CHRISTOPHER LIAM ROSE TALKS ABOUT #CLRM - NO SELF (CLRMNS)
"No-self" (Pali: anattā, Sanskrit: anātman) is a foundational Buddhist doctrine asserting that no permanent, unchanging soul, essence, or independent "self" exists in any phenomenon. Instead of a fixed identity, individuals are a changing, interrelated process of five physical and mental aggregates, leading to the insight that "I" or "mine" is an illusion.

Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Leon Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, my visual speaker, evangelist, musician, and activist. This is going to be a brand new podcast series and a brand new audio for Christopher Leon Rose Monasteries. Because I've got a connection to Buddhism and the Buddha, I want to create a podcast about the Buddhist tradition and Buddhist religion. So within this podcast and audio, we're going to be talking about the no self and understanding what the no-self is and how it relates to Buddhism, spirituality, faith, and and religion and spirituality. So the no self, so what is the no self? The no self is a no permanent, unchanging soul, essence, or independence of I existing within the human phenomenon or the human relationship and the human body. So basically, what the Buddhist tradition is saying that there's no self as we live in our bodies, we can never see ourselves as a human being. All we can see is what's in front of us, which is our spiritual essence and our spiritual presence. But when we think about life as a human being, there is no self, there's no I, there's no me, there's no my. So the no-self is a spiritual transformation and a spiritual enlightenment of discovering who you are. So when you discover the no-self, we discover the no-self, selflessness, and know thyself, which is so important in life. So in the Buddhist tradition, the Buddha was trying to teach that we all have a no-permanent, unchanging soul, essence of independence of I exists within the human or the phenomenon. So basically, there is no self in our actual experience as a human being. The only essence of who we are as a human being is who we truly are, which is our spiritual light, our spiritual intention, um, our spirituality and our faith. So once we understand that there's no self, we can just really understand the importance of the no self, selflessness, and know that self. Now we're in the Buddhist tradition, um, there's the eightfold path, so the noble eightfold path, which we're gonna explain now, that helps us to discover spiritual change and spiritual enlightenment. So the eighth noble eightfold path, so number one wisdom, number one, right view, right understanding, number two, right intentions, right solutions, number two, ethical conduct, number three, right speech, number four, right action, number five, right livelihood, number three, mental discipline and concentration. So number six, right effort, number seven, right mindfulness, number eight, right concentration. So when we go through um the Buddhist tradition of the Noble Eightfold Path, and also discover the four noble truths as well, which I'm gonna explain as well. So the no the four noble truths. Um so when we discovered this, we can actually discover the no self, and the no-self is a spiritual transformation of the self. So there's no more I anymore, there's no more me, and there's no more my. So, with the four noble truths, these are the four noble truths which is part of the Buddhist tradition. So, the truth of suffering is dukkha, so that's the first noble truth. The truth of cause of suffering is some U Dia, so the truth of suffering, the truth of the ending of something is Naroda, and then the truth of the path is MAGA. So, these are the four noble truths. So, once we understand the four noble truths and the eight full pass, and the noble eight full pass, then we can discover the no-self. Also, to add within the Buddhist tradition, which is from my own learning and understanding as well, we can also do the six spiritual practices. So, the six spiritual practices are prayer, meditation, mindfulness, walking, journaling, and silence. Also, once we discover the no-self, which is basically basically gonna lead you to the work of helping other people, giving back and making a difference, then we can do the seven levels of helping other people. So level one, volunteering, the good level in helping other people, level two, jobs, careers, employment, the great level in helping other people, level three, business and entrepreneurship, the highest level in helping other people, level four, faith and spiritual, the spiritual levels and helping other people, level five, um spiritually helping other people, you helping other people, the teaching levels and helping other people, level six, spiritually helping other people to spiritually change, the spiritual change levels and helping other people, level seven, spiritually helping other people in spiritual truth, the spiritual enlightenment levels of helping other people. So with the four noble truths, with the eight full paths, with the six spiritual practices, and the seven levels of helping other people, we could discover the no-self. And remember, the no-self is a transformation of the self, so there's no more I, me, or my within our lives. So all our lives will be focused on helping other people, giving back and making a difference, and supporting people in what they're going through, and helping people with what they need help with. So it's so so important that we discover that the no-self is our true essence of who we are as a human being, our light, our spiritual change, and our spiritual alignment. So when the Buddha was alive, he was basically teaching the no-self and the spiritual dharma of the Buddhist tradition, so the four noble truths and the noble eightfold paths. So once we discovered this, we discovered that this will be the ending of suffering pain and adversity. So no more suffering, no more pain, no more adversity, and we discover who we truly are as a human being. So I encourage the listeners and the viewers who are checking out this brand new series of the Christopher Lee and Rose Monasteries. Focus on going through a spiritual change yourself of the psyche and the psychological mind, focus on your faith, your spirituality, your faith, and religion. Try to connect to Jesus Christ, Jehovah and Buddha in your spiritual life and faithful life. Understand the four noble truths, understand the eightfold path, and understand the six spiritual practices and the seven levels of helping other people. Once you've done that, then you will discover the no-self, selflessness, and know that self and become who you want to be as a human being. So thank you for listening to this podcast on audio. This is the brand new series for the Christopher Lee and Rose Monasteries, and hopefully, within the future, I'll be sharing more Buddhist traditions, teachings from the Buddha into the podcast. So thank you for listening now. Have a good day, and hopefully, you discover the know self, selflessness, and know thyself, and become who you truly are destined to be. So thank you for listening now. Have a good day. Bye bye now. Take care. Bye.
