Good Green Cannabis, also known as Farillo Pharmaceuticals in Warwick, New York, is a subsidiary of Green Thumb Industries, which is an MSO originally from Chicago, Illinois, CEO Ben Kovler. Created in 2021 with a focus on restoration and support for communities impacted in the failed war on drugs. It is considered the smallest brand for rhythm products.

Nidal Haze, a Tiva dominant hybrid cross between Screaming Bubblegum Haze and Gorilla Glue No. 4, created by Rhythm Flower in their artist series in collaboration with Mitchell Tenpenny. Top flavors are lemon, bubblegum, and citrus. Top effects are energetic, creative, and focus. Top terps are terpinoline, mersine, and osamine. THC values are as follows: 23 to 24% according to All Bud, 20% according to Good Green, and Leafly has nothing to say.

And these buds came to us today in a seven gram bottle, which retails anywhere between $30 and $50, depending on where you go. This strain we got from the Flowery Dispensary in East Village, 10th Street, between 2nd and 3rd. Make sure to pay them a visit, y'all. Definitely. I think we're ready to roll it. We're ready. And we're back with the roll. So how did it break, Skip? It broke pretty even. So it was basically the same pre and pros grinding. How about the sample? Was it big enough? Seven grams is always enough.

Definitely enough. As far as the look, it had dark greens, ambers, yellows, and some brown hairs mixed in. Some pretty big buds in the package, can't lie. Miles her profile, but the lemon pops out. Yeah. Can still see some tricones in there. And unfortunately, it was pretty dry and powderish. However, it was packaged eight months ago. So that kind of explains a little bit of how that went.

Yeah, and a little a little love and revitalization in order to get it up to par. That's right. Dr. Skip at work.

And now I guess we're gonna smoke it and find out if it worked. Let's do it. Let's do it. First impression that lemon pops out. Citrusy. Got the citrus, yeah. Definitely. You know, this it tastes, it tastes like another strain to me, but I can't put my finger on it. Alright, well, let's see how it tastes lit. Started with a choke there. Yeah. Flavors are very mild. I think that's why I ended up choking. I was like pulling really hard to get a flavor in there. Yeah, man, this reminds me of another strain. I can't put my finger on it. Other than that, pretty okay tasting. The smoke can be a little scratchy. Yeah. I'm not tasting the lemon in the in the actual strain. Yeah, it's more like a citrus kind of. Yeah, it kind of turned into a citrusy kind of thing. Yeah. A citrusy with a kind of flowery bouquet. So, as we love to do, we also like to discuss a little more about the brand. So it is an MSO from Chicago, Illinois. Started in 2014, Green Thumb Industries. Um, Green Thumb, uh, like they said, good green is considered the smallest brand for rhythm products. So rhythm is probably their flagship brand as far as Green Thumb Industries, at least here in New York. Uh, other brands under GTI or Green Thumb Industries, Bebo Edibles, um, Dog Walker's Pre-Rolls, Shine Vapes, Dr. Solomon's Lotions and Concentrates, and Incredibles Edibles. Wow. Uh, and that's of course, aside from rhythm. Uh, accordingly, uh, supposedly GTI is in 14 states. 14. So, yeah, they're pretty out there. Pretty smooth smoke profile after the beginning choke. Not really feeling anything yet.

And the notes, the lively notes didn't translate much into the taste.

Right. I I can definitely say that too. Like, I am not getting the lemon. Yeah. And it was like it was the strongest turp, like when we opened the package, yeah. But I'm not getting it in the smoke. Yeah, I better stop looking so hard because I'm ending up choking, looking for so if this is considered the smalls brand for rhythm products, that's hard to believe because some of these buds are humongous. Yeah, these are big buds. Uh so yeah, I don't know.

Knuckle-sized buds in here, yeah, like knuckleballs in there. Yeah, I mean, I'm not complaining, that's nice.

All right, so I'm kind of approaching the first third. Um, what do I feel? I kind of feel something. It's like a little scratch. That's scratching the itch. Does that mean I'm high? Uh not really. No, not yet. Uh, let's do the rundown. Energetic. Not more than before. Creative. Not more than before. That one I can never understand. But yeah, no, I'm not feeling that. Focused. Not much. Nothing there yet. Okay, so we're on the same boat. So Leafly did not have any information on Night Owl Haze. All but did to its credit. Uh Leafly, we gotta do better. We gotta do better. Um, this is one of the few strains where uh All Bud actually rated it higher percentage of THC than the actual company did, where All Bud said 23 to 24 and Good Green said 20.36. So, you know, when that happens, that's always a positive thing for us. What say you skip anything stands out for you here?

So far, the bud looked great, the presentation was great, the notes are there, the smoke a bit light, and of course, devoid of those notes.

Yeah, I'm kind of feeling a little bit of something there. It feels very mild, but it it's there, like there's something there. Okay, so like I am feeling the feelings that you would feel, so the fogginess, a little bit of uh, you know um uh forgetfulness, a little bit, but it's very, very mild at this point. It's very mild, my friend, very mild. It's also burning pretty quickly. But you know, Dr.

Skip could only do so much, and it was kind of dry. Yeah, and like we mentioned before, we needed to uh do a little revitalization, and for those that are not in the know, that is just a few methods of uh how do I say restoring exuberance to weed, you know, adding moisture without actually having to run it underwater. Uh there's many methods of doing so.

And you know, some people do it, some people don't, some people rather smoke it dry. Um, but you know, sometimes it's good to figure out if it's gonna be better or not. And of course, as we always say, when we have a drier bud, this might mean that it needs to be further tested down the road. But we can only test how we receive it from the from the dispensary, right? Because that's what would happen to you. Exactly. And we're trying to approximate your experience, our good mates, as much as possible. So this is how you would get it. This is how we're gonna rate it. Right. All right, so I'm hitting about the halfway mark, and now it's starting to taste a little spicy. Are you getting that? Yeah, like spice. I'm actually getting spice, I'm not getting bubblegum. We felt the lemon before we lit it, we felt the citrus after we lit it. I'm not tasting any bubblegum.

Okay, so now that we're in the halfway point, let's hit the effects again. Energetic. Not really. Creative, focused. If anything, I feel a little less focused. Right, right. But just a smidgen. Yeah. Um, it just makes me feel a little more relaxed. Uh, but yeah, that's pretty much all I'm getting. As far as physical effects, I'm feeling it a little bit behind the eyes, you know, maybe a little fuzziness in the middle of middle lobes of my brain. But other than that, that's pretty much it. It's a very mild sensation for me.

How about you, Skip? Yeah, you know, I mean, we're we're high tolerance type of uh vibe, but this here is low. Feels low. I mean, you feel the high, but it's very low key.

Yeah, I mean, we've had experience with rhythm products, and if this is the smallest for rhythm, it kind of makes sense a little bit because it has the same characteristics as rhythm. Yeah, uh, at least in my experience so far.

Uh, where you know, um I find that rhythm is not as strong as some people say it is.

Yeah, and it but it presents well though.

Oh, yeah, it's usually beautiful, smokes well, it's gorgeous buds, smells great, smells great, smokes great, yeah, uh, great terps. Yeah. Um, but usually um under the milder side. Right, right. Uh so if this is the the smalls of rhythm, it kind of makes sense, right? How it's making you feel. Yeah. You know, it's funny because I know some of you, my good mates, are going to be like, Man, you guys are serious potheads. Nothing phases you guys, like ever. It's like we need something with like like in the old cartoons that it has like the the skull and crossbone symbol on the bag. Like, we need something like that.

Yeah, some uranium, yeah, something like that.

Yeah, some like uranium uh enhanced marijuana or something like that. Yeah, sometimes I feel that way. Sometimes I'm like, where is it? You know, yeah. And you know, I I do want to be completely high where I'm smacked and you know, giggling here in a corner to myself. I would love that. At these prices, we all do, really, you know. And that's why my mantra continuals do not pay more than $40 for an eighth, folks.

Well, you know, this one is more than an eighth. So the price point is a very attractive, very attractive for what you're getting. Seven grams, fifty dollars. I mean, even that is a stretch, but I mean it's it's better than the norm.

Yes, it's it's actually a great price point. And good greens, we congratulate you for that. You have to have uh some credit for giving it to the masses at a fair price. At a fair price, absolutely. And we will remember that in our review. Closing into the last third, it's burning pretty quickly. I mean, it's a little dry. Um, going back to the effects, energetic? No, no, not more than before. Okay, I will say this, however, it's not making me feel tired or couch locked, right? Right. So, but it is a sativa dominant. Uh creative, yeah, no. Focused. No. No. Uh, as far as the lemon, I'm still not tasting the lemon anymore. How about you? No. Citrus, you still getting citrus?

No, not as much. It's gotten sharper, if anything.

Yeah, it's gotten sharper. Uh, bubblegum. I never got bubblegum, did you?

At one point I got spicy, yeah. And then, but then went away after a while. So that's gone too. Uh yeah. It's pretty much the story, you know. It's part of the rhythm nation, right? So it's gonna have rhythm characteristics um as far as the strain itself. Uh it's a haze, and you know, Skip and I are so familiar with hazes. Um but uh other than that, it seems pretty okay. I mean, what would it be used for? Definitely the casual smoker, someone who doesn't smoke a lot, and who gets super high when they only take two or three pulls, this is perfect for you. Uh other than that, it's uh, you know, it's great for honestly, it's great for anything you want to do because I don't think it's gonna stop you anywhere. If you want to go out and do do something with this, great. If you want to hang out at home, do something with this. I do not feel couch lock, I do not feel anything like that. What would you use this for, Skip?

Maybe if I had something to do, you know, like to clean uh the bathroom or something. Well, you know, something that doesn't require a serious focus, but you know, I can still remain energetic and not be falling on my ass.

Yeah. Yeah, for me it's like uh when I'm working from home, you know, something where you feel high, but you don't want it impeding you in any way. Right. Like you you want to still stay on task, but you just want to have that little feeling, like, yeah, I'm still high. Yeah, you know, but not really high that you're smacked and can't do anything high, you know. So it's like that semi-high, that that um that scratches the itch, you know.

Yeah, that's true. And and you know, could uh could be a nightcap, you know. It takes it takes the edge off, you know, when you're feeling for a little THC. You know, I could see that.

I could see that. Yeah, I could definitely see that. But if you want it to get you smacked, no, I don't think it's gonna get you there.

No. Do you feel any higher after coughing? A little bit. A little bit, a little bit. That's always a welcome sign, but I this hasn't made me cough almost. That's why I'm like, man.

I'm taking some deep pulls, Skip. Like, I'm like going all in, and I think it's because I'm trying to search for the turp, so I'm forgetting myself. Right, right. And I'm coughing because of it. Right. The turp profile is all but gone. I mean, it has like a little sweetness to it, right? But not in the sense of like candy sweet, more like swish or sweet, sweet. You know, remember those cigars, swisher sweet? Yeah. Oh, they were terrible to roll weed in. Yeah, those things. I don't know. I didn't like it. I know some people like it. Uh I wasn't a fan of it.

But let's just start off like coming from the U Tree. Yeah, I'm rolling into my just finished. Now I feel the high kind of went to another level. I'm a little higher, yeah. But again, not by much, and it's not a big high at all. Very functional. Um again, definitely took the edge off. I don't feel the need to have to indulge anymore. And let's see how that goes into the hour. That's how I know I'm talking too much. Skip finishes before I do. Hey, I was I was really taking those hard pulls myself.

And it's truth to that, you know, those lack of terps are very important, even in into the smoking experience. Very true, very true.

I mean, it can also be that I mean, it relatively for herb nowadays doesn't have a high THC count either.

Absolutely. This is like the norm now.

Yeah, it's at 20. Um, and you know, normally nowadays, according to their company, it's at 20, right? Less than 21. Um, and nowadays we are finding a lot of you know strains 25, 27, 30. 30. So it could be that we're spoiled scared. But you know, the whole point of this is to test the level of the marijuana's ability to get you smacked. So, fair or not, you know, we do tell you if it's a nice experience or not. Right. Oh, wow. So it looks like I'm in my just finished by accident because the cherry just fell out. I hate when that happens. Yeah. So yeah, I mean, yeah, I feel a little higher, just like Skip said, um, to the point where I can actually classify it as a high. Right. Now, is it a you know strong high? Is another matter entirely. Um, let's see where we end up. One hour later. Let's do it. See you guys.

So how did it go, Skip? Well, one hour later, it was uh still a low flying high, but it lasted the hour. And now closing out the hour, what I feel is basically the uh the remnants of of that low flying high.

Yeah, I'm not smacked, I'm not high. Um, but I definitely was feeling something throughout the hour. It was definitely something there. Not at a level where I can say that I am staring at the wall, but at a level where it's something recognizable, I guess that's the best way I can put it.

Uh but yeah, long gone remnants. I agree with skip on that point. And yeah, that's one hour later. So uh did it go through the hour? Uh most of the hour. Yeah, same feeling. So it was consistent for what it was worth. It was consistent, right? And uh, yeah, I I guess there's nothing else I could say to that. So I think it's time to get down to the smackameter. Glad to do it. Let's do it. Definitely feel like this. This is alright. This is actually alright. Definitely feel like this. This is alright.

How does it go, pro? All right, let's do the breakdowns. So when we opened it, oh, eight months old, pretty dry. Okay, so it could be because of the age, it could be because of the storage, it could be because of a lot of things, but yeah, pretty dry. Dr. Skip was on the case, did his uh restorative practices, and uh, you know, got us back to a semblance of something nice. Um, you know, dark greens look pretty. Uh, it was big buds, which is something that jumped out at us, uh, huge buds. Um, so it's funny because if this is true that it's rhythm smalls, then what is rhythm has uh as large? Because these were huge buds. Uh, some well, there were some small buds in there, but most of them were huge. Yeah. Um, something strange was that the lemon turp popped before you smoked it, and then the citrus turp popped while you were smoking it.

And uh nothing popped after you smoked it. Um, and there was never a bubblegum, right? So we didn't get bubblegum out of that. It was that was pretty much it as far as the first impressions, as far as the smoke, it was mild to the point where it made us cough because we were pulling really hard to try to feel the terps or some sort of scratchiness or something. Um, as always, when the herb is dry, we have to give the caveat that it might have been the fact that it was kind of dry, right? But we won't know that because we're buying it just like you, the consumer's buying it. Uh so yeah, with all that in there, the smoke was pretty all right. After post smoke, it was, I guess the best way I could describe it is like a warm blanket feeling. And what I mean by that is. Is that I had all the comfortable benchmarks that you have when you're high, you know. So you felt the fogginess, you felt a little bit behind the eyeballs, you know, you had that warm, fuzzy feeling that you feel when you're high. And so all of that, all of that was there, you know? Right. You feeling it while you're in the conversation. But it has to be noted, but you don't feel high. That's true, absolutely. So it's like, yeah, and I know, I know. You're gonna say, well, wasn't feeling all those things feeling high? And I can understand that you believe that, but remember, you're supposed to feel all those things and feel high. So right, yeah. Um, and so with that in mind, you know, nice experience. Um, you know, definitely part of the rhythm nation. Um, I have to give it a 6.3. Okay, that's kind of where I'm at. I don't know. What do you think, Skip?

Well, yeah, we're like-minded. Uh nice package, it presented well. Packaging was nice and going into the opening was very impressive with these knuckle-sized nugs. Uh, very floral, very citrusy. The the, you know, the terps were there, everything nice. Uh, smoking it, also a very decent experience. The uh the smoke itself was pretty light, didn't need to cough a lot or anything. It was a pretty nice smoking experience. I mean, and I like the citrus notes. I I find that quite nice. But uh, it had no weight as far as the high. The high was there and it was prevalent impressively for out throughout the hour, but it had no weight on it. So the good taste, long-lasting, low-flying high, and that could be what you're looking for. But at this time, I don't think that's what I was looking for. And for that, I'll give it a six, a flat six. Interesting. I think we're kind of on the same page with that one. Yeah, I mean, it's good stuff. I mean, just needed a little bit more weight to it.
