So it took a little bit more herbage to fill the blunt and the joint. Anything left over? Maybe for one more round. A little bit for one round.

See how that goes. As far as look, they were light greens, ambers, gold with brown hairs. Decent turp profile, earthy and piny with a little bit of sweet, but no pungent. Medium and large buds. Supple, but like Skip said, ending. Golden trichomes when you open them deep. And it was one thing I want to complain about. Very branchy. Yeah, a lot of stems there, man. Yeah, that's not good. Yeah. I think we're ready for the smoke, Skip. We're ready. Let's do it. As I usually do without lighting it yet. And I'm getting piney and sweet.

I was trying to, I got the sweet, but the piney was like, what is that? It's like secondary. It's like piney, sweet, and then a touch of earthy. Like I am getting the earthy too, but it's very touchy. I'm what I'm not getting is the pungent. Yeah. But hey, let's see what happens when we light it. Strange to say, but first pull had like a taste of popcorn. And a taste of popcorn in there. That was a deep pull, Skip. Oh, yeah, man. It went down the wrong way. Strong opening, of course. Highest turp is caryophylline. I'm not getting a strong turp profile while smoking. It's really just sweet and piny. And it's burning pretty quick. I'm already at my first third.

Um, yeah, spider senses are tingling. Feel a little bit of a heaviness in my uh forehead inside my frontal lobe. So today I'm looking through various things and I saw an advertisement. Well, no, I don't think it was an advertisement. I think it was more like a commemorative. And it was talking about high times. Oh, yeah. Do you remember high times?

Are they still around? Possibly. They would have to be. I wouldn't see why not.

Yeah. It's true though, that at least here on the East Coast, they used to be a mainstay. And now that uh that uh marijuana is legal in the state of New York, there's not much you hear of High Times, which is ironic.

Well, it's actually looks like it's a magazine, an online magazine now. Okay, which is pretty interesting. A weekly digital zine. And it looks like they are selling issues, print issues. Okay, they just relaunched in 2026.

Well, it's nice to see that High Times is still thriving. So far, it's a easy smoke. I mean, uh uh aside from the caryophylline and the you know, little coughing fits here and there, um, not a strong taste, very sweet, and a little bit of pine. Um we can, you know, with when it comes to uh back home, we've been we've been getting into the conversations of is this the original strain? Right. And that's something that we've been like looking into. And then the other question we've been asking in these past few podcasts is can you name your herb anything you want? Or is there some rules to follow when you're naming herb? And we don't know, honestly, we don't know. And a court, I'm looking at the COA right now, and yeah, caryophylline is the main one, so that they have right, but then it says limanine and humilene is next here, and pinene. So it has the pinene, right? And it has the well, no, actually, this one says there is no pinene, it's mersine and lemonine. So it has the caryophylline, it has the lemonine, but what it does not have is the mercine.

It's saying not even less than 1% of mercine, which is believable if it's an indeed the dominant variety.

So it's humilene replaced the mercine. Humilene and lemonine, well, no, limonine was there, caryophylline was there. It was pinene and humilene that replaced the mercine in this strain. That makes sense. Okay. Which is interesting. And again, the question raises, you know, can you just name herb anything you want?

Yeah. And then, you know, the latent repercussions of that, which are not, you know, evident in the uh idea or the marketing, but then we're just putting names on things as they happen.

Yeah, and that's gonna, you know, that'll really fudge up like the market because then you don't know what you're getting no matter what you buy.

I mean, you can even argue to say that it's kind of already happening in in various uh markets of marijuana. As you know, dispensary isn't the only one. There's uh in New York City and maybe a part all over the country, there's these uh spray packs and things of that that you can get in the streets or in certain grocery stores. And they're not sanctioned, they're not legal, but they're out there.

And those that I've experienced, some of them, they are the names are just like you know, whatever. It's purple love and it tastes like grape, you know, things like that.

And then you said happy. Correct. Happy? Not more than usual. The other one it said was hungry. And yeah, I'm not hungry. But yeah, I ate before I uh got here, so I don't know. Maybe that has something to do with it. Uh some of these effects.

But yeah, relax sounds about right. Uh, I'm not sleepy. And you can argue I'm a little happy, I guess. Yeah, okay. I'll agree with you in that one, Skip.

Um as far as effects feels, uh, yeah, starting to feel a little bit of a high. It's really part into it's really in the part of my frontal lobe area, my nasal cavity, tip of my nose. That's where I'm feeling it most of all. You know. Uh, as far as body effects, wow, feel nothing in the body. Looks like this one's good for medicinal purposes. Feel like really loosey-goosey in my body, except for like a little kink on my shoulder. Um, but yeah, it looks like it's okay for that. So it's now slowing down. Now that I passed the halfway mark, the poles are getting slower. It's not burning as quickly. Uh, which you know sometimes happens when you uh roll the the higher part, the part you're not smoking from, a little looser than the back part, the back end. Um still a decent smoke. Uh, I'm the the choking aspect of it, the karyophylline peppery aspect has kind of receded a little bit for me. How about you, Skep? Yeah, I would say the same. Yeah, and so you know, I don't feel it as much. Nice strong clouds. Wow, I just said the choking factor has ended, and here I am choking. You're a hypocrite. So this looks like it was packed four months ago. You would think that for four months it would, you know, it would be more supple. Right. Uh oh, here we go again with the mylar bags. Uh-oh. Yeah, we're gonna open up that can of worms, too. We already're rehashing some old grievances in this episode of Gigglins Highland.

Uh, we already started the grievance of the names. Now we're working into the grievance of the mylar bag. Personally, we think that um, you know, the mylar bag has a lot of potential for leakage. Yeah, but you know, it's it's a not imperfect uh storage. Just and you know, bottles are imperfect too. It's I don't think we there is a perfect medium, yeah, right? Unless you're willing to pay a lot of money to have it storage. Exactly. And you know, these companies are gonna package it the cheapest way. So in this package, we had about three strong branches, very strong branches. Literally, every large bud had a large branch, and it wasn't that the branch was inside the bud, because when that happens, you understand it was like sticking out of the bud and like extended out of the bud. Like, why are you uh putting that in there? Yeah, we need to eliminate that because that's what uh that's a half a gram right there. Yeah, that's weight, you know? So you're selling me short, you're selling me out back home. So you gotta uh do better with the cutting. Man, we are on grievance mode today. Grievance, grievance, grievance. When have you seen us like that in Gigalin High? One of those days we want to fight the power. Yeah, stick it to the man. You know, listen, full disclosure, there have been many times I have bought something and I left it in the mylar bag. Like, yeah, so I'm just as guilty as anyone else. But you know, you're aware to be aware of what you're doing, you know, then you go in with both with both eyes open and you, you know, you do what you do. You know, you can't be ignorant about that. These these mediums of transport to you, to your joint or your blunt or your pipe or your bong or your apple or whatever you use to smoke, these mediums that transport this to you, you know, they're they're all imperfect. I have remembered some instances where I'm coming to a spot and they're trying to give it to me in a piece of aluminum foil. You're like, what the hell? Like, what kind of Mickey Mouse operation is this? And they're like, Yeah, ran out of bags, man. Sorry. And you're like, okay. So, you know, I guess it's I guess it is an leap forward, yeah. Right. We're just being uh having high class problems here with the bagging of our marijuana. So I'm in the last third, and as you guys can see, it it it's kind of it definitely relaxed, not sleepy, not hungry, uh happy a little bit. Um very introspective.

Right? And ready to like uh say something about something. This is good, I guess. Yeah, this is good for you to smoke and then go to City Hall and fight something. Yes, let's go City Hall. Right? I will say, uh, the turp profile has been prominent into the last third. I'm even still getting a little bit of sweet. Yeah, it's pretty impressive. Um yeah, hasn't broken, it hasn't broken yet. As far as the high. Uh yeah, feeling it in the eyeballs, feeling it in the brain. It's funny because it's a it's a dense high, it's heavy. Like you feel it in the front of your, you feel it in the front, right? And in front of your forehead, and it's like a heavy feeling. Yeah. Um like I said, feeling nothing as far as body-wise. Uh it looks like that kink in my shoulder's gone. Um, definitely high. Uh and you know, grasping for words while being thoughtful. That's kind of the vibe. You can be a conversationalist, it definitely works, but it's not gonna be like you're gonna be social. So it's probably more uh suited for you know, small groups hanging out with close peeps. That's the way to do it with this one. It's not a big party thing. And you know, as an indika, it does say sleepy at some point. And that, you know, a lot of times when they say sleepy, you're getting the sleepy and the come down.

And that's happened to me before too. So you know, we're gonna have to figure that out. If you got did you get sleepy?

Like, you know, on the calm down? Well, that is a common, you know, conception or misconception of uh indeed the dominant constraint.

Yeah, that's gonna put you to sleep. And don't get me wrong, I like when you know what it puts me to sleep. So nicely. Would you argue that it is difficult to fall asleep when you smoke a sativa? No.

So you you already, since you're very experienced as a user, the lines between night and day strains like has blurred for you.

Yeah, at this point, yeah. There was a time where I was picking different strains for this and for that and for what have you. Kind of like a little medicine cabinet, which is nice too. But in the end, you know, it does, you know, you'll reach in and grab whatever at the end of the day. Because the eternal question looms.

Are you high? Well, you know, I I'm gonna I'm gonna push back on that a little bit. I have had highs in my life where I've been like, I don't like this high. I want it to end. Like I've actually had that before. Or like you smoke another a different strain to like try to knock that one off the pedestal. Yeah. And yeah, that has happened to me before. I'm like, I don't like this high, I don't like this one. And you avoid that like the plate. Most of the time, in the vast majority, it is like, yeah, okay, I'm high, and you just keep it moving, right? Right. That's that, even though that has happened, it's a rare occurrence. Let's see, I'm trying to remember the last time I felt that way. And I was like, ew, I'm not smoking this. This is gross. I think it did happen to me like a couple of years ago. Yeah, there was a lot. Yeah, there's quite a few there. Usually the reason you won't smoke something again is because it doesn't get you high.

And I'm rolling into my just finished there. Right behind this kit. And uh yes, uh Gorilla Glue. It's what to do. It's uh decent smoke. Um, and the high is nice. It's not a strong high, but it's there. It's not the bubble feeling, and it's nice. It has a little bit of direction, not much magnetism in the as far as the conversation.

It feels like I don't know why this came to my head. It might just be high talk, but it feels like it's perfect for a movie matinee.

It's like uh it's not a night thing, you don't want to fall asleep in it, at least in this point. But yeah, you know, you feel nice, relaxed. It's like a warm blanket. There you go. It's like a warm blanket kind of feeling over here. Yeah, you know, that's the kind of high that I'm getting out of it. And like Skip said, it's not smacked level, but yeah, it's a nice high. Um, wow. Okay, last polls, it finally started to lose the the profile. Like finally, but this that's to be expected. I mean, we're close to the nub. So still not a terrible smoke, of course. Now the caryophyllin is hitting strong. So last polls are very, very this is the kind of weed that like if you can get a good comedy movie, you would really enjoy yourself. Probably lately, we've run into a string of strains. My favorite effect is giggly. That's my favorite effect. Like, if I can get something that's has me laughing over nothing, just you know, openly laughing all the time, that's a strain I want, you know, and I will have that strain as much as I can. I love that part of you know, pot smoking when it has you all giggly. And the last few that we have tried that has described that effect. Yeah, no, it hasn't happened. And, you know, such a disappointment, such a disappointment, right? So enough digression though. We got about one more pull here. Let's make it count. All right, so that's my just finished. And, you know, like I said, heavy dance high. Uh, you know, movie matinee kind of hang out in the library in the evening. Well, it's getting a little dark outside, kind of feeling. Uh, you know, but you're not, you see, I said library, you know, not nightclub. That's the kind of feeling. You just want to kind of chill out a little bit. Feels good. So let's see how it feels in an hour. See you guys in an hour. Definitely.

And we're back one hour later. So how did it go, Skiff? Well, one hour later, I don't feel it as much. The high meaning, but the residual effects of it, yes. You know, the latent effects of an intense high. And it's still there. Sometimes like a bit of the ear ringing or a bit of uh leftover eye pressure. But the high, no. And I had some things to do between that time and probably took away some of that uh spirit, if you will. But um, yeah, I still feel the after effects.

Uh I can say as the hour wore along, yes, the come down kind of has a little sleepiness to it. Uh, and you will feel that like at the back half of the of the hour. Um, other than that, yeah, it's pretty much over. Uh, you know, it's you get the residuals, of course. Uh, but it's pretty much over, yeah. I can say that too. Uh it's not like you know, residuals that you can coast on. Yeah. Yeah, that's not happening. It's a bit sudden there though. And and I didn't feel like I personally didn't feel like it was sudden. I just felt like it was final though. Yeah. So yeah, I think we're ready for the smack a meter. We're ready. Let's do it. Let's do it. Definitely feel like this.

Well, okay, let's do the rundown. So, opened the package, had some uh light green, amber gold buds with brown hairs, had an earthy, piny, sweet smelling turp profile, but was very mild. The buds looked nice, they were like medium-sized and large. The only thing was they were tiny bit crunchy. Yeah, uh, golden trichomes when you opened it up, look very pretty. One big negative, very branchy. Oh, yeah. And you know, that takes weight away. Get a better cutter. Uh okay, the smoking experience. Uh, you know, various points it was a choker, various points it was smooth. Um, the earthy was gone, it became more sweet and pine. We never got pungent. As far as the effects, relaxed, yes. Sleepy at the back end, yeah. I could actually say it happened. Hungry. Mm-mm.

And happy, we said was happening in the beginning. Yeah, we were feeling a little euphoric. Uh the high itself or the hour, yeah, it was a pretty decent high. Um, when it, you know, when it when the J was put out, had a good high going on there. I could say the first half an hour was pretty straightforward, but at one point I started to feel a little bit of the taper. And by the hour, it was pretty much capooed. Okay. Yeah. And, you know, I guess with all of that in mind, you know, it's it's a classic, classic high. Uh, but it definitely did not make it to the finish line. And so with that, I'm going to give this a 6.7. Okay.

What do you think, Skip? Like-minded. Um, but uh, yeah, I'm saying I'm a lot, just looking for words here. Yeah. It was uh uh an enjoyable experience, as Gorilla Glue tends to be, you know, as far as taming those Indica spikes and stuff. The balance is nice. A total diff a nice smoke. Here, a bit dry, perhaps. You know, if it were a bit more supple, maybe the experience would would be heightened. But I enjoyed the experience. Only thing is that the high kind of tapered off. And really, that's asking for a lot for weed, really, you know, to last a whole hour. And I don't think so. Yeah. I mean, hey, in the current state, you know what I'm saying? But I I would definitely agree with you because yes, why not? You know, if if produce can stay fresh in your fridge, why can't we find a way to keep weed fresh? But I'm digressing here. Good smoke. For that, I'm going to give it a 7.2. Okay. A little wide of disparity there, but not too bad.
