Impermanence, or anicca in Pali, is a fundamental Buddhist principle stating that all conditioned things—physical objects, bodies, thoughts, and relationships—are in a constant state of flux and change. It is one of the "Three Marks of Existence," and accepting this transient nature is essential to ending suffering (*dukkha) caused by clinging to things as stable.

Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Liam Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, motivational speaker, evangelist, musician, and activist. In the Christopher Leon Rose Monasteries podcast, we're going to be sharing a message and a sermon for the Buddhist. And I've been sharing the Christopher Liam Rose Monasteries podcast to inspire humanity to learn about Buddhism and Christianity. I've been sharing the Christopher Leon Rose Monasteries podcast to inspire humanity to learn about faith, spirituality, faith, and religion. And I've been sharing the Christopher Leon Rose Monasteries podcast to inspire humanity to learn about Jesus Christ Jehovah and Buddha and the Dharma of Buddhism and the Buddhist tradition and religion. So within this uh sermon, within this message, we're going to be sharing about impermanence, and we're going to be talking about what it means in Buddhism and how we can obviously overcome impermanence. So impermanence basically means a fundamental Buddhist principle stating that all conditioned things, physical objects, bodies, thoughts, relationships are in the context state of flux and change. So with impermanence, it basically means that everything in life changes, and that's what the Buddha was explaining to us in the Dharma. So nothing can escape impermanence. So our lives are going to change, our bodies are going to change, our thoughts are going to change, our relationships are going to change, and physical objects are going to change. So every sense is consistently moving in a change. And with the impermanence of human beings in reality, um we need to realize that you know this is part of life and nothing can escape impermanence. So it also says in impermanence the constant flux, nothing lasts forever, everything arises, exists, cease and simultaneously to flow river scope. It also applies everything, including the human body, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and environment. The three marks, it often stays alongside dukkha, unsatisfactioness and suffering, and utter non-self. Hope and freedom, recognizing the suffering and pain are also impermanent, also allows for hope, reduced attachment and increased appreciation for the present moment. So we can see that impermanence is something that's always going to happen in life, and it's very important to remember that we can't escape impermanence. It's going to happen in our lives, we will basically eventually pass away. So uh noble truth, four noble truths, the noble truth number one, the truth of suffering, dukkha. Life involves suffer suffering, dissatisfaction, and unease. This is including birth, aging, illness, death, and not getting what one desires. The truth of the causing of suffering, samadalia. The root of suffering is the crave and desire of attachment driven by greed, hate and ignorance. And then the third noble truth is the truth of the ending of suffering, nirvana. And it's possible to end suffering by overcoming attachment and relishing cravings leading to liberation. And the fourth noble truth, the path to end of suffering, MAGA. The way to end suffering is the middle way, known as the noble eightfold path, which includes right understanding, thought, speech, action, livelihood, effort, mindfulness, and concentration. So what we're gonna read now is basically we're gonna understand the the noble eightfold path. The noble eighth path. So once we understand the four noble truths, and we understand the noble eightfold path, which is right view, right solution, intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. So when we understand the four noble truths and the noble eightfold path in Buddhism, then we can free ourselves from suffering, pain, adversity, and the never ending in permanence. But also what I'm gonna add to um the four noble truths and the noble eightfold path is actually understanding the six spiritual practices so prayer, meditation, mindfulness, walking, journaling, silence, and uh seven levels of helping with people. Level one, volunteering, the good level and helping with people. Level two, dress careers employment, the great level in helping other people. Level three, business entrepreneurship, the highest level and helping it with people. Level four, faith and spiritual, spiritual levels and helping other people. Level five, spiritually helping other people, happening with people, the teaching levels and happening with people. Level six, spiritually helping other people to spiritually change, spiritual change levels and happening with people, and level seven, spiritually helping other people, and spiritual truth, the spiritual enlightenment levels and happening with people. Now, once we've understood that we can go on the to understand the four noble truths, the noble eightfold path, the six spiritual practices, and the seven levels of helping other people. That's how we find the spiritual change and spiritual enlightenment. When we find spiritual change and spiritual enlightenment, we discover the no-self, selflessness, the know thyself, which is no more I, no more me, no more my. Selflessness is selfless actions towards helping others. The know thyself means you know yourself as a human being, your life experiences, your success, your failures, and your spiritual life purpose, spiritual calling, and spiritual divine assignment. This is how we can find heaven and nirvana on earth. So the important thing with this message is that impermanence is gonna be a part of life. No human being escapes impermanence, and we're all gonna go through birth, life, death, aging, sickness, um, and basically death in our lives. Impermanence is part of life, so we should embrace the impermanence that we're gonna experience in life and learn from it, and also learn that the Buddha Um Sahartama Gudama was basically trying to show humanity that to end suffering, pain, adversity, you need to come spiritual. So once you develop that spiritual side and your faith and your spirituality, then any attachments that come into your life, any impermanence that you face, it could be loss of family members, loss of children, loss of partners, it could be just suffering, pain, adversity experience. You can find a way to overcome it and end that suffering, pain, and adversity within your life. So remember, impermanence is part of life, it's a natural thing, and we're all gonna experience impermanence. So it's best to embrace it, and when you ex embrace the impermanence that we're gonna experience, you find spiritual freedom and spiritual liberation.
