OptiCast - The Optimization Lab Podcast
Most podcasts are just people talking around problems theyâve never actually solved⌠this isnât that.
OptiCast is what it sounds like when you stop pretending surface-level fixes work and start breaking down why your system keeps stalling even when youâre doing everything âright.â This is physiology-first thinking⌠mitochondria before motivation, energy before hormones, sequencing before stacking.
Youâre going to hear things most coaches avoid because it kills their business⌠why your labs look fine while your output keeps dropping, why your discipline is actually making things worse, why adding more compounds into a mis-sequenced system just digs the hole deeper.
Every episode is a live dissection of real failure patterns⌠the kind youâve already felt but couldnât explain⌠and the decision logic behind fixing them without guessing, without chasing numbers, and without pretending effort alone forces adaptation .
If youâre looking for reassurance, this will piss you off.
If youâre trying to figure out why your body stopped responding⌠this is where that starts getting exposed.

Welcome you guys to another episode of your favorite podcast, the only God ordained podcast in the human optimization space, the Opticast, with me, Nathan, where we go deeper than the surface, we cut through the noise and have the kinds of conversations that most people in this space simply aren't equipped to have. Today's episode is one of those rare ones what I generally had to prepare differently for. So this isn't the conversation where I'm going to be walking anyone through fundamentals or explaining the basics. This is a peer-level conversation with someone who operates at a level that very few people in this world can actually do. We're going to go to places in this discussion that most podcasts can't go. It's my podcast. We can go wherever the fuck we want. Because most hosts, they wouldn't even know what the right questions are to be asked. So buckle the fuck up. This one is going to challenge how to even think about your body, about optimization, about pharmacology, and about what it actually means to use data to make decisions instead of just following what everybody else is doing. Now, let me tell you about today's guest because uh this introduction deserves to be done properly. My guest today is someone who represents something genuinely rare in this industry. It's a man who has earned his credentials in every arena simultaneously, not just one. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. And he didn't stop there because, you know, why would you? He actually pursued graduate level research in neuropsychopharmacology, and he spent the last 15 years applying that scientific foundation, not in a hospital, not in a classroom, but in the fucking trenches on the competitive stage, in the gym, and in the blood work of thousands of clients. He's a two-time national champion, two-time North American champion, seven-time state champion, an IFBB professional bodybuilder, a coach, a biochemist, a medical doctor, a reverend, so I'm told, and the founder of Anabolic University. He has competed at the highest levels of the sport, earning titles at the NPC Michigan State Championships, the IFBB Pro North American Championship, and multiple master national titles in the 30 plus and 40 plus divisions, all while simultaneously practicing medicine, coaching clients, and building Valhalla Labs, his supplement company now celebrating over a decade in operation. Now, what makes him different from every other voice in the space is not just his credentials, it's the combination. He's not a doctor who reads about bodybuilding. He's not a bodybuilder who pretends to understand medicine. He's both simultaneously at the highest level, and he backs every single position he takes with blood work, with structural biochemistry, and with a decade and a half of clinical observation in a patient population that no textbook has ever been written about. He is blunt, he's precise, he does not give a shit about being popular, he cares about being right. And in this space absolutely flooded with bro science, recycled myths, and influencers who have never ordered a single blood work panel in their lives, that makes him one of the most valuable voices you will ever listen to. Gentlemen, please welcome to the Opticast, Dr. Todd Falking Lee.
SPEAKER_02I don't think anyone's ever introduced me like that before. Yeah, dog. Dude, I feel like Starscream in the 1986 Transformers Amuse movie where he's sitting on the throne on the Cybertron and stuff. Like that was the most wow. Thank you for that introduction, man. It shows you paid attention because I don't even think I would have been able to write something that cool about me if I tried. You really got almost every detail in there that was worth mentioning. That was cool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, dog. I do I do a lot of my research. I'm actually known for my introductions. And uh thank God I didn't butcher it. I read it and read it, I read it, I read it. I'm like, I'm not gonna butcher this shit. This is important to me. It actually I actually care about it. So, you know, I love it. Thank you so much for taking your time, man, and for being flexible as well. I really appreciate it because we're fucking cranking out content like never before, man. And uh, like you said, I I love it, I enjoy it, but Jesus fucking Christ, I am tired. I am running on every fucking mitochondrial peptide and and uh and nootropic and uh stimulant under the sun. I'm just kidding. I'm not doing all of that shit. But uh, I am highly, highly pharmacologically enhanced right now to be able to handle the workload.
SPEAKER_02Dude, you know what you gotta do? And this just dropped. Chris Williamson interviewed Nick Nocturnal, and Nick Nocturnal is like the most important YouTuber other than Jared Dynes for Metal, probably. At least of that generation, like the under 30 crowd, right? And like they're probably over 30 by now. But anyway, he talked about how he had to burn out because away from back. So I think if you listen to his burnout story before you burn out, you won't burn out.
SPEAKER_00Nice. So check out that still. I need to listen to it. Yeah, I actually, I actually did burn out before so fucking bad. Dude, I couldn't get out of bed, I couldn't shower. It felt like depression. It was horrendous, and there was like literally like no stimulant works. I was I popped 100 milligrams of Vivance, bro, and it did nothing, like absolutely nothing, multiple times repeatedly. That's when I realized, like, oh fuck, my brain is fried, and I literally put myself in a hole. And it wasn't even because I was doing something fun. I was fucking working for someone else, man. I was so right now, like my in my mentality, I'm like, dude, if I've buried myself for someone else to make a fortune, I'm gonna fucking bury myself for my own business. I will like do whatever it takes for my own business, obviously without trying to burn out, because I we have a full episode on burnout. I I really think that this like a very serious thing, and it's definitely a real thing, especially for people who are like, yeah, very like high hill, highly driven and stuff like that. It's um it's definitely a problem. But I want to start here with the most difficult question that you've ever been asked in your entire life, Todd. Are you ready for it? All right, sure. My favorite, my favorite uh movie of uh series of all times is Saw. I I love it. I just I grew up watching it, so I think it's just it's not because the series is good, because it's not really that good, but it's just because it just I put that shit on the TV and it just calms me down, man. I don't know the effect that it has. Maybe I'm a different type of human, but I want to play a game. And this game is called Fuck Mary Kill. So you have three options. Here, here are your options masteron, testosterone, growth hormone.
SPEAKER_02All right. I would uh fuck testosterone, marry growth hormone, and kill master. Yeah. I I figured I figured you would go that route. Yep. And people would say I would not say that. Yeah. Because they they don't understand what I the whole Mastron thing got carried way out of control because no one knows the backstory or what was going on behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_00They weren't watching the deep dives, the advanced discussions, or anything like that. I I honestly think that, you know, going back to the time that you were doing a lot of lives, which I really miss, and you should go back to doing them because we have, you know, the the channel mascot. I forgot his name, but um, I I forgot I forgot his name, and I I had written down what was his name, man. It was fucking in the past.
SPEAKER_02Dennison, Denison. Dennison is the guy. Here's why I stopped doing them. I stopped doing them because Trend Todd is not a popular Todd. So when I go on trend, I can't be do live recordings. Or you get banned. Right. So it's not worth getting the YouTube channel in trouble over the lives. Yeah. It's like like there is a period where I would answer people's comments in Instagram and not even aggressively, just say no or yes, and that would get it pulled down as drug promotion.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02So it's like I pretty much gotta stay out of the comments.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. And it on Instagram is much worse nowadays.
SPEAKER_02Every direct message is mu is responded to. Nice. So it's like like it's like almost like we we do want people to comment, but yeah, I can't answer you if you ask a question. But I can in a direct message in theory.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, in theory, because uh since the eighth of this month, Meta now has access to all of your messages. There's no encryption anymore.
SPEAKER_02So I knew that was the case anyway, so that's why I never answered illegal sourcing questions or I never answer medical questions, because that would be illegal too, to answer in that format. So, like, therefore, it's usually I just directed people who needed to ask sensitive material to get a proper consult.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that's that's what I do as well. And people think it's like, oh, you're just like trying to gatekeep and like just make money and shit. And I'm like, no, I'm just trying to not get my business banned.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's just real simple. The in I just explained, like, Mark Zuckerberg turned over control of Meta to the White House already once. I don't trust them not to do it again. Yeah. So I'm not gonna have conversations that are not illegal for HIPAA violation reasons or any other reasons in um in something that is monitored by the United States government. Like it doesn't make sense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's like you're it'd almost be like you're committing a crime in front of a a camera. Yep. And them asking you a question is committing a crime, and you hearing the question is theoretically a crime. So it's like you know, like you you it's just uh it's so confusing and none of this is enforced yet, but we don't know what they're gonna do one day. And then they've got records like 10, 20, 30 years.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And you you can't, you you're not gonna receive notice, it's just gonna like happen. So like it's uh I I don't I don't fuck with that either. And especially like the more I talk to people, the more I know that's like, oh, they just want a hit of dopamine. But like, even if you even if I were to give you the full laid out of a plan on how exactly to fix your whole life situation, you wouldn't fucking do it. People people don't do it. They they wouldn't fucking do it. So like I don't even I don't even bother anymore, man. But I have a second game for you. This one is called keep, kill, rewrite. So one of them you get to keep the way it is, one of them you kill for good. You never have to deal with it ever again, and the other one you have to rewrite into a way that actually makes sense. Pinning three times a week, blasting crews, or texting you instead of calling you.
SPEAKER_02Kill texting me instead of calling. I mean, I don't want anyone to call text me ever under any circumstance. Even if they're dying and 911's broken, don't text. But and and no, if this just loops into the other conversation, is I know that all text messages are recorded and they totally are. We have a book written on that. I don't even want you ever texting me because I don't want to be have proof I knew you when you commit a crime. Because then you're a criminal texting me. I don't want to even know you. Don't text me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yep. Now, Todd, if you if you if you could only use three drugs and three supplements.
SPEAKER_02Let's go back to the original question. What were the other two options?
SPEAKER_00So the other one is rewriting it to make it kill, rewrite, and keep.
SPEAKER_02Kill, rewrite, and keep.
SPEAKER_00And then what were my three choices? Painting three times a week, blasting cruise and texting you.
SPEAKER_02Well, is keeping the texting where they can't text me, or I have to kill you. Keep, you're gonna have people text you instead of calling you forever. Oh no, forget that. No, it's kill texting. That's the most important one. Kill texting. And then and people are like, well, how do you date girls? I don't like they have to call me on their phone or I don't answer text messages. Yeah, yeah. I just direct them to call me. Yeah. And so girls won't do that. So it's just no girls. All right, that's it. No girls or phone call people anymore. So it's text. Okay, so it's m rewrite, keep it the way it is, kill it. Killing texting, then there's three times a week shots, and then blasting and cruising. So which do I hate more? What would one of which one of them do I like and which one of them do I want to rewrite? Well, I don't like either of them. I want to rewrite them both. So which one do I hate less? It's uh I guess I hate blasting and cru no, no, no. All right, I guess okay. Making you work, man. I see the sweat coming out. It's more daily injections is more important than not blasting and cruising. So I would rewrite three times a week injections and I would keep blasting and cruising. Yeah. Although if I could rewrite blasting and cruising, it would be you run as much as you can handle without having anything in the yellow. And then in theory, you don't have to do a health phase. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And that and uh people are like, what does that mean? It means that a health phase is the new way of saying cruising.
SPEAKER_00It really is. It really is. It's just this is not a conversation like the one about uh, you know, uh bulking, for instance. This is this is it's not just terminology. Blasting and cruise, it kind of is terminology in the sense of like going to a growth phase and then going back to a health phase or something like that, you know? But yeah, it's um it's a it's a little bit different. I I have another one. You can only use three drugs and three, well, let's do three peptides since we already talked about drugs. You can only do three peptides and three supplements for the rest of your life. What are you stacking?
SPEAKER_02Well, growth hormone is a peptide and insulin's a peptide, and I need those to live. So I'm gonna take those two. Okay, and then I would think T3 is technically a peptide because it is also not based on cholesterol. Interesting. I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, dude. I like it. T3, I would need to live, so I'm gonna manage those three peptides. Like and then I'll supplements uh because a peptide just means a protein-based hormone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so and then when it comes to supplements, I would probably go with like a multivitamin and fish oil. And what would I do for the third? I know it's not TED Cup. Probably testosterone sypinate. If we can count as a supplement, as that would be a supplement. It's like, well, because that's what what are the six most important things you have to have that we can manage and manually control?
SPEAKER_00I mean, you're already covering a lot of ground with with uh fish oil there, so that's covering like heart lipids.
SPEAKER_02I guess okay, that's a good point. I guess my third supplement is I would take heart health by Todd Lee M D. Nice dot com. Or like that. TLMB SUPS is the official business name. Yeah. Okay. So like, yeah, that would be the one, because that's like seven supplements in one, so I'm cheating. Nice. Because I took a multivitamin, so that was like 30 supplements in one. Because my multivitamin is 12 capsules. And then uh my shit heart health is like seven capsules, and that's five or six supplements. And then my fish oil, I don't sell fish oil yet.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Yeah, fish oil is it's hard. I I I I uh I was on a class with Dom Cuza, and he was talking about fish oil and like the whole like oxidation and stuff like that. So definitely talk to him about uh the conversation there because he he actually I I was a believer that you had to buy the most expensive refrigerated type of fish oil. And he basically went and showed us uh a couple of studies that they gave people oxidized fish oil, and then they compared it with a group that give got no oxidized fish oil in a placebo. And uh, the people that got the oxidized fish oil, they had no change in their inflammatory markers like at all. There was just nothing going on like that could be measured whatsoever.
SPEAKER_02So I think what you're saying is that even if the fish oil smells fishy and is rancid, yep, it still works just fine. Yep, and it's not harmful. All right. So what's funny is I've been doing that my whole life. Yeah. All my fish oil was cheap because I was poor most of my life. So I always just add like what do you call it? And by poor I mean after you subtract out the bodybuilding expenses. Right, right, right. Yeah, like what do you actually have left? And it's like nothing or a little bit. Like Jake Hutler said he spent a hundred grand on just drugs and massages one year, I think.
SPEAKER_00I believe that. It's very volatile, actually. Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_02And that was in a video. That's not me from a personal conversation. If someone says something to me in person, I remember that it's in person, and then that's in the vault. It's settled. Yeah. I'm I'm like I'm never saying that to anybody, even under penalty of death. But like this was sent in a video, so I assume that he's comfortable with people knowing this. Is it was like a hundred grand worth of massages and appointments and tanning and the steroids and all that and the supplements, it was all a hundred grand. So the cost of bodybuilding when you do your taxes, that he was able to write off about a hundred grand worth of stuff, not including the stuff, the actual legal stuff, of course.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I that that's one of the perks of working in this industry is that you get to write off a lot of shit. Because I'm like, just my supplement stack is like six, seven hundred bucks a month, man. Not counting peptides, not counting drugs, not counting anything. And it's just like, god damn. And I'm not even buying all the fancy brands, fucking metagenics and whatnot. Like, I'm just I'm going off of like whatever. It's reliable. I got a couple of things tested. I was surprised to find that like bulk supplements, their magnesium contained almost no magnesium whatsoever. It was wild. I definitely should have like created a lawsuit or some shit because it was uh bunk as shit. But talking about bunk, I haven't heard you talk about the the rate this one yet, so I want to know. I want to know an overrated, an underrated and a dangerous peptide.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I have to can I wish I had a list so I could look at it. Hold on. I got a list. Underrated, overrated, and dangerous. Well, T3 is to potentially dangerous if you overdo it, obviously. Yeah, you gotta overdo it a lot. I think NAD plus is probably overrated, especially for people under 40. Yeah. I think it's just legal, so everyone's pushing it because they want to make money. And people are like, I have low energy. I'm like, I thought it's there for glutathione production. It's like like I thought you're supposed to take this because you can't afford glutathione or some shit. Like I would say, and what was the last option? What's the best one? No, overrated, underrated, and then dangerous. Underrated GH. And then dangerous. I guess T3 is dangerous. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That GH is really underrated.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, GH really is underrated. It's uh when it was grew from DDT method, he asked me the question of like what would what would I run? I basically said, like, you know, if I'm trying to get shredded, it's gonna be clin, growth hormone, and T3. And like when we talked about glorious hormone, I was like, why growth hormone? And I'm like, literally, it's one of the most underrated things ever. I hear people talking about how it's like not worth it if you do it under an arbitrary number of units, and how it's like at the same time, these are the same people who tell you that if you take the prescribed fucking dose of six milligrams, that's too much now. So it's like, where the fuck does the where where does this live, man? Like, where where are we supposed to be taken here?
SPEAKER_02All right. So I think the problem is people are looking at it from their point of view about what their goal is, and they're not looking at all of the potential ways that it helps all the potential people. And that's what it really comes down to.
SPEAKER_01The versatility of it, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So like that there's literally a zero percent of people over 40 that shouldn't be using it for one reason or another. Like it's absurd that it's not it like something standard that everyone gets when they're 40.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. When I when I put eyes on HRT, it goes growth hormone, testosterone, and T3, always. I put all three.
SPEAKER_02Well, it depends on like I'm never concerned about someone starting growth hormone without labs because they can always stop using it and they're right back to where they were before they started. There's zero risk associated with it unless you already have cancer. Period. Yep. Like there's zero risk associated with unless you already have cancer. So and people are like, well, I'm talking about HRT dose. So like one to two units a day, there's zero risk. You're just gonna age slower. And if you're ready making two or three units, if you're ready making two or three units, maybe you would only benefit from four. And that's where that myth comes from. If unless you use four, don't use it at all. And I was like, yeah, if you're 20s or 30s, unless you're gonna use four, well, you don't need it because it's not gonna do anything. You're not taking more than your body makes. Four is superhuman dose, two is a normal human dose.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. I like that. Hey Todd, I have some questions here that I wrote down from basically just watching all of your videos, because I did actually watch all of them. As a matter of fact, I've watched the videos all the way until the point that Todd Lee was nice on camera. Todd Lee had his coat on and he was explaining things with a smile on his face and all of this stuff, probably before the internet actually got to him. So I I I've got a question here. The first one is um, because you because you strike me as someone who approaches everything with the same level of precision and technical depth where it's like blood work, biochemistry, or whatever the fuck you're into. Like, and I and I heard you're into guns, and I have a pass in competitive shooting. So talk to me about that because I feel like uh for someone with your brain, it probably went way deeper than just owning a piece.
SPEAKER_02Well, what do you okay? So when I was a little kid, I would do book reports on Punisher War Journal. I would talk about how each type of bullet enters the body and what kind of mushroom effect it has. Like we're talking fourth grade, fifth grade. Like I would draw pictures showing where the bullet enters and where the exit wounds were, and show them to the class. It was shit like that. So obviously, I was going to therapy a lot. I had, I had nunchucks, katanas, what do you call it? Blowguns. Yeah. Like me and my buddy Ryan, who's my lawyer now, we all had like all these types of ninja weapons and shit. We would practice throwing ninja stars, like we were just totally into like that kind of stuff. Yeah. And then when I got into role-playing games, it was like, whoa, like I can actually take my information and use it.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02And it's like, if you have to be in a simulation universe that someone else is interacting with before they're a video game, before they're video game RPGs, you're the fucking CPU and you're the graphics card because you have to be able to describe it so they see it in their head. And like, if you get good enough to where you can describe a scene to three people, three kids, and then when they talk about it later, there's no discrepancy in what they saw in their heads. You know what I mean? Even though you didn't mention she had a green shirt on, you're like, she was an Irish girl with red hair. And then they all pictured the green shirt without you having to say it was a green shirt. That's so cool. You know, like that that's a really crude example. But like, so when I'm talking about guns, when they go to use a gun and it jams and they have to unjam the gun in the game, I have to describe what the jam was. So they have to figure out how to unjam it. Like that's how detailed you have to get, way deeper than an actual video game RPG. So like I've had to understand everything like that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. That's pretty cool, man. When I was in uh fourth and fifth grade, there's a uh um a memory that I was passed on by uh the Sunday school teacher, and she remembers that when she was uh she left the classroom one time. We were learning about Jonah and the and the big fish, which by the way, it's not a whale, it's just a big fish. But like he uh she left the classroom, and when she came back, I was standing. On top of the desk, and I was challenging the kids and just being like, Do you guys really think this dude lived inside of a fish for like three days and three that doesn't happen? Come on now. And yeah, that's just my personality, man. I just uh it's just who I've been my entire fucking life.
SPEAKER_02It's weird, man. People. So you have a scientific mind, a skeptical mind. Very scientific. It's like the Joseph and the Mary situation. Yeah. It's like, all right, I can buy that God just comes down from heaven and bang bangs random poor chicks. Okay. That's cool. Got it. But the fact that she's a virgin but and she was married, I don't fucking buy it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. She was, she was, so she was actually, she was actually like promised into marriage, but they hadn't actually like consummated into the the situation.
SPEAKER_02Now I believe it. Yeah. Okay, I didn't realize. I thought that they were already married. No, no, no, no, no. Yeah. No, not yet. Oh, now I believe it. All right. All right. Now it changed my whole view. I guess I'm Christian because that was the only part I didn't buy. That was the only part I didn't buy.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy, man. We're actually going to talk about religion a little bit down the road, but I I need to know your position on movie trailers because I have a feeling it's going to be a rant that I fully agree with. You said you hate trailers because you essentially are able to like deduce the film entirely from them. So walk me through the logic here.
SPEAKER_02Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_00But like I think there's actually like a deeper point in people like uh just like people that just consume stuff in general. I hate trailers. And if I want to watch a movie, you know how many people I'm gonna tell you about the movie? Zero. I don't want anyone knowing that I have any interest in this shit. I don't want to know it. I don't want to see it in social media. I don't want anything. I want to be surprised by that shit, you know?
SPEAKER_02Well, like I never watched a critical drinker before I watch something unless he's talking it up. If it's something I wasn't gonna watch, but he likes it, I'll watch it. If it's something he's gonna shit on, I don't want to hear his opinion because I'm not as critical as he is of movies. Yeah. Like, for example, one of my favorite parts ever of all the Game of Thrones is when Liana Moormont murders that troll, uh the giant. As he's killing her, she kills him too. That was just the most hardcore shit ever. Yeah. And it's like he hated it because he thinks a little girl shouldn't be able to kill. And it's like, dude, for four seasons they built up how badass she was. Yeah. That she had to carry one of the greatest noble houses all by herself as like an eight, nine-year-old girl. She's hard as iron. She's she's just if if she was a hobbit and a man, you would have been cool with it. Right, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, if she's four feet and 11 inches and 110 pounds, it doesn't matter if she's a vagina or yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's the in cinematography, that's just called internal consistency. So, like, if it makes sense in the world that the the that they created, then it makes sense because that's the world. You live in that fantasy, you live in that reality, you know. But I I feel like a lot of people don't take that into consideration. Now, uh, something absolutely cool that I think you're gonna appreciate. When I was getting my masters, I was learning a lot of languages. I've learned nine languages when I was doing my masters. Like, I was kind of bored of learning like real languages. So I thought, like, I want to learn a fake language. And at the time I was watching Game of Thrones a lot. So I thought, you know what I want to learn? I want to learn fucking Dothraki. So I started learning Dothraki, but then I realized like most of the show, it's actually in High Valerian. So I started doing research on High Valerian. I started learning High Valerian. Dude, I found the guy who created the language. I emailed him and he emailed me back the transcripts and the voice recordings that all of the actors use to learn High Valerian for the show, dude. No way. Yep. I still have that. It's absolutely fucking mind-blowing. Just the voice recordings, and I'm just like imagining all of the actors like learning this shit, and I'm like, fuck, that is cool as shit.
SPEAKER_02So, like, what what the two times I've used languages like that is I was in one, I played in one game, uh, a VTM game, and I played the same character for something like 26 years. All of he knew Enochian, which was a language that pretty much no one knew since the fall of the Tower of Abel. And so, like, he taught it to his children so that him and his children could always communicate in Enochian in front of other people in case for whatever reason telepathy was broken. And then the other group, they knew Ega's sign language that they learned in Japan, so they could use sign language to communicate with each other, and only people in their group knew that language.
SPEAKER_00Huh.
SPEAKER_01That's cool.
SPEAKER_02So, like it's like the idea of the you knowing high Valerian, you could probably very few people speak that, so you could use it as a secret cryptography language.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Me and my wife, we actually talk Portuguese because no one knows Portuguese, so we just speak in Portuguese. But then my fucking sister-in-law decided to marry a Brazilian, so now we need to learn another language to be able to communicate because it's not at, you know, everybody understands what the fuck we're saying now. So yeah, it it just it happens, but you you you made a comment in a Valentine's Day QA uh around like an hour 30 for the people who want to check it out. You said that something along the lines of like reading studies not being actually enough to understand science and what's actually happening under the hood. Like that's not enough. So I need I need you to unpack that fully a little bit because I I think it's one of the most important things that anyone in this space could hear, especially nowadays that people think that finding a study with a title that sounds similar to what the fuck you're talking about, that that alone supports your conclusions. So walk me through a little bit of that.
SPEAKER_02All right. So each study is like a Christmas ornament. So reading a bunch of studies, you just bought a bunch of Christmas ornaments. But going to school is buying the Christmas tree. So you can you have no tree to hang those ornaments on. You can't decorate with those ornaments, you can't practice the art of medicine. Yep. By you can't artistically decorate that tree. With what you got, is you just have a bunch of science data. And then here's the thing the people that didn't go to school, they don't know how to read the method section to see how dumb the methods are.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And they didn't take statistics, so they don't know how to see whether the sample size is valid. And then they also don't have deductive reasoning to determine is the sample is the sample population tested relevant to the population I'm considering, like either myself or my clients. Like if all the research on this drug was done on diabetic women who don't exercise, that information is very limited in value. It's about as useful to me as a rat study.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I agree entirely. It's it's one of the things that I noticed because I have a degree in in philosophy. And in philosophy, you you take logic. You I took philosophy of science as one of the like one of the classes that I chose to take, just to understand the underlying like behind everything on like that we get into like once you go into med school. I want to understand the actual methodology, why we've created the methodology, why it exists and it stands in the way that it does. So it like I don't have as many gaps, but I still have gaps in my knowledge that I think uh uh going to med school would actually like help me pierce these things together, even though on a lot of topics like endocrinology, it's gonna be way more superficial than what I already know. But it's like it's a it's the ability to connect those things. So you don't have just a bunch of isolated ornaments that then your brain, without you knowing, is just fabricating connections and narratives in between them. And that becomes your philosophy. So like it's something that I'm super fucking like sketched out about. Like I'm I try to be as objective as possible and try to be like as upfront with my biases. I always present my biases in my videos and stuff, but it's just like, man, I really don't see that happening in this space. And unfortunately, you know, people are not watching my videos, they're watching videos of guys that see a study on fucking in vitro, right? Or in cell cultures, and they're just saying that this peptide will do this in this population of humans in a predictable fashion with my discount code. People want to hear that, and I'm like, son of a bitch, man, how the fuck do I compete with that shit?
SPEAKER_02You know, they want to hear that that they click this one button once, then some magic number gets removed from the theoretical bank account that they don't even know was in there, and that they will get something in the mail that they don't have to inject that they can just swallow and it makes their problem goes away. Yeah. And and they're gonna believe anyone who tells them what they want to hear because they have confirmation bias. And that's the philosophical problem with a lack of scientific education, is that people don't understand, like they don't understand the nocebo effect, they don't get understand the placebo effect, they don't understand confirmation bias, and they don't understand groups of a feather flock together. So you're gonna have an echo chamber of people who think just like you, giving you a bunch of incorrect false positives on sampling of a population. Basically, you're gonna have incorrect statistical analysis of a population's opinion based off the people around you, and you hear it so much you'll accept it as reality because you have a very loose grasp of reality because you don't have a science background. So for people who don't go to school, science is a religion. They actually believe in science.
SPEAKER_00Which I always found to be a weird statement. It's such a weird thing to say.
SPEAKER_02Science is the skeptical pursuit of the truth, where you try to disprove everything that others believe and find out what the truth is, and that you ultimately, if you have a hypothesis, you're trying to prove the opposite, the null hypothesis. Yes, and in the in no matter how hard you try, you can't prove the null hypothesis. You have no choice but to accept your hypothesis as valid. Yeah. Yeah. But that requires statistics. You can like for instance, Todd Lee says this works this way, but he's stupid because he only uses it on himself and just and Todd Lee thinks that everyone reacts like he does. No, I literally don't know any other data that exists except for my N equal one experimentation on certain things. And that in what I've seen, your average person responds the way I do, just with a much more dramatic effect. That my body can handle experimentation and I will be fine. Other people could use a quarter or a tenth dose of me and have side effects. So they're not prone to self-experimentation.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. A hundred percent. Now, uh this this one is interesting because I'm completely with you on this one. So I want to have a conversation about it. Um, because I I think caffeine is just one of the most like blindly accepted performance tools in the fitness industry that nobody fucking questions. So you don't you don't use caffeine. I don't love caffeine. I think it's just a fucking sledgehammer to accomplish something that we have much more refined options to go for. So let's actually make a case for why the average person is probably doing themselves more harm than good by being dependent on caffeine every single day.
SPEAKER_02Number one problem people have is they don't sleep. And the number one cause of that is caffeine because they feel the effects wear off. They think that the side effects have worn off. That is not the way it works. That you feel the effects of caffeine for a few hours, but for the next 25 hours, your sleep's gonna be disrupted.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Your body literally builds more adenosine in order to fight back. Like it's not just like downregulating, it's like actively fighting against it, you know?
SPEAKER_02Caffeine sucks. Yeah. And it it's a, you know, like my partner, Dr. Karina Dodson, she loves using it for protectivity and for fat loss, but that's confirmation bias. She's a caffeine advocate. So there because she likes using caffeine.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't like the way caffeine makes me feel. I become more of an asshole. I'd rather just be sleepy and peaceful and polite than be hyper and productive and rude because I'm at that point where I don't need to be more productive. I just need to be patient with people. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. No, 100%. Let's talk on another one here. So you touched on this. There seems to be a pattern that you noticed where uh GH drives glucose up and then people feel hungrier. So they tend to overeat on growth hormone. And then the whole protocol just gets derailed, not by the pharmacology itself, but by the environment and the behavior around it. So the same thing happens with trend balone, right? You're you're burning more, you need more calories, but you can't sleep, and sleep desperation is likely working against everything that you're trying to accomplish. So, how do you actually manage the environmental and the behavioral side of these protocols when the compound themselves are creating conditions that work against that person's goal?
SPEAKER_02You just don't abuse the compound. Like if you're taking so much GH that you're getting insulin resistant from your high carb content, then rather than increasing the insulin, you could just decrease the GH. If the IGF one doesn't go down, no harm, no foul.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. But what if I'm a drug addict and I just like using a drug addict and I just like using PEDs as my drug of choice, you know?
SPEAKER_02Well, then that's where we talk about confirmation bias again. So what you have is a lot of drug addicts who are recreational bodybuilders because they're trying to cope for that they're just a drug addict. And so they made up this illusion that there's something that they're not. And it's like if you compete in bodybuilding, you're not recreational. Now you're you might be doing the bodybuilding to justify the steroid abuse. But at least you're doing something. Yeah, you're collecting trophies, you're getting marketing material. Now, if you choose not to market with that, then that's on you. Like if you're an accountant and you can't justify competing, how are you justifying steroid use? Like you don't need more bigger muscles to type on keys. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I agree. I agree a hundred percent. Now, uh, I I I try to acknowledge your full title titled here. So uh I I I I I I have in front of me Mr. Reverend Dr. Todd Lee, IFBV Pro. So, how does one become an ordained minister while simultaneously being a biochemist, a medical doctor, and a professional bodybuilder? Like, how does this work, man?
SPEAKER_02It was just okay, so there's this website where you could just order it. And so I just ordered titles for 30 bucks. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh, I went to school for this.
SPEAKER_02I'm not an ordained minister. It was the Reverend Dr. Todd Lee. I took that title because it was so offensive. Because there's the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and I was like, that is such a mouth hole full. I was like, I want to be Reverend Dr. Todd motherfucking Lee MD. Yeah. So I was like, so I ordered it so I could add Reverend to my name. I like that. But I actually did a check the box apostle, I mean prophet, because it's I made up a religion. So because I didn't want to have to argue with anyone about whether I knew the religion or not enough to be a reverend. So I just made up my own religion, gave myself the title of apostle and the form of address of reverend. Holy shit. That's a lie. Now I want to say that. So that way I can say I'm basically the or prophet, not apostle, a prophet. So I'm like the fifth prophet. If John Smith was the fourth prophet and Muhammad is the third prophet, I'm the fifth prophet. And so if someone says, well, that's not God's will, it's like, well, it's my God's will. And then because I directly talk to him.
SPEAKER_00It's my religion. I do whatever the fuck I want. Now you you've actually talked about something that's very interesting. I have uh I'm a, you know, I have uh peer-reviewed like papers published on this uh in this field and stuff like that, because it's uh it's actually where I came from. So you've talked about the entropy argument, you the idea that chaos does not spontaneously organize itself into order, that the second law of thermodynamics essentially just makes the materialistic explanation for the complexity of the universe just deeply unsatisfied. And you've said that you're interested in peeling back the layers of reality and understanding what's underneath, but you're not sure about what's actually worshiping the entity at the bottom of that. So, where are you actually at with that question right now? And has your scientific background make it harder or easier for you to sit with?
SPEAKER_02Where did I say this?
SPEAKER_00Was it with Andy Routiner? I don't remember the podcast, man, but you you did men you did mention like how it was a passing comment in which you were basically saying, like, it just like I I don't go too deep on this, but it seems to me that the complexity of the universe just points to something which is like you didn't go in detail into like the teleological argument, but it does seem that there is order, and order does not create itself from chaos, chaos breeds more chaos. So you need to have an orderly something in order to generate order out of chaos, which is essentially the story of Genesis 1. I'm not a Christian, so we can talk about all of this stuff in a very free way.
SPEAKER_02Either way, Big Bang or creationism, you didn't get order out of chaos. Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have Yag Sagoth, if you want to use the HP Lovecraft explanation, it's like Yag Sagoth is basically space and time. And then Azigothoth is chaos, that basically all things, it's the blind mad god of chaos. So madness and entropy are kind of the same concept, just whether it's in the astral plane or the primaterial plane. And then, like when you're talking about Shubnagurath, Shubnagurath would be the goat of a thousand young, which is the closest thing we have to a mother nature from that pantheon. And then in the Judeo-Christian pantheon, the closest thing to a creator we have, um of what do you call it, mother nature we have would be Lilith of all people, who was demonized because and turned into Lamasu by the, I believe, the Akkadians. It's just like, but if you look at, if you believe H. P. Lovecraft really did take some of the material from the uncovered Ur archaeological site from 1908 when he made his creations, and the false Necronomicon was created from his writings, if you're cross-referenced the false Necronomicon from Avery Books and like 84 with the actual religion of Mesopotamia, like Sumer and whatnot, I can see a good argument that Shubnagurath would have been a prototypical Lilith. And that if you have a Mother Nature, Mother Nature would have to cancel out chaos because she gives birth to life. So it's taking random chemicals like oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, and then spinning it into a bacteria that can't be done through spontaneity. Dude, that's and people are like, oh, you don't understand. It's given an infinite amount of time. No, it doesn't.
SPEAKER_00We've tested that. We've literally tested that. We've tested it with multiple computational models and it doesn't, it doesn't exist. That's not how it works. Which is like, it's interesting because when you look at the how scientists have basically laid out the Big Bang, there is essentially when they pulled all of the scientists that are the known scientists for the theory of the Big Bang, there is only three that believe that the Big Bang is the beginning of everything. Everyone else believes that everything already existed, and then the Big Bang was basically what brought it into order. So it's like that actually goes hand in hand with uh the the the what like Genesis 1 actually lays out, a little bit different in Genesis 2, but in Genesis 1, the idea is that when the universe was empty and void of any form and shape, God said, Let us bring order into this, which is also like a plural language, so super fucking interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think the exact words from the NIV translation was Elohim, which in ancient Babylonian means God's plural.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it is a plural.
SPEAKER_02It's a it's a it's a compound plural. Where basically the Yahovohe, which is very similar to a Hebrew pronunciation of Yagasagov, if the Yahovohe created all the angels, we wouldn't it really be the goat of a thousand young that created all the angels? Because if the Elohim are gods, but the Elohim are Ali actually Anunnaki, and the Anunnaki have multiple wings, and if you read the explanation of what angels actually look like, they look like Anunnaki. So it's like the Anunnaki would be the Elohim. They're the ones who are out creating stuff. Yeah. So that in Christianity, we would call the fusion of basically we'd have Yahavohe is the male that creates everything because they demonize femininity.
SPEAKER_00When really non-male, he's a he's both male and female, so that's when he comes to the room.
SPEAKER_02You've got lip and the male half together that actually produces the thousand young, which would be the Elohim or the Anunnaki, or the angels. Prior to the to the You see why I had to make my own religion, because if I was to talk about this, people would be like, I'm gonna kill you. That's my God. And like, no, no, no, I'm talking about my religion. Oh man, I I know your religion, I can quote you your religion, your religion's attacked. I made my own, and I'm crazy. And this is what I think.
SPEAKER_00No, I I honestly like one of the things that made me so happy about leaving the academic space in this in the world of religion was that I didn't have to talk to people about it anymore because people were they are physically unable to have a detached conversation from their emotions, from their beliefs. They just fucking can't do it. It's impossible. It's crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_02They can't do it. So you pretty much have to talk to yourself for 30 years about do your own Bible study of read your own Quran, read your translations from Hebrew of the all, and come up with your own religion, and you basically have your own ethics code, and I you know, and that's it. And if I ever have kids, I'll teach them this shit, and people think I'm crazy, but I'll teach them like this is what these people believe. So when you talk to them, this is what they you want them to think you believe. This is what these people believe. So when you talk to them, this is what you want them to think you believe. This is what these people believe. You when you talk to them, you this is what you want them to think you believe. And that's the only way to survive in this world.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Dude, you know what was interesting was like when people would ask me a question, and then I would respond and just be like, you know, this is basically how it works, and this is the view that I think it makes the most sense with uh with this framework that you have going on and all this type of stuff. And people were like blown away. It was like, oh my gosh, I never heard this. This is amazing. But like, wait, but you don't live this way. Like, do you believe this shit? And I was like, no, I don't fucking buy it at all. But like you do. So like I'm able to think within your framework, but you are incapable of Stepping outside of your own worldview in in order to think.
SPEAKER_02So like the reason I think it is is they're not actors. And I never did formal acting, but I was a dungeon master. Which means if you're in a game and I'm running the game, if you gotta go to the bakery and buy some bread, I have to play the baker. I also have to play the baker's wife. I also have to play the baker's son. I also have to play the baker's dog. And then you go across the street to the blacksmith. I have to play the blacksmith. I have to play the kid that he kicks because he's moving too slow. I have to play the cat that's in the corner licking its own asshole and then looking at you. I have to play everybody. So like I can get in their head, figure out how they think. The more I listen, the more you let people talk, the more they tell you. You listen to everything they think, and now you know how they think. You know what they're going to do before they do it. Dude, a hundred percent. And you're like, is the reason why your T3 is so low because you didn't take it the morning of the blood work? Oh my God, of course. I didn't take it the morning of the blood work. How'd you know that? I was like, because I know you're gullible as fuck, and you listen to whatever your dumbass doctor told you. And stupid motherfucker doctors are so goddamn dumb they tell people not to take their medicine the day of the to see what it was doing.
SPEAKER_00It's kind of like when people are gonna see what the drug's doing if they didn't take it, asshole. It's the it's the same thing when people were talking about like how uh, oh, even if you inject it daily, take three days off your injections to then take your testosterone test. I'm like, why? Why the fuck would I do that? I want to see exactly what's happening daily. I'm never gonna go three days who the fuck said that. I'll tell you behind behind closed doors here. That doesn't make any sense.
SPEAKER_02What the fuck? It doesn't. It doesn't. It's it's wild, man. The whole point was I want a straight line out of that hormone. I don't want it to go up and down. Why the fuck would we tamper with it? My God, people are so like the sheer concept of a test is you're getting the truth. So why would you change everything before you get the test?
SPEAKER_00The test is it about? Yep, yep, absolutely, a hundred percent. Now you've you have uh um to our religion conversation here, you've uh you've talked about like going to a bodybuilding show for the first time and you had this type of experience that was like almost divine, right? Where like like people had like ascended something inside themselves that most people never touch. And there's actually an ancient theological concept in Greek Orthodox Christianity that came from uh Psalm 82 when Jesus quotes and he tells human beings, he says, You are God. So the idea being that divinity and humanity, they're not opposites, but that human beings actually carry something of the divine nature inside of them, just waiting to be expressed. Have you actually like gone down this like rabbit hole at the end of the day?
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, sure, sure. Yeah? Yeah, I mean, like so the Holy Ghost could be the divine shard. So the idea is that like Yahovohe or Shabnagurath, whatever, every time they created an Elohim, whatever, they didn't have to fraction off a part of themselves. Yep, but but when they created mankind, humans, humans got a piece of God in each and every one of them. Yep. So every person has the ability to shape the fabric of reality at will, but they don't believe in themselves because the greatest thing, this is so great. Everyone worships this religion of science. And in the religion of science, they say magic isn't real, and people believe that, which is fucking wild. They believe that magic's not real, so they can't use it. They've literally cut themselves off for magic. And so, like, you're like, how do you do all that shit? How do you achieve the pinnacle of multiple divergent hierarchies simultaneously? It's like by just using magic that I basically choose on what I want the future to be, and I concentrate on that goal. What you know, people who play with crystals, they'll call it new age, they'll call it mystic, they'll call it spirituality, and they'll say, like, what you do is you reach out with the positivity and you track positive, or it's the power of visualization. All this is is basically mainstreaming pieces of basic magic theory that's been around for hundreds of years, and just watering it down and giving it to the humans in the population is drinking water, trying to fight back against this, but they can't use the word magic. As soon as someone hears the word magic, they think that means it's not real.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They've tr they've converted the conscious mind of the modern day human into thinking magic is the opposite of science.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Whereas true scientific method would be we don't know magic isn't real. Or we can't measure that with our current. We can't prove magic's not real, so we don't know that magic isn't real. Shit that if we, you know, talk to someone from the 1970s about some of the shit you did today, and they'll think you're crazy. And that's because technology has advanced so much that everything's different. And so the life of a man or woman in 2026 is different than 1975 in every way almost. And not necessarily for the better, but technology, people are like, well, there's a scientific explanation for that. I'm like, really? You have a scientific explanation for why this box lets me telep telepathically communicate with the entire planet. Yeah, that I don't buy it because I don't know how that works. Yeah. I don't scientifically know how that works. And so to me, it's fucking magic because I don't know how it works.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And so, like, furthermore, if I concentrate on what I want my outcome to be, I get that outcome. It's worked my whole life like that. I may not get it the way I think I'm gonna get it, but if you read about magic, that's how magic works. You curse someone and then they get into a car accident, you know, like, or you pray for wealth, or you you cast a spell to get wealth and your relative dies and they leave you a lot of money. That when you use black magic, there's a cost. But that doesn't make all magic black. It's like, but that's the easiest way to find magic, is with black magic. So it's what people get into first and they learn that magic's real and then there's a cost. And then they decide, you know what, I'm not gonna use these, I'm gonna just use the core concept is you have the power to shape reality, but you invest your power of your mind into this focus. Like you don't believe in yourself, but you believe in this religious thing. So like I could pray for my, I could just will someone healthy, but I don't believe I can do that. But I believe God can. So I'm gonna pray to God, please heal this person. And then when that person heals, I'm gonna be like, oh, God is great. God gave them health. At no point thinking, I did that, and this was just my magic focus. Like that was my want. Like in Harry Potter, they can't use spells without a wand. I feel like without prayer, prayer doesn't work unless you believe that God's real.
SPEAKER_00Oh, 100%.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, 100%. And so if people believe in science, they don't believe in God. So their prayers don't work because science as a religion says God's not real. So thus praying into science won't work either because they don't believe in science. But what's funny is at least there's technological advances due to people who are engineers using their own personal magic to make their visualization of what they want to invent real. Or like, I want a potion that does this. So I come up with what ingredients do I want that potion to do. And then it's like I end it off to the manufacturer, the alchemist, and they brew the potion, and then all the person has to do is add water and their muscles grow or their fat melts off. It's like, how is that not a fucking magic potion?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, no, 100%. And it's wild when you think about the just the statement God is not real, because that's not a scientific statement because it cannot be proven wrong by science. So it's like now you're getting into a philosophical argument, and most scientists they're just simply not equipped to have a philosophical conversation at all. You know, like even when you go to get a bachelor's of science, you do not learn philosophy of science. You don't learn about the scientific like revolutions and stuff like that in the methodologies and stuff, you know.
SPEAKER_02When I went for my undergrad, yeah, I was obligated for my biochemistry degree to have nine credits of humanities. Nice. But did you choose them but you chose them wisely, right? Yeah. I chose philosophy, Western art, music, and medieval history. Nice. Yeah. And so I luckily had philosophy. I it's not mandatory, yeah, but it is logic is part of philosophy. It is, yeah. So like you'd be a pretty shit scientist if you didn't know logic. And uh, you kind of should learn all of philosophy so you can understand a lot of the shit I'm talking about, whether it's magic or religion. Once you start looking at it from the Eastern perspective, not a Western perspective, where that the medieval god is at war with the modern science. Whereas in the East, it's not like that. They didn't have such rigorous bullshit, they had a blend of philosophical slash spiritual movements over a few thousand years, and they just have a different way of looking at um that there's the open-mindedness to a supernatural world and the acceptance that with your closed mind you can't perceive it. And that, for example, this is a science thing. Many scientists are now saying DMT lets you access the astral plane. They don't use that word, and communicate with entities that exist there, fifth-dimensional beings, spirits, you know, whatever they are, that there's everyone has similar experiences when they use this DMT stuff, apparently. And to me, it's like, okay, so you've got access to astral plane, you've got astral perception. Whereas like people who see ghosts, not saying ghosts are real, but if that was a thing, then you have a you're more sensitive to something that's existing and a different plane of existence, where the memories of emotion are stuck, where that basically the pain of getting murdered in this house lingers there, and dogs and kids are afraid of it and things like that. Like this, there's a women talk about vibes all the time, right? So vibe be communicating in a dimensional plane that is not visible. We can't see vibes floating through the air. But if they can feel it, it's not my place to say they can't feel it. Just because I can't feel it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Dude, man, what other podcasts gets you to talk about this shit? None. Now, let's talk about the shit that people actually fucking care about, okay? So you've you've laid out this uh structural argument very, very cleanly. Primo and EQ, they both share a double bond at position one and two, which is exactly what creates the aromatized effects that we expect.
SPEAKER_02Mastron However, however, it seems like DHB does not. Correct. And right. DHB is an intermediary step between EQ and Primo. Correct. So it means that even though I had a theory, I proved the null hypothesis, which means my theory was false, which was that if primo and EQ were AIs, DHB should be an AI too. And it wasn't. Now maybe that's just in me, but structurally, I don't fucking get it. If you five alpha reduce EQ, you get DHB. If you add a methyl group to position one on DHB, you get primo. So why would primo and EQ be the AI, but not DHB, unless that one methyl prime group is what prevents it from being the AI.
SPEAKER_00But then that just seems weird. Yeah, but I mean Mashron also has like a methyl group, right? But it's at position two. Yeah. So that that wouldn't be the that wouldn't be the case. But it does. It's a completely different class. Yeah, it makes it more simple to like.
SPEAKER_02I basically the EQ class to me is the double bonded position one class. They're the only ones that have that. It and they the fact that two of the three members of the class are AIs, it's just weird as fuck that DHB isn't. It makes me think that because my sample size was one and it was a relatively short study, and there were other compounding variables that it isn't that I'm not convinced. But I also know there are people where Primo is not an AI in. Yes. Very few. There's people who EQ is not an AI in. Right. I know about that too. I could, it doesn't make sense. You'd think that you'd either the whole class would be an AI in you, or none of it would be, or some are stronger than others, like EQ is an extremely strong AI. And I if I use five times the amount of EQ with Primo, I get the same amount of estrogen suppression. Interesting. So the cost benefits of EQ drastically outweighs primo. Yeah. But it's hard as buck to measure. And of course, you're using such a low amount of EQ, there's no anabolic effect to it. Six milligrams. You know, it's mild to begin with. EQ is ultimately just an AI.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02It's functionally useless as an anabolic unless you're immune to its AI effects because it's just too strong. Primo is such a male, mild I that when you have an absence of asteroid, you just don't have a choice. You're gonna have to do test and primo.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. No, that's cool. You you uh you described the relationship between GH, estrogen, and IGF one as having like this almost like color-coded equation where like red plus blue equals purple. So the estrogen level being the actual like rate limiting factor of the GH to IGF one conversion, not the GH dose itself. So when you first started testing this and you saw like going from six to twenty-six units produced the same IGF one on a serum level because the estrogen ceiling hadn't changed, like what did you like like what did that do to the way that you thought about how most people were just wasting money on growth hormone? Did that like go did you go over that?
SPEAKER_02Like not really. Okay because most people don't use more than 10 units.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I could be wrong.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02So I'd rather use 10 units and be on the safe side than use six and just and be missing potential gains. Because what if there's more to the story than IGF one? I think what if GH has other growth factors that it influenced?
SPEAKER_00I really I really think there is because like there's something that changes. It's not just that you look fuller and you you can take like, say, a hundred more calories a day. I don't think it's uh it's that. I it seems to me that the uh tissue level like receptors, which is something that we can't measure, it's the same thing that happens with T3, right? We have muscle skeletal hypo uh um uh thyroidism, actually. That's like a recognized thing in medicine. And I think the same thing happens with IGF one, where like the the the muscle tissue like levels of IGF one is really like what matters, not uh the serum level. So like I actually don't even look at serum levels anymore.
SPEAKER_02The reason why I look at serum levels is as a proxy for what's happening. If I can double serum, I probably doubled intramuscular since the mechanism in the liver and the muscle are pretty much the same. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That makes sense. And I'm not saying it's a one-to-one correlation coefficient. I'm not saying that correlation coefficient is one point zero. I'm just saying the correlation cor correlation coefficient is probably at least a 0.6.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Again, that's a statistics thing. For people who read studies but don't have a science background or a philosophy background or a statistics background, you wouldn't understand that causality and correlation are not the same thing. There can be a relationship without a direct cause. There could be an indirect cause. And if I know that indirect cause, I can stop.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yep. I like that. That works cleanly. So you, you, you are probably the one who like popularized the daily injections, I think, in the field. And you you've made the point that like um one like one milligram of a highly potent compound being equivalent to 200 milligrams of testosterone doesn't mean you grow more muscle. It just means that the serving size is different because muscle protein synthesis has a ceiling that there's no amount of additional drug that can exceed that signal. So, how do you explain that to someone who's convinced that Trend is building more muscle than Mastron when the Tren is really just producing more side effects at the same ceiling?
SPEAKER_02So, well, let's this is there's a lot of things I have to unpack. So, one, potency does not equal efficacy. So let's just potency is the relative dose between two drugs. So one milligram of volume is not one milligram of like Xanax is like 10 milligrams of volume. Yeah. But that doesn't mean taking 10 milligrams of Xanax gets you 10 times as high as one milligram of Xanax. Correct.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Like I can do a I can do a ridiculous amount of Xanax because of my tolerance to uh clonapin is so high, but it's like it's not the same effect at all. Like you're not getting the same shit at all from both of these.
SPEAKER_02So let's take a different example. Like, um simple point, okay. So the reason why people okay, let's say muscle protein synthesis caps out at one pound per month. All right, you can't generate more than one pound per month of muscle. Which is already so let's say you're ready at a one pound per month is your rate. Adding more steroids won't help. It doesn't matter which steroid, it's not gonna help. So you could use less steroids, you know, you could actually reduce some of your toxic doses and increase some of your less toxic doses. And in theory, you'd grow the same rate. The difference is there's a potency issue. So if I subtract 40 milligrams of Tren out a day, that doesn't mean I could put in 40 milligrams of Mastron and get the same results. I might have to put in 200 Masturon to get the same result as 40 Tren, but you won't have the same side effects. And then people are like, well, Mastroon's weak. It's like, okay, but it's harmless. Yeah, you can do a fuck up of it.
SPEAKER_00I guess this is the crude example.
SPEAKER_02This is some you can cut this if you want, okay?
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no, no. We leave everything in, bro. You can talk about whatever the fuck we're doing.
SPEAKER_02I would say like Mastron's like pussy, and using Tren or DECA is like asshole. I love it. Like, it's gonna be more fun most of the time, but every so often it's gonna go horribly wrong and you're gonna be scarred for life. So, like, if you're just getting into fucking, just stick to pussy for the first couple years. So you don't fuck yourself up for good. So it's the same thing with Mastron is kind of like my first steroid. It's completely harmless, and you can use as much as you want, and it's probably not gonna hurt you. At some point, you're just gonna max out muscle growth. But using two, three, four times as much mastron as you're supposed to doesn't matter. Whereas with Trent, I just put in 20 milligrams last night and I had a pimple by the end of the day. That's and that was the anathate. That wasn't even acetate. I took out 25 men and put in 20 anathate. So you'd think my total levels would go down. I immediately got a pepperple.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. Dude, I I I have a question to you about this. I I asked uh Mirchem um from uh Team Evo GSP um uh this question as well, and he he he didn't he didn't have an answer for it, but um I also don't have an answer for it. If I'm losing Nandrolone, okay, I can do like up like 10, 20 milligrams of Nandrolone, like decanoate a day. But if I go to phenopropionate, I can't tolerate that dose. It's way too fucking high for me. It just makes me moody, it makes me fucking dull, it's it's awful. However, trenbolone, I can tolerate up to 30 milligrams per day in the acetate form. So when I started taking the enanthate form at 20 milligrams a day, my thought was this is gonna be fine. Well, it wasn't fine. It like I got night sweats, I got like, I got this like horrible insomnia that I've never had with trin acetate. What could possibly be going on that it created the reverse of what I would expect here? That like the acetate is actually more mild to me versus the enanthate.
SPEAKER_02Did the anathate have time to build up? Yeah, it built up for five weeks. Well then okay, because 20 milligrams a day of anathate would be the equivalent of like 40 a day of acetate. Because if you plot out the graph, it's built up to double uh or triple what you're actually injecting as a daily concentration that just floats around.
SPEAKER_00So you're saying basically because so you're saying basically the the acetate would give me some valleys, and that because I inject it in the morning, then I don't have these issues at night because I'm in the valley point of it. I'm literally at the lowest point, whereas with the enanthate, I'm just holding at that peak for the entirety of the time. Kinda.
SPEAKER_02That with acetate, trend and trin acetate, I think it takes 12 hours to ramp up. It stays at peak level for about 12 hours, which doesn't make any sense pharmacokinetically, and then it starts to slow down. So none of that makes sense. That graph can't be right.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02But probably just spikes really fast and then crashes really hard so that by the time you're going to bed, it's lower than its peak level. So boringathate, it's gonna start really hitting around the second day, and then it's just gonna keep climbing and climbing and climbing for like four weeks, and then you're just gonna be floating along at a level way fucking higher than if you're using acetate. That's why I just look down so much on people who use short esters, is what even though they think they're smart because they're like, this is 97% pure, and the anathete's only 70% pure. So you get more. It's like yeah, but you're holding that up for a day. This actually stays in your system for weeks. How the fuck do you not get that that builds up, man? That's so much stronger to use the anathetes. So it's it's like less side effects and stronger. And what I mean by less side effects is because it comes, it ramps up so slow you won't notice them. And then by the time you're having them, you're like, okay, this dose is too high.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02So you should start reducing the dose. So like if 20 milligrams of anathes are too much, 10 would have been perfect. And that's why when I talk about trend and public things and like reels and whatnot, I'm just like, trend is safe and effective at 10 milligrams a day. You don't need to use more, and if you do, it might cause brain damage.
SPEAKER_00Interesting.
SPEAKER_02Because we should be safe. It's effective at 5 milligrams a day, it's dangerous at 10. And if you use 10 milligrams of an athate, you're getting six milligrams of. And then over time it'll build up to like a 12.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And so you're right in that zone. Dude, so I I have another one. Um I pull, I do uh do my blood work when I'm doing uh uh I believe I believe 75 milligrams of testosterone a day. That's all that I'm doing. That actually, believe it or not, it actually keeps my testosterone levels around 1200, so not super high. Uh I just convert like very poorly, my body was not making. To become a bodybuilder body. Um, but my pull my DHT and my DHT is 244. Okay. So then I go into my proper phase and I ramp up the uh the testosterone stays the same. And the only thing that I add is uh EQ at 20 milligrams per day. What happens to my DHT? My DHT, I expected it to go up when I raised the testosterone dose. So when I brought the testosterone dose to 150 a day, it's a pretty substantial dose, and I maintained the EQ at 20, I pull blood work. And guess what I saw? My DHT that was at 244 now went down to 73. How the fuck did that happen? I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I've never heard of a 200 and anything. Really? Yeah, I've never heard of DHT ever getting that high. I would say like the 70 sounds like a perfect level, but you must have been that would be in a much lower dose if you're using 150 day. I would expect you to cap out. Like your five alpha reductase enzyme is just saturated. Somewhere between the 100 DHT mark and the 150 DHT mark. I don't really think people can get much higher than uh normally than 150 DHT. I don't know why you would have.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And then when I just add EQ at a higher dose of test, then it flips and it lowers it. And I'm like, what the fuck? Like I Alex Skiko, he thought like maybe there's something like subatomical going on, which that conversation got way too deep for me. But I don't understand.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't I wouldn't get into quantum physics to explain blood work. That seems to be too much of a stretch.
SPEAKER_00Now on a more in on a more like simple note, you describe what we know happens. You know, here in the channel we talk about T3 every day. There's at least one video being uploaded on T3 every single day. And you describe that when you go in a caloric deficit, T4 preferentially, you know, removes that iodine atom, but it converts into reverse T3, also to T2, rather than the active form of T3. So essentially it's just like pulling the brake on your metabolism at the exact moment that you're trying to diet. And like how your th uh proposal here was to use carb cycling as your primary tool to keep that conversion pathway open without needing to add medication so soon. How how did you land in uh carb cycling as the thyroid management tool here?
SPEAKER_02Remember, I would say like 15 years ago or so, I had read somewhere that the thyroid, if it gets stimulated with calories every hundred days, it doesn't downregulate. Oh, interesting. So I came up with doing it four day on the fourth day is a carb load. So with my push pillow legs off, I could sync up my carb day with my load, with my leg day. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And that way, and that it works out perfect. And then, you know, you if you were going to use Retta, I would do it after that high day so that on the day after your high day when you're most hungry, your appetite's the most suppressed.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Now if somebody responded to Retta immediately or within a couple hours, then take it the first, you know, the day after when you first wake up.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, it's like I'm not trying to control when they do the drug. I'm just explaining this is what I figured out with me, and this seems to work with everyone else, too.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And actually, we do have research on overfeeding as um as uh a panel where the reverse T3 was elevated, and the overfeeding via fats did not have the same effect on T3 levels versus overfeeding versus uh with carbohydrates. So it actually does make sense mechanistically, right?
SPEAKER_02Right. That's why I always do a carb reload, and I get pissed when they have ribs for their carb reload. Like, how the fuck is ribs reload? Well, I just cheat meal. I'm like, who the fuck said anything about a sheet meal? Refeeding. Well, I don't like the term refeeding because it implies I didn't feed them to begin with. So I just call it a carb load or a high carb. Yeah, I like that because it just takes up the negative word. Like I like John Jewett's word massing, because I think the word bulking implies getting fat. So I wanted to, I'm basically gonna remove the word bulking from the zeitgeist. If it takes me 20 years, I'll just browbeat the shit out of people for using the word bulking. Yeah. Just like how I like came out with the fulgram and the emperor's children as the primo of the the F Warhammer 40k and stuff like that. They wear purple and they worship a Futunari god. And I just so people took that way too far, and they're just like, Todd hates Primo and people who use it, which isn't true at all. I don't hate I think Primo is a shit AI, and I think it's a shit anabolic. But if it's the only thing you have to use, it's still better than nothing, like using a Rimidex.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know what I mean? So because a Rimidex is not anabolic at all, it's just much cheaper. But there's a limit on how much test you can take as a DHT. So unless you're gonna run DHT with a Rimidex with Dutesteride and do blood work so regularly, you don't shut off your dick for good. You know, like it's like it's just safer to run and just run enough DH, do enough test to get the estrogen to get the GH conversion, to get the DHT to make your dick work, but not make your whole hair fall out, and then rely on something safe like Mastodon for anabolics. It just makes sense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Whereas what they're trying to do is balance test and primo without blood work, they're not that smart. They don't even follow my conversation. So if they can't even follow the conversation, and all they heard is Todd likes masteron, master on better than primo. That's all they heard. They're not smart enough to manage their DHT levels with deutesteride while they run their primo with their test.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They're gonna be like, what's testeride?
SPEAKER_00Like right there, you prove my point for me. Wildly enough, these are the people who want to do their own research and do the thing yours themselves as opposed to hiring.
SPEAKER_02Which they just don't have enough money to hire someone. And they're not smart enough to know people who know what they're talking about for people. Yeah, yeah. They think whoever says the thing they hear the most, who's ever in the middle of the herd, is the safest. And I was like, not if I'm dropping bombs, motherfucker. If the I'm gonna drop the bomb on the whole herd. It's the dude over there that's not in the herd that gets to avoid being nuked. Yep. Everyone's so worried about wolves, no one's paying attention to terrorists.
SPEAKER_00I like it. I like it. You you've um you've been pretty direct about like blaming bad genetics. It's almost always just a way to avoid accountability. And then like the one gene that actually matters is the discipline gene. But at the same time, like you also acknowledge that there are real genetic variables in how people have to be. There are real genetic variables. Right. There's like the how they tolerate side effects, how they convert like hormones. Um, we've been covering in our channel the THR uh 92 ALA variant uh that like over half of the population has. So, like, where's the where's the line between a genuine biological constraint that needs to be worked around and someone using genetics as an excuse to just not do the work?
SPEAKER_02I think what makes sense is if the coach, doctor, team did the genetic research on the athlete, figured out what was wrong and what they can do about it, and did it without the athlete hearing they were genetically impaired. Just like they do in schools with slow kids. They test the kids IQ, find out that he's mildly retarded, don't tell the kid, and then years later, they're arguing with me about Primo and Master Off. Because they didn't find out when they were a kid from their teachers and from their doctors that they're fucking retarded because it would change their ability to have confidence in their decision making.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So that they would have no self-actualization in life. In reality, as long as you got like a 95 IQ, you're like an average American and you can get by just fine. I forget about that when I'm answering comments, but I need to remember that, man. You got to remember the average person is below the average American is below the world average of IQ, including countries that are very undernourished that have an average of 65 IQs.
SPEAKER_00That's fucking crazy. Yeah, I need to remember that. I I just made a video um making like um like here's like my honest take on like peptide peptide reviews, what they would be if they were honest. So, like, hey, I just took uh, you know, I spent a year taking GHK copper and here's what I noticed. Absolutely fuck all. I didn't notice anything. My nails got bigger. That's that's pretty much the only thing that I noticed. And then people in the comments, man, holy shit, it's it's horrible. It's like some people saying, like, well, it's because you didn't pair with NAD plus. What the fuck? And then someone else saying, like, it's because you were doing too high of a dose. I was doing like fucking like one milligram a day. And it was like, no, it's it, it's because your gear is bunk. And I'm like, what? I test my shit. What the fuck are you talking about?
SPEAKER_02And how fuck else would it be blue? What the fuck else is blue? What is where are you gonna fake it with food coloring? Yeah, dude. No, it's white. Exact shade of purple that turns into the exact shade of indigo. Fuck off. Yep. Like China's gonna split that much effort in it, it could probably cost them a dollar to make a bottle. So they're gonna spend a million dollars on finding a way to counterfeit something they caught spend a dollar. Fuck off. Fake gear. Fuck off. That's your wife that has fake orgasms. There is no fake gear. It's just the wrong gear. Dude, I love that. I just getting proper. They don't fuck that shit. Like, I'm not saying there aren't really bad peptide companies. I'm not saying there aren't really bad bathtub gear going around, but I've never seen it in years.
SPEAKER_00Dude, every time that I test it, it works every fucking time. That I literally have it right here on my desk, a bunch of fucking like perfume vials. Because I test all everything that goes into my body, I test it. Every time I put something in my body, I do blood work. So like I'm very fucking methodical about this shit. And I know these motherfuckers are not. Like, I know for a fact. So when someone tells me, like, I started taking GHK and then I had like an anxiety attack, and I'm like, what else were you taking, honey? Like, oh yeah, I'm taking like all of these other things, and like, do you control your diet? How is your control of like your sleep and your like your your your immune system? Like, how is everything? What are your histamines at? Where like do you have you ever measured like your glutamate on like an MRT test or something like that? They don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_02So I'm like, Honestly, dude, you convinced me what I'm gonna do is I want you to, I'll pay whatever. You send me an uh a kit, I'll give you my blood or whatever, you can run the genetics on it, and then you can give me advice on things to change without telling me what's wrong with me. And then if I ever have to find out, I'll come ask you. But I don't want to know that I have no chance of growing muscle. Yeah. Like I want to keep trying.
SPEAKER_00Dude, that that DO uh DiO2 uh polymorphism that we've been covering in the channel, there's actually some good, really good evidence because they um on um the ability to basically hold tissue. Basically, like everyone that had uh polymorphism, especially the people who were uh a homozygous, they uh heterozygous, sorry, they were uh just they had significantly less muscle tissue compared to the people who were not. So I like I I found that there are real like genetic limitations, but I'm sure there are. But it's like what good is that gonna do to people? It like it's just gonna tell they're just not gonna train hard anymore. You know, they're not gonna try to like push their limits. It's kind of like when people believe that they have shitty calf genetics, they don't even train them. Right. That's my point.
SPEAKER_02You know, and if you told someone the opposite, if you're like, oh my God, because you're this race, you have a much easier time growing this muscle, yeah, then they train harder and they grow it. Dude, I it doesn't matter if I was lying or not. Not that I would do that, but I'm just like, if just like like in general, they they say Asians have bigger legs. Now I think I know why that is, but anytime I'm talking to an Asian person, like, oh, you're so lucky you've got Asian leg genetics, they're like, What do you mean? It's like, well, Asians have the easiest time growing legs. So then they train legs, they take it more seriously because they're like, I can actually have legs. All I gotta do is try. They believe in themselves. Remember when I talked about magic. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. External locus, a power fixation. It works in reverse. So if you're told that you have an inability to do something when you're a kid, you're literally gonna use the power of your mind to prevent that from ever working out for you. Dude, I'm not if you get told you're ugly, you're gonna act insecure around women. Whereas if you're told you're hot, you're gonna act super confident around women, and the confidence is what makes you hot. And people are like, that's not really magic. I'm like, no, no, no, no. The magic is the underlying concept of how the whole universe works and how we have the power of the mind, that piece of God, that lets us rewrite reality if we choose to use it. But no one else is turning theirs on because they believe in safety and numbers. They're all sheep and they're huddled together and they're using their magic as an anti-magic. Their disbelief in magic makes magic not work on it.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Percent. And on the other side of that, we have the the effect where, like, you you describe how anxious people they would read about the side effects and then they manifest all of those side effects psychosomatically, the nocebo effect, right?
SPEAKER_02It's called the nocebo effect. Yeah. And again, it's the peace of God, the magic. If God wrote all of reality, you can access that and access reality and rewrite it if you actually believe in yourself. But you have to do it to believe in yourself, and you don't believe it because you believe in science. And you think science is a religion, or you think science is the truth, and really it's just a religion telling you not to dig deeper because they want to keep all the power and knowledge for the scientists.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yep. 100%. And it's wild because I I've had clients that have like anxiety about everything. I don't tell, I just tell them, like, hey, we're gonna add this supplement here to take care of your anxiety. Believe me, it's the best thing that was ever done. Like, it takes care of your anxiety. Like, I basically don't even take anxiety medication anymore. I just take this supplement. So this is gonna take care of this. That had generates so much of a better response than if I tell someone like, hey, just FYI, when you start taking these methylated vitamins, you might have some anxiety built up. Like they get the anxiety every fucking time.
SPEAKER_02Every time. I literally said this to another person like, please do not look up the side effects of this medicine because you are using such a low dose. If you get any side effects, it's purely psychosomatic. Yeah. Yep. But it's gonna be real and we're gonna have to stop using it. Yep. Yep, 100%. I literally after using Decad for years, they hear about Decca dick, then they ask their girlfriend who they know is a bitch, and then she starts writing him about his soft dick. So now he has impotence because every time you're about to have sex with her, he's been forming anxiety. He's scared his dick isn't gonna work, so it doesn't work. And that's a perfect example of a nocebo effect. It's the the deca dick is the perfect, and some people are like, it's real. It's like it may be 10% softer, but the fact that you think it's gonna be a hundred percent softer makes it 100% softer. 100%. That's that your anxiety will turn a mountain into a molehill. You're using your magic against yourself rather than for yourself.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02Yep rather than saying I'm gonna get these side effects, say I am not gonna get these side effects. I'm gonna have these rescue agents in place in case I do, but I'm not going to because I'm gonna use a low ass dose. And then when I don't get the side effects, I'm gonna titrate up to a slightly higher low ass dose. And you're gonna keep titrating up slow as fuck, and you're never gonna notice the change because you're like a frog in a pot, you don't notice and you don't jump out. What these stupid fuckers is they take the frog, they throw it in a pot of boiling water, and the frog jumps immediately out.
SPEAKER_00Yep, yep. I like that. You you describe the profile of someone who has the genetics to build muscle, but not the intelligence to survive the pharmacology. And the inverse, where someone who understands everything intellectually, but then doesn't have the discipline to execute. In your coaching experience, which person is the hardest to work with? And and what does it look like when you have someone who has both?
SPEAKER_02All of the extremes are bad. If they got excellent genetics, they're usually a total fuck off when it comes to discipline. Or they're fucking retarded. So even though they work hard, you can't give them directions and they don't fuck them up because they practice they're so dumb that reading is hard.
SPEAKER_00Dude, I I literally have posts that like whenever I'm making a post on X, I put the claim and then I put the study that I got the claim from. And I will still have motherfuckers in my comment section asking, post your sources. We're not obligated to be.
SPEAKER_02It's right fucking there. I remember I had a client say, You should post references on your articles. I'm like, what the fuck do you think are these at the bottom where it says references? Dude, I love it. They're like, well, but those are just hyperlinks. There's no words. I'm like, click the link, fuckhead, and then click the link and it takes them to the study. Now there are your words. Yep. Yep, exactly. Exactly. It's like because I didn't put in proper bibliography format and then put and then make a hyperlink for the bibliography, I just put the links down under references. Yeah. You're too lazy to learn. Fuck off. Yep. Yep. Or I think on that web page the hyperlinks were in red instead of blue because it was a white and red website. And so like they didn't know it was a hyperlink because it's I'm like, shut the fuck up. No one's that stupid. You just you just didn't scroll to the bottom. In fact, you probably didn't read the article. You probably had someone else complain, and then you decide to pass it along to me as if it was your own thought so that you sounded smart and critical. Yep. And thought you could be teaching me something, and thus I'm less valuable. Because it brings you up to my level. Do you do uh Loom videos when you're doing check-ins for people? No, I do um FaceTime on the phone. Okay, okay. I think Loom isn't a back and forth. FaceTime, you can actually communicate with them directly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, for sure. No, it's because I had um but have you ever used Loom before?
SPEAKER_02No, I've never used it. I've had coaches use Loom with me. It's not more basically, I think the reason why you use Loom is so that people know that it's their actual coach doing their check-in, not just uh AI or a ghostwriter.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, some people also like like the personality of it and stuff. They need like a little boost of like, you know, like, oh, my coach like talk to me and stuff like that. For a lot of people, it helps a lot. I prefer written because I get more data out of it and it's just like much more actionable. Like, and coincidentally, the clients that do best are the clients that tell me to do written uh check-ins.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so here's the thing I have a problem with that is uh uh Mina Lee got tried for murder because somebody died, and so her family took the emails to the courts, so he got arrested for murder. So that's why I switched to doing only on the phone. Interesting. And now I only do FaceTime so that they know it. I find that when you do voice only, it's harder to have a pleasant emotional connection with someone. It ends up being more confrontational. Like texting is the most likely to be misunderstood than phone calls. But when I'm looking someone in the eyes and I'm talking to them, we never have conflict.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Yeah, a hundred percent. Now, Todd, you've spent the last like 15 years building a framework for understanding anabolic pharmacology that's way more rigorous than what most endocrinologists are working with. You're using blood work as the primary feedback mechanism, structural biochemistry as the decision framework, and your own patient population as the clinical database. When you look at the space, like what the space looked like when you started versus what it looks like right now, what's one like what's one thing that you wish you could get every coach and every patient to understand before they touch a single compound? Basically, you know what dude wipes are?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. All right, well, they didn't have dude wipes for a long time. They had straw. So having a coach 15 years ago with my education and listening them try to explain to me how the human body worked was like wiping my ass with straw. Yep. And that's basically what the diets were. Like you could wipe your ass with it. It was so bad. It was like five grams of beef. What grade beef? Shut the fuck up. Your doctor's stuff's not real. And then it's like five pounds of chicken. Then the next month is five pounds of fish. Which fish? Tilapia? It's like, I don't know, the shit at Costco, not salmon. So you want a white fish with a low fat content. I don't know what those macro shit is. Just eat five pounds of beef for four weeks, then five pounds of chicken, then five pounds of fish, no carbs, no fat. But there's fat in the beef. I don't know, not added fat. Like that's what it was like to have a coach. They're horrible. Yeah. They're so fucking dumb. So fucking dumb. But you had to have the coach to get the posing lesson. And they won't teach you to pose unless you eat their fucking retarded ass diet.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And you you also made the the point that endocrinologists, urologists, and reproductive endocrinologists, like the people who are literally supposed to be the expert on sex hormones, they know like essentially nothing about how anabolic steroids work.
SPEAKER_02In medical school, you do not learn sex endocrinology. It is one section of the gynosection. Like in physiology, we learn all the endocrinology except for sex hormones. The sex hormones are practically not even covered. Like we don't prescribe them, so you don't have to use them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. No, and I I know that I know that because when you when I heard you saying that, I was like, no way this can be true. So what I did is I used my academic background and I got in touch with a bunch of universities and I asked for the syllabus of their programs for the syllabi. And uh guess what? It wasn't there. It literally wasn't there. These motherfuckers are not learning endocrinology, which is like crazy because now I get doctors in my comments or inside of my uh the optolab engine, and these guys are like learning from me about the thyroid. And I'm like, holy shit, I can't believe this is real.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy, you know. And no, they don't know how to order anything other than a TSH. They're useless. Maybe total T4. Useless, maybe total T4. They don't know what free T3 is, they sure as fuck don't know what reverse T3 is. The only two things that matter. Yep, 100%. And I know people are like, that's not the only thing that matters. I've got this disorder, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like motherfucker, we're talking about bodybuilding coaching. If you're sick, don't be a bodybuilder. Or hire a doctor who's a coach and accept the fact that you're not normal. So when they when we have mass-produced material for the general population, it's not you, you selfish narcissistic fuck, yep, with your special disease. It's the normal people. Yep. Yep. Normal people doing bodybuilding, just all you need to know is is there enough T3? And if not, is it because there's all of it's converted to reverse T3? And why could it be converting to reverse T3? Probably because they're in a calorie. Deficit.
SPEAKER_00Or a lot of stress or gut dysbiosis or cortisol or like the like a billion reasons why that could be the case. But again, doctors are not even checking that shit either because they don't even understand the interactions between like the insulin and the diet.
SPEAKER_02They don't know nutrition. They don't know digestion. Maybe there's a couple gastroenterologists who know a little bit. I literally was on a date with an oncologist and I was asking her about whether she addresses the sugar-growing cancers or not. She's like, oh, I don't talk about nutrition. I leave that to the nutritionist. I'm like, do you really think nutritionists understand neoplasm cell cycle regeneration? And they're like, no. I'm like, so why would you let them control the patient education on anything?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Then the nutritional requirements for a tumor are way different than the traditional requirements for a human. So if you subtract the nutrients that the tumor grows on from the human's diet, the tumor grows slower. Well, that's not how you treat. I'm like, but you can keep giving them chemo and radiation. You just take away the sugar so the tumor doesn't grow as fast. I don't see how I'm not stepping on your toes here. I'm just saying, like, there's you've got these, you're slamming on the brake. You ever think about taking your foot off the gas?
SPEAKER_00Yep. I like that.
SPEAKER_02I like that stuff. They're so cheapish that they have to think inside the boxes they were told they're allowed to think in. I don't do nutrition. That's a nutritionist job. I'm like, that fucking fat bitch over there has put a brick on the gas puddle and you're trying to slam on the brakes. Take the fucking brick off the gas puddle and tell the fat bitch she doesn't have any right being a nutritionist until she loses some fucking weight.
SPEAKER_00I love it. Todd, let's wrap this up with some questions from Instagram. Okay, let's do a rapid fire. Rapid fire here. Your top three healthy fat burners. Man, they want the cake and they want to eat it. They want to keep it. They want it all. Top three healthy fat burners.
SPEAKER_02Sex. Um, because that's a lot of exercise. And if you hate cardio, you'll like pussy. So it's like you can do a lot of that, but you want serious. I would say Wrath of the Valkyrie by Valhalla Labs. So that would be a good one. And then probably three if you're deficient, and clen butrol if you're not a pussy. Because unless you abuse the shit out of that, it ain't binding to your beta 1 receptors. So this whole concept, like, it's cardiotoxic. Like, what the fuck are you talking about? Our adrenal gland releases adrenaline. Adrenaline binds to your heart. This is a synthetic adrenaline that only binds to your lungs and your fat cells. How the fuck is that gonna hurt your heart more than the adrenaline you were already using? Did you have a monster earlier? Didn't you also have chocolate earlier? Didn't you also have what's another thing with caffeine? Coffee? Like you're fucking slamming yourself with stimulants, jacking your adrenaline through your heart, but you think the cleanse the problem, not the ghost energy drinks? Fucking idiot.
SPEAKER_00All right, let's go to the next one. This one is from one of my clients, so be nice. Do you prefer keeping growth hormone dose consistent across a growth, maintenance, and cut fat loss phase, or adjusting it based on the phase IGF one, fasting glucose, and how high the person can tolerate? Also, what's the highest dose that you can do?
SPEAKER_02Wait, wait, wait, we gotta back up. I can't memorize that. Okay. So we'll start from the top again.
SPEAKER_00Do you keep the do you keep the doses consistent across like every phase, or are you adjusting it based off of like the phase IGF one levels, fasting glucose, and also how how much the person can tolerate? What are we talking about?
SPEAKER_02Growth hormone. Growth hormone. Do I adjust it based off of feedback? No. Yeah, based on the phase, yeah, and everything you just keep it the same? No. Once we find out where they're at in the off season, we leave it there. And if they want to use it for additional fat loss and just go higher when we cut by putting in the morning or pre-card or pre-weights or whatever, you can do that. Yeah. And then we're not going to be adding insulin and prep because you should be insulin sensitive. Yeah. It's not like the GH thing causes insulin resistance in the absence of carbohydrates. You know, so low carbs is not a problem if with GH insulin sensitivity. Yeah. And then right before the show, if they're looking wet, we'll reduce the the GH to pull off some unnecessary water if it's holding water. But not all GH holds water. Just the shitty brands or seristem, which for some reason people love seristem. The reason why people love cirristem is they're insecure about the size of their muscles. So they use seristem and they get a bunch of water weight, which fills their muscles up, and now they've got bigger muscles. So they think seroustim is better than other brands of GH that have manitol in it, which is a diuretic, which prevents the water from being a big issue. So they're going for the edema that is the side effect of the GH. And so they're buying the most expensive brand of GH possible because it's lacking a key ingredient to mitigate the side effect. So they're literally paying more for the side effect. But they like, I look better. I'm like, you look better because you don't like what you look like. And now you look bigger because you think you're too small.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02If you thought you were fat and you took GH and gained 10 pounds of water weight, you wouldn't like it. Yeah. I bet you if you give insecure women serostim, they're gonna like, this looks like shit. Yeah. I'm bloated. I'm bloated. You know, it's like not everyone wants to look like Grimace. Okay, let's go to this one.
SPEAKER_00This this is a big one. Best way to use or escalate Retta, Clen, tren, and orals in the mid and to end of prep.
SPEAKER_02Retta, clen, trend, and orals. Okay, what I would do is start Retta when appetite becomes a problem at like one milligram twice a week, as we discussed earlier, in concordance with their leg and their high carb day. Then I would introduce probably I'll talk about me just so it's a little less potentially harmful. I would introduce Tren at a 10 milligrams a day and probably titrate up 10 milligrams every three weeks to a month. And then I would introduce wind straw probably two weeks out at 25 milligrams a day, and then probably go up to 50 milligrams the last four or five days. If I was pulling all injections so I didn't have any lumps, I probably would double up the wind straw for that reason.
SPEAKER_00Cool. Um, this one, let's fucking beat this horse. It's dead dead, it's been resurrected, but it's coming back, man. Daily HCG dosing alongside daily TRT dosing to help with testicular stimulation. Is it logical?
SPEAKER_02It's logical if your girlfriend likes big nut loads. But other than big loads, there's no real point to HCG. It's not really gonna protect your sperm. Your sperm's regulated by FSH and the Chitoli cells. The F HCG stimulates the LADIC cells to produce testosterone. And somehow it ends up causing your prostate to produce more semen.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I see people using it to try to like maintain fertility, and I'm like, bro, you're not losing fertility. If testosterone could be used as a as an anti- you know, like uh it's an anti-fertility protocol, it would be used as an uh as a birth control pill for guys, but it's not because it doesn't work that way. Best off-season compounds, or if you had to choose between NPP and EQ for an off-season stack.
SPEAKER_02They're completely different classes, and they do almost opposing things. So I I mean it's like, would you rather have a shoe or a knife? It's like I'd rather have two shoes. Like this is a terrible question. So I'd have a shoe or a knife. I was like, it's like I'd rather have two shoes.
SPEAKER_00So what's your what's your favorite off-season compound? Because they're not the same as uh as a prep compound you're trying to mask.
SPEAKER_02Apparently, I think they are the same, really. So I like different degrees of the same drugs.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So it's gonna be test, something to control. If I'm taking the test up super high, I need something to control estrogen. So there's a variable amount of primo that might be used or EQ. So and then masteron is just a filler to add in total anabolic load without any extra effects. And then the trend is almost useless for anabolism, but it has so many extra benefits to put in a little bit for the other effects. You know, and then so I would say if it was my favorite off-season compound, I guess testosterone, because you have to have it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00100%. Now, this one here asks, no bullshit advice. What's the most important supplements for nattties? Testosterone. Well, I'm trying to understand why they are natty. Okay, this person here is natty because they really want to stay natty. They pride themselves in the fact that they are natty and they are not going to take hormones and they like looking natty, they prefer the natty look over the enhanced look. It was a former client of mine.
SPEAKER_02That's like the person who turns down vampirism in the movie. What is that? That's my point. It never happened. When in the movie has someone offered someone the eternal night and they said no.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like every fucking time someone's truly looking at immortality and superhuman power and attraction, they take it. I think the per reason why this person's natty, in the end, after I've talked to these people for the last 20 years, it's always because they're scared. 100%. I was gonna say sphere. It's always they've coped and I'm better than you because I work twice as hard to get half as far.
SPEAKER_00And when people say, Oh, you look so much better, natty. Shut the fuck up. Have you seen the way bitches look at a guy who's enhanced, bro? That shit is not normal. They love it.
SPEAKER_02Maybe it's your girlfriend's overweight and insecure, she doesn't want you to look good because you might cheat on her. But good-looking girls definitely prefer good-looking eyes. And I'm not saying you can't be good-looking and be natty, but you're not gonna look better than if you were to use male hormones to make yourself more masculine because masculinity is sexually attractive to the opposite sex.
SPEAKER_00Correct.
SPEAKER_02Now, the opposite, and I don't care what they say, it's about whether their vagina reacts to you on site or not, whether they decide you fit their political aspirations. You can see in the eyes. I don't give a fuck what they say. I care about their body's reaction. And it's like Because if they hate you because you're a man and they hate men, then they're not ever going to sleep with you, regardless of how sexy you are or not. Yep. Yeah. Have you seen that video about it? When I talk to these natural people, it's always that they're scared. And once you really show them with logic, not numbers, because there is no numbers to prove it, but logic. If you have a low amount of a hormone, replacing that hormone to normal can't be harmful. Yeah, but these people, they see 400 on a lab test and they say, Oh, it's not bad. I'm saying that those people, they have no framework. Yeah. And if they talk to me, all their bullshit that they use to justify their fear and hide from their own fear falls away because all of their false beliefs, I melt. And that in the end, given a very short amount of time, anyone who's natural will realize that there's no actual benefit to competing in bodybuilding and not using drugs to preserve your normal hormone functions when you're in an extremely hard contest prep. When you're beating yourself to death and starving yourself like you're a concentration camp war criminal, not taking thyroid and testosterone medication to keep your body alive while you're doing it is just fucking stupid. It's way less healthy, it's way more dangerous to compete natural than to at least replace the hormones you're missing.
SPEAKER_00I love it. I like that.
SPEAKER_02And so when people say bodybuilding is a dangerous sport, it's not healthy. That's because people are dumb. If you if you treat bodybuilding like it's an illness and you just treat the patient like this is a course of illness, like they're fighting cancer, they're doing a bodybuilding show, and this is how it goes. And you just approach it like eventually, even with carb cycling, their thyroid will quit. So you have to have the liquid T3 that's diluted enough to where you can actually add six or five milligrams at a time to just keep them in the threes, not the fours, not the fives. We're not hyper dosing them with T3, or like a lot of coaches, like 25 micrograms is a normal hormone replacement dose. So you start your clients at 25 micrograms a day daily. That's insane. I can do a whole prep on six micrograms twice a day. That's wild. I don't ever need 25 micrograms. If I took 25 fucking micrograms, I'd have like a 13 T3. What the fuck? That's crazy. I would lose, I once had a coach that had me on 75. I lost so much muscle. Really? Yeah. Now that I do blood work and I test dose based on blood work, not based off of rule of thumb of ancient wisdom of the brilliant minds of 70s bodybuilding or whatever the fuck they came up with. 75 fucking T3 a day. And I know no one in the 70s did T3. I'm just like, where the fuck does anyone come up with the idea that more T3 is better? It's insane.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Now, when is what is the role of T2 in RAS and when the fuck are they dropping it in Valhalla Labs? Thanks.
SPEAKER_02Well, RATHS been on Valhalla Labs' website for uh the whole time. Okay, does it still have T2 in there? Yeah. I increased it up to 300 m milligrams or micrograms, actually. What what's the role of T2 there? So the teeth 2 is supposed to be like a mitochondrial and coupler. Like um like DNP. No, people say SLU does that, but then they're saying like it's uh estrogen orphan receptor modulated.
SPEAKER_00SLU does the opposite of that.
SPEAKER_02And it's like, I was like, what? Like I don't know. So like everyone's got this mythology about SLU. Then I find out the dosing is supposed to be in injections. So everyone's taking 250 micrograms orally, and it's not, and I I took up to a thousand micrograms or 1500. I never did shit. I didn't even notice I was on the stuff.
SPEAKER_00It was like I noticed like at 100 milligrams a day, and then like the the effect was pretty similar to 500 milligrams a day. So I went all over to 500. But you just get like hot. Are you talking about 500 milligrams? Milligrams, actual milligrams.
SPEAKER_02I was doing one milligram a day and I didn't notice shit. So I basically I switched to the injectable. I haven't used it yet, but now I have injectable SLU. So like at least I'll be able to use the dosing that was used in the studies. Like, why people would confabulate injectable doses with oral doses is beyond me. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, best off season cycle for women that won't cause virilization, or at least how to limit that.
SPEAKER_02I would do five point five milligrams of test per day as an HRT base. Don't let your test get above 100. Don't let your DHG get above 20. And then I guess don't let me rephrase that. Just don't let your DHT get above 20. In theory, Nandrolones might be effective, but then they're gonna have stimulation of estrogen alpha. So bigger boobs, more uterine shenanigans. So they might get a fibroid or irregular bleeding, and it's just not worth it to fuck with their estrogen pathways, especially if they're competitor, just to avoid something else. So the non-viralization, so I think the better way of going about it, one milligram of anivar to two milligrams of anivar pre-training seems to work perfect. Sublingual, oral, one to two milligrams of anivar pre-training seems to be perfect. I know women use five oral, and I don't know if five's toxic, but I know for sure I think long-term use of 10 milligrams is gonna be toxic. And with your diet and training is perfect and you're really training hard, not by girls' standards, but training hard by a professional bodybuilder's standards, then one or two milligrams will give you all the anabolism you need and no virtualization.
SPEAKER_00Guys, that right there is why I do this. You know, I I could sit here and try to summarize everything that just happened in this conversation, but honestly, if you were listening, you already know you felt it. Not a normal conversation. That was just two people who have spent years going deeper than the surface on this stuff, just finally getting to talk to each other about, you know, without having to slow down and explain the basics. And I hope that you felt like what it was like being in this room where the ceiling is just a little bit higher. So, Todd, he's the real deal, man, not the internet real deal, not he just sounds smart on YouTube real deal, the actual thing, man. He's a man who has built his entire approach on evidence, on blood work, on structural biochemistry, on 15 years of watching what happens in real human beings, and who has the competitive career and the medical credentials to back every single word of it. If you're not following him, if you're not watching his content, if you're, you know, you're not taking this seriously. You're just leaving something very significant on the table. So go find him, go down the rabbit hole. You will not regret it. And to you, the person who listened to this entire episode, thank you. Genuinely, you are exactly who this show is built for. You are not here for the fluff, you are not here for motivational crap. You are here because you want to understand things at a level that most people never will. And this is exactly the kind of person I want sitting across from this microphone every single Friday because that's what we do here. Every single fucking Friday is a new episode, a new conversation, a new person who has built something real and has something worth hearing. And I promise you, the lineup we have coming up is going to keep delivering at this level or higher. You do not want to miss what's coming next. So subscribe, share this with one person who you think is ready for it, and then share with one who's not ready for it, just so you can sound a little bit smarter. And come back next Friday. I am Nathan. This is the Opticast. Peace out, guys.
