The higher you go, the thinner the air gets. Growth demands solitude, sacrifice, and strength. This episode is about rising without losing your grounding — learning to breathe through the climb.

So this is gonna be more about progress. Um what I've learned over time is that with progress, um, if you're really excelling at something, you can be just a I'm gonna keep my head down and work hard and you know try to do my job type of person. But if you do it really well, um there is no hiding. There is no I'm gonna lay back and chill. There is no I'ma fit in and just try to blend in with everybody else. When you're doing these things and if you're excelling at it and doing really well, you're gonna stand out. Um, you're gonna get attention, and people are gonna pay attention to you. Both good and bad. Both lovers, both haters. Um and in the end it's all on how you handle it. But with that being said, once you take inventory of what's going on and you see everything that's happening, you also can see who's for you, who's not for you, who's rooting for you, who's not rooting for you. And you kind of can see the dynamics in play of how things work, and you can pretty much judge how people work. You can learn people's working style if they're really trying hard, if they're not trying hard, if they're trying to get through the day, or if people are just, you know, they just come to work and you know, just trying to blend in and not really do much, just do enough to get by and keep it moving. Um in the end, in the end, all that, it doesn't really matter. What really matters in the end is what do you want to do? Do you want to blend in or do you want to stand out? Or do you just want to focus on doing your job? If you just focus on doing your job and doing your best, you block out all the noise, all that other stuff doesn't matter. You can just focus on that. You may get attention, but if you're not really paying attention to it, it doesn't really affect you. Now, if you are actively trying to reach high levels and you're working hard, you probably will pay attention to what everyone else is doing and trying to see what you can do so you can push yourself a little further. Which I don't think there's anything wrong with that. You just gotta know, you know, what's really going on and uh what you're willing to do to push yourself for. How much work are you willing to do? How much stuff are you willing to volunteer for? How much stuff are you willing to be like, I know most people don't want to do this, but I'll do it because it needs to be done. Um for me, I'm the type just whatever needs to be done, let me know. I'll take care of it. If I don't know, I'll learn it. Just uh give me a shot and let me do it. If they're not gonna do it, I'll do it. You know, um and I will say it's worked for me. Um, because I've been in many situations where I well I've been in one situation where I was low-key and I end up being uh pretty good and high level. Then I've been in other cases where I start off really good and uh there's friction there, but in the end I end up doing well over time because uh I mean you either love me or you hate me, but either way you're probably gonna have a feeling about me. And that's without me being outgoing. That's just me working. And I guess it's because I'm so focused on work and trying to do it correctly and just trying to get things done that I myself I've I kind of forget the social aspect, and sometimes I don't even care about the social aspect. I'm just like, let's just get this done so we can move on to the next thing. And uh, you know, you gotta be careful with that. You gotta make sure that you take care of your coworkers and that you know you still build that bond and that relationship with them. But in the end, you know, um it's a balancing act you wanna work hard, you want to do everything you can, but you also want to, you know, take care of your coworkers and make sure they're okay. Um in the end, I would say that when you see progress and you see yourself moving forward, um, you want to keep going and you want to keep that momentum. You don't want to stop that momentum because the more that momentum goes, the more it pushes you to great things. And if it tends to slow down at any point whatsoever, then it'll probably uh it probably won't help you reach your end goal, if especially if you're trying to do better. So I would say uh, you know, stay focused on your progress and getting better. And whatever momentum you have, if it's actually a good momentum and you're getting more responsibility and people are trusting you more, keep leaning into that. Keep trying that, because in the end that's gonna work out for you in the long run. It's gonna work in your favor. So just keep pushing. I'm just gonna stone, and this is unseen hours.
