SPEAKER_00

He said G said is back.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We are here in Denver after 21 days in Europe. We got a lot to talk about.

SPEAKER_03

And it was magical and fantastic and so insanely stressful.

SPEAKER_00

It was all the things you you would think in a wedding and a destination wedding in three weeks on the road.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But a lot of you have been asking a lot of questions. Whether we can we see the vlog, we see the video, more content, more wedding content, more wedding content, more wedding content.

SPEAKER_03

So we boy, do we have this?

SPEAKER_00

We are here to give it to you. Yes, yes. So um let's just talk about first of all, like how do you feel now? The wedding's over. We've been home now two weeks since the honeymoon, roughly. So, like, where how are you feeling now?

SPEAKER_03

Um, I'm feeling hee hee for a while I was really depressed. It's called the wedding blues. I didn't think you were depressed, but you really okay, fine, not depressed, but it was like this kind of weird anxiety that kind of washed over me. I think it's because I'm the type of person that acts first and thinks later, right? So I feel like I was actually the most chill bride ever, especially for having such a chaotic like destination, two to three locations. And so I feel like I was so chill during the whole thing, but then that's just my nature because then I overthink absolutely every single thing afterwards.

SPEAKER_00

That's so true. If you do that's something G does a lot, and she knows it. You're fully self-aware that like it doesn't matter what we do, like anything we do, we'll be hanging out with my family. We get in the car, and I'll she's silent for like 20 minutes. I'm like, what are you doing? And she's overthinking every single conversation we have. And my family loves her, and it's been five years, but she still thinks about it over and over again. So like I'll overthink this. Yeah, yeah. I didn't even think about that. That's probably a lot of what you've been thinking about.

SPEAKER_03

That's what exactly what happened.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and so it wasn't, yeah, it wasn't like depression.

SPEAKER_00

No, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was just this like weird anxiety. I was just like overthinking so many things. I wasn't thinking that I did anything different, right? Or wrong or wrong or anything, nothing, nothing. I'm I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Um, it's just me just getting in my head, and um and then also it's just it is what it is. We posted so much content, like so much content, and you can't please everybody, even though the the overall feedback was just overwhelmingly positive. There's always gonna be like two or three people that are just like not gonna like your address. I think that you know, this or this or that could have been different. And I think because I came, I was coming off of such a high that was got you a little more than that than it would have normally. Yeah, because I was just like fuck you, it was perfect. How dare you? Also, I spent a small fortune on this, and I just feel like it kind of hit me at a weird angle. Um but now I'm fine.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was saying you're fine, and for me, I think I'll be honest, I felt great. Obviously, the honeymoon was incredible. The honeymoon, we'll get into that. Santorini, one of my favorite places in the world now. It was just unbelievable. But when we got home from Santorini, obviously there was like, oh my god, back to the world back to real life. Like we live in like this weird fantasy for three weeks. But at the same time, I don't think I realized how much the wedding was weighing on me. Because like when I got done, when we got back, I was like, oh my god, like I can kind of focus on new things, I can focus on the podcast a little bit more. I can that energy that I was giving towards the wedding, I can focus on something else now. And it was like, oh my, I felt very freeing to me. It felt very freeing to me. To you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Sorry, not to diminish your experience, but okay. I just feel like I took on like 90% of the work.

SPEAKER_00

You definitely did, and that was your decision. You definitely wanted that. Okay, okay. No, a hundred percent. But I think that's why I said I didn't realize how much it was impacting me. Because you're right, I didn't pick out the flowers or the place settings or the menus. You're right, I didn't do any of that. But I think even just I still had so much anxiety um around just my biggest thing, obviously, and you know this when I talked about this was the travel. Travel. Just and especially my family traveling, my friends traveling there. I didn't I had so much anxiety around that and pressure around that. So when that was over, I actually I felt freeing like in the moment of it.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, it was your wedding too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, don't forget that.

SPEAKER_03

We're newlyweds, guys. We are newlyweds. We're newlyweds.

SPEAKER_00

Look, it's been three weeks now. No, it's great.

SPEAKER_03

Show yours.

SPEAKER_00

Boom. No, I love it. It's just my I'm not used to it at all.

SPEAKER_02

Show, get closer.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, sorry. Well, this is the ring. This is the yeah, that's the camera that they'll see. But um, no, I love it. Uh, it's it's I I'm never gonna get used to it, I don't think. It's like a fidget toy for me, which is fine. I don't mind it. But no, it's been great. Like in a weird way, obviously, like we are a child, we already live together. Like, not a ton has changed, but at the same time, everything has changed. It's kind of a weird dynamic.

SPEAKER_03

Do you feel like we're more of like a team? Do you feel like it's more like solid?

SPEAKER_00

Do you Yeah, so okay, so yeah, I think I think something that surprised me, obviously, we've talked about this. Finances is a thing with us. We I don't know if fight's the right word, but like we I worry about finances a lot. She you do too, I guess to a degree. But I feel like we're back, I don't know what it is, but the second, like I feel like we're on the same page for the first time in five years with that. Like, I feel like it's just been it's which is great.

SPEAKER_02

That's great.

SPEAKER_00

I know it's great, and I don't know what's changed, except I guess except for the marriage thing, but so I think that's great. But other than that, I mean, we just kind of fell back into life.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but I feel I can I wanna almost I want to talk about this because it's such a unique feeling. I don't know if you felt the same way, but after having Heath, it was so blissful.

SPEAKER_00

The first like a couple months.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and like it was just such like a happiness high, and we were just like really calm and really just understanding with each other to a point where we wouldn't even bring up an argument because we just wanted to be in our little bubble so much so badly. I feel like we did that again right after. Like our honeymoon was amazing.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was so great, and like things that maybe we would argue over, like we just didn't. Yeah, so I think that was also part of it. Um, and I feel like we're so in that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, I mean I feel great. I I I think also everything was just such a success, and we're gonna get into the vlog for you guys. We're gonna kind of like narrate through, especially those of you on audio. We're gonna kind of like talk through the video, but obviously, after you listen to audio, go on YouTube and watch the full vlog because it's special. It's so special. And we haven't, I mean, you've watched the whole thing through now. Um, I've watched bits and pieces of it, so it's kind of more or less my but it's also not perfect, right?

SPEAKER_03

Like these this isn't like the official like videographer video. Like this was us vlogging, grabbing bits and pieces too from like our iPhones and and just really putting this whole thing together just to give you what we saw through our eyes. Um and I'm telling you, everything happened. Like, look at this beauty.

SPEAKER_00

I was just gonna say we're blood, sweat, and tears. Blood, sweat and tears. I can't wait to get into it because there's some wild things that happened an hour before G walked down the aisle, not even a half hour before G walked down the aisle that I didn't know was happening at the time. Nobody knew about it. It's crazy, it's wild. Um, literally a bridesworth nightmare, probably. Literally, literally a bridesworth's nightmare. She got through it.

SPEAKER_03

100,000.

SPEAKER_00

Um, but we're gonna get into it.

SPEAKER_03

Uh other than the groom saying no.

SPEAKER_00

Couche, touche. Other than running away from she didn't run away this time. She didn't run away this time. Um, let's get into it. Let's watch the vlog.

SPEAKER_03

And we have QA's after. Yeah, we're doing a little QA. I am did a couple, I don't know how long this will air, but I did a couple of uh QA's on my stories to see what you guys wanted to know about, and I'll be answering them here. So stay till the end and you'll see things like how much did the wedding cost? And what was the guest list like?

SPEAKER_05

All right.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, one more thing. Weddings are very telling.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, we can talk about it at the end. All right. We'll talk about it at the end. Talk about it in the end. Okay, all right.

SPEAKER_03

And along with our QA's, at the end, we will be giving you an update on our Starcross match with Raven, Ross, and Justin Glaze.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, we got an update for you guys. So stick around to the end.

SPEAKER_04

Hello. Wedding week has started. We're on our way to free after missing our bump detour.

SPEAKER_01

So just another day in the life.

SPEAKER_04

But we made a heart detour. We did a hard detour. Uh what canceled?

SPEAKER_01

Heart detour. Steam blew up.

SPEAKER_04

Steam blew up. Um but it's okay because then that means that a wedding is just gonna be flawless.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, we're getting all the hard stuff out of the way. I'll say this about a destination wedding. If you're thinking about doing a destination wedding, it is my biggest tip would probably be to get there early. Very to acclimate time. Um just the travel in general, get that out of the way so that you're acclimating because it would have been so much harder had we just landed and gone straight to the wedding.

SPEAKER_03

And we started the trip off by going to Naples, Italy, and we wanted to do like a little tour around Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii was Blake's like biggest buckillus item. So here we are going to the beach clubs and again just getting acclimated, enjoying family time.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say, I think this was like a time for the three of us before the craziness of the wedding. So we just enjoyed it swimming in the ocean. Uh, I was freaking out about the history of Italy, obviously. Um, so it was just a good time for just us before the craziness of the wedding.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and everyone actually ended up meeting us here in Rome, Italy. We're going around all of the landmarks, did a wedding wish at the Trevi Fountain.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was really fun with Trevi Fountain, threw a little uh coin in there, wished uh for good luck.

SPEAKER_03

And we finally made it to Venice, Italy. So this is where the whole festivities were starting because the easiest way to get to Ruven Croatia was through Venice, through a ferry or a car or bus. And this is where everyone met us, and we just had the best time just eating and drinking and going on gondolas.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Venice is, I mean, special, special, special. One of my favorite places in the world. Uh, my family had never been to Europe. Your family had never been to Venice. Right. Most people had never been to Venice, so it was cool time for us to welcome everybody in Venice. So we had our little welcome party.

SPEAKER_03

So romantic, so iconic. We had our welcome party at the restaurant, Agliarki. I'd never been to this place before. I literally just DM'd them and emailed them, and we saw that this was such an iconic, very quaint, very traditional, and they just went all out. They got us an opera singer.

SPEAKER_00

Piano player, opera singer. They had a DJ, they let me DJ a little bit, things got crazy, table dancing, all the above. It was, and Heath had so much fun.

SPEAKER_03

After the four-course meal, we just got so lit. Espresso martinis were flowing. We had the most beautiful afternoon here. We rode up in a gondola.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, it was super cool.

SPEAKER_03

And it was just so much fun, but I kind of had a little bit of uh too much fun, and you'll see why in a second.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, G was dancing as usual to my uh DJing, got up on a chair.

SPEAKER_03

I was being the hype woman, and turns out this chair was plastic, and I went straight through it.

SPEAKER_00

Straight through the chair.

SPEAKER_03

Straight through the chair, and I didn't really think much of it. I was like, oh, I'm scratched, right? And I got a scratch, and it kept throbbing like an hour later, like through the the shots and the drinks, and I was like, I still feel this thing. And I raised up my skirt, and there's just blood everywhere, everywhere, all over her dress, down the leg, on the ground. And everyone was like, Oh my god, no, the bride is hurt, and blah. And I like did not give a fuck. When I tell you, I did not care. People were trying to like make it such. I was like, just put a band-aid on it. Let's keep dancing, let's keep going. I'm fine. I can walk, I can walk down the aisle. My dress is long.

SPEAKER_00

The dress is long, so we weren't freaking out by any means. And you were like, no, let's keep partying. Let's keep it. And we did for another hour, maybe two hours. We kept going. She definitely didn't want the you know to ruin the party, quote unquote. But look at all that blood on the dress.

SPEAKER_03

My custom David's bridal dress. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So, all in all, uh, the welcome party was a massive success. Uh, everybody's a little hungover the next day, but we did catch the ferry over to Rovine because that's the easiest way to get to Rovine. The coolest thing I think about our experiences in Rovine before the wedding was everybody enjoyed this town so much.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, it's such a gem. We wanted people to enjoy it and fall in love with it as much as we did. So we had a free day before the rehearsal day, and we all just hung around, went to the beach. Everyone got to walk around the town and really see why we fell in love with the place. And we're here at the rehearsal party getting ready, sweet, in the Grand Park in Rovine, Croatia. This hotel happens to be the best hotel in all of Croatia. Stunning.

SPEAKER_00

Like, I can't just it's by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in, maybe we'll ever stay in.

SPEAKER_03

Top 10 in Europe in general.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Grand Park Hotel in Ravine. Shout out, incredible Meister Select Hotel. Incredible.

SPEAKER_03

And it made the selection to go to Ravine so much easier because we wanted our guests to feel comfortable, but also everyone had different tiers. Not everyone stayed in the same hotel, um, but there was one big group where we everyone could just get like this discount, and it was just really nice. We had the best time walking through the town, going to our venue in Ravine where we haven't seen it before.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we hadn't seen this before. Um, and it's really cool. Croatia has this um, I don't know, tradition where they honk at Newlyweds. So they were honking as you were walking through the town, which is really sweet. We arrived to our Valentino Champagne Bar. Thank you guys so much. Um, it means a lot to us, and you have all made uh a lasting impression on our lives. Um, and uh we love you all very much.

SPEAKER_03

I love you guys so much. Let's have fun, yeah?

SPEAKER_00

Thank you guys. We had a full DJ. Um, it was hot. We were literally there. I don't know if you've seen on the news at all. Europe's like biggest heat wave of all time. It's like recorded temperature, so it was insanely hot.

SPEAKER_03

So all the girlies like took off their shoes, went and grabbed fans on the stores that were around the bar, and we were all just like literally literal mermaids.

SPEAKER_00

It was magical.

SPEAKER_03

It was so much fun, and once that sun started to go down, it started to cool off, and people were you know, drinking the champagne and just vibing out to this beauty, and we were just able to marvel at the bright blue waters, the cliffside. It's so unique. I really wanted to give that piece of why we chose this because you don't get to see this everywhere else.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, Croatia's well known, it's literally what the yachting capital of like the world. So, like the ocean is magnificent. We had so much fun. Once the sun went down, we all started to dance.

SPEAKER_03

And everyone was our something blue, which I loved. I love that we had like a little bit of a dress code for that day because it just looked so pretty, especially against the backdrop, and everyone looked so cohesive. And I loved everyone's take on the something blue. It was just super special having all of our friends there. And I think this rehearsal party really just made sure that everyone was best friends so that they went ham.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, everybody knew each other going to the wedding day. Yeah. Uh and then the wedding day.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, we're getting ready. Popping champagne and her matching robes. I'm actually wearing my aunt got me um this long pearl necklace that it's like a my something old. So she gave me this very priceless um just family heirloom. And I'm having the time of my life with our family, and I was so calm.

SPEAKER_00

It was it was crazy to me because I had a I got out of the room at 6 a.m. Because they started hair and makeup so early, like 7 a.m. Everybody was there. So I got out of the room at 6 a.m. I did some really cute little things. I left some notes for G on the pillow, on the mirror. I left notes throughout the day for recorded a cute little video. Um I was gonna say that. I love you.

SPEAKER_03

Everywhere that I went, someone had like a note waiting in their pocket and they would give it to me. And um It was cool. It didn't hit me really. I mean, I knew I was getting married, obviously, but I was so calm. Like literally, some of the photographers were coming up to me being like, Do you know what's going on? And I'm like, I know exactly what's happening. I'm just so happy. Um, and I'm saving my strength for the 4M. Yeah, it's been a long day.

SPEAKER_00

I haven't seen any of this footage though.

SPEAKER_03

Once I had my bouquet, I was like, Okay, this is it. This is it.

SPEAKER_00

Let's like we're it's so special too to be able to have all of our family get ready with you um in you know Grand Park.

SPEAKER_03

And I gave them all gifts. I designed like all these really pretty jewelry pieces with Relerie and gave everyone their little heirlooms for the day. Um, and my best friends did my hero makeup, and we were just having like such a nice morning. Up until this part right here, we're all getting into the elevator, and one of the coordinators said, Oh, by the way, we're only allowing 10 people into your private boat to get to the island. That's where we're getting married in this Hooterock castle. And I'm like, No, like these we have 15, we are all going. And he goes, No, you're not. We can only choose 10. I was like, Cool. I pick my friends and my family and my manager. Y'all three can fuck off. I was like, row, row, row your boat all the way to the island. You're not telling me this last minute. And the other photographer was trying to give me attitude, blah blah, whatever.

SPEAKER_00

And it's hot AS.

SPEAKER_03

It's so hot, so, so hot. And um, it ended up being okay, but this is why we were late. So I was perfectly on time.

SPEAKER_00

So while this is all happening, me and all the other guests are over on the island in a hundred degree weather sitting there, and you know, I'm doing the whole thing, like, oh, well, you know, she's a little late. That's okay. It's G. Like, I expected this. Then it was like a half hour late. Then it was like an hour late. I'm like, what is happening? Something is wrong. I could tell. So why don't you tell them what happened?

SPEAKER_03

So I'm actually having the best time of my life on this private boat with my friends and family. Um, it's it's very me. I grew up in South Florida. I I grew up with a boat. The the water is my happy place. Like, I am so relaxed. I feel like I'm gonna cry. I feel like this is just like the fairy tale that I've always wanted. And like, look at it. It's just so stunning and way better than I ever imagined. And so I finally feel like, okay, everything that you know, my leg getting gashed, and the guy telling me like my family's gonna be on this boat, like, and all the little tiny things leading up to it, just in general, the stress of putting together this wedding. And so I'm so relaxed. So then find out that when I was dancing and posing on this boat, there was boat tar. Boat tar on the cushions of the boat.

SPEAKER_00

So G sat in boat tar with her dress.

SPEAKER_03

I get up and my custom couture galiola have dress that I've been perfecting for a year and a half has these big three ugly patches, and I told them I'm not walking.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they were like, oh, it's fine, it won't be a big deal until we got white out. No.

SPEAKER_03

And so we got white out and they fixed it. Great, we're ready to go. I'm doing the first look with my dad, which was exactly what I wanted to do before.

SPEAKER_00

I saw you all this part.

SPEAKER_02

Make me so happy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. I didn't get to see that moment.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and then immediately I saw you. Yeah, and then she walks.

SPEAKER_00

There's me walking down with my mom. Um, yeah, I mean, it was just beautiful, so beautiful. Gotta give a shout-out to our wedding planner.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god. Weddings in Croatia. I'm pretty sure that's right.

SPEAKER_00

Magnificent.

SPEAKER_03

And showroom design and events just did such a beautiful job. We have a violinist on a pedestal. The the rotunda that we were getting married at, they just designed it as exactly how I wanted it to. Very classic, very timeless, uh, really elevated.

SPEAKER_00

There's Heathe walking down the aisle. And Heathe. We had all of the little kids walk down the aisle. Heath uh ran up to me. Like you can see here, he kind of runs up to me and gives me a big hug. I was bawling already. I was literally a mess already. G hadn't even started walking yet, but um And we were all so hot.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, it was so hot. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

I literally I joke that like I was literally just as hot as I was in the Maldives with the towel. Like, literally, like it was so hot.

SPEAKER_03

Everyone has their fans and they're all fanning. They were in the shade though.

SPEAKER_00

We had I was I I was directly in this. Look at me. This is where G starts walking down the aisle towards me. Uh it was really bright, so the sun was in my eyes, so I didn't see her until she was about right at the aisle. Okay. Um, but I was, I mean, I was MSS crying. I had a tissue in my back pocket that I kept having to wipe my forehead and my eyes with. Um, but she looks so incredible walking down the aisle. You did.

SPEAKER_02

No, I was like, her dress was so perfect.

SPEAKER_03

What did you think about it?

SPEAKER_00

I loved it. I mean, I knew it was gonna be lace. I know you. I knew it was gonna be laced, but it was so perfect. I loved the arm.

SPEAKER_03

The gloves, the hands, I custom made those gloves.

SPEAKER_00

Custom made the gloves look so.

SPEAKER_03

And the opera veil. So this dress is about like 20 to 30 feet long. It's called an opera gown. And it's just so timeless, and it's like a 20-foot gown. And I really wanted it to be grand, but definitely very me.

SPEAKER_00

It was very you. I was obsessed. It looks so good. You look so amazing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and there's my cousin marrying us. She's literally like my second sister, like my sister.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she's like your sister. I was super nervous for my vows. I actually had finalized my vows that morning. I went to like the spa at uh Grand Park Hotel, and I finalized my vows, and I was jeez. The writer in the family, and I do the math. So I was freaking out. I was freaking out. But we nailed it.

SPEAKER_03

Really, really chill.

SPEAKER_00

You crushed yours. There's not a dry eye in the house.

SPEAKER_03

Well, everyone came up to us and said how they will always remember those vows. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And then uh there we are. Our first kiss is husband and wife.

SPEAKER_03

No, we couldn't stop kissing, honestly.

SPEAKER_00

I almost kissed her. Remember when I almost kissed you in the middle of the speech? I always kissed her and I backed off. I was like, oh, not yet, not yet. Um, but everybody was also very happy that to get out of the heat at that point. They were like, okay, let's go. Um, but it was the videos and pictures really don't do it justice, you guys. This Hudorak castle was so stunning. So stunning. There was look at this like forest behind it, around it.

SPEAKER_03

It just looked like Tuscany, but we're on an island in Croatia, and people were just really finally understanding why it is that we made them go all the way to this tiny island on this tiny part of literal tiny island Croatia. And it just felt so special to be able to claim that as ours. I can't wait to go back to our anniversary. I know we're gonna go back all the time.

SPEAKER_00

We're in love with Orvine. Uh, but yeah, having the having Heat there was obviously special.

SPEAKER_03

It was so special. He knew it was a special day. Like he kept grabbing me and kissing me and just and saying mama during the ceremony.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he kept saying mama. Highly recommend bubbles. Oh my god. Yeah, kids there use bubbles, you guys, because I don't know, they were just infatuated with the bubbles. So they weren't bothering anybody, they just want to play with bubbles.

SPEAKER_03

There were six babies there, and like you could not tell, honestly. And look, it made the photos look so whimsical. And someone even said, like, oh, the Photoshop. I'm like, what do you mean? Those are real Photoshop bubbles. We just got a really cool bubble machine. Um, and our family pictures. I've I've dreamed about these photos literally my entire life, and I cannot wait to frame these because you can't you can't top this, honestly.

SPEAKER_00

No, it was it was so cool and so so much fun to have everybody there, man. Oh, look at that dress. I can't get over how good that dress. Look at that veil. What?

SPEAKER_03

Look at that thing. It was just honestly the a day that I really want to relive over and over again. When people say this is the best day of your life, it really was the best day of my life. Um and everyone just being just so loving and us sharing this time as a family um and as a couple, and just really settling into like newlyweds, it was so insanely special. Um, and I didn't fall down, I didn't run away.

SPEAKER_00

Didn't fall down, didn't run away this time, you guys. She didn't run away this time.

SPEAKER_03

But I guess I'm destined to have stains on my dress.

SPEAKER_00

That's so true. Two dresses now with stains. But you fixed it. You fixed it.

SPEAKER_03

Fixed it.

SPEAKER_00

I couldn't even tell, I had no idea what was happening with the white out and then when I bustled it, it looked like a completely different dress.

SPEAKER_03

This reception is amazing. We're finally at the castle, and I surprised Blake with a saxophone player.

SPEAKER_00

I had no idea there was a saxophone player, you guys. It was, and that's like all I wanted. Yeah. So she surprised me with that, which was really cool. And we did something a little different too. Instead of going straight to dinner from the reception, we went into a dance party.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Something a little different. We enjoyed it. It was a good half hour of that.

SPEAKER_03

And a lot of people were telling me we're having dinner right now, and a lot of people were telling me, I didn't know that uh I could have lobster risotto at midnight.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we had a late dinner to say the least.

SPEAKER_03

Late dinner, late dancing, and here we are about to jump into the grand finale of our first dance.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, the grand finale of our first dance, and our first dance song was the Hollies.

SPEAKER_03

The Air That I Breathe. It's like the 70s song. It's so freaking epic. I couldn't even hear the song. And then Blake was like, I think this is the cue. You should go. And I was like, Okay, I trust you.

SPEAKER_00

And we nailed it, nailed it, she jumped in my arms right at the climax of the song. Uh, we started the night off with the reception off with a live band into DJing. Um, but the live band, I think, just brings more energy to the dance floor because everybody can like vibe with the guitarists and the tambourinists.

SPEAKER_03

They did a great job at like including everybody. We had four different types of entertainment. We had a band, a saxophone, a DJ, Blake DJing, and we had like live singers. So it was just a very, very uh fun-filled evening because I didn't want people to feel like they were dancing to the same type of music all night. How long could you do that?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly, exactly. And again, we didn't start dancing until after midnight because the last dish was served at midnight.

SPEAKER_03

Um rush.

SPEAKER_00

G switching into her second dress of the night.

SPEAKER_03

By Galia Lahav. Crazy. For crazy hours.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, there's crazy hour dress.

SPEAKER_03

So in uh Venezuelan and Latin culture, there's something called crazy hour, which is where like you get your second wind and you get your snacks, and performers come out, and you kind of just keep the party going, and that's exactly what we did. Everyone's got a little bit left in you, and we can keep it going because this dress needs an audience, darling. Had these performers do all these dances, these fire breathers. I had no idea what they were going to do. I trusted my wedding planner and weddings in Croatia so much that I literally just said, do it, girl.

SPEAKER_00

And she nailed it. I, as a white boy, I had no idea what Crazy Era was, but it was so a lot. Nobody did. Nobody, you know, like everybody was like, wait, what's happening? These entertainers came out, and I thought it was a really cool moment where people got to like relax, but the energy was still there. They went and got drinks, they went and you know, changed shoes, they went all got off their feet a little bit, but yet they were still dancers, they were still playing with fire, throwing fire around, twirling fire. Uh, I highly that's another thing I highly recommend is having some entertainment there. Not just where they dance for six hours, five hours, whatever it is.

SPEAKER_03

There was some entertainers there, which also gives a little sense of like regal when you're being entertained. Yes, you know. Uh so that was just something that I was dying to have, and it turned out great. I also got all these fun props, and so many things had were custom. They had our names on them, they had our wedding date on them, and um, it was just really special because everyone got to take them home, and you feel like you were able to bring something to a destination wedding, and that's what I did. I put so many things in our suitcases, but not before our wedding cake cutting.

SPEAKER_00

So, you guys, I can't explain. I've talked about it on my social a lot. I don't know why, but this is one of my favorite moments of the entire night. You talk to people and everybody's like, I've never seen a cake cutting before, right? It's always done in the corner, away from like the guests, and just for the photos.

SPEAKER_03

And I thought that's what we were gonna do.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, that's what I anticipated too. But the weddings in Croatia, she took the table, she put it right in the middle of the dance floor, music didn't stop. They pull up with the cake, the energy is still going on around us. We're cutting into the cake. There was it felt so natural. Then all of a sudden, our song came on that we wanted.

SPEAKER_03

At the perfect time when he's like putting the cake into my mouth, and everyone just started erupting and singing and singing that samore around us, and it was so and then like feeding cake into people's mouths.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she was feeding cake in the crowd. It was just like so cool. I never thought the cake cutting was gonna be like one of my favorite moments of the night, and it was.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and again, I didn't know the flavor, I didn't know the design. I just I gave her the direction, and it was perfect. When I say my family said that it was the best cake they had, they're tough critics. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I wrote and produced a song for her. So I wanted to, she'd never heard this song before, she did not know this was happening. This is a surprise. So, baby, this song is for you.

SPEAKER_03

So Blake dedicated a song that he created and produced for five years.

SPEAKER_00

She wanted me to dedicate, let alone create a song for her. So I surprised her with a song that I wrote and produced. Uh, it was special. It was in her vibe.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

She likes it dirty, she likes a dirty beat. So I made it in her vibe and it was awesome. And she you were shocked. You didn't know it was happening.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't know it was happening. Everybody said it was the best song of the night, genuinely. And I'm sitting there being like, do I have to pretend to like this song? And it was actually such a banger. Um, and my favorite, favorite part of the night was when we all just jumped into the water. There's this part in the castle where it was like meant for the boats. And last minute, our wedding planner was like, you can't jump in the water, and we did it anyway. We did it anyway. And my golly a la hob. And honestly, it was the best part of the night.

SPEAKER_00

It was a super cool finale, right? It was a finale, end of the night. Everybody jumps in the water, and then we got on the ferry, went back at 4 a.m. The next day. We got everybody up to go on a yacht at 12 o'clock, uh, which was pretty ballsy on our part. A lot of people were like, we're not gonna make it, we're not gonna make it. But they did, and I was like, You're gonna miss out.

SPEAKER_03

Ended up being we had fresh fish and chicken and an open bar and a yacht in the middle of the Mediterranean Ocean, and it was just the best way to recover and maybe talk to some of the people that you wouldn't be able to get to talk to the day before. And it was just such a fun time where everyone could just like decompress and and talk and not worry about their hair, makeup.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was it was just it was it was really a recovery day. Like it was just a moment where everybody got to just relax a little bit, decompress a little, but still be around friends and family, you know. Again, they came all the way out there.

SPEAKER_03

It's like you don't want to say bye.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly. So this was a good bye. Um, it was a good chance for us to all say bye, and then we went on our honeymoon.

SPEAKER_03

Uh, to Santorini, Greece, literally the most peaceful and stunning and unique place. The whole trip was just the most unique places we could find.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. And like, you know, when we were doing our honeymoon, you know, we we thought about Albania, right? Maybe a safari. Right. We were doing certain things, but I had never been to Santorini before, but I knew it was busy season, right? I knew there was gonna be tourists around, and I was like, whatever, let's just deal with it. It didn't feel that way.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_00

It really did. It felt like we had the whole island. There were certain parts, obviously, where there were gonna be tourists, you just don't go there. But every morning was magical. It was just us, it was quiet, it was peaceful.

SPEAKER_03

We were also like sleeping in, and we had one of those like fun cave um hotels that had its own pool. So we just had no rush. We had zero plans. I know I wanted to do a boat day, and I wanted to get the go-karts around the island, and we that's literally all the plans we had. The food was amazing, we snorkeled, we got so tan. We did a private yacht, so we just had like the whole thing to ourselves, and it it felt really like what a honeymoon should feel like.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was just a way for us to relax, just the two of us, after all the menace of a wedding. I think the yacht was probably my favorite. 100 just us two on this this catamaran.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think we made baby number two on this catamaran, but we definitely did Santorini. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Santorini is gonna hold a special place in the boards. Uh but yeah, I don't know. I it's it's there's I want to retire in a boat. That's kind of like what I want to do. I want to sail the world. I don't know how to sail. I've never really lived on the boat, but that's just what I have in mind. So this is a fun moment.

SPEAKER_03

Weirdly enough, so do I. Yeah, yeah. So this is lived on a boat.

SPEAKER_00

But this was like one of those moments where it was like, could we do this kind of thing, you know?

SPEAKER_03

And oh, I know I can. I've done yacht week a couple of times, and it's weird because it was a real, really weird full circle moment for me because I've done yacht week, single, whatever, at like 23, 25 years old, and now I'm married.

SPEAKER_00

So true.

SPEAKER_03

Back in Greece, where I did yacht week, and um it was really cool that I was able to like share that with you, and then you also being so excited, and then me feeling like it was something that we were always meant to do together. Why am I gonna cry?

SPEAKER_00

It's so true. It was so those of you that don't know, um, Santorini is a volcano, so the towns are built on the rim of the volcano, which is mind-blowing to me. It's mind-blowing. So I was geeking out the whole time about all that. G was you know exploring on paddle boards, going running away.

SPEAKER_03

Way too far.

SPEAKER_00

The captain yelling at her, come back, come back.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm like, no. Just sick and doubting antibiotics and drinking bottles of champagne. Let's go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she was a trooper, she wasn't feeling great, obviously. Body was run down a little bit. Just a tad. Uh, but yeah, it was it was the perfect honeymoon. I couldn't think of a better honeymoon. No, it was just so relaxing for us. Um, and I I don't think we'd we'd pick a different place. No, in fact, I think it jumped into my top five all the time.

SPEAKER_02

I paddled out a quarter mile because I paddled out to the rocks, to a cave, and I heard his voice, like literally Jesus, calling out to me, and I couldn't even see him because the sun and the water were in my eyes.

SPEAKER_00

I just hear her go, how are you doing that?

SPEAKER_03

And uh, pro tip if you do have a boat for the whole day, bring a change of clothes. The sunsets in Santorini are absolutely insane, and you don't want to miss it. So you might want to do some fun photos and change your outfit. And um, that's exactly how we ended our honeymoon and the 21 days in Europe wouldn't change a thing.

SPEAKER_00

I agree, it wouldn't change a thing. All I'm gonna get emotional now, all 21 days like was something special, you know. Whether it would be we were in Napoli and then we were in Capri and then we were in Sorrento, we went to Pompeii, then we went to Venice with our family, Rome, over, you know, it just the whole trip is just incredible memories. You know what I mean? It felt like from beginning to end just really special and it was great.

SPEAKER_03

And we travel a lot, right? And we we know like the logistics and the 10 bags and the baby and the the hotels and this. And so that really this was just like our Olympics of like we can do it, and we're gonna bring 89 people along to do it with us. Um I'm gonna cry. It was so great.

SPEAKER_00

It was. And I want to get into because we got we got you know asked a lot, like, why did we let you know people post in the moment? And this was something we talked about a lot. We chatted about this a lot and we decided that we didn't want guests to feel like they were at a quote unquote content creator's wedding, an influencer's wedding, a celebrity's wedding, whatever it was. We wanted people to feel like they were at their best friend's wedding.

SPEAKER_04

Right, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

And however you would post at your friend's wedding is how we wanted them to post at our wedding. And I'm really glad we did that. And because we people didn't have to put their phones away. They could live in the moment, but at the same time, they could still record fun moments that they wanted.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, we got to really see it through their eyes, right? And I didn't want anyone to feel restricted or like, oh no, I can't post that. So, like, why take a photo or a video of that? I will say, don't post the bride's dress before the bride. I will say that. That's just like common sense. But everything else was great. Like the way that people were just taking their own memories and feeling like it was their vacation and our wedding was the main event, right? Like, that's how I wanted it to feel, and I think we nailed it.

SPEAKER_00

I agree. And it was cool. We created a shared album afterwards, like like you talked about, and everybody's just dumped all their photos and videos in it. So then we gotta watch our wedding through their eyes, like you said. So it was really cool. I'm so glad we did it that way, and we wouldn't put everybody's phones in Ziploc and have all these NDAs and all that. We didn't want to do any of that. So I'm really happy we did that. I don't think I would change that.

SPEAKER_03

And a lot of people were like, Well, you posted so much, and yeah, we posted three times a day and we had the time of our lives. And I flew out four photographers and videographers so that I could enjoy my wedding and get all of the memories and all of the fun content because people have been with us from Love is Blind and The Bachelorette, and they saw us from the beginning down to the fairy tale ending, and I wanted everyone to feel like they were there with us, but I also didn't want to be glued to my phone, which I wasn't. I had a whole team of people.

SPEAKER_00

Running her socials, running my socials, running our socials. We wanted to live in the moment, but still have the content. Because, like you said, I and it was cool. People got to watch our wedding through other people's content.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

Like they started following certain people and watching theirs, so they got to see for like you said too, from the beginning, from the welcome party in Venice, yeah, all the way to the boat day. Yeah, people got to follow along, um, which was and and yet we still got to live in the moment.

SPEAKER_03

So it was the perfect combination of everything. I'm so grateful that we had such amazing partners. And what is in Croatia? Grand Park Hotel, um showroom events and designs, like showroom designs and events. Uh so stunning, so gorgeous. Literally made it the most picture perfect wedding. And I didn't have to stress out about a single thing. When I say I didn't stress out about how it was gonna look, how it was gonna taste, none of that. And that's just so special. I mean, I just want to say something really quick too, just on destination weddings in general, is again I'm getting asked a lot, and I'll dive into my QA's, is like, how is it the logistics of a destination wedding? And I'm like, well, if you're gonna do it in Europe specifically, just understand the culture, right? Understand that they they work at a very leisurely pace. And if you are someone that needs an answer right away, you're talking to them probably eight, nine, seven, six hours ahead of time, and they're probably not gonna get to you for like another two to three days. They do 40 weddings at a time. They also kind of pick up the pace a little bit closer than when the wedding gets there. So you're probably gonna be planning till the end of the day, like till the end, like the 11th hour. But also, they worked on an honor system, at least in Croatia. We went to go visit them in July last year, and we said, Yep, we like this, this, this, and that. She goes, Great, sounds good. I didn't talk to her for three to four months, and I'm like, Hey, honey, sorry, I've been really busy. Do I need to send you like a down payment or anything? She goes, No, everything's booked.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, What do you mean?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, very differently over there than here.

SPEAKER_03

She's like, Yeah, we work on an honor system. And I'm like, over here in the United States, they wouldn't lift a finger unless they got like 50% down. Or a contract of something. Or a contract. Nothing. It was just so peaceful and relaxed up until I was still planning until like the last minute. But I'm like that. And so I felt I felt very comfortable in that chaos. Anyway, that's just something to probably expect if you are uh planning a wedding in a destination. But uh to that, I have some QA's if you guys wanna get some of your questions answered. Like, for example, one of the most asked about questions, this one is from it's Kathleen Lara. It's a variation of the same question, and it's how much did it cost? Range is fine. Trying to see US versus destination wedding pricing.

SPEAKER_00

This is a great question because I I wasn't against a destination wedding, I just never pictured a destination wedding for myself. So when G kind of came to me with, hey, I want to get married in Croatia, I was like, What? I had the same question Kathleen did. Uh I was like, what does that entail?

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um, and I was surprised. You can I'll just put it this way value-wise. The dollar goes a lot further. Not obviously the dollar's not as strong as the euro, but it's still value-wise, like you still get more for a euro over there than you would a dollar here.

SPEAKER_03

I would, and before I drive into like actual numbers, because I will, I'll tell you, I just want to say, like, I feel like there is more of a humanity over there. If I say like, hey, I really want this wedding to feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, they're like, okay, we're gonna do absolutely every single thing possible, not we're gonna charge you more for that. Do you know what I mean? I feel like they were always so accommodating. And they were, and if if there was um something that went wrong, or I just feel like it was so normal, like what human beings are supposed to do for each other to have a good experience, versus this is a money-making machine, this is a billion-dollar industry, this wedding venue is a $20,000 wedding venue, so we're gonna charge you $50 because it's a wedding. I didn't feel that. So that to me is priceless. I just felt like that weighs into so much of the value of a wedding. So, for example, everyone's asking, it's part of the Q ⁇ A too, is like, why did you choose Roman? So this ties into the finance question. I was looking, first of all, my family is have Croatian and Italian. Turns out those are the two countries where we started celebrating our wedding. Um, and I was gonna want to get married in Croatia, so I started looking at venues one time through When It's in Croatia, their website, and I saw Hooterot Castle, and I just about died. I was like, this is exactly what Blake would love. This is what I love. It's it feels grand, yeah, intimate. Um, it's on the beach, like there's a there's water everywhere, it just feels literally perfect. Like, how much is it? The venue is $4,000.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, think about that, guys. That venue in the Saints is $40,000.

SPEAKER_03

Plus the rotunda, I think the rotunda is like an extra $1,500. So overall, it was $5,500 for our venue. How many venues have you looked at where it's a hotel conference room, no shade, but it's like $15,000, $20,000?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what I will say. I will say that the wedding that we threw, and this we did 21 days in Europe. So we're gonna count literally 21 days in Europe. We're gonna count 21 days how much money we spent. It would have been double for three days in the States for that wedding. That wedding that we had in America would have been double the price.

SPEAKER_03

At least. And we did it, we were in Europe for three weeks. I was able to fly out family from Venezuela. I was able to give accommodations to family, to photographers, videographers, saxophone players, um, hair and makeup. Like I I was able to get a team of people over there. And it still was less than how much it would have been if I would have done it literally down the street. So we did have amazing partners. Grand Park, weddings in Croatia, showroom designs. We got fantastic partnerships that we are so fortunate and blessed to utilize and take advantage of without those partnerships. The whole wedding.

SPEAKER_00

Three weeks.

SPEAKER_03

Three weeks. Rehearsals, welcome party, wedding day, reception until 4 a.m. and recovery boat day. 250.

SPEAKER_00

Here in the US.

SPEAKER_03

It would have been $250,000.

SPEAKER_00

And here in the US, I think it would have been half a day.

SPEAKER_03

For one day.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, half a half a day.

SPEAKER_03

It would have been $250,000. With lobster Zotos, entertainment, private boats, top 10 uh hotel accommodations, um, seven videographers and wedding and wedding photographers because the venue also supplied some. Top tier head-to-toe florals, the wedding cake. The one day would have been $250,000. We had the our wedding go from 5 p.m. till 5 a.m. By the time we left the island, it was a 12-hour wedding. Show me a wedding that you can have for 12 hours to that tier for less. Yeah. In the United States.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you just get you just get more value over there. I mean, 21, 21 days in Europe, two 250 with a wedding, and then here it would have been half a half a million. It would have been $500,000.

SPEAKER_03

So for us, we paid in total.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, with our discounts and stuff, we paid substantially less with our partnerships and stuff. With our partnerships. Yeah, with our partnerships and stuff.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, but do you want to say how much?

SPEAKER_00

Not really, but if you want to.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, well, did we go over or under budget?

SPEAKER_00

No, we I think we were right there. Like I think what we budgeted, especially for three weeks.

SPEAKER_03

It was three weeks in Europe. And we were also able to help out family and friends.

SPEAKER_00

Was that 150? We're about 150? 130?

SPEAKER_03

Okay, okay. Including my dresses. Oh. Including my dresses. And honestly, there was like some last minute things I had to pick up. 150.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, about 150, 160, maybe. Um I think 150. Because there was some, but I had to like buy more champagne at the reception. Uh yeah, 160 with a honeymoon. We'll say 160. Let's say 160.

SPEAKER_03

So over a year.

SPEAKER_00

That's insane. That's an insane. Like that. In America, 160 gets you four hours at a venue with food, floral drinks.

SPEAKER_03

Like And we picked like the top tier of everything, which is just the best value.

SPEAKER_00

To answer the question, you're Wow, that was a really long answer. The value just goes a lot further overseas in certain places. Um, you do have to deal with, you know, maybe some language barriers and some other things when it comes to the leisurely way they do things over there, but it's in our opinion, it's worth it. Um, and I think that our guests enjoyed and made it a vacation and made it their own vacation, you know, with our wedding thrown in there, which is was our goal. That's what we wanted. You know, I like to say that we we loved them so much we forced them to have a vacation in Europe.

SPEAKER_03

We literally did.

SPEAKER_00

And I think they enjoyed it. So, all in all, highly recommend destination wedding. We'll do it again.

SPEAKER_03

Um next question. Next question. And maybe we'll keep them a little shorter. This next question is from Christian Klinker. Hopefully I said that right. What is the main thing you're glad you did for your wedding and one thing you wish you did?

SPEAKER_00

I feel like we did so many. I mentioned them all in the video. I feel like we did so many cool things, whether it be the crazy hour with the entertainment. I think that's really important. The wedding cake in the middle of the dance floor, I think that was really cool. And then I think the recovery day. I think those three things are things that I'm so glad we did that I had never been to a wedding that had any of those things. So those are.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna honestly say, like my mindset, which because there are so many times that you can plan the perfect something or, you know, birthday party, wedding day, like whatever. But if you're not in the right mindset, like you cannot enjoy it no matter what. And I just knew that that was not going to happen to me. I was like, I don't care, you know, if there's a feud that breaks out, if some if the food doesn't, I if the food is three hours late, like I don't care. I completely just surrendered to the day down to when I got those big black tar patches on my wedding day. I was like, to fix it. I'm not gonna walk, but fix it. And it got fixed. And I didn't cry and I didn't yell and I didn't make anyone feel stupid or dumb or anything. I was just like, this is a this is an issue, fix it. And I feel like because I was so relaxed that when I did make a a demand or I did make uh a request, people were that more intent to listen. Right. And so it just felt uh weirdly enough, one of the most peaceful days of my life.

SPEAKER_00

That is crazy. What about what is something that you wish we would have done? Fireworks.

SPEAKER_04

I wish I had the fireworks.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think I don't know where we would have fit the fireworks.

SPEAKER_03

I know, I know where we were fair.

SPEAKER_00

Because we were, but we were already running, so I don't know. Because we cut, we had to cut a few things.

SPEAKER_03

Like, while you were DJing, honey, like we could have done it harder.

SPEAKER_00

I got one, so I wish so um and the he the hectic night of it all with us running a little late. Well, two things. First of all, at the reception, our plan was to have some speeches. Um, some friends, you know, make speeches, and then at the wedding.

SPEAKER_03

The rehearsal.

SPEAKER_00

Sorry, sorry, sorry. At the rehearsal, we had planned to have some friends make some speeches um and then save the wedding day for just family. But the rehearsal literally was so hot, so hot that a lot of people left early. And I like I didn't want people to have to stand there in the sun making speeches. So, like, we kind of just forgot, more or less, and we kind of were like, put it on the back end. So then the night of the wedding, everybody wanted to make a speech. Um, and unfortunately, I had to cut out a couple of my friends. Um, and you know, I mean, we probably spent a good 30, 40 minutes on speeches, which also slowed things down a little bit.

SPEAKER_03

But people were eating while people were making speeches. It's not like it was like this dead end.

SPEAKER_00

But sometimes that can kill the mood.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but I'm glad we did it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm glad we got the speeches. But my point is, I wish we would have done it at the rehearsal.

SPEAKER_03

No, I don't have to.

SPEAKER_00

So I would say if you if you don't want 10 speeches at your wedding, in your reception, playing some the night before at the rehearsal or or whatever it is.

SPEAKER_03

And this next one we share. We share this next shoulda, coulda, woulda.

SPEAKER_00

I fucked up immensely. Um I unfortunately, and nobody ever mentioned it to us, and I don't know why I didn't think of it.

SPEAKER_03

Single person, not the wedding planner.

SPEAKER_00

And it's something I'm gonna regret the rest of my life is I didn't get a a wedding dance with my mom.

SPEAKER_03

Or my dad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and she didn't dance with her dad. I don't, we literally are idiots. Like I and I know that it would have been such a special moment, but it just it we didn't get to it. We didn't even, it didn't, it wasn't even in our like itinerary, and it's like it makes me feel so I've literally cried myself to sleep at night thinking about it because it's it would have been such a special moment, and I completely dropped the ball, and that's sad, it sucks. And I'm gonna have to make it up to my mom somehow, but it sucks.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and my dad. Yeah, yeah, that's one we both wish we had back we could have done it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so it's real bummer. Um okay, maybe one more.

SPEAKER_03

Did you have someone take care of your son for the wedding? How did that all work out?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that is a good question. So Heath is two and three months, uh, so he's in that age where he's he's hectic, you know. He he wants to run around and everyone's lit still. Um, he wants to be the center of attention, he wants our attention. Um, so obviously, leading up to the wedding, it was just us in Italy. That was hard, especially you go out to eat pretty much every night, and you know how it is taking a toddler to a restaurant. Um, it's a little hectic. We were chasing him around a lot. We would just take turns. We would just take turns, be like, hey, I'm gonna finish eating. You go chase after him, and vice versa. And then all the actual wedding events.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_00

We had grandparents there, um, sisters, cousins who also have kids, so they understand it. Guests who were more like to our like literally more than willing to take care of Heath. Like, I give gotta give a huge shout out to Danny. Oh my god. Our friend. She literally, Astrid as well. She literally fell asleep on her. They were all everybody, so first of all, everybody loves him ready. Yeah, everybody loves Heath and kids. So like everybody kind of wanted to hang out with him, but Astrid changed um his diaper in the middle of our wedding, in the middle of a reception.

SPEAKER_03

Like, it was just the Danny changes diaper sense of community. Like, I had I had family bring their nannies along, and I thought that that was kind of gonna be the the situation.

SPEAKER_02

But really, what just melted my heart, and I'm gonna cry literally just like this is how just how much they love our baby, so that they wanted to take care of him for us, and so that he had fun and that we had fun, and that everyone it was just this big sense of community, and I was not expecting my friends to nurture my child.

SPEAKER_03

Um, and like we've, you know, we were with him too, but you're just being pulled in so many different directions, and you want to be able to enjoy your wedding so much. And I just wasn't expecting that. Like weddings, weddings are so telling in like the best ways possible, and then also you get to realize like who your true friends are, like really who your true friends are, who who congratulates you, who watches your kid, who um flies all the way out to Rome. Flies all the way out there, you know, and if you if they can't make it, like we understand. We understand, but just like I've had so many friends just like send me like tokens of just like just like love and affection and appreciation, but just the fact that they took care of Heath for us.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Danny literally, and and another thing that maybe I regret a little bit, but it happens at weddings is we got pictures with nobody other than family, like we hadn't we didn't have pictures with our guests. Part of that was because we were enjoying and it was such a good part, and everybody was having, but also like everybody was so great taking care of Heath that like they they the moments they had, spare moments they had, they were with Heath, which was really special. No, instead of taking pictures of uh with us, I took pictures with them.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't take pictures, I grabbed them and I put them over there and I was like, let's take photos.

SPEAKER_00

I unfortunately didn't take pictures with anybody, but Danny didn't get a single photo with anything.

SPEAKER_03

No, she didn't, but she so also when we walked around the dinner tables like saying hi to people, um, they people took advantage of that and they were like, Oh, we're doing selfies right now. I was like, sure. And so I liked that. Um, if you're planning a wedding, I would if you didn't get photos with people like officially standing somewhere, that would be a good moment to do it when you're going around the dinner table saying hi, just kind of they can snap. And um, and so many of the photos that people posted of me were just us doing a selfie at the dinner table.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I didn't do that. Yeah, I didn't do that with your own.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Anyway, the thing with Heath, one thing I just want to harp on to is especially if you're doing a destination wedding, make sure that you have time together, just with the baby. Um, because yeah, we like we we were in it. We were in it. Yeah. Um, but that made a huge difference. He was very, very happy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he was. He was the center of attention on the dance for break dancing. Oh my god. People loved him. He was he he had so much fun. He stayed up. He took little power naps throughout the night, but he stayed up till what 2 a.m. I think.

SPEAKER_03

No, he is our son through and through.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, 2 a.m. he went and then he went back to the room with my mom. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

No, it was great.

SPEAKER_00

All in all, the wedding was spectacular. I hope you guys enjoyed the content because there will be more.

SPEAKER_03

There will be more.

SPEAKER_00

We're not even close to done with the content till the day I die. But for real.

SPEAKER_03

Uh no, it was fantastic. Thank you guys so much for being so supportive and lovely and wanting to just be a part of our um love story and journey, especially as a family, because um, yeah, we got the fairy tale ending, but we're still kicking. We still have more, we still have so many more adventures. It's literally just starting, um, which is honestly the most exciting part of all this whole thing.

SPEAKER_00

So, yeah, as you guys saw uh in the vlog and through the content and everything, we had some bachelor people there. We had some love is blind ladies there.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, and one of them was Raven, and actually, Justin was supposed to be at the wedding. He was invited, unfortunately, backed out kind of last minute, but um we did talk to Raven.

SPEAKER_03

We did, she had a blast, by the way.

SPEAKER_00

She had a blast at the wedding. They all those ladies did. All they did. They had a great time at the wedding, but it was really fun to have everybody there.

SPEAKER_03

Jess looked great, everyone looked great.

SPEAKER_00

It was it was a blast.

SPEAKER_03

Taylor Krauss is fantastic. Alex is hilarious, Colleen was like single girl living it up, like traveling around all by herself. But back to Raven, Blake actually got the tea.

SPEAKER_00

So we were on uh we were on the recovery day on the boat, and uh Jason actually asked and was like, because Jason and Justin had just hung out before uh he had left, and Jason was like, So, like what what happened, you know, with like like Raven and Justin? And and I was like, immediately I like started eavesdropping. I was sitting next to Jason. And she basically said, like, well, you know, he didn't really reach out afterwards. And me and Jason both went, What? What do you mean? Like, what do you mean? Like, he seems so into you. Um, so unfortunately, yeah, they they didn't go on a second date. Um, we're gonna have to contact Justin because yeah, Raven was kind of like, I was, you know, interested in maybe continuing to talk, and but he he didn't uh reciprocate.

SPEAKER_03

Well, the thing is he literally went to Africa less than 24 hours. 12 hours. Literally.

SPEAKER_00

That night he left for Africa for two weeks. So that might have had something to do with it.

SPEAKER_03

I think that has a lot more weight than we thought. Because, for example, I'm thinking about it and I'm like, okay, I just hit it off with this person, but I'm leaving 12 hours away. I won't be able to really communicate. I'll hit them up once I'm back, maybe, right? I don't want to seem too eager. I don't know. Okay. But then 10 days goes by. And then you're like and maybe it's too late. She didn't like a photo or this.

SPEAKER_00

Modern dating in a next one.

SPEAKER_03

Or she didn't even she didn't look at your stories, or maybe she did, but she didn't comment, or vice versa. And then at that point, it's just awkward. It's just awkward. So let we're gonna cut the awkwardness here. It's okay to talk if you want.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it'll be interesting. We will have to talk to Justin because um that's what Raven said. And me and Jason were both like, what do you mean? Wait, what? He seems so into you. So there's a little update. Uh, unfortunately, they are not dating anymore. Um I like that one. I'd love that one.

SPEAKER_03

I liked that one.

SPEAKER_00

Um, I don't know. We'll have to talk to Justin. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's okay, we'll keep going. We'll go.

SPEAKER_00

We got some more Starcross lineup. We've actually had, I mean, we just had Demario and Arya.

SPEAKER_03

We have to Demaria.

SPEAKER_00

Demaria. Demaria, which I thought was hilarious.

SPEAKER_03

And I thought they were great. I think they matched each other's energy really well. They live in the same city.

SPEAKER_00

That's true.

SPEAKER_03

So I think that's gonna be That's true. Ding.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, we'll uh we'll get some more, we'll keep we'll keep these Starcross uh updates coming, you guys, because I know we get DMs and comments and everywhere, YouTube, Instagram, about it.

SPEAKER_03

And we're working on getting one of your highly requested people on there. Yes. Uh, but keep telling us who you want. Yeah, more Starcraft to come.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So it's gonna be great.

SPEAKER_00

So keep tuning in each week, you guys. Be sure to like, comment, subscribe, subscribe, subscribe. Uh, and we'll see you next week.

SPEAKER_03

Also, did you like this vlog? Should we do more vlogs like this?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, let us know about, you know, we could do some like, I don't know, some music festival vlogs, things like that, and kind of talk through it.

SPEAKER_03

Just in general, let us know if you like this format. We can definitely sprinkle it in uh because there's more exciting news to come. Yes. Wow. He said what?

SPEAKER_00

No way she said that.
