Rolling Green Cannabis, also known as Greener Standards Inc. from Green New York, is an upstate cultivator with 20 years of cultivation experience. They use controlled environment agriculture, which basically means they use advanced tech and data to grow your weed. They offer a pretty large selection of what appears to be tiered products, and their price points match their tiers.

Triangle Mints number 23, according to other sources, is also known as wedding cake. 2019 Leafly Strain of the Year, cross between Triangle Kush and Animal Mints. Top turps are cariophyline, mercine, and lemonine. Top flavors are vanilla, pepper, and butter. Top effects are relaxed, aroused and hungry. THC contents are as follows. Leafly has it at 24%, all but at 28%, and Rolling Green at 27.3 THC.

Our Triangle Mints arrived in a glass clear 3.5 ounce jar. It is part of the green or value level of the tiers that Rolling Green has, which really comes down to about 35 to 45 bucks. And you know, we keep hearing about these Mylar bags from Rolling Green, but we haven't seen any of those. We've only seen glass jars. We ready for the roll, Skip?

It broke pretty small to almost even. Enough for the show, which is one whole blunt and one joint, and enough barely for another set. The sample was enough for the show, but nothing else left. How was the look?

As far as the look, it had mustard green and brown colors, little brown hairs in there. Quite a few branches also in there, which is not good. Rolling green, gotta have better cutters.

Strong turf profile. It was earthy with a slight touch of mint. No trichomes to speak of, at least from my eyes, or hard to see. Maybe the trichomes are dusty and not shiny. Right, right. It was supple, not dry. It looked pretty good. Yeah. Are we ready for the smoke?

Yeah. Kind of like a like a muted mint. Like a cookie almost. Like a sweet mint.

I kind of also get it on the exhale, too. That's pretty cool. Okay, so I'm about my first third in, and you know, still waiting for the heart. But nice taste, little sweet minty kind of thing going on here. Um what do you think, Skip?

Yeah, well, the mint is going away as far as you know. I was just singing there. The mint is going. You're losing the mint? Yeah, I'm losing it a little bit. Getting a uh but it's still like the minty feel, not so much the taste. Almost like uh I don't want to say a menthol cigarette because it's not that intense or artificial. This is more natural the mint the feeling. Okay.

Well, I'm not getting that yet. So far, an enjoyable smoke. Am I feeling anything so far? Well, let's see. What did it say that we have? We have uh relaxed. Relaxed? Okay, I guess I'm starting to feel a little relaxed. Aroused? Well, not really. Hungry? No. No, so aroused and hungry. Well, maybe I guess it's the circumstance, right? I guess if you were, you know, with your special someone. Maybe you'd get aroused. You don't think so? Okay, well, I'm not I'm not hungry. I'll say that. Relaxed. Okay, I could say that it's starting to get me relaxed, right? I guess. So approaching halfway now, and still have the mint, but it I could see how it's kind of getting. I'm not gonna say that I'm it's getting lost, but it's losing the sweetness factor.

Yeah. And yeah. I guess that's what you meant by menthol. Yeah, and that right on like on the roof there in the tip of my tongue. There is like menthol, but not sweet.

But I guess in the in its defense, you know, we are using fire and ash to burn it. So that makes sense. I'd be doing the best, you know, the strain is doing the best it it can.

So far, a decent smoke. I'm feeling I'm starting to feel high. Yeah, it's like uh it's definitely an indika high. It's like a heavy, heady feel, so like it's heavy on the head, and you got like a tingly body kind of thing going on. So yeah, relax definitely. Aroused, I mean, like I said, I guess you gotta be there. And hungry? No, still not hungry. How about you? And not really a talker either. We've had some of these rolling green strains that we just start yapping away about stuff. How did you feel about this one? Not really, yeah.

Not really. It doesn't have that cohesion factor.

So probably a solitary smoker, right? Right. Smoking, watching television. You know, this one's a kind of a quick burner. Are you seeing that?

I'm already down to my last third. Yeah, interesting. But you know, not an altogether unpleasant smoke. Just like I'm noticing every pull is like kind of flying. Yeah, so down to my last third, and definitely a high setting, and it's definitely an Indika old school kind of high. Heavy, heavy head. Feeling it in the back of the eyeballs and in the nose. Um, you know, a decent high. I wouldn't say a social high. I'm not gonna say that you're gonna be a troll or anything, but it's not really social. Like it, you're just chill. You know, that Indika chill, classic Indika chill.

I could see myself like just hanging out and like doing something like that, but not really wanting to go out to like a club or a party. Like you asked me that on this week, I'm gonna be like, nah. So are are we rolling into a just finished skip? Sure. Oh my god, it looks like you might be finished before me. This thing is a quick burner. This is where having a heavier leaf might be a detriment.

Hi. Definitely high. Not a strong high, but um, it's just it's like it stays around. I right now I can't even find a word for it, but yeah, it's high. But sounds like high to me. Yeah, definitely. Just not like, you know, being that it's an indica you expect some to hit you hard over the head. No, this one is more, you know.

Yeah, to me, it's like one of those old school doofus highs where you're like it's heavy in the head and the face, and you know, you're you're kind of lazy minded. It's one of those highs. You know, like the kind you used to get when you first started smoking weed. With an added minty essence, with a minty taste to it when you smoke it, which is interesting. So, how high are you though?

Because that's the eternal question. Exactly. Not very high, you know. Not very, very high, you know, not smacked at all, but high, yeah, cruising definitely.

I'm definitely high. No, I'm feeling good. I am like I'm high. I'm not like smacked. I can't say smacked, but yeah, it's like a good high. And uh, you know, it's just one of those highs, though, that you're just gonna hang out with your friends and laugh at stupid things, you know. So don't expect to be ambitious with this one. But uh yeah, I think that pretty much covers it for us, right? Yeah, okay. I guess we'll see you guys one hour later.

Well, okay, so the highest cruising ride along, it has tapered precipitously, but it's still prevalent. You know, I can feel it, it's still here. Definitely.

Okay, well, I can honestly say that I don't have a real taper. It's actually consistent right now as it was from the beginning. Wow. Uh, and another thing that was pretty interesting about it was that it didn't have a ceiling per se. But I didn't get smacked either. I'm not gonna lie about that. Yeah, but it it wasn't like some of the other rolling greens that I've tried that had like I felt like it had a ceiling to it. And this one didn't. It felt like it it just went its own course, and you know, that was very interesting, I have to say. We must be high. Holy moly, a very good iteration of triangle mints. Yeah, okay. So, what do you think?

Yeah, yeah. I mean, the the minty flavor at the beginning and then the menthol feeling from the middle to end was very interesting as well. So, yeah, man, this is pretty interesting, actually.

I gotta say, pretty good high, a heavy, old school Indika feel, you know. And I know some people don't like that heavy, heavy, high feeling, so it's it might not be for everyone, right? Somebody, but nothing serious. Uh, you know what was really cool? It was easy to get lost in the moment.

Like I liked that. I liked that. That was kind of cool. That's like that. Was pretty cool, I can't lie. And like I said earlier, I didn't feel a ceiling, you know, I didn't get smacked, but I felt like it could have gone somewhere and then it wasn't, you know, the the possibilities were unlimited. Yeah. So, you know, for me, if you love, you know, Triangle Mints 23 or if or wedding cake, you know, this is definitely a good one for that. Um, breaking down the whole thing, you know, it was, you know, one thing, one negative, there was some branches in there when we opened it up. Oh, yeah. But it had a good turf profile. It was like earthy with a tons of mint. It was supple. You know, the smoke from the beginning, I was getting mint and it was like a sweet mint, and then it graduated, like Skip said, to a menthol, which I thought was pretty cool. Uh, the smoke was pleasant, and afterwards was the high, and it's it held steady. And, you know, for that, I have to say, interesting experience, a heady high, you know, not for everyone, but very good high nonetheless. Heavy old school Indika feel. And for that, I give it an 8.0. What do you think, Skip?

Well, uh, I I agree with you uh many ways. You know, I'm reading what I wrote initially, and what I described initially as a like a heady downer. And you described it better when you were saying about getting lost in the moment. Definitely it had that characteristic, very interesting. You could get lost pleasantly in anything, you know, in observation or anything. It it does have that characteristic, very interesting. It uh stays light, the smoke uh is good for non-focused pursuits at times because the mind tends to wander, and the high is long-lasting. For that, I give it a 7.8.

Excellent. Wow, so we're pretty close in alignment as far as what we think about the strain. Yeah, we think it's a good strain, and definitely for the price point.
