“Insufficient funds” is a brutal message when it shows up on a receipt, but it’s even worse when it becomes the background noise of your life. If you’ve been staring at a God-given idea while your budget says “be realistic,” we made this one for you. We’re naming the tension so many faith-driven entrepreneurs live with: the calling feels clear, the obedience is real, and yet provision feels one month behind.

We walk through a Creator’s Economy mindset that shifts the question from “What’s wrong with me?” to “Am I withdrawing from the right account?” Using a practical analogy from economics, we talk about God as the source of supply and why visible provision can flow from invisible creation. Then we anchor it in identity: being made in the image of a Creator means you’re designed to create value, solutions, and wealth-producing outcomes, not just consume, cope, or grind.

You’ll get three actionable “withdrawals” you can start making right away: recognize what’s already been deposited in you, stop treating your gift like a hobby and start treating it like an asset, and go to God before you run to strategy. I also give you a simple 20-minute assignment to inventory what you do naturally and identify who actually needs it, because clarity turns calling into an offer, and an offer turns purpose into provision.

If this hits home, subscribe to Our Creator’s Economy, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more creators can find the way to the right account.

The Gap Is Access, Not Failure

SPEAKER_00

Picture this. You're sitting across from someone in a coffee shop. A woman in her mid 30s, maybe early 40s, sharp, put together. The kind of person who walks into a room and you can tell she's been through something, but it didn't break her, it sharpened her. And she leans across the table and says something you weren't expecting at all. She says, I know what I'm supposed to do. I can feel it. I've known it for years. But I look at my bank account and I look at what God is asking me to build, and I genuinely cannot see how those two things go together. I'm doing everything right. I'm faithful. I'm showing up. And I still feel like I'm always one month behind. Maybe you know her. Maybe you are her. Maybe you sat in the exact same seat, not in a coffee shop, but in your car before walking into a job that doesn't fit you at all. Or at your kitchen table at 11 o'clock at night when the kids are in bed, the laptop is open, and you're staring at a business idea you believe in and a budget that says you can't afford to believe in it. Here's what I would say to her. Here's what I want to say to you right now before we go any further. The problem is not your faith. The problem isn't the calling or your gifts. The problem is not your timing or the market or even a lack of connections. The problem is that nobody showed you where the withdrawal account is. And that, my friend, changes today. Welcome to Our Creator's Economy, the podcast for people who are done playing small and ready to build something that actually looks like what God put in them. I'm Camille Blanchard, author, entrepreneur, and someone who has been exactly where you are. This show is about one thing: learning to live and build inside the economy that God designed, where your gifts, creativity, and your God-given ideas don't just produce purpose, they produce provision for you, your family, and everybody in your sphere. If this is your first episode, welcome. I'm so glad you found us. And if you've been here, welcome back. Let's get into it, y'all. Okay, here's what I want you to know before we go a single step further into this episode. By the time this conversation is over, I want three things to be true for you. Number one, I want you to understand, not just in your head, but in your gut, that you are not behind. You are not too late. And the gap between where you are and where you're going to is not a gap in your ability, it's a gap in your access. Number two, I want you to have a completely different framework for thinking about who you are and what you carry. We're going to talk about God's economics and you as the Federal Reserve in the same conversation. And by the end, that's going to make perfect sense. And number three, I want you to leave with one specific thing to do. Not just feel inspired, not just pumped up for 48 hours and then back into normal. Something real that you can do this week that starts closing the gap between your dream and your vision and the reality that you're walking in. Does that sound good? Let's go. I

The Insufficient Funds Feeling

SPEAKER_00

want to start with an image. And I need you to really sit inside this one. You walk up to an ATM. It's an ordinary day. Maybe you're running an ordinary errand. You slide your card in, you punch your code, and then you ask for what you need. It's nothing outrageous, just to handle what's in front of you for the day. And the machine prints out a little slip of paper with two words on it. Insufficient funds. Whew. You know that feeling. That tight chest, sinking stomach. Oh no, feeling. And I'm not just talking about the literal ATM experience. Though some of you have been there. I know I've been there. Some of you might be there right now. And I see you, and there is absolutely no shame in this room. But I'm talking about carrying that feeling into your life, into your calling, into the thing God put in your heart to build. So many gifted, called, spirit-filled people walk around with that same tight chest feeling about their creative life, their business, their vision. They look at what they're supposed to do and they look at what they have to do. And the machine keeps printing the same receipt. So many gifted, called, spirit-filled people walking around with that same tight-chest feeling about their creative life, their business, their vision. They look at what they feel like they're supposed to do, and they look at what they have to do it with. And the machine keeps printing the same receipt. Insufficient. Not enough. The balance is not there. But here's the question I want to ask you. And I want you to sit with this. I mean, like, really sit with it. What if the problem isn't the balance? What if the problem is the machine? Because here's what I've seen over and over again in my own life and in the lives of entrepreneurs and creators and kingdom builders that I know personally. Most gifted people are making withdrawals from the wrong account their entire life. We're pulling from our own limited energy, our own track record of success, our own network that we've built over time, our own natural ability, the talent and the hustle, the grind. And yeah, that account runs out fast because that account has a ceiling. It was never designed to fund the size of what God has put in you. You've been standing at the wrong machine. So let me show you the right one.

God As Source, Not ATM

SPEAKER_00

God, and I need you to hear this, not as a religious statement, but as an economic one. God is not your ATM. God is like the Federal Reserve. Now, stay with me for a second because that analogy goes a little deeper than you might think. And I'm definitely not limiting God to the function of the Federal Reserve. But roll with me a little bit here. The Federal Reserve doesn't wait around hoping that somebody deposits money into the system. It doesn't check the balance and crosses fingers. The Federal Reserve creates the money. It's the source. When the economy needs more liquidity, more supply, more resources, the Fed doesn't borrow it from someone else. It generates it from a position of authority and creative power. And here's the thing that doesn't get talked about enough. The Fed doesn't even print the physical bills, it creates the digital money, something you can't even see or hold. And that unseen creative act is what actually causes money physically to enter into circulation down the stream. The visible provision flows from the invisible creation. I got to say that again. The visible provision flows from the invisible creation process. Now, some of you are going to sit in that for a minute and just your mind is going to be blown. And I hope that it is. Because if you've been asking God why hasn't the visible shown up yet, why the provision doesn't seem to be matching the promise, I want you to consider that the creation might already be happening in the unseen realm. And the circulation in your personal economy is coming, maybe even sooner than you think. But here's where it gets really good: the part that changes the whole game. You're not just a person at the ATM, and God is not just the Federal Reserve in this story. You are the Federal Reserve of your sphere. Now let me show you why I believe that. Genesis chapter 1, verse 1, the first sentence of the entire Bible, not verse 5, not chapter 2, it's the very first sentence. In the beginning, God created. Before we know he's merciful, powerful, faithful, just. The very first thing that we learn about who God is is that he creates. Creation is not something that God does. Creation is something that God manifests out of his very being, out of his essence. It is the foundational expression of his nature. And then in Genesis chapter 1, verse 26, he says something extraordinary. He says, Let us make man in our own image, in our likeness, in the image of a creator, after the likeness of the one who's defining act, whose first act is creation. That's who you're created in the image of. Incredible. So before you were a parent or a spouse, before you were a professional or a business owner, before you were any label that the world ever put on you, this is what you were. You were made in the image of the creator. And if the primary attribute of your creator is creating, what does that tell you about what you were designed to do? You're designed to create, not just to exist, not just to survive, not just to consume, not just to scroll through other people's highlight reels, wondering when it's going to be your turn. You are designed to create, to make things that weren't there before, to bring solutions into existence that the world has been waiting for to generate value where there wasn't any before you arrived on the scene. You're not just a consumer of the world's resources. You are a creator of them. The idea that you've been sitting on, that's a deposit. The skill that you've been undervaluing, that's a deposit. The solution that you see that nobody else in the room seems to see, that is a deposit. It's sitting in an account waiting for you to stop treating yourself like someone who needs to borrow and start operating like someone who is designed to create. Okay, I have to stop here for a second because I know some of you are thinking right now. You're thinking, this sounds amazing. I feel great. And also, I have a mortgage payment due on the 5th and a business idea that hasn't made a single dollar yet. So what exactly are we saying here? Valid? That's completely valid. And listen, I'm not in the strictly name it and claim it, speak it and manifest it, and ignore your bank account statement land, okay? Not this podcast, not this girl. We are going to get real and practical and specific here because faith without works is dead and inspiration without application is just a good feeling that fades by Thursday. So let me get practical. When I say you're the Federal Reserve, you're like the Federal Reserve, it's a great concept. But what does it actually look like on Tuesday morning when the coffee is bad and the client didn't pay? Here's what it looks like: three things, and I want you to write these down. Withdrawal

Three Withdrawals That Change Everything

SPEAKER_00

one, recognize what's actually in your account. Your deposit is not just a business idea. Your deposit is not just the skill or the passion or the thing that you're good at. It's actually everything that God put in you. The whole portfolio of your life, the whole essence of who you are as a person, as a being. It's the way your mind sees problems that other people walk right past. It's the thing that you've been doing since you were 12 years old that you still do, and it doesn't even feel like work. It's the insight that you have into a specific group of people, maybe their pain, their need, their unmet desire, that thing that you understand almost instinctively. It's the experience that you went through that you thought was gonna break you. But it actually is that exact credential that you need for the exact people that you were called to serve. So I mean all of it. That's the account. And here's what I want you to know about that deposit. It wasn't generic, it wasn't random, it was tailor-made for the moment in history that you're living in right now. I love this statement. The Bible says, for such a time as this, let's face it, you were not living in your grandmother's generation. Not 20 years from now when you feel ready. You are living in the here and now, and your gift is on assignment today. Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 18 says, God gives you the ability to produce wealth. Not the wealth itself, but the ability to produce the wealth. See, that's the creative capacity that you carry. That's the gift, that's the insight that he loads the ability into you. And then the economy is designed to reward you for deploying the asset that was placed inside of you. You see, the deposit is already in the account. The question is whether or not you know that it's there. Withdrawal number two. Stop treating your gift like a hobby and start treating it like an asset. Okay, this one might sting a little, but I say it with love. And I mean full of love, but also full of honesty. How many of us have a gift, a real, legitimate, world-changing gift that we treat like a Saturday afternoon thing? We pull it out only when life slows down, we work on it when we only when we feel inspired, we think about it constantly, but invest in it inconsistently. And then we wonder why it's not producing. Here's the thing about assets: assets get developed. Assets get deployed, they get stewarded with intention and discipline because you know that there's a return on the investment. You don't treat a piece of valuable real estate like a hobby. You don't develop it when the mood strikes. You build a plan and you work the plan. Proverbs chapter 18 and 16 says, a man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. Not a man's gift eventually one day after you get serious about it. His gift, operating and deployed, makes room, opens doors, and creates opportunity. But it has to be in use. The gift that stays in your head generates zero value in the marketplace. The gift that stays in your journal blesses nobody. The gift that you keep saying you'll get serious about next season, that gift is not making room for anything except regret. Now, I know that's direct, but this is a friendship conversation, and friends tell each other the truth. And the truth is your gift is too important to keep treating it like a side thought. I'm going to say something else about your gift as well. When you recognize the value of your gift and you treat it like the asset that it is, you'll stop giving it away for free. I have so many people that I've talked to, so many of my friends that I love and care about deeply that have amazing gifts, amazing deposits from the Lord. But part of the reason that they can't grow their business, they can't grow their bank account, they can't grow their legacy is because they're constantly giving away that which is infinitely valuable. That which is infinitely valuable, they are giving it away for free. If your business is giving away everything for free, you have nothing but a very expensive hobby. Now,

Go To God Before Strategy

SPEAKER_00

withdrawal number three is go to the source before you go to the strategy. This is the one that separates our creator's economy from every other business framework that you've ever encountered. And I want to make sure that you don't gloss over this because it sounds familiar. A lot of business coaches will tell you to go to the market, go to the data, go to your ideal customer avatar, get competitive analysis. And listen, that's not wrong. I'm a coach, I've told people that as well. But we're going to talk about all of that on the show. But in the creator's economy, the first withdrawal, the one that makes all the other withdrawals possible, is the one that you make directly from God. I have a friend. In many respects, she has imparted so much spiritual wisdom in my life. She spends so much time in fellowship and communion with God. I mean, decades upon decades. And I remember one time she told me that she asked God a question and and it stopped me in my tracks. The question was, what is heaven's economy? And the answer she received from the Lord was four words. Total dependence upon God. That's it. That's heaven's economy. It's not the cleverest strategy from a world's perspective. It's not the most leveraged funnel. It's not the best offer. It's total dependence upon God. And when I first heard this, I'll be honest, like I was a little surprised by the answer, but also inspired by the answer. Listen, I'm a person that likes a plan. I love a framework. I like to have steps. And total dependence upon God sounds like the opposite of a plan or a framework or some steps. But here's what I've come to understand total dependence is not the absence of strategy. It's actually the source of it. When you're fully dependent on God, you're not pulling from a finite account, you're drawing from his unlimited account. And the ideas and the strategies and the solutions that come from that place are not average. They're supernatural. They're beyond our natural ability to come up with and sometimes even to understand. There's not any algorithm that can generate the kind of ideas that come directly from the source of God. There are specific in this moment, this person, this calling downloads that we were prepared to receive before we were even born. Strategy that's built upon that foundation is unstoppable. But the strategy that you try to build without it is just really expensive noise. So go to the source before you run to the strategy. Every single time, the download that you get from God is going to outperform everything else. I want

The Unlimited Account With Your Name

SPEAKER_00

to give you one more image before we land this plane. And this one I need you to actually see. Imagine there's a bank, not a bank with impressive reserves, a bank with a really high credit limit, an unlimited bank, bottomless, no maximum, no sorry, we can't process this transaction at this time, and no overdraft fees. I mean, I would love to have that kind of bank account, wouldn't you? And imagine that before you were born, before you ever had a resume or a failure or a fear or a doubt or a success or a win, someone walked into that bank and opened an account in your name. And they made a deposit, and it was a big deposit, massive, custom deposit of gifts and ability and creative capacity and calling and insight and vision. And then they handed you the checkbook and the ATM card and said, draw from this anytime for anything that the assignment requires. That bank is God. That account is yours. And that deposit has been sitting there with your name on it the whole time you've been alive. And most people. Most gifted, called, spirit-led people go their entire lives never making a single withdrawal. Not because the funds aren't there, but because nobody told them that the account existed. Nobody showed them the door. Nobody gave them the pen. This podcast, my friend, is your pen. Every episode, we're going to come back to this bank together. We're going to make withdrawals in the form of clarity, strategy, courage, creativity, and the specific insight that turns your gift into real, tangible, world-changing value. The account is loaded and the deposit is real. And God is standing at the window saying, you can withdraw from this. Come on, let's go. I

Your 20 Minute Deposit Inventory

SPEAKER_00

told you at the top that I wasn't going to let you leave this episode just inspired. I want you to leave equipped. So here's your creator's economy assignment for this week. And I want you to actually do it, not bookmark it mentally and then forget in four days. Now the assignment has two parts. Part one is set a timer for 20 minutes. Not later, not this weekend, within the next 48 hours. And in those 20 minutes, write down by hand, if you can, three answers to this question. What can I do naturally that seems hard, complicated, or even impossible to other people? Don't qualify it. Don't argue with yourself about whether it's really a gift. Don't say everybody can do that because they can't. If it comes easily to you, write it down. That's the beginning of your deposit inventory. That's the starting point of your account audit. Part two. Under each of those three things, I want you to write one sentence. Who needs this? Now, this is not who would it be nice to help in some abstract thinking? This is specifically what kind of person, what kind of problem, what situation are they in? Who actually needs the gift, the valuable gift that you naturally carry as a deposit from God? Because let's face it, your gift was never just about you. It was always about who was waiting on the other side of it. That's your assignment. Two parts, 20 minutes. You can do it. I want to go back to that woman at the coffee shop, the one I described at the beginning of this episode. She has the gift. She has the calling, the fire. You can see it, even when she's tired. And the gap between where she is and where she knows she's supposed to be has been the most frustrating thing that she's ever had to sit with. But here's what I now know that I wish somebody had told me earlier, and maybe told you a long time ago. The gap that exists is not the evidence that God doesn't have a plan. The gap is the evidence that the plan is bigger than the current access could fund. You haven't been failing. You've been standing at that wrong machine. And today, right now, in this moment, you just got the pen and the directions to the right one. I'm telling you, your account is loaded. The deposit is real. It's been there with your name on it since before you were born. Now come on and make your withdrawal.

Share, Review, And What’s Next

SPEAKER_00

Thank you so much for spending time with me in this episode of our Creator's Economy podcast. And if this episode hits something in you, please share it. Text it to the person who needs it. Leave a review. It doesn't cost you anything, but it does cost someone else something if they never find this. In the next episode, I need you to come back for this one because we're going to flip something that I think is going to help you think about your gifts in the modern world because we're talking about artificial intelligence, about why the rise of AI is not a threat to your creativity, that everybody is acting like it is. In fact, it might be the biggest argument for your unique value that has ever existed. And I'll explain why when you come back. Bring somebody with you. And until then, go to that ATM and make a withdrawal.
