All right, so today we are getting into not only the the topic of how we got picked up so quickly, but we're talking about this event that just happened a couple of weeks ago, put on by Lux at a hotel called the Adeline. Remember the Adeline?

I do, and Lux is one of our favorite partners. We've been to a couple of their events. Um, great party hosts, great people. They always, well, actually, I have to say this event, and just kind of stepping back, had some of the most sexy people I've seen at an event. Did you agree?

I knew all of us were looking around going, damn, there's a lot of sexy people.

Right? Yeah. From the second we walked into the pool, and it was just like, look at all these people.

So it was a full hotel takeover by Lux at the Scottsdale, Arizona Hotel Adeline, and it felt like a gigantic swinger reunion. Right? Everybody was so happy. We get there, and there's hugs, there's kisses, booty squeezing, with consent, of course. And of course, social reconnecting, honestly. Like we haven't seen people in a long, long time.

Oh my gosh, can we talk about the people we didn't know were going to be there? And all of a sudden we walk in. Okay, good.

Lots of familiar faces. They were from like Arizona, they were from Colorado, where else? California.

Couple from California. Um was there somebody from Texas? No, I think it was Colorado, California. Yeah, that was a big faction. Um, yeah, and I just called it Colorado.

Right. Exactly. And so the people that we ran into, you and I talked about this. Is there people that you know, there's people you want to know, and maybe a couple you'd rather avoid. True or false to that one.

I think so. I I don't know that there were as many people that we wanted to avoid this trip, which was nice. I we had we had walked wandered in thinking, okay, yeah, is there going to be more? And actually, I don't think there was many. If any.

Yeah, it's a typically at like a small percentage. But for some reason, there's sometimes you, you know, there's pe there's just couples that you're like, you know what, I'm good, I'm done.

Oh god, you're so right with that one. Um yeah, we but we did reconnect with our the second couple we've ever played with after after losing touch with them, kind of. You know what I mean?

Yes, our second couple. That was really cool. We so they were our second couple, we were their first couple, and it was nice to kind of talk through that experience and what they've been up to since. And I mean, such a lovely couple.

They were, and I remember they they had a few little bumps in the road when it first started out in this lifestyle, just like everybody, right? Like everybody, and then they they came back and they were fucking a hit, I think.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not crapping on the hotel Adeline, but it is, I mean, all intents and purposes, I think that as a lifestyle takeover, it might have been one of the more perfect venues for a local hotel takeover.

Look, and when I I think about it, when you think of Scottsdale, you think of these high-end resorts with like golf courses, right? That have six, seven hundred rooms. That's not what you're looking for at a lifetime or a lifestyle takeover. This was perfect. It kept people in specific spaces, right? So, what I mean by that is when you have such a large resort, people are not gonna congregate in the same area. And you want everybody together because you want them meeting and mixing and mingling. That's what you go to these things for. So if it was larger, it could be a problem. I think it was kind of the perfect venue. Was it, you know, a five-star resort with spas in your room, like desire? No. But at the same time, perfect venue, perfect setup, um, not overwhelmingly expensive. It was a nice weekend getaway. I mean, you can anybody can technically do it if they need to.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. It's not a five-star. It's not, it's not a desire. So, but I will say that it is, I think on the website you would look at it, it's a four-star, right? It's clean. Yeah. It the rooms, the room that we had had two beds, and that was by design because I know that you're a squirter, and if we brought somebody back, then we got to put them on. You you squirter folk all need to be on that.

Yes, the one thing I will say about that is I wish it was two queens versus like two full beds. Yeah, it was they they're a little smuggling.

I don't mind it. I like snuggling. We love to snuggle. We do. And the rooms were nice and cool. I think the air conditioning were fine, the bathrooms were good, like all those type of things. The alcohol was expensive for me.

You know what I'm saying? I'm not a cheap guy. I will do that, but it's expensive, and I think that's where they kind of make their money from it. And I don't necessarily blame a business for trying to make some money, but man, we spent one day. We spent like 250 bucks sitting at the bar standing at the bar.

I thought I think a pro tip that I would tell everybody again, and we probably should do a better job of this, you and I, and I think you did. I just did a bad job of actually doing was bringing a cooler and using it. We had plenty of booze. We had some little snacks in there as well. They don't have a microwave, but anyway, that's neither here nor there. But it's just enough to kind of like get you over the edge and yeah, bring sandwiches for a midday snacks.

Bring little things. We did take our own curig and we had friends like, oh, you brought your coffee maker. We're getting somewhat smart. Yeah, exactly. Just little things to prep your room, um, keep costs down, right? And every little bit helps. It's not even cost two, but we like having our coffee in the morning, and what hotels give you for a general coffee is not enough for us. Exactly. Okay. Anyways, just think about the things that you like to have and and organize to that.

And you're driving there, bring whatever you can to it. We would stay there again. Would you not agree?

I would, yeah. If there was another takeover, I would.

And I did give them feedback, um, but it was more towards Marriott. So I'm a Marriott Rewards um member. So of course they asked feedback, and I was just like, Yeah, your your alcohol's way too expensive.

The first night was speakeasy, which wasn't actually held in the speakeasy, but no, but they do have a speakeasy, which was really cool. Very cool. Yes, I like that one as well. We didn't realize that until like the second or third actually the third day.

Well, we were told the speakeasy was not great. So everybody was like, Yeah, don't go in there. And then when we went in there, we're like, this is great. What are we we've been missing out?

So very good point, Brittany Bitch, because I want to say one thing about folks that tell you a review about something, it's always going to be 50-50. I don't care if it's a lifestyle in the vanilla world or whatever it is. You like a restaurant, oh yeah, it's okay. Whatever, just make your own point to it and just figure it out on your own. That's what we do now.

Well, and let's think about this. Even with the girls here last episode, right? They we were talking about how you can share experiences amongst play sessions, right? But it may not be the same. So take that with a grain of salt just as much as anything else. You may enjoy something, but somebody else didn't. What you enjoy may not equate to what somebody else enjoys. So just go try it, see what happens, and go from there.

100%, Britney Bitch. So we had glow party. Yes, and then we had Candyland, which I thought was one of the first times we've ever done that one. So which one was your which theme was your favorite?

Speakeasy is my favorite. Was it? So yeah, glow, I will say, is every, is at every event, which there is nothing wrong with glow. I have a certain set of things I like, and I do love seeing the vibrant colors, but you know, it's it's kind of expected. So speakeasy was my hands-down favorite. We did that a few years back, first time at Scarlet Ranch, and I had this really cute, like velvety teddy that I enjoy wearing with, of course, pearls. And before I used to have like these gloves, but I didn't wear those this time. I just kind of went with it.

Well, I thought you looked amazing. You actually dressed me up very, very well with my outfit, and it was just a simple, you know, like a vest with a little like you know, 1920s speakeasy hat.

Yes. The what do they call that? Um I don't know. Don't even ask me. I call it a 20s hat. I mean, I know Bruce Arians kind of wore a hat like that in football, right?

So kind of that hat, but and then we had the glow party, which we're we talked about here, we're gonna talk about here for just a quick second. And then we had Candyland.

Well, we'll talk about Candyland in a second, but I do I mean, you pretty much though, your favorite was what? The speakeasy. Okay, cool. And I think speakeasy was probably my favorite too. Okay. Glow Party is always there. I just I don't do the paint, I don't do the the deal. I mean, it just gets all over the place, is what drives me absolutely baddie. I'm gonna take a word out of you that drives me baddie.

So you like the speakeasy, and I'm gonna agree with you on that one because I think I think you really, though overall, I think you really crushed the outfits because I know you put these all together, and I'm very grateful. Except what happened at Candyland? Can you describe that for me, please?

I don't even know. So I had well, your shirt was amazing, first off. So you've got to give me credit there. Yes. I ordered you this shirt that was like penises, but it had cupcakes and candy and kind of melded into all of the different penises. So you were the hit. I ordered myself like this, it was supposed to be a gingerbread like lingerie piece, and I put it on, and it was just so awkward. I I even just left it at the hotel. I was like, I don't even know what to do with this. Yeah, I put it on, you were like, What the hell is that? So it just didn't work.

I'll dive into it because you put on first it was like a bodysuit, it was almost like a one-piece bikini, right? I mean it had little candies.

It was a one-piece swimsuit, yeah.

I'm sorry, yeah, one piece swimsuit. And then you it had little candies around the neck, maybe, and wherever else. And then you had to slide on two stockings for your legs. Yes, pulled them up, and they were about two to three inches from said bodysuit or full whatever bikini.

Yeah. And then you did the same thing with the arms. You pulled them on. So again, it was like showing two, three inches of your skin, and then it was just odd. It was almost skin color, but you have the creamy white skin.

So here's what I would say with outfits. Yes, it like in the picture, it's cute, but try them on before you actually go to the events and decide is this something you want to do? This particular outfit I didn't try on. I was like, oh, whatever, I'll just go. Now, mind you, I also just went with it. So that night I was just like, I'm just gonna go in my you know, cute slinky dress and and just wear like candy on me. So it worked out, but it wasn't what I was expecting, and I just rolled with it.
