I'd ask my wife, like, hey, can you carry this stuff? And then when I had a purse, then I'd like to.
SPEAKER_01That's what a wife is for, isn't it? Carry all your stuff. Yeah, but you know.
SPEAKER_00Isn't that what the wife is for? You know what? So you know what is funny? Oh, and the other thing that's in my purse is I always have napkins. Always. Like I need napkins, or you know, whatever. Like, like you some people need tissues. I need napkins, usually paper towels, you know, hardy. There's something hardy about them. And I've got good ones folded in my purse, just like um who plugs.
SPEAKER_01I've got those. I've always got those too, but they're folded in my cargo pants.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. So for me, they're just you know, folded in my purse. And then you know what I used to carry, you know. Um I used to I used to now, I don't know. This might rock the whole internet. Um, what I used to carry were it's gonna sound weird. What I used to carry were tampons. Okay why? Why? For the ladies. There you go.
SPEAKER_01I was you want to be the hero of your world.
SPEAKER_00I was the one, I was like, hey man, there's gonna be one day, and there was, where one of the ladies is like, oh no, like dad to the rescue, dun dun dun. That's it, that's a really proud day for you. Oh, I was I was I was like, Cape, I had a cape flowing. That's a that's a that's that's really good dad advice for other dads somewhere. Yeah stats somewhere, even if you're not even if you're not smart enough.
SPEAKER_01The ones that are uh in California.
SPEAKER_00Even if you're not smart enough to have it in your purse, dads, have one stash somewhere. See there you go. That was the big bomb drop the big mic drop that happened.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, I like that. I think that that's uh that's some real good advice right there. It is, it is.
SPEAKER_00It it saved the day that time. I think we're at the fair or something, I can't remember, but it was it was it was gonna be game over.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay. So there you go. Uh so is uh Courtney still around? Courtney, Courtney's still around? Just finished you for a short time there.
SPEAKER_00He he left. We stayed up till 2 a.m. that night um and had way too many beverages.
SPEAKER_01We did the same thing.
SPEAKER_00I think I'm still hurting. I'm not hurting. We did it for two or three nights in a row, and I'm still hurting. Yeah. We can't do that anymore.
SPEAKER_01We're well we can, and we did, but it's not we shouldn't do that.
SPEAKER_00I guess it's time. Yeah, but and so so but nobody cried. Is that what you're saying? Nobody, you guys you didn't get into the level of we never we never cried, we don't have anything to cry about. You can cry for being so happy, you're so happy to be around your bros bonding like this. I'm I'm feel I'm feeling emotional just talking about it for you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, are you gonna cry?
SPEAKER_00Good you what if I do, I've got it. I've got a napkin in my purse right here that right next to the I wish I could see what this purse looked like of yours.
SPEAKER_01It it it looked like a purse. I don't know. I don't know what to tell you. I'm still my voice is not really back yet. I mean, we were in uh in a in a uh a concert where we had to yell. We were in a rodeo where we had to yell. I was just yelling. I think I was just yelling just uh just after drinking. I think I just talking too loud. I don't know what happened, but I bet basically lost my voice. But it's coming back a little bit. Too many years. I had a massage last night that I was supposed to go to.
