Well, medium-sized nugs, pale greens with a mustard dusting. This sample here is a bit dry. It seems a bit of it out of its freshness date, but upon checking the date, we find out that it is within the freshness date. So the dryness, we don't know. It's not supple at all.

Even before lighting, I could taste the cheese turps. And I just took a pull right before lighting from the joint. Uh, it's continuing after it's lit. Also taste the pungent. What I'm having trouble tasting is the pear. I don't taste the pear. Do you taste pear?

But the karyophylline is is prevalent, especially in the throat, it's spicy. Yeah, definitely a throat ticklers, folks.

Each cough is actually bringing up my high. And I'm already starting to feel the high. I'm about a right before a third in. I'm already starting to feel something. Yeah. It's kind of like in the spider senses in this stage. Nothing yet, but the spider senses are tingling. Definitely getting like a sativa kind of thing from it. Where it's like a heady, yeah, kind of lifted kind of feeling. It's getting tingly in my head. Not feeling anything body. Interesting, interesting feeling. It's like tingly. How about you, Skip? What are you feeling?

Oh yeah. Yeah, it's uh sativa type high coming on. And it's like an incremental high. It it increases like with the cough. But it's it it'll fool you because the cough, the smoke actually is not really what's causing the cough. It's uh the back end is like pepperine, the caryophylline is on the back end of it.

Yeah, definitely like a heady kind of feeling, like a tingly in the front, a tingling in the frontal lobe.

Um, as far as flavor profile, it kind of moved away a little bit the cheese and the pungent. Yeah, it's like really light at this point, um, but it's still kind of there, still no pear. Right. Uh, as far as feelings, um euphoric or happy? Anything like that, Yetskit?

I mean, that could be construed as a sativa high, you know. Yeah, you're just high, right? You know, the head open high.

Energetic? Not really. Not really. All right, I'm past the third, and it's kind of just the feet the same feeling, but just getting more expansive and extensive. Um really, yeah. Nothing else to add, just getting higher. Smacked yet? No. How about you, Skip?

It's uh interesting high, actually.

You know, I I know for a fact. I mean, it's true, once uh it's lit, like the turp profile dissipates, but the high is there. And if this were fresher or uh had any uh kind of moisture, a little bit more suppleness, this would be deadly. This would be deadly because you can feel the high, you can feel the kind of high it is, and it's one of those overwhelming heady highs, you know. But it's a bit muted, I guess, because of the fact that it's it's devoid of moisture, you know.

So you think we might have to revisit this one again in the future?

Oh, yeah, and like I I mentioned before, this is I've tried this my second time trying this. And the first time I tried it, it the condition was a lot drier. It was I was smoking dust. It looked pretty, but the minute I touched it, dust. Well, that wasn't the case this time. No, this time it was more firm. Uh, it was together. I don't want to say it was because of moisture because that it didn't have. But once you crushed it, it was very easy to crush, but it had texture in it, and it's uh the similar high as the first time, and an impressive high, you know. Dank has um has a lot of similar attributes as their high, as we're always talking about, and this one I think for uh passes that the higher here is is a lot more prevalent.

I also want to say, you might want to ask, why would we smoke it then? And why would we uh test it if it was dry? Well, because we're acting like the consumer, and you know, sometimes that's gonna happen, right? You're gonna go into the dispensary, you're gonna get something, and it's gonna come out and be dry. Sometimes it's gonna be powder, which is the lowest level.

And you know, we have to navigate that too. We don't go in there saying, you know, we're pro and skip from Gigland's Highland and we're, you know, uh we're reviewing things because they're gonna give us the best stuff they have. Right. We're we wanna see what you get, you know, because that's what we get when we walk in the store. Right. So we gotta test it when it's dry. We gotta test it when it's powder, we gotta test it when it's super supple, we gotta test it at any condition we get it.

And it is common knowledge, I'm sure. I mean, it's all over the internet, and it's tried and true ways to quote unquote revive your weed if it's at a very dry state. And I know I'm already preaching to the choir. Those that know, no. And it's simple methods and procedures. In fact, we will cover.

We will cover how to do that, at least one method of doing that. And in my experience, it works perhaps maybe 80% of the time, but it recovers it to a point. So, you know, you're putting in suppleness, highs, that's you know, is either there or it's not there. But at times it works. This one here didn't need to be revived.

Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't powder, it wasn't that dry. It was, you know, uh drier than you would want when you buy a product off the shelf, but it wasn't to that level. And I gotta agree with Skip. I I actually enjoy the high. I think it's a very good high. Oh, yeah. Um, it's definitely sativa high. It's like a more heady high, but it's not overwhelming sativa, and I think that's the 35% indiga part. Yeah, it's like kind of balance out the sativa sharp edges that are unsettling for some people, you know? Yeah, so it's a very nice high, it's good tasting, a little bit of a choker. Um, I do I feel energetic? Not more than I was before, but I I mean, I guess I was energetic before I started and it didn't diminish that. Uh, do I feel euphoric? Not really. Uh happy? Well, I mean that that would probably go with euphoric, I would say, no?

So, but I am high. It's a pleasant high, it's a good high. And yeah, I'm about halfway in. And I gotta keep relighting this. This one turns off when I talk, I guess.

Some people don't like sativa eyes. I get it. You know, head is all over the place, nobody. It's right, but this smooth outs, deep, you know, it gets deep.

Yeah, but it this one, like with the 35% Indica kind of smooths out those sharp edges of sativa in a nice way because it it it like adds a bit of the NDC characteristics of it, you know. As far as what you can do with the high right now, I say it's a little bit of a lazy high, but I wouldn't be too uh surprised if you would do something else with it. It seems like one of those up for whatever.

But if you're nobody tells you anything, you will sit there and be lazy. Highs. Oh, I got a real big blast of the caryophylling right there, pepper. It was a total pepper blast right there. Not really much of a talker, I will say. Very quiet in the studios, insidewood studios today.

You know, certain sativas have that characteristics, you know, it like turns your thoughts inward. Yeah.

This is a good high. I'm definitely high. This is a good high. Wow. But not particularly a social high. More of a thinker high. Yeah.

Well, I just finished the J, and I gotta say, it was a really great smoke. Um, definitely high. I can even say I'm approaching smacked level at this point. Um, everything went well. Slight choker, definitely got the cheese, definitely got a little bit of the diesel, did not definitely got some pungent too, but did not get pear really. No pear. Uh, as far as the listed effects, energetic. Well, like I said, I was already energetic and I don't feel less so, so I'm gonna say okay to that one. Euphoric. I mean, I feel okay, but I don't feel super happy, and that's the other one, happy. So, yeah, I'm not feeling those in a super abundance or anything. Uh, but everything else is great. I feel nice, it's a nice high, and it feels a little old school. I like it.

Okay, just so that you know, folks, I had to do about three of these closings because I am high. I'm not smacked yet, but I might be approaching smacked, I gotta say. I'll let you know more one hour later.

Definitely high. At the at the gates of getting smacked, definitely. Which for me is not uh unexpected. I've experienced this before, even in this condition. It's potent. This is not for newbies. Uh, especially if it was fresh, it would definitely be deadly. It's not a sleepy vibe at all. It's almost classic sativa, but with a smooth bottom there. And let's see if it rolls on to the one hour later.

Well, I gotta say, um, it was pretty cool. Uh, you know, 20 minutes in, I could even say that I was kind of approaching smacked zone, like really was earnestly was. Um, you know, I didn't quite get there, you know, past the 40-minute mark, it kind of slight come down, but still high, still high, and very pleasant high. Um, it's a high that you can actually be active in. It's a sativa, you know. So there was no feeling of body, no tired, none of that stuff, no body effects. As far as the effects, um, yeah, I can say they went down through it. So, how did it go for you one hour later?

Well, like you described, is the classic sativa effect, pretty heady, pretty consistent. One hour later it tapered a bit, but the remnants are still around, and the come down is also a bit prevalent. But in compensating all that, the high stayed so it's pretty good, even one hour later. So, are we ready for the smack a meter? We're ready. Let's do it. Let's do it.

Okay, and we're back with the smackometer. So, Skip, what are your final thoughts?

SPEAKER_01 15:38

It's an interesting experience. The cheese is prevalent just for that. You know, it's interesting how that intertwined with the bit of like pale mustard, and the actual experience is a strong sativa, very strong, but smoothed out like on the indica tip. Uh, pretty interesting and would be more so if it were more supple, more moisture. So it's not the case of the strain or the product, it's just the lack of moisture. And that I would give it a 7.8. It would definitely deserve the eight, maybe even a little bit more, because this is the real deal here, folks. But the lack of moisture took it there.

Okay, wow, that's interesting. I have a slightly different, but not that far. So, I mean, I agree that the cheese terps were strong. I mean, I took poles before lighting it, and I could taste the cheese, and it wasn't unpleasant, but cheese turps were definitely strong. Uh, you know, I take it through the rundown. So from the opening, you can smell the terps. It looked good, like like Skip said, though, it was dry, and one just wonders, just wonders. And you know what? We can't blame Dank, we can't blame the dispensary. You know, sometimes things just happen, okay? This this might have been the last one on the shelf, right? We don't know. But this is the random sample that you, John Q public, might get, my dear mates, right? So we gotta do the same thing, right? We gotta, we gotta go with what we got, just like you. Uh you know, I didn't get the pear, definitely got the cheese, didn't like the branches. It wasn't powder, even though it was dry. Uh, definitely brought a lot, even though it was dry, which was something that was impressive. Yeah. Uh, as far as the smoke was a pleasant smoke, slight bit of a choker. Uh, definitely tasted the cheese throughout. Good high, fun high, active high, classic sativa high, where you know you're focused, you're creative, you're feeling good about what you're doing. Uh, as far as the effects, energetic, yes, euphoric. Yeah, I can say euphoric. Uh happy, that's probably a stretch, I would say. I don't know if you agree with that. Uh, other than that, I really enjoyed it and it boggles the mind because this was slightly dry and it was a fantastic herb. I actually go so far as to give it an 8.3. Wow, because I really enjoyed it. I'm still high now, even though I never reached smack heights, which is where nine goes, right? I was pleasantly high. And I wonder how it would be if I find it, you know, a fresh batch. So I'm gonna look out for it. And maybe we'll have to revisit it, Skip.
