SPEAKER_02Boys and girls. In a galaxy far, far away, and also here in our galaxy, there's a light side, and there's a dark side. When the world has become the Death Star, and when all of your worldly friends join the Empire, they will pressure you to join them. But you won't become another clone for the dark side. And that's because you are the chosen one. God chose you to be in the light. You will become a Jedi, like your father did. You may say, Pastor Jeff, I don't know how to fight with the lightsaber. I don't know how to make large rocks flow in the air. You won't need to know how when you become one with the force. When you become one with God. You are in your Jedi training right now, and I'm your master Yoda. And become a great Jedi you will. And you will use your power for good. You're not gonna do what Anakin Skywalker did. You're not gonna let your anger turn into hate and your hate into suffering. No. If you feel yourself beginning to stray from the light, and you feel yourself slipping into the dark side, if your Jedi Master tells you that it's over and that he has the high ground, whatever you do, no matter how angry you are, just don't do it. Because you will end up suffering greatly. I'm just gonna say it. Some of y'all moving through life like Jar Jar beings. No awareness, just acting on vibes. You may have big feelings about things. It may feel like the dark side isn't so bad, but you need to develop the discipline to silence those feelings. Darth Vader said search your feelings and look where that got him. Not every vibe is a god vibe. Some of y'all got advice from TikTok. When you really needed advice from Master Yoda. Let's be honest, the dark side kinda looks cooler. They got cool uniforms, a planet-sized spaceship, and their music when they show up is straight fire. Temptation is a real thing, and it might feel right, but just because something feels right doesn't mean that it's of the light. You might say, Pastor Jeff, what if God isn't willing to forgive me for the mistakes I've made? We've all made mistakes. But don't worry, because only a Sith deals in absolutes. God isn't against you. He's rooting for you. Despite the odds, and never tell me the odds. God wants you to win the pod race. He wants you to win, to free yourself from spiritual slavery. Some of y'all are spiritually stuck, like Han Solo was in the Carbonite. Just frozen. Some of y'all need to unplug from the world and give it a rest with all these TikToks and Snapchats. It's keeping you from being able to focus. Luke turned off the targeting computer before taking his shot that blew up the Death Star. He had to focus and let the force guide him. Just because you're able to bullseye womp rats in your T16 back home doesn't mean you are ready for the greatest challenge of your lifetime. Will you give up your screen time for God time? This isn't a Jedi mind trick. It's a simple challenge. When you're able to get rid of those worldly distractions and work on that relationship the way you should, eventually you won't question his love anymore. And then when God reminds you that he loves you, you'll simply reply, I know. God is saying to you, join me. I am your father.
