Memory Loss OG is a 7030 sativa hybrid of amnesia haze and faceoff OG. The terps are terpinaline, mercy, and cariophyline. The effects are giggly, focused, and talkative. The flavors are ammonia, pepper, and woody. And as far as THC content, our friends at Leafly say 25%. Our friends at All Bud say 31%. And LiveWell says 28.32% THC.

Well, it broke about even, and as far as being enough, definitely enough. We have a 28 gram package here.

How did it look, Skip? Small, medium, and large nugs, dark greens with brown hairs and gold tricombs. Very loud. Citrusy and grapefruit notes all over. Cure seem pretty correct and handle well at harvest.

Sounds something that is good enough to smoke. What do you think, Skip? Should we do it? Let's do it. Let's do it. First impression. I you know, I get the ammonia right away. The ammonia is arguably the strongest smell for me. As far as the pull.

Yeah, it's ammonia, grapefruit, maybe a touch of woody. Yeah. Alright, let's smell okay, let's see what happens. Yeah, a touch of pepper. Got a touch of the ammonia.

It's like a grapefruit citrus heaven. Not much of a chemtase, no harshness. Could tell that the flower was flushed and cured.

So Livewell is a large company, very well known. Um, and so because of that, it has, you know, um, as we do our research, we find different things on the market. And, you know, these are things we should inform you about, right? So one of the first things that we find um that a lot of commenters talk about is that it's remediated. Right. And what does that mean, Skip, when it's remediated marijuana?

Well, that's a parlance for uh process that some cultivators choose to mitigate problems like dust mites, uh, mold, uh, anaerobic yeast, bacteria, to keep those bad things under control. And there is many ways to get rid of it. One of the quickest and perhaps the least expensive way would be to uh microwave the weed or radiate all those bad things out of the weed. But uh some potheads are really against that, as they should be. I mean, we all collectively should be, because there's many other ways to control those type of uh growth issues, and this one just seems to be, you know, maybe one of the more caustic ones. I mean, radiation, radiating the weed.

So, yeah, that's uh that's one of the things that I've read here and there as I've done my research. I don't know if it's true. We do not know if it's true or not. Uh, we're just giving you the information that we're finding online and letting you know what that means so that you're an informed consumer.

And their COA, you know, it reflects a clean grow. You know, all the uh levels of of anaerobic yeast mold and bacteria and anything else that can hurt you are below minimum, which is true.

I'm looking at it right now, and all of that stuff is below minimum. Right. I mean, I guess if you wanted to nitpick, there is yeast and mold detected. Uh, as far as you know, the limit is 10,000 CFUs per gram. And that's the unit that they wanna of measurement that they have per gram that it's it's uh you know they should not have. Right. And it does not reach the 10,000 limit, but it reaches 3,794. It's the only thing that is detected, all the others aren't, including bacteria, E. coli, salmonella, etc. But it has to be said that you know, there is some yeast and mold in here. It might be amounts that are too small to do anything to you, right? But if you have uh, you know, weakened immune system or weakened, you know, lungs, you might want to think, you know, look at that before you purchase the product. As anyone, you know.

And again, those things are just issues that we uh encounter in reading other people's written reviews and and and questions that a lot of people have, not directly towards us and this show, but we try to do a whole research and give you the most information we can find.

Right. So if we find something that seems significant in our research, we're gonna bring it to you. And um we don't, we're not sure if this is significant. Like I said, it's under the limit. Right. However, the reason we're bringing it up, uh well, there are two reasons. Number one is that uh, you know, we want you to have full disclosure and we don't want you to smoke something that you're you know, you might not be able to handle immune system-wise. And also, uh, to be honest, you know, um we have to. Wow, where was I going with that? I just lost my train of thought. I guess I'm getting high because I just lost my train of thought.

When we find something online that's said in a significant amount, so this is this is not something that only one or two people said. This is something that a significant amount of commenters have spoken about, then we're gonna bring that to you also because you know, whether we believe it or not, is it's irrelevant. We just we're reporting to you what we find. Right. Um so if you know, you might want to read a little more if you find yourself with an compromised immune system, and you know, something like that might hurt you a little more than the average person. And that goes with any weed, not just this particular that's right, any weed. And that's what makes COAs great. So, as far as going back to the strain itself, it has that ammonia thing, but it's not sharp, it's like a soft ammonia. Um, I can also get a little bit of the woody. I'm not getting the pepper, uh, but it's a smooth smoke. I am approaching my first third. And usually what we do when we approach the first third, we start looking at the effects. So, how do we feel in Skip? We feel giggly, not yet. No, can't say that. Focused? A little bit, yeah. I could say that too. Talkative. Yeah, we're yapping over here already. Definitely you guys can hear us. So that part is working. Unfortunately, my favorite effect, giggly, I am not getting out of this. So we're not sure how much or how little you should worry about the things that we just spoke about, but it's something you should know. Um, another thing that you should know about LiveWell is that at least in New York State, from what we have seen so far. We do not know about Colorado, we do not know about California. You might have other things there, live well. But here in New York, you can only buy Live Well in three different ways. You can buy it pre-rolled, you can buy it a half ounce, or you can buy it an ounce. And that's it. That's pretty that's a pretty rough way to make a mistake. Yeah, you know, like so. I as a pothead, I know that when I buy an ounce, it's because it's something that I want to actually smoke. Right. So when you don't know what it's like and you buy a half ounce or an ounce, that is a huge risk. Absolutely, absolutely. Every pothead I know, you know, has in an old draw somewhere. Yeah, some herb that they bought that they didn't like, but you know, because it they paid for it, they you know, they like don't want to really throw it away, and they're hoping that maybe one day they'll come back and smoke it when they don't have anything and it'll be great or something. Yeah. But um, we all do that as potheads, and you know, this would be a huge haul. Like, if you didn't like this to be holding sitting on an ounce, so you know that that part is not too much fun. It would be nice to have smaller sample sizes, so we know what we're dealing with here. Uh LiveWell, yeah. As Skip mentioned, LiveWell is part of the PharmaCan umbrella. It actually predates Pharmacan, but PharmaCan acquired Live Well.

Uh, so I guess PharmaCan is the larger company or the higher company, whatever you like to say it. And you know, they've been they have stores in Colorado from what Skip and I were reading in our research. You can actually go to the Live Well store. Yeah. And that must be interesting. And they also have a lot of sizes that uh variations of sizes that they don't have. How's the high there? It's uh it's hard to describe. It's definitely there, it's definitely cerebral. I'm not feeling anything in the body, nothing at all. So it's not it's not anesthesizing myself either, like you know. Right. This is probably not good for medicinal, it's all mental. Uh it's funny because my brain right now, I feel like it has no walls. Right. Like it's like, uh, it's just going all the way over there and all the way over there. And that's an interesting feeling. Uh I got a little touch of a smile on my face saying that maybe that's the giggly portion kicking in.

I don't know. That's exactly what it is. It was like an uh an openness with no boundaries. And that's uh that's interesting because that is the high. So that can get a bit confusing. You know, I remember first trying this out, and I was confused myself, you know, as to where is the high, but the high is there, it's just that it's not your typical high. It gives you a sense of openness, and I think that's where the uh creativity and the uh focus comes in.

Oh no, Skip, I feel high. I don't know what Skip is talking about because yeah, this is a high. You're high. I'm high, like I'm high. It's a high, folks. It's a it's just very cerebral. Like I feel it in the front of my head, of my forehead, feel it in the back of my uh, you know, my skull. Um, that's really where I'm feeling everything. I think that's why Skip is saying that, because you don't really feel anything body-wise. Right, right. And uh it's a funky feeling. Yeah, it's a Tiva. Sativa, baby. I'm not giggly, but I'm like, uh, you know, I feel good. I feel all right, you know. I got a little grin, not a grin, but like a little, you know, half smile on my face. Feel all right. Okay, I'm about at the halfway mark. Going back to the effects, giggly skip. Man, no giggly, man. What's up with that? Man, when I find the next uh uh strain that gives me giggly, giggly, giggly, I'm gonna be happy. Uh focused. Yeah, definitely. So we you already we already agree that focus is kicking in. Talkative. Yeah, look at me, yapping away. You hear me? I can't shut up. So I guess that one is also operative.

I mean, it could turn giggly if you smoke enough of it.

I yeah, I guess if you were watching something like funny, it would make you giggly, I guess. But for me, classic giggly is like you just want to start laughing for no reason. Right. You know that when you look at each other's face and start laughing, like that's giggly, like for me. And yeah, I haven't had a stream like that in a minute, I have to be honest. That made me giggle, still very smooth smoke. Yeah, gotta touch it. It's like it's funny because ammonia, pepper, and woody, you don't none of them actually stand out. It's like almost like a combination of factors in the flavor. So you got the ammonia, but the woody kind of blunts the sharpness of the ammonia, and then at the back end you have like the the bite of the pepper, the caryophylline. Absolutely, you know, so like it's all kind of there, but not any of them stand out. Yeah, but it is holding strong the turf. Like I'm already past halfway and it's still holding strong. That means that live well could either be an expensive great discovery or an expensive mistake.

Could be. Yeah, we're not happy about that. I mean, they and they also have a lot of strains now, more than than I've seen in the past. There's a large selection there.

Yeah, they're they do have uh a high end of offerings. Sounds expensive. But uh, you know, that's our job, right, guys? To find out and tell you.

Hopefully, we don't have like a dozen jars of uh live well stuff that we're just like throwing in the back of the closet. That's when we have to throw an event and just do giveaways or something like that. So I'm in my last third, and uh the turp profile has been almost freakishly consistent. Yeah, hasn't changed one bit. Um, and I can say the same thing about the high. The high is there, it's present, and it's not uh something that's gonna constrain you. Like you've you can get up and start doing stuff. It's one of those sativas, you know, where you can go around, you can do stuff, but you're high, and it's a nice high. It's not like you know, dong in your head. It's a nice, smooth, mellow feel, but not weak. It doesn't feel weak. Yeah, very nice. I'm actually enjoying it very much.

What do you think, Skip? Absolutely, very functional high, and also kind of like uh energetic in a way. You know, you can I can get up and do something, you know. It's pretty good.

It doesn't get in the way, like process, and getting back to it, right? So if we're there, giggly, no, I had a little moment where I've had like a half smile on my face, but that was like the most focused, yeah, talkative, yeah. You hear us, so yeah, live well live well, uh, one of the brands under Pharmacan. Other brands uh under PharmaCan matter. That's a pharmacan brand, and uh one that is doing uh collaboration is uh cam, a higher end cam. Also pretty pricey for their uh their items. I think they're actually pricier. Am I correct, Skip? Yeah, they are so they're higher end brands. So and I don't I also believe does Cam smell uh sell eighths? Yes. Oh, okay. So Cam sells eighths, okay. I wonder if they're competitive.

Uh in my opinion, the prices no, they're they're at the higher strata end of uh that spectrum. Even they have a they have an eighth, they have a quarter also, and it's also at the higher end. Some people consider LiveWell as the budget brand, a pharmacan. And so where does matter and cam fall? Uh cam is at the higher. Some I've read that matter is actually their their premium brand. Uh so it's between those two. And they have all uh some other ones, PC Nursery, which is like their testing brand, and of course Live Well.

But how can they call this budget if the smallest amount you can buy costs $100?

Absolutely. I've always felt the same way. So I'm not sure, and I've never read anything that Live Well themselves says that this is the budget brand, but on the reviews, that's the consensus.

I just believe companies put three different companies and sell stuff because they want to set market prices. And so we as consumers, what we have to do is make sure that we always go first to the to the seller that's trying to sell it at the lowest price. If you can stand the product that they have.

Also, one of the brands that I've noticed that are uh one of the easiest to discount or that I've had purchase at discount in many different dispensaries. And by that, they must all follow the same matrix because the lowest you'll find it at any given time is 90. $90 before tax and uh for the whole for the one ounce.

The saddest thing of all about this is we looked up in Colorado. Oh, yeah, how much the same ounce is how much was it, Skip?

50 to 70 for an ounce or a whole ounce of this.

Yeah. So that tells us I mean, what would jack up the price like that? New New York prices, right? Yeah, I guess. 150. And that's what is it really local then if you're trying to jack it up that high? Or, you know, maybe the guys that are selling it for 30. Maybe those are the real local guys, right?

It's like, you know, I'm sitting here kind of like soaking up the high here and trying to put a label on it, and it's nice, it's an open feeling, very sativa-ish, you know. The exact example of why some people don't like sativa dominance, because that openness, you know.

Yeah, if you're not a fan of sativa, this is not for you.

It is a classic sativa, but a light one, a light, you know, a light one compared to something heavier, like uh say sour diesel. You know, this one is is a bit lighter in in the mood.

As you heard, it just rolled into my just finished segment. Feeling good in the neighborhood. Yeah. The only way I could put it sativa classic. Um, you know, the turps stayed with it till the end, literally to the end. Yeah. Uh that ammonia taste, you couldn't escape it. If it honestly, if you didn't like the taste, it would have probably drive driven you nuts, right? Because it's like there till the end. Oh, yeah. Um, the high is very free-flowing. Like I said, there's no walls in my brain right now. Feel good. Nothing body-wise, positive or negative. There's just no body. It's weird. Uh, but all brain. And you know, let's see how this goes. Definitely. Let's see if it lasts an hour. Are you in your just finished two, skip? Definitely. Oh, well, there we go. I guess we just finished together. See you guys in an hour.

There were some points there where I felt like I was touching smackness. Excuse me. Uh burping right there. I don't know why. Uh, and felt pretty good. Uh, right now, kind of in a little bit of a taper, uh, but it was a smooth transition. How about you, Skip?

Yeah, I'm also in that taper mode there. It um a bit more clearer now, but throughout the hour. Yeah, the uh the high was consistent, definitely. And uh it would come in and out. There were times where I didn't think I was high, and then when uh my attention waned, boom, there it was. Yeah, that's how it felt for me too. It was uh like when I wasn't looking, bam! Yeah, I guess that's part of the memory loss part there.

Skip, final thoughts. Great smoke, very nice, very even, balanced, potent, different type, you know, very sativa-ish. On, you know, not taking nothing away from it. Sativa-ish in a in a good way. It kind of very uplifting a little bit, uh, energetic type, functional high. Nice. This is very nice, nice experience, and I'm glad I was here to experience it. I'm gonna give it an 8.3. Wow. This is good stuff here. Okay.

Um, let's go through the final rundown. So, you know, open the package, could smell the ammonia right away, but it was like a not a sharp ammonia. It was kind of like a dull ammonia, I guess. Bear with me, right? Uh, looked pretty good. Uh, they had these amber coating, like you know, looked like pollen. It was the tricones, of course, all throughout. Uh, there was definite herps, right? Dark greens, amber, orange, nice hairs, very supple buds. Yeah. Uh, you know, when we rolled it and smoked it, uh, the turp profile went through and through. I mean, talking about till the end, right? And it was like it was uh we uh well we discussed a kind of a mixture of the flavors of ammonia, pepper, and woody, not completely any one of them, right? But kind of like an amalgamation of the three. And it was a good smoke, pleasant smoke, uh, smooth, good, uh, you know, for the good, good smoke. Uh, the high was very interesting. Uh and like Skiff said, there was periods where I felt very high, and then periods where it kind of receded to the background, and that was kind of cool too. Um other than that, enjoyed the smoke. Um, and yeah, uh I will say for myself, I'm going to give it an 8.0.
