You're tuning in to Gigglin's Highland, the 420 podcast, with your host, the Skipper and the Professor. And we're back with Giglin Highland. Today we are reviewing Biscotti by Rolling Green Cannabis.

Rolling Green Cannabis, also known as Greener Standards Inc. from Green New York. They're an upstate cultivator with 20 years of combined cultivation experience. They use controlled environment agriculture, which basically means advanced tech and data to grow weed. They offer a pretty large selection of what appears to be tiered products, where their green products are the value products, budget-friendly, orange is their standard, and purple is their premium, which I think is greenhouse grown from what I saw. And their price points match their tiers.

Dominant flavors are butter, honey, and vanilla. Dominant terps are caryophylline, lemonine, and mersine. The THC percentages, Leafly says, is 20%. All Bud has it down at 25%, and Rolling Green is claiming 26% THC.

And our Biscotti came in the Rolling Green clear 3.5 ounce bottle. It was vacuum sealed, and that was pretty nice. But all I've seen and the skip I've seen so far are these jars. That's right. Are we ready for the roll? We're ready. Let's do it.

Let's do it. And we're back with the roll. So skip, how did it break? It broke pretty small, pro, but it was enough to roll one junk and one blunt only. This did not come with a lot like yesterday's pack. Actually, there's only enough left for perhaps one more joint. That's really small breaking there.

Yeah, man. So as far as look, smell, and freshness, it was dark green with some lime green and brown hints. Very light turp profile. Honey dominant. I didn't get the butter nor the vanilla, but I definitely got the honey. Yeah. Not any tricones to speak of. And I broke up a couple of them to take a look. It wasn't dry at all, though. It broke subtle and very sticky.

However, I gotta say, I was very disappointed not to get that knockout turp profile when I opened the package, Rolling Green.

Yeah, nothing there, man.

All right. I think we're ready for the smoke. We're ready for the smoke, Skip. We're ready, bro. Let's do it. Alright, definitely got the honey. Um, some hints of vanilla, very light. After that first shot of butter, I didn't get anything else after that. But definite honey. Honey is the dominant uh profile in this thing.

And honey, but not sweet honey. I mean, the smell is very sweet, but the taste is like muted, but it's honey. It's funny because the s the the the aroma's honey, right? But the taste is more vanilla, right? Right.

And it's muted, it's not as you know. Yes, very muted, but her profile is not strong enough. Definitely a slight choker here, folks. Yeah, not a throat tickler, just uh sneak up behind you and make you choke.

So my first third in, and I'm actually not really feeling much. I gotta honestly say that. It's a good profile as far as smoking. I it's a pleasant smoke. Uh, I was sitting here talking with Skip, and I gotta say, nothing so far as far as a high factor. Right. It was it's good tasting, has a honey kind of thing with a hint of vanilla, did not get any butter. Um, as far as the turp profile and the air, not much to speak of.

Um, at least compared to other rolling green products that I've tried. Right.

But I have noticed that even though this one doesn't have an outward uh manifestation of a high, I noticed that in our conversation it was very fluid and intense. Yeah.

So it's it might be just working at this in the background and we're just not noticing.

We might, you know what's funny? We might actually hear this back later and say, oh, look, in our slurring or whatever, or slow speech, we were a high. Right. Because that always ends up happening to us. We're like, we're not high. And then we hear it later and we're like, oh wait, maybe we were high. So for now, nothing's strong though.

I can definitely say that. No, but there's just something in there because of that fluidity, you know. It's very easy to catch a word and talk, you know.

Yeah, I can say, yeah, that part is true. The real maybe the relaxed part, if I'm stretching it.

Yeah, but I think we're looking for, you know, the the monkey over you, and it's not there yet.

It's not there. Yeah, it's not there yet. About halfway in, still searching for it. I feel like there's a high coming. That part I can honestly say. I feel a little something behind that back of the eyes, which is usually where it starts, but um, I am not in a place where I'm like, wow, this is you know, I'm in a in an altered mind state. I don't feel that yet.

Do you feel anything, Skip? I don't I wanna say in the realm like I usually do, but no, I don't even think I've entered it yet. You know, it's like I am outside the stadium and I can hear the audience.

Okay, yeah, that kind of that's an apt description for this. Yeah. Yeah. Uh so I guess we're gonna keep smoking and see what happens. So down to my last third, and I can say, yeah, there's a high there. I uh it's not a strong high. It's kind of a talky kind of thing. Skip and I have been sitting here just conversating, but uh not very strong. I can honestly say that. Frontal lobe kind of thing, introspective kind of thing. It stayed honey throughout, uh at least up till this point. Right. But no turp profile as far as smoke. I can definitely say that.

What do you think, Skip? No, definitely. It's a pleasant, it's a pleasant smoke, and it has, although it doesn't have the overt high feeling, there is something in it because uh the connection fluidity factor, conversations are easy.

So I don't know if this is like a chatty kind of thing. I think it's more of a you know, hang out with your friends and shoot the breeze kind of thing. I don't think that it's something you should be alone for either, though. It's definitely a social one.

No, definitely, I definitely agree. And also, I made another observation between this one and yesterday's that when it's in the uh the THC, it's in the 20, mid 20s, low 20, it has this characteristic, you know. And obviously the number is not high, but it keeps you in a space where you're not tired and you can vocalize and maybe even put things together. And not kick any can can lines. Exactly. And it seems to be in the 20 percentile, 20, 25 percentile THC. That's interesting. All right, well, I guess we'll see in the just finish segment. Let's do it.

Okay, so this is uh Professor Just Finish for joints. Honestly, I am high. I could see the high. It's kind of like a general high, though. It's not something specific or focused. So you can hang out and talk, but there's not really any kind of focus or creative aspect, or at the same time, there's not a sleepy aspect either. It's just like a general high, nothing too strong either. I'm not gonna say I'm smacked, but I'm not gonna say I'm not high either. It will be something that you can uh chill out with friends, or something that you can just chill out by yourself. Uh, what Skip and I were doing was talking, but it's definitely not something that you're gonna be going rah-rah to do fun stuff with, you know, no hunger, pangs, nothing like that. I do definitely have the relaxed, I have the euphoric, I don't have the tingly, I don't have anything body. Well, I guess that's where I'm at at this point. So I guess I'll see you in one hour later, guys.

Well, for me, this high is very utilitarian. Got the relaxed, but not the tingly or euphoric, more introspective and conversational. Can morph to an angry high, so have a good head space when you smoke this. First third of the time, the high, not you know, definitely high, not smacked, somewhat unfocused and foggy. That's the way I would describe it. Second third of the hour, there was some come down, but not a big drop. Uh very conversational at this point. This is definitely a deep talker. Uh final stretch of the level, I would say was the same level of the last come down, so it didn't drop too much. Uh high-wise, no body effects to speak of at this point. More general high feeling now. So it's not it. It was an unfocused thing, then it became a conversational thing, and now it's just more like a I'm general high thing at this point. So, you know, I think that's where I'm at with it one hour later. How about you, Skip?

Yeah. Uh, right now, I one hour later, I don't really feel high, or at least I thought so, you know, that I I wasn't outwardly high anymore. But as I was going around doing my things, I found that I was doing high things, you know. Uh, but I had a sharper focus than usual. Uh with other most other varietals when I try to work, the focus wanes. Here I had laser focus, but other things I was misplacing things and just doing all over general high things. So one hour later, I guess the high's still there, just in a different form.

Yeah, for me, it's just like a general high. Like I feel it a little bit physically in like my face, back of my eyeballs, and stuff, but it's not something overpowering, and it's not something like specific.

Right. Exactly. Okay, that's a good way to put it. Definitely. I can concur with that.

I'm gonna have to give it a seven and a half, seven point five for its subtle but sustaining high, smooth smoke and a good flavor balance. It's a decent smoke, folks. It's good for conversation, good to keep it low-key. It is a low-level high, but it is a sustaining high.

Okay, well, I am not as high on it, pun intended, as you are. So for me, I guess looking at the whole experience, the terp profile was not as great as I've gotten used to from rolling green. Okay. And that might be something that colored my perception a little bit.

Uh, and I'm sorry if it was something that it's an older product and we didn't know, but you know, we are customers, and this happens with every customer. So we're testing the products just like anybody gets them. Right. Okay, we're not gonna have special treatment and get something fresh and brand new because that's not what happens to the customer. So the turp profile was definitely not as great as I thought it was. Uh, and something that I'm learning here, you see, because this is a standard or orange package, and we've tried orange and we've tried green, and I'm starting to see that uh with rolling green tears don't mean smacked potential. So I'm trying to figure out what they mean by these tiers. After the first come down, it had a consistent high, but it became more a generalized high, where at first it was like a full foggy and focused high, conversational high. Right. This it became more like a general kind of high, like you know, I'm walking around high, you know, that kind of high that you got, you know, from many weeds in your life, right? Uh body effects were very minimal, which is cool, but it can be a sleepy if a sleepy one if you needed it to. That's good. So I guess it really just comes down to you know, if I go with the effects that they say, am I relaxed? Yes, definitely relaxed. Am I euphoric? No, I'm not euphoric. I do not feel all happy and shiny, you know. Am I tingly? No, I can't say I'm tingly. Conversational was one that they probably should have put in there. So, with all those factors, for myself, I will definitely say a 7.1. Okay. Okay, so that's it's uh and I think in a weird way I'm being a little generous with that. Because in some aspects, I think it was even not as enjoyable. Right. But then again, maybe it's the strain in that respect, and so that's why I said, you know, not to be so harsh. And I think that's my smack a meter.
