Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Leon Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, motivational speaker, evangelist, musician, activist, and evangelist. In the Christopher Leon Rose Monastery Podcast, we're going to be talking about a very particular topic of the Dharma within Buddhism. But sharing the Christopher Leon Rose Monasteries podcast to inspire humanity to learn about Buddhism and Christianity in faith, spirituality, and religion. Um this is podcast is focused on the teachings of the Buddha and of Buddhism. So anyone that's interested in Buddhism and wants to learn more about it, as I'm discovering new things about it, I will say listen to this podcast and listen to the audios, it will really help you. And the monasteries podcast is basically my way of spreading Buddhism and the Dharma into the world. I created the Christopher Lee and Rose Monastery Podcast to inspire humanity to learn about Jehovah Jesus Christ and Buddha, and also I create the Christopher Lee and Rose Monasteries podcast to inspire humanity to learn about faith, spirituality, faith, and religion, and Buddhism and Christianity. So let's begin. Um in this particular audio, we're going to be talking about spiritual change and Buddhism. Um, because spiritual change is a very important thing in life that all human beings must discover and find in life. Um, I want to talk about how spiritual change is spoken about by the Buddha in Buddhism, and to basically understand the importance of the spiritual change that we need to go through. So it says in Buddhism what spiritual change means is spiritual change in Buddhism is a profound intentional transformation of consciousness, shifting from self-centered ignorance to our authentic wisdom and compassion. It's involving actively adjusting thoughts and actions to align to the Dharma, cultivating qualities like faith, effort, mindfulness to achieve liberation from suffering, dukkha, and ultimately enlightenment. So the spiritual change becomes very important in life to discover it's so important to find the spiritual change, and in Buddhism, the Buddha is basically saying it's an in intentional transformational consciousness shift from the self of ignorance, authentical wisdom, and compassion. So when we go for a spiritual change in Buddhism, we're basically changing ourselves as a human being. So the Buddha taught about the no-self in Buddhism, which is no more self. When we discover the spiritual change of the no-self, then we discover who we truly are as a human being. So we don't live in ignorance no more, and we don't live in dukkha, which is suffering. Now, obviously, in Buddhism, there's a lot of powerful sermons that the Buddha taught about the uh truth of suffering and the reason why we need to find enlightenment in life and um overcome dukkha which is suffering. So it's important to learn with the spiritual change in Buddhism that we need to go on the the eighth the eighth noble full path, so the able the noble eight full path. So just gonna quickly share what the Buddha said in the Noble Eightfold Path. So this is the Noble Eightfold Path that the Buddha was teaching humanity in his Dharma. Right view, right understanding, right intention, right solution, which is the categorizes wisdom, uh ethical conduct, right speech, right action, right livelihood, which which is ethical conduct, and a mental discipline, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. Now, if we go on the noble eightfold path, we can discover the end of suffering, pain, and adversity, and find the spiritual change which is within ourselves. Also, within Buddhism, which I want to add to the sermon today and the message of the Dharma, um it's important to do the six spiritual practices prayer, meditation, mindfulness, walking, journaling, and the seven levels of helping other people. Level one, volunteering, the good level and helping other people, level two, jobs, careers, employment, the great level and helping other people, level three, business entrepreneurship, the highest level in helping other people, level four, faith and spiritual, the spiritual levels and helping other people, level five, spiritually helping other people to help other people, the teacher levels and helping other people, level six, spiritually helping other people to spiritually change, and then level seven, which is the spiritual change level, and then level seven, spiritually helping other people and spiritual truth, with the spiritual enlightenment levels and helping other people. So with the eighth with the noble eightfold path, with the six spiritual practices and the seven levels of helping other people, we can actually go through the change in Buddhism that the Buddha was teaching. And obviously, within our lives, we are living in suffering at the moment, that's why our life is the way it is. So we need to try to find liberation and freedom from the suffering. So spiritual change is what becomes very important in Buddhism. So it also says with the spiritual change, a transformation in consciousness, ishan, ishan, ishan, and it says a turn in mind of a revolution, awareness, such a recognition deep into dispersive with others rather than believing in complete independence, cultivating compassion and wisdom, the shift of a selfish narrow perspective to a wider heart that understands suffering and acts in loving kindness, the shift in priorities as seen in stories of practitioners. This involves significant change in the mindset, prioritizing ethical conduct and spiritual progress over worldly attachments, and then the turning of the mind, um, the process of letting go of desires and attachments, transforming the water of ignorance into the water of wisdom, and then adopting the bodhisattva path, the commitment to develop full potentials not only for oneself but in the aid of all beings. So these are the important things when you go through a spiritual change within Buddhism, and the spiritual change will help you to but find spiritual enlightenment, which is so important. So when the Buddha was here, he was basically teaching for over 45 years in his uh ministry and in his monasteries and helping nuns and monks and disciples to become more awakened, more liberated, and more free. Um the Buddha was a human being who achieved significance and greatness within his life because he realized that Dukkha was the suffering of humanity, and he had the compassion and love and empathy for all human beings to try to resolve the suffering of Dukkha of what we're experiencing, and also we have to realize the four noble truths as well, which is very important to just uh talk about as well, um in the in the sermon. So the the four noble truths in Buddhism. So obviously the first noble truth, the truth of suffering dukkha, the truth of the origin of suffering some dukhaya, the truth of the sensation of suffering novanya, and the truth of the path of the ending of suffering Magga. So these are very important in Buddhism with the four noble truths and the eightfold path. If we find this in life, we can actually change our lives from suffering pain and adversity to a spiritual change and spiritual enlightenment. So I encourage the listeners and I encourage the viewers who check this podcast and listen to the podcast, go for a spiritual change, discover who you really are, um, find the no-self, selflessness and know thyself, and then go on the journey. And it's really in Buddhism with spiritual changes of journey because in our lives we're all gonna experience birth, we're all gonna experience life, then we're all gonna experience death. So if we don't find liberation and freedom while we're alive, we do have a life of suffering and adversity, which the Buddha was basically teaching to overcome and to try to help humanity to resolve it. So find a way to um go on the path of spiritual change, learn from the Buddha's teachers and Dharma, which is always available online in Buddhist books, in Buddhist centers and temples, and in any literature that you can find in libraries, um, colleges, schools, universities, or just people that are on the Buddhist tradition path who are Buddhists or monks and nuns who are practicing Buddhism. So, you know, um, you know, Jesus Christ Jehovah Buddha don't want humanity to suffer and um you can find that spiritual change within yourself in Buddhism and discover the true spiritual freedom and spiritual enlightenment. Okay, thank you for listening now, take care, and I hope you find your own liberation. Take care, and please go on a journey of spiritual change.
