THE NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH
The Noble Eightfold Path is a core teaching of Buddhism, providing a practical guide for ethical living, mental discipline, and wisdom to end suffering and achieve liberation.. It consists of eight interconnected practices—View, Resolve, Speech, Action, Livelihood, Effort, Mindfulness, and Concentration—that are cultivated simultaneously rather than in sequence.
- Wisdom:
- Right View/Understanding: Understanding the Four Noble Truths, karma, and the nature of reality.
- Right Resolve/Intention: Committing to self-improvement, kindness, and non-harming.
- Ethical Conduct:
- Right Speech: Abstaining from lying, gossip, and harsh speech; speaking truthfully and kindly.
- Right Action: Acting in a non-harmful way (following the Five Precepts).
- Right Livelihood: Earning a living that does not cause suffering to oneself or others.
- Mental Discipline:
- Right Effort: Cultivating positive states of mind and letting go of negative ones.

Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Liam Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, motivational speaker, evangelist, musician, activist, and um musician and activists and evangelists. In the Christopher Liam Rose Monasteries podcast, I'm going to be sharing the uh the spiritual dharma of Buddhism from the Buddha. Um the reason why I created the Christopher Liam Rose Monasteries podcast is to inspire humanity to learn about Jesus Christ Jehovah and Buddha through faith, spirituality, fate, and religion. And also I want people to learn more about the Buddh tradition and Buddhist religion. And Buddhism is a very important part of our life and society and world that we live in. And um, I want to share what the Buddha was teaching in his teachings towards his disciples and people that met the Buddha. So this podcast is sharing about Buddhism. You will learn about Jesus Christ, Jehovah, and Buddha, and learn about faith, spirituality, fate, and religion. Now, within this podcast and audio, we're going to be sharing the noble eightfold path. So, this in Buddhism is how we overcome suffering, pain, and adversity in our you know lives as human beings. So the eightfold path is a spiritual path. So it says that the noble eightfold path is the fourth of the four noble truths in Buddhism, acting as a practical guide to end suffering, pain, adversity, dukkha, and achieve enlightenment liberation from Samha in considering of the eight interconnection practices categorized in wisdom, ethical conduct, and mental discipline, which are developed simultaneously rather than in a sequeled order order. So the noble eightfold path is how we can overcome suffering, pain, and adversity in our lives, is how we can find who we truly are as a human being, live our spiritual life purpose, our spiritual calling, and a spiritual divine assignment on earth. And the noble eightfold path is the ending of suffering, pain, and adversity once you practice the Buddhist teachings that the Buddha has taught, and this is a very important thing to learn. So we're gonna go through it within this podcast and audio today for the Christopher Lee and Rose Monasteries uh podcast. So here's the um eightfold path, the noble eightfold path. So it comes in three categories. First, there's the wisdom category, number one, right view and understanding, understanding the four noble truths, karma and the nature of reality impermanence. Then there's right intention, revolution um will resolve, commend to self-improvement, non-harming, kindness and non-attachment. The next is ethical conduct, the right speech, abstaining from lying, gossiping, uh harsh speech and furious chatter and speaking truthfully and kindly, right actions, behavior in a skillful way, specifically following the five precepts from non-killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying or taking intoxications, the right living, and living in a way that does not cause harm or exploit exploitation to others, and then there's mental discipline, the right effort, conveying the positive states of the mind and abandoning from negative ones, the right mindfulness, maintaining awareness of the body, feelings, and mind and phenomena, right concentration, developing deep mental focus through meditation to reach states of calm and clear awareness. Now, the noble eightfold path is basically the spiritual practices in Buddhism. But I'm gonna also add to this within the Noble Eightfold Path the six um spiritual practices and the seven levels of helping other people. So the six spiritual practices number one prayer, number two meditation, number three mindfulness, number four walking, number five, journaling, number six, silence, and then seven levels of helping other people. Um level one, volunteering, the good level in helping other people, level two, jobs, careers, employment, the great level in helping other people, level three, business and entrepreneurship, the highest level in helping other people, level four faith in spiritual, the spiritual levels and helping other people, level five, spiritually helping other people, who helping other people, the teaching levels and helping other people, level six, spiritually helping other people, spiritually change the spiritual change levels and helping other people, and level seven spiritually helping other people, and spiritual truth, the spiritual enlightenment levels and helping other people. So by going from the noble eightfold path, which I've just explained, right view, right understanding, right intake right intention, right solution, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. You can end suffering, pain, and adversity within your life by doing the six spiritual practices and the seven levels of helping other people. You can find true freedom and spiritual liberation and find who you really are as a human being. So the noble eightfold path is very important to discover. I I think more people need to find this in life if they want to end suffering, pain, and adversity. When you end suffering, pain, and adversity, you find heaven and nirvana on earth, which is the spiritual thing in life. Also, when you end suffering, pain, and adversity, you discover the no-self, selflessness, and know thyself, which is spiritual transformation within the psyche and the psychological mind. Once you discover the no-self, selflessness, and know thyself, you discover the spiritual dharma of Buddhism and discover who you truly are as a human being. So I encourage the listeners and the viewers of this podcast, please do the noble eightfold pass, please do the six spiritual practices, and plead please do the seven uh levels of helping other people. And by doing that, you discover the no-self, selflessness, know thyself, and you'll discover um nirvanya and heaven on earth. And the no-self is basically a life of contributions into helping other people, giving back making a difference, and selflessness is spiritual, selfless actions towards helping other people. Know thyself is knowing yourself as a human being, your life experiences, your morals, your values, your principles, who you are as a human being, and discovering the spiritual life purpose, spiritual calling, spiritual divine assignment. So I hope this podcast audio helps those listeners and followers and viewers and fans that want to learn more about the no noble eightfold path.
