SPEAKER_01What? None of the other, man. D kind of play a big erupt.
SPEAKER_04Y'all already know what time it is. Open lock of cash city went woo over town, little Haiti. I'm talking about Big Haiti. Where Mac is all from. I'm in the building with the businesses, baby.
SPEAKER_01I like that right there. I like that right there. Hey, listen. You know how we do it over here. You gotta pop your own bottle over here. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, listen, man. We're cheering to bigger up. You know what I'm saying? Prosperity, man. And it's elevation. This is what it is about. I want you to elevate because you came in here. I like the way you came. Yes, sir. I want you to elevate, my brother.
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm told and the best to you. And that's an executive order.
SPEAKER_06Ah. She gave me a big cup.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Play with it. Yeah. Yeah. I think we got us a new little sippy sip while we on the phone.
SPEAKER_01Let me ask you something, right? How'd you get the name Big Erup?
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Big Erup came from my dog, man, Red Dot. I remember when I had first jumped, 1999. It was big. Man, I wanted to get in the studio.
SPEAKER_01You came home in 99?
SPEAKER_0499.
SPEAKER_01That's when I came home. I came home in 99. When you came home, what?
SPEAKER_0499. I was in 99 boys. But man, he put me in that studio the first time I opened up my mouth. He said he stopped the music. And he was like, boy, you was looking for a name. He said, you just got it, boy. You just erupted on that thing, man. I'm gonna play it back. I say, you know what? From that day forward, I shortened it. Big E. Big, and I went to Big Eruption. Then I shortened it back to Big Erupt. Because when I do make it, it's gonna be a big eruption. You hear me? It's gonna be worldwide. I like that. I like that. Dave.
SPEAKER_01Dave County.
SPEAKER_04Opalaka, Cass City, Winwood, Overtown, Lil Haiti. All that, all that.
SPEAKER_01I'm talking about Big Haiti with Papa Zoe from. Yeah, way back then. Way back then. That's what it is. That's what it is, boy. Let me let me let me let me ask you something, right? First question I want to ask you, right? How do you feel about Dave County with the music scene?
SPEAKER_04Whew, man. You really want to ask you? Yeah, I gotta ask you that.
SPEAKER_01That's I, you know, I got my I got myself written down. I I I need I need to know because and why I why I make it but the first question is because the way you came in.
SPEAKER_04The way you're moving.
SPEAKER_01The way you're moving.
SPEAKER_04Alright, so I'm gonna take it back. I remember at Caramont when I seen the big dog on the blue Chevy, Flow Rider, Pit Bull, Rick Ross, everybody, do it big. They went up. And ever since that day, I was like, damn it. But if they can do it, I can do it. So the music scene after that, it just went flat because everybody was waiting for the next wave of artists that's gonna come through.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like that.
SPEAKER_04It didn't happen. It didn't happen. And I kept wondering, I'm like, what the hell going on? A lot of stuff was said, a lot of things was going around, this, that, uh, but that wasn't it. The scene wasn't ready. We had to be nurtured. So, right now, how I feel about the music scene now, at how far it done came, man, man, we got so much talent down here. Boy, do we? Man, these motherfuckers say that we ain't got no talent out here before they dead wrong. They tripping. And you know who's showing them right now?
SPEAKER_01Ross. Ross.
SPEAKER_04Trick Daddy. Yeah. Flow rider. Yeah. Showing them. They're showing them. Right now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01We got plenty of artists down here. Everything is timing, you know. Everything is timing. A lot of time, a lot of people be wanting things to happen when they ready to happen. It's not gonna happen like that. Because time heals everything. Yeah, facts. Facts. So you are you you you are you're and I see you you write books. Oh man. What you got? What you got? Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
SPEAKER_04Hold on, hold on.
SPEAKER_01You wrote a book, and you about to write yours, uh uh Walk the Walk.
SPEAKER_04Man, I wrote my first book. It's called Executive Order. Okay. It's named after my album. It's named after my hold on, this the one? Oh yeah, this for Papa Zora. Oh man. I got one for everybody. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he liked that.
SPEAKER_04He liked that.
SPEAKER_01He liked that boy, because he when he don't get gifted, he gets mad.
SPEAKER_04I already knew that was gonna happen.
SPEAKER_01He gets mad when he don't get gifted.
SPEAKER_04I even got one for the cameraman and the camera girl. Because I knew it was a couple of artists, a couple of people that was here. And I really want y'all to dig in. Y'all get to know who I am.
SPEAKER_01Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_04You know, it took me a minute to do that because I'm a very private, private, private person. Shots out of Ace Magazine. Shout out to Ace Magazine, my boy. That's my boy. I see him at the car show. And why you doing that? Why you sitting there reading about who I am? I became who I am. I want you to pop that bottle. Oh that's what's gonna bring you back.
SPEAKER_01I miss you, Magazine. Shout out to my nigga, Mac Man already. Give me a bottle. Yeah, that's yeah, that's bust. That's special, my dear.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna have to bust that one down. I had that imported just for purpose of uh he said I gotta bust it down, boy.
SPEAKER_01Sh I gotta bust it down here. I'ma mix it with my goddamn drink. He never had this. Have you ever had this? My bad. I forgot I forgot who he is. I forgot who he is. Shut up the drink chap. He buffed another drink chip. I never drink everything over there. Drink everything. Shut up the drink chap.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_00So hey, that's what's up, man.
SPEAKER_04Man, it's just a blessing to just be here. You hear me? And uh when I seen them boys do it, I knew it was, I knew it was possible for me to do it. That's why I dropped my new book, my new memoir, they call it. You know what I mean? I I made it short so that way you don't get bored. That's what's up. You know, hard copy on the way, however, I made a little small memoir, 48 pages. That way you can go along with the album. Executive order, loyalty, respect, honor. Because that's what I represent. That's my code, that's what I live by.
SPEAKER_00What does legacy mean to leave you on?
SPEAKER_04Legacy is leaving something like right now today, so the people can see. Connecting with my fans so they can see, you feel what I'm saying, how far done came and where I'm going for my daughter. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought that wasn't gonna happen, but it happened. When I say God is good, He good.
SPEAKER_00All the time.
SPEAKER_04He good. So legacy means everything to me at this point. Because who's gonna stick around to tell my story? Who gonna tell your story? I wanna be around and tell my own story. I wanna tell people about who I am. I don't want nobody else to tell them who I am so they can fabricate it. So they can throw it, throw salt on it. I'm gonna tell you who I am and where I came from. That's why I wrote um executive order, so I can give you a glimpse about who I am, how I came about. And I learned from the best. Because I done seen him when he did it. I seen him when they all did it. And I'm just a student. I'm just watching. I'm soaking up all the game on how they do it. Executive order, loyalty, respect, honor. What what what yeah, what what loyalty, what loyalty mean to you? Loyalty means everything to me. If I respect you for what you do, and you tell me, hey, this gonna run you da-da-da. I gotta respect that. If Walt the Walt tell me, hey, man, this is what we do over here, you know what I mean? I'ma respect that. And I'm gonna I'ma honor that. And loyalty is everything. If I give you my word, that's what it is. Your word is your balls. Everything that's the area I come from. Yeah, exactly. Facts. My balls, it's my word. And that's all I can stand on.
SPEAKER_01I like that. I like that. I pick loyalty over love all day.
SPEAKER_04Every day.
SPEAKER_01All day.
SPEAKER_04All day. You got to. You know why? And there ain't many people out there loyalty loyal to anybody. They'll say yeah, in a minute. Go right behind you and say something crazy. Crazy.
SPEAKER_01And you know, you're up, you know what I you know one thing that I believe in. Like I always say, loyalty is a two-way street. How you want to be loyal to you, but you ain't loyal to me. Exactly. That shit ain't no one-way street. And some niggas be want, some people be wanting to be loyal to them, but they ain't loyal to you though.
SPEAKER_04Exactly. That's why it's a two-way street. When you come up, when you think about that whole Gucci situation, it's a business and an artist standpoint of how things went. Right, right. You feel what I'm saying? I seen it from the executive side. I seen it from the artist side. And loyalty is everything. Everything. Once you break that, that's it.
SPEAKER_01It's over.
SPEAKER_04It's over. Ain't no coming back from that. You break that with me, that's it. That's a wrap. I'd rather just keep it moving.
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean? And it's all love. If you had a chance to start your career from the beginning, what would it be? How would you start it?
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna give y'all a story I ain't never told nobody. I remember I was in the studio, I was recording on the FUP mob album, Shots out to Reality. FUP mob. Ross hit me. He was like, eh. Boy, we need to do something, boy. I just seen that billboard. It was up for a whole year. He said, hey, we need to do something. I say, man, I just spent die, I spent like 40 racks putting together that thing, trying to put it out, then we went on tour. It was successful. But if I can restart my career, I would say, boy, hey, meet me over here at 8 o'clock, boy, let's do it. If I can restart that. So that's something that you should have done. And I took that to heart. Three months later, hustling, hustling, hustling, hustling, hustling. I say, God damn it. But he left me a drop though. He did that off the screen. He said, Man, I respect that. Do your thing. But then I say, damn, I could have had one. But I ain't give up though. A couple months later, C Rod seen me in the studio inside the club one night and was like, Eee, boy, we need to do something. Say, boy, when you want to be? I got a studio time set up right now. I'll never take that. I'll never take that chance again. You hear me? I never take that chance again.
SPEAKER_01You'll never lose on an opportunity again. That's what be it.
SPEAKER_04I restart it at that point right there.
SPEAKER_01That's big. Shit. Yeah. You know, uh, that's the thing with life. You know what I'm saying? You you you you you do certain things and and then it come back. Either on a negative or on a positive. Positive. Yeah, you can't. You feel me? You either gonna be prosperous from it, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Or there you go. You absolutely learn from it, you build off of it. There you go. But at the same time, though, I never I ain't never give up. So I know when they do come, oh man, that shit gonna be special.
SPEAKER_01Man, I I I I I ain't I ain't gonna lie, man. I'm you know me, I'm I'm gonna be straight up, right? I did not know what to expect from with you. I really didn't. But goddamn, boy, you you you w you wows me, boy. I understand. You wows me, you wow, you know what I'm saying? Ain't too many, ain't too many people, you know what I'm saying, wows me. You know what I'm saying? You know, that's why, you like, you see, you know, we talk on the phone, you know what I'm saying, and you know, we we we we we holler, you know, but but this is our first time when we cross paths.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And it's like your energy, I live off of energy, man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm a Haitian nigga, man. I believe in spirit. Sakafe. Naboule already. When you came through that door, the energy was like, whoa. You feel me? And I'm hearing you talk right now. I ain't no cap now. I ain't capping. I don't fuck it, I don't believe. And I'm hearing you talking this the thing you saying, how you saying it, man. And then and then, you know, ain't nobody never bring me no damn alcohol. And then I did Barbara cool at it.
SPEAKER_04You know what I'm saying? I told my dog, when you come back from Haiti, man, bring me a barba barba cool. I got an interview with Papa Zoe, that's his. And he bought that.
SPEAKER_01And that's came from the that came from the motherland. Let me take a sip again. I gotta make sure Adrian get a sip over there because he's over there looking like he's sweating. He's gonna want to sweat though. A dog. Well, I love him though.
SPEAKER_04You already know what time it is, man.
SPEAKER_01There's one thing, man. I'm gonna tell you. Over here, man, on Papa Zoe Show. This ain't no podcast, man. This is a vibe. It's a vibe. You feel me? This is you gonna come over here, you're gonna party. That's why I call, I don't call it interview, I call it party view. You know what I'm saying? I everybody doing what they do. I respect them all. I want all of them to win, but I'm in my own lane. We in our own lane over here, and I don't, you know, I don't want to go to that person's lane. You feel me? If that person comes on my lane, then my crash out.
SPEAKER_04You already know what time it is. You can't do it like how you do it. You can't do it how they do it. But at the same time, y'all still run the same race and y'all trying to get to the same. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01But I'm but I but I'm not that one, I'm not that, I'm not that one person that won't reach out to, you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna reach out to it's all love to all of them, man. Hey, what's up, boy? What they do? You know what I'm saying? I'm it's all love. You know what I'm saying? Because the pie is big enough for everybody, man. That's the thing. That crab in the bucket, I ain't on that, boy.
SPEAKER_04But that's the way that that's the way the game is. You just gotta move and solid, make your moves, keep your face clean, and just keep just keep going.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Don't even worry about what's going on beside you, in front of you, and back of you. Keep your eyes on the prize. Yeah. Gotta keep going. Gotta keep rising.
SPEAKER_00How do you want to family when the family?
SPEAKER_04Man, about who I am. I I was just talking to my daughter before I left. She was like, Daddy, what you gonna do? I said, I gotta do another interview. I gotta sell these books. I gotta go sell this album. I gotta, I gotta go sell. I gotta go sell myself so we can have something in the future. I say, because it's gonna happen. And that's when I want to leave my family with something that, hey, I did that. This is who I am. Back then I couldn't show you who I am until 1999.
SPEAKER_01I don't mean to cut you off. Let me ask you something. Do you have a little short information infomercial about your book? Like a little do you got one?
SPEAKER_04Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_01I want you to send that to me. What I'm gonna do with it, I'm gonna, I'm gonna put it on my internet radio video station.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01And just, you know what I'm saying? So if, because remember, I'm worldwide with it. So if the world's gonna see it, if they reach out, you know, all your information on that little F, you know what I'm saying? So I'm gonna, I'm, I'm gonna try to, you know, do my part. You feel what I'm saying? Trying to put it out there, help you put it out there because nigga, I love your energy, nigga.
SPEAKER_04I want that. I want a hundred thousand copies available right now, exclusively on Amazon. If you look up Biggie Rub Executive Order, come right up, come right to the house. If you ain't get your copy right now, you can get it today. The album is there. The clothing line is up. Prentful.com. It's up. If you want it, it's there. But it'll be an honor, man, to send you that so that way people can be able to reach out to you.
SPEAKER_01All over the world. I'm gonna put it all over the world where it's gonna play. Like music videos plays and it'll play. A commercial play. Because, man, you know, it you know, it's people don't people don't, you know, everything ain't about everything in life ain't about money. You know what I'm saying? You know, uh a connection. Relationship. Relationship is big. That's what it's about. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04That brings, that brings more and more and more and more. That's just like marriage. Marriage is just like business. Yeah. You gotta, you gotta build on top of that. It's the same thing.
SPEAKER_01Especially now, marriage is business right now.
SPEAKER_04It ain't business. Back then, when my mama and my grandma now that's a good thing. You gotta compromise. You gotta, you gotta be able to do business, you gotta be able to build relationships, you gotta be able to have that loyalty to the people that you that that show you loyalty. You know what I mean? And keep it 100 at all times, no matter what.
SPEAKER_01Look, look, looking at, yo, looking at, yo, uh, when you when you started your career, right? Looking back when you started your career, okay, I'ma go, I'ma go to say, what mus, what, what, how, what music could have really, how music really changed your life?
SPEAKER_04Wow, that's crazy, bro. Uh, when I was a Jit, I used to listen to Scarface a lot. My favorite rapper. Man, he just taught that talk. I even thought one day he was gonna come get me. Sign. You know what I mean? Shut shot down now, it's real though. You know what I mean? So that that music right there changed my life. It taught me how to move. It taught me how to respect certain things, and knowing that when you go to different cities, respect their city. You feel what I'm saying? Shut out to the old man, Jay Prince. You know what I mean? I mean, they they really put it down, they really set the standards, Tony Trump. Raper, all them niggas set the standards. Suave house. Yeah. You feel what I'm saying? Eight ball, MJG, Mr. Mike. Ross started with Schwab House. Ross started with Schwab House. He slept on them boys' cats.
SPEAKER_01I remember I'm going to tell you a story, right? I'm going to tell you a story real quick about Ross with Swave House. I remember one day, right? I had got back from Carolina. I got back from Carolina. I went by his house. You know what I'm saying? And um he had a he had a cab. I just got back from Carolina. He had a cab waiting on him. So when I when I you know when I pull up, I pull up, his mama opened the door, his sister, you know, I said, what's up, boy? What's going on? Boy, I'm just poor. I'm just getting ready to go to Houston. Blah, blah, blah, blah. I said, a cab wait for me. Yeah, a cab waiting on you? Yeah, yeah. I said, man, fuck that nigga. You ride with me. I'll take you to the airport. And I never forget. He like, man, my nigga, Chi Man. Fuck that cab, man. Let that cab go. I got you. That cab changed. Angie Man told me, come on. So I took flap one to the, I took five one, you know, to the airport, man. But that's just something, you know, when you when you call Swab House, I remember that, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04They put it down, they put it in, they caught us a lot of stuff. You know what I mean? And then kind of just the just the early like 80s, 70s, coming to the 90s and all that.
SPEAKER_01And you know Lem G type of shit. That nigga used to love big boy Lemon G. For the South. For the You hoes lay it down. Come on, man. And don't forget that. Don't forget that Big Mike. Come on, man. You know what's that is in the tank? Oh no. Mr.
SPEAKER_04Mike.
SPEAKER_01Mr. Mike. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But but overall, man, in seriousness, when it comes down to that bread, you know what I'm saying, fame, what what motivates you besides the fame, besides the bread? What what motivates Big Mike, you know, Big Mike dig you up?
SPEAKER_04Man, what motivates me, man, is just uh just seeing how I can get in the studio and just not just create a song, but that that be the best part creating the album. You feel what I'm saying? Putting the final touches on that thing. You feel what I'm saying? That's my favorite part of it. Because I can sit there, I can write. I can sit there, I can put it together, and then bring the intro in, then bring the singers in, then put the outro in, put it back together, and then drop it, get the artwork together. You feel what I'm saying? Not just get the artwork together, get the marketing together, then launch it. And then go on a promo run, radio run, then promote it. You feel what I'm saying? Like that's that's the best part. Like seeing it come all to fruition. You know what I mean? That's my favorite part of the game. How do you stay true to your sound though? Man, just I listen to my own stuff. I listen to everybody's stuff. I catch a vibe. I go to the studio, I go to the club, I listen to everybody's stuff. I listen to, I catch a vibe. If I catch a vibe, I'm like, hey, I like that.
SPEAKER_01You see what I'm saying? We need to listen to something then. But at the same time. We need to listen to something. We need to listen to something. I want to hear something, because you, I want to hear something right now. All right, man. Go ahead. Drop, drop, drop, drop something real quick for me. I need to hear something. I want to hear it.
unknownI want to catch a vibe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Here you go. I want to catch a vibe with you.
SPEAKER_04The first one and the second one.
SPEAKER_01You know what's crazy? I was just talking to Bree right before right before I came in here. I was just, I was outside when I was loading up for the I just I was just talking to him. And this, and you gotta, you, you, you, you gotta real, this is real. This this is an album? That's on the album right now. How many songs you got in the album? How many, how many?
SPEAKER_0413. Good. Good. Supposed to be 14. Oh, which was I'm gonna say that one. You gonna say that one?
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna say that one for the next one.

SPEAKER_00With music and everything, you know what I'm saying, though. You got going on. What's one of the biggest lessons you learn from the streets?
SPEAKER_04Humble yourself. Respect the streets. Respect people hustle. And respect the grind. And when you out there, be respectful. Be humble. Yeah, yeah. And be grateful.
SPEAKER_06Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_04Because you ain't supposed to make it this far. They count us out at 15.
SPEAKER_01Oh. But we here, baby.
SPEAKER_04Oh, we're here.
SPEAKER_03Oh, let me tell you something, right?
SPEAKER_01I I'm looking, I'm looking at, you know, if you, you know, look at you look at my, you look at me like every morning, what I do, what I post, and I'm looking like, I'm right now I'm 60 years old. I'm trying to get there. Hey, it's like a blessing, dog. And I'm proud. I be proud. You know, niggas be like, man, be trying to blacken Beijing, they shit and all that. Nigga, I'm proud that God allowed me to seek 60, dawg. Cause shit's crazy out here. You know what I'm saying? Like, when I came, I came from Haiti when I was six years old. You feel me? And then it's like, I've seen so much, I've done so much. You know what I'm saying? I did seven in the, you know, the Federal Rally. My dog walked the walk. You know what I'm saying? It ain't it ain't about being being growing up together and all that. Nah, it's from the first day you met this motherfucker, they kept it real from the first day. From the jump. From the jump. And that's the same people.
SPEAKER_04That you want to keep round to get over. Exactly. Don't get up there and then switch out. Oh. But everybody ain't meant to go where you're going. Yeah. So when you do get there, you surround yourself with the best.
SPEAKER_01The one, the one that wasn't meant to go, I'm believing like that. We here. This is here right here. This is who meant to go. And I tell I tell God every day, thank you for this team. You feel me? For my director, my producer, who believe in what I believe in, who believe in this. You feel what I'm saying? And then and then kudos. I gotta give them their flower. And my partner right here, day one, right? Walk the walk. I mean, it is what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04Shout out to Pro Films for believing me in the day one when I met him. I was doing an interview. Uh-huh. He was in there filming. I was hitting the road. SPEAKER_01Man, I love it. And you know, and you know, I'ma tell you, right? We, and you just see you see my my director right here, right? He he very skeptical about when we shooting on show and how he do things. For him to let this, you feel me? Trust me. It's real. It's real.
SPEAKER_04That's why I won't let nobody else grind me.
SPEAKER_01Profil. I like that. Shout out to Profilm, damn it. Shout out to Profilm. Oh yeah. Oh, shout out to Profilm. He let us a battery. Shout out to them. Damn, we came a long way. Yeah. Shout out to Profilm, God damn it. He let us a goddamn battery. What if a battery would die? God damn it. He came through with a clutch. He got a drink over that. I make sure he gets a drink. Double that nigga up, man.
SPEAKER_04The book or the the book is out right now, executive order. You can download it. You can get it right now. It'll come to your front door on Amazon.
SPEAKER_01What inspired you to write that book, though? What inspired you to write that book? I want to know. Man, my dog. Executive order in the name.
SPEAKER_04My dog Big Chuck, he was like, yo, you need to, man, you've been doing, you done dropped a couple of albums. He say, Man, let just let them know just a little about who you is, because we came. So when he did that, he was like, man, just let them in a little bit. I said, alright. So I say, you know what? I said, let me get with the publishers. I said, because I don't want to sound crazy. I've been writing it for a minute, but I didn't want to just put it out because I seen I seen Ross put out his book. I seen um my dog Mike Smith put out his memoir. You feel what I'm saying? I seen a couple other dudes put out I say, you know what? I say, then, and then my dog Piccolo, he passed. I was like, who damn. I say, man, I say, forget this. I gotta tell my own story. I say, man, I gotta I gotta get out there and tell them who I am before before that day comes for me. You know what I mean? So I I got with the publishers, we sat down, we chopped it up, and we came up with something good. And I had a lot, and it was like, nah, I say, no, I want to put too much out. Because I want to do a series on this. I say, I want to bore people because people's attention spares.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, it's short, it's short, it's short.
SPEAKER_04So you want to hit them, you can catch an Uber ride, and by the time you get to where you gotta go, you done finished the book. But now it's gonna make you say, okay, let me go, let's go see the, let's go listen to the music now. That's what made me write the book. You feel what I'm saying? Name my album was executive order. And then I'm like, you know what? Fuck it. Let's put the billboard up. Put the billboard up on 79th and 7th Avenue. I remember. Right across the street from the club. Disco Rick hit me, like, yo, E, you good? Somebody hit my body. I say, I'm good, bro. Yeah, yeah. So I say, man, it's time. And that was the same time. Ace Magazine was coming around. You know what I mean? I always put my I always put my product in these different vehicles and I let them drive. You feel what I'm saying? Because I know it's where it's gonna take me. I can't do it by myself. You know what I mean? And I know I know the God, I know the promise that God made me. So He made me that promise, and I know it's gonna happen, and I'm just sticking to it, and that's the executive order. Go cop that. It's everywhere. Go cop that. The album is out right now. The book is at your fingertips. And if you're looking for merch, merch is up to.
SPEAKER_00Merch is up to.
SPEAKER_04Yes. Print on demand, baby.
SPEAKER_00When the the the what how could the word when the cares of life, when everything's kind of weigh you down the burdens, you know? You know when the discouragement, the man is just gonna work out. You know what I'm saying? How you able to like overcome all that? Like, like where you pull energy from with all the the the flawless, the you know, the pretty much that the hating and everything that you ain't trying to hear, but it still comes your way. So when you do hear it, what where do you pull that strength from to be like, I'm still pressing through because you said this or because you think this is. Well, what where do that strength come from in the other stuff, man?
SPEAKER_04I look to the hills in which coming my help. And I know my core comes from the Lord. You hear me? He made that promise to me. I prayed to him. He answered me. I didn't know what I was gonna do when I jumped. But guess what? He made it happen. He showing me in every way. He taught me lessons along the way. He built my character. He built everything. He showed me the people that are actually doing it right now. He put them right in front of me. So now that's what drives me to get out of bed every day and go in the studio and make it and keep going. Even when people hate and say, boy, you ain't gonna make it. Oh boy, this person doing this over here, I applaud you. Or this person doing over there, man, salute. You feel what I'm saying? But when they see me, you know, it's just, hey, what's up, biggie? Oh, I feature on the uh on the record, you don't even come back. It's cool. I get that. I understand. You feel what I'm saying? But I'm gonna keep going. Because I know in my heart that nobody don't owe me nothing. I know that nobody don't, don't, you know, there's nobody don't owe me anything. I gotta keep grinding, I gotta keep hustling. And that's what's gonna sustain success is what's gonna kill them. And I gotta keep going, just keep rolling, no matter what. Episode after episode, after episode, after episode.
SPEAKER_01This one is episode is that so I need to talk big e all day long. All day long. I I don't even want I'm not even gonna look at this shit no more.
SPEAKER_00So that energy in his in his oracle does it. Yeah, it's different. It's different.
SPEAKER_01It's different. It's different. So let me tell you, Biggie, Biggie grew up. Let me let me let me ask you something, right? Where you where you want to go with this? Other than I know you want to be successful, of course all of us want to be, but what you what you really of this here.
SPEAKER_04In the end, I told my dog, I'm gonna just put me in a in a position to be a boss. At the end of the day, I mean, I know it's business, I know we do business and stuff like that, but just put me in a bit in a position to be a boss so I can be able to do the same thing and inspire the the youth. You feel what I'm saying? That's out there. That's that's seeing my grind, seeing my hustle, letting them know like when I see them boys up on them Chevies up at Carroll Mont, I say, I boy, ooh, that's gonna be me. You feel what I'm saying? I want to get them that same inspiration. You feel what I'm saying? And that's the reason why they put the billboard up. They inspire.
SPEAKER_01It's the reason why I do these shows to inspire. So, so e not to cut, so did so writing this book, did it change your outlook on on your career, on things, anything?
SPEAKER_04It changed everything because I'm always looking for a different way to reinvent myself. Because I put out so much to the point I get tired of the the other stuff. It might be new to y'all, but it's old to me. So I'm consistently trying to work and work and work, just put out music, put our gut music, put our gut product so that way in the future, you feel what I'm saying, it can it can inspire. You feel what I'm saying? And we can keep going. And we can keep, we can just keep rolling. That's my goal.
SPEAKER_00That's real. Keep building. That's it, Joey. Keep building.
SPEAKER_01Was there a specific life lesson message? On your book, on your music?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01You you want to elaborate on it, talk about it?
SPEAKER_04I will. So when you say it's a specific life lesson on that book, everything in that book I put in there is real. From every story, every chapter. I went through some stuff. You feel what I'm saying? But uh end of the day, I want you to know that if you end up, if you ask him for something, when I say him, I'm talking about that big man, the book. You hear me? You ask him, he gonna deliver. No matter what. He gonna deliver. And he gonna make it happen for you. And that's just real, man.
SPEAKER_00What world am I gonna feed?
SPEAKER_04Ambition.
SPEAKER_01What was that? What was that what you'd say? A lot of words. Yeah, yeah. What what made Big Ruck become an author, man?
SPEAKER_00A what?
SPEAKER_01An author. What made you become an author, man? What the hell you was thinking about where you want to become an author?
SPEAKER_04Man, because I know certain people don't read. Oh, shit. So I want to put it in the book. Damn, that nigga just made me scratch my head. I just ran into one of my dogs. I ran into one of the one the guys from 2 a.m. Entertainment, right? Right, yeah. Who first gave me a shot? His nephew, Charlie P, right? So he like, he telling this, he had he telling his homeboy at the open mic, like, man, that's Big E. Man, my uncle started him. Oh shit. And he was with him. Oh shit. I ain't had to say nothing. They talking for me. You feel what I'm saying?
unknownYeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04That right there.
SPEAKER_01What what what part of your story were you was it difficult for you to talk about that you really didn't want to talk about, but you talked about it anyway? A lot.
SPEAKER_04But I had to connect with the I had kind of poke. I had to I'm trying to poke him as you poke him like the Pillsbury Doughboys. I'm trying to poke them. Man, I really had to, I really had to analyze what I'm what I was gonna say, even when I talked to the publishers. What I was gonna say, how I was gonna say, how I was gonna put it. You feel what I'm saying? Without shitting on motherfuckers, you know what I mean? Without exposing myself or self-snitching, you know what I mean, on certain things. And because people looking, they like, I'm going there to go see what it is. Nah. They looking for something. And when they get in there, they see a whole nother story. That's just like the G, the big G. When they get in there, they think it's something else until they get inside there. When they get in the organization, then that's when they figure out who he is. And guys. What made some of the things kind of hard for me to talk about, especially the betrayal from my cousin. That shit really hurting me. You know what I mean? That hurting me big time. Well, I definitely gotta read it. When I get to the crib. I ain't realize it to a couple of years later. When I'm sitting in a 23-hour lockdown, one hour wreck time. Wow. Thinking about it. Like, damn, bro, this motherfucker set me up. But I had to learn how to forgive though. Forgive. Forgive, but don't forget. Let go. Don't forget. Don't forget though. But tell a story so that way somebody else don't fall through the floor. Fall for that banana tailpipe. It's a lot of stuff that was difficult for me to talk about. And even the second, when I put out the next series, gonna be a lot of things that don't be difficult for me to talk about, but I'm gonna connect with my fans, I'm gonna connect with the people. So they'll see that it's real. I talk about what I what I talk about is real.
SPEAKER_01What what what but okay when you saying that right there, what makes your story different than other street stories or the other stories?
SPEAKER_04Well, some dudes ain't really lived this life, ain't never been through what we all went through. You feel what I'm saying? Some of them been on the streets, they really been, you feel what I'm saying, just regular people on the streets. You feel what I'm saying? So they don't know the struggle that you had to go through when that when that door closed. Boom. And then you gotta be, you gotta be that person who you say you was on that side. You feel what I'm saying? You gotta go through those things that people don't know what you had to go through, loneliness, betrayal, distance from your family, trying to survive just to get out. You know what I mean? That's what made me different from all of that. You feel what I'm saying? So, and then I ain't scared either. Because I done been round, been around where it's a lot of chaos, but I know how to focus and lock in. You feel what I'm saying? And keep going. They ain't none of my business, keep moving.
SPEAKER_01I gotta, I gotta, I gotta, a, a water. Do me a do me a favor.
SPEAKER_00Continue. Talk to me, talk to me.
SPEAKER_01Hey, do me a favor, man. Grab that, grab that South Beach brew from it and grab me a grab me a bottle of uh BNL water and grab me a you know what I'm saying, a cigar. I I wanna make sure he goes home with that. You know what I'm saying? And you know, because he, you know, he's a big award, but you know I gotta get a one because I got owner. Grab me a that's crazy, grab me a grab me a uh congratulations. Yeah, man, thank you.
SPEAKER_00Ain't nobody to give. Nobody else, you can give a billionaire water to what's the future billionaire, man. Come on, man.
SPEAKER_03You feel me? That's love. I appreciate it. You feel me? Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_04He got takes. That's for sure.
SPEAKER_01Grab your cigar, grab let him get a cigar too, Walt.
SPEAKER_00And the thing about the thing about B E, right, is that I'm in the process of finishing my book, right? Sorry about that. I'm in the process of finishing my book, but just talking to him, it just motivates me even more than I'm glad I made that decision to do what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_04You got to. You gotta tell your story. Don't let nobody else tell it. You have to. Nobody ain't gonna tell your story the way you're gonna tell your story. Facts. You don't want nobody else to tell your story a different way than how you will want to be put. And then there's certain things you want to try to protect. People you're gonna try to protect. So that way they don't get hurt in the in the long run. Like, like I said, I'm gonna bump them a dog. I could have easily like said some, but I didn't. But I protect them boys and I learned something from them. Only thing I said that I would never put myself in a position ever again, in that position ever again, and that's the reason why I'm here today. I started doing my own thing because I seen how they did it and I learned from it.
SPEAKER_00You got the data.
SPEAKER_04You got to learn. And nobody gonna get that data hands-on either. They don't get it.
SPEAKER_00Real talk.
SPEAKER_04I got a hands-on.
SPEAKER_00Hands-on.
SPEAKER_01Lettuce.
unknownReal talk.
SPEAKER_01Real talk. Boy, I'm gonna I'm I'm gonna I'ma tell you like this, E. I I really truly appreciate you, man, for coming through. You know what I'm saying? I mean, before we we close out, is there uh is there anything, like, any message, anything you wanna say before we close out, please.
SPEAKER_04I thank y'all so much for just having me. That's number one. And I already know that um that my future is bright. No matter what, how people look at it, how they see it, and I already know what time it is. I'm gonna get that phone call again. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna make sure. Hey, hey, hey, uh, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know my uh uh uh my producer over there, she filming. I know she's gonna have something ready, you know what I'm saying, soon. So I definitely I can't wait to to post a little clip, you know what I'm saying? And so fat boy know her biggie. Yeah, you already know anyway. You was already know. You already know, so you know what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, I appreciate what he taught us.
