SPEAKER_02And welcome back to Giglin's Highland. You're here with the Professor and the Skipper. Today we are reviewing Mac Flurry by Rolling Green Cannabis.
SPEAKER_03Rolling Green Cannabis, New York State cultivar from Green, New York, with 20 years of cultivation experience. They created a process called CTE, which gathers live data and utilizes it in the grow.
SPEAKER_02There are some conflicting reports on the strain history. One site tells me 50-50% hybrid of Cushmints and the White. The second one says it's a 50-50 hybrid of Sug, Pure Kush, and Flow. The third one says 50-50 hybrid of Miracle Alien cookies and ice cream cake. So what we know for sure, folks, is that there's one more than one way to skin this cat, and that it's definitely a 50-50 hybrid. As far as flavors go, we have vanilla, pungent, and butter. The terps are lemonine, caryophylline, and myrtene. And our friends at Leafly say it's 25% THC. Our friends at All Buds say 19 to 22% THC. And our friends in Rolling Green say 27.96% THC.

SPEAKER_02So bro, how did it roll? It broke actually pretty big. You know, I usually have the same amount that I break up every time we do one of these tests, and it was barely fitting in my J. So it was breaking very, very big, very, very big. And it was definitely enough for maybe two more after rolls. So this was definitely a big breaker.
SPEAKER_03How did it look, Skip? Very supple, very fresh, super frosty, large and medium-sized nugs. Light greens with orange hairs and a visible purple hue coming from the frost. Full spectrum notes of sweet candy all throughout. Ready for the smoke? Ready for the smoke, Skip. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_00Tobacco.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. You tasted that? Yeah, that's surprising actually, because it has a very which goes more with the second of the hybrids. Uh Sug pure cush and flow. That one says something.
SPEAKER_03Because yeah, even though it smells like a candy bag, that first opening was full on tobacco.
SPEAKER_02I think the second one was all buds. So it looks like all bud is the most accurate right now. We'll find out. Yeah. Okay. Shook, cush, and flow.
SPEAKER_03So it's a cush.
SPEAKER_02Um what is flow? I wonder.
SPEAKER_03Wow. So this is pretty. I mean, cush is everyone knows, you know, cush is very potent, uh, very obvious. Very obvious notes, odor, turps. But here you don't get none of that, like no skunkiness. All you smell is the sweet, like sweet candy, not even chocolate, just like a plethora of sweet candy, it smells like. But the smoke is different.
SPEAKER_02So, flow, from what we're seeing here, is a strain of purple tie and Afghan indica. And it has it's menthol, flowery, and ammonia. Full-on bouquet there. That pole was like candy right there. I'm getting like a touch of candy and a touch of spice. That's like it's a kind of strange turp profile.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it's interesting also to note uh that uh yesterday's review was also a cush from Rolling Green, and um, and it had the a similar, very candy, you know, very prevalent notes, which is surprising because you think cushy would think, you know, you know, skunkiness. No, this smells very pleasant. After that first blast of tobacco, I think I don't taste it again. Do you taste it again? No, now I I got it like a and I also smelled it like frankincense for like a quick second, kind of like that piff kind of thing. It was like for a second. For a touch, yeah. You know, another thing I just noted that it has a complex flavor profile. Yes, it's very complex. Like it has at different times different kind of notes coming right at you.
SPEAKER_02It sounds very familiar because it has the same turp profile too, lemonine, caryophylline, and uh.
SPEAKER_03Even a little bit of toffee there, I got like so. Needless to say, a very complicated turp profile. Yeah. And complicated, you know, not like you know in a bad way. Right. Just very complicated. Just like all these flavors coming at you.
SPEAKER_02So I'm about a third in. I don't feel high yet. Not really feeling anything. Um still waiting for something to happen.
SPEAKER_03Now I'm curious because I'm like, wow, if this is rolling green's uh I don't want to say interpretation, but their presentation of Kush, because it's all Kush-based, this one and the one we tried yesterday, Obsidian Kush. And I gotta say, wow, they they're pairing a potent varietal with a fruitiness, a very fruity, pleasant top end. Definitely a sharp smoke here.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, a little bit of a choker. Yeah, so I'm about halfway through at this point, and you know, I'm kind of still searching for the high. How about you, Skip?
SPEAKER_03I've entered the high gates. I just had to like kind of like pull them wide open, but it's not heavy, it's not even prevalent. So I can see what you're saying about searching for because we don't have the whole high. I feel like certain characteristics, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I can agree with that. I can definitely agree with that. I feel certain aspects of a high. Yeah, and I guess in a sense that means you are high, right? But it it feels incomplete. Yeah, it feels like an incomplete high.
SPEAKER_03Especially for something that is almost almost 30% TET, you know, you would expect you know, like a Tyson punch right away. But here, no. At least not yet.
SPEAKER_02It's it's not totally an unpleasant smoke. It's weird to say, but it's kind of reminds me of smoking a menthol cigarette.
SPEAKER_03Is that weird? Oh no, actually, I can see that. Because the tobacco thing, yeah, it has it. Especially like in the back of the throat area, like it has the dryness of like a cigarette.
SPEAKER_02As far as high folks, I definitely feel aspects like the skiv said, I feel it at the back of my neck. I can kind of start to feel it around the eyeball area, but it's not a high that's like uplifting. I can honestly say that. Yeah, I yeah, it's like I'm still on the same level, yeah. But have high characteristics, which is strange to say the least. Yeah, it feels strange. It feels strange, I'm not gonna lie. It also doesn't feel very conversational. Wow, right now I just got a spicy hint, like a hot sauce hint, like hot, like hot pepper. Yeah, that was interesting. I gotta say, the experience should be taken just to experience the very, very interesting and eclectic turp profile.
SPEAKER_03I agree.
SPEAKER_02Because it is just killing us with a bunch of flavors right now, yeah. Like different stuff the whole time. Yeah, I had a menthol cigarette, I just tasted like uh like I sucked on a hot on a hot pepper right there for a hot second. It's just a strange turp profile. Not necessarily in a bad way. Like if you're a connoisseur of marijuana, you might want to just experience it just to see like what it's like. It's very interesting. Peppery, then it turns to sweet, then it turns to like tobacco, then it turns it is strange, strange, strange, but not in a bad way. So if you're like someone who likes to partake in as a connoisseur, maybe you want to try it. Yeah, but as far as high, I mean, I'm high. I guess that's always the question, right? Are you high? Right. I guess I'm high. Yeah, it's like in the beginning stages of it. It's nice, it's not thrilling, but it's nice, nice, you know. But one thing that I've noticed with their uh purple or premium section is that it seems like they are long-lasting highs.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but as far as like getting you smacked, I don't know. That is true, it seems that way. That the the purple labels have that a smooth I want more lateral high and and it's a on high and it does last, but it doesn't ascend at all. It stays right in the middle. Again, not a bad thing to get, you know, if that's what you're looking for, and the just the taste alone is worth the price of admission. You know, yeah, it's a very interesting profile.
SPEAKER_02Like I would smoke it again just for that. Oh, yeah, just to kind of see, like, hey, that's diesel. Hey, that's this, right? Like that's so interesting.
SPEAKER_03Or definitely keep this to break it out when you're the first time you smoke with someone, you know, you link up with a person for the first time and and smoke, you know. You know how that goes to potash, and you're like, yeah, you smoke, you smoke, yeah. Bring this out for the first session. Conversational piece. Yeah. First sesh will be magic.
SPEAKER_02Because yeah, you'll have a lot to talk about, right? So I'm down to my last third, and I'm feeling the high more, but again, I'm not like I'm not ascending though.
SPEAKER_03It's lateral, it just not even expansive, it just like it moves.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like left to right. Yeah, but it's comfortable, like it feels like a comfortable high, right? Like you feel e at ease and comfortable. All right, what were the what were the effects? Uplifting? Okay, I could say that. Uplifting, I could say euphoric. That's a bit of a stretch. Yeah, that one's a bit of a stretch. I'm not really feeling euphoric. Calming or sleepy, calming, yes. I could I feel pretty calm. Yeah, okay, okay. So it's it's as advertised as far as effects. Um, I didn't get butter or vanilla, but I'm not gonna say that it doesn't have it because it has everything else. So we just it just probably what we didn't smoke it right enough to get the right flavor there.
SPEAKER_04Right, right.
SPEAKER_02And because I mean we were tasting everything in this thing. Yeah, um, so yeah, I can definitely say it followed the effects. I'm not sleepy, but I'm definitely calm. Closing in on the last third, and yeah, not a big talker, huh? No, it's like searching, you know. I was just about to say that. It's like you're concentrating on it. Yeah, maybe that's the problem. It's like you're trying to find the high. Like, hey, is it there? That's it. No, wait, oh, is that you? Like, yeah, that's not as fun as you know. You want to be like, oh my god, that's the high. Yeah, just got smacked in the face with it. Because seriously, folks, that's what we all want, right? The eternal question are you high? And I am high. Hopefully, in 20 minutes, I'll be saying, holy, holy, I'm smacked. You know what I noticed? An Indica dominant. It's something that's not archapati high, right? But I am getting higher as I smoke it. More intense, yeah, like the the relaxed, the calm, right? You're just feeling that more intensely as it goes along, right? Is that happening to you too? Yeah, so the high is not getting higher, yeah, but it's getting deeper, yeah, right. You know, I personally believe that there's always a use for a marijuana. So even marijuana's that aren't in your cup of tea or that you know you usually like to smoke, you they have a use somewhere. Yeah. And a lot of times I've used marijuana like that, that I say, hey, this this weed doesn't really get me high. So I'm gonna use it. I remember when I was back in the days in school, and I would say, hey, this marijuana doesn't really get me high. So that's the one I'll smoke while I'm doing my homework, you know, so that I can still do my function and do my homework and still smoke weed and be high, you know. Right, right. True potheadness, you know? But that's that's what I would use. And then there was the other one that I learned that, you know, you when if it's a marijuana that makes you go to sleep, you know, you put that one away and you say, All right, when I when I have insomnia, that's the one you smoke. And you're like, okay, now I could go to sleep good, good, sleep tight.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02And you know, so you learn when you become a pothead, pothead, that you know, different marijuana are good for different things. And it's like Skip said, this is a great conversational piece. The turp profile is insane. It's insane. Um, there is a high there, you know, that it may it's an it's you know, like it's a deep high. I'm not gonna lie. Like I feel deeply high. Yeah, it's just not really my kind of high because it's like, you know, I want to be smacked. And this doesn't feel smacked, it feels more like like euphoric.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and it's not a heady high, which is what we're used to.
SPEAKER_02It's it's more like a mix. For me, there's a heady aspect, but it's more like spatial in the head, but I feel yeah, like the sides of my head. There's no frontal lobe, like, you know, that's where you get the high feeling. You know, your frontal lobe is when you're like, oh, and that's the feeling. And I'm not getting that from this. It's more like the side, the side portions of my brain are getting it. You know, that's where you get that euphoria, and hey, everything's great, and I'm relaxed, and you know, stuff like that. So I can also see why I can be a sleeper, and it's so and I do feel uplifted, yeah. You know, but I don't necessarily feel chatty or happy or giggly or hungry, none of those things, none of the standard marijuana feelings. So, so far for me, Mac Flurry is marijuana meant for people who like to smoke marijuana as connoisseurs, like it's a great marijuana for that. So if you're like one of those marijuana guys, and hey, listen, don't get me wrong, Skip and I are like that. You know, we like to smoke different weeds and you know, have different experiences. So if you're like one of those kind of guys or gals, you know, you should give it a shot. Now, if you want to get smacked, I don't know if this is the one.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think you would be wasting your money if you wanted to like take it to the face, if you needed like a high real fast and all that. No. Yeah, and a hammer to the face, you know, like yeah, see, this is probably not the one. And this and for a lot of reasons, you know, it takes a while for the high to, you know, accumulate, and you'll be with a mouthful of flavors before the high even Yeah, because that's kind of how it is.
SPEAKER_02It it's first you smoke it and you taste all these flavors, and you're like, where's the high? Where's the high? So you're only experiencing the terpene aspect at that point. Yeah, and then like when you're getting towards the end, it's like, oh wait, and you feel it like settling in on your cheeks and stuff. So it's like the sides of your face. Yeah. And you know, that's very interesting. Very interesting. So I guess that means that we concur that we are high. Yeah, we're high. I'm high, yeah. That's an interesting high. Yeah. Wow, I got really spicy right there, like paprika.
SPEAKER_03I got a strong licorice root.
SPEAKER_02My last blow. What is going on here? This is fantastic. I literally got like a paprika, like spicy, smoky.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's almost funny, right? How crazy is that. I'm like wondering, are we nuts? Right? Are we nuts? We're describing it, and I'm sure you know the audience at large is there like, really? But no, really, it's no exaggeration.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I'm looking him right in the face, and we're almost gig like giggling to each other, literally, because we're like, is this like are we acting stupid or is this like for real? Like this for real? Okay. There was more like pepper.
SPEAKER_00Are you feeling?
SPEAKER_03Are you feeling but let's just start off like coming from AUP? Are you about the tree?
SPEAKER_02I think I'm gonna roll into my just finished segment. Yeah, my last poll was pepper. What is going on here? Gotta say, very interesting. The high is settling in, yeah. So there is a high there. It is a unique high, though. I will say that. So if you're like if you're looking for a standard, I want to get smacked high, this is probably not the strain for you. It's a unique feeling. You know, I feel it on my cheeks, and I and like the physical aspect, I feel it on my cheeks. And as far as like the high aspect, it's funny because it feels like the sides of my brain and like it's centered around my face area, the side cheeks area, which is a different feeling, you know. You like I said, I'm usually a frontal lobe kind of guy. Yeah, but it's interesting. How about you, Skip? What did you what did you think?
SPEAKER_03I'm high, but it's um it's like um it's hard to describe. Not the high, but the whole experience, because the high, basically, it's not a big high. It's like mid-high, but the the attention is not there. It's like you're looking for the high, but all these complex flavors just jumping in and out, in and out, like a double dutch of flavors, is really is ridiculous in its experience and also trying to describe it because really, folks, it is worth the price just to experience that. So to couple that with the high is the interesting part. But the high itself is not that crazy.
SPEAKER_02I'm high. I I do feel a high. I'm not gonna lie. I feel a high, it's there, but it's so it's just such a unique and different high. That is like it, that's why it's hard to like identify as a high.
SPEAKER_03You know, at times is like, is it physical or is it mental?
SPEAKER_02Because like, yeah, for a second there, I felt it be in my eyes, like between my eyes, similar, like the raccoon, you know, domino mask feeling. Yeah. And now that's gone. Yeah, it's a it's a strange feeling. It's a strange feeling. But our experiences with rolling green is is that your mood has a lot to do with it. So it's like maybe it's when you stay positive, you you think positively of the marijuana. I don't know. And if you're like, you know, I didn't like that, then it's like a negative aspect. And you know what? If that's the case, then you're high. And that, you know, you're right. No doubt about that. After we finished smoking, for the first um which is like pretty much right now, I guess we can actually say the experience was was that we weren't we weren't high while we were smoking it, but at towards the end of the smoke, yeah, the high like kicked up and that it's a unique high. Right? Yeah. Can you concur with that?
SPEAKER_03Oh, definitely, definitely. Anything you want to add to that? You'll be pleasantly surprised, even of the high, because you know, most of us weed smokers have a expectation of what the high is. And this one is is different because it's more like uh empty-headedness, you know. It's not a very strong high, but coupling that with the effects of all the notes and the terps, it it enhances something. So it has something. It does. It's just a bit difficult to put into words, really. It's an experience, folks.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's it's definitely a unique high. But there is a high, definitely a high. For me, I would say, definitely a high, but it's a unique one. And it might feel a little weird if you're not an experienced pot smoker. Right. I might be like, wow, this is weird. You know, like so. I would definitely say for experienced pothead smokers, this strain right here.
SPEAKER_03Well, to enjoy the full spectrum of the of everything, yes.
SPEAKER_02I would I think we're ready for okay. So I think that's one hour later, right, guys? Definitely. All right, let's do it.

SPEAKER_02Well, I gotta say, it was a good experience. I am definitely on the come down, definitely uh far into the come down, actually. Uh, but it was a good high. It was a different high, it was an interesting experience. Um, first 15, I was definitely feeling it. Uh, it actually kind of went into like the first, I would say 45, you know, and it was kind of a high that moves around. I felt it on my cheeks, I felt it in my ears, I felt it behind my eyes. So that was like the physical aspect. Now, looking into what it felt like, it was a good high. It wasn't something that got me super smacked or uplifted, but it was something that was warm and comfortable and was fun. I actually enjoyed myself as I was sitting here listening to music and talking as in the one-hour later waiting process. So it was actually pretty cool. But was I smacked? No, no, no, no. I don't think I was smacked. I also feel that it wasn't a high that's normal. Yeah, it was a unique high, so I'm not sure that you know, but like it's a it's a unique high. I'll leave it at that until the smack a meter segment.
SPEAKER_03What do you think, Skip? Definitely. I mean, uh, it started off very smooth. The smoke was smooth and light, but sharp, which lent to a lot of coughing. At times the high started slow and it started feeling like uh smoking mid that kind of just head space high. But it coupling it with the complicated flavor profile, it it became a lot deeper, that that high feeling, and it came out very, you know, something very um pleasant. It was a very pleasant, very unique experience because of the flavors. It was like a a symphony of flavors and not even related flavors, which is what tripped me out. You know, you one minute licorice, and then the next minute pepper. So it's very we should probably save that for the smack a meter sick. Well, no, I got more for that as well. But yeah, very interesting, very interesting experience overall, definitely. Okay. So are we ready for the smack a meter? Yeah, we're ready. All right, let's do it.

SPEAKER_01Definitely feel like this. This is all right. This is actually all right, and definitely feeling this. This is alright. This is actually all right.
SPEAKER_02And we're back with the smack a meter. So, skip, what's your final thoughts?
SPEAKER_03Man, this was definitely an experience more than anything. I mean, the uh flavor profile is bananas, and I'm not exaggerating, folks. It's all over the place and nowhere at the same time. A lot of times they jump out at you. Uh, I mean, it's too many notes to even mention. I mean, as we've mentioned before, but to go over that. But just for that experience alone is worth, in my opinion, the price of admission. The stars of the show, again, the flavor profile. So, I mean, I'm I'm caught in between the fact that the high tapered off, you know, and um and I don't feel it one hour later. I just feel the come down. So I want to give it an eight. So I'm in between 7.9 and 8. And it the struggle is that that one hour later, I don't really feel much of anything.
SPEAKER_02Well, do you feel like it hit on other aspects? So look, you know, uh turps when you open the package. So maybe it deserves an eight. If you feel that it missed on certain things, the terps, the flavors, the effects, then maybe it's the 7.9. And that's where it is. So, you know, which one a is right, which one is worth it?
SPEAKER_03So I will go, I will go as far as eight, just for the the flavor profile. That that experience alone is worth it. Okay, excellent.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so as I it's funny because I always like to break it down. So let's start from the beginning. In the beginning, I opened it. The turf profile wasn't very strong for me, but it was sweet. Like when I actually looked for it, it was sweet. Saw some trichomes at a glance. I really love the purple white coating because it's true, it was like a frosty coating, but it had like a purple hue to it, and that was very unique. Yeah, um, it broke very big, which was actually a positive, right? It was because I mean it. I'm looking at the jar again, and there's like enough for two, maybe there, yeah, which is pretty cool. Um, other than that, you know, it was a high that was pretty unique, it moved around a lot. Um, it was a steady high for a long time, but I have to agree with the skip that it is on the definite come down right now. There was no body until now. I'm feeling it in my spinal cord, which is not fun. Um, and now I get to talk about the turret profile. Listen, not for inexperienced pot users, because if you're just looking to get high and stuff like that, this is not the weed for you. This is for someone who is the connoisseur, you know, like a wine taster is a weed taster, you know. That's something that Skip and I like to do also. And this was so much fun because we were just getting so many different flavor profiles out of it while we were smoking it. And although the high wasn't like a ridiculous smacked high, that was a fun experience. Yeah, the high was also at first hard to identify. And that's why I say it was it's definitely for experienced potheads. Yeah, because at first, even we weren't identifying it and we're experienced potheads. We were like, Are we high? Are we high? And then finally, you know, when you sit back and let it go and try to just like leave it alone, it it finally like arrived. Did you did you notice that? It arrived at that point, and it was a very pleasant high. It was like a nice high. So it was sad to see it go. Yeah, and so because of that, I think that this is probably uh you know something that I would buy again. I think it's a lot of fun. I don't think an amateur pot user should buy it. And my final thoughts are amazing and eclectic turp profile, not for inexperienced potheads, a really unique high. And for that, I'm going to give it an 8.1. Wow, okay. I'm one-upping you, Skip.

SPEAKER_02The only thing is, I have to agree with Skip that something like this, if I was high right now, like an hour later and feeling the same effect, it would might have gone almost as high as like an 8.7, an 8.5, because you know, it's so unique and kind of fun when you're like when you recognize the high. And so that's something that you know, if they can do something to increase that, that would be fancy. That would be magic. Definitely magic. So I think, yeah, I think that's where we're at with this one. Definitely.
