In this episode, Cam and Joey step into the confession booth and share a few things that have been weighing on their minds, all in the hope of feeling a little lighter afterwards.

Then, they hand the mic over to their colleagues, giving them the chance to anonymously confess workplace secrets, mistakes, and stories they’ve been keeping under wraps.

To finish the episode, the boys reflect on questions their younger selves would have appreciated hearing answered and offer some questionable advice… or maybe some genuinely good advice. That’s for you to decide.

SPEAKER_05

Joey, I've got something to confess. I've been watching off campus and I've actually been enjoying it.

SPEAKER_06

What? Why? No. Okay. Alright. So I know this show, right? I know this show because Alana's actually been watching this. Have you watched it? Oh, snippet snippets.

SPEAKER_05

You've watched it. You've watched it.

SPEAKER_06

No, no. No, you you're you've watched some of it. I've watched Bits and Bobs. No, because Alana's there and she's like, You love it. Come sit down. I've watched episode one, two.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, so you've watched some of it. There you go.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and then I was like, I can't do this anymore. And then I've got like two steps away. I've got my my laptop. Yeah. And I was just fiddling around on my laptop. Yeah. So I kind of left it to a to a thing, watching off campus. I kept on looking as I kept looking over to the TV. It was always a raunchy scene. Yeah. Dude, it's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Tell me why why have you been enjoying this?

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Believe it or not, the raunchy scenes, I didn't think they were that raunchy. Like, that's the that's what everyone keeps saying. It's like, oh, it's so sexy. It's such a sexy show. Yes, okay. The sexy moments, absolutely. But sometimes I'm like, does it really need it? Do you know what I mean? Does it really need it? Like, you know, is it doing anything to the storyline? Yeah. There is no storyline, to be completely honest. Yeah. It's like about a hockey guy and uh and a girl falling in love. Yeah, that's really it. Yeah. But I loved like the the sappy, like romantic moments. It kind of reminded me of like high school musical.

SPEAKER_06

Oh real?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I was like, there's some moments that were really cringe. Yeah. Like hella cringe.

SPEAKER_06

Hella. Yeah. Like I that scene, the beginning one in season one. Uh season one. Episode one. There's a season two coming out, by the way.

SPEAKER_05

Oh yeah. We finished it. Yeah. The last episode happened. Um, and right at the end ended like on a bit of a cliffhanger. Not really. I'm I'm done watching it. And Sarah goes, I can't wait for season two. And I was like, no, we are not going through that.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god. Well, Alana watched it twice. What? Yeah, season one. She watched it twice. Yeah. I can't believe it. Because she's like, I liked it that much.

SPEAKER_05

No.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Alana. Yeah, I know. Alana. Go help. Look at yourself in the mirror. Come on. The the thing is, I remember watching. I remember watching episode one, and the first scene, she's like clearing out the locker room or something. Straight away, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

That's that's the very first scene. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And the main hockey guy is having a shower.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And she's just staring at him.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'm like, in what universe would this ever happen, right? He's just having a shower, and the chick's just like standing at the door, just staring, watching. You go, oh, oh, cover your eyes, walk away.

SPEAKER_05

Or just yeah, if you saw it, you'd be like, oh gosh, I hope he doesn't.

SPEAKER_06

But then the hockey guy is like washing himself and then sees that she's there, and then he turns around, something like that, and your hands by himself, not going, Oh, cover myself. Yeah, just turns around. Here's my my junk. Yeah. My trunk.

SPEAKER_04

It is it is so I you think there's nothing in this series that was realistic though.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

There was so much inaccuracy.

SPEAKER_05

Like, and that set the tone for the whole thing. Yeah. I've heard everyone talk about it, and they're like, oh, there's so much like nudity involved. Yeah. The first the first episode, like boobs were out. And I was like, what is happening? Yeah. Like, what is happening? We do it, do like straight away. I was like, bang, hit the ground running. But then it kind of did like taper off. That's it. And I was like, that's good. Like, genuinely. I'm like when nudity is fine when it's in context of the storyline. Yeah. But when it's just there just to get some like just get viewers.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_05

That's what I'm like, what's going on? Yeah. But the show, that's what I was saying. I actually didn't hate like the um the nudity. I mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I want to look at his hockey guy's butt again. That's what he mean.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Okay. Also, the main character, like the girl, I also liked the fact that she was the girl next door kind of looking girl, which is really nice. Okay. Like rather than your Hollywood, like done up, like stuff. Um, yeah, she was really like just beautiful in her own like way, and I think that was really refreshing to have like a a like yeah, rather than Botox lips and all that sort of Hollywood kind of style. So I yeah, the main characters are nice. Cool. Anyway, we talked about off campus. That's that was my confession. I'm sorry. I did watch it. Okay. I'm sorry, bud.

SPEAKER_06

No, that's okay. I mean, I I watched it too. Yeah, a couple episodes, and I was like, nah. I'm not watching season two. It was so funny. The just like literally, like every time I was like on my computer, I looked over, it was just like a make out scene, or like people were naked. It's a lot. I was like, what is this like porn? Like, yeah, but it is though.

SPEAKER_05

That's where I I might what do we need it?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, no. Yeah, yeah. I mean, the ladies love it, they love a love story. They love a love story.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I've just told you my off-campus. I think you need to confess something.

SPEAKER_06

Uh okay. I alright, this is crazy. And I don't know if I should say this. Oh wow. Alright, it's it's weird. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, oh buckle up. Buckle up. I'm I'm getting nervous for you.

SPEAKER_06

I'm kind of nervous for this. This is gonna expose me.

SPEAKER_05

Is it?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Alright, so when I walk my dog, right? Yeah, and she does I have a Rottweiler, so she's a big dog. Yeah, right. She does a big poop. Yeah. And I do the right thing. Yeah, you pick it up. I pick it up in the baggie. I'll tie the knot, but then I hold the baggie from the bottom because it's nice and warm on my hands. Yeah, yeah. It's crazy. Oh I don't do it all the time, mind you. I only do it when it's really cold. It's crazy. I love hate it. But I'm like, it's in the bag, it's fine.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, that is insane. Yeah, I'm not sure. I love that you're jittering on the couch. Do you feel uncomfortable? I'm uncomfortable. You you know that's so weird.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's so weird. But I don't look, I don't do it all the time. My heart's going.

SPEAKER_05

It's so fucking it's so weird, but um you hold the bottom of her poo bag.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's it's really warm.

SPEAKER_05

I look, um I okay. Can I just say yeah, claps for you for picking it up in the first place? Yeah, but then you absolutely lost me in the second end.

SPEAKER_06

I think one time I must have just picked it up and just held it, and I was like, ooh, like it's really quite warm.

SPEAKER_04

Wow.

SPEAKER_06

And it's like, you know, those cold days when your fingers get like really numb. Because I take it early before work. Yeah, so it's like six, six, uh, seven o'clock, really early. Yeah, sun's barely up.

SPEAKER_05

So maybe just um get some heat warmers or some gloves.

SPEAKER_06

Like it was great. Yeah, you know, but I'm like, nah, dog poo. Warm the hand up. And like Alana knows, my mum knows, like I never have heard that. Yeah, I haven't told anyone because it it's thing because it's like you haven't been around when I walked my dog or something. Yeah, that is so it's not all the time, it's not all the time. Yeah, but yeah, that's yeah, yeah, it's a it's a crazy story, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Alright, I've got another confession.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So Ariana Grande released a new song. Okay. Banger. Um loved her last album. I'm actually a big Ariana Grande fan. You know that. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, she's got some good hits.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so her last album I was obsessed with. Oh. Yeah. Um, but I've got something to confess as well.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, considering her new song is out, it like it brought me back to the time when um I watched We Can't Be Friends, her film clip. And uh I sat next to Drew, um, my mate, and we put on the TV, and I sobbed. I cried to an Ariana Grande film clip.

SPEAKER_06

To Ariana Grande.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I cried. You cried? I cried. What's this film clip?

unknown

What's she doing?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, well, what is she doing in this? It's um oh, it's deep, dude. Well, it's the one is it a song? Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh you know, we can be friends. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, why?

SPEAKER_06

Um, I was going through it. Next to Drew as well.

SPEAKER_05

Poor Drew, yeah, he he put it on, and then I was just off off I went.

SPEAKER_06

He's like, oh man, better get some more wine. Wow. Jeez. Oh, dude, are you okay? You you're better now? Got that off your chest.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I mean, it's a great film clip. Yeah, yeah. If you haven't seen it, I should show you. It's have you seen the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? Oh no. It's um it's an older film with Jim Carrey. Anyway, he basically wants to erase his memory of someone because he can't get over her. Um and that is like the premise of the film clip as well. And I was at the time I was seeing someone, and it was only a short amount of time I was seeing this person for, and and I felt really bad for the way things had ended. Yeah. So I watched um this film clip and mate, we can't be friends, and you're just feeling it.

SPEAKER_06

Feeling it through Ariana Grande. Breakup song to Ariana Grande, that's crazy. Normally you put on like, I don't know what um I don't really have any breakup songs. Adele or I love Adele. You know, something like that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So that was my Miley Cyrus.

SPEAKER_05

No, I love Miley Cyrus. Um, yeah, there's some bangers. Damn. Yeah, I do I do love a girly pop. That's another confession of mine. And the fact that I did Cry to an Ariana Grande clip. Yeah, it was a bit heavy. Wow. That's that's weird. Oh, good on you, man. Yeah, I look, I think these are things that you know have been weighing on my mind clearly. Yeah, not really, not really. But weird that it's all come out now. Yeah. Oh, I think I need to confess something.

SPEAKER_06

Well, see over there. What? I build a confession booth.

SPEAKER_04

Oh nice. Wow. That was a good segue. Yeah, that was good. Yeah, I even looked.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, what? Who was that? Uh yeah, what are we gonna do over there? Yeah, so we've asked people to also confess something, and it's the segment that we're gonna call Workplace Confessions.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, guys, we're gonna dress up in our uniforms, our priest uniforms. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Well, not really, but hopefully they can feel a lot lighter too, because it feels good to get stuff off your chest. Sure does. Yeah. So we are opening a confession booth.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I built one myself. Nice, it's beautiful. A two-man sealer, it's great.

SPEAKER_05

Come on in, folks. Come on in.

SPEAKER_03

Forgive me, boys, for I've sinned. In my first year with the company, I kissed my boss's hand. It was my very first night of my professional career. I just performed for the first time. I had had uh far too much to drink. I was at the after party and I saw my boss standing there. I went over to thank him for the incredible opportunity and he literally shooed me away. If you can imagine his outstretched arm pushing me back, I grabbed his hand and kissed him squarely on the palm. We have never spoken again.

SPEAKER_05

All right.

SPEAKER_06

Young boy.

SPEAKER_05

It's okay.

SPEAKER_06

It's okay.

SPEAKER_05

Sometimes you do kiss your boss's hand. I've never done that, never would do that. Kissing your boss's hand.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It's so funny.

SPEAKER_06

The fact that he hasn't spoken about it since I would have brought that up to the boss. Yeah. I was being I've been thinking about that moment, and I love you. Sorry, sorry. Sorry. Um what what do you think? Is he forgiven?

SPEAKER_05

I think it was a bold move.

SPEAKER_06

Very bold.

SPEAKER_05

Very bold move. I'm not sure what was happening in this young lad's head at the time, or the boss's head at the time as well. Did you kiss the boss's hand and keep the eye contact? Because that would have been the concerning part.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, true.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, like yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

No, that's extra. And also the fact that you didn't bring it up is even better. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, great.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I think just pretend that you know that's the norm. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's great. I think he's forgiven.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I think you are forgiven. The ballots have dictated you are forgiven.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's an honest mistake.

SPEAKER_05

It's an honest. We've all we've all been there. We've all been there. At first year in the company, I think it's a write-off. You can do anything in the first year. Yeah. You don't know what. You go, oh, sorry. Yeah, sorry. I'm just nervous all the time. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know what goes on around here. Yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_05

Just the hand was good. Let's leave it at the hand. No kissing. Right.

SPEAKER_06

What a good story though. That's great. I hope he feels better now for that. Get it off his chest. Yeah. But maybe the boss is listening as well. Yeah. Like oh, you know what? I might bring it up with him. Yeah. You know.

SPEAKER_05

Alright. You you may leave the booth.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, get out of here, boy. I mean, thank you, thank you, son.

SPEAKER_00

Forgive me, boys, for I have sinned. There was one ballet and there was a risky scene, and a fellow dancer dared me to kiss a boy on stage. It was his first year. So I went up and did it without him knowing, and I just planted a big old smoochie kiss on his lips and walked away. And the poor guy was dumbfounded.

SPEAKER_06

You're not forgiven by the law. But can we do we have to forgive people? No, we can't what these booths are for? No. Oh no.

SPEAKER_05

We can we we dictate whether they're forgiven or not.

SPEAKER_06

Oh nah. That's unforgivable offence.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, straight away.

SPEAKER_06

I mean a little bit, but it just it I if it it depends on where you were on stage, you know what I mean? Yeah. There's a little bit too much grey air. Did the boy reciprocate?

SPEAKER_05

We'll never know.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Like, yeah. I do I do know that they did start dating for a while after.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, they did. So this one kiss maybe cemented something.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Oh. Oh, well, that changes things. So that does change things. A little bit in a way. But that's a bold move. Bold move. To come out and kiss someone on stage in their first year. Yeah. When the stakes are already very high. Yeah. That's it. That is. And for a dare as well, you take dares very seriously.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, true. Yeah. She'll jump off a cliff if she got dead. Damn. Yeah. Okay. I like it. Do you think forgiven or not? No, I'm going, nah, not you're not forgiven. Not forgiven. Yeah. Wow. Because I'm just thinking, like, what happens if it was roles reversed?

SPEAKER_05

That is that is a good one.

SPEAKER_06

You know what I mean? Yes. But what happens if like I got there to do kiss some girl?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And I just did it. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Exactly.

SPEAKER_05

Out you go.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_05

So I I I respect that. Yeah. The fact that I know that the boy was absolutely dumbfounded, but there was a relationship after it worked in her favour.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

But if that hadn't escalated to that point, not forgiven. Yeah. But as this kind priest or a priest. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

It's so funny, we're putting on like calm voices for this, aren't we? This segment. It feels weird. It feels really weird. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Forgiven. Alright, get out. Get out of here. You animal. I dare you to get out of here.

SPEAKER_01

Forgive me, boys, for I've sinned. One day in class, we were doing this Jette exercise from the corner. We had to do Jette, come back, run around, do it again, do it again, do it again, do it again. By which point we created this giant vortex of wind, of which I farted at some point in there, and it was it was a rank. And it just started flying around the room, and no one knew where it came from, and everyone was joking on it.

SPEAKER_05

I've never told anyone that I still remember that. I'm glad this person didn't take it to the grave. Yeah. Yeah, they've got the this off their chest.

SPEAKER_06

He sounded very happily happy getting this off his chest as well. It's quite good. Great.

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely forgiven for this one.

SPEAKER_06

Absolutely not. Oh controversial.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, nah, it's uh Do you think do you think denying it for so long? Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I think so.

SPEAKER_05

You should you, you know, you should you fess up.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think because he's like in the studio. Did he say he was? Was he in the school?

SPEAKER_05

In the school, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

He's with all his mates, like you can tell everybody. You can tell. Just afterwards, be like, oh boy's like, that was me. Ha ha. Yeah. You know what I mean? But he just is like, nah, like who who did that? And probably blames it on, you know.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, so you're saying honesty is the best policy at this point in time. I think so.

SPEAKER_06

And as well, like for me, it's funny content, then you know what I mean? Like in the school, and that when then we got something to laugh about after class, but like, oh, actually, me.

SPEAKER_05

But what if he get he got a nickname after for all his school life?

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah. Yeah. I don't know, I don't know. Oh, it depends on the vulgarity of the smell. I don't know. See, f all fights are forgiven.

SPEAKER_04

We like spoken about fights so much.

SPEAKER_06

True. Yeah, anyway. Um back to characters. Yeah, I've I've thought about this young man, and you're forgiven. I'll forgive you. I didn't want to, but I did.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you are forgiven. It happens, and you were young. Just next time be honest with yourself and with your peers.

SPEAKER_06

I like this. The this must be a pretty serious um priest booth, because we've got two priests in this booth. No, I mean, like, there's some serious confessions going on.

SPEAKER_04

You know, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Because normally it's just one.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. But like this is and they don't talk back to you.

SPEAKER_06

No. Yeah, we're we're like ripping on you as well. This is like two, two very experienced priests as far as now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Ballet priests. Ballet priests. Yeah, actually, yeah. Get out of here, boy. Yesterday was my first full run of Romeo um in like the studio call.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So it's uh, you know, with everyone around, it's my first time doing the whole ballet from beginning to end. So it's kind of a big deal. And Romeo's a huge role. Yeah, it's a huge role. Yeah, yeah. So um there was a bit of nerves, but like excitement, and it's all you go through so many different emotions, yeah. Especially studio call, but also on stage. You know, I I'm one to get nervous, but I always believe I handle them quite well. I've been years of dealing with it. Um, also want to give you a shout out, by the way. Thanks for being my Tib Ot. Yeah. No, seriously, it's so good. It guys, also, I'm playing Romeo and Joey's playing my Tibbalt. Yeah, it's gonna be an epic show. Yeah, it's gonna be a good one. That is that is so fun. I've never really danced with you or done anything really with you ever.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, we we had a couple when we were principal roles when we were younger. Yeah, we did um Sylvia, yeah, yeah, yeah. But they were like not really on stage. I've never been on stage with you. I think you just pretended to shoot me with an arrow or something. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, yeah. Damn.

SPEAKER_05

So that's why it was a big moment for me too. I was like, oh my best bud.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, face to face.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it was really sweet. I was like, no.

SPEAKER_06

It was kind of funny because I was like, I have to like hate this guy, and I was like, how can I hate this guy?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, me too! Yeah, we were practicing at the back and I was laughing. I was like, oh mate, I'm not gonna be able to keep it, yeah. But awful professionals, yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, we were good. We ran it in. Yeah, and it's just gonna get better. Like, yeah, that was like half. That was fifty, maybe seventy percent. Yeah, so I've got even more in the tank. Oh, I can't wait.

SPEAKER_05

It's gonna be good, it's gonna be good. But um, yeah, like just with yesterday before doing the the full studio call and doing the run. I was just like, I had a moment of going, oh man, younger Cameron would be stoked that I'm here. Yeah. So yeah, it just got me thinking on uh on a more like serious note, we can use this podcast to reach out to our younger versions of ourselves and give them some advice. Totally. So a little segment I like to call questionable advice.

SPEAKER_06

Questionable advice.

SPEAKER_05

Nice. I like it. Yeah, yeah, that's cute. Yeah, great. So I wrote down some questions yesterday and um this morning as well. So the first one was how do you stop being nervous before a performance?

SPEAKER_06

Mm-hmm. I I'll I'll go back to when I'm doing nutcracker prints, but I I feel like like doing makeup, getting like the tights on early. Yeah, I feel like that's really good. Yeah, I like to chuck the tights on early, chuck the track is over top. Yeah, it gets uh kind of more into character and stuff.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah. Get more prepared as soon as possible.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. But um, you know, I'm very loud and I like to get with people and stuff. I like to stay more to myself. I feel like yeah, I feel like that was really good. And then more like conserve your energy, conserve my energy. I'm such a uh a guy where I'm like I see someone like jumping in the wing, going like nuts. I'm like, save it for the stage, you know what I mean? Yeah, I'm always like that. Save your energy. Yeah, but like I do I I don't know why, but I do a little bit of pacing, like I like side to side, like transferring my weight. Yeah, yeah. I feel like that just helps me deal with nerves and stuff. Yeah, and what about like

SPEAKER_05

even on the lead up do you get nervous like a week before like just have moments of like oh crap like performance is coming up actually yeah yeah I wasn't sleeping well at all actually yeah funny enough yeah my sleep was so bad yeah so that was the hard thing and then you know when you get angry at yourself because you're not sleeping yeah yeah so then you're like come on going to sleep yeah yeah and then it makes it worse yeah it makes it worse but honestly it's not as bad as you think you just kind of just deal with it yeah I'm not any your coping mechanisms yeah I'm pretty good um what's um what's like some of the coping mechanisms you do I don't know I'm always on the search for something new or something that works for me but I think preparing for the role is really nice I've had times where I haven't been prepared for a role and that's been really unfortunate but sometimes that also works out in my favour as well because I go out and I'm really spontaneous. Yeah and I'm just like I've got zero F's given. I just go alright well you know it is what it is and then sometimes it's one of my best shows and it can also be on the opposite side when I'm too prepared and then I'm in my head more. Yeah so it's a it's a juggling act but I think um preparation's always really nice and being um in in the moment being instinctual and tapping into why we do this in the first place because sometimes nerves can consume you and you go oh and you get in your head yeah it gets really loud yeah and you start fixating on your nerves rather than the performance itself. Totally and to go oh younger cam would kill for this opportunity so just enjoy it like you're here now so try to enjoy it I think that's that's really important. Yeah totally that's great wow we're so wise yeah wise but nah yeah yeah yeah like younger Joey as well yeah I'm a bit like because it's all connected to company in the school yeah just walk up the hallway and watch the company do class and stuff yeah you're and you're like you're like oh man like I don't know but yeah now I'm here and it's yeah it's amazing it's so cool I think it's moments of like stopping and reflecting yeah that's it I think that's important too but like as well it's like never stop having fun as well like from there to here oh dude I haven't stopped yeah and I think that's important too that's a good one just have fun man yeah take um take the job seriously but don't take yourself yeah that's a good one that's great yeah I've got another question how do you stop comparing yourself to others I like to maybe like when it's like really bad like a couple times like in the school and stuff you just leave splash some water on your face wash your face go to the bathroom whatever come back full reset you know I mean that's always good that's really good I've done that a few times actually yeah it just just wakes you up and shakes like your nervous system up a bit too that's it yeah just sometimes uh instead of staying in the studio in this space and change environments yeah yeah you you're in this space you feel like you're like whatever competing or whatever a bit against someone um just like sometimes be like all right just gonna take a second leave the room um it's always good take a few deep breaths and just yeah that's nice for me I remind myself of what I'm bringing to the table yeah and I remind myself of what that dance is bringing to the table because I think everyone's unique everyone's different I don't compare myself at all anymore I really don't I've never been a big like yeah um competitive guy I've never been like that I'm competitive with myself but not with other people but yeah if if if I think someone's being competitive with someone else I'm like use that to inspire you not to push you down. Yeah I think that's really important.

That's why I kept saying the school because it was more in the school like you always comparing and it's like oh man like a you know jobs and stuff but it's like we're all there for a reason. Yeah you're all great yeah you know I mean totally but yeah I like that point as well like we're all different in a way yeah which I think you tap into that yeah and that sets you apart which makes you an even better dancer. Yeah definitely yeah that's a good one oh yeah that was that was nice I'm gonna finish off because we always do we're doing this thing now where we say we're thankful for something. Yeah what are you thankful for mate I'm thankful for this friendship man.

SPEAKER_05

Oh God Yeah yeah right back at you oh it's good man it's good I can't I can't beat that and and dude is this what episode is this uh is this nine or eight nine no I think this nine dude yeah hell yeah oh we lost count yeah literally living in the moment yeah we we so good yeah mate it was a bit more um of a serious note but I liked that it was good yeah yeah a bit more of a serious episode not as much laughing and carrying on and giggling and yeah but hey don't worry there's a lot more in store yeah we can we can do we can do both yeah yeah yeah exactly great dude all right uh catcha everyone
