SPEAKER_05

This is actually the last episode before we leave for our wedding.

SPEAKER_02

Dun dun dun.

SPEAKER_05

This is a funny story. I'm bringing fireworks.

SPEAKER_02

I wanted to talk about this. I wanted to see what they thought. We do have an update on our very first Starcross match, uh, Genevieve and Jordan. I want to talk about somehow. Let's talk about the reunion.

SPEAKER_05

I just feel like they weren't all there. Like, I feel like their reactions were a little delayed.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, are they just on a whole lot of Xanax? Like, because I agree. We do have some questions from you guys.

SPEAKER_05

I normally don't do online dating, so any suggestions? Actually, I have a couple for you. More that you don't care, the more that they care. Am I right or am I wrong?

SPEAKER_02

You're right, honey.

SPEAKER_05

I love you, but this is he said he said. So what does he say? He said what?

SPEAKER_00

No way she said that.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god!

SPEAKER_00

We're back.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Hey everyone, I'm Gianina.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm Blake.

SPEAKER_05

And welcome to another episode of He Said G Said. We are in our Denver studio once again.

SPEAKER_02

Back in Denver.

SPEAKER_05

And uh this is actually the last episode before we leave for our wedding.

SPEAKER_02

Dun dun dun. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

I know. I'm uh used to traveling like crazy, but this just feels different because I'm preparing for it a little bit more, but we'll get into that. Uh, we just want to say thank you so much for all of the support and the love and the great feedback and the comments and the shares. It's just been so lovely. So uh please remember to subscribe if you want to keep seeing some of this lovely chats and Starcross episodes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Thanks again, guys. Be sure to subscribe because uh yeah, gotta hit that subscribe button. Get those YouTube subscribers up. If you like watching it, obviously subscribe.

SPEAKER_05

Um just say subscribe. Take a shot.

SPEAKER_02

Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe, subscribe, sub. But yes, wedding prep. Uh this is literally our last podcast that we're filming before the wedding. Uh I think we're in a good place. Do you think we're in a good place as far as like planning and packing and everything?

SPEAKER_05

Um, I'm uh I'm just gonna preface this by saying that I am purposely keeping him in the dark about a couple things.

SPEAKER_02

It's really pissed me off. I'll be honest. It's uh I thought it'd be fun. Oh, I'll just show up. But no, I'm I'm stressed because I don't know everything, which is weird. I don't know if other couples out there have been like that, but like she's she's like, I want to surprise you with some things. And I'm like, that's fine. I got surprises, some surprises for her too.

SPEAKER_05

You didn't, yeah, of course. What?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, this is news.

SPEAKER_05

Freaking news. Okay, good. I love surprises.

SPEAKER_02

I got a couple surprises for you for sure. Thank you. Um, but yeah, like I didn't even know where the rehearsal was. Well, not the rehearsal, though. No, the welcome party.

SPEAKER_05

Well, that's also because that happened last minute.

SPEAKER_02

So basically Do we want to reveal where we're getting married yet or no? No. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Uh it's super iconic. The locations are so iconic, and I didn't know what I was able to be able to pull off because it is destination, because it is so iconic. So I and I'm I'm very much, if you guys couldn't tell, um, I'm very much like a last minute type of person. I my all my best ideas come under pressure. So I thought of a couple fun things last minute.

SPEAKER_03

Oh boy.

SPEAKER_05

And we were able to pull them off. Um, and I just thought it would be fun to keep him, keep it a secret. Because I just don't want to stress you out. If I'm like, oh, by the way, last minute I booked this, this, this, and this, you're gonna be like it would stress me out a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

That's true, that's true, that's true.

SPEAKER_05

And then I just shh.

SPEAKER_02

How much money did it cost?

SPEAKER_05

It's a great deal. Okay, great deals. Um, I I'm I'm people are being great and I'm being savvy. Uh, and it's just gonna be great. And I just I'm trying to enhance it a little bit more, just enhance like the experience, which wait, I wanna oh go ahead. I think, yeah, I think I've I'm pulling it off.

SPEAKER_02

Good.

SPEAKER_05

But uh, am I in a good place? Are we in a good place? I mean, we packed you last night.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like 90% back, 95% back, okay.

SPEAKER_05

His outfits are fire. Um, he looks super handsome, a super chic, a super. You're a reach, yeah. Super reach. Rich reach. Um, and I picked up my dresses.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, she's got all her dresses, which is there's five. Good. I picked up my tux, it fits, everything's great. So, like the the big parts, the big things, the important things, we're good. Yeah, I feel good.

SPEAKER_05

The wedding is paid off. Like, set the last check in the other day. So that's super exciting. Um, but like there are things that are in the mail that are I'm waiting for, like my wedding earrings and Keith's clothes, and like all this stuff that I'm literally just like checking, tracking on every five minutes. So that's kind of stressing me out. And also, this is a funny story. I'm bringing fireworks.

SPEAKER_02

I wanted to talk about this. I wanted I wanted to see what they thought. I wanted to see what they thought.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, if you're coming back from Switzerland, are you not gonna bring a cube of cheese?

SPEAKER_02

This is very different.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, but this is where my mind is going. Okay, it is illegal to bring dairy internationally.

SPEAKER_02

Or food. Or food.

SPEAKER_05

I've noticed that sometimes a sandwich will come through security, and I'm like, oh great, this sandwich is from like Europe. Delicious. I'll eat it, you know, when I land. So sometimes I like to bring in like cheese and like olive oil in the check bag and things like that. So my mind is going to, oh, I can I can bring the fireworks. Obviously, why not? Why couldn't I bring them? And turns out they're legally explosives.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was I was literally like, gee, you can't put fireworks in check bags because for multiple reasons. But the funniest part was she was gonna give it to a friend of ours.

SPEAKER_05

Well, again, my thought process is they got shipped to me. Why can't I just reship them essentially?

SPEAKER_02

Commercial plane, though.

SPEAKER_05

Different commercial plane, the whole thing.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, it's literally wildly illegal. You can get arrested, you get fined insane, and the uh dogs sniffing dogs, bomb sniffing dogs can sniff out fireworks. So we will be shipping the fireworks ahead of time, which we need to do today.

SPEAKER_05

We need to do today, but the last time I checked, UPS, sorry, if you're ever gonna sponsor us, it's like 2K per per box, like this big. So I'm gonna try to like go DHL. I don't know. This is these are the things that I have to do, and then I'm gone all day just doing errands, picking things up, doing fittings, prep, working out, facial nails, I mean, this is this is part of it. This is I'm not complaining, you know, first world props. It's just a lot to do within this time frame. Um and and and getting to talk to you guys in between.

SPEAKER_02

But overall, like I know it's gonna hit me. I know I'm gonna get nervous. You want to know why I know I'm gonna get nervous? Because I didn't think I was gonna get nervous when I proposed, but then the time, the day came, the hour came, and I was so nervous. So nervous. I don't know why. I knew she was gonna say yes, but I was so nervous. So I know right now I'm not nervous, but I know the day of, the morning of, I for no reason, right? Like I know everything's gonna go great. I know she's gonna say I do, but like I'm I know I will be so nervous the day of. Do you think you'll be nervous?

SPEAKER_05

100%.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Uh just because it's been, like I said, like it's I found my dress in December 2024.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_05

I have been we have, yeah. I found it immediately. You proposed October 2024, and then I found my dress like unexpectedly two months later. So there this has been there's been so much preparation for just well, it's kind of like a week now, but for the one day, you know, and it's not that to say that like I I want things to go perfect and all, no, it's just like you've been anticipating this, you know. And so I I had um, I've been having really vivid dreams.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_05

Mm-hmm. And so like so far, I've only made it to the first leg of the trip in my dreams. Does that make sense?

SPEAKER_02

Is that a good omen or a bad omen?

SPEAKER_05

Well, no, it's good, but I'm just saying, like in picturing myself in it. Oh, you've only gotten to that point. Yeah, I've only gotten to that point. I don't know if I'll make it to the wedding day yet. Uh, but no, it's been it's been really exciting just because now people are reaching out and saying, like, what do I wear? I'm so excited. I'm packing down. And I'm like, everything's on the website that I spent two weeks making and no one will read it. It is what it is, but I'm excited to marry you.

SPEAKER_02

I'm excited to marry you too, babe. I'm super excited. I'm gonna be a mess. I'm gonna cry the entire week. Am I already gonna tear out? The whole week I'm gonna cry. It'll be it's gonna be great. It's gonna be so much fun.

SPEAKER_05

Why are you gonna cry? Anyway, anyway, moving on. Why are you gonna cry?

SPEAKER_02

Because it's it's amazing. It's gonna be such a fun week, and we have everybody we love coming to celebrate our love and stuff. It's cool.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, moving on.

SPEAKER_05

I want to see it's here.

SPEAKER_02

Moving on, moving on. Uh speaking of, you said there are gonna be some guests have already started reaching out and stuff. And a couple of our guests are our star crossed matches. So we're gonna have to get an update on one of them. But we do have an update on our very first Starcross match, uh, Genevieve and Jordan. Uh, if you guys remember that was actually the first Starcross we did with uh what's the reality?

SPEAKER_03

Our pilot.

SPEAKER_02

Our pilot, more or less. Yeah. Um, but we caught up with them and uh they're friends. We'll put it that way.

SPEAKER_05

They are not long-lost lovers, yeah, but they are they found a friendship.

SPEAKER_02

They found a good friendship, and they they said they had so much fun, and they were, they were like, they were a good match, they said. But the problem, obviously, which I think we might run into down the line, is different cities. Uh, obviously, Jordan being here in Denver, Genevieve in LA, but the biggest thing is Jordan has a kid here in Denver. So he can't just pop over. Yeah, not like they can just jet over to each other, you know, you know, spontaneously, if you will. So they said that obviously that kind of yeah, yeah, made things a little difficult, which we understood.

SPEAKER_05

Right. Because I don't really necessarily believe in the long distance hardship out of it all. I've been in long distance relationships kind of like my whole life. Um, technically we were long distance, and but I didn't have a kid, so I could just like pop on over here and like see you whenever and like go on your tours and like all this stuff. So I can see where that was the the the hard part, but distance ain't nothing. Yeah, if it's the right person in the space. Especially because, sorry, not to cut you off, but especially because we are all are all in the same line of work, right? One way or another. And there is a lot of weird flexibility when it comes to that. There's a lot of restraint because you have your hard dates and things like that, and maybe they do have like a nine to five and all that. But I feel like in this entertainment industry, that schedule you can kind of work from anywhere.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, spring of ring light. Okay, no, I agree. I think I think if yeah, situations are a little different as far as like him having a kid and everything, yeah. It might have worked.

SPEAKER_05

But uh but they had fun and she didn't he didn't ghost her.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, she was like, they're friends now. They're she they're literally like we're friends now, like we talk, we text, things like that. So, which is really cool. We love that. So, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So success. A win is a win. Success.

SPEAKER_02

But um, Raven will be at our wedding. Yes, she will be at our wedding, so we're gonna catch up with her, get a little bit of a find out how uh her and Justin are doing or how it how it panned out. Uh so we're excited about that. Um, and uh yeah, if you guys have any other matches, obviously, you know, we just had Jesse and Weston. Um, we're giving you an update down the line of them too, uh, which we were so much fun to film. I don't know if you guys should see it through the camera, but it was so much fun the energy recording that and filming the energy. It was it was great. So we're excited. I'm excited to talk to them uh and see how they are, see where they're at.

SPEAKER_05

I'm excited to just keep matching.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's so fun. It's so much fun. We have so much fun on those episodes.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like, weirdly enough, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like while we're doing it, we see them discovering things about themselves that they were just like, oh, like possibly, you know, actually you're right about that. Actually, this is something that I kind of want to lean more towards. So it's really interesting, kind of seeing like those light bulbs go off in real time.

SPEAKER_02

No, it is really fun. It's I it's I love my job, so it's been really fun. But yeah, if you guys have any matches you can think of, let us know. And if you have anybody, we see keep seeing two names pop up a lot. Jess, of course, Jess Vestal, and Susie. Those two names are popping up a ton. Uh, but if you have any others, let us know. Uh, we really enjoy match matching, and it's it's been really fun.

SPEAKER_05

And those are my girls. So the men have to be top tier. So give me just like a plus men. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I agree, I agree. Maybe uh, maybe some people from Summerhouse or some uh No, that is not A plus men.

SPEAKER_05

That's not a plus man.

SPEAKER_02

Let's get into Summer House. I want to talk about Summerhouse. Oh god, because it's it's everywhere. I feel like it is everywhere. I can't open Instagram, I can't even like it's it's everywhere. It's not, I don't feel like it. Do you think it's as big as like Scandal?

SPEAKER_05

No, they're trying to make it as big as Scandal. I would agree, they're trying. I don't think it's as big as Scandal. I don't think it's the same same level of shock and awe.

SPEAKER_02

It's I just I think for Summerhouse fans. For Summerhouse fans, but I think for the person who's just now learning of Summerhouse, it may not shock them as much. Where say Sandoval was people who didn't watch Vanderpump were like, wait a minute, like time putting everything together and it was crazy.

SPEAKER_05

Well, because I think what obviously is the big different differentiator is they lived together, they were together for 10 years, committed. That's like a civil union. If you're forget together for that long, I feel like you're legally married. I don't know about the state of California, but in a lot of states there are, uh like Colorado, for example. And also, they Rachel, I call her Rachel now. Raquel. I think she's Rachel. And yeah, she's Rachel, but back then she was Raquel. Raquel and Sandoval were actively hooking up while he was still with Ariana.

SPEAKER_02

Like, and the way it found out with the video, she's the video popped up on the phone. The video popped up on the phone. Oh yeah, it was a phone.

SPEAKER_05

While he was like playing on the concert.

SPEAKER_02

So I feel like that was just so but this this is a big deal, though. The Summer House thing is crazy, especially if you're a fan of the show and you've been watching the relationships with Amanda and Kyle and Sierra and West, and the way Sierra had Amanda's back during the divorce, and like the way she was like all about that, and then it's it's it is a lot. And my thoughts, my thoughts on the whole thing, obviously, it's hard. I think I'm not maybe I shouldn't be surprised again. I'm not this huge Summer House fan. I've watched episodes, I know of them, I've met most of them. Um, but I guess Sierra, um, I didn't realize Sierra and West were kind of still like flirting and canoodling, and I think there was some like yes, and I think there was still something I didn't really realize that at the time. So that obviously I completely understand why Sierra's mad at Amanda. That feels like like you talked about female friendships. Sometimes that breakup, that betrayal is worse. No, 100% is worse than heartbreak with like your romantic partner. Yeah. Because you've you've gone through a couple of those.

SPEAKER_05

And it just hits a different part of like your heart. Because that's like that's someone that you consider a sister. I was just gonna say that, yeah. Someone that you consider a sister, someone that you can feel can consider like your closest confidant, especially how they are in this very, very small world, right, of reality. And then you you feel really lonely in it sometimes. And then you have someone that you can kind of go through that with and and just really like have like the sisterhood and and it it hurts once so much worse, in my opinion, a friend breakup than a relationship breakup. Uh just because it's just a different level of just trust, I guess. Maybe no, because I trust you like so wholeheartedly, but but you just you kind of like you you kind of not expect some like your partner, your boyfriend, your husband, your girlfriend to break your heart, but you know that that's a possibility. You don't really ever expect your closest girlfriend to break your heart. You think that that's like just your ride or die, be bridesmaids, have babies, like go through this whole like circle of life together because that is your girl. So I can totally, totally see why Sierra is so upset and the betrayal 100%. Because like I've had friends that didn't want to be friends with me, they wanted to be friends with my ex instead. And that to me, I'm like the now imagine them hooking up, and now imagine them hooking up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's so true.

SPEAKER_05

Like while we we probably like were holding hands the other night. Oh man, that's so true. So that I completely understand it. I'm so confused about the whole like Kyle, Amanda. Well, no, because I know that he's protecting her.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, he yeah, he obviously there's still deep love there, 10 years together. Yeah, it is interesting the way he's reacted. It's actually interesting the way the audience hasn't really I mean, maybe not because that you know, he wasn't exactly the best partner, right? And vice versa. So maybe the way the audience is reacting to Kyle is fair, but I feel like he hasn't gotten as much love as Sierra. You know what I mean? I feel like people don't really feel quite as well.

SPEAKER_05

I don't know. I saw on Trading Secrets that apparently Loverboy got saved. That's true.

SPEAKER_02

Loverboy blew up, he's he's his DJ shows are selling out.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, but as far as like I think have you been surprised with how much he's kind of protected, I mean not protected or necessarily, but he's I feel like he has not his neck is or his foot is not on her neck like Sierra's. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

No, and I'll Westy know I feel like he's not going after Wells like that.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, yeah, I like that.

SPEAKER_05

I respect that. I think that there's a lot of things that are happening behind closed doors. I feel like uh West, as her current boyfriend, should be doing that even more because they're kind of going through the fire together, right? Like Sierra and Kyle, they're like they're on the safe zone. West and Amanda, they're both like being raked through the coal. So you I would expect him to be sticking his neck out a little bit more for her, just for it to be West. Um well, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, at the reunion, let's talk about the reunion because like the moment where she stormed off crying and he kind of just sat there because he didn't want them to talk shit about him behind his back. Like you don't weird, selfish reason to not go run after your girlfriend.

SPEAKER_05

Right. Like who gets these people are shitting on you.

SPEAKER_02

No matter what in front of you, behind you, right, side of you, like top down, underbound, like every single angle.

SPEAKER_05

So who cares? Like, go after your girl.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that was hard to watch.

SPEAKER_05

And I just feel like they weren't all there. Like, I feel like their reactions were a little delayed.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, are they just on a whole lot of Xanax? Like, because I agree. Like, I feel like it's just like there's no maybe they're just so numb to it at this point because they've just been getting beat up for months, but they don't seem to be much guilt there, much regret, even I would say.

SPEAKER_05

I think what's happening, honestly, I think what's happening is I feel like Amanda already paid her dues as far as like reaching out to Cass, texting them, the whole thing. She's probably, you know, knocked on their doors, probably uh phone calls. I feel like she's already done that, but what she doesn't understand is that we haven't seen that. And like we can pull up the receipts all day, every day, but so can Sierra about how she texted you and you didn't text her back. So, like, I feel like if she were over it, just suck it up for like five more minutes and and and do pay your dues on camera because that's kind of you know so cheaper.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a good way, great way to look at it.

SPEAKER_05

I think she's over it. I think he's over it. I think they're at the mutual understanding of like, well, we've done what we could do.

SPEAKER_02

We apologize to the people you want, but yeah, I see what you're saying. The audience isn't seeing some of that a lot of that.

SPEAKER_05

That's very and I think because the city was filming at the same time.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe we'll see someone.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like she's already done it on camera, but that's the city audience that doesn't even exist yet, right? Do it on your summer house audience. I just feel like there's a little disconnect here.

SPEAKER_02

That's so true. You also said the word receipts, and I want to get into the fact that Sierra's out there reading text messages right on the reunion, right off her phone, and I got burned alive for it. I know he loved seven years ago, six years ago.

SPEAKER_05

I know.

SPEAKER_02

No, I it's like I just think it's funny. I think we're obviously in a different place as like a reality TV society, or like yeah. So like I just think I just thought that was hilarious because I remember there was a moment where Chris Harrison we were it was it was filming, and Chris Harrison looked at me and was like, We're not gonna read the text messages. And I'm like, Well, I didn't expect you to, but then Sierra was literally like, Maybe, maybe I should have brought my phone and been like, Well, you know what I mean? Like, it's wild, right? It's just wild, and it's also Bravo. Bravo's a little bit different than ABC and The Bachelorette. And Andy is a little bit different than Chris Harrison. Yeah, but I Well it was just it's just a funny moment to me watching that. Like, wait, she's sitting there reading the text messages, and you know, it was just funny to me. I just, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, I'm just rolling my eyes over here. We had um a conversation with reality Steve, and he asked us, like, what do we think about Taylor Frankie Paul? And this will all make sense in a second. And I said it's a slap in the face to every lead to cast her because of the standards that they've had. Now, TFP thought that I was talking about her as far as standards. Okay, sure. But I'm honestly, I'm talking about not ABC. I'm talking about what's your what's the production company?

SPEAKER_04

N ZK.

SPEAKER_05

I'm talking about NZK. NZK having put not only their leads, but every single contestant through the ringer and not being able to talk about real conversations like receipts. Um just if they weren't perfect, they got slapped with a cease and desist every single time, multiple times.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, what she's what Taylor Faker Paul's doing on socials right now is bizarre.

SPEAKER_05

And so that is why I'm just like, it's a slap in the face to every lead because they had to be so perfect all the time. And they're completely contradicting that to the T. And so I don't think it's fair that they were, that they were held to such like an impossible standard and literally punished every single chance they got. And now when this is happening, I mean, I don't know what's going on behind closed doors with Taylor Frankie Paul and everything, but it doesn't seem like it's the same tune.

SPEAKER_02

Uh, but Sierra obviously is crushing it.

SPEAKER_05

100%.

SPEAKER_02

Her career has skyrocketed. I mean, we got Dancing with the Stars. Yeah. Officially. Uh, we got the Love Island After Sun show. She's everywhere. Um, what she just did like a huge spread, I saw. Oh, she hosted the Met Gala carpet. Gorgeous. What?

SPEAKER_05

Stunning.

SPEAKER_02

So like it's really, do you like I feel like it's like the Ariana Maddox effect, right? 100%. Um, which is it's from everything I've heard, Sierra's amazing. So, like, yeah, from everything I've heard, um, I've had some friends who know her really well in this sphere, and they speak very highly of her. I don't know anybody who hasn't spoken highly about her. So, like, I'm glad it's happening to her.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it's really cool when because you know, we know you kind of hear rumblings about like who's not such a great person, la la la, this whole thing. Hard to work with right, hard to work with. So it's super cool to see someone that is so deserving of it just receive all these blessings. And I can't wait to see what she's gonna do with it. I mean, just to see what Ariana has done in the past couple of years. Like, I I saw her her news spread, I think what magazine was it? She got into she got into the details and she was saying that people think that this was an overnight success, but it really has been like a decade of work.

SPEAKER_01

That's so true.

SPEAKER_05

And it just it's just now that people are catching on.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and it's when you put so much work in behind the scenes happens, and everybody thinks, we know, one hit wonder or one shot. You know, there was like took one second, but no, that's so true. There's so much work that puts into it. And yeah, it's great. I haven't actually had a chance to meet Ariana yet or see her.

SPEAKER_05

No, I would love to. I would love to see how she because we're pretty much in the same world. Hello. Uh, how she manages these crazy love island connections and relationships.

SPEAKER_02

I'll say Ariana, Sierra, either one of you, we'd love to have you on because yeah, I feel like it'd be great to pick your guys' brain and just what you guys have been up to. It's awesome to see. But uh, I want to ask you, where do you think Sierra goes on dancing with stars? What place? We're gonna have to come back to this when it when it airs. What do you think? I guess we don't have the full roster. We don't know who's all on it, so it's really hard to see. We don't know. I'm gonna say she makes the finals, which is the final four, which is the final episode.

SPEAKER_05

Final four.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna say she makes the final four.

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Obviously, a lot will depend on the other dancers, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

Well, because a lot of it is voting.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, but even I remember Gabby Wendy's season, it was what's her name? The TikTok star.

SPEAKER_05

Charlie D'Amelio.

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah, of course she's gonna win. You know, the second Charlie D'Emilio was on, I was like, oh, she's gonna win. So it does, it has a lot to do with star power and dancing, you know. So we're waiting to hear the rest of them, but I think she makes the final.

SPEAKER_05

Charlie Jeff had both. Um, I think so too. And I saw Mora Higgins post a little like clip of her meeting. Me too, the spin. Is his name Valve?

SPEAKER_02

Spin.

SPEAKER_05

And they were just like at a Sports Illustrated or swim week party, and he was just like, All right, let's see what you got. And she just snapped, snap.

SPEAKER_02

It was actually crazy. I actually agree. And she's so tiny that he was like able to spin her so fast and dip her so fast and stuff. And I was like, whoa, Mara might be pretty good. I saw that clip. That's funny.

SPEAKER_05

But she didn't falter. Do you know what I mean? Like, she didn't, she wasn't, she didn't seem nervous. She was just like, dung, ding, dang. Those are my voice effects, so it was no, it was a really cool video.

SPEAKER_02

I actually saw that too.

SPEAKER_05

So this is gonna be a great season. I wonder who else is gonna get casting.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we're gonna definitely gonna have to watch. Yeah, yeah. I wonder who else is gonna get you casted. Well, check it out. It'd be fun. Uh, but we do have some questions from you guys. Um, you guys sent in some questions. Uh, you seem to love our quote unquote advice from last time and kind of our thoughts on a lot of the questions from last time.

SPEAKER_05

So these are so fun.

SPEAKER_02

We got more.

SPEAKER_05

These can get pretty weird.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I also think like it's cool to like, because a lot of these questions sometimes a lot of people have the same question. You know what I mean? So I think a lot of these questions can be relatable because they come from somebody. So then, like, the audience is like, wait, I have the same problem. Like, oh, so so it's always fun to do these. So uh let's get into it. Let's get into it.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so this one is from Regini. What advice do you have for someone in their 30s on dating? I've recently signed up for Hinge and I am nervous as hell. I normally don't do online dating. So, any suggestions? Actually, I I have a couple for you.

SPEAKER_00

What's your suggestion?

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so I I haven't dated in my 30s. Um That's true. Right.

SPEAKER_02

I met you in your 29.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but no, 28. 27, going on 28. Anyway, I feel like, first of all, I I I used to use hinge, so I think hinge is kind of like the more comprehensive. I've met so many of my friends that have had hinge marriages. Uh so I do like hinge. I think you're on your onto something with that. But as far as your 30s, okay, fine. I'm not into dating, but we have been matchmaking people in their 30s. And so I think that people are kind of on the same way, same wavelength as part as far as like family values, um, not wanting to waste each other's time. So I feel like if you have a really good sense of who you are, right? Then it'll be easier to just kind of filter through, first of all, the profiles on Hinge. And then second of all, I mean, I used to, and I love how we can talk about this openly. Like there's just no weird jealousy, it's kind of great. Uh, I used to show up on a hinge date and immediately know if I wanted to stay or or or go, right?

SPEAKER_02

I feel like that's yeah, yeah, I feel like it's pretty normal.

SPEAKER_05

So if I wanted to to leave, I would just make it, I would just be so not that you shouldn't do this already, but I would be so fucking like weird and like nonchalant and like not care. Like I was not trying to impress this man, I was not trying to be like the perfect version of myself. I literally was just treating this guy like a dude. Do you know if that makes sense? And weirdly enough, that's who wouldn't ghost me. And then when I would try to be cute and impress the guy and you know, never hear from them again. So I just I kind of answered your question there. Just be yourself, just don't care. Don't care, be so nonchalant, just be like, this is this isn't going anywhere, right? So, like, what do I have to lose? And I feel like that's where my best dates came out of.

SPEAKER_02

I love G's advice. Just just be nonchalant.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, just like don't care. Just like don't care. Like, I know you chose him as a profile because you thought he was cute, because you liked his answers, like, but when you get there, not to like be vulgar or anything, but just don't care. Because the more that you don't care, the more that they care. Am I right or am I wrong?

SPEAKER_02

You're right, honey. See, I'm getting see, I'm already getting used to getting be married. See, you're right, honey.

SPEAKER_05

I love you. But this is he said, she said. So what does he say?

SPEAKER_02

I first of all, dating in your 30s, amazing. Like, so much better than dating in your 20s, especially if you're like ready to settle down.

SPEAKER_04

Because you have money?

SPEAKER_02

Money, which you just said, like you're at a place where you're like, I know what I want, I know what I don't want. I have non-negotiables, I have things that I I want to build with somebody, I want to find somebody who's on this wave. Like dating in your 30s is so much better than your 20s, in my opinion, by far. Uh, and then as far as online dating, I didn't do very much online dating. I I went on one, and there was actually bumble, one bumble date.

SPEAKER_05

Um slanting in the DMs counts though.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I went on a few more then. Okay, a few more. Um, but I don't know. I feel like as far as setting up your profile, I'll get like really detailed. So setting up your profile, just I would post, don't post. I mean, obviously post like your cutest pics, but then also post like one that you're just like, I don't know what you know, I don't know, like something a hobby. You know what I mean? Fishing.

SPEAKER_01

So it's so yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, and obviously, like hinge, I like hinge a lot because it is detailed, like you can really go into details, not just off looks. Yeah, yeah, hinge is great. And then as far as like what you're swiping on, obviously, like you do swipe on looks first, always swipe on looks first. Um, and then go into the details, but be careful too. Meet in a public place, don't go to like some house. Okay, don't go to a house. No, meet in a public place, especially for the first date. Um, but dating online can be. I have so many friends who have met their wife or husband dating online. But yeah, be careful out there. You never know who you're uh going on a date with, be in public. Um, but I'm excited for you. I'm excited for you. Dating online is fun, and dating your 30s is a lot of fun. So cute.

SPEAKER_05

That was really good advice, Blake.

SPEAKER_02

Any things to try, try. All right, well, that was a long time. All right, I'll read the next one. Uh, this one's hard. So this one's hard. Uh I want to know your opinion on this. So this is from Jackie F. My boyfriend is amazing, but my family doesn't approve of him. Their opinions are starting to affect our relationship. How much weight should I give my family's concerns? That's hard.

SPEAKER_05

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

I've have you ever had that problem where your family didn't like one of your boyfriends?

SPEAKER_05

Or I've had some family members not like Damien. Really? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We're throwing names out there.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I've had three boyfriends. Yeah, one of them is Damien.

SPEAKER_01

Interesting.

SPEAKER_05

Uh, and um that didn't do anything really to me.

SPEAKER_02

That didn't affect you.

SPEAKER_05

If anything, it made me want to prove them wrong.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

That's just my personality. But um, I wonder why. I feel like I'm missing context.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we would obviously would need a lot of context, and I don't know your relationship with your family. Like, how close are you with your family? Do you literally live down the street and you literally see them all the time? The one thing I will say, because this is my my answer might have changed since we've had Heath, because raising a child, a family, multiple kids, whatever it is, without the help of your parents or parent-in-laws would be hard. So if they're to the point where they're like, we will not be there for you if you marry this person, that's hard.

SPEAKER_05

Well, then I feel like at that point the problem is the family. So my next question would be what is your relationship with your family prior to this relationship? Because I have known some really, really great relationships, and so have you, but because the family felt like they were losing control of that person, they started tightening the grip. And then the relationship wasn't the problem, the family dynamic was, and it always has been. So my question is why does your family not approve of him? And what type of person do they want you to be with? Is it somebody that's resembles like the dad? Maybe they're a little bit more passive. Maybe you know they he lives in another state and they're afraid that they're gonna lose you. Like, what what is it? And maybe that's a really hard question because your relationship with your family is like obviously the most sacred. Um, so I feel like this is a pretty loaded question.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's hard. And and obviously, I mean, we're super tight with both of our family, with each of our families, and vice versa. Like, I'm tight with your family and by spending your time with my family. So we have no problems there. I've never had a relationship whereas my family didn't like the person I was dating. Uh so I don't know the answer to that because I've never been in that situation. But if I was I'm not like you, I think it would end my relationship personally.

SPEAKER_05

Really?

SPEAKER_02

I think if my family didn't like you to the point to the point where they're like us or them.

SPEAKER_05

But why would your family do that? Why would your family ever choose? No, why would your family ever choose to not have you in their life?

SPEAKER_01

It's true, it's true, it's true.

SPEAKER_05

That would never be, that would never, if if I didn't like Keith's girlfriend, I would never be like, either it's her or me. What?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, no.

SPEAKER_05

No, I would literally be like, well, let me try. You obviously love this girl. I want to love her with you so that we can all be, yeah, a happy family or fake it, whatever, you know, for Christmases or Thanksgiving's or all that. So, but I okay, let's let's do a really quick scenario. If he's the problem, okay, let's just say family dynamics, great. He's the problem. I promise you that that will eventually out and you will not be together anymore. Whether it takes five years, whether it takes two, whether it takes six months, that relationship will not survive. Because it's not meant to be. That's my take. I don't know if that helped you or not. I hope that helped, Jackie.

SPEAKER_02

Don't hope that helped. That's a hard one, man. It's a hard one. Family versus relationship.

SPEAKER_05

But no, I I I like getting these questions now because as a mother, I really just see things so differently. And I would do anything for Heath, even if I don't like her.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's true, it's true. Let's uh let's do the Rosa Rosa P question.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, this question is from Rosa P. My husband and I just had a baby, and we are finding it very hard to make time for each other. I feel like we are so disconnected. How do you guys make time for one another?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, so I feel that immensely.

SPEAKER_05

To my core.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, because I think all parents go through this genuinely, especially new parents. Um having a toddler, a baby, then a toddler literally consumes your life. Everything about it, and you're trying to be the best parent you possibly could. Therefore, sometimes your significant other gets put on the back burner a little bit. Um, I think for us, we're we're pretty lucky in the fact that we work together. Right. We're in the same industry. We obviously have this podcast, we film a lot of fun videos together. So for us, it's a little different than I think most because we are able to have our one-on-one time and time for each other while we're working, um, which is unique and special. Um, and if you didn't have that, you know, if you didn't, obviously if you had different jobs, I think which most people do. Yeah, exactly, which most people do. Um I think you just literally, I know it's like it doesn't seem romantic or whatnot, but I literally think you have to calendar, you have to put time in in your calendar because it you have to be selfish with your calendar because you can't because you can if there's like something on count like 5 p.m. Tuesday night, date night, you can't miss that. Yeah, like you can't miss that. You have to be selfish because if you guys aren't a good team, if you guys aren't on a good page, you're not being the best parents you can be. So it's important to have your relationship where you know in a great place and your marriage at a great place, and your teamwork as parents is a great place because it does start to impact the child. And so I think taking time for yourself and being selfish for yourself isn't actually selfish because it's making you a better parent.

SPEAKER_05

Right. Okay, hot take. We do work together, but also we have had the situation where we need to separate quality time and work time and then fun time. So that can get tricky for us. This is super fun, but I would like I would love to, I don't know, like canoodle instead of like true, because sometimes when we are alone, it's like okay, we gotta work.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_05

And so there's that for us, it's just having to separate the two. But like, you know, for for new parents that are out there and wanting to make time for each other, I think I think the the quality time, especially in the beginning, can be in the mundane, right? So if you are up in the middle of the night together and you just so happen to, you know, I mean, can't fall back asleep just yet, take that time, take the opportunities whenever you can. Like if you're cooking together or something like that, that just like that extra 15 minutes, I feel like can just make such a big difference. We in the beginning, we were selfish in our calendar with wanting to work out together because that's something we did pre-Heath. And so later on, it it kind of dawned on me that I was just like, wow, that was that's the time that we get together one and a half hour in the morning where we work out and we go to the sauna together. And we're we're just like more relaxed and we think it's like cute and sexy and fun, and and it just kind of ticks a lot of boxes for us, and we get to like talk on the drive to the gym. So I would say just kind of like pick like an maybe like a daily activity that you always do together, whether that's like morning coffee, a little workout, cooking, something that that seems mundane, but that's just gonna make such a big difference. And then yeah, with the calendar bit, I completely agree with you because like sometimes we'll be we'll we'll schedule it out three weeks in advance. We're like, we're going to dinner at Tuesday at 6 p.m. And three weeks from now, then Tuesday at 6 p.m. comes around and we just look at each other and we're like, uh we just want to stay, but then we you know we gotta do it, we go, and it just ends up being lovely. So just just force your date nights.

SPEAKER_02

Just force the date nights, Rosa. I should do one more because I I like this one from Tanya.

SPEAKER_05

Um, yeah, I like this one from Tanya a lot too.

SPEAKER_02

We it's it's very relatable. Uh all right, so Tanya H, my partner and I are constantly arguing about money. We have different spending habits and it's causing real tension. What's the best way to approach this? Wow, wow, wow. We're gonna it's this is gonna turn into therapy because if you figure it out, tell me. We yeah, yeah. Let us if you let us know if you figure it out because G and I have the same issue as far as like different spending habits. Yeah. And different just straight up outlooks on money. I grew up at a bit, or I have a bit more of a scarcity. Is that the word I'm looking for? Scarcity outlook on money. Uh, when I get money, I'm saving it. When I get money, I have to be like, okay, well, what if I don't get money tomorrow? And I put it away and I don't want to spend it because you never know what can happen. The rainy day. So that's my outlook on money and my mind frame around money. Geez is different.

SPEAKER_05

The literal opposite. I feel like energy is money. This is gonna sound maybe out of touch with some people, but just so background on it. I, you know, I've I couldn't pay my rent a couple years ago. I worked four jobs at once. Like I, but it's because I always knew that I could make money if I worked really, really hard, if I just like push myself and all this stuff. So even when I like couldn't pay my rent, I just had this rose-colored glasses point of view about it because I was like, there is money out there, I just have to work to get it. So I just feel like that's how I approach money is it's out there. There is not a lack of money in the world, there's a lack of talent. So you just need to figure out what your talent is and go and grab it. That's how I look at it.

SPEAKER_02

So when it comes to spending, she thinks the more you spend, the more money comes back to you.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think the more I spend, the more money comes back to me. I just say that whenever I spend something, it's gonna come back to me tenfold because it's happened in the past. Even when I had like zero dollars to my name, it's crazy. I'll tell you the story if you want, but that's in another time. So I've just seen that type of mind frame, high energy, high, you know, abundance mind frame is just kind of the vibrational frequency that I like to like operate at. And that is what I see come back to me. Even if it's not my reality right now, it will be. That's what I how I look at it. So when it comes to different spending habits and how to deal with it with your partner, uh honestly, I feel like I've just conceded the fact that you're gonna spend money.

SPEAKER_02

Like I can't fight it. She enjoys well, I shouldn't say I'm saying it wrong. She enjoys nice things. Like you enjoy spending. A little bit extra on a hotel room. Yeah. She enjoys yeah, expensive days. So spending the comfort a little bit extra on a dinner. Um, where I'm not like when I used to travel, I would get the cheapest hotel. I don't care. I just am sleeping there. I don't care. Like, so I've obviously obviously she wasn't gonna come to me. So I came to her when it came to that. Um, so there's certain things that we've compromised on. Um, we still argue about that's the number one thing we argue about. Money is hard. Money is it's I mean, Jason Tardick, we've done his podcast how many times, and he said multiple times like finances is the number one leading cause of breakups, divorces, fights, everything, you know, and and that's so true.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, I will offer a solution. We're still working on it, right? But this is something that has been relayed to us, which is okay, it becomes instead of a you and me situation, right? It is a we situation. It's a we problem. So if there's something that needs to be paid off, or if there's something that you guys, you know, like when you travel and you wanna, you know, do the the nicer hotel, instead of like putting it on one person or the other, really thinking that this is our problem or our money is supposed to help the situation. Uh so let me know if that works for you. Yeah, it's the only thing that's like really resonated with you.

SPEAKER_02

When things has things has really changed with me, I was I've obviously all the always had a quote unquote scarcity mindset, but also like when I was single, like I knew I could survive on $500 for a month. You know what I mean? And like it was so easy. I mean, I'll have amazing months like that. Was the second Heath was born, thing changed. And it was like, holy cow, now I'm literally providing for this person, and so things change immensely. Now I'm like, I was I am still like exponentially more of like we have to have a rainy day fun, we can't be spending all this money. Heath's private school is expensive, his pre-K is expensive, his food is clothes. It was just like life is expensive. Everything and I just I I it got so much harder for me the second Heath was born. I was like, oh my god, I have to do everything now with him in mind and like make sure that he is like God. I can't just, you know, I can't just like live in a hotel or whatever for a couple days because I'm low on money or whatever it is because I have a baby now.

SPEAKER_05

So it's just well, I will say that's a green flag. Like I think I think it's cute. I think it's cute. I think it's cute that you freak out about all that stuff. There are all- Do you okay?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, that is on camera. We have it on camera that when I freak out about money, it is cute.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no. When it comes to when it well, when it comes to certain things, when it comes to other things, I'm like, bro, like it's okay. It's okay. It's gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, we can't both just spend. One of us has to be frugal.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, we can talk about this all day. Clearly, we will get back to you on this. Hopefully, we'll be able to do that.

SPEAKER_02

No, you get back to us, Tanya. You give it, you give us the the wee money. You let us know how you're solving it because we're working on it still. We're working on it. We're getting better, but it's it's tough. It's tough out there. That is a very hard thing. Um, but yeah, uh, so keep sending your questions in, guys. It's so much fun. We love hearing from you guys. And the next time you will hear from us, we'll be married.

SPEAKER_05

We'll be married. We'll be husband and wife. I can call you my husband, and you can call me your wife.

SPEAKER_02

That's my wife. That's crazy to think. It's crazy. It's gonna be so much fun. Follow along on socials because we have some really fun things planned throughout the week of our wedding. Some a lot of really fun people coming, obviously, that you guys know. Um we might film a podcast out there with some people you may know.

SPEAKER_05

And I wanna, I feel like we'll see if we have time because I don't want to promise this and then not be able to do it. So I will offer an alternative. I would like to vlog. I think if we don't end up doing a podcast, yeah, we can do a follow-along with us and vlog the whole thing, and you can have like our literal wedding diary as an episode. So I used to, you know, I have my own channel. Go follow me if you want. Um, and so it would be very much like that. So I feel like that relieves a lot of pressure instead of like having to set up this whole thing and like do a little just six right in between our wedding. So we will try, but I would love to just to vlog it for you guys if you are interested in that.

SPEAKER_02

I love that idea. That'd be fun. That'd be fun. But yeah, so uh thank you guys again so much for all the love support. Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe.

SPEAKER_05

And we'll see you next week.

SPEAKER_02

We'll see you next week. Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_05

He said what?

SPEAKER_00

No way she said that.
