As far as Baby Yoda, it's a 70-30 Indika dominant hybrid of Khalifa Kush and the Mental. That's right, Khalifa Kush, the one after Wiz Khalifa. The terps are Mersine, Pinene, and Caryophyll. The flavors are tobacco, pepper, and woody. Effects are talkative, aroused, and focused. Our friends at Leafly say it has 22% THT. Our friends at All Bud say 23 to 25% THT. And our friends at Banzi say 25.9% THC.

Wow, this definitely broke very big. I mean, I was having a lot of trouble closing this J here, and it even had enough left over for two more after our rolls. How did it look, Skip?

Frosty light greens with brown hairs, light, musty tobacco notes. Very prevalent. Although it's not a loud pack, it has that musty tobacco smell. And the tricomes are shining, folks. Yeah, it looks like a star. Ready for the smoke? Ready for the smoke, Skip. Let's do it. Let's do it.

Wow, I took my first pull, and I gotta say, it was like pulling from a cigarette. It's very tobacco-y, folks. I did not get the pepper or the woody, just the tobacco. Strong tobacco note. Yeah.

But a different one. Not like a cigarette, because a cigarette tastes kind of like processed tobacco. It tastes like that natural tobacco if you roll your own cigarettes kind of thing. Yeah, that's what it tastes like. And it's smooth, but the smoke is dry. I concur. You know, I've learned this lately in a few of our reviews across different brands. It's starting to seem to me that you'll always find one like this. And what I mean is that one that is more tobacco forward. And it's just surprising because this is Bancy 1305, you know, a boutique cultivator. And it's kind of ironic that he also or they have a varietal like this. Rolling Green has some. All everything we try, Dank has some. They all have one tobacco forward varietal.

And then it makes you wonder did the person want the tobacco flavor? So maybe this is a cigarette smoker?

Well, in this case, I would have to say yeah, only because Banzi 1305 is known for its cutting-edge, you know, strains or flavors or things that they make up, even their names, how they make it up. So I would have to, you know, say that it was done purposely. You know, there are people that enjoy it. And really, you know, to be quite honest, some of the ones that we've reviewed from other brands, they weren't bad either. You know, it's just a different thing that tobacco forward.

I just feel like it's a strange sensation to take a pull of something, feel like you're pulling from a cigarette, and you're not getting like the cigarette effects, you're getting something different, right? A different result. So for me, it feels a little odd.

Yeah, and they all up to this point had something different about them, you know, in the feeling. They were more milder. This one here, 25.9%, according to Bansy themselves.

The weed was very fluffy, so I'm not very surprised that it turns out that it's burning kind of quickly. Yeah, it's very feathery, uh, a feather feathery strain. So I'm already at my first third. Um, not feeling anything yet. So I'm still uh breathless in anticipation here. Um, but yeah, it's burning fast. Let's see what happens. All I know is this if I'm putting my name on a strain, it's gonna be a knockout.

Most, most, uh, I'm sure most companies want maybe they're not, you know, they don't really care. Or not, I wouldn't say care. That's kind of harsh. They all care, but it's about money. So this is a financial decision as well. And it also, I would have to say that Bansy, all of the across the ones I've tried, have different flavors, turb profiles, all that, but they all have a smoothness, and this one has that as well.

He's right, there's like no hint of a choker in this at all.

I mean, you will cough, but it's due to the dryness of the smoke. Or if you inhale too deeply, yeah.

No exhale, very smooth. Yeah, that's bansey. All of them I tried smooth, like some notes, they're trying to come out like a sour melon kind of note.

No, I didn't get that. I didn't get that skip. I didn't get that yet. But I'm searching for it. So I'm about halfway at this point, and I'm still searching for Bobby Fisher, so to speak. Nothing yet. Um yeah, not even feeling any physical effects like on my face, nose, eyeballs, nothing.

So I feel like a slight my face, I feel it. And the eyes, like a little slow, something going on there.

That falls under the threshold of a working theory here that when it at least for us, when it's that type of percentage, it doesn't feel strong. It doesn't come on strong.

Yeah, it might, but that is that the the strain or is that us? Yeah, that I hope that's the working theory, you know. And that's why we always say we are very experienced marijuana users, and always warn you that if you're not an experienced marijuana user and you're listening to this podcast, you might want to scale down your intake because we are very experienced marijuana users.

But it doesn't seem to be the case here. This weed is uh the highest is is there, it's just light.

And then they say it's uh a cross between Khalifa Kush and the menthol. Every site I looked up, they mention the menthol. Right, not just menthol. The menthol. Like that's a strain.

Yeah. And I feel something, but I mean, I'm halfway with other varietals, and I'm already flying here. I'm still pedaling.

I have about a third left, and yeah, I'm still looking for it. I st I I can understand what Skip is saying. There is a mild, kind of uplifted kind of feeling. It's very mild. Uh, but yeah, that's not considered high to me. Yeah, I can get that from a CBD uh gummy or something like that. So yeah, but it is true though. It's funny, but it's true. So we gotta do better. Okay, so we're look hoping that this last third brings us to a higher level. I wonder if the the fact that the turp profile was was uh not strong. Is that affecting the high? Is that affecting the high for us? It could be.

I mean, they mentioned the three, you know, the three kings, mercine, pinene, caryophylline. I get it. I get the caryophylline and the throttle little there. And the slight relaxation, I guess, is the mercy and working. Do you feel talkative? At times, you know, I could aroused uh nope, focused.

Yeah, I'm not feeling talkative or aroused. I mean, I'm glad I'm not feeling aroused and I'm not feeling focused. So yeah. So far for me, not the best experience so far. And I have some experience with Bansy products, so I'm a little surprised. Yeah, this one's underperforming, and I really wanted this one to work. It's called Baby Yoda. I think it's a cool name. Grogu. Uh you know, it looked very pretty out of the package. I love the fact that it broke big. Now I'm starting to wonder if I was just supposed to roll something fatter, you know, and that's how that's why it broke so big. Yeah. Like newbie weed. Yeah. That's a great way to put it. Did I feel like I smoked something? Sure. Sure, but tastes great, looks great, broke great, package great. But the two important things, which is turp profile and am I high and how high I am, comprise 65% of the rating. The other 35% of my rating in my mind, at least, is look, you know, break, smell, you know, aesthetic qualities that it might have outside of the two major factors. Does it have strong turbs? Does it get you high?

Right. So in this case, so far at least, it's like it got the 35%. It's beautiful, nice and frosty, beautiful look, beautiful when it came out the package. It was very supple, but the 65%, so you can't pass without the 65%. Right. And the first warning was the very weak turp profile. And then now it's like, like I said, I'm searching for it. I feel something. The skip is right. I do feel something. Am I high? Hmm. See, the the crazy thing is, is that usually at this point of the game, when I'm like down to less than a third of the J, I'm not usually trying to ask myself if I'm high. Right. I'm usually trying to ask myself, am I smacked? Yeah. Yeah. And that's a big problem, Bansy. I gotta say. This is not the question I should be asking myself at the end of my smoke. I think that if you like grabba, but you don't like strong herb, yeah. This is probably for you. It tastes like tobacco, even though it doesn't have any tobacco, so you know grabbo. And it's not strong. So this might be something more up your alley if that's like your stick. Right.

Okay, so I am in my just finished segment. And am I high? There's something there. Makes my head feel a little off. But am I high? Do I feel talkative? Well, not more than usual, but I'm a chatty person. Do I feel aroused? No, I do not. Uh focus? No. Or I guess, yeah, I guess just as focused as normal. Um like I said earlier, it feels like a grabba joint. I did not feel any I had to question if I was high, not if I was smacked. No physical effects at this point. And I'm searching for the mental effects. But that's where I'm at. So I don't know if this is gonna improve in an hour. Right. Uh, but I guess we're gonna find out.

So I guess that's my just finished. Yeah, and I have to agree, man. Low grade, high, just finished. Um slight pressure in the eye, and uh relaxation. I guess you can hear it in my voice patterns. But no high, no flying, none of that. Let's see how it goes. One hour later. See you in an hour.

Feels like I was high at some point, even though I wasn't high. You know, it's mostly remnants. That's what I'm feeling. Like a bit of a like hangover for weed, kind of a little bit, but no sign of a real high anywhere.

Okay, so whatever it was that you felt, can you remember where in the hour you lost it?

Hmm.

Um, it's hard to pinpoint, really. I mean, it just kept dissipating as the time kept going to the point of where I don't even feel it. The only thing I still feel are probably the eyelids are a bit heavy, but that's about it.

Okay, I can I can concur with a lot of that. I feel a general fogginess, but it can be like if you're tired from a long day or if you, you know, uh had a drink or something like that. It doesn't feel like I am high. I also have to concur with the fact that I don't think I really felt high at any of this. You know, it's like I said earlier. If I'm not asking myself, am I smacked? and I'm asking myself, am I high? That is a problem. Do I feel high now? I mean, if I do, please explain it to me because I am not seeing it. Right. You got anything to add to that, Skip? Yeah, it's not high. One hour later. And with that, we're gonna roll into the smack ometer. You ready for the smack emeter, Skip? Ready. Let's do it. Let's definitely feel like this.

Skip, give us your final thoughts. Yay, not high at all. One hour later. I mean, it is a lot to ask of anything you're ingesting, but it's not happening here, folks. And even when I was smoking it, I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere with it. So for that, I'll have to give it a four.

Brutal. Yeah. Okay, let's give it the final rundown. So love the name, love the idea. When we opened the package, it looked beautiful. Um it it was frosty, the buds were pretty, they were fluffy, they were supple. Uh when it broke up, it actually broke big, very big. So it was it was like an abundance, and it was hard to close the the J, and you know, and that felt nice. But the first warning sign that we felt started when we were inspecting it when we opened the package. And the first warning sign was wow, this has a very weak tur profile. Um we it's kind of tobacco-ish. And you know, maybe. And that followed it all the way into the smoke. When we got to the smoke, my first pull was like pulling from a menthol cigarette. And it was like, all right. So, you know, I don't have a problem with uh a marijuana that's that has a flavor of tobacco. I've had some in the past, some are great, some are not. But, you know, that's the impression I got. As I smoked it, uh, it smoked very quickly, first of all. And yeah, it felt, as much as I hate to say it, it felt like I was smoking a cigarette. Uh, and then of course the one hour. The one hour finished it, felt this general feeling like I might be high. Um, and that carried me, I would say, no more than uh into the half hour. Once the half hour kicked in, yeah, it wasn't really going anywhere. So, and that's where we are now. So I really don't feel anything. A general sense of like maybe I was high, maybe I had the fuzziness. I don't know. But no, I'm not high, no, I'm not smacked. And we both know, Skip. In fact, we all know, right, good mates, that the eternal question is what? Are you high? And no, I'm not. And for that, I will give Baby Yoda by Banzi a 4.2. I mean, what else can we say, right? Just like we were saying earlier. You need that, the two things, you need terps and you need to get me high. If you can't do those two things, we got a problem.
